"It was commissioned by now White House deputy chief of staff, John Podesta. Now, if you're a P1 listener, you show me the Hillary Clinton guy. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. You got it already? OK, cool. Keep that. Get that thing ready to go. John Podesta. And it was funded by top left wing According to the report specifically aimed at winning elections for Democrats. Although the voter registration project describes itself as nonpartisan, It targeted particular demographics likely to vote for Democrats and hired left wing consultants, leading to five point one million new voter registration since 2015, according to its website. Ladies and gentlemen, five million voter registrations. There's nothing illegal, immoral, even illicit about registering voters. I said that before. However, there is something illicit and immoral about claiming to be a nonpartisan civics organization looking to register voters when your real goal is only to register Democrat voters. Just be honest about it. You see, the Democrats understood this a long time ago. You've got to fish in a bigger pond. Your chances of catching fish are better. they don't care. Once you're registered, the scam voting that's unfortunately Fortunately, built into the system at probably a one to two percent fraud rate that one to two percent, let's say, let's just lowball it. Say it's one percent. You register every hundred voters you register. That's one additional vote for you at one percent. Say the fraud rate for Democrats, in other words, illegitimate votes that are counted for Democrats. If you register 100 voters by simple math, if it's one percent, that's one vote. A thousand voters, ten. Ten thousand voters, a hundred. Hundred thousand voters, a thousand. A million Those are a lot of votes. When you're talking about swing states decided three by and four thousand votes, ten thousand votes. Ladies and gentlemen, you're talking about fraud that can flip an entire election. Now, in case you're saying to yourself now, oh, come on, Dan, a fraud rate of one or two percent. You're definitely an election denier and a conspiracy theorist, too. Let me read to you The New York Times October from of twenty twelve. Adam Liptak. Yes, I read that right. The New York Times. Error and fraud at issue as absentee voting rises. Quote, New York Times. Did I say this was under the New York Times, Jim? Did I get that in there? Oh, I Oh, thank you. I thought I forgot that because I thought we were election deniers if we allege like one or two percent mail in ballots may be fraudulent. Let me read to you what The New York Times says about that. You are a conspiracy theorist. Have you no, been? Oh, it doesn't say that. No, it doesn't. It says yet votes cast by mail are less likely to be counted, more likely to be compromised and more likely to be contested than votes cast in a voting booth. Statistics show Election officials reject almost two percent of ballots cast by mail, double the rate for in -person voting. The more people you force to vote by mail, Mr. Sancho said, the more invalid ballots you will generate. So when you say to yourself, because you're a crazy lefty, listen to my show. Dan Boggino is nuts, claiming one to two percent of mail -in ballots may be fraudulent. I'm just going to cite to you the statistics laid out in the New York Times back in 2012 that say statistics show two percent of ballots cast by mail are rejected, double the rate for in -person voting. Are they crazy too? Are they conspiracy? Are they election deniers? See how, again, Jim's shaking his head. Yes, of course they are. They're the real election deniers. They want to deny a fair election. So they're denying. I don't deny elections happen. So obviously I'm not an election denier. Democrats are the real election deniers. They don't want elections. They want selections. So it's kind of strange how Republicans, again, are on the side of fidelity to process. We want a fair free and voting process where legitimate winners win. And we don't want cheating on either side, because cheating on either side destroys the process for both sides. I mean, think about it, even if you're a Democrat, you like voter fraud. How do you know Bobby Kennedy's not going to win a primary over Joe Biden due to voter fraud? Then would you be upset about voter fraud? It's interesting how you only seem to care when it affects your guy. And it's also interesting you how only seem to care about stuff when you can enact police state tactics. And then when I expose the fact that you used to care about this when you thought it would affect your elections. But by the way, if you're asking why The New York Times wrote in 2012 about voter fraud rejection rates by mail, they did it because Republicans primarily voted by mail in Florida back then. That's the only reason. When Democrats started to benefit from it, The New York Times started stopped caring altogether. Now, all of a sudden they stopped. Matter of fact, if you mentioned even their own statistics, you were a crazy person. Democrats also used to care about voting machines. They used to say, my gosh, we got to be careful with these machines are prone to hacking. Can votes be changed? No, we got to check this stuff out. They used to care about voting machines, too. They were the ones complaining about it. And then when Republicans brought up the same issue, like, hey, can we be sure these voting machines are safe? The Democrats all of a sudden had dipey accidents and needed wipeys. Jim pulled this live time because they're good like that. Here is a little mini supercut of Democrats complaining about, yes, voting machines. Check this out. Virginia just stopped using touchscreen computer voting because it's so vulnerable. Right. We need to look at all the voting machines. Every secretary of state needs to be assisted in making sure that they are not being hacked and attacked. I continue to think that our voting machines are too vulnerable. Researchers have repeatedly demonstrated that ballot recording machines and other voting systems are susceptible to tampering. hackers Even with limited prior knowledge, tools and resources are able to breach voting machines in a matter of minutes. In 2018, electronic voting machines in Georgia and Texas deleted votes for certain candidates or switched votes one from candidate to another.

