"Excellent. Blew something. Miles Brennan. Well, I give the kid credit. Get to the brunt in the second. In light of what happened yesterday, this was a good tweet. It's just occurred to me. Elaine Benes from Seinfeld dated Walter white and Saul Goodman. That's right, I forgot, I forgot old and Kirk played the doctor before he was a doctor. I just watched that episode three weeks ago. And then when he becomes a doctor he dumps her. Dumpster gets rid of her. It was always my dream that when I become a doctor, I get rid of my girlfriend and find somebody new. Yeah. What an actor? What range by Cranston playing Tim Watson? I'm so good, come on. And I think every Seinfeld fan on the planet, including myself, pisses themselves for not realizing this before this tweet. So great job by Justin for coming up with that. Yes, and then the Brennan tweet about the tweet about Brennan that he is, he's done with college football. He signed deals with raising canes, good move. Get the extra ghost. Smoothie king, small sliders. He didn't play a single game, but because deals can't be based on performance he keeps all the money and look at that deal. Not going to blame the kid for a second. No, sure. That's right. And one bad beat. Angel's Mariners under 6 and a half, two two in the 9th. 6 two final. I'm ready for this, my whole life. Top 5 Tuesday. Dollar dollar bills, y'all. All of the money. Okay, here we go. We have top 5 Tuesday based on last night's series finale, a Better Call Saul with no spoilers. We promise here, but I will go top 5 shows Polly that I wanted to like more than what I did. In reverse order, from 5 to one, and I know we're on in mass in, so this is not gonna go over well at all. And every time I bring this up, I have to run for cover, but I will explain myself here. Number 5, I liked it. I wanted to like it more. It was the wire on HBO. The reason why I say this couple reasons, right? Okay? I was late to the party. I did not get to it until like 2013, 2014, so the hyping the expectations were so high that it couldn't possibly be that good. Also, I would say a couple of dug seasons. And Kirk, only 5 seasons overall, 1 may went to the kids so often, I couldn't stand the episodes. I wanted, and by the way, you have these people loved it. Other people like us are like, yeah, move it along. Yep. And I want the incredible character, like Avon bark, so I get it and had to go to jail. I loved him. I wanted more. I wanted more Omar. He's one of the best secondary or side characters in the history of HBO. The wire is like In-N-Out burger, where the hypertension. And it's still a little polar. You can critique the wire and say, I love the show, but there's a couple seasons. Yep, and a couple moments where it's like, okay, what's going on here? And it's also much like in and out bar, which is the hype, and it's the greatest thing ever. It's unbelievable, which we'll get to on your list number one. You sent this listen, I go shut it down. I can't edit this. It's so good. But I don't have a problem with that on the list. It was just that run where it's, oh my God, have you seen the wire? You got to see the walk. And I was hooked from the get go, but there's, you know, there's a couple seasons. It's a little bit slow. So again, I liked it. I wanted to like it more. Number four, I show that I actually had a punt on and like middle of season three entourage. Terrific start. Great idea. Love the concept, the plot, the characters are really, really good. But they should have called it everything's rosy because nothing bad ever happens to any of the characters. Like they hit the lottery every single every single episode. That's ridiculous. There's no adversity. No, no. And it becomes completely cheesy by the middle of this third season. Yes. Number four. Yeah, I'm very proud of myself. I never got into entourage, and I never got into Limp Bizkit at some of the other garbage music we had but back when we were in high school, college. Yes. Number three, I think season one kind of ruined it for everybody because it was so good. McConaughey killed it. True Detective was so good in season one. Yes. Then season two put it this way. Season two was so I don't even know what that was. This is the first time I've recognized season two since it actually aired that I haven't even watched season three yet. Season two was so bad to me and the guy just destroyed the whole franchise to me. Which one was Vince Vaughn? That season two. That was two? Yes. In season three was I'm blanking on the man character. I know you watch season three. Said you liked it. The guy who won for moonlight. I don't. I can't remember his name. Mahershala. Marshall is season three? That's three. Oh, very good. Okay, but that was good. Season two. I'm so bad at what the hell they were doing. Oh my God, yes. So number two is a show that we had the finale for last night. Better call it, look, I like the show. I thought it was a good show. I watched every episode, but many, many problems with the show. And this is gonna be my only opinion that's gonna come across personal, do I think some people, and I know I know people are on this list for sure. If you think Better Call Saul is on the same level or is better than or right there with or in the neighborhood as Breaking Bad, you need to have your television show credit card revoked. Because I don't care about your opinion on anything else. Better Call Saul is not in the same conversation. It's on the same atmosphere as Breaking Bad. Breaking Bad dunks on it. Better Call Saul was a good show again, but I wanted to like it way more than what I did. I don't blame you if you shut