"And in terms of things we can see in the skull because both of them have really well preserved skull is the pre maximal. Another words are very front of the snout has longer and smooth teeth. And a little bit more spirit like or something than some other teeth and then the maximum which are the teeth farther back in the skull have Sarajevans. So they are Hetero dance not hetero onto sores but Heterodox, and that means that they probably eating some different things because for eating the same thing all the time, a lot of times you have similar teeth throughout the mouth. Unfortunately. We don't have very much information about the site that they came from they were collected and prepared by local farmers, which is pretty common in China, and that means that we can't look for more signs of borough like we can with an have found with a Richter drome. Yes. Because if you can find a sort of naturally filled cast of a borough, that's really the the gold standard ignore fossil type evidence for burrowing animals especially if animals inside that, no fossil cast. But these were already dug up and prepared and then handed off to paleontologist later. So we can't look for these signs. I don't even think they know exactly where they're from. They said that it was near a city and it might be intentionally vague because these farmers might be making a lot of money off of the dinosaurs. So they don't WanNa give away exactly where they came from I'm not sure. As is often the case that people who were investigating. The foucault were worried that it might be a forgery because especially one fossils look like they're in fantastic shape. Sometimes, there's a little bit of fudging that goes on either sticking different fossils together or otherwise just completely faking bones. But they put an X. Ray and they didn't see anything suspicious. So they think that they're both challenge fossils. Unfortunately some of the bones were damaged and or glued incorrectly in the preparation process, which is always just a potential downside when you have people who aren't experts working with fossils. But on the other hand, we might not have ever seen these in the first place if the people weren't interested in finding them, digging them out and then donating or selling them. So like I mentioned before, they believe that these two dinosaurs were in a borough when they were fossilized and their preferred theory is that there were two individuals resting annaborough together and then the borough collapsed on them and preserve them just perfectly. So it would have been a pretty instantaneous. Probably death and then preservation gateway ago. Yeah. I think. So compared to a lot of. Indications, we see on dinosaur bones and who. Not to get chewed on especially. An alternative though is that there was a mudslide from a nearby volcano that filled in the Perot and then preserve them that way and the others propose a third option, which is quote. We can alternatively imagine that the Chung Menia specimens dug their burrow unstable reworked volcanic material just after the debris flow and quote. So I guess there's indication that there was mudslide material you can kind of. See that in the little bit of rock that we have preserved around them, and then the question is, how did that end up around them? Did they burrow into it and then it collapsed or did it fill in behind them one or the other is probably the most likely explanation but they do note that it's all speculation and that we really can't be sure of what happened to them. Overall Chung Mayanja looks a lot like Gel Soroush, but it has some more basal features. Angeles Auras. Is from approximately the same time and place. So that was one of the more important ones to compare to. Chung Menia has a few adaptations that are presumed to be helpful for burrowing animals. The one that seems the most obvious to me is that has a shorter neck with just six vertebrae, which is less than some of its relatives and some of the bones are fused in between the hips and things that might have been useful for digging. On the other hand, it has some features that you wouldn't expect to see if John Menia was spending most of its time underground its hind limbs are about twice as long as it's four limbs which. Means it was. By Peel. It was probably a quick runner or also known as curse Oriel. And that's partly based on the fact that his legs are so much longer than its arms but also the ratio of the length of its Femur to its debut. The authors also say quote moreover, the fore limb and skull modifications remain rather modest so that Chen Millennia was obviously not a true subterranean animal but more likely a facultative digger as also suggested for trump's quote. So a Richard Dramas to has longer legs. It's skull doesn't look like a lot of other subterranean animals I guess, and therefore we think that it might have slept underground but probably spend a lot of its waking time outside running around on landscape. Interestingly, they mentioned three other dinosaurs besides the Richter drome that might have been borrowers. The includes Zephyr, Soroush or dramas, and Korean Soroush what timing to go there dinosaur of the day. Yeah. What do you know? All of these dinosaurs are basal or nathe pods, the group or Dromey. But. For some reason, they left out of boredom dramas and US auras which are also often included in that group. I'm not sure why they called out three of the members and said, these are also likely diggers because they're in the same group. But who knows they probably the reasons? They just didn't elaborate on it. Their fight logically put Chung Menia as a basal or Nipah pod, but not within or a drum A. Which I thought was Kinda weird since they're like all these ones in Germany are borough hours and then Championia wasn't in it. But the strangest thing about their philosophy is they left out or drome address, which is one of the best known borrowers. We've a lot of evidence for we have a few individuals to work from but they said they are waiting to get some more details I think want measurements from some other one in order to include it. So I think they also think it's likely to change when a record romance gets put in. Maybe it'll make a larger group with all of these growers. and. Last night is wanted to give credit to Weiser who pointed out on dischord that I could update my rabbit hole analogy from erected Romi borough to Chiang me any a whole but I I'm kind of leaning towards Zephyr Soroush because that one's more fun to say