Rodgers Works out With Packers, Then Details His Concerns

"It was festivus in Green Bay on Wednesday and Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers spent much of his thirty two minute news conference airing his grievances he explained why he stayed away from OTA's and mandatory minicamp one of those reasons was his desire to serve as a recruiter and evaluator of free agents I think we can all understand you know Green Bay isn't to you know huge vacation destination people coming here to play with me with our team and and knowing that they can win a championship here the fact that I haven't been using those discussions when I want to change moves forward Rogers also said the team didn't have any plans for him beyond the upcoming season he was also displeased by the way the team has allowed several star players to leave the Packers some without any contract offer I'm Dave Ferrie

Jalen Green Is a Lock to Go in the Top Four

"We turn our attention to another consensus top five. Pick former or five star prospect. Jalen green he was actually ranked second in the class of two thousand twenty. Twenty two twenty four seven sports. He's a six foot six hundred seventy eight pound nineteen year old guard from california who skipped college to play for the g. league night price of five hundred thousand dollars. He averaged seventeen point. Nine point four point one rebounds and two point eight assists in thirty two minutes per game shop forty six point one percent from field on thirteen point six tips per game. He shot thirty six point. Five percent from three on five point seven tenths per game. He was the team's leading score in best three point shooter. I've seen him as high as third in some drafts. I haven't gone forth behind k. cunningham. Jalen son evan. What more can you tell us well. Yeah he's shot. Fifty five percent from two thirty six point. Thirty six percent from three point range and sixteen games at that g. league ignite level. He does have you know yes. What more can i tell you for. Most people listening there is the allure somewhat of the unknown here. I mean only the diehard diehard nba draft have been keeping consistent tabs on jalen green whereas if he had gone to college he would quite clearly be known commodity. He would most certainly play for bruce. Pearl at auburn. Had onto college. And that would. Certainly things would have gone different. I think for the tigers last season if that had been the case green himself by the way tweeted back in may he tweeted and then subsequently deleted. Because this isn't exactly the greatest endorsement for the daily. He said i know for a fact. If i would have gone to college it would have been a different talk about. Who's going number one. He might well be right. But that's the that's the that's the status of the g. league ignite program at this point and that's to be expected by the way. But hey listen you're not gonna go number one because you didn't go to college but he got paid five hundred thousand dollars and you're going to go second third or fourth and i think that's a trade off the quite clearly jalen is comfortable with

"Sure what's up how can I help so I'm a second generation small business owner and we are hiring right now and I have a unique problem of needing some guidance through sorting through all the resumes and applications were getting worse for more people than we could interview and we put a lot of weight into you know how much time they spent on her previous job and I'm I'm not sure that's as relevant as it used to be I was just seeing if you had some red flags are some things that that you would look for if you were in my position yeah Jeff I think I would love for you to start by quick exercise tell us what will help you win the most one of the characteristics the qualities the skills that you can identify right now top of mind for an applicant you so you know they're the type of person who can help us win forty looking fourteen player team player what I like to collaborate works well with others okay so hurried to put our own two cents in great that's a great list right there team player a collaborator right so there's a spirit about a team player they're humble a collaborator again that's it that's speaking to their desire to actually get into the team environment get their hands dirty they're going to contribute it's not about them it's about the mission and actually enjoy the creative collaborating the rest of those skills those top four five things you listed off I'd be looking at the resumes for evidence of those things to start that's where I'd start you know that's the best way to do it and then you can do a quick phone call and look for those we picked up a book with for my friend Pat Lynch the only a few years ago and we had people here and we would say it was also just doesn't get it and we didn't really know what that meant although we just knew that they didn't get it like that and get the memo and wit and when we read Pat's book we started figuring out what we were meaning in his books call the ideal team player and ideal team player here is hungry humble and smart people that book right now the other people smart they're hungry meaning they go getter and their humble meaning it's not all about them if you're missing one of those three you're gonna have a problem inside out especially inside a small business and you're looking for you what you said is a sense of ownership to you want them to act like an owner R. which is one of our core values share yours all self employed and so we want to act like that when you're here think about what an owner would do wouldn't do that and that's out you're the right you're on the right track then now one of the things we do to couldn't to call it is we'll do a quick phone call and just look for culture fit on the phone calls and then we the first interview is no more than thirty minutes long if they make it to an interview do not spend more than thirty minutes on the first interview even if it's the best applicants in the entire freaking moral you're wasting your time do not spend more than thirty minutes and spend two thirds of that because you have two ears and one mouth two thirds of it listening one third of it talking she got twenty minutes of listening and ten minutes of talking do not go thirty two minutes do not go thirty one minutes thirty minutes because you what you're going to find if you haven't already found this and I found it back when I used to do the interviews I don't do them anymore but some people walk in the door and having said a word and you're already on it's all over it you know you are here you got confused somewhere along the line you got confused you're not qualified and so but you have to spend a few minutes with them and then if you don't watch you like people and I would spend an hour with somebody that I was never gonna hire a million years and it wasted their time my time frustrated by involved so now just just thirty minutes from get in and out and that sets the stage general quick you said you have so many applicants you can't talk to all of them how many we talking about in for what type of positions or position are we talking about shoulder to mid to entry level positions and yeah I would typically get you know three months ago I would've gotten five to eight resumes for the five or seven out of eight what what street trash can and today I'm getting you know Christy okay applicants to the same job I'm fighting fifteen but just look beautiful okay so let me let me just give you one other thing I think what Davis and right before you get to the phone call I think in these times with the amount of applicants that are coming in due to the massive unemployment numbers I would email all of these people and I'm of the test one of the qualities that they've talked about in Pat's book ideal team player I want to test for hunger she does not actually talked many times on the outer leisure park is used to host a program here for Ramsey solutions and Pat knight I think days an agreement you can't teach hunger I can teach humility I can train humility and I can teach people smart and train people smart I can not put an appetite in somebody that does not exist and he agreed with me on that I would send an email to all fifty I'd say some type of quick assignment doesn't have to be a long thing or trying to scare people but you're trying to delineate day between the people that are hungry and the people are just looking for give me an interview I wanna see some hunger I say some type of question like could you send us enough three hundred words why you want this job and why you think you would be better than other people that are applied something like that you can make up your question make it relevant to you I think the route those that respond I'd look deeper at their resume because I think they're showing some hunger at least some initial hunger just an idea give me a little bit more some test tool thing to jump over and want more money than people are searched will go yeah I'm not jumping over absolutely and that okay yourself selected you might get twenty eight out of the pile because they may just be mass emailing resumes letters telling us I'm telling that's happened yeah I was definitely happy so what we're trying a hundred resumes I got no responses religious crap done work as well that's right we're not looking for people with a pulse we're looking for people purpose questionable on the polls show now yeah you you people are wired up and fired up and so yeah I give him I mean I've known guys that were more manipulative than I would suggest but if it was like a sales thing you not send out sometime in the not respond for three four times and see if they'll keep coming at you that's right the sales about rejection another don't keep coming at you I don't I do that and I think that's a wee bit manipulative by this but it still makes the same point of if you put just a little bit of a filter up it'll screen out all whole bunch of it says right on the list for hunger by the way to your point Dave because you really created the interview process that of course we still do we teach an entree leadership and it's it's one of the hardest lessons every year Audrey master C. series how we do interviews our interview process it works folks but I will tell you something if you can get to the point where you come up with some of your litmus test questions to gauge hunger I'm telling you to really help you because people will say conger but the ones that are really hungry they'll stay on the line so to that extent that you can really do that it's going to really help you get the right people look for hungry people you can train them to do just about anything yeah I mean it in you can you can really test for all three things well you can but I think hunger super important yeah I want I agree with that it's.

