I told her. I wasn't going to happen. You follow what we talk until you tell you about. You'll be back on the boardwalk. It takes you eight miles to get back onto the boardwalk by the way so she ran news. Eight miles never got swept up. And when i went back to go get her come. I've somehow we pass each other. What i do is i run my race and i am once recover. I go back to get the members and she She was how. How can i put it. She was she went past each other. Somehow so i called her on a phone. Where are you at. I'm coming to get you. See the bridge and i knew if she saw the brigden. She's behind me so i went to go back to. The bridge is by the star and the finish line. So i'm thinking not. She is just now moving away from the start in line. You know what i mean like. We have to cross the start line. Go a couple of miles out and then have to turn around to go to the finish line. So when she says she saw the bridge but she didn't see the You know the finish line. I was like oh. She's heading in my direction. So i turned around. She was like oh now. I see the finish line sheet in sheet on flew through that thing guys so proud of ellen murphy thank you so much for signing up to our online coaching and taking this on meeting us we actually allen stayed the weekend at bally's that's where the race was and we went to breakfast. Lisa diaz brian. Melissa myself and ellen. We all went to breakfast and had a good time at if you ever come to atlantic city to this marathon you want to go to gilchrist's amazing food amazing food. What else can i say guys. Jamie burke crossed us. She took like fourteen minutes off of our time or something crazy she was. She's been training hard working like a beast Doing these different drills and making sure that that she is going to turn the best time and boy did she ever. What an amazing job Matt airs shot out the hem his very first very first half marathon. He was going for under two hours on the first try to do was out here monster in his workouts. He turned in six twenty nine mile leading up to the half marathon. And guess what he did or raise day. He did a two hour and thirty eight seconds. He was so close so close to doing that. Two hours but guess what baby. That's what gives you the motivation for the next time. Keep focus qian right. Keep training keep going to the gym. Another reason why. I i wanted to get my strength. Training back into the routine is because matt was going to the gym five. Am i don't have time to go to the gym. Or i don't choose to go to the gym rather do some workouts at home and You know working with mushroom training. So that i can power through even stronger the next time but matt gave me that motivation man. He was out there killing it on his very first. Try got two hours and thirty. Eight seconds Let's go to meredith. Hamlet enorm- mccoy. Let me tell you something. I love how mariners shows up for herself. She's very busy. Mother wife you know kids and swimming and everything like that. Sometimes she can't always come out to train is with us. But i'll tell you something when she shows up to a race he's always looking to inspire always looking to motivate whatever member needs. How getting through that race and my boy norm and mirror. They ran side by side and afterwards when me enormous chilling having our beer stuff he was saying look you know i may not have gotten through this without meredith so shots both them love them very much awesome. Runners love the program. Because you have people like that that is always there ready to support each other and I'm proud of both of them. And now let me go to let let me give a shout out to jean burke. She showed up on sunday to do the ten k. She was like one of the first members. Show up you know. We had matenaer. We ellen but chris she was there as she always says staple of the organization smile on her face. Raider role Mother of three of four you know teenage triplets at home older son out the how but she just she just shows us what we're capable of with determination and she always she kept telling me roman smile put a smile on so much cheeks was hurting because i kept practicing smell but i never saw because we both were doing our own thing. So awesome job. Chris ballard but you know she she. She didn't come by herself. Her accountability partner katie showed up in balled out. I mean ran her heart out as well but i call them the three amigos because chris. Katie wasn't by themselves at least keating and let me tell you something. The pitchers of these three are phenomenal. They came across the finish line. All you know three of them holding hands putting their hands up so the the finishing photos was awesome speaking of finishing photos. Not only the craig helped me run my fastest half-marathon but i also had energy at the end to do a jump super jump for the foul for the photo as i come across the finish line. I jumped have on both arms up knees. Talk super high. Jump diane from the mike and diane show she was like oh how you feel it. You know what i mean. I was like i feel good so it was. It was high. It was real high. And then the sea that chris. Katie and lisa. Kaeding come across hands up. They were feeling super good. I loved it. Loved it litter. Let's go to leonard and last but not least we're gonna talk about leonard and marla. Okay rosenthal we had them on the podcast. These this couple is amazing. As i mean this has been doing triathlons Marla started when i say triathlons. She's as she's calls it. She labels it sprint marathon so it's a sprint marathon. Where most of. Its swimming a lot of bike in a three mile. Run so that's that's a sprint marathon. But so i. I go to give everybody lenders already. Coming back chris. Ballard was right behind him not too far behind him and then I saw meredith enor- day came through It took me a little while to recover. I'm not gonna lie to you. I gave it all my i. "Fired twenty-seven percent saying fangio fired eighteen percent. Say hey i think denver gets this thing back on track. Only nine percent think drew lock is to replace teddy starting quarterback teddy is blameless according to the hooligans today i don't think he's blameless i i just don't understand you know twenty four thirty eight two hundred eighty eight yards. He had a touchdown touchdowns he had the interception. Keep the beautiful. Throw to cortlandt son. That was an absolute beauty jam of a pass and it did show you teddy can do it. I think there's going to be times where teddy might be able to bring you back in games. I'm not counting on it. But i still. I still seeing a backup. Caliber type quarterback. I'm seeing a guy that's in a set. What is a seventeen games now. How still getting used to that. It seventeen game season. I absolutely believe you could go six two two nine games and you can have pretty good play from him that sometimes. That's the difference between a really good backup quarterback which is what ted he is. He's not just a backup. He's a really good backup and a great starter. A guy that's and when i say great starter i mean the guy that's he's going to be the starter for a very long time. He's he's doug i. Those guys can go of a seventeen game season which we haven't seen yet but if we're just doing sixteen those guys are typically giving you thirteen if not more. They're going to have two or three games in there where you just go. It was a rough night for him rough night for patrick mahomes last night against buffalo. I don't foresee that being a pattern. Kansas city certainly has some issues. But i don't. I don't see that as a pattern yet. So i i. I'm not saying drew lock. Should start against the raiders but the team that loses on sunday. We'll be five hundred.

