"Floor and it hurt herself. Yeah well one of them was stuck pretty good and so i was hauling on it and when it finally gave way i pulled it toward me. Just kinda slice the side of my foot and then she blames me for where. She accuses me of mocking her. Yeah well i mean yes you were concerned but then like just moments later i was pulling out more tile and you're like whoa there take it down a notch you know. I walked with love. I'm a love macher from way back. No i'm not making fun. Because i hurt myself in some really silly ways. We've never taken to the emergency room. No you've taken to the emergency room a number of times. One time i sneezed threw my back out. And i'm worried that the older i get when i sneeze. I'm not only going from my backout. But but p already do that might be on an even plane there. Notice how. I didn't mock you for that time. I've got a weak bladder floor or something. I don't know what's it called pelvic floor. Maybe you should do some pelvic floor demolition. I don't think that's advisable regardless a story for you here we go retro-futurism. Retro-futurism is a movement in the creative arts showing the influence of depictions of the future produced in an earlier era. So it's kind of like examining if art becomes life that kind of in a way if you ism is sometimes called a science bent on anticipating what will come rev. Retro-futurism is the remembering of anticipation. According to wikipedia always been fascinated with retro-futurism. How people in the past thought our life today our today their future would be. Yeah i any time you can find videos of like what a scientists thought the year nineteen ninety-seven would be like you have to watch it. I do i. There's there's a lot on youtube that Well it's just good fun. It's one of the reasons why. Even today i still love the original star trek series because so many of the things that they depicted at that time as science fiction came to pass You know the communications devices were very they very clearly resemble cell phones and the fact that captain kirk could verbally give the computer commands. I think of that every time. I say to put butt plugs on my shopping list. Stop in ninety nine. Nikola tesla envisioned and instrument that he said quote will enable its bearer to hear anywhere on land or sea for distances of thousands of miles and now more than a century later. His vision is in about ninety percent of all americans pockets over the years. Time magazine put together issues that would predict what What they thought would would come in the future and they did this periodically like about once a decade. They may still do it. I don't know but here's some of the things that they predicted. In nineteen thirty. Three dr thomas hall chested wrote an article about the face of the future. Literally about how your face would evolve interesting. He was convinced that humans in the future would be cyclops. is it cyclops or cyclops. Is they would be cli- they'd be cyclops Now that means of course that they would have won. I thought this would be distant. Centuries perhaps even millennia from where we are right now but they would have won. I in the center of their forehead but but low down about where the bridge of your nose is today. Why well his thinking was that. The human eye evolved originally so that we could see far into the distance but he reasoned in nineteen thirty three that because modern humans of that day read they wrote. They examined pitchers as said repaired. Watches and also they were cutting germs at the time. These are all up close actions and he thought that We would evolve to accommodate those more close range tasks and activities by developing. Just one single. I in the middle of our foreheads. So we could repair watches. Admittedly i am not an eyeball expert But i feel like that's nonsense. Yeah yeah it would make for some interesting. I wear for sure it. Listen if i have one eyeball it better work. Twenty vision back in one thousand nine hundred eighty one time magazine. Cover the construction of a new television station In that article the addressed what they saw. As the potential downsides of this new medium. they were concerned that the population was developing a television obsessed culture Which obviously is true quote. Our people are becoming less literate by the minute reading. Books and thinking thoughts apparently would be done less and less because an increasing amount of time is being eaten up by people watching tv. They apothecary sized that quote by the twenty first century. Our people doubtless will be squint. Eyed hunchbacked and fond of the dark. He then went on to say quote. But why am i carrying on like this chances. Are that the grandchild of the television. Age won't know how to read this anyway. Oh wow what a snarky be. The part about the squid eyed hunchback seems to be coming true Mostly because of the advent of tesla's idea cell phone we're all just perpetually looking down scrolling with our thumbs. I wonder if we'll evolved like multiple thumbs like two more i type with two years in for increased scrolling for increased scrolling and typing efficiency on a cell phone. I think that's really unfair. Is because it depends on what you're watching on. Tv you can watch very educational informative things that expand your mind and make you think i mean. Yeah if you're watching garbage tv shirts but it's not the medium. It's not the tv. That's the problem is like when people complain about the internet. Oh yeah you hate all the information. All the information in the world being available to the information. Yeah yeah i got it. We don't want people to be educated. Sweetie we've learned this. You can't blame the medium in one thousand nine fifty six. A doctor named francois odi prophesized that eventually. Every medical malady end disease will be treatable with one miracle pill. He thought that eventually we would come across some sort of a substance that would straighten out anything wrong in our cellular biology and Would would fix it. That sounds more like a. Ge wouldn't it be nice. If rather than..

