"Even begin considering a change. Well, of course, you come with a book called building a second brain, a proven method to organize your digital life and unlock your creative potential. What is this concept Thiago second brain? Because sometimes I think one brain is enough. Yeah. Teach me. No, I know. I know. So my assertion is that our lives keep getting more and more complex. Our work keeps getting more and more complex. I mean, one statistic I cite is that we are consuming 5 times more information than in 1986. So over the last 30, 35 years, 5 X increase in just the sheer volume of information that we're consuming. Is that because it's coming us so quickly with electronic devices or we're like kind of always on versus we read a newspaper and then they were done for the day, but now there's an unlimited amount of news sources. In so many reasons, yeah, it's the pace of our information consumption. It's the number of hours per day. We now spend over 13 hours a day consuming media on our digital devices in some way. It's the speed at which business moves. It's the speed at which society moves. It is the ubiquity of our mobile devices and now our smart watches and AirPods, proliferating throughout our lives. There's not one reason I think it's many reasons. But there's been this 5 times increase in the volume of information we consume and yet we're still using the same brain. The same biological brain as 200,000 years ago. So building a second brain is really just about upgrading. It's about upgrading your memory and your intellect and your creativity, all of which until now has had to rest on your own mind. And extending that line using software. Okay, so I'll bite, how do you build a second brain? Where do you start? So that sounds very lofty and kind of futuristic, but the way that I appreciate is super practical. Which is using what are called notes apps, digital notes apps. And you or your team or your readers probably I'm willing to bet at this very moment have on your smartphone or your tablet or your computer at this at this moment, a node stamp already installed that comes usually pre installed on most devices these days. So that's great. We don't have to download anything. You definitely don't have to purchase anything. It's already there. What's missing is just the method. We don't we haven't had until now a methodology for how to use these notes apps. On our devices. And that's what I'm providing. I think dive into that. But it's essentially a methodology for digital note taking. Okay, so tell us some more about that because I think a lot of us are we learn to take notes in school, bullets or whatever it is. What's digital note taking? Yeah, so you're completely right. When I say notes, people have flashbacks. We have flashbacks of school and college and classes and teachers telling them write this down, write that down. So you don't want to take this note. It's going to be on the test. Exactly. Exactly. Which is such a funny statement because it kind of implies that the only reason to take note of something is for the test. Well, but that's the regular learning, right? We're memories, a bunch of stuff and taking a test and then forgetting all about it. In my opinion, it's not really learning, but that's another topic for another time. Absolutely. No, that is where it comes from. Our conception of note taking. So I find that the first thing you have to do is unlearn that conception. You have to kind of unlearn this idea that learning is disposable that it's only for one test or writing one paper. I really see learning as this lifelong process. It's this lifelong collection of knowledge that you are building. But I have a methodology. It's called code, the letters are COD, which stand for capture, organize, distill and express, which are simply the steps that you follow to be effective at digital notes. Okay, so let's talk about each of those. So it's capture organized and distill and then he said express yes. Okay, so let's take each of those one at a time. Sure. Yeah, so capture is writing things down. Until you capture something, you write it in some place outside your head. You can't really do much with it. And so there is all sorts of not just ways of doing that, but tools. There's a whole category called capture tools. Different little apps and plugins and even paper tools that can be used to, in that moment, when you have an idea, you have a thought, you have an insight. You hear a quote, you hear something on a podcast like this one. You read something in a book to quickly and very efficiently get that into digital form. So that is the first step of capturing information. And so Thiago, you do that because then it offloads something out of your brain, you no longer have to remember it. And it's just there and then you can refer back to it because I find for myself when I write something down and put it someplace else. I don't have to remember it any longer. Is that part of it? That's exactly it. That's what it is. As long as it's in your own mind, it stresses you out, right? It's creating anxiety, you're wondering if you're going to forget it, your brain keeps reminding you again and again and again. So the very first step is simply to offload it from your own brain into a second brain. And then I think this is where a lot of people fall down is it's hard for them to organize it. And then retrieve it and put together in some comprehensible fashion, how do you organize in your method? Yes, exactly. So you capture capture capture and it feels great, but then after a while, you start to realize, shoot, I have all these notes, I better add some order here. And that's organized. I have a particular way of organizing, which is called para, which is a project centric way of organizing information. So this is one of the big lightbulbs. Lightbulb moments that people have, which is you don't want to organize your notes by category or by subject. That's how a library does it. That's how an encyclopedia does it. But when it comes to your personal notes, you really want to do it by your projects and your goals. And so this is the process that I have people will go through is, first of all, identifying what are your goals, what are your projects? And then organizing all these little notes that you're capturing according to those outcomes that you're trying to produce. And that makes sense because if your ordinary is by topic or subject, it doesn't really get you any closer to actually utilizing that material. If anything, it takes you further away. I sometimes work with people in a coaching capacity. And they'll have a subject like psychology. And then we double click on that folder that's called psychology, and they have so much stuff in there on so many different facets of psychology. That they just instantly become overwhelmed, right? That is too broad of a subject to be actionable. You really have to drill down to the specific projects that you're working on. All.