it off after the first couple seasons. I Breaking Bad only had one or two bad episodes. I mean, Breaking Bad delivered. Almost every episode every season. Yep. And number one, sorry not sorry. Ozark. I wanted to like it so much more than what I did. And again, the concept there. The idea they came up with was brilliant. But it just, after season, one and a half, when when he goes off the rails, I think at the back end of season two, and they incorporate her brother then in season three. And then Marty, you gotta stand up towards some point. At some point. Act like a man. What's the matter with you? I mean, it was Wendy, it was three seasons of Wendy does what she wants and gets her way FTM had been dot com shows that you wanted to like more than what you did. "While receiver, North Dakota state, listen to the packer fans, the cheese heads are excited. He's 6 four. He runs a four three 6. He's from from the minute the packers drafted him back in April. Christian Watson has had to answer questions about becoming the new face of the Green Bay wide receivers room. And stepping into the huge void created by the trade of superstar Davante Adams. And The Rookie actually sounds unfazed. I definitely wouldn't say it's intimidating. I mean, I'd say it's more so, you know, personal challenge for me, you know, I'm gonna have to earn the spot that I want at the end of the day, day in and day out. Today, the athletics met schneidman tells the story of Watson's amazing ascent from an undersized, kind of awkward teenager who got zero FPS offers coming out of high school. To now potentially becoming the top target for Aaron Rodgers. On a team, the plans to win, right now. From wondering, I'm Tiffany oshinsky. It's Friday, June 3rd, and this is the lead. Match 9 man, welcome back to the lead. It's great to have you back. How are you guys doing? It's great to be back. Oh, you know, things are going great. I mean, I feel like for you after all of last year's off season drama with Aaron Rodgers, you know, hosting jeopardy and nonstop questions about his future with the team. I feel like this off season by comparison has been sort of quiet on that front. So have you been enjoying your relatively come off season? Or did I just jinx it? No, I mean, hopefully you didn't drink that. I have been enjoying it. Look, after the last two off seasons, two seasons ago, it was, you know, they drafted Jordan love Aaron Rodgers was pissed. Last off season was he gonna play today when we're recording this, I'm getting ready to watch Aaron Rodgers play golf for fun against Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen with Tom Brady. Aaron Rodgers will be in Green Bay for many camp next Tuesday. So no drama for now, but as is always the case with him, never be too sure that something's not going to come up. I guess, you know, ending a relationship allows you to go play golf or less. I don't know. I don't know if that relationship's over. Oh. I don't know if I believe TMZ. Well, this is turning into the match nightman gossip hour, I see. I'm just kidding. I know nothing. I know nothing. All right, well, the packers have been holding OTAs organized team activities this week. Aaron Rodgers isn't there, as we know, he is currently golfing. And more on Aaron Rodgers to come. But let's turn our attention to the guy we're focusing on today, and that is Christian Watson. What kind of impression has The Rookie wide receiver made early on? Yeah, so he's a physical specimen, 6 foot four, two O 7 two O 8, I believe. Dominated the NFL combine, ran a four three 6 40 yard dash, led all wide receivers in the broad jump and for his size, it's really tremendous because there are smaller receivers who can run quicker, but the way he's built, he's really a physical specimen. Yeah, I mean, freak show, Mike. I think this is the guy that, you know, we look at those second rounders, right? This would be the guy that I would put the star next to to go watch out. This could be DK Metcalf or AJ Brown or but I go back to something that I included in my story that Trey Lance said, the forty-niners quarterback who is Christian Watson's quarterback at North Dakota state. He said, yeah, the headline with Christian is the combine numbers, but he's also a lot more than that. And we're seeing here at OTAs, it's tough to take too much away because they're not really playing defense against these guys. They can't hit them. He's not catching passes from Aaron Rodgers. But packers like what they see so far. And Adam's ten of it, the offensive coordinator told us a couple of weeks ago, you know, if this kid figures it out, he's going to be a problem. You recently talked to Watson's family and some of his former coaches to find out more about this guy's background. And why he could be up to the tall task of becoming Aaron Rodgers top target. So your story starts way back in time. So tell us about Christian Watson and dirt bikes at the age of four. Yeah, so his mom's father wrote dirt bikes professionally, so Christian first got on a dirt bike when he was four years old. He was driving them at 40 miles an hour and what his mom told me was who's able to be that coordinated to drive a dirt bike at 40 miles an hour when you're four years old while he was. Most kids aren't doing that. Look at that coordinated. You don't put in motor vehicle that can go 40 miles an hour in the hands of a four year old unless they're capable. His mom nicknamed him Spider-Man because he'd hang all over stuff in the house. He was hurtling kids at 8 years old. He was doing back flips at 8 years old. His brother Trey, who I also spoke with, who is all American