The other owners didn't care enough about him to give him the nutrition. You need it that I have of that that I trust and she recommended Dino fight, be I n O v I P I ordered the 1st 90 day supply and within a couple weeks in started clearing up, he didn't felt he had more energy. He just had a glowing about. We've been using dynamite for the last year and happy the rest. Dog. Happy, Healthy dog. I know all that. You have excuse to give their dog our chance at a new start with dynamite will be lead. How happy your dog will be. It's gonna pay off for you. In your dog For years, he I n O T. I got the following testimonials provided by the Catholic Cemeteries Association of the Archdiocese of Harford thing with death. None of us looked forward to it and it's not a happy time. But if you plan ahead and like we did and purchase things ahead of time. It makes it much more bearable because we were going through our grief. Last thing I would have wanted to dio was the walk of cemetery to find the appropriate place to bury our child and Having made that decision ahead of time. It made it that much easier. And when you think about your own mortality, you don't want to put that on your loved ones to have to decide where you may want to be here where you may be comfortable. So if you make those plans ahead of time, it makes the grieving process a little bit easier. It takes a little bit of weight off the people that are making them a lot more bearable for the people who survive. You Attended dignity of life.

"Let's be fair. The answers this medal ego maniac Law every two seconds to spot is in throwing his name out the question here. That just like how everybody's just like. Oh daggers gone. No I know what it's like spider man. Well you've done it again. Spiderman failed city. Does that on a on a weekly slash monthly basis? It's fine don't let it be Christmas. I know it's not even the holidays. So what did you think of this tale love? Halvard honestly could use a little more cloak and dagger. If we're GonNa go this whole route. I know but they tried to cram so much into this cloak and dagger silverstone black cats kingpin answer. Of course we has been like Peter Parker's personal life. I'm like I think you had enough Ashen. Yes a lot. It was a lot I enjoyed it though I mean it was. It was fast paced. But not in a good way. I think they could slow down a little bit working on things for all the books. They need this to push forward again again. If this was like our modern comic is would have been like six issues at least but this is minor. Thomas cloak-and-dagger had a mini series. Coming out we all know that. Yes at the six issue spider man. And then it'd be like Oh check out the three issue cloak and dagger miniseries to see where they went at the end of this issue suave jaded ibis spend his allies the artwork. I like don't really know that much about cooking dagger like a sandwich for episodes of the Shush. Finish that actually. Now that I have time there you go the books but it's just like the time it was written. It was like you know. I think they're a little bit too. They're a little ahead of the curve. The united meaning that writing. I don't they really weren't flesh old black white and tear. Yeah I haven't read a ton of cloak and dagger but from what I remember. Just you know various appearances Spiderman. Another books they just never seem really fleshed out. It seemed like what you see is what you get. It's like Oh hey you know we were. "Out there who are trying to figure out. What should I be doing? Something is missing. Have this job. But it's not really giving me the fulfillment that I want. How do I find that thing? That's going to bring me joy and so I love that you have gone through this process. And what was the what was the? What was the process that you talked about with Saturn? What was the One Saturday yeah. What is it when Saturn does? It's it's a return. It's called reading her. It is not in return okay. I'm very familiar with mercury in retrograde. I know that's not a good thing right. People don't like Mercury in retrograde. I'm not familiar at all. Actually with Saturn kind of making its full circle and coming back so I think that's really interesting and you said that happens between the ages of twenty seven and thirty. Yes okay but I. I'm just GONNA stop you here because I feel like mercury retrograde. Gets this really bad rap. Okay correct me on this. Please and the people listening right now. 'cause you know the MEMES are real? Let's yeah you know. It's funny because actually did a workshop Over at Assemblage. A couple of weeks ago about recreation retrograde and how like it's not inherently a bad thing. I think that a lot of times People high now give it a bad rap. Because they're like okay. Mercury's in retrograde nothing's GonNa go right and it's like you have to really think about the purpose of mercury retrograde right. It's not things are happening just to destroy your life or frustrate you make you upset like I have a strong belief that the universe is intelligent and is constantly co creating with us right so we have a part of that where we're sending out these messages. Like I want this. I want to create this. I want to be this. I want this much money. I want this person you know like we're constantly sending out these messages to the universe through our words and our thoughts and I think the universe in Intern is responding bath by like. Just MIRRORING BACK TO US. What it is that we want what it is that we're renegotiating and Sherry. I think that what happens. Mercury goes retrograde as that the universe is telling you to to just calm down stop for a second and take a look back at the last few months so at Mercury retrograde happens three to four times a year so it think of it like a quarterly check in so every quarter the universe is like hey slow down for a second and I want you to look back at the last you know three to four months and see how much progress