And i've had a lot of clients that are really concerned about this and i actually had a client a couple months back and they were really concerned. About how much hair. They were losing and they just felt like it wasn't as thick as it used to be. So i turned her onto neutral and i actually saw her last week and she says she already notices a difference in her hair fullness so i'm so happy it's working for someone out there that's amazing. Yeah us too as me. Yeah i have recently started taking your full. I don't. I don't know about you guys but i went deep down in my instagram. Why did this to show somebody something from a long time ago. And i saw my hair four years ago. Has this ever happened to you. And i literally got so sad. I go what happened. D. Hanson the author of the case for trump with the Hoover Institution I think you gave an interview to to a certain website and they quoted you with regards to general Petraeus I'm not sure you will correct recorded what is it you said about the former director of the CIA why didn't he does he remember has come out and said that we should now broke the chains of the base names of yes Fort Bragg there are many that he mentioned I'll just take for brightening up Braxton dragon no I've been very complimentary of general Petraeus I I cited in the book chapter the seder journals but right and I agree with them that Braxton Bragg with the mediocre Jamal I agree with him that he fought for a disreputable calls in the races according to our standards of almost people on both sides will compete categories races today but nevertheless I was curious why do that now in a period of national attention when as quickly as mentioned the article he had been affiliated with Fort Bragg for years yeah my point was that had he done that say ten years ago what was the reaction of his superiors or the military culture at large would be very critical of it would have taken a maverick who died on the altar of social justice this way you know what I can no longer be affiliated with US bank but now it's so much easier and not with the metaphor for what's going on now on the social and cultural revolutions rather than people saying stop take a deep breath let's appoint a commission to study all these institutions we really want what role Wilson's name at Princeton University and the Wilson school given an even better is Stanford University really should be named after the founder who systematically exploited Asians and call them you know despicable names to deliver a low we want to do this if we do let's get the border judicata must not just you know off the concert you know what all the sudden today at the opportune time I think that base without any contact that base was named Braxton Bragg in that period of the call could bargain of eighteen seventy six one you know there was a blot on the new apple Molly whether reconstruction would be stopped it was and people want to be healed the wounds and they started naming you know park's main bases in various things in the north or in the border states or in federal property in the south after.

"Again in. The same is true with CUCKOO'S NEST. Where Billy who was voluntarily in the mental institution and whose mother in a nursing so on are controlling his life all over the place and finally some guy comes in crazy. Kinda guy would really not crazy. He's just while just a fun lover and he's getting him to do things for himself and finally beginning to smile for the first time and Venus and what happened. You know what happened? Dealing with people on this reality basis is what I am talking about where I am coming from. I believe these things one that we choose that life is a choice and that we have a voice in our destiny and that it is not in conflict with any religious formulation that there's no such thing to me as a god who would give the illusion of a free will and then take it away from them and dictate. What is life or her? Life is going to be that we do choose and we choose not only are mental health but we choose our physical health as well. We choose our coal. Which is our backaches were. Jews are headache. Which are tiredness would use our allergies? And even if I'm wrong why defended. Why believe the television says out? I almost missed it last year. The cold season parent coal season. Oh my God damn near went through the whole season without a call would have been terrible but I just remember. It's the coal season that's right cold season you'll get a you'll get a cold if you have that draft you'll get a cold if you have a draft on you you'll get a cold if you draft on you. What happened? I got a call? Where'd you get ida draft on me last night? It happens all the time you expect to have cramps. You'll have him boy here. We go to have headaches and thank. You can get them to be gone from your life by taking an aspirin. What's the message that you send to your body? I can't send this headache away. I didn't 'cause it who caused a mother caused it. God caused anybody caused it but me so if something external causes my headache therefore I better rely on something external to me to get rid of it. And I'll rely on this aspirin and you know what we rely on aspirin for the to the tune of in this country. Fifty billion tablets containing aspirin every year are swallowed in America. Fifty billion billion. Break that down into manageable number. That's one