"You get free shipping on your first order Let's do do the first interview charlie cox. He plays daredevil but also in other things he was an absolute delight. Here's our interview with With charlie cox are i. We are very pleased to be joined now by charlie cox. The most dissected probably photographs of arms and in the world right now I just saw so. It's funny because before. I interview jack and i talked and i said i don't think he's talked about it yet but i just got a twitter notification about it so we'll talk about your forearms in your hands later. We don't talk about that now i. I'm sure you're excited to have just many questions about. Hey you see the screen shot or those your hands. I'm sure that's that's exciting stuff yet. Nothing knowing that. I'm not gonna talk about it. You know what. I mean like like the on one because you know like i don't really i i don't i don't have social media so i don't. I'm not aware of like the the impact. It's hard for me to kind of quantify. not it. I don't really get it but you know i kind of hear about it from my mom i mean but the more i hear about it regard you know without you know. Never the thing is lost. There's nothing i can say. Either way i wouldn't want to spoil it. You know the lossing would do just want to spoil it. But there's i was literally thinking about. How do i answer these questions. Without wanting to to confirm or deny because i don't want to spoil it for anyone you know so after would just get all have to wait and see exactly exactly before us every. You're just in a movie. Now it's like. I mean every every little thing is dissect. We'll we'll talk about later. We'll talk first though about ken debuts. "To serve your community as a nursing professional conditions for bonuses apply so we obviously as data such a big issue that now in a job posting. You had to say oh. By the way we're not going to enforce a vaccine mandate and. I'm telling you right now jeffrey. As we speak they are now being pounded by the thousands and thousands of nurses across this nation that are watching the wire. Nebraska is going to be the place you want to be. You need to go into a hospital. Because it'll probably be the one place that they're not overrun because they are not pushing the mandate and it's the right what what's crazy about. It is what a self fulfilling prophecy. It is for biden to make the statement. And it's exactly what you do right. Go ahead and set up against your enemy. It's their fault. That what i'm gonna do is going to clear out the hospital so that they'll all be overrun. He is literally passing a law. That is clearing nurses and doctors you know by the thousands across this nation out of hospitals leaving them unable to take care of patients and then when they get it will be the unvaccinated. Did it no mr biden. It will be your fault. You did this. This should be laid at your feet as we can now see across the nation. It seems you know. Just they're all this all coming together right like they're all singing the same song. Yeah they're seeing from the same hymn book that's for sure and that is so by by by the end of august about forty percent of all. Us hospitals has some kind of mandate in place before biden took to the podium on timber ninth and already had articles like this foregoing mandates it says some hospitals are forgoing vacc- mandates to avert staffing shortages this mainstream headlines. And so how. It's basically what it says in there. These larger city hospitals have deeper pockets. So they can pay traveling nurses from out of state to come in and fill shortages but the rural hospitals and we're seeing headlines all over the country the rural hospitals having problems with the shortest because they don't have the pockets to to to fund those those traveling nurses and even the national guard is been stepping up but again if you have a small hospital national guard that doesn't qualify you two hundred beds or under so they can't help you so these real hospital saying look we were stuck in a rock and heart place because we can't do these vaccine mandates because we're literally have to shutdown are a certain wards or certain services if we do that. So here's the good news out of new york. A judge has blocked the mandate in the state of new york. Us reuters blocks. New york vaccine mandate for healthcare workers is a federal judge. He blocked the state from enforcing the requirement for healthcare workers with religious exemptions. Now there are seventeen. Doctors nurses saying their constitutional rights were violated because the states mandate disallowed those religious exemptions. So the the state of new york has until september twenty second to respond to the lawsuit and if they want to challenge this they're going to go to court in here or arguments on september. Twenty eighth so this thing is hot and ongoing right now and You know maybe a template for the rest of the country. We know it's amazing. It's amazing jeopardy to see the journey. We've been on for those people out there. That i met me and i met you around the country with baxter and this was a