"Best podcasting machine the least hype machine mop bread on these always trying kilo himself. Ed the newly big duck appalled. Wow hala if you hear him. Doc fees hill. Let me big suite for that. Why pop gonna be a big swing pounds like now and more knows but doing better than the bucks today. Picnic dan game. I knew it. I knew it. I saw having bright right. at least. You're not forty. Niners fans prematurely celebrating with what was thirty eight seconds to go. I feel like they do that every year. I feel i realized like a team with a great quarterback. Can when you get that happens. Every year. i'd happens every single year every single year with the forty niners have. That's not surprising. But let's at least you're not clemson tiger fans as i'm giving playoff june have been written in the death note in any cancel them. Competing for a national title has been absolutely deleted lead. It's gone so yeah. I was gonna say that. Actually watch more college football this weekend than i did. Nfl and i watched that whole clemson. Nc state game. In fact i clemson lost after. Nc state missed two field goals one during the third quarter and actually he missed three field goal. Yesterday yeah missed three juggles. Which is it was really really bad. And i was jokingly saying how is scholarship maybe revoked after this particular weekend but he hit the extra point in overtime so assume some of that has been redeemed yep partial maybe as he has a partial scholarship now but they won in a great overtime game. Some great catches. I didn't like the last play clemson ran. I thought they just needed to get the first down. It was four and five. I believe But it was a good shot. The guy was killing them all game deep so i don't blame them for taking a shot but ford wasn't five you get that first down each he going But shaq nc state for playing great defense at the end hannity retired. I know they were aching but it kept going but let's get some. Nfl really quickly. Start from the tap here. We had the cult's versus the titans boileau on. I think we both had tennessee winning. So no surprise there. The the trap game or the beginning of the trap games obviously for us. This is the fact. That the the falcons versus giants. I think we both take the giants to win. And we spoke so highly of daniel dimes. jones Try to give them the benefit of the doubt but on this day he did not see clearly. I mean he still had a pretty decent game. It wasn't like you know it was all on him like he had. There was a fumbled after a catch. He actually had two. Fumbles that occurred. It was an email. Who had the fumble by i mean again that really much you can do there. I mean he's still not he. Just have thrown touchdown passes like that's the hurts in. That's more on the weapons around him. That really is on him. So i mean there's a receiver out in new orleans who's been screaming. Get out maybe. The giants take a shot. They take stan. At bringing in michael thomas you know see would deffers hurt right. I mean green bay. Are they gonna re-signed about the atom then annot giants do you make a call it is it is But the next trap game here. I think this is two to three. Trappings in a row. We have the kansas city chiefs versus the los angeles charges. Really rough start for hattie mahomes. Which of course. Twitter will absolutely insane with the three turnovers in the first half for the chiefs. And i think i saw a article about patrick mahomes brother pouring water on the fans and you might face some charges for that. Instagram went crazy with that. Yeah i don't know. They were saying that he could face up to ten years or point of water on fans. And i'm just like coming that assault. I guess is so crazy. You ten years reported water on somebody in the us right. Yeah no games and soccer games in other countries in if it's going it's just move. Essentially e yeah. It's when you day four touchdown zero pigs twenty six thirty eight. I mean said he's not a back. What about you in the back. What a bag last season charges are good. Which is why. I expected landing in another year. I'm gonna kingsdown that hype train but obviously this was all about patrick. Mahomes throwing the two picks right still three touchdowns still ran ball. One hundred yards I mean travis cousy still head you know so. They still dominated offensively. I just think was two turnovers. Hurt early maple. Yeah big time. Big time. And i mean i. I don't see any sax on the board so it wasn't like you know the officer not played horrible. It's just it just wasn't listen to play catchup. This could be what we're what we usually don't call a super bowl hangover. They didn't win. But you know this could be a super bowl hangover. and they. They changed their offense. Alana changed some pieces. They lost a weapon. I'm c. sammy. Watkins was a big part of their offense last year. I know it didn't seem like it but so we walk as quite a lot of the inside passes and they're still trying to find that person so this could also be something where they're missing. Sammy watkins as well. And i think they'd had robinson also he played. I thought i thought he actually got. He left.

"The debut episode of we got next here on the ma fighting podcasting network which will be an interview type podcast. I know a lot of people have been wondering when we got to do another interview. Show mike in his right now. But this show in particular. We're going to be focusing on fighters that are looking to make that step or are currently making that next step in their mixed martial arts careers first of all. I am mike. Thanks for checking out the show and to give sort of the cliff notes explanation of the format on this program for the most part this is going to be a look at the up and coming talent in the sport of mixed martial arts. I have been saying forever when people ask for advice and all that to interview everybody interview the prospects. That's what this show mostly is gonna be about talking to names. You may not know about names you may about but these names are getting that spotlight. Finally making the most of their opportunities fighters you could see in a high level promotion or just competed for a high level promotion. All sorts of different ways different paths that we can take on the show. And i'm happy very excited. Actually to help shed some light on that talent on those fighters who have great stories and are ready to make their mark ready to make some big moves in the sport of mixed martial arts and this week on our first show. We have essentially exact opposite tales. Which will be a lot of fun to get into. So this show is going to drop every wednesday morning here on the emmy fighting podcast network and i'm fired up. Let us not waste any time. Let's get into this thing we get two interviews to get to and like. I said this week a little bit of a different direction than most weeks will be on the show so stay tuned and that's a rapid us up this week. We're going to talk to map a set. Thirty five pro fights. He had to fight in the ten fights. Bela tor but in the new england region i grew up lived in massachusetts for almost my entire life. Map is a name that is well known in the region and he's pretty much been the face of csm ama for a long long time. And i bet you're thinking to yourself. How does map a set. How does a guy with thirty five professional fights a guy that spent in the ufc guys offer bell or many times. How does matt fit in with the theme here. To be honest we kind of dozens but in a way he does because he's opening up a spotter to for the next wave of talent in the region because on friday the mangla set became a two division champion. He was already the featherweight champion. He took on ryan delacruz. In the main event of sixty four for the vacant lightweight title and matt went out there and dominated. It was one way traffic. He went on to submit delacruz with this really slick and nasty reverse triangle and in many people's eyes. It's definitely up there but a lot of people's is that was the very best performance a map sets career and a lotta people feel like he's in the best form of his career right now even then he gets on the microphone after the victory becoming a division champion and announced his retirement from the sport. So maps that's going to give his first interview since his sort of surprising announcements and in this conversation he reveals something. That's that's pretty shocking. About his fighting career over the last several years including his. Ufc run that he hadn't told anybody before outside of his coaches his wife people in his pretty small circle so stay tuned for that coming up a little later on a great interview with matt beset. I've been talking to matt for years and was very excited to get to chat with him. Post-retirement and you can judge for yourself. But i feel like this is a decision that's gonna stick but first kicking us off this week the very first guest on the show. There were some names. Some breakout performances. That had a lot of people in the anime space talking this past weekend. We see vegas thirty seven. We had delatour to sixty six. We had the belcher. Debut of your romero. Phil davis got the win. Anthony smith at a great performance but nobody had people talking in our great sport more about the ben parish aka big tuna big freaking tuna who kicked off the ballot or to sixty six main card on saturday showtime and as a seven to one underdog making his first ballot. Tour appearance goes out there and pulls off one of the biggest upsets in the company's history knocks out super prospect. Jon jones protege christian edwards and thirty eight seconds. And that's just part of the story because this guy is very unique. He's a character but in the best possible way. And like i said he's big frigging tuna. He is big tuna. And i really enjoyed this conversation. We talked about a lot of different things. We basically hit record and we got after it and we talked for almost forty minutes and it just kind of flies by because it's just so interesting and so fascinating. So the i guess in the history of we got next is big tuna himself ben parish after that. We'll hear from that beset and then we'll meet up once again to close out the show so here he is big tuna. We move ahead to in my opinion. The man who stock rose more than anybody's this past weekend regardless of promotion alatorre. Ufc any of them. Ben.

