Technical Difficulties (MM #3897)

"The mason minute. With Kevin mason. When so much of your life revolves around technology, you have some days that are just throwaways. I call them technical difficulty days, because, well, some days are just crippled by your technical difficulties. On Friday I had to do a video interview, one of those guest spots on television, and the need of course to use my computer. Now I'm having problems with a couple of my computers. My main computer, I wouldn't even bother trying to do a video interview that's got to be for television because it's on its last legs. So I went to my backup computer, only problem is the Bluetooth dongle that's inside wasn't working. So when I got connected to the network feed, they couldn't hear me and I couldn't hear them. So I've got to do something to get that fixed. Then on Sunday, go out to do my road warrior videos. I have audio problems. I couldn't figure out if it was the camera if it was one of the three cables that are needed to be able to do the video. If it was the microphone itself, I'm still not sure what it was, but got it fixed, and then of course I have three batteries for my camera, two of which were dead. One of those weekends full of technical difficulties and there was no way to escape.

"They're not going to be around and the other thing. They have to get rid of his the three inning or the three batteries for the pictures. Yeah i don't hear people complaining about that as much and also the shift they're gonna look into eliminating shifts all the people out there that problems with that the look into all of those things but next year there's gonna be a work stoppage so none of it matters right. It doesn't it Expire after this year. The cbi so there'll be a work stoppage strike and we'll talk about that and people hate baseball and take a major. You know it's amazing. I just walked my word. I don't think people like francisco endure garrett cole. You only way it's a work. Stoppage is if the owner stop it. I i don't see the players striking. I can say that i do not see the players striking. There's hey hey each other. I i understand that but the players also hate each other as as evidenced by getting the spider attack them. Yeah josh donaldson of the world's shore. I wonder if he's available. I do they is. I believe is available..

"And you've had stories before in our newsletter about flying cars. Yes. And since I was a kid and the Jets sitting cartoons, you know, flying cars. I figured we'd all have them by now. The fine car that you had in the newsletter this week. That actually you have a video of it. Actually flying been turning into a car and driving on the street and different town. I kind of felt like I might have been watching the Wright Brothers 21st century. Well, there's a lot of companies out there right now. That are, uh, trying to get these off the ground. Yeah, Uh, Trafalgar is one I've been following, probably for 10 years. And I don't know if they've run into some money issues. Maybe it was covered. They seem to be progressing really well. And then suddenly I haven't heard any more about them. So I'm gonna need to look at the bed was fascinating. Look at a true Flying car and man at H. Don't send me one of those for a review. That's all I got to tell you. I'm out. I'm O UT Candy Houston, Texas welcome. Thank you and thank you for being so kind and helpful with every caller. It's not fun to listen to your show. Thank you so much. That's very kind. And you know, there's no stupid questions. And the last thing I ever want to do is make somebody feel like they're There is a stupid questions is not not when it comes to cars, and I'm really, really happy to share my knowledge. And thank you for the kind words. What can I happy with? I am the original owner of a 16 Buick Encore. I've been very comfortable in it. It has only 20,000 miles on it on 70 years old. I make Short trips. Um, for the most part, so I'm on my third battery in the car. Um, there is. I don't have an extended warranty. The correct not garaged it ever has been. And I just called, uh, the discharge The compressor discharge has replaced Because there was a leak. Yeah, and and it was $1000. Oh, my, uh, my dealer due to the cost that due to the price that GM will pay for that diagnosis and and replacement I was. I was a little stunned. And, um, I have the original tires on the car. They probably need to be replaced soon. Believe it or not. And I have, uh, they they said that there was a He said that the brake pedal with very low so they had a brake system concerned it feels Normal to me, but it's mushy compared to most cars that have kind of a touchy break. And so my question is I've had all my maintenance done at that dealership. I owned the car out, like bought it out like Five years ago, but I don't want to. I'm not emotionally involved, and I don't want to be in a money pit. So I wondered if you have a sense of Um On course from 2016. If if it would be worth my while. I'm happy to keep it. I just don't want a bill of, you know, a couple of $1000 a month to keep it going. And I and I don't I I know that they were extended warranties that you can get after the warranty expires. It's more expensive. My service advisor is actually looking into that for me. I wouldn't make it real long term. But do you can you guide me at all? Do you think it would be better for me to to go ahead and sell the car and buy something else? No, I don't. I think you're better off keeping what you've got. Um, I would give real serious consideration to the extended warranty and just get just get powertrain coverage. Um, that's going to be the cheapest extended warranty that you can find It's going to. It's going to cover the car against anything that goes wrong with the engine or the transmission or the differential. And that's the stuff that really cost you some money. I know that hose in $1000 probably stung a little bit. If I were you for things like that, I would not take it to a dealership. I would find a good Honest garage that you can get those kinds of things done. Get them to check the brakes. I can do the brake job a lot cheaper. Um, it's just it's the cost of It's the cost of You know, hiring in a dealership paying top dollar for the best technicians, and I thought this myself all the years I was in the car business. Um, you know, you want to keep your labor rate As cheap as you possibly can. But you've also got to pay technicians now huge money or and technicians are a dying breed. I mean, everybody's trying to hire young people to train them as they come up. As apprentices. So for for routine stuff, I'd get it done somewhere else. I'd look at that warranty. Get the powertrain coverage. Does this car sit? For extended periods of time. No, I try that almost every day, but it's very short trips to the store. Yeah, but I'm not a doctor or whatever, but nothing. Nothing wrong. Surprised? You've run through three batteries so far in 20,000 Miles. I really am. That's when I ask about if it sets because that will drain the battery and you're in Houston. It's going to be hot. That's real hard on the battery. But if you're driving the thing every day, I'm just surprised about the battery situation. But still over. All these have been good SUVs candy. I see no reason. To get rid of the 20,000 Mile won't even know it's five years old. Coming up on six. Um, you know again, I would. I would let someone else do the routine. Easy stuff. Save some money. And then if you have a claim on the extended warranty Then you didn't use that warranty. Um At my website under car resources. I believe it is at the top, You'll find my f A Q page. I've got a very good article there under maintenance. It's titled How to Find.