conversation. No one was having a forest vaccines on our kids. Nobody seemed to care. But now it's just as. I said jeffrey just as i said over the last several years once it becomes about the adults being vaccinated. You watch how they step up and fight. That will be our moment because people just march their children right into experimental vaccines but the second is going to be them. And i know people want to think they're better than this. They want to say no i. I would throw my body my child to protect my child but but before all else well how do you explain happen. This country saying no. I don't believe in mandatory vaccines only when it's coming after you as adult. It's okay forgive yourself but now wake up and let's get the job done amazing right and speaking about experimental vaccines something. We've covered consecutive weeks in a row on this show. Is the vaccine. Booster the third dose. That they're talking about so biden. Brought that up in his speech. Listen to this okay for the vast majority of you who've gotten vaccinated. I understand your anger at those who haven't gotten vaccinated understand anxiety about getting a breakthrough case but as the science makes clear if you're fully vaccinated. You're highly protected from serious even if you get covert ninety in fact. Recent data indicates there's only one confirmed positive case for five thousand fully vaccinated americans per day. You're a safest possible. We're doing everything we candy. Keep it that way. Keep it that way. Keep you safe. That's her boosters. Committed the shots that give you even more protection than after your second shot now. I know there's been some confusion about boosters so let me be clear. Last month our top government doctors announced and initial plan for booster shots from vaccinated americans. They believe that the booster is likely to provide the highest level of protection yet. Of course the decision of which booster shots to give when to start them and who will give them will be left completely to the scientists at the fda in the spanish resists control..

Don't you want if you want to go to a new team to raise your to have a value for the texans. You know when you go on the free market the show teams that you can actually play versus us sitting out and it becomes this huge question. Mark and teams. Don't know do i wanna make this investment. Consoles: The Dreamcast's Life After Death

"It's Timber Ninth. Nineteen Ninety nine nine nine ninety nine and somewhere in Japan. A spy has made her way. Deep into a mainframe. Computer she hacks. In and disables. A security guard investigates she knocks him out with a well-placed kick with the computer system. It comes to life. Everything goes a strange swirling pattern. Pops up on the monitors. It's obvious that the system is thinking the spy folks. The thicky computers out to stop her. It tries to lock her inside the building. The spy smashes through a window but not before she grabs a case and lungs off with inside that case a prototype for a new kind of machine that could change. Everything describing was a television commercial called apocalypse. It was promoting the newest video game console from Game Company. Sega and no ordinary console either. This revolutionary device was called the dreamcast in that apocalypse ad. What's inside the case? This is stealing. Is that very consul? Well then the dreamcast Box it sort of spins off of the back of the thief and lands in the street and the the the lid of this magic case kept the box plug. In the whole time POPs open camera's zooms into the dreamcast and into the window and goes down to the bottom where it appears that all the characters from all the Games are all gathered and there we have sonic down there and he he triumphantly says we got in the whole place rupp's and everybody's screaming. That's Brian and Pacino. The creative director of the apocalypse ad campaign and the Sauna keys referring to is sonic the Hedgehog Sega's famous game character in the nineties. Seca was one of the most recognized video game companies in the world. The by the end of that decade the competition was proving to be fierce so up at the House on dreamcast. It would be the company's Savior. The apocalypse ad was described as the most epic video game commercial ever created. But how else to show off the most advanced game console ever made so smart. You could almost say it really was thinking. Alas the dreamcast did not change world. It barely made a dent. It's considered by some to be the greatest console that never stood a chance. It was the last console Sega would build and had very nearly broke the company in our penultimate episode of the season a season all about hardware. That changed the course of development. We look at the short lived history of the Sega dreamcast yet. Despite the short shelf-life dreamcast is still considered by many to be one of if not the finest gaming consoles of all time and twenty years after its death it manages to live on in a very real way. I'm throwing at Barak and this command line. Heroes and the littoral podcast from hat like thinking