"Trying to make plays with his feet when you have that. College coach successful coach goes into the nfl urban meyer. What's the what's the wrong things for that college coach to do once against two an nfl locker room. The one wrong thing. I think we're seeing a lot of the wrong things. A lot of the difficulties from urban. Honestly i think the hardest thing for urban meyer is that he had no. Nfl experience and so the hardest thing then is hiring your staff and there were some whispers coming out this week already. That there was a lot of friction between the guys that he brought in from college that he was comfortable with that. He had a relationship with but he wasn't going to have to teach every single thing that he wanted to those guys and the guys that he brought in that had the nfl experience because it is a different culture in the nfl and college. There is a lot of different concepts and schemes. And how you want to run your practice. How you need to treat your players like a little bit more. Like professionals like men to get the most out of them and so i think the learning curve is already really steep when you're a coach that's met most of the time in college and you make that transition to the pro game. We've seen it so many times but it's even worse when you have no nfl experience because typically you're putting together a staff that has half the guys that are like your guys and then half the guys that are nfl guys that you don't really know that have been recommended for you that you've hired Without really having any relationship with and there's gonna be a lot of friction there there's going to be friction between the guys that were college coaches. That are trying to coach. The nfl players like they're still in college where it's more about trying to motivate them in a lot of different ways to get them to play hard whereas in the nfl out of those guys are self motivated and they're motivated by money. They're motivated by feeding their family. That are motivated because it could get cut at any moment. And so. I think it's a lot more about teaching at the nfl. Game and versus in colleges about motivating and developing and just teaching the values in the fundamentals of football artwork toughness bid on time. That doesn't really flies much in the nfl. You can see joe thomas. Nfl networks nfl. Game day kickoff. Thursday at six eastern ahead of the giants washington game on thursday night football. Do you think ron rivera brings cam newton. That's a great question. I i didn't hear what the injury situation to the big beard. Man is i. I know you heard his hip. But i'm not sure how long he's out. I still like fitzpatrick with that team. That defense is so good. I thought i'd keep played pretty well yesterday. at this point it's difficult to bring a quarterback have them learning entire offense and get on the same page with your pass catchers in less. You're going to bring in cameron. Say use your legs. We want you to scramble. Kinda change. You offense a little bit words more. Rpo type stuff quarterback power. Doing some of the things that he did new england. Then maybe you think about it. But i think if they're going to keep the same offense and continue to just try to throw the football then. I don't think it's a great fit good to talk to us always joe. We'll be watching on thursday night. Thank abutting awesome. Thanks dan that's joe thomas. Nfl network analyst former browns all pro offensive tackle and will end up in kenton in the hall of fame. Let's go around the room. Best in worse to the weekend. I'll start with fritzy todd. Best and worst of the weekend best of the weekend eighteen year old qualifier. Emma radha kanu wanna make sure. I pronounced that right wins the. Us open didn't lose even one set along the way and my nineteen year old layla. Fernanda showed great maturity and poise throughout the way they handle the media and the fans thought. That was pretty awesome worse than weekend. I'm giving it to western carolina and alabama state while you ask the catamounts lose to the sooners seventy-six. Nothing the hornets to auburn. Sixty two nothing. So if you're going to do the math at home one hundred thirty eight. Two zero combined come on now. They got a nice pay day to be humiliated in such fashion. Nobody watched more tennis from the women's side of the draw. Then fritzy did at the uso enthusiast Yes yeah yeah. of course. you didn't watch the men but boy did you watch the women's side of the draw great interviews and class. Yes all the way through teenagers to handle themselves like that very impressed. Thank you todd mclovin. He still doesn't know you're making fun. Now i know he does it. Play it along. i know what you're doing. Yeah my best is going to be elijah mitchell junior the third rookie running back san francisco. Proving anybody can run. Kyle chad offense went for over one hundred yards. My worst is going to be. What everybody's talking about conor mcgregor. Greg tries to fight machine gun kelly. At the vm. As last night because machine gun kelly would not give him an autograph apparently going. I'm sensing some sort of jake. Paul logan paul fight but it was the big weight with machine-gun kelly's not fighting anybody well conor mcgregor called him out said. Let's go because i guess. He asked me. She could kelly who i think. Maybe his son is a fan of or something for an autograph machine. Galley shot him down. Conor mcgregor through a drink at him and went beserk or perhaps a whole thing is set up. Something's going on there. No no machine gun. Kelly weighs less than his girlfriend. Megan fox i mean. How much did they kinda mcgregor ways. Mcgregor's a professional fighter. I mean machine gun. Kelly built like a corn stalk yes. Yeah he's he's like six four one twenty. He's as thin as a rail. And then plus it's kind of hard to be like all right. You guys wanna fistfight when the machine gun. Kelly's got like crystals glued all over his face wearing a stunning amount of makeup. And you're like yeah right. What's fight then. I guess. I guess machine gun kelly. Whose an artist by his musician case. You're not aware of machine gun kelly. And he's Goes out with the actress. Megan fox but i guess his security people were a little overly aggressive. With conor mcgregor. Conor mcgregor is walking around with a cane. He just hadn't surgery of month ago and doesn't he goes from zero to one hundred. Couldn't there be somewhere in between where you just go. Hey would love to get a picture and then the security guy pushes union like easy. I just want to get a picture with him. Not because i got a tag tarry up. I'd that's pretty good. Easy easy come on down. I get tired of conor mcgregor. His immediate reaction is throw drink. Yeah wow tough guy you through a drink at a guy. One hundred and twenty pounds. And he's there with his girlfriend and he's got glitter on. Wow wow tough guy. Just get. I get bored by conor mcgregor agai. I understood the whole you know whatever that world was when he was successful and you know. He hasn't been any good for a while he does stupid things. Do you have an an anything else. You've got seton o'connor best and worst my worst of the weekend and it's just punishing. It was absolutely crushing. Like watching my own son get benched. Brooke party iowa state. Not that your boy. That was just not the day. It's your boy. That was my guy that was my guy. He's still is.

"It had to be enough to support not just oscar but all of the stock personnel. He said on the day there were two stunt coordinators. The animal people oscar oscar stuck double and an nbc universal safety coordinator all up in the ceiling. Can you imagine that guy stay at work. I can't like he's not normally with us. He's just up in our ceiling. Now i can tell you that. I had to look up into the ceiling and it looked crowded. I get why someone might have missed a cat as it flew up there. Well we got a fan question from alex. M did oscar really fall through the ceiling. Yes well yes and no right. We pulled it off using both oscar and a stunt double radio on so i reached out to oscar and i was like oscar. You gotta tell us everything about the ceiling. Guess he gets asked us a lot and he sent in this audio clip. I had a stunt man had a a moroccan. He was he was. I think it was from moraga. Was he was a he was from He was a little shorter than me and he was a stop. Man i think he was jumping out from the whole and doing wonderful tumbles when he hit the ground ided did half of it heeded the really hard par was a very funny thing very complicated. I remember in one of the shots. I made steve laugh. Because one of the ways that i was coming down from the roof on one of them they had a big abbar up their lord me slowly through the whole and that was a funny way to come down when i eye contact with steve. Just hanging there with a straight face. Of course he laughed and then they have another way to bring me down which was a leap down. But i i would just like one of the things we try to just like being lowered down from the thing which did make sense but was very funny. Do you remember that. I remember it either to it was very weirdly matrix. It was an oscar. Was slew hiring slowly. What was that. Tom cruise movie where you slowly lowered himself down like was like slowly coming out of the ceiling. It looked crazy and oscar of course did not break because he never broke but all the rest of us were like. We can't possibly continue as if that's physically possible. And steve broke. You know it looked ridiculous. Well let me break it down for you for anyone who wants to follow along at two minutes. Thirty eight seconds. The real asker is standing on his desk and he pushes up the ceiling tile at two minutes forty three seconds for that beat of oscar actually jumping up and pulling himself into the ceiling. That's his stunt double. You'll notice you don't see his face. His doubles name was d. nam-woo and to pull this off. I guess alidina had to wear a safety harness underneath his oscar wardrobe and it had this cable that went up through his harness to a pulley that was manned by two guys in the ceiling and after he would jump these guys would like hoist them up using this poli. You gotta trust the is in the ceiling. Don't you then at two minutes. Forty eight seconds. We see the real oscar again. He's up there in the scaffold. Looking down he was also secured by a harness and a cable just to make sure Finally at three minutes thirty three seconds oscar appears to break through another ceiling panel over by the kitchen near creates task. That's his stunt doubles. Legs kicking creeds reaction to me. Sorry go on and at four minutes six seconds. That is when the stunt team dropped real oscar onto the floor so many beats of the seen so many we haven't even talked about stanley's heart attack..

"Markets are pretty flat and what that probably is the fact that there's no huge news. No news economy this morning and investors are taking a cautious stance ahead of what could be a market mover in news on friday. That's the august jobs report so this morning. The dow industrial average is down forty five points. That's a little bit over a tenth of a percent. Three thousand five hundred fifty four the snp down six points at four thousand five hundred twenty two the fact that the snp has held over four thousand five hundred is a bullish indicator according to many analysts. The nasdaq fifteen thousand to twenty seven down. Thirty eight two tenths of one percent yield on the ten year one point two eight west texas intermediate crude oil sixty eight fifty four down sixty seven cents and bitcoin forty seven thousand eight hundred forty one dollars. That's down one point three percent about six hundred sixty bucks. Fridays august jobs report could be the market mover of the week and it could be positive it could be negative what our analysts expecting. What our economists. Expecting dow jones polls economists and what they came up with on this one fridays august jobs report seven hundred fifty thousand new jobs created by the economy with the unemployment rate dropping from five point. Four to point two percent will see what the actual numbers are friday morning at six thirty. And we'll have them for you right here in was listening some analysts this morning just kind of scoping the breaking news and it seems though as well. They're continuing to mop up in louisiana southeastern louisiana Course you you had so many areas so hard hit and including a new orleans. We had talked about the fact that does so much of oil production as precautionary action was taken off line and there were also concerns about the damage to production facilities but listening some analysts this morning saying that they expect that damage to be minimal and that those Production facilities both on and offshore. We'll be back online in no time. Shorts that means gas prices are going to drop soon right. Da one has a limited effect. Goes up really really and okay Couple of points i. It's not their first rodeo. I mean they built these installations in the gulf knowing about the history of hurricanes knowing it's hurricane alley the knowing that and yeah there have been some horrible Things in the past dozen years But every time that happens it gets stronger and stronger and stronger..

