Mm hmm. Welcome back. Thanks for staying on board. John McGuinness with the news. 93.1 kpk live everywhere in the I heart radio app And on your smart speaker going to get your calls here just a moment, I promise Bear with me, but I want to share some information out of this Sacramento bee expose that was actually published yesterday. And it did illustrate rather, clearly, the practice of governor nuisance pull what many have described as political graft and I think reasonably so. Involving his wife's business interest. The first family, the Newsom's have pocketed more than $2 million while serving in public office directly from individuals and corporations with business before the state of California. That sound like an abusive authority abuse of office. Uh, some excerpts from this article from 2011 to 2018. The nonprofit has paid civil Newsome. The governor's wife more than $280,000 per year, $2.3 million in all for her role of her leadership work and for creating three documentary films on Social justice. About that. And they also highlight a particular event that took place one evening. And direct quote from the article. The flow of corporate donations to Newsom's wife's nonprofit that night are part of a pattern. This is again very well spelled out in the Sacramento bee, which historically has I think then certainly not a nemesis to the governor Newsom more friendly Damn But as this, uh, recall goes on, and you've got some a couple of players in this recall that Had the capacity to spend their own wealth and one that's done a pretty good job of fundraising. If there was to be a consolidation of their efforts. At some point, they could actually use those resources to get the message out. And that could be a game changer. Let's get your calls. 803 4 15 30. Where are we going first? How about Nick in the Thomas? Nick? Good afternoon. Welcome to the conversation. Thanks for holding on, sir. Good afternoon, Sheriff. So great conversation. Got one today. Thanks, sir. I'm a little bit concerned about anybody that would actually want to vote to keep mean There's a lot of details that we tend to over month. Immigration issue. For one thing. We've got this this landscape down in Fresno Madera, Kings County areas where the landscapes been completely destroyed by this train to nowhere. There's no money to finish it. There won't be any money. 10 15 years or more won't be enough money I should say to finish it. Yet there's uh there's enough billions to be able to cut everybody had checked, Uh, they don't seem to be able to understand that this reparation movement he's got going on leads people to the idea that there's something coming and so his assumption of immunity just continues to feed his narcissistic personality. That people are buying into this when they need to open their eyes and see what we're all C Yeah, Nick, I think you make some excellent points. I'm waiting for you to say something to which I take exception to jump in and argue with it, But you're not getting there. You agree with what you're saying completely. But here's the reality. It sounds as though you you watch the issues pretty closely. It sounds as though you're well read well informed. And you have a passion for this business as you should. But my concern is it sounds like you're on the road. If you look around your your car right now, I think you're going to see a lot of people who are not engaged, and I don't mean this to be rude to anybody, but I think we are suffering from tremendous amount of apathy. And frankly disengaged voters, and there are a couple of things that happened. The closure of the schools. The French laundry, which which substantively I don't see is a big deal. But it's the hypocrisy that it displays and I think that hit a nerve with people. But much of which you've referenced. I think most people know nothing about you're absolutely correct about the the high speed rail. First of all, there's not a market for that. It really truly doesn't exist. Other parts of the world, Europe and China. They have high speed rail, and they're completely different. Fact patterns involved completely different ingredients. But here in California, you can get from the top to the state to the bottom of the state and very, very short order. And and any number of competitors that fly aircraft that the freeway system even though it's suffering some from some significant degree of deterioration. You can still make the drive pretty well. So a real demand for that level. That kind of transportation just doesn't exist. If it did, you would have venture capitalist jumping over themselves to fund it and make a profit on it, But it's just not there. So what this looks like now is is a very ambitious plan to build a rail that will get people from a little bit north of Fresno to a little bit of south of Fresno in a very, very quick period of time at an extraordinary expense. So you're absolutely correct. The, uh, the The handling of the school's overall look at the immigration issue in the States Fair to step up and support the federal government. Now, obviously, the immigration is the purview of the federal government, but the other border states have actually worked with the government. The extent the federal government's engaged these days to be a force to protect any number of people, including some of the migrants themselves, who find themselves in harm's way. But we haven't done that. And then we take our own. The Children of California citizens are not allowed in school. Yet at the this the the acquiescence of the teachers unions in conjunction with the state of California Actually allowed for in person education for immigrant kids illegally in the country without the benefit of any screening for Covid 19. So there's so so so much. The list is very, very long, and I agree with you. It's all right there, but again just take a little sample of the public. And not everybody is engaged in paying attention and listening, and I'm afraid that's where that's where decisions are made. So we're in a very, very unique period of time. We've never had access to so much information. Yet in my estimation, never a period of time in our nation's history, our state's history or society's history. Where people have been less inclined to seize that information. Of course, when they do in many cases, it comes with a with a substantial element of bias because people like to go to their home corner. And listen to and read information that generally tends to match their own bias. And it just I think we find ourselves in a in a ironically a very, very ignorant, uh, place, but I appreciate the call very much. That's it for me, as you can tell by the sound of the music, but stick around because you've got the lovely and talented kidney O'Neill coming up next with the afternoon news. I'll see you back here on Tuesday. Actually, I'll be out on Monday. Kelly DeMarco will be here, but I'll see you Tuesday have a great one. Building a better Sacramento news. 93.1.

