Who Will This 'New and Improved' IRS Target?

"In the meantime, back to this IRS thing. I mean, I'm just kind of offended. I sound like I'm like, you know, one of the woke ones right now, 'cause I'm offended, everything. But I'm offended when they think that the answer is to somehow just go after every Tom dick and Harry and Jane and Susan and Sally. And this is who will be affected. It will be your middle class. As much as they're going to try and tell you, oh, it's the 1%, no, no, no. Just in terms of, if you have that many IRS agents, who are they going to go after, and they can't, as I keep saying, they can't go after. The people that they should go after were just the billionaires, they get away with the great deal on the tax front because we've got lawmakers that are so concerned about making sure they have enough money for their next campaign. I told you yesterday about all the money. I mean, Kirsten sinema is one example. She's got donations individual donations from the private equity industry totaling over 500,000 for her last campaign. I mean, that is a lot of money, right? And I'm just looking at the numbers 54,900 from executives over at KKR, 35,000 at Carlisle, 27,300 over at Apollo. The private equity industry is a very big lobbying organization. In fact, they probably spend more money than any other industry right now. They're on K street and one of the reasons they're doing this is to give themselves the beneficial treatment when it comes to taxes. Do you know the Chuck Schumer? Collected 1.28 million from the private equity industry, including Blackstone and KKR, so you really think that he's that interested in raising taxes on this particular group of people. Go back and listen to Monday's podcast. If you want to explain or they're on why this is income and why it should be treated as income and why this is just highway robbery, frankly, of the American people and of our government, but these people in Washington I'll tell you the whole system is so darn corrupt. When you see what just went down. And when you see that they're going to effectively inflate, again, the U.S. economy artificially by spending all this money while simultaneously adding another 80 billion to go after everyday folks from the IRS all all while saying we're going to give a pass to those private equity investors. I mean, give me a break. It's not investment. It's income and they need to be taxed as such. Anyway, it's really pretty disgusting. But the whole thing is just disgusting. I mean, the idea that they want to pass this off, the name itself as somehow an inflation reduction act. Guys, you're just spending more money. All right, before I get to that, I do have one more thing I want to mention to you. You know, it's summer and we're all looking for movies and I don't know about you, but it's kind of hard sometimes. Kind of hard to find a good movie that you can enjoy watching that is representative of your values. I think that our values have gotten kind of lost and pop culture these days. And it's one of the reasons why I think it's important for all of us to think about what we're watching and who we're supporting when we watch it, right? Are you really into Disney right now with all their bogus? Or do you want to try and seek out some alternative sources of entertainment? This is where this movie in particular comes in. When I was a kid, I used to watch Cameron on that, what was that show? Oh, you know what? I got to look it up right now as I'm talking to you. This is how you know I'm recording in real time. He had that sitcom, when I was a kid, what was it? So anyone who can answer that in the questions below, extra super duper points, go to you. I'm going to come back to that in a second because it's going to drive me crazy. I remember that sitcom really, really well. Anyway, he's got a new movie out a new movie that he's backing. He's a very big Christian. He's an growing pains. Growing pains. That was the sitcom. I remember that now. Anyway, he's got a new movie that is just out. It's pretty neat. It's got a good message, and I think it's worth taking a look at as you're looking for things to watch and be entertained by. So this is called life Mark. And in this movie life Mark, it tells the story of David who has this very comfortable world that gets totally turned upside down when his birth mother, unexpectedly reaches out to him, and she's looking to meet him. He's 18 years old at that point. She only had the chance to hold him once, and she went looking for him and he finds this out. So it's really, it's an interesting storyline and probably one that happens a lot. He gets encouragement from his adopted parents, and so he embarks on this life altering journey, which really is a process of discovery and it leads to a pretty staggering truth from his past, inspired by a true story life mark is a powerful reminder that one decision, one choice can impact so much more than one life. It's a pro family pro love pro forgiveness pro reconciliation and pro new beginnings kind of movie.