computer in the apocalypse ad that whisper thanking became the company's new tagline for their new console. So the thought of having our our veal always whisper. It's thinking we thought that would be a really neat way to to sort of evolve that icon sake scream. Here was a console that got smarter as he played. At least. That was the marketing Pinch Console. That brought something new something big something live. Aleutian aries to the home video game market. A system built to serve the hardcore Gamer and inside the company. The thinking was that this console would make Sega. The biggest name in video gaming fish was going to change gaming. This was going to change the world so what happened to figure that out. We need to go back all the way back to level one throughout the early nineties. Sega had a reputation for making gains. There were super cool and more mature than what the competition offered particularly intendo. And it's princess saving plumbers. They built this reputation with a very successful console Sega Genesis. Sega decided they were going to be really cutting edge. And these kids who had had the Nintendo's that will now they're teenagers and they want they want real sports games with real teams. They want bloody fighting games like mortal Kombat which came later on and they wanted a more mature it. Your face sort of system. Alex Handy is the founder and director of the Museum of Art and Digital Entertainment in Oakland. California he also works for Red Hat if you go back and look at ads from video game magazines in this period. They're kind of shocking their ads. Where there's like a bloody severed arm with gristle coming off of it and it says this is your best weapon against the Bad Guy Light. So Sega does really really well with this extreme in your face. Sort of successive genesis will sonic the hedgehog sort of impertinence as opposed to Mario's oshkosh b`Gosh overalls kind of happy theme. More than thirty million. People bought the SEGA GENESIS. A sixteen bit console that played games from cartridges. Gamers around the world loved it but over time sake struggles to grow as user base after Genesis. They introduced a thirty two bit. Sega Saturn more powerful than genesis. It display both two D and Basic Three D. Graphics but the Saturn Platform never really took off sales struggled. They managed to sell nine point. Two million consoles only a third of what the genesis sold another sticking point developers found a challenging to program games for Saturn's proprietary in house designed hardware. This was an issue. Sega made note of for the future. Add to that the launch of nintendo sixty four and then Sony's first entry into the market with the playstation and gaming was suddenly getting crowded and very competitive in one thousand nine hundred eight. Sega posted a loss of two hundred seventy million dollars. North American headquarters video game. Boss Bernie store announces that quote. The Saturn is not our future. He kills the console with that. Sega turns its focus to building the next generation of council level to building the dream. The Sega Saturn had hurt the company's brand and bottom line if sega was going to reclaim its market share and reputation. This next console needed to be powerful easy to co for and unlike anything else

"I talked a lot about the media about how it's treating the president the fake news. And so on the other day, I saw he's video somebody sent it. Don't watch CNN, but somebody sent me the video, and it was Don lemon, a CNN host. He's not a journalist, he's a host. And he's extremely biased. Was interviewing Jim Acosta who alleges to be a reporter or a journalist, he's not he's a self serving dolt who was kicked out of the White House press corps for good reason they should never have let him back in. He's a guy who just can't stand the president and asks the stupidest questions you've ever seen like the other day was a few weeks ago, maybe a month ago he asked Kellyanne Conway, will the president speech tonight. Pass a fact check a journalistic question that's an idiot, trying to make a scene and trying to get noticed that. Unfortunately, it works, I wish it didn't. But unfortunately he does. So we've got that for you and Levin. And a sitting there with each other. Saying the most ludicrous things like CNN is not biased against President Trump just stupid. I know I hear you stupid. We're unbiased, we are not anti-trump. That's not true. Where pro truth? That's not true. Jimmy cost himself has reported some of the worst fake news against president. So I, I had Brent Boselli on this week, I interviewed him a couple of days ago. He's the guy from MRC newsbusters. He's the guy from CNN news and he's got a new book out about the media going after this president Brent. Appreciate coming on. How are you? Thank you. Thank you for having me. Really? Appreciate you taking the time this new book, unmasked, big media's war against Trump. I've never seen a more truthful headline or title for a book in my life, this media, and I call them the, the legacy media because they really are kind of old. Tired