"Why why was it important for you to double up at that position so early and and did the fact that you know so many of these guys in this genesis draft our twenty sixers? You guys are in Multiple Leagues Together. You kinda know who likes who and WHO's onto. Who did that play into it at all that you wanted to make sure you got that second tight end because you knew that they were about to go quick. Well the you know the tight end and running back depth is is pretty shallow and I really liked waller. I mean he was tied into last year neff. Pc scoring I don't expect Whitney have much impact on performance. But I'll be honest. I was really surprised. Waller was there at the five point one. I thought for sure he wouldn't make it back to me. And so when I saw them there just snagged him. I had no intention of going three running backs. Two tight ends for my first five rounds I've never had draft start like that and then you have my F- f- pc's and so just sort of felt that way. But after I made that waller pick. I'm just going to myself. Oh Man David Bulky are going to me so much crap next week You know what's funny about that? I think like you know it's not like we've ever championed. Hey you gotta get to tight ends earlier or anything like that. I don't think we've necessarily penalized and for doing it. I think the thing that that Dave and I have always brought up over the years that that we don't personally like in. Nfl PC drafts or something that we wouldn't personally do is get an elite tied on and the elite quarterback that that's a little bit more difficult to to to pull off now people more talented than us have done it. I just. It doesn't strike me as having a high win rate during waller by the way Mid Fourth Round is where he's normally going in in our league. Dave sometimes people will draft three times in a row and then they're just being trying to get cute and we really wasn't what you were trying to do and we another. We made that same interests or anything like that no I. I don't think we did. I mean I think the worst thing we said about it is. I think we both preferred over Andrews but I don't think we as far as construction we we didn't have an issue with it So the next question that Dave has four you Go ahead ask it. And then we have a follow up question to that in the chat room. Yeah so speaking of construction you were able to get Jewish settlements you you kind of punted receiver a little bit. You got out of the twelve Eighty eight away. So it's not technically a huge value heritage E. P. But it seems to me I agree with your picks contention that you know that. He's just being drafted away too late. What do you think do you think? Fcc drafters are under underrating them this season without Brady absolutely. I mean right now. I mean he was wide receiver seven last year and if f PC scoring you know. I I expect him to be is Jarrett. Stidham that how you pronounce his name. Correct is He's going to be as go-to Guy. I mean new. England is such a conundrum right. Now what does that offense going to look like With all the changes that they've had and so I I will take element all day long at you. Wide Receiver or so. He's just I think he's GonNa be in that twenty to twenty five range. He's not going to be doing wide receiver seven but I where he's available. I'm taking all day long. Yeah Julian Edelman Pretty crazy that Do that you waited until the sixth round and take your first receiver. Julian still ended up being your number three receiver on this roster. So Nice work. There is being drafted as the thirty sixth wide receiver off the board. Which is pretty crazy. And that was the question in the chat is is is. I don't mean where's he going to finish among the receivers this year And and Twenty to twenty five seems to be the prevailing opinion. What are the chances that he can carve out a wide receiver fifteen? Finish this year stew. And you think about the lack of of Supporting cast around him in New England and the fact that stood on Mike just concentrate on targeting settlement a lot since he rely on them. I that's a possibility I mean it's it's just. He's he's a guy he's the go-to guy there. I I just I. It's it's hard for me to when it comes to be in the eighth round and fantasy drafts this year it will be very difficult for me to not take cattleman iffy staring me in the face at at that point. I think that's just crazy now. He's ADP will probably rise especially if we get some preseason instead them looks all right then you can. Seattle and shooting up around. Maybe even two rounds. We'll see but I think that that his ADP will change over the next month or so we're talking with stuckey and the defending champ of the F. FCC to fifty number twenty At Number Twenty six three point zero league and as well as drafting from the one spot of Genesis What you heard on the airwaves. Last week what's going on Marvin Jones because you took them about around and a half of his. Adp at the nine one. What what do you like about Marvin Jones in twenty twenty two? Well I like Marvin Jones. I've I've owned him in the in the past and he's fairly reliable That Detroit offense. I mean the only added one wide receiver in the draft and who I do like by the way. It's it's one of those where I was having a debate between Marvin Jones and Michael Gallup and with the sixty second clock and the twenty sixers on my tail and me needing way badly after the first five rounds without getting one I am debating it and the clock is running down going. Damn it with Gallup having. Cd Lamb added to the Dallas team and that debate. I'm hearing people. Oh he won't be affected other people saying he's going to be dramatically downgraded because CD lamb going on it and so times running out on me. I'm not proud of the pick with a guy who I'm comfortable with with Marvez Jones. You Gotta get your guys Michael Gallup. Actually one pick later to mike and todd Aaron right after that so they went bang. Bang After After you took Jones. That's interesting so having your where you're like. Oh I'm not sure I should take Marvin Jones or gal you take Jones Gal Gal heavy you know it was probably happy. I'm sure he's thrilled. That was awesome. He's like Oh please. Don't take we take out and then take out A Dave I I should bring this up. You know the last two years. I've asked my son when I was on the clock late in the first round of my dynasty dress who take I give them to players two years ago. I said Galloper Pettus. He told me Gallup goes right on that one. Last year was Devon single terrier or are they gonNA whiteside. He told me single Terry so he is die. I'm I'm going to start charging people on twitter for for his pick. I think I'll give them. They've been that's a. That's a