Pavel Zacha scores twice as Bruins beat Maple Leafs 5-2

"The bruins stretched their lead in the Atlantic division by dumping the second place Maple Leafs 5 two. The bruins entered a season high three game losing streak and moved 13 points ahead of Toronto. Bruins coach Jim Montgomery wasn't too worried about their skid. I don't think relief would be the right words. It was about us getting back to our standard and our team identity. It was a three two game until Pavel zacha scored twice in a three ten span of the third period. Charlie Coyle set up second period goals by Derek forbert and Brandon Carlo. Canceling their subscriptions canceling their service and signing up with other companies. So can I just give the phone numbers out? I'm sure you've done that, but absolutely. Go right ahead, Jack. Go right ahead. The number for direct TV is 8 7 7. 7 6 three. 9 7 6 two. That's 8 7 7 7 6 three. 9 7 6 two. And the phone number is the ATT is 8 8 8 8 three three. Reinhart scores 17 seconds into OT, Panthers beat Bruins 4-3

"The Panthers earned a wild four three overtime win against the bruins. It looked like Boston had grabbed two points. When David pasternak made it three two with 48.6 seconds left in regulation. But Alexander barkov tied it with just 2.4 seconds to play in the third period, giving a chance for Sam Reinhart to win at 17 seconds into overtime. It was a gutsy one to be able to come back. Obviously a pretty devastating one to give up with under a minute left. It was Florida's first win in 19 games when trailing after 40 minutes this season. "By maximus. Moving people and technology forward. Now ten 45 and here is rob wood fork. All right, it was a playoff atmosphere at Capital One arena, the capitals came up clutch in a three two shootout victory over the hated penguins to step one point ahead of Pittsburgh in the division standings, Peter lobby let. Certainly came out the right way and got going. I thought the attack was really good, especially in the first period. They pushed hard in the second. I thought that was probably their best period and they came out back out of a little bit, but in the end, it's nice to get to that point where you're pulling down both points because last game is kind of the same thing. So you get bullet points and walk away. It was even more festive in college park, Queen B knight in celebration of Beyoncé for reasons I still haven't figured out, but the tenth ranked Marilyn women were led by diamond Miller, who was irreplaceable in a 72 64 win. Over number 13, Michigan shrugging off foul trouble to finish with game highs for 23 points and 5 steals, coach Brenda freeze. Loved everything about diamond's game tonight. I thought she played really, really hard. I thought that last fall. It was a tough one because obviously we needed her on the court, but she played so hard tonight. And that's who she is, what she's capable of doing every single night. And for the turps, it was like deja vu, forcing more than 20 turnovers as they have in each of their four straight wins to improve his 7 and two in Big Ten play. Speaking of the terps, the former quarterback, Frank Reich, named the new head coach of the Carolina Panthers, the team for which he was the first quarterback in the franchise's inaugural season, the choices as controversial as it is nostalgic after interim coach Steve Wilkes led the Panthers from a one in four start under Matt roll to within a game of winning the NFC south. Rob, woodfork, WTO sports. At the risk of opening up a can of worms, what do you think is going on there? The reason I put the question that way is the microscope, right? We've got the lawsuit, the big Washington Post series, everybody looking where are these black coaches going to end up? And they don't seem to be ending up in the front office, at least they had job. And I think the problem here is that you have a lack of diversity in ownership. And so you're going to hire somebody who, as a billionaire, you're going to hire somebody who looks like you as opposed to somebody who may have a different background or a different worldview. I think Frank Reich and let me just put this out there. He is a former turp and has local ties. I think he's a terrific hire. I think he's a terrific coach. You got a bad rap in Indianapolis, but it can be true simultaneously that Wilkes is getting a bad rap in Carolina because quite frankly he had that team playing better than they had played in years just in that little small sample size, which you almost never see from an interim coach. Right, and I'm just saying, you know, I realized that maybe those owners haven't bothered to read that extensive post series, but they haven't. That series talks about how black coaches are brought into fill in gaps and take care of meshes, but that are not given the reward of more time to build an especially in that specific scenario because that Panthers team, they fire the coach and then they trade away their best player. They were in full on tank mode trying to get the first overall pick, which of course you can't