"There's a man named phileas Bruce, who is the pseudonym, computer programmer, is helping to create strategies. And he and I together are going to be producing more strategies, simmering away to the dancer daily strategy cards. These will be on like progressives for. 9 5 double double bonus and various other popular progressive games, which at the basic strategy level. So these will not be every last damn penalty card, which is basically an impossible chore if you're working on progressives. But it will have. Between the number the royal of 4000 coins and 42,000 or fourth thousand coins and 4200, you use this strategy between 42 O one and 40 four 92, you make this adjustment. And so it will be the basic strategy level adjustments for a lot of different games. We think they're going to be useful. And they're in process. I definitely don't have a date. But I'm looking forward to this. I suspect Anthony is too. Yeah, well, this one, I'm very, you know, this one I'm excited about. I think strategy cards are except for computer learning. I strategy cards are just the best tool you can possibly have. And especially for a game like video poker. I carry, you know, I've played these games for a long time, but I carry the cards constantly. I'm always referring back to them. And it's cool. You learn as you go, you know, you have to look at them less and less, but in the beginning, it's great. And nobody knows, you know, unless you generate a new strategy for a moving target on something like a progressive, you know, you're kind of guessing, but I see your pants like, okay, I guess I should start holding the ace ten now, you know, for the royal. And that sort of thing. But this, I haven't seen the strategies. I haven't seen, I mean, I've seen sort of the prototype and what you guys are doing. But I would think that these should be valuable and pretty easy for people to use, right? Because I mean, essentially, you're just going to tick mostly, you're going to have tick points of the royal flush or whatever it is, is it royal flush only? Or it's not going to do things like side side progressives, is it? Like quads and things like that. On the double double bonus, it will have adjustments to make for four aces. There are times and double double bonus where.

"Whether it's a theory or you can bridge out to other kinds of of of you know real dollars or whatever you know ultimately all the way out to you know real fiat but the the the fascinating thing will be how how companies start to structure themselves to protect themselves from that kind of thing. I you know. 'cause i read these companies that are starting to do this decentralisation. And it's like yes. It's all wonderful and by great. Let the community do things until it's until until you get somebody who's got ill intentions right. Maybe a competitor. At maybe maybe someone who wants to take you out of the marketplace and they start influencing bad decisions. It's there there is an outsiders coin. He's definitely there's positives and negatives for sure but just just want to get onto other stuff. But the one thing that i would say the somebody can activist investor coming in. That's already an issue and where a lot of dollars are doing right now. Is instead of one coin one vote which is how they most of them have started their evolving to writing scale. So if you get. Let's say ten thousand coins you'll only get twenty votes. You don't get twenty thousand votes or whatever the cases so it's a sliding scale you get one point one vote. You have five coins. Maybe two votes ten coin. Three that kind of thing where you can't go right. Yeah no you're right it doesn't it doesn't it doesn't scale as your as your as your number of things but ultimately that's a deflationary i mean not to get into economic theory here but that's a deflationary sort of idea right in terms of you once you start getting into the idea that my buying a certain amount of coin or getting a certain amount point isn't as valuable because the value in a community driven business like that is the influence is the ability to spend my coin. Four things and so control is one of those things. So it's just gonna be fascinating. It's yeah this movement to gr- the group consensus and think it's it's just it literally and i guess just to wrap this up i i you and i have read a lot of books. We read a lot of articles..

So if you look at The what i call the minnows let people hold this team the coins. They already now hold thirteen. Point even to scene of the network visit Twenty six the whole kind of half. what the whales. But that isn't the full picture right because the exchanges also hold exchanges. How the coins for about one hundred and fifty million people so presumably must've retail holed coins Diaper for the coins on on exchanges. You don't see very large heine with individuals putting coins on on exchanges It's just not done consumer research But like if you add the coins exchanges have and what we see on chain really that's equivalent to the white house and then you can count each on top and it's above the while so these afia chance you know The smallholders have more controls a network than the lagest it. The people will teen thousand one team one thousand bitcoins and above and the guys in the middle sort of in the teen two thousand coins. the sort of sideways downwards bat will say losing the control to the small guys The interesting thing for this cycle is the one hundred. Bitcoin two thousand bitcoin strata. And that's the Khanna high near within nate with individuals. In the small she had funds they. They actually bought tons of bitcoins and these being an outline of bump in that bump started Around thirty thousand dollars in january it was Zoom in i think yet a. k. This link would gini coefficient across the coin across the last twelve years which is That slow while that's wealth distribution The economists susan an economy. No the Coin network that's even close to the level distribution A really it's a really strong argument. the distribution. Bitcoin is You know it's super important because if you control a low the thin at ceases to be You know a decentralized network Can be pushed around by like gouge. I think about twelve thousand coins and it just got down to a dollar like last week when everything was dipping capital i would about more but now it's back up to like a buck forty. I think as i'm recording this. I love eighty. Eighty eight donna. I'm a believer in that. And i think it'll be ten dollars within the next couple of years. But i'm not i don't play the short-term game with cryptocurrency and i