"So therefore, if I look at the three options for magic alpha tame, your 50 days in, almost yes. Almost. Asset sales IPO or strategic stakeholders, you have 50 days in, you're in charge. This is your chance. Which of these three are you tempted towards for magadan for time? A partial IPO, the market is lit up like a Christmas tree. Strategic stake sale to a sovereign wealth fund or specific asset sale. Well, it's first important to acknowledge that we have a very strong balance sheet. And I think one of the things that will most proud and measure for teams is that we've hold on to our triple-b investment grade rating throughout COVID post COVID and coming out of COVID. And with the passing on of mister major hamo, the company continues to enjoy a very strong financial position. We have been able to tap the capital markets. We've renewed our hybrid with a green hybrid. So we have access to a very deep and diversified set of financing financing options. That really gives us the confidence to be able to fund our growth, whether that growth is 50% growth in online sales, properties, growth, and even the cinemas without so many movies being released on time has still had 20% plus growth year on year. But this is my argument would be this is not about a need for capital. This is about a monetization of assets. It's a pressure from the family to monetize and go the IPO route. So we have, I think, a very fortunate position with the passing of mister magic almost a year and a quarter ago. This was obviously very sad for his family for the company and for the wider business community. But it's also been a good test of the resilience and governance of magic for time. And that's perhaps misunderstood a lot harmless greatest legacies that he's left behind in independently governed and very well professionally managed company. And that really gives us the strength to build on. What's even more, I think reassuring is the support that we've received from our shareholders who have publicly reconfirmed their support for the company for the governance and in fact in my appointed appointment that shows unanimously approved on very grateful for that. So I think from a governance perspective and from a financing perspective, we have all the ingredients that we need to continue to serve the 600 million customers that we serve to continue to look after the 50,000 people who work for measure for team and to continue to honor our financial commitments. You come from adventures background, has the time never been better to seize the moment and go for an IPO. I'm going to push through this door. Don't worry. The next time you come back, it'll be easier. But come on, it's an amazing moment. Are you going to advocate that that should go on the shoot? Well, I come from a manager for people background. There have been 16 years with manager. And measure for them has always been and will always be about the long term. We have a very clear I think long-term road map to grow the business, continue to build on the solid foundations that we have. It is a challenge on the profitability side and we've had a profitability challenge for some time. And for you, are you going to be a deal maker beyond you're going to continue on doing deals? Where's your target? Where's the biggest target for you to do with the let's say to grow the business? So our growth, moving forward. It's not just going to be about top line growth. I think part of my focus moving forward and the entire leadership team at manager for team is to rebalance our growth towards more profitable sustainable long-term long-term growth. Thank you very much. Good to have you in the seat for your first run 50 days in. Let's see what you did in a hundred. I hope you're not doing IPO and don't come and tell me. That is the CEO Ahmed galal Ishmael at the CEO at majid alpha team. My guest this morning on the numbers right here on Bloomberg setting the agenda. Dinesh Assesses Marjorie Taylor Greene's Idea for a “National Divorce”
"Let's begin by thinking about what Marjorie Taylor Greene meant by this because the concept of a national divorce can be understood in more than one way. In fact, I can think off the top of my head of at least three or four ways that we can interpret it. So one way to interpret it would be, for example, secession, we split the country into two, and of course that has some sorts of operational difficulties. It's not quite as simple of north south or east west. It would have to be a very complex division. So that's option, but it's only option number one. Option number two would be that we create parallel societies. Do Americas inside of America, something I've argued for. And something that to some degree is already happening. I'll say more about that in the next segment. But that's the second option. A third option is decentralization of power. Take power away from Washington. Now we can see that people in Washington won't want to give up power without a fight without a struggle, but nevertheless, the idea of dispersing power to the different jurisdictions, not way red states can live the way they want, blue states can live the way they want, the federal government oversees the process, but it's not the kind of nerve center of making decisions for the whole country. So these are three different ways to think about the so called national divorce. Let's listen to Marjorie Taylor herself because she gave a lengthy interview in which she spelled out her thoughts about it, which I think are quite provocative. And the first thing she says is that many Americans are giving up. They're sick of the Talking Heads that just complain about problems and politicians who don't fix anything. While the right keeps taking beatings and abuse from the left. So that's the whole point that our starting point is kind of the Texas model. We're not gonna take it anymore.

Russell, Edwards help Timberwolves beat Warriors in OT
"D'angelo Russell and Anthony Edwards sent the Timberwolves past the warriors one 19 one 14 and overtime. Russell scored 14 of his 29 points in the fourth quarter, but he fouled out one minute into OT. I was just taking what they were giving us. You know, their defenses, it's a lot of scheming to it and you know, they make you think and make you use your second and third option. Tonight we were trusted. Edwards took over after Russell left, scoring four of his 27 points in OT and providing several key plays. Minnesota forced overtime by erasing an 11 point deficit in the fourth quarter. Steph Curry had 29 points and ten rebounds for Golden State. I'm Dave ferry

Kirk Cameron: Audiences Are Showing Lots of Love for 'Life'
"Kirk, I'm curious about the response you mentioned it came out this past weekend. Have you started getting some feedback from people who went to go see the film? Oh, yes. Lots of people are coming out. We have videos on our social media and people are just they're balling their eyes out. They're laughing their heads off. And they're saying, wow, this is one of the best movies that I've seen because a, it's a true story, and it's hard to argue with a true story. Whether you're pro life pro choice, whatever we want to offer the third of the third option, which is the adoption option and it shows the beautiful side of what can happen if you choose life for your baby. The movie's pro abundant life pro forgiveness pro love pro family, pro reconciliation and new beginnings. So we just are thrilled with the reactions. It's got a 97% Rotten Tomatoes, audience score, which is really high. And we're in the top ten movies in the nation this weekend. So really encourage people to go see it, bring your kids, it's made for the family. Everybody will own it.