has done everything that can, and it's continuing to, to to derail this president. He's not having it but they're not going away. What when did you know, and I'm guessing early on because again, you're that guy wouldn't you know, this was this was a foot when they were doing this. That campaign. It's a good question. Because when the campaign began he was a well known entity because he was a Hollywood person from the apprentice, and he'd been in the media. You know, he was a medium person right for most of his adult life. But when the campaign started they looked at him as a joke. They ridiculed they laughed at him. And I think they really thought they hang this around the Republican party as campaign win, on in noticed how he got close close to I of the nomination and then to the election. And in this in the same way, the media became more and more hostile towards him by the end of the campaigns by two thirds of the way through the campaign, which is was eight was in a concerted effort on the part of the quote unquote news media to prevent him from getting the presidency and a sense that the moment he won the election. They had been in the mode of removing him from the presidency. The important thing, Joe is. Is that we are in the middle of this campaign. They can't remove them. But what they can do is to hurt him enough by projecting evil illegal activity to prevent him from winning reelection and that's been the purpose from the very beginning. It is Brent Bozell going at this book, it's amazing. It's called unmasked, big media war against Trump, as you may or may not know, I went to the White House. I interviewed the president, one of the first questions I asked him was more of a statement than a question. You're immediate Arlington. Everybody loved you wanted to be part of the Trump clan. They wanted to go in and spend time of our law, go, they wanted to be on the apprentice. They want the celebrity apprentice, people sold their books movies, TV shows, if they were associated with you. Everybody kissed up to you kissed your ring, basically wanted to make a deal with Trump, now you're running for president, and you're the enemy, did you take them seriously? And he said, no, he didn't think that they would go this far because he really did think that they are his friends rented, you see that as. Researching this in writing the book, did you see the same sort of thing that he, he thought he was part of what they were doing? Sure, sure. Because he had he had been part of those in that in a circle remember is also Manhattan, so almost zero of the news media, so socially, it wasn't just looking if you logically wasn't a conservative at first, he had liberal pedigree and his for Manhattan. And so it was a social thing as well. The divorce could have been. Right. A right away at he saw right away when they turn on him. Just how vicious could be he also understood the enemy of my friend is, is my enemy you knew. But thinking a fight with them. He was going to win that. And he's beginning. It's Brent Bozell, by the way, you see s news as a valid real source all the time in my show, I can't use these other guys. And I appreciate that. Marcy is amazing is Brent Zell at big media, organs. Trump is the subtitle of the title is unmasked going. Get this book is a must read the times, Washington Post CNN MSNBC. They will lie. Now I was a journalist for a long time. Television news anchor I wanted to get it right. I actually took pride going home say man. We nailed that story. We broke that story. We did really well with that. These guys and gals will lie maybe a granules of truth to make it seem real and that's unfortunate, but even more unfortunate Brenton what you expand expand upon this. If you can. Is that the viewing and consuming public half of them believe them? That's the real problem. Look, people have been, I think back in the day in the seventeen hundreds, they would say the, the guy running against me syphilis, don't vote for him. I mean, they would just make up crap all the time back then. But now you've got a an audience that wants to hate the president. They wanna believe the fake news. And that's probably why they're doing so well, is it not? When you were in this business number one, you had no problem calling yourself reporter. No reporter anymore. Journalist, I just love it how nighttime report stores and in the morning, they analyze on the talk shows that started their own stories. But would, you know, when the president started talking about the fake news media? It was a comfortable with that because I don't believe that it's fake. But it is. All right. We with example after temple, giving example, bland, rots reports that Don Flynn was was sent by by the president to talk to the Russians confirming collusion with the Russians right market, tanked about three hundred points until you found out there was one any bitty little thing that was left out which was from sent him after the election, which was exactly what you're supposed to do is job right that we got in a mass. We've got example after example after examples of the media