Yeah, he was saying, I have no idea whether things the J 6 members or the public or pundits or whatever have said have affected why Merrick Garland's folk out or Trump being a target. I don't know. But honestly, I don't care anymore. I don't care as long as we get there. Um, we just said this morning former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson is cooperating with the DoJ. I know we were all like, oh, when they said that they were surprised by her testimony, were like, want the is going on at DoJ, but who cares? I mean, I guess Merrick Garland said yesterday, we're going to uncover some things. They don't have they're going to uncover some things. We don't have. I don't care as long as we get to, you know. And it's a hard time to a point where it's spilling out into the open. We're starting to see these people go in. We don't know who Tom dick and Harry are that are going in from the Proud Boys or whatever to testify. But when you see more short going yeah, we're getting to the top wrong. "Oh, wow. Author James Michener? Pearl S buck? The name of you. Look at that. Even though you're in Montgomery county, you see, you see bucks county as your county kind of. No, I don't. It's about a half a mile from my house to the county. Okay. Our family is an eerie. A little distant from you. Yeah. Okay. My mom always tells me she says, we have a grave site and Erie, just remember that. Thank you, mom. That's a complete offer to the corner of the state. The other side. But I'll wave at you as I go by. So what can I do for you, Jerry? Well, you can make me happy, but it's not going to happen, but I'm afraid I'm afraid that's a little too expensive. So I don't guarantee happiness. I do guarantee satisfaction. Okay. Well, Leo, while go, I called, and I was using his app, I got off of the stool version, the App Store. And I was able to get different radio stations streaming service. Oh, yeah. I remember that, yeah? I could program them in and they would come on and now something happened. The evil heart of money, I guess, a commerce has come in. I heart an Odyssey. Now, I have a download both of their apps, but some of them you can't even turn them off. Once you get them on, what is the purpose of this video? So are you listening just on your phone or do you have one of those Internet connected radios? No, on the phone and sometimes on an on the computer. Okay. Mostly on the phone. So this is, and by the way, full disclaimer, this show is owned by iHeart. And so we're on iHeart on the app. And many of the stations, I don't know about the station you're listening to. Many of the stations are iHeart stations. But I am completely objective, okay? So I will tell you the objective truths. Everybody, you know, when the Internet came along, the first reaction of radio stations was, what? Who cares? There are no threat to us. But it wasn't very long before they realized, oh yeah, you know what? Digital technology could be a threat to us. Especially if people can get in their cars, so they said, well, we better we better be there. We better be on the Internet. So every radio station, every Tom dick and Harry started an Internet stream and usually you'd go to their website and there'd be a little real player or something like that on there. And you press a button and you'd hear it. But then they realized there's a problem. The financial model, the business model for streaming is the exact opposite of the business model for radio. Let me explain.

"Hi, dinesh. This is Laura. One of the themes in 2000 mules is the issue of vote harvesting. Is vote harvesting legal or illegal according to the laws of each state. Thank you. This is a very important question. In fact, it is the heart of the objection to the movie made by Philip bump of The Washington Post. Essentially what Philip bump says is that this is a movie that shows and demonstrates beyond a reasonable doubt, massive harvesting. And he goes, yeah, but harvesting is not always illegal. It's allowed in a whole bunch of places. And so what's the big deal really? Maybe in some cases it wasn't allowed in certain ways, but you're not going to cancel out a vote because the mode of its delivery, the harvesting was somehow out of sync with the rules. Are you? Now, this is, this is something we need to drill into because these laws are made at the state level, and they vary. So let me say, this is what boat harvesting is. Vote harvesting is giving you a ballot to someone else. This is we're talking obviously about absentee or mail in ballots. You don't go deliver the ballot yourself. You give it to someone else and say you would do it. Now, there are about 27 states that allow some form of vote harvesting, but in most of these states the form allowed is very limited, very specified. So let's start with the most liberal vote harvesting laws. These are places like California and Hawaii. And the idea here is you can give your ballot to anyone. California allows you to ask any Tom dick or Harry, so to speak to return your ballot. And that is permitted. Now, most states don't do that, even states that allow vote harvesting normally limit who you can give your ballot to. So let's take, for example, the state of Georgia. In the state of Georgia, you are permitted to give you a ballot only to a family member, or if you are in a confined or facility, if you're in a nursing home, you can give it to a caregiver. And that's it. No one else. So this show and then some states prohibit vote harvesting altogether. You have to be the one who returns your own ballot. If you want to send in your ballot, it's got to be you that brings it in person or you take it to the mail and Dropbox. No one can do it for you. But, and this is the point that Philip bump misses completely. There is a critical distinction, which is in the movie. Now by in fairness, when he wrote this in The Washington Post, he hadn't seen the movie. So I actually contacted him and said, I like to send you the movie. He's like, please send it to me to Nash. I'm trying to organize a debate with this guy. In fact, you sort of challenged me to a debate and I'm I accept. I accept. So I'm going to go to Filip bump and see if we can set up a big debate in some places like Atlanta or Phoenix. In other words, these are places covered in the movie. But the distinction I'm talking about is between vote harvesting and paid ballot trafficking. Now here's my point. While in California, it is legal to give you a ballot to somebody else and have them return it in no state in the country. Is it legal to pay someone? Whether a mule or someone else to return a ballot. Why? Because it immediately introduces the issue of bribery. Your money changing hands and the election process. And so let's say I live in California with the most liberal vote harvesting laws and I say, you know, Tom, you go return my vote. That's allowed. What if I say Tom? I'll give you $50 if you take my vote and go drop it off. That is a fraudulent ballot that must not be counted. That is an illegal practice indulgent by me, and by Tom. And it makes the ballot flat out illegal. This is something that Philip bump seems to have no understanding of. So the point I want to make is that the practices depicted in the movie, in which you have paid mules. Now how do we know they're paid? We know in really two separate ways. The first is the true the vote was approached by whistleblowers, whistle lowers in Arizona, whistleblowers in Georgia, and the whistleblowers kind of unfurled the operation. They said, listen, I got paid. I dropped off ballots. I was paid $10 a ballot. I dropped off a whole bunch of ballots, so this is the amount of money I made. Well, were you the only guy doing it? Are you kidding me? No, I was part of a network. Tons of people were doing it. So this is what alerted through the vote that they needed to look further at this. So we know from the whistleblower that this is what was going on. And of course, in the movie we have an interview with the mule, who specifically talks about being a mule, kind of from the horse's mouth so to speak. And so the fact that this is a paid operation is known in that way. Well, here's the second way, also depicted in the movie, and that is you see the meals and they are taking photos. Now, this is really interesting. They're not taking, by the way, selfies, not one of those, you know, let me take a photo of myself with my I voted sticker. No, it's not that at all. You have a mule, is looking left and right, no one's looking at me. Okay, fine. I'm gonna put the ballots in. Oh wait, I need to take a photo. You take a camera out and they record, they take a picture of the ballots being put in the box. Why? Because that's evidently how they get paid. They've got to show I was there. I did the job. Here I'm performing the tasks. Now I need my money. So there is no question. And by the way, there's a third way all that law enforcement has to do is step in, interview these meals, how much were you paid? The whole idea that you could have thousands of meals in a nonprofit app is just preposterous. It beggars beliefs. So bottom line we're dealing with completely illegal practices, not mere harvesting, but paid ballot trafficking that is illegal in every single state. Well, it's.