Warner Brothers Has a Big Decision to Make About Ezra Miller
"Speaking of badass, I shouldn't say that because he's not a badass. Let's just call him an ass. Ezra Miller, I've talked about him for the last couple of weeks. This is the guy that plays the flash Ezra Miller is a terrible person. He's been arrested and, you know, cops have been after him from anything from kidnapping to shoplifting to assault in Vermont in Hawaii. He's a real prick, but he's the flash. And Warner Brothers, even though they got rid of batgirl and the Scooby-Doo movie, they made no bones about we're keeping the flash and you stalked going, well, what does this guy have to do to lose the movie? Now Warner Brothers has a decision to make. About the flesh. And this is the last time I'm going to talk about it, but there's three options Warner Brothers has. In one scenario, the crazy Ezra Miller, with the support of his mother, I'm not going to say their mother, I refuse to do the pronoun bullshit for non binary people I refuse to do it. So forget it. His mother, who's currently with him, in the first scenario, Ezra Miller should seek professional help and maybe, you know, give an interview at some point, explaining his erratic behavior of the past few years, then they could do like a limited press for the flash sort of thing and the movie would open and send him as planned. That scenario number one. Scenario number two is Ezra doesn't seek help. Maybe they can release the film in theaters as planned, but Ezra would not have a prominent role in terms of marketing and publicity. So you see the movie, he's not going to go out there in front of the movie and talk about it and publicize it. No, no talk show appearances, et cetera. And maybe they recast future flash films. Actually, they would have to. Third scenario, the situation where Ezra Miller deteriorates even further, which is not out of the question. This would see Warner Brothers killing the movie outright because it can't be reshot with a different actor at this point. Ezra Miller plays multiple characters and he's in almost every scene, so we're talking about scrapping a $200 million film, which would be unprecedented.

"What the cities ideas, three options to fix up where the bear is play, they've got their eye on Arlington Heights, though. Mark gannis are you impressed by what the city is putting out there? Not very impressed. No. Too little and way too late. Do you think there's anything the city could do? This is a sports marketing expert who has been advising us as well as cities and teams around the country on sports stadiums. Do you think there's anything the city can do now to patch things up or keep the bears in town? There was, but I don't think there is any longer. What could have been done in being proactive is to come up with a plan that would have a new stadium built with a meaningful amount of public funding that at the bears could control at least for bears games and could be used as a component to McCormick place to aid in conventions and bring in new money that way. But that is not to be the case and frankly the landlord tenant relationship between the bears and the park district has deteriorated so much that they couldn't even communicate with each other on something the Illinois legislature approved of sports gambling operations at social field. So not anymore. I think this is now done, the bears are moving along very well, methodically, professionally, getting all the work that needs to be done at Arlington Heights. And that is where I expect the future of the bears will be for generations to come. How about this for a Hail Mary sell the stadium to the team for cheap? You know, I agree with you that it's a Hail Mary, but when you've got a hundred year old house giving it away that that's always good that needs a lot of work. Give a getaway doesn't necessarily make it a good deal for the person who's taking it over. One of the ideas from the city is to expand the seating to 70,000, is that big enough anyway? The seating numbers are irrelevant. The NFL has been moving toward to smaller stadiums now for quite a while. And it's also a small amount of the revenue that gets generated at the building goes last extra 5000 seats or so really aren't a very big deal. This is about controlling destiny. This is about creating a building from scratch that has all the things that are needed today and may be needed in the future. This is about being able to control the building and not have to ask mother may I, every time you want to do something. Well, that is true, isn't it, that as long as the park district or the city control the venue, then the team is always just going to be a tenant. Correct. I can understand how an attractive that is. Yes. Now, there are many examples where teams are tenants to public sector authorities that own the stadiums, but the relationships are much better. Even here in Chicago, we see that with the White Sox and the Illinois sports facilities authority. That is a real partnership between the two. And the illness sports facilities authorities always there to work with and help the White Sox and the White Sox work with and help the that is not the relationship that exists and has existed for years at soldier field between the bears and the park district. Wait, look at that artist rendering. You've got this beautiful horseshoe shaped stadium with a glass wall or some sort of well now it is really nice and then this enormous lawn on the north side and there's the Lake and there's the trees on the Parkway and I'm like, I want that. You know what 2.2 billion? Who do they expect to pay for it? And who do they expect to actually be in it? But let me tell you, John. It is a lot cheaper to hire good artists to do a rendering like that than to actually build it. This is the same sort of sell job and I don't mean that in pejoratively as it sounds. But as we got with the casinos, they said, look at this. Look at this, look at this, you go, wow, it looks awesome. And you're so right. But it will be awesome. I mean, who's to say we won't get something that looks like that? Well, but who's going to be in it? The fans are going to go. Well, you know, they've got to be watching some events on the field. I would think that the Chicago fire will enjoy retrofitting sulfur fuel to make it a little better for soccer and concerts and other kinds of events like that. But are you saying that it won't get used enough? Is that your point? Well, certainly not at a 2.242 to justify a $2.2 billion price tag. Who pays that? John, you have just asked the 60 the $2.2 billion question. Remember the old show the $64,000 question. You've just hit the nail on the head. Who pays for it? How does it get paid for? And why would anyone in their right minds say that the solution is to spend $2.2 billion on a building that's a hundred years old? Well, you know the answer to that. I mean, really, you do. The answer is you spend 2.2 billion or say 1 billion if you think you can turn a profit on it. If that brings more money to the city than it's a good investment, is it a good investment that way? Absolutely not. And well, just take a look at when they built that arena, the wintrust arena with all of those wonderful projections about all the events that are going to take place. And how the building was going to pay for itself. That was a boondoggle from the first moment it was conceived and what they did was they did the standard operating procedure, John. They used OPM, other people's money. Okay, with all due respect, in a season ticket holder at wind trust. It's a completely different venue. It's a completely different purpose. I mean, this is on the Lake. It's outdoors. It's open. It's apples and oranges, isn't it? The best, the best thing that has going for it there is the view from the Goodyear blimp. It is gorgeous. It shows Chicago so beautifully, especially on those lovely evenings in the early fall when we have prime time games. It's gorgeous. But the problem is it does not work for an NFL team in 2022 and beyond. And. As bad as it is for the bears to imagine staying in Chicago on the Lake, is it equally good for them to be in Arlington Heights? Has had a home run? What makes Arlington Heights home run is that they have 300 plus acres that they can develop to help offset the construction costs on the stadium that they will be able to program the entire plot of land and all the ingress and egress to service the bears and the stadium. That they will have the NFL being there right from the start, helping them finance design and even providing significant capital to offset some of the bears costs in the building. I don't mean to denigrate soldier field. I think that or the area, certainly not the area, when Jim Edgar proposed McDonald, I know John, you and I are old enough to remember this. When he proposed McDonald that was the right solution. That was building a new multi purpose stadium that would help McCormick place in the bears along the lakefront. But it didn't happen because we are very parochial in this area as to who controls what and the mayor wanted to control the project that he wanted the state to fund in the state wanted it to be under the