"One point. Four whatever helping the accurate Like when he was in that role may tougher because he didn't understand exactly with mccain. Was it like you know. So i think offense they really wanna see how he fits on those guys defensively. The the switch and bill is there. You know the logs are there too so laugh. Arousa play finisher Like if you want someone else's roller and then maybe a good short roll passer than he can get clocks in the ball in the dunker spot. He's good there but yet some get a lot of struggles when you know he was the main roller there and someone else tagged with things like that so i just think his own health in them better health around him will will be a big boom by love. Rice on flash. Latitude wasn't consistent. But i don't think it's all his fault also just how age brigham he's just a younger in the nba trying to figure out his his role in the contender. That's a really tough thing to ask on the fly given how how many different lineups planning not. Yeah definitely and one thing. I'm interested to see this next year like parties. I liked claxton a lot. He was one of the few guys in that draft class that i watched like He was kind of georgia's point guard. he was there which was very awkward. But like it's just intriguing lake. He took threes when he was there. I don't know if that's going to happen with brooklyn like i. Don't i imagined. They're going to prioritize the regular season. Get a high seed in some ways. So i don't know if we're going to see any kind of experimentation with with nick claxton but like maybe he starts to take some stuff from the corners because i don't think he took any very few three slash repeated. Take any six or seventies taking to yourself. Yeah it's not been a lot and it's one of the things that i've always wondered like okay. I think that he has decent touch like he's shown propensity do it before does happen the nba. Because i think his handles at a stage where like you could see him. Maybe attacking closeout if he's playing against fives like He's definitely an interesting guy. Especially because of. How good is defenses Random question do you think. He's the starter this year or who. Who would you start the five minute. Because they didn't start 'em in this sort of blake of the Around if i recall Yeah let's Because their defense was really good in the second run against milwaukee was really impressed with some of the schemes. And things terrible do i. I think he will start. Because i think he makes a ton of sense with more often to firepower around him in an in that brooke buck series. Just didn't have the hardin. They only other big throughout their for thirty eight seconds. It was So i think he will start maybe because some projection on their part but also i think he does make sense and i don't think you want overwork. Blake are the reason blake was so good in that series offensively for a lot of it was because he able to play a smaller role in regular season And whatnot so i think that would make sense. You're gonna make five later. Because like of course blake is in agreement protector. But he's superstrong. Free mobile for five. Nam fatter is industrial. Probably if their health can race you offensively so I think he will start meaning. They clearly aren't very invest in young jordan. He played what like eight minutes. The final tuneup months of the year. Yes Understand what this i mean..

How all all they can actually do doesn't look like it from the results. It doesn't there are no teammates around him in the results So i think he simply right. "Chat ends nintendo podcast. I'm your host. Casey to fruit is and this week's specially three addition of nbc is a little different for the first half. We have our nintendo direct reaction. Show with zach ryan. Brian tahoe joke rebels and myself talking about the biggest nintendo announcements and info. We got from the nintendo direct and the three our tree house presentation. Then stick around for tom. Marks interview with nintendo's bill trenin neat bill door were they discuss time travel in zelda and the end of sama story. Let's get it started. Hello and welcome to e-3 twenty twenty one nintendo direct reactions show. I'm your host on tunnel. We just saw unintended direct plus treehouse presentation. All that fun stuff here. Unpacking are my friends. Casey to feed us zach. Ryan joe scrambles. What what else can we say. Let's get right into it. Breath the wild to we got new suffer breath of the while too. I thought we weren't going to. I thought this show is starting with the troll. But i think good i think it definitely. It definitely started with troll cruel and unusual that they would open with a shot of gannon door. Because we thought we'd get right into it. I don't want to boast. But i knew immediately that that was a reference to that terrible tech and tech and throwing off a cliff seen so controlled care if there is okay so i i really wanna talk to. I think we expect it to see it today. But i don't think we expected to see this much. This gave me chills. It made me tear up a little bit. I'm a grown man. I'm not afraid to admit that. I'm confident it will say there's there's so much to unpack here. We got these new mechanics new locations new weapons and stuff like that zach with you because twitter's already going crazy here with different theories that this feels like it's tying a bunch of different all the games i want to. I want to unpack something that you just said you said we. We didn't expect to see this much that trailers only two minute and thirty eight seconds long right now and it's part of the last part of that is just a shot of the castle raising the date supposedly coming next year and they said that they went out of their way to say that they're aiming for twenty twenty two which means you know. Maybe maybe not. We'll we'll see. But i think it's most interesting is all the theories that are flying around right now about. Is it set across multiple timelines playing different characters. How does it tie into these other zelda games because there's a lot of things that are pointing towards skyward sword obviously the idea that you're playing in the islands above high rule which as we know all the lands above high roll were featured as the sky lofton skyward sword. We are getting skyward sword of remastered version of here pretty shortly which is like. Oh should you brush up on your skyward sword lore as you get ready for a breath of the wild too because maybe they're tied closer together. We see a lot of stuff from That hints at potential ties to twilight princess. You know links Cybernetic arm here. Looks a lot like the stuff that we saw from twilight princess. But i think it's also important to remember that The original breath. The wild had a ton of other references to older zelda games the corex stuff tied to majorities mask different locations that were kind of burned out or or You know knocked down in in across this could be like it's all pure speculation and maybe this stuff that's tying in is just like nice women in a nod but it does have bigger ramifications on the story Obviously we're going to have to wait and see what that means. It did feel weird that we got skyward sword announced For switch when there are a lot more obvious. L. the games but maybe things are starting to connect now with all of this Casey one thing that i find really peculiar about this this trailer is it. We never really see links face and now there are tons of theories about what that means. Could we be looking like multiple link scenario. We've seen many links in the past before with four swords adventures. That's always a more sort of can't be approach And obviously we saw zelda in the original teaser for this game. what's going on with the playable character in this game. Yeah i noticed that too. That you never see links face in any of the game plan is which really weirded out but it looks like they're very distinctively two different characters. There's one lady we assume in the sky and another link of the ground harris But it looks like the one with the long hair that is up in. The sky primarily is arm however we do see the one on the ground. Have some attachments on the left arm. Artisan seem weren't anyway but he does use a flame for attachment which is pretty cool but there are a lot of theories out that the link on the ground is actually just might just be a placeholder and maybe they're just gonna like just getting. It's been silted the whole time. I don't own it or not. But it looks like they're very distinctively to as zach was saying are these links across two different time periods and i think one of the things that hints at is that the link in the sky. They their shoes looking pretty compared to the boots and equipment that the link that we need the wild. I have so many questions. There is so much tree house and i re-watch this trailer like twelve times. Because i was so interested in everything goes on joe. What was what was something that really stuck out for you in this show did you. You you were flipping out watching this like the rest of us right. Oh yeah absolutely like this is this is all i could hope for like you. Say it's a minute and a half just full of things to speculate on. And so what. I'm is the thing that got me. But specifically the fact that it teams to presage the idea that this isn't just a sequel to breath of the wild. That's gonna use the same mechanics in a new place in a new setting with a new story like we see new abilities in the we see new weapons you know. You're expecting a certain amount of that stuff. But i think it's easy to forget now that it's four years later in a lot of people think it's the best game ever made. The breath of the wild did loads of stuff that we weren't expecting it encouraged you with its world and be creative. Meant there are moments in this. We see the the new version of the state is power. We we've got new ways to mess with stuff. That's what's really exciting to me this. Yeah i'm i'm wondering let's just check the pulse on this one d. Do you think that breakable weapons will return. I feel like that was such a core part of the last game. it seemed like people came around to it. You know like it was an issue early on in the game with your weapons of constantly. Back into the game doesn't seem like too much of a problem. Most people kind of liked it. So what do you think about this one. I don't know i. I'm of two minds. I think that the weapon or ability was like a major sticking point for a lot of people like a lot of people's issues with breath of the wild comes directly from the idea that like other weapons ability is bad. I personally really liked it. Because i thought it really really enforce the idea that you have to switch up weapons you have to try different fighting styles. You have to try all these different things. And that's why they're showering you with these weapons constantly right so I would like to see it. Make a return. Maybe that durability could be increased so that stuff is breaking as often for folks didn't dig it in the first place but yeah i mean i. I think that's a core tenant to what breath of the wild is as a new entry in the zelda series. So i'd like to see it stick around. Yeah i actually wonder if some of the arm mechanic stuff could maybe potentially be a standby weapon. That you do have in case of emergency weren't all your break. That's a good way of spirit of meeting fans in the middle of going. Hey we kept the break ability stuff but also you know if everything goes south. You have this unshareable. Firearm mega man style. You can do cool stuff with it now like that..

