Bill Barnwell on Bears versus Packers

"Watching bears and packers and aaron rodgers to the surprise of literally. Nobody just decimated the bears and mitch trubisky forty one to twenty five so i wanna turn this conversation to the horse race. The mvp conversation because there really hasn't been a wire-to-wire front runner. This whole time. We've seen the pendulum kind of swing. Russell wilson kyle murray. Was there for hot. Second mahomes obviously and aaron rodgers who remains squarely in the thick of it after an off season full of drama around jordan. Love being drafted at quarterback and yet there is aaron rodgers just dominating again robert tanya and guys at touchdown to robert tanya made aaron rodgers the eleventh. Qb in nfl. History to pass for more than fifty thousand yards the second-fastest so where are you on. The whole rogers ram vp. Okay so i. I'm inclined to pick. Patrick mahomes by choice right now. And i think the only thing separating those two with russell wilson third is that one disastrous game. Rogers had against the bucks earlier this season. And i think if you're going to make a case for rodgers. Mvp to start with the idea that he's doing more with less and mahomes has to work with. And wilson has to work with the homes of course has a dominant group of receivers with Terry travis kelsey leading the way. Russell wilson has decay metcalf and tyler lockett and we talked about this before the season. Rogers has devante adams and a lot of question marks. Rogers has injuries and opt-outs affecting his receiving corps from week to week and on top of that. The guys who are extra showing up are posting the second highest drop rate for any quarterback in the league and yet when you put rodgers back there even against a very good defense which the bears are. There are stretches this year. He looks absolutely untouchable. The bears had no answers for him on sunday night. So the other

The proposal calls for hauling the mess from the dump site along south. Central Expressway to the McCullough's bluffed landfill on Youngblood road a quarter mile away the lowest bid from Roberts trucking in Dallas was for four, hundred, fifty, thousand dollars records show the highest bid. was three point, three, million dollars

How To Generate High-Value Leads On LinkedIn

"My guest today is Matt Kark. That is the founder of the virtual edge and CO creator of the rainmaker system. An online marketing system that helps coaches, advisers and consultants get two to five times. Hi I'm sorry. Let me start that over again. Two to five high value leads per day from Lincoln without paying for ads. and His business partner have helped over a thousand businesses in seventeen countries grow exponentially. There's three step approach places human connection at its core paving the way for a new wave of lead generation marketing. Virtual. Edge is a multimillion dollar company and they have helped their clients grow to six and seven figures without paid advertising. Which I find fascinating, which is why wanted out to be here today. So thanks for joining me today, Matt. Thank you for having me on. I'm excited to be here. I am thrilled to have you here and I saw this subject is so fascinating for me because I. Feel like I. See a lot of people doing things incorrectly unlinked in and like especially now that we're in the situation where people can't be face to face. Right. So this you know human connection at its core, it is interesting for me but. I want to start with if you would define what Yael believe is a high value lead. Yeah, brilliant. I love that question because most people Wayne, they say leads and especially on. Lincoln. They talk about connections and they talk about how many potential people you're going to reach out to. But that's not really elite. That's just the beginning part of the process. So for me hide that you lead is somebody that has gone unchecked profile. That has been specifically targeted. You've had a conversation with them and you shared with them. What results you can help people like them achieve they say, yes they're interested in talking and you get an email address himself a number that's what I consider lead. And at somebody that is going to be that's lead first of all but a high value lead is someone that you're selling something to fall. You know at least three thousand dollars. Okay, that's interesting. Okay. So that's sort of the benchmark then. Yeah clean okay. Sell. It fit based on that it feels to me like knowing your ideal client is really really important. So you could differentiate between high value lead someone who just might be a good connection for you yes. So. Will you talk some about I? Mean I'm all about defining your ideal client, but for the listeners, will you talk about why that is so important? Hundred percent and you know like you said I mean it's one of the most important things that you can actually do right and. Getting clear on your ideal client will determine a couple of things if it's like, maybe I can take a step back. If you're trying to target everybody, it's very difficult to create a compelling message to get out into the marketplace. Because you don't know what they want and what they're trying to achieve. So if you get laser focused on an ideal client and instead of Trying to use a shotgun from you know five hundred yards are a thousand yards, use a sniper rifle and you're going off to that one ideal client. You can dive deep into are as a person. Instead of just thinking of them as. A prospect potential clients you dive into who they are as a person. When you do that, it allows you to understand who they are and what they need and what the core things are that they're really excited. And the things that are actually going to be excited about buying and spending money intended conversations, and once you do that, you can then just go and find more people like that. You, see for a lot of people that we work with you know they don't need to have forty fifty clients a month. In fact, most of the people in order to get to six and seven and eight figures, they need three to four clients a month. Right, so it's not like you need a ton of clients to be able to generate massive results. Okay. So I love this idea of getting stuck with they are as a person. And I feel like there's people listening who are thinking. Okay. But. If I'm selling like beat be like consultants that that deal with businesses. Does that still told trial. Absolutely one hundred percent because if you're a consultant and you know mean that's what I do and that's a part of our business and a lot of. The companies that we work with our consultants as well. So even then the most specific, you get around few years targeting and what sort of results you can help them achieve the easier it is to reach these guys. Now the mistake that most people make is they go in and they say their business consultant they'll say I help businesses grow right. Number One. What. Kind of businesses who you talking in the business? What are the big problems they have? What sort of growth can they achieve and what sort of timeframe?