"Then We have a continent librium now. The problem that is that may be true. But even if it's still could be that. I do better if i if i violate cooperation. So for instance. I go to sleep rather than go. Hunting with the other guys so continental librium is immoral equillibrium. Usually it says two to behave morally. I should direct wires. E and i was always very suspicious of that idea but i decided few years ago. The kant was you know. He's right on target and understanding. Human morality for instance. Let me give you an example. This is something which is it. So pervasive that it's it's it's stunningly mind-blowing if you're rational according to the rational actor model you don't vote you'll never why well it doesn't say well so if you if you care about social issues you'll vote. Did you might not vote us because yourself interested. Oh doesn't matter what you care about. No vote in the large election election. More than forty thousand voters. No vote is ever been determined by one person. Okay so no. Individual has ever determined the outcome of one of these elections. So when you go to vote you not. The fact is you're not gonna change. What happens what you do. so why. vote moreover why even read the newspaper about politics. Wasted time you. You can't change the outcome of an election but people vote and they care about the election and in fact i've done this. I've done this stand in line while you vote is before they have pandemic. Oh yeah stand in line and tell you why are you here is what do you mean why i'm here because i'm i want the john smith to win and i say well. Yeah but you know you. "Have to go to vote. Let's see. Okay, so back in 2013, does Give an example, Republicans passed a law requiring documentary proof of citizenship to register to vote, which was eventually struck down in federal court, but at created a chilling effect on registration drives since few voters, carried the passport or seminar down around day-to-day and led to the suspension of 1 and 7 new registrations. While it wasn't effect, they don't want you to vote because I thought, oh my God, you have to think about it. Don't you think about something right now? Go grab your passport right now. Someone comes to your door and they say we like to register. You two? Are you registered to vote? Let's say, you have to go and register to vote grab your passport. This is America. You don't have to have a passport, unless you're traveling out of the country, we don't have passports to from state-to-state, okay? Mom comes to your door, are you have to go register to vote? You're going to carry around your birth certificate. Where's your birth certificate? Grab it. Grab it right now. Where is think about it. Where's your birth certificate? They know what they're doing. Let's talk about Louisiana, Democrat. The Democratic governor has vetoed a bill passed by Republicans, with some democratic support that would require voters to include the driver's license or state ID, card number with their absentee ballot and application or include part of their social security number. If they lack of state ID, Republicans are just shy of the seats needed, to override a veto along alone in the state house but they may be able to win over a few Democrats or Independents necessary for an override, okay. How many people are suspicious of putting their, how are you? You're going to put your social security number on the document. Not a lot of people are going to do that, but they know this fact, they're trying to frighten you into not voting. Don't let them frighten you into not voting. You make sure you vote in Massachusetts Bay State, Republicans have announced. They will attempt to place. An initiative on the ballot next year, that would adopt a voter ID requirement, which would require roughly 80,000 signatures to qualify for the ballot. We have ID wage, but they're trying to make the ID requirements. So, odious, that it is difficult to, for you to vote, like, counting bubble, gonna so far, how many Jellybeans are in the jar? Nebraska, Nebraska, Nebraska state, senator Julie, Salma off by said that, right. And other GOP officials have announced. They are undertaking an effort to put a vote a folder photo ID Constitutional Amendment on the ballot as an initiative. Next year off Republicans, who need to obtain signatures will need to obtain signatures equivalent to 10% of registered voters. Meaning the exact number depends on when the C ROM. shows are submitted, but that proportion equates to roughly a hundred and twenty four thousand voters, according to the states, most recent, Registration statistics. Nebraska is the only state remaining where Republicans control, both the legislator legislature and the governor's office, but have not yet passed a voter ID. Law passed legislative attempts, have repeatedly failed to obtain the two-thirds support necessary off to overcome Democratic filibusters and Republicans have shown little signs. So far of a willingness to eliminate the Nebraska's, unusually strong, filibuster rule by majority vote, Everywhere we go, they want to voter ID law but these voter ID laws do not make sense. If when you read them, listen find if you're in a state where the where they're putting these voter ID laws and all these voter suppression laws on the books, go find this written laws. Find them, they are somewhere on a website in your state read, it it doesn't make sense. New Hampshire, dealing a blow to Republican voter suppression efforts, New Hampshire, Supreme Court unanimously. Struck down a 2015 law, that imposed new voter residency requirements, and made it more difficult for young voters and college students, in particular, to cast their ballots. The 460 ruling that the law. Violated the states, the state constitutions right? To vote guarantee comes despite GOP. Governor. Chris sununu down in flipped the Court's previous Democratic appointed majority. Two, three, two, three, two, two Republican. Okay. Let me see. Let me see with the law. In question requires voters, who registered to vote within 30 days of an election to Show additional documentation that they live day-to-day. At the residence. They claimed as their domicile and attend to do so long term. Now, how are you going to tell something about? How are you going to prove that you intend to live there? How are you going to prove that? You don't know how long you going to be in a place? Are you what? Yes, I'm going to live there. So, oh my God. What, what more do they want voters? Who lack suitable, documentation. She could only pass provisional ballots, which would only count if they could provide documents. Proving their residency met the Law's requirements at a later date. If they didn't break the law and power state election officials to visit their homes and refer them to the Secretary of State's office for potential investigation, which they may which may have intimidated voters off. Why is it? Why is it? Some people are always trying to use you know who that's for that. Yeah that law. Okay that's what people of color. Come on. Now let's just say it. We going to call the cops on you. If we don't think you should.