Supreme Court Abortion Law Leak: What Happened and Why Does It Matter?
"The biggest case in front of the Supreme Court is the Dobbs V Jackson women's health organization. This is the abortion case. This is the Mississippi case that outlaws abortion beyond 15 weeks. And of course, the court was sort of faced with sort of three options, a firm roe versus wade. Number two, uphold the Mississippi law, but somehow square it with roe versus wade and the third, knock over roe versus wade and along with that Planned Parenthood versus Casey, essentially return the abortion question to the states. And there was a leak that just came out in the magazine well on the website political. And the league not only says that the court has arrived at an early decision to overturn roe versus wade, but the decision is 5 to four that justice Samuel Alito has drafted the majority opinion, representing the 5 justices, and we know who those 5 justices are, so if I used to say that Roberts decided not to be in the 5, although I'll talk about Roberts a little bit later. A 5 four decision 5 votes to overthrow a row, return the matter to the states. And Alito drafted a lengthy opinion 98 pages. Now this is not the final opinion, but nevertheless, it is a closely reasoned, heavily footnoted detailed argument. And the whole brief was leaked. So the dissenting opinions appear not to have been written yet, and we'll talk a little bit about how that leak might have occurred. But I want to talk about how startling it is that the security around the court, because this kind of information by and large stays with the justices, and with their clerks.

Orgs Like 'Catholics for Choice' Cross-Promote Planned Parenthood
"There's an organization called Catholics for choice, can imagine that has a huge following. For youth having accurate information and answers to questions they need related to sex, reproductive healthcare, and changing bodies, healthy relationships is critical in helping make their own informed decisions. Do we have cut 28 lined up? Let's play cut 28. To find out if your friend is pregnant, they can take a home pregnancy test. These tests are available in grocery stores. Drugstores and local family planning clinics, like Planned Parenthood. So that's just a short snippet where they are advertising, Planned Parenthood, through these videos. So here's how to have sex. Here's how to watch porn. Here's how to go. And by the way, if you get pregnant, here's also a resource planned parent. It's a business model. Every single one of these industries need each other. Play cut 29. Be aware that there are some clinics that trick women into coming to them for pregnancy options counseling. But then did not accurately provide all of the information or talk honestly about all of the options open to a pregnant person. There are three options open to a person who finds themselves pregnant. Becoming a parent, putting the child up for adoption and aborting the pregnancy. Option one is to continue the pregnancy and parent the baby. This is a tough road, especially if the person is still a teenager or in school. This is a tough road. So you might not have to have a child showing the child crying. Miss propaganda, it's pro abortion propaganda that's happening in your schools.