New Orleans Saints agree to terms with QB Winston on one-year contract

"Yahoo Sports is Charles. Charles Robinson reports at Norrland's is finalizing a one year deal with Winston. The former buck coming off a five thousand one hundred nine yards season thirty plus touchdowns three interceptions and immediately eyebrows. Raised the idea that Winston would stay in the division. Go to the Saints. Backup drew brees. He enters the mix with Tatum Hill. Who IS SUPPOSED TO BE? And maybe still is the heir apparent To breeze so it just leads to a lot of unsolved mysteries in its own right greg your thoughts when you heard the news that Winston may be and quite possibly is headed to the saints I I wasn't shocked because I I what I did. This hashtag setup into your own comet with a big way. Why why you made your Greg sounding you often. I got it. I wasn't gonNA say anything but then mark reacted to it and I can't help myself but go ahead. I did this Saints Twitter Pot. Podcast just knew that way wolf as podcasts. Him into my buddy Adam and they were saying they were hearing. This was going to happen before the draft so they got sources on the inside and and they ended up being proven right and it makes all the sense in the world of your Jameis Winston and makes sense of. You're the saints too. I think you get a chance to get Jameis. Winston in the building for a year probably drew brees his last year. We haven't heard any financial terms the Jameis Winston deal you know was reported on before the Taste Hill extension Came out and the money that was involved. That extension came out. Part of me does wonder. Is this deal for absolute sure does did Winston know about that before he he came determines but either way he? He should do the deal. Because if he can somehow impress Sean Payton or if he can end up getting in the lineup and being as backup like Teddy Bridgewater What better place to possibly learn because damis Winstons still has a lot to learn but he also has a lot of talent a guy that throws for five thousand yards can do things in the NFL and like there's no better place to learn. Other than to undo. Breezy and Sean Payton.

Could Brandin Cooks be traded for fourth time in six-year career?