great point. I'm GonNa do that tomorrow tomorrow. For sure. Let's shift to Diner Yeah Carrington starts tomorrow morning. I'm sure I'll post it on twitter. Whatever he cares. I don't pick all right sewer back to our interview. So switching dynasty forbid since we just work Was there players that you drafted more frequently like in your PC rookie drafts this past week. We'll call it the Futures the median. The mean. What's the other one bulky. Yeah median mean and It's does it start with an Amazon. Another M I duNNO MEDIUM BEAN NOT MEDIUM MEDIAN. Okay mean and Mode mode at the moment up there. You go who? Who's the mode and your rookie draft? Well I'm in twelve dynasty leagues and I really normally don't value the the first round draft picks as highly as others and so I only really had the twelve leaks only had four first round picks and two of them were the at the three spot and within the five and I got under In all three of those Neva's pleased to pick them up at the five So that that was one of my first round. Pleased with but most of my picks don't start till the second or third round but a player that I've really enjoyed picking up at all over. The place is Quinn safest with Detroit. he was the twenty third receiver taken in the draft and the only one that. Detroit drafted He he played well for Wisconsin especially after he got his legal issue resolved. And I've picked them up anywhere from five one to the seventy seven and I'd like to be Kinda value drafter and pick up those guys that You know are being a little undervalued like element in in the redraft and safest. There is some of the drafts if I didn't need a wide receiver I didn't pick him up. And he went. Undrafted the couple of the Rookie redrafts but I like him just for his upside and some of the pundits are saying that he's going to be the replacement for Marvin Jones when he leaves. So it He's he's kind of guy I'm looking for but it's kind kinda funny when I looked at my recap of of WHO. I've drafted it. Looks like a Detroit Lions Fan with my Marvin Jones Andrea swift and Quintas safest picks It's just sort of how the rookie drafts have been working out for we So far this year. Yeah I you know I. I got a chance to watch. A lot of sleep is The living in Wisconsin. I'll tell you what there's there's not really anything that he can't do. I wouldn't say he's elite thing but he he's a pretty good route runner. He's got pretty good hands he is. He's really strong. Guess I can say. That is a great locker. The you know the thing people knock him for is is the speed. But I think that if you Are Utilized right in your offense. I think that That you can be. You can overcome speed fairly easily especially when you have a guy like Kenny Golladay On the opposite side of the field so I actually like as late. Pick to in fact. I was actually surprised when he decided to come on early. I thought for sure that he'd be coming back to Wisconsin given depth that this receiving class in the NFL and he could he might have been like a third round pick next year. Who knows I mean? I guess we'll never know but he's got the chops to do it. All the Patriots do in this draft. They drafted two tight. Ends gave up some pretty good draft capital make sure they got both Dalton teen and Devon Siasi which one would you prefer on your dynasty rosters. If you decide you're gonNA roster one but didn't.

"Not GonNa tell you how to get in touch with us. I'm not gonNa tell you anything about our social networks. 'cause we gotta get going. We've already got four picks in to the genesis draft which we're kicking off tonight with our first a three live draft coverages So here's here's the draft order or the genesis draft tonight. Stewart Kean L. O. B. Twenty six or is drafting tonight. Followed up our Mike and todd. Aaron the mad genius of of Of of Football Hudson current picking third under the name. Truth Warriors Supreme Twenty-sixth here tonight dust and Hayek is peace and he is appropriately hitting cleanup tonight Drafting fourth got a pair of brothers. Brent Studebaker Stud Dynasty Twenty Sixers V. Brian studebaker the real men of genius is six the HALF MILLION. F F. PC playoff challenge. Champ Austin Martin is drafting seventh Under the team name see what happens. Same name he had for his Plan Challenge Championship. The fake tree huggers BIP LAB. Mandel picking eighth last year's defending champ of the Genesis League. Fantasy dumb dumbs twenty six or that's Robert Marshall and then Jake Felicia and Clint oester Miller have combined to form twenty six packer. They're picking tenth tonight at Todd. Todd boroughs is drafting eleven and Kasmin the north the twenty six or Brad. Who's Emma is picking twelve tonight? We are halfway through the first round and Well I welcome into diesel. Sorry I had to cut you off and on the intro but we gotta get going with the coverage tonight. Hey that's great Just happy that we didn't have ten minutes a promo. Yeah well that was. I can't do that tonight. Well the other thing to keep in mind tonight and this is going to be a breakneck pace. Sixty second draft clock for these classics this year. So we're We're GONNA fly by. Let's talk about what's going on in the draft. Dave as Stewart Kean. Kick things off with Christian. Mccaffrey no surprise from the errands as they take. Saquon Barkley Ezekiel Elliott. Is the next running back off the board Kern re and then Alvin? Kamara goes Dustin Hayek at the four spot thousand cook at five. No real surprises. There I guess as Brent. Studebaker takes him And then You have Kenyan drake off the board to real man of genius. That's Brian Studebaker. He takes Michael Town or he takes Kenyan drake and then the first wide receiver goes off the board. That's Austin Martin. Taking Michael Thomas Tight ends Have Been Broken here as a team that has led. Mandel apparently changed his team to sixty nine. The lab extravagant Kelsey there and then tribes Kelsey real life teammate. tyreek Hill goes to the defending champ. Robert Marshall's fantasy dumdum. So let's break this down here. I don't think we necessarily need to talk about the top five picks here as much as we should talk about that number six. Pick Kenyan drake. Is He a guy that you'd be comfortable taking at the One? Oh six if you were drafting in this format considering the running backs that were already off the board. I've high look a different direction but it doesn't mean I was actually surprised. I thought he was a chance. He's got him in the second but I looked at Drake's ADP and it's near the end of the first. So if you like trade. That's where you gotta take them. And I. I think clear clearly we can say is Bryan. Studebaker loves the drake. He loves the drake taking six. Yeah I mean. The