another another former former democratic democratic presidential presidential candidate candidate is is endorsing endorsing Joe Joe Biden Biden in a video on Twitter California senator Kamilla Harris threw her support behind the former vice president saying quote I believe in joke we need a leader who really does care about the people and who can therefore unify the people and I believe Joe can do that and with us right now was ABC news political analyst Steve Roberts Steve what a difference a week makes it did you anticipate Joe Biden picking up this mode the momentum this quickly no I have not I don't think anybody did I I think what we're what we're seeing though is a fascinating phenomena based on one word and that word is fear it's fear of Donald Trump and fear of Bernie Sanders Joe Biden has not been reborn as some useful charismatics move talking energetic candidates Joe Biden today is still the same Joe Biden that people have a lot of doubts about two weeks ago two months ago two years ago the difference is that Democrats have so desperate so frantic to find somebody who can beat Donald Trump that they decided that day either as a group and individually as voters and as candidates they'll camel Harris being an example of of having to rally around somebody and then choosing between Biden and Sanders the fear of Bernie Sanders is pulling the party too far to the left so there's a lot of energy around the Biden candidacy right now but in my view it's largely negative energy it's driven by fear it's driven by desperation there are not a lot of Democrats even this morning jumping up and down in Saint Joe Biden's gonna be a great candidate a great president but this negative energy is very powerful and that's what's driving this trend do you think it's now his to lose or is it too early to say that definitely has to lose end up and I think it's gonna be very difficult for Bernie Sanders to rebound here the one variable of course the one no wild card is by himself as I say he has not been report he's still the guy who can show astounding lapses of judgment he's still the guy who could make gaffes he's still the guy who can show his age very clearly he's still the guy who can appear fumbling and uncertain and in debates with Bernie Sanders and interviews it's still entirely possible for him to make damaging mistakes I think a lot of Democrats even if they rally around by they're holding their breath and hoping that Biden will get its act together and I've seen some signs a few signs of Byton improving on the stop I think he's shown a little bit more energy I think the campaign line about I'm the candidate of those who have been left behind it counted out is a defective and powerful line really echoes of a bill to written of nineteen ninety two the comeback kid although Biden's hardly a kid he's more the comeback teaser than the comeback kid and also this line of of of appealing to the concepts of dignity and civility and normalcy I think they provide a fairly stark contrast to the president who's in the oval office now but Biden is still Biden it was all of his flaws but at this point he's the Democrats best hope and it's gonna be very difficult for Sanders to capture Steve thanks for your thoughts again this morning ABC news political analyst Steve Roberts it's also worth noting that this morning one of the former Anxious Man

"Josh Robert Welcome to mental. Your hello thank you for having me so we're GONNA be talking about anxiety today. Quite an in depth I will. When did you first start experiencing anxiety yourself will so in a major way It really started me the morning after. I'VE BEEN TO A PARTY. So sounds quite unlikely. But prior to that I suppose it'd been nervous ish child but I'd never been I'd never had like maybe tiny panic attack so what you would associate with what I would now identifies a panic attack but really for me. It was kind of always completely final. Seemingly fine went to a party wake up the next morning and everything had kind of collapsed. The any idea what triggered that I didn't know I think it's a combination of genetic factors so I think if you poke around my family history. Logunov you'll see a lot of on diagnosed condemns with the Times but sort of mental health problems and then so I think it's probably sort of underlying and then yeah. I was sort of conference of lots of different things out of state in a job that I wasn't particularly joying maybe too long. I wasn't exercising. Tula losing a lot not really sleeping and so I think I was probably already slightly predisposed and then the policy push me. How did yet she actually fail on that morning? You describe it. Yeah I mean it was like waking up into if you seen a movie where they kind of an actor or character wakes up startled and it. It was basically like that. Wake up into a panic attack and like I said had sort of miniature panic attack previously this what must just complete next level in terms of the intensity of it say panic attacks on that different for different people but for me it's like an intensely physical experience stomach knotted breath. You know very short heart pumping going nuts is dilated skinny sweaty clammy hall but called less sort of thing And then accompanying physical. Tara is a very singular mental one. Which is the idea that at some point. Olis' physical stuff with my body is going to become too much and I'm GonNa have a heart attack will will pass out and lots of people very common people. Think of panic attacks when they're in the most being heart attacks and th- reality is thankfully whilst that terrifying No one started a panic attack yet so it was extremely intense and long so usually panic attack could last for thirty seconds minutes when I'd had these little tremors before this one was three or four hours. Oh my goodness yeah. It was really intense and it was sort of. Come maybe it would subside fractionally and then it would you know. Sort of new wave would come would sort of appear see. It was pretty grim. I went to I went obviously went to an e a bunch of times with three different times to the and Went to see two different. Nhs GP's this'll general prognosis and it's not their fault you know then. It just isn't at the moment setup to deal with problems like this but This sort of general prognosis that it was that it was a hangover. Gone wrong And you know the prescription was cup of tea and get a good night's sleep so think promos couldn't sleep so Five days after five days off the initial thing having badly slats and been in a constant state of panic I ended up going to To see a private GP just coughed up the cash and And he very quickly diagnosed me with a generalized anxiety disorder after that initial fairly long. Panic attack then manifest. Yes we moved. It went from being kind of immediate fear about dying to being an mall. Will generalize guess all pervasive fear of pretty much anything say the definition of a Generalized anxiety disorders will obviously worry about forget anything so things like getting fired or getting dumped to Get a whole bunch of really. Would they call sensory motor stuff so I worry about forgetting to breathe or not being able to swallow or being constantly live to the rhythm of blinking and things like that so you have those initial worries and then what you do? Is You worry about those worries. This is slightly difficult concept to grasp. But it's the idea that your normal people might worry about. Not Sleeping Normal. Invited comments people like me. Worry we'll spend our whole lives worrying about not sleeping. Does that make sense? It's like a second order. Almost derivative of the original worry and then the third thing is guilt. Say you find this with people who suffer from anxiety disorders and depressive conditions. And things like that where you look at your life. And what on earth do I have to worry about? And of course the reality is nothing but it's a disease or disease but it's a condition something that exists outside of me and therefore it's not really my fault takes a while to get. How did you deal with everyday life through this? I would say in the in the initial I sort of five days a very badly so I was badly sleeping. I didn't see anyone So I I was couldn't sick to work. Actually that's not true. I did go in occasionally but I would get their run into the Lou after a few minutes. Run into the losing sort of burst into tears. Kind of thing and then make excuses shuffle. It stayed really bad for me for about a year and so after a couple of weeks I started to develop. I don't K- ping mechanisms but ways of seeming fine externally whilst crumbling entirely and so. It's something I talk about quite a lot in the book. Is this idea that you really can be fine. Externally and be disintegrating internally and lots of friends of sets me having read the book. I feel terrible that we didn't know we couldn't spots or didn't realize it was as bad as it was. You know you said you had a problem but it was. It was as bad as it was. And the answer is not not an partly consciously. You're