prove, but that's my appearances. That's what was happening. And he still won in spite of that. And then still doesn't get the job at the end. That is very disheartening. We will keep watching it rob woodfork there, top stories we're following at this hour. still has not played since his controversial comments about the Saudi Arabian backed golf league Three rounds completed the Byron Nelson you got Sebastian munoz sitting on top It's a one shot advantage on Jordan Spieth as munoz sits at 21 under And that's your Bloomberg sports update I'm Mark Bennett This is Bloomberg businessweek inside from the reporters and editors who bring you America's most trusted business magazine Plus global business finance and tech news as it happens Bloomberg businessweek with Carol massar and Bloomberg quick takes Tim Steven on Bloomberg radio Hi everyone welcome to the weekend edition of Bloomberg businessweek Timo gotta say it was another crazy week and other ball tool week and then we had that hot inflation print They had us all thinking is it peak or is it not peak Yeah that's the question that remains and we have a great group of people to help really break down and help us find some answers starting with legendary investor Allen Patrick cough from gray Croft Carol He I mean look it's fair to say that he's seen a cycle or two right Early investor in Apple So he knows what's up with markets like this And he had an interesting perspective on some of the tech sell off that we've seen in some of those well-known names Plus we're going to get a good check on the consumer the CEO of Tapestry talking about our company's latest earnings they've been raising prices All of that to come we begin though with a Bloomberg big take this week And this week's issue of Bloomberg businessweek It's an incredible piece to view online It's interactive It's really well told visually So I encourage everybody to check it out It's all about exploring Japan's front lines It's we're for millions of Japanese The confrontation between the U.S. and China it's already a reality Here to explain Bloomberg business week editor Joel Webber along with Matt Campbell whose Asia editor for business week It's actually a series of islands And what's interesting I think Americans would probably be most familiar with Okinawa which is one of them And this series of islands you end up closer to Shanghai and Mainland China than to Tokyo which is pretty incredible when you see it on a map and I do recommend reading it online because the immersive experience that we've built for this story is pretty incredible And what's interesting is obviously the detentions between U.S. and China have been poppable and if anything have been simmering and during the Trump administration escalated and this is like a little quiet area that's right next to Taiwan as we've been talking about Ukraine and the tensions there Obviously a lot of time Taiwan interest has been peaked I think And what's really interesting about these islands is there's this demographic crisis in Japan Don't have enough workers A lot of the workers that they would have on these islands have traditionally come from China and obviously with zero COVID China has not had that That means there's no tourism dollars coming from China as well And obviously there's a huge American military presence there which makes all of this really interesting because this is a front line right Even though there isn't an active conflict that doesn't mean that there isn't tension and that it's all rooted right in this place And it has some really interesting and fascinating domestic implications for Japan and politics and even American foreign policy So Matt what was the thing that initial thing that sparked your interest about what Yoshi set out to tell in this story Well I always look for what I call small stories that tell big stories of ways to go to one place or one company or one series of events and then go from there into a better understanding of big mega trends And what's cool about this story is Yoshi fabulous reporter in Japan who put this together was he found the series of communities in Japan which are struggling with the exact same problem that Japan as a whole has which is on the one hand economic dependence on China and in fact growing economic dependence on China But a deepening security alliance with the U.S. and obviously there's a contradiction there Well you know part of what I'd have to say is I was reading through it was really stark for me and where you said where he said should a war come between the U.S. and China basically And unlikely but increasingly plausible scenario because of what's going on in Ukraine I don't even I mean I do think about it but not and I feel like you realize okay how vulnerable or how this might play out ultimately Matt Well indeed and Japan something that is very apparent if you go back into history a little bit is Japan is deeply involved in the Taiwan issue Taiwan was a Japanese colony from 1895 until 1945 Actually in Taiwan there are somewhat fonder feelings about Japan than.

