LeBron James Mocks Kyle Rittenhouse's Teary Testimony
"You know, some normal people might think it a bit cruel to mock an 18 year old for weeping on the stand. LeBron James didn't think that was a problem. The mainstream media beast didn't mind mocking him. Putting down his mother, claiming the mother is guilty of some crime, eviscerating this kid, and, you know, I keep saying kid, he's an 18 year old young man he's an adult. He was technically, I guess a juvenile when he participated in the Kenosha riots, but you know, a caller pointed out this family, his kids had a tough life. Single mom reportedly homeless for a period of time, raising three kids. And here's this young man, trying to protect a friend's business in a community he worked in, don't buy the media lie that he's some out of stater who traveled, you know, you know, hundred miles to get there. That's a lie. Him illegally carrying the gun turned out to be a lie. The fact that this is even racial in this case is about race is a lie. What's race got to do with a white person on trial for shooting three white people? How do they do the race? The haters just want this guy convicted because he shot three rioters who were involved in violent destructive actions in Kenosha, Wisconsin that
Steve Deace Explains Why So Many Conservatives Are Pedaling the Vaccine
"So many conservatives peddling the vaccine like people that i used to trust and listen to cassini names. You know who i'm talking about. These people say they all care about facts and yet it just is really bizarre to me. Is it wishful. Thinking is now looking at data. Are they afraid of being called names if it's a combination of factors one is there there. There is an element of people in our business whose monetization model derives largely from a platform. Like a face button. And so what you'll find if you go and look at their commentary on things that you don't get pinged on facebook for it. I mean they go. They go to the wall the mattress on those sites on the things that you would get pinged on facebook for like say election integrity or this conversation. They have nothing to say. I think that's part of it. I think also. There is an element within our movement. And i say this as someone that probably was counted himself amongst this group until a few years ago when i could no longer deny the ferocity of just the pagans zealotry that we're up against but there is still a an element of our movement that is concerned about what our base will do if they don't kind of rein them in That that will all be cons- you know. Certified nuts crazy banned everywhere that will be disinvited from polite society so somebody some some really smart people have got to kind of run. The overton window on the right. I think that's part of it I think it's also they think we're still doing conventional science here and that there are you know. There were some very prevalent people in our industry. That were promoting scott gottlieb last year and a legitimate spokesperson. Okay and i think it comes down to you. Know what we can still all work together and live together here. We have you know people that are object there. These people don't exist any longer. No one is objective any longer. You're you're in a culture that's in a cold civil war and i'm sorry it sucks. I'm not you know a father of three kids. I'm not really happy about what that means for the future. But i ha- i can't lie to myself about that any longer
Megyn Kelly Hits Back After Being Labeled ‘Anti-Vax’
"Meghan i wanna do something. Now i regret doing. I've always liked david from. He used to be a fairly nice and influential person. he's been disintermediated from influence by donald trump. because he went crazy. I mean literally whatnot. Now you and i both have trump tattoos and so i can show them off. I can probably stand up with those people who line up in the media who've been assaulted by donald trump verbally lived to talk about it and laugh it off. David was kind of knocked off the balance beam. He's attacked you. This week is being an anti vaccine. I think you actually support vaccines like i do. I get my booster tomorrow. I'm going to Applaud when my grandchildren get back today because their mother has done a study of it and they're safe and qualified for and two of the three of them will be eligible for it. Why is david from attacking. You wrongfully liable ously. Really as an anti dr. Which carried almost slander per se business. It's kind of amusing to me. I'm definitely not an antibac- so i've said repeatedly that i'm provex vaccine. I've gotten it. My husband's gotten it. and i. i think everyone who wanted should get it. But i don't like these mandates. And i really don't like them for children and i've said publicly. I have three kids. Not one of whom is yet eligible for the vaccine. But i did lose my dad to a heart attack at age forty five and i have a heart issue and i worry about my children and their hearts because they've got a genetic predisposition to some frailty there so i'm watching the myocarditis thing very carefully and this should be a decision between their pediatrician. My husband and me and it shouldn't be forced on them. By joe biden or anybody else dr algae and there's a reason that the folks in europe have made a different decision. Our friends in the uk are not requiring twelve to fifteen year olds to get this and even when they get to be older. Sixteen they're only requiring one shot which is all the myocarditis seems to be happening after the second shot. Okay so these are the considerations but people don't consider insane our friends across the pond