VW ID.Buzz Van scheduled for 2023

"The volkswagen. Id buzz that is the very cool surf van by call it that but it'll have more than justice. Van use will make its way to the us in two thousand and twenty three. The europe market gets in two thousand twenty two according to the head of the brand's commercial vehicles division and it's the commercial vehicles division. That's interesting because the much anticipated. Electric descendant of the microbus. The famous surf van will have three hundred horsepower. Jewel motus long wheelbase and be a really exciting van says car and driver. The buzzer will not be available as a work vehicle in the us. However but it will be outfitted as an upscale people carrier That could be three battery sizes. The entry level model will have rear wheel drive and three hundred two hundred horsepower. But watch out for the all wheel drive three hundred horsepower version. And that's interesting because that microbus can do many things. It could be a commercial vehicle. It could be a people carrier. Could be like a mini alvie. And it's interesting. The the is not going to be a global vehicle so it'll be different in in different markets and property quite expensive as well because small. I mean let's face it all eve as a little too expensive at the moment. But i think there's going to be a premium for this car. The looks amazing. The interest in it is already off the charts. And i want to say well done. Vw from making this vehicle. It'll be easy for them to have made the concept and the prototype sharda offer. Couple of years ago be easy for them to navigate around to making vw company which is so big. You know we talk about. These mega companies like vw and toyota. They've got such strengthen debt the for them to put some budget and some people on what is not going to be the biggest seller But certainly a bit of a halo car in terms of image. And i just think it's a really small thing to do

"You know, the kind of quality legal advice I give you exactly. So where do you go when you the lawyer and actually help you out when you're in trouble? That's when you go to handle in law dot com. Those air lawyers that care I don't They're lawyers that know what they're talking about. I don't their lawyers have a heart. I don't and their lawyers that actually can help you. I can't Handle on the law dot com Lovely, innit? Dixie. Welcome to handle. Yes, Dixie. Thank you. I hope you can help me trying. Shut up my car, My curry. Quick. Actually, I hope I can help you to be honest, but I'll try. Go ahead. Dixie Legal problems. Okay, I have a car That's 11 months old, bought it new And in 11 months, I've been through two batteries. Okay? I'm on the third, so the dealer has replaced him, but I got stranded at Costco a week ago. And I don't want to get stranded again. I don't know if it's salt. Okay, so I don't know if it's song. So rather than just go back to the dealer and say, Hey, you guys figure it out. I took it to us, a ninja pendant shop that specializes in electrical. And they said they could do thorough testing and figure out what's causing the problem, which is what I want. So I took it there there well respected. And I couldn't find anything wrong. I said Okay, I'll just come pick it up and see if it happens again. So when I got there Handed me a pile of wires on the connector, and they removed the aftermarket alarm. Okay, okay, because they and they said, we think this is what the problem is. And if it happens if it doesn't happen again, then it's soft. Well, that isn't testing as far as I'm concerned, Okay, it has it happened again. By the way. I'm just curious. It doesn't really change much of the legal basis of this, but was that the answer? No, not that I can tell. Okay, so your car is so you took your car and the battery's still kicked out after that. No, no. Here's the thing. The battery first battery. The original battery died at four months. You told me And then the second battery was replaced. And then you didn't want And then your card. I died and Costco and then you took it to the mechanic. No, no, no. No, no, no. It has not died since the second battery was replaced Running five. Okay. Then why did you take away we? Then why did you take it to an independent mechanic after the second battery's working fine Because I don't know if it's gonna happen, though, that doesn't work at all. G. I don't know if that's gonna happen again. Therefore I took it. Therefore, I took it to an electrical people who then removed by Who removed the alarm and everything seems to be okay. I mean, you've got well. The dealership is off the hook. I'll tell you that. You know, Here's the thing. I didn't ask him to remove anything. I get that. You know, I understand that I got that. Okay. Okay. Who do you think that fault the dealership? No, no, no. This automotive place, okay, You're right, but I haven't. But I have a question. The dealership replaces a battery that's gone bad and It's the cars working great. And for some reason, you think? Well, I'm gonna take it to an independent because I want to make sure that it's a good battery. Did you test the battery? Did you look at the electrical system? It's working fine. Why would you screw with it after it's working fine. Because it's happened twice, and I'm afraid it's gonna happen third time and I don't trust the car. I don't know what you know It's happened once, and then they replaced it. All right. It was replaced three times is what you're saying. I have the third battery in the car. All right? You didn't tell me that what you said was okay. The third battery is working. Fine. Correct. How long has it been working? Fine before you took me a week or so a week or so. But then you, But then you decided you were going to wait until the third battery died. Or you just automatically assume that there was something wrong, All right? I don't know if the dealership is okay. It's a little complicated. Here's the bottom line. Okay, The dealership says we replaced it. And now we're arguing. It could have been fine, but she took it to an independent place and tour the electrical apart. When did you put in the aftermarket alarm? Was that done through the dealer? Yes. Yeah. OK through the day. Okay, so they're responsible for that. And here's the thing. All right, I'm done. All right. Just don't have any patients anymore. With this. Can you imagine in small claims court dealing with a judge who he's not? What you just you go crazy. You go completely out of your mind Crazy with that. Hey, sharing Welcome to handle on the law. Hello. Hello? Yes. Hi, Bill..