"And take that part out and let's go back to the hypothetical world where there are narcissists, right? Sociopaths, crazy folks that come up and, you know, kill babies and you know gut cats for no reason when they're ten years of age. They go on to the murder rate, and, you know, defile the bodies of their victims. Yeah. And we know of some of those that have been captured. Some of them spend lives in prison. Right. And some of them spend their lives living on the free world and never ever get caught. Say that we live in a world where that's not happening. Then we're creating in your mind, we're creating in your theory, your belief. We're creating healthy open spaces where if I'm agitated about something I have the room to talk about it, regardless of how grave and severe it may be, right? He gave me a head not. So then so then the question that I have is is there ever going to be a point in that hypothetical world where. Somebody wants to do or somebody's ill intent thoughts are punishable by death? Is there ever going to be a point where oh, that? That is the one thing that we can't accept. We're going to have to kill you. I'm not cool with that. I'm not cool with that. You know, I think there are situations, you know, like that. That police officer who took down the guy who was killing 11 people. He's justified. That's justifiable move. He did what he had to do. In the attempt to preserve life. But that was his station. That's his station network. That is the cause that he took up, that is the job function that he took. I don't think making every individual citizen that person is a good idea. Because the same way we have good cops and bad cops, we have good people and bad people. So if you keep it extending the amount of people with that responsibility, you just extend in the odds of more bad cops that ain't even cops out there, patrolling the streets. I think that's weird because from what I'm hearing, I'm grabbing the idea that you're saying that it's like, that's his station that he took because that's his job that he took. So the teacher who did it didn't have the right to do it because he was a fucking teacher of ballet, for example. I'm not saying he doesn't have the right to do it. I'm saying that I think the odds are in our favor, if we not making every Tom dick and Harry, able to access, have that responsibility to again, police officers who are trained, who whose job it is to preserve life..

"It's insane. There is no way your second best player should be in that position. There's a lot more going on up there that needs to be dealt with. And that's not a Brett Brown problem. It's not a Doc Rivers problem. It's a Ben Simmons problem. It's been Simmons problem the whole time. He's got to figure out he's got to grow up as a player. But it's not his fault that every Tom dick and Harry out there was like, oh, Tom Phil Simmons. Speaking of, you know, oh, I think he's the best defensive player in the league. You know, I think he's like magic. What does that do to him? Except for the shooting, dude. Come on . Zero shooting. Right, exactly. So it's like we just, we want to annoy these guys before the raid actually be anointed. You know, and I think some guys just get that treatment. Some guys get that, you know, Trey young is getting that treatment for some reason right now. You know, it's like it's a little absurd to me. But you know, if Trey young has some hard times, gets knocked down and then starts to win, guess what? He'll be back to being respected and appreciated. It's a funny thing that we get tired of it. Like you were saying, they get tired of kind of a story. And so Ben Simmons now is in a spot where perhaps his value is undervalued, perhaps. But he is a tough fit from it from team perspective, right? Like a guy a ball handling power forward who can't shoot from the outside. He's in the 5. That's a hard thing. This is I think this is like, you know, homosexuality completely different. If I was homosexual, I would like not even want to be put in the same category. I think transgenderism in this Gender dysphoria kind of situation should be all on its own. And yet that kind of pushing this all on us, and even Democrats themselves are like enough with this Whoa, crap. It's getting so bad. That now Emojis are coming to your phone. That's right. Check it out on Twitter. They go to Emojis. You see it on Twitter. They're putting it out there. Soon, you'll be able to have an emoji where a man appears to be pregnant. A woman appears to be this. I mean, like, this is the crap we're dealing with. And you know, our kids left attacks and with the emojis and this and that so like this is becoming more and more normal, and it's not normal, and we have to make sure we tell our kids that it's not normal to want to cut off a body part, and it frightens me. Because if you make it seem like this is totally normal that anytime a kid is feeling depressed or anxious or something they're going to want to do some sort of body modification. Or they'll think that they're trapped in the wrong body. And that's what scares me because you and I know better, right? The generation. My father forget about it. What he he thinks this is all insanity. I remember my mother when Caitlyn Jenner was undergoing her transformation. My mother was like, cuckoo. Bootstrap Obama! Come here. Oh, what is she couldn't believe it was his. If he cuts it off, he's going to die. He's gonna die without it. How can a man cut it off? Like to them? My parents are elderly, They can't even comprehend. Did a wrap their brains around it. Our generation. We get it. Kind of okay. Uh, you know, but to say this is normal. That's what's freaking me out. Now, take a listen to this. This is a tiktok er, She's pretty famous. She's calls herself the lesbian Snow White, and she's given tutorials on how parents that are non binary. She wants to create a whole new language. This is what's happening. I'm not kidding. This is what's really happening. You thought the thing with the day in the them and that they're in the US and the Demi Lovato call her us was bad. Take a listen to this number nine can be hard for parents with an LGBTQ y a plus community to find a word that they feel comfortable being addressed as by their Children. So here are some examples. Dhamma. Mother. Maddie. Maddie Motta Meanie Nopa Nori, Opa Perry Pom Pom Sasa and See. See How about if you Can