aspirin tablet or every single person in our country over the age of five every single day except weekend. That come comes to two hundred seventy five tablets a year or every single person in our country over the age of. How could we have evolved into species that needs uphill every single day? Just doesn't seem possible for me particularly when it is so easy to send away most of the ailments that we have most of them with just changing our attitude around having a different belief system. It really is. We are the product of the choices that we make and tiredness is a choice. You ever notice how tired you get when you've got something unpleasant to do. I'm tired what are you GONNA do today? I got to clean up the yard out the lawnmower get out the edgier edging edging you get blisters from edging. The rake out the roller get out the fertilizer spreader looking at all sitting over there. Look at all of 'EM I tired. I think I'll lay down for three months people's expectations along with their choice really determine whether or not they're going to be happy or not you see if you expect things to go badly for you and if there's anything that mental health can do it is involved with changing people's expectations around. You may have heard me talk about it with Gabe Kaplan on the connection. Here's my brother. Hollick me up on Friday Wayne Wayne. I've got a cold all and on Monday. It's going to be down in my chest. I said only Friday It'll be done by Tuesday. I'll have a fever and then it'll be coughing probably terrible. I'll probably have to take next. I know it. I'll have to take next Wednesday off. How do you handle how you handle it? How do you deal with people who use you as a dumping ground for their neurosis? My Way rule now only if you decide to believe that it is I said Jim. Fry One second FRY to imagine how little I care. Wonderful a wonderful way to deal with if you take the two sentences out of your life a I'm tired and be I don't feel well you'll have cured about fifty percent of your tiredness and your and your Illness literally you reinforce all the time and people expect to. Here's how they work you get into bed and it's two thirty in the morning all right and you've been out all night partying having a wonderful time but you know that you've Gotta. Get up tomorrow morning at six right. You look at your watch thirty in the morning. Am I going to be tired tomorrow if I WERE TO FALL ASLEEP? Right this second right now and of course. I'm not going to. I know that I would still only get three and a half hours sleep. Demand Kamara was going to be a bad don't you do that all the then? Three thirty an hour of tossing and turning crunch thirty three thirty four five two and a half finally does the alarm goes off at six. Your wife says good morning how you doing what time I question six o'clock. Oh my God my tired and your kids say. How're you doing daddy? Don't talk to me today. I'm really tired and you go to work. And the first thing you say is what happened while I didn't get much and the truth is nobody cares. Nobody in this whole world cares nor off. They care because they reinforce it. I mean you're not helping somebody by list becoming a listening post for their neurosis if you think they care. Take a poll. Just take whole Pencil and paper. Pardon me I was about to tell you. I'm tired do you care if I'm I don't give you care of an I? I gave a lady in assignment to who was just a stranger lady. That worked at macy's who when I went in there for some after Shave Lotion. And she came over to me. I say with this tired slept quarter to five. I'm the last customer of the day. One of these. It's going to help you like shaving. Those M I oliver's ask me if I care if you're I'll bet you don't care I'll bet you really don't care if I'm tired with her response is that of course not and we got into this whole thing. We had a therapy session right there. I said Look I want you to keep an I'm tired journal and I'M GONNA come back next week same time we're GONNA come in here and see how many times a day you say. I'm tired every time you're about to say it or do say it. Just keep track of want to know something. I came back the following week. She said you're not gonNA believe this. But I went to say to my husband seventy one times in one day honestly and one day. I'm tire can you imagine what a joy that person would be to live with? Who Do you live with I live with? I'm tired. What's her name. I don't know all she says is I'm tired. I thought somebody one time today. You don't say anything seventy one times a day up. I'm tired to get that out of your vocabulary and change around your expectations. Stop expecting to be tired. I mean instead of when you get up at six you say okay. I had two hours sleep last night. I'm going to go to work today and I'm GonNa come home and I'm going to enjoy myself. And every time I start thinking tired thought or my body reminds me or maybe feel a little achey. I'm just going to not concentrate on that. I'm not going to focus on that. I'm going to tell no one out there about my tiredness or about how much sleep ahead. I'm going to forget about all that and I'm not going to have that in my life. I couldn't sleep last night. I'll sleep tonight. What's the big deal? Didn't leave and you get involved in your life and you changed your attitude around your expectations color. All of your perceptions.

