The Occupation review - a brilliant, if broken, British BioShock

"The occupation. Oh yeah this this was an interesting It's not a fantastic thicke overall game. But it's a really interesting set piece game where you're it's got some kind of an adventure game. First person almost pointing clicks out when I adventure game another. It's a very broad term these days but it's more like adventure game in the style point and click adventure game finding items finding finding items on clockwork world. That is kind of going through its motions until you have to be in certain places at the right time to execute and find out what is going on in this distant future. Yes okay yes. So you're like on the verge of like things going real bad like what what what would it look like if things things are about to go real bad and you're kind of on this precipice of it it's neat. The voice acting is kind of hit or miss. It's very British very much so uh but it's worth taking a look if you're into these types of games like it's not maybe going to rise above the din from two thousand nineteen in terms terms of games but for this particular type of game I think it does it pretty. I will say it was one of my favorite games to watch you play this year. I enjoyed the the moments you've got out of it. You kind of sneaking around ministry In Ministry not in the Church since Nineteen eighty-four style ministry three of thought kind of thing and hacking computers in doing that. Kind of stuff trying to your Journalists trying to put stuff together it's neat. It's got a cool concept. RV intrigued the. I think I because you played mouse and keyboard I think I played a bit of it on the. PS Four. And I think I had a lot of difficulty with the movement picking stuff up because it seemed like it's very much designed for mouse and keyboard. It didn't necessarily translate fiddly. Yeah yes insult swing the mouth this way. Because I was intrigued by I wanted to play more but I think I was like fighting the controls too much and just never finish

Motorola Razr Brings the Flip Phone Into 2020

"We're going to focus today on one product one announcement one thing. That thing is the not a brand. New Nostalgia filled Motorola Razor. It was announced on late late on Wednesday Wednesday night. Yeah in La at a very chic. paush crazy weird events It had line diplo. That's that's kind of the with the year for the actual party part or like what you just there for the briefing with yet and I was there for the party part that I'm glad you weren't there for that because it was It was a bit of a I see well I knew what it was. GonNa I get into their I I I think I mean I'm not here to to be a pain but you know how I always say it how it is and I just feel like more read in a very good job with this event but at the phone however the thing is a different thing altogether so let's go back to two thousand four when the the Motorola Razor V. Three was announced This was not by any means the most you know the first flip phone right full nor for one thing but there were. There were standard issue in North America. At least right candy bars were more popular. In Europe like the NACCHIO's everybody loves But yeah I mean. We had flip phones everywhere. But they're all plastic you. They were thick their basic like a pebble in your pocket. And you know we kind of tolerate them for better or worse right right. And then the V. Three comes out and it's it's beautiful it's well made It's satisfying. It's it means. Something seventy gene new concept first of all. It was the first really thin phone if you opened it up. It was thinner than five millimeters or something or five ish millimeter thick at the time that was like unheard of right and then the other thing is made of medals. And last like M- materials that you didn't see in phones at the time I mean there's so some plastic like the Chin and stuff off but the front cover was glass the The the keyboard was made of this weird like laser cut stainless steel and the shelling was aluminum. So I mean it was. Wow and the name razor comes with those of you who don't know this comes from the fact that if you look at it with especially with the Chin it open from like side profile. It looks like a razor blade. That's just opened or closed right right. It looks like a straight edge razor. Exactly Yeah so fast forward six or seven years and Motorola tries this whole thing again and they come out with a a new razor in Canada at least it was just called the Motorola Razor in the US. It was a verizon exclusive called the the razor was that the DROID AJ's arrays droid Roy's razor and this was again something kind of it was. It was one of the first phones use. Kevlar it was. It was it kind of whittled down to a very thin point. Trying to hearken back to that razor design it was one of the first old led displays this it was a it was a gentile lead. which at the time was a little controversial but it was not well received it was? It wasn't fooling font it was is a very thin looking android phone right exactly but it was. It was shortly after the release of the of the DROID line And and it was meant to again. Give Motorola that brand bump but this was a very different era right. This was twenty eleven early days of Android Motorola. Rola was still a big player. Fast forward to now right. We Motorola barely in the conversation especially when it comes to flagships so so the Motorola Razor Twenty twenty. We're going to call that. Yes a flip phone. But it's also a foldable phone so when you saw this for the first time. I'm at the briefing on Tuesday. What were your initial impressions? Well so I saw the leaks I ride. Could I knew what I kind of knew what to expect. And you know leaks. I mean you know this Daniel. There's more for your audience leaks of pretty much generally on point and I- industry so if you see a leak you can pretty much