actually making up stories and putting them in there and it was all designed to keep on the front page collusion. Collusion's collusion, collusion, every single things think about this joke than negative coverage ninety five ninety two ninety one eighty nine ninety three ninety one month after month after month. When you've got such successes in this administration, undeniable successes. And yet it's over ninety percent negative on a regular basis. This is a media that are completely unhinged. The guardrails are down. They have won. It is not the tell the truth, the goal is to remove this man from office. But the book is unmasked. Big media's mortgage, trumpet is Brent Bozell going get this right now? It's also written by Tim Graham. So as we're watching this unfold. We see a cost of who is a walking fake news report. Just everyday walking breathing talking fake news guy. I mean, the fact that the president didn't visits Gleason hospital here reported that, of course he did. Visit them see then reported that the Democrats gathered to pray for Scalise. Well, it was really Democrats and Republicans in the picture. Sure, what they said Democrats, other than fake news. New York Times, reporting that yes, indeed Trump Tower was tapped. But in the recordings, they heard some sort of collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign, the Trump administration, which, of course, was completely fake. You outline that in the book did people realize Brent how deep this goes? That this is really them kicking and screaming and throwing a tantrum that they can't believe this guy. One does the consuming public understand the depth that which these people are, are stooping to try to get what they want. Could question. And having some new some don't some have had their worst confirmed about this. You know, people ask me CNN ever recovered, credibility meisters now, I think its shot I don't like saying it, but his shot as a new, you realize that seeing how CNN now has seven hundred sixty one thousand viewers that ladies and gentlemen, there are. That's two tenths of one percent of the American population are more people who own pet chickens than watch CNN. There are more prostitutes in America than there are CNN. Well Packard, Alexa, Jim Acosta. Now, Jim Acosta, we came when we did our top ten warsh report, Jim came in, as the number one worst, Donald Trump fashion, and the book we said he doesn't want to report the story, he wants to be the story is an interesting just come out with a book all about himself, what I was gonna ask you thoughts in that it's Brent. He'll get unmasked big media's war against Trump. It's important read. I want you to go and get it, Jim Acosta, alleging to be a journalist covering the White House, as you write a rights of book about covering the White House. I'm friends with Dan Bongino, Dan Bongino, it's a secret service agent with a guy at four guy that he said, he would take a bullet for that. He disagreed with administratively and gender wise. Brock obama. He waited till he wasn't a secret service agent anymore. Then he wrote the book, how do you do that, while you're still allegedly journalist covering the White House slamming the White House in your book? Is that possible? Yeah. When you work for CNN anything's possible. What happens that journalist? You remember the old Bernie Scholz the anchor for CNN? Before the first Gulf war, when he became a, a bit of a celebrity. Knew where he was on any issue, because he the quintessential reported, he was a news anchor, but quintessential reporters, that's all gone out the window at CNN. Everyone wants to be a personality MSNBC. Everybody wants to be a personality, their numbers, you're taking and it's interesting. They began the tank as soon as the Muller report came out, because the Muller were showed there was. No there there. And guess what? There's also no there there at CNN and MSNBC. It's Brent Zell. Big needs against Trump is the subtitle, the important titles, unmask go and get this right now. I was going to bring up an art Shaw because everybody me included. We were glued to hearing him crawling around his hotel room in Iraq as the war started, and I believe it was a rocket very vivid to me hearing him whispering as he's trying to try to find some cover. This was a real guy in this scene in the stuff if you will who was crawling around just doing a job to inform. Mm, you and form our families and inform me. And that's what we expected from CNN. That's the rise. Eight stunning. How low they've fallen and you truly believe they can't get it back. Nine don't think you can. Because when when you look at CNN you look at a network that twenty four seven is bashing this precedent, that has given up any bested of objectivity. And so they're not. They can't. They just simply cannot go to the American people, and say that were objective, as soon as Trump administration. They can't say it now they're not gonna be able to say later, they have our book says, in, in, in the book timber nine right? That this, the media the set out to destroy president and destroy themselves, instead