I say that if you with this nonsense, Oh, my God, And she's like all proud of herself that she's kind of coming up with this new language. This new non binary language. Let's send them off to outer space and call it a day. I mean, this is just so mind boggling to me. And then you got you got Porsche Akari Richardson, who tested positive for marijuana, You know, she's America's Fastest woman. And now she can't compete in the Olympics because she smokes a little weed. Okay, I understand. Rules are rules and regulations and all this and that I've never I've never even smoked marijuana in my life. I understand that. However, how are you going to say that what she did was wrong. And then on the flip side, that guy that is now competing in New Zealand as a woman, he was it wasn't he's a man biological male. But now he's competing as a woman weightlifter, and he's injecting himself with hormones, and that's okay. That's the double standard. The hypocrisy I'm talking about here. How are you going to say what chicanery did was completely wrong? And what the New Zealand guy is doing is perfectly okay and absolutely normal. We have to. It's like this upside down. Flipped out world that I just I'm over it. I'm just sick of it, and I'm it's never going to be normal. Let's go to the phone calls. Uh, let's see who would shoot you Do let's go to Jimmy from Brooklyn. Hey, Good afternoon. Great show. I just want to say something about the Cuban thing. And we should take all all the people that want to be socialist and Communist from our country, ship them over to Cuba and take Cubans who want to be free and patriotic to America. Absolutely. Let's do a swap. Absolutely. Let's do a swap. I mean, Listen, This is what What's astounding to me The fact that my Yorkie says that Cubans are not welcome here, and if anybody should be here, it should be under political asylum reasons, right if they're under an oppressed regime or fleeing for their lives, I saw another story and I was going to print it out, and I forgot about it that there is a family from the Middle East. That if they go back to their native country, they will 100% be murdered. So they've been living in an airport for weeks while they're trying to get political asylum to come here to the United States. How is that? That's not right. Do you understand? That's not right. That's what this country was founded upon. Those are the principles. Those are the people that should be here. Not somebody who hops a fence, not somebody who goes through the was not somebody who got here through a coyote or six traffics and all these other things. That's why it's not fair. That's why we need a process right just to follow the laws. So then the people That deserve to be here or have a right to be here under under the laws are here. That's what this cut. We can't just let every Tom Dick and Harry in because of proximity because they happen to be there. You know, or somebody who is a convicted killer or somebody who you know, has been deported numerous times that that's a problem. Meanwhile, you have the Democrats talking about what's going on in Texas talking it. Well, you can hear it for yourself. What Biden says, Uh, just to refresh your memory 23. I've said it before. We're facing the most significant test of our democracy.

"Yes absolutely anything in extremely high doses right. I think that Commonsense i will say that with respect to testing you know generally i think you know The world anti doping agency removed. Cbs appropriate substance several years ago. And so for most pro athletes. They're going to be just fine. Unless of course rented association that takes very hardline roles. But the reality is if you're just consuming hemp derive cd and other capabilities from the odds of getting a meeting. Thresholds that show up on those tests is very very low. Having said that if people have individual concerns they oughta talk with human resources or wherever they report to in that context just to feel comfortable but generally very safe and and and that's the i think it's helpful for people to know i will say though that as we've seen in the vape context certainly here in the us you know there's profiteers rights. Dvd exploded two years ago. Nobody knew what was then exploded. And so every tom dick and harry slapping a label on a bottle right and and and it's dangerous right because then you don't know what's really in there and so it does require looking. What are you buying a. Is this a legitimate company. Do they have tests that they disclose about. What's in the product. I think those are important things using common sense and doing a little bit of due diligence. Yes so let's talk about the due-diligence and common because even though you try to due diligence even like like we mentioned off Won't be before we started. There's so much information of misinformation out there. There are so many. You know things. I if you go down one rabbit hole you click one thing on facebook rabbit hole about this type of cd. Then you're gonna get confed. That's not so even though We wanna do our research. What is the difference. So there's there's lots of different seed needs. Cbd isolate full spectrum hemp. well what are the differences. What which was we were. Yeah well there are and they now. Continue to get sort of differentiated right because you know we get people in labs sort of parsing out different for different purposes right which understandable rights. Cbs is reported for good relaxation in deep sleep. But when you look at the science. There's a number of studies that show full spectrum. Oil is the most effective. And it's because the synergies between the different candidates mentioned there's over one hundred so if you have all of the oil scientists shows that's most effective now for certain people are so concerned about. Thc that they just wanna see the iceland and what that means is the oil has been taken and it's been processed and reprocessed in processed and reprocessed to remove all the other candidates except cbd. So that's what c. B. isolate is right. It's for that purpose where people don't want anything else now. They're probably not based on science getting the best impacts they can. But that's that that's what the isolate is. There's also a broad spectrum and what broad spectrum refers to is the full spectrum oil but the only cabinet that's been taken out his any residual..