"Only in one direction but at the speed of light now. Physicists say well energy electrons. don't move through through leaving things at the speed of light. But that's been proven to be incorrect by By german physicist by the name of constantine meal so he's proven in his lab that yes indeed Energy moves or electrons. Move through the body of speed of light. Wow which helps us understand if why if you put essential oil on your big toe. The frequency of that is in your brain at the speed of light so we have this Muscle battery pack system. And that's the major provider of voltage and by the way just as an aside the brain uses more voltage than anything else in the body and therefore it needs the biggest batteries so the br the battery as supply for the rain is our legs. Wow that's the backup. Backup system for the brain is is the lake so one of the reason. Your brain works better if you go out and walk around the block because you've charged it up. Hey what do you use on your skin. I use this incredible product. The good from caldera lab. It's lightweight serum is made of twenty seven. Active plant tackles that are ganic and wild harvested. Yes this is my ideal serum for my face just a small amount every night after washing my face in his all it takes to have this great skid smells good feels good and helps tackled dry skin without being oily wrinkles scarring. It really does. Keep my skin looking young as i absolutely feel from inside. Gotta try this stuff. Go to caldera lab dot com forward. Slash darren or use the discount code all caps darren at the checkout for twenty percent off your first order of the good. If you don't like it guess what they will give you a full for and refund to invest in it invest in your skin and your health. It's easy guys go get some energy begets energy. But now this actually explains it right suggest by the the moving changing of the the almost geometry of the muscle. You're saying that that is the actual pump or the release of energy from battery pack. Yes as pies. Electricity is the is the muzzles battery charger. And so that's why it's Exercise is important. You know you talk about exercise. Being important to move lymphatic. But i think much more important job it has his keep your battery packs charged now another interesting thing is that as an embryo develops it starts in the brain and from the brain circuits. Extend down into the rest of the body and as they do so they go through very specific teeth. And so our teeth individually become integrated in specific circuits and. That's why our teeth have such an important role in all of our electronic circuits so so we start with the big batteries in our muscles to go through the teeth. And then they go down to the cell membranes and our cell membranes are actually designed to be capacitors so unwarlike bastard. Capacitor is a small battery so if you'd have to electron conductors separated by an insulator you have what's defined as a capacitor and thus store electrons are store will ditch the difference between a capacitor and a battery is in play a capacitor. When it's asked to discharge completely discharges all of the energy at has whereas battery can release it slowly over time so basically again. We have our muscle battery packs than we have. Our cell membranes are actually small batteries if you please just underneath. The cell membranes is a special kind of water that has been called easy water exclusion zone water alcoholic abso docked. Pollock has given it that name and it's actually another of voltage storage system because instead of being h. two o. is h three zero two which is an electron donor form of water. So there's a third battery. Then we have the mitochondria and those are the little power stations inside of cells and inside the maddock andrea. We have another rechargeable battery system. It's called atp when it's charged up his called adp when it's discharged well. The atp is the final Batteries power source for the cell to do what it needs to do. And as it spins its electrons and becomes a discharged battery. Obviously you need a battery charger. Inside the maddock andrea and that battery charger is called the citric cycle or the krebs cycle and the krebs cycle has designed to run on fatty acids so for every unit of fatty acid. You put into the krebs cycle. If oxygen available you get enough electrons to charge up thirty eight of those little. Adp batteries but if oxygen is unavailable for every unit of fatty acid you put in. You only get enough electrons to charge up two of those batteries so little like a car that goes from thirty eight miles a gallon two two miles per gallon if you don't have enough oxygen and then finally we have our dna dna when you see pictures of it. You generally see it from the side and it looks like you took a couple of ladders. Twisted them together. But if you look at it from the and you'll see there's a big hole down the middle and down the middle of that whole is in implodes what's called scaler. Energy and scaler energy has the ability to go down. Not only do service the power supply to your dna but it has power to read to communicate it to the next new sell. It makes it to communicate with other cells in the body so the scaler energy that employs into dna is not only a battery. But it's an information transfer system. Wow so we have these five different batteries. That must work a for the cells to continue to function so one of the things then. That's important to recognize his that. If someone has an organ that's not functioning normally. You can take it to the bank that it won't have adequate because all chronic disease is defined by having inadequate voltage. Now the next piece of the puzzle happen stipulate polarity so if you look at a battery. It has a plus on one end and a minus on the other hand. If you take any rechargeable battery new drain it two zero the polarity flips upside down. So now if you take a battery and put it in a ratty charger upside down at won't take charge while it and so what happens. In our muscle battery packs in particular is if we drain our our muscles to down to zero. They flipped her priority. And therefore we lose the power that's necessary to have the twenty five miller goals for cells to walk run correctly. And we certainly don't have the fifty miles. It takes to make new cells to repair them so once. Batteries flipped nothing. You do works. So how do people in the normal day out of power they draining. They're they're they're muscle battery packs for example how that happened. Well we've identified five different reasons that muscles and and flipped their polarity. First of all is steroid. Second is a scar across the circuit across the the wiring system for that battery. Third is a dental infection in The teeth that are in that circuit fourth is emotional baggage and fifth his toxins so each one of those things will drain your battery a little bit an extra drain a little more than a little bit more and finally you add enough of those things together then the battery flips now. This is one of the major defects in my view of traditional medicine and even many forms of so called alternative or natural medicine and that is in traditional medicine. We do scientific studies. And that's in quotes scientific studies in order to find out if one particular thing is causing something or if one particular incur- something and so we try to isolate all of the other substances or other things just to see what. The effect of that one particular thing is what the reality is almost. No illnesses are due to one particular thing now. There are obviously exceptions if you happen to be next to assure chernobyl when it blew up. Yeah the radiations gonna kill you. You know if you're under the water and held their your and you don't get oxygen. Yeah that's going to kill you too. But talking about most of chronic disease is not a single item causing it. it's a combination of various electrons. Steelers added together which are adequate in their summoned total to drain the battery zero k so now we see that. Same thing in natural medicine alternative medicine. Whatever you wanna call it. Everybody's always looking for that magic south african jungle juice. It's gonna cure everything. That's wrong with everybody and i'm sure having gone and inspected a lot of those things you in particular know that that's simply not true. There isn't one magic notes. So what you have to do then is to go down the list of those things and identify which ones are active in order in keeping us circuit Flip because if you don't fix them all even if you flip the battery back in charge it up which can tell you how do in a moment he'll simply flip again. So would you like me to go down the list. Let's do it. Let's go to list so thyroid. Hormones very important but thyroid hormone. That's most important. Is t three so the thyroid normally makes tea three four