"Going to get me something, well, here's the list. Spoiler alert, it's all the usual stuff on the list. The top answers anyway, a card Valentine's card. Lovely, traditional flowers, chocolates, or candy, a nice dinner out. You gotta get kind of way on down there like 17% of people, the same amount of people that said I would like jewelry for Valentine's Day, said I would like some shimmy chamois. Some sweet, sweet shimmy chamois. The shimmers and the shamus. You know what I'm saying? Do you 'cause I don't. It's a made up term because I'm wound up pretty tight and there's only so many times per podcast I can say monkey. Four. Number four, now hold on. Are you planning some kind of romantic thing for Valentine's Day like perhaps asking someone to marry you? This is a new study out all about it. Top 5 places to get engaged, number one is during a romantic dinner. Also out of wedding at another wedding made the top 5. I've never what? Really? I don't really have an objection. I know you asked for objections. It's not really an objection. It's just the sweet little lady here beside me. I just wanted to say, francine, will you? Hey, can we get a deal a padre? If we come up there to the front right now, can we get a D that was me acting out end scene? Me acting out a situation where you would ask someone to marry you at a wedding. That only happens on the hallmark channel, doesn't it? This is a bit surprising. This part of the survey has to do with where to hide the engagement ring. If you are going to get engaged during a romantic dinner, number one place to hide and engagement ring in pizza. And number two is a salad. What the? This is cuckoo bananas. Oh wait. Didn't make the list. Bananas not on the list. Three. Number three is the razzie awards. I know the Academy Award nominations got a lot of coverage this past week, but the razzie awards didn't get enough coverage. I don't think because they did something they've never done before. You know, the raspberry Golden Raspberry awards for terrible movies. They made a special category this year. Worst performance by Bruce Willis in a 2021 movie. And it's 8 different movies, you guys. Is it gonna be Bruce Willis American siege? Bruce Willis for apex, Bruce Willis for cosmic sin, Bruce Willis for deadlock, Bruce Willis for fortress Bruce Willis for midnight in the switchgrass, Bruce Willis for out of death or Bruce Willis for survive the game. Guy made a lot of movies. He's a hard hardworking fella, or he made a lot of movies. Look, if I was as rich as Bruce Willis, and people were still throwing money at me to show up. Just show up. All you have to do is show up and scowl. He's got it down. Collect the check, move on. Number two is the eating contest between the giant bunny and the lady who happens to be a competitive eater, raina hwang versus honey bunny. Honey, mega bunny. It was a salad eating competition. So you want to say, well, all right, maybe the bunny would bunny's not a professional, but I mean, what bunny doesn't love a good salad? That bunny would know its way around a nice salad, right? Didn't even touch a bite. It was a resounding defeat. Honey bunny didn't even smell the salad I don't think. All right, the nose was moving, twitching, maybe that was some smelling going on. But the lady ate a three and a half pounds of salad in ten minutes. One. Number one is the French fry perfume, just in time for Valentine's Day. Frites by Idaho. Is the name of the French fries sent they're giving some away, there's a contest, but I think it's already sold out as far as ordering it. They say there could be a 6 week delay. How am I supposed to get this to my Valentine in time? My Valentine needs this perfume. For me to show my Valentine, how much I love them. They need French fries scented perfume. Valentine's is ruined. Thanks a lot, Idaho. I'm sorry, Idaho, I didn't mean to just really on edge Idaho. It's a pandemic. It's Valentine's. There's all the pressure. You come out with this wonderful perfume that would just completely show my Valentine how much I love her. All right, well, that's a wrap on that whole situation. The podcast is called, what a weird week, you can find out wherever you get podcasts if you want more details on the stories we talked about, the show notes are at show notes dot page. Show notes page, you can get all the podcasts, stuff there too. The usual link action for subscribing, streaming. Stream describing. Has anyone ever come up with stream scribing before? Is this a nice shorter way to say stream and subscribe? Who's hanging out in the monkey and closure? You know slack so well. So weird. This guy started singing monkey loving had me a blast. Monkey loving. It happened so fast it's like so weird. It takes to happen so fast you know. I met him monkey. She crazy for.