"Brandon cooks had a tweet that just said Freeman yes that was on Friday and when you read that there's two things that come to mind one is okay he's talking about the corona virus in Africa wants to just go back to living their normal life and not trapped inside their house order the sportsman and I says free may he's upset with the Los Angeles rams and he wants a trade out of LA you look at the contract the branding cooks he's under contract through the twenty twenty three season has a cap hit of sixteen sixteen seventeen and seventeen million dollars across the board the dead cap this year for Brandin cooks is twenty nine point eight million and then following that in the next three years thirteen eighteen and three million of the number is an approximation he's still twenty six years old and at one time was viewed as a very promising up and coming wide receiver and I still think you can have a good career you know you look at what he was able to do from early on in his saints career shoot the twenty eighteen season with the rams you go through the stats twenty fourteen fifty three receptions five hundred and fifty yards three touchdowns twenty fifteen eighty four receptions over eleven hundred yards nine touchdowns that had that monster monster twenty sixteen where he catches almost eighty football's goes for one thousand one hundred seventy three yards and then a touch it's really had to back to back killer seasons with eighty four you know the two months years in twenty fifteen twenty sixteen and twenty seventeen he gets dealt the patriots and he goes sixty five receptions just over a thousand yards seven touchdowns how to touch down early on against the Texans was a big moment he had I'm in the playoffs he got knocked out in the Superbowl Malcolm Jenkins sent the matter game and the patriots after one year that one can get a contract extension so they traded to the rams and they ended up getting a first round pick back again for something to get a first round pick back for him so he goes to the rams twenty eighteen eighty receptions twelve hundred yards five touchdowns good year and last year only forty two receptions five hundred eighty three yards and two touchdowns so this is that was an off year for Brandin cooks now he only played in fourteen games but you know still it was an off year so you start to wonder is Brandon cooks going to get traded because of just the situation the ram Charan it is got rid of Todd Gurley defensively they say they're already locked up Barron Donald you're gonna have to sign Jaylen Ramsey to a long term extension you would think you also have money tied up in a lot of money tied up clearly to Jared Goff I don't think it's a great quarterback but he's getting paid as if he's a great quarterback and you saw that offense who this past year yes the the rams were a different team but you look at their wide receiving options do you really need Brandin cooks that office when you have Cooper Kupp having a very good season last year catching almost a hundred footballs and going over eleven hundred yards yeah Robert woods last year not the thousand you know thousand yard season caught ninety footballs so can you survive without Brandin cooks and get something back to help your football team what what's first do this what you will get the contracts Robert woods and Cooper Kupp Robert woods is a free agent at the end of the twenty twenty one season so for the next two years you're a robber was that a good number base salary this upcoming year it's five million in twenty twenty one at seven point five million capita they point one and a cap of nine point one so that's a good number and then when you get to Cooper Kupp can you take a look at his contract situation with the with the rams that's a contract situation where Cooper Kupp let's see where his deal is that he's a free agent at the end of the season so he is on a two million dollars and change contract so if you are the branches anything you have Robert woods who's twenty seven right now maybe he gets it probably does get another contract with that team and then you have Cooper Kupp who's twenty six read the codes are still very young yeah he's twenty six as well what do you do if you're gonna pay if you intend to pay Cup and also woods are you gonna put a lot of big money with three wide receivers so I think there's a good chance the Brandin cooks does get traded or the ram say you know what we believe are more like the football team two years ago not the team last year so we're gonna keep what we have and we're going to run it back brandy cooks for someone who's so talented and someone that has done a very nice job in his career so far what we've seen him go from playing with drew Brees and Sean Payton then go flying with Brady and Bella Jack and now playing with golf and the bay well those are not the key pad stops you get to all BAME coaches and to all fame quarterbacks golf one of seeing what he's going to be able to do in Sean McVay's is greatly respected around the league so the branding cooks tweet Hey C. Cooper cops jump on it and and clarify he's talking about the quarantine hi it's it's just amazing and it never surprised anymore on social media where if that were his intentions you never know but if those are his intentions how people now I think he could be traded but when you think about it with what they may need to do in the future or Cooper Kupp and Robert woods at the Brandon cooks experiment in the in the rams you know you could say could be short lived with your canoeing on that was really short lived he could be on the move once

"Yeah I got a new job Jerry Jones is right he told us that Jason Garrett will be coaching in the NFL come next season and in fact he will be doing just that he's been hired by Joe judge and the New York Giants to be there all offensive coordinator we had a great day together you know you know I didn't know Joe real well been around about a couple different occasions I good conversations with them really good football conversations and now he and I know a lot of the same people I work for coach saving you work for coach David coaches always said such great things about Jo and so many other people that he's been around that I've been around said the same thing Jason Garrett on the giants in the huddle podcast and he was eager to make comments right away I'm happy for him I think as much as the Dallas Cowboys needed a fresh start and they're thrilled about their new head coach Mike McCarthy Jason Garrett needed something fresh and new as well I I tease the bunch up before that the cowboys actually made the announcement but my hash tag was free Jason Garrett let him go do something else let him go work in a different capacity although it is interesting right that he stays in the NFC east I thought the board to be really humorous why the giants though that was the question that he was that's right off the top just a first class organization and you you think about the history and tradition the New York Giants franchise in and what the merits of build the what the tissues of bill and all the great teams all the great coaches all the great players will get a part of this organization throughout its history and you know when you're playing this organization like I was four years you feel that Jason Garrett the new offense of coordinator who gets to work with none other than Daniel Jones interesting to hear what giants fans think about having chasing gear at again with inside the organization now jump to their often through coordinator spot where he was so maligned even after callin more to go over the plate calling full painting all the often whoa that lets is beyond as the the Dallas Cowboys had a really good off into season that was not the reason why they didn't end up by winning the end of season getting back to the playoffs in the stats for Jack NZ Kelly it don't tell you the whole story but their office of numbers were better than a good portion of what we saw from the yeah the rest of the NFL Jack was over four thousand yards as the Ellie and continues to do what it is that he's paid to do and yet still a lot of people pointing to Jason Garrett because the often didn't do enough well now here is going to be working with the second year quarterback in New York in Daniel Jones I want to start by and really what Joe said and in its introductory press conference you know I have an outsider's perspective on the giant a great respect for the organization great respect for the players on the team that would compete against but again it's it's coming from the outside I can't wait to get on the inside and and start to work with some of these guys and you know you mentioned Daniel Jones we thought a lot of coming out of college we weren't in the market for a quarterback it in the first round the year that he came out at the same time you go through that evaluation process and you know anybody who was around him in our organization with the cowboys just thought the world of does it sound excited I mean for sure most of the questions that he's been answering over the past few months a bit about his job status and about why the cowboys were under achieving but still he felt rejuvenated yes like he's really looking forward to this