and this really is what they've done there. There is there's no happiness and mud Ville. When I say this because journalism is an is a noble profession, destroyed by these people, and look the the repercussions. The ripple effected all throughout the media. Everyone's been damaged by this, because everyone is now looking at the meal with jaundice eye, not quite believing what they're getting gap you research last week, as you know, said that more people are concerned about fake news, terrorism and that stunning to me. It's Brent Bozell unmasked, big media's war against Trump. He writes it with Tim Graham one one last quick, one is the left and the media collusion ever gonna stop. And what I mean is this specifically about Trump because Mullah report came out Muller, walks out, and he does that ridiculous nine minutes thing. A couple of days later, he actually corrected himself that the media's all ignore that he corrected what he said a few days before. But, but now the media is getting up something that will, of course is obstruction. Of course it's high crime. Of course, there has to be impeachment native Pelosi singlets in the guy, not worry about impeachment will the media stopped because look when I would go up to bed and I played little league baseball like so many did. And if I swung three times missed it. I struck out it was done..

Though radio show where you don't have to check your brain the door on the biggest stick in the states and now live from the annex wealth management studios at Radio City. Here's Steve skip eating and good morning. Wisconsin nine eight thirty seven Chile degrees on this April twenty nine ninth has we wind out the month of April, this kind of a treat a I've known my next guest for a little bit of time kind of going back and forth met at some events. But joining me in studio is cavalier. Chevy. Johnson the aldermen from the second district right in Milwaukee. Yes, sir. Welcome. Thank you. Good to see you. Glad well looking exactly the same. As the last time. I just. On your. Well, they make me just like this. That's not the proper tire. I think most people just like this. I tried to take it a little step further be little styles. Thanks to my wife. But yeah, it's almost of us. So I know you're running for reelection. In April, right absolutely makes people Syria. So this is your first term. Yes. How'd you get into this business? I was actually reflecting on this last night with my wife, and I will be thirty four in twenty young man. And I started off wanted to get into this most fourteen two things happened that you're in February I was recruited into a pre college program called sponsor a scholar with YMCA and the goal that program is to get young people like myself, low income and Milwaukee public schools off to college, and I did that when TWA Madison badgers. And the other part of that is to get those same young people involved in community service and given back and it just fell in love with the service part of it later on that year. I was a freshman in high schools timber nine eleven happened. And I watched President Bush go to what was left the World Trade Center. And when I watched President Bush just sort of bring people together, I just moved in there that I could continue doing the service that I fell in love with with why and going into government to be the vehicle that I did to serve you. So when you make that decision, and you get elected there's the reality of. Okay. This is what the the nuts and bolts of the job are. So how how is that transition? How did that feel like you? Well, fortunately, I had some experience in that. I run for office pertinent prior to being elected alderman here. In addition. I had worked at mayor Barrett's office for a little bit before I automatically won election myself. But it is it is a fast pace, you know, sort of job. There's no training wheels. There's no really manual. You just got to get there and figure it out. So. When you when you go to work now, and you just did a bunch of door knocking over the weekend as part of your reelection campaign. What are folks telling you about Milwaukee? What's the big burning issue on their mind? Well, one of the big issues that's on people's mind right now, and it's been in other parts of media as well. And folks, tell me about this on the doors to is our pursue policy. Folks want to make sure that their neighborhoods are safe. And I was one of the thirteen of fifteen common council members a couple of years back that worked with the fire and police commission in order to get the policy change to what it is. Currently from what it was. And I think that's something that's important because what happened prior to the current policy was that people who were bad actors felt that they could drive around on the streets and act with impunity, essentially, they felt emboldened just fleet. Absolutely. Let me so and my older minute district. I have to police district police district seven and police district for and I've got a great relationship with a number of the officers in both districts, and when I talked to some of.