have you made towards your goals like what things have you been. What habits have you picked up? That are no longer serving you. How are you? How are you making progress? Are you making any progress? Witless how did you fault that? Did you make any errors? Did you need to rethink things? You need to like you know. Start over and I think that mercury retrograde is really about Being able to being able to look at that time period. And you know Kinda understand where you're screwing things up and you're given an opportunity like this golden three weeks time area where you can really just stop and built. Oh crap I messed that up on man. Maybe I should be thinking about that a little bit differently. Oh maybe I should be spending more time because if you do notice during mercury retrograde a few really try to observe absorb observed that time period. You'll notice that things that do come up are probably things that you haven't been paying that much attention to like. Are you concealing person who you know like you aren't paying attention when you're emailing you email back quickly and therefore you make errors or pas miscommunication so like yes navy your email dinning. Arthur because it wasn't appropriate email and you needed to actually right at like maybe a time period where you know you had connected with someone you know. And for whatever reason. The timing wasn't right but this is a time for you to reconnect. Mercury retrograde is really about redoing things we evaluating revisiting anything that starts with R E. That's what you should be doing for mercury retrograde and I think the universe is really just signaling you during that time period like Hey. I want you to stop and they want you to look at fix all this stuff that you probably stop rethink and then push forward to that. Next time burke show a mercury goes to rag then you can really move full speed ahead. So that's my mercury retrograde to be Thinki- L. I I need to have you back on so that we can talk. Just about that because Yeah I think I think people are going to want to know more about your perspective on Mercury Mercury Retrograde which I just learned so much from what you just said so thank you and of course there were five things. I wanted to talk to you about But I I need to digress for just one second here and maybe you can just give me very quickly a little bit of insight as to what is going on with twenty twenty because I I mean I'm speaking for a lot of people when I say that twenty twenty should just be cancelled now like what is going on. It's it's it's not what is happening and I so I I don't want to spend a. We can probably spend an entire podcast talking about q one of two thousand twenty which has been you know. Insane and tragic and sad and chaotic and many things Any insight there is is what is happening right now. Why the planet's really seemed misaligned going on. Yes absolutely. I'm so edits. It actually does tie a little bit back to Saturday So what happened is we started this year off with a major So in clips happened Twice a year they come in Pairs So this year they're happening January. The second set happened to July. So Clinton in our strategy really about billick super moons so less they are about is bringing in new events or giving US grand closure on events that are upcoming. And they're very far-reaching they lasted about six months or so so one. That happened in January actually happened also around the same time as Saturn and Pluto making a square in the sky. So I'll just break this down for you. So in a class is really about this. Winning eclipse happened. It's about these are the things I want you to focus on for the next six months of your life. The universe system inspired to give you something grand and large to really think about to of all in this yourself forward and to that couple Saturn and Pluto making a square in the sky. Also hot but a lot of pressure on that eclipse so saturn is the planet of Karma. It's the planet that rolls disciplined and discipline and also Karma also The powers-that-be also stability structure government It's really about also are years. Our collective yards are individual. Vr's it's also kind of like a Stern Granddad. That's like hey how're you doing in life? Are You screwing things up? Are you making the right? Choices? Are You thinking of other people. And Are you putting yourself? I like argue you know. Are you being a good person? Are you doing things the way that they should be done for? That's in the best interest for everyone and Pluto is a planet of. I like to call him the bulldozer planet so anything that is no longer serving the greater good or Show greater good. Our individual purposes will kind of get leveled to the ground. And it's really about power so how we wield power over others how we use our own sense of inner power so when these two planets come together and at this terminus aspect which is what happened in January. It's really about balancing this sense of power structure so what I think is happening as the universe is telling us to. Hey Stop you guys need. Tell us that. How are you treating? The planet are is every- Is Everything being done. Fair and equally all people being taken into account Do the people who have power are they? Sharing are they using an array that's really constructive and really positive for society and Joe any any rare that we see powers being used in a way. That's bad for the world. So that's bad for people in general are bad for like the actual planet is. Kinda coming up for you and is looking to be rebalanced and I think that's a lot of what you're seeing right now. You're saying all this stuff on the news about you. Know people that are has been doing really awful things for quite some time or getting aired in the public is you know is is learning about this information and they're you know becoming really aware of it and like things that you do and Dr are now starting to like really. I'm to the light.