2020 Pro Football Hall of Fame Class

"Pro football hall of fame I introduce the class of twenty twenty their centennial class and I am pretty diverse group here going in so what Mike let's run through some of these yeah and and some of these are so these guys are before my time so before your time as well some guys we saw a play so let let let's have a couple of these first Paul tag Lee boots and he was the the commissioner who took over for Pete Rosell he was the bridge between Roselle and die and Roger Goodell who we have today certainly the took the baton did a lot of good things for the game for sure yeah I get that now I'm not surprised I guess that he got in considering E. took it to a different level with TV contracts made a lot of money for the game took it into a different era yeah he's one of those it's like why do not in already yeah comic Marvin Miller yeah baseball I was a little bit surprised by that one or is it some other ones Donnie shall and and cliff tires are both a little bit before my time I I read you know I know the teams of Donnie shell played on a wood heater he was for the Steelers teams that were just absolutely spectacular are you know click Harris was a cowboy enough said so those two guys get in our let's run through a couple other ones he Jim covert I remember him with the bears as an offense of linemen I don't remember Bobby Dylan who was a D. back for the Packers Austin Dillon Tate today they made the right call Jack I was a beast yeah okay and we we was on the the body Packers of assuming yeah I'll wait like even before that it was like ten years before the merger all really okay yeah see played like late fifties and into the sixties mid fifties yeah okay all right so don't reach sixties they'll go back a little bit at New York Jets tackle Winston hill not that familiar with him but lions defensive tackle out Alex Karras who was a great player and also went on to be an actor he was in blazing saddles which Mike if you haven't seen it is an all time classic a movie that would never get made today because it's incredibly politically incorrect and he was the father in Webster which one of your favorite TV shows yeah Webster Webster and Bobby don't fill but Alex Karras is also said suspended for an entire season for gambling on football did you know that yeah early sixties yeah I miss the season are Scott Chicago cardinals this it tells you how far back that goes tackle Duke Slater goes into the hall of fame Cleveland Browns wide receiver Max speedy bears defensive and and sprinkle near giants GM George young who I remember he was a he was a guy who was there during the Parcells run when Bella check was it a says that when they had an unbelievable group of assistance there and he drafted very well guys like Phil Simms some guys really under the radar at large Taylor helped really kind of build that team cell George young goes and we know bill Cowher a Jimmy Johnson they they got their surprises on TV this past weekend what do you think of Calar I don't I think ours I don't think he's all famous hourly there I think is like the on this list of qualified to talk about this from worry lines up with my viewing yeah I you know I know he won one he got to another any was there a long time it's a great story because he's he's a Pittsburgh guy grew up there you know all that good stuff but what what's she in for longevity you know I mean I don't know I'm a a are they considering like contributions as a broadcaster to that kid I mean he's not that good only has been doing it that long what is your is on an hour a week yeah exactly yes I know it not look exactly are the interesting thing is that they they're some the hall of fame centennial class was selected by a special Blue Ribbon panel which included hall of fame board selectors league historians hall of Famers and bill Belichick yeah so there were thirty eight finalists were chosen from a list of three hundred nominees over the past five months and the hall of fame class of twenty twenty comprised of modern era players will be selected in Miami beach on February first the day before the Superbowl so you're wondering like the word the wise all these you know older guys well the the guys you probably saw play we you know we'll be getting in that cell that was that's the way that that that check out but shall I do go back to die shell for a minute now and I'll get to the reason why you wanted to do this for for a couple reasons but he's the fifth member of that steel curtain team Joe Greene mean Joe green Jack Lambert Jack ham Mel blunt and now dot a shell goes in from that Pittsburgh team but I am we should probably place for people again which we will little back but one of the coolest things I I heard was the the audio conversation between Harold Carmichael and and David Baker who's the the president of the pro football hall of fame but Carmichael goes and he was at all decade nineteen seventy selection when he retired he held the league record with a reception and a hundred twenty seven consecutive games he had a touchdown reception on almost fourteen percent of his career touches that's awesome any finishes his career with really good numbers in any near where you know again it wasn't like it is today where they pass as much as they did