"Yards now? I am. That's right, John. Great, please. Come on down. Amazing. I'll come and see you soon. It's on the reason I say this as well as her over there now. Others are joining them. Who's downtown anymore? Apart from Goldman. That's a big issue. Deutsche Bank taking over the Time Warner center. No, it is. I can't think of many banks that are still downtown. It's like anything else to Stephen Ross and I know he's in the news right now another matters, but John in the building of these things, they sort of they're there and then they get a critical mass boom and I wonder if this is a year coming out of the pandemic or Hudson yards gets a critical mass. They hope my Schumacher over at Wells Fargo Mike awesome to catch up. Lisa midtown west is stacked. You've got JP on park and I can't think in many names left downtown at all. Yeah, I was actually just doing some research and I can't find a lot of them. I wonder also part of this is how many people actually go to the floor of the New York Stock Exchange anymore. How much is that not the center anymore? I thought I've heard it's a TV studio now. I'll get in trouble. Really? I'm looking at trouble for that. It's just a joke. It's a joke, okay? It's just a joke. Anyway, let me get back to OPEC plus because the team over a Bloomberg on the commodity side is absolutely fantastic. Jillian Lee said this time. If they deliver a 100,000 barrel a day increase, share pro rata among the OPEC plus members, it would raise Saudi Arabia's target by 26,000 barrels a day. That's not even enough to fold one Suez max tanker a month. That from Julian Lee, I think that's such a great way of breaking this down, so. It is. I mean, and what's great about that, it gets down to the process involved. It's not financial intangibles. This is all tangible assets like a lot of other things we're worried about, including food. It's a nice TV. Anyway, just for anyone still wondering. It's a bit of theater. At four cents on the S&P. Congratulations. People emailing in like crazy chop Seeger November of 1975. Coventry theater. Nice. I believe some of the pharaoh clan was there. Calf. Mature on the way down to 5 nice and straight. Plus remember half the family were down in Sicily in the mines town. In 1975, come on, go. Check out a few more decades before that, and imagine Tom. Sure. Futures are higher at some. It's a great day for it. It is a great day. An OPEC plus meeting wrapping up sometime soon. There we go. It's just beautiful. It's beautiful. This is Bloomberg. "Life. Obviously, in fashion luxury retail color plays a role, but there was a period in time that pink was the most important color in my life. Not because I wore it. Was a building amazed to CEO of LVMH ink and part of my responsibility was overseeing the Thomas Pink global shirt company. It grieves me to say it, but I've read a few headlines this week that went as follows. Pink goes off line as covert takes the shirt off its back. Think shirtmaker bows out of business. Sylvia mates taking with furs for the intellectual property unloved by affiliation with Thomas Pink. Thomas Pink was an amazing shirt, Brandt Thomas Pink of German street in London. Jermyn Street is the Seville role for shirts and neck word accessories in London. It is the place to be, and that's where Tom's think established itself. I remember doing an advertising company. I like any color as long as it's pink. All the labels were pink. The trimmings were picker's An amazing, amazing brand. Thomas Pink was in stores all of the China, the United States, some of the greatest mall's New York alone. We had a store in Wall Street. Where the store in 67 you right in the business district. We had a store in Time Warner Center. Where else I need to think about it. Believe it stores and they were doing okay. Was very, very proud of the Thomas Pink story. I was very proud being involved with the brand was very proud that LVMH, in addition to my other responsibilities, gave me the corporate oversight of that business. Well, fast forward. I'm running this brand all the labels of pink, beautiful pink color. All the boxes of pink. It was kind of like, Ah, shirt version of Tiffany. You know, with the blue. They didn't think it was brilliant. The guy running it, Jonathan Heil Burn was of the financial guy from the first times they've launched and I forged a great working relationship. We traveled pretty much wherever the brand was, and we did everything and he did everything to make this luxury brand extraordinary. This time goes on. It occurred to me that maybe we didn't have to always do things and retail that maybe we could sell some of the product to some of the finest retailers in America and make money doing it. We live together. We made a decision to approach Neiman Marcus. I knew the president and CEO of Neiman Marcus at the time. And I introduced Jonathan to her. And sure enough, we started the business with Neiman Marcus. I remember that. You know, I go to Neiman Marcus stores and New Jersey wherever they were in New York and New Jersey around the country, I would see Thomas Pink Front and center beautiful presentation. Those of you don't know. The British shirt makes a very bold stripes. Very stiff collars. French cuffs, too diffused. Proper British shirts that will last the test of time and they were worth every bit of the 202 $150 that they sold for. We got a great presentation from Neiman Marcus. After a few months. I get a call that Neiman Marcus has dropping us. I couldn't believe. What do you mean? They're dropping us their droppings. Do you know why we're just not selling well? Sorry. I never forget. I got on a plane. I went to Texas to meet with the CEO, president of Neiman Marcus. And she said in nutshell, we loved the product. It's great. Look great quality belongs in our store. Except ourselves. People don't want to sell it. And he is a very interesting lesson. Jesse for million dollars. Why do you think the sales people didn't want to sell Thomas Pink? Ah! I don't know. I'm offering a million dollars. Uh, maybe they didn't want to detract from other brands who not worth $2 million, but close. Do I get, like 100,000 or anything? No. All of Neiman Marcus is sales people worked on commission. When a customer would come into the store and buy a suit or say they're looking for a shirt. Would they take them over to Thomas Pink and earn? Let's say a 10% commission on a $250 shirt or they prefer a 10% commission on a $500 shirt. And that's what happened. They went to the shirt brands that could sell for more money because they made more money themselves. So it didn't matter how beautiful our presentation is and how much space we have missed. Or if the sales people prefer to sell on the brands. We weren't gonna be successful, and it wasn't as successful as I hoped. To make a Lord's story short. You like that? Yeah, I wish I would've known that five minutes ago. I could have won a million dollars. Well, maybe I'll forget now offered to you another time. But as time went on, I was right from the day one. Listen, I've been on the year, five years. Justin. I've been doing this five years. We never had a negative word to say about LVMH in to this day. I never will. I never found people. I respected more. They treated me brilliantly, and I made them a lot of money. And they made me a lot of money. That great company, But when it came to Thomas Pink They just didn't understand that first time around, I would tell you in our meetings. There was little like group think we go into these meetings and the chief financial officer had a point of view of what? Thomas Pink Good day and the head of human resource is is appointed with Thomas pick would be and the marketing people and the president on and on and on and sit there and listen, say every one of these people are entitled to their own opinion. They all have heavy votes. But what makes them more right than us, But the fact that they have this luxury background I would always acquiesce skin lab to go their own way. When I left l V not long after I was on my book tour. I walked in the store, and I noticed a couple of things, one that changed the pink label. They made a white Why in the world when you have the greatest label You change the color that I said something doesn't feel right. And I started to look at the product and it looked more basic. It didn't have the same Genesis acquire. I know that's not British, but it didn't have that Same feeling. That it had one I was there. And something..