"He did, he did. It was like a trial. Hi. All this type of TV thought somebody knitted him a jumper special. I think we all got him, didn't we? All these years. All these years. Stevie's been telling people all they love me all we know. Jumpers just for me at Norway, you know? Well, I think it's actually gonna be fine closer. All right, last question. Ian, robo told us a story on yesterday's show. Why would you ask for a banana gelato if the waitress gave you 20 flavor options and banana wasn't one of them? Also for the panel, what's the strangest thing you've eaten on your travels and how was it? So Ian, would you be the type where if you were given 20 flavors of ice cream, you'd just choose banana that wasn't on that Dwight destruct list. I wouldn't go for banana, but I've got a big passion for coconut. So I'm really disappointed. Haven't got coconut gelato. So yeah, probably would, I'd probably hold out for the coconut. All right, so I'll actually cook it. And coconut gelato and I have about one right. That's nice. Stevie, watch our favorite flavor ice cream. Vanilla. There's a chocolate. All right. Jeez. No? The saving? I've got a jumper. We used to go to Norway all the time. The 80s. We got dropper. Yeah. Somebody made me a jumper. They made it. Yeah. Came a hotel. There you go. Here's a jump off here. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, watching you guys play. That wouldn't consider. This is a. What was the jumper like? What was the sweater like? It was tight with the parts on it. It was something to do with the way that Norwegian make it. And she made it for me. Just you, nobody else on your team. Just you. Oh. I am thoroughly confused by it. They still have it. No. Oh man. Well, I hope she's not watching. She's gonna be very offended by that. Why does she remember? I just said, I just remember seeing somebody made him a jumper. He just said, somebody made a jump. He slipped off because he said she. You sure? All right. Did you ever get any gifts? I did. I got one of them more Steve, you got because I was on the preseason trips, but the weirdest one I got, which was really, really nice. There's a lady or a girl at West Ham, knitted me a jumper. "Right. Should club really be Premier League manager of the season done. See, I think not. I think not. I think the manager of the season, in my opinion, is Eddie Howe. Because Newcastle had no wins when Eddie Howe took over. He took 45 points from 49. He's done what no managers ever done before when you're sitting on no wins when you take over in and around Christmas time and got Newcastle close to tenth. I think it's an incredible achievement. Having said that, if you don't drop guess the treble, then she open plot. All right. Well, Ian, I'm coming to you. Yeah, I was also just thinking. I feel very angry. If you windy, if you win the FA Cup, you'll get Premier League manager of the season. That'll make much sense to me at all. And we don't. As great as cor pairs, I would have had them thud behind Eddie and pat. But is he at the perfect fit at Liverpool football club? I think both pep and what could he be? Could he win a title with Manchester City? Okay. Ian, this is for you. United completed the travel on this day in 1999. What are your memories of it? Did any of you think united would come back and win it within the 90 minutes and in the manner that they did? Now I just think some things are written in the stars and I think it definitely was from Manchester United that year because frankly.

"To stay at PSG. And it seems Paris is the place to be right now. Champions League Final coming up there on Saturday. So let's head back over to the French capital for more from Alexis. Thanks Kay and I have to swap out rabo and Frank for Julia Laurence and my Catalan queen, jemma soler, but Jules were in your country in your city, the city's buzzing for Champions League Final, aren't they? Welcome to Paris. All of you is great to have you here. I think every championship final should be in Paris. From now on, you know, that's a good show. It's because stunning city. I'll give you that. I see why you keep coming over every weekend on the train in London and refusing to work with us. But anyways, we know that Jules has been buzzing for more than just one reason. This week after Killian and bap pledged his future to PSG, we'll get to you in a bit Jules about that Gemma. How are things in Spain? How are things in Madrid? Because we know that they may have been acting like it's not this big of a heartbreak, but hasn't it been kind of embarrassing at least. Yeah, because you know it's been two years. They knew Mbappé was coming at some point, and it would be hard, but they were very sure. And that's what they told their friends, their family, everyone knew at some point, who will be joining Real Madrid and Real Madrid and their president is not someone that is used to getting nose. So they felt outraged one week from now. They felt very disappointed, even though in the media they were Real Madrid players. They all gave us the same message. It doesn't matter. We're going to play the final of the Champions League. And at some point, now it is a big opportunity to come here to Paris to win yet another Champions League 14 titles to say, okay, you are Real Madrid. We don't even need Mbappé. And Jews, of course, massive victory for PSG in this one, but you surely do feel the embarrassment for Real Madrid, don't you? It's a bit of a humiliation, I think. You have to say, because they were so convinced he was coming, they were so sure, and I think they didn't really see the twist