but in a plane thirteen years and really that's a little bit misleading you really play twelve years that thirteen year with the cowboys only played two games but he had almost nine thousand yards seventy nine touchdowns averaged more than fifteen yards per catch he was a stud and from nineteen seventy three to nineteen eighty two no receiver had more receptions yards touchdowns are games played that's pretty awesome do you wonder why it took that long but it was great to see him get and I'll tell you the other guy I mention this before we took time out they get send that never played a down in the NFL yet maybe had more of an impact than any name that we just right off that's the sable what NFL films did for the National Football League what which Steve sable date with his dad add both local guys and of course if you you know NFL films right over there mount laurel what they did to promote the game of football in the sixties when it was no where near the number one sport the country I mean you had baseball you a boxing your college football all ahead of professional football what they did to highlight the game to shine a different spot like to be creative in an artistic with the way that you look at the game utilizing classical music slow motion yeah replays you different camera angles you name it what they did to change the way that people look at the game was nothing short of remarkable and a and it's a shame that it's happened posthumously Steve got to win the Elbe doctors father into the hall of fame at the times the was battling brain cancer but for him to get in I thought was flat out awesome yes not he yeah got it back everything's under the contributions that side you have still to this day yeah I mean he tell me somebody who is more deserving I'm telling you AP is deserving is anybody so the one that I and I know Jodie touched on this when I was coming and I was listening to him and he's dead on about this it's a real shame and I I don't know if it's gonna happen former night I I I really hope it does but it's a real shame that I Joe Klecko didn't get it again this year if if you're not familiar with me you know when you hear Dan Klecko on our air doing eagles post games and and like you work with during the football season a damn good friend of mine but Joe was a great player he's a local guy grew up in Chester went to temple but was a phenomenal player for the jets eat play from seventy to seventy seven to eighty eight and the first Jeez for five years of his career the sac wasn't even cactus that so and he was a guy who literally you could play everywhere he played the tackle he played nose tackle he played defensive end you could move asides yeah you can move in every single place on the football field and all the guy did was the lever and and it's unfortunate because nose tackles indeed tackles are gonna put up monster numbers think about you know a guy like Fletcher **** could have a big game but because he's at being occupied by two tacklers or maybe is not getting a sack he's just he's creating the pressure somebody else gets the sack that happens often times you know but it it but a lot of those years even look like I was playing end they can keep the sack is that in other words like for example I seventy eight he was a defense of an I. seven eighty he was a defense of an eighty one he was a defense of that then he moved more inside your starting in in eighty two eighty three and the rest of his career but I know Gary Myers of Jody had on earlier in his show was a guy who really pushed for kind of the way ray push for for a tiny the Donald you know in a domino kind of pushed we double push for Dawkins yet Dawkins yeah double push for doc hold on which bush for Dawkins Gary Myers push for collect but it's he didn't get a ton of votes in the US and and that's you know probably not a great sign but I hope at some point they come to their their senses and and Joe Klecko gets and but that was that was the one that kind of stood out to me I know you know drew Pearson went on his his harangue about not getting in but that was one that stood out so what what it since we're on this Mike let let's play the Carmichael again so this this is it the audio of the phone call David Baker calling Harold Carmichael and letting him know that after all these years because Carmichael's but after this for a long time after all these years he finally got it my great grandma and to hear that you're gonna have a bronze bust in canton Ohio hello all men you're going to be a member of the centennial class and we're we're gonna tell you and keep your legacy alive forever yeah or what you're talking okay thank you great that's pretty cool I mean I think that's a genuine reaction right there what you got from hell Carmichael and it's it's well deserved you know this isn't just some sympathy vote that this is a guy who deserve to be at and your was ahead of his time in terms of the size and was versatile what could catch a long ball was a great are you know fade end zone alley OOP I could go over the metal versatile could do almost anything and you know play the game at six foot eight we came out of southern a small school and went on to have some great years for short was very good the playoffs still had amazing career so happy

