"Is Tom Sullivan and well well well well boys girls were just getting news that carnival's Holland American cruise ships is an damn has arrived has docked now in Florida I mean they were stranded there's two of them the Holland American has the Rotterdam is and them and so they are now there was a big dispute because of the fact that we got people on board that are sick bill Keating the guy who handles the Miami girl for fox is in fort Lauderdale and he has the well this was before the show started so this may be outdated but let's let's see what what field he didn't have to say about the cruise ships cruise ships have finally made it off the east coast of Florida the sand dam and the Rotterdam still in international waters and hopeful that by tonight maybe by as early as this afternoon healthy pastors will finally be able to disembark and end what has truly been a cruise from hell twenty five hundred people are on the two ships half passengers and half crew this includes for children that are under twelve Broward commissioners and the unified command which controls port Everglades worked through the night working the details on a plan that keeps Floridians protected from the virus I get all these people back home one commissioner says it is very close to being a done deal Jim and Colleen wing are on board they live near Orlando and they should have been home nearly two weeks ago for what was supposed to be a glorious journey around the tip of South America their son says it's been stressful and desperate for the entire family this is a humanitarian crisis we've got people that have passed away we have people that are very very sick much or stick them then my stepfather who are stuck according to the cruise line twelve hundred healthy passengers are on the ships forty five have a mild illness Ted need critical care nine have tested positive for coded nineteen and for a job their journey has been everything you don't want nearly two weeks spent in isolation if their cabins unable to leave the last time they actually left the ship was March fourteenth eleven countries in south and Central America refused to help fearing the pandemic the under the plan that is being discussing could be agreed upon this morning all of the healthy pastures would get off the ship first wearing masks straight into sanitized and disinfected shuttles and then directly to the airport to get on planes and fly back home the ten critical care patients they will be accepted by Broward how health and taken to the hospital and the forty five others with mild illnesses won't be able to leave the ships until they get better first and meet CDC health standards all right so as some moments ago one of the two ships the sand dam has docked and they're going through that whole process of separating them out this was just before the show as well governor Ron DeSantis of Florida laid out the details that they worked out with the with the cruise ship company on how to deal with the passengers yes there's a wedding we we have a plan and that the county Broward county where the port is working with stakeholders the cruise lines as well as the Coast Guard to be able to bring both of those ships in but do it in a way that's going to be safe for the people of Florida their number Floridians on this end game so obviously you know we want to welcome them back and get them to be safe there's also and I think it's been a little confusion about some of this there's probably another two dozen ships that are out there and some of them want to come to Florida none of them have American citizens are all foreign crude and you know we've been very concerned about that the Coast Guard to be concerned about it so this year at the same damn then the coral princess we think we have a plan to do that to make it to make it safer to get our clothes home but you know some of these other chips out there I think will be a big problem because it really has no connection to Florida war to the American people we worked out with the local hospitals and I know we have one hospital is able to take some of the critically ill they have the capacity to do that and I think that that can be done and I think that the numbers are such that it is not necessarily going over well as you know one of the main issues with this up and down there is you know people are going to get infected it's a respiratory disease it's just the way it happens that spreads five yeah we want that spread to happen slower so that the system doesn't get overwhelming medical system we work very hard in Florida I think we have more availability of beds than we've had in quite some time and that's been a lot of diligence the hospitals are working hard we've done some executive orders to do that so we just work repairing we prepared for the surge and we want to make sure that that the beds are available for for the Floridians who need it but on on the sand dam those folks will get into a hospital in South Florida as soon as this agreement is reached and you know it is the humanitarian thing to do well see that's where the listen to the message because on one hand he said well we gotta take care for Indians and the these other people that are having to do with this other foreign country and I really foreign crew for everything but