"Row like it seems like now you have no chance of winning no matter what you do and i think it's just taking the wind out of the blue jays sales like going back to that boston series series before that i i think. Even though they were losing some games right they lost to afford. It looked like they were fighting to me in this yankees. Are it just feels like it's it's like a fait accompli. Like when you play a game you're going to lose. It just feels like it's automatic and like the wind has been taken out of this team sales. And i don't know how you solve that i don't know i was confident heading into this baltimore series into this miami series at the blue jays. Were a good team. They would bounce back. They would get the luck of these e schedule now even against these teams. I don't know if that's possible or at the yankees had been like what five and fifteen in their last game before coming into this series. They i think they lost two of three to the twins or maybe they won two of three but against the twins. You should sweep them all the time and yet here we are and they sweep the blue jays. It's just. I don't know. I don't know it just feels like they aren't fighting anymore like they aren't even trying to win and as alec. They're not trying to win but they just can't wait no matter what they do. I don. I don't know how you solve this One of the sad things is. I'm starting to notice whenever there's a misplaced on anywhere in the field. You're starting to see guys shrug their shoulders and kinda throw their arms and hit their legs with the you can tell that. They're frustrated like obviously nobody's gonna completely show up their teammates. That did happen in the series but i mean russia He he owned it need. He said he was embarrassed by it. But other than that. Like you. See tj zoe through a throwing error in. I think it was like the first inning baldwin into the field and you see margaret simeon. Kinda shrug shoulders and go get like what's going on here guys like that at some point. You're starting to see guys get frustrated and watch them. Come off the field after that triple play. And they're just they're they look like they. They're just frustrated. They're fed up. And i don't blame them. I mean as fans. I think we're starting to get fed up. I can only imagine what it's like to be on that field and it's you know it's a it's a sad thing. He obviously technically. They were the home team in that game. Earn in all three of those games. But i'm sure they don't feel like they're truly at home. This is in toronto. And it's just it's it's a weird situation. They're like yeah. We're on the road. We're not playing well and they're just they're starting to get fed up with it and one thing i. I believe it was joe. Sit on one of the pregame postgame shows but he mentioned something that was interesting and he said at some point all these players on the field the position players when they see a guy come in to come into the game from the bullpen. Eventually they're going to start cursing themselves internally. Nobody's gonna say anything out loud. Like why is this guy coming out but you gotta think that at some point these guys are thinking like come on like get it together. Why why do you have a six..

"Planned he never would have been a starter for the blue jays so to me what he's doing and kind of a stop gap role filling the void for the blue jays. It's acceptable. I don't know what more we expect of him. Going three point two innings giving up three runs. I think that's good enough. I think offense in the bullpen should be able to bail you out in that situation. I understand the expectations for stripling. Should be lower. And i i agree. I think he's a better reliever and even going back to you know his career. Ira is below four. Which is solid. It's a three hundred eighty. Ira and obviously you know either way what he's done so far it just. I don't know if it's been enough but as much as he has been unlucky though at times is Field is independent. Pitching is at four forty so that also proves that he's been a tad unlucky. And i think that i think that's pretty obvious. But either way him staying long term in the rotation definitely definitely out of the question. I completely agree with you guys. And even when you look at the longman right now in this bullpen. You have you have anthony. K who just recently moved there and then you have Who else do you have. You have one more guy. I believe it was trent thornton. That's where it was and then even when you wanna look at aaa buffalo's rotation the only guys right now. I think that could be considered like for the time. Being right now would be tj. Zoe coup has already started a few times this year and is also someone like jacob wagons back so depending on how they perform. I know there is a top prospect right now who dominated his first outing. But i think it's a little too early. But i'm just saying if this continues with injuries. We already discussed this. Never say never but right now on the state on mayton. Tj's roy wagons back to other guys. I guess you can consider trent thornton of course but yeah it's just ross stripling. I think i don't know how how much more he starts. But he's definitely he's definitely better than what we've seen so far and i think that's why fans are a bit frustrated. I'm not saying we're expecting him to go six scoreless or seven scoreless every outing but definitely a tad better. I know he's been on lucky but either way it's just been a little disappointing from him but obviously we do after. Remember that he wasn't supposed to be pencilled in this rotation like met jacob. You mentioned. He wasn't so him as the longmen in the bullpen would definitely be good and i've always liked ross stripling better as a reliever anyway even going back to his days with the dodgers because seen a lot of them because of this the the success. The dodgers have had in terms of the playoffs and everything. So i'll let you know everyone's familiar with ross. Stripling hasn't even last year when he came out of the bullpen with jays after they acquired him i just it seems that he's more comfortable coming out of the bullpen for sure..