don't pretend to be like some crypto genius. I'm playing the long game. Just keep throwing some cash cash and just keep dumping money in there and just going to let see where the cream goes. I take him the giants upcoming season. We'll saquon barkley when he's healthy sake once an elite player his pass protection sucks but he's elite runner. If you remember two years ago when he got hurt. I guess it was early last season. Their off line stuck so there were no holes but adding the two wide receivers by offensively. Like jones has no excuses. They have a really good defense really good strong. They have a solid defense and they have weapons and saquon is. He's a big down. love sake. one needs a pass protect better but he should. You have to do canada and at the time there was this. Usfl i think it was called and sacramento had this team like sacramento mountain lions. And they had this guy named andrew sunday ho and because in the draft there are no diamonds in the rough and they weren't really listening to what i was saying like obviously like i would give my evaluations but it wasn't. They weren't going to like if they were going to pick the players because they liked the guy. But i went to louis riddick. This andrew day ho guy could play. We didn't even have them in our system. You needed a red and then you just need as much manage you could and you could do as much damage and you could split that damage if you wanted to so you could do a different damage damage to seek us fill clear it was a little more utility and i think they decided they didn't want that but it's it's interesting because but point is is that they're changing quarter for cards. Cards have been there. Forever are not around anymore lake. And i don't know if they got some of this design stuff from yu-gi-oh but like For instance counter spell is gone and now you have a cancel. I think it is because counter spell was too blue to To counter on target magic card now on it's three blue or yeah it's too blue one colorless to to do the same thing and then they just don't really have counter spelling one so it's so they've been changing or two which i thought was interesting but going back to arena It's interesting to to see some of those differences but one of the things are going to say. Is i really think it's cool because as you play your color challenges you get a lot of coins and all you need is you need A thousand coins and you can get a pack so just playing free. I've been able to get like several packs. Plus you've got your Base magic cards the get from having all five Color challenge sets. So you have all those decks which is Five five decks of sixty. "You know they'll the the narrative back then was we just hit this. Colored crash beckon april may prove zayn and Decline was very correlated to stocks so in englewood saying takeoff and people will say the coins filed haven. It's highly correlated. The stocks didn't hold over this The sort of bearish crash. We had But the sean chain picture was completely different it was at that point long tune vistas were stacking their staking had Supply shot started climbing straight up from the point And actually it took a number of months before the mac it kind of price hidden and there was a realization nation at the queen's running dry in took a while for the kind of speak native volumes. And in the in the mac to kind of get squeeze are kind of picture The futures and derivatives exchanges Having a huge dominance over the short term price and at that point The price was swinging wildly Above what. I would have considered a these particular floor. Investors will support and was trading above the but that floor started climbing higher and higher And at around october price con omit That floor Estimate what Long-term investors were supporting bounce. You know and that was when the the market Realized that there was supplies. Chalk can we ran up to Forty fifty and sixty thousand dollars so right now. The structures similar These a lot of bearish people mac at the price action reflects bearishness and underlying these like this invisible accumulation from longtime in investors. That i haven't seen anything like this since october last year. It's it's interesting. I think the key point there is kind of the fact that there's this huge divergence and like i've been looking sunday star slightly and why crazy casinos. This has been going on for so long. now price keeps diverging from the fundamentals But it is kind of wild like you said Looking at other times. I mean at least in the last year or two. There hasn't been a a divergence this large since since you know like you mentioned september so just waiting for that information to kinda get priced in You know in the meantime. This thing is just growing growing growing looking at that. Big uptick in that liquid supply ratio. This week was pretty wild also seeing in. I guess you could touch on this if you want it. You know the uptick in wales where that. That's something i have been watching for a while It was was the number of new wales which have been trending down. But you'd actually pointed out to me that yet. A number of whales were trending down but their supply that they were holding actually moving up Since that big installation of it so almost like supply was getting concentrated into older whales within this week When we had that big uptick. I think it was like sixty five thousand coins. accumulated by by wael entities. In one day the same time you had enough taking new wales. So i think that was interesting to st. "Yeah it all depends on how you handle it you could Not tell the irs it would be stashed cash to you. Just can't use you. You can stash. Cash but cash is probably easier to hide than than bitcoin because it is on a blockchain. There are other cryptocurrencies. That are easier to hide but yes you could potentially hide it from the irs. Just like you could hide. Income from the irs. Now if you got audited you'd be in big trouble but so yeah bitcoin Apparently there was a tweet from elon. Musk at one point. That tesla was not accepting bitcoin anymore and the value fell pretty substantially. But it's still it's priced. Today is thirty nine thousand three hundred and twenty eight dollars And it's increased from under a thousand over sixty thousand since its arrival in two thousand. I i owned it in the thousands at one point and owned theorem in the hundreds But i got out of the game. Look i think cryptocurrency has legs is. Just what's going to succeed out of all of those crypto-currencies and there's going to be a lot of that just completely fail like just