you know we have some good leakers. Otheir I I was like wow. This is exactly what we saw. But like. I'm sitting in the presentations next to Michael Fisher. Mr Mobile and I'm like at first come. Yeah whatever you know he gives to understand up doing phone since about two thousand five actually since the original razor and and I get jaded you know you get like. There's a lot of hype and marketing and and you know. This came out very strong on hype when they announced the event the way they invited people very few people and all that so I was just kind of rolling is a little bit but then the presentation a really glued me and I was like wow okay so this is just not this not just fluff. This is real I in the sense that it seemed like moral really did some great design work my background's engineering and so as looking at the engineering of this engine display and how it all goes together and the head some actual engineers up there talking to us about got it and what their design choices. where I'm like? This is actually good. Like this. and Michael Kept like elbowing. Ham yellowed me and we're looking at Shiloh and like nodding going Holy Crap this is. This is just be the first folding phone that doesn't suck your doesn't fall apart when you use it. Definitely Design Choices Jason. Yeah it definitely felt like the everybody saw the leaks as you said but it felt like the expectations were exceeded especially around the fact that the phone so there has been a a sort of trend of the last few months to associate foldable phones as delicate kid. I mean the galaxy fold is the reason for that but by and large. They're made of plastic. The screens themselves basic. The hinges ages are mechanical and therefore while Samsung and wall way have said that they are going to hold up. After you know for hundreds of thousands of you've of Ben's the reality suggests otherwise and We've seen tear down by fix it and Jerry. Everything that is just how fragile these components actually are and the bravado with which Motorola came out and said this is a stainless steel phone. It's it's also a foldable phone but we don't have to baby it you don't have to worry about it falling apart in fact you can even get wet and it's not gonna it's not gonNA stop. Ah Let's be clear here. First of all this is what they claim. And what my experience touching. The phone is confirmed that the engineering is sound. At least you know. We'll we'll tell six months a year from now the water thing. I think the expectation is that they've done the best they could to water ingress. Won't hopping in the hinge. And so that is non coated like mortar. As this thing I think it's proprietary to them or maybe it isn't in this make it sound like it is but they have not according all their phones and what it is is the phone actually truly water resistant. Water can get in. But everything's quoted in this coding repels water meaning that a won't a bit of moisture during their one damage to phone. So that's what they're saying. So I think in my opinion if I'm GonNa Pitch this to someone I'm going to say. This is a splash resistant phone. Meaning you can use it in the rain and as long as it's not pouring rain you can use it. You can accidentally like you know what it real quick and as long as you drive up real fast you'll be fine you know it's non don't dunk it though that's not gonNa that's GonNa be good right so the phone the the the actual inside screen it is six point two inch plastic oleg display. It's unfolded it's it's a twenty one by nine aspect ratio skinny tall. It's similar to an experienced one or an experienced five shakespeare. Five is almost a dead ringer of it because expire five six. Point one inches. twenty-one by nine right it's I've got a bit of Basil Top and bottom so it together like that adds up to what the Chin would be on the on the razor. So it's almost a match. I think for people who don't have these phones because they're kind of rare it's the width of Pixel four non excel and a high of a pixel four xl. Okay that's a good way of putting it and and so it is just you know it opens up to being a regular size phone six point nine millimeters thin so it's it is really thin but when it's closed it's half that size at its fourteen millimeters thick thicke. Yeah so it's exactly the same thickness and height as the original razor when closed just a little wider. Basically if you know the original razor that's what you have you picture in your

Interviewing Kieran Culkin from the Show 'Succession'

"I'm thrilled to have Kieran Culkin right here in this chair this one yeah. You've got a couple of people from the show L. in this chair. Haven't you yeah Brian had Nick Brown Bron. I if I had my way I have. Everybody should just bring them all work their way the way where are you gonna go. Here's here's the one who had the Golden Globe nomination. That's true. Did you Robin Thicke. It faces yeah. They were all so mean. They helped me down and kick me in the each one. Just wondering how that happens when you're on a show and then somebody get singled out do they just not mention it or do they say congratulations. Oh they all say congratulations and then. I'm taking off the box like who hasn't said it yet at six. PM Kim Jeremy Strong whereas my congratulations but they could say it in a certain way because none of that none of that none of nobody. It's just good if things happen grace happy if there's like nominations that come in great if they don't great job great like yeah. I think everybody's having a really great time doing it and it's also the kind of show that just feels really collaborative feels like everybody's making this thing so when something like that that happens like the Golden Globe thing happened. It really didn't feel like it was a meeting. It felt like Oh cool. The show got thing and I think that's me trying to be like I didn't