"They can't risk the future of alec manoa putting him up into the major leagues too early. Even if say maybe the team would benefit from just getting those innings out of them. I still think that the plan is getting working through everything that he needs to before at at minimum next season i'm still saying zero percents see if in aaa i i just have a hard time giving him zero percent because he's so close to one level away from the job however i still think it's unlikely but if i give it a percentage i'd probably say thirty or thirty five percent. I don't think it's possible. I think it's possible a lot of stuff have to happen mark. I agree with you but if injuries pile up and you know for example. I know this is crazy based on the amount of injuries. They've had but if this somehow lingers in the jays are desperate or in need of our desperate need of arms or anything like that maybe the bullpen burns out and they need options. You have to consider you have to end. This is talking about later on in the season because of course you want to see him pitch games in aaa before. You even consider it so right now. Like i mentioned are using a five man rotation you have nick al-bir alligator i think that's how you pronounce correctly. Alec minoa tj. Zoe who we've seen this year. A few times and jacob wagon so those that's the five man rotation open up for the bisons but alec manoa you gotta give starts or a few starts before you even consider it but i'm a little bit surprised because i thought some like for example swimming woods. Richardson starting aa for new hampshire. And i thought for sure those two would both be in aa. I guess we were all wrong. But i guess that just proves the spring that alec manila had jays really liked what they saw. And you have to consider this in excel ration- of if is developing east skipping all those levels and starting right off aaa i know. He was the first round draft pick from last year or a couple of years beforehand. But i guess the jays really like what they've seen. And i'm all for it. I trust the development plan of how ross atkins power have done. Things based on their track records went back to cleveland and so far in toronto with for example. Bogus guerrero bijou. All these guys look how they've developed improperly developed. I'm all for whatever they decide because of how it's turned out but if he's in aaa you have to give it a percentage that he will be up here at some point..

"Oh it's a massive blow to the rotation if this keeps up i don't expect it to. I think it's something that it's going to be working with along the way and so pete walker and robbie ray are going to work out a lot but so far it it definitely would be a massive loss because we know the story entering the air he was slotted at the number two spot before he was injured and now we when he comes back he arguably is still number two on the depth chart. I know it's all kind of messed up in terms of the scheduling right now. Jays actually have a four man rotation tj. Zoe came out today. And that kind of i guess sets up a bullpen day for wednesday. Believe charlie when toyo already confirmed it unless anything happens last minute. Anthony case has slotted into the rotation for the time being and really the only people that have been consistently performing are hundred rio and stephen mats. So how much more of a difference is a makeup robbie rate shows up and pitches out at a. I guess an elite level or at master even just at a good level assault level where. He's not walking guys in still not allowing runs. I know today. He didn't allow any runs today. But we all know that if that were to happen again likely eight. To nine times out of ten. It would have gone a different way. We were tr. He was tremendously lucky to allow nothing. And walking six guys in five innings that is a concern for the long term and. I do think it's something they can fix. But if he's not there and performing as we are hoping or expecting them to be. It's a massive lawsuit rotation for sure napier and is expected to come back. And i guess that sets up a fifth man roster openings in a comeback and you really don't know what you're gonna ross stripling you know what you're gonna get. You're not going to get the greatest numbers you're not going to get the worst numbers and pearson's just a question mark right now in terms of his workload. I guess his recovery..