but the thyroid hormone that most doctors prescribe is just t- four. Now the problem is that to convert t four into the active form of t three. You must have. I dine progesterone glutathione and several other things that are in the list that you have to have been. The problem is that many people are deficient in those cofactors nutrients. So if you give somebody four. It doesn't matter if they can't converted to the active form t three and so And the other thing is that the that the Thyroid process actually begins in the hypothalamus of the brain. And that part of the brain is under control of adrenaline. From your adrenals. Fear of so of your dreams are out which is true in most sick people. They end the thyroid process. Can't work correctly. Because the epa thelma's in getting the signals at needs so the the apple thomas puts out what's called the retro peak releasing hormone which tells the poetry to put out t h which tells the thyroid to put out t four t four must be converted to the active formity three. Unfortunately doctors are trained to look at t s h and occasionally they look at t four and if those are in the normal range they say well you have added with thyroid hormone but you can see those numbers could be normal. But if you can't convert into the active form you could be eighty percent efficient at the cell membrane and have normal h four and your blood and so there's enormous amount of undiagnosed hypothyroidism and so Remember that the thyroid hormone t three controls. The voltage of every cell membrane in the body. T. three also controls the total number of might aqa andrea in the body and t to controls the function of the maddock. Andrea has a big big juggernaut of control over these energy systems. Just a an f. y. I i've got about. I'm about three hours. Work away from finished writing a book. About what escalier energy. And how does it affect the body and that goes into great detail. About how all of the scaler. Angie works because the reality is that scaler energy is the essence of life itself. Yeah and is the scaler Move through different. Frequencies hurts frequencies. Does it move in that. In that way. Is there levels to that scaler energy. Or how is that associated with frequencies and things like well scaler energy in and of itself is sort of like Something like money set in its savings account waiting for you to need it and then it will go. You can withdraw. Are you can utilize saying that is scaler. Energy will implode into the center of anything. That's a platonic solid spheres cubes pyramids and whatever or implode into anything that's golden mean and by the way your dna is golden mean and that's why scaler energy implodes into the when that stops happening. You're no longer with us. So we were at thyroid scars dental infections. Now if you've got a circuit going through a tooth decay in the tooth decay simply as a resistor to some of the electrons trying to go through that tooth and drops the voltage event but decay in and of itself won't flippable aaron but if you have infection in a tooth and infection spreads into the bone around the tooth. 5 Things Photographers Wonder About and Sometimes Debate

"Know it's funny. The things that just sort of come into your mind sometimes, and yes, we have Google and a lot of times we use Google. But the thing about Google is that you don't really have a relationship with Google, in the sense, there's any predictability about what Google is going to say, and the analogy that I like to use our film critics and film critics are interesting to me because when you find a film critic that has similar tastes to yours then that film critic becomes really valuable because he or she then you know has opinions that that more often than not you know you're going to like or see eye to eye with. So it's not like you just you know on Google is like you get all film critics. All film critics all over the map. And some of them you know may have the same sort of tastes that you do and some may not, and there's really no way to know, and that's kind of the cool thing when you get to hang out with someone or you have a friendship with somebody. who sort of sees things the way that you do and in photography that can be particularly useful because as you bounce ideas off them, they're just not gonna go off all over them. Happy. You know you go. Well, what should I use? You Know Light Room or you know? Capture one pro and they go I think you should never use anything at all. And you go. Well well, I have to use something. No finder based is the best way to go and you're just going. This is totally not useful. Not Useful. I. Need. So on that sort of understands that a photo management application is useful at least as a starting point. The reason, why bring all of this up is that with all the advantages that we have with online life these days, there are still a lot of little gaps gaps where you go man I just. I just wish Google understood me I just wish Alexa. Understood me. So that she would give me some sort of answer that came close to the way that I see the world. Now that sort of a long winded way for me to say some of these questions that they have here. I'm sure you have asked yourself before you know sure that you've just Kinda gone in your mind. Well, you know are they you know Blah Blah Blah and then kind of look it up and you get all sorts of different things in some point you go. I don't. I kinda the same spot I was before and you still may be in the same spot that you were before with these after I talk about them. But at least we'll have fun doing it right in that. Okay. There's something to be said for that. All right. So I have five things here that SORTA come up. and. They're fun to deal with in the world of photography. And sometimes it's really helpful to have a sounding board for these things and I'm going to start with the first one are generic batteries okay to use. And are they as good as the ones sold by manufacturers at twice the price in any of us who shoot with digital cameras, which probably is all of us know this scenario when you buy the digital camera, you get a battery and it's made by the manufacturer or at least it has the manufacturers labelling on it. In the manufacturers, very clear about these are the only batteries that should go in your camera because otherwise who knows it may start you know catching on fire or go up in pufus smoke or The meter may suddenly give you odd readings and things like that odd things that you just don't know. And my experience has been with third party batteries and generally speaking I use a Watson for my batteries that are not made by the manufacturer and I've had great luck with them I use them in Olympus Cameras, use them Fuji Cameras, use them in Nikon cameras. The reason why I use them is because they cost a lot less in my experience has been that they last as long and they perform as well and I have yet to have a problem with any of these batteries in the sense that my camera did not perform the way that I expected it to have not had any of those issues at all. So right now, in fact, I have in the other room I have a double chargers, a Watson charge of double charger with removable plates. I can charge two batteries at the same time and I can charge all sorts of different types of batteries because each little plate that costs whatever six, five, six dollars. allows me to fit a specific camera battery in it, and when you're sewing like me, that's always having different cameras and stuff in in the mix This is really helpful. Now when I go out for a shoot generally speaking I will have three batteries with me. Right, it'll be one daddy in the camera, and then I'll have an extra two batteries and rarely do I have any problems having three batteries with me even on cameras that go through batteries pretty fast. Now, one of those three batteries will be manufacturer's battery and the other two generally speaking are made by someone else like Watson or something like that, and I don't even think about which battery is in the camera and he'd given us not like I'm always going to start with the manufacturer's battery, and then if I have to, I'll go to the Watson. I don't do that. I mean sometimes watching starts out in there sometimes the manufacture. It doesn't make any difference in I. Don't notice any difference so. To answer this particular question. I don't know what Google says. Is. It's OK to use generic batteries. Look at the reviews before you buy photographers will tell you if the battery is performing well or not. If it's got four star rating or more, and most of the comments are hey, the saying I can't even tell the difference is probably safer you to use it and you will save a boatload of money. In other words you could buy two of those batteries and probably a portable charger for the price that the manufacturer wants to charge you for their battery.