and get an emmy nomination but I kind of did because we all we all did. It's all there. You sounded like you had years of therapy when you said that it was just a look I'm still searching for therapists found yeah well. You are from one of the most functional families on television. This is definitely the Roy's or the Kokin okay there's no. I don't know you'd be the best judge who is worse. what's a functional family. They just haven't seen one yeah. I don't know they're all might have moments of functionality but we don't yes and I think with this show. It's a bit like they're not more or less kind of with all their power and money and all that stuff they're still just like like the rest of us equally is thank you can say any. I just wanted to say that you came in saying it sounds rhythmic and melodic coming from Your Lips. It's just incredible but I need the money in Jilin and to set this up because there are still some people that haven't seen succession what I don't talk to them saying they haven't seen it. They're behind behind on season one but now season two comes season one had gotten you know a lot of attention but now people are watching it more. It's got five five emmy nominations including best series so I'm sure your heads are even more huge and yeah you never before amazing racing with the biggest thing ever game of what people see you on the street. Do they recognize you now as Roman. Yeah I've gotten a few of those. and mostly people call me. That's actually happened a lot and it's not it's like I feel like they almost feel like you know Wallace Shawn Being People Oh yelling inconceivable at him when he walks on the street one thinks and they're like the first one to do that right like that. Show you're like. I know that's the show I mean. I realize I don't know but the the guy sure is high saw somebody mistake someone for you and rory said to his it could have been right yeah. I don't think so I would have known and they said there's no succession and I thought again. One of the great great compliment would be new. I haven't heard that one. I feel like they said no you the past when you were hailing a cab today. There's there's Mike that was great but his insults are just golden. They're just wonderful. When Roman says something to you. Yeah it's pretty great just no filter whatever comes comes to the brain and he handled the brother who is going through so many traumas and and is in Rehab and everything is happening and you know he's unshaved unshaved candle. He's looks like this do you help them to create these There's like okay so they write. It and it's pretty horrible. Some of the things things that Roman has to say and then some of the other writers they start throwing alternative lines out there and to my mind I think they would deny this but they get a little competitive with each other about like who can come up with the most horrible thing and then I want to play the game and I like throwing my horrible things that I can say from looking at what the guy dressed and stuff so sometimes. I don't like to let like if I'm insulting the actor. I don't like to let them know when it's mine and when it's there's sometimes if it's too insulting on Mike that wasn't me that we're not. GonNa use uh-huh well good goals. Try to make the extra go along because I have so many questions and I don't WanNa be too inside baseball just because the show's not what about me and it should be what I'm interested in yourself but yes it should but didn't allow but we should see a clip of you so so let's see here. He is Kieran Galkin in succession season two so you're not using. That's me that's me I recognize I yeah yeah look at that your idea to just sit on the yeah. I improvised that sitting up there. How cool probably with the glove in on the water just went right up. Stay saying that it's interesting because but those of you I haven't watched it yet the PEOP- The kids in this family this whatever it is it is an empire. I guess it is all want to take daddy's place place sure what's the case. You can make for Roman don't you. I think in a way he's sort of the most like his dad. which you know. I think that a lot of times makes really quick decisions and sort of just goes with gut sometimes and can be a real Pani. Ask kind of scary and I think Roman has that thing where sometimes if you know you get his attention. He's GonNa rip any. You and it can be a little scary so I don't know. I think there's a case for him. I thank you know he's done but he's smart. I think he knows how to basically a situation to his advantage and his advantages the companies then you know hearing you have this career. I mean everybody remembers you and your brother and home alone and we see that and that was just child actor stuff but I remember you most from Igby. It goes down and I saw that movie. I love the whole movie but what you didn't it was just amazing. Well thank you seemed to disappear yeah what what thousand to two thousand and two then where is he. What did you did dropped off the map kind of did like a bit of a freak out that movie came out when I was twenty and I kind of remember there were like some projects lighting up that I was suddenly being offered offered instead of auditioning for and that was a strange thing and I can't remember who but somebody used the word career and now I have a career. I found myself like twenty. I'm doing it for like fourteen years and never once made that decision for myself and I was like I don't. I never even questioned if this is something I want to do and I kinda just looked out and I think learned that a lot of people around that age kind of freak out about what they wanna do with their lives. I was just already kind of doing it but having having that same freak out at the same time but you're living it I mean because McCauley's started it in your family right. We actually