"It's what a weird week for February, February of bits. What a weird week for feb 12, 2022. Oh, in this episode, last minute Valentine's gifts, and how to lift weights for three seconds. It's a legit study you guys. Hi everybody, it's weird. This like crazy new helicopter really. We're down. Well, I got a great show for you. Today was a wonderful. My gosh, very excited about the three seconds of weightlifting story, so we'll get to that. This is what a weird week the podcast featuring ten weird things from this week's news. Again, this week, last minute Valentine's gifts and how to lift weights for three seconds. In the amount of time I said that, you'd be done your workout. Podcast links and all the show notes at show notes page and stream it like you mean it, baby. This is episode three 21, your number ten story is the Marvin Gaye impersonator who was hired to sing to The Monkees at a UK zoo. Singing the sweet, sweet sensual love songs in the monkey enclosure so that the monkeys come just gonna say it you guys. So that the monkeys would make sweet, sweet, monkey love. How do you think the monkeys felt about all that? It was like so weird, you know when you just hang it out in the monkey and closure, you know slack so well. So weird. Monkey love it. Head me a blank. Monkey loving. It happens so far as it's like so weird. It tends to happen so fast you know. I met a monkey. She crazy for me. 9. Feel like that was 100% accurate. I'm not a zoologist, but that's what's going on in a monkey brain, right? Number 9 story is MrBeast doing it big Willie style. Willy Wonka? You know, MrBeast, the YouTuber, right? He has a lot of followers. He's made a lot of money. He gives away big prizes. That's the formula. I'm gonna give away the secret right now. If you give away big prizes, your videos don't even have to be that great. People are gonna watch. Not saying MrBeast's videos are great as passionate fan base. What I'm saying is they don't have to be great because you can win a chocolate factory, you guys. The latest deal is he has a chocolate bar. The MrBeast bar and if you buy it, you could get a special thing. There's like ten bars with special tickets and if you're one of those special ten bars, you go, I mean, if you bought one of those special ten bar, if you're one of those special ten bars, you're gonna get eaten. Sorry, if you're one of the bars, first of all, thank you for liking and subscribing. The 5 star review on iTunes. But you're gonna get eaten bar and I don't know if you're able to make final arrangements or if you're a sentient chocolate bar. One of MrBeast bars and you're hearing this, maybe you already put two and two together. Maybe you've anyway, really kind of got so terrified there, but MrBeast contest is you can win a chocolate factory. 8. Just before number 8, I feel like I made it sound like MrBeast was giving away sentient chocolate bars. We're just not there yet, you guys. The chocolate industry has come a long way, cloning, our better understanding of the human mind, virtual reality, machine learning. It's all coming together. But we're not yet to a place where we have sentient chocolate bars, just in case that's what I made it sound like. 8. Number 8 is this TikTok that went viral. The lady who was doing the job interview didn't realize all of this was going to be recorded and watched by her, you know, the employer that she hoped would hire her. So the question is stupid cheesiest question I've ever read in my life. All right, what is your impression of sky west company culture and how does that resonate with you? So we were just talking about mission statements. You know how like every company has a mission statement? Yeah, like what they stand for. Yeah. So anyway, so I was going to say, but I just can't like word this correctly. And I'm like, you have to record yourself saying it, so it's so awkward. Right. You guys that whole thing was recorded. That whole thing went back to the employer, the almost employer, not employer anymore. If you want to watch that whole TikTok, link in the show notes. 7. Something beautiful about someone acknowledges they did something boneheaded, and it wasn't you, and they share, and they're like, hey, guess what I did? This is something boneheaded that doesn't involve you. It involves me. You can laugh at me. That's just a very generous and giving thing. 7. Number 7 is the new survey that indicates this coming Valentine's Day may be the worst Valentine's Day ever, ever, ever. Survey by dating dot com singles claim that because of the lousy stinking pandemic. Valentine's Day just doesn't have the same appeal. So you win again, COVID. Do you think if I say COVID too often, if I'm COVID COVID COVID, that the algorithms like the podcast will get, I don't know, downvoted or shadow banned? I don't even know what shadow ban is. So I'm definitely saying yes, shadow band. There's more to the survey. One of the things is, you know, the pressures of the pandemic and all that lousy stinking stuff. But more and more, we want loving and affection all year. Don't heap it up, you know, gifts and loving and rose petals, you know, garbage bag full of rose petals on Valentine's Day. No, how about some rose petals? A little bit of rose petals every day. That's one of the things that survey found. I'm sort of paraphrasing. 