"That is a huge policy. Agenda people have fought so hard for those policies for so many years. And if joe biden and the democrats get some of that past even even most of that passed in the reconciliation. Bill it would be transformative. People should be excited about that. They should fight for it. And i think this is why it's easy to just sort of have your eyes glaze over when you hear negotiations infrastructure. Reconciliation all this bullshit but these are the very real policies that would transform people's lives that we're talking about here and they are absolutely worth fighting for and worth paying attention to as this process goes on. Would you call it a big deal was i almost. I saw that joke from a hundred people. It's just for the record. I was asked for a clip of of biff tannen from back to the future to play right now but i don't know if it'd be dating ourselves. Yeah you might as well just like subway. Some mean that just shows how old we are are we. Are we just not to delve on this but are we actually passed the future. We're definitely we're past the future. I think it was I think it was twenty twenty. I don't know. I can't remember now i care. I haven't seen the movie in a while anyway. The challenge for democrats now is which policies to prioritize if mansion and other moderates limit bill to two trillion dollars you mentioned this but bernie sanders idea as a six trillion dollar bill. In addition to the policies that i mentioned he's got lowering the medicare age to To sixty he's got a including dental and other benefits is part of medicare. he's got some other healthcare priority healthcare priorities. He's got immigration in his so that not only do we protect the dreamers but also offer a path to citizenship so burns got a lot in his mansion is basically said. I don't think i can go over two trillion dollars though. He hasn't drawn a line in the sand. But if you have the limited to two trillion which sounds weird because two trillion still a lot of fucking money. Then you're going to have to figure out which policies of the ones that i mentioned in the bernie has that we're going to actually put in the final bill. We thought it would be helpful to know what voters care about. So we asked friends at data for progress. Who pulled about a thousand voters last week. The most popular policies turned out to be healthcare. Corporate tax hikes clean energy investments. The child tax credit in that order Anything about that polling surprise you and what do you think. Democrats should prioritize in this bill. It's so funny to even looks like such a departure from the conversation about what gets mentioned. Cinema some republicans keep show more capital. Happy whatever whatever like inside the beltway legislative bullshit. We're talking about to be like let's just as voters what they want. And if we should do that and it's like wild wild all of those all of those who sent us here. What would you like to do. And it's just worth how these are incredibly popular policies and not just popular with democrats or independence but broadly popular with everyone. And so. i think there's a way to look at this and say we. You have to do a because with the most but but are operating off of. I think how much of my life i've you'd writing. Maybe we currently view the outback menu. Which is no wrong choices. Now you now you got me. I was gonna taco bell. But it's like. That's the other job back. I know i'm i wanna blooming onion soon. I gotta go to the opec soon. Thank you joe biden. Now you can now than double vaccine also. Emily and charlie are still on vacation. Because emily would not go with me to the outback. I'm sure maybe. I'll just go to the opec alone. One of these you probably as the parent of a toddler be one of the great luxuries of your life is my guess and also i got distracted. Get excited about the go ahead the takeaway from this paul as the democrats have a broad permission structure from the public to go big and bold. Here i think from us from a substantive and political perspective not including a paying for this with a corporate tax hike would be insane. It is something that we have to do. We should do all of the bulk of the polling. On the for progress boiling. We've done the navigator points like it. Makes things become more popular when you say that corporations are paying for them with higher tax rates. That is do it. We should make republicans voted against it and we should run on it. But i think there's a like well. This is into present popular in this sixty eight percent. They're all really fucking popular so you should go do them and not worry about it because what is interesting. Is there such worry about backlash where we're going to do these big things and then it's gonna cause this backlash among people on the right. This polling suggests that there is not a backlash problem with these policies. We're going to be some voters piss no matter what joe biden. The democrats do but that's going to happen whether they pass something small something. Big something to troy five trillion. We are in the point where you're better off doing the big popular things in worrying about the reaction from the right who are going to react no matter what you do. I will say that the way this becomes unpopular with people is an in the new media coverage does this it just reports on the number the size of the number the size of the bill. If you just hear that democrats are ramming through this. Is i mean we're going to see these headlines everywhere in these leads everywhere so we just have to prepare for it. Democrats are ramming through a multi trillion dollar reconciliation bill That's partisan doesn't have any republicans right and if all people here who don't pay close attention to the news or to politics is that democrats are just spending trillions of dollars and they don't actually know what the policies are and they don't know how it's going to improve their lives. Yeah then. I think there is a potential for backlash not just among the right but among sort of the broad spectrum voters in so. I do think it's incumbent on the white house. Which i know they're going to try their hardest and all of us by the way to talk about the policies in this bill into sell the policies in this bill. One of the reasons. I want to talk about the today's i feel like we have even been guilty of just sort of glossing over what could possibly be in this bill. And i think it's not popular if you just treat it as some you know. Trillion dollar package. That's moving through congress really slowly but start talking about all the policies that could actually change people's lives policies that we have advocated for and fought for for years and years and years and many many campaigns. You mean because we sometimes become punishable. Saves america real.