then its humanitarian what we are all humans but there's a lot of this going on right now of yeah but we don't want you unless you are one of us and I don't know this even I don't think it's made national news but for those of us here in New York it's very clear we cannot let me governor to Santa said don't come flying down to the Florida like a week ago we are going to make the planes from Florida I'm gonna screen all you people we don't want you new Yorkers coming down here well it's gotten worse it takes I don't know June two one half hours to drive from New York to Rhode Island go up interstate ninety five go through Connecticut Rhode island's gorgeous beautiful we go up there every so often it's gorgeous there the governor of Rhode Island has the highway patrol looking for New York plates and stopping him and they're in rest stops in there and they they literally have a border control they don't want anybody from New York going to Rhode Island so I know we're one big country but not really the governor of Florida is gone we well well we don't want to I mean if you're a Floridian okay able figure out how to get you off the ship with the rest of you but this is a humanitarian thing a typical politician talking out both sides of his mouth so one ship is docked and one has not but they're waiting apparently because they got a deal in order for them to come in so that's what's going on in Florida as we speak so back to this business about the money so there's the the payroll protection program for employers they can start applying for it tomorrow but you know that a lot of the banks don't have and they're all confused they are all confused they're worried about liabilities they're worried about all the banks so you talk about bureaucrats that we give government workers a hard time for being bureaucrats you know who was as bad of a bureaucrat if not more our bankers nope yeah I mean but they are highly regulated so they grow up in the banking industry about well we can't do that again according to the rules I mean we got a dot the I's across cities and have you ever done that well that we can't do this we can't do that they go on or on or not but it is the banks that if anybody's going to be holding up the money a lot of the banks have no idea what to do how to do it and they're afraid of making these payroll protection program loans to small business these are the ones that if you keep the people employed for two months it's a grant it's forgiven you got the money you cut date the government covers your payroll so that the people will still get a paycheck that's the theory but now NBC is reporting that the first people individuals to get the extra money the third twelve hundred dollars per adult five hundred dollars per child won't see the money until at least a week week of April thirteenth so the week of April thirteenth is not this week not next week the week after sold could be anywhere from the thirteenth to the seventeenth that the money goes out so check your bank account in that week so much for making your rent and mortgage payments on the first but I mean it's it is lightning speed for the terrible for the government for the dinosaur but it's slow and it course it's slow so that's only for people who have direct deposit information on file with the IRS if you that apparently is sixty million people then for those that do not have their bank account information on file with the IRS the IRS will issue paper checks to the address that was on your tax your latest tax return two thousand eighteen or two thousand nineteen which everyone you filed so those won't go out until the week of may fourth but because they have to print them stop the monopolists and put him in the mail that's they think they have the the printing process at the treasury can handle about five million checks per week so that means that it will take roughly twenty weeks for that money to get out so about five months so I know it's supposed to cover you while you are unemployed I know it's supposed to give you money to keep some green in your brain your wallet but I don't know I don't know what his name also said the people on social security won't have to do anything to receive their payments the rebate will be sent to them just as Sir social security checks are sent so those of you getting social security checks will be sent the same way deposited right into your account I don't think social security has sent checks in years they they deposited directly into people's accounts but if you do not have your address with the I. R. S. then well five months is September I know I I should not be let me I'm not under some of you out there go wait a minute wait a minute I'm I need this money like yesterday but I mean this is so government is just is is as fast as that big old lumbering dinosaur can move but I I thought I'd better be the bearer of bad news for those of you do not have your if you file a tax return and you have your bank account so they can deposit your tax refund if you get one directly into your bank account it's so much faster and so much easier but a lot of people don't want the government to know that sort of stuff they already do but so that's gonna mean your check is going to take awhile surprised I don't think so eight five five two.