That's exactly what a team of divers started last week. According to an associated press article. That i read this team of five to ten. Divers started a massive six month effort to clean up lake. Tahoe out in california. Their plan is to cover seventy two miles of shoreline and their goal is to conduct three dives each week to a depth of about twenty five feet. The team will be running this dive schedule from now through november. The operation is being sponsored by a nonprofit called. Clean up the lake. It was founded by a guy named colin west who is a diver and a filmmaker. The ultimate cost of this endeavor is two hundred and fifty thousand dollars on that i dive. They pulled two hundred pounds of trash from lake tahoe and tagged twenty larger items for subsequent removal. It's amazing that people still use our lakes rivers and oceans as garbage dumps. Good luck to this team for making a difference and diving with a purpose in case you missed it. Psi pci the gurus scoop scuba cylinder inspection. Recently posted a short article on died news wire. And there was some overspill of audio of cleaned up as best we can and i hope it won't spoil your enjoyment of what i think is fascinating episode of the ripple coming off and welcome to this week's episode of the insider brought to you as always by vanishing inc. My guest today has just released a book that everybody needs. It's a book devoted to bringing card magic to apolo- environment. Say hello was me to roberto mancini. Roberta it's thank you very much. Thank you for pronounce. My last name very. That's your practice is very good. Thank you very much. Thank you so much. It's a short podcast. Roberta we only have a limited time. What's your magical origin story. You have thirty eight seconds. Okay i i need less than this because the the response. I don't know because i really don't know when to begin to love magic. It's like i have always loved. You know everything i can remember from. My childhood has something to do with with matching so. I really don't know the first time that i decided to you. Talk about using magic to make somebody feel something good and that making you feeling credible can you expand upon that. Yes i have a communication social communication show. I always think in mass. You can everything like i'm naked. Process of communication. How to communicate thumb is to produce some sense something. Sydney is not always communicates. Something is not telling something is producing something. The other feel nasty. No it doesn't make sense anything. So you're not communicating anything. So when i approach my mask. I try to understand why i'm deciding to perform these street. And this is very very important question. Because when these these we create a more onus effect. Because i have a recent perform district and this is can be is more easy to perform order. I need something quick. But if you try to you decide to perform a treat for example and because you need some seen easy to learn and to perform a and you try to do this like this to be your light. I'm people know that if you really don't honestly you you can't be in a good communication so this is a good news for me because i'm doing and perform magic because of me for my sense. Of course i need. We all need someone to what because it's a process of communication. If i have so by the way i expect is the spectate or can understand why. I'm doing this not tony v.'s. Bryce but this is my my idea of course but this particular think that he no meat and lead them more. Because the tweet. I am performing. I think that i create a communication that i give mrs given a message. If not something like greenpeace you know. I do eat mris. That is why. I'm doing this or who. I am the for me very difficult to know. Who am i. Why am so then the way to do that. He's asking ask a question and taking decisions because east in that way that we give a message. Why i'm doing this way. I decide to perform these force or this kind of fun. Why i'm trying to do for example. I i always say that we. We think that every for example that forcing it god is one thing also but these force away for different force communicate something it is not the same formula riffle force done if i have a fifty two charissa before so i even with the technique but with us late but with a with a tree we always say that one of the great streak afford or one of the greatest eased in racine dot for example but is not the same the the racing car with little finger. You cited there now don day for example kuka rising god or the day so the metal is not only in the internal life as you say is not cheap matter if it makes some something index talent. We communicate samson in the show. You know because somebody if i have a fifty to one dick. I more freedom to perform to to give you the begin. Got so these sound of the that i got the liam seeking about because i want to to to study to understand the matic in the the we can create intel different things without so when when i when i feel that the spectator understan- why almost why i'm doing this. "Of the way again that our brains are wired which is to keep us safe and to go scanning the environment. So what's out there. What what did we mix. Don't forget that cave is you. Don't want to go in there. You know because wired way it feels like it can feel like a tremendous undertaking. And i know myself when i would sit down to meditate. That might you know. I would be good for about thirty eight seconds until i was like. Oh god dennis appointment or what am i thinking. Oh you know whatever it was that was calling you back the thing about meditation. The thing that makes it so powerful is that it's not just about getting still. It's about training your brain to come back to now. They so it's about okay. Thinking having a thought now on coming back following your breasts as another breathing meditations are good so it can look like that it can also look like doing something that makes it brings you into the present so for me. It happens to be cooking. I love to cook. And i and i doesn't have to. I'm not a fancy cook. But i love when i'm in there when i'm shopping when i'm when i'm getting ready to cook something i am present. I am not worrying. I'm not reading. I'm enjoying where. I am the moment so any activity. That yes you into. That moment is to whether it's exercising. You know even just taking a walk being in nature heading your dog anything anything that can feel like you're just not in your head and you're in the present moment so i the other thing that i think is great for that is journaling and i think that that is a vision board. Isn't your cup of tea or that feels to journaling is a really great option for just getting all that stuff out of your head and i don't know if you've heard of julia cameron the artist's way. She wrote a book twenty years ago about basically how to reconnect to your creative side and a few years ago. She put out a new edition which is called. It's never too late to begin again. So it's really geared toward the midlife person and so the questions are slightly reconfigured and it's a really great resource for trying to for for being present and coming back into the now and noticing what's happening and how you're feeling and What's going on. i love that. That's a lot of really good actionable examples. I think i'm gonna make a bullet list with those That's very helpful. I really appreciate that so much. And i think sometimes just like hands on understanding. How do i do that. And when you said that the cooking example that really resonated with me. Because i love cooking and i can see how you can really be present when you're chopping and the steam in the lena just the whole cooking experience for me for being present for me. I have two things to add another thing. Is that if meditation feels too overwhelming. Then you could institute. What i call a pausing practice instead of a meditation practice. So what that means is that throughout your day. You could either set a timer on your phone. You could create a like a cue for yourself so any time you were a red light you take a deep breath. Pausing practices a moment where you literally stop. Put your feet on the ground or in your car or wherever it is and take one two or even three deep breaths and then just notice it what that does is it. Activates your parenthetic nervous system which is the opposite of fighter flight. It's the it's the rest and digest. It's a chill. And so that is a great thing to do with the pausing practice to bring you back to the right now to lower your cortisol another thing that helps literally put your hand on your heart to hand on your heart and take a deep breath. There's a response your body just depth a little bit so that those things can be great for a pausing practice and the last thing i wanted to say is committing to a mindset change so so much about causing but what it is it's about committing to staying curious instead of panicking so calm knowing that i'm noticing. I'm observing what's happening. But you're putting on your detective hot or your watch your hat and when you start to freak out to separate yourself and notice what's happening on going to look at this as a as a curious observer as an anthropologist. What's happening so the minute you start to create some space between you and the negative thoughts that swirl around is the minute they start to lose a little bit of power and you can notice that even just now. we're talking if you're saying i'm freaking out versus Having the thought that i'm freaking out it feel completely different true. Yeah distance space in between newin. The thoughts thank very. Yes that that makes a lot of sense pausing and kind of seeing the situation as maybe almost as a bystander watching your life and not being so inside of your head like you were saying before that makes a lot of sense. gives you a moment to kind of step back at the last thing. That is just getting yourself grace. My goodness bit right. Not all natural you know like sometimes you have to remind yourself where you have to or or you know you learn new tools. Get yourself grace because you know this stuff can be really hard and so when you start to remind yourself that you are just a human. You're just we're all walking each other home. You're just a human. You're just trying to figure out what's going on and that's okay. You don't have to have it all figured out. you don't have to be perfect distasteful. Made grace yeah. I think that's something that as women we don't do enough is giving ourself that grace. We give other people more grace than we give ourselves. And i think that could be part of maybe why midlife transition kind of also feels a little bit like burn out. It's a very similar feeling in my experience of loose light okay. I've done this for so long. It's a lot and really tired is a all there is to life in. What's next so. I think those techniques could be very very helpful changing gears a little bit. I am wondering. I don't want to put too much emphasis on it. But as women a lot of us are pretty social and like you mentioned you have friends than it can be very helpful to talk to your friends and then it can be also helpful to talk to a therapist because you can let your guard down a little bit more but say you are a woman and you've maybe already been through kind of this midlife transition in new. Come out the other side and you know you're empowered but then you have another friend who may be going through this transition in her own way and you see some of those struggles. Is there any way to help your like. What's the best way to help a friend going through this. Well i if. I take by the my book.