they go to zero And that's and there's a lot of froth in the market right now as to like like doj coin like which was literally a coin created as a joke. They can be like mean you. Creating a coin for the working experience and then exploding in value in the billions of dollars as a joke literally and the creator is completely transparent. He's like no. This was a joke. This coin was created as a joke. Well and it's i don't know what the market cap of right now is two point. Seven billion however that even single digit digit following the dod. Dodge king alon must saturday night live appearance. It did fall slightly but jumped back. It's amazing how volatile the says they talked about elon musk's saturday night live appearance literally affecting global markets. You know if he was making fun of something or if he dropped like his tweets move markets. It scare yeah. no no. it's crazy i mean. Also to with this crypto currency is you are You have a pretty much unregulated market where there are what the term wales like. They're like. I don't know the statistic is for bitcoin. There's like the top ten holders control like eighty percent of the supply. So then you have instances where you can call up your buddy and move markets. You know what i mean. So it's it's not a great place for your average joe investor to be in kind of kicking the tires and there's no look. Bitcoin could go to one hundred thousand coin but it just as easily could drop two thousand dollars a coin just just as easily and you have to you know. I wouldn't suggest for our viewers in this masterclass to max out your credit cards and get a line Equity on the old house in. Put it all into doj. Is that the recommendation. Is that the master class. And i completely one hundred percents stand behind that well. Yeah it's it's it's very volatile And it's It's hard for people like me. Who's very old fashioned. Not very savvy technologically to wrap my head around these things you know like if i can't see it touch it whatever you know like i did. I bought stock in solar city. Probably in two thousand sixteen which then got bought up by tusla. So i had stock and tesla and elon. Musk was a you know he had used being. Investigated the sec. Because of some tweets and that he'd sandton my stockbroker was like luck. I think we ought to pull out of this. I don't know what the sky is doing. It seemed like he was having a meltdown. And right. And so i did and then lately he was like you know. I think we ought to get back into that. I think he's kind of settled down. I was like okay. You know but yeah a lot of this is like it's not just numbers it's personality based it's you know sort of a cult of personality if you will so i don't know While just to run a down. There's bitcoin efim. There's by nance coin which is Market capita fifty nine billion. There's tether forty eight billion. i'm sorry. Fifty eight billion card dano fifty to dodge coin which says forty six there's ripple which is forty one polkadot which is twenty six internet computer fifteen point six and others. Bitcoin cash which it says that's fourteen billion. That's that's not the same as bitcoin Yeah that's when bitcoin split. I mean you. You can get really kind of in the weeds with this stuff. But bitcoin proper. That's the bitcoin carring that everyone's talking about bitcoin. Cash is when it when it split off and created another like side function of bitcoin. Right folks so what i want you to do is what i do. At the roulette wheel. I take all my chips. I picked thirty two black and it all those right there. It doesn't come up then. What i do is i pull the credit card out and i go and again war mummy elastic. You know the plan. You get a cash advance on the credit card which is like twenty nine percents right. Yup well for me. It's doesn't doesn't matter because you're gonna triple your money. It doesn't it doesn't matter that table just was cold this table. I can feel it. It's come on. Maybe there's this great joke. I heard it was like it's this guy was complaining. He said god lost a bundle on that hockey game. Jeez i lost a bundle on that. You know the rockets and the basketball game lost a ton on The patriots football game in his friend says well. The red sox are playing goes. I don't know anything about baseball. All these people helping their experts. They got her perfect. They got the learning so we got the line. Folks crypto currency. It's the future. "Crypto frenzy lead to financial independence and early retirement or financial ruin. I give you the rundown of some of the themes that were likely to be on display one of the most interesting questions of were there new. Systemic risks created by crypto market volatility as more hedge funds and other traditional financial actors. Got involved still. I do think it was notable that the expert witnesses congress chose were generally pro innovation and pro crypto. There was one who is most vocal about concerns about systemic risk. But her complaint was at least as much about hedge fund opacity as it was about crypto volatility. But what about the questions from congressional members did we glean anything new to be frank. There was a lot of the same old. Same old brad sherman to the surprise of exactly. No one still hates crypto. His hot take. This time was that he'd prefer people to bet on the california lottery then. Invest in crypto quote crypto currency is something you can bet on but if people want to have the animal spirits to take risks. I prefer them to invest in equity markets to support the building of american companies or the california lottery to support the schools in my state crypto currencies or highly volatile. So if one person makes a million dollars nine lose one hundred thousand coin based makes money the millionaire goes on tv and says how wonderful it is. Nine others do not retire indignity. This theme of retirement actually came up a fair amount is there an epidemic of retirees. Losing money in crypto that. I haven't heard about bridge clubs. Converting to leverage coin trading associations. Now in two thousand seventeen there was some shit ladyship where korean pensioners were suckered into buying ice ios and things like that. That's completely despicable for the record. But this cycle. I haven't seen anything even sort of like that anyway. Back to the sherman later. He left no questions to his feelings when he ended with. This statement cryptocurrencies. Have the political support of the patriotic anarchists who rooting for tax evasion. I hope we shut it down. Truly sherman's opposition is nothing new and i will only add a tiny bit.