linebacker at Maryland, said, you know, we kind of joke around and say it, but he really did walk out of the womb. You know, 1% body fat and turning the faster for me. There are a lot of good stories about the athleticism he's showcased from a young age. It also sounds like the competitive fire has been there since a very early age for Watson. So much so that it affected where he slept. So can you tell us about that? Yeah, Trey told me that Christian would sleep in his room, even when Christian had his own room so they could wake up and wrestle and fight and do all this stuff and play video games. He slept in my bed and we woke up and bought and wrestled and played video games and I beat him a hundred times until he finally figured out a way to beat me and that's just the way he's always done everything because of the competitor he is. I asked pretty much everyone I talked to, you know, what's the most freakishly athletic thing you've seen Christian do? And one of the things Trey told me was they were playing in a Thanksgiving Day game. I don't know if it was just a pickup game or an organized game or whatnot, but I believe Trey was in 8th grade and Christian was in 5th grade and he someone else was on pace for a 90 yard touchdown kind of breaking away and Christian playing cornerback with a bunch of kids who were older than him chased him down from, I think it was 20 yards behind him, ran past his brother on the way, caught up to him, and that's kind of when everyone was like, okay, this little kid can play. Well, you also wrote about how Watson got a pretty serious football education from his dad. So what's the story there? Yeah, so his dad, who, at the time, he has since changed his name, but at the time was Tim Watson, was in 1993 6th round pick of the Green Bay Packers. Didn't spend much time with the team, but his dad would have Christian right beside him when he was running his hundreds and 200s. And really teach him about football and how to play it the right way and really condition him so that he was physically ready to dominate. And now that he's in the NFL, his dad obviously is really pumped. And something his mom told me, and this is not to say, you know, Christian wanted to be distant from his family, but Christian wore the number 33 when he was younger because that was the number that his dad and his brother wore. And his mom told me that at one point he stopped wearing 33 because he was like, you know what? I want to create my own identity. I want to show that I can do this on my own. Yes, he comes from a football family, but Christian Watson has wanted to prove and has since proven that he can kind of be his own guy and make his own path for himself. So we got dirt bikes competing with his older brother, running sprints with his NFL father, and that leads us to high school. Watson ended up playing at the Tampa powerhouse plan high school. But he doesn't make the varsity team until he's a junior. So can you tell us a little bit more about Watson at that time? Yeah, so essentially, going to plant high school in Tampa, there are so many guys who want to play varsity football, the numbers are overloaded. It wasn't that he couldn't play on varsity because he was a freshman or a sophomore. It's that you don't. There are too many kids. And his mom said there were about a 125 kids on varsity, a little less on JV. So he didn't really get a chance to prove himself those first couple of years. Robert Weiner, who is now the quarterbacks coach at University of Toledo, who was his head coach at the Tampa high school..

"Sail to fix somewhere in the car? Yeah. Three AW weather. I got rid of that noise subsequently. Objectively a music sandwich though. Both of them are serious. Horse is definitely in the wood a thing, which they still continue to persist with. I'm not familiar with that one, actually, I think about it. And I used to paddle for us in. Yeah. I shouldn't have. Now you remember. It's like pavlov. Maybe recognize SEN. Weather. For this derives. Australia's most trusted laser eye specialist, one 850 50 49. And the weather for Friday partly cloudy chance of shell was big shows too. Mostly in the morning. Those waters at 68.1 and Tim Watson's day, Glen Maggie, 29.6%. The damn ratings. There's a bit of a twist, isn't it? The team, I think that would take in the pizza because it was just as the endgame of the newsroom the ass and I just had to do their own weather. Let's get aside. Throw into dab report. Why not? Oh, it's good to have some way to chat, I think, some weather in sound effects chat this way. Everyone loves weather. Here, whether it's head effects, the two Staples of any melbury and conversation. Yeah, yes and lockdown inevitably. Oh, that's indeed. Look, the conversation, topic of everyone conversation this week, though, was the calendar. We talked a little bit about it last week because we knew it was going to be on it because it had been leaked enough. But it's been confirmed now. It has been confirmed being 23 races. Some good news on it though and some bad news for this good news. We'll start with good news, Australia is back. That's good news, isn't it? I think it's good. Very good news. Kind of kind of need to be back otherwise. It's a case of, you know, you're only as good as your last race, which was 7 lockdowns a guy that one was. So it's been a while since the Australian Grand Prix. Good news story. Of course, in typical self loathing Melbourne fashion, everyone had a crack at the date of choice being April, whatever it was. Because of course the clashes with rammed four or 5 of the AFL in half. The most important heaven forbid we have two