"Poll question right goodwin. It was a good one. It's a bit click bait but that's fine. We need that kind of what we do on occasion here with random social media channels. We asked on social media. Who you were taking in a seven game playoff series between the edmonson wanders and the toronto maple leafs of course building off a question that we got on ask ray dregs anything last week. What do you think the results were. no neutrality. To it you're either a leaf guy or girl or a oiler guy or girl Slightly slightly ahead toronto. But rate down party lines. Yeah and look. The poll is going to continue here. But well into i think around five thousand voters wright fifty eight percent say the toronto maple leafs would win a seven game series head to head with the owners so obviously that leaves forty two percent in favor of the oil. So thank you to canadian club for our poll question of the week. Now dive into another episode of rain rigs brought you by infiniti. We've got canadian comedian. Jerry di coming up on the podcast. This guy is a piece of work. He's a funny dude and multifaceted to write you. And i have how many jobs i don't know i mean we do lots of things you know him though not like him. He's all over the place over and game show host and comic and tv show. He's a funny dude. He's funny do well. We can't play golf and ontario. Which obviously we'll talk to jerry about. But that's probably why he has time on a saturday morning to spend a half hour. Forty minutes with the likes of you. And i will also check in with quebec the latest from the gambling world. Cool that dot. Co check them out headlines. This week has always presented by the tim hortons. Nhl hockey challenge. It's in the tim hortons. Apres we both have it. You pick three players nightly for your shot at winning. Tim's reward points and i'm i'm infatuated by this even though sometimes i forget i do i do. I feel like if i wouldn't forget that i'd be way of headed away ahead of you in the game because shockingly to me prior to episode twenty. I pull out the history. And the tim hortons app just before i submit. Tonight's picks three picks. And i see that i've got one hundred points one hundred points. I got a fifty banger. The other day two guys score two of my three scored and that earn me. Fifteen fifty points automatically while what bothers me that that whole thing is i've got one hundred points to it bothers me. I mean how you know. There's a feature where you can use the scots pick to help you. Maybe i should be using it. How can i be tied with you. This is it's very disappointing. I know but it's it's the spirit of compete again in a world like in season one we were going to have. We had the big bet with with with the contest. Right which of course which of course you never paid up on. Well exactly how am i going to do that. I guess they say did you. Could you guys are too picky. "My colleagues and i from the michigan association of county clerk's legislative committee voted to oppose the majority of these bills. Because they do nothing to make our elections any safer or any more secure but do everything to create hurdles and barriers to the ballot box. The legislation will actively suppress voters. And make it more difficult for michigan's residents to exercise their right to vote and detroit mayor. Mike duggan pointed out the double standard of republicans when it comes to using signatures to verify a person's identity the same people who are sponsoring bills. Just file five hundred thousand signatures in the unlock michigan petition. Drive to restrict the governor's powers same people those five hundred thousand years. They didn't matache five hundred thousand voter. Id's to determine that they were valid. The secretary of state is just certified. Those things is valid and now they're gonna proceeding initiative process when these sponsors when it serves their purposes to rely on a signature to get something through the she was just fine but when they see too many people in the city of detroit. You many people who don't want voting now going to raise the threshold. The republicans claim that their package bills will make it. Easier for people to vote and fact is while one ambery who has fact checked. These claims has said that that is false and the republicans will also say. It's too early to criticize these bills because they haven't been through committee yet. And you know committees change saying that's just silly that doesn't mean anything republicans. Run the committee's. Why would you even write bad legislation and say it's okay. 'cause it hasn't been through committees so it's a silly defense i know the republicans don't think they're legislation is bad but You know it comes down to. I think susan dima sat her one of her articles. Republicans have given up on ideas and governing. And they're solely focused on amassing power through democratic means. I think that sums it up. Best another point of view over the weekend from michigan's freshman congressman peter mayer. He weighed in on the voting rights. Issue on cnn taking issue really with the talking points of both parties on the subject the idea that republicans are out to broadly disenfranchised. Folks is false. The idea that all these elections were stolen is also false. The challenge right now is so many republican voters want officials to do something but when that something is an impossibility.

"Go find out so They'll have to secretary of state gets to expand that and do what he wants to do. So probably should have been legislatively down a little bit deeper. But i couldn't do that yet. another thing of. Here's one that the progressive should love They're going to limit precinct sizes to two thousand voters if if there was a land more than An hour and one of the greatest examples of this is the piedmont park area where the data tavern they have a hang four or five thousand voters in the presenting lab back up. You know hours and hours at mac so This is an anti fighter. Supression Clause and it should actually help On the progressive side. This particular takraw. So i think that's a good thing. Can i ask you this about the kassim about that. So i have always thought that if you have very small precincts you can actually hang around and watch. I mean i literally think you should write your vote a piece of paper and stuff it in his shoe box and everybody like walks down to city hall. Whatever but i feel like the In more seriously if there's a small precincts people can kind of keep an eye on it. Especially if there's transparency in the reporting up and down so if you're like okay this precinct had this vote count and i can go verify that on an excel spreadsheet forever. Like i will never not be able to see that then. Everybody who's sitting around while they're counting the votes or however works. Can you know with the smaller. The better for something like that are. Is there transparency on how that's reported and then like reported up and reported down. Yeah you said you said the magic word of transparency So there's some transparency in the reporting but does not transparency in the voting so if the voting is not transparent right right you'll have transparency than transparency in the reporting doesn't really do anything so i guess that's where i would leave. They would have to be so small so they have fifty people in a room and went. All of a sudden looked wrong every like everybody here voted for obama. Like how is mitt romney or whatever john mccain getting any votes at all like you you'd have to just have a gut on like how biased your precinct is and the smaller it is. It's probably more likely to too. But i mean obviously they a few votes can make all the difference as we know. Whoa that's exactly what happened. In erzurum counted gut feeling that the the prisoner was largely republican. Ambu and iran largely democrats. Was this weird. And that's how they the era and antrim town where the machines reported the.