"Switzerland for a lot of people That feeling is connected to the cow bell. I think, you know also Heidi Heidi Heidi, For example, it's a story about a Swiss girl growing up with their grandfather in the Alps. Everything gets like well, like the beautiful life in the Alps and you drink milk and your country code, red cheeks and the co bells are there. Some kind of a stereo type off a society where there are no problems where everything is beautiful. Where the sun is shining. Please make every little boy and girl in the world happy as I am. Amen. Hi. Dig Hi de Dinah Vincent's back. So when Nancy like, launched an attack that was like, do you think it felt like it was like attacking people sense of well being, and absolutely it's a declaration of war. Fine, coming coming to a foreign country. I first have to look how to thy life. And then I have to make the choice. Is that OK for me? Or maybe it's not OK for me A bit of if I'm coming in and tell you you have to life like I think it's okay. So it's a little bit strange. Yes, Um, this'll is Ursuline Mac sicken people said it's not okay, That's Nancy comes in and tells us how we have to do it. She's foreign person and She will tell us how to live, and that's not okay. Do you remember how you felt before your meeting? Make. It feels happen so people in the town are not happy about Nancy's cowbells stance. And in the midst of all this the night of Nancy's citizenship meeting arrives as he's been full Justice Thomas Nicks Lucifer's heart devices, Really, She's glad that she didn't know what she she didn't know. Then what she knows today thus far. Heart's core, like the whole thing with hardcore as she describes him. You know, it takes her an effort to go back to this particular night. Uh, most insightful search my TEEF, Uh, the night of Nancy Citizenship meeting she shows up at the school gymnasium. It's in the evening. There are rows and rows of folding chair set up, and there's one rule in the back where the perspective citizens considered and so Nancy walks in. She sits in that back row, and I'll say these meetings were usually like calm and pretty sparsely attended. There's like maybe 80 to 100 people. But this time there was twice that, like the place was packed. And the first thing that happened is they go through some administrative stuff like How much budget are we going to use to fix the road or like should we put a roof on the roller hockey rink? But then came the citizenship part of the meeting. I think they couldn't really control themselves. The townspeople just like kind of lost their cool people like like peasants, farmers, they would stand up and they would get angry and say, Well, that's not right. We're against it and The things that were said We're really surprisingly violent. They would get so emotional. I mean, the discussed was horrible. The atmosphere was very hateful was very loud and no, we don't want And this is Herbert. Most my life here in give him a break. I was astonished about the power off saying no, We don't run nowhere. Getting up yelling, saying she doesn't belong here. For me. It was a shame, and he got up at one point to speak on her behalf. I raise my hand and then I spoke and About it was way did not have any chance that would begin again in constant around loud stock, our ski boots, and apparently, the whole room just started booing him as lipstick. Mm. In God's Nambu and Nancy is there for all of this listening to everything People are saying, just sitting quietly in the back. This wouldn't be enough Zs Ophelia argumentative party onto the goodly getting in at this point in this family, people start speaking out against Nancy. Accuser of you know, like Egon mustn't earhole toe bring veganism into Switzerland. See skin targets Children. She's against tradition. See Stan inflicted motor. She's terrible Mother on. "Let me look at this scheme. Let me look at this. You know everything about these teams, but then you also include Vegas. Oh Yeah Vegas album at three point underdogs dogs. Treatment so there must be there. So. A Lot. They have. They have a lot of Bill Texas sitting in Vegas in the Wynn Hotel Young. He's sprays. I. Love You. So look they've read to me and I see the show I. Like you too much. Sorry go ahead. I love it. No. So the Seattle seahawks man, they cannot afford to win lose two in a row. They gotta get their Mojo back. Obviously, the defense is there yet. I think there are two or three weeks away from being a decent defense when the guys that's coming in and getting them up to speed and getting them back healthy Russell, Wilson won't