The Grand Tour of George Whitfield

"Seventeen thirty nine what happened here well the grand evangelist himself the Grand Randy Tenor at George Whitfield came to Bruton Parish Church and preached a powerful evangelistic message right here. What's the significance of seventeen thirty nine in the life of George Whitfield well it begins his first American tour it will take him through all of seventeen forty and he will leave in January of seventeen forty he won and he was a sensation. I think in his journal he mentioned that people travel on horseback fourteen mile just to hear this one message to hear this sermon yeah and I know they traveled even further and other places in fact when Whitfield would come to preach most cities would just shut down. They would cancel judicial hearings. Ah Shop would close farmers would come out of the field. They would all come flocking to hear Whitfield pre. No one could compete no-one no-one. What was the title the sermon he gave her the title of sermon is what think he of Christ and is drawn from Matthew twenty two forty two and it's intentionally originally evangelistic because he understood this was a very religious place but without regeneration and without the new birth and so he was intentionally probing the heart and the mind to the chase. Let's cut to the chase. He's got one opportunity what Thinki- of Christ and we are standing standing right here at the church yard of Bruton Parish Church outside and we don't know whether what field was inside or outside likely was probably outside yes so so we are here with him in spirit centuries later and I thought if you could read for us near Great George Whitfield voice a choice paragraph from this sermon yeah to treat S. two yeah this is just one paragraph and it's still early in the message and it shows how just energized he was in the very beginning of this message and so here's Whitfield some and I fear a multitude which no man can easily number are among us who call themselves Christians and yet seldom or never ever seriously think of Jesus Christ it all let me just hit the pause the tax what thinking of Christ what Winfield is saying is the problem is you don't even think about Christ it all and so he goes on to elaborate they think of their shops and their farms their plays they're balls their assemblies and Horse Races Bass for Christ the author and finisher of faith the Lord who has bought poor centers with his precious blood and who is the only thing worthy thinking of alas. He is not in at all and their thoughts or at most in very few of their thoughts but believe me. Oh you earthly sensual well Karnal minded professors however little you may think of Christ now or however industriously you may strive to keep him out of your thought by pursuing suing the lust of the flesh the losted the eyes and the pride of life yet there is a time coming when you will wish you had thought of Christ more and of your pleasure is your less so he is driving at the heart that you must give Christ the place of preeminence. You know it's earlier in the sermon in you. We talked about this earlier. Are this great line from Whitfield. He is unworthy of the name of minister who is unwilling to die for the truth of the Lord Jesus and Whitfield certainly was that he he was he was willing to die and he was often attacked for preaching sermons like this there were death threats on his life and actual real threats upon his life as he even be sleeping in bed and people break into the room and try to stab him to death but Whitfield was willing to die for the message to seal it with his own blood if necessary and a preacher who's not willing to die for his message is rarely powerful as he would live for the message and he did all that for the sake of the Gospel Amen Well. That's Dr Steve Lawson. "With Ken moraif. And of course, I am your host Ken moraif. Thank you, Jack. And I am a senior adviser at retirement planners of America, and I have been a certified financial planner professional for the last twenty marvelous wonderful and very exciting years. And all of the ideas that we talk about on this show. These are the very same ideas that we talk about with our beloved and most valued clients, and we work primarily with people who are over fifty who are retired or retiring soon. So that is you, then we would love to meet with you, and see if we can help you and in two thousand fifteen Forbes named our financial advisory firm, one of the top one hundred wealth managers. And. I like that. And. You've made me lose my train of thought that was good. But you know what without our clients, we would be absolutely nowhere. So we so appreciative of our clients entrusting us and working with us. And one of the things you know, we, we have two goals for our clients, and one of them is to have financial peace of mind. We want our clients, we call retirement, your second childhood without parental supervision. So we want you to go play have fun and actually be happy in your retirement, and then Secondly, we want your money to last as long as you do. Okay, so we want to support the lifestyle you have and have your money last as long as you do. And so two -ccomplish those two goals is our two primary objectives. And one of those is, I guess is the topic of this segment, which is how to find happiness in retirement now, there's a guy let's see, what's Michael, and I hope I'm pronouncing his name properly. Thinki- F. I N K E, and he's been researching this topic for many years now. And he's the chief. Academic officer of the American college of financial services, and he has done surveys and studied it and he's come up with what is the answer? And now before I go into what his answer is, I'll tell you money magazine did a the same story a little while back, and they came up with a diff- an answer that Mr. thinki- does not have in his answer. And what they came up with is that you have more money than your peers do. If you have more money than your peers do that. You're happy. So, in other words, if