"Welcome to what would have been opening day I guess it's still opening day no matter how you stack it before but it's actually just not happening I mean this is technically opening day without all of the opening day things that make it opening day I I don't even know what I'm trying to say I I think what other red Skelton that that is what happening that's it what year lease at least we're not going to watch the Reds lose today we know that's a fact do it was our year on here I don't feel like it though didn't it doesn't do it it's got to be awful for you being a Browns fan you say that during football season embed well it's a never ending cycle of masochism in Painesville yes they do thank you all right Dave lands with us as well of course that's Josh season I believe station again from ABC six fox twenty eight is with us too yes simply playing let me work on it yes yeah I know all that it is she there although that was Dave stop you you got me there she is hi hi how's it going I'm good can you hear us mark I think he's a Josh's gonna work some voodoo here I. station what what what's going on in your world on this fine Thursday afternoon wasn't it nice to see the sun out there today absolutely just makes everything feel so much better last night was gorgeous but I'm sure you spent a good chunk of that in the studio right did you get time to get out and just you know go for a walk around the parking lot or something I try to get out and get some food but that's pretty much all I have time for I'll get a quick dinner break run out grab something see if I can find some toilet paper back to the studio the chase the geese around a little bit we always we always have plenty of geese out there on Dublin road now it's so true you got to watch him at all hours of the day and night are they hoarding are they hoarding the toilet paper as well because in their crap is certainly all over the place so they will yeah they won't comment on that I can neither confirm nor deny that they are all right I can hear I can hear station now Hey we can hear you all right yes all right so yeah also I heard you talking about you're trying to find some toilet paper is that what you're saying well I will I took my first trip to the store the other night the grocery store just to see if I could get some of the items that we've been talking about because I just haven't been out and wow wow did you know there's been a run on shredded cheese I had no idea there was no shredded cheese at all to be found so toilet paper and shredded cheese is an interesting combination because one the amount well anyway I probably I think everyone can do the math on that it's the well no I hadn't heard about the shredded cheese thing that's that that's a new one to me all the other stuff I maybe people are just moving around to different stuff after realizing well okay they're all out of that let me get some strategies maybe so will stock up on that it I mean at some point people are gonna run out of room for the all the toilet paper they're hoarding right I mean at some point thank you yeah right give the rest of us a chance right you know it's interesting there is a there was an article I forget which talents and I believe it's somewhere in Pennsylvania and they are they're literally having to tell people we knew this was coming with the run on the toilet paper some people don't have any but they're telling them please don't flush don't try to flush towels down the toilet or in sanitizing wipes same thing don't do well yeah yeah Hey do you have over it yes I was gonna ask you since we're all in the separate areas because with David at the studio you're at your house right yeah Josh's at the studio right yeah and I'm at my studio who did you send me a picture of what your set up looks like at your house and you have that W. W. each share what am I looking at in that photo hello everybody your set up yeah I'm gonna I'm gonna go Facebook live here in a little while from the six ten WTVN Facebook page I'll do that I'm probably next hour and maybe do a little bit of that and I I I don't know what else I our house is just a rack right now as you can imagine with two kids and not going to school and everyone just trying to survive right now so I I would like if I do this I'm like no judging it from people you know if I do this but anyway no I got this chair from we went to in we went to Raleigh Durham back in the day to a WWE pay per view and I'll never forget I had a triple H. was actually I interviewed him on the radio station I was working for then and we went we sat so close ring side all of these chairs were there you got to take your chair with you when you left that's where I got this that is amazing yes so yeah it's a pretty cool it and I don't know it was pretty cold maybe the first five rows because I think we are in like fourth or fifth row and the first five rows that was kind of a bonus you got like a collectible kind of chair so yeah this is one of my and it's got a little bit of padding to which is perfect to add to my that's perfect I have actually I sat front row at a W. W. event just a regular one not a big paper view one like that but they didn't let us keep the chairs that's pretty cool yeah yeah we well I and they said that it was a bonus I'm going yeah it was built into the price of the ticket because the county dollars yeah speaking against Ilyin dollars I'm sure you guys saw that the unanimously the Senate has approved this two trillion dollar stimulus package and I don't know you guys are covering this obviously every night as well station obviously I see you guys and it's such a again moving target but I think the latest