He could have gotten us out early. He could have pushed them back with drone strikes like Trump would have done on day one. And it's all preventable. You can't screw it up any worse than this, John and and and that's the frustrating thing and let me tell you something. This beheading these murders this weekend, the rights taken away from women. Mark my words. It's only the beginning of the hell That is going about that will be unleashed in that country. I'll give you the last word, my friend. We got it all on Hannity dot com. Some of our patriotic friends are on the ground. What do we know all about it to make sure that doesn't happen. But again, I think again. How to Use a Stereo Pair of Speakers With Amazoon Echo
"As you may recall last week, we covered two of the three different scenarios of how you can combine your echo devices to create some more immersive audio when it comes to your echo speakers. And I want to cover that third option today. The way you would set this up, again, you go into your Lexi app. You click on devices. You click on the plus sign in the upper right corner, then you click uncombined speakers. And the third option that we're talking about today is, of course, a stereo pair slash subwoofer as the Amazon team calls it in the options. This allows you to pair two speakers for stereo and or add a subwoofer for deeper base. So what you do is you click on that option, you then can select up to two speakers and a subwoofer. All those speakers have to be online on the same network and in the same room for that to work. Once you click on that, then you click next in the upper right corner. You then choose. And this is pretty cool. You then choose which of those speakers you want to be the left channel and which of those speakers you want to be. The right channel. And then when you do that, you click next and then you give it a name. So this group of speakers will have a name. That way, when you asked for music, you can use the name of that group to specify that it be played on that group of speakers. You can choose one of the names that are suggested, or you can create a customized name, then you click save, and then you are essentially good to go and that. How you do it? That's a stereo pair with or without a.

3 Automations Tools You Must Know!
"The first toll that i will be covering. Today is happier zappia and makes you happier and is the leading no code automation tool with over thirty eight hundred immigration partners think hub spot milch him google counter and pretty much any toy you can imagine and if they don't have a direct integration you can probably find documentation or youtube video on how to set up the automation you need with a web hook happier is a y combinator backed company led by zayd foster and is probably the best hope to start. If you're looking to get into automation for the first time zap here is the most used toll in no code automation and entire six and seven figure. Businesses have been built using this toll. The only issue with zapper is if you're building a business on top of it. The price can add up extremely fast. I have used an paid for zappia in the past. And i think it is a great tool and how you recommend it to those looking to get started in automation or those that have businesses and are ready to automate those businesses. The second of all that. I'm going to be covering today. Is integra mac. Integra is an incredible automation tool that is affordable and a more visual experience. They were recently acquired for around one hundred million dollars. Integra matters as sleek web-based no code automation tool that pairs with their mobile app for the ultimate automation experience. If you don't like how zappia displays the workflows as you build. I highly recommend trying out. Integra matt i personally use it and pay for it and i think it is fairly easy to use an extremely powerful in regards to what you can do. I think there's i think you can use integral matt. And we'll have more flexibility compared to like zap your but if your needs aren't that complex zap is still a great option. But i personally love. And i pay for integral about their starting plan starts at about nine dollars a month. So it's extremely affordable for makers that are looking to start automating some of their business processes. The third option is air table so as many of you know air table is basically google sheets on steroids and conserve as simple spreadsheet or the back end for a web app. You're building. They have an internal automation tool that connects to popular tools. You use like gmo slack. Google calendar as well as moving data within air table. People run entire businesses just using air table their automation tool. I use it personally for our company placed and they are necessary for our business to function as efficiently as it does. I highly recommend air table and with our business we do events right so logistically speaking that can be a nightmare. But because of air table and air table automations. It makes the process seamless. And yes i highly recommend for sure other notable automation tools include. Ui bakery parabola directional and if this if this then that i know that's another really popular it's not gonna go into too much but they are very very simple way to build basic automations disaster but even a level below

That would be entitlement spending, which neither side wants to touch. Had those three options up. And you get legislation that would make a real difference for this country. It fix a long standing problem. Everybody would win and both sides would take a small lost too. And some faith might actually be restored in our ability to come together and get something done. And that could end up being the biggest victory of all. Little bit of the phone lines here. 809 69 93 52 of the numbers 809 69 93 52. Would have bipartisan infrastructure deal. And in particular, that you would give us words that you would give us a speech that you would give us the language of the gospel. The language of Pentecost. We pray this in Christ's name. Come in. Late night host Jimmy Kimmel launched a bit on his show a few years ago. It's called mean tweets. Some of you have seen this along the way. For those who haven't the concept is to video record celebrities, right actors or actresses, Athletes, musicians, politicians. To have these celebrities read real tweets about themselves that real people wrote. Now they are often vulgar and crash and demeaning and more times than not, they're filled with expletives that are not appropriate for a Sunday morning sermon. Harshness of the words. Is somewhat glossed over by the fact that these celebrities as they read these mean tweets about themselves. They just sort of laugh it off. They just sort of joke about it. Sometimes they'll offer a quick witted, clap back or retort. To the original message and messenger. It's interesting to note that just this week and considering the ubiquitous nature of the mean tweet phenomenon that just this week Twitter recently launched a new feature on there. Platform to help curb meanness. Through complex algorithm out algorithms. Twitter is now able to detect the composition of a mean tweet while it's being composed in real time. And what they'll do is prior to you. Sending your mean tweet. Twitter will send a pop up message. That will ask one simple question. Want to review this before tweeting. The users, then presented with three options, tweet, edit or Delete. Twitter piloted this technology all of last year. They did it with a small sample size of its users. And they found that. Interestingly, they found that when prompted when prompted 34% of the users who are testing this feature out 34% of the users. Decided to revise their initial tweet or not send it it all one out of three isn't bad to curb meanness. Despite Twitter's attempts to make us a little less cruel and a little less callous. Does it not seem to you? That speech and rhetoric and tone. Have all gotten a little bit more intense in our times. Perhaps a little bit nastier. Little bit more awful. More wicked, perhaps even more vulgar. I mean, just look at what passes for good comedy today, whether it's on the screen or On the stand up stage not to sound too puritanical about this, but But much of what passes is good comedy is super raunchy. Look at our political rhetoric or our social media feeds, or even our interactions.