your peers, all have, you know, have saved up one hundred thousand dollars for their retirement, which is not a lot, if you want to retire on that. But let's say that's the case. And you have two hundred thousand and all your you're in that group. Then you're a very happy person because relative everybody else, you got more than they do. Now, if everybody you hang out with has a million dollars, and you have eight hundred thousand five hundred thousand then you're not very happy, so money magazine found that it's how much money you have relative to your peer group. The people you hang out with that is the primary determinant of, whether you're happy or not, which is kind of a weird thought. But anyway, let's go back to Mr. thinki-. Now, he's been researching this question for many years, and what he found is that there are three pillars of happiness in retirement. Okay. So he says the first pillar is, of course, money, and he says you are happier if you have more money, so money is a pillar now. You know, I think there's a point where more money. I, I don't know that I agree with that completely. I think if you have enough money to give you the, to finance a lifestyle that you want, and it's more than your peer group. Then I think that pillar is satisfied. But you can actually, you know there are people that have accumulated so much money that it becomes a burden all of a sudden, you know, their family is after them, and they have to, you know, take care of all the taxes it becomes a chore to keep up with a lot of money. And so I think there's actually a point where have you have diminishing returns on happiness? When it comes to how much money you have. So having a lot of money, I think we would qualify that, but the point. Being it's never too late or too early to plan and invest for retirement that you deserve that you want. So now what are the other two? Well, the other two are tied to social well-being. Okay. So he said that there's two parts. One is the extent to which you have good relationships with your spouse is one of the strongest predictors of happiness in retirement. So again, if you if you have an unhappy relationship with your spouse, or if you're not married, married, people tend to be happier in retirement than single people. But if you have a spouse and you're getting along with them. A good thing, right? Then that's a very high predictor of what you're going to be happy in your retirement. The other predictor the third one is your social relationship with friends. You know. And do you have friends and you have people that you can do stuff with, you know that you and your spouse can go in and enjoy retirement with and those kind of things. So if you wanna be happy, here's what you do. So no matter how much money you have first thing you want. Wanna do is you want to make sure your peer group has lesson you. So if you're hanging out with people that have more money than you, do you need to jettison those people. Right. You need to go and find people that have less than you and hang out with them, because then you'll be happier may interesting. Well, I'm just being pragmatic about it. Okay. The heck with the friends it's about being happy. Then the second thing is make sure you have the spouse is going to, you know, you're going to be happy with. And then Thirdly, make sure that those people that you've decided to become friends with are ones that are that you enjoy spending time doing stuff with if you do all of that, then you should be a happy camper. Now I'm going to add one more to that. And I'm gonna say that happiness is also having financial security, you know, I think that tied into all of that we were talking about, you know, whether you have more or less than your friends, and whether you have money or not. But I think if you, if you have financial security, if you have a financial plan that gives you the confidence that you're going to get from here to there and you understand how it works. I think that'll go a long way to giving you the peace of mind that allows for the happiness. There's no doubt about it. So how does that where where does that where where where does that take us? Well, I think if you work with financial adviser a retirement planner, and they help you to build that plan, you had the confidence in it, then I think that will give you the peace of mind and I think then you'll be more likely to be happy. So here's what you do. You go to our website. Okay. Our, our firm is retirement planners of America. And if you're over fifty you're retired or retiring soon, we'd love to meet with you. Or have you come to one of our seminars? And you go to our website. It's RPO a dot com are poa dot com and on there, you can sign up for seven. Are you can click on meet with an adviser in which case we'll sit down with you and at the seminars? If you go to our seminar, we talk about a multiple multiplicity of things. So first of all, we'll help you calculate what be call your magic number? In other words, how much money should you have to retire on, and we'll give you some guidelines on how to do that. We'll talk about five strategies you can use to reduce your income taxes. We'll talk about how. To maximize your retirement cashflow. We'll talk about should you roll over your four one K when should you take social security? How should you take social security? We'll talk about diversification ideas on that risk mitigation, we believe you should only take as much risk as is necessary to accomplish your financial goals. So how'd you. Yeah. It is cool. So so how do you determine how much risk you should take? We'll help you calculate and figure that one out. So he that tennis stuff at our seminars that I think will you'll benefit from. So what you do is you go to RPO a dot com, our poet com and sign up for seminar, or if you'd like to bypass that, and go directly to the source you can click on meet with an adviser, and you can sit down with one of our retirement planners, and they can do that with you as well. And.