throw another three picks in a game. So the Seattle seahawks with this amazing opportunity that they have this year to be a contender to win the super bowl they gotta get back on track right now. Seattle's gradients brandon because if they win their in I in the conference if they lose depending on how the rest of the week shakes out, they could be eighth in the conference on the outside looking in for the playoffs amazingly because it's so bunched up in the NFC but I'm going with a different team. I think it's been warling sakes. This should be the first game. They have Michael Thomas since week one not coincidentally week one was the only time. This year they've looked great in the sins Michael Thomas last played. The story of the NFL has seemingly been the surge of the Tampa Bay, bucks who play in the Saints Division. So I think the saints just to keep pays top obey Gronk in nears desperately need a win especially if they're gonNA to have Michael Thomas back on the field finally for the first time since. September eleventh. What wealth whatever the day that week one game was so I think new. Orleans because all of a sudden Tampa looks like a potential eleven twelve win. I'm going to go with the bucks here not necessarily for standings reasons for MVP reasons is a great opportunity, a Monday night for Brady to tee off on the giants where several offensive Lineman in quarantine this is going to be a huge game for Brady's GonNa light up the scoreboard and come Tuesday everyone's going to be like, wow, I think I think Tom Brady is getting closer and closer to that MVP talk maybe taking eventually taken over Russell Wilson. Brady's never out of the. Giants, I like it. Okay finish up. Let's finish up with Brandon see OPS now Russell Wilson in Seattle hosting division rival niners Sunday on Fox Russ again, coming off that brutal pick game against the cardinals still the MVP favorite though as of right now until of course, has wild mentioned Tuesday morning. So Brandon the player with the most to proven week eight is blank. this is a good one for the past few weeks. My Guy Nick has been texting me what's going on with Michael Thomas is this story I think there's something here brandon why isn't he practicing? He goes out the practice goes back into the locker room something fishy is happening. So I'm going with Michael Thomas Nick right called it a couple of weeks ago. We got to see this guy back into football. He's too big of a piece for this team and Michael Thomas let's go baby. Let's get back healthy. Let's get back Ri- and help your team win ballgames One, hundred percent it's a, it's very curious the situation there, and we'll see if it gets silenced a bit vs big game this weekend against that great bears defense but I'm gonNA. Go with Carson Wentz. Sunday night football's Cowboys Eagles and I don't know if anybody cares about the game it's amazing if I if I were laid five thousand to one against that was the day before a Sunday night football eagles cowboys game. We weren't GonNa do six blocks on it instead it's getting mentioned here not much else because both teams have been so bad. The cowboys statistically are the worst team in the. NFL. Not named the jets Carson Winston. has been a bottom for quarterback this year neither of those things would have been what you expected going into the season the cal bolt in there's excuses for both the cowboys lost stack might the coordinator eagles entire offense align receiving core is banged up Carson needs to have a good game if the Eagles can't win this division this year then those very quiet rumblings about why did they draft Jalen hurts starting to become a little louder. So I think Carson Wentz on national television is under massive pressure when he's up against the NUCCI. Likely for the cowboys to have a big game while. Likings packers coming up. I want to show you the most interesting thing I saw the Internet yesterday from Ben Baldwin and it's an Internet graphics not made for TV. So you gotta get very close to your television or follow Ben Baldwin twitter. This is second in long pass ry look it's the play you need to make do not run the ball and second law and look how good the seahawks are doing and they'd go way way down look at the likings a terrible way. So I WANNA know Vikings Organization. Zimmer, did you see this? We can't be dead last thirty second in Long. They have to throw it Mike Zimmer Cardis this graphic you have to throw it. You've got the most approved do not run it. You can be exposed via this graphic and Ben Baldwin. Wild spending. Time scouring the Internet.