So let me get back to that question that thing. Yeah I was talking about at the beginning of the program. Okay that thing about having something on your mind it could be just about anything it stuck in your crawl. That's what my grandma used to say from Jersey shore Pennsylvania stuck in your crawl. Actually say it sounds like you're getting close close to having something stuck in your crawl them's old fashioned words but you get them right. Maybe made some some millennials Hanky man. GimMe a dictionary. Get a dictionary on that phone. Let me look at a printing ear ear and stuck in your crawl. What heck sent me some bothering you right happens? Everybody's GonNa Happen every single day. There's probably not a moment of the day that something doesn't cross your path did bother you a little bit and you can. You can let it bother you and likely it's going to me and I'm I'm not a guy it's gonNa tell you that it's not going to bother you a little bit in fact you don't you you don't really know if it's bothering the UN told us bothering you then it's kind of too late right. I mean how can you stop it from bothering you. That's called not carrying. I want you to care. Oh serious. Dose of Scott. Logic here so stuff's going to bother you. We just can't get away from that so we understand is going to bother you understand. It's GonNa take some kind of action to get through it now. Life is very empowering you get back in control and I'm not saying you're not out of control the raise your hand if you are. Raise your hand. If you've ever been out of control. Raise your hand. If you think maybe this weekend you might be out of control for at least a few minutes and nobody has a camera. Hopefully I don't know. Do you need to forgive somebody from your past. How about the time you stuck your foot in your mouth times? A thousand if you're me finding a way to eliminate negative thoughts. That's it's difficult sometimes. If you think positive or at least do positive stuff you find. Negative can't get its way. And but it's sneaky little bugger. It is your already noticed. How sneaky it is? It's the devil's work. It is our I know. I don't know the devil but it seems like it would be sneaky. Sneaky sneaky those negative thoughts they just come right in. When you expect? You'll be a positive conversation. Somebody says something and also having. Oh that's life life that's people just happens. It's never going to have to find a way to deal with it right so simple way. A tried tried and true version. This has happened years and years. And you're probably way before any of US knew anything we weren't even here you probably tens of thousands of years ago probably the minute that somebody probably commit fire was invented. It's probably GONNA happen. Somebody said hey fire great let me let me do what Scott's GonNa talk about because I've been waiting for fire so I could do it journal July to write things down. Have you heard that you probably ought to be writing things down. The other day was talking to a client and she had a few things on her mind. Some things you're dealing dealing with the go back about thirty years now and to me. That boggles my mind. I really thirty years can take care of that real fast so what you do. Is You Journal it and you burn it now. Sometimes on New Year's Eve you'll find people. They burning parties right. Where you kind of take what didn't work out the past year? You kinda ride it in your throat. The firing say something. You have a drink and who. Hey it worked so matter what and really I know some people just got that so subtle that so simple yeah. It's been a long time. There is something about. Here's why I think personally about us. If you take a scribble your thoughts on a piece of paper and it could be just a piece of paper you had to get fancy. Just get posted on. I don't care what you don't it doesn't matter now the more you you do the more you brain dump the more you're free right the more you get stuff out here the more you just dump it. Fill a whole journal mole skin. I don't care what it is. Don't put on your computer though because they don't want your brand new your computer. That wouldn't be good if you do that. Print burn that okay but scribble scribble scribble Philadelphia. The more you do this the deeper you get the more layers you kinda pill back from an onion essay and stuff kind of comes out and that's what you want to come out. You don't want to hold back. Don't hold back the stuff that's bothering you. Don't people do that. I'm telling you they do Scott. This has bothered me okay. Write it down on Journal. Great let me read it. They give it to me. I said well where to go. Well I just didn't feel I didn't know put on the paper. Get rid of it if you won't if you won't talk about talk about it okay. Okay so scripture thoughts on a piece of paper and get a creole or a crown or a piece of chalk. I don't care what it is. Fill in. A Tire Journal doesn't matter what that is. It's up to you but getting your thoughts on the piece of maybe you know what it does limited. What will interruption go deep here has got some amateurs of the audience but the truth is this is the