"Might wanna ask her what she she saw. So no investigation not even the fundamentals of investigation aside from talking with corey so that that's frustrating in in and of itself. Can we talk about what happened with the grand jury in the da. And where you're at now and then and then we'll we'll kind of wrap up with what you want to see happen in what we can do to help you sure. Well i guess we start with the district attorney. Our district attorney's brett smith I reached out to brett Wanted to know what the status of this cases I don't remember how how many weeks had had had passed. I know that you know again. this incident occurred on the twenty first of april in a grand jury hearing was on the nineteenth of august. And i i called brad. Smith estimate that the case. He told me that he was aware of the case. hit for me that he had received the final report from gps. He was waiting on that stated that I knew more about it than than him. Which the time was absolutely fair. He hasn't received the paperwork. It's fine we had. My lawyer had received a copy of the crash. Report from dps obser- directly We probably a time did have more information than a week or so had passed my mother-in-law the rhonda nail reached out to brett. She had found a phone number for him Believe on facebook called bread. That was her first dealing with brett. Did not go. How my first interaction with brett went. He was hostile -tated that she had a self cellphone number told her that You should never contact public official on their cellphone regardless if it was posted on facebook or not She disliked his pro profile up. That's mother that just lost her daughter. No one can blame her for calling him told her at this point he had heard nothing about it. Did know who katie was. Eric how how would you feel. I think if your daughter was killed and in the one person that you're going to have to put all your trust into told you after telling me that he knew about the case told you that he had no knowledge of who of who she was And that you shouldn't have called her apartment. You shouldn't have called him. I don't think that would set. Well no. I don't think that would set. Well at our families was very emotional. Friends and family very emotional. This this time we have no platform gave the only platform that people have sometimes social media so rhonda took to so social media. She was very very emotional as she should be had posted about this conversation with our district attorney brett smith as a result and as you could imagine a lot of people were not happy with this the. Da's office was flooded with calls. Brad smith was put in a spotlight on social media. The next two phone calls. I received from brad. Smith warned about our case they were about his public image in social media about what's being said about him on facebook that's what our elected. Da who campaign for this position called me about as victim in a widower. I apologize to him told him that i would do everything i could to Ease this burden in. That was put upon him and then the fourth meeting we had was between Myself rhonda. You've tony who's katie's father. And logan who's katie's brother and it was with brett smith don hoover who's a prosecutor and there was a female prosecutor. There is as well meeting started off. i brought pictures of katie and wanted to introduce them to to katy they'd never met. Katie don hoover in the other prosecutor. There looked at all all the pictures seem very interested in what we had had say. Brett was very dismissive Told me that Heater to see this face. Facebook tried stopped me. I told him he's going to have to wait. I've got to get through this. I've got to introduce you to my wife. At would at which point when i was through for the third time brett brought up social media directly address. Rhonda was very dismissive to rhonda would not let her for some point time get a word in edgewise. And that was very disheartening again as you could imagine. When he wanted the conversation to end about social media eric his response to us was for us to call off our jihad. Those were the words from the district attorney of grayson county. Brad smith call off your jihad. He left that a laugh. And that phil dead in the room. I posted this on social media. Before i don't know if it was him trying to make a joke but he failed miserably at that. We listen to brad. We listen to the other two prosecutors in the room who were and as stated before the epitome of professionalism. They they listen to as answer questions. We left the meeting and we felt like we had a shot at justice based off the other two prosecutors air next i had meetings with cashmore. Ashmore was the first. He's the first assistant district attorney of grayson county We met a couple of times. He told me how he thought this was going to be difficult to prove. That corey foster was reckless. He thought that he was gonna have a hard time. Proving was wreckless eric. I just wanna bring up the facts. That koi foster as per the report said he couldn't see as soon as he left his his driveway There's a clip on facebook that i've recorded in that i've shown He loves a quarter mile away from where he hit us in driving. Thirty five miles an hour. It took thirty eight seconds. Corey foster drove blind. For thirty eight seconds he crossed over the road. It to pedestrians through a seventy feet killed my wife. Put me in the icu. Fifty minutes later blew a point zero six. How is that not reckless. That is the definition of reckless but curiosity more. Said he'd have a hard time proving that i vehemently disagree with him He was reluctant to bring up alcohol at all as being a factor because foster was administered a pt a portable breathalyzer tests and blew a point zero six again. Fifty minutes later Dps report states. That alcohol may or may not have been a contributing factor so alcohol was not ruled out but ashmore decided not to bring that up as per when he told told me. In addition the da's office would file would present the charge of curly negligent homicide against corey foster. Nothing was ever presented for. What corey foster did to me i. I was hit by by his truck. I i was thrown seventy feet. I was much more fortunate than than katie. Obviously i'd i did not die from the incident or or or the impact. The is office never brought up charges against corey foster for what he did to me which is simply put aggravated assault. So that was another failure so we can get to the jury. The grand jury. Eric was was held on august nineteenth and.