Schools Boards Are the New Battleground Over Critical Race Theory
"Johnny is a mom and virginia has three kids that attend loudon county public schools elementary middle and high school so her kids run the gamut. She was there at attended the school board meeting. We thought to be really interesting to get her perspective on what happened. Rachel thanks very much for joining us. Did you expect the loudon county school board meeting to go viral like this. I don't know that anybody expected it to go viral. It has gone viral as the kids. Say it has gone. It has been seen far and wide. The the the image of seen parents dragged out of a school board meeting being arrested by the police. I really really ugly. And i've seen a lot of ugly comments online about the police officers which i hate. 'cause i'm real pro police and we do a lot to to benefit law enforcement on this show and yet. The police are sort of put. An really untenable situation. Can you give me your overview as a mom with kids that are in elementary middle and high school in loudon county. Virginia give me your big takeaway over what happened and what you see happening. Moving forward in loudon county virginia. Thank you mike You know this is. This is really prevalent all across our country. What's happening is they're trying to. Silence us Anyone that differs in opinion needs to be silenced in their opinion. And what happened this week in loudon county is just an example of people speaking. They didn't like it actually stopped. The meeting a stopped and they adjourned the public comment. Area that that topic Based on the fact that people were clapping for someone that spoke up and it really is because they didn't like what was being said so instead of sitting there as a public servant what they were elected in put into office to do And hear from the parents and their constituents they decided to shut it down and when they shut it down we said you know we're gonna we're gonna still say this to each other. We're going to be heard with the school board. Wants to hear us or not. We're going to Tell each other how we feel about what's happening in our county which we have a right to do. We were in public grounds. We were in a public building for public comment and they essentially declared it unlawful to be there

How Being a Spy Prepared Christina Hillsberg For Parenting
"Now how did you first see that. As a parent. I wouldn't think necessarily like cia. Training and parenting have a lot. I would think those van diagrams are just two separate circles right. But what even gave you this concept. I love that you said van diagram because that is totally how. I've used to see a. And i describe it like that a lot because i thought of like. Here's my life over here at the cia and then it became apparent and they're like these two separate spheres but really there is so much overlap in it wasn't until i had observed away. My husband was parenting. So he had three kids when we met and they were six eight and nine and he was already using some of these principles. And i remember. I was kind of skeptical at first. Because i had viewed visas parts of my life. And i always thought i would be more of a helicopter type parent. I was a lot more anxious than he was. Of course. I was coming from the analytic side. I was someone who's more data driven. More kind of black and white. The way i viewed the world or my husband is much more kind of suave lives in the gray true spy i suppose and you know he was using some of these principles and i noticed that he gave his kids so much autonomy but he also just kinda gave him this independence. They were making purchases in the store by themselves. They were all able to ride a motorcycle at those ages. They were shooting bowen arrow. They would just really interesting kids so well rounded and that's one of the key qualities that we emphasize throughout the book. It's this idea of being well rounded because when you're conducting espionage you're building relationships with other people with an ultimate goal of getting them to agree to a clandestine relationship with the cia riots union to build trust with them and one of the best ways to build trust is to build a rapport through common interests and socio officers often want to be very multifaceted so that they can build these relationships with people in so that's a concept that we've adapted with our kids