'This Isn't Like Watergate' Says Watergate Prosecutor Jill Wine-Banks

"Hide your wine banks. Good morning. Good morning, Stephanie Miller. How are you? I'm very fine and dandy on this historical day. I just have to read this part of the statement from the office of the 45th president for you. He said, what is the difference between this and Watergate? Where operatives broke into the Democrat National Committee here in reverse Democrats broken in the home of the 40th president of the United States. Your thoughts don't want base. Like that lamp. That was my thought. When I first heard that, I was actually on air as this was breaking. And I burst into hysterical laughter because it's so outrageous. I know that some people may think that they are only people who listen to Donald Trump because operatives did not break into his house and Democrats didn't break into his house. FBI agents had a search warrant to buy a judge, finding probable cause that there was evidence of a crime at Mar-a-Lago, and therefore they had a legal reason for going there. So it's not at all like a burglary and the night by former CIA agents were part of the bay of pigs invasion of Cuba. No, it's not at all like that. This is actual law enforcement. That's how law enforcement works in America.

Jeff Katz: We Must Stand up as Americans for Trump

"When you think there's hope. I think there's hope. I know there's hope. In fact, I know there's hope because I happen to be a person of faith. But I am looking at these series of incessant attacks on former president Donald Trump, and I am absolutely nauseated. You don't have to be a fan of Donald Trump. You don't have to be someone who voted for. Heck, you could get up in the morning or you know what I ate Trump. He could be your worst imaginary enemy. And you still have an obligation as an American to stand up and say, no. This is not what we do in the United States of America. This is not how we treat anyone, let alone the former president of the United States.

The Trump Bombshells Keep Dropping With Glenn Kirschner

"Let me just talk to you about this latest reporting this morning. National security experts are also shocked that signals intelligence was recovered, so it's not even just the nuclear stuff, former senior intelligence officials said during the Trump administration highly classified intelligence about sensitive topics, including about intelligence gathering in Iran, was routinely mishandled one former official said the most highly classified information often ended up in the hands of personnel who didn't appear to have the need to possess it weren't authorized to read it. Former official also said signals intelligence intercepted electronic communications like emails and phone calls of foreign leaders was among the type of information that often ended up with unauthorized personnel, such intercepts were among the most closely guarded secrets because of what they can reveal about how the U.S. has penetrated foreign governments. One person with familiar with the inventory of the 15 boxes taken from Mar-a-Lago indicated signals intelligence material was in them. I mean, Michael Hayden just tweeted Jesus Christ. That's what intelligence professionals are saying. They said Bill crystal said people ask why would Trump keep documents plenty of possible reasons EG this is pure speculation. Signals Intel on MBS and Jamal Khashoggi or on Saudi nukes are the kind of docs you'd want in case you had to remind the Saudis to keep the money coming, one historian said if it was you or I and not Trump or were in possession of top secret documents about nuclear weapons or signals Intel will you and I would be handcuffs in a very bright room with glam rock playing in our ears yet he plays the victim. Again, every time you think we're at the end of a bombshell, right? And I didn't even know what signals intelligence was until this morning, but that's another layer, right? It is. And you know what this proves Steph, it proves the folly of having a policy that says you can't indict a sitting criminal president because people knew he was misusing mishandling classified documents all day every day. That closes the danger to our national security and by all accounts we did nothing about it. Why? Because a sitting president gets to commit as many crimes as he wants while in the Oval Office with impunity. That's insanity. That's banana republic approach to government. And this highlights the danger of that, which is now come home to roost. I hope we learn this lesson based on this episode.

The GOP Are Scared of Their Own Base

"We were just talking about the dangerous repercussions. This is how pathetic this party is. House Republicans have been plotting investigations of Biden and his family if they retake the majority, but those plans have been complicated by the, yes, by the actual crime. Committed by Donald Trump, for some Republicans expressed concern about the fallout among the conservative base, the base has lost its mind, said one senior House Republican, and Trump decides to call them to arms. I think he could get another January 6th. This is what we've been talking about all morning, Dana. They are scared of Trump's base. This is how this party has become so pathetic. Eric swalwell said it's very clear Republicans have recognized they can no longer win with votes. So they're leaning in to try to win elections with violence and they're fomenting that violence right now. Jared Hoffman was talking about is they retake the house. He said it will be a show on steroids. Absolutely. We've got to get out and we've got to make sure that we get everyone out with us. The midterms are terrifying. We've got to keep the house. Yeah. Oh, I know. I mean, this is not only has this been an extraordinary two weeks for Joe Biden and Democrats in terms of what they've gotten done. Republicans will do none of that and we'll do nothing for you or your family or anything that they have already told you. It will be Benghazi and I'm not kidding. I'm not joking about they're saying we won't be Sarah Palin said Benghazi. We will do Benghazi and Hunter Biden. I mean, that's what they'll do.