trying to cover covered up because you don't want to be have a problem. You know wants to be problem but also because actually It that's just the nature of it. Is You know. Come for me. At least it's very real duality to it And so yes in your question Obviously a bit of a mess for the first couple of weeks and then after that I think I started to get better. It are the disguising it or living with. When did you decide? You want to shad this sort of writing about intending people about it. I was always really chatty about it and I think that is slow maybe slightly old for particularly blokes to to be open about it in a way. I was lucky it was as bad as as walls because I had to. I didn't have an option. You know when you will spending an hour of every day at work in the lose crying You'll boss get slightly suspicious. You know either. You've got a bowel complaint or a cocaine addiction or something that means you against the latest much and so eventually I had to. I I started talking about it with people and once you've said it once again it's just my experience but once spoken about it once it gets each time you did it gets easier and easier and then. I the writing of the book came. I had been talking to a friend. Who's a journalist so I used to work in advertising and I was talking to a journalist at the same newspaper and he'd had a similar problem to me and he suggested. Oh you should you should write about. This wasn't something I'd really considered but I pitched it to see to the Times newspaper. He published the article and we just had this incredible reaction to it so too. I mean hundreds of messages from people around the world and on the back of that someone else to a book so called anxious man at what you cover on it. We talk about all sorts. So it's kind of rooted in my own experience. I hope that it's funny book. So they're all jake's which isn't necessarily the most obvious is doesn't obviously make a A sort of topic will vector for telling jokes but it is humorous. But it's kind of starting from my own experience. What's it like to live through the moment that I described earlier? Where you wake up to realize that your mind has collapsed. What's it like to experience? full-scale disintegration of the mental faculty And then Haji about getting better and I'm convinced that the things that stop you from having one of these things in the first place are the same things that help you to get better and so. I hope that the book is of course helpful for people who've had this problem was similar problems. But if you haven't their lessons in there hopefully Would be helpful. We also look at interesting thing you know would pick around things like social media. We look at the new cycle and how that affects mental health. Sleep BLUES. Stuff about what? How did he pass me in terms of getting better? So I would say the the kind of anchor in me getting better and there's a number of different stages but primarily for me. It's been a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy Which doesn't what form but for me. It's just been incredible. Changing my relationship with alcohol completely. Say become a complete bowl. Well not a complete at that Aussie things like exercise Say fairly standard stuff I will say maybe in the most when you have a problem. That's as longtime or rather when you have a problem that is immediate is mine was like yours at the start. What was the trigger? You spend a whole lot of time trying to figure out okay. What's the exact thing that caused this problem? And actually I would say one of the key components of my own recovery is accepting the there may not be a particular trigger that this might just be completely random and once you've realized that you can let go of the search for the specific combination of things that make giving you anxiety and start to get better.

Mythbusting Multitasking

"All right. I've been hitting the gym. I'm back in the gym it. It's time to get this lazy ass body doing something. That's really going to make a difference and I've started the gym now. It's been about two weeks now so I've gone every day except for two days now. One of the things I like to do is I used to be an avid runner. Now I'm not talking. Ultra Marathon Lake Gauguin's or anything like that. I used to run. I'd run on average five to seven K every few you days or whatnot. It's kind of interesting because I got back on the good old treadmill there and I started out started out running. And I did a whopping eight minutes st eight minutes. Can you believe it aide whole minutes. It's on the treadmill. Yeah kind of laughed at myself because that was a far far contrast from what I used to do. Now I've been running every day. I start out every single. Dale Walk for a couple of minutes. It's just to get the body all limbered up and everything will start running. I notice I went from eight minutes up to twelve minutes up to fourteen minutes and then I had this little barrier that I put in place for my mind I could do twelve minutes. I do fourteen minutes no problem. It was easy simple for me but every time I tried. There's that word you all know that. I can't stand that word every time I tried to do more more that block that barrier would come up and it would stop me for moving ahead. Well something pretty amazing happened this morning. I want to share it all with you because it's so relevant for all all of us. I'm not just celebrating my own accomplishment this morning here I want to paint the picture of what's possible for each and any one of us to be able to remember I am not that ultramarathons Kamera thon guy so here. I am rocking out this morning. I hit the fourteen minute mark and something different happens. Something changes morning. I could keep going so I did. And what's interesting is I set myself small little piece of small little things to focus on. Okay if I can do fifteen minutes. Can I get to seventeen. My logic in my mind was five. Do Seventeen. That's Fifteenth Fifteen street minutes of running. Plus my two minute warmup. Yeah that's pretty good. I hit seventeen and I was still get to go. I kept doing that until thirty two minutes. meaning that I I had my two minute warm up and I ran straight for thirty minutes now for all you marathon saute. This is no big deal for you. It's like whoopy-doo the guy ran thirty minutes. But for me this guy that's basically been outta shape. It was an accomplishment this morning. What I'm seeing? Here's it each and every one of us can do this. It takes commitment. It takes perseverance. And it takes jake setting up a different standard in our mind. Remember what my old standard used to be it used to be. You can get to fourteen minutes. I could get to sixty minutes and I'm done. I'm tapping I'm finished. It's all I got guess. What a whole lot more than my tank? I didn't do anything different. It's not like I had a bunch of extra arrest or anything. I just got off my ass this morning hopped on that treadmill and I fucking crushed crushed. It crushed it from me. What's great is you can do this? Take this it's a bit of a mindset thing do what I did is I set small little milestones. Okay if I can hit seventeen eighteen minutes can I hit twenty minutes. Can I hit twenty two. Can I hit twenty six. Can I hit twenty. Can I hit thirty. I set myself up small little milestones and I believe that I could do it so enough of my accomplishment though something. I'm really proud of but enough about that. Let's get into the myth of multitasking. What the Hell is this whole idea of multitasking? Well well the idea of multitasking is that we can do multiple things at a time. I'm here to tell you. That's a bunch of absolute bullshit. Now where I use this where he uses in particular Taylor in my business. Coaching is when I'm working with managers. We've all heard the old story of the open door policy. Yeah just come on in anytime no problem I can help you and and we'll I think it's great to be able to build that beautiful report with all your people that work with you that work for you when it's time to do some work when it's time to take on the tasks that require that focus. This is when we have to close that door because we can do one thing at a time really great. We were never meant to do multiple things at a time and for myself. I've really recognized the most I can do. Is One thing I can chew gum and walk. Hey if that's multitasking. Then I guess I'm rocking it out but what I'm here to say as we. We can do multiple things when I'm coaching right. When I'm working with clients I'm not sitting there scrolling through facebook feeds and this and that why because I don't have the capacity for that when I'm doing in my one thing and I'm doing it really great and I'm crushing it? I'm getting all the results and guess what I'm saving time. See the idea that we can do multiple things. It actually takes takes US longer right. Yeah I can multitask. Here's the thing though your brain has to shift thought processes rate sitting in planning out a budget versus going and you oh speaking to an employee