"Roy was a pleasant surprise today. You know he actually kind of pitched well. And i can see your face bryson. And you'll disappointed that it turned out that way but look. He came in had to clean up a sticky situation room. Tj zoellick pitched one point one innings. Didn't give up. a single hit. Walked one batter struck out one so obviously not great there but he didn't give up a hit. That's you gotta be happy with that. I think he has maybe talking about reading too much into small sample size. But maybe is cleaning himself up a little bit maybe can be better out of the bullpen. I'm hopeful i know it's impossibly small sample size but i'm just gonna say when ten robert came into the into the game he threw six straight balls which okay not the you know. That's not the reflection of his truck. He had to warm up. That's my point though. It's with when you're only pitching an inning and a third or two or three innings you got to be on your game right away so i don't know i i know i said i want to anaerobic released. But i'm not the one in charge so i'll just. I'll let the managers do things. And if i don't agree with them then criticize it but at least today it worked out. I don't think tend to work was awful today tj. Zoe unfortunately gotten an unfortunate circumstances but work was decent. And i guess if he was vocal about high. Don't want on the team but if he's able to come back from that and be decent out of the bullpen than i'm willing to give them a shot. I guess i'll side with mark a little bit on this one. Well i always saw putting him in the bullpen. Was the right thing to do to try and get the best you can out of them. I'm not going to be too much. It was performance so far out of the bullpen. But i think you know what i think kim describing himself as a diesel truck maybe like the most accurate statement ever because even his very first appearance out of the bullpen. Believe he'll out a few runs right off the top So he started off slow. Yeah it was. it was two runs. They weren't earned runs but still This was the thursday night game in kansas city Th it was thursday or friday night. It was the thursday game because friday got rained out. So there's an i that happened and of course today when he showed up Couple like you said jacobs six straight walks six straight balls start his appearance so maybe he is a diesel truck but He came out in two nothing game. So you know. I just don't think they have anybody else right now. I'm not gonna read be too much into it but I'm willing to give them a shot as as a reliever as i've said the past couple of weeks i just don't know how much i'm going to look into this so far but it could be worse. That's the one thing. I'll say it could be a lot worse so i guess so. Far it is a it is a win for them in terms of his performance. As a reliever you guys are turning me into. Tanner roark fan here. Am cheering him on every single episode. I just want him to get more time. I think we were a little bit rushed for judgment. A lot of people were so anyways another name in today's game..

"So the fact that we've seen matt's be able to translate that performance across to regular season gives me extreme hope for robbie ray and like i said best-case scenario robbie ray comes back. He's who we thought. He is in spring training right. He puts up similar numbers to what he wasn't spring training. Stephen matt's keep selling doing this review is re you and then you throw tj. Zoe can ross stripling two times a week. That's a pretty good situation. And then they pearson is gonna come back eventually and then maybe you throw bullpen. Deo there and we know some of these guys in the bullpen long arms. They've been doing pretty good this season so far of course some struggles along the way. But that's the best case scenario Stephen matt's plays a large role in that. And i'm very hopeful and happy with what he's done so far this season yet and the thing was to mark. No you know the thing would ross stripling. He's come out and said twice now that he he's happy with what like how he's been throwing and he thinks that his stuff there you know maybe some Unfortunate you know ways that his starts have gone. But yeah i'm not worried about stripling. Also i just obviously we wanna see more out of him but we know what ross stripling brings and that's why it it's you know i'm not. I'm not concerned russia. I agree with you on that one. But you know the fact that he's coming out and saying that he's happy with how he's throwing his while he thinks he's throwing well. I think that gives you optimism as well as that. It's eventually going to start going. His way or at least the numbers will start showing that so i i agree with you on that one man just wanted to get that in there also. I think we should mention or at least be aware of the fact that he only pitched five innings in his debut an three and a third and a second start so numbers are going to be a little of the rear round. All go either way. He has not pitched a lot of innings so numbers. I think are a little bit exaggerated because even if you allow two runs over that that's going to vary drastically influenced your ira so again. It's early i think with with roster bling. It's kind of the opposite of tanner. Orcas we do need a bit more time to to really get an opinion on him and he. I think he does deserve more. Not more of a chance than than ten are but at least has a bit longer of a leash. I think the blue jays have been more leniency with him and they have them. I think this is an next season so might as well get the use out of him..

