Call ted danson stuff like that Do you or any of you are going to say sam but Keira and nikki complain a lot. Is anybody favorite last line from a movie. Because that's how i close the show these days i. It's tough to beat apocalypse. Now what's the last line in that one bug. Colonel kurtz voiceover. He just says the horror the horror you know what i bet you. I've done that one array. I should have started some sort of database to keep track of which ones i've done but i feel like i did that last week. Malmaison or a couple of days ago. He was on the bonus. Bonus episode and He he said the lines multi spoke in the stuff. Dreams are made of But the line is actually like starts with a. I think so funny. Because he's such a such a good line but it starts with That's facebook dreams for me. I take it back. I wanna go with an i. Don't know the line verbatim but it's the last spoken line of dialogue from the movie. Twenty twelve because this huge action movie where the world pretty much ends the last line of dialogue. i'm reasonably sure. Few years is john. Cusak and amanda pete's daughter who's probably like seven or eight years old proudly telling her father no more pull ups because she kept wetting the bed. Wait so the last line of the movie is no more pull ups. I believe it's like no more pull. Ups are no more or whatever it is. She's the last line of dialogue. Is her telling her dad that she doesn't wet the bed anymore and doesn't need the you know large child diapers. I've already forgot what movie we're talking about. Only twelve twenty twelve. Oh yeah of course Remember that twenty twelve. Wow that is that's the thing i've been discovering. Is that so many movies. Have the most mundane last line that it's actually. It's pretty funny. But i came up with kind of a found kind of a clever one for today because the last line of jaws is actually. It's a pretty good line especially if you know you know the story so thank you for suggesting that though i'm gonna look that one up in maybe say on a future episode once again. Let's hear it virtually for charac lake at nikki bonn. And the ma'am levine. Thank you for being here thanks. Doug is awesome fun times. Yeah as always. I used to hate water. "Reese thomas nicholas lloyd and jeff anderman else who appreciate the one time gift from scott greenberg via paypal. Some of you who follow podcasting may have heard last week. That apple is launching a new platform that will allow podcasters to charge a fee to their listeners. Please rest assured that. I have no plans to put the american revolution. Podcast behind a paywall. As i've said many times. I wanna make the story available to anyone who wishes to listen. I really do appreciate everyone who has voluntarily contributed either through ongoing support on patria on or one time gifts via pay pao then mo or other ways that help me cover the cost of this podcast. The apple announcement. I fear is another step toward consolidating. Podcasts i'm not surprised that big tech is looking for ways to make money from podcasting. Unfortunately it may mean that independent niche podcasts. Like the american revolution. Podcast we'll tend to get pushed. Aside in favor of celebrity podcasts. Orb other shows that may have a broader appeal. Sadly this is the way of every new form of media that has ever come along. I really hope though that indie podcast can still attract an audience and get the support. They need to remain viable. I also one quick correction a couple of weeks ago. I started talking about the iroquois tribes and referred to the oneida tribe listeners. And for me that once again i botched the correct pronunciation of a word. It is in fact oneida. I've been trying to be more careful about looking up pronunciations. But this is one of those words that i've read in books for so many years that i just kind of assumed i got it right without looking it up again. This is the price of learning from books and not getting out and talking to people more so this week. We saw the departure of admiral richard. How his brother. General william how had returned to britain months earlier. I'm still a bit perplexed. About the circumstances surrounding admiral.

I just said We'll thirty seven. Start off taking a picture of tara reade and then her bodyguard pushed me But it was pointed out to me. Back in the studios by darren that my My guest thomas. Nicholas thomas in nicholas e data terry in american pie so six degrees of what have you there. One eight hundred eight seven eight play. Let's get it in and let's get it heard Going back and believe me. I will not be talking about the super bowl tomorrow unless unless something comes up but one of the more stupid things that i've seen is the fact that patrick mahomes mom blaming the wraps randy mahomes tweeted out. If you have to let the ref on your team is really winning once again if you have to have. The ref on your team is that really winning And then she put a bunch of laughing and goofy faces so she's basically saying that the bucks won because they had the officiating crew on their side Former nfl raftery. Akali tweeted out. That too with the defensing holding calls on kansas city. Probably shouldn't have been called because they didn't come close to the standard that officials have been using which is true. But it happens everything. I mean the chiefs were basically the people. Tell me this is like a raider game and it was like a raider game because the chiefs were just getting a million penalties and sucking on offense that was a writer and the chief scott a penalties for ninety five yards in the first half which is the most penalty yards in any first half in super bowl. History and chris jones the fence alana for kansas city. After the game said i was very surprised at all the penalties. This is the super bowl. Usually you let the guys play especially in the biggest game of the year. Penalties can change the game in the end hundred and twenty two yards and penalties for the chiefs. The bucks had four flags for thirty nine yards. John said i mean penalties cost the game either way. Only the referees can call the penalties so the penalties affect the game one thousand percent. Can i'd say we have a lot of penalties today. I didn't see anything where we need to change rules. You know there are a couple of times to me. There was only one where i thought i. That's not holding. I mean come guy was like ardy on his way down and a guy at his hand on his shoulder. But i didn't see anything wrong. I was like wow. You gotta be kidding but patrick mahomes was not like his mom. He gave credit to the defense and He said they took away our deep stuff. They took away the sidelines and they did a good job of rallying to the football making cockles. We weren't executing early miscues guys on the same page credit to them. Deploy a heck of a game defensively on offensively to be us so now. He's going to have to convince his mom. It wasn't the officiating crew that led to twenty two point loss. But as for randy mahomes tweet which she did put out a tom. Brady's parents are a class. Act thank you for your words. Take a picture with them. And by the way patrick mahomes mom like if you squint your eyes. You'd probably think that's pat mahomes girlfriend. I mean she's a. I'll give credit. She's very young looking blonde lady but remember in know. Jp yeah you know me. He made some statements during super bowl. Week that have made the rounds and none of them compared to what he said about patrick mahomes because he made a bold comment when someone said How are you gonna be able to beat a twenty five year old and an mvp and he said easy. If i get patrick mahomes everything will be good. So i ain't got to prepare for patrick mahomes. He got to prepare for me period. This is about to be show. You got the goat tom. Brady you got patrick. Mahomes the chapter ends like this. Jason pierre paul making history. I'm going from my second super bowl. Who's going to stop me although it is And he was talking with nate burleson. Who's on my show a couple days ago as well on. Cbs but he said a broken neck is when i truly found out myself as a person maybe realize you can have it all then bam in a blink of an eye exchange and he's talking about that car readily he was in of course he blew off fingers fireworks. But you talk about back in a statement back it up lowest career passing rating. But he ever had. Now there's a. There's a difference between. Because i heard somebody saying. Oh he's like golf now now now. He's not like golf. Saw the bright lights in the super bowl and either a didn't step up because he was scared or be just showed his true quality which isn't as high as we thought. Adam mahomes does was not scared. He was not shy. He was running for his life. He had people covered even when he did have time. And there were times they'd set up a pocket. A good pocket is not gonna last more than two two and a half seconds one to you should have thrown it. You'd have like a three second pocket and everyone's covered. I think i gotta take off now. So it's not like it was just the pass rush. They were covering people to. Which is you know i mean. That's pretty huge. But yeah it. It's not the same as he did. A he did a goff. But here's the thing about j. p. p. which i think is an amazing stat for him. He's never lost a playoff game. He's been in the playoffs twice. And he's eight and eight now and the bucks finishing as i said with those sacks eight three sacks a pressures tampa bay is the i team in nfl history to defeat three former super bowl mvp's in consecutive games drew brees aaron rodgers after mahomes and he look pretty oppression and pretty confident. You can back up what you said. But the side of the road with people making guarantees is much more strewn with people who were wrong.