is the twenty four hundred dollars to the couples or twelve hundred dollars to single interview no an individual that makes less than seventy five thousand a year and then it's an additional five hundred for each child to a family of four if you qualify for everything would be thirty four hundred dollars so that is stayed the same and I actually earlier today so I I tried to watch I tried to watch below see talking about it and yeah I I just I ended up getting through about maybe two or three minutes and I finally ended up having to change it and thought you know what let's just wait and see where this actually goes from here but that too it went from do you remember and yeah we're talking about this day man and Josh and I were talking about it yesterday or even the day before but station do you remember it was eight hundred fifty billion when it first started then it went to like one trillion and then they were like just over one trillion digits like two trillion dollars of Mike and then they said that's like the ten percent of the GDP right now the largest clearly in history but I don't know if you've been watching this and and had any thoughts on it well it's just hard to keep track honestly and I don't know that everybody is fully aware of everything that is in this bill because it is tied to so much right now in our economy and for our families direct need we are talking about for families that there's so much in this bill that we have not had a chance to really flesh out and you're hearing a little bit about what's in it based on the criticism from each side the Democrats and the Republicans but I think it's gonna be awhile before we fully understand what else is there well and and that is the thing that I'm gathering from it is you know people from but you know people were going just got to get this done you got to get this done you got to get this done and and we were all like oh god what's the hold up here and all the bickering within the Senate and then there was that delay yesterday were they caught that miss language that flipped it so instead of giving employers incentives to keep their employees it was going to give them an incentive to lay them off and so that delayed it by not you know some more time now today now that's all pass I'm seeing people coming out of the woodwork from both sides they're still not happy about it and and and it's just like what what are you supposed to take from that M. and people were beating our heads against the wall going we gotta get these checks out the people now that it's gone through I'm seein like people mocked on the internet you know it's like old twelve hundred dollars Gee thanks you know and like not realizing okay multiply twelve hundred by three hundred and some million you know whatever like it's just very it's like no one's going to be happy with no matter what goes on you know what also here's the thing too with this is it's it's they're not taking any taxes out of it and I don't know if you have to claim it as income either I I can see them doing take it making sure there's no taxes and again I haven't seen this so it clearly could be different but I I tried to find this but obviously they're not going to go here twelve hundred authors you're in right he had twenty percent in take taxes out and then at the end of the year you got to claim it as you know income like a ten ninety nine if they don't take drugs that I'm understanding it neither of those things are happening but I could completely be wrong on at least one of them but as of right now I mean I can't believe someone's gonna complain about old thirds twelve hundred dollar it's like what it's twelve hundred dollars it's over thought like why would I it's some people obviously are never going to be happy I guess is the take away no you're right about that yeah I don't know what number would make everybody happy that's that's the real question for everybody but you're right no there are a lot of people that are not happy with this bill I think at the end of the day people are are moving forward with it on both sides of the aisle to get that money into the hands of people and it's you get that twelve hundred dollars to adults if your annual income is up to seventy five thousand dollars plus another five hundred.

"I it was like a wooden rectangular thing and it had circles on it. And you would slide this wooden thing and you hit it. And if it made it into a circle without being overlap. Whatever has remember baseball condition grade on that one. You know, I think most of it was still working couple pieces were still loose. But but still okay and the third item nineteen sixty seven Louisville slugger little league promotional poster with mantle Clementi, and Aaron and they have rare in in the description on it. So these are three different items. Two of them are close in price. One of them's well less, and I would have never I don't know how you would get this. But what's your what's your guests? Well, you know, a lot of this stuff seems to be a little bit rare here. So I'm gonna go with where my name is shared with the Roberto Clemente. Okay. Mantle Aaron Felix guess of the three things I'm going to go with the same one as well. I agree with that. Okay. And you guys are incorrect. But not. Picked one that was one of the tax prices. Okay. The baffle ball table tap was the lowest of the three twelve hundred dollars though. I had an old bath ball game. I have trouble to what the to keep it. Do. I sell it. I think I'd sell it. If I know is going to go for twelve hundred the second item, the Louisville slugger literally promotional poster with mantle Clementi Aaron thirty five.