"And the roof deck with the pool. Everybody else is below in the afc teams in seattle. there's a tampa bay buccaneers. There's the ram okay. There's the san francisco forty nine. There's a new orleans saints. They're all getting better now. Let's switch today. Buffalo's not going anywhere. I believe strongly indianapolis will be a better football team with a new brain in carson wins. I don't know that tennessee is going anywhere. Oh by the way. The flavor of the month is the cleveland browns for a lot of people. They certainly continue to get better. I could go on and on a why. Oh by the way. There's a guy in la in the same division name. Herber quarterback market pretty damn good pretty good if they stay healthy. What does that do in terms of challenging the kansas city chiefs within the division. Oh might have mentioned because we can't forget to mention guy who just played golf name air. Rogers that could potentially wind up in denver. Does that make denver broncos a better football team. You damn skippy. It does now. What does that do to kansas city. It patrick mahomes so when you start to look at all these sorts of things to catch tom brady. It'd be compared to him or lebron. James one basketball changes everything for an organization. One player football. Know you point the tom brady. Tom talk no. He landed into the perfect situation. This was not young. Tom brady taking over team in building. That team was already built. He brought enthusiasm and wisdom to an organization and win the super bowl. I don't know that. Patrick mahomes is going to catch tom. Brady in lebron james and michael jordan. It's hard as hell to win a playoff game in the nfl. Let alone number super bowl stop you. Need to be special. His special c. span's v magnet. Here's a magnet is talent. You know what you need when you named all those teams that are disposed contenders for his greatness over whatever it is going to be the next ten fifteen years of his career. What's the one missing element him. It's patrick mahomes. That's what makes you can't j. All is a total team game. You've gotta have the guy a whole coaching staff. That know what the hell they doing. Right argument diminishes the fact that tom brady and the patriots had to overcome some great teams as well. Did they not know minding the patriots success. Hey head hello. Players will mcginnis tedy bruschi. Lawyer malloy tied low dea branch corey dillon. I mean i can go on. And on how i said it's on the french it's on the chiefs and make sure this is a compound and everything else you've got a guy saying lies on the organization to be successful. Do you know how hard it is to win. One playoff game as much as we love. Patrick mahomes in how great he is. He may never ever win another championship man. And they may win the division every single damn. You would not hockey this. This is not a hot take with another rear but the chances you might win more he made it all. Depends on how they keep that team around and bill. That's hitting around but it can happen with the war jim. Kelly is in the hall of fame three of four players. Anything i read hall of fame. Bruce smith hall of fame dermot thomas hall of fame. Jim kelly all the flame. None of them have super bowl rings and they went to four street because one win is hale house. Y'all act like ross nice here. The opening act like super bowl trophies. Like damn eminem you cut it open to the whole you know. 'cause that's now you're trying to put on me as if i'm trying to say it's easy would your turn and say is patrick homes. Isn't that special. he's everybody else. What happens raitis. You had drew brees. Who had rogers lonzo especially that. Do just play goal. Most talented quarterback we've probably ever seen the franchise the franchise manch is they to nfc championship game. They got a ton of talent. Don't don't fall for the narrative they don't have any players that's not true case they have to go to green bay when you head all pointed out pointed out. Isn't that in your argument. You tried to say patrick. Mahomes is journey to being. As great as tom brady might be more difficult and less likely because there's more contenders in the way i wanted to ask. Was the journey for tom. Brady's all of his super bowl wins that he not he and the patriots and the bucks not have to overcome great teams as well they had to overcome could team. He's about the afc east. They won every year. How many years of. Afc division was down so it was already set up to have home advantage. A lot of the times or have a by but look at doesn't diminish anything is just fat. The era of quarterback that he played in. Think about the i mentioned drew tabriz ben roethlisberger. You manning the guys that one you know multiples but the amount of greg cote aaron rodgers brett form the great quarterbacks that he had in the league at the time is that like they won't every year but they wanna to life felt like they want every. Like this