"New YORK luxury buildings, higher armed guards for a possible election day unrest. We've always had immense security, but there will be more A source said, and reading through the story. New York's ultra Richard quietly preparing for a civil unrest will go out to the Hamptons to their houses there, but they weren't there and other places protected, of course, are hiring armed guards. They're hiring armed guards. Honor guards wouldn't do the job, I think to stand watch over their luxury Manhattan buildings. At the Time Warner Center on Columbus Circle. That's where CNN headquarters is. It's a giant building on the southwest corner of Central Park and a great overlook Where the penthouse is on the market right now for $62.5 Million managers are deploying off duty police officers with submachine guns. To stand watch over wealthy city on cliffs. Also beefing up security. Everybody is worried about security, an insider told The New York Post. Every top building is adding security. It's out of control. We hope it won't be needed, but we will be ready. Right now, This is this is what the Democrats have done to the United States. Americans like Mexico City where when you send your child to school yet you gotta hire armed guards to bring your Children around. You have to have a broken glass. On the walls surrounding your courtyard. On. You Gotta have armed people ready to respond because this is the left. This is what the left does everywhere in the world. And if Biden wins this election It means that this is a victory for mob violence and street violence on burning churches and men with machine guns guarding rich people because I've been around the world, Stephen Stills once saying. Teo. Many beep whole countries where this kind of stuff is normal, but it's never been normal here. And now the Democrats have made sure that this is the new reality in the United States of America. WalMart pulls guns and ammo displays and U. S stores. Citing the threat of civil unrest. Wal Mart pulling guns and ammo because that M And here's the problem. They're worried about being looted. That's the real. That's the real problem here. The Wall Street Journal with the story Wal Mart pulls guns ammo displays in U. S stores, citing civil unrest retailer says the move is a safety precaution, but customers can still purchase firearms and ammunition. You just have to go through the steps. And what they're worried about his looting, of course, because the Democrats are basically a left wing Radical criminal party. That's that's what's going on in the United States of America, and I write about that, Michael, Where's Let's see where we're going to go? Yes, we were going to go, Tio, We're going to go, Teo. Good old Mark Morgan. That's where we're going to go. I'm going to sound bite number 13. Mark Morgan is the acting commissioner of Customs and Border Protection Control the border and he tweeted and I talked about this yesterday. He tweeted that gash in the wall is working. And if Biden is elected, that'll all come to an end. And and Twitter blocked him. They blocked the senior government official for tweeting out something that is entirely true. And if you say that it's a kind of political well, okay. They're not blocking this college professor that I read about yesterday. George Mason University in Virginia, Who says that have Biden wins. We need to actively try to topple the government. He hasn't been blocked and talking about military involvement in the election. David Aston Walsh is still a professor in good standing. At George Mason University in Virginia, and he's not being blocked by Twitter. I also read the former president of Malaysia, Muslim man talking about murdering millions of French people. Muslims murdering Million's a friend after a woman was decapitated by a Muslim and niece, France, where you may remember a couple years ago, Muslim ran over murdered 87 people with a truck. On the beautiful boardwalk at Nis Boardwalk. I have walked on a lovely place. And this is your This is your Democrat party. And this is now Twitter has blocked Mark Morgan, the commissioner acting because the Democrats won't approve anybody, they obstruct everything. Andi. That's Chuck Schumer. The darkest day the Senate has ever seen. And here's Mark Morgan. He was also on with Tucker Carlson last night at a study found out that he was being blocked for for something that really is your blocking this and you're not blocking the Ayatollah. When he calls for death to the Jews, wiping Israel off the map and denies the Holocaust. We don't block that stuff. We just bought Trump Trump Administration officials. Here's Mark Morgan. I didn't understand. I didn't think I was living in America. Honestly, that's I'm being blocked. For what for saying what For saying that the wall works and it's keeping out criminals and drugs, which is the idea you're floating it across the border illegally into the country. It's not because you're here to set up a business. Mark Morgan, talking about the reality of big tech and all these creepy lefties. What they were trying to censor was my message that I've been trying to get the American people about how successful this president's vent my provided. It's not only tools like the wall system behind me, but also the network of policies that allowed us to effectively absolutely successful and addressing the illegal migration process crisis we had last year. He also tweeted. We're not just going to see if Biden is elected. We're not just going to see another immigration crisis. We're going to see an invasion and I fully believe that they announced they're promising free medical care for anybody that shows up on your doorstep. And then I was like ringing the dinner bell, and they've announced that they're not going to securities talked about tearing down any well that's been built billions of our tax dollars..

