Barack Obama's Position on a Gas Tax Holiday in 2008
"How come we didn't have all these drilling issues and guests issues and all the rest of it When Trump was president which is why Biden and his team of morons have gotten together and they keep blaming Putin So now Biden has come up with a brilliant idea Let us suspend the federal gas tax for 90 days 90 days And by the way Russia is selling more oil and gas than ever before making a fortune So even that's not working So let's do it this way In their own words Obama at a campaign rally in April 2008 On a gas tax holiday April 2008 cut one go I know that we're having a debate right now about the gas tax holiday I know how brutal this is on folks right now There I know they need relief which is why I've offered a middle class tax cut for every American a thousand dollars for working families that they can deal not only with rising gas prices but rising healthcare costs and rising grocery costs but for us to suggest that 30 cents a day for three months Israel relief that that's a real energy policy Means that we are not tackling the problem that has to be tackled We are offering gimmicks when we're offering the same thing that John McCain's offering on the cheap That means we're not presenting a truthful response to the challenges that we face in America we can do better than that this time Yeah

Biden to propose three-month federal gas tax holiday to ease soaring prices at the pump
"President Biden today will call on Congress to give drivers a break by instituting a gas tax holiday The president will urge lawmakers to suspend federal gas and diesel taxes for three months and call on states to suspend their taxes or provide similar relief If the federal savings were fully passed along people would save roughly 3.6% at the pump with prices averaging about $5 a gallon The president's earlier efforts have done little to ease high gas prices which are a fundamental threat to both his policy and political aims Many economists and lawmakers from both parties though are skeptical about gas tax suspensions In 2008 Biden's White House running made called the idea a gimmick One Barack Obama said simply let politicians say they did something Sagar
Stephen Moore and Chris Stigall on the 'R' Word: Recession
"I am pleased to be joined by our friend Steve Moore. He is a freedom works economic official. He is a former Trump White House economics official. I lean on him in Philadelphia every single week as our own economic official. Steve-O, I wish every time we talk, it seems to be degrees worse. I would love to have better news for folks today. The Dow closes 8 75 down. I've got this story. I don't even know what it means. You're smarter than me, a U.S. two year treasury yields rose above ten year borrowing costs. The so called curve inversion that Harold's economic recession, I'm hearing a lot about the R word now, Steve-O. What do you say about it? Well, I mean, unfortunately, I think we're really headed that way. And I wish I had good news for you, Chris. But I really, I really don't. I mean, you know, you've seen a 900 point reduction in the Dow Jones today. We're now at about 11 trillion 11 $1 trillion of wealth losses over the last three months under Biden. It's all a result of his war on American energy, his massive government spending plans in his war on American business, frankly. It's a progressive socialist agenda that is killing our economy. If anything good has come out of this and it's hard to see anything good come out of this. It's hopefully Americans are awakened. I won't use the word woke or awakened to the negative effects of when you let the government and the politicians make the decisions for the economy.

John Zmirak: The Left Is Acting Like a Cage Full of Monkeys
"Hey there folks, welcome back. I'm talking to John smirke and the construction crew that is making this an impossible interview to conduct. John, I want to say what you said just before we went to the break. This is really important. Figure out who is speaking and support those people. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Johns mirac, Eric metaxas. You know, anybody that is talking about these things, what's that? Naomi will Steve Bannon, doctor Peter McCullough. Let's not forget yesterday's lies. Yesterday's crisis, which is the COVID lockdown. The left is tree is acting like a case full of monkeys throwing poop at the wall. And the poop of the COVID lockdown, they kept that up as long as they could. Kept us locked in our homes, our churches closed, our businesses closed. They tried to force the dead baby vaccine on our kids, they're still trying to force it on our infants, but because they stop hitting us over the head with a lead pipe. And instead, start to burn our leg with a soldering iron. We're supposed to forget about the lead pipe and the head. Right. The left is engaged in a multi front constant effort to take away our freedoms and subject us to an authoritarian state. Look at Canada. Look at Canada. Three months ago or 6 months ago, they were using mounted police to crush nonviolent demonstrators. And now they're going to seize all private firearms in the country. This is exactly how Lenin acted when he took over Russia. How Hitler acted when he soaked over Germany. Justin Trudeau is a burgeoning fascist dictator.