Dana Goldberg and Stephanie Are Giddy Over This Week's Trump Raid

"Know what to say about how good this week has been and it's only Thursday still. I mean, it has been blissful. A G and I were talking about it on the podcast yesterday. She's just, you know, Trump's walking around going, I'm innocent, but which one of you has the wire? And then I said, but which one of you is bugged? Yes. Yes, Travis. Oh, we could say something on the safe. Mick Mulvaney was on scene, and this morning. He said that only 6 to 8 people know about that safe and Mar-a-Lago. Oh. Who could it be? Oh my God. It's like a game of clue. It's just getting. It's like mystery date, but better. Now he's going to be sad he wasn't there, Dana, 'cause the Trump lawyer said she saw ten to 15 FBI vehicles, including a rider truck. You know how he loves to pretend to drive the trucks. And drugs are a big trick. Do we have him doing it? I love big drops, Hong Kong. Doesn't he doesn't he always pretend? For photo ops to ride the stop reaching for the wheels, sir, you need to stop reaching for the wheel. Okay, she spoke to Trump while the raid was underway, and he expressed shock about the FBI search. This is massive job done right. Has required more than 1500 pieces of heavy equipment, one of the largest cranes anywhere in the world and look forward to seeing it. I love cranes. I love trucks of all. Not the rider trucks at the FBI. I took your illegal away and yes, this is but you know, the fact that he expressed shocking that this is what Mary Trump said yesterday, I think, is that this is the first time his life he's been without protection of the office of the presidency of the banks of his father. I mean, he's shocked because why wouldn't he be? He's gotten away with everything his entire life. But she's also said and we need to follow it. He's that list of inventory that he said he has. They're going to say they planted something. They were already starting to say that. That's what he's alluding to, and all of these will no one was there. The lawyers weren't there. The FBI agents had full reign. It's coming. So we all need to be prepared that it's coming. Yeah, I would say I was quoting Rachel Bennett offer earlier said, I think what we find at the end of the day is going to make our jaws drop as much as nothing you think nothing would surprise you about Donald Trump. What would be worth hiding and going to prison for for ten months? Jim Jordan seems to think it's golf balls. That's what they took boxes of golf balls and a raincoat. I'm like, he doesn't have a raincoat. He doesn't know how to use a rain umbrellas. So I'm sure that's not what's in the boxes, Jim.

The Left Is Desperately Trying to Stop Trump From Being Re-Elected

"As expected, the former president, Donald Trump has invoked the Fifth Amendment in his deposition in this witch hunt over overstating the value of the Trump property. I'll give you the details on that in just a moment. But he also released a very lengthy statement over what the attorney general letitia James is trying to do to him in New York City today. I saw an analyst earlier this morning and said, well, it's not going to be a good look. For Donald Trump, if he invokes the 5th, he pleads the 5th in this civil deposition. It's the only thing he should do. Don't give them anything. Don't listen. He knows he's got teams of lawyers. Who are well equipped to tell him how to navigate this. And if anybody can survive this and very few could, let's be real. Very few people could survive what they're putting him through. And it would be comical if it weren't so horrific for the United States. Two years after he leaves office and suddenly now comes Liz Cheney swooping in in the January 6th, two years. How long do you think it takes? To accuse the president of having documents in his home in Florida, he's not supposed to have. How long do you think it takes to make a case that he talked to some Pennsylvania congressman about January 6th? They're desperately a challenge you. I dare you to tell me that I'm wrong. When I say that they are desperately trying to stop him from being elected by the American people and none of us should tolerate this.