"It's time for these two guys. Berman Redl 2020 left, right. And outta sight, the morning show still in search of a campaign slogan. One is woke. The other is whack. Maybe we should have thought of this earlier in the year, Berman Redl 2020. Hey, the world is ending anyway, right? Much much earlier in Burma, and I'm Michael Riedel and I approve this message Paid for by 17 0 R goes fade your budgets blowed on production there and the ad agency that we had to come up with our slogan, which is basically using our listeners. Oh, boy, Right here is the listeners think about like that woke and whacked in the morning. They should change the name of the show. That's true. That's a good one. Um so I anyway, Noam. Oh, I was gonna check out this email. What happened there? Alright, forget that 10 the Twitter thing, You know, I'm trying to remember what I was going to do here. Thie our Twitter handle at let Michael Max had a great question here, and he tweeted us because election coverage is coming up Tuesday and and know him. You and Joe are going to be anchoring that starting eight o'clock till midnight, Right and Max ass on Twitter. If Nam and Joe are working so midnight Tuesday, who's the newsman to report election results to your faithful listeners on Wednesday mornings? Great question. I think it's going to be Joe right, just pulled all nighters before. It's what I do. On Election night, Lynn Is one. I know it's beyond your capabilities, but I'll be back bright. Nearly five o'clock in the morning really even have some definitive news for you. That would be good if I didn't pull an all nighter once now once pulled an all nighter in college, and I took this thing needs to have this thing. No. Does they still make that product? I do? And and I thought that was make me nauseous. And I I think I felt great. Just never want. Sorry, Snowflake. Man, I gotta really are fragile Jo, though I mean, I've seen you pull the all nighters year after your And you a lot of times he doesn't go home or, you know This. This is great. You're home. Yeah, Yeah, Just don't break back up. My bed is in the next room. I know Another reason why Working at home isn't so bad sometimes. Is it all right if I brought up before the break guns and the elections? I mean, this is right up Riedel's alley. Really? Riedel's been talking about violence surrounding this election, but doesn't go the way some people want. Of course, he keeps saying that if Trump gets re elected is to be the left, that goes crazy. I nobody goes crazy. Well, I hope I hope nobody goes crazy on either side, but ah In advance of all this. Wal Mart is announced. They're pulling their guns and ammo displays and all US stores, citing civil unrest that I don't think I'll target the election. Specifically, they're talking about the protests and looting this week in Philadelphia, but That's pretty scary. Now it now they'll still be able to buy your guns here. I don't be disappointed Gun fans, You'll still be able to buy your guns and ammo. WalMart. They just won't be on display. You won't have that impulse buy as you're walking by. You got to think about it. I need some new toilet paper, man I need I need some ammo, You know? Did you see speaking of guns? The ultra wealthy on the Upper East and Upper west Side of Manhattan or worried about what's gonna happen after the election. And some of these buildings have hired former NYPD cops with machine guns to guard their buildings. No, no, I'm kidding you not his most legal. Why would have machine guns? I think guns, you know, one of them Time Warner Center. Of course, that's up on 60 seconds. Columbus of the penthouse. There goes for $62 Million. We're talking about uber wealthy people, and they already have a staff that is in built with former NYPD cops, But they're going to add to it on election night, and those guys are going to be carrying around Uzis this, according to the New York Post, That's not the only building another building where there's billionaires to 20 Central Park South. That's the Home to a hedge fund. Ken Griffin. He has $238 million condo in that building. I wonder what that looks like. They also will have people with guns in the building more so than they normally have. And this is true for about eight or 10 different buildings that the New York Post spoke to over the last couple days, all worried about civil unrest. After the election on Tuesday night. Well, well, I would think that wouldn't come. If this is New York City. Wouldn't they be afraid of it coming from the right? Well, I think it could come from either side as we've seen on display all during this election. You know whether it's the riots in the streets in Philadelphia or here in the city or in the many other places across country has been both left and right. I would even argue actually been more left than it has been right. Yeah, I think it would be left to I mean, if Joe biden winds, that means that's the go ahead for the progressive movement to take the money away from the wealthy and spread it around. As Bill Deblasio says. There's plenty of money just in the wrong hands and forget about those guns at Wal Mart. You won't be able to get them if Joe Biden winds will stay off the shelves. You don't think they're going to be some well, I don't want to go there, but the Let's hope it all stays peaceful. I do know Joe's concerned in South Carolina, so he bought an extra set of golf clubs and now has an extra five iron by the front door case. Anybody cubs? Ah, break it. All right, Joey be latest news headlines at 8 30 Good morning to you, Joe. Good morning. Well, debris rained down on midtown last night, forcing the closure. Some streets that continue this morning. Powerful winds sent this crane spinning last night at 57 Street and 6000 year because you want to live in the neighborhood. You know, I walk up and down this block at a time, but it also is It is heavy winds right now. So w scared You gotta wonder about those cranes way up high. This guy's 80 some stories up in the air, and it was kind of spinning around and knocking to breed down. Fortunately, nobody got hurt. Somebody had to get up there and stabilizing them. All right. Let's see here. We've got the Corona virus, causing problems all over the tri state area. Growing concern now because of an increase in cases, Mayor De Blasio says he's worried and has not ruled out another lock down. The seven day rolling positive average right now is 1.9% not technically, you have to stop indoor dining if it goes above 2%. The mayor says the second wave could lead to huge restrictions already wants to restrict your Halloween parties. Hey, calls it dangerous if you go to large parties over Halloween, and they promised a crackdown on that, But it's okay if you want to trick or treat just do it safely. Governor Murphy in New Jersey says a second wave coming there nearly 1500 new positive test reported yesterday. 