Those could be three options for them to go and would make more sense for them to stay on the west coast, but that isn't stopping. Julia, Thank you so much, Ed Will China is moving closer to rolling out the world's first major sovereign digital currency. With speculation over the global implications reaching fever pitch. Let's get to Tianshan Bloomberg Asia Effects reporter to update US on the latest on digital you one fronts and Tien China's push here for the Digital yuan, certainly gaining traction. What's been the reaction from early users so far? Any good morning. Thanks for having me. Yes, the curtain just need to tell you and it's pretty much of very much hyped. We saw a lot of big name investors, saying that it's a potential challenge to the U. S financial industry as that of the dollars throw as the World Reserve currency, but so far after into being seven People who actually use the currency. They're not that impressed This. There are still more willing to use Allie pay as well as attend since retractor rhesus. So there is too pretty a long way before China can make the digital U. N word for the bigger population. I think And there's also these concerns as well that the White House is looking into the potential threat to U. S interests. We heard from the history of Neil Ferguson saying that the digital you want is a potentially fatal challenge as well. TOC American financial system Tell us a little bit about what we're hearing from some of these, I guess critics Yes, it Z. There's a lonely before China can make this work not only because a lot of younger generation is they're pretty much used to using the big tech companies, services and also China's China's Financial borders are closed that you wanted very at this spot us very tightly controlled, and there are also concerns about privacy and other about of other issues. So there's speculation that it's only a better way for the government to monitor people's financial eyes. It's not easy tool for people to use. And I think that's that's the biggest criticism that we're hearing right now. Getting back to the physical currency. We saw it jump in the spot market on Friday. That was thanks to that worse than expected US jobs. That daughter what are you hearing in terms of the outlook for the one Yeah, That's the interesting question of just kind of got a. The latest update. Latest progress on that front is the PBOC has issued a fixing this a lot weaker than expected this morning. That means the Beijing is kind of worried about the U. S rally. Um, you and it was very close to hitting, breaking this year's high and had all the way toward the strongest 2018. So that means the PBOC is worried that that too strong like them, they heard. Really fragile economic recovery, so and that's right now the central bank is trying to civilize currently, instead of letting it advanced was just a dollar. We know some of these stabilization sometimes comes in the form of state media and China's state media has said that the money market rate will remain stable in May. So is the money market facing any pressures this month? Yes among America's fizzing a pretty big liquidity shortage this month because the local central government are expected to sell more bombs, and that's going to drain liquidity from the market. And at the same time, um so we're going to see more banks helping presto pay tax and other since that made during liquidity, so We saw and there's and strategies saying that we're worried that man America rate may Spike and the 10 year government yields a mistake, so I think Watch. The same it is trying to do is to suit sentiment who's confident and kind of implied that the P beauty may inject more the quality and towards them made off this month. All right, John. Thanks. So much for inside. Stanton is Bloomberg Asia? If ex reporter with us in Hong Kong time for Bloomberg opinion, Now we're joined by opinion columnist Adam Minter, who's running about China's population dip, and perhaps the silver lining behind it. So, Adam. I guess the crux of your pace here is that in the absence of official Dart said there could be some rumors that we may have seen the first population decline in decades. In China. What have you found? Well, you know, it's very interesting Does. China has not released its census data that was supposed to be out April and there's been reports of cleaning from the FT. That's the reason is that there is they are showing a population decline. And even the official denials of the actual story say Well, it's not declining this year. It's going to be declining next year, so the population is declining. Whether it's last year this year or next year, it is declining, and that's a deep concern. China central government because it's going to create fiscal problems they have a rapidly aging population of that, in turn, will cause productivity problems for the economy, impacting the school the competitiveness We know in order to get the population under control. There are a lot of very strong and stricter measures, including forced sterilization, the one child policy what can turn this around, though, in terms of trying to get people to procreate, Maura, if it is, if the country is facing a population decline, well, it's going to be difficult and the proof really is in the efforts of countries neighboring countries that are also facing population to clients like Singapore, Japan, Korea Um, you know, good. The efforts in those countries have only had limited success. But those efforts have been important. They have included universal child care. They have.

Antonio Brown Re-Signing With Buccaneers on One-Year Deal
"Antonio brown is good. The case could be made over a six year period before he left pittsburgh he was the best receiver. Sense jerry. rice and the thing about receivers are randy. Moss might have this amazing year or two and his talent was you know. Maybe the best avenue randy moss. Another guy might have a year or two but these receivers tend to come and go fast. Now they stick around they might be like. Julio jones is he won the top three receivers. now he's not today but he certainly had times. Wise brown was very consistent very consistent and in just eight games. He had forty five catches as the number three option and what really stood out is his yards after catch or the best on the team so this is not a guy going out of bounds. This is a guy taken the ball and head up the field. I agree very productive. And if you think about it then that's awesome great. Why well obviously there's the author field questions but if you look at the time before the off the field were the questions. This was as productive receivers. We've seen since jerry rice and that's saying something that means maybe the second most productive six year period ever ever. Now he's hitting the wall when it comes to his age Four receivers typically again jerry. Rice was the exception to that even if he drops off a little bit a little bit. 'cause age antonio brown i believe will be at least as good if not better this year. Well how could he drop off and be better. The other circumstances remember he joined the team midseason right as much as he is a pro's pro in a way that in browns able to get acclimated and get integrated. He was paying much better coming into the playoffs now. He did get hurt but to me. His last three or four games were better than his first three or four which is a trend line. I think they continues with a more robust offseason into having the whole time with the team. So net net. I think browns more of a factor