not great quarterbacks. Now seriously you're russell. Wilson isn't good. Everybody is properly matthew stafford up with a new team. We'll send la josh. Allen just was an mvp titan quarterback guy of baltimore just one again. You're putting everybody in the same bucket. I'm not doing that. What patrick mahomes talent. All right guys. i'm just saying just to put a button on this coming back here. Four call a bunch of passes from quarterback on this going back to the original question. Here is too early to compare mahomes and brady. I personally think the conversation is gimmicky. I think it's premature. I think it's premature. I think it is low key insulting to tom. Brady what he's accomplished. And i think it's limiting to what mahomes can be and so over the course of time. Let's see mahomes phone your immediate early but do play a few more seasons in gotta go gotta go and we're brady accomplish crazy like come on. "Dan bongino welcome to the bongino brief. I'm dan bongino so we played this video yesterday of joe biden doing what every liberal democrat and every really every democrat does promoting the biggest economic hoax in the last hundred years. It's been going around for a century. The hoax of trickle down economics you doubt me about two replay. The but it's important in light of some updates halfway. Here's joe biden. During his joint address where he again promotes the trickle down hoax. Check this out. My fellow. america's trickle down trickled down economics. This time to grow the economy from the bottom in the middle out trickle down there we go again now. I know many of you listening you. Some of you know. I beat these things to death like i used to beat to death the infamous clinton surplus. That never happened. The clinton surplus principiis though such thing. Remember to get my older. You have to be an older listener. I used to discuss it. All things drives me crazy. It's just not true. There's no clinton surplus ladies and gentlemen. I bring this up again because it really want to say it. It's as me off you. There's no such thing. There is no trickle down. Here's thomas hall again. We play this yesterday. I played again today. Because it's going to be important. Thomas sowell say this is a total fairy tale. There is no trickle down. Check this out trickled. Where does this phrase trickle-down come from. I don't know it was as far back. As the as the first as the roosevelt administration there is absolute. It is an incredible thing. It's there's a nonexistent theory. The constantly being attacked Some years ago when my newspaper column. I challenged anybody to cite any economist outside of an insane asylum. Whoever ever made that argument nobody ever came up with a single person. So when barack obama says in this past july quote we were told that prosperity we told them. Nobody told him. Nobody has ever held nobil politicians ever said who was that back. When i put this out. And i a nationally syndicated column. Various people wrote me and say well so and so said find me the person who said it. I don't wanna hear how you find me and show me where he said. Thomas soul is a legend. He is able. There are two words that are used inappropriately. The english language i hate. I can't stand. And i'm going to say this in the opening my radio show may twenty fourth. Monday may twenty four th when we start so be tree listened to words literally in unique that people use them wrong all the time literally when they mean figuratively and they say unique. When something's not unique. Thomas all is literally unique. There's going to be another. There is no trickle down. He says if i was not obama's people tell us nobody told you. There is no trickle down here. You want to prove hat tip again. Cole who email me this last night or this morning. Here's another leftist magazine or semi left this magazine. Trying to pretend trickle down exists. Here headline why trickle-down economics works in theory. But not in fact. By kimberly audio and eric estevez. You may say. Dan trickle down exists. Balanced dot com is writing about it right there. No no look at the footnote. Look at the foot. No this is important. This goes to show you how liberals propagate myths and suckers believe it the first footnote wharton school of business the trickle down economics edop or is it a drop in the bucket. You're like wow trickle down exist and they said it in the headline and they footnoted the wharton school of business so coal was kind enough to actually go to the wharton school of business and read the article here. It is the trickle down economics. Add up or is it a drop in a bucket. Dan wardens talking about trickle down. It exists does it because when you scroll down in the peace you get this arts of many others pointed out the folly of using the term trickle-down economics that no real economic model or serious school of thought stands behind. What has long been a term of art at the intersection.