started around the same thing yeah but his his success in home alone and I think the thing with that too is when I've always said that. If you get to witness or experience fame fame like that secondhand you would never pursue it. I don't think that's a nice thing like that's not exactly a nice thing that happened to him. At the age of not not in it wasn't nice for him to walk down the street and people like chase him and stuff. That wasn't that Nice so I'm if I'm sort of figuring this out now in real time. Maybe you're my founded charge anytime. You're great but it's that. I think if I started to find if I'm fit go back now and think about it when I was twenty. I started finding myself to be a little successful in things. We're coming probably had a bit of a panic. Let's roll this back when he tried to get some control over it because I've seen it. Get completely out of control with like a child what was happening in your family. You brought that up before who was saying to all of view you should act. You should be in this well. My father was an actor before I think he actually comes from a family of actors or performers of some kind of sort of like you know glass family type thing I think him and his three siblings all did some to some extent kids and then if I'm remembering correctly and sometimes times again information wrong like the are some neighbors ran over the stage managers of the theater nearby in the neighborhood so I think it got to a point was I was like. Oh we need a kid. I show my neighbor's got seven of them name of sex and age we got take here yeah and my father then kind of pushed that he like took headshots of us in like. I think it was like Rupert Park in New York and sent us on auditions and stuff and it actually kind of happened pretty quickly. You weren't born scarred by the family experience. No I just think it's like not a good relationship with dad no not with that but not not for that reason. He wasn't a good person overall but for that that kind of stuff. I think that was okay. I think at least my experience I actually can't really talk about what the siblings I think. It's funny is growing up at the family. You seven in all seven of us have living in the same place but having very different experiences

A Review of Stephen King's 'It'

"Today. We're discussing it star orrick harry anderson dennis christopher where should missour- annette o'toole. Tim reid john ritter and richard thomas special appearance by tim curry. The as pennywise was lonnie anderson busy like we're. We're all the sitcoms. What isn't a horror movie could get alan thicke directed directed by tommy lee wallace who does more comedy than horror no halloween three now. I guess depending on how you slice comedy. This is the the now playing co host. That's down to clown arnie and stewart and this the host who still insists he sees the ghost jacob. We're here a movie that has been so requested tested even before we started doing stephen king and then once we did. I can't count the number of times i've heard have you guys reviewed it and this is going to be the show with the most fun inflection an ever as we constantly emphasize the proper noun it yeah it is it for me. It certainly was the steven king book that i read that maybe wanna go back and read everything that he had written part of the appeal was i had just turned thirteen sixth grade and i had never taken on a book as is big as that book. My dad was a member of book of the month club but then showed up like a phone book on our doorstep over a thousand pages fourteen hundred pages weighing over four pounds at retail and you know aliens had just come out the month before and a movie and this really kicked off my horror movie phase like these were the things things that made me get so deep into horror in my teenage years i had talked to you about stephen king before this. I remember bus rides talking about it and then i remember one day you showed me your copy of it and there was a character who killed himself and you're like and he wrote this on the wall and there was a drawing join in the book. I'd never seen a book that had a drawing in it where the text goes. It looks like a letter age and i'm like i don't get it was an age. You're like no. It's it's the word it in blood and i'm like oh. That's pretty cool fast forward six months. I moved to florida. I didn't know a damn soul. Twelve hundred page book was exactly up my alley. I read it summer of eighty seven and that's the last time i read it until this year when i reread it for these reviews and i am once again the king newbie or the never have been i have not read it but i do feel like this is the one yes sure there's the shining but when i think of the shining i don't i think of king i think of kubrick the same with carrie i think of those movies but it because until two thousand seventeen eighty didn't get good adaptation. We'll talk about the nineteen ninety-one anyone but i do feel like this is the steven king book. I mean it's the scary clown which sure there's john wayne casey but this is such a trope. I feel like in horror now. I'm i'm sure this is a weird originated but i think he did popularize that whole concept. It's funny. You say that i was going to ask you. What's the first thing that comes to your mind. When when you think of it i wanna just put out there. One of my favorite things about stephen king and his first decade of output was to look at the cover because there were so many of them and i never knew what they were about hadn't seen many of the movies so it was fun to try and decipher from that picture on the cover. What is this one going to be about it. First edition hardback did not have no clown on it. It had the alien hand right clawed hand. It looked like a gremlins movie. It looked like he was was reaching his clawed hand out of sewer grates and that's how i read it.