What you need to know about Tesla's 'battery day'

"Over the last few months there has been information leaking out about Tesla establishing a new battery production line near the Fremont factory, and it is aptly code-named roadrunner not only does that hint speed, but there might also be. A reference there to roadrunner and Wylie coyote the looney tunes characters engaged in a perpetual game of Jason, in which Miley Coyote could never catch the roadrunner. Maybe legacy auto is the Wiley Coyote to Tesla's roadrunner. So one of the expectations for Battery Day is that Tesla unveils this roadrunner production line to demonstrate the potential throughput that can be accomplished with all. These advancements I believe Ilan made reference to this today as well as tussles other progress in manufacturing outside of batteries. When he tweeted quote speed running Victorio and real life dot dot dot, and quote if you're unfamiliar Factoria is a video game described themselves. By saying quote Factoria was a game in which you build and maintain factories you'll be mining resources researching. Technologies building infrastructure, automating production and fighting enemies and quote that you're sounds a lot like. TUSLA. So a lot of these are related but I believe manufacturing and energy density at the pack level to be the two most important things for battery day. But it doesn't just end there. There are few other topics that may be discussed at Battery Day the first. which has been heavily speculated on is the possibility of Tesla introducing a million mile battery. So first things first on that that means a million mile life cycle or another way to say, that would be the ability for the battery to recharge. Let's say three or four thousand times without having significant capacity degradation because of already done a full ten fifteen minute episode. On the Million Mile Battery I'M NOT GONNA go into as much detail on that here a link that episode but the Short version is that they're already batteries capable of producing that many cycles. It's just a matter as it always is with batteries of the trade offs are willing to make. For example, does that increase the life cycle lower energy density or? Increased cost, and if so maybe it's not worth the tradeoff in fact, Tesla already has batteries that are capable of doing a million miles. They just don't use them in their vehicles because of those trade offs rather they use them in their energy storage products. So we'll see what Tesla has to say about a million mile battery they have talked about wanting. To, get there with the whole powertrain and the past, which really makes a lot of sense when you bring in a Tommy because if a scenario exists where there is a full self-driving row taxi that vehicles going to be traveling a lot more than ten thousand or fifteen, thousand miles per year if the utilization is five times higher or ten times higher. Then to have a useful life of ten years twenty years, you're going to need a million mile powertrain including that million mile battery. It also makes a lot of sense for other utility vehicles such as the upcoming Tesla semi the other wildcard that could potentially add life cycles to the battery for a vehicle would be vehicle to grid technology. Again, we've talked about. Tesla hasn't been super bullish on that technology in the past. So it's relatively lower on my expectations list there certainly value to that feature, but there's also complexity in extracting that value. So we'll wait and see what Tesla has to say on life cycle and any additional features that could drive utilization of those battery packs higher next on the watch list is. Charging capability there's a lot of potential here. We've already seen Tesla over the years increase the supercharging rate from ninety kilowatts to one hundred, twenty kilowatts, two, hundred, and fifty all the way up to two hundred and fifty kilowatts at peak now, and at the cyber truck unveiling last November onscreen they shut a graphic that showed the charging capability of the cyber. At. Two hundred and fifty kilowatts plus you elon musk at that unveiling said quote it will be capable of more than two hundred and fifty kilowatts will reveal the actual number later and quote. So maybe battery day ends up being that later we know that just last week lucid, motors announced that the lucid air will have three hundred and fifty kilowatt capable charging Tesla's kinda competitive. So I'm not sure they're gonNA, sit around for too long being outmatched on that charging rate. If we can get a bit speculative for a moment, one of our listeners, Florian halen helped me out with this it appears that the V. Three superchargers should be capable. Of quite a bit more output than the hundred and fifty kilowatt. Max. That does vehicles can charge at today to get a full understanding of this, we have to start with the version two superchargers. If we look at the label on those chargers, we can see the voltage listed at four hundred and ten volts. They amperage listed at two hundred and seventy amps to get the power capacity. We just multiply the voltage by the amperage. So in this case that comes out to about one hundred and eleven kilowatts but what happens in reality is that vehicles on version two charges, one hundred and fifty kilowatts all the time. So the amperage here is. Actually understated the same thing appears to be happening with the V. Three superchargers as well on the label for those, we can see that the voltage is thousand and the amperage is four, hundred and twenty-five. So multiplying those together yet Max power capacity of four hundred and twenty five kilowatts. So that's already higher than the two hundred and fifty kilowatts. The vehicles can accept today leaving some room for upside and charging rate but back to the amperage, it appears that the amperage capacity is understated on the be three charges as well. We have a screen shot here of a model three charging at that Max two hundred and fifty kilowatt rate, but with. The voltage only at three hundred, sixty eight. So if we divide those two hundred and fifty thousand watts, two hundred and fifty kilowatts by three hundred, sixty eight that gives us six, hundred eighty amps, which is well above the four hundred twenty, five amps on the label right now, a model threes battery is limited to four hundred and four volts. So at six hundred and eighty amps that would mean a Max charging rate of two, hundred, seventy, five kilowatts instead of the two, hundred fifty, that is listed, but it's probably limited at two hundred and fifty kilowatts to avoid overheating if we consider a new battery though maybe some of those constraints can. Be removed and the V. Three superchargers seems capable of delivering quite a bit more power than that two hundred, fifty kilowatts. If we use the six hundred eighty amps here that we have already seen register out of a supercharged V three location and we multiply that by the maximum a thousand volts we could be looking at a power output of six hundred eighty kilowatts from three charter and potentially even higher based on whatever that true actual limit on ams it's. So none of this means that Tesla's going to suddenly unveil a battery that's capable of charging at seven hundred kilowatts just that the V. Three chargers do seem to be putting in. Place. The infrastructure for higher charging to come over time with a new cell likely being introduced. Maybe we will hear more about that at battery debt last couple of aspects that I've heard discussed the first mining Tesla has alluded to maybe getting into mining someday if they needed to that's not something that I expect here from Battery Day as should be cleared by this point in time I think they've got enough to go through without going down that figurative rabbit hole but I do expect. Yulon mosque to again plead with suppliers to ramp up supply especially for nickel next is a point on Tesla suppliers we know that tussle works with Panasonic LG. L. To source batteries from them. So the question has arisen of how those partnerships are going to work and evolve if Tesla is designing and manufacturing their own cell and I think this is answered by what we spoke to earlier with product differentiation Tesla is going to need all the batteries they can get their hands on it's going to take time to ramp up their own battery production. So not only can they not just convert all their products over to their own cells instantly even if they were to do that, they still probably need even more batteries so they're going to continue to partner with these other suppliers though suppliers give them viable. Products, which can help Tesla Grow capture revenue capture prophet regardless of their own endeavors and battery cells and production as far as tesla actually supplying these cells to others I definitely don't expect that not for a long long time if at all, and that's really for the same reason, Tesla is gonNA need these cells themselves supplying them to another oem just adds again that extra layer of cost because both sides need their margin that creates a more expensive and a product for the consumer, which is contradictory to tussles goal of accelerating the advent of sustainable energy. So as long as Tesla is battery constrained, which I expect to be for a long time. See them supplying their batteries to anybody else. All right. So after all of this, we finally come to the product. The last thing to maybe expect out of Battery Day could be the introduction of the plaid model s and Model X. potentially being the first products to utilize these new battery cells as Tesla works to ramp up that initial production it's been yearly quiet on the plaid. Powertrain Front for a while now, but the timing is about right and maybe we will finally again here's something about the new roadster.