"Homies McCabe, and they were all out to get him. And and therefore some of their, you know, people in the FBI were just you know, it was a partisan attack. They were looking out for Komi. This wasn't a real inquiry is is that how the FBI works is. You know, what Eugene Scott? Well, it's nowhere near as partisan as the president and his supporters claim it to be they just have not proven that to be the case, and to suggest that the only reason that investigation could have happened because of Kami loyalists just seems to be consistent with all of the reporting and research that has come out also this past weekend that quite frankly, it's alarming related to the president and his interaction with Ladimir Putin and others in Russia. For example, we we know that there's some real concerns and questions about what Trump said, and what Putin said in their meeting and how thinki- and that is why democratic lawmakers? Hoping to hear from the interpreter. All of these things have nothing to do with partisanship related to call me. Right. And also, I mean just to add into all of this Eugene Scott from the Washington Post is joining me on the phone right now. You know, we had that whole new level of. Intricacy of the communications between his campaign manager with the Russians that came out with Paul Manafort sharing polling data with somebody who's connected with Russian intelligence that is that that was one of the most damning pieces of information, I've seen in a long time that came out absolutely in some may wonder why this would be of such big concern, you only share polling data with people who are actually a part of your campaign, and considering pass research that we have where reporting and data showing that Russia was involved in interfering with the election and waste specifically like trying to shape the minds and views and politics of certain groups in terms of how they would vote looking at polling data would influence what you do, you know? And you're rushing tro farm to help stare voters one way or keep them from doing something. Related to another vote is it's I mean in our lifetimes Eugene, we've never seen anything like this where I mean, I I don't think back to President Bush or President Clinton or any or President Obama and things myself. Gee, you know, they had really weird interactions with a geopolitical foe of ours. And that makes us call into question. Is there a conspiracy going I've never even this is so unfathomably fathom number to me that we're even at this place. Absolutely. Some may say the fact that the question even had to be asked is already a sign of a loss. It should be obvious that the president of the United States, it's not working with Russia. But it's not obvious which is why I had to ask following. I reporting. This is absolutely incredible. And keep an eye on it. I always appreciate your time. Thank you so much Eugene Scott from the Washington Post. Thank you for your time coming on the show today. Thanks for having me. Absolutely. Really? Appreciate I want to hear from you on this too. So the president. There was a report that the FBI opening an investigation after he fired James Comey. This came out just before the weekend judge Janine Pirro. An absolute hardcore Trump supporter on Fox News. I've been other show a couple of times she is serious. They have each other cell phone numbers. They call each other all the time. They're like close friends asked him directly on the air you ever worked for Russia and instead of answering the question he attacked Democrats attacked the FBI. He never said no until this morning. What do you make of it? Four one five eight hundred.

"Yeah. I mean, I my sympathy here for the three college students in question is real high. You know, that sounds like a very traumatizing and terrifying attack, I imagined that they are quite quite traumatized, and they're pretty young. So I fully get that. They're not going to necessarily think we should limit our time around thirty something guy. He should not necessarily become our best friend. They're going through a lot the onus is not exactly on them to be thinking strategically right now. So the question is. Like can your boyfriend talk about this? Honestly because like clearly what he gets out of. This is very young women. Thinki- is amazing. And that the sun rises and sets on him. And it sounds like they're pretty so, you know, if he wants to say just like, I'm only doing it out of the goodness of my heart. I get nothing out of it. I have no idea what you're talking about. I didn't even notice that they had faces. They're just indistinct women shaped lumps. You know that I think you can kind of say like I'm not trying to attack you here. I'm not trying to say that you're a bad guy. I'm not trying to say that there's something salacious about your relationship with them. I just want to be able to talk about like this particular dynamic, and how long we might expect it to last 'cause I just think he needs to be able to say like and without shame. Like, it doesn't make him a bad person. He's not. Like trying to date them. He's not trying to cheat on you with them. I don't think that he is trying to do any of those things I think he just genuinely really enjoys the ego boost and is not a specially interested in setting up Andres. And he's not really thinking in the long term. What's going to be actually good for them or him? Like, of course, they're going to like you. You're going to have a special kind of relationship with a guy who saved your life. I'm not saying that he should just like screen all their calls. But yeah, as you say there do need to be in the coming weeks some limits on how many gifts he accepts from their parents. How often he makes plans to spend time with them. And how often he prioritizes being available.