Xbox Series X First Impressions With Danny Pea

"Right let's get into it. Britney I. See that the first story on the docket of course is xbox series x you guys have been on social media. This morning you may have seen that a bunch of outlets have been getting some hands on time with the new council that is slated to debut November and Peretz has got the details I have some of the deals who okay. So so these are hands on details regarding specifically backward compatible games, low times and quicker zoom. I feel like that's the only stuff that these outlets cover and if you want some really deep deep dives where they go into all the technical nitty-gritty, read the articles but I just kind of pulled some of the. High level thoughts here from certain outlets. So this one I one comes from venture beat quotes. Microsoft designed the XBOX series x to address the shortcomings that developers and Gamers have had to deal with since two thousand thirteen, the week, CPU that is held back world designed simulation complexity, the old laps laptop style hard drives that slow down the interface and the Games and the I o architecture that would bottleneck even an internal SEC. All of that is why veered so hard into PC gaming in two thousand fifteen and I'm hoping that the launch of the xbox series excellent enable us bury those tired old machines. This is the console that we should have had years ago and I'm so ready for it. The next one comes from the verge, the experts series x felt like I was playing on a familiar xbox that's a lot faster and more capable. The experience of switching back to an xbox was genuinely dispiriting for running my exist xbox games. The series x feels like I just upgraded my iphone everything feels smoother and faster. That's what she said from the verge and finally from Gamespot I was able to keep six games simultaneously. Suspended in quick resume and hop between them to pick up right where I left off when a Buddhist seventh game the first game I queued up in the process to be relaunched. So I lost the exact spot where I have left it suspended in there doesn't seem to be a warning when you're about to cause another game state to close completely but let's be honest having six games held in quick resume is more than enough And then we have some loading times. So for example, if you're playing redemption to you on the XBOX series x it takes thirty eight seconds on the xbox one x two minutes and eight seconds. If you're blink control ten seconds xbox one x fifty, eight seconds final fantasy fifteen, thirteen seconds on the xbox series x on the xbox one X, one minute eleven seconds, and for the outer world, it's eleven seconds. Verse Forty Three seconds. Who that excited let's go. For it definitely I definitely want to try out control and the world's once. I. Get some. The device will see. You haven't played the outer world yet or I love the world's the thing is I really so many. Go back. Yeah. I really finished it three or four times already. So. I love that game so much tried out for the switch to. How did you find it on switch? It was good. The law time was pretty bad though that was the only thing they're gonna like, and there was some parts that it was very slow in some parts of pending the area but over was pretty good. I played it all the way to the end so. Again. But. For, the most part were all very positive and it all seems like the solid state drive is the big winner here. Obviously, the quick resume is that program that allows you to you start one game and then started other game and the sutter, another game, and apparently up to seven games for this instance without having to you Buddha backup, you can just without having to go through the process of putting the other game booting backup back up. So you can essentially have all these games running at once. I personally will probably not use that but I'm assuming if you play multiplayer games with your friends because you actually play online with your friends but you know you might take advantage of it. Some other interesting tidbits, the orientation I thought this is funny from Brian, McCaffrey idea and said I think the series x also looks very nice and its vertical orientation I can't say the same when it's laying on its side, it looks more like a fireplace log. Oh. You know what's interesting about that though is that how are people going to accommodate that into their entertainment centers? It feels like it has to be set on top then or has to be said on the ground next year entertainment center. The problem is if you also get the places in five and this is where where are you going to put it like it's both pretty big especially places and five is huge so So. He Boys. Log In my entertainment stand. That's. Also one thing they said to, there's very quiet compared to. Previous consoles. Yes. That's a really good thing. Yeah. So yeah, over very to try it out. And also I preordered the XBOX series S. So. Did I yeah. Actually what was it? Was it easy for you it took me like an hour and a half to pre reminds. So the series s actually went relatively quickly on the Microsoft store or I had a pretty easy time of it but then when I went back to try to get the series Ex Could not get one.

How Does Saturn Work?

"The Planet Saturn takes its name from a Roman God of agriculture and of all the planets revolve around our sun. It's cultivated if you will the greatest ring system by far shining rings filled with ice dust and rock orbit its equator. The whitest one called the phoebe ring has an outer edge. That's millions of miles away from Saturn itself. For comparison the average distance between Earth and our moon is a paltry two hundred thirty nine thousand miles or three hundred eighty four thousand kilometers once again. Astronomy PUTS THE HUMAN EGO IN CHECK. Saturn's rings get all the attention but we shouldn't ignore its other attributes the sixth planet in our solar system. It's also the biggest after Jupiter. Those two are in a league of their own. If you mushed every planet from Mercury to Neptune together Saturn and Jupiter would account for over ninety percent of the cumulative mass of that planetary mass but despite its immense size Saturn is the least dense planet in the sun's orbit and the spherical to. We'll need to look at. Its physical makeup to understand why research published in two thousand nineteen showed that a day on Saturday and lasts just ten hours thirty three minutes and thirty eight seconds. It's spin rate helps explain one of the ring. World's stranger qualities is he. Saturn is ten percent wider than it is tall. A difference of over seven thousand miles or nearly twelve thousand kilometers. Astronomers call that kind of disparity an equatorial bulge every planet in the solar system has one but Saturn's is the most extreme saturn rotates around its axis at a very high speed. Hence the brevity stays. And here's where density comes into play like. Jupiter Saturn is a gas giant such worlds predominantly consists of hydrogen and helium and whereas Earth is solid on. The outside gas. Giants are not they may however have hard intercourse now. Saturn is downright huge in terms of volume. Some seven hundred sixty four earth sized objects could fit inside of it and the planet is ninety five times as massive as our home world and yet relative to its size. Earth is eight times more dense. In fact water yes. Plain water is denser them Saturn although that doesn't mean the planet would float. It's not cohesive enough so thanks to its low. Low density zippy rotational. Speed Saturn's been deformed into a oblong world that looks kind of squished in profile Jupiter's southern hemisphere famously has an ongoing storm called the great. Red Spot Saturn's answer to. This is the great white spots which are periodic tempests that arise every twenty thirty Earth Years I detected in eighteen seventy six. These weather events are colossal scale ness as Cassini spacecraft spent thirteen productive years hovering around Saturn on December fifth of two thousand ten. It witnessed the most recent iteration of the great white spot phenomenon. The storm was about eight hundred miles by sixteen hundred miles long when it first began. That's about thirteen hundred twenty five hundred kilometers but over the next six months. The spot expanded Longitudinal early until it had looped itself around the planet in a gigantic circle. Some researchers think the great white spots might be part of a cycle that sees the outer layer Saturn's atmosphere slowly lose heat allowing the warm air from lower levels to burst upward. Meanwhile Saturn's North Pole. There's a cloud pattern shaped like giant hexagon. This pleasantly symmetrical jet stream spins counterclockwise measures about twenty thousand miles or thirty two thousand kilometers across and includes a hurricane. That's been swirling right over the poll ever since it was discovered back in Nineteen eighty-eight. Of course it's not the hexagon earned Saturday. A place on. Chucky festers T. shirt you know from rugrats anyway. The gas giant is most famous for the spectacular ring system encircling it a planetary rings aren't rare per se Jupiter Uranus and Neptune. Have the well yet. In terms of sheer scale network around Saturn is totally unrivaled. Most of the primary rings come with letter names. The closest one to Saturn is called the D ring which has an inner radius of about forty two thousand miles or sixty seven thousand kilometers a lot closer than our moon. It's surrounded by these C B A F G and earrings in that order by the way. The rings aren't arranged Alphabetically. Because the naming system reflects the dates of their discovery Abmc recited before the rest when measured from its outside edge. The earring showcases an impressive. Three hundred thousand mile radius or four hundred and eighty thousand kilometers. Or at least that looks impressive until you get to know the big bad fearing that. We mentioned earlier. I spotted in two thousand nine. This one was named after one of Saturn's moons untold trillions of ice rock dust particles. Make up these rings. Some bits are the size of a sugar grain. Others could probably Dwarf Your House in any case. The ring material is stretched. Remarkably thin Saturn's rings may be as thick as two miles or kilometers wide. Found just thirty two feet or ten meters wide so proportionately. The gas giants iconic rings thinner than a typical sheet of writing paper as noted by Astronomer. Phil plait whereas Saturn itself is probably around four point five billion years old. The age of its rings isn't as clear. Some scientists think that they were formed ten million to a hundred million years ago when an icy comet or some ice covered moons came too close to the planet. The visitor or visitors would have met a grisly end. Getting ripped to pieces by Saturn's gravity as those fragments collided they grew smaller and multiplied giving rise to the skinny but brilliant system. We all know today on the other. Hand a twenty. Nineteen paper argued that the rings might have originated at an earlier stage in the history of our solar system. We'll have to see how the debate unfolds as new evidence arises. There's lots about this planet that we're still learning in October of two thousand. Nineteen the international astronomical. Union heralded the discovery of twenty newfound moons orbiting the gas giant with these bodies added to the mix. There are now eighty two verified. Saturn moons altogether no other planet in the solar system has that many natural satellites not even mighty Jupiter. You can find Saturn's moons in around and beyond the ring system before Cassini was retired in two thousand seventeen it revealed that some of them gather clumps of ice and dust. From the Rings Saturn's Moon Titan is especially well-named it's our solar system second-biggest moon overall and it's dotted with seas lakes and rivers of liquid methane and pain. There's only one other body within the Sun's orbit that has standing pools of liquid that we know about. And here's a hint. You're sitting on it right now. Tighten is also noteworthy for having an atmosphere and it's theorized that there could be ice volcanoes that spew water instead of lava like Earth Saturn gets auroras at its poles. They're invisible to the unaided human eye. But the Cassini spacecraft and the Hubble Space Telescope have captured footage of them using infrared and ultraviolet