And I pulled it a little bit too far left and you know, obviously, once I do that, my ball takes off so he wasn't able to, you know, keep it in furniture. Yeah, I'm just just curious. What? You what? You're listening to Ottavino described the cure Meyer that is a waste of four pitches and how he was missing to the arm's size. So it was outside to the left he batter and then trying to compensate for that the next batter and ended up yanking it for a wild pitch. It again makes me think that if if they weren't forced to buy the three battery, all the Ottavino wouldn't have faced cure Meyer it all and that eighth inning, you would have seen more bullpen maneuvering in that situation by Arab one of the Yankees. Yet this is what Ah, what happened tonight and Ottavino takes losses. The Yankees fall one to nothing in Game one of this four game, Siri's They'll play to tomorrow one on Sunday. "And then it comes with an AC adaptor. Oh that how is one of the batteries with four and a half holts? So the land is perfect because the land takes three batteries. So you put two dummy batteries in it you put the one four and a half old battery in it. And then I thought, you know, the battery door how is that gonna work? They actually the plug is connected to the battery with a very thin ribbon wire perfect that actually fits out through the battery door. So now it runs night and day on a C power. If you don't mind a little wire now, you have to get the one that's right for your batteries. Whether it's W AAA, but they have that they make they make both. And I'm not quite sure why they give you four batteries. Because if the one battery puts out. Four and a half volts that only equals three double as so if you put it in a device with four double as I'm not sure if it's a light. It's probably going to be a touch dimmer. I don't know about that. Because the the thing I used only needed three batteries sounds like a lot of math. I don't understand it. But you know, what you can read all about a website gives wisdom biz. We bought have you seen the ads for the light bulbs that are flickering. Oh, yeah. It makes your so I put him in my den. That's right in micro managing the bullpen and having left special. What he does the best. And now you're gonna take this away out of the game. That's I again, again, I got a lot of questions about that. One. Yeah. That's why it called raise retiring Bruce knew about this role. And he's like he said the same thing Katie said earlier this year that why I'm out baseball's basically just trying to reduce the dead time. And you're gonna see a lot more offense to these changes. And that's that's I know that's what they're looking for. I know that's what the giants are looking for. And if you indeed are worried about the giants offense. Boy, do we have something to tell you coming up next and Connor Letourneau all over the warriors in fifteen minutes on these sports later. Found.

"No matter what if you listen to. It's got to be re Leo LaPorte tech guy. Be right. But I'm real, okay? That's what matters Richard in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Hello, richard. Good afternoon listers screensavers guy. You remember that those good old days twenty years ago? I was gonna take my Betamax tape. Yeah. Betamax? Wow. I know this. Yes, sir. Well, I haven't you comb smartphones icon, mardi pants. Hey again, getting together with with Don, you could call them dumb phones, your gum, smarty pants, folks. They are smart. You know, what this phone you have in your pocket much smarter than the the computers. We were raving about on the screen savers. All those years old. My gosh, you could say that. Wow. Little did. We know. I mean, it was science fiction at the time. But the idea that you can have a supercomputer in your pocket, and then the key to this, by the way, is that was always connected to the internet to the rest of the world. It's remarkable. Yeah. Just remorse. Finally, both down got a Samsung S five about three four years ago. And I thought gee, you know, what I had no battery problems. So I should think about replacing up here. And that's where I ran into problems. I can't get a new battery for Samsung is high. Yeah. So the as five was one of the last Samsung's. I can't remember when they stopped doing it. I think it was seven or eight where they allowed you to pop out the battery and put a new one, and I love that. When every time I ordered this phone a Samsung phone, I always get a second or third battery because then you never have to worry about battery life, you run out you carry a couple with you. And they're small they're not they're not bulky like this chargers. Yeah. They don't I think that's interesting. You can't buy a new one. Massan? The Samsung nothing went to Amazon, and I ordered one that says, you know, that's terrible. Sounds like a Samson is not manufacturing them anymore. And so they're not selling new ones a used one. Maybe. And who knows what condition and might be good as new because it was barely used or it might not be just don't know. Yeah. Maybe it's time for a new phone. Found these puppies. Well, that's where they get you. Right. Because the truth is that the circuitry on there is never going to die. That stuff's going to go forever. The battery will die for sure. And more importantly, just like with a PC times will pass it by where the operating system won't be updated. It'll get out of date, and he won't be able to get a newer version software will require either more horsepower or the latest operating system or both which means you'll start to get programs just won't install on that phone, and it'll just get worse and worse, but truthfully just like if you had bought a PC in the screen savers era, nineteen ninety eight chances are the hard drive, the movement stuff might not work. So well, but the PC itself would. Yeah. Just to be too slow to use. You'd have to use windows ninety eight. No one wants nobody wants to do that. So ninety five ninety five. So that's the that's the issue. This stuff doesn't wear out moving parts wear out. But this stuff doesn't wear once, you know, once the integrated circuit, you know, as long as properly cooled and it's not dipping. You're not dipping in water. It's not gonna wear out. But it does go obsolete. And that's the fact of it. It's it's not so much. An issue of you know, we talked about cars, you know, planned obsolescence and things like that cars do wear out. You know? You can keep them perfectly and they'll run fine. And you may not have seat belts or or air bags, but they'll run fine. But a computer because it's not on the road. It's not mostly not moving parts. There's no reason for it to wear out. It just gets obsolete, and it is somewhat planned obsolescence somewhat. You're just mentioned about the battery rich. Did they change to there? You can't change the battery. That's a that's a question. I'm trying to remember. Seems to me the s seven. Maybe the six it might you might have the last generation with a changeable battery chat room. Do you know on? Yeah. Everybody, you know, why? Because they wanted them to get they wanted to get center. So in the chat room, we've come up with a couple of links for new S five batteries BELTRAN, apparently is making them and our friends at I fix it. Also have because they have parts for phones, they also have S five batteries. So it is possible by not from Samsung. But third party batteries actually old gear in a chat room. Aptly named old gear says Samson factory outlet has S five OEM new batteries for twenty dollars. So that's the thing. Again, a couple of them 'cause properly stored the batteries a live fine. They Peter out just be, but because they have a limited number of charge cycles. Yeah. Shot and see how it works. I'm glad you can keep it alive. Because it's a that was a nice phone not my favorite galaxy. I'll be honest with you when the six came out, I went. Wow. This thing is great and the s seven and the S eight and now we're up to ten, you know. The ten is going to be announced on Wednesday. The good news is once the new phone comes out than the previous generations the nine in the