Mm hmm. And that was one of those where it's the line in the sand toe. Where Bella check probably said to Tom Brady and no uncertain terms are maybe quietly in his mind said Go ahead. Go down to Tampa. See if you succeed without me. I'm sure Tom Brady in his will said something go down the Tampa Bay. I'll take that team to Super Bowl. Yeah. And someone smiling down Someone's Grimacing. And if you look when I went to the Bucks Packers game it Ray J earlier this year. There were a lot of patriots 12 jerseys in the stands. Yeah, And if you look at that the instagram and Twitter timeline he of Thomas Brady Sienna middle name Uh, let me look it, uh, bright. I made up one last time. We did this e. I don't even remember Thomas Nicholas, his full name. Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr. Where's goat? I don't see goat in there anywhere. You should just license that get a copy of it was like Bradley Bradley Bradley Breed to imagine that would be terrible having a name Bradley Brady. It doesn't matter. He's made it all work. Yeah, So I mean good for him. And the one thing that I've think has been Tremendous on his part. Forget about this being his 14th championship game, Whether it be in the city where he was in 13 of them. This would be the 14th year on the NFC in his first one of the NSC, Um And all the Super Bowls that he's been a part of, and the championships that he's won. He has made the effort acceptable. He really has threw all his stuff where it's l F G to where you're seeing, like, you know, normally Oh, Betty, homemaker who's who gave up her Mike Alstott jersey for Tom Brady Jersey these days is as tweeting out l F G. Everybody was so excited when they realized that he used the F word right, like a choirboy actually is like one of the bad boy. You know he was someone a bad way because look who he's married to hell. He's not keeping that happy without having a bad side tube. Mm. Right. There is just looks too good to me like he's like, so preppy preppy. I mean, it works, though. You gotta admit to play in the NFL is a quarterback at the age of 43. So he's playing on 21 years. You've got to be tough. No pussies. Get the last this long. Yeah. You know Brett Farve wasn't that good at this age. I think what Tom Brady's I mean, if anything right as much money you see made football. He's preaching the TB 12 method, which talks about pliability and diet, and if you look at him, I mean, it's disgusting because he doesn't look 43 dozens. They put that picture out last week of this guy who used to play football for the Raiders. The Oilers back then it was George Blanda. He played till he's like 48. Like the last 12, But the last 10 years he was a kicker. So I mean anyone who kick Yeah. I mean, you're right. We don't fence Tony Park. You can't No, no, he can't. But I mean to last that long to be 48 years old still cake and that's when you know the goal Post was right on the goal line. So field goals weren't as hard as they are today. Having said that I could never be an NFL kicker. However, you look at Tom Brady of 43. He looks like early to mid thirties at best. Maybe a good 29. No, I know. Play. I stop. Don't be silly. Ha P e. I would say that. But I said may bid 35 36. He doesn't look 43. He still got that youthful, disgusting, handsome face is still pretty so pretty and Yeah. I mean, it's not like that Sounded like you know, he doesn't have a football player body. He just has. He has the body Almost. And this isn't a knock. This is actually a colored. He almost has the body of a hockey player. Hockey player, Vory lead, very muscular, lean muscle just very well put together, but I mean, it's amazing what he's done, and we said we talked about yesterday and bone fantasy live in China being myself. They brought him down here just for this to go to games like yesterday to win games like yesterday. I think when the bucks signed him, it wasn't that like, Hey, we're just gonna get him in. Hey, I hope we make the playoffs. I'm sure that was like it. The minimum hope we make the playoffs. Think now they're saying this is why we signed him. We signed up for games like yesterday to change the culture in the locker room to do things to attract players like Leonard Fernet, Rob Gronkowski and a B And it's just like it's it's just Phenomenal What this area's going through. It will energize the area just like the Lightning did the Stanley Cup. The Bucks win on Sunday in Green Bay, Man If you thought last year during the Stanley Cup playoffs, and the euphoria that surrounded the Tampa Bay Lightning and rightfully so, the lightning out of all the major sports teams and the ones here in the area, the lightning or my team love that team. It's all I mean, like, literally. I don't have any other Jersey accent lighting jerseys. Have a buck shirts you haven't grown up with, but I don't. I'm not a big jersey where a guy but lightning. I have a whole bunch of stuff. I have a lightning license plate. I've been flying the lightning flag him until the football season's box flag up. It's just I think it's but if you thought this place went bonkers with the lightning going a cup last year, if the buck should win Sunday, this place is gonna be red and pewter and maybe even some cream, sickle and The Bucks are gonna be flying high that when this area had the team doing well in the late nineties, early two thousands, there was nothing like it. It was a fevered pitch There was you couldn't look anywhere without saying But someone like you who doesn't know anything about sports knew about the bucks back then. Well, and I watched them back then. So I was all into back then. So this is the kind of stuff that would galvanize the community. And the great thing is, is that even though If they win Sunday, and they play in the Super Bowl here. It's more talk about this area in this region, and it's great. What I say It's the best advertising you could do because people from up north yet they want to get out of the crappy weather in the Northeast. Are the upper Midwest or where the Kansas City like we were talking about before this place is awesome. I mean, even in the worst of times a winner. It's really not that bad. I mean, we think it's called. You know those 42 year degrees of people like starting a little Started. Can't deal with this loving me. I sleep with the windows open, but the fire pit out in the back, But I mean, this is a great opportunity for the bucks to really showcase the area. Showcase everything we have. If they make the Super Bowl in their home stadium going against Buffalo or Kansas City, this place will be on its frigging ear. Listen, ma'am is, um yeah, I'm looking forward to Sunday should be a great time. And the buck should do. I don't know I'm not. I haven't studied enough and looked at enough..