The Lead
Are Donovan Mitchell and the Jazz True Contenders?
"So tony. Let's start this story during last year's playoffs done mitchell and jamal murray have this epic battle in the nba. Bubble shot clock down to four. Mitchell has millsaps. Automobile three took three and returns the staredown ton of matchel clutch. Three pointer for the jazz. Eventually mitchell jazz fall in dramatic fashion a game. Seven two seconds ago for the winter. Tell us about donovan. Mitchell after that loss of known donovan. Pretty well in the four years. He's been with the johnson. I don't think i've seen him data emotional in the post game. There's so many things. I just feel like we could did and we didn't and i think that's just where the hurt really comes because quite frankly i don't i give them credit but i feel like we kind of eased off the gas. You have to remember the jazz at a be in the second half of game five which was supposed to be oppose out game for them to do more and this won't happen again is extremely down and he just basically said. We're not losing in the first round of the playoffs anymore. This ain't the end. This ain't this is just the beginning man. This is just the just the beginning. And i'm ready to go. Who begin right now and so once. The cameras were gone and donovan. Mitchell was back home in utah. How how did he spend. This off. season is funny. Because i talked to somebody close to donovan mitchell about this a couple of weeks ago and one thing he said was donovan was on the phone with people like literally. You know two or three days after the season Sam less workout. You know the thing about donovan. He's a guy that goes out and he works on his craft resolutely. And you know. I think that not only. Did he work on his craft during the offseason but after that the rest of the jazz from person one person fifteen worked on their craft under all season as well. Well let's bring it forward to this year. How did mitchell in the jazz start off. The current season they started off on four and with two really bad losses unforced turnover passing out an equal. Don't runaway league beasley. They lost the minnesota timberwolves at home. In the second game of the season they will blown out and outclassed in brooklyn nets team did james harden because they hadn't traded for them and they didn't have durant is everywhere. Count it at one but rudy rudy. Did show back up on the screen and brooklyn's play it with alan at the energy so basically re irving at a bunch of role players that blasted the jazz in new york. You know jazz nation on the fan base was kind of going crazy. The jazz a couple of games where they look like world-beater. They had a couple of games where they look really back. And tony. I wanted to ask you about this moment. That happened on live television a few weeks ago. That was really widely discussed. It started at halftime of jazz. Pelicans game when the tnt broadcast crew was discussing the game. My question to the panel. Donovan mitchell is that the point of superstardom where he can take you there. Or he's still all star status. He needs to be so go. Third option really. Yes yeah i feel like it. No talent to do it. He's a great score. Grew there but if he's not score. What else can you do. And when the game ended shack starts interviewing donovan mitchell. Who's still on the court right after the jazz victory. Yeah and he says. I said tonight. That you are one of my favorite players. But you don't have what it takes to get to the next level as central purpose on wednesday to hear what you have to say about that. I that's it i mean. What were your thoughts when you first saw that exchange so the irony of the whole thing is that the actual conversation was fair. That part of the conversation that happened at halftime that part was fair. We know the donovan. Vigil is a dynamic offensive player. We know that he is a star. We know that he is an all star. Caliber guy for him to be a superstar. He has to round out his game and do everything he's got to defend. He's got a rebound. These got make plays for others. What wasn't fair is shaquille. O'neal saying hey. I don't think that you have what it takes to get to the next level as a player. And i just wanted you to hear that. What's your reaction. And i felt bad for about donovan. Because he was really dominant in that went over to pelicans he didn't deserve to be blindsided like up on live television and frankly he handled it as about as well as you handle something like that. My rookie year norms gonna get better mood. I do wonder cuba. The look on his face. Kind of indicated that he wasn't happy you know about the question but at the same time he's always been a person that knows how to express himself. I think he's a guy that's kinda. Learn how to lockout the proverbial outside noise and kind of focus on what he has to do and i think a desk one of the reasons why he's improved so much as a player.