Law Enforcement Have to Treat Trumpian Republicans Like the Mob

"Talk to us about J 6 in terms of Scott Perry's phone. He said this morning while traveling with my family, three FBI agents, visited me and sees my cell phone. They made no attempt to contact my lawyer who would have made arrangements for them to have my phone if that was their wish. Prosecutors obviously preferred that to go the subpoena route if they fear evidence could be destroyed or not turned over. Same reason they got a warrant for Mar-a-Lago, right? Absolutely. They thought there was a very, very high probability. These things would be destroyed. They would erase the signal chats, or they would go through their phone and put it on a decal. In eliminate all history of these records. So it was very important for them to seize these quickly. So that there wasn't a criminal intent by people like, you know, you know, these people who have been who are under investigation for attempting to overthrow the United States that this is a level of criminality you see Enrico cases. This is how they treat mafia Dons and drug lords. And that's the level where Trump just took the 5th this morning and he is on record a zillion times saying only the mob takes the 5th.

Malcolm Nance Reminds Everyone That Warrants Are Lawful

"You know, warrants are executed every day. Hundreds by the FBI, the U.S. Marshals. You know, it means that law that judiciary has found adequate evidence in order to have your place searched waving the Fourth Amendment, right? Unlawful search and seizure. This is lawful search and seizure. And they can't wrap their heads around it. What they're really upset about is that laws are applying to Donald Trump and people like them. White people. And Malcolm, this is your area of expertise, national security. This is again none of us know all the details, but certainly the speculation is this is national security related. To get a warrant to raid the home of a former president, means, you know, this clearly was classified information as Joyce Vance just told us, I don't care what they say. They obviously didn't properly declassify it. They're trying to claim that now, but in order to get her do a raid, Malcolm talked to us a little bit about, you know, because obviously there's a lot of speculations. Are they selling the secrets to the Saudis to the Russians? Like, who knows, right? Oh God. Oh my God. Or they're documents which are implicate them in crimes that they classify. Yeah. You know? And they know that these documents are missing because there's a sequence of numbering one up numbering every one of those documents. And they're missing. And I understand, it wasn't 15 boxes they're looking for. 27? Yeah. I think 24, 27, 20 5 is what I heard this morning, but a lot. My understanding. They took 12 more. They were originally 15. They took 12 more boxes out of Mar-a-Lago so bring the total to 27. I'm sorry.

Celebrities Are Fake and America Is Obsessed With Them

"For Christ's sake, there's even a TV show celebrity game night, at least it used to be. I'm not up on network TV. I can't watch the shit. I think it's terrible TV. But on top of that, I hate it because all shows like this are just America's obsession with having to see how our celebrities live and play. We live in a sad, unimaginative era of gobbling up celebrity status. Here I am saying it and I have a podcast that dishes the dirt on these people. But there are so many networks, TV shows, network TV shows, from morning shows to late night, mid to afternoon to prime time. That have been given over to constant publicist pleasing opportunities for stars to advance their own brands, unchallenged, and pass off their self promotion as the very definition of fun. Celebrities no longer have to prove that they're talented, they mostly have to prove that they're always good company. The people we all wish we could hang out with, trust me, you don't want to. I did it for years and I finally left asking myself, why do I want to be near these people? Very few are interesting beyond their fame. Even fewer are sincere and real,

Newt Gingrich: Think About What the FBI Will Do to You

"Gingrich, one of our great American statesman. I've never heard Newt Gingrich I was watching his interview last night on Fox News. I have never seen him. So angry. I think you remember the sandy Berger incident. He went into the national archives and came out with those documents in his pants and his socks and anywhere he can stick them. Look, there's clearly a double standard. But I think what's even more troubling. And whatever American, whether you're Democrat, Republican, doesn't matter. Liberal conservative, it doesn't matter. If 30 FBI agents can take over the house of a former president of the United States and probable candidate for president, what can they do to you? And when you look at the Democrats who are trying to add 85,000 IRS agents to the already existing 77,000, that would mean a 162,000 IRS agents compared, for example, to 29,000 people that we have on the border trying to control the border. But the purpose of it simple. They want to control you. These raids, the kind of thing you talked about earlier with taking people off an airplane and chains, having people, a guy standing outside at three in the morning in his pajamas. These things are all designed to intimidate if this government can get away with third world tactics of worthy of Venezuela or the East German Stasi or Zimbabwe under Mugabe. If that's the future, then the constitution has a working document has ceased to exist.