"And i believe it was a three to count that he had him on. And most of those balls were from the breaking pitches he finally did throw a fastball. Blew it right by. And so i'm not sure how much we can say. I mean he's going to work on things. I think he will still be very elite pitcher. But yeah i guess going into the season. I didn't expect many jitters or many things that needed to be ironed out. But i guess that's where we are. And i'm not worried about joyner. Mono or raphael think rebound. Just fine and be the pictures that we have expected them to be on top of some guys that have now proven to be elite on top of them for sure and you know something similar to going back to i guess last opening day as dulles had a shaky start as well so maybe that's just something you know something that's a coincidence or not but of course. It is the overreaction for the opening weekend and yeah people who are writing anything off like that. He'll be fine he will be fine and him and romano's well ramana will be a lot sharper meriwether pretty sharp and You know we had a new a series. Now where you've seen tj zoe pitch you've seen hundred raves in ross. Stripling a now Tomorrow or monday in texas. You see stephen mats. And of course on tuesday it is diesel truck season so You know a few more things to kinda see plays out but Yeah i i'm just. I was really impressed with the way the team played and this lineup looked scary. Not everyone is even clicking yet but you know they are doing. They had a decent opening weekend for sure. Obviously not the greatest but they weren't horrible and You know some people still stuck like we mentioned already and some people still get going but Once this team kind of comes fully together offensively. I think it's going to be forced to be reckoned with in pitching. Who knows how it's going to start. We know people like robbie. Ray are napier's from getting closer which we'll talk about later on but So far the in three starts. It's been decent so nothing to concerning at all pretty much right now and a lot of good things to take away from but an open and exciting opening weekend. I really real opening weekend since two thousand nineteen so it definitely feels good to have baseball back in april so You know. I just can't wait and all the excitement and all the talking from the off season is finally passed. The so we're now we're Were into a twenty twenty one regular season which is very very excited k. Last thing i want to touch on the pitching before we moved to the offense and defense which you alluded to prison we did see at least in thursday's game in saturday's game a little bit of a different approach in terms of pitching management from charlie montoya. The blue jays. Al east on thursday higher engine. You get into. I think it was a seventh. Did he record an out in the seventh. Which was you know insane opening day of all days for a pitcher to go deep into a game when they aren't totally stretched out that was encouraging to see..

"A series win against the new york yankees. Hello and welcome to episode one hundred and thirteen of section one thirty eight. I'm your host mark collie as always joined by bryson and jacob guys. What a series. What a weekend Obviously two to three the blue jays taken new york and It was just a spectacular series opening day weekend. Nothing beats that and it's good to see the blue jays back on there. I feel like this is the best case scenario right exactly it was. It was an awesome series. I think the one thing that i should say is somebody needs to tell me that this is not the american league division series because i my heart rate was constantly above one fifty watching those games. But you know what. I'll take it. It was enjoyable. It was it was awesome to watch. Yeah that first game. I mean like the to up following games. I feel like they weren't as exciting. But yet the opening day jitters but then you also have the fact that you know it was tied to to have some crazy base running going on in the ninety s. Some incredible defensive plays you have the blue jays scoring and winning in the top of the tenth. It was a crazy game and bottom line all weekend. We had some awesome things going on with the blue jays. It was really great to see. The first thing i want to talk about is kind of how unexpected this series was because i feel like going into it we know the weakness of the blue jays is obviously the starting rotation we know the weakness of the yankees starting rotation and the bullpen right now while missing a couple of guys in their bullpen. Pitching weakness of both these teams. And i don't think we went into this series expecting a grand total of seventeen runs being scored total over the three games. So that was. I wasn't expecting that at all and it it. It meant that the series didn't go the way i thought it would. I'm happy the blue jays came up to two one. I'm happy that the pitching showed up and so far. The rotation has been exactly what you wanted to be. I was just really surprised by that. I'll be honest. I was extremely surprised about the rotation because with re we know what we're getting but when you look at ross stripling he obviously. He didn't last as long as three and a third in his first start with three earned runs. But i wouldn't say that. That was absolutely terrible. Start because he just the amount of runcie He allowed was just equal to the amount of innings. That's why is your as a little high. But i think he in his next start could easily go four five potentially six. I was good especially with tj. Zoe four scoreless he was he was fantastic. He couldn't qualify for the for the win today because he didn't pitch five but starting rotation was fantastic Or at least..

"Thomas hatch trent thornton. Anthony k tj. Zoe so there's so many different options and realistically most of those names are are going to either end up in the bullpen or in the minors or whatever whatever the case may be the season But i think malone probably has the advantage here he definitely will look like i said this earlier if he doesn't make the rotation. It's going to be minors or something else. And i i do think he does have the benefit of the doubt in the situation because he is a lefty. He is a veteran and it. Just it only takes a couple really good outings in spring training for the blue jays to say you know what maybe he is. Back to those Those early career numbers where he was still high threes around the fours but he something that could definitely improve the bluejays chances and make the rotation a little bit better than the mess that it currently is right now. One argument that. I've heard from some people trying to justify The blue jays rolling with a rotation. That's very uncertain is that they need to get some of these guys playing time. Like anthony k tj. Zoe they have to get starts at some point and this year is kind of the last year that you can roll with a bit of uncertainty. I mean the blue jays from this point forward are really all in on winning games and this year in the rotation might be one of the last opportunities. You have to say okay. We're going to see what you got. Tj zoellick we're gonna see. We have anthony k. We're gonna see if simeon woods. Richardson is ready in the majors. So one argument. I've heard on. I mean i heard on the letters arden's volume ben. Nicholson smith talking about it. But they said like like one of the benefits of having her there is that you can put young guys in that role. See how they do. This is kind of their last chance to prove it does bring up tommy malone and putting him in the rotation is that a bad thing because it takes away playing time from some of these guys. Personally i don't think it matters. I think the blue jays are already passed that stage and they need to put their best foot forward. So i'd like to see if tommy malone is the best starter to put him in the rotation. But i definitely see the argument on the other side but again..