"Tent and made it look like the colorful beautiful Mosaic of the American people, but that's not in the political interests of guys like Ted Cruz or Marjorie Taylor Greene, you know, you have to think about the lack of empathy of a woman like that across the hall from her is a representative who has a transgender daughter and she said she flashed there on the wall that the sex is male or female that's science, but we know that 13% of the million population is homosexual. We know that from studying Prime. It's we know that from studying other mammalian species and so I don't understand why she thinks that that's that unnatural if we know that approximately 13% of the population has an orientation towards the same sex. Why are we throwing those people into the garbage? I I don't I don't understand and these people hate my guts because I can debate them rationally and dispassionately day in and day out and since I have sent a reviews I can literally beat them at their own game which is why they have to attack me personally. Remember if you can't beat the guy in an argument you got to attack impersonal right? So that's that's what these people do but it's a disgusting group of people and this is the reason why I was telling John before they you know, Superstars came into the conversation that you know, I was going to call him the message but I've said let me call him Superstore. But you know what I was telling John is going to have to split that party wage because I'm going to tell you something. Okay, Lindsey Graham is not a dope. You may think he is but he's not a dope when he says plus that's code for let's dig deeper for more knuckle-dragging Maga neanderthals. Yep to come out of the woodwork to vote us back in office. Okay, he's looking at the math as I'm looking at the math. What is the math tell you the math basically says and I'm going to be exact math. Forty-three thousand voters. Got Joe Biden the election. Here's another great book, by the way. These two wrote this book, they wrote shattered about the Clinton campaign in 2016. They wrote this book lucky how Joe Biden barely won the presidency? Yes, he won by six million popular votes, but he only won the presidency by 43000 votes. So Lindsey Graham and Ted Cruz. They see more white people. You know, how the Sixth Sense they saw more dead people these guys looking for more white they want to dig deeper and deeper into the Maga base and turn out, you know, they're not looking to turn out seven million voters, you know, that sort of 8174. They don't care about that. They're looking to turn out a hundred thousand voters in the right places to win the electoral college vote by sixty thousand voters. So we have to find that all day and maybe that party needs to be liquidated maybe fifteen to twenty percent of that party has to split their off to prevent that sort of white supremacist movement frankly. Yeah, no, I know and I guess yeah, that's what I assume the answer was there just trying to pick up his pick up his you know, his white nationalist, you know, I mean they, you know want to look let me tell you something if that son-of-a-bitch was somewhat smarter and a little bit more organized. We would have had a disaster rain upon the United States Holly and cruise see themselves a smaller versions of him. There are other people in that party that see themselves as smarter versions of him that can take trumpism reform it make it an uglier more organized version of trouble and we have to beat that we have to fight that and so we have to speak out about it. We have to explain it to as many people as possible and we have to fight that and by the way the four of us may not agree policy by policy line item by line item, but what I love about you guys is that you agree with me in the sacredness of our democracy and our Constitution that to me is an a priori. Yep. Requisite let's make sure that we're maintaining our democracy the Constitution and our way. We're fairly represented free speech and we can debate policy. I disagree on policy all we want but but but the person I'm disagreeing with policy on has to at least agree that democracy should exist in America might have that's not the case and there's no starting point my job first btao see in the intellectual Market Place of ideas. She has an idea that I disagree with related to Growing businesses and Long Island City. I want to explain why my idea is better off if people vote and they say well these ideas better than I've lost e I've lost the battle then I got to come back to the drawing board were the better idea if the Republicans have decided my ideas suck. They're good for a small group of white people. Let me see if I can gain the system to stay in power and oh, by the way, if I can't stay in power under the current rules, let me descend on the cap off. And beat the lights out of our public officials. I don't know. That's not that's not a country that we we grew up in guys. We can't allow that to happen to our country. And Anthony, what do you think about all the voter suppression that's going on right now terrible budget and in Iowa trying to make it harder, but job and John that's been going on for a hundred and fifty years. God bless Stacey Abrams. I was telling people I want Stacey Abrams would be the general manager of the Mets. Okay, you took the best. Okay. She figured out what to do in Georgia to counter man. All of that BS that's been going on for a hundred and forty years. Okay. So now they rely for up against it because we're getting demographically overwhelmed. So what are they trying to do? They're trying to come up with ways to suppress that vote. Okay, and so but by the way make no mistake voter suppression is as American as apple pie. Go back through our history. All we do is suppress people's boats black votes Brown votes women's votes. That's what we've done now. Is it fair? No, it's not fair in nineteen sixty-five. We tried to clean all of that up. Okay, that's in our constitution now, right so we have to fight for that and I God bless Stacey Abrams because she's figured out a way to outmaneuver them. Now they're coming back at her with countermeasures wage. Anyway, I know she's not available to run the Mets, but I would love to have her run the med. I think it's in a World Series before I die..

Dead lives here like I lived here for 44 years. It's like Yeah. Who are you sending all these absentee ballots? Again again. You got to remember Debbie. The strategy is not vote. The strategy is balance, and if they can get those ballots out into the ether if they can get those ballots out in the mailboxes You can get those bounce either somebody just going door to door. Excuse me. I'm with the township election boarded. We'll just wondered if you had any extra ballots we can dispose of those for you. I said this for the longest time. Look at where you had huge increases in voting in and around Madison. How many kids Because I did this. When I went to college. I lived on Mulberry Street. Forget the actual address. But I I promise you that there is ah record of Ben Janz voting from an address in Mulberry Street. And if they just mass mail ballots, well, whoever is living in my apartment on Mulberry could have gotten my ballot and voted. You're telling me that some kid who hates Donald Trump going to UW Madison gets an extra ballot for some guy who hasn't lived there since 15 years on, and he's gonna throw it away. These are the questions that have to be asked. Well, I presume what the one that got me was the resident that lives here. It's like you told me so yourself, handing them out like candy and basically is what I would think that's and that's and that's that's what it speaks for. Debbie. I appreciate the call. We have not had affidavits. We we have not had anyone come put their hand on the Bible's swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Deliver