"Tin Band which I was I I laughed at but then I realized it's his initials Thomas. Nicholas Band Bam on. He's a musician. He has a band. He has a Patriot he is doing all this stuff and he's they just came out with a new album I didn't listen but you could play a clip here. I wonder if it's good will singer and he was kind of funny is that in some of the projects that he does when he's still acts occasionally he pulled the tiffany amber theissen meaning he dropped the end. So in some of his projects, he's just Thomas Nicholas which I don't really. As, he went from having three first names to having to first names and it doesn't really work for me. It doesn't I was GONNA say it's it. The ESPN actually helps sort of soften the edges of having to first names don't write three hills exactly what I said Ya. And he's in his one of the most recent movies that he's in this movie called adverse. That's coming out this year that clearly was like kind of delayed and whatever because of cove it is a very who we film I thought. You know it has not just him as the lead, but it also stars Lou Diamond Phillips, a classic Sean Astin. Mickey, Rourke and Penelope and Miller Jake t Austin member from this pot. Why? How is this? Again. I was going to say, okay. Well, here's the thing. First of all, this cast is like straight at Nineteen ninety-six but yeah. I was GONNA. Say Thomas and Nicholas has like the best case scenario and Andrew Pecans the worst case scenario is Andrew Keegan part of Nexium is interviewing totally on no no no, that's false. That's false. Andrew Keegan did briefly have a colt that or cult over the other call, but it was sort of like the. Be called it was. Really Yeah it wasn't like a bad. It wasn't. It wasn't a screwed he was like weird and A. Next rests no no no it back. He got a lot of press for like that reason where he was like Oh, we have a house in Venice and they're like we come and do. Like Meditation and then. Co Wallich Ray. Right. He definitely got the press for that but it wasn't. It wasn't nexium. But anyways, they're all in this movie that is like about like drug something. So it's a neo noir interesting right but it's definitely like Vod kind of project. What's her name come on? What's her name? The girl from? Iraq, who then became the Disney Star Oh I carly carly, and then the the mean where she's looking at the computer and just interesting that's me Oh. There's a new neo noir out starring. Mickey Rourke and Penelope Ann Miller interesting. Right like that's kind of the that's exactly how I feel too. I'm sure people will watch this like it's definitely the right genre for an for vod film. Movie speaking of Neo Noir is the movie that I tunes and Amazon keeps recommending I watch and like it's like now rentable for nine dollars in the next week, it's like for four dollars and it's like the ninety nine cent rental of the week Arkansas. What is that? It's like Vince Vaughn and the him the other Hemsworth no, it's not the terms with Liam Hemsworth and they're like in Arkansas. What are they doing there? I don't know. But one of the letters of Arkansas is a skull. So I feel it gets dark. Yeah. Anyway movie just came up for me recently, the Eva Eva with chastain. What is that movie? I don't know what is that. It's a movie called Avon. It's ours Jessica chastain and the posters like her in the middle of the I'm telling you right now the movie things are so confusing it's like up his down right now like even true movie heads are like what's going on like because the Vod's getting mixed in with the real stuff is is very confusing whole. The most annoying thing is like some vod quality ship that's going to actual theaters and it's like, no, no, no Sir I wanNA watch the Russell Crowe. Movie where he hits road rage at my house I, don't want to have to Canadian theatre to watch it like why are they were leasing? Why are they releasing the Russell Crowe gets road rage movie, which is the most vod thing. I've ever heard in theaters during cove it and not on I tunes for nine dollars because I would pay nine dollars to watch him go crazy a truck, right? So No, saying that's a very confusing. So the other interesting thing about Thomas Nichols or Thomas English. Nicholas Thomas Nicholas is that his wife is this woman named Dj Colette who is Dj? She had a bunch of dance records and albums and one of her songs was on the devil. Wears Protestant. Would you play it because I can't? Do to my Internet being down yet again. What song is that I don't really recognize it from the movie I've Seen I've the movie a million times I'll recognize. When IT COMES I know what it is. It's the moment that she like comes home or something if. Adrian Grigny is like an agent grenades light. Your six now like a scene where he realizes she's sexy for the first time because she's Wearing the like the expensive lingerie from. Gotland. Will. Yeah. I. Think that's when it is. You have to fact check that. That's That's fucking crazy I will. Location of this song. Hi, this is future bobby reporting from the future. I scrubbed every second every few seconds of Devil Worship Rodman, a longtime scrubbing that movie looking to the soundtrack I was wrong. It's not that scene that song is actually the Atlantis more set cover of seals crazy which is a good cover. All probably play a clip here or after this little bobby segment, I couldn't find this. Dj Colette Song Anywhere Yes. It's on the soundtrack. Yes. It's listed in the credits I couldn't find it anywhere. I'm assuming it's playing subtly in the background scene with Simon Baker but that sounds like a difference on also so I really have no idea what's happening as far as I can tell that song is not actually in the Devil Wears Prada. Correct me if I'm wrong. Okay..