risk of drake is he. Has you know kind of a little bit of limited area production and so you really going off of that and you're kind of assuming using to produce the same way could happen as you run into the same thing that happened to Jamie Williams last year you know. He had that limited run of good production. The before right and this past year was pretty awful until the super bowl right. Yeah what about When you look at the backups. They're either they drafted Benjamin. I believe he was a fifth round. Pick and then they'd have been seven seventh-round for venture when you're wrong okay. Well Day three in any event And then you have. You still have The other kid there. So thank you chase edmunds. I knew it was chased something As the backup are either of those guys threats to make this a committee in your opinion or is it the drake show there as he should be three bell cow back in your opinion. It doesn't seem to me. I mean I've been a player but you know it does. They cleared the board. They were David Johnson. So if offense is improved You know drake should have a good season if somebody says health and everything like that. I mean when you look at the possibilities It does make some sense and the thing is. They're not going to run the offense with Kaiser. Murray they're not gonNA run like Lamar Jackson or at least it doesn't appear that way you don't have as much of a Russian concern to me with Mark Jackson. That's always a concern there. Although they run for zillion yards. That's true but yeah it seems like it seems like their offense really the top ten. You could be could be pretty good. Robert Marshall Selects tyreek Hill at the one. Oh nine tonight Dave second receiver on the board. See the second receiver the board and your mind after Michael Thomas Considering what what we should see in Kansas City this year is they try to defend the super bowl title to me. I I would look at either chiller. Davante Adams maybe would omit hopkins because he's moving to new team. There's uncertainty there I I might. Julio doesn't enter the conversation Julio Jones not from equate that earlier redraft. But that's just my probably. I don't really draft okay. I'm actually drafted Adams in this case. It was the second wide receiver. He's he was pretty safe. There was actually an article on Rota world. I think it was wrote a world today about Davante Adams potentially leading the NFL and targets this year Because Michael Thomas obviously has to Fend off Emmanuel Sanders. You'll have a hotel. Alvin Kamara All season long And then tyrod kill obviously re-sign Walk Ins. You have hardman coming back Obviously Kelsey and now Quite Edwards Hilar- to deal with too so I don't know I think that's that's something interesting. That will We'll talk about going forward. Derrick Henry Goes to twenty-six Packer After the TYREEK HILL. Twenty six packer is Jake. The leash and Clinton oester Miller Joe Mixing right after him and then Davante Adams. The after mentioned Davante Adams Ends Round One. We have three receivers off aboard one tied in and the rest. Were all running back in round one. You know the chasing the helmet. Podcast Dave which I think The next episode you will appear on Scott Connors talked about how he's a lot of these early best balls and not that pc he's seen it goes so heavy running back heavy early and I I was thinking like well. That is true but once we get to these classics and the football guys players championships which you can register for it might affect PC DOT com I'm still seeing a ton of running backs. Go off the board and I facilitated one earlier this week and I feel like the first ten picks were all running backs before Michael Thomas. When at one eleven and this isn't just the first round. I'm seeing a lot of running backs go In the first round on this year certainly a trend that we will be following no question. George Ghetto the first. Pick off the board in the second round here at the two zero one. Two Chasm the north followed by the Andrea Hopkins. I think you made a really good point about Hopkins shifting to a new team You know his efficiency was down last year but his he put up crazy numbers again and I and I do believe he'll put up good numbers again this year enough to justify late first or early second round pick. I don't know but certainly Todd boroughs thinks he will Will as he picked him as the second player off the Board Mile Sanders. Let's talk about this because day for the longest time. The Eagles running back situation has been a running back by committee but they didn't really do anything in free agency. I know they re upped or they re signed Corey Clement And they didn't really touch it in the draft so it's like Mile Sanders in Boston. Scott is is the one guy behind their miles. Sanders could have a breakout season this year and as crazy as it seems to see him go at the two or three. I've been seeing him going in the middle of the first round two Mile San or is that a player you want to get into business with in the first or second round sincere I'd probably lean a little bit of a different direction. Nothing Sanders personally. I just I don't trust Philadelphia's ofensive whether it's the scheme the coordinator the coach. When is the last time you`re? I'm sure there's GonNa be able to say something but it D- do they have anyone. That's I mean other than Earth's but at wide receiver a running back. It just seems like it's always a quagmire. There's never the productions it's not there it's just a bust kind of the Detroit running game. It's like okay you gotta carry on Johnson. You got this job Andrea Swift. It's now you have to do about it. Just seems like it's just a mess. I it's almost like the new patriots and although stay all possible. Energy comes to bell. Count all that stuff I you. You have to pay a first round. Pick for to find out. If that's the case I'm GonNa let someone else make. Okay I mean if you look at Josh Jacobs goes around that spot. Just Jacobs doesn't have that concern. I mean the raiders. Are you know he's the Guy Right? The raiders are pretty straightforward. Gruden stupid looking and say Oh yeah Jacobs's great and that stupid man. Yeah he's GonNa do that so I mean it's just seems like Sanders. I just don't trust sanders. Okay all right well. That is the running back running back. Start for Jake deletion Clint oester Miller. They're sitting in the ten spot. Chris Godwin is the fourth received fifth. Receiver off the board. Excuse me as he goes to martial martial the only team to start Wide Receiver Wide Receiver in this draft. Mandel takes Josh Jacobs to go with Travis. Kelsey Austin off the Board to Austin Martin right in the middle of the first round a pair of Michael Thomas and then