truth as I say you become what you think about right? Whatever thoughts on your mind? They're just kind of floating around a very powerful form of energy because associates can be created and become something. What happened in? Would you write those thoughts on a piece of paper. What are you doing your manifest and you make it something real few minutes ago? It didn't feel real was just thought it was driving me crazy but the minute you wrote it down it became real. Didn't it right skied. It's on a piece of paper. There's some pretty pricey pieces of apron this plan. I wouldn't you agree. Let's think about when you get out of your head and we take the time to write it down you've made a real and if you really dig in its really real. Some people write novels based on that stuff. But you're not going to do that because we need to get rid of its bad stuff so it becomes real now. What can you do? If it's real. We can deal with it right. That's her step. Two comes in so simple so easy I want you to burn it into oblivion batch of fire light a bonfire use the backyard barbecue. Get the blow torch out. Hey that's a good idea. The blowtorch out of the garage into Abbey Refund. Kids if you're listening to me ask your Mama diverse okay. There are other ways to do in fact. You shouldn't have fired at all no and no. You can't do it on your iphone or your ipad and thanks computer. Can't do it scribble down figuring all the stuff you just got to get rid of it and it's burn it. It can be simple as just kind of go out and drive. Dry Wayne is lighting in watching afloat. Obey have a hose handy if it's dry. Are you three or fireplace. You Bernard on your stove your I don't care what you do. You should common sense. Okay okay I know it sounds so so so so so simple and we'll fix everything right away not really but the mere fact that you have taken everything inside of your head and you moved it out of your head Ed. You've made it real on the piece of paper. Just that alone is going to make you feel better. It's going to give you some control. It's going to free up space inside your brain for happiness. Okay and then when you burn. It isn't GonNa make you feel perfect today. None an really but a little bit better but if you did that a couple more times and you got a little bit better every single day the copy simple guy but a little bit better. Every single day as the old inch by Inches essential thing that becomes a lot. Better if you give at a time so you don't get to thirty four million downloads without. Let me talk like that on. It's an amazing skill set but somehow it works but I do promise you. It's very very simple. Promise I can make this promise. I've seen it a thousand times. I'll see thousand more as long as I live. It's going to be true. True you to the simple release. The waiting feel just a little bit. It's going to set you free just a little bit. I enjoy life. I'm just a little bit more every single day. You're gonNA feel control and empowered in life is going to change for you that so the eye very very very sureau.

You're gonNA feel control and empowered in life is going to change for you

"All welcome the city games. Gas Is Episode Twenty Six. My Name's Nick Naylor. I am not in our normal normal space but but I am I left is still under Milton. Yeah coming at you from the friends. Base Moore was tire journals and across from me. Yeah this episode. Twenty six jared jared basement We it gets weird down here guys. Yeah it's a weird place so right off the top if this sounds a little different maybe not up to par because we're just in a random room that we haven't had time to Take care of but guys this the the worst week of the year for me. Yeah why don't you tell us what has been going on in your life. What Goddess Point My base? Well well so I I build this garage and things are going well and I saw I had a little bit of extra time and my wife had just cleaned out our storage room. That's downstairs in the basement and in that storage room. It's like super rough concrete. That's always flaking off and every time you go doing there there's just like you track she out of it so I was like I am going to traffic court this room. This seems like a great idea. And essentially essentially what you drive on on a parking garage. This is what I decided. I wanted to do to the storage room to make it a robbery surface. It's still think it's it's a good idea so I go in there Monday afternoon and I just a paint roller painting the ground and you. That's what I figured I was doing. So you would think there'd be some fumes and then the next day less fumes and what happened is I live in an old house a a hundred years old. We do not have a sub floor above the storage room. It's literally for Joyce and wood floor old wood floor so there's cracks like you can see like through do all. The fumes from the storage room went up into the house and spread everywhere. And you could cut it with a knife like if you were in there for ten minutes headache you'd be sick to your stomach. Everything's bad so that night. Obviously we're like all right. This is going to pass. This is on Monday. Let's go to my parents house so we go