and that was one of the things that i noticed right off the bat with ryan's kids when we were dating was that they were so multifaceted and they i mean they were more interesting than i was and i was nearly thirty years old and i was like. Oh my goodness these kids have all these hobbies their incredible and so i knew he was doing something right. You might think from the outside that teaching kids to ride motorcycles and shoot bows arrows and being ready for any outcomes that that would create kids who are constantly looking over their shoulder who were fearful or who lived in our reality where something really bad's going to happen all the time but in practice you have found that's actually the opposite is true exactly so yeah it does the opposite. It's not raising them to be paranoid thinking that there's danger lurking around every corner. You know instead. Were preparing them to go out in the world by introducing these ideas in a very organic adventurous and fun way over
Boosters, Masks and Mandates
"Welcome back america. You you joined by. Michael oren the former bastard. The united states the former ambassador from israel to the united states. Dr michael oren is back in israel. Good morning dr orrin. How are you and welcome back to you to you. Know i'm glad to be back. I have. I have a very simple but complex question. I read the times of israel to actually find out what's going on with the virus because israel's had everybody else they've got a booster strategy ready they know what's up they know what's down. They have credible people who speak with authority and the public. Why does israel have a functioning public health directorate authority respected in the united states has a complete collapse of credibility with everyone. Well one of the reasons you have to do with the founding fathers you can blame alexander hamilton. James madison and john j Because the founding fathers were so frightened of central authority so frightened of the tyranny of the of the english king that they've they made authority very diffuse. So you know. The governor of new york can't tell the mayor of new york to close the schools of new york. But we have one authority here which tells the entire state but to do and everyone's gonna do it so okay We didn't have the founding fathers but they did some wonderful things but on the questions dealing with a national emergency. Health emergency I guess they didn't foresee that possibility. I got my third vaccination just week. You just pissed me off. I just i was just inveighing against the cdc because everybody knows people need boosters and they announced yesterday they will have a booster strategy in september. And they don't even know what they're gonna recommend and israel has already got michael oren. Who's my age getting. His third booster on freaking believable. Then i made my wife. Is one quarter jewish. Can i may khalia you. Can if not we'll make it happen because honest to god. It's one quarter jewish. I can prove it really. I can get there. You're in we'll get you in here but even then we're talking about now now limiting number people in restaurants but the number of people in stores at master mandatory and hear how 'bout k. Through three you mask your children yes. They have to go to mass that stupid they do in. It'll be the questions whether they're going to be encapsulated where they put kids. You know like three kids in each section of cloud pods makes sense that ventilation makes sense pardon but kindergarten through third grade master not work. There's not a scintilla of evidence for that. Well they do it and You know we're we're trying to change. The numbers are still going up. The numbers are still going up.

Um, she's actually a teacher now in North Carolina, and, you know, hopefully I can get her back at some point, but And by the way, you notice how this ideology really does divide families tears him apart the nuclear family. It's one of the things Mark said he wanted If that needed to be accomplished. It's incredible when when Trump was elected in 16. My mom didn't talk to me till the following October. And it was almost a year. She was that upset about it, and she couldn't believe I would vote for someone like that. But, you know, listening to your opening on the show you were talking about the mask mandates and how the They're starting to increase in all these variants and everything else, and I honestly think You know, they found a gem in the, uh, coronavirus the last time around. I think they're going to try to keep this thing alive as long as they possibly can to try to affect the next election. So do I. Yeah, So do I. And this is a very important point, particularly last half a sentence. This will be one of the attacks on the state voting systems. We have a new variant that we have this new pandemic. That you Republican legislatures. You shouldn't leave in place. What exists because you're going to be threatening all these people all over again. I think you're exactly right fact.