"Morning after. LSU's national championship. Victory over Clemson We are still here in New Orleans. Bruce what what do you think will be your lasting image of the game you know. "Rest of the night. Here we go. Ready? I tried. I. Yes. Again, you're grinder Shep. I'll be more specific is. So can't drew Brees events a tough playoff loss last year. But he only did it throwing hundred twenty hours thirty twenty win road win against the Vikings. It didn't need to do much more. They're able to avenge what they needed to. You know, sometimes drew Brees doesn't have to throw for four thousand yards in a game. It's okay. Defense showed up got after Minnesota Kirk cousins, she still had a very good game statistically, but it just wasn't where they needed to be with the rushing game. Mark Ingram came to play alva- Kamera help them out. They just did a fantastic job in the offensive end the saints. Did they're six and one the roller getting ready to take on the Rams and four the Vikings at four three and one you're not at the top of the division. You're gonna mess around at someone's going to get you. It's still your division to take. It's still your division to win. And that means that you're playoffs to make. But we're halfway through you start messing around Minnesota next. Okay. Eagles needed a bounce back win. And they got it against the Jaguars Wentz. Thirteen T two picks. He is Baldwin. The Jaguars had opportunities to jump back in this game. And they did they had opportunity Stephen take the lead in this game. And they didn't I don't know what else to tell you other than Blake Bortles is not a good quarterback. And that's putting it lightly because I don't want to say anything because maybe his family might be listening over there. But I see Blake Bortles, and I see a quarterback that's holding you back, and I see a defense has talked to budget trash and Azziman able to back it up. You made one playoff run. Big freaking deal. You know, I sat here couple of weeks ago and I- dimed out the Seattle Seahawks. It talked about what their players were and talked about how selfish they were. You don't want at least they've won a Super Bowl. So Earl Thomas can give the bird and other guys can be upset about their contract situations. But they're naturally supposed to be that way. It's logical because they've won you've won nothing. Jalen Ramsey, nothing. It and finally it took up given forty to shut your mouth. But it's okay berry churches taking guys out out in London on Friday before the game. And then not paying your Bill. Will you anything in Jacksonville, let alone London? You think that you can get away without paying a Bill, please? You have lost your focus. You're losing games. You could lose your jobs, and it's looking even worse for your future. Three and five garbage most disappointing team in the NFL for the eagles. At least they have themselves a hangover, they can blame. But at least they got some heart and professionalism. You could learn from them next. Okay. Mitch Trubisky beat the jets ran for fifty one yards. Can no jet had more than twenty five bears. I wanna play bear down Chicago Bears. I wish we would have played at tonight bears fans. Rejoice you got yourself a quarterback Ryan pace might not be that crazy. You are at the top of the AFC north the NFC north, and guess what you get to do. You get the correct me on the of the NFC. And now you get to stand there like aren't Anderson. You can stand there bears fans it talk trash. Talk trash to the Packers. Talk trash to the Vikings talk trash to the lines. If you wanna get in the ring with the big dogs, then you're going to have to pay the fiddler next. I James was the Terminator can against the Browns. Twenty four carries one forty six yards and two touchdowns in the win against your Browns. I'm sorry can levian. You bet on yourself. You're messed up, and then you hurt the you hurt the market for some of the other running backs out there. You're messed up. Hey, I don't know. Keeps ask we can wins. Hugh Jackson, Yuli fired. I don't I don't know. The only thing I can tell you is that even when the has tried to do the right thing. They do the wrong thing next. Okay. Coach you shouldn't get fired put up thirty seven points against the bucks. Obviously. That's the Bengals Winston one four picks Dalton zero picks fits magic coming back in fits magic. This is what's up? This is what the problem is with James Switzer. You put yourself in a position where Ryan Fitzpatrick a beef. It's magic again. And I was going to go out there like Conor McGregor. Your problems your child. Your your silliness your stupidity off the field has put your team in a precarious position. And now it's carrying over on the field. And for Ryan Fitzpatrick. Who again, we'll do Ryan Fitzpatrick things as soon as the spotlight's on he will continue to fall. But if there's no spotlight on him. He can scare you for the Bengals take your win and run with it. It's been a little bit rocky over the last couple of weeks, but the Bengals were able to get the five and three at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who are now three and four have fired defensive coordinator and Dirk cutters, the only one left in and by the way with four hundred sections at a pick six as well. Yeah. You know, what's that? You haven't been able to get over the hump? Got to wonder about the old b word for Jameis Winston next. Right. She's beat the Broncos again Mahomes finished with three hundred three yards. And in other words, the sky is blue. All right. Well, you just basically took it right there. In other words, the sky is blue Patrick Mahomes chiefs. This is the seventh straight time they've won in mile high sensational next. Okay. Cam Newton beat the first ballot hall of Famer shade can Jim Harbaugh thirty six twenty one Harbaugh. Twenty six twenty nine over his last four years. Wait a minute. John harbaugh. John Harbaugh's the coach of the Baltimore Ravens. How I knew that. Panthers has had a surprising season. Because I thought the Panthers were going to be that great football team, and they play in a very tough. What was supposed to be a very tough NFC south. Now, the falcons are a professional football team. So I expect the falcons to still not go quietly into the night. But the Panthers are a very good five and two they just happen to be playing in the same division as the ever so dangerous New Orleans Saints, but the Panthers look out for him defense starting to come to fruition started like Cam Newton Newton things do and for the ravens I have to get it going again because four and four ain't gonna cut it in the AFC north or at least in the AFC to get yourself to the playoffs next. Well, Ken Redskins beat the giants at MetLife stadium. The giants are own four at home. Do I start taking the Redskins seriously or I just say you're the best of a bad bunch because the eagles are still sleepy. The giants are poop and the Cowboys. You know, how I feel about the Cowboys but the Redskins with Alex Smith in a typical Alex Smith game at twenty thirty two and one hundred seventy eight yards and a touchdown. But with Adrian Peterson for one hundred forty nine yards. I think the Redskins might be for real because they're gonna win that division. And that means they're going to go to the playoffs there. I said it I said it I feel better and also okay saquon Barkley thirteen carries thirty eight yards and seventy three yards in the air. Nice wasted day yet again, I love to say the stats because. Because it's just wasting. They're just wasting the young man, you should have taken a quarterback Dave next. Okay. Sea hawks getting into the groove ten dominant road win held the lion's thirty four rushing yards. Russell Wilson his credit give the defensive stand their credit shutting off the faucet going after Russell and VP type performance last year putting it on his shoulders again. He keeps the Seahawks flying. Next candy, one hundred dollar million dollar man is now on pace tat the worst franchise season ever. What are you talking about one their loss to the colts? Oakland Raiders now wanted to.