Former Police Officer Suggests Armed SROs in Schools
"Give us our help me give Tom a warm welcome to the ocelot show. How are you doing, Tom? How you doing? I'm doing well. I'm very interested to hear your take on all of this stuff, man. You're a law enforcement experience. I had 7 years on the police department and you've had several decades on the police department. What's your take on this shooting? What do you think this means for Democrats and the left and what tactical things do you believe could have been done differently based on the information that you have? Well, I did a Fox show today and I got 20 irritated because right away they're asking me about New York Times and their story about the officers moved fast enough. They were outside too long. I'm sick and tired of people that want a second gas police officers when they're in middle of a tragedy like this. Look, how many how many people in The New York Times have been pushed out? But going through the hip and running too fire, running the gunfire, and I run away from that run towards it. So here's what I think. First of all, we talk about schools. I've said this for the last three months. The schools need to be hard. Look, we got armed officers protecting our banks, protecting our money. We got armed officers protecting politicians. We had armed officers that shopping malls and movie theaters. I don't think that we got the greatest trench on earth. You got a lot of retired police officers. They're mandatory. Many departments like the feds were mandatory 57. I see a lot of retired friendly agents. I would love to keep doing something, but the rules prevent it. We allow the target military to serve their community still. So I think there's enough retired police retired military that would be glad to act as an school resource officer. And that does a lot of things. Number one, you know, a lot of high schools have much I think it's time for elementary schools have and I think the parents would feel safer being their kids off to school. I think the kids would be safe. And I also think it will help rebuild the relationships between the community and the police departments at the left, the progressives have destroyed in the last several years. I call them for defunding the police because what happened Ferguson, because you got one to two bad cops, they want to call the whole institution
US economy shrank by 1.5% in Q1 but consumers kept spending
"The government's latest estimate of the gross domestic product for the first quarter is a downgrade I'm Ben Thomas with the closer look Consumers and businesses kept spending at a solid pace during the first three months of the year Nevertheless the economy shrank The commerce department estimates it contracted at a 1.5% annual pace from January through March a slight downward revision from its initial estimate It's the first drop in the GDP since the second quarter of 2020 the depths of the COVID-19 recession but it followed a robust 6.9% expansion of the economy in the final three months of last year The contraction was a result in part of a wider trade gap and slower restocking of goods and stores and warehouses after a holiday buildup Analysts say the economy has likely resumed growing in the current quarter Ben Thomas Washington
Russia takes steps to bolster army, tighten grip on Ukraine
"Russia's taking steps to strengthen the army and is tightening its grip on Ukraine Lawmakers in Moscow have passed a bill to bolster Russia's army which is fighting an intense battle for Ukraine's east three months into the war Russian rockets are pounding towns in the industrial Donbass region Ukraine's foreign minister said on Wednesday the situation there is extremely bad Meanwhile president Vladimir Putin is trying to strengthen his control of southern Ukraine by giving residence of two regions a fast path to Russian citizenship I'm Charles De
Saving the children: War closes in on eastern Ukrainian town
"A regional governor in eastern Ukraine says at least 6 civilians have been killed by the latest Russian shelling in a town at the epicenter of fighting three months into the war The Luhansk region's governor says two that 8 people were injured over the last 24 hours and accuses the Russian troops of deliberately targeting shelters where civilians are hiding the town is located in Ukraine's eastern industrial heartland of the Donbass where Russian forces have been pressing their offensive despite stiff Ukrainian resistance Ukraine's president volodymyr zelensky said late Tuesday that the country's forces in the region are facing difficulties
Ilan Berman Assesses the Western Response to Ukraine
"Ilhan, we've talked about the danger of a landlocked Ukraine. Let's talk about our actions to date. I've said $40 billion worth of aid doesn't make a lot of sense in terms of cash to Kyiv, especially when it has line items for $7 billion for the State Department and undisclosed amount of money for the CIA. That doesn't look like a to Kyiv, having spoken to cramming knowledge with people who've worked in the Ukraine, what they need is what is zelensky's calling for, which is weapons, which is weaponry, ammunition, wheeled vehicles to move their troops and also training of their reserves in safe locales like the Baltics and Poland. Will you give us your assessment of the west on blocks response to this war in the last three months? Right. Well, I mean, there's a lot there to unpack. But listen, I think generally I'm positive on the western response. I do have some of the same misgivings as you, which is because our politics I may say charitably have become intolerably stupid. Not ours. America's not ours, America's politics. D.C.'s. There is this false equation that if you somehow question the line items in the $40 billion that you are not your put inside. Putin side or you're somehow not supportive enough of Ukraine. But the more nuanced argument is, I firmly believe sunlight is the best disinfectant. I want to see what's sort of what is allocated, whether it's actually going to be useful to Ukraine. And accountability. Absolutely. But can I just flip on that? That's stupid politics. There's also the flip side of that, that if you're pro as we are supporting what I see is Ukraine 1776. Suddenly you're an interventionist neocon. That's