In the early morning hours, a dawn raid, these agents armed to the teeth over 30 agents storming into Mar-a-Lago. And you better believe they were sending a message to all the rest of us. That they have declared war on every freedom loving America first patriot in this nation. And you better believe if they can do this to Trump, they're going to do it to us. And we've got to put a stop to this. How do we do that? We've got a unify the Republican Party. We've got a campaign like you know what? And we've got to go and vote on election day. The the last jet is currently in the process of turning it around quickly as possible to grab another 340 on the tarmac. Yesterday was really challenging. This is getting this from the head of our operations over in the Middle East. He said. It all worked out by the grace of God. Um one of our aircraft broke down on the tarmac in Kabul. We had to replace the battery and organize the passengers to get them on the correct manifest list. Confusion because another aircraft on the ramp had important passengers heading to another destination and all the names were written, apparently in Pashtu. Which none of us speak, but we had to get all of those names translated in all of the documents translated anyway, the aircraft took off after sitting on the ramp. It was fully loaded. We finally got the permission from the State Department. Um, we will. Um, he says everybody can talk about that. Um, our biggest obstacle remains the State Department and the White House. Um, we have senior officials not going to say where I'm not going to read any effect tensions outside of the gate extremely high. People are on top of each other. The Taliban continues to obstruct at every turn lots of concern today over IEDs going off outside of the gate. Contrary to popular knowledge, the Taliban and Isis hate each other. And Isis wants the Taliban to suffer and may do so via some sort of attack at the gates. That way they can blame it on the Taliban. Personally, I can't wait until we're all out of there so they can just kill each other. It would be fantastic if they would just spend the time. You know, thinning the herd of bad guys, I I welcome them. Unlike other administrations, I don't think we should arm them. But maybe that's just me. We will try to give you an update as things begin to move. Um, I know I can confirm that 700 Christians. Women Children. Families have now landed in a safe country in the Middle East, which will see the village will remain nameless. For their safety and the country's safety. Yes, our employees like it when their checks don't bounce like why are you smiling? Yep. Okay. We have to make a little but we don't have to. Our goal in life was not new cars. Bigger houses, bigger checking accounts. That is not who we are. We're here to make the world better. Different one family at a time, you know, And and we get passionate about helping seniors. You know, I just Had this widow on my my office. Two days ago, Her husband died. Suddenly he did all the finances. She was totally clueless, and she had a bucket load of medical bills. Okay, so We're going to do one of these new reverse mortgages for her wipe out her house payment. And now she has a chance to survive, and that's what we do for people every single day. Um, you know, I know that, uh, recently. Here you were talking to a client up in the steamboat area. They had a mega million dollar house pretty significant. And they wanted to do one of these new reverse mortgages to take equity out so they could pay off a house. So they could give it to their kids. That's right. Now we talked about it, and it was not the right solution. Okay, they needed to do a traditional loan instead of a reverse mortgage, and that's better for their family. And that's what we do all day long. Do the right things for the right reasons, and you'll always be happy makes sense. Okay, guys. So what's our phone number? 8772995500 in the website? My mortgage guy. Steve dot com. That's right. That was a test to see if she was awake. That was to let me take Katrina is such a joy to have in the company. We're so glad to have you here. And guys, you know if you're no. A mortgage person, If you are a mortgage person, you work for a bank that you don't like. And by the way, and none of my friends like the companies they work for. Okay. You got to give us a call because we have something truly unique going at 719 lending. Yes, absolutely. Like I said, I've been doing this for eight years and I am telling you this is my Work family. This is my home. This is where I belong. And so I don't know about any of you that are loan officers out there. But this is the place to be so I love it and I enjoy it. And you know, that's part of the My mission is not my commission is I love what I do, I thoroughly enjoy it. In fact, I was just at the Air Force's last weekend for my Air Force duty, and I was asked to take a position. I kept trying to call her. Where are you? OK, She's going to leave me alone. I'm at work. You know the curdles watching? Yeah. Yeah, I was at my airport's duty this weekend and I was asked to take a position there full time. I said, you know, I really appreciate it. But I really am happy where I'm at. And granted, it would be you know, it's more of a steady income and not a decent are not a bad income at all, actually, but I still am happy where I met. So if you are a loan officer and working at a bank or any maybe another brokered shop or correspondent, direct lender, if you have a little bit of a thought, Please just give us a call because I'm happy to tell you and And talk to you more about it. Okay. Down. One change gears again. Yes, Let's talk for a minute. We got about five minutes left in the show. Let's talk about vacation homes. Ooh, I want second homes. Yes. So second homes, vacation homes. They are a little bit different to qualify for. They have a little bit different interest rates. They are a little bit higher. Um, now you also need to look out for the, um miles a distance. You can't go and Say it's my second home when it's I don't know. 20 miles down the road across the street across the street, Same town in the same town, not a vacation home, guys. Correct? Yeah, Your second home has to be a true second home. And so second home could be. If you live in Colorado, you can go to Florida. You can go to Michigan. You can go wherever you want to go, and that could be a second home or vacation home or a rental property. A lot of people are buying homes up in the mountains. Here in Colorado. And that's totally okay. Absolutely. I think the rule is kind of like 50 miles or an hour. Something like that's going to be reasonable. That's right. And you know, I have actually, Steve done. A second home in the same town, but it was we literally know why. It was a second home. This scenario they have a home that was on a trailer park that they ran. It was their business. And then their actual true second home was just I don't know. Done. I don't know. Maybe 10 miles down the road, and that was their ranch. So they were able to have their horses and so on and so forth. So it all depends on of course, the situation right? Everybody has their own story. Hotel, So we just have to fit that story. Let's go through the scenario you want to. You want to retire? Rich? You're on a home first. You got to own a home. Now you want to buy a rental property or you buy a vacation home. Now you have two homes going up 20% a year in value..