12th straight day of more than 1000 positive test, Can it? "I don't drive much. But when I do, it's apple carplay I think is like really what the old apple products used to be like super intuitive easy to use keeps me from doing something stupid I can't you know it takes over my life I'm in my car and whenever I rent a car whenever I travel I try to always make sure that my car is apple carplay so it's It is. is just like a perfect little thing. You know you just plug it in and suddenly. I know where I'm going. To pick up my phone and text people I don't to pick up my phone to make calls I have access to my music and it's a little bit disingenuous to be listening to the same thing somewhere else that I should be trying to absorb something local but it allows me to do that too so right? Yeah. Yeah the the interesting thing about. The evolution, there's I. Think you talk about? Apple you know it's the I mak they created the I mac and then created the iphone and he created the watch in the pen and the what they did really well as have a piece of software. That was we we talked about this on a previous podcast, but I tunes like the thought that everything that they did their software, their music, their videos there. Before podcast Catholic, all this will be distributed to one piece of software, and now how that extension of apple play in the car is is there is it is. It's it's well thought out in it's more of the user experience on someone else's device today. How's that going to work on the dashboard of you know? Two Thousand and Eighteen Nissan Sentra whatever it is from renting one. It works the same Volkswagen Golf as it does on a range rover it it that's. The magic of that? Yeah, it's it's like we we find that everybody wants. To I want to have this next feature I, want to do these things actually as humans we don't like that change creates that friction and that that rub that really brings up our inks. So being able to see that they've thought about how it works on this, you know this size screen versus my phone versus you know this I'm over here is really well thought out in in the structure that's behind that I think is very important to any design experience. So, it's a space. That Makes you emotional or or experiential? That you walk into every time more or one time. Yeah. That really really inspired you. I think we're lucky that I'm lucky because there's a space an near us designed by a very significant architect that to me is is really one of the most perfect buildings I've ever been in. A and that is the roofless church New Herminie designed by Philip Johnson and the the. When you walk into that building if he And it's a building without a roof, but the proportions of it are so excellent and there's something in that building or the way that the passer laid or where the sort of view area over the field and that the bottom of the river are that compels you to walk further into the building, your your moved forward through that building and there's multiple experiences in their you know. Sometimes I. Come in off the back side of it where where they're sort of A. Wall that blocks you from seeing at and then there's a surprise in it just impacts every time versus walking in at the end of the of the of the I don't even want to call nave because that's not really the right word for it in there. But this prominent feature almost as you come in through the large gates that is really different from that release more private experience coming in the back side that is is a is a building that that. Honestly, I would. I mean I wish I could put like an airstream trailer in their. One space. It's really accept that would spoil it. Yes. It's really a spectacular piece of architecture even separate from the art and sculpture that's in it. Even without it, you would feel human in that space because of how it's laid out a and you're an architect, you understand how that all works but it's it's really special I. I was also you know again. I got these questions and I was thinking about you know places where I always feel something in a building and and ironically I was thinking that I always feel them like kind of on the outside of the building more. So than the inside of the building except in certain certain ecclesiastic buildings like I think when when, when I'm in New York City The. Metropolitan. Opera when I'm in Lincoln Lincoln Center and you see this. It's there's a feeling of anticipation on the outside of the building. Yeah. You go inside and you see all this magic stuff happening. and. You know you're going to be treated to the highest level of of of artistry and all kinds of forms but when you're outside the sort of neo classic. Nineteen sixty seven sixty, eight sort of American, grandeur that is shown there in simple clean modern architecture that references back to the earliest architecture through a series of arches that makes you want to walk up and go through it. In the Hallway at set on the plaza and the Edward Darrell Stone building there on the other side kind of beyond when they put in the Time Warner Center. Things changed I shouldn't say ruined but things change but there was this feeling of. You know that was a time of a lot of unrest in new. York City and the rest of the world but. The people there had faith in their city and they built something that was really different than the sort of brutal is boxed in billings song a lot of other places and an appeals to me as a as a human to see what's going on. And explore and know that I feel you know safe to do that I, think that those are like one local sort of a trip that you can. Kind of. Plan in. A. Well as an architect space with her exterior in tears always about proportions and when it's done well, no way notices as much as what has done poorly, and you're like, they ruined it. Yeah. That's a great example because a lot of times you're like, what were they thinking why you know and it could come down to cost or may different factors you're like you just ruined this great moment That people had. With the space whether engaged how they engaged with it not. So I I think that's Pretty. Statement. So how does how to now we have personal experience and kind of digital experience and now spacial experience and how does that all tie together you know, Kinda when you think about delivering. What you do to the downtown community? Yeah. Well, I think It's very important that our work is instagram. -able. It's very important to us if we think about that like not just the visuals for the person that's there but the visual for. Any other followers and so for instance, I think a great example of that would be the the wall of light that we installed this year and I was thinking about I've seen on instagram so many time. Yeah and the and couple of the statements were this is an Evansville yeah where is this and it's the People's interaction with because they get parental interaction and and I might Recall a couple of weeks ago there on a Saturday night. I went down there and just kind of sat on a bench and watched and hundreds of people in the course of the early part of an evening It was cold but they were there taking pictures with their with their loved ones with their dates with some brought professional photographers with them. Yeah. Some were just doing sell fees and We have seen wedding pictures done their shot. You know obviously they have the ceremony and they're doing that you know our pictures or whatever. Going there. We've seen an engagement there and I know that that's GonNa live forever that wall of light that is only designed to last last one year. I mean I think that's kind of like a great example of how this all you know we. We took advantage of a space that was dead because of a fire. That space is being reborn. There's a developer working on that space right now. But how do we what were able to activate it? We leverage the resources that are ratepayers are property owners provide. To you know we told them we would give holiday decorations that we're going to have nice things we did that. And now because we've done that and it was done well, even though it simple, which is usually.