"In it So as far as the whole goes you're really putting your your best foot forward this. It's not a i would say. It's not a traditional hulk story but it is truly one of the best oak stories. How much do you know about this story already. Mike have already youtube or anything. I mean i know a big watch. The animated feature film. No i i have watched like i have watched a youtube videos on it. But they were just kinda synopsis. Isn't kinda just like an idea of it but Ask you what what you thought it was about but you already know so. That's not going to be as funny when we get to say ha. Mike did not. You're talking about we. Don't get the high. I mean i'd like to think of it when i when i did initially think of it. I did like the things. Just like a planet of everything. Is hulk related. Like a whole plant. Little woke swirls. It's interesting that you say that because like not even two days ago While i was on vacation my oldest nephew called me because he was talking to my youngest nephew and my youngest nephew had told him that. This story was all about Holck realizing that he wasn't a like a government experiment gone wrong that he was actually an alien and all the things that made him hoc were actually just traits of his alien species and planet about him going home. In media's people yara which you know. It's not like a terrible misinterpretation can kind of see. Our child's brain would arrive at that place without fully understanding what store. I know that all he did was read wikipedia. Page but yeah. I don't know. I just thought it was interesting that that that premise came up from both you and my nephew who is yeah. I think what tom trying to say is that you have the brain of a child. I would. it's a sense of wonderment. I ain't gonna feel bad for but yeah so. I'm looking forward to reading this. A lot of people tell me it's a good book and jerry from you again. Tom just re re candidates that Can't wait till next week or whenever we're gonna talk about this. Yeah i think of so many of the comics that you know our second time for me. That i've read a more. You know least weren't the first time that i've read them. I might be most excited to reread this one I think men and might have been over ten years ago. That i read it the first time. I'm glad that we were recording this episode. "Ie the was not my cup of tea again very similar. I think what you tear feeling. I i would be hesitant to say. Just skip over it. Because i do think that there is a demographic that would benefit from it And it does show a bit more of the diversity that is possible in comex for me. Personally i just didn't like the fact that i wished the story was more developed. I wish i connected more with the characters. And i just think that i like the idea of it but i think that it could be polished up and if they were to just like make it just puts a little bit more effort into it. I think it could have been a very good book. So as it stands right now me personally i wouldn't it. This wouldn't be my first choice. Like i wouldn't discourage it necessarily but i would probably guide them towards other books. I that makes me feel glad that that my mind isn't gonna feel totally controversial And i'm going to say no and here's why I appreciate this book is trying to do. But you know it's it's aspirational. The execution here just isn't done well in. I think that if we if we give this book to someone going to have the historical context within the medium to understand that this is a step in the right direction that i think if consumed in a vacuum all on its own. This book is going to seem like a little disrespectful and kind of pandering and might you know that person might take a few steps away from it I don't you know like mike. I don't totally want to discourage it. But i think this is a volume that you work up to. I think you start. You know with harbinger or with unity or the valiant and then work your way over to faith once you've got a bit more of the context there to go with.

"Stories are any back stories Or even expanded on like the villains and enact kind of plot but all of that kinda suffered for or be scenes. That really did nothing for me or the book in my opinion. Yep how did you guys feel about the the art man. We mentioned like kind of the themes in the representation. In this comic being characterized and on the art side. We get to see that literally characterized faith in you know so many panels like i. I have kind of a beef. That she rarely looks the same from panel. Anal- yes but on top of that. You know every every panel with her just looks like another like carnival caricature drawing of a purposely unflattering for trail of a person Yeah that's funny. Because anna brought that up to she noticed that that some of the panels that focused on where the facial expressions. Or just something. We're so completely exaggerated in just over the top that and kind of a mean-spirited way. Right exactly they went out of their way to like. I want to believe that they were doing that just to show that like they're willing to capture just the they're they're showing you like. Oh she's just in everyday person but yeah it feels like because because of the type of person and chose to represent then when they also tried to couple the everyday girl aspect in show her in these most unflattering everyday person positions that nobody really wants to be captured in. Yeah Report another so. I really liked the conversely the art style. When she's in her head she was actually really consistently drawn by by that other artists I almost wish we would have had more of them. Even though i really didn't. I was not exactly a fan of the kind of ham fisted internal dialog that she was having at the time. The are in those segments actually would have worked really well for kind of She the costumes still terrible. She looked kind of cool. And she a very at least looked consistent. And it was never really in an unflattering angle I know a part that was because they were supposed to be like her idealized version of herself. But it worked really well in those panels and on those sections. Yeah i'm with you As far as the the main book art. I mean it's good enough. It's good it's it's not like it's well-structured It's very kind of typical How style art. But yeah i i would have to say. I agree that faith. In addition to look unflattering. Her face. Kind of the characteristics of her face are drawn in almost unrecognizable at times from one to the other. She doesn't she does not always look like the same person. And that's that's really a shortcoming. It's hard to endear yourself to a character if you if that characters unrecognizable at times you really have to as an artist even if you are a little inconsistent other places you've got to do your character studies enough to at least make sure that you can consistently draw the star of your book. I think aside from you know the way faith is drawn. I think the most disappointing part about the art is just like how middle of the road it is. With the exception of those you know kind of internal monologue parts. Where the art is you know a little bit. More free wheeling and stylized at the are in the rest of the book is just so middle of the road. And so so boring. That i i don't think every book necessarily needs to be you know held boy or ben temple smith or something super stylized than like that..