And we do indeed have heavy hearts today to learn that john mcafee allegedly has committed suicide in prison in barcelona very sad times. We've interviewed john four times on episode one hundred two hundred three hundred and then almost episode four hundred Because he was about to head out somewhere and wanted to make sure that we get him back on the show. And i'm just going to say right here. That john mcafee didn't kill himself. Just i'm going with that well. We we interviewed him several times. And he made comments to that not only that but he also made tweets about that one tweet. I have right here from the fifteenth of october last year. I am content in here. i have friends. The food is good all as well know that. If i hang myself a lot epstein it will be no fault of mine now. That's a pretty powerful statement and then he followed that up with another another one on this was actually in november thirtieth of two thousand and nineteen is tweet was says he's getting subtle messages from. Us officials saying in effect. Were coming for you mcafee. We're going to kill yourself. I gotta tattooed day just in case if i suicide myself i didn't i was whacked. Check my right arm. And it's a tattoo called whacked is gonna lose a wax token available on the mangoni decks. That he yeah. That's that's not a clue right there. Earlier on wednesday a spanish court ruled that mcafee could have been extradited to the us following approval from the country's council of ministers and the opportunity for his legal team to appeal the decision. The seventy five zero previously argued that the charges. He faced politically motivated in that. If he had been extradited his life in prison That could be very true. John you will be missed and again our deepest sympathies to janice and our condolences. I just it's super sad and it sucks know. The government comes after folks that are you know came after john mcafee for some of the things that they thought that he did. And there's just a whole legion of horrible people out in the world running free and in some cases protected by the government. So this sucks man is really sucks. Usd coin being very usd e one dollar polka-dot sixteen twenty nine and by nance us dollar. We have three stable coins. Solar travis in the top ten this week for volume. What does that tell you. That's the first time that's happened just tells me that. There's a a lot of money being pulled out of the market and sitting in stable coins. Right now There's a lot of people do that. Took us out the big winners the past week. Not no big winners. I mean i mean if you look at it like x. d. c. network was up six and a half percent quant up five percent and then everybody else under two percent. Most of them are in the red big losers for the week aunt down forty. Two percent coosa mckay. Sem token which. I'm a fan of some other. Been doing some interesting things down. Forty-one percent this is why you never listened to travis when it comes to financial advice the the internet computer. icp that is not the insane clown posse. That's i see that token has been tanking thing was launched at well over one hundred dollars. A now is down to under thirty five dollars. Thorpe jane down thirty percents them down. Twenty nine percent q t tm down twenty nine percent. polkadot down twenty eight percent etc etc etc. This was a bloody week. It was a really tough week. We saw bitcoin go down below thirty thousand for the first time since january. It actually hit its low. I think it was just under twenty. Nine thousand is recovered. More than five thousand dollars since then which is why. If anybody tells me you know they asked me. Should i buy bitcoin. I just shrugged my shoulders in looking. Because i know the volatility that it brings you have to have a strong stomach to be encrypted in even in spite of having a strong stomach when we woke up to the crash where everything fell out earlier this week. I told producer aaron. I'm like leave me alone. I'm depressed in hurts in my heart. It hurts just. I'm just i need a few hours to just allow it to sit there and and be painful because i know she's like it's gonna come back. I'm like of course it's gonna come back. I know what's going to come back but it doesn't mean you know it's like yeah i can survive getting kicked in the nuts but it hurts like hell at the moment i i would suggest changing the verbs though. That's not good and like it hurts me and my heart. That's not a good thing to say for your overall heart health in general so say it hurts me and my toe some hurts me. It hurts me and my ass hurts me. I got kicked in as way better but yeah you know it i look at. It doesn't seventeen thousand eighteen when it happened. It was like oh damn oh shit. I felt way more painful than because we didn't have that lesson to pull things out of market right whereas stable coins weren't as prevalent. Then so you try to pull something out then. The market is still gonna tank. Like what am i gonna do. I'm gonna take it out of a shit coin put into bitcoin and bitcoin tank. Into how do you protect yourself but now with stable coins. It's a whole lot easier defy. You know it to take those and and loan out your cryptos. It's a lot easier to maintain some stasis during these roller coaster. Rides and crypto dipped. All the way down you know to what two twenty nine thirty thousand something like that and then pop back up to thirty five thirty six thousand nine hundred thirty four thousand almost thirty five thousand so you know one of the things that we talked about. Even last week was a lot of the. Whales were accumulating. They're not selling their accumulating these lower prices and an even so i guess we can move the story of micro strategy overbid because you know micro strategy now owns more than one hundred thousand bitcoin i. They've accumulated another chunk thirteen thousand coins and here they are owning as you mentioned the being show point five percents a one half percent of all the bitcoins. Every exist micro strategy.