I don't know I can't say all that speculative there's a lot of evidence what happened but I believe he was not incompetence is who would have wanted to cover this Who would've wanted to my father and oppy president? Well that I get to cover up the Sirhan Sirhan part of it. If you look at the investigation the police were deeply died into the and the reason for that is because every other police department in this country was trained at Quantico at the school in Quantico because there was a was a l. a. p. d. police chief very very famous Sullivan Summit. Was the police heat for many years if la La cool no Thomas Nick Gucci. But that's as far as deep as I go in. La Has Twenty twenty films. Eight of them confident off and on cars one of them and he hated hoover because he was actually conducting his own investigation the mob and it was embarrassing to Rookus Uber saying that Mafia didn't exist and he was getting Mickey Cohen. And all of these the mobsters in La so from the very beginning the Ele- he trained at the arm in Virginia And they go on extended leave in Latin America the CIA before coming back L. A. and serving as many police officers and also AH assets or officers. The officers the two officers who were brought back from Latin America to run what they call specialty units a senator to to the is ran the investigation. My there's there's two were both a agents and immediately destroyed and destroyed any evidence exculpate Sirhan for example they bullets or could be. No comparison was one very good intact. Butler it was removed from my brain and that bullet Is Never compared to the bullets that hit all the other people in the room and it was no trial. If you hope people won't remember this is a was kind of a show trial because us because Sir and was convinced by his lawyer who is also tied in with the mob was mafia lawyer. He was is told by his lawyer. You gotTA plead guilty or any other lawyer who had looked at the evidence. Read the autopsy report. WHO's all the ballistics report? It would have said we're GONNA fight this of those. Those issues came up plus. The police recovered thirteen bullets from Rhone. Sir has gotten only carry eight bullets and it was an opportunity for him to reload. How much how much sway do you? You have for the the review when he comes when it comes up I mean can you what your words mean. How are you now? Technically leave the parole department. He is not supposed to review guilt or innocence. Their only to be narrowly focused on his behavior in imprisons. Oh it's it's on a good form to bring those issues But I I imagine that like we talked about I think before arrive like Sharon. Tate's MOM would go down and show up for Charles Manson stuff as a presence to not get him paroled. I I guess is your presence. Your plus presence has to help to some degree I hope. Wow your sister thinks thinks that the case should be reopened. Yeah I believe Haitian K.. Just doesn't ever really been investigated eye-witnesses what what is what did they say. The folks we talked Rafer Johnson and say at Sirhan was always in front of other and at the closest oh says he came was five to six eight at his hand which was ended to warn. My father never came closer than three. There's footage you have after. He was shot. But nothing from before bit. Pieces of I'll thing is twenty five hundred yards autographs and the lease at the mall and destroyed. Wow is and also destroyed a lot of other evidence all the door jams and if I talked to them and ask them. Why did you destroy these short jams? You should tell Mike we need to buck Mulligan. What was his name again? The bump him Jesus Christ the notion that this times seems to has happened to you before your Before you entered the tenth grade of High School is pretty insane. I mean the two separate cases that have a lot of similarities and you were sorta sadly a front row seat to both of them at by the time you turn. Fourteen is pretty pretty incredible. You you've our family experience tragedy but we had a lot of resources varies on long family. Unreligious eighth we had a tremendous resilience than our family and we had a very big family and my mom used to always a not everybody takes their legs. You know there's a lot of we we were. We spent a lot of times. And Get us like Watson Harlem and in Bedford stuyvesant Compton where kids whose fathers had been killed others have been killed in Aden odd. aww kind of resilience. I'm would constantly remind an I think it was something that was also. Also you know for me that our country because after our country really took a completely different different direction and I think one of the seminal moments in American history breath in nineteen sixty and when President Eisenhower one of the most important speech is the most important is probably the most important American he warned. America domination the Military Industrial Complex Right and that would rob us of our democracy and it would destroy democratic institutions. Turn us into a national security security state and what he's an uncle I don't want my grandfather consistently. Joseph Kennedy isn't that you cannot have an imperial's it abroad and still have a democracy at You have to make choice and Eisenhower was telling us that and my uncle out the primary driving. Preoccupation of his presidency at we could not we had to stay out of wars abroad and NAT We could