I'm going to make a really long show today No well maybe i anyway. So it's been a minute since i talked to you guys and I was going to do show on mother's day. And then i kinda purposely didn't do show on mother's day because it's one triggering day for me and as some of you or many of you may know i don't know how many have you go back to the old shows But just refresh everybody's memories. Hi my name's dawn shreen Live in arizona in the white mountains with a dog now named tina who is a dancer and I still live in ramshackle trailer. Which is you know. Just it is. What gotta hate that statement. It is what it is because what is it but Anyway i making it making it more homey for me and the dog in the ever The ever growing amount of cats seemed to be finding their way here. And if Cats are aliens in catsuits than i am like seriously some kind of interplanetary. It's funny because i actually call my house the stargate and if you go on facebook and stuff and find me on stargate changing stations you know my house. So it's kind of ironic that that were to be the case that cats were actually aliens and catsuits and they're all coming to the starkey see anyway So i kinda purposely avoided doing a show on mother's day because Number one if it see. If if if it's at triggering to me than i'm guessing is probably that triggering t all where i guess i was going with. That was that. I grew up in connecticut in a affluent town with a narcissistic bipolar mother. On diagnosed Let's just that's my hindsight diagnosis. But definitely something not up okay. With her and My dad worked a lot to keep up appearances. Probably but also probably to Have a reason to not be home with my crazy mom. So you know what came first the Bad parenting or the mental illness or was it an interplay bowl or was it You know sexual molestation or was the Up abandonment issues. "In defacto that you know whikiss has to go through this change information in this transformation to be able to understand the other side of the coin and i find that we brilliant indus movie. How they're able to put yourself. I susan welcome out and he'd literally was put in the others. Yeah pin the other shoe by force and the ending. We'll probably skip in too much but the ending of the film is just so poignant because you don't know who he is i don't want to spoil the ending of it but you know the bad. Meanwhile he's just Oh no which one wicket says he could be any oppose alias. See how we could be any of those aliens as well and you so you know. I mean we are fans already know that we're all about spoilers spoil also urging. They saved them. We talked about each portion of the movie out of sequence also. So don't don't be afraid to just you know we. We touched the subject of the of the movie. And what calls to us and said what you said was very very very important in this movie because he found himself to be one of them. And you can't help to think but he might be the only human In this world the understands them you know he might not have gone through everything that they have gone through. But he shortly under which is also apparent when he was on the process of becoming Dorsey end where he's actually trying to help them. I it's kind of interesting because he went through the cycle. I mean one. The previous cycle to this was where he was feeling rage. Christopher because christopher says i can fix you and then he neglected to say but it's going to take three years and that moment you can see how he just you know kick him you know he got pipe. I remember what it was him over the head. He stole the ship he an even through. Yeah and he went in there was even part where he you know a little bit. Farther down movie weren't he's actually in exile skeleton and he's his running away even and i think that's the the the important fork in the road for him. Because he was scaping he was running away. He was being a coward and he's hearing how the soldiers were same christopher and one point. Because i'm thinking you know dude come on your next skeleton. Go help them out right and it's really going to. He's going to end up being a coward. This is the first time that i watched a movie in that moment. When he heard that he stopped and he turned around. And i think that's where thousand turning point for him where he finally gets it and i. I don't know if you guys. I'm going to hear your comments in a minute. But i think at that moment he. He came to a point where he thought. If i don't do something no one else will. Yep that's where he comes. He comes collectiveness of human as individuals. By when we ward in communion we can make changes but this anti-mine we had to do it at an individual level always. And that's why kind of message out he brings like. He didn't get it until he started. As for me to me. You look like he prepared attack with water to drown them but he ended up in attack water and everything was turned former more and more it was just a water getting a like throughout the whole transformation you had that desparation feeling like he's stopping and he's just so terrible for them and he ended up just being one of them but he's not even one of those you'd think about it. He's not here. He's now from their exactly. He's he's throwing limbo and the course joining going through that limbo. He got to see the feature on that side and iran he side so many levels yes it goes so i mean you know you talk about the when i watched it. You know you think. I the he's kind of driven by ana in terms of everything but realistically he's only in it for himself only wants to better himself you know. And he's such a strange one because he's the way i see is that the aliens are only that tact each other. Chris wants to make sure that he can get away to come back to look after his race whereas whikiss he only cares about himself because he misses the fact that his wife is now made him and his stepfather doesn't believe in him. We is he just wants to go back to how things work and he's not been going about. Maybe we can make change. I never see because think he saw fish and he is the main character. He's the main protagonist info. But as you say. Chris jackson days should really be the main protagonist. And that's how. I felt every time. And i watched it. I think the last time. I watched it was today this morning and i and every time i watch it. I just get that feeling this. You know all those advertisers being wickets. Christopher for me is to a main character protagonist. I entered the to fifty. He's doing the documentary. If i was gonna say he access incredibly shallow call play. Who does this. He is amazing the way that he goes. You know when you watch the documentary to begin with you. Think he's a good guy and you just lost after his family in the way that he transitions in the way that you feel about him as a character in the film goes he is so good at this felt. Yeah i in in. That is a good thing. You mentioned that because and and that's a mark of a good act. This is something that menu cars. I've talked in previous episode. How you know you you have. A story could be a great story. Could be a fantastic story. But if you don't have the right person to to make you believe in the story to force you to believe that what you're watching is real than you accomplish. Anything and i think he was great Also.