"In the starting rotation at all on the same. I think he's better. But i would agree. That he's been lethal out the pen i agree. Yes wildcard guy. Tyler chatwin better or worse than monroe art. Who was a great stuff last year. I'm going to say no. I'm gonna give you a match even even i was gonna say. Yeah they're fighting for spots that we're in a bad position. I'm just going. I just thought it'd be a fun game going through every guy starting pitching in our rotation right. Now we are. I mentioned thomas hatch probably better right better known anthony k better. Yeah yeah oddly. Enough apparently obvious. Luciano is still on our forty man. Roster i'm surprised that still. They're not yet. Not yet. Stephen matt's again i think it's the same thing as chatwin. Alright yeah they go there at this point too. I mean if you told me we were getting two thousand fifteen twenty. Sixteen steve and matt's he could be the second best in this rotation behind review. There's no guarantee of that. So i'm gonna say equal as well meriwether. He's not in the rotation figuring also try out. I thought they were saying. Yeah but there's just way too much injury risk with that guy like even the bullpen. It's as risky as it is right. Now so yeah. I'd rather roark over. Mary weather right now and we are. I said trent thornton would you think he's on par with loggins. Pack roark yes. They're very similar. Yeah that's pretty much all tj zoe. I give zoe gives us the starts what we got. Yeah well there was something about just watching the way who's singer place. The way i see it at least in american league east ballparks. You've got a guy. Verse row are more pop flied. Ridden bursa guy. That's gonna keep on the ground. And i always would rather pick the guy at keeps on the ground ground balls or more was democratic. Corrina bull. durham right so anyway. You wanna kick it off. Do we have our four. Feels like outfitters but is just going to be a bench personality. Not just thinking about that. Is that point right now. You're going to allow. let's go to the scene. You're going this direction. If i was going to go right now. At least the way. I was constructing this whole thing is. I'd be playing. Rolette would be who has got the day off in the outfield to play d. h. because in all reality those are some good bats when it really comes down to it. The question is what that next pieces. Who placed third. Who gets shifted around. Because semi-in being here i think is a better hitter. Potentially anna left handed bat than randall. Grachev taken d. h. slots and i think. Pitching has gone a long ways for a guy that literally threw a no hitter last year in buffalo so not to be forgotten might have been saved by the one chance of a hit that Jonathan Davis does completely swiped out of it because guy did throw a no hitter in buffalo the night before date Pearson hate his debut in Buffalo. He has something there and I think you guys will attest to it. That it's just waiting for that. Next COG to click. And maybe you can tell me a little bit about what you think you see in terms that Tj Zoe. I'm kind of the same pages Brennan you know. He's huge six seven and I think you know probably growing up. He was bigger than everyone and he uses intimidation You know to kind of strike people out before they even stepped in the box. But you know Ninety five from a guy that big is is not you know is impressive to me but I I think he has major league stuff. I think you know if he could you? Maybe add a couple of miles per hour to his fastball. Maybe add a third pitch You know get a little more consistency with his change up in a sinker and you know kind of get some movement. You know everything. Everything slats going get mashed at the major league level so I I think he's got some you know he's got some work to do but with the brain and you know the the pitching that he's put out there the resume that he has already. I think he's on the right product. He's you know he's spreading right step but I think he's maybe a half a step away from being that every day Major League Bullpen Guy. Or maybe speaking rotation. Yeah speaking guys. I was actually honestly shocked to actually see may carless guys and I think that's a lot of it because he's been lost in the shuffle with all these other great pitchers that have been going through the Blue Jays minor league system and that is slotting in at number twenty five Hector Perez. I have honestly seen plenty from Hector Perez and I just. I'm waiting for that next thing to happen them. I just. It's the potentials there but that next step has not happened into the AA level for him since he's been acquired for the Toronto Blue Jays Zach. I'll let you kick this one off. Eggs I've noticed about there is likes to pitch himself into trouble and he pitches himself out of trouble really well so I think we can avoid pitching himself into trouble as much You know he can kinda climb that ladder but it's been one of those things is consistency has been there for him. But he's one of those bulldog types that He's one of those you know. He has the shovel in his hand. He's like I'M GONNA DIG MYSELF. Out One way or another and I think a lot of people