information about enough stolen votes manipulated votes, questionable votes that flipped the election. There is no sworn testimony. That says Yep. This election was stolen, but what we have is we have evidence of the overwhelming opportunity for fraud. The frustrating part. Is the outside of a handful of Republican lawmakers in Madison. Nobody seems to care. Nobody seems bothered by the fact that we just had an election that very well could have been Stolen very well could have not been fair. Free open as we were promised. You have thousands. Voters in the state of Wisconsin who don't trust the next election. The response we get from the woman in charge of elections. Is that? Well, the numbers speak for themselves. Yes, they do. They tell some people are very, very troubling story. All right, just after six o'clock, I'm gonna make you wait for the word. We've got enough time. "Ms free talk live. The number of your is six three two three six one six zero and of course you can bring up anything you want. We are live at this part of the night so thanks for bearing with us as we did the first hour and a half as a recorded episode. And maybe we should recap what happened. We failed miserably. It was exactly what we expect. Only we didn't fail it trolling true. That's true ara you were topless as you promised. During this call with the republicans it was one of the zoom meetings There were what about twenty. I would say people on this maybe a little more than that twenty or so twenty and change the actual video. I took but i think it was at least twenty one at one point and the mavericks came on. I think the total was twenty. Two i think we had. What seven or eight votes for you. Compared to they had like seventeen for the other person. Yeah they stack the deck significantly harder than we did. Yes with everyone who is over the age of sixty or sixty five that are republicans in keene key. New hampshire's is where we live. We tried to join the republican party a couple years ago just to you know to have access to the ballot in a way that the libertarians didn't because it's a lot easier to run as a republican as we mentioned earlier in the show tonight and you know tried to bring some fresh young people into the republican party because honestly they're just dying off literally they are getting old and they're not being replaced by anyone so i mean we did a good job of that we brought in a lot of young people did and all of those young people were just smacked down. Tonight that's right. I was the vice chair of the party. And bob dole was the chairman of the party. Neither of us are continuing. In those roles. We were replaced by a woman and a man probably in their sixties replaced by old white retirees. Yeah yeah so. There's there's not a whole lot that appears to be changing here with the republican party. Effect right now at the top of the drudge report. There's a headline there's nothing left. Why thousands of republicans are leaving the party. It's tens of thousands. I looked into the article. I don't know why they characterized so lightly but yeah it's twenty thousand so far while it may be as high as seventy five thousand nationwide. It says here in california. It's more than thirty. Three thousand republicans in california pennsylvania. Twelve thousand voters ten thousand republicans. In arizona's i mean you're talking about New york times did an analysis of january voting records found that nearly one hundred and forty thousand republicans had quit the party in two thousand five states that had readily available data in nineteen states. Do not even have registration by party. So it'd be hard to to know in those particular states so in the republican party has got a lot of problems on. Its hands right now now. I don't know why this schism is happening at the moment. i'm not. I'm not tapped into the heart of the republican party or anything like that. I don't care about the democrats or the republicans ultimately to me. My goal is to get the ideas of liberty out there into an election. And whether i can if i can do that as a democrat. I'll do it as a democrat. I did that. When i ran for governor to two times in a row here in new hampshire as a democrat If i can do on the ballot for the general election for the primary okay. I did not. I didn't get through. I think it through the primary. But maybe i should try that you know. Why not. why not But i was I've run as a republican here in in keene. I've run as a libertarian. As well whatever it takes to get the word out about freedom. I'm going to do it but it's interesting seeing what's happening here. I mean they're basically they're at least here new hampshire. They're closing ranks. They're shutting out to the young people that were trying to get involved in their party and doing everything they can to be inaccessible. I guess they were accessible tonight in that they were on zoom. I don't know we've never had any sort of check as people came into our meetings in the past. So where's the. Can i see you republican card. I need to know that you're actually a registered voter to mention. We would have to check that. If we're going to have a vote we would okay. It's part of it's part of the bylaws but not to mention they carefully controlled. Who could access the meeting. And who could it. If you had the email even if you had all of the information you need it. They had to actually approve to let you join correct. And that's that's 'gate-keeping if i've ever seen it yet they They had a plan tonight. They executed their plan and they did it flawlessly. As far as their their perspective is concerned they got all their cronies back in charge of this pointless party by the way the and republican party is completely pointless. It is you know it. Essentially they're shouting into the wind. Basically here in keene. Because keen is a strong democrat a major stronghold location. It's democrats top to bottom democrats win every single election here unless it's like a city council which is not part in that case. You have a chance as a republican. But you can't really wear your republicanism on your sleeve. It isn't gonna work for you. But they basically just shut out everybody who is under the age of sixty from from participating and and at the same time. They're having a bunch of people leaving their party One nunez now this nationwide. He's an army veteran. In pennsylvania said he recently left the party and he long felt the difference between the united states and other countries with the campaign season fighting ended on election day when all sides would peacefully. Accept the result. He said the january sixth riot changed that. What happened in dc. That day it broke my heart said nunez a lifelong republican whose preparing to register as an independent. He says it shook me to the core so apparently The big spikes in republican leaving. The party came in the days after january. Sixth so apparently they're blaming the republican party for what happened well. The republican party stood behind trump and his nonsense for four years. They almost never challenged him on him when they did. It was very weak and ineffective. So i'm not surprised if they didn't have the backbone to challenge trump until he was on his way out of power button. How he no longer matters. Anyway we can finally stand up to him right. they're cowards. I wouldn't want to be associated with them out either. I do briefly. Want to give credit to the king republican committee for not falling into any of the traps. That were late tonight. They never addressed the fact that i was topless or the fact. That was miss. 