"How do you think like do you think more countries will adopt the same law? I don't think it's far away for the UK to be honest. I have to get jobs are not far away. I agree that they shouldn't how do you think no changes your strategy with sports games? Like do we just stop seeing them does all pointing get taken out or do they know something is 18 plus and everyone buys any way home. Ultimately won't get taken out, but they'll change it to make it and I hate to like gush more on that will be the show here, but they'll make it more like that where you can and Steven you can test this like you can very easily say do want to earn this card and there's easy ways to do that and that take time and a little bit ago, right, but but it's not like a forever grind but it's a natural grind the people who would have spent money property little spend the money. Yeah, that's right. So but I can go and I can just iron like today this morning. I earned 94 overall relief pitcher just by playing games. And that was it laid you there's there's so many ways to earn impact players that can really make a difference to your team in that game without spending a single dollar if you don't want to know if she wants to you can't but I think maybe nineteen plus is going to put pressure on them to make it more so different types of players can do it. We have somebody same play with like an angel who grinded up Madden made his mission to like build a super good team without spending a dime. Yeah, and he did it, but it was the only game he played off. Any player for hours every time? And I asked him when I'm like, well you ever did ask and you said no, it's too much time. Like there's other somebody wants to play. Well, I did the same with me for twenty one like so I probably played that religiously for about a month and like I'd plays hours every day cuz I have to cuz I needed to get coins from I don't know if you guys are places for 21 or I'm not sure if it was 74 20. I skipped a few Theses wage and but in fifth Twenty-One, there are two different like how was a tourneys like leaderboard mode see how many division Rivals and then you have Squad battles battles against division Rivals of the games like actual people and they both have leaderboards and the high-ranked the more coins, you'll get at the end of the week and then obviously you can buy packs or transfer market players or whatever you want. That's how I built my team and see for 21 and I played religious things like a four month, but then that I was so exhausted. I had a good team, but I was so exhausted. I have I can't go back. Cuz I know I'll waste my my entire year doing it so I can go back. Oh, yeah, and and you know Steven you're back in this house like the the feeling you get when you open packs like and you hear that special sound right when it's like a diamond player or a great. Oh, it's great. You're like, I want more of this so long, you know anyway, but what will get internet at a later date. I also like to Target some point about the coins Market to cuz I've as I've done more reading about that like that's fascinating and I have Thursday morning because I want to get into that.