eight. If you which probably are still being sold by some people will have to drop in price a lot. So you might actually see a pretty good price on an S eight or s nine because the ten is here. Looks like looks like we'll put these in the show notes tech guy. Labs dot com. There are a lot of sources are our intrepid chat rooms track down number of sources. For for these battery. So it should be you can get you can get the battery. And if you wanna keep that phone. Why not right? It always irks me a little bit that these phones that don't wear out are headed for the landfill. There's a pretty brisk business in hand-me-down phones. That's what apple notice by the way and its last quarter that even though phone sales were down. Apple was very happy to say there are what was it nine hundred million. Iphones in active, use ni- almost a billion iphones in active use currently in use in a lot of them are hand me downs. I always hand my my kids down their phones, you know, they don't my my son's using my iphone ten my daughter's using my galaxy S nine come to say it. Our show today. Brought to you by. "The law is called a listless law. That's named after fourteen year old Elissa Al who was a New Jersey native who was killed in last year's deadly parkland, Florida's shooting the law requires the school students stall, the silent alarms that can communicate with law enforcement or emergency personnel. There's of course, still the question of where the money would come from this Bill calls for tapping into the five hundred million dollars in voter approved bond funding as a source of revenue there's increasing concern about costly weather disasters on a conference call today. Scientists from no us at twenty eighteen was the fourth warmest year on record. Our aren't says it's linked to disastrous weather events around the world. Little direct losses associated with these fourteen events word ninety one billion dollars. That's also the fourth largest total of the record. The next five years are expected to be much hotter. They say, maybe even record breaking. There's more data shows the younger generation gravitating to faster moving sports and activities. Major league baseball considering sweeping changes, I could alter and change the game forever. Some of the ideas being discussed include the National League adopting a designated hitter. A three battery minimum for pitchers to cut down on pitching changes and a twenty second pitch clock who drink minimum. They would really make it. Go faster. Just gonna make a pitching change pitcher goes and takes the ball. Yeah. Name. The Barras mini me the ball. And if they're coming in for an injury, they get just as unlimited time to warm up which is just start pitching the possible sweeping changes come as major league baseball and the players association hash out a new collective bargaining agreement. "Tom for duty is gonna join us in about twenty minutes or so Michael Irvin. A little bit later on and I'll complaint to Joe in a little bit about some net, bobbleheads amount of fan of but and they'll be in the players, I guess covered or wide ranging topic. Yes, they were giving each other proposals to try to help the game of baseball first off. What was the idea that you liked? You're going to be against have it to pitch the three bags. I actually liked that. Why? Because I just I it makes me delirious when he's guys, you know, mix and match take one out this guy golf fifteen. That's why. And I think it would also curtail a little bit this opener deal where you got relief pitchers. Opening the game. I didn't get my change that a little bit because they have to face three batters. Obviously first of all how does it work? So I wanna know how it works a lot of questions. I if you end in eating by getting one out, right? You're done, right. I guess that's true. I guess that's what about ending a game. Can I come in bring a guy just to get one out to end the game? Is that allowed? I guess it is if you get the other guy Pitz fits the three guys, right? It's just it's a very weird concept. What if you pick a guy off for an out that doesn't count as a guy you faced or does count as a guy, you probably would the whole thing is why look I'll give you this. You're right that it would speed up the game because they would obviously be less pitching, right? I just think it screws with the game. Yeah. I it's not terrible. I mean, it's awful he thinks it's awful. Can you imagine? Intentional walk for the third battery pitcher faced okay to bring you the next pitcher dove. It's funny you bring that happen in the two thousand World Series. And I can't remember the guy's Bobby Valentine did that where he brought it because you know, the rule he's gotta face about. Right. You can't bring it a pitcher. And then just take the pitcher out of Mickey Callaway is not aware of that. But we are aware of that. 'cause we're baseball fan. Mickey Cal you liked that. So I think Bobby brought a pitcher in intentionally walked the guy and then took them out. So we've already seen something like that. With the whole you have to face a batter thing. But to have the face three batters it changes the makeup of the game to me in a significant way. If you would occur tail pitching changes. How about you? Limit roster sizes that includes pitchers if you did that I actually look at the ad and other guy roster. They are. But you know, what they're doing? And that's one of the ideas. I have no problem with the expansion of rosters twenty-six. But a twelve pitcher max, oh is that. Right. That's significant and the other one I saw Jackson. Kind of like they're doing something as far as the September call ups where you can't like at forty guys on roster which I'm a huge fan of. And I think like twenty eight Yay. Twenty eight. Screaming by figures. Mike, lectured me that I was wrong. It's ridiculous. Because I never thought about it all the us when it was that way. But then you got all these thoughts to see it. I mean, it changes. These are the biggest games of the year in September. Now, you change the whole dynamic of it. Absolutely. Is in fairness to you. And to Mike for those who didn't think it was a big deal back. Then it was abused as much as it is. Abused? Now. I always hated it. Because it was a smaller deal at the time. I just didn't like the idea of guys being on the major league roster. Lots of them right grown the been there in April or may and you have excess guys to us even if it wasn't abused. I just never liked the idea of it. But over the last five years, it's been abused. Okay. You can use thirteen pitchers of unbelievable. The other thing. I'd have a problem with is the twenty second pitch clock. Let on a pitch clock. Yeah. That's fine. That's fine. Now, the thing that the problem with the pitch clock is they'll never really totally enforce it. Oh, I thought they think they would they put a clock up there and say specifically, this is what happens if it had zero like a play clock in the NFL that I think it'll be enforced. I mean, the play clock in the NFL's enforce was the NFL. This is this is baseball. I I worry about that a little bit. I think it's important that they enforce it to your point. Yeah. I agree with you. They use as a reference you can't guys twenty five seconds. And as just don't pay no attention to it. It's a ball. I could see this is the thing about the pitch clock. They would concern me because this happens through in baseball. I could see early in the year, they'll be all over the pitch clock. And then as the year goes on it won't be it won't be enforced. That's why to your point they have to have strict enforcement of it. I think there's a few things they have to fix or figure out. I should say not fix is. What if a guy attempts to pick off that's gonna reset the clock? So that would allow a pitcher to continue to attempt to pick off to reset the quarter. Maybe maybe you maybe after would a pickoff attempt baby would cut it down to ten seconds. Interesting. That's not a baby. I don't know. I mean, maybe you reset at the ten instead of back the twenty the thing is with a lot of these rules. We just talked about