'gendering them or that. I was wearing a leash. They ignored olive honestly. I didn't notice the leash okay. I just kept looking at oppressed right in between them was it. Wow didn't even notice that but apparently they didn't say anything at all they and and you're right they could have fallen into the trap didn't so i guess they deserve some some credit for that. They were preparing for trolling stupid. If they weren't there was like hey. We're about to kick out all these people they know we're about to kick them out yeah. Aria is attending this event. There will be shenanigans. And there's video. You're going to work on that tonight. Posted where probably. I'll probably send it to you. If that's okay you're going to be awake but free freaking. I'm just gonna clip out the really boring stuff. Okay get banned from youtube. It didn't and just put on my channel. Then why don't you put it on your and then i. It didn't hurt me in the past. "I need to will. I don't want to let let me put it to you that way. I don't wanna start. Where i think i need to start. I'm kinda tired of the subject. And i believe as radio host of i am tired of topic. You are tired of the topic whether you are or you're not But before i get there This is kind of important let's see Hang on there is a press conference right now about a covert and whether or not. The state can expand Nope it it. It looks like now. We're not going to care where. I'm not going to jump into this one. Because he's The governor's touring the facility. So i will. I will pass on jumping to it. But i'll let you know what he says. So that being said we have the final numbers on the georgia runoff. The journal constitution actually dug deep to try to figure it out the initial reports. Were about five hundred thousand. People didn't show up in the runoff. Who showed up in the general and more than half of those were republican. Well we know the final number seven hundred fifty two thousand georgia voters who cast ballots in the presidential election did not show up again of the run off two months later. According to an analysis by the atlanta journal constitution of recently released voting records more than half of the no shows were white midi lived in rural areas constituencies that lean toward republican candidates. Essentially when you break down the voting seven hundred fifty thousand people did not show up more than four hundred thousand of those people were republican. Meanwhile two hundred twenty eight thousand. Voters cast ballots in the runoffs. Who didn't vote in the november third election. They tended to be democrat other voters. Who also said all the runoff said. They were demotivated about the presidential election. Many of them chose not to return thinking. There was nothing they could do. The atlanta journal constitution analysis. Found that the drop in turnout was more severe in north west and south georgia areas where donald trump held rallies in dalton valdosta to boost support at both of those events trump both reinforced his criticism of georgia's elections with unsubstantiated allegations of fraud and urged voters to support the senators. The numbers show that while overall turnout from five million in the presidential election to four point five million in the runoff the most precipitous declines occurred among republican voters. Republican leads in the original election evaporated in the runoffs which were required under state law because no candidate got over fifty percent over three quarters or republican. voters said. They thought there was widespread voter fraud in the election. Compared to four percent of democratic votes both election saw significant not by black voters who overwhelmingly supported democrats just eight percent. Fewer black voters turned out of the runoff compared to eleven percent decline among white voters. Republicans sabotaged themselves republicans sabotage themselves. I know voters who didn't show up in the run off. They decided that it was stolen. You know marjorie taylor green. It's not a coincidence that her district was hardest. Hit four hundred thousand republicans who didn't show up. One hundred thousand of them came from north. West georgia The counties of in fact. I got the map here You've got a significant overlap in those counties. Let's see Let me give you the names of the particular counties. So you know where the fallout was the worst Floyd bar toto gordon. Chattanooga walker whitfield katusha in dade county had the lowest turnout. That is marjorie taylor. Greens district floyd bardo. Gordon pickens murray whitfield catava Walker chattanooga in dade county that area polk. County was also down. But not as down as floyd county. "Americans may be more divided by politics than ever. It feels that way but it also turns out there's one thing that most republicans and democrats can actually agree on and that is breaking up big tech. That's according to a new poll from vox and data progress. Vox pulled over a thousand voters this january for their thoughts on the big tech companies and recode. Ronnie mullah is you're talking about it. Hey ronnie hey tiny so. Give me the quick skinny on this poll. What did we ask and we find. We asked a lot of questions about people's opinions about big tech companies And turns out most americans tech companies the amount of power they have in the economy is a problem and also think that it would be a good idea to break up these tech companies. You know have facebook spinoff. What's apper or instagram. Make amazon not able to be both a marketplace and a seller on that marketplace. Okay so there are two questions question. One is is big tech too powerful or is it a problem for us economy. Is it a problem. And we've got Fifty nine percent of democrats seventy percent. Republicans think yet and then on the second question about whether we should break up big tax or the solution. We've got fifty five percent. Democrats saying that sixty one percent republicans saying so right and this is just so rare. This day and age to have bipartisan consensus on anything. Yeah it's interesting in this poll. That republicans are more anti-big tack than democrats on both questions. They are Both republicans and democrats are anti-big tech but for kind of different and almost opposing reasons. It has to do with their opinions of about speech. Democrats seem to think that these platforms aren't doing enough and then republicans are thinking that there's too much censorship on these platforms Okay so different reasons. Same solution. Yeah so this is starting to not just be a theoretical construct right. We have google and facebook being sued by the states or the ftc or the justice department. Nothing exist in a vacuum right. There are public opinion pressures. I wonder what this polling means four policy outcomes. I mean not. It's not as if the justice department. The ftc in the states are going to do something just because people wanted but you get more public officials that are elected based on advocating for this type of stuff There is a way in which the politics of this can affect policy outcomes. No right. i think it's just politically popular and this poll shows it. Surani you as a couple other questions to Talk to me about the question. You guys about banning trump on twitter and what democrats and republicans about them. So is one where we're back to normal and democrats and republicans had completely different responses republicans. Think it was a terrible idea that twitter band trump and democrats thought was good idea And obviously That's more normal Super fascinating poll has a lot of implications. This question is not pulled that much right. I mean. I haven't seen anything like this before we did a couple years ago and This is already once lawmakers. Were like looking into these antitrust actions. It's interesting there hasn't been antitrust action against the tech company for you know twenty years since microsoft so this hasn't really been on our minds now. There's five different antitrust actions against facebook and google alone so it's definitely on the public consciousness.