"Did you learn new things? Everything every day I learned today this morning. Is it that the vast majority of DEA fellers in the Minnesota State Legislature are magicians? That's what I learned. Okay? Yeah, There's a sentence you to go on. It's like it's like magic it really It's like magic the way they create arguments. It's just out of thin air out of thin air. It's magic. How they could have they could take their own ineptitude. And then just go and say it's not. It's not us. I mean, it's not zero p, you know, And then it's magic. How the majority of the media goes toe hold. Totally. That's what they thought holds all I got to go see, it must be true. Should increase. Incredible. Ryan Winkler is nothing if not an Oracle of truth, joining us as he does on Tuesday mornings. We are very pleased to welcome Senate Majority Leader Paul It is up to good morning, sir. I did you is there. Is there a magician's class you can take before you joined the Legislature. Are they learning this on their own? We left last I heard the Democrats had the majority of the house of they can't pass the bell. It's because their side doesn't can't come to any sort of an agreement. We're hoping Senator dissolved. We're hoping you can attach least try to explain to us what twisted logic is being used here to spin the failure of a bill in the House DFL bill that Governor Walls wanted a bill that was supported by the governor. How that is. Senate Republicans fault. Yeah. I mean, that's exactly it's ridiculous, and I think what the issue is is some of the Democrats want. Theo talk about reforming police again and we passed the police accountability last year that I think made a lot of sense and all sides agreed to But the governor asked for funding to make sure that there is resource is to protect their streets. Some of the Democrats said no, we want more than that. And that's where it blew up because the fact is a Minneapolis cut their budget $8 million for Public safety. Their police forces down about 200 cops of the little over 800. So we've been putting pressure on him saying Look, our bill is going to say we think the streets need to be kept safe. We want the highway patrol the National Guard. In any mutual aid agreements. We want to make sure that any community that comes gets paid, and so I think that narrative is what we passed off the Senate floor. The good news, frankly, is the city of Minneapolis is now a put back about six million to hire more cops back and that's a step in the right direction. So walk us through the timeline of how this played out because I think you know, when you read the stories here, we've got a version from The Star Tribune. We gotta version from the reformer of Pioneer Press is all reported on it. And all of the versions really do seem to bolster the narrative that this is somehow the Republicans fault that it's that it's Senate Republicans that are preventing this deal from getting done. They've all pulled the same Ryan Winkler quote in the story. The reason the Melissa Hartman speaker, Hartman says the reason the bill was table today, but it was because we did not have a single GOP vote. But you don't need to be GOP vote to pass the bill, right? I mean, they got enough DFL is to pass it without any GOP support. So walk us through the timeline of what did the Senate do? What did the Senate passed? And what did the house then do with that? Yeah. I don't think we had a single Democrat voted the Senate side. We did have one of our independence that voted with us. But the governor put out a proposal for $35 million for extra money up front. To make sure our streets are safe. We said, Well, we don't really care whether it's paid up front or after we will make sure that the highway Patrol and the National Guard are paid for. We also wanted to say that the mutual aid agreements that the the that they're responsible for paying those they hadn't paid some of those bills from the last round of riots and he said, that's unacceptable and part of the reason that police weren't agreeing the mutual aid agreements to come. Was because of the total lack of district or the disrespect that they had from the city of Minneapolis. Now I'm talking about first the leadership, the City Council. That's the group that I don't think really deserves. Any resource is here. If we're trying to keep their streets safe, it's not money is not going to go through the city of Ma'an Minneapolis, which is better Has been very dysfunctional, but on the House side, then they couldn't pass anything. They couldn't pass the budgets for the governor's request. They couldn't pass a version that representative Mary Anne had with a bunch of other things that were required upon the police force, so they couldn't get anything done, and so we have to wait for them. You know, and then the two sides come together and you try to work out an agreement, but they don't have anything to pass. So there's nothing to agree to write. Write. It seems to me and correct me if I'm wrong here, But in my reading of this and reading of the quotes and and following along on Twitter yesterday of people commenting, it feels like that. The biggest stumbling block for for a lot of the DEA fellers in the house was The fact that this that portion of that $35 million would go to law enforcement and they simply do not want any money going to specifically the Minneapolis police Department, it says. Here in the This is in the reformer version of the story..