what the whole three battery minimum. There's a lot of small details that I'm curious about that yet. It's true. And they will be the H two O. Oh, no doubt. It's common. You know this morning. And I forget who I read it from probably Joel Sherman Ken Rosenthal headed I though as I was reading these proposals. It starting to hit me this cold hard reality that you just said it's common, and there's nothing I can do about it. I hate definitely come. I think it's awful. I would love American League fans to keep their hands off my league because I think most National League fans want the pitcher to hit is that fair you want to I like to pitch eating, okay? I'm you know, I'm up for the day. So I I do like the pitch hitting. And I think one of the most ridiculous things they ever did was go one league D H any other one nights Seattle mind that they should've they should have been uniformity right from the get-go. This should have been you may be right that when they enforce this in nineteen three that it was a mistake back. Then I think my bias on this is that all I know is one league has the league doesn't right? And I think it's normal. I think it's fine. And I think it's kind of cool because there's a difference between the leaks and American League fans have their rules and Ashley fans have their rules. And the game is very different. I like it that way. Now, I agree that if they added the of the National League with that benefit a guy like Robinson canot on the New York Mets absolutely cesspit us would that benefit cesspool. No question about benefit nationally teams and actually make them more aggressive at signing bigger free agents, maybe more nationally teams would have been in on Albert pulls back in the day because they had a D H. I can't argue with that. I definitely think it would help the players. I just have a big problem with it. And what scares me, and I'm not blaming you. But what scares me is? There's a lot of guys like you your age who want the pitcher to hit who've lost passion to defend it. He's given here because I just see it because I know it's coming. I why fight it anymore. I know this is going to happen. I know this is going to happen. It's like Adam gates, we fought it. But now. Unfortunately, I just I don't want it. It only traded. He's you know, he's going to be good. Now, I get it. And the other thing is Sweeney as an example, I say this with peace and love I really do because I like Sweeney the smirk on his face that he's gonna get when the National League has the D H and the comments guys like him JJ to make to me about. Fantastic. It just annoys me to no end. I don't want them to get their way. They are American League is I know sweet group. Achey guy enough. He's more for the. A Jay, Jay z. He was that. He was time longtime dove is a yet. Why are they can Richie Ashburn was playing? You guys forcing your stuff on me and authors national fan, right? But I hate to say Joe, you're right. Common anger, and it's turning to sadness. I'm just sad that this is what it's common tear. Well, look, I mean, I'm surprised it as it happened. The ready. I'm surprised that it has held out as long as it has. I mean for basically four decades many decades, it is now held out. Right. It's been a long time. Man. I mean, do the math or at fidelity. Forty forty six forty six years. Maybe we'll get the because I don't think it's going to be implemented immediately won't be tomorrow. But you have a generation I am included in this generation to generation of people that don't know what it's like to have both leagues having pitchers head and having a uniform rule. Right. I just I understand the issues right now in baseball guys are not getting contracts things like that. I hate to try to solve that with this to change the fabric of the game in such an extreme way to get millionaires to get more money and more contracts. I have a big problem with how about do other things to get guys paid get into free agency earlier things like that. You're changing the fabric of this sport and the fabric of this league based on mostly that and then I had to read from Sherman, which I guess I have to give the Met's credit for. But it depresses me that a part of why they may have been okay with making the canot trade. They know this is coming. And they see that is that right? Tweeted this morning, which I give the Met's credit for I guess because they have foresight. But still that is that's a reality. That scares the crap out of me. Common man is no doubt. Here's how here's the other big one. I don't know what to think about this. So you told me what to do here that they're thinking of moving the trade deadline to before the all-star break, which is old school. That's Joe June fifteenth again, well, I don't know if it would be June fifteen maybe it'd be July first maybe we should be significantly earlier than it is now obviously now why would they still have the August thirty first waiver? No, they're talking about eliminating it. Having just one trade deadline really early. I agree with you that I like having there be one deadline. I don't like the fact that you could still make trades afterwards. But what do you think of making it that early because I think it's gonna kill the deadline. It was like that forever though. I mean, you know, June. Fifteenth was always a trait that you know, what the difference was they still had the waiver. Going back to that. Would remember that unless playoff teams? So you had a better idea if you're in a pet. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Right now, you've got a second wildcard team. I have no problem with that. Especially if they're going to eliminate the, you know, the non waiver that that deal waiver waiver deadline trades, August thirty first I would be happy with that. I agree with you about making it unified as far as there being one trade deadline, not the waiver stuff. I like that. I'm kind of up in the air about the pre all star game things. I'm trying to think about what the consequences are going to be. And I really think the most significant consequences. There are going to be very few trade. I think the best ball trade. There will be crushed. And why they're doing this is competitive balance. They don't wanna see teams just selling off players. I never thought that was really a problem mean do we really see teams taking their entire roster just selling it off? I don't want to do kind of like that, you know, at some point would still eighty ninety games left in the season that you are now. This is your team, right? I do kind of like that. It's one of those things where by the end of the day. Maybe I'll be with you. I'm I'm still kind of letting that one marinate a little bit because it's it's very different to move the deadline that up to go all the way into July first or June fifteenth because a lot of these proposals because there was another one which I know we're probably not as interested in. But it's out there is drafted advantages for winning teams and penalties for losing team. I saw that too. Because they don't want teams Tang. I saw that item item not crazy about that. Well, I think they don't want to see a team years ago just lose and not be competitive and putting a competitive Ryan to stand. Why they we do it? I totally get it. But I don't know if I love that. Yeah. I I love it to me. It's so much more insignificant to my day to day baseball fandom, then the D H or the three batter. Minimum. Those are monstrous things for those of us who watch baseball every day. That's game changing changes. They gain. It does change in a way where it hasn't been changed in a very long time. It's much bigger than interleague play. I'm sorry. Italy plays. Just okay. Now, you're playing a team that you haven't played wire. This is changing the game interleague play. No. I don't either. But this changes it more significantly. I think. Because at the end of the day. It's logos in its teams in its history of franchises and whatnot. But if three batter minimum for pitchers that changes the whole kit and caboodle you're managing a game completely different. Now, you imagine it differently..