The Best Way to Run a Family Business With Business Coach Dave Ramsey
"So it sounds like there's a foundation that needs to be laid out and you've really laid out three phases to family business and you talked about this at our entreleadership master series. We did a whole day on family. Business and people were going crazy for it because it turns out a lot of listeners are in family business. So i want you to walk through those phases of before you get into family business during and after the succession plan so walk us through the first phase before you get into business. What are the things you need in place. What are the conversations you need to have what are the prerequisites you need to put in place. Well one is that in a sense when you're raising your children you're raising them to be great team members. Great employs wherever they go be. Honest have good communication skills to have great work ethic and those kinds of things so it's the ultimate training program for your employees. Your home for your children right and so if you raise children that have those skills. That's your prep work. And so if you've got a sixteen year old that's an entitled brat. Then guess what they're going to be when twenty six year old on your team entitled titled brat You know and it's a problem so you've got to kind of get the home life thing going. The parenting thing going Way way in advance. That's the ultimate pre planning for family business so it starts when the child is born three years old walking around. How how are you going to allow them to behave you know and so forth. So because that's how they're going to behave wherever they work whether it be at the family business or not and then once they leave that and they become adults and they're going to consider whether join the family business I've had friends that had family businesses and friends that are second and third generation family businesses. That they really weren't hardly given a choice. Just told if it'd be working here it's like part of what our family does. It was and psychological. You that's really a bad idea spiritually. It's a bad idea because you can be really trying to put a square peg round hole and just because they have your name after them you can really do damage to the organization and to the person so we told our three kids. Don't come to work at ramsey. Don't unless god calls you.

"In our culture. We have this you know. Do you want to build a company or do you want to have a relationship with your family and the reality is and this is a true story. Listeners and viewers is that true leaders make shit up of does not exist till they invasion. And what you envisioned through divine act was wait a minute. I can build a great company and have great relationship with my family. Because i get decide what i want to build. And that's a powerful thing when you realize that you get to create the like that you want so. Tell me about other people that you've met and you've shared the story with that. Don't quite know how to make that work for them because all about belief right what they believe is possible. Do you have one of those Interactions you can share. Yes step number one. Like you said is to believe that it can be done and then you have to map it out and you have to choose it so i am working with a female executive right now on this. Who was very convicted by my story insane. Gosh i'm missing out on the life of my kids. And she has three kids. Whereas i just have the one in the acknowledgement was exactly as you just said. It was an awareness point to say. I thought this was how it supposed to be. If i'm going to be an executive and be successful in my career. I can't have it all as a wife and mom if i want to be. That amazing wife. Momma should choose to be at home. But that's not what i've chosen in so in that conversation. The steps were easy to follow wine. You have to envision it. You have to believe that that life even exists of that future life where you have condensed work hours that you can be present at the times that matter times of day and that can shift week by week base of activities. So envision it when you just have to even say like because that's for me. That was my biggest
The Miracle of the Sun

Nine year old lucia let her two cousins eight year old francisco and six. Jesse enter into the rich pasture. Land outside of their town deuce was daily routine for the three kids. Their families were shepherds and the children's spent most of their days with the sheep. They played games and cheese each other around the fields. It was a peaceful mostly uneventful life. Children and their families were devout catholics every morning before breakfast francisco and just jessica would say their prayers. Lucia carried a rosary with her into the passenger on this particular morning. It started to drizzle while the children watched the flock so they decided to hike up to a nearby cave and wait for the rain to pass in the cave. The kids took lunch break which included saying their prayers before breaking bread not long afterward gusts of wind began to shake the olive trees outside of the cave startled by the severity of the breeze. That children peaked outside to witness the storm but there was no storm as the kids stood in the mouth of the cave. The sky cleared in a blinding lights suddenly appeared above the nearby trees. The children were confused. The like wasn't coming from the sun and it didn't look like anything they'd ever seen but one thing was certain delight was coming toward them as it got closer. The kids saw take on a familiar shape until they could distinctly make out a human face then. The lights spoke. The children were terrified by its deep masculine voice. Little just seemed to start to cry. But the eldest lucia bravely stepped forward to protect her cousins.