"Just like any other superhero in. These just happened to be fast as ever personality is token is like is the term token still acceptable or is that not allowed to be said anymore. I didn't think that that word is transgressive but I think the sentiment applies here for sure ear without a doubt. Faith is like a token is demographic of just like you said they're not like building an interesting character here What they're doing is saying. Look at this untouched. Demographic that we're trying to capitalize on and look at all the ways we are like highlighting this specific demographic and. I don't know if he'll so scuzzy. Because it is such a such an underserved demographic and there are plenty of people out there who would appreciate like this kind of representation a and the execution has just done so poorly and maybe i think the most disrespectful part of it is you know as as the comic wants down like faiths internal analog is more or less you know here i am. I'm a chubby woman but You know in spite of that. I can still be an awesome superhero and i can still may be date like this slim. Attractive young man and can still have like really great friends and the message should be you know in spite of that you can have all those things but you know because of the the complete contents of your character you can have all of those things That being you know a more heavy set woman isn't the totality of faith's character. Any anybody's character but that is the part of her character that the creators of this comic seem so determined to like throw at you as the most important part Good otherwise nobody wants any one singular thing to define them as a whole So to have that be like this. Why you should care about this. Character is is Yeah it's unfortunate. So i think we've. We've established pretty reasonably that the main theme that the comic is trying to tackle this kind of a failure..

"What what a dream? So he's so dreamy. It has it has it. Triple Dc does has the knuckle puck. Oh, man. The bash bash brothers. Keenan thompson. Jussie smollet. The biggest name TV today. Pacey? Actual name is Joshua Jackson. I haven't said at one pacey jussie smollet. Canaan? Kevin cost heaven Costner this movie has it all. All right. Oh, it's mighty dog. We did the dumbest sports moving bracket. Here's the thing. If we wanted to prep for that. You gotta like read all the do all the movies. I'm sure we could have done it better. I think baked Alaska should've one if I'm on doing other one. All right. Shall we say right now what we're gonna do next week's next week bracket is. That's right. This is a real one. You could give. Pretty go ahead next week sprocket. Sorry, really. Table tipping cable over next week's bracket. Is bagged snacks week. We're going to do bracket of bagged snacks. Actually, you're shoving the table. What's happening just excited? I know, but you've gotta calm down bags fat snacks. So if you have a bag snack suggestions that you would like to see in the bracket. Can't promise. It Steve's not gonna go rogue, but tweet them at Katie Nolan more at hey, hey, Jay Wolfe with two. Because then he it's his job to compile them as true. So tweet at us, and we will may put them in. We'll bag snack. And we decided that that meant any snack that was in a bag. Right. But that was a great recap. Ashley. But we've decided because I was like, well, you know, sometimes you get those like peanut butter crackers sandwiches. Those are technically in like sealed in a bag and actually had a great point that I was trying to say which was a bagged snack is an indeterminate number of items. So it's like if you can tell that they're six that you're getting it's not a bag snack. It's like you got a bag of Cheetos a bag of Lay's chips bag of sour cream and onion chips. You know what I mean? Yeah. So like Pringles don't count this on a bag. No, that's famously famously and can that you can also drink wine out of if you're just not in the parking lot of a WalMart. We need to get to the next because I'm very excited about this the voice mail. You know, the advocate. Okay. Before we get to our last voicemail this podcast. Also brought to you by by me undies. I'm really nervous. If you're this excited. It's not a surprise..

"So they have to do all the girl stuff. They have to wear skirts. They have to do the splits to make a catch. They have to go through like beauty and decorum school. And I liked that. There were some of them that were like okay with that. Yeah. There were others like that's not us because that's that's the real way that it happens. Exactly. There are some women that love to wear makeup in high heels and dresses, there are some women that don't women aren't saying don't make us wear this stuff or like we never wanna wear. It's just like don't expect everyone to like the same stuff. We all like baseball. We should be able to just do the baseball part. Right. Not have to do the other stuff that other stuff. But the is such a good move is that is a really good movie. I hate it. I hate doing this. I don't know. Jay, what do you think? I don't really care. I mean, I do J totally do just mean like, why don't you tell us what you think? In directed by penny. Marshall who is she was she rest in the most piece was such an amazing filmmaker. So I think I would go with that. Case performing woke nece for us bad. It's international day. The woman, I don't know if you knew that so skews, you you don't know if I knew that excuse you. Of course, you knew he chose to be condescending woman on international women while while Ashley singing. Really love it sounded like. Had me it sounded like a church, and what if we didn't since we what I think, I know all the words, I'm really proud of you. Thanks. You were one of them. Oh, yeah. That's what I was following dress your baby up as a as drunk, Tom Hanks, Jim Jimmy, Kevin Costner. Kevin. Captain, you also when you were just about to say that you dress your child you put your finger down like the little one I dressed small one like dumbing down there. Okay. I guess we'll go league of their own. Doc. You're right. I think it's I agree. I feel like if I wasn't thinking about it though. I would have just picked sandlot because I really love that movie. If you had to recommend a movie to a friend between a league of their own sandlot, which when which BIC. I feel like a league of their own holds up better. I haven't rewatch it in a while. Is there anything rabble Matic in it? Probably not because women, right? So yeah. You know, what what's say this? It would have sandlot would've moved on. But Benny the jet that benefit for everybody. But maybe maybe he should've. Going great. I also called her hand end of the jet. Middle Middle. name Name is is amber. amber. It's going to be legally on all right and White House for our market. I don't I don't the next ones will be better. We we already picked the topics. It's gonna be great. Okay. So now we have to decide between Mighty Ducks and league their own. We have to decide between. No. He ducks in the league of their own. Oh, my wow. Just tired. I tired. Listen. Mighty Ducks is a fantastic movie. Yeah. That spun several franchises Tim rate was one French. And but like also a team packed the time. Yeah. That now has forgotten where they came from and go by ducks. Yes, doc themselves. Yeah. You heard it here. I yeah. What's happening? I'm just thinking your say motza great film. I mean, it might have decks is incredible. I really I mean, Casey. I mean what a dream boat..