It would look very weird to the pit though. If you have fifteen thousand dollars in chips why are you buying with cash. I so If i were going to play that way. I would do the reverse. I would use the chips. I and and if you run out of chips then i would start buying in but it but your question. No it does not generate a c tr for video poker ctr's in no big deal If you play that big you've hit. Wt g so they already know your name and address So in the government doesn't really care about cdr's while i so on video poker you can feed ten thousand coin in into the machine in cash and it won't lock up and give you a tr right. I mean they don't count cash a machine as nobody counts that correct. The most machines Well depends on the casino. Many machines won't Take that much in cash but You mean even over a period of time if you bought it but in in the larger casinos today. If if you're gonna play a lot is just a whole lot easier just to give them ten or fifteen thousand and in having give you tickets of it put it on the machine directly or give you tickets to five thousand each or some such which is a whole lot easier than feeding in hundred dollar bills but This is for people who are not trying to disguise their. I d People both people who are trying to disguise their. I d do not play video poker for stakes where they're gonna get a w. g. right next question when i refuse a player's card some casinos. Then ask for my driver's license. I should i respond to that. Well over twenty one and it's not for my age as nancy. reagan said. just say no. Just tell him sorry. I don't i don't have it. I left it in the car..

"Crypto bitcoin. This week interesting. One hundred thousand or crypt. Join three bickering. Three thousand coin. Who knows i mean. I think this is the reality. If somebody is listening to this in the crypto community and you're building technology not you're just like a crypto crazy person yelling screaming onstage in miami but if you're actually a developer in the crypto space put aside bitcoin and that sort of toxicity. But if you're just a crypto person. I think you have to look at what just happened on this round table. You have four people running the four largest best of breed for real real estate art collectibles and startups. Like we're talking about the mount rushmore. Here of turn of assets in this new space and not to be conceited here. But we're we're all putting nine figures to work plus and we can't understand as technologists as asset class managers. You can't come up with a reason to use it. We would love something innovative. We'd literally see nothing of value here. And i was open to it. I didn't lead the witnesses here. None of us. We all have the same exact reaction. Which is what's the point. So if you're in crypto there's your what is the f. ing we can trade on these platforms. We have databases. We have developers. We have titles we have. How else sees are you actually solving something like giving yourself a real hard. Look in the mirror. If you're a crypto person you're making some token is fund. Ask yourself if you're doing it for like the virtuous signaling of being crypto person or some religious reason or there is actually value to the consumer. I mean i don't think any of our. Did somebody want to put their tokens for a warhol in wallet. Scott and then risk losing it or they rather you just have custodianship of it. I mean yeah they would just rather us custodianship of its Our investor invests. I think now anywhere between thirty and forty thousand dollars over their lifetime hitting coord- yeah you know kinda mid-size investors don't want to deal with this Michigan what about you chris. Anything there anybody who's wants their tests the roadster number sixteen on a blockchain not interested interested in the nfc market. I think we're creating new types of collectibles right. i try. i think there will be as an asset class. I think it's fascinating. I think there are places where you know. Rarity and And cultural like significance will will will create longevity in value and create appreciative potential. Right like i'm fascinated. I wanna is a place we want to be a no speak intangible assets. I think it's one that that will look at really seriously But we also have you know we've created a a trust layer with our platform and we have to be really careful about You know or underwriting. Standards in the quality of the assets we bring in and and historical sort of You know view of appreciation where where value is going to be stored in the long run so scott. I'm i'm sure people pitch you on taking your collection in the nf seeing some of them and burning the original painting to make the nrt go up in value. Like those crazy people did that but it all seriousness making an nf. Would you have the right to make an nf. Tea or a collection of nafta is based on an artwork. You own yup. We actually don't have the right. So it's it's misunderstood thing about about copyright law but you know we can buy at twenty thousand dollars painting. And we don't actually own the copyright to it so riley the enough teas that are happening today or primarily being primarily been created by artists themselves Or the state so for somebody like monet. Could anybody create an nfc of akasa were monet. So i'll give you will give you an example. So the world vision recently agreed to in a quote unquote. Nfc some of their Some of their their their rights. I guess are or their images of specific were halls. I know the former chairman of the They're very aggressive about how the copyrights protecting their copyrights etcetera. So they They're doing these enough tease without transferred the copyright so you can buy the ft but you still don't get the copyright you just get that digital asset for a million dollars and the person who bought that warhol the same one also doesn't have the copyright so if another medium comes out Based they'll have the right to it. If t shirts are going to be made or a mural is going to be made or fine art prints all that goes back to the original harnessed and then the the great masters are in the public domain. I can't remember the rule. I think it's after a seventy five years of life of the seventy five years. After the life of the author of the artist mickey mouse rule because they disney keeps getting extended. It was originally like fifty years. How mickey mouse is gonna be in the public domain. And we got to protect the mouse. Highlights this has been great. You all next time on this week in startups by..