"Content of any other state in the country. So this is gonna have not only a positive impact on our farmers, but also give the truckers of people moving goods peace of mind as well. Yeah, I mean, it's a little thing, but it's a lot if it's your rig right or fit your engine. It doesn't happen all that often. But you know, I'd imagine, though his gas George Lange's gas prices go up. There's probably more incentive for these distributors to start cutting their product like it's. It's like drugs, right? Yeah, the D. A starts cracking down on me while the price your street product goes up, But then you start cutting it more so you could make more money to make up for the losses. It's true in anything I would imagine in this bad gas game. It's the same thing. I'm gonna assume that the manufacturers do not do that. Assume that We're going to try to have the best quality. But if all of sudden they discovered somewhere along the line, they've got something that is. Ah, ah, little shoddy. If you will they, you can come over and dump it here in Ohio, not against the law for you to do that, and there's no negative consequences. You can't do that, so usually it's at the manufacturing and there's a problem. Something happens. There's water or settlement, something I like and they look at it go out. We can't We can't really move this in Kentucky, but, hey, you know what? We'll just up this over the line in Ohio and all is good, so it's not them. Really cutting the gasoline with water as much is some sort of manufacturing error. Yeah. Okay. Got it. My assumption is made sense. George Lang is here on 700 wlw. He is representative Ohio, the Westchester. We're talking about a proposal he, Bridget Kelly. Others have, uh and that is gas testing. I know you think of this. But apparently there's been a problem in southwest Ohio with batches of bad gas getting dumped here because it's legal to do so from other states or other distributors like well, we'll send it to Ohio. And you get a batch of I don't know what you think is premium and you put in your nice car. It's going to follow the engine and even worse if it's diesel or agriculture equipment, too, So it doesn't happen all that often, But when it does, it could be cashed Catastrophic. So why is it taking so long for this to happen? Where there's you said, there's what three states that don't have any regulation relative to this, but What's happening as far as I guess lie being would would be the only thing I could think that that would be prevented this from happening. How did this seems like a slam dunk? George? Why isn't it done already? You know, it's not due to a lack of effort This legislation has been going on is I couldn't tell for at least the better part of two decades. It goes back to when Gary Cates was our state representative and pay. Rogers was our county auditor. They were trying to get some stuff done back then, in this regard, I'm going to say the main reason it didn't get done is they didn't have the dream team. Bridget Kelly and Cecil Thomas and Thomas Hall are all helping me and I'm confident we're going to get it pushed through in this General assembly. You know, Bridget, She's the one that's really taking the leadership on this. And she's done an amazing job of getting us in the position where I think that only can we get it done. I think we can get it done quickly, and it is not only by partisan. It's now by camera. What we're gonna be working companion legislation in both houses. So I am confident that we're going to get it done. Yeah, Bridget Kelly seems like she is really stirring it up these days. Yes. Yeah, I haven't And that's why I had you on Georgia talk, but I'd rather talk to her. She's a lot sweeter than you are, but also the fact that she's she's turning into my Joe deters for Willie Cunningham. I could only have around so much. I gotta I gotta mix it up. Here's what I really people are gonna start talking. Yeah, There are things she didn't I are going to disagree on. We're gonna fight like hell on on significant issues that were going to impact Ohio but we don't Worry about those things. We disagree we no, The fight's coming. I warn her ahead of time. She warned me ahead of time. So we're already But then what we do is we look for where do we have common ground and we've we've got more common ground than just this one issue. And where we have the common ground. We're going to join forces that we're going to try to get things done, plus her dad's very guys. That's awesome. I mean, it's so refreshing to hear, because I mean, look, Look what's happening in D C today, right relative to impeachment 2.0 on Do you hear things can't get done, And there's so much infighting and backstabbing and contradiction. And here in southwest of Why are you in a in a Democrat Bridget Kelly, like, Hey, let's find some stuff we can get done, including Making sure we don't get bad gas and that some everybody can get behind. That's awesome. We got to celebrate that. And I wish there was more of that it up in Washington, D. C. As you just pointed out the atmosphere up there is so toxic, although, you know Gridlock might not be a bad thing. Spares. I think in general, the left. We elected officials do the better off. The businesses are Boy, it