6. But I believe it did mention garbage bags full of rose petals. Let me just double check. Oh no, that's an open did not say that. 6. Good visual though. Number 6, three seconds of lifting weights is the new goal you guys. Three seconds. How come this wasn't leading every newscast everywhere you turned on media? You should have been seeing this story. It's a new study now, keep in mind it only involved 39 healthy university students. They did one muscle contraction at a maximum effort for three seconds a day, 5 days a week for a month. All right? So it's not a huge study, 39 people. And they do this muscle contraction as hard as they can. Maximum effort. Three seconds a day. Three seconds a day. So yeah, you could do that 5 days a week for a month, sure you could. Now, there were three different types of exercises depending, you know, they divided the group up. But everybody had muscle gain. After a month, everybody and so excited about the way the research is going here. Can we get it down to two seconds? Imagine the scientists. Yes, three seconds is good. But there are people lazy enough. There's this one guy who does a podcast in Canada. We're going to need to get it down to two, perhaps one second a day. A fella can dream. 5. Number 5, another Valentine's story. This is what we want for Valentine's Day. So we already had the study about, oh, Valentine's Day just not what it used to be. But.

"Guess on the Goodyear Hotline, three second round series remain all of them tied Who's going to the finals? Plus why we must lean into the best rivalry in sports and plenty of time for your calls. On this day. We call testing Tuesday around here. Let's get this thing started. Go. Only one place to start. We have breaking news. We have breaking news and just the last eight minutes, Adrian Ward Janowski. The great woes has tweeted that the Nets have upgraded James Harden too doubtful for Game five. He goes on to tweet. Harden is expected to test his hamstring and shoot around today. Has been determined to try and find a way to get cleared to play Game five sources tell ESPN there are no guarantees on his status. But Harden is trying to play with the series at two games apiece. I'm not the least bit surprised by this. It is no secret that I have disdain for the way a lot of NBA players treat the regular season. I do not in any way, however, question their desire to win championships. I understand that as part of their reasoning And what they do. I have no doubt. James Harden, even before he saw Kyrie go down. But then, especially after he saw Kyrie come down on the foot of Yannis Antique Ocampo, and then that ankle, the outside of that ankle actually touched the hardwood. From that moment, I have no doubt James Harden's only mindset is I have to find a way to get out there. So I respect that. What I'm interested in is to see if they force it in a game five. Or they hold it till an elimination situation. By virtue of having taken the first two games of this series, they put themselves in a position where they still have one more games worth of house money. So that becomes a very interesting one to me if I had to bet on this, and betting will be the operative word in just a moment. I would bet that Harden does not play tonight. They give it as much. Rest as they reasonably can and reasonably means up until the moment someone has won three games in a best of seven against them. So I think if Milwaukee wins tonight, I think we see Harden in Game six. I think if the Nets win tonight we see Harden in Game seven. That's what I would expect. But of course, he woke is saying he's going to go out there tonight and give it a go. So let's make this straight talk brought to you by straight talk. Wyler's No Kyrie No harden. Let's say it goes that way. No chance wrong. We won't get fooled again. The Great Rock and Roll band who wrote a song called We Won't Get Fooled again, and I'm singing it now. Last week. I told you bet the house, the ranch, the farm and anything else you have on Brooklyn in Game three, and Hambo said Greenie. Nine was at 92% of the money. Was on Brooklyn at that point, and I should have reversed course. And I didn't because I'm a dope, but I won't get fooled again. The Nets are a four point home underdog tonight at Caesars Sports Book by William Hill. 94% of the money. Here's on Milwaukee. 