Katy Perry and Her 'Dark Horse' Collaborators Owe $2.78 Million in Copyright Suit, Jury Finds

"Singer Katy Perry just lost the lawsuit against her for that song dark horse a federal judge ordered her and her collaborators to pay nearly three million dollars in damages to Christian rapper mark is gray for lifting part of his song joyful noise these cases are not easy to win and there are others going through the courts so how will this case impact the music industry will it stop music plagiarism with us now is Beverly hills music attorney Aaron Jacob sent these cases are not that easy to win because I remember a host of one's against all kinds of performing artists and to my recollection most of them lose what happened with this one it's unclear what happened with this one we are scratching our heads the dead in the industry because why it seems like this case hinged on for the jury was that Katy Perry had once been in the Christian pop world and therefore might of heard this song also that joyful noise had nearly five million views online and was on a Grammy nominated album but being in such a niece genre it's probably most likely that Katy Perry doctor Lou it cetera everyone that worked on dark dark corners would not actually aware of joyful noise but when you get in front of a jury it sometimes all bets are off this comes on the arguments that the attorneys are making in the one report tourney was look they're trying to own the basic building blocks of the music and you can't do that because there are only so many ways to put things together that people want to hear right there's so many songs that are pleasing to my ears yeah no that's correct date you you can't own the basic building blocks and and in this case there were differing musicology reports but juries don't always understand musicology reports and they often go by who the people involved are and what they hear with their own ears as well do you do in these cases prove intent or or if a an artist's you know as Mike said there are limited number of musical notes right hi if a song just by happenstance resembles very closely another song do you have to prove true during these cases there was intent to plagiarize so intent is not one of the factors for copyright infringement what what is look that is substantial similarities between the works as well as access so did the people that were supposedly infringing have access to the work that day's infringed so there is something called the independent creation where two people can come up with the same or very similar words without ever hearing each other's but in the the state that we live in now it says that that comes to a lot of infringement suits in people forget that independent creation as possible so this case is still difficult to win but are they easier now specifically after like the robin Thicke and Pharrell Marvin Gaye case because in that come down to like the vibe of the song there was a lot of emphasis on the vibe of the song but you also have in that case the facts were a little bit different where as the Marvin Gaye's song was very very famous and in this case joyful noise was not as well known also in the blurred lines case you had robin Thicke stating in press interviews that they specifically wanted to write a song like Marvin Gaye's so they really had sort of set that up and I think juries were influence or the jury was influenced by that where is in this case you don't have those same facts but what the board's lines case did do is really increase the amount of people that are trying to sue for infringement and go after infringement I get calls all the time from people thinking some famous person stole their song and for the most part that's not the case but people like to think that because they have a lot to gain since you were advising a record company is advice you can give them on how to head off the sort of thing I mean they can't possibly listen to every single piece of music out there now and no one can listen to every single piece of music out there if there's a situation where we think that there might be some similarity to another song and we recognize that in the beginning then the parties will take steps to make changes so that it's not as similar and that you want and the parties are good about taking steps to make sure that they're not infringing on other people but sometimes it just doesn't happen or again it's a situation where they're really not aware of the other song and they can you know they can't prevent against every possible outcome so is the blurred lines case may be relaxed some of the standard does this case do that more is that a president I feel like it really sets a precedent but it's definitely going with that trend so was it a landmark case no but it just kind of adds another one to that list where you know other judges might look to in the future as you know more evidence or more proof as to a certain type of outcome all right this Beverly hills music attorney Erin