"Oh, but in the pre on this season on it doesn't look like he's going to stay that way forever. But he's got like a big old beard and really really long hair. So that I'm I've been Katie Nolan, and that has been you're very Cavalieri update. Dude, it great. I'm so excited that was that was incredible have found a cool stick okay here. We are in the final four. Wow. I know. So we've got rocky here. The two matchups we've rocky versus the Mighty Ducks in a league of their own versus sandlot for bracket. It came down to pretty good. Pretty good end. I think it's a great bracket. It's just because you're husband listened to the podcast. Okay. So let's start with rocky versus the Mighty Ducks. Again. I'm no, it's not the it's not filling this out as like. S another thing we talk about all the time. We do these brackets is this like my favorites. Or is this like for the world? Like, oh, you can't. I might love Mighty Ducks. But you can't have them beat rocky. Here's the thing for the world. If you have somebody asked you for movie recommendation, would you recommend rocky the mighty the minded, oh, well, then for the world. That's the better pick. It's just so good. There's so much so much depth. Yeah. Yeah. There's a flame is the first one. Yeah. Okay. Ms wax worth quack quack, quack quack quack. Did it end? They scream like that. Yes. Kelly. There's drama. There's there's a redemption story for coach Bombay the media in general. Yeah. Oh in the old guy was the old guy. I liked him. Was it lar- homes hawn's manage like a dead that guys? How did she get that? Right. Get that. Right. K Dieter died kinda recently. Oh believe that's played haunts on these. So for him. I think we do Mighty Ducks. I'm sorry. I just picked the minded over rocky. I that doesn't feel right, but Mighty Ducks should have won best picture. I don't think that's actually not true. It's patently false. On the other side of the bracket a league of their own versus San lot. I wish there was more female representation in San law. Related to a lot of the characters. But it wasn't. I didn't see me. The only me was Wendy pepper corn. And she was not me. No. She wasn't me at all. She was way too dreamy. Yes. So dreamy. The kissing was weird as a little problematic. I know it's kids. But yeah. Giving him out to mouth. We haven't really talked about a league of their own what we liked about it yet. Well, first of all based on a true story. Did we say that? A fascinating story that I don't think a lot of people knew. Tom Hanks, Madonna. Oh, Rosie O'Donnell Gina Davis. Gina davis. Kevin Costner named one name. I I know Kevin cost. Famously. The way. May we already said it was a movie that was about sports that had a lot of the converse? There were scenes that didn't have men. Yeah. It was fascinating. Also, it was just a good movie. Like, I feel like nowadays we almost ruined a league of their own by marketing it the wrong way. Like, it was just a great movie. It was like rate. Interesting dynamic of these women and the sisters the sister kit kit, you're doing great, and I got this. I thought the relationships in it were incredibly interesting. Yeah. The character arc of Tom Hanks in his relationship with Gina Davis. The relationship of the sisters the relationship of kit, and Rosie O'Donnell and then the one who's really good. Bertha. Is her name Bertha? No, I think it's. No good. The one Marla Marla is it. Yes. Marla? I got there. Eventually, okay. She like my favorite is just looking at her. But not saying the hell trying to read on my getting in. And I just looked fine. Offering me much. They'd be my new thing on top of that. What I thought kind of elevates his movie in a way beyond regular sports movies is that they just wanna play baseball. But they have to do it in a way that makes it palatable to fan..