we have three straight teams begin the draft with a two running backs. Kenyan. Drake goes in the first round To Brian Studebaker and then he followed up with Aaron Jones. Dalvin Cook goes in the first round to Brent studebaker. He follows it up with nick. Chubb Dustin Hayek Cakes. Alvin Kamara in the first round. He gets Leonard Fournette who just had his fifth year option declined by Jacksonville today. more on that in a second. Julio Jones and Mike Evans then off the board is the final. Two or the blow The two ten to eleven in the second round and then the final pick of the second round is Mark Andrews going to Stewart. Keene interesting stuff. There as he starts running back tight end We should have him on the show and talk to him about that sometime more on that later. All right. So let's talk about Austin Dave two. Oh six for Ecuador for a guy who was among the top running back last year. No Melvin Gordon this year They still have Justin Jackson. They added Joshua Harris running back out of UCLA in the fourth round of this year's draft but seems to be Ecuador's Backfield Is He a guy that you would trust with the mid second round pick given that he doesn't necessarily have the body of running back? You would invest that much draft capital into Probably go different Russian. Nothing against him without Philip Rivers. There you know try doing all the drop off passes How how. How good is the team going to be? I really don't know I mean again it goes. It's the second round and it goes back to all the uncertainty and there's a lot of uncertainty around that team right that's true it is and and we don't know like is it going to be Tyrod Taylor is it going to be Justin? Herbert and I think that that will dictate how much action against the one thing I will say about is He got paid And they clearly want him to be a big part of their offense going forward and made them good football. Maybe and maybe he's the type of guy that carries that offense while tyrod Taylor is is not zing it all over the field like Philip rivers and we'll just herbert is is still learning the NFL. That's a possibility as well Who else did I wanNA talk about here? Mark Andrews over Zakar accurate scores in the third round mark. Andrews goes up to twelve Zakar. It's for the last four or five years has been among the most targeted tight ends in fantasy. Football mark. Andrews had a big time twenty nineteen season. But Dave is that enough for you'd WanNa Take Andrew overt or would you be betting on the consistency and the experience. I'd probably lean towards earth. He still is the Alpha Dog. There I know you know Scott are Andrews to me I wouldn't have been a few leagues and I liked him a lot but he seems like he fell off at points. You know last season head a bunch of games where he just didn't do all that great. I'm trying to pull up the status right now to sixty four catches eight hundred.

Emmanuel Sanders Brian studebaker Dave Brent studebaker Alvin Kamara football Michael Thomas Mark Andrews Dustin Hayek Austin Martin Robert Marshall Mandel Davante Adams drake Jake Felicia Andrea Hopkins Scott Connors Todd boroughs Julio Jones Josh Jacobs

"Show I'm driving home in traffic on the four. Oh five and Tamargo far did the entire show what he did all the way to seven o'clock and I'm like Oh. That's what it means to be the hardest worker in the gym. That's why he that's that's why he has a super bowl ring. He's played in the N._F._l.. Eighty seven mad and rate in the show yesterday I got some sleep and you get up and you go back to work. I'm an hour and I'm thinking man two weeks off after four hours. You know what I mean. You take blue. I don't actually actually so we know that on the not only is affiliated with George Sodano on the after show but he is also also covered the rams and he's out camping linemen and just years were the hardest working due to the station DEMARCO's football game. I you know I'm with you. I'd never thought of it. That way like the hall of fame game is the end of summer but to me. It's like it's like January. I I know it's the beginning of everything you know what I mean. We're starting in earnest. We can actually talk about football. There's football on T._V.. That's good stuff so the state of the rindge here. This super bowl hangover oftentimes has plagued teams around around the N._F._l.. More Times than not the team that loses the Super Bowl doesn't get back to the playoffs the next year let alone have a chance to win the whole thing yet nobody here here in Ram land. Nobody with the Ramle feels nervous about any of that staff or that's no possibility we'll go out there and walk around practice. If you ever we get a chance to go at the training camp. I encourage you to do so and just look at who they're starting the guys that are out there. They're all pretty good. This is a really good roster. This is the best roster I've seen since like all long roster. Not the same rosters been some in the N._F._C. West but the core is still there and it's young meaning jared Goff is getting even better. He's young. You're receiving core is young <hes> Todd Aaron. Donald is the best in football and he's still young at a lot left out there. So even McVeigh is just starting starting out as a head coach so you're still in the salad days of this football team and it's already pretty good so I mean most of those teams that like stress strive struggle to get to the super bowl some some of those teams at the end of the road by the time they get there. You know what I mean so I can see why that hangover would take over and you go backwards the next season I just don't see it with a young football football team so I feel like we're still ahead of schedule with the rams yeah in some ways and that football returning to Los Angeles the first year was so bleak leaking the bengals truly rock bottom at the idea of all right. Let's build it back up bringing a new young coach in new young quarterback. Let's give it a couple years to marinate and they you just really accelerated that process and we're ahead of expectations. I feel like years. Three of McVeigh should have been the year to be like hey now. Let's make a run well well. I think that's where Sean mcvay benefited from Jeff Fisher staff because you did get jared goff. You got his feet wet early. He got his butt kicked. He went oh and seven Kevin but at least he got experience so Sean mcvay basically took over a guy with some starting experience so you're not starting from Ground Zero. I think that might be the only thing for for Jared Goff haters. I wish he would started with McVeigh. Maybe the world would would see him differently. Maybe the perspective would be different because every time you talk about your Gothi..