sure seems that way, at least my experience over the years. Absolutely. When you have divided government, it works better cause they're fighting among themselves instead of, well, you know, trying to pull one over on the American people. Nonetheless, What's the timetable for getting this gas thing done? I would say the over under is nine months and I bet on the under. Okay, Fair. Fair enough. You have any two is what? Well, what happens if you get a bad Let's say I don't know. You put some fuel in your in your truck, your car or your combine. Whatever it is, and All of a sudden, it's not running and you realized, man, I got a bad batch of bad gas that I just bought. What's your recourse there? You don't really Your only recourse today is through the legal system, and it's gonna be very expensive because not only do you have to get a lawyer involved, but you have to be able to prove you've got the bad gas where you got the bad gas. At the reason Roger Reynolds has been so successful in Butler County and identifying it. She is actually going out and taking some samples himself. So he has, you know, he has a jar in his office shows. This is a sentiment. This is the crappy quality of gas. You get it this particular location. Otherwise, The only thing you can do is look for you know more than one case at one location. It's It's very difficult for an individual consumer to have any recourse today. Other than the You know, spend a couple $1000 to fix the damage. That was done. Yeah, That's the thing. I mean, you're talking about a whole new rebuilding the engine or something like that. And you know, it's often wonder you driving down the road and you go. I know there's some some gas station that I don't like maybe a mom and pop ran something you never heard of rightness like, Wow. That's like 25 cents a gallon cheaper there anyone ago? You fill your car up, But you wonder, too. Is it 25 cents cheaper? How are they? How are they beating the big suppliers by a quarter dime or whatever it might be. It makes you think like is that actually what I'm is there a lot of soybean, and there's not a filler that in that gasoline. What am I buying here? That's a legitimate question, and it's perfectly legal to do right. Perfectly legal to do. Yeah. I don't know if you just based on price or not, but anyway, George Lang, I know you got to get going. Got snow to deal with. I'm sure if you're headed back to West Chester, you may want to spend the night again and Columbus where you are. Oh, hi. Rep. George laying on the show. Thanks again. Be well, buddy. Great days floating. All right, take care of their ugo at George laying and now you know, you know? Yeah, e.

"Next three or four minutes but our next guest but he just texted me that he's a he's he's coming things falling through Isaiah Thomas hall of Famer two time champion Detroit Pistons I would argue I have argued the second greatest point guard of all time I know magic was a point guard yeah I know that is the point about magic like lebron like come on I say is so grossly underrated he also did not have the greatest experience or success track with New York Knicks and he made himself an enemy of of Michael Jordan there was own fault or otherwise will ask him and so he has certainly an orderly gotten crushed in the last many years and in that documentary the last dance a lot of guys got absolutely bulldozed by the Jordan machine but none none as much as I said Thomas and look I like the Jordan doc I thought it was great and riveting interesting and a piece of propaganda that's okay it's not a documentary it's an auto documentary and it's always worthwhile to give people who are in the crosshairs of those who have an axe to burn the opportunity to arm to get their side of the story and also this too I've had the advantage of of get to know I was a little bit of Miami great guy that is a great player a great guy so very excited that the hall of Famer is joining me right now Isaiah Thomas first of all happy holiday hope you and your family are healthy and and safe in these crazy times happy holidays to you and I hope you and your family are well too and we all safe and healthy where it's you know ground zero here in New York but everyone is doing okay is the city and I lived there for a couple years Isaiah Islam has lifer turned a little bit to turn normal is it still goes down in in New York City you know it it's it's it's it's still kind of a ghost town Jessie Kerns you know what you'd normally would expect in New York however that just goes to show you how you know vigilant and diligent they the new Yorkers are taken you know this this virus everyone is very serious about it and in trying to do their best to to you know shelter in place you know social distancing and and I don't know if you you know this might my daughter tested positive for the virus in so we went through a long failed without seeing her now that that you know she's over it backfield you know the seriousness of it it hits everyone family friends and relatives so I encourage everyone out there that could be saved stay healthy and can really practice you know what the doctors are saying because it it is fired as someone who has had it in this fine I will I I second that Isaiah Thomas