"But the internet revolutionize the way the world works. Now i mean in so many different ways i kind of look at that now with crypto. Does it meet zo in ten years from now are they're going to be nine thousand coins that make everyone get jillian air. No four right now by the way. There's what says four thousand four thousand. obviously way. i haven't slept much was advocating sleeping a lot. Yeah but still but still thousands of coins coins man so when ten years from now are they're going to be thousands of coins and they're all going to be still here or are half of those are more. Maybe ninety five percent of those going to come out to be ponzi. Schemes but crypto itself or the technology behind it could very well and most likely will based on people that i've read and people know what they're talking about it will most likely change the world so those two things can exist. At the same time. I totally agree with that in Yeah i mean thinking about it like the other side of this to not individual coins or anything but as an asset class it's not a defined asset class right now because there's i mean from now look a granted. I don't call me out on this. I don't spend hours a week Like i'm not a big crypto buff. So i don't spend hours a week like listening to podcast and reading blog posts about the future of this stuff but i don't think there's consensus on what the definition of its asset classes yet. I've heard people say it's a gold replacement. I've heard people say to stock replacement i've heard people say it's angeles system replacement to complete financial system. Replacement it is a currency like there's there's no consensus on what the asset classes and that does matter like the the weird eventually settles if it settles as a currency that has different characteristics trade-offs than if it settles as a gold replacement or a replacement. Or that's totally different. If it settles as an asset class it rivals the behavior of stocks. You know maybe rivals. The behavior of a private company like who knows you know what i'm saying. There's no i haven't unless you have you. I don't i haven't heard any consent consensus on how it would be defined yet as an asset class. There's speculation where it might end up. But i don't know what it is. No i totally agree. I think and again call me out this. We're not. Brian and i are not sitting here. Claiming crypto crypto cripple goto. No crypto guru. I have read enough in and heard enough people that do know what they're talking about within the space. I think there's pretty. I think it's pretty. Well accepted at this point. The whole thesis of like bitcoin taking over fiat currency entirely. I'm pretty sure that's been all but debunked As far as i know. Tell me that. I'm wrong there yell at me on facebook or whatever comments you put it in the comments but i think that is has been kinda thrown out the the one i hear the most now is that it's it's replaced. Bitcoin specifically do other things obviously thousands of coins but bitcoin specifically from what i've read and i think the accepted kind of use of it now is is digital gold right okay. Yeah but again. I could be dead wrong on that and five years from now five days so now that could be completely different but once different that you were saying ryan did i think is also difficult here is. There's been no there's been no consensus or acceptance of what problem. It's even solving. There's okay everyone knows that crypto and the technology behind it is incredibly could possibly life changing. But there's still a lot of like what is it going to actually change specifically. What what problems are there that it's gonna fix. I know there's going to be people out there yelling like it'll fix this this and this i'm just saying there's no consensus around that. Yeah not not. it's like easy to grasp behold. Oh yeah that's what's interesting. You know if you look at it right now and it's a thing that over the last few years i mean has literally had triple digit increases in drops in tiny periods of time. I mean. I think anyone could agree. Like that's not normal like that's not. That's not normal investment behavior. That's not sustainable. Long-term investment behavior which is again why i define is a speculation. I just treat it like that in your portfolio until we have a little bit more understanding now. The pushback to that is well. That's how you get rich off of something right. Is you take a big swing something. That's unknown yes. That's sure that's that's one way to do things. And if that's your that's your deal than cool. I hope you take a big swing and hope you knocked out of the park. I really you know. But i'd say get get rich. Quick and get poor quick two sides of the same coin. Now here's the thing. I'm going to say as of right now if you don't hold it matters if you don't hold it your want it if you don't trust it like if you're in the polling you're saying i don't own it and i don't know enough about it and i don't trust it yet then like you can move on and keep running a business at a fifty percent profit margin in the industry in the entire country and have a twenty five percent savings rate and you're going to be generally fund. If you want to participate with it i would just say do it with an amount of money you could stand to see disappear overnight could happen i think like is it more likely that bitcoin disappear like you lose. All your money in crypto. Then you would lose all of your money. Permanently in diversified portfolio stocks and bonds like. I think that's true hundred percent. Yeah full confidence. You are more likely to lose all of your money. In crypto versus a diversified portfolio in the financial markets. Yeah it's just. That's why i still think of it like a speculation. It's still wild. It's a wild untamed beasts. In so so here in. Here's the other like you know the other side of this anytime..