With the sportsworld get little fix I think that was also something that was good for the whole country like Oh. They're sports on the TV know for sure. Took your mind, yeah, get your mind off of it a little bit for sure yeah, and then non stop. Banter back and forth sports brings. Always bad as politics. Very much so is one more person me asking me if they've seen the photo. Shoppers of Aaron Rodgers and a Patriots Uniform or Chicago Bears Forum. I swear. I will fly wherever you are. Because it's not happening. Relying more orgy relax. I team has to have backup quarterback I'm just saying yes. Yeah, all seems. Cheese, but I mean like assange is football i. mean is every sport and. I feel like I've seen the comment online. Like. Why don't they just play for? Play play the stadium without fans. and. I mean I. Kinda don't see why they can't just do. I think devil's advocate to play on that why? They couldn't is all of the contracts that they have. All the advertisers that they have like when you think about the Titan Stadium. Like what's the first thing? Remember when you walk in there. Like do you guys like? Jack Daniels right when you walk inside stadium. How are they going to? As a business in Tennessee titans justify to Jack Daniels. Hey, you should still pay for your spot here. When no one is selling booze, you anything from your vendor more for instance, the cost, light LS, and obviously we all know that we're building a new stadium Farley for the Nashville soccer team your, but they play in the stadium and their sponsors for people don't understand is GMC the trucks. That's who they got advertised, so we will need is Nissan. That's my argument to people. Why do they need their own stadium? You know with this whole. Hello, they have different sponsors. It comes back to money. Everything goes back to money like MOCATTA. Love so obviously. That's a conflict when you have two different sponsors in the same type of category like to to. All whiskey and Jeff, Daniels. You're knocking. Have that side by side should not even if there flavor for so it just? It's.

"I mean one of the most notable things that Our Call Lawrence Taylor and Bam Bam bigelow being booked on the Howard Stern show. I think that not only made radio but the cable network as well and Bigalow would insist that nobody's going to tell him to lose the match and that comes up because Turner Stern has has in this era been I Dunno hater he. He was not an advocate of the wrestling program. And he is he sold or he's at least playing ball and says hey I love it. I'M GONNA order the pay per view. What are you remember about working? Start in this era. Of course this is way before satellite. he is the number one indicated at the time. Probably him in rush limbaugh running neck and neck but He's a shock jock in really the first one that the nation's familiar with you know it was tough again on stern because he held himself very high regard. Just ask him and getting on there. That was big the only in. Lt is one that opened that door for us so to be able to get in and he gave us great plug he went along with. Everything in was easy but I think by doing this. One time helped us establish relationship with stern for the future must talk about something else she said. I'm pretty cool Also a New York Times Square Tuesday march twenty eighth. It's a public workout. We get the allied powers. Getting a win over Tony Devito and Mike Bail. You probably recognize both of those names sheriff. Tony Still Listens. Oh and heart gets a win over a Nick Barberie in two minutes and nineteen seconds. Jeff Jira and Tony Roy. Go to a no contest in three minutes and nineteen seconds and then the beginning ring confrontation between Bam Bam. Bigelow and Lawrence Taylor. Bigalow is going to extend his hand. Lt. after much prodding four elti pulls his hand back bigalow attacks in. There's a pull apart lex. Luger British bulldog and diesel. Make the save so a really cool little moment here. That sorta reminds you of what we would see years later with Mike Tyson stone cold. Steve Austin deacs tunnel celebrities. Here talk to me about how this public workout came to be. This is a big deal. Fucking huge imagined for those of you that you've ever been to Times Square in New York. Where the tickets like that little island in the middle of Times Square the got the Broadway tickets and all that we closed down. We set up a ring. We use bleachers. The rarity there for people to go and sit to be able to watch it. We had buses were parked across the street in front of Guess the hard rock or all star Cafe. Whatever the hell was there at the time we staged everything we had the dressing rooms on the buses and shit like that to get out of. He'll baby face got their Can't have same bus at the same time that that would just be sacrilege. So we had those setup in we just went out and the whole idea behind it was to get that confrontation between Lt and Bam Bam. We had few warm up matches and Shit. Let's just filtering bodies in got to our confrontation. It was just so fucking cool because you think about it noon Time Square Manhattan shutdown crazy for the WWF. Add this this stunt. How much cost had to cost an arm and a leg Depends on who you know. Okay that's all went into now. Let's keep it rolling. Let's talk about the show. We already briefly. Mentioned the the open to the show that it's GonNa highlight all the past wrestlemanias but focuses on the celebrities rather than the talent or the main events. Mr T. of course conspicuous by absence. We know why he showed up on the WCW program Something else is different here. America the beautiful is usually sang by celebrity. You Remember Gladys Knight and and all the big celebrities who who've done it over the years aretha Franklin Willie Nelson so many big celebrities. Here we have special Olympian Kathy. Huey Sing America. The beautiful which I thought was a cool little touch. It sort of caught me off guard in a long time. I remember who saying here. I did remember salt and pepper but I knew that was the main event so I didn't know what they did and I saw this time and it just stood out but I found my notes that the band fishbone was supposed to perform the anthem but no showed the event. What are you remember about the band? How did we land on Kathy Huey the Special Olympian here well? We're heavily involved in Special Olympics Special Olympics Then and now always been something. That's been very near events and Linda so they've always been a part of it there in Hartford where we had the Special Olympics. It's it's their home and it was an easy. That was an easy call As far as fishbone. I'd forgotten all about that. I don't know don't care. No one had ever heard of him anyway. So this is probably one of those deals. Where Alma God? I know this this act fishbone and this was all during the time we had Pam Anderson involved. We had Jonathan Taylor. Thomas Nicholas Detoro. But this was all kind of during the time that. Vince was trying to shy away. A little bit from the celebrity usage in Wrestlemainia. Fuck off with that. This thing is loaded with special celebrities. No we did. We had them. But it was all about Lt who was a major part of the Event Horse. You know in the match in it. Yes we saw we had A. We had John Taylor and all those guys But it was this Where we started you know what maybe we don't need as many are. We don't need to do it as much. The celebrities course Pam Anderson Obey. Watch you cannot. We cannot properly convey how big the show was is the biggest show in the world It's one thing to be the biggest show in America. This is the biggest worldwide show Syndicated all over the freaking plan and all these languages and pay a slow motion and a red bathing suit Got A lot of eyeballs in the day gene McCarthy as an MTV superstar is going to go on to be a big big star on her own after