"The rules were receivers could get smoked if they ran across the middle three years drew Brees twelve thousand yards. This is the big ten. And this is like fifteen years ago. It was a running conference. Drew Brees twelve thousand yards. Baker Mayfield played in the past happy, big twelve, where I think the outlawed tackling about six years ago where everybody runs five wide in an offense where every quarterback puts up prodigious numbers. I mean produced never looked the same since drew Brees left. Oklahoma has a thousand yards of offense and the two games since Baker left even their college careers. One had twelve thousand one had twelve thousand. They weren't the same. Twelve thousand at Purdue is a lot better than twelve thousand Oklahoma. When you got NFL guys surrounding you, go look at drew Brees his teammates. Final the NFL guys on offense. Yeah, they're ups, drivers guy. So. I mean, sometimes it rob Ryan, and Trent Dilfer had this opinion on Baker Mayfield. I think it's very, very accurate. People want to compare them to drew Brees now drew Brees is one of the best pocket passers of all time. He looks like he wants to extend plays like Russell Wilson does, but Russell Wilson is a premier athlete. This guy's not going to be able to do that in the national football. So you watch the second half of the Georgia game and you can forecast what it's going to be like for the NFL. If he continues to play his style of football, which is the creative intuitive extend plays. It's not gonna work. He's not a good enough athlete to play that style of football in the NFL. So he's going to have to be a pocket passer, and he ain't drew Brees is a pocket passer and drew saying nice stuff could lose a good guy, but. I just cracked me up every European that can shoot is not Dirk Nowitzki stop it. And just because your name is Tom, you're not Tom Hanks even if you're an actor and live in the same town as Tom Hanks in your name is Tom and you act. You're not Tom Hanks joy, title the news..