The Peter Schiff Show Podcast

"Off the low earlier today at forty two thousand per bitcoin as i am recording the podcast. We're back above forty three thousand again but the chart looks horrible for bitcoin. Obviously it doesn't look horrible if you go back to the very beginning. i mean. bitcoin could stay in a bull market and the price could go back down to twenty five thousand. Maybe it will reach twenty thousand. Which was the old high and it could still be in a bull market but i think it would be very hard to sustain that bull market if we actually saw the price of bitcoin drop from sixty five thousand dollars. An ounce all the way down to twenty thousand dollars. I don't know a lot of the money that just came in because they thought they were going to get rich quick and it was going to be easy money. I don't think they're gonna ride that out. I think they're going to sell and they're never gonna come back in fact if you look at the total number of crypto currencies that now exists as i am recording this podcast. It's nine thousand. Nine hundred and fifteen and clearly at the rate. These new crypto currencies are being created at thin air. We are gonna have ten thousand coins by next week now. All of the bitcoin fanatics or bitcoin maximalist or pure wherever you want to call them. They always have to make fun of all these all points because they represent a threat to bitcoin. Not only do they represent competition because money that is going into an all coin is money. that can't go into bitcoin. And in fact money is now coming out of bitcoin to go into all points but it undermines the narrative of scarcity. That's somehow bitcoin is unique and scares because there's only twenty one million of them. Well maybe there's twenty one million bitcoin but there's ten thousand other coins have their own supply and they're all competing with bitcoin then that whole scarcity argument collapses now people will try to say well. But they're all not. Bitcoin will sure they just have a different name but they don't have different substance. There really is no substantive difference between bitcoin and he's other coins. Yes some maybe proof of work. Some may be proof of stake to have a little bit of a different protocol but at the end of the day. They're just nothing right. They're they're not real. It's not the same way that there's a difference between gold and another element or even another medal. I mean gold is not the only metal on the periodic table but there are real differences between gold and lead or gold and copper golden nickel goldens zinc. Those differences are far greater than the difference between bitcoin. Any of these other currencies. A lot of people try to say well you know it's it's the infrastructure that's built around. It gives bitcoin value. Well so what i mean. There's nothing that stops that infrastructure from also accommodating any of these other crypto currencies and. It's not just the all coins right that bitcoin competes with you. Now have all sorts of stocks that are competing for the crypto money..

"Because again I think all three thousand teams are are very solid by the way no one's talking about this Taylor Hall. I added my My Hockey Ultimate Team the 88th overall Taylor Hall card has like five goals in two games guys. Immaculate entering the Zone with the puck like just graded Zone entries. It's a great card. Amazing, pick up by me. It was a good bargain. She was like thirty-five thousand coins. It was anyone who plays hot can appreciate the addition of him to my second line. So don't talking about that, I don't know why no one's talking about that. That's a pretty big deal five goals to games. That's, that's player-of-the-week status right there. But yeah, so yeah, for its first-round matchups, go. I think that it's probably I don't think it's the Capitals. I don't think that's the TV want to play first mainly cuz yes you can beat them, but your family home. Going to kill you like your kids, a war. When you can't tell me like Matt grzelcyk is escaping that series. Will have come on. I mean I think if you're the Bruins like a best case scenario, you LeapFrog the Islanders and get either the two or three seed play, probably the Penguins and then have the capitals either beat the shit out of the Islanders or even the Rangers. Which choice that would also be a good scenario of which like if the Rangers sneak in place you want a hot team if they gives the capitals trouble. There you go. Well, yeah, I think the best case is, you know, either you face a week a week, I understand with slumping in or like Pittsburgh that got a lot of skill, but you can still, do you still get your chance against especially, once you figure out kind of that they open up a lot of the middle of the I switch, Cassidy lose to in the last game. And what do you know? You gotta gotta cable, who can speak to the neutral zone? Now, it's grayed out that works. I know that because again, my Hockey Ultimate Team is just so good on it. That's my main. My baby, seven, Allison Taylor Hall. See what he does for me at any rate, Before I Let You Go. What kind of listeners look forward to at Boston Sports Journal? Yeah, we're going to be starting to do our early previews of matchups in the play-offs because it's right around the corner is crazy to say that. So all that stuff will be over at Boston Sports channel. Com. So subscribe to b, s j. And if you want from me on Twitter you can do that at, Ryan. I'm just going 93. Go to all that for sale s media Outlets, marinoff ski, that's Connor, and a Boston Sports channel. You poke barristers have an amazing rest of your day.