"All right. All right. Then we will do that any bought wait. I'm here. I feel disrespected my. Boss live, but maybe not a single news fast. All right. No, okay. Let's talk about the thing. So this one will get your attention. It's the annual drunk shopping report turns out drunk shopping. And I'm sure not I'm not exactly sure how they know this except by time of night because clearly we don't have breathalysers on our computers. Maybe it's time of night time of night. And maybe spelling errors. But it turns out drug shopping is a forty five billion dollar industry before we get into the specifics. We have a question for you. What was your best and worst drunk shopping purchases? Text us at nine eight nine seven three. I enjoy these stories because they always I don't know they always have an interesting ending. And so my friend PJ is one of these guys who drunk shops on occasion. And he did it when I never thought anything of it. And then a month later, you know, in the credit card. Bill comes you're like. Wait, a minute is highly unusual, and then you might start looking into it. And when he was looking into his credit card Bill, he was very confused. Couple days later concert tickets show up and PJ was like a twenty five year old guy. Whatever tickets to Elton John VIP circle in something called the Elton John experience where you went back stage and got a makeover. And then you hung out like in the little VIP area by Elton, John? And you gotta come up to the side of the piano when he was singing the song. This was not a cheap experience that drunk. Jay purchase for himself. And he was going to return it. And then everyone was saying just keep it, dude. Why would just do it just do it? He was the only twenty five year old straight male to go above and beyond for the Elton John show when it was local and he enjoyed himself so much. He was like drunk me has really good taste. It was so fun so fun. So what are the drunk things or I like to call these surprise purchases? Because it could be an ambiance situation. It could be asleep walking situation. Sometimes you just get on the computer and start clicking around. But I had no idea. It was a forty five billion dollar industry. Yeah. My own by I guess, my my worst one. I don't know what my worst one would be just mainly buying the wrong thing on not sort of twenty through checking is this the right size is that sort of stuff. Like, not actually looking thoroughly what I'm buying like, oh that looks kind of good. And I do need one of those in banking, and you realize it was absolutely the wrong thing. But my best one actually was I don't even. If this was an internet or a Colin purchase was sixteen sixteen seventeen years ago, and it was the Showtime rotisserie was fancy set it and forget it, and it has been singularly the best I have ever purchased in my life. In fact, even when Malcolm Gladwin wrote about wrote about Ron appeal. He brought up the show the Showtime rotisserie is. Could tool and I've used I've done hundreds of chickens ducks in this thing. I love that thing ducks, and it took and it took just being, you know, maybe come in a little bit home a little bit drunk to get the courage to buy the best appliance of my life four hundred and forty four dollars. That's the average annual spend per drunk shopper number one thing that we usually click great on is clothing and shoes. Interesting. I'm wondering if this is how they know is when you do like, what's your reason for return? I was not in my right mind when I purchased this maybe some people say that Amazon number one drunk shopping platform of choice. So congratulations, Amazon, I guess men and women are almost equal when it comes to doing this eighty percent women seventy eight percent men, and I like the idea that we just go on and start clicking around a little bit. But the sports that is where some people get into. Trouble and memorabilia because those are some high price ticket items. Yeah, I would say, but I can I add another category two this Jared qualify. Anyone out there who if you're listening who's in the service industry understands this? This is the person who comes in your place has a couple of drinks after they've had a couple of drinks doesn't. Remember it assumes that they were defrauded somehow, and then does a charge back. And I think sometimes they think that the credit card company absorbs this, and they don't the business does. And then you have to go through the whole process of pulling a receipt that is two months old at this particular point and explain to the person that in fact, you were here, and here is your signature, and could you please play back that money that you now charged back that is anyone in the service industry or has been in this business for a long time has dealt with that person and their purchase. Well, currently Washington state, by the way, we ran kind of the middle of the pack. We spent about four hundred dollars a year shopping under the influence, how do they define under the influence? I mean, I know it under the influences, how do they how do they extrapolate that from the purchase specific drunk shopping? So it doesn't really say how do they know they're under the influence unless it is just self reporting self reporting. This is the one thing though, that actually we just talked about this last week the song seven rings by popstar, Arianna Guerande. She was say, it's one of the biggest royalty songs of all time. That's why it was in the news. But she said the reason why the song's called seven rings is because she went to Tiffany's and in the VIP room at Tiffany's ply you with alcohol and she had a little too much then LeVine seven engagement rings for her girlfriends, that's where the song came from. But I liked the that's a whole new level of drug shopping golf clubs from the two five three twelve hundred dollars. But no regrets. Sure, I drunk bought a chainsaw. I don't have any trees on my property. I enjoy that. Let's see what's another one. Oh, they're really hard to play. Just so, you know, that's the bagpipes. I purchased..