How to Handle Slumber Party Politics
"My daughter is ten years old in wants to have an all girls slumber party. I recently mentioned the sleepover to my sister-in-law. She has twin boys who are the same age as my daughter and attend the same school. My sister-in-law expressed that her sons would want to be included in the sleepover. My first thought was no way. It's perfectly natural for a girl to one an all girls party but my sister-in-law said my nephew's would be crushed not to be included. They recently moved across the country to be close to us and the boys have been slow to make new friends. They also have a household rule that the boys can only sleep over with family. I love my nephews. They're kind and respectful boys. Who are very close to my daughter and the three kids regularly have sleepovers but it also seems reasonable for my daughter to request a girl only party. Am i being old fashioned. Should i be asking my daughter to expand the guest list to include her cousins or is there a way to help. My nephews still feel included and still honor. My daughter's request thanks. Slumber parties aware shape gets real. You know in terms of vendor division and it sucks you know especially for those of us that want to raise children that do not you know. See the world through a gender binary that an overly you know fixated on girls can and cannot do or boys can and cannot do. But you're not going to have a very easy time getting a lot of those other girls. Mothers on board. With a coed sleepover ten year olds. They're just kind of like maybe just a little bit too old right if we were talking about maybe six or seven year olds and a bunch of parents on duty. And you know. Six or seven year olds sleepover. Sounds a little bit like a nightmare. Nightmare. anyway But maybe then but now if we were talking about you know i have a nephew that is most of his friends are girls and he does not feel comfortable being around groups. Avoid like if there was something to it like that that might be a different conversation.

Well, I mean, it's looking at number one your investments. What do you have? Where do you have it? How's it invested? What kind of risk are you taking with the drawdown? We talkabout drawdown. Sometimes. What's the history in that portfolio over a week? A month, a time period that it lost its value. Right? Are you getting financial planning? Help? Are you getting any tax planning or tax preparation and then go into that What you do about taxes? A lot of almost takes care of that. Okay, spend power with your step a year on and do your taxes, But that's not tax plan. You're paying him to do your prepare your taxes, and that's just taken account from what you did the year before. That's not going forward. So it's going forward and saying, What can you do now? To make a difference? We just had a plan for a client. And, yes, he does have a good amount of assets in Ira's. I mean, a million and a half is a good amount, just pre tax accounts. They're not really talking about the future and my future in taxes. And show me ways to minimize taxes. So that's why I came in. And then we have to say you don't have a will. Really? I mean, come on. Three kids were grown kids in all this money, all this real estate and no will nothing. Okay, We're going to get you a will or a trust. We'll get the attorney involved. "Please stop shaming the parents of this three kids. They just lost three kids. Let's all learn from this and not dispose of freezers and refrigerators and leaving them outside with the doors available to open a shut there's been so little information available about this. And I just read an an additional detail that is interesting, and that is that evidently on this freezer, which had recently been brought to that house in Swannee county up. It's about an hour west of Jacksonville. The freezer had been brought to the house and somebody had installed an after market hasp or latch on the lid of the of the freezer. So that they could put a padlock on it. So. So it's believed at this time that the when the children went inside the freezer the lid closed and the hasp or latch fell shut trapping the children inside. Now, there was no padlock on the freezer. But of course, had they put a padlock on the freezer that would have kept the lid shut and the kids would not have been able to get inside of it because there was no padlock on it. The kids were able to get inside of it. And the the hasp latched shut once the kids went inside. And that is when the kids were said to have suffocated. There was another adult there at the time that was asleep inside the home. And when the when the one mother came outside and could not find the kids. She went back inside woke up the other parent, the other mom there was there was two women. It was there was no report of a of a dad there at all doesn't mean there wasn't one that just is not in this in the report. And then they conducted a search for the three kids in eventually found them inside that freezer. They were not breathing. They tried to resuscitate them. They called the fire department. The fire department tried to resuscitate them as well. And they were automatically pronounced dead. It's eight twelve now on Orlando's morning news, hungry severe weather.