94% And there are no hard fast rules in life. Beyond this death, taxes and 94% of the people don't win money in Vegas. That's the third certainty in life. So I love the Nets tonight with the points and I actually believe they're going to win the game straight Talk wireless, No contract. No compromise. Let me make my case for why I believe they're going to win tonight. Now for whatever it's worth. The Nets played 15 games this year in which only one member of their big three played. They were nine and six in those games. Five of them. The one member of the Big Three was K. D. In those five games. They were four and one. They beat Indiana. They beat Minnesota. They beat the Knicks. They beat Denver. They lost a game in early January to Oklahoma City. So for whatever it's worth, they were four and one with only KD amongst the Big three during this regular season. I don't think that's worth anything. Here's what I think is And for this conversation, I'm going to briefly bring in my vice president of basketball cynicism, the one and only knew no You know, it is my belief that if P. J. Tucker breathes in the general vicinity of Kevin Durant tonight, they're calling a foul. And if he breaks wind, it's a flagrant two. That is my prediction. What are your thoughts? I would go one further that the Bucks shouldn't start PJ on Kevin Durant. Just because of that reason, I mean, the officiating is such a huge part of this series. Milwaukee in Brooklyn were one and two in scoring this regular season. They combined average 239 points per game. That has been down to 201. Through four games of this series. All four games have gone under. The over under tonight, by the way is 217 and a half, So we have that. We have that situation. I believe the Nets have an excellent chance to win this game tonight because Vegas tells me so and because I believe the officiating will look vastly different. Based on home court and a lot of other things. Have a more interesting question. You.

"Kids probably shouldn't watch the never ending story by the way. Take it from a lifelong hand-wringing teeth. Gnashing certified anxious person who did watch the neverending story as a kid. Just take my word on this fun and enjoy not sending your tweens therapy when a field trip to a dude ranch leaves her in a six week existential cesspit. You are welcome anyhow. I was thinking as i drifted to a gentle stop through my buggy and park and collapsed against the to firm driver's seat lumbar nightmare. Like the pile of mushy tension. I was an actually. Let the calming familiarity of his emphatic. Instrumented pino man cover wash over me embracing it for what it was as i stopped doggy. Paddling against the inevitability of at all accepted the untenable fact that i had been on hold for sixteen minutes and thirty three obnoxious godforsaken seconds from upper peach street in erie to this most perfect of little. Pull off spots just outside of watts. Berg and that there was no end in sight that i was going to be late getting the girls because my brain was sludge by that point and i could no longer tolerate the sound of hold music and the relentless pounding of oncoming car oncoming car flash of high beams because someone assumes you're refusing to dim your own oncoming car inexplicable man on a bike in january on your sixth mile of uninhabited highway. In a windbreaker that i was going to sleep at best a grand total of three and a half hours before being hog tied like dracula and drug into the unholy predawn conscious awareness of yet. Another day i just said goodbye to a man who spent his adult life trying to iron out the kinks in his own childhood trauma to divorce the rigid metal ribs of distinct and convoluted slinky's between two issues. He internalized watched his parents struggle with them and his own one thing he said stands out to me not in the warm hug of some enlightening epiphany would that it were so clear or soothing or simple rather it glares at me like the endless parade of undimmed headlights on country roads. That forgive the hell out of me. But i think might be to social crisis. We've all been letting go unchallenged. way way too long. i find that when i'm president with my son. This person said after describing the frustration that has followed that terrible moment when a child realizes they can ruin your whole day with the right kind of wiggle. When you're trying to change their decayed diaper. He stops trying to get away. I find it so confronting. I think because it is for me as a mother. One of the most inconvenient truths about parenting. I will ever face. I have to actually disconnect from the world and just parent if i want parenting to be easy but most days for the past year but for what actually sometimes feels like as long as time itself. I am lucky to conjure the cognitive energy and compulsion toward self-preservation required to wash the world off me at the ends of them to consistently accomplish nothing at all other than grooming myself and appearing functional would be an improvement from where. I have been at certain points this past year. But then the person on the other end of the line clicks back into my world and a wake at that perfect perfect little. Pull off spot just outside watts. "Sixteen minutes and thirty three seconds. I've been a difficult customer this week. I've gotten frustrated on the phone with people from whom i've found it difficult to exercise their job or rather their employer if a company has kept me waiting or failed to show even the slightest amount of concern for the inconvenience. My last nerve has officially frayed. That company is now dangling like skywalker