this She's also involved of course. Pam's going to come into the ring with diesel Jason. Come to the ring with Shawn. Michaels Jonathan Taylor. Thomas is on the number one Sitcom home improvement and Nicholas two. Zero is on the number one and most controversial on TV NYPD blue. It was a big deal back then. I'll never forget when they showed a guy but cheeks on NYPD blue. It was like this big scandal fast a few years man. You guys are showing but cheeks left and right on role we are. Oh Yeah I saw so many bud cheeks on row stock about. Let's talk about. We didn't see on the show. Here Electra blaze. According to the rumor and innuendo supposed to be wrestling Bull Nakano for the women's title at Wrestlemania. It doesn't happen did happen. The next night on raw wasn't originally supposed to be on Wrestlemainia and you were short on time. Why did he get bumped? And if so why probably got bumped into time? If that's what we'll schedule then I can't really I don't really remember but probably it was due to time more than anything. I know that I know that London was there in the Bulls air. Yeah no doubt about it. Let's keep it rolling stock about our first match. Davey boy lex. Luger taking on the BLU brothers. Of course we know these guys harass twins actually didn't hate the presentation of. Here's the BLU brothers. They only get six minutes and thirty. Four seconds mental. Recall it a routine opener. And he said that Davey boy looked absolutely huge here He would say the nationals clumsy and spots and give half a star or stay buoyant lex Luger. Pick up the win. What did you think first of all you got to big bass us in there in the Harris brothers? Okay and would you look at this match on paper? I was dreading it. I'm thinking Oh my God. This can be horrible. It wasn't bad. No because they fucking again utilized Damian. What David do you underplayed Lex in the big nasty heels? Look like big nasty heels and got slade. It was a perfect opener to go out and just kind of set. The stage for the rest of the night wasn't offensive by any stretch of the imagination and I was afraid to watch. We should mention LEX. Luger's coming off of one of the biggest pushes in company. History of course comes into the company as the narcissist not too terribly long after that we switch him. He's no longer he'll now he's the all American baby face. He goes with a big body slam on the intrepid on Yokozuna and we're just off to the races forever reason it doesn't work. It's not the hit that they were expecting and these guys start teaming together bulldog and lex. Luger on the January second raw whether it would pick up a win over Bam Bam Ataka. They're not called the allied powers until a few months later. But this does feel like two guys who could have been maybe different times world champs but for whatever reason? Vince didn't have the confidence in them so he throws them together and puts them in a tag team. Of course bulldogs are proven himself. In a major tag team the British bulldogs. The LEX. Luger has always been sort of position as a single guy. Why did you think this was the right combination because for each guy? The singles run wasn't working for whatever reason and they liked each other. They trained together and they were eighteen. Basically out of the ring. So let's put them together and let's see what we can do with it maybe combined. They may be better than they are individually. Now's a whole thinking behind because we there's definitely something with each guy without a doubt but there just weren't good individually in the first of several glitches the lights go out has JR's trying to interview Zebediah after the match. This is an interesting thing. I guess we should mention commentary on this show is Jerry the king lawler at Vince McMahon. If got one of the greatest unanswered of all time there Jim Ross. But he's not on play by play. He's not on color. He's interviewing guys in the Iowa on the way back to the locker room after the match. That's way different than what we're used to say. I don't think we've seen that much before. Or since why were you guys trying something new? And Wow was jim not on the call is this is on the call. Then was recognizable. Play by play guy for us and it wasn't Jim at that time and we were trying to do something different. And that's exactly it. We wanted to have people inside that arena. It was a full Raina in. Just get that excitement. It do something unique and different. We had you know vignettes in the back go to but we wanted to keep as much action in that electricity in the arena as much as we could. Here's my question though. I mean you're acting as if it's either or JR and Vince work together a lot. Yeah so why? Not if you've got one of the well again because the team was it was decided to be Vincent Game. I mean it's that simple when Jr is going to be you'd be given the same. Jr Lovers will be given the same shit if jr was there in the third wheel and if he was the ananlysts on that no to be clear that would have been good either. I'm not I'm not fussing. I'm just wanting to know we're Foshan. Okay it's also worth mentioning Waller has. This is the first time we've seen him since he had the scandal A few months back and now he's back here on the spot it just to me sticks out a little bit that you've got one of the best not doing it and instead of doing something we've never really seen before it ma- makes me wonder why them but either way They try to cut to the. Exactly it's I don't need people ripping off my my game in the bedroom in the sheets so I'll just leave it at that all right Dave. That's one that's quite a welcome back onto the show. Yeah to talk about your sex moves. Walkabout House not. Yeah we're not talking about but indirectly saying that he got this fucking bag of tricks into so good that you can't talk. Nobody has I got A. I got that book like in American Pie that Oh yeah Oh yeah the what twister on the tongue. Tornado hunk torpedo tornado. Yeah Yeah Yeah that are Kevin got from his his brother. His brother that was in the like the library archives like under the two by four We actually met him last summer and I asked him about that remember. I don't remember you ask them about drinking. Stiffler come yeah. Didn't think that was too funny. Now he laughed at it. He's he. He said he was like a mixture of like yogurt. Salt in like some other shit to make it look like seaman and he actually when we talked about that with him he like went in there is a whole like untold story of Kevin. Remember that how like his parents got divorced. We never wanted to tell and I was like wow. I appreciate the backstory of whom of Kevin Woods last name in movie. Whatever it is forget but I mean I should not my favorite movies really. So there was the whole backstory. That they don't tell yet it didn't it didn't make the final cut of the movie and it was cool here from Thomas Nicholas himself. You know no I always want like that whole thing where the book was buried behind like h shell the bottom so yeah. I need a blow the dust off of it. You know I mean not necessarily a fucking tornado book. But I've always wanted to find one like that. You know like What's that movie with? Nicholas Cage gone in sixty seconds with a treasure hundred acre. You WanNa be a treasure hunter American. That's the that's the one wish Treasury Atlantis. For some reason Atlanta's New Orleans pocket Atlanta's reckless do that one again. Because I feel like that one. We like it. We didn't get given Atlanta's proper. Do the Koch structure. Yeah Yeah I remember that Shit. Yeah you see that up. Why why is is Nicholas cage why does he get like Shit on for being awful. 