"TJ Wilson from the Texas Rangers and did nothing with them. So I mean, I don't know what it's going to take sure you can tell him or judges Rangers fan by heart. But when the world today is going to do the Be a competitor in the division, let alone the league. Yeah. Yeah, That's my thoughts. Exactly. Exactly. Yeah. Beato said that but didn't have a loud bell in the back of what? What was that? What happens? Door was open. Oh, no, no, I'm telling you, something was ajar. I understand. I think like, dude, if that Otani kid was on and Astros or a Dodgers or Yeah, like, if you be it'd be crazy er news about him. Why is I mean, so what? Anybody that could compete? Why are the Angels not? Why can't they be better? I mean, they have that history of paying a lot of money to get those stars there And then when the stars arrive there trash, But as soon as they leave, then they have a resurgence in their career. It's a wild thing. Some people say it's an angels hex, or, uh, You know some voodoo going on down there, But that's it's a real thing. They like to pay a lot of money for stars who, while they're underperform, and then when they leave, they do better. But I mean, the Otani kid is obviously doing his thing. Will we see more of these guys? I'm sure there have been guys who could could pitch and hit, uh, education it could for the Longhorns 20 years ago. You know the organization's major league baseball like No, No, No. You got to choose one of those. We're not going to run our picture out there in the batting line up every you know every day or the opposite. Purists will go. They freak out when they see now that they see this. Will that will there be more? I think more guys like that. Maybe you could Jason, but not to this degree. I mean, that dude is something like special on top of special. But, yeah, you know, Brooks was probably the best pitcher hitter that maybe Texas has ever had. Dennis Cook at it to Dennis Cook with great picture hitter too, right? Cookie was. Did I say? He said he doesn't take batting practice? Yeah. Otani, listen that he ripped that off when I say that to you. Yeah. Long old Coach Dick here Long been my opinion that when it comes to softball, practicing is cheating, okay? Kind of goes for golf as well. But I've been practicing a little bit lately. Practicing it. She got some whiffle balls in the backyard. Also, if you play with a zero B A C that's also cheating. Okay? Yeah, that's you Got you got you got to have some jet fuel and let's get some beers in you, man. Get some jet fuel. All right here. Let's move the golf and my guys been on hold on. Zack for new Broncos is on Calle BJ. What's exactly Hey, not much. I I think I would agree to. I also don't care about the baseball thing. I think I tuned out that entire segment hold for. Thanks Exactly. I'll put you right back on hold. I'll have you now. As as I was calling. When you were talking about the UFC thing, not really having any stars. I was wondering what you guys think I kind of feel like golf is sort of getting that way because we had Tiger Woods. It was the superstar forever, and I feel like we haven't really had, like one person that's like the guy. In a while. I mean, we kind of thought speech was going to do it A few years ago, I was like maybe kept to But like looking at the last three years, there hasn't been a single repeat person win a major. Yeah, I think Ed's going to tell you that that is not true that there's a bunch of rising stars in the game. But it's a good point. Zach, you know, because Jon Rahm is on the cusp. He could. He could win this week in sandwich at Royal ST George's, because he almost won the Scottish Open yesterday. He's right there a budding superstar to be, I think, Bitos Man, Rice and the shambo. Is a superstar, so I think there are superstars they've been trying read like with Rory or with Jordan, right? They just they find the hiccups where they might go off course there for a couple of years, But definitely since Tiger they've been yearning for one. I don't know what the problem is just having that great like upper echelon of of players and having it be more competitive. Just show you have to have someone ahead. I think holders above no, I think it's good for the game in term for people, you know, It's it's super golf fans like And and sort of casual golf fans like us. Yeah, it is good, but when that when Tiger was doing it like he's on Good Morning America, all right. He's on the bananas in Fresco morning show for people who don't care about God. He's on their radar, and there are no golfers right now who are like There's no golfers that do what Tiger did, which is a track non golfers to see him play on Sunday on TV because he's such a He was such a huge personality. Huge person. Yeah, Bryson do Shambo. That guy got any friends? I am so far out on him. I don't know what happened. What'd you do to you now? I don't know. Like I was. I was all about it when he was, you know, just pounding protein shakes and driving the ball a million miles. Then I watched him on the match. What? Everything. And now? Hey, dude. Now he's just saying he's got a new caddy. And he and his old of a guy or fine. I'm like you're never going to talk to that guy again. Yeah, he said today