be the policeman of the world. We should not be operating bases that we should support democracy but we were not going to and young Americans over to blatant. I've other people's you know adults. And when he died I'm one of the first. I am back. He was nationals or to thirty seven which passed and signed in August in nineteen sixty three ordered all American advisors out of America would have been out of it. Non By the next Johnson came in and made it into our war and then father was running against war and his death catapulted into the White House and again Nixon escalated the war. And you know there's been a series of national traumas at ahead of us on the road to becoming an imperial Asian a national security aide and a garrison state at home and we're all living with the consequences of that every time you go to the airport and the reason that's part of the cost that choice and it was a series of national traumas pushed us down that road and we didn't have to go down there and one of them as my uncle. My the thing you you you got an eleven you got on an airplane when you heard about this news was the vice. President's airplane reading came to California from where I was in Washington shot he was alive. You well how long after he was probably ably got there at ten o'clock at night maybe later I are in the middle of the night so I was. I don't know and because you know the time difference you've got there in the middle of the night and night sitting next to at the Holding his and and he was on on a respirator at the time hit black is like somebody hit him and he had his head bandaged. And my mom's at with on I right and US kids. The older kids came in traded positions. Every half hour Owen held his hand and he died probably around five or six morning story. Jason and there's nowhere to go from from from there Wow I you know. It's something I hadn't thought about a long time. And I seen you know heard bits and pieces that seen some Ford Edge and known that there was some rosy grier and that kind of stuff but I just never really took a deep dive into this Sir Hans Attorney Johny rallies attorney and Johnny Rizzoli mafia kingpin. who was link? who was? Hi this is William Harvey to recruit Amgen car traffic. Dan Call US ourselves into the assassination programs rams for Cuba so at that time John Own the cat the track was hidden on her of the. I'M A horse. Track or hand worked and Sir hand was getting hypnosis lessons at a track and then very well documented matted and then he was wasn't in the friars club trial was very famous L. in San Francisco let's go in La because Rozelle Valley's mob on the friars club and they had all cameras and peoples of the poker tables able so that they were looking at all these famous movie stars they were able to see their hands and fixed the game and that got caught and it was and the the attorney in that case who was was. La's attorneys somehow hold the secret. Grand jury deliberations in the case very valuable resource for him but it was completely illegal. I got caught clearly. He got them from the mafia when he would not give them up and he was as the same jail time and revocation of his life sentence when he was persuaded to represent end Sirhan and he came in and represented Sir on. It basically told us her hand. You GotTa think I've he was They they've brought the death penalty originally for him. Ryan I am. I am Lee returned to the judge asking them not to have the death penalty. I also so I. What are the chances? Do you think he'll ever be a freeman. I I hope so. I mean he's relatively young for a three hours with him talking with them you know. And he's he's on. It was an interesting experience. Very I'm it was a very sort of his. His posture is speculation or very kind on and breath amiable and he cried when I was talking to him is he spent his entire adult life behind bars is he is he. I'M NOT GONNA ask rehabilitated. Feed and he is he is he found Jesus Christ as he have busy a certified. Well they're like. is He doing things back. They're able to talk about like what he might do if he gets out the ordeal get into that style. He's retired eventually he's is what is the five thank you. He was gonNA come out and be in out teaching shops. Ah recently probably ABC throw Scott. No I did not know that. I'll reason with that. It was about a month ago. Jesus is he still in. He's not general. Pop is he. He wants to in general. Because the you know I it's it's so lonely an insane to be in and a solitary I up to and I and I was the attorney in two thousand one for ten thousand people on vehicles on the island of vehicles is author of Puerto Rico and I against the navy bombing at an island and one point in the litigation we won the litigation. The judge judge refused bomb in the forties or something they were bombing in two thousand one and we try to get an injunction. After we had one case we had a judge who was crooked judge who would knock. It must the injunction they mayor the town asked me to Indians. And Eddie almost I I am a big union in America all and I don a boat and went to the life fires on all the maybe it was. The punchline is all locked up and we were in jail Earth thirty four days in maximum security prison in Puerto. Rico I am AH I. Three days in solitary confinement and I can think of punishment I mean I would rather be you know. Have a bond broken then you..