that comes in and whatnot. You have to interrupt that one task. That budgeting mindset and you have to shift that mindset into something else now lots of practice you can do it fairly effortlessly heartlessly. But they're still a time loss where we make up that time and where we give ourselves out time back is when we focus on that one thing that we can do really great the idea for this podcast. It came this morning I was running on treadmills. I was cranking and I'm like oh I've got to capture this. I've got one of those minds if I don't write it down if I don't capture it right away poof. It's gone on. I didn't want to lose it this morning. So here I tried the whole myth of multitask. So here I am. I'm running away. I'm grabbing the phone and I have to capture this right. I have to capture the title for this podcast. What I'm going to speak about today so I'm trying to type I'm running? I'm half fallen off this treadmill. I'm sure if anyone was looking at me they'd have got a good chuckle out of it. See even on that. We can't multitask not task. We can do one thing really great really quickly really efficiently. Take some time for yourself to say. What is it that I have have to do? I can tell you the reason I bring. This up is because people where they struggle were they have. Some of their biggest challenges is when they're trying to manage multiple tasks all at once. So so. You can't do it what you can do that one thing really great. This is where I tie it into scheduling scheduling in that task. That you have to do that. You have to to get behind so that when the time comes to crush it when the time comes to absolutely give it your all and get the task done on time on budget with everything you need to all it takes to get it done on is to focus in on that one thing. Stop Telling Yourself that myth that we can do multiple things at once we can do one thing really great. Give yourself a gift because it it really is a gift it's GonNa Save you time. It's going to increase your productivity. You're going to get a hell of a lot more done when you focus in on that one thing the idea of multitasking asking you know what recycle that idea get it out. Transform that energy into something that's GonNa help you focus in on that one thing right as we all know about energy it can neither be created nor destroyed only transformed. And this is what we're looking to do with that. Stop worrying about trying. There's that word stop worrying about trying to multitask and instead focus in on that one thing that you're doing right now. The benefits re permit are amazing. You'll get so much more done you'll be so much. More are productive and intern. You'll be so much happier managers. It's okay to close that door if you're focusing on something that requires all your attention. Take it utilize utilize that utilize that moment utilize that time. You will be extremely happy that you did. You're gonNA get more done. Focus in on that one thing.

federal election commission to learn more about this k. p. b. s. reporter max rivlin nadler joins us from san diego welcome to the program thanks for having me what new details did we learn with this filing so the new filing focuses on five extramarital affairs that duncan hunter had when he was in congress the first one starting just four months after he was elected and took office in april two thousand nine so he took office in january the longest feature in the filing is about an individual identified as individual fourteen who was a lobbyist and they spent campaign money on things like a ski trip together a thousand dollar hotel tab they went to concerts together and they also went on a double date with a nother congress person to for jinyan to virginia beach but that congress person has not been identified i wanna talk about another development last week hunter's wife margaret hunter took a plea deal she'd mifid that she mris campaign funds for personal expenses how could this affect the congressman's case right so as part of that plea deal she faces possible five years sentence but the idea is that she might be a testifying against her husband which is pretty rare for federal case and his defense this whole time has been bad his wife had the power of attorney which dates back to his time in the military and that she was overseeing the campaign credit card one thing in the filing that might undercut that is a detail where she had booked a hotel room with the company card in in washington d._c. for an event she changed her travel plans so that she was no longer coming for the entire time and one of the nights in the hotel room that you'd booked duncan hunter went and had a tryst with one of the individuals that he was having an affair with in the hotel room that she had booked so her knowledge about all the spending that was being done doesn't necessarily add up with what his theory is for the defense let's next in this trial and in the meantime is there any sign that duncan hunter would consider resigning he has not shown any interest in resigning we haven't seen that right now it's on pace to go to trial in september that's possible there will be a plea deal before then it's not looking great for hunter but that being said there's very little chance that any plea deal but not involve any jail time so of course he would have to resign he won reelection last year and seems very much focused on getting past this so we will find out that's k._t._b._s. reporter max rivlin adler reporting from san diego thank you thanks the united methodist church the largest mainline protestant group in the u._s. is on its way to becoming the divided methodist church it's breaking apart over recently tightened church rules that bar l._g._b._t. clergy and same sex weddings worldwide this summer u._s. methodists have been meeting to consider what comes next most but not all opposed the new rules n._p._r.'s tom dolan says the prospect of a methodist divorce now seems to be less a matter of if then how the united methodists have long been proud of how they handled diverse views when example from the annual meeting of the baltimore washington methodist conference this month bishop latrell easterling invited seven attendees on stage to share their thoughts on the most divisive issues facing the church and she pleaded with her delegates to withhold judgment so i ask you beloved i beg of you listen with open minds listen but the deep church division over l._g._b._t. issues soon became clear pastor kevin baker cited the bible on homosexuality and sin and how he thought that church should respond that we want all people here but that we see that god calls us out of behaviors that are not in line with his word a few feet away reverend michelle johns who identifies as queer was clearly upset by the suggestion that god does not approve of her behavior i don't know how much more can bear listening to hate it don't believe god hates me i believe there are those in the methodist church who do and i feel it right now i feel it alongside her another methodist minister rebecca yet a sally dismayed in her own way by what's happening in her church i am a child of broken covenant child of divorce and sometimes i feel like i am eight years old again pulled from to sides and trying to hold everything in people together yet still not knowing where i belong this is where things stand in the united methodist church four months after conservative delegates from outside the u._s. joined forces with conservatives in the u._s. to approve punishment for clergy who ordain l._g._b._t. candidates or perform same sex weddings that vote deepened a division between conservatives and progressives and now has ministers like pastor baker from only maryland thinking a split in the church is now inevitable the level of harm and hurt is so great and the inability for us to talk in healthy ways with one another is at the place where i don't see any other option at the baltimore conference bishop easterling or deigned to openly l._g._b._t. people in clear defiance of church rules it's things like that baker says that explain why he's ready to give up and dialogue we've been discussing this since nineteen seventy two the only reason that we're at this place as we've gone from discussion and disagreement to disobedience it's true many progressives at this point just won't accept church rules that marginalized l._g._b._t. methodists ginger gained sara lee the senior pastor at foundry united methodist in washington d._c. is a leader of the movement to resist the official church position on l._g._b._t. issues there are bad human created rules that are contrary to the primary commandment to love god and love neighbor this is one of them in truth or some intransigence on both sides gain sara lee notes that the conservative side of the global methodist conference in february rejected a cover his plan that would have let individual churches decide on their own whether to allow gay clergy or same sex weddings we tried to stay stay in connection with those folk they have clearly said we're not