"So does it have a guarantee fee or anything? No. The Via doesn't have any feet and left. Um, you have to pay the funding feet, which is something we'll go over Monday as well. Um, and that you can have three options on how to pay that. You can pay it up front as a closing costs. You can finance it into the loan or the seller can pay that, Um, towards uh, any anything so Most people thought finances so they don't come out of pocket with it because the amount that it Increases. Your payment is negligible. And then that what you would have to come out of pocket with upfront. Generally we see people funding that Financing. Is there any case that can be waived? Yes. So if you are, um 100% disabled then, uh, you will not be, um, entitled to pay a funding feet. And, um There are some other situations where it would be waived. When where we find that out is when we pull your certificate of eligibility that tells us, um, if you're exempt from paying that funding feet, um, and the reason that you're exempt from paying that Okay, good. Be some good questions and answers on Monday. I can assure you I hope that we get a good turnout protect Lee being President's Day. Hopefully, a lot of people will be home. "Yeah. Patties on the way. Let's go to Patty. Hello, Patty. Having which, you guys they're forgetting about the third option. What's the third option? I have never a handheld thing. So I just like the fate of my friends straight in my back. But you know what? I guess when I using that I am facing forward, Okay? We'll wait for word, meaning? What toward the water toward nozzle? The water. The water is like I'm holding in my hand, but I guess I am facing forward. Yeah, See, now you know there is a direction that you prefer. I don't feel like I don't know I'll have to pay more attention. I don't feel like I feel like I'm ready. I'm doing a carousel. You're just you're just turning going on. What? I'm watching meat on the spit. Yeah, because I gotta you know, jiggle some stuff over here, turning around jiggle some stuff over here. Scrubber, brother Dub dub. I mean, you got to write because you want to get it under the water to get a clean unless you do have a handheld Then you can just kind of manipulate it wherever you want. Can I just tell you something so we've established? I hate being wet. I love being in the shower and I love being clean. But I don't like that period of time between the shower in your body being fully dry. I just don't like the feeling because it makes you cold. Probably part of it. Cool down. Yeah. So tonight have attendants. The water gets what I have a tendency to take incredibly long showers like It's bad for your skin. You know what, Bradley? I runs the oil off. I'm sure that that's true. I but I don't want I'm trying to prolong the shower. So I don't have that. What do you know? What helps with that I've I've learned Is that like when it gets super cold, If that indeed is, If the temperatures the issue is just keeping the door closed, which you probably do. Is you have to save so many humans in my house that don't need to be privy to my bathroom situations. But my door's always open what I was going to say Woz. What it was going to say was That I think I actually spend Probably 10% of the shower actually doing the cleaning piece and then you're just wasting water, And then I just waste water for the rest of it. And just sit there and contemplate my life choices while I allow the warm water tow wash all over me. I try to get out as quickly as humanly possible. My partner he does. God knows what in the shower. He's like, you know, bacon cookies. I mean, it is forever because he's got all these processes that he does. You won't be surprised to learn. His hair process takes like 10 minutes. I literally could be like, Oh, my God. You need to get in the shower and get ready. I'm like it takes me five minutes to rub a rag over it and get out. So here's the other thing. He strikes me as a person and I love your partner. You know this He and I have a lot in comment. I feel like he actually follows the directions on the shampoo bottle, of course, say lather, rinse repeat so, like his current conditioning program requires him to wait. 10 minutes or something. He waits 10 minutes on a timer. Yep, he follows directions. To the letter. I love him. Yeah, Ben, But I know I'm I do not dilly dally. Same on the toilet. You'll get hemorrhoids. It's not good. Just get in. Get out. Let it go! Move on. When we come back, we're going to check with our friend Paul Maguire. Grimes from postscript to the movies. If I know what we should be watching this weekend on the Colleen and Bradley Show on my talk one of 71 nothing but good times getting up with Jason and Alexis. Buns.