that yoga is business were bad. It's needs have been bad. Well that well, why didn't you say that last weekend or the rocket in Detroit? That Yeah. He's got bad knees. He wants to quit for a while. You didn't say that you had to an assistant pro from Dallas National in Dallas. And you got your friend, your swing coach. And, yeah, Yeah. You guys know who my favorite golfer is? Vinny Del Negro. Former Spur? Yes, sir. Golf champion beat John Smaltz in a playoff. Yesterday. I tell you what, for a guy who finished his baseball career is a closer had an awful time closing out that golf tournament yesterday. Oh, you're killing me there today. That was it. Yeah. Sorry. Exactly. Yeah, well, it was this like a Peter Pan golf. What is that stable, You know, American century American century Century championship. Edwin Tahoe and I need you to get me on their real You can. I can get you on there because I think any Tom Dick or Harry can walk up there and play. John Smaltz, uh, was leading the whole day and then collapsed. The last two holds many Del Negro made a birdie on 18. They go to the first playoff all where John Smaltz. It's a tree and it's a tree again and hits it in the water. It's over. And my guy Vinny Del Negro again former spur Now he did play for, like half the teams in the league. I don't know if the Spurs claim him. Uh, he's He's the first ever basketball player to win the celebrity tournament. Oh, is this what, like Charles Barkley was in that we talked about Barkley Bet on himself. How's your guy? Do the one that you have a tattoo on your back? Tony Tony Romo played well finished in third. I needed to make a couple putts didn't do it. Annika Sorenstam fourth I think that's the thing. She's a She's a Hall of Famer. No, she's you're saying she shouldn't be allowed in? No, she should She should woman and she she should not have played because he's a pro. But it was fun because she's a fine golfer enjoy watching her play Barkley but about $100,000 on himself at 5 to 1 odds that he'd finish in the top 70..

"Securing it Who turned into this. Yeah ponzi scheme. Yeah yeah so the reason. There's two reasons that we collateral is every night with real estate. First of all you see. We're teaching these private lenders back. Everyone listening that doesn't know what collateralized me explain it when we say collateralized what remaining is so there's two primary documents the are in play that are in use. When we're borrowing money from a private lender and. I don't create the documents the real estate attorney chris documents there's the promissory note which is what it sounds like. It's me promising to pay the private lender x. number of dollars principal amount frequency of payments interest ready cetera. And then the collateralisation means that that node is going to be backed or collateralized mortgage alita trust which attach is is a lane against that palce in my case too. Where if i don't hold up my end of the bargain. And if i don't pay the private lender they have recourse. In protection they can foreclose they can foreclose on the real estate and so in essence. If i don't play the private lender the property pays the private land right me whole okay. So you said there's two reasons collateralized reasons number one. I want to protect my private lender. I mean i want them to stick around them going anywhere because i want them to keep loaning the money over and over and over again on future deals but secondly what you just said. I mean carol join i. We reward ourselves as very ethical heart serving people. I don't wanna put myself in a position to where i've got all this money borrowed and it's like a s just money with a free line of credit with no bill in accountability on. Where's that money going to get paid back and win instead of just staying open forever. So it doesn't put my protects my private lender and it protects me from being in a position that i just don't want to be in right forces me. Even though i have my intentions are always fantastic it forces me by collateralized to do everything what is said to be done in writing backs that note right so one question. Al always here is when you're asking for the money. What terms do you offer your church. And i've got my own opinions. I'd love to hear yours. I sure so. First of all we pay everybody the same the interest in fact i got a question from a connection. I recently made on linked in this morning. He says in the question he said was well. What is your negotiations. Sound like when you're beginning a conversation where they knew private lender. There are no negotiations. There are no negotiations. I don't negotiate the interest rate. I don't try to talk anybody into doing anything. I'm not selling them. Not big emma chasing. I have a private lending program that we pay everybody the same everybody. Everybody's paid the same for two reasons number one. We're in a small community and people talk and people that are private lenders. Refer other private lenders. Carol join i got over a million dollars. In one point three million last year just referred to us just word of mouth so i don't tom dick and harry private lenders talking to each other and discovering always paying me six pain you eight and he's paying..