"One three eight one. Well. CNN mobster, boss. Jeff mothers hookers. We like to call him here in a friendly way. Just got a promotion, even though CNN's ratings are through the floor there tanking. Jeff mothers, ochre is doing quite well for himself. As the LA times reports at the south by southwest festival in March. CNN chief, Jeff mothers Acker was presented with a question. He's been hearing since President Trump's stunning. White House went in two thousand sixteen to have any regrets about giving Donald Trump's much coverage during the election said, a college student described himself, as an avid viewer of the news channel. How about people who question? Mothers, upper. About his liberalism, about his propaganda about the pseudo events about all, I guess that won't come up. Okay. Next question mothers equipped, but after getting a left from a crowd gathered on the patio of an Austin, Texas bar. The veteran news executive acknowledged that we made some mistakes, when airing Trump rallies live and unedited during the campaign, but he maintains it was not the reason Trump won. How could it be the reason Trump won? You thing when, in fact, you have no ratings mothers Booker fifty four was faced has faced farce harsher criticism for the president who riles up his supporters by citing CNN when he riffs on the media being the enemy of the people CNN anchors reporters get visits from the FBI to deal with threats that security around them has been stepped up. You know, they're not the only ones who get threats L A times, those mothers. Sucker has become a polarizing public figure in a hyper partisan nation. He's pleased one important constituency CNN's new parent, American Telephone. And telegraph AT and T. After six years of leading CNN to record profits. So they're making record profits by trashing the president of losing. Ratings go figure Zakar was rewarded with a new title of chairman a Warner media news and sports in March got that making him the company's maven of live TV. He'll now guide CNN through potentially epoch twenty twenty presidential campaign while exploring ways to expand Warner media's portfolio of sports properties, which include the NBA and the NCAA men's championship basketball tournament. The job taps into suckers passion for sports. He's a diehard Miami Dolphins fan with vivid recall the NFL teams undefeated season in nineteen seventy-two. He dealt with sports rights negotiations during his run as president of NBC universal. The elevated role is a relief to some CNN staffers, who feared Zucker, that is mothers, ochre would leave the network after the AT and T deal. You know all the speculation these big companies by these newsrooms and. They're gonna make them conservative responsible. They never happened. Never happens. The opposite happens. Motherfucker told the times in a recent interview. In his empty office at the Time Warner center that AT and T is respected CNN's journalistic independence, what journalistic independence you? You moron. There's nothing journalistic about CNN. Not. Oh, they respect. Our independence has left wing. Progressive democrat party social activists last fall AT and T donated a quarter of a million dollars to the committee to protect journalists an organization that defends press freedom around the how many of you have AT and T on your cell phones, or on your home and whatever. You think it's a little pricey. They just gave a quarter of a million dollars to the committee to protect journalists now. I'm not against protecting journalists obviously, but I'm for journalism, which they're not. The company was also completely on board when CNN went to court to reinstate, the White House press credentials correspondent, Jim Acosta. It helps it under suckers. Watch the network's annual profits have doubled a one point two billion lags behind rivals. Nielsen ratings. It's the only business I've ever heard of where you get killed in the ratings and you make more money. How is that possible? I'll tell you how it's possible I'll tell you have a theory about this. This is hush money. What do you mean? Mark. The advertisers figure if the poor enough money into these newsrooms CNN or NBC, your NBC, CBS ABC, what have you. They spend enough money on advertisements on the page of the New York slimes of the Washington compost, that they won't be targeted by these news entities. Nobody's ever done a study of this, that I'm aware of especially not the news. Especially not the news. I would like to know CNN is ever done. An investigative journalistic report negative on any of its major advertisers. They're supposed to be journalists right? Or for that matter, MSL St. if they have. So it's hush money. It's protection money. Let me put it though. That's what it is. Why did AT and T by CNN, the first place they don't need CNN protection money. But it Comcast by MSNBC, because they like out sharpen. No protection money. Why do people donate? Dow sharpens group or this group or that group protection money so they don't become targets. CNN's not going to report on eighteen t it doesn't. NBC and MSNBC are going to report on Comcast. They don't. And they're not going to. There's just too much money in it. So I'm sure the world is thrilled that Jeff mothers upper. He got a promotion of their day. Tinti. He sort of a walking dartboard. You understand what I mean? Mr. producer, oh, man. This guy has looks no fence. Nothing personal. Anybody know who Jill wine banks is, of course, not. Jill wine. Banks is a former assistant Watergate special prosecutor, I guess she was there for about fourteen minutes. So they dust these people off the put them on TV as if they're thirties, on something, their thirties on nothing zero Andrea Mitchell is a pretend journalist, she's a democrat party journalist, she's a propagandist and they social activists. She's been her entire career starting in Philadelphia as I recall. And she's on MSNBC MSL d like the constipated news or network. This isn't even like triple a ball. You know, you're trying to get into the majors baseball here in the triple eight that's the bottom. So this is this is like. Sixth grade kickball. It's it's way back there. So Andrea Mitchell s really tough questions of Jill wind banks. But all this power being given to the attorney general cut twelve go, have you can correct me if I'm wrong as any other attorney general in modern history, ever had unilateral, right? To declassify secrets over the DNA over the over the agents and let's not here. Because in your Mitchell is. Well, an idiot. It's been an idiot very long time. Andrea mitchell. This is the president of the United States who's delegated it to the attorney general, the president of the United States has completed thirty to do, I, I've never seen anything like this before, either, you actually have people dressed up as journalists doing what not wanting to see information. They used to love stealing it from the Pentagon papers go on and on all kinds of secrets printed. Hey, I the minutes are right at freedom of the press. And here you have the president say, I gotta get to the bottom of this. Let's get this stuff declassified authorize. The attorney general look at them. We'll put it out to the press, and the hey, don't show. Don't show us. I'm closing my I don't show us. You ever heard anything like this? Normally, the media would be thrilled foia requests, declassify requests, we want to see everything. Now, when it comes to under uncovering, what took place in the greatest scandal, and scam in American governmental history. They don't wanna know. I don't wanna know. He's a dictator. The attorney general sold is sold his soul. We, we just don't wanna know don't know we don't want to know about the investigators. So let's listen to this dust off. Former assistant deputy associate assistant deputy Watergate prosecutor. Go ahead. I don't think there's ever been anything comparable to this. But that's because almost nothing is comparable to any actions that Donald Trump takes why? Absolute legal genius. Absolutely brilliant. And you know, this is exactly why MSL brings her on. They know exactly what she's going to say she they know she's a moron. They know she's a parrot. At because almost nothing is comparable to any actions that Donald Trump takes. Now, the fact that Eric Holder was handing out pardons, like lollipops at the direction of Bill Clinton at the end of the Clinton administration, now that's not a problem. The fact that the senior level the FBI was conducting itself as the senior level, the KGB, therefore time under come now that doesn't move her. Now, Donald Trump, Donald Trump is saying anything like Donald, they all sound alike say, I'm a former federal Donald Trump. Donald trump. Former federal Donald Trump senior judicial, former federal go ahead. It's dangerous to allow the president to have the unilateral thority to declassify genius. I thought you were lawyer president has it a thorny. Eats dangerous to allow the president to have the universally Univer unilateral the thority to declassify things. Go ahead. Used it improperly in my view when he gave Israeli intelligence to.