"Live and on demand on the blaze Todd, Aaron and Shannon are standing by to tell us what they think about issue three the state of the union. Nancy Pelosi followed through on her promise to allow Donald Trump to give the state of the union address, which he will deliver on February the fifth. Here's what I would like to see in this speech. Loan moves the wheel of history. Have you ever asked yourselves in an hour of meditation which everyone finds during the day? How long we have been striving for greatness? Not only the years we've been at war the war of work. But from the moment as a child when we realized that the world could be conquered. It has been a lifetime struggle a never ending fight. I say to you, and you will understand that it is a privilege to fight. Warriors. Salesman of northeastern, Pennsylvania. I ask you spore rise and be worthy of this historical. Our? First question. Hopefully, it's better than that. What would you like to hear from Dwight, I'm sorry from President Trump onto tonight, Shannon. I'll start with you. I liked that one better. I like that one better than my answer. But listen, I okay, I'm gonna preface my answer with. I know this is unicorns in lollipops in this will never happen. But I took your questions seriously in to myself. What would I want? Honestly, someone like me I'm a skeptic when it comes to Trump. What would I wanna see him say at the state of the union, and I think her have it in my perfect world. He would get up, and he would acknowledge the failures of the last couple years of his presidency acknowledged that they haven't had a legislative win since since the tax cuts United and really, you know, own that man, say Intel the the the people of this country that he made some strategic errors in the beginning of his presidency aligning with. Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan rather than -servative base in that alignment didn't allow him to fill his promises on securing the border, repealing ObamaCare funding, Planned Parenthood getting where comic Corso and so forth and then make commitment. I think to the American people to to number one first foremost, even though they're not gonna be able to get anything done legislatively because of the the democrat control the house, absolutely build that wall. What every single effort into building the wall? If it means he takes the military down gets done ridge national emergency make that his number. One. Priority is number one two priorities should be changing alliance. Getting rid of all the Obama holdovers in his cabinet firing Jericho's Kouchner, abandoning his alliance with the swampy. Mitch McConnell types going in and fighting in primaries to win back the Republican House. I think that would be something that could rally the base yet. Even though he won't be able to make good on any of those other bigger promises e can get a wall built than he might have. Shot taking back the house and also the presidency, but alas again like I said that's Rambo's unicorns. I like urines better. It's still the same of the hard part about playing chicken his knowing into flinch in. I really keep saying that makes me wanna watch hunt for Red October all the mar- gotta rent that. Listen, he needs to have actionable steps on what he is going to do about Planned Parenthood. And when the end of the three weeks comes down on the budget extension, and what he will be doing. Then something that forces the Democrats react with more than rhetoric something that points the gun at him and says this is how this is going to go..

"Again, that's 'cause mo- hurts kids that com are back here on the dais group Todd Aaron and Shannon here with me on a Friday looking at the week that was let's get to issue. Three kill all the state of New York signed into law a Bill this week which legalized the practice of killing a child moments before it's due to be born capital punishment is not legal in New York. So as our friend, Matt Walsh pointed out crimes that earn. Earn you a lethal injection in New York rape. No child objection no child murder, no serial murder. No mass shooting no being conceived in the wrong womb. Yes. It was the reaction of pro-child killing activists after the Bill was signed into law. So Shannon because this is your home state. We're going to start with you reaction to what is happening there in New York. So Steve I have to admit, you know, this is one of those things that. The word despondent comes to mind for me. I've been despondent over this for the past couple of days. They had a good cry the other day because. It's hard to fathom the Gulf between the democrat party in the folks who pass that Bill in in people like ourselves who believe in sanctity of life in for them to do something so brazen, so vile to pass a Bill that legalizes the murder of children's infanticide an abortion up to any moment for any reason legal in New York state. And you know, it's time like these were you really just at least for me. I'm mourn, what has happened here in New York state, and we are in the belly of the beast here. But I have a larger point that I think is more important. But before I wanna let you know this Bill is worse than just the legal infanticide in the expansion of abortion. It also defines abortion is a fundamental human right, which is going to be very difficult for for life. Doctors polite, nurses, pro-life insurance coming at you know, gynecological practices. They are going to go after people who abstain from performing abortions. I think by the language that was MS milk addition allows for non doctors to perform abortion with no guidelines, and so you could have a situation here in New York with Gosnell style. The next popping up all over the state because there is hardly any any regulation or your goes in prison for basically the rest of his life for what New York just legalized. Yes. Yes. Yeah. In addition on it describes a person outside though, it decided to scraps person hood as being outside the womb in born. So if a woman is assaulted attacked raped murdered in to the nine month, baby. She's about to give birth at baby parishes in New York state. You'll no longer be able to prosecute that person for murder in the state because this bills it's disgusting Bill, but my larger point, you know, the thing that. Stands out to me, the most about this is the juxtaposition of a democrat trifecta of power versus a Republican trifecta of power in people wanna point at New York state right now. And I understand that we are in the belly of the beast here. This is where the battle is because it's cleared here. But but it's a sound into me twenty days. Democrats take power in the house or the the assembly the Senate in the governorship in twenty days. They pass a Bill legalizing the murder of children New York, you give that trifecta power to Republicans who know what we're dealing with in Washington DC for two years, twenty four months, they cannot even manage to defend Planned Parenthood. Not only do they not defend Planned Parenthood. They increase the funding to Planned Parenthood by twenty million dollars in the recent bills. In addition, they've restarted the the use of of baby body parts for federal. Research they begin funding again in one of the most recent funding bills. And so the idea you're who, you know, and I go back to Christ and who he called out, and I look at these Democrats in New York, and I know that they don't think about what an abortion is. They don't care what they don't have ice dec- or ears to hear shut their hearts off. Okay. And they both for this. And they don't even know what it really is right in when I think of them, I think of Christ saying forgive them where they know not what they do. But I had more anger to Republicans because Republicans know what this is. And it wasn't the prostitute..