interested there will be another global methodist conference next year the rules they'll b._t. clergy and weddings could be reversed at that time but the more conservative churches from outside the u._s. are the ones with growing membership by next year they'll probably have even more representation so the prospect of reconciliation is likely to be even more remote tom gjelten n._p._r. news This is NPR news. support "Hundred. And I need that guy. Drive time sports here on Xtra sports thirteen hundred much going on in the world of air force athletics. Good week for the basketball team. And I think officially a week in the books for spring practice for pretty close to that. Anyway, for the football team who better to go over both of those things than the air force beat writer for the gazette Brent Brigham in Brandt. How are you today? I'm doing just fine. How are you? I'm doing fantabulous. Couple of couple of performances. Look the basketball team was close at UNLV. But I think at the end of the day that might be more of a disappointing result than than an encouraging one. And then obviously, Utah state was just too much for them. But now they bounce back with a couple of wins. Fresno's the one that sticks out first win. I think since the Clinton administration what went right for them and Fresno that allowed them to win that game. Well, the president went something like nine and a half minutes without a basket in the first half. And I got up I think it was seventeen four minutes four and a half minutes to go. And then they they tried to make it an interesting as possible by making much free throws. But they finally at the end, you know, I think made their last five and were able to survive with a three point win. But just like the San Diego State win that got him going Spicer leaving. It was a defense that really kind of set the tone in that, you know, who knows how much of that just Fresno having a bad night. How much of that of their poor seraphic? But you know, I mean, generally teams not shooting well against you. You have something to do with it. And so I think in that case airforce kind of you know, made it breaks on that game. Did Lavelle Scotty deserve to be the mountain west player of the week. Washer thought. So I mean, I don't know what else you can do for your that guy. I mean, he. What point game which I mean? That's that's an astounding figure player this week. I mean, he had fifteen in that win at president. He had twenty five on Saturday. Hold San Jose State. But still that's a team that took him to double overtime. I meeting points the two games. I think you averaged around seven half four, and like you said I mean are playing well that one three or five one of those losses was that overtime or that loss that UNLV about thirty seconds left game against Utah state. I mean. Yeah. Utah state a great, but they also benefited from a lot of luck with some downs. And they they converted. I think twenty points on second chance opportunity to overcome that when the team. It's just really good. So anyway, you look at the body of work really last twelve games, especially west five. Scotty first team out west type guy with what ways reclaiming all thought. This was the week. They might finally walk Magner post player, but didn't happen. What to ascend state player? They did beat Fresno. They went to another this week. So, you know, it's not like San Diego State doesn't have the the case to say, hey, one of our guy's lives. But I I just thought this was the week air force might get that last week. You wrote about where where's that next score is Kayla? Do you think that you've seen enough last week out of Kayla Morris to think that he might be able to be that guy? Him right now. Wall going into the year. The leading score. Which is of course, now about studies. The best score. They've had in decades. Maybe even more. I mean starting to surpass Michael Lyons. But k with more this. Steep group was sitcom about Scotty long swamp. Sean Brown over came more. So it's the best score prep. School means the best shooter. He's able to get a he's got a quick shot. You can get to the rim. Kind of do everything. You want out of a score for thirty on occasion, the top school almost excited about especially among the group. And then didn't do it. He he really fairly played as a freshman as a sophomore. He was kind of a bit player until the very end. And then he came on Aubert's about ten points for the last five or six games. Really can have that look going into this year? And then just again was inconsistent. Just not a guy you could depend on. And so now, he's. Some somewhere in the neighborhood of fifteen points per game over the last two, and he's really kind of become not just a fourth score the right up there. Number two or fleet on courses so much better. When they have that when they can get score on the criminal. Gotta get another guy. You have to defend especially when it takes brushoff AJ Walker the freshman point guard walking hummus. Four points. I think but he had Tennessee's not turnovers. So when you get a point guard is able to do that because he's got so many scores around him teams, really good, especially in that point. Also happens to be guy who can put up some points a game when he needs to. So that was the only long answer to say, yes, I think. He has emerges that guy. And I think they needed him to. And I think he started to do it. And I think that's also why in addition to without study just kind of turning that corner from good to great. I think is why air forces really looking like a team you wouldn't wanna claim not much tournament. How many of these last three remaining games do think air force can win? Or will win. I don't know. I could totally see them going on three. You know, a lot of times nothing given about going to Wyoming on the other hand, they they're a better team than Wyoming easily this year. They grew up there and just remotely play like the camera. I think they win that game. And then you come home, and he played the Vada nine o'clock on Tuesday and a game the academy's probably gonna pull some stops and get a whole cuts out there like we did against UNLV on the counter playing like a wounded duck right now, just never know. What's going to happen? If you for that. Give them a home while Hong. Against a team. That was a good match up holes time for thirty to thirty one. Thirty two minutes. Normal or and then they go to Boise in a game that fits up could be for the number six seed, which means it's Oakland, San Jose State, which is. Best thing to a by. You know, there's a lot. Game too. So enforcing that. I could police here for going on. I could definitely see him going one or two to one. And I won't think who knows. Over to football before. I let you go who or what has stood out over the first week of spring ball. Just not. Finally falls on. Donald hamid. After all. Looks looks like it's very obvious. He is starting. So that's been one thing. Tailbacks haven't main tailback all catering's wearing hasn't really been challenged. But dust owner is a tailback his pads. Books like a golf pull along. And he's just one of those kind of kept my eye on the best players in that class. Trae sorting Jackson, co two wells. They seem to kind of be a group. And Josh donor was always with them. You know, they came up to someone came up with taps call. These guys are sticking with a player and just in from Washington injuries. And you know, a lot of depth ahead of him. Now. While all just equation home, looking for a number two tailback and the guy who could get. Want keep? And so therefore so often he's wondering keep them on David Cormie the receivers. Now, the cookie you when he signed he will. He's guy. Cold northwestern cancelled because he was playing there force was stuck basketball player wants one of those bombs of war. Trump on. Be tough. When he started the whole team. Well, you want to keep an eye on. Attentively? You know, we've seen all walls so small really hoping to use that horrible got events. Sanford. Look he's been all along the ball was kind of a long one. What's supplemental next? You know, otherwise. Time to time. Multi-modal also Cornwall home. But at this point. For all things air force. Make sure you follow brand on Twitter at Brent Brigham in. And then read him imprint and online at gazette dot com. Brand enjoy Laremy and will chat soon. Yep. Br impregnated joining us here on drive time sports coming up next. What has changed for the Colorado Avalanche over the last week and a half who better to ask than the radio voice will today t television voice of the Colorado Avalanche. Connor mcgahey joins me next here on Xtra sports thirteen hundred. From the chief vapor traffic center, here's an Xtra sports look at the streets. It's quiet on the roads, no accidents or stalls reported. I twenty five to and from Denver and Pueblo into this moving along nicely, of course, that could change quickly people keep you up to date. Heads up on this oral Blanco between south carefree circling south Diego way, I still.