Believing that Beta will not have nearly the impact of a major hurricane, Senator Ted Cruz is urging his colleagues to act swiftly on President Trump's Supreme Court nominee. "Today good morning everyone I'm John Matthews the DC region is coming off its deadliest days so far with one hundred two fatalities reported yesterday to bring the total to one thousand ninety eight in the covert crisis the rise in deaths has been expected is they generally lag behind a drop in cases officials are now looking to see whether a pattern of declining new cases develop so they can consider loosening restrictions Virginia has seen its number of newly reported cases drop for three straight days the first time that's happened we've seen other states getting itchy to re open now Virginia is feeling the pressure again with protesters rallying in Richmond to re open today it's been a little more than three weeks since governor Ralph Northam issued a stay at home order we open Virginia's Dave brat says if it remains in place until June tenth as planned so the second thing will lose between twenty five percent and forty percent of all small businesses and will lose over fifty percent of all mom and pop restaurants not he says they're not advocating flipping a switch and sending everyone back to work right away we've got a phase it in to keep the health risks in mind for example it has restaurants could open to a limited number of in house diners heather Curtis on WMAL in W. I. "Here today this morning I spoke with the leaders of the G. seven G. seven nations and they really had a good meeting I think was a very very productive meeting I also spoke with our nation's governors this afternoon we're announcing new guidelines for every American to follow over the next fifteen days as we combat the virus each and every one of us has a critical role to play in stopping the spread and transmission of the virus week we did this today this was done by a lot of very talented people some of whom were standing with me that's available Dr birds will be speaking about that in just a few minutes it's important for the young and healthy people to understand that while they may experience milder cinders are symptoms they can easily spread this virus and they will spread it indeed putting countless others in harm's way we specially where about our senior citizens the White House task force meets every day and continually updates guidelines based on the fast evolving situation that this has become all over the world it's all over the world it's incredible what's happened in such a short period of time on the guidelines of the task force the new modeling conducted by Dr Burks and our consultation with governors we've made the decision to further tougher the guidelines and blunt the infection now we'd much rather be ahead of the curve then behind it and that's what we are there for my administration is recommending that all Americans including the young and healthy work to engage in schooling from home when possible avoid gathering in groups of more than ten people avoid discretionary travel and avoid eating and drinking in bars restaurants and public food courts if everyone makes this change your these critical changes and sacrifices now we will rally together as one nation and we will defeat the virus and we're going to we have a big celebration altogether for several weeks of focused actually we can turn the corner and turn in fourth place a lot of progress has been made I'm also pleased to report today that a vaccine candidate is begun the phase one clinical trial this is one of the fastest vaccine development launches in history not even close were also racing to develop antiviral therapies and other treatments and we've had some promising results early results are promising to reduce the severity and the duration of the sender of the symptoms and I have to say that our government is prepared to do whatever it takes whatever it takes we're doing for doing it in every way and with that I'd like to just introduce doctor Burke who's going to discuss some of the things that we strongly recommend thank you thank you Mr president I think you know over the last months we've taken very bold action to stop the virus from coming to our shores and because of that we gain tying to really get together and understand the progress across the globe of what has worked and what hasn't worked we now need to appeal to every single American so that they have and have their role in stopping the spread of this virus we've talked about things before about washing your hands but we really want to focus on if you are sick no matter who you are please stay home if someone in your household is diagnosed with this virus the entire household should quarantine in the house to prevent the spread of the virus to others the reason we're taking these strong and bold steps his because we know there is a virus spread before you develop symptoms and then we know that there's a large group we don't know the precise percent yet that actually is a symptomatic or has such mild cases that they continue to spread the virus if your children are sick please keep them home now to our older population or those with pre existing medical conditions everyone in the household needs to focus on protecting them everyone in the household I want to speak particularly to our largest generation now are millennials I have the mom of two wonderful millennial young women who are bright and hard working and I will tell you what I told to them they are the core group that will stop this virus they're the group that communicate successfully independent of picking up a phone they intuitively know how to contact each others without being in large social gatherings we're asking all of them to hold their gatherings to under ten people not just in bars and restaurants but in homes we really want people to be separated at this time to be able to address this virus comprehensively that we cannot see for which we don't have a vaccine or therapeutic the only thing we have right now is the amazing ingenuity and compassion of the American people we're appealing to all Americans to take these steps to protect each other and to ensure that the virus doesn't spread these guidelines are very specific they're very detailed they will only work if every American takes this together to heart and responses one nation and one people to stop the spread of this virus thank you.