"Believe the move was going to happen. But i'm seeing as of last may check the prices from last night to where we're at now and i'm looking at a couple of points. I'm basically on theory. But i'm looking at excerpts i got a preference for stellar on my watch in light coin watching donna. Watch him polka dot watching change. Yeah you're going to be the big ones. I believe i'm gonna say this is a friend but you gotta understand the difference between centralized wine and a centralized coined acute assert back. No matter is there's a lot of the coins that are going to be going away. There's something like eight eight thousand coins ortho currency coins on the market right now whilst crazy. There's hundreds of them that die off every single year. And i think it's gonna happen. It's gonna continue to happen and they're going to get down to a few like carrano is probably one that you think they're gonna naturally concise go. No it's not. I don't think it's gonna dumb. I just think it's going to grow gradually because they have a very very good development team and they got they got a huge contract in I wanna say it was nine or one of the other african nations. It's it's a big contract. Though and the reason they got the contract is because the people really liked their user interface. So card donald's going to do really well over. The long term. Doctor was good inflammation appreciated. They're not gonna change my money up so a novice like myself. Yes sir wallace. Should i be using or does it even matter. I'm gonna let you know what i can't answer that. Honestly you can get meta right on your browser and you can literally you can have meta mask on your mobile device and it just. It's really nice on the mobile device because it comes up really fast like you push the button and it's right there the community and use meta mask they also use trust wallet..

Unconfirmed: Insights and Analysis From the Top Minds in Crypto
What is Patoshi?
"This week's episode relates to some events regarding some bitcoins that were mind very early on in bitcoins. Lifetime in fact it was so early that it was a time when there weren't that many miners besides the Toshi but before we get to the recent events let's talk about something else called Potosi which you discovered. Can you explain what Pluto she is? Yes to cry Potosi. I just would like to go back in time to to the time. I I did this search and this was two thousand and thirteen and I have been working like a year. A strengthening the security of the beacon core working with the the the quarterback trying to find vulnerabilities. And I didn't know anybody going in between those times so I I wanted to make sure that you know what happened on the first years of Bitcoin That were transparent and it was very very few information about that so I just thought that what would Sadashiv have done? I mean he would have used CAS computer to mind bitcoins. And he would HAP- kept his computer on for. You know the time it needs until the network was Maastricht and if you take a look at the very few first hours of the bitcoin network and and you say okay this might be Satochi Right. Because he just launch network. He wants everyone to join so he's running note to enable all the other people to connect but if if you take the hash rate in the very first hours of Bitcoin and you extrapolate that for the whole first year you realize that it's highly probable that Toshi collected twenty two thousand coins right and I said these. Bitcoin Talk Forum and I was heavily criticized because the and rarity of Bitcoin. A it's like kind of says at Cisco she was kind of a fully Trista Guy. He didn't want money for because money's rated with bags and bugs are related with power and we are trying to be completely new centralized system financial system so I was heavily criticised. And say say okay. Let's try to find proof of this. Let's try to find some evidence of this because for me it was something very you know what she would have done. And so I. I went to the first Version of their bitcoin. Core CISCO DID Dot Thuan and I found out there was the floor and to explain this flow. I have to explain a little bit. About the technical part of beacon combining so there is when you implement announced value. And when you run out of space when when these Knows wraps around you have to increments something else and is something else called the extra notes so the speed of this extra nuns and the speed of the nuns is related to the computer using for mining. If you are a fuss computer you get a foster increment. The extra and what I found was that the astronauts counter was not reset Atari block so it was running a counter to kept running so in a sense every block a minor produces it stamped with are kind of a real time clock that identifies the speed of his computer. So I plotted this on a very simple graph like having the x axis the block numbers and the access the extra NHS and a very very interesting pardon papa and despite perfectly separates the differ minors at a different times. Because each of these miners Casa Clear. Line a clear slope on this graph so. I said okay. This is all I mean this. This graph describes everything so I published decent my blog and I had like thirty thousand visits in a couple of days. And so I I those times The whole community was about thirty thousand people so I think that looked at graph and the other interesting discovery of this graph is that Satochi spent almost no none of discounts like spent like forty bitcoins in the whole first year Probably in time and the amount of money the the value of those because whereas of five dollars so clearly there was two discoveries. One was this pattern that I try to correlate with Sushi and the other was that this person or group of the mining Had A complete confidence in the system he had never sold. He never sold Discount after a few tries a few tries so this was kind of a shock for the market and and the price of bitcoin actually went top because of this like fifteen percent. So I think that's a very very good for the community and and showed some transparency that was missing and I call this Potosi because we don't know if xactly set Oshii we can argue we can have our guest that this was socially but really we don't really know for sure that if this minor was social and at one thing that I wanted to understand because I wasn't fully sure I understood it. From looking at the graph. It essentially looks almost like Saito or Potosi was mining faster but is that possible or simply just that those Potosi minor was renting the extra nonce more quickly between blocks or something is that what was going on. I wasn't sure exactly why the that's correct. A it turns out when I saw the graph of the same you. Did you realize that seems to be faster on any other computer and that is kind of suspicious so I try to dig deeper into this and I found that what was triggering was making these Dismounts extra knows England foster. It was that the nonce was being incremented in a shorter space. Like about one fifth of the space that any other mining minor was was using. So if you reduce the range that you Increment in the nonce. Then you will end up increment index foster so what we see in the graph East essentially a probably a normal computer and he just stand this up because other watermark in these blocks and the exist of this other watermark is in fact a confirmation that the first potter is actually something very very particular for for a very specific minor.