New "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" trailer released

"We are here to talk about Social Media News and and the first thing we're going to talk about is star wars because the trailer was on tonight during the halftime show of the Monday night football game to which I said to Monday night football games normally have a halftime show is not more of a super bowl thing and my husband who's a football fan said he didn't think it normal we happened but ESPN is owned by Disney who also now owned star wars so they have you know they they have the means to play the new star wars trailer as part of the halftime show which may or may not be a normal part of Monday night football it doesn't matter if it is or not that's when it was and we happen to be watching the game let me rephrase my husband happened to be watching the game I happen to be reading a book that's that's often how we watch football together uh together I glanced up every once in a while and we we know we have conversations I read a book or snuggle with puppies or whatever it happens to be so the new trailer the rise star wars the rise of skywalker premiered tonight and of course it is now trending on Social Media so there's a lot of scenes of ray running running and jumping into generally being the athletic bad ass that she tends to be you know it it tells you both a lot and not much at all gives you just enough to speculate of course because that is what a good trailer does and of course people are speculating the trailer is two minutes and thirty eight seconds long so of course there's plenty to speculate about and of course fans are already commenting on social media creating youtube videos et CETERA and there's already than articles parsing the social media news and the the all of these all the speculation this article is from movie Web Dot COM and they say they have I know they don't say that that was my word they say we have compiled some of the best still images to make section process that much easier for everybody Some fans got an early start this afternoon when the studio released a teaser trailer which featured the Ice Planet of Jimmy and possibly the ghost chip from the Star Wars rebels animated series so Lucasville announced over the weekend that the final rise of skywalker trailer was going to drop during tonight's Monday night football game which follows the promotional campaign for the previous in this stall moment of latest trilogy j.j Abrams has spoken about his fear of putting endings two things but he seems pretty confident that what he pulled off here and the rise of Skywalker The new trailer teases something star wars fans are going to be talking about for months couple of months at least because it comes out on December twentieth so we have we have just under two months to speculate before we can go see it the rise of Walker footage released so far has had a darker tone to it which seems forboding return of Emperor Palestine who get to hear once again and his presence is felt all over this preview. There's teasers of the dark side taking over but we always but we know that George Lucas always intended on bringing balance to the story so we will more than likely end up seeing that representative as well even though he with the latest trailer and footage we still have no idea what J.j Abrams and Chris Stereo have really cooked up for us that does not stop us from speculating things that I saw on social media people already combining Kylo and raise name like a rail oh I think I saw some referred to him Kylo refer Dumas's Bennett depending on how you think of him but there's all sorts of speculation on what Ben and Kylo and Ray are going to be up to the palpitation also trending of course Hashtag Palestine people are having a field day speculating my favorite my favorite tweets were those talking about Ray Ray low rain kylo being on some kind of grand scavenger hunt to find the Hor- cruxes of the emperor because that just combines all of my dorky passions of both Star Wars and star wars and Harry Potter. I can't help it I'm a Dork Internet skype the let me start that over in addition to the final trailer trailer hitting the Internet the rise of skywalker tickets are early on sale well have you ever I know people do it but I have never bought a ticket a movie to two months out I remember when they re released the star I trilogy the original Star Wars Trilogy I was in college and I waited long lines for those but I've never bought a ticket that far out it'll be interesting so well we are about to see the Skywalker saga come to an end that doesn't mean star wars is coming to an end because there's a million different storylines they can pursue it's been forty two years I sense George Lucas introduced the world to the story to these characters wow I mean star wars has been around for four decades which I know because it's been around my whole life but now it's time though to close the book on nine installed events and leave room for new stories to told well it's bittersweet this article says we still have we at least have the rise of Skywalker to look forward to with all of its ties to the past and the future I'm just wondering really is it going to tie things up is it not going you know how satisfied am I going to be about this supposedly conclusion to nine movie story arc and nine movies that are some are better than others let's just put it out there of course some are better than others it's it's going to be that so the the trailer features kind of gives you glimpses of everyone C. Three Po not sure what's going on with C. Three Po little concerned about him from the trailer You Get a brief glimpse of R two D two's chew he's in there a very brief glimpse of Princess Leia hugging ray brief glimpse of Landau flying possibly the Millennium Falcon Falcon. I don't know I didn't pay enough attention but you know and then all the new characters of course ray and Kylo in Poland people whose names I'm not thinking of off the top ahead is clearly I am not that big of a fan no I am a fan I just don't always I just don't have names off the top of my head there's Dumb you get a PLO and podium Ron and Oh what is the guy's name the African American man can't think of his name that's so terrible but that's just weird that that is that it should be Lucan lay back there maybe three Po it it's like weird collisions of my life together and so I don't know what's going on with three P. Oh I don't know what's going on there's lots and lots of drama for me the the trailer was fine it's the music that gets me they do that they do that on purpose of course but the music kind of amps me up less the story Alana law I'm excited about it but it's the music like yes this is this is my childhood this is coming and I get to see it at Christmas time

Poll: Americans Have Shifted Dramatically on What Values Matter Most

"What is the talk to about a poll that was done by our wallstreet journal and NBC news very interesting call and and they've done this more than once they they do this every so many years and they have a Democrat pollster and a Republican pollster in order to make sure both sides are represented and it is a very very intensive and very survey that they do want to talk about the the the values part of this survey because they compare the survey that they just did recently with the survey that was done in nineteen ninety eight so basically twenty are twenty one years ago and here's what they found they found the people age fifty five an older almost eighty percent of them said that patriotism is very important to them eighteen to thirty eight which is millennial and then the older members of gens in eighteen to thirty eight forty two percent of them said patriotism is important to them so the older generation eighty percent of their children forty two percent two thirds of the older group fifty five older cited religion is very important fewer than a third of those ages eighteen to thirty eight site religion as being important to them we're gonna go more into this but eight eight eight six three zero nine six two five you'll see shifts from generation is a couple percentage points here there things become solely become more important other things slowly become less important this is huge this is a huge shift from one generation and their children for the parents to their children with eighty percent of parents saying a fifty five plus same patriotism is very important forty two percent of eighteen to thirty eight two thirds of fifty five older saying religion is very important fewer than a third of their children setting religion what happened and there's more in this but this is they're they're saying they're calling this a dramatic shift in American

"For a new show called space force. The this is the Trump administration idea that we need a six branch of the military a space force, correct. And this this comedy show that it'd be on. Netflix will be a parody of that telling the story of the men and women who have to put together space force. And it's been a long time coming we've all wondered, whereas the space force movie. Thank god. There aren't that. This day are working on it. Well, great, and we're very efficient today. So we've got thirty eight seconds on account anything you want. Add. I have a little surprised that I had when I interviewed Liam Neeson last week. He's got this new movie coming out called cooled pursuit, which is a story about a story about his son who is mysteriously murdered. And he goes to get revenge on this. I know that doesn't sound like a story line. You would ever hear from Liam Neeson before trying to get revenge. But it's not at all like his taken series. Not not at all. Like the franchise. It's irreverend. It's if anything it's like the Coon brothers movies. Okay. Very bloody. I've got a clip here. But I'm going to have to play this in the next set. So can I call you back in time much? I loved it. Well. What? Doc, you got a hard out here. Oh, do you know that? Well, that's fine. We'll save it. We'll save it for tomorrow. Well, that's good. That's good. Well there tomorrow tomorrow, and I'll do it without a shirt by the and we're back in a moment. WGN this year. WGN radio pill on ninety five years of technology and