I course also have done my research this time, and you are if I'm not mistaken. Good friends with Robin Thicke. Yeah. That you're gonna love it. Great you. And you thought the blurred lines thing you were like come on. What are we fucking? I just want to clarify when we say, Robin Thicke. Yes. We mean, the the the blurred line singer, not Robin Thicke the show the rob dirt is doing now. Because of your big died. He found a guy named thick. Yes. He's he is that they call thick. But he is he is not big. So we're not talking about this show. He's just like we're not talking about the show or those two guys aren't rob. Thicke right. The singer blurred lines which like just a song. Yeah. And I remember when we're having fun. Yeah. I remember when he was making the video, and he was like, yeah. We're going to be girls dancing around. I was like what topless? Yeah. I remember you. Yes. I remember you saying that. And I think it really at this point people look back at that choice. And they think pretty good choice. Well, I've gotten to know you a little bit. And and you do have these brainstorms every now, and then where something will be happening. We'll be watching a movie or. We'll be listening to a song. And you'll go like one month. These chicks were top. Exactly there are just times where that pops into my head. We'll see my poverty today. Shut down its open them up your friends with Robin Thicke. I am open them up to the top. So it's like a bra that like class soon. That's what I meant. They have those. Now that's seen a couple. Rob on the same person. No, no. I'm on Tinder. Okay. So when do that I hit the streets. I went on to talk about your friends with Robin Thicke. Oh, who is trying to be the detective to reveal? Discover the mass singer. Is he really he's gone mad haven't I haven't talked to him in a couple of days. He's a ban. I don't know. If you hear he lost his family. He's obsessed with the because he was too obsessed with the case of the singer. Well, he never work late nights. Chinese takeout box. Just like throwing them against the wall bulletin board with all strings different colored string connecting mass on a map. Yes. And Paula Pat yourself even remember who you are. Is that what we're doing today, and he lost his identity as he's trying to figure out the best singer? That's pretty ironic and fly. Yes, we are going to do that today, except we are doing it with the engineer and the show is called the mass engineer. So we are going to be hearing performances individual performances from each engineers, then we'll get a second. Kevin have you prepared clues packages for each of the engineers? I can and they need covenant identities. Like, they have to be the the boss, man. Yeah. Well, yes. Yes. So for instance, in the woman. He should be the aquaman on Massingir. For instance, Tommy John was the pineapple, and they would say, and the the pineapple would come out, and he'd be like, I'm an OG, and I had some tough times. But I'm doing good. And they go pineapple were you ever part of a comedy troupe and the pinup who'd go like, yeah. And then it would be like it's pine hollow versus the raven. So we want to be able to do that. So we got a pit them against each other. We need clues packages. We have to ask them questions. How many are there? That's what I need to the only thing. I get to know how many are back there. There should be for count. There's four that rocks. Crawling with them this rocks..

This got lost in the shuffle. Bundy San Francisco the homeless tax has passed. So the tech companies in San Francisco the million billion dollar tech companies. Yeah, we'll have to pay zero point five percent more in taxes, which could be up to fifteen million bucks per by the way while to fix the homeless problem. So starting next week. Mr markley. Yeah. The homeless problem in San Francisco salt. Is it always works that way? Backley? They'll have nice homes. They'll have a nice place to go. Eat will disappear. Exactly what will happen. Then is more homeless. People will never go there. Now. No, no, no, no. That's a place for us. Did you see the story the story earlier this week? No for our friends at caveat in Seattle. Oh my gosh. Man. So it was three years ago that Seattle declared the homelessness issue in the city a crisis emergency. Yes. That means all hands on deck when it's an emergency. We gotta do something about this problem. Right. Each year since the problems got worse and worse and worse. No. You say. It's not working what you're doing. I don't understand how that doesn't get through to people. You're saying throwing money at a problem is probably not the best way to solve it. Oh, we'll have. None of that talk, sir. Twenty eighteen racist. Yes. That's what we're told. Okay. That's the slogan for two thousand eighteen by the way, it's twenty eighteen races. Pretty much it. That's the official bumper sticker for this year. Having this strictly van camp show. You hate to say this because every time you feel like you have to there are a lot of people in the country that want to help people that are homeless. Okay. And a lot of people to give a great amount of money to do it if they do, but it's been proven time and time again, there are certain tactics that don't work. That's what's very difficult. What was the old adage don't give a drunk a drink? Correct. If you want to help him don't buy him booze and you help at the same time. But you're also helping them solve the problem. Whatever that problem might be the go go along not just keep enabling. Okay. See there you go. I know stop making sense. We'll have none of it. Real quick if you have time. Yes. Want