I highly respect my colleague, but everything in his tweet. And this thread is one hundred percent fake news. Check out this exchange on CBS between Dan Crenshaw, some other panelists. Why always ask the question? Like like what like what is? He undermining exactly what what democratic freedoms have been under my which Senate election where we switched. Switch power in the house democracy is at work people are voting and in record numbers. I always ask for examples, and we can hit those examples one by one. And if it's an if it's worth criticizing it's worth criticizing. But just kind of this broad brush criticism that the president is somehow undermining our democracy wonder what exactly we're talking. "Caucasian or white countries, sir. Do you want people to come in from other parts of the world? Whether people have colored. First question. What do you think Democrats mean when they talk about using the house of representatives that they now control as a check and balance on President Trump? What do you think they think that means Nate Madden since you're covering the hill? Start with you. Go ahead. I think that it means that we're going to see every scrap of paper that has added in this administration subpoenaed every single political appointee is going to have absolutely no band with live for anything that this administration wants to do because they're constantly going to be responding to subpoenas summonses from the house, Sherry and oversight committee's. I think that's what they're what they mean by check and balance here they're going to be using subpoena power. They're going to be using the oversight authority of the house to do as much as they can to stymie really with the exception of federal judges and tax cuts. The only place that's making any real policy in the Trump era, which is the Trump administration. We think we think they think it means. I think patient. They're not interested in checks and balances progressivism is basically, we the reason I talk and we talk about notions of civil wars because their tribe is a hostile foreign power. They do not believe in the founding principles of this country. They are increasingly honest about telling you, so you know, that borsch video we talked about with shows the baby and said, you know, it deserves to be a choice that they're that brazen all the time that they really do not care about the constitution as the founding document the declaration in the constitution as they finding documents of this country. They just don't care. So if they don't care about that, they don't they don't care about the fact that we're supposed to have checks and balances they and this goes back to what we talked about before in which is why viewed as a wave, they they they are usurpers and they're going to use this opportunity. Not to check a but to take over to the extent that. They can it's why without even blushing. They talk so freely about throwing dumped Donald Trump out of office. Aaron what do you think they think it means? I think they think it means they're going to be the legislative equivalent of Jim Acosta, just gumming, gumming, whatever the heck they can up and just trolling the White House. All they can because of everything Todd just said that is that's why I chose that analogy in the in the introduction is because they are going to be with actual power. They are going to be the equivalent what Jim Acosta is to those press briefings and whatnot. They're going to be to this White House Caleb. You. With all due respect to the first three guys that spoke. I think we you guys at a really good job of describing. We think they think. And I'm not saying I disagree with any of you, by the way. So let me try the question again Caleb would do you think if you were if you were answering them, maybe I should make it make I should have worded my own question better. What do you think in their minds? It means to be a check and balance on the Trump administration. I I agree for in terms of consequentialist them that what Todd Aaron a Nate have defined. What will ultimately mean? But but how would they define it? Do you think? Well, I think part of the answer to that goes back to something that we were talking about previously with Michelle Obama. I just want to say, I think Harris is probably going to be very strong twenty twenty candidate. Because she is it's easy on the right to say, well, you know, she's she grandstands she acts like Jimmy cost, but she doesn't in congress that makes her seem like a silly candidate. But she's not think that she's exactly what not just what liberal voters are looking for. But this is what the what the congress wants to be. They want to be like, so I think she's going to be a strong twenty twenty maybe stronger than Michelle Obama, even if she's not that as likable. And I also just want to quickly note how hilarious that question was from Jim Acosta talking about how can you be America? First when you're rubbing elbows with other countries. Don't miss premise..

"For those of you that are listening to the podcast version of this later on I tunes, Stitcher, Google play Spotify at all if you have time today, if you like the way we do this leave us a five star review. Those certainly the more. They pile up the more people that find out about us. Now, if you don't like the show don't lie, but maybe just kind of keep that yourself. But if you like to show, we would appreciate one of those five star reviews. Also, even if you have time to write a review, do you have three seconds to click subscribe on your podcast platform. Because again, the more people that subscribed that helps to get the word of mouth out there for more subscribers and thank you to all of you that have done all of those things already wanna thank Heather Timmons for being with us here today this hour talking immigration on the blaze and crtv. She is the White House DC correspondent for courts. Here's what I wanna do in response to what you brought up at the end of the last hour because of the time allotment we have and because having known Donald Trump and know, many other politicians. I don't believe any of them are worthy of me using whatever little integrity. I still have left to defend them in their comments. I want to try and address is much of the substance of the issue as we possibly can. Okay. So you brought I brought in a real world example, like my stepdad and what's happening with immigration in his shop. You brought in. And it's interesting. So the conservative brought in. His his working class stepdad's sob story in a way, the the r u k would be labelled liberal progressive. I mean, the Atlantic. That's kind of what you are. Right. Okay. So the more liberal progressive person brought in her business, owner families perspective. So right away. Already. Grow Brenner mingling here recrossed the streams all right? I'm for the little guy you're for the business owner. All right. But here's. About businesses with, you know, spied employee's like, really. And that's most jobs are created in America are those kinds of businesses. I own this business. I own this show. I ventured out to the blazin crtv Todd. Aaron her my employees their paycheck comes for me now from the blazin crtv. So I'm a small business owner. All right. So. If if if I propose to your family members. That they go. They have to sign up by law for e-verify. They they would face punitive. And I mean, highly punitive penalties for violating it ever. Even on a first defense. All right and no clerical error excuses. Okay. And if they've got people in the country illegally who passed through the system who are eligible for permanent guest worker residency status because they've committed. No other crimes. All right. Would they sign up for that? Definitely definitely. And I don't want to give you the impression that they're hiring anyone illegal because as far as they know they're not really careful about it. Which is why we're talking about you know, trying to trying to dig up guys to work. I think so I'm sure they would. So I think that's yeah. And it just hasn't really been an option. Why do you think it hasn't been an option? Well, I mean, there's again what I was told in this was from the union the head of the ice union, and I do more reporting on this, and he's got his own political point of view. But he said that every time that they tried to get e-verify pushed around the country. It was a local chamber of commerce. It would stop them. You know, it was a state having having fought this issue in the chamber of commerce Republican people all over the country. I'm pretty confident he's right about that at that. Yeah. I just haven't done any other reporting on that. But so they would be happy to do it. You know, there's a my brothers in the mountains in Colorado. Like, I said he has a construction business. There's plenty of people hiring illegal guys there with no health insurance, and no nothing, and he told me about this horror story about one guy who I was gonna in hired by some other company fell off a roof. He died he had no health insurance. His buddies buried them out in the woods somewhere. You know, buried out in the woods who knows if his family, and that's an example of what happened to my stepdad..