"Tony Paige back all the way to. Forty. Jerry JJ again. Jerry and Alex five forty. Even though it's just barely getting started with baseball. It's great that it's rolling and you get to watch games. It's not on. Yes. Or baseball network or whoever's got just find a game. You wanna watch even though I don't even know I saw a couple of eighty nine and ninety three's out there. And I'm like, I don't know what these people are. But that's fine. But I was wondering if anybody if you guys made a just starting to come to a conclusion is too early. I I still think the another pitcher I don't know how much account on CC because he's not going to be, you know, I don't think he's coming up anytime soon, and he shouldn't there's no need for them to be up here in April fifth started using doesn't get any work. Anyway. So I think you know, you you don't start his. Pratt whitney'll maybe now, but you know, he's he's behind everybody. But rightfully so you want somebody to be around compati- timber nine running out of gas. So we'll see what happens with him. As I said earlier tonight. My biggest problem with concern for best. My biggest concern with baseball right now is even teams are forming. And you say, okay, we need this. We need that. It's still the approach that. I don't know how that changes. By that. I mean. If easy Yankees. For example. If you're a home run hitting team you set the record last year for most home runs by team won a hundred games. You made the postseason didn't go far. Because at some point. You just got to put the ball in play. You tell kids that all the time put the ball in play put the ban on the ball. If you put the ball in play three things can happen in two for for ourselves. Our side of it is good ones. Basic ones Inara get on base and one out. But if you're swinging for the fences, and you're stretching launch angles and all that kind of nonsense, and then you get to the postseason. And you're not seen a four fifth star. You're seeing their top of the line pitchers. And you go up there and as a runner thirds as tie game or your game. You're run behind in Europe with two outs. And you're a home run hitter. How do you? How do you make the adjustment? I'm still trying to homerun. Oh, do I just try to get the ball in play? But if you haven't been doing it all year now. I think the game. Guys were bunting. I mean, you see that more on the National League. But even if you got a chance to get on base guys giving you the shift you drop a bunch. 'cause I always always puzzles me that went on. I might say, well, you know, we we he he bunted. He didn't try hit a home run. We you know, we won that battle. Yeah. But he bunted he got on base. And now the next guy to run home or they can get it a role going with a lot of base hits. If you're a home run hitting team, how do you how do you change the narrative? And now your baseball team. He just hitting the ball putting a play. You know, if you don't steal basis during the regular season basis in the postseason. And the other thing, of course is the pitches. No, it's in the best sense of the word a. You always you always asking for a pitcher to give you a quality star quality stock back today was nine innings. You went nine innings. If you didn't get the go ninety s you win eight and the third eight and two-thirds you were there. Nobody brought up while you know, he's going to distance. That means he's going to meet the he's gonna go through the line of three times. So. That's what I don't understand. So all these pictures who can only give you a quality start was nine then went down to seven. Now. It's somewhere between five and six. I don't know how that helps you in the postseason if you've been relying on your bullpen all year. Now, it's tired. Swimming. When you add somebody, right? You know, right before the. Playoff push starts. I think it was. I think it was sixty nine Braves got Hoyt Wilhelm the old knuckleball to come in. And but he came in after September. I wasn't eligible for the postseason had a really good September helped the Braves, but you know, he couldn't make a deal to get him in before the September. You know, it's different. Now, you just tell pictures, you go as long as you, can you know, you know, what you're going five. So just go as long as hard as you can. And he just throw you throwing his and then you run out of gas and take you out of there. But did you can't ask these same guys who don't go seventy seven. And he'll go. Sure. I'll I'll go seven I haven't gone seven in four stars. But I'll go seven, and then it's usually worse. But the one thing I for one. Position. I'm looking forward to just watch. It a competition is first base for the Yankees bird of I've always liked bird. I know his injury prone, but he he can I can put up some. I think he's at thirty forty