to my parents house we laugh. We had some wine. You have three dogs to take elsewhere. Yeah that's the worst part is. We took the dogs to my wife's brothers place and my older golden retriever. Just doesn't deal with at this type of stuff. He's like heartbroken. He's looking at you. Say why are you leaving. I thought we loved each other. Come on man. So he's heartbroken my throat because drink jer made me anyway. We come back. The next morning opened the door. And you just get. It's worse and I'm like. Oh No okay. Why can get this worked out today? So we're going home depot rent a bunch of huge fans and we have the doors open all day and the fans are going and we have like ten dollar mass that I'm wearing being an my wife's nowhere near the place I'm in there like working and playing dark off with a mask on super relevant to the game of this role. Oh play like. I'm like finding mass. I'd like I wish I had that mass. That mask seems way better than the mask. I'm wearing as Turco. Uh so I really bad headache. I'm like fuck so we go out to eat. We go to my parents house again. I'm like surely surely by the second day we're going to be good and I was wrong wrong wrong and today is a Friday. Yeah I did this Monday. We have now moved into a new house. We got on AIRBNB are reunited with our dogs. Our House do you can't fuck can go in there. We now have thirty dollar mass for when you do need to go in there. We have nicer mass and this is this is terrible. This is all bio dewey. 'cause I was like easy little thing ten by ten room. Let's just make the concrete less shitty so now we're here Jarrett's Baseman it'll teach you turn your storage unit six extension like my wife is like finding other people that have had problems as she's just like this person is clear for a month if a month yeah. I hope everything works out for you but man this is. This is not a good situation any way so you cut it but no hopefully the AIRBNB is nice. You can just by that place outright move their. BNB is pretty nice weird. They didn't addition in the master but they liked didn't do doors so you sleep in king bed that's great and then there is a essentially a sheet a curtain. This separates person sleeping in bed and one person's shitting in toilet and I don't think this is acceptable like a curtain dude. It's just a curtain curtained. As just like you. There's no privacy whatsoever. I go to the bathroom. I've dislike I wake up at five in the morning to go to work just like Eddie super stoked the wake up five in the morning to just take an oh that does not sound ideal. supermodern Real Martin modern but the the living room in this place they have every season of Xena warrior princess so the next game scouts. I guess I will. We'll be watching at some point in your life right two years from now if the Knicks back in his house. Yeah we'll know everything you can give us a detailed runback of everything that happened in xena warrior princess so yeah spoilers for later in the game's gassed. I see. I only had one week in between shows because I have not played any games five days. Luckily I had a pretty good run before that but Jerry this drink yeah. You're you're like this is this is it. This is the drink this is gonNA take off and I don't know if I said yeah those things. This is a lot of money for this and not. How did we get to where we're where we are right? Well you know. I'm I'm not sure to be honest with you. I like to call this. Drink the jared island. I call it that pretty regularly around here and my girlfriend everytime is super hot damn it but basically the rundown of this drink is Arizona. Ice Tea very expensive Arizona. SONAL the nicest zone the finest top-shelf Arizona Ice Tea Coupled with a nice little shod ca a- and a nice little drip or so of Coca Cola to round everything off. So Arnold Palmer is T- right not just straight Arizona. Yes yes that's a good point Although you could probably do it with any of the Arizona's to varying success it's not a good drink but for whatever reason it's not bad drink I have been drinking them. L. Usually have one like once a week and like the Coca Cola those me off. I don't don't really order cocktails with Coca Cola. It's actually like I'm a coke guy. Most of the time you're just like coke or Pepsi. I'm GONNA go coke but for this particular concoction Pepsi Works Better for whatever reason the same thing but yeah they have a different taste so some people think so they do they. Do I think that I think if we pulled our listeners most people would be like yes. There is a significant difference. I can taste it. I don't know but it's much more refund to pretend there is an. It's like the left and right twix factories they basically come out the same place and they just bottled differential. What the left and right twix factory twix says made in a different different factory and then they come by and then they do the backing plant? They whole fucking commercial tickets. I'm not making the left factory dudes or like more to a really good job. Yeah they hate each other you guys guys so for for better or worse guys. We got white trash rings. Jared's Jarrett's basement and we're