'cause I like him. Kinda I like him. He's what we talked about on radio last week. He's nickelback okay. It's just popular to hate him. Just because as well lemmings do I think so. And I mean I guess I don't know. Is there a degree of? He might not be that great. Yeah he's in a lot of good movie. I know national treasures an awesome movie. Yeah both of them. I don't know if I've seen the second one. But the first one just like a thriller like all this history and it's hard to get your approval movies. It is it is. It is very much show difficult to get my approval. I tasked Abor Dave. I hold my my threshold very hot. Maybe he gets made fun of because I don't know if you guys ever seen that. Tmz video of when he was in front of a hotel and he was screaming at someone. Like they're like our Nikki. GotTA GET OUTTA HERE. Like like someone was fucking with him and he's somebody find my range. It was screaming about someone finding his Range Rover That could be a degree of that. I also feel like he just he only has one tone so I thought he might have just been him. I had take okay going off of that. I think Denzel Washington kind of stinks at acting. That's absurd wo- do you. Like I'll watch is he like. There's no variety in his roles. I mean he's in a lot of fucking great movies and what he's like the same person in every single movie every single one. He's alright alright. Alright like he gives same like the same voice inflection thousand McConnell walk. No that's what he doesn't training. Okay I think chain. They won't like best pictures. Shit brought up for. And what like he doesn't? There's no. There's like like Leo. For Instance Leo in in Django is completely different from Leo. In Titanic. You're unimpressed with coach Boon Remember the Titans I. He's the exact same character in remember the titans and I don't like that movie too much ever Seen Malcolm X. I have not some of his best work. Does Not Malcolm. I did not know that I don't know what you're talking about. Are You ELEO Guy I am? I am because there was no like More someone's not only Oh guy around like it was. It was our ex camera and I don't understand that. I don't know how you can't be like step away and be like he's made a lot of good movies a ton of like trying to struggle to find a bad one. You like the beach like what was it. What's eating Gilbert Grape? And he was I mean. He was mentally handicapped kid. It's gotTa be difficult to do you know at that age. Yeah Fuck Yeah. That's and that's a testament to how could have been actor. Ledin Caprio is but going back to Washington. I think he kind of distinct selecting. What would you say? Is Your top three Leo movies. I Love Titanic. I was that was the first. I saw that movie in theaters with my mom and when Kate winslet got naked very uncomfortable for me. They came out ninety seven. I believe so I would have been nine years old. You still you still after the Roman. Swipe she's still try to get the fuck and handprint and they have on the old car for that. Dave I mean I know that. So you'd say that's in your top three would also top. Three Jan goes great. I'm in rattle off. A movie sat at the end the departed. I will say this is departed. I think is the best movie I've ever seen in the movie theaters. I saw that today came out really young and I want to say. I know the exact date of its release. It was October six. Two thousand six. Can you verify that for me? departed did. Come on two thousand six. It looks like it came out Tober. Sixth as well. I just have a weird memory. Whoa that's weird moral South West Aurora that day. Sixty nine to six and we are up sixty nine zip at halftime a Geisha. What's your official three then Deep departs one hundred percent off their titanic titanic and then I haven't seen the bear movie. Da Revenue Revenue was really good. I have not seen that What else is there? I have not seen the new one with New York. Aviator it that movie. I don't wash fucking grave charter island. Shudder islands very good. He's great in that and saw inception. It's it's a good movie. I WANNA say great movie goodly option. It's it's just too too smart for me. It was just didn't how many realities and all that what a dream within a dream. What is what is real blood? Diamonds is sneaky. Good movie movie great like Saturday afternoon. Tnt type of movie. You don't my favorite one is and has a top five movie for me Is You ever seen the basketball diaries? I heard great. I have seen. It's incredible man is an awesome movie. What about I feel like you're going to have a strong opinion about gangs of New York. I've actually never seen it. It's pretty good. It's long Daniel Day. Lewis is one of the best actors on the planet. So he's like the other lead. Yeah that's that I don't know if it's one of my favorite movies but that Daniel Day Lewis is one of my favorite character. Yeah I'm bill. The butcher is it. Is that his name in the Middle Bill Shock Office atop I know obviously basketball diaries. And Titanic are my top three. It's tough to find a third catch-me-if-you-can maybe a cast cans. I think it's pretty good. Catch me if you can and I did not like the Avian. That's a one movie. That Scorsese he's that Scorsese. Credit I don't believe so actually I didn't like revolt. That's out of every single scorsese movie I've ever seen which is most scorsese movies that I would put that at like dead last because people. I don't feel like people I mean. People obviously know that I didn't know that but you don't really know and brings it up. No it's a scorsese. Yeah I have that same feel. I hated the end like in. This isn't no spoilers or anything buddies like this is the future. This is the future this is the future and then it's just done. I didn't appreciate that too much. I really liked the revenue. Thought HE DESERVED. Does the best actor for that one. I. I don't WanNa talk politics but I fucking hated his acceptance speech and leave it at that. Go up there and be like yeah motherfucker. It's about time I won a best of best actor you know. Yeah I don't WanNa hear you tell me what to drive and whatnot to drive what to eat. Thank you gave that You switched up. Are you onto oak milk now? Now I'm not I will like there's something about you know eating a piece of veal that like you know that that animal suffered to be all the more tender and succulent. I mean I won't feel but like why are we? Can you explain what the deal is? Veal is like they take a baby cow and they lock it in a crate so it can't grow and like you know I it's like A. It's like a miserable life from the second it's born it's detached from its mother like it's just not like it's not worth to me like like. I'll have a cow like led a cowley run around the fields and eat grass and live a life. But if you're going to be like I'm just gonNA torture this animal's entire life until I kill it. That doesn't sit right with me. How long do they get a lock it in a crate you know? I don't quite know I should probably get Peter Personalities. They might just come in. Is that Roy? Blunt P. P. Pito pit like A. Peta does that make you one of my favorite Marshall Moments of all time is big cat at the hot dog in the the skill shot. Picture is one of the funny. Because he's got fucking hot dogs hanging out of his mouth and he has no idea what's going on in those people just don't pick what atom him and crazy legs Conti. Yeah Fedora fucking went after them. How about a pita personal begin. Yeah that'd be willing to hear him out for sure. Yeah interesting. I wouldn't end you see like you know what's the threshold be like all right like now while I want to ask them be like well. What about all the animals slaughtered? So you can have like your chickpeas because there's all like when you harvest through. Like a little rodents get killed. Little bugs get killed at. Where do you draw the line? You okay with bugs being killed half Yadda Yadda you know like. If you're growing your own food what's going on. That's the one. My favorite parts about chief is when you get into like a trumpers Bernie Debater Peter..