"You just mentioned we did that same bike ride this year, and I said, a daughter too many Fred Hubble signs in these, the democratic challenger to the current Republican governor, and we are endorsing Kim Reynolds for governor. I want her to win. We're doing everything we can to help her help her to win. But those signs sent me a message then in a goalie and I think I texted back and forth to the to on this is the vice president was in town, and he was campaigning for Kim Reynolds and for David Young to people that I want to see get elected, a re elected, and there was two hundred people that showed up for vice president pants for David Young and Kim Reynolds. And I said to Donald when I ran for governor in two thousand ten in a primary, we brought Chuck Norris out and we had six hundred people on every stop in a primary. So for two hundred come out for the vice president. For David Young and Kim rose to me, that was a disturbing sign. But then just a day or two later Bernie Sanders was in town campaigning JD sculpting who's run against Steve king for congress, and I want king to be reelected. But there's like six, seven hundred people. Therefore Bernie Sanders in a in a district in a part of the state where there aren't a lot of Democrats, anecdotally, it said to me, we've got work to do on the ground and there's not a lot of time to do the groundwork that we need to have done. I'm still hoping that the demographics, the status taste, the numbers of states jobs. The climate Nile says, rental should be reelected. Young should be reelected. King should be reelected. But on the ground there, some definite definite signs of things aren't the way they should be right now. So, you know, I mean, you and I are good friends and have been for years you and and you know, Todd, Aaron work with me every. Hey, you guys know how heavily driven by data? Sure. But you know, one of the things I've learned this year, my football handicapping record as saying and, and it's because last year it wasn't that good and I had to fight to get over five hundred for the first time since I started doing this in college and I'm like, okay, so I don't know less. So I'm doing this wrong. What am I missing? And something very prominent football handicapper taught me this off season that I think goes into election analysis as well is the trend is your friend until it runs into human nature. Human nature Trump's the data. Okay. And so his point was, you know, the Michigan machines say, game over the weekend, Michigan state's history against Michigan matters until Michigan is just physically a lot better than them, and then it doesn't matter how tight the game was five years ago. There's such a wide talent gap right now that the games being played right now, it's not a, it's not a trend anymore so we can. We can get so insulated by data that we forget the human condition. And then you know the great prophet. Keith Jackson used to say, analyze his paralyzing. I wouldn't base my opinion on anecdote. Eleven. It's what I would want to look at is whether the data with the data tells me about what the antidoto evidence is the energy level you're describing. I looked at a few of the latest numbers out of Florida. For example, right before you came in and they've got that reysen Aaron had it in his montage..

"The podcast coming up in a moment, Robert Spencer from jihad watch as a new book from Muhammad to ISIS chronicling the history of jihad in the history of his law that's coming up a little bit later on. But Todd, Aaron are here with us as well for swell Todd could have you back big day yesterday. 'til the audience out went hope. That's nice view. Great. My big girl has been competing in the junior Olympic nationals which just happens to be here in damone this year. So we're but we're competing against girls from all across the nation and my daughter qualified to get here in a regional. She made it in the eight hundred fifteen hundred in the three thousand three thousand is yet to go, but she ran against eighty five total girls and the eight hundred from across the country and seventy two total girls in the fifteen hundred. And she too. Well, you have to finish in the top eight and she medalled in both finishing fourth and six so proud Papa. Indeed, that sounds like a pretty good shoes to miss work, and I appreciate it very much because man, those as the kids say these days, I had all the fields. Well, deservedly. So it's good to have you back. Of course, our podcast each day here for west and is powered by crtv. We just concluded production for today. Crtv show. Let's give the audience a little preview of what's to come. Go right back to you, Todd, what stands out? You know, Jim Costa's just in the today's press briefing putting up quite a fight about how a, how dare you call us the enemy of the people. I know that's pretty tough talk. If it comes out of a White House and win. Donald Trump's says things. We take it with a grain of salt, but set that aside. If you look at the behavior of the press just today in the last twenty four hours, you gotta wonder if maybe not all the time. But some of the time may be quite a bit of the time. It is in fact at least an enemy of some of the people. Aaron, I thought that Nate's Madden wasn't rare form today on the roundtable we did use, although it doesn't really take that much deduction, but we do once more. Just how terrible. Washington is and it's fun. I mean, at some point we talk about it every day, but at some point, once you get down into the muck and mire just roll around in it for a little bit and we did today too bright own it. Yes, it was interesting listening to him how it reminded me of you and Steve, having being on different sides of the frustration barometer. And here because it's his job and he has to tolerate on on some level. I, I gave up for a moment there. I had fun doing it, but you know, basically the revolution happened. I asked him, you know, we, we are not living in the United States of America anymore and use. He was kind of, well, if you look at it this way, I told them you have the patients of job to to to find the optimism in this thing because man it what a joke, if this is what being in the majority is why. We had Jim Jordan on our podcast yesterday and he didn't get a chance to hear that. Definitely go listen to it and he wants to be the new house speaker and I spent the entire the majority of the interview anyway, getting specific with him, meaning I, I don't need a question on his voting record. He's Kalugin ninety seven percent score at liberty square conservative review. I'm frankly not qualified to question him on what happened at Ohio State. I'm not an investigative reporter and he's had a litany of his former coaches and players come out and defend him so that that's really beyond my capability and grasp to go to that story. So my interest than what I think we could add to the conversation as if you were speaker and I kept asking this if you were speaker when we had the fake ObamaCare repeal repeal fights last year, if you were speaker, we had the on the bus earlier this year, if were speaker, we had the DOJ stonewalling. Congress right now, if you were speaker compared to Paul, Ryan would be different..