"But like what a great film, and I would I'm thinking also mostly about two because Mighty Ducks too. Is the bet it's two one three is is the order for me. Okay. But just you know, it's to the international one day. And then it's college three is college. Okay. Yeah juniors. Yeah. I don't even remember a lot about three which one's the one. Where the the catchily the county you because I know I just see it in your. She's the second one I said, which what is the one with? And you knew exactly what I was box of Mighty Ducks. Chilly, the cat Gaffney. Right. Not wrong. So, but the first ones one where they go through the mall of America credible. Amazing. So people forget who was in Mighty Ducks. Kevin costner. That's right. Jesse small it, really? But we're going back. Crazy that I remember that the other day at trivia that is incredibly trivial. It was awesome. So anyway. Mighty mighty next moves on. Sorry. Dodgeball, great film. But again, more of a comedy in. If we're not gonna let Gilmore get through than dodge balls not getting through. I am looking at this bracket and hating it. So we're gonna keep going. Next up. We have cool runnings up against league their own. I just made exactly my failing there. Yeah. And not just because we're ladies. But it's just that like that that was a week corner up there. I really should have been remember the titans be cool runnings. I love cool rinse would have been more different j challenge. But, but that, you know, this brackets are it's it's about the match up at the time. You know, the worst we're doing a disservice. We are not we are servicing appropriately. Yikes. A league of their own. A lotto. We haven't we haven't. I haven't said anything. Nice ability their own. Yep. Okay. Okay. Now, I've got the San lot up against a little giants. Talk about formative these two films for me. Yeah. Equally for the scene were in Santa lot. I saw it in the theaters. That's how old I am this scene in sandlot where they go on the on the ride, and they all puke. I had to leave the theater 'cause I thought I'm one of those people like see puke puke. So I I was like little Katie had eaten a lot of candy and popcorn. And was like, I think I'm gonna be sick. And so I left, and I then I came back. So sandlot was nineteen Ninety-three. You were really little Katie. I was six. Yeah. I was too. I mean, I was only she was was just born. Boy, I would just been I went as an infant my mom birth me at a movie. Right. Like, I feel like sin. Lot has so many good side stories like number born, obviously. And like you say pepper corn is Peifer co-ord-. Yeah. Yeah. I said pepper corn. I was wrong. That's fine. I didn't I wouldn't have attacked. If it was you. Pepper porn. It was me a delicious dressing, but not. What did little giants have little side? Things will make us was in little giants for might meets world. Okay. That's not what. Yeah. It did. I think it was more. Like little giants is more of a sports a traditional sports movie in terms of like the arc like sandlot. Did they I I kind of forget it was the whole point was like getting the ball back. There was never a big game. There was a big game. Wasn't there? I think they played. Well, there is the relationship with his father, right? As a stand of the central. Yeah. And he had the ball the babe was signed. Yeah. And like it was so important in the there's an he hit the home run in. I think whatever that important game was her. And then it was more like a coming of age story for kids read, it was told through the like, we would meet and play baseball on this FIA. But it wasn't about like their season as a team right about like these kids in their lives and it all coming on the field. And I. One of the things. I don't love about saying..

"What who I was like I used to like put lollipops on like, it doesn't matter doesn't in any case. Right. I would I would vote for little giants. I know that we get that. And I think you should to. Oh, well, this what a campaign actually, even for class press. The story line is what so there's there's a here we go. Hold on. And then we'll get actually run down. Let me let me start with. What the I am DVD's misfits form their own opposing team to an elite peewee football team coached by the elite team coaches, brother. So it's kicking and screaming mates bad news bears and came out, of course. But I just want that movie to shout out because it was a under under rated we'll vehicle. Yes. It's a comedy Ashley thing against comedy. Just remember the titans. It was up against cool. Runnings we picked that was a comedy sports movie. Go ahead. Tell us about in forty seconds or lo que Becky O'Shea. Her dad is the guy from Honey, I shrunk the kids marinas. Thank you. And her uncle is a very famous football player, Kevin Costner, Costner better. But yes, Kevin Kevin Costner Kevin Costner's making a football team. Sure. And even though Becky icebox is one of the best players. He doesn't take her because she's a girl. Right. So she's really upset. She gets her. She convinces her dad who knows nothing about football. Rick moranis to start his own football team to compete to be the town's football team. So he is a bunch of scrubs on their team. The whole thing is about how they like come together. Devon Sawa comes in his great quarterback sour. He gets recruited by random whatever Becky goes through this turmoil. She's like do I like him. Do I wouldn't be a girly girl? So he'll like me or should I play football tough. It's yet. At one point during the game, the bad guy on the big team on their essentially like the Cowboys like takes out at Debbie. Okay. And Becky gets pissed down her pompoms. Like, it's great. It's it's a real gym. And then and the end. Yep. There's happiness. Wow. One cohesive football team. Then at the end, there's happiness what will the we live for Jonah pick little giants moves onto the next. I love you so much. I know you don't mean it, but I love you. So SOS happy going. Top twenty nine movies. This is just for. Thank you. You're you're welcome. I really love having Gilmore, but you're right. It's a comedy. It's not really about the Gulf because you kid not play with a hockey stick. It just don't think it working. I mean, you can't disprove that. Because the lease sport the sport that doesn't let anybody do anything fun in. It is like in this leading people do fun stuff. I shit like you for breakfast for breakfast. Hey, what do you say? We'll go down by the bay. We'll make. Okay. Let's take a break here. And we're going to get to the rest of this. Really? You don't have to finish the podcast..