"Numbers. Go to Philip in Delaware, Philip Morris. Boy, mark. How are you? Good, mark. I was listening to the CBS morning news. And they had this story about Donald Trump in the white nationalist. And the way they edited the story. They implied that Trump is a white supremacist. Unbelievable. How they do this. I know totally corrupt CBS NBC ABC there all democratic activists hard at work there. But why would you watch the CBS morning is the worst morning show in the world. Well. I try to look at it. Sometimes to see what the other side is up to the they're often their own side that I don't know. The good news about CBS, nobody watches it. So it can't do too much damage. Hello. Hey, the Hudson yards. Now, I didn't know what to make of it. It's a it's an enormous shopping mall. I noticed over the weekend. If you check Facebook or Instagram everybody from the suburbs came pouring in Long Island, especially in Long Island because you can take the train right to Penn station, and it's just behind Penn station, but EVA's everybody in Long Island everybody coming in to walk around Hudson yards that big stupid sculpture thing. It's like the sixteen floors of staircases. This is the big thrill you walk up and down these sixteen staircases. I don't know. It's a thrilling about that. And I noticed most people didn't walk up. They just kind of took a picture in front of this big monstrosity. So it's it got a lot of publicity this week with its big opening night party fifteen thousand people at the opening night. Basically if it's just a big shopping center if you've ever been to the Time Warner center, it's the same thing only ten times the size. It's the same guy. Steve Ross the same builder the same people as the Time Warner center. Now, there's such an yards much more spectacular looking. But you'll see it's the same thing as Time Warner center the same logos. The same signs the same everything. And what it is. It was planned twelve years ago under Bloomberg they began the planning what it is. Now is everything you don't need in two thousand nineteen a shopping mall when nobody goes to a shopping mall anymore, very expensive apartment buildings when that whole end of the market now is total. Dead enormous expensive office buildings. That nobody quite needs. But there was everybody Saturday and Sunday walking around the Hudson yards. They, oh, they have a Neiman, Marcus. I one ever New York. Now, there's a reason it's the first one ever in New York. There was never any reason for Neiman, Marcus to open a New York. That's why they never did see in Dallas or in Chicago or someplace or Boston Neiman, Marcus is a big deal because that's where you can get Louis tonner Gucci or or or measure all this stuff. You couldn't get anywhere else. But if you're in New York who needs it, you got the real Gucci. You get the flagship stores of everything you don't need this Neiman, Marcus. So there it is totally empty. The restaurants are very good. But they're the same restaurants from the Time Warner center. It's Michael lamonica has porterhouse great restaurant in Time Warner center. He just opened a second restaurant. Thomas Keller who has per se in Bhutan. He opened a second place in in the Hudson yards. So it's everybody's second or third or fourth restaurant. The only thing is really doing well that famous Spanish chef Andre whatever the hell is name is opened a big Spanish food court. That's where the big line was over the weekend. That so food court wise, but again who needs his food court. You get these all over the place from urban space to Italy to Time Warner center food courts everywhere. Fifteen hundred subway station has a food court. She was planning to go. Well, you should you live in the suburbs. This is what this is. What is their everybody from the suburbs walking around? Okay. Taken a few self fees and. You might say. Well, if it was packed with everybody from the suburbs this weekend problem is they're just there to look take. A few pictures are never coming back. It's like the Highline nobody the high line is the biggest waste of time ever. Everybody goes to walk the high line, and they never say we gotta come back here next week. That's one of those you saw it. You got a picture good? Let's get out of here. It's just take a picture to put on Facebook. That's all it's for. So the Hudson yards expected to be totally empty within a couple of weeks. Let's go to Mike in new providence. They mike. Yeah. I just don't understand. If Trump is responsible. His rhetoric is responsible for something that happens in New Zealand. Why wasn't Obama's rhetoric re scoring Islam and back lives matter responsible for Fergus in Baltimore, the Orlando shooting because he's a democrat much more direct connection between Obama's rhetoric and those vans than there ever would be between Trump's rhetoric and idiot in New Zealand. Yeah. Well, this guy's just in New Zealand, but you know, another point is these white supremacists marches rallies attacks have been going on every year. We had them all the time during every single year of the Obama presidency was just never played up. If anything is escalated this. They've had the same exact terrorist attacks the same exact white supremacists. Marches the same exact white supremacist rallies. All during Obama as soon as Trump got office. They started promoting them. They started doing massive coverage. The first one was some. Nazi group meeting in Washington. Some kind of convention will if you check you find a convention every year during Obama's time. But as soon as Trump was in office, they put them on the network news every night Washington Post your times front page, you give them tons of coverage. You gotta figure that kind of inspires nuts out there to come. Join this stuff. So you democratic activists Chuck Todd Lester Holt, all you people. You may be actually increasing this movement with your ridiculous over the top coverage. Hey when we come back. Michael Goodwin will be with us are the smartest. Best columnist in America. We'll talk to him next on seven ten W O R. Let's get the latest news. Here's Joe Barton. "You drive in your in their fifteen minutes orchids of