"It's funny like you know if you need help recording panels right guy. Yes Cast Detroit Rob Ya but if you look at like whatever you're into like the the horror scene you know granted there there was. I mean you guys are doing just as good of a job if not better than like the stuff that's been going on here so that's like that's the thing that's one of the things that makes you guys so different lakes. I mean there are plenty of. We've talked about it like there. There are comic shows there are pop. Culture shows there are but like you guys really picked a niche and ran with more good Gumbo. You got all your gloves. Yeah like Hor. There are horror shows in the tristate area Michigan show. We got a little bit. And so last sarcasm I or movies either way. It's fine roms. Alaba emphasised mm Fox's horror bad so we do things differently than your typical horror convention mentioned. That's around here because we do the costume photo ops. Where else are you going to get? Sid Haig may he rest in peace dressed up as captain spaulding from a Rob Zombie movie. Again it's not very a whore you could probably watch. It hit the pop culture references. I I'm familiar with all that. I just don't like to sit and watch a horror movie that's all you guys are crushing it crushing go. I'm I'm looking at markets. "An edict being dictated up on the north side, and it's coming from the to Starbucks boys. So he's. One of them will be on with Waddle and Silvy. Well, we're 'Grande or tall. Grind, rhonda. Grinding. We're still trying to talk to Rick Hahn for some reason, he's ghosted us her crazy. Yeah. We had crowd control, the Rick on alot. Can you do? I love you keep asking. Tell you what it, it's all you do. So yesterday's game where in the green room watching a game with Ozzy? And the outside. The Ivy crew ozzy's fun, believable. He's the, he's the White Sox fan that Cup fans hate you know, because he's loud and obnoxious and boisterous. And I love it. I bet it was gone. So we get done with the post, first of all, he says something about the rats wriggling. Of course, we asked him about it. He said, I'm so scared of rats, I'd rather get a divorce not because I'm in love with my wife. I don't wanna give half my money but he said, I see a rat believable, and then we leave in the outside the Ivy guys start fan. Yes. And he hears them lamenting, the loss and he runs back onto their set and yells stop. There you go. He's the greatest, it really was good. It feels good for White Sox fans, I think to have something to be happy about again and to see that this rebuild is going in a nice direction. I thought it was good for the cubs. At least they could see what a closer looks like. Yeah. That's true too. When came out there. They've got one coming. In Sacramento bass. That's great Sacramento, California. From here. Used them last night. But I'm glad he was here eventually he's going to be your soon. But maybe. How about Aaron bummer man? I mean like a great innings lucky of the cubs getting you had brewers lose last night. Again, same laws, Saint Louis loss and the pirates. Want luck plays a major factor in this? Teams are also lucky. Good teams are lucky teams. So luck does have a factor in this thing. And eventually, this gotta start hitting the ball. They're, they're one run came on the first swing and a game. Yeah. Then I and then to not get divine Nova who is really struggled and has had is this year might be a little bit problem. But there are so many encouraging things happening in there. Like waves of young players coming up in the south side, that really makes you feel like this whole thing could work. And that's what's encouraging. I mean there are names like a year from now, you're going to probably see Robert in. You're going to see kopech back and you're gonna see cease and who else? Godhra goal from Oregon state magical. Andrew von all these guys that haven't even Clark Oregon state. About twenty five months beaver. What's the difference Collins being called up? Well. I heard you as we get talking to Stony is he gonna stick? I mean I think I don't think he comes up here not play. They have anybody with kiss THEO saying, so I would I would think that you find a way to get him in the lineup getting first base. What it comes down to. He can play continue the continue your path at the big league tenth overall. Right. It's time to see if you can do it in the big leagues. I'm guessing they get him in the lineup third Friday for the first time in the lineup against LeicesteR and you're not gonna take McCann out Lido go incorrect. There's no way so in. There's no DA can you explain to me. What your managers doing? Mon- Katha, literally said I my back is bothering me. I can't really swing. You double switch with him. And then he goes to the play tries to bunt, then he just stands there. And you could be not swing. I mean, why are you even why is he even vailable? That's a good question. Right. Couldn't understand it. Be careful what I would say tread lightly, and it's just tell a guy you he goes up there with marching orders. Don't swing. I mean, I guess that's possible. But what if? Stroke. Exactly. I'd always be afraid that guy all of a sudden he's gonna see a fastball daylights too much, and he's gonna swing and then he's gonna hurt his back. Might just want to sit on the bench for the game. Yeah. In less, they explicitly told him you're going to go in the game. Whatever you do do not swing. And maybe they did. Because that's what the bat kind of looked like so we'll see to be an interesting pitching matchup tonight yet. Tonight's good. I mean you know they can g Ledo keep doing this last. Eight starts have been out of this world. And maybe he will pass ver- Lander, you know, ver- Lander the last couple of times out has been susceptible to the long give up. Three more home runs last night about he's given up nineteen home runs seventeen sixteen. So. Hey, if you're going to give him up that's the way to do philosophy. Always was he said, I'll let you get the sell off here. Not getting the big three runners that is like, whatever he'd give up at the end of the year give up seven or eight home runs. Like, you know six of them were solo shots and that was it? I guess the great ones are good at that. But the other all solo shots, but they still lost last night. Anyway, the reds, right? They lost to the reds Karatas four to three. Madison city. Jordan came in aware that skyline. Skyline chili. What is it three or three that cheese? She's chilly. And then the dog or the noodles, depending on if you're going through excuse me noodles noodles. Chili cheese noodles chili cheese. Yeah. Yeah. And then there's on the ins, Jon Greenberg coming out of black car. Time. Greenberg's, Hollywood guess must be pretty light. The