here on on here on the show I say okay we were talking about the the last dance and how many people Michael Jordan took shots at it in that documentary obviously yourself including your call in a hole on on national TV and I called you we talked three or four weeks ago and I ask your reaction and to my surprise you told me your reaction was surprise why I'm why are you surprised by the things Jordan said about you well I was surprised only because he and I you know we we have had dinner in the past he amat we shot a night going out to dinner we've been at NBA functions before and hi I just never experience any type of you know animosity or anything coming from him so when when his producer and himself I need to sit down for the interview our last stand you know you you spoke coming on and we were happy to oblige him in we sat down we did the interview and then in our last band came out my family and you know we lost could not account have my share lunch and pain and compile corneum and we were ready to you know watching good show so definitely with surprised by what I saw on television and you know doing that moment you know I I had given him a you know an apology on national television for the way we handled ourselves by doing that defeat that they gave us and his reaction to that with with the price of as a Thomas the hall of Famer here on the Jim Rome show bill Ryder filling in for Jim I say I wish I could ask this of course grant Scotty Pippen every person that doc I know if you heard but I just said I loved it I found it riveting in it was controlled by Michael Jordan so you have to think take it all the grain of salt let me ask you but you you are on a scale of one to ten ten being a hundred percent accurate one being you don't recognize yourself how accurately do you think you were portrayed in that ten part documentary series you know I I couldn't I couldn't I can't give you a number because that you know what what really has has gotten the most coke about is the walk off I was you know I was I'm grateful for the compliment that you gave me in terms of Magic Johnson being the number one point guard in in his opinion me being too so I was very grateful for the compliment me Tammy peer compliment you like that you know you you always grateful for so you know that you know the the walk off you know has been at the dominant story the dominant narrative however I do enjoy getting a peek behind the curtain relationship that you know that he had with teammate front office because we you know as the opponent you don't know what the other side is doing internally so I haven't seen it to look back and see what was really going on in their locker room you know with their personal relationship you you know it's been interesting for for us as a as a fifteen team did you see like you know who were the guys who who really beat it you know so that that's been interesting as in Thomas you're on the show I'm glad that you you reference that because I make that point a lot but they just made it a a second ago just to the guys here and in the office are privately I think on the air to I would push is the second best point guard of all time behind Magic Johnson and you're right Jordan does the same thing in Jordan's praised a lot more important than some random radio host praise OB which speaks to the fact with Jordan he clearly hates you any clearly respects you a ton and a lot of ways in you and I have discussed as I say I think you're pretty misunderstood guy that's how a lot of the basketball world views you with some disliking with absolute respect all being much maligned do you think Jordan contributed to that at all in his power in the things he said about you in whatever role he played in you not been on the Dream Team do you do you hold them to account at all for the way that you're viewed somewhat universally in the NBA no I I you know I I really don't I don't go Daddy death with it in at my time in the NBA and I've been I I've said this to you before and I couldn't and it has been proven that my my time in the NBA has been spent on the basketball court in school you know so I the way that the way we played in the way I play you know I I try to win every game and then after that you know for the most part I I was I was still in school trying to complete my degree I was in Bloomington Indiana double sessions every summer you know in in most young people now who have the benefit of the of the internet and being able to take classes online we didn't have that benefit band so you have to be on campus in school or taking what they call correspondence courses where you had to go to brick and mortar facility to complete your schoolwork so I was in school majority at a time when I was in the NBA and then when I get out of the NBA I started my business career very early I win my race with you my my right with with fees and and ninety one basically was a career ending surgery for me when anyone who has a fuse bones in their in their rates you know you can bend it forward or backward ninety two I started my business career is on the cover of Forbes magazine and in ninety four I was part owner of the Toronto raptors so last night trying been in the NBA would basically around clan on the floor run