Asia, whatever that thing is called Bob Kraft doesn't spend twenty thousand a month and entertainment. I have no idea. What what did she hire like clowns and jugglers rows? And what else does she want? It just goes on and on the judge did give her thirty seven thousand a month. For temporary alimony, plus an extra five thousand a month to cover up to cover for unpaid back alimony. That's the problem. You've got to really think before you get married when you're when you're one of these serial murderers, you can't get rid of these people that easily because every time you get divorced. You lose half your wealth. And he makes the point. He's right. He offered her. A lot of money says he gave her seven million during the marriage, which is pretty good. They got like four or five houses will give it to them. These are very expensive property that should be enough money. No, it's up now. Big mistake. Well, but he didn't have a lot of even have any money. Then he was still mayor of New York. He made a fortune after he got. But at the time he didn't have any money. So no pre-nup. But you know, you give her a couple of those houses seven million giver throwing another five or six million that should be enough. You would think that's. I don't know. I don't know how she's entitled to half. You know, the wife will always argue it was because I was there by his side dish able to be so six believe me would have made more money without you there. They always argue me as his wife hosting dinner party without you. He would have done much better. You could have had more time to work. You know, the wife always says why in the office so late got to come home early without that wife, you could've stayed till midnight every night, he could've made even more money. So we got lots to get to tell you about that Hudson yards. They had the big opening night last. Now, this is one big waste of time. This place there is nothing there, you know, the centerpiece of it is the biggest most incredible shopping mall. You've ever seen who the hell needs a shopping mall. Nobody goes to a mall anymore. Novalis suburbs. They do. They don't make a big the big thing is the Neiman, Marcus. I even Marcus ever ever. It's like opening a Sears. Now. It's too late. It's there's a Neiman. Marcus in Westchester that hasn't had a customer in two years. Nobody goes to these things anymore once or twice the only reason that go don't people you see in these stores they bought it online. And they want to return it. Feel like mailing it back. But what about that thing that you walk up and duplicitous looking thing the vessel. You what it is? It has all these stairs one staircase afternoon. Going. Gotta go up six. Flights of stairs. Eight flights of stairs to take the second avenue. Subway to seventy second street. They got just as many stairs. And that station that doesn't even sound like fun that fun. If you live in an apartment building, there's a stairway. This is stairwell with a right here in this building. We've got thirty full floors of stairs. I can go right down here. Go up and down stairs. If that's so much fun. No take a necessary. There is nothing in this place. Now, even this oughta restaurants, all what they did was he took all the best restaurant guys around New York, not all of them. But some of them and had them open another restaurant so wound needs that you go to the original restaurant. This is Steve Ross. Who's a great guy? He's the chairman of related and he owns the Time Warner center. So what he did he got a lot of the same. Chefs. He used to Time Warner center. Michael the Monaco. Who has porterhouse Thomas Keller, and he had them do another restaurant. So what you just go to Time Warner center. It's easier to get the Time Warner center. You'll miss the view. The view is better at Time Warner center. Go up in the restaurants in Time Warner center, you're looking over central park. You'll see it's a much better view this. No, the reason this happened is this was twelve years ago. They decided all this not who would have known retail would die shopping malls with die Neiman, Marcus would die who would have guessed that back. Then. We should have known. So I mean, can you imagine if you lived in anywhere Manhattan, you said we got over there? They've got restaurants and stores. Can you imagine being in SoHo and sanctuary house stores restaurants, and we don't have that? Let's go over there. I mean, you live in the suburbs or you die in the see this. Well, I am kind of. Okay. That's what they might get the suburbanites will come in on Saturday and Sunday when it's not a lot of traffic. Right. They'll go walk around new neighborhood to visit they'll walk around and you'll never see them again in Hudson yards. A guarantee every single person goes to walk around. Hudson yards will never return. I keep reading though, they'll be one hundred and twenty five thousand people have been meeting a hundred people living there. You're lucky is going to buy an apartment there. It's the worst location. It is a knuckle subways. It. A but they did put a new subway. Stop is one train the seven train. But it doesn't go up or downtown. It goes cross town. It's the most useless subway in the world. That's not gonna help. Yeah. It doesn't go. All you can just go up and down forty second street go anywhere else. So anyway, if you were there or you go what a party last night, you keep you see on the news like it was the most Dr started party. There was no start the company that built it is related. That's the construction company. It was forty two hundred junior executives at work at related with their wives. That was the whole party. And then maybe two people you heard of and not even the mayor. He'll be there today, though, will take some calls in a minute. Eight hundred three to one zero seven ten is the number now watch this. We have video we've discovered secret. Video of beta O'Rourke meeting with Joe Biden, take a look at this. Also, oh, this is great President Trump just destroying beta O'Rourke on his hands. Watch Trump take apart beta O'Rourke, also the college scandal watch this watch Rodney Dangerfield bribe his way into college and watch.