sporting events held at the same time. But, you know, at least it's in the defense of the April date at least it's that Rand 5 kind of period of the iPhone. You know, the Grand Prix and the AFL says news to start simultaneously. It was a clash of the Titans. So you get to understand those bit of try to give it some clear a but when it's yeah, I ran 5 to the home and I when we're talking, you know, north belvin versus golkar sons that ballarat. It doesn't matter. Yeah, I think if you, if you are a football official now, I chances are you're gonna get caught for ticket to me how. So you're gonna go to that. You're not gonna you're not gonna sign out to the corporate tickets to the Grand Prix. I think it'll be fine that April slot. Of course, an awesome date, so the weather could be temperamental. Dial it. I think glued around that time. So that was actually a lot rice. I don't think I thought about this. No, I hadn't thought about that. Is that the first time since, you know, whenever we weren't last time the first round of the season 2006 ish, that we're on the other side of daylight savings. What does that mean for the good folk of Europe who love to complain about the title? What is the date of the savings Grand Prix? Yeah, what's the weekend before? It'll be the week because normally the first week of April for Australia is daylight savings comes on. So and this is the 10th of April this right. Right. And also it starts to get Dhaka around that period and I'll have to be early on so you don't do it yourself any favors. Is this a subtle hint that it's going to the big winner in all this is again the favoring for the second reference of cows in this podcast today? The cast ice of Queensland who of course did a world famous referendum on oh actually that was corrected. I think it was south as Queensland that elected to opt out of daylight savings. So therefore I just had to be different in the whole thing. So, yeah. Yeah, again, but what other Formula One podcast will consider the ramifications of dialect savings to the Formula One calendar only this one. Yes, only this fun in fact. And look, I've just done some quick Googling. And sunset is at 6 p.m. on the 10th of April, which means the race can't start any lighter than three p.m., even though I would argue is pushing it, but I'm sure they'll find a way. Which will be 6 a.m. in London, so bloody hard enough because that's when this weekend's rises, that's one a.m. for New York and ten p.m. for LA. So that's okay, I think. In fact, you could do a bit earlier. You know what for the first time on this podcast? I'm willing to say, we should we should satisfy the American market. We should play with the American market. Let's have this a one p.m. rice. That's an easy for New York. Nice and easy for LA, not important what Europe thinks. Surely we are allowed to do that, aren't we? Nah, look, Formula One before noon I said doesn't sit well with my digestive system. I think Formula One. That's all right. Before three p.m. I like the reason why I do like the Australian Grand Prix current format is because it does go into sunset..

Got one but i'm gonna Morning at the end because mas more of a playa rather than macleod perspective incense for mind this year and all jokes aside There are a few at the cloud bryant and of even i the staunchest investment supporters need to admit agreed with what study said earlier. We have deliberately seiken step back with regards to the draft but we do realize that we need to get some different types of supplies into the club there is absolutely no mistake as to why we drafted tolls we dropped the tolls for a reason. We need to get some of that That mocked me ability around the grand. Like sorry for mine. The the concern. That i have is that we have taken a step back to go forward and the kid. There's a lot of pressure on the kids that we've drafted to be that catalyst to move forward. The catalyst of having hippo down stuffing do what he's going to do. I think there's i hope we don't pull a jacob or somebody like that and put zachary damn back and talks upfront and siro talented tolls do your talented toll thing and they get monster. Just i am married. i must marta. Not pretty half is sort of in that no man's land. He's not a forward. He's not a backman. He is a midfielder. But when you're trying to compete against some of the nights that we spoke earlier it's got to be hard for him. He's got concern from is perspective whose visual have a. Do you have a breakdown imply that you think could be woobie day last season regardless if it's free agency whether it's a full whether it's you know what just gonna retire at the end of the i i think personally made the early freedom now. Highly is gonna be I think he's quite serious. What he's gotland people very much understand. It's very very serious thing that he's got As for the rest of his life rather than anything to do football now Who has had consistent back issues And he's definitely aging annual sahara okkas For people who don't know hasn't been to one session training bisheh. He's bought he. He had surgery in november coming off a poor year. We're obey honest. his biggest issue is either. He's either has purple patch for weeks where he gets possessions in gigs. Three thousand looks. But then you'll have a six week period of literally being invisible and it's probably frustrated seventy on fans and it's it's one thing that we've said on podcasts. That we kind of almost the challenge a little bit to truck inciting nail. This klopp has to peak guys who earned a spot. Like if you if you want to change the culture the you did. You got to do that.