"Am really battles though from Seattle. There's like this chocolate shop telling me about that for you will about though, and I do want to make a priority is that cancer patients our vets with PTSD or people with migraines or chronic illness who are under a state, licensed doctors care. I don't see any reason they shouldn't be able to have this. And it gets really frustrating. These people get keep getting denied that for the governor on a hot button did not even mention it. That's kind of frustrating. Well, the thing is if you if you mentioned it in your thirty minute address, actually, thirty two minutes at a time in your thirty one thirty two minute address, it now becomes part of the story and the narrative like, for example. You wanna talk about teacher pay? Never teacher pay bias crimes bias crimes DCSS DCSS. But if you everywhere come out mention and say, I see their support medical marijuana that now becomes the story and use it for state of state address that is usually as your one time where an executive officer addictive fischel can actually control and dictate. The narrative is what everybody else will be talking about. Which is why the teacher pay thing was sort of the new. You know, new new shiny object and all the other stuff just kind of fell into place in a mansion. I mean, not even have any keeps saying, oh, yeah, I'm it. But it's the federal government's fault. Wouldn't that have been a great opportunity for him to stand up? If he really was for it and say, I am for this. Here's why I can't do it. You write your congressman you write President Trump you tell him to do. So we can do that. Mom. Sure. That'll probably be the say of the state address.

"Lansing dot com to book today and travel simplified so Kevin in terms of scores where he got around the big ten Maryland picked a key road. Win at Minnesota improved a foreign one in the conference has Maryland eighty two Minnesota's sixty seven up at the barn. In Minneapolis in top twenty five action on top ranked Duke picked up their first road win of the year winning Wake Forest eighty seven sixty five. Five Tennessee, eighty seven Missouri. Sixty three on Texas Tech beat Oklahoma sixty six fifty nine and North Carolina went on the road NC state. That's now a thirteen and two NC state team. Carolina wins on the road on ninety two eighty two. So kind of a late night here here on a Tuesday night only to big ten teams to big ten games in action. But but certainly certainly good for us. I'm surprised by that Minnesota game a little bit. Yeah. It's an interesting matchup. Minnesota kinda wanna rock fight last week with with Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin kinda able to to rebound back, but but as much as as much as people wanna talk about how difficult it's going to be to win on the road in the in the big ten the part that comes with a twenty game schedule is there's some desperation when you go on the road. And and and when you start to assume that that your home court automatically gives you an advantage. That's where you have a chance to get got. And and there's gonna be a lot of desperate teams that Iraqi. Losses over the next eight weeks, or so that that I think we're going to see a little bit to a little bit more of some road wins between some good teams, maybe this year that kind of a bold prediction. But we'll see. I hope you're Reich is we have for the next five on the road that that's a segue. If I've ever seen there you go. What was Naga by the numbers with the MSU Federal Credit Union show. Your Spartan spirit with the AmEx UFC Sparty visa debit card. Open your checking account at any campus branch and walk out with your car immediately. Well, the big story was the defensive MSU employed. Purdue Carson Johnny American garden. He's a good, buddy. Only have eleven points in this is low market the entire season. I withdraw points. Ryan Kline does to the top guys under their average. But there are surprised guy was trevy on Williams. The big freshman post players six ten from the fury at twelve point check at thirteen points, twelve rebounds. Those your career marks both ways in the first double double the freshman's career. At Purdue asked for issue. A lotta guys scored tap score. For Michigan state caches Winston at four threes. He had twenty three points five assists in really on comedy at five turnovers. Yeah. A lot of those were early as as well where he was kind of caught in some some tough places Purdue picked up picked him up full court with no gel eastern who's one of the better guards defensively in the big ten. So with sixteen points, Nick ward, he had nine rebounds. Kennedy goin-, eleven rebounds, seven time. He's been a double digits in that category and sexist only one turnover seven points, three blocks, two steals. I would call that a good day. He basically had everything except the Partridge in a pear tree. It was it was quite the night for for Kenny DuPree. Thirty two minutes. Yeah. So see others who played and scored Colorado is good for four points and coach shocked about tough week with a bad back. Mad mcquaid bizarre player of the game. And also Tom Izzo 's player of the game. And it's not because he had nine points and three long winter drop. It's because of the unbelievable defense. He played against all American. Carson Edwards have produced. Jeff forced to forced Edwards held Edwards to three for sixteen from the field to thirteen from from three. Did it without fouling him as well Edwards? Only get to the line four times forced four four Carson Edwards turnovers. We talked about how the all American was was so much the the key to everything that they do. And and limiting those touches really really put the Spartans in a good position defensively, so others who played and scored for Michigan state. Aaron Henry who plays in good D as well as good for four points. Zabre Tillman five boards eleven points. Gay Brown had along with drop. He took one shot made it he had three ended up. Seventy seven for Michigan state, shooting wise, the Purdue de Purdue offense struggled with the MSU defense only shooting thirty one point three percent from the floor. Twenty two point six percent from three point range, and that's Canadair game. They couldn't even make free throws in this room shooting. Fifty four point five percent of Lebanon. Twenty two on upset MSU comes into this game. By the way, the second best shooting team in the big ten forty four point eight percent, thirty three and a third from three point range nine and twenty seven. But boy this free throw shooting is really stepped up at eighty four point two percent for the game. And and Kevin when you talked about how you know ward went six for six look at the entire front line going to for to ward six or six, and then you have three out of four when the banks are going to get fouled, the most converted that level. It's hard not. To win a game here, and that's twenty two out of twenty six now over the last two games for ward and Tillman, and we asked coaches Izzo, relative to some of them being front of one and ones that that that first shot really counts counts for two. That's a lot of points that are that are being racked up at the at the foul line by the front court this game only had one lead change believe it or not the Boilermakers got off fascinated by led by seven nine two to MS. You start chipping away got his biggest lead at nineteen. But the game was really tight until the very end. This was a game, and I credit Purdue. Because even though they were down at halftime thirty nine twenty six man, they did not give up the ghost at all. And when we got down to nine or so point you're going. I don't feel so good about this thing. Yeah. It was a little bit of Iraq fight and two in Michigan state really locked down defensively late actually outrebounded Purdue thirteen three over the last seven and a half minutes of the game Purdue missed eleven of their last twelve shots in the game. So Michigan state really locked up a locked up defensively in that too. And that was what it was able to put it away late, by the way, it's time for our ramtruck Spartan tough defensive performance of the game. This is a no brainer. I think. Mcquaid? Yeah. Adequate RAB trucks def defending guy of the game. He was. Are there any other awards? We can give Matt tonight. I mean. Heck, let's let's give them the defensive player of the year award. We could and he gets a free dawn if it goes, the Tim Horton's new one that is coming full circle..