"Feel new again. Yes. Number. Five. All right started with a bang to of course, Chicago took it on the chin. So right. The opening you have Michael going saying this. He wants to ask me if I can name a country run by a black person that wasn't a poll. This was one Barack Obama was president of the United States. And while we were once driving through struggling neighborhood in Chicago, he commented that only black people could live that way. And he told me that black people would never vote for him because they were too stupid. And yet I continue to work for him. Oh that was tough to hear. The whole country thing we've heard that over and over and over again. So we to go piece of it was was new driving around actually that they had heard that story before that he had said that about Chicago, and he's called Chicago, all sorts of names. Yes. But I'd heard it not only black people can live here is why would people live here? That's the original story that I heard on the guy was massive tower right in the center in the heart of the city with his neighbor across we understand why they're there, but not not the rest of it. By the way, they're not allowed live there. Willing to pay thirty percent over market per square foot. Now, people get get out of those apartments. That's the crazy thing about it. People are trying to they when the listings it's not the Trump Tower, Chicago is four or four north Wabash or four hundred dollars. She has and it's not the beautiful views, and it does it's a beautiful building beautiful views. Style right now, tell them it's Trump Tower just give them the threats. What will give it away? When they pull up we'll go on the other side. They won't see religious. Don't take them by the Riverview. Gorgeous Riverview here. You should approach down Wabash. It's a it's a quaint little St.. Sort of around there. But I guess I'll definitely do not be realtors. Too, much, traffic and weather doorman has the Trump on behalf. They put they put tape over white mass. Give them a twenty to do that. The client around what hotels this? I don't know. Is there a hotel you promise, you tend to put his name everywhere? It just so it's kind of hard to put clever them all up at the tape. It is true. I've stayed in front properties in New York. A number of times or the Trump SoHo which came up today during the hearings is one of my favorite hotels in America. You sat in the trash can there was a Trump name. You can't then that's so much that hotel the Trump International, which is across from the the Trump International is right across from the Time Warner center in New York is a matter of fact, which really funny is when you watch CNN, and they put a reporter or guest or whatever in a window, and they're looking out the window in New York. You're looking right at the Trump International hotel in Chicago, you're looking right at the Trump hotel as well the Trump building here, but they frame the shot. So you don't see the big words Trump. Or the New York buildings which is really funny how they do that. But anyways, the point is the Trump International in New York that is it's a little older than the SoHo and the so he doesn't really want to be associated with anymore. As a matter of fact, they have taken the name off of that. Because that's that guy that convicted Russian mobster that he was working with that came up in the in the testimony today that built that hotel with him. So that sort of like we don't want to mention anymore, but the Trump International in Columbus circle in New York City, there is when you walk into your room. It is like Eric Trump for up in it. It's the it's nothing but Trump logos. And names everywhere. I counted twenty seven times in the bathroom alone your account in the bathroom alone. Because it's on the moisturizer. It's on the it's on the shampoo the conditioner the bar of self the trash. Liner as as you pointed out that a little oily at the bottom of the trash thing the toothbrush toothpaste, the flaws everything is getting their gold, tea or the Trump. It really is amazing. Give the guy credit for that. Does the building in New York? Also, look like it's giving the middle finger to the city. No, it's it's an older building. But it is anything anytime you watch like New York, and they're trying to show central park at the window. There's a gold, of course, golden black building that is just to the left of that. There's like looking at fountain or a statue in a circle. That's Columbus circle the building right across that is the Trump International. Great bar. Great. Great restaurant. It's great. The Trump properties. I'm gonna tell you if he'd just status hotelier I'd be the happiest guy in the world. You get you get a big bang for your buck. The building here's pretty Austin. Over the river. Mar-a-lago is beautiful. Got the Trump golf courses are excellent. Just stay there. These trust me. He's thinking the same thing right now. He's right now, look at it Kim Jong going on my God, first of all Chinese foods. If you have any idea how long that flight is. And I gotta go to the bathroom and this little guys looking at me has to blow everybody up because he kills everybody doesn't like they had octopus. Okay. Can't eat activists. It's just like slimy. The fingers giving fingers with suckers item. I wish I wish I had only been the president of the Trump organization. I gotta do this here. Here we go number four. Congressman Alexandra Casio Cortez got to make her national debut as an inquisitor today, by the way, Mike Monico. He woke up for that for her testimony. I noticed he was slumped a little bit. That's kind of hard to sit through that many hours. And then they call Taza in Mexico. What where oh she's here. Okay. The she asked about an of course, because she's she's a socialist. She asked about the president's assets and finances. Here knowledge to the president ever provide inflated assets to an insurance company. Yes. Who else knows that the president? Did this Allen Weisselberg Ron Liebman, and Matthew calamari, and where were the committee? Find more information on this. Do you think we need to review his financial statements and his tax returns in order to compare them? And you'd find it at the Trump. I also have to hate calamari. In the same categories octopus except this slimy air and little fingers deep fried. It's pretty good. Eating Siamese, spiders. I will not eat it. I McDonald's the chicken tender. So you gotta wonder. Fish. I I do like the like a children's table at the hearing today and all the new freshman congressman got to ask you a question. And then we got a question the same. If I mentioned, but they, but they rolled them altogether. Just weird they rolled the Democrats together. Denver Republican democrat Republicans. I don't know how that whole thing where we were on the air at the time. I was watching on TV as it was happening. Oh my God. All right. We'll get to your three two and you want first let's check in with Eric. What's going on in the newsroom? Trump's former attorney warns the country. What may happen? If Trump doesn't win reelection in twenty twenty lots of problem areas on the tri-state this afternoon..

"Devices have been found in the mail sent to former secretary of state Hillary Clinton, former President Barack Obama. And now, they are evacuating the CNN center. The Time Warner center in New York City, a suspected explosive device. Has turned up there as well. It has been an incredibly fast moving day in a number of locations beginning around one o'clock in the morning when the FBI says a suspicious package was discovered near the home in Westchester county in Chappaqua New York of Bill and Hillary Clinton at the same time. The secret service said it intercepted, a similar device at the Washington DC residents of Barack and Michelle Obama, and we've just in the last couple of minutes heard that the NYPD bomb squad was on scene at CNN in New York at the Time Warner center in Columbus circle investigating a suspicious device there right now the traffic around the CNN headquarters in New York at Time Warner center in Columbus circle has been halted subway service beneath has been temporarily stopped at a number of floors of the Time Warner center have been evacuated including the mail room where this suspicious package was discovered. A lot of. Police have shown up here, and they completely blocked off much of fifty eighth street. So that's just south of Columbus circle. Which is one of the biggest shopping centers in in Manhattan, but in especially on the Upper West side of New York, they have actually circled off and stop people from going to wear. The Columbus statue is in the middle of Columbus circle. Obviously right here you've got a CNN headquarters, you've got Trump International hotel. So a lot of a key pieces as part of the city. But right now, I understand is that there was that suspicious device that was received this morning at a short time ago. I saw members of the terrorism unit for the NYPD show up here as I said they've blocked off entire section of fifty eight which is where the front of time water headquarters are and so obviously the investigation is still ongoing here, but a scene right now where a lot of people standing around trying to figure out what exactly what happened but a short time ago. I actually saw one of those trucks that appears to have one of those. Secured units where they can place a suspicious device like this and potentially render that device safe that they needed to. I saw that arrive a short time ago. And as I mentioned, we've certainly seen members of the counterterrorism unit show up here, and we know that around the city today members of that counterterrorism unit and they're Dawes to to help sniff out items should there be other suspicious?