"Into tomorrow from mad. Lib invades blue note. This is democracy now. The quarantine report. I'm amy goodman with juan gonzalez. It's run off day in georgia. Republican senator david produce facing off against democrat jon. Ossoff and republican senator. Kelly leffler is running against reverend raphael. Warnock the two races will determine control of the us senate. Three million georgia residents have already cast their ballots in a record turnout runoff elections but voting rights activists fear many eligible voters may be blocked from voting. The aclu of georgia's revealed one hundred. Ninety eight thousand. Voters have been wrongly purged from the polls while legal efforts to reverse the purge head of the runoffs failed voting rights activists continue to pressure state officials to reexamine. How voter rolls are maintained. We turn now to a report by investigative journalist greg palace that's narrated by the actress. Dave debra messing two competing stories widespread voter suppression or massive voter fraud for example this year. Georgia's gop secretary of state accused one thousand georgians of voting twice thousand people of that one hundred fifty thousand. That actually double voted one thousand voters. That's a felony crime. And how many of those thousand did he arrest zero none zero voter front so fraudulent voting a fantasy suppression just before the twenty twenty election. The same georgia official cancelled the voter registrations of an astonishing one hundred and ninety eight thousand voters. They called it the purge. I've got my hands on the big purge list how it actually took years greg palace. An investigative reporter with rolling stone got suspicious about the disappearance of tens of thousands of voters from georgia's voter rolls georgia toll palace that these voters had moved out of their home left georgia but the perch voters told the reporter than go right here tonight. Think according to the state of georgia they said these people moved away. So i went through. Listen and i started finding these. God lived in this house for twenty years. We're living in this house. Thirteen fifteen years. I been purged from the voter rolls and my was not there. So what's going on. The state says these voters have moved. And here they were. Who knows if you move. The post office actually has licensees can go into the postal computers. And tell you exactly who's filled out those change of address cards so the post office contractor gives me the official list of people who've moved and people who haven't moved and it turns out these voters they had moved one hundred. Ninety eight thousand. Three hundred fifty. One of them had not moved. So i took this list to the aclu the american civil liberties union of georgia and they issued my report georgia voter roll purge errors. Legal you bet. I looked according to federal law. Before your purse off the voter rolls you have to check with the post office and their official licensee contractor. That's law so i get a call. From the president of the national bar. Association seeking hoffler purging poses a classic sign of voter suppression. That's a classic. Tactic isn't ironic that. The people being purged from the polls by larger black and brown stores toffler suit to return all one hundred. Ninety eight thousand voters to the roles. The soup was filed on behalf of rights groups headed by black voters matter adagio brow but co owner of black voters buses during at least twelve states to spread their message of even the national voter registration act a simple. A simple requirement is third party licensee. That's a simple requirement that you could literally just in a matter of able to verify that those names those hundred and nine eight thousand eight never would have been on the list. They said they could never move move. There's no evidence that those one hundred ninety eight thousand people so we know what this is. This is another form what we will leave voter suppression. A federal judge told the state to meet with black voters matter and fixed the discrepancies. The massive errors in the purge list latasha brown backed by dream team as americans. Top rights lawyers went to the state capital to confront officials to fix those discrepancies. This case is just one of the many ways in which they are trying to destroy the vote. I'm one voter disenfranchisement that voters from the new president's office demanding a meeting and then we'll see so latasha lettuce on a marsh into the capital the attorneys and told the state. You're coming to meet the director of election. Now remember this was once the heart of the confederacy office of the secretary of state. And it's dark..

"Eric. Seventy seven nine seven three seven four to five. I'm still hung up on our men and woman if you weren't here earlier well we ask it in the name of the monotheistic brahma and got known by many names by many different things a man and a woman men and they woman idiot. What an idiot. Listen i'm sorry. I realized that democrats don't get religion anymore. you know. This is one of the problems. Democrats her album for time is as they become more secular and hostile to religion. The most religious people in the united states of america are Hispanics and the second most will group of religious people in america are african americans. And you've got a bunch of of secular white and and others This guy was not white but they are secular. They don't go to church. They don't understand it and This idiot actually thought that that amen was a gendered word and so had to say a woman as well. That's actually what happened at the end of this prayer and what's so funny about. This is the the number of people out there who jinyu woodley think that the democratic party is the ascendant part in this country. And you can see. They're about to have a crack up and they're starting to lose Black and hispanic voices In voters you know. David purdue is now running hispanic language advertisements. He is reaching out to voters in spanish and the reason is because they voted for mitt forty three percent. Here's a this is from bloomberg news. Republicans have increased their outreach to latino communities in their effort to win georgia's do runoff elections after president. Donald trump outperformed expectations with voters in november through advertising campaign of instant. Candidacy republican senators. David purdue and kelly leffler and their allies are seeking to persuade and turn out a diverse voting block that largely supports democrats but has been receptive to some republican messaging peeling off even a fraction of support from democratic challengers. Jon ossoff and raphael. Warnock would be decisive in a tight race that has major implications for governing in washington for years to come if you can shift ten thousand voters one way or the other that could define the race as daniel garza president of the initiative a nonprofit affiliated with the coq backed american for prosperity. They will very much tip the scale. The number of registered latino voters increased eighteen percent between twenty thousand six hundred twenty twenty according to pew garza who's organizations political arm canvassing for purdue said how groups talked to more than two hundred fifty thousand latino registered. Voters of the state is critical. A review glads collected by tracking firm at impact found that purdue and leffler have aired at least four spanish language ads since advancing from the november election. Neither ran any ads ahead of it but you know what the republicans did. They actually campaigned in these communities and treated them not as an identity blocked but as people.