in the union and you know in in the academy and that's where I've spent most of my time as a Thomas here on the show I say you know I talk about this I grew up a a child of the bulls right I grew up in the Chicago burbs Iowa back and forth I hated your pistons teams and all of you guys thank you for that it was ironic is you're from Chicago all but I don't think I mean I understood it because I was following it with hate I don't think people realize younger people you guys beat Jordan at his peak as a player not his because it you know in terms of where he had got as a team you guys beat you beat the Lakers you beat magic you beat Purdue beat the Celtics and you guys want to in a row where do you think that pistons team we talk so much about what was the best bulls team of all time what was the best warriors team of all time where do you think that pistons team ranks in the history of the game you know that that that's a good question hi this is what I this is what I do know unite both from Chicago and it was always important for me to keep track of the record when I went home yeah both so my my record from eighty four to ninety against the Chicago Bulls thirty six and seventeen that that was that was my record against the Chicago Bulls in in doing at the time from eighty four to ninety two of the best team I have ever played in some way is the best team I ever played with the Boston Celtics in eighty six and I think the Lakers with eighty five or eighty seven eighty one of those conclude a cop who can capitalize well I look into was competing against those two teams in the country code so I don't know where we rank in terms of how people ranked team but I know the competition that we played again and how successful we were against those teams you know and what we accomplish you know doing the eighty there's only two you know if you want to talk about the two coplink guard of magic in myself in the eighties we are the only two players during that period that won back to back championship without never went back to back you know what it's going to be OK seventy six okay and then the Lakers were the only two teams that went back to back in that era as a Thomas here on the show yeah that that whole eighties in the into the nineties the bulls I mean Philly Boston the Lakers the pistons the bulls it was an extraordinary extraordinary basketball as a Thomas gracious enough to make some time here on the Jim Rome show bill writer Phil and then I say I asked this question we talked on the phone a few weeks ago all asking modified version of it you played against bird obviously in magic and Kareem and and Dr J. and and Jordan who from just for you who's the best player you ever compete with against based on on what you experience on the floor yeah so I would say that that they're doing that peer to time that the the top competitors that that I had to face during that period of time.

So in order to get to a level of proficiency offensive line where there's a law of diminishing gains, it takes a lot longer number six, I like free food. Don't ever turn down a free meal. Now, I'm when he states it that way, is there an argument on the other side, especially given that these guys train on their own? They take their trainers with them. They spent hundreds of thousands of dollars with stretching people coming around with them and traveling with them or going to where they are for their specific training need. I would always say in your first season. It's probably just as look as a leader. It's something you should probably show up too, because I think fans like I think the giants got rid of Odell Beckham junior for some of these reasons and the first chance he has to make an impression on the brand. They're fan base, the coaching staff and you put Freddie kitchens at an impossible spot because he has to answer for him now. I mean, it's the first chance you have to make an impression just show up to the thing. I understand it's collectively bargain, but do the right thing and show up at the proper message. I think another argument is that, you know, the OT as in the whole off season program, really is, is a lot about team building and chemistry in. And if you're paying Odell Beckham to be Odell Beckham I think, part of what you're paying for is his mentor ship of the rookie wide receiver the free agent wide receiver the, the guys on the team who could be benefiting from his mere presence. And Greg, Cody totally ignored because they want to be Jada be leader. Well, it's a great take by Joe Thomas, but he's also a guy who was there for his entire career. You just to show up and you had about nine houses for closed on every time you have to disappear. Just one to you have to disappear to take care of that. And that's that's terrible on him which really brings into question. Why flew all the way to Monaco? I love that. He's in Monaco doing. No. He's not training and Monica. He's posting on Instagram him training which by the way, I'm not a fan of his training because he doesn't look like he's doing it right. There's a lot of quick motions and he looks like he could get hurt which is my next point OT as we all know that this is not gonna go well for Cleveland it's just in the cards for us as a franchise.