studio. Jon Greenberg take shots at us plenty I love it. Darius guard Kobe Bryant or, or de'andre one hundred hundred both picked to go before Chicago, pick said seven latest mock, I just saw from CBS has Dan hundred four. Yeah. You just can't those are the ones you won't be to predict because you don't know misinformation. It's hard to sift through all covert, ton of foreign ounce. The Andre now everybody wants to get the garlanded four. I mean garland is really shot up shoot up cameras. Everybody has pegged at eight he can pop. He might river. No, you didn't. Did he say he was standing outside, and I said, hey, Johnny? And he turned around he goes, yeah. I said, the guys want you to come into quickly goes, I'm going. He's in the b-black, I said, what time is that like one twenty can't jump in? And, and then he just walked into to the green eight times, the number of listeners, man. Listen, they've got no listeners, they've got nothing but viewers. Got nothing unless there's a blind person watching than they would be only listen, I'm gonna go give Greenberg, a piece of my mind, that's high low Merck. Greenberg. Hollywood, literally on this show, your show. Snoop has come in when he's doing. Who did we grab Byron Scott one day, John? The chick from. Oh man. Who is chick from will Ferrell the nineties moves spin in this video Mike Myers garnered? No, the, the love interest of Mike Myers gov. No. The first one. "And he knocked everybody off the island by being so different. So well, but the bows beans on this. I think I'm gonna. Sent lightly here and say when you have sixteen candidates, all of whom and I think the Democrats have to own a piece of this because it was obvious that Hillary Clinton was going to be the nominee two years too early. And so all of those other sixteen people were were saving all their best stuff husbanding their resources and their money to to to try and either pick off what they thought was going to be the remnant of the Trump vote or to focus it all on Hillary Clinton. And so Trump got away with a lot because nobody wants to come out really slugging hard. I mean, I found myself just yelling at the TV during the debates saying don't, you know, don't let them get away with that? Don't don't put up with this. You know, I I actually was hoping Republicans would actually walk off the stage. When Trump started doing his clown show during the during the debates, and so I think, you know. Yes. Some of it wasn't. He was a TV performer. But again, a cautionary note for the Democrats when they're fifteen or sixteen or twenty people on the stage. It is a circular firing squad. And at some point there has to be a there has to be a reckoning here of of people saying, look, I really I'm not going to be president. I need to get out of the way. Here I need to you know, we all need to row in the same direction. And I think. You know, members of congress particularly think about the last time a sitting member of the house was elected president. I mean, I think it's probably going back to the nineteenth century to get to that the early nineteenth century. So I I I'm a little concerned here that, you know, people are I think Trump is so vulnerable and they wanna raise their own issues, but it's creating a very crowded and chaotic fields and again people are exhausted by the news. So at some point, you know, they just kind of wave away, and they don't they they don't hear it anymore. I think we're engaging that happening right now. We'll just in closing Tom Nicol since you teach at the naval war college in the USA school of strategic status. Well, an important to remind people that I don't represent the good, but you do interact with people in the armed forces. And there's this perception out there that Trump and Fox News have hammered away at that this this thing called the deep state that's out to get him. And unfortunately for those who want to see the. The end of Trump it what can only wish that they would state. I know that there's not that state. And I'm show, you know, that deep state, but it's almost like we need deep state. So in terms of reckoning of what Russia has done and what Russia's continuing to do. And what they are lucky to do twenty twenty to help Trump again, do you expect some kind of reckoning? No. I think they've gotten away with it. I think they will get away with it until there's a new administration and a new national security bureaucracy, at least of the senior level of appointees. I think, you know, this is if I were Putin, I would talk this up as a win. And it's you know, I even if the president were impeached. It's win win for the Russians. They were trying to so chaos. They're trying to paralyse the US government. Whether the president stays whether he's reelected, whether he is impeached, all of those things are going to to basically, b I think viewed in Moscow, very, positively. The only thing that Moscow that the Russians would really worry about is. If there were sudden turn in American policy where we said, look, we know what you did. Here's the things we're going to do to you that are going to make your life miserable. And here the things we're gonna expose the hearings. We're going to have you know, we we are saddled up, and we're coming for you to to reveal what you've done in the shadowy world of intelligence here. But that's that's just not going to happen. And it may not happen ever. Because I think by the time either by twenty twenty one or twenty twenty-five whenever. And the president leads people are going to be exhausted by it, and that I think is a real danger to the country. And I I think in some sense that ship is filled. So you don't think that there's a possibility bias remorse in as much as Trump is so unstable and just simply having him have access to the nuclear codes and appear to be you know, less and less capable of functioning both mentally and physically is that not a concern. You mean for the Russians or the Russians in other words, if you wake up and gets on their own wakes up on the wrong side of the bed and shit some nuclear missile. I don't think the Russians I don't think the Russians worry about that. At all. I think they understand that they have a lot of compromising material on the president. I that's my personal view. I think that they thirty years of doing business with the old Soviet Union and with the Russians I think they're quite comfortable with Donald Trump. Right where he is. So I don't I don't think they wake up and worry about that. What thomas? Nicholas. I thank you very much. Joining us here today. Thanks for having me in. And again, I be speaking with Thomas Nichols says US naval college university. Professor and that junk at the US F O school after teaching full studies and the Harvard extension school.