"Going to land on the moon tonight. They're going to probably land on the moon later tomorrow. They're going to land on the moon with the little Rover. And it's called the four. I hope I'm pronouncing that right? The for. It's it's not like the ultimate Tuli. It's not it's not new horizons. Which by the way, I want to let you all know that tonight during the hour with Richard Hoagland, we're going to debut on this show debuted anywhere else. We're going to debut on this show. The new Bryan may song. By queen. It says Queen, but it's Brian May, of course, Brian May's written several songs about space like thirty nine and others. We played on the show. Brian May has a new song called new horizons. It's amazing. And we're going to be playing that. Because of course, new horizons. Came down and landed on ultimate Cooley and it happened like thirty two minutes. Thirty three minutes at an more or less give or take a few minutes after the ball drop to New York. But see the feeling gets me. Is what ultimate fooling means? I mean, I was very surprised that they use that term ultimate throughly. There's actually a skinhead group called Altima. Totally. Did you? Yeah. I mean society throughly society the Nazis the race. And that's the thing is that. I just wonder is NASA going back to their Nazi routes. I mean, what what what does this mean? Right. But it also is an ancient term to identify forbidden zone or with the borders are dangerously forbidden. And it's where the dragons dwell gates, so duly is the place where the dragons dwell, so we go to ultimate you'll you're going to a an asteroid out in space where the dragons dwell. Kind of bizarre Elon Musk space x he's going to launch a crew dragon spaceship, he's sitting into orbit from Cape Canaveral Florida. The vehicle was designed and built happening. I think later on this month. January seventeenth. I think he's going to do this just before the moon turns to blood we're going to be sending up the dragon. It's called the dragon spaceship it'll be going into orbit from Cape Canaveral. The space vehicles designed and built for NASA to help replace the agency space shuttle fleet which is retired in two thousand eleven the eventual goal is to get astronauts to and from the international space station. And this way, we won't have to rely on the Russians. The send them so with all the bad blood. We have with Russia. I'm going to try and be independent. And so we're gonna have the dragon. The dragon crew dragon astronauts out into space dragons in space, the idea of the. The dragons in space idea and the rocky borders with a dragon's dwell. It's just once again part of the NASA medieval apocalyptic, sign language, they give. And it's I I know that Richard Hoagland talks about it. But I've seen it too. The idea stuck with me about this dragging in the sky. And the reason why is because well, I mean out your bible out your good book. And you talk about the war in heaven were Michael the archangel fights with the dragon space in heaven. You know, it struck me as odd that this Nazi terminology. You so easily used to describe this rock the snowman red snowman like rock and all those connections to forbidden zones outside the borders were dragons await and there's actually a death metal actually black metal symphonic black metal band called balsa Goth. And they have a song called star fire burning upon the ice veiled throne of ultimate Tuli. And. The lyrics lead. Nothing the imagination about a war that starts from a sign in the heavens. Namely, the sign of ultimate thoroughly and says spears a gleam in the dying sun, the blood is spilled the battle's won from the icy throne of God king shall rule when nine stars kiss the moon or Altima fool. That sounds like something out of HP lovecraft spears a gleam in the dying sun, the blood is spilled the battle's won for the icy throne. Oh, God king shall rule when nine stars kiss the moon or ultimate Thule. It's a nightmare is what it is the song is more or less. A story said symphony about the blood that falls from the spears in the north of the star lords the descend upon the planet during the side of the blood moon. I mean, it's pretty cool. You don't mind that rumor Arar, I don't mind that what is the death metal because I do listen to death metal idol listen to black metal. But I have listened to death metal groups like cannibal corpse and others. I've listened to his bands wash. I mean, come on. I'm in radio to listen to these bands. All the time you meet the guys are really cool guys and his love to do the death penalty stuff. It's really it's really amazing. So they come on. I went to war barred Virginia. Hi, guys, Virginia, the guar bar Garzon wars, not really death metal. But I mean, it's the closest you get without getting all the way into the scary stuff. I mean, it's like kisses your gateway drug been guar. Then of course. This band, this this ban, the writes about be altuva fool? I like saying rather than to Lee sounds really weird say, it's how you say of Tuli. But they rhyme. It was rule. So it's gotta be ultimate fool. Spears a gleam in the dying on the blood is spilled the battle's one from the icy throne of God king shall rule when nine stars kiss the moon or ultima Thule. You know, it's it's pretty much a story said to symphony about the blood that falls from the sky or talks about these. The star lords that arrived to swamps in the moon frost, an icy winds. Our Blazon flying iron gleaming need the stars black skies ablaze with Astro fire white wolves like silent spirits. Haunt us ever northwards the ice. Jim leads us glimmering powerful spells entwine, the shrine of legendary mighty gates a frozen splendour looming. When the moon stars shine as one upon the snow's the ancient ice skate opens. The prophecy is fulfilled. Welcome to ragnarok. Welcome to ragnarok. I am your host, Mr. Rourke. I'm your host. And here's tattoo. Depress. Depress. Its. It's pretty pretty scary. Ragnarok fulfilled in the winter of the red moon is the ninth stars kiss ultimate fool. Which is also pretty damn coincidental. Because on January twenty first twenty nineteen the moon begins to emerge from the shadow, creating the lunar eclipse. The super moon will turn to blood. They're calling this the wolf moon. White wolves like silent spirits. Haunt us ever northwards the ice. Jim leads us glimmering powerful spills entwine the shine of legendary shrine of legendary mighty gates a frozen splendour looming when the moon stars shine upon the snow's ancient ice skate opens. The prophecy is fulfilled. He says a coincidence. I mean some weird joke that Nassar's playing on. I mean, come on. Is this some sort of know indication or some sort of a concocted. You know? Convoluted way of telling us that there's gonna be a war in space in two thousand nineteen. I don't know. Because I was reading about Colorado. I was talking to a guy today. I was trying to do some. Doing it was calling for some, you know, money thing, and I was talking to some guy in Colorado. And I hope he's listening names Mitch have a Sunday Mitch. So that's why I remember the name Mitch if you're listening tonight, I say Hello to