"We'll put raw on amc right after the walking dead than house at highlight right before he like them apples you have you have leverage there and go get voices that are that aren't on nfl sunday's that people know let's hear brent musburger say you are looking live at birmingham stadium legion field in birmingham alabama you know what i'm saying that go get voices people know that aren't currently calling nfl games kevin harlan is great calling nfl games on the radio but people that most people don't listen to nfl games on the radio another they've heard him do nba playoffs and he's fantastic go get somebody like him brent musburger and make the atmosphere big time todd aaron thumbs up thumbs down thumbs up thumbs up again number nine start your season the weekend after the final four the one thing mcmahon said last week i disagreed with is this is that they're going to start late january early february do not start this after the regular season or right after the super bowl because then what happens is you go right into march that should be the meat of your season bright but the entire sports consciousness in america is consumed by what march man march madness the two biggest days abetting in vegas every year are super bowl sunday dino number two is sloat on sunday in no it's the first two days of the ncaa tournament thought that first thursday and friday i that's the next to the super bowl sunday that's the biggest action in vegas you don't wanna get you you want it you don't want to give the network ancillary networks like espn and others you don't want to give them an excuse not to cover you to say well we've got this going on instead so the sweet spot is right after the final four second weekend in april start your season that have you noticed that we've gone from now now like every power five conference school and college football their spring games on television summer somewhere from early april to the first of may why are they doing that because those things draw ratings people were that's when we started getting desperate for football of why do they put the college football in nfl preview magazines out memorial day weekend and not july fourth weekender the first of august when the season's closer because by then by then half the baseball teams are out of it.

"Stan and tibbs they come from the same coaching tree with the riley staff and and the nixon i'm wondering how that adjustment was initially and how it is going now even in year to uh i mean obviously initially you know when you're trying to learn something super complicated especially defensive scheme as complicated as tibbs you know it takes time because i was already a rookie nasr only my second year you know i had no stability not for another four years leading up high school added coach college ahead a coach less than one year and and my first year tragically lost flip i was with sam mitchell in the now this year i'm what constitutes i've never really hata true defensive scheme the stick with you not always been adjusting on the fly so when he first came in united just really wanted to learn i took some extra time affirmed started earlier at each other just that dialogue of how he wanted to do stuff and how it should be done and now you know leading up tonight understand is a much better like any player you understand where you could really be yourself and play your own instincts in in or put your own in think into things and it's been amazing 'cause you know even with jimmy todd's aaron brooks you know guys have played for tubes for much longer period of time they understand the scheme so you know it is always worth ask him questions and be able to play off of them times when i mess up on defence ery would have helped me out because they understand where they need to be in the scheme so i go we trust that they're they're those things make a big difference an tibbs as an amazing defensive coaches amazing cocchi it gives us all the opportunities we need to win the game and you know when you have someone who's that passionate about winning who love the game that much in who's willing to give all his time to have us as prepared as possible that makes our culture better who makes us feel better knowing that whenever we step onto the court we've we've who were the most repair team in nba you bring have a great point because having played for stan ed tibbs of course same personality types i'll be delicate but the their personality types at times can be intense and and where on you.

"That is what the true irony here is a hub the harvey weinstein story if you haven't had a chance before we decided to have a twitter war with albi scher we're going to spend most of this time providing some context to a column i wrote about this today for conservative review it's on our facebook wall if you haven't read it i urge you to read it you can find it at conservative review dot com but just to give you the kind of cliffs notes version the film or the the column opens up by taking us back to the 2016 academy awards and the film that won best picture that night was called spotlight i know you've seen at todd aaron have you seen it i have not a tremendous movie it's great and the movie is about the quest of uh the media particularly the the boston globe took proven break open the long hidden abuse of pederasts and pedophile within the priest of the catholic church which they originally thought which is going on in their community and then of course this is a story that broke nationwide and the fill by the way of the kept the it's it is almost entirely fair in its portrayal with one exception that came out later but it's now it is it is wellmade and it it it's of every every catholica should take a look at it because it it's it's honest in its protrayal of what happened and.