rolling with it. We're GONNA WE'RE GONNA make it work for you guys because we love you and it's under Soba month. I'm not drinking jared island. Yeah unfortunately he doesn't get to imbibing jared island That's his choice not mine. Yeah I want my liver to remember that it's supposed to protests fats and not just alcohol so just giving it a quick yeah shock to the system. Make sure it's still knows what its job is. It's a nice winter spruce deliver the holidays coming up though I mean. Well that's the thing like I you know I'm not too worried about. I go to South Africa in December. So Reagan a kick it back in back into two months with the damage on that trip. So yeah yeah take them. All the drinks that were making and C.. I could see if Africa likes jared islands. They fucking totally with a man so i. I'm observing serving the room. That ran Bring them a huge container of corks. And what's the endgame here. I don't mean it's full so you did did it. That's when you're an adult you don't drink cokes. Those are all fucking wine court which jared doesn't drink any wine. The evidence evidence points different. That's all that's all my girlfriend. She's done hard work over years and years. I'm really confused. I feel like out of spite you through a few beer bottle all caps in there. Just yeah just to be like. I walk contribute. Yeah no that's totally The long and the short of it absolutely. Yeah she gonNa make like a cork board or something. I don't don't know I think that it is like decorative by I think that's the idea I don't know don't ask me my My Wife my wife's Mother made us a sweet wreath thing. That you put on your front door made out of works. And but she made herself and I think maybe skipped a couple steps because this essentially every day you just show up and there would be more of them on the ground every fucking day and actually it was just like well we need we. We can't even drink fast enough to keep up this fucking this fucking door. Dressing court. Generally the most sturdy of material so especially if it is Exposed to the elements. I could see how that would be a problem Yeah so you know It's it's weird but but it's home nick all right. What about games in the basement? So Games basement right so this drink rex. My voice more normal. So I'm sorry and it's all right I'm Liz Khan was week ago and I watched it a little bit of it. I watch what I wanted to see. Yeah little weird time. Maybe like the worst timing ever for bliss gone and they really need this one to hit like last year's they announced nothing and then they ended the show with Dyke like Diablo mobile and and then people in the panels like during bliss. Connie off the three days. Were like a joke like are we being punked with you. You lose going on here. Well the best part about it was that They they ended the show like you said with that mobile nonsense and it was all Diablo themed and people's lost their money and we're like Yeah Java four and then it was like at the end of the trailer that coming to mobile at whatever date and people audibly Eh Boo boo sell. It was not expect though like I dunno people to be stoked about that shit they were not what. There's a lot to unpack here for starters. They needed to have a good bliss Khan and before we even get into all the details. They kind of brought what they probably needed to do. Yeah without any other drama like they showed up with overwatch to stuff for awhile for for people that are still on that drug. I don't love the stock stuff and then like a now to our Diablo four trailer. Yeah trailer nine minutes and I was like I mean good thing it looked it looked fantastic so irritating but yeah a bit long. Yeah very very strange But you know the game play. They showed off and then on top of The CGI trailer that was coupled coupled with that was super impressive. I think you said just like make a movie. Yeah why don't you just make a movie. I've I mean I have a Diablo blow to I have been. I just loved the cinematics that always made Abbas starcraft like this is the best part and then we'll play the game. Well they crushed it this. Yes I mean the overwatch. One that have low on they were both just incredible to watch you just sort of watch it and go holy Shit. They could be cheerful film yet. I did get I I while I was watching the Diablo and I was like this is a little too long but I don't know it's Diablo doesn't come around very often. I'm I'm excited for that game I will. I'm for sure play it up. Played all the previous ones but then the overwatch. Oh boy that got me excited. I told Nick on Saturday last week that I literally and you might be make fun of me about this but I literally kind of Welled up with emotion. A lot of a lot of people do and I. It was there's a well-made trailer though. Well well yes. It was a well-made trailer but my my perspective of it is when I hold that game up to other games in my life There are very few that come to like as many fond memories that I have with that game like that game has got. I have so many submarine with that. And so what did you think of the hint that it's like. There is multiplayer p. b. e. out. There is yeah. I'm fine fine.