to throw this at you? If you're done with your takes like I got much to do. Go ahead. Okay. Saw this. This was out of the New York Post. If you're a woman, and you need CPR, you may be out of luck. Did you see the story? Oh, I think I know why you okay, go. There are more than three hundred and fifty thousand cardiac arrests that happened outside of the hospital each year. And the only treatment available CPR. Yes. Gately too, by the way. Yes. But the odds of receiving any of that lifesaving aid from a bystander very considerably based on gender because people are a little gun shy of helping a woman in that sort of situation. There's a few reasons why what would you guess while I would guess because you're dealing with the breast area, and you're giving probably mouth to mouth, and you don't get permission before you do it because the person is unconscious. The most common responses from men to say, geez, I be less likely to be honest. Got it like to help but eight to say that. But people are being honest saying, well, I I'd be concerned of inappropriate touching. You know, I I don't I don't wanna do that or being accused of sexual assault. There's also I guess a misconception that breasts. Make CPR more challenging. Why don't think that's part of it? But I didn't think that's it. Do you know how to give CPR the, you know, I'll be I'm embarrassed to tell you. But I don't you telling me it saved your life. But you don't know how to help somebody else in the same situation. "So your dad never did anything professionally in the music business he didn't but my uncles couple of my uncles did in fact i have a vinyl record of one of my uncles and his band at school back in the seventies one of my other calls was like a music director at a big methodist church and a lot of music talent at the other one traveled the world many times over all over the world tons of countries doing music for for the southern baptist convention pretty cool lasko his kids are talented musicians as well do you remember the show growing pains yes do you remember alan thicke yes played like the dad on growing pains also like a ton of game shows pictionary pops into mind i can't remember yep yep i remember very well so he has a son robin thicke robin thicke who i mean between very clever so yeah alan thicke gloria loring who is a singer and actress look up had robin thicke and now robin thicke is a well known musician and i think he actually was sued for that song right yeah however i mean is he popular and famous in the music business because of his dad and mother i think probably so i think so i think he's very talented but agreed i could see why it would be more challenging as as the son or daughter of a of a celebrity because you in some ways sure fame comes easy but respect would be far more difficult to come by you're going to be under a microscope for sure if you're someone famous as child or brother sibling or whatever it may be making it in the industry they're going to be comparing you know doubt hands down to whoever your sibling father was or mother whoever maybe can i take this next one this one is one of my my wife's favorite.

"The story just keep saying darker so we're going to move on to robin thicke and the photo of his girlfriend wrestling what a great segue that was that was okay so here's the deal with this photo you guys haven't seen it robin thicke his beautiful girlfriend is breastfeeding their new baby and here's here's what i'm dealing with because i don't like mommy shame irs but i also have an opinion so what is the difference between mommy shaming and then having an opinion because in my opinion i think breastfeeding is beautiful and i don't mind seeing the photos and i don't have anything against the breasts but i don't when i i saw that i was like why to boobs i feel ladies out in i that mom shaming i don't force i i think it's an opinion i fully support breastfeeding yeah i think it's beautiful the pictures i only breastfed for three weeks that's home breastfeed at all there's totally shamed for it of course you did because people like to you know you're not being a real mom you're not nurturing you're not don't even get me started on that conversation right now but but yes but there's also an artistic way to do it in and it's also private posted if you wanna take beautiful pictures of your wife breastfeeding if you're going to have both boobs out why post it well i think it's because it's to start the conversation and there's there's been some beautiful i think what was her elissa listen milano she posted a beautiful photo on it was just a little bit of the boob and the baby like and you know even then she got shamed for it so i think there's a artistic way to do it but then i think there's like a model shot way of doing it and to me that was like the model shot like here both my two perfectly round bubis and the way they are perfect so great i want her doctors number so good i'm like yeah mine don't look like that at all but that's fine so yeah but that's what i get scared about 'cause i'm like i don't wanna be a mommy shamar for having that opinion i don't either but i think we're allowed to have opinions especially when it comes to posting half naked photos on the internet will like the kim kardashian the kim kardashian she was she posted naked toy.