"And so think of all the opportunities you're going to have for young a young woman whose only opportunity you know what i'm pretty good at at what sport i'm good at. That was my chance to get a college education. That's gone so think of the trickle effect and how that ends up Affecting not only that individual but families and children. I mean it really is a fascinating deal. That's why i've always said. I don't think that people are really seeing the forest for the trees in this issue. I've always thought it was driven by greed. Because i want mine well. That's not really making it better for everybody. Mark you see any way. They could balance it out where they could. You know even cavenaugh side of it if they're allowing players now saying okay you can use your your likeness your image that you're creating playing for c. You playing for alabama and that's up to you if you can make money great. If can't that's that's your own deal. Do you see any way where they could regulate that enough where it would make sense and they could stop there or do you think now that we've opened this up. There's no going back well and thinking about that seconds. Because i guarantee you that a student athlete at university of alabama the university of texas is going to have a greater opportunity to make money then the university of colorado or the University of. I'm trying to think of some other audio the west at my washington state for example. Okay they're going to have greater opportunity. You don't think that's to tilt tilt the the level playing field that college athletics. You know kind of has right now. that's going to be a factor so there's got to be some level of ability to marshall this to some degree because other than you know otherwise it's just a wild wild west out there and and you know if you've got a state that's you know think of in the state of nebraska for example. There's our our neighbors just to the east of us in the state nebraska. Those people are rabbit for the hospital. Right i mean every tom dick and harry who's got a A bike shopper car dealership or grocery stores gonna want to You know ask. Somebody can the husky football program it could be the third string punter for all we know that. Hey you know what that is going door stuff west. Well that may not be the case in the state of colorado or in the state of of eastern washington washington state is and so there are things that really have to be addressed in. This regard always said about a sports league whether it's a pro sports league or college athletics. There has to be a level of socialism in it. Okay coke wants to put pepsi out of business. And that would be good for coke right. The new york yankees. Don't wanna put the kansas city royals out of business because that would be bad for the yankees and so there has to be a level of socialism..

"Give one parent raising the child that took about Amber. Oh God this girl this girl so demetres out. This is the first good thing that I think she ever did break a poetry good for you Amber. We have to give credit where credit's due good good. I mean also was like really real come on know it wasn't. All right. So Andrew and James live in her house, right? Okay. So I think that James lives in his house. Yes, and also Andrew lives where he lives where he was giving so you don't want people to live in your house don't have a kid with them and invite them to live in your house. Yeah. I mean don't get pregnant 2 weeks after meeting someone just throwing it out there. Okay, so her she's been in her rental for 15 months and it's an hour away. I didn't realize how far it was that's kind of silly. So now Christina and Gary are talking about how they want to get a modular home. What is a modular home? So okay a modular home is like the homes that you it's like a prefabricated home. Okay, kind of like a mobile home, but like a lot of times you see them on trucks on the highway and then they just kind Going to deliver them right like Janelle Janelle. Okay, so it's already built and they kind of deliver it exact. Okay, so they're having a picnic and talking about this a picnic life. So Amber lives in a very apparently crowded area. Yeah, I don't I think because Gary lives in the most not crowded area that everything is crowded. Like do they think she lives in downtown Manhattan? Yeah. That's what I mean. Like, where does she live there? Like can you even go outside? No, she's like no, I can't go outside without a mask. I even film with my mask over my face in my house. Tom de Gregorio right now from Uncle Guard, Foundations, solutions talking about things underneath the house. You're kind of in underneath the house guy. Underground under the house. Yeah, You got some sub grade sub Great Tom Dick or above above grade sub grade work that I like it. Let's go back to the phones. Let's talk to Tom, Tom Tony. In Gainesville. Tony, you're on the home. Fix it, Joe. Hey, you guys. Thanks for taking my call. Um, I have a question about a house I just purchased about six months ago. And we've now Found out We have some foundation issues. We there is an addition to the house. It's Ah breakfast area. It's about a 10 by 12 room and it was built on. Ah, guess like a cinder block and brick facade, Um, Footing Foundation. But the interesting part of it is that it is cantilevered about 2 ft. Out. Um, they couldn't have the foundation out that far because there's a septic tank filled line there and they couldn't build on it. So they cantilevered part of the addition. Now it's sloping and even inside the foundation area where we're having some floor buckling problems, so How would you recommend? What would you recommend doing with that? I just get breakfast. But maybe time has a different well, get dynamite first and then breakfast. So So, Tony, let me ask you the part that is cantilevered. Is is on a block foundation or it's the original its foundation. No, there's a foundation that was built for that. At that addition, it was a totally new addition. And there's the foundation that was built for that. But the foundation is about 2 FT. On each side smaller than the actual room over got it. Yeah. Wow. So you're probably the way to that is probably, you know, pulling down on the rest of it, causing the buckling. Not a good picture doesn't sound like that was engineered quite properly. You might have to Uh, put in some type of posts, T o support that can alleviate area and I realize you're sitting on top of your septic system, but you may not have a choice. You have any recourse with the people? Who did? Did you do this renovation or you bought it this way. You said we bought the house this way recently and it was done several years ago. The cycle garden Disciple guard fixed foundations. Can you make a new foundation for him, Tom? Well, we could but the foundation really He needs a foundation under the cantilevered section and that they didn't do that, because it was over there. The subject could be permitted on the line. So you you you're gonna have Tonto. Probably put in some type of steel posts. If something's gotta support that can believe it, because it's going to create a lot of stress. As you can see, it already is. It is pulling pulling down because nothingto Support it on is probably that cannot leave it. Area probably has a roof line above it that also adding to the voice, right? Yeah. So, um, that you're still gonna have a problem? We can look at that. For you, but most likely based on what I'm hearing, you're still gonna have to put in some type of support system That's gonna have to go on top of or in the tank area, And that's kind of Ah. Precarious situation, but it might be your only on Kit's only over the film line, so it's It's not over the tank itself so well, then, you know we could probably put in some some peers or some foundation puddings and something I think it could be addressed. Give us a call and let us take a look at that. It's a tricky situation, but I think we can help you with it. All right. Great. All right. Thank you, guys. Thanks for the call. Tony 40487207. 