up the ladder have noticed that and the you know a lot of the brass have taken notice but I think they would like to see more of less trouble and more steadiness out of Perez and. I think I'm kind of with you. You know I think once he kind of fits that groove a maybe Less innings with runners behind him or walking around are putting runners on getting double plays or having to pitch out of trouble. I think he's GonNa move up the ladder and kind of find himself in you. Know in a in a rotation Maybe a buffalo or maybe even coming out of the Bullpen Brennan kind of leading You ended your point with the Perez giving looking at its Fan Grass. Page back last year in In double a with With the Fisher. Cats average five walks in that inning. So that's based on ball tonight so he's effectively wild as A lot of people like to coin pitchers These days but I could see him just because then you go and look at not to give away the rest of our our top thirty last from our voters but when you have guys like Joey Murray and even a Simian would Richardson. Who wishes acquired? There's a lot of guys who have already caught up in surpassed has perot's on the depth chart to the point. Where with all the great arms that this organization has collected and the limited amount of spots in rotations throughout the minor leagues perspective. Breads can still have a job and keep on going. It might be better served to consider him out of the bullpen. I mean you always use the bullpen as a last resort for a pitcher. When you know that they do have some good stuff and whatnot. But I might be soon time for that to happen but with the limited amount of spots in Buffalo in in Toronto and even out of the bullpen in Toronto I think he probably pencilled in for another stint in AA before he gets back. Call UP TO BUFFALO BUT I. I'm leading more so with actor. I wouldn't be surprised when he does get the call up. It could be As a reliever at least to start I'm going to circle back to really quick to where Zach was talking about. How HE LIKES TO GET HIMSELF INTO TROUBLE. I can't remember an outing. I'VE BEEN WATCHING LEAGUE TV. That he didn't get off to allowing like you said. Brennan couple of walks in the first inning or a walking bass it. It just felt like there was always two guys on base and the first couple innings. And each any. When you're doing that you're constantly in the whole starting off. Yes he is actually very very good Houdini in his way out of most of the trouble because in all reality this four point six era that he had this past season through one hundred twenty innings could have been very much more inflated from how he steps in it right off the bat but the fact that he can bulldog his way through it just makes me wonder if that is exactly where he would be better off in that bullpen. Mike you guys were both mentioning. I hate to shoehorn amendment. Act Right this second. Because he does have three pitches that are pretty solid but the fact that we were just talking about. It's like where do you take? The next step is that when he gets a chance to go out into the one inning to winning maybe in this era out and go through a lineup once or is it with him taking that next step and staying in the minor league rotations enough to get seen and dropped this era back down to what we were seeing in previous performances when he was acquired by the Blue Jays in the mid threes and I think he gets back to that. He's still staying as starter just because there is the potential for him to be a little that they'll kick that flame into a good torch so is with this so next on the countdown is actually someone. That's probably GonNa make the team guys and I say probably because there's certain little things that happened in parking lots and some of the guys that they might want to keep on the forty man roster to that don't have options and I wonder if if there is no case reese McGuire making this team. I wonder if it's in that situation there that they'd like to keep somebody like Caleb Joseph in lineup for whatever reason and give a chance to get more everyday at bats with Danny Johnson taking more the share of the at bats of the major league level Brennan. A Course I'm talking about Reece's pieces McGuire right here. So yeah just point. I think it'd be shocked if he doesn't make the The opening day roster. Hey you brought up a good point earlier now that you have a twenty six man it could be easier to carry on your auster so if they really WanNa veteran like genesis or Patrick can't well and they could do that but Yeah I think we're we're for sure GONNA see recently. Start the season with With the Blue Jays and the fact that we mentioned this a few podcasts ago is the fact that recent wire Put in the work and actually went to Russell Martin to ask him for tips and questions and whatnot. Catching one hundred zero When reassigned by the team so yes no and I was impressed last year with McGuire. I mean considering. The fact Chanson didn't hit very much It was a nice change to see McGuire in just one hundred five plate appearances. He smacked five runs and almost three hundred. I don't think that was very small sample size but even still The fact that.