"Cherish local gym for neon slot of corporate health, fitness chain, dodgeball, gave us nobody makes me my own blood, which what a quote and also so facto, I'm your boss. I never use that. But I should I should a lot. What do we feel unlike team why do we do brackets when I hate them so much you just don't like making decisions, and it's an it's a series of decision then I get judged on. I never get to. I never use the it's my podcast card. I use it all the time. But you use it against me in this situation where it's like, well, you make the call to your podcast is this. I don't know. I like them both Steve dump brackets. We said we weren't gonna I dated. Daymond the leads Armstrong cameo in dodgeball, though. My like now with the the hindsight and also rips horn, everything he does he wanna be named rip torn what I want to be named the current version of a verb. And then the the consequences of. Like, I'm gonna spend the rest of the week thinking about like. Eat full. Or? Run tired. Okay. Run tired. We'll keep working on it. Or? Drink drunk their drinks, drink drink drink term. With your whiskey. I am ready. So okay. May I was gonna say dodgeball only. Because if I have to talk more about one of these movies, I could talk about more. That's that's on us. So that's our fall. Well, we're picking the MU the bracket. Oh, Oh, you know you what? know, what I just realized it's not gonna matter. So because it's up to pick. All right. I'll say. Great Megan harder. Okay. To the other side of the bracket. Now, we have the two seed remember the titans versus the fifteenth seed cool runnings lifts trunks. That's that movie. Right. And then immediately were like don't know. Right. Little IMDB's summation here for you for those who don't remember remember the titans in case you forgot. A true story of a newly appointed African American coach and his high school team on their first season as a racially integrated unit, and then what was the other one cool runnings? Why did he put these two against each other? Steve I think it was an exit when a Jamaican sprinter is disqualified from the Olympic Games he enlists the help of dishonored coach to start the first Jamaican bobsled team. We give up such team. So it's they're they're both true stories and they're both great. I do believe remember the titans sticks a little closer to the truth of the story. Then cool runnings they weren't actually Jamaica. They wasn't egg lucky. They were from Jamaica. I I don't I'm going to be honest. I don't know if they're sorry member. The titans Denzel correctional. Yes. And Kevin and chemical. I know the coaches played by Kevin. I. I he runnings as a kid. I I do I did too. I think remember the titans was like a very poignant movie I felt like moved. And like I learned and then also funds sports stuff yet it. So I personally would vote for remember the tight. You would. Yes. I don't remember them though. You don't forget what give me a pivotal plot moment that happened in the film. The. One of the white guys in one of the black guys kind of bonded, and they were the source of trying to into like get the rest of the team. They were the left side strong side guys you and then one gets in a car accident and gets paralysed sound can't play at sign like his girlfriend at the end. This is Ashley summarizes movies is a bit Steve loves because I'm so bad very bad at it. Like who was very very racist came in like shook the black guys hand, and it was like this big moment. The the the white coach who got, sir. Kevin Costner kept Custer who got replaced by Denzel has the little blonde..

"Is that do you agree? That's your call alternately these. But I would have gone Jerry Maguire why I just feel like, Jerry. Maguire is the better is the better film. Have you seen Bill Durham? Yeah. I love to and both are great. But just I don't know if somebody named boulder it's a town of boulder boulder is a classic. So make sense. I already wrote down in heads Durham if ever ever another kid, I'm gonna name it bowl brave. And I think you shouldn't do that our next Matha? So bolder moves on and I'm sorry. But I'm not it's my podcasts our podcast, but show me the Durham Kate next match-up number four mighty Mighty Ducks versus number thirteen miracle Stephen doing putting the two hockey. Oh, oh, I don't like that. I don't either. But it's ducks. I also matchup. Whoa. Guys, come on. It's loved the movie mirror. Sure. And especially because it was based on a true. So right. So you wouldn't miss out on if you if you didn't have it you would still have that real story. You could watch a documentary about it. I could have right. But I didn't you watched when this with miracle came out that was kind of how I learned about it. That's a shame. I know I didn't grow up in a sports watching household, right? That's true. Much of a TV to watch anything except birds the birds and like paint drying grass growing, right? It was where the things charged. So when I saw this movie of Russia story is incredible. Great. It was great. Yeah. It was really cool. That's how I felt about. What was the movie about the about the hostage crisis? The Ben Affleck directed. Oh, what's it called? It's a Jesus Argo. We smart. Was like, well, this is crazy. Like do. You know that this is this happened. Right. So you don't have to react like that. That's how some people felt about Titanic. So so sorry it Mighty Ducks. Sorry miracle. Great thing that happened. The movie itself wasn't as good as the thing that happened. All right. Well, you gave in so much quicker than I thought you were going to. Well, I. Yeah. I did. I think it just liked it so much because it hit me at a time. When I was just starting to get into hockey was like really obsessed with hockey. Right. Was it was just incredible timing. Yeah. For ninety thank you to the movie for that. Right. But in terms of the broader scale Mighty Ducks, right? Of course. Okay. Next up. We have. Number five major league versus number twelve dodgeball. Wow. Wow. Two very very different movies. But both funny in their own way. Yes. Why did you pause? Because I kind of I don't wanna like get ahead of myself. But there's some of the movies in this list that I might classify as a comedy like more. So than a sports movie. What does that matter it doesn't necessarily accept? It's like if you're using it to like really get down to the nitty gritty like picking between two like you did with like Jerry Maguire's technically agents for sure like Dodgeville, I think is more of a sports movie than your. I think what you're talking about happy. Yeah. But I wouldn't classify like major league a comedy major league is a sports movie..