50 is the number. Let's go to Dunwoody. Speak with Patsy. Hello, Patsy. Hello? Hello? Yeah. Can you hear us? Yes, I can. Thank you. Thank you. We have a 42 year old, Typical Dunwoody House. Um and we had some rodent issues underneath in the crawlspace. So another one of your sponsors came out and worked with us. Bond. We got a great discount. Thank you, because we mentioned your name Day Baker, but they they took out all of the insulation under the floors and It's cold, So we we don't know whether we should We've done some research. But we don't know whether we should re insulate the floors or should we encapsulate the floors the across space. Okay, well, I mean, that's an easy one. You absolutely want and need to encapsulate the crawl space for all kinds of reasons. It will definitely solve the cold floors. Because even if to put insulation back in Passy, um if there's still gonna be cold because you have events that are open on just inviting that warm, cold air and you know, days like today you're going to really feel it encapsulating it will actually close. The events in any outside air leaks. We will put in a 20 mil, uh, encapsulation system that literally separates the earth from the building envelope of the house. Address any drainage issues and then most importantly, condition it with a commercial grade D him edification system and you will experience all kinds of benefits from warmer floor warm floors, too. Up to 20 to 25% savings on the heating and cooling costs. Any smells can can just disappear and your home will just feel different in a really good way Your air will be much more healthier..

Status of The Landscape Industry in 2020

"What have you seen in twenty twenty so far? I mean at Alamein, we've been hearing a lot from our customers that they were really blown away with the amount of incoming a business from the residential sector. So things were really good there. I think we were all super nervous early in March April win you know the government had asked landscapers not to go to work and you know it was hard to say what was going to happen with the economy but I think most contractors were pleasantly surprised with what happened. In the residential markets I think you know with. Being. Around home more than usual, they had a long list of. Improvements and upgrades to the property in in that translated into lots of. Work for contractors who do serve as residential clients, but unfortunately, I think. On the flip side. The commercial markets were hit pretty hard with so many businesses having financial setbacks. particularly in the kind of travel and tourism industries, I think you know we definitely saw pretty substantial cuts being made and that definitely you know Rolls Downhill and affects the landscapers. that service those types of property. So we we've heard some pretty unfortunate stories about know. Contractors that that service big box, retail, and You know Hotels airports things related to to the travel industry. The commercial industry seemed to get a hit a lot harder than the residential industry. In fact, one was boom and one was embossed Not you know not just totally but overall, it seemed like there was that the dichotomy of differences in experiences from having Kobe nineteen hitter to the coronavirus come through and. Kind of the impact on the businesses, the different wings you work with. Liz a thousands of different companies right I. mean they use Alam cracked. Yeah we do and you know when we look at the traffic Estimates are way up this year particularly on the installation side. So I think it it actually did create a a a nice little boom for contractors who work in the residential. Sector, which is Kinda Nice lots of activity on estimating a lot more small projects in that sort of less than ten thousand dollar range. It just seemed like most you know people who can afford to have. Regular maintenance being done at their house where we're still out spending on on improvements upgrades in. The monthly maintenance. So overall really good result there I think given you know just how serious of an event this has been? So, are you noticing that more money was being spent on maintenance versus initial installations or vice versa because I wouldn't I would guess that there was going to be there was probably a lot more installs done this year of hard scaping projects things that are outside of the comfort zone of the average you know Tom Dick and Harry, or you know whoever however you want to say it but I would maybe hazard a guess that the maintenance didn't fluctuate quite as much because people are home more in when they're home they're going on I can I can do the maintenance on this on the weekend gives me Sanju gets me the house. Yeah I mean we D-. anecdotally, we haven't actually sent a survey out here but anecdotally what we've heard is most contractors weren't feeling that they are routine monthly customers were cutting back. If anything they were feeling like they were getting a lot more requests for upgrades, enhance mids mulching, more planting that kind of thing. So didn't really hear of you know kind of a, do it yourself or takeover and I think you know the the white collar crowd that typically hires landscapers for for maintenance you know that are kind of making a six figure. Sold income. Most of those people. You know maintained their work I. A lot of people unfortunately that that were affected by the the lay offs in shortage of work were working in in lower paying jobs that the. Taliban tourism and that kind of thing. So I think you know the demand for a lot of these small projects came from in just more time at home less. You know summer travel summer vacations were spent. You know at home or nearby and just resulted in a lot of. Attention I think to home improvements in. You know we're seeing that throughout the home improvement sector with the. Of Building Materials it's hard to buy lumber to build a fence or back in it's hard to find. A lot of products that would normally be. Readily, available. So definitely lots of demand out there.