"Your house. Band was a little loud that year Last year at the draft little bit little noisy But that was the latest first round. Pick for the forty niners and now when you look at that defensive front they get five first round picks up front. You have to invest in where your priorities parties are. Meaning you have to invest in what you think The best way to build your team to be a champion and we've talked about it repeatedly like the Marquis positions almost team team building processes somewhere pass. rusher is important inside or outside. You have to have guys that can affect the quarterbacks who have quarterback is the first piece. The second piece of the puzzle is a dominant pass rush because you have to knock him off the mark and what the forty niners have done this is some of this is before the John Lynch areas. They've invested in the defensive line on Eric. Armstead deforest buckner. Solomon Thomas Nick Bolsa. All first round picks when they made the move to acquire of in and get D.. Ford they were able to get another first round pick So when you think about the collective talent is in that room being able to have blue chip players at every one one of those positions and knowing that the natural competitor that each of these guys have inside of them they're going to push elevate each other because it's a race to get due to the quarterback the forty niners in my mind are built in the vision in which John Lynch saw his own personal success and Tampa Bay when you go back look at Tampa Bay buccaneers teams. There were able to win the one that was the most dominant warns up. Siemian rice they were able to dominate upfront. The easiest way okay to play great defense is to be able to win with Your D. Line so you can play maximum coverage behind the San Francisco. Forty nine is one of the few teams that are allowed or or are able to do it with their D. Line. Just running twisting games a front with out really needing to blitz and add extra rushers. It really makes them very difficult to go against because they have maximum coverage but also have a maximum rush because Gaza. Just better than your guys up front. Yeah they've invested heavily in that defensive line and when you look at their top twenty two who snap leaders offense defense here so the top twenty two how they were acquired ten of them in the draft nine through free agency and waivers and three through trade so when we go through the draft. We talked about the first rounders. But you find any good team when you're sitting there atop the division. We know the forty niners football team. Two first rounders Lot of impact. Act there with those defensive Lineman but outside the first round you get George kiddle in the fifth round Fred Warner who had huge game against the seahawks is really one of the better off. The ball linebackers. Right now he it was a third round pick Greenlaw had a pick last night. He was last year he was a fifth round. Pick we've seen deebo Samuel come on early. He's a second round pick so finding some guys outside the first round. They've done a good job there and then to me but when you look at undrafted free agents couple of key ones that breed up. Who's been a good player for them? Kendrick born has been a solid contributor so finding some guys after the draft and then if we go the other two categories free agency you know Robbie. Gould didn't play in that ballgame in. But there's a an excellent pickup kicker cow US check. You remember how you shake was signed. Arab gave him grief for how much they paid a fullback but that was them knowing exactly how they were gonNA I use them. They had a plan for him and it was a big hit there with us check and then I think we touched on Garoppolo obviously with the trade there but a couple more deferred you. You mentioned Emmanuel Sanders this year. Coming over and Lincoln Tomlinson. Who's been a starter so using all the avenues to build your team? Yeah I think that's a common denominator. I think you have to be able to use all forms of team building debtor available to you so some of that is drafting develop. Some of that is being able to look at the waiver. Wire and figure out what guys guys best fit your system and then using free agency or the trade market to be able to I guess feel the biggest holes on your roster San Francisco the forty niners have been able to use all aspects of building their squad and is one of the reasons why they are sitting right now at the top of the NFC because they have a very complete team a team that doesn't have a lot of glaring weaknesses when you look at them. And I believe I'm doing this right. Three first rounders on the offensive line as well. So you've got both tackles Staley and mcglinchey and she and then the trade for Lake and Tomlin was a first round pick with Detroit. So that's that's common denominator often. Common Denominator Foundation has to be intact. We talk about building. A house. House to house is built in this wrenches. And so you right then are talking. Eight first round picks between the starting offense and defensive lines It's not a it's not a coincidence listed able to dominate by running the ball and also by getting up to the basket. Because that's what the transplant allows you to do. Let's let's switch over to the Seattle seahawks and how they built their roster and manatee. What in the draft outside the first round? They've been money with the sixty nine th pick in two thousand fifteen. NFL draft the Seattle seahawks. Tyler Lockett wide receiver. Kansas State love this kid absolutely absolutely love this kid. He can play inside he can play outside. The only knock on inside is gone. He's one of those guys. That's both quick quick and fast. He is a perfect guy for Seattle. There you go mayor talking about the selection there Tyler Lockett in the third round in Buckeye. I mentioned outside the first-round let me give you first of all big picture with their roster doing the same thing we do with Seattle Forty niners of their top twenty