you. You're in Colorado. It's funny because in Colorado, the government has secretly been training men to fight what are called space aggressors. So what they do is. They run these space aggressor attacks are simulated attacks on computer. And you have the twenty six and five hundred twenty seven the five hundred twenty seven th space. Aggressor squadrons are headquartered in a warehouse at Shriver airforce base two story warehouse, the twenty six and five hundred twenty seven space aggressor, squadrons Shriver air airforce base. There stocked with Vance radio and satellite equipment. And they are nicknamed there at a place called the barn. So they called the barn. And there are plenty of antenna dishes and. All kinds of arrays in what they do is. They are like tracking the sky. They tracked the sky then every once in a while they have a space aggressor drill. And so, you know, we've simulated space aggressor drills are going on up there all the time because they are all pretty much practicing for the real attack from space aggressors. And you know, when they say, well, where would the space aggressor team people? Go sure. But no, the US military a lot of the senior US military and intelligence officials. They warned that the threatened space or the threat from space aggressors, it's very real. America relies heavily on space. We know this right. We know that space assets that are out there. They're out there because they want to project force around the globe from launching missiles, directing worships across the oceans, so global positioning systems GPS there's actually thirty one high orbiting satellites owned by the US government operated by the US air force that are actually helping guide warships and planes, and everything and some worry that disrupting America's vast network of satellites and ground based systems could send US forces back to an antiquated air of targeting communications and navigation systems, which would deeply undercut battlefield superiority. So they have to keep their presences space pretty damn tubby pretty tough about it up there. Last year. Vice Admiral Charles Richard was deputy commander, the US strategic. Command that strat com told the conference in Washington DC, there is most definitely a threat in space that will eventually have to be confronted. Now. Of course, he's reds can be anything from killer satellites jamming mechanisms however since the Pentagon's UFO threat assessment program was revealed by the New York Times space aggression takes on a whole new meaning for twenty nineteen. Vice Admiral Richard pointing to press reports that China is developing an arsenal of lasers electromagnetic rail guns and high powered microwave weapons to neutralize America's intelligence communications and navigation satellites. Stratacom commander General John heightened told the Senate committee hearing he said in addition to bolstering defense is we have to build an offensive capability to challenge. Their capabilities in space as well. So everything points to a war and have is.

"thirty two minutes" Discussed on Skip and Shannon: Undisputed

"None of that. He missed layup. Power through somebody's give he ain't give you the almost, you know. You know, just what you see is what you guys five steals last night five eight assists last night, six more rebounds. I've told you before I'm saying this last year as he matures physically could someday he average a triple double could it'll be in the teens. He'll average fifteen points, eleven rebounds, and twelve assists. Something like that. But but again could he do Jason Kidd triple dose for all year? Yeah, he could. And the thing is get base should be a top five assist team. Because you have you always going to have three great ball handle on the court at any given time. And at least two Rondo can handle the ball. Lebron can handle the ball. Lonzo can handle the ball. All of those guys are high assist guys. So you should be in the mid twenties on every give a night. And if a just right like Phoenix, you should be in the thirties. But they got a lot of guys that can mishit offense who's making take off and go, Josh heart land, Stevenson dance. I live gonna have this day. Oh, he would kill you. Hated that guitar legend when you've Indiana, but he was doing a you. Remember that place get he feeling good about himself. He lost the ball. He got it back. He lost it again. Got it back through a shot at one of the ref to bail them out. Now, but he was unbelievable last night. But I believe Lonzo should be moved into the starting lineup until the until so do I so what shocked me on opening night at Portland was that Luke Walton made sure that Lonzo got nineteen minutes. Now Rondo played thirty two minutes. Orlan and he was good. He was driving force. Right. But nineteen minutes for Lonzo. Remember coming off arthroscopic surgery. And so he had some minutes restriction. But then against the rockets in the fateful brawl game. It was thirty minutes for Rondo to twenty six for Lonzo. Remember, he got tossed. So he didn't get to finish at thirty four minutes because that was four thirteen left. Remember, Lou won't say Lonzo is gonna play somewhere between ten and thirty minutes a night. He did will be voting for thirty thirty three thirty three last night. Why not which brings us to the quandary that will get dumped on Luke Walton head. How do you keep Rondo happy just as? Pure backup. I just don't think that direct deposit. These should be happy. We try to win games. He's built like guess what? He going to be like that. Because we listen the guys are in playing times give he's showing he can do and he can play up the ball. What is Wanda going to do if you're going to allow LeBron to be the point forward moving forward? And I believe a lot of it will be him being the point forward. What does Rondo do? He doesn't play well off the ball. And he doesn't play all that. Well on the other end either in Lonzo can really. Yup. Yes. And their commitment to defense at Phoenix. And last night, it was pretty impressive. And you know, what I like skip when LeBron James check back in the ball game. I don't know if you noticed this because you don't have fold full K D. I got one of them. What LeBron do he pointed that joker? I did. He got he will he's going to have to guard him. He's going to take the whole. If you don't do that. The mere fact you said he doesn't play anybody. Then what did Joe could do? Well, it's just his man. He's point like I got the five guide. He'll K. Yeah. I got joker. Did did you fail about five times? Do not back down back down back from down. Then just joke with him. Got no breath. Okay. Wrong brick. Lebron a broad? We'd be able to to grow bolder grail. I think he got on the vibe. Michael Bey was no right off skew. Yeah. It's only one that work out. I didn't say. Out work out hard tunes help. They don't need. No hail God-given turn up. Green colour bread. You see? It's the metal be putting us together. They had baked Jim green beans on a good old stuff. Then have a little wine and a cigar. And you're good for the nine five. With five by tonight. Are you might just do that getting there?.