Times it's losing teams top of that list Losing right right but, it's not because it's to them I think I think to the NFL and I think too many fans maybe most that's like the defining point there is that The three hundred yard passers, fans can pretty much just sort of. Blurred out to you how one hundred yard rushers. Mean you win and three hundred yard passers don't. Necessarily mean you maybe it means you lose but that's because of the score affects that's the only that's the bottom, line, on. This not because rushing is good and, passing his bed it's not at all because that is because of the score effects. Because losing teams throw the ball more if If you throw the ball more you should be better no matter who your quarterback is just that you should do it passing plays offer. More reward than running plays, teams tend to just not accept this. It's now that they wouldn't know it they just. Wouldn't think they don't think this way they think. You know racks McDermott is some version of him it's ball control field position you down physical all that. Stuff And all these years you know I. Know New England has Brady they still. Like they're the team for this they. Just throw it over you and win like you're just going well we played the game the right way we. Just don't have, Tom Brady how how is, that life going And in fact, this is again Warren sharp in me talking. About this it's even more important and his, his research has reflected this. That if you have a poor quarterback. That you throw the ball more. Because of how teams play you There's even more in it Sean McCoy and, like no good quarterback as the bills kinda BB will be, as this season gets going how'd you defenses play that team he just got to stop the running back So it's even more important that that team then a team with a, great quarterback throw the ball on first down, it's not just..

"Know we eat flashes here and there chad williams the third round her last year he had trouble kind of cracking the lineup maybe with a new coaching staff okay you know they had this tight end rookie field jones college wide receiver teammate with kirk i mean this little flourished where he looked like the best red co threaten the nfl for about three or four weeks so maybe he's kinda that counterpoint where okay you're not stacked that receiver but you've got this you know young horse at tight end you could be a pretty good pass catcher yeah and obviously the return of david johnson i think is the most important thing to talk about his team at any facet because johnson in two thousand sixteen twenty sixteen was one of the most dynamic players in all the league he's right up there with lady on bell the injury keeps him out most of all of twenty seventeen what do you think the expectations are for that team if he's healthy and sam bradford are healthy in that defense loses tyron matthew but baker's back there there's a lot of talk that he isn't really much of a step off from from tire matthew so like as as a team if david johnson's healthy where do they fit in in the nfc west yeah and if you have johnson and he's talked about it a few times thought season he says he wants to be a thousand thousand guy meeting thousand yards rushing thousand receiving i i don't know if marshall faulk did that or if you came close but i don't believe anybody else's is says approach that kind of production before but he hit mine he's going for two k and you know one k and each department which would be incredible path catching skills are topnotch she can do a lot in that in in the screen game you know the dump off all that kind of stuff he can run little arrow routes and all those things so he's sort of like a big receivers well but you know you need him to run the football too and and and take the pressure off whoever's the quarterback you know they made changes on the offensive line they've had some injuries there as well they bring in andre smith and you know dj humphries is back i don't know it's just kind of a mixed bag of a group right now you don't really know what they've got you know jared bell deers gonna denver so yeah i mean on the one hand i'd like to think that he's a good enough town of runner where he could produce even if this line isn't mauling people even if they're not the dallas cowboys but like you said the injury concern awful last year maybe setting the bar little unfairly high for himself but you always love to hear when a guy has that kind of confidence got eric at home here from pro football weekly on the at and t hotline so eric let's move to seattle and what was the legion of boom it's essentially all but gone i mean a shell of itself cancel retires richard sherman released now in san francisco earl thomas holding out from what we know for a new contract through training camp we don't know when we'll see him how competitive can we assume the seahawks defense will be i think are we know what they'll have also wilson on the.

"This is his name was dj chartres he served that'd be amazing meghalaya receiver to be as good as he has been at this young of an age says his talent is off the charts he's playing for a team that i think is going to have to throw the ball a lot more salt the second half of last year where big ben was pacing for five thousand yards of the second half after they lost ryan shazier for a second he's at in tonio brown was beijing for five thousand yards like that'd be really good sounds right so i looked at some of the breakdowns because you know he was a rookie last year right heap he was he registered as as a receiver playing in week one except he had zero targets zeros he wasn't he wasn't involved weeks two through sixteen the the rest of the whole season if you take his pace over sixteen games he would have had over a thousand yards and nine touchdowns that was the pace he was on as as a rookie then you look at okay how do you do after the bye week right that's one big ben went bananas when he started going bananas and he would have paste during that time for ninety three receptions and twelve hundred plus yards and then there was one other breakdown really was curious about martavis bryant week eight went out missed week nine how did he do when martavis bryant was off the field from week eight on here was his sixteen game projection ninety four receptions great for fifteen hundred sixty eight yards unbelievable and nine touchdowns and you might say accurately well big ben he doesn't really have a history of supporting to top in wide receivers which is which is accurate he doesn't usually have two top twenty four receivers but today's nfl it's very common in fact over the last several years teams the nfl average is four different teams that have two guys in the top twenty four oftentimes top twelve and i wanna interrupt you don't wanna take this swirling reality of juju smith schuster.