than neither the other two. But. We don't have as good of evidence. We still have the best evidence by far for Rick, to draw me as burrowing than any of these others. So, if I'm doing a dinosaur analogy, I should probably stick with drug use. It is the been saying the longest maybe we could simplify down the dinosaur burrow or something you go. Good Point. Our other peer review article that I'm going to talk about was published in Cretaceous research by Thomas Beaver and others. And in it, they describe a new dig site that adds to the evidence that spinosaurus spent a lot of time in the water. Oh I wonder if this is one of the papers are was telling us about he is included as a CO author on it, but it's not really about spinosaurus material. So I don't think it's one of the ones he was alluding to. It's more about an ecosystem. So it's one of those ecosystem reviewed papers. It's actually really fascinating because it's in southeast Morocco which means it's near the proposed spinosaurus neo type and where a lot of spinosaurus material has been found in the past it should say isn't really that much but it's a lot for spinosaurus. It's still part of the Kem Kem group as well. So it's all consistent with that other stuff we've been looking at and talking about with spinosaurus in Africa. There are two different sites within the area that they cover in the paper, and the most important thing about these sites is that they're completely packed with sawfish teeth and spinosaurus teeth interesting. Yeah. There's hundreds each of softish and spinosaurus teeth in these sites. and. By comparison, there's only a few dozen total teeth from terrestrial animals. So there's a few carcharodontosaurus, Abella Royd on identified theropod and a couple of sore pod teats in the mix. But even if you add up all of those teeth, it's still an order of magnitude less than just spinosaurus teeth. So it really looks like there were a lot of spinosaurus and a lot of sawfish going on here and then not a whole lot else in the mix. Some more evidence in the solution destroyers riddle. Yes. That spinosaurus didn't have to compete directly with these other large predators because it was just eating fish all the time. There were a few other teeth in the area including. Crocodilian teeth,.

T. you are contacted we had him on earlier but he says you gotta you gotta get a whole Thomas beavers I mean you're you're gonna love chatting with him so I said excellent great recommendation so welcome man and I wanted to get your thoughts you know in the black community where you are in a slick in in in your congregation you know I'm getting the impression that for the most part ninety nine percent of the people that are upset about this and protest in want to do it peacefully and then we got you know just the French group that are causing violence what what's the general feeling you know when all this started and and where it is now yeah it isn't there's an interest not just in our city there's an iris not just in this country there's an arrest in the entire world because people are tired of injustice and what you're seeing right now is there rioting and looting according to Dr Martin Luther king junior is the language of the got hurt so for so long people's voices have been muted you know a lot of times when we see injustice in society when we see a white police officer killed an unarmed black man or a white police officer killed an unarmed black woman it is always the voice of the oppressed that is being lifted the voice of the marginalized the voice of a black person that is being lifted up for the first time in the history of the entire world it's not just the voice of a black person that is being lifted it is not just the voice of the oppressed and the marginalised being lifted by the every voice is being lifted up every different nation every day on every different track every different changes and so therefore as a consequence I believe that change is literally getting ready to take place right before our eyes because as long as it is only the voice of the oppressed only the voice of a black person being lifted concerning injustice the end nothing has happened nothing has taken place when you think about the beating of Rodney king in nineteen ninety two black people lifted their voice and nothing happened everybody got acquitted when you think about Eric garner being cute in New York who was the first person to scream out I can't breathe when you think about the murder of Brianna Taylor in Louisville Kentucky when you think about Trayvon Martin in Florida when you think about a mile are we just a couple of weeks ago in Brunswick Georgia and now when you think about George slowly you know we've been lifting our voices but this the first time the is not just black people lived in their voice everybody is lifting the boys together and hopefully with everybody lifting their voice together conversations will lead to actual convictions so no we do not agree with the loading we do not agree with the writing but at the same time we do understand it because when people's voices have been beautiful solo and they have not been heard or adding a looting is the language of the unheard you know pastor I said the same thing I said look you know over the weekend I spent some time talking to different folks about this and you know reading a lot of different opinions about this and seeing a lot of different social media posts with videos and and for the for the first time in a long time my heart change that but I just something different clicked in me and I said I requested the Judy I said you know I I don't like the violence just like you said but I understand it you know there gets to a point where it no matter what the cases for each of us if you're frustrated over the injustice or anything bad happening in your world whether it's dealing with an addictive family member that can't shake drugs or alcohol whether it's you know either you're constantly being beat down you know by a boss or what whatever your instance may be in dealing with frustration that's constantly coming at you from the negative side of things you only tolerate so much and then it's like okay enough you know and that eruption you know there's some bad behavior not I get that so what I want to talk to you about can you hang on for a few minutes to get to a quick break and come back yes hang with me okay Moore was a pastor Thomas beavers and how we move forward and what kind of change we can expect and how that change will take.