home run guy. But. You don't get that number by playing in sixty seven games. I don't know. He was discarded by one team. You had a nice job. Nice year. I mean nice. Small sampling of work. Convince everybody that he's a number one start or at least at least. That's what's caskets. He's or or Boone says that, but I still think they really would like bird to just come in. And. Just knock it out of the park and be that guy. So how many hit today was opposite field? And he said he was using his legs. And that that's good hitting as always with the legs. So I'm I'm I just wanted to see I think the same is going to happen. I think all these teams are they hit all these home runs. They're all going to strike out Tana strikeouts. Tahoe home runs and get into the post season and the game changes. You need someone put the ball and playing those guys. For Daniel been perfect. Tourist plays a short. He plays second. If they have issues he can fill thirty eight. He's hitter. We'll see we'll see eight seven seven three seven sixty six sixty six is the number of nets lost tonight would say shouldn't lost one twenty five when sixteen wizards who are twenty five and thirty six in the nets still a game over five hundred now. Foca teams who are in the playoffs. Now, you're trying to jockey for position. And maybe move up a little higher. This is this is this is like playoff playing games. You can't you can't lose games. You know, if you're going up against. A really good team. Take your pick. And you get beat us. Okay. But all these you know, when you playing teams that have losing records or Rick records, similar to yours. You're supposed to beat those guys. He lost a wizard at home. This is not a good sign. And just look flat. And they always seem that this team. I know accent does a good job as always seems to be one game where they just a flat. Maybe was fine. Back from the west. I I don't know. But I'm ready for baseball even with, you know, no, no new pitch clock. They're not doing that yet. And nothing about pitches have to pitch the three batters as I think that all comes maybe next year. Wait for the contract to. Went out and take it from there. And I hope is the worst office down the road because this is really, you know, we look forward to this force. And we notice money involved in these guys are going to fight for that. And every ten the owners want to keep it all the players want more. And we were talking about last night. I just think I'm still getting contracts with these guys are making. I don't know why Harper's taking so long. I mean who does it benefit does it benefit? Boris or? Harper. Ballplayers can put put an end to it. And you know, I know we're trying to get three fifty. But just just we'll take the three ten and move on and hotel. No, no, we gotta we gotta do do more than that. I just want to just. I don't understand why it's taking so long injustice, unless it's just all Boris. He's not getting what he wants. So he brings another team. The player in to make the team better. And then what happens? And then say the giants were back involved with Harper, and I'm like handed back with that right field area. That's a that's a deep Polk. Barry bonds. Yeah. But. Lead league doubles, maybe. But it's is thank why would why would you know? It's it's. If you're a left handed batter you wanna go to Yankee Stadium. We like to play for Yankees because reports the right handed about it. You don't want to go to say, especially the old Yankee Stadium. Nobody wants to be a right handed bat. There you go. Nice shot. It's four hundred and fifty feeding still kit court. When we come back. I wanna get your take on the job of the night. Brandon nimmo. How do you? How do you avoid? Wilpon have to buy we buy George Foreman grill or they have to give you need a new bench. Coach is also moonlights as the cooking coach. Hey, I want to cook some chicken, let me let me show you how to do it. Because obviously you and how to do this. I mean, you want eat healthy. What are you gonna do the hiring? Chef now. I'm sure nemo will talk to the media when he feels up to it, and he'll be it'll be tongue in cheek. But I'm sure if people want to happen. Did you this didn't cook it long enough? Only the Mets only the Mets. But hopefully, he's okay. And he's out for a couple of days, and he's resting and Jacob drinking ginger ale and crackers, and toast and just trying to build up his friends because that's the other thing would athletes, you know, you could bust a finger which you can still do stuff to stay in shape. You got. Food poisoning. The only other way to put it you get food poisoning. Are you gonna do? You have to suffer till it's over, you know, all all the water you need and keep yourself hydrated. And he lightly. You'll be done with you. When it's done with you..