Pretty sure I don't remember. I don't I'm talking on my ass next at some funky. But stopping. Well played. Eight the aver is the nine. In Jerry, Maguire versus bull Durham, Yikes. Death match in the first round. I'm going to be completely. I know you're gonna pick Jerry Maguire because you've never seen builder. I've seen Jerry Maguire either. What's like, I can I've seen parts have you seen mystery Alaska? Come on. I I know show me the money and yet you had me at Hello short. Do you know the context of any of these things and the brain wins eight pounds K that's at one right? I know no more. I think so I think the or the human headways eight pounds or something I know more from context clues about McGuire than I do about bull Durham, I legitimately have no idea. What it's about is Kevin Costner in that one. He's in all of them. He's an all of the movies in every sportsman thing. Yeah. A fan who has an affair with one. Minor league. Baseball player each season meets up and coming pitcher in the experienced catcher assigned to him the experienced catcher played by one Kevin Costner in the pitcher played by Tim Robbins. It's just such a weird role. Now, hold on. Let me let's talk me through this year. So there's a woman Sarandon Susan Sarandon. Fabulous woman wonder if she decides she's gonna sleep with one minor league baseball player of the year. Yeah. And then so she sleeps with Tim Robbins or Kevin Costner. Well, that's that's the whole thing. You gotta watch. Okay. And there's a scene where he wears her underpants while he's pitching because it's good luck. All right ladies underpants. Okay. Okay. Okay. It's a great move. I'm not just should ask. We'll ask questions and just maybe watch it. Oh, it's a really good movie do having seen both. Did you like better? We'll so my only stipulation was that. I don't know if it's about liking better. I think it's like Jerry Maguire while great film, technically, like a sports agent movie. Yeah. Sports jason. Yeah. Movie. Whereas bull Durham is about baseball. Baseball players in baseball team. Jerry. Maguire is about an agent of sports agent. Yeah. And the he's the focal character, even though you know, there's Kubat Gooding junior's guy. He's the focus of the movie. So you're gonna give it to deride. It's the only way I can see choosing between the two. Okay..

"Dollars sounds bad. But it's a three-month supply for a lot of people who are spent a lot of money on stem, cells peptides and things like that. That's actually not that expensive for the general population. That's a shocker compare. Your average supplement budget. But but basically companies now are purchasing things like this from you enlightening them do you in in pardon me? If this is if this is too personal question, you don't have to answer. But but you take this this Tammy one it. Absolutely. I'm really I'm so obsessed with trying to slowly aging process down my own aging that I do everything I take every every single kilom- race activator that has been shown to work by testing in our labs, even the ones that we didn't. Discover I take pay for pay for them to do do tell I I would be curious to hear as much as comfortable sharing on your personally anti-aging protocol. Well, that would take an hour. But I. The short version. Let's let's let's just vote on the lengthening of telomeres. Okay. I take TA sixty five is Genesis and Tammy when eight all of those have been shown at least in vitro too in our lab to actually induce some level of plumbers activity and sixty five I'm familiar with. But a lot of people say that you could just get that by mega dosing with the stragglers. Is that true or not? I don't believe. So I we've we've tested a stragglers roots extracts, and we cannot get any detectable activity. The surprising thing is there's a lot of people out there saying they know what TA sixty five is. But when we test those compounds in compared to sixty five we don't get any activity too. So I think ta sciences is doing a really good job to really protect the identity of TA sixty five even though they've sometimes admitted that it might be something. But you know, when we. Tests that we can't get it except we can get sixty five. Okay. Fair enough. What is what is Genesis? I said Genesis is another natural product at TI sixty five natural product is Genesis is a natural product. It's actually a mixture of different extracts that. Were we were contracted by company called Eissa jenex to test ten thousand different natural products. And we found several that actually induced long race. And the most potent ones were mixed together and are called ISIS. Genesis now used to be called product B B as in boy. But then they changed the name to ice. Genesis is there is there a natural ingredient list somewhere for Eissa Genesis, or is that kind of a proprietary blend. No, that's that's on their bottles. The list of extracts and stuff like that are written right on their bottle. But they don't say which ones are the induces in which ones aren't. And I will confess it. When Genesis I suggest sense these ten thousand they sent US Senate to us blind. So we tested one through ten thousand without knowing. What was what? We found thirty something that actually did work and just told them what numbers they were. So I can't even tell you which ones on that list. The truth Llamas inducers, but they they did file a patent to. And they listen to bunch of things. But I do know that some of those things that list there are not Llamas inducer. So I I don't know what to believe. So I'm, but my business isn't to come up with these kind of things my businesses to find a way to reverse ageing, and these are just things that fall fall out during on in the on the way. And so I'm I'm not interested in following up. The find out how I suggest asus works TA sixty five or even Tammy when eight. When it's not a natural product, former Sukhal and the problem is that natural products. You can't design them to be better. Because if you did they wouldn't be natural products anymore. But construction of timid when we were able to design a better and better molecules to get to the point of Tam mate when it and we're, but we're also continuing to search for even more potent things and. The fight time will probably be the ones marketing those two when we so you take TA sixty five you take Tam at one eight and you take Eissa Genesis..