"The way, it works at the front desk and I walked by the other day, and there was poor Donna. Answering the phone. I heard only one part of the phone call, which is her part. She's like you have three options. You can write to the manager. Leave a message. Or if you'd like, I could take a message for you now. I understand. You have three options that I can give you. Yeah, I'm like God. Are you having fun? I'm like, and Tom had no time. She become bitter and angry. She just That's right. Hey, how are you doing? I'm like, Wow. Hi, Donna. Every business if you are lucky enough, you have a donna Ah, Donna is the person who is the is the person that is first to wish you whatever the holiday is first to notice the decorations and to do legitimately sincerely. Care about you, your business and your customers. If you don't have a donna working whatever it is that you're doing, you need to find her. Donna and Tom on my right. Absolutely. She's kind of like the opposite of a Karen. Uh, on at the front desk. We would. We would hate to lose you, but we got news today that or Jacob was telling us that you applied for a job and have you heard back from them. I know they started looking back in the summer. I think right, didn't they? And it's not exactly that applied for the job this year, and by the way, I'm blushing a lot from what you just said. And I feel bad for all the Karens out there anyway. Not to me anyway. Yeah, but I had in the past, actually, in three different times. I was telling Jacob earlier. It's a little bit depressing to talk about this because I didn't get any callbacks on it because I think I would have been so good for it and it was for the Oscar Mayer Wiener Mobile. And they have people and I guess they have several of them that travel around the country and they just go to different events and talk to people and I guess talk about the greatness of hot dogs and what they'll add to your life, which I could totally do. I'm totally behind that. And so I had applied for on three different occasions. I was trying to member before and I think it was in 2011 in 2016 and 28 team. I did it. And each of those times because this is one of the few jobs that you can apply for where you can actually be a little bit individual because they give you something that you can mail something to most from nowadays you have to apply online. It's the most depressing experiencing entire world because you get rejected. Ah, lot and you're rejected without any notice. They just don't say anything to you. You're in a black void. Anyway, them with this one. I did, so you have to do kind of unique. I figured you had to do a unique application and the later found out that Yeah, That's exactly we're supposed to do. But I wasn't unique enough, obviously. And so, in my first application, I had gotten a hot dog bag. And I had starched it. So it was kind of crisp and I use that is my envelope to send my application in. And then it wasn't a typical application. I took O s C a r m a Y e. R And I used each of the first letters to describe different things about me that made me stand out from everyone else. And so I applied for that one didn't get it didn't get any notes back on that one. And then the next time apply they just a quick question. So you're saying uses that he didn't cut him out of like block letters and like taste paper. OK, fine. It wasn't kidnapping anyone or holding anyone hostage. No, it was just a regular rest made. But I do graphic design. I've done graphic design for Way too many years. But yes, so I did. I just did it with, you know, doing the letters bigger and using the correct software for it. Not something like word or excel, which I know. I just said snidely, but a kind of minutes nightly. You should use professional software for the situation. Um And then the second one I took Um, mayonnaise, not mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup and relish bottles. Although I don't think you should ever put ketchup on a hot dog. I think that's a sin. But I did each of those, and I took the labels off. And then I did my best may actually on the bottles, and then I sent those in and it was kind of hard because you've got a limited space. And you're trying to show how many things that you could Diogo s o a spectacular is all these options. You What would you have a theory for? Why you? You didn't Girl you could have real. I'm sorry about this. You know, it's a good point. It's a good point. So after my third try, which was very creative to, um, I know it sounds like I'm breaking, isn't it? But that's too bad because it really was creative. Anyway on my after my third one. I was talking with a girlfriend of mine, and she pointed out, she said, You know, the problem is you're too old and she's right. I am too old for it. They're looking for cute, perky little 20 year olds that will look good in a bikini. I mean, not. They're going to be choir to wear a bikini, but they would have to look good to be king. If called upon, and that's not me. And even when I had a good body, I wouldn't have looked good in a bikini because I would've been too uncomfortable to be S O. That was that's kind of the theory. Why? I don't think I got because I thought I did some pretty creative things that would have stood out from everybody else. And maybe it was that it looked like that too much experience. Who knows? So John the ideal they're called Hot Dogger. So Donna was trying to become a hot dogger. The ideal hot Dogger is quote an outgoing, creative, friendly, exuberant college graduate who has an appetite for adventure. If I was writing a letter recommendation for Donna, I would just lift that. What she is every one of those categories. It's an outrage. I say it outrage! Tom. Write that letter for me. I'm fine with that. The other thing is onto you. I looked. I looked online that people have a girl young throughout college kids I know. I don't know. And I know I had a time and see like, hey, that's that's who says Who has the job. Can I tell you when I looked at it? I had a time I looked and I saw people who had energy and who have enthusiasm and I have energy and I have enthusiasm and I'm willing to bet. I have more energy and enthusiasm than a lot of 20 and 30 year olds. And so he just organization. Most of them are please And later you know, I love hot dogs, too. But everybody who knows anything about food tells me they are terrible for you. So Wow, How can you spin that? That bad PR into positive PR, Donna Well, my theory with it was that you can't for your psyche for your soul. You can't always eat healthy things. So every now and then you do have to go out and just do it is, you know, it's not like it's going to be part of your regular diet. There you go, just something that you're going to do for for fun. It's like it's like, well, Tom, you'll get this. It's like going to movies. Sometimes you.

"And we're back talking about poor parents and prophecy we talked about the turtle doves and the two pigeons. And you. you use a statement between a rock and a hard place. And i was thinking of the three options and i was thinking about between a ram and two courts of flour but to the best offering and the bottom of the barrel the middle of the road because of flowers like the concession between a ram into courts of law. That's good good. I'll be right there okay. So we see their poor parents but although they're poor and wealth enriching faith And they they're doing the right thing so they come to the temple. We're gonna pick up the story verse. Twenty-five meet a name semi there was a man in jerusalem whose name was simeon. This man was righteous and devout looking forward to israel's constellation and the holy spirit was on them it had been revealed to him by the holy spirit that he would not see death before he saw the lord's messiah guided by the spirit. He entered the temple when the parents brought in the child jesus to perform for him. What was customary under the law. Simeon took him up in his arms praised. God and said now master okay. Let's stop right here. Okay so simeon. I want you to notice in this passage. How many time. When you're doing bible study you want to notice the repetition of words So whenever you see a word repeated you starting to say okay. This is something here. What word have we seen repeated in verse. Twenty five in verse. Twenty six and verse twenty seven i. I'm looking at the spirit. holy spirit. is that interesting. It just shows the holy spirit was on him he was led the holy spirit he was guided by the spirit yes. He was spoken to by the spirit. Wow okay so it shows that this wrightson devout man actually was walking with the lord and guy was speaking him. So we have simeon. Who's waiting for the one. That's more fascinating to me and again when simeon speaks when time to do it. He is constantly quoting subscription. What he's doing. The one i think is fascinating to me. Is anna getting married for seven years. Yeah and widowed for how many years widowed four eighty eighty four years. Yes yes eighty four years. Yes and it says. She was continually in the temple. Praising the lord anna was waiting for the redemption of israel and what. She's going to show us as she's going to connect something she's going to connect the redemption of israel to the kingdom of god in the person of christ who okay the king the king of israel to person guy. No would i say. I can't say it again. Because i what she connects at all force. Okay so here's what i want you do. Let's just read this last part. There's thirty eight. Okay and i want you to see something. There was also a prophetess anna. A daughter of faneuil. That's an interesting name of the tribe of asher. She was well along in years having lived with her husband. Seven years after her marriage and was a was a widow for eighty four years. She did not leave the temple serving god night and day with fasting and prayers. At that very moment she came up and began to thank god and to speak about him to all who were looking forward to the redemption of jerusalem. Oh that's so good. Okay here's where we going to say about her. We were gonna talk about how she made the connection between the nation of israel..