two leaders and snaps here. So you've got thirteen through the draft So three more than the niners thirteenth drafts. Six through free agency waivers in three via trade so same number guys in the Trade Avenue Vanu but a little bit a little bit more there in the draft and I go outside the first round with some of these names. Let me give you the names outside the first round. TJ right fourth-rounder Bobby Wagner Second Rounder Russell. Wilson Third Rounder Lockett. Third Rounder Jarran Reed. What a big game tonight Second Rounders Shaquille Griffin third rounder. Chris Carson their lead back seventh rounder. Trey flowers played a lot of football for them. Fifth Rounder Metcalf Second Rounder. That is a lot of impact players. They've found outside the first round. And you know y works at Md.. Jay It works because they have a developmental plan where everyone is in agreement the personnel staff and the coaches agree and how they want to develop develop their players. meaning that Some of the success that we're seeing from the SEAHAWKS It's not only drafted develop is just quite frankly develop they develop their players. Ah Yes They put him on the practice field. They have a plan for developing them and then more importantly they put them in games. You alluded to p carols and his time back. Se where he would throw the freshmen in with star unit to see if they could swim in the deep water and he found out. Oh some of these guys can swim where it's the same way they go about their business us in Seattle undrafted drafted. It doesn't matter how you come in. If you're a guy that has the potential to play. They put you on the field to see if you can play and then that only today put you on the field and see if you can play but each and every day they work with you individually to develop you from a fundamental standpoint. What does he do you? Offensively and defensively isn't complex because of the simplicity in what they do from schematic standpoint. They spend most of their time working on fundamentals when you work fundamentals in the National Football League when everyone else is worrying about scheme your players get better and so we see the evolution of these players who were good athletes because we talked about athleticism in instincts. Now they've been developed so Nanna have skill mastery. Now you seeing seeing the really good players pop like Richard Sherman who became a really good player out of nowhere goes on becomes a key member of their defense breath. Now is in San Francisco but the examples we've seen on and on and on and on with the Seattle seahawks have been able to develop their own players in their player become stars within their system. mm-hmm because dear rear within the system they learned the fundamentals in there really good players playing in a very simple scheme that works for them. One of the things you just hit on it. So good book is. This team hasn't changed so they have an identity. They know what works they know what they want. And that doesn't change you WanNa talk about having roster retention and having a chance to to build a long sustained program well you keep things the same. And that way people don't fall out you get new coaches new schemes. Come in all of a sudden these three or four guys were good players previously but they don't really fit us so he ended up losing some of them and you're constantly having to replace in rebuild and restock. There's none of that there. They they've been doing this same System looking for the same traits the same core values in players for so long that when players leave the organization. It's because they don't want to resign them or that it's time mm for them to move on. It's not because they don't fit and that is a huge advantage that consistency that you have there with this scheme and and I do want to talk. Talk about the trades here for a second and we can Get to the big one. We saw have an impact the other night Because this has been huge for their team. What they've been able to do in the trademark none bigger than.

"I actually think it will. I think that we're gonna find out that while zeke has been front and center of these contract negotiations that quietly they have been making major progress with dak prescott. I think it would be the type of gamble. I cannot remember a player taking in recent n._f._l. History for a guy. That was a fourth round pick. Who's never made real n._f._l. Money saying i will play for two million dollars this year with no dollars guaranteed into my future whatsoever however instead of taking whatever the cowboys last best offer is so while i think zeke will get done in the next. Call it thirty six hours. I think jack gets it's done before they kick off sunday. How could take the field when he's got seventy five million dollars so offered to him guaranteed as opposed to even if he's trying to get that up to eighty five so i think they do get it done with regardless even if zeke sin. You're not gonna see one hundred percent zeke this weekend correct. I do not think you will okay. Let's talk patriots wide receiver rookie nick. He'll harry was placed on i._r._a. Allowing for the team to resign to marry his thomas nick you trust this patriots. Receiving core had an into week one well. I think that the nicole harry injury and him being on i._r._a.'s brutal for the patriots in this regard. They did something they've never done. Spellcheck spin their take receiver in the first round and now they're not going to see him for at least two months of the season. It's the second straight year. Their first first pick of the first round goes on. I r last year's isaiah win loss for the whole season this year nicole harry loss for part of the season at least now when they cut marius we thought he might be coming back that proved out to be the case the the hinge player for the patrons. Even core is going to be josh gordon win. Josh gordon is out there i do do this can be a dynamic receiving core elements and excellent slot seaver..