with one hand and one stub precariously from the dingle berry of the universe. I am not proud of the amount of patients. I lost this week with people who are just people. Same as i am people. I've had a couple of people lose their patients with me as well come to think of it. When does not equate flat. me with. Customer service intuitively. It is a facet of the job. You come to realize just a bit too late once. The tax forms are filled in and the direct deposits are setup and everything's just beginning to sink in the gravity of the commitment. You've just made not to mention the sheer number of social interactions. You've just signed up to experience every single day and it's okay at work for the most part. I'm fine with it. I had a long conversation with someone else the other day someone who struggles likewise with social interactions outside the house anxiety and a tendency to percent rate which is different from ruminating in that during ruminations. Something is accomplished whereas with precipitation you just keeps bidding the same soggy straw up from your guts and rolling it around in your mouth for a while before swallowing it again. Structurally unchanged from the last time. You worked it up and the time before that and the time before that time before it was. I suppose a sort of airing of grievances a month too late. I'm always relieved to hear that someone else's feelings same pressure as i am i'm given to relentless bouts of shadow boxing myself. Maybe it's not as bad as making it out to be anyhow. Maybe i'm just reading too much into it ono. She gets it to somehow. I maintain this delusional. Hope that i will one day attain the nirvana of complete social ignorance. I've been told by people that i'm unnerving to be around. Because i can hear the tones of their voices. Humans have evolved. It would seem to bottleneck all the subconscious awareness channel it into the content of their speech. Not the tone in which it's delivered because humans have also evolved. It would seem to be as deaf to the nuances in their daily interactions. As an eighty year. Old metalhead grandpa. I can see the little quirks and mannerisms that happen automatically magically taking up less than zero percent of persons conscious bandwidth. I'm not saying i'm special. Actually tuning into people isn't a superpower reserved for the highly savant idiot. Every single one of us has the capacity to develop it just as we would any other muscle or skill or habit you too could feel the texture of a voice for better or worse as it's tucked into your ear by gentle. Whisper or vomited at you across a four way intersection. It's knowing how to shut it off to me that may as well be some unholy alchemy of the highest order like algebra and the sports balls is someone who has shed much of the internalized expectation that i control what my face does. When you talk to me. It can be exhausting to try and shove myself into a little box. Behaviorally a narrow spectrum of appropriate reactions responses and initiations having worked in customer service. Try very hard to shove myself directly into that very box and keep all of my feelings to myself. In that context. I have not succeeded this week. I have also done ridiculous things. I have forgotten my idea for things. I knew absolutely that. I would need my. Id for even after having been reminded to bring my. Id with me to the thing that you cannot do without it. I promise that was neither exciting nor titillating. It was painful if that does anything for you. I have made appointments that. I have neglected to keep on more than one occasion simply because i forgot and i know that i'm fortunate to have the problem. I'm about to unburden myself. Up to you dear reader but i am utterly utterly burned out from the amount of work available to me in so many ways right now. Our world feels like an extended exercise in east or famine. All or nothing black or white for those of us. In america those existential conflicts are amplified deafening as those among us who have never been patriotic. Our lives have wept it images of people with whom we share a common resource one would assume a common goal of needs. Only the absence of antagonists to thrive and flourish desecrate ding are philosophical brains of told us for three decades hold one iota of actual significance other than that with which we choose to infuse it latent patriotism activated by coming as close as anyone has to actual domestic terrorism in generations is jarring in inconvenient little monster to be expected to grapple with at this time and place in the world and yet here we are sure. Life doesn't even matter at this point. Just stack it on top of the homeschooling and the looming. Threat of an unstoppable viral menace in the seething personal anguish over whether i'm making progress or sinking like our tax benevolent sin. Lewis our tax for god's sake in a swamp of freaking sadness..

That's just a 212. That's a veteran play that Ducky should have been a lot better than he did. I'd have to get another look at maybe what happened through the neutral zone and again.