coming, even PhD, so on the Tuesday before at the end of the Saturday that he was going to go to Madrid. "In there. Anybody, I was thinking through all the Premier League goalkeepers, and I couldn't really think of one who'd had an awful season. A lot of them had very good seasons. So yeah, I mean, that is harsh, does he hardly played, but there was that incident in the leak out final when he was brought on as they are so called penalty specialists to save the penalties he didn't save any many he missed his own kick and of course it costs Chelsea and Liverpool one. But yeah, I'm accepting, look, a couple of those are on the harsh side. You will notice there are 6 Manchester United players there. I don't make politics for that. They were that bad. What we have also noticed is your lovely head shot from the year 2000. Looking mighty fine here. You haven't changed a bit, obviously. Don, what do you think of his worst 11? I mean, Angola kante has got to be devastated. He's hardly played. I mean, he's got to be absolutely gutted he's in there. I'm like, I think the one goalkeeper that's been worse than kept my Tim cruel at Norwich is an absolute shocker of a season. And yeah, and I understand what he has done there. Thinking of that one. So Don, who would you have put in? I would have put Tim cruel in, but I'm like, Stevie, I think it's horrible, I think it's harsh. I was involved many, many, many years ago, and wessam sort of done a forum of their worst players of the season. And I was in it and I was devastated at the end of the season. I was gutted because I ruptured my ACL and they'd always hardly played and when they come back, you never really played. He was on the bench trying to get on, so it's a horrible list. I'm like Steve, I feel a little bit of sympathy for Ian. I really do, but pepper. Kante? And not having it. Let me throw one in there. For the goalkeeper, what about bullet Leno? At least at least Kevin started this season as a number two. We knew who he was going to be number two. But nano started as us number one. Losses placed an outstanding rams deal, admittedly. But I'm in agreement with everybody. These are difficult lists to me because if you're that bad, you should be dropped. You shouldn't be played. So how do you then quantify who deserves to be in such a list when if you've got enough minutes, if you're good enough to get minutes. So it's a thankless task. I do sympathize and just to kind of, again, just sort of an option as far as the goalkeeper goes because I'm an agreement. He's at number two. And you can't stop picking a number twos. No, you know, I'm going to have to stick up for Angola Conte as well here. And I'd like a deeper explanation as to why he's there. It's not his fault when he's not able to play. Well, yeah, that's true. Injuries were a factor in that and maybe on consideration of everything you said. Probably shouldn't be in that 11. It is. I mean, he is a great player. He's a World Cup winner. He's won everything. There is to win. But he only started half of Chelsea's games this season and because of that, he never really got a proper run, and we never saw the best of him. So that was my reason, even too, because said it the other day, it was a big reason, really, why we lost momentum is because we weren't able to see the best of angolo Conte this scene. So to that extent he was disappointing, but am I to blame here? Yes, totally. How many money the matches have gone to get when he put? I don't remember any. What? I don't remember any. So what you're saying is? Well, this is a guy who this is a guy who's up for the balloon door. A guy who last year got a thousand miles to matches. Okay, he's pleased to have the season, but I don't remember him being one of the march. So did you expect more from him this season? Absolutely. Which is what Ian? His list is all about. All right. So don't listen to them. So it's not the worst worst 11 of the Premier League of last season. But it was only fair that we ask you for your best 11 from the Premier League season..

"Would be Van Dyck. Now he's seeing that he just needed a rest and it wasn't his Armstrong blah blah. But clearly, it wasn't comfortable in that in that area. But he's the only one in my opinion who maybe if not 100% fair can still be as effective, because he pleased with his brains. Every now and again, he has to change gear, put a towel on to cover. But other than that, he's playing with these mouths. He's playing with these positional player. So it's not as much of a physical problem for Van Dyck. So he's the least of my worries. But the other two, I think, is a problem. If the two of them are fully fat, then there's no question. Liverpool for me are big favorites. And as I said, you have to start them. If you think they can play any time, you have to start them. Because what you can do is bring them on. And then they go after 5, ten minutes. Do you agree, Don? I think Sabine yo is the key. I think if Van Dyck was missing, I think konate is in good form and matter tip. Yes, you want Van Dyke fit, but Thiago brings something different. You've seen the assist. He got against wolves of their way. He's got imagination. And it's not like I've been on, I've been on fitness tests. I'm sure the guys have done fitness tests before. It's not like Jürgen Klopp wake up the day the Champions League Final and go, do I toss a card on Thiago or fabinho or Van Dyke on most seller? He's going to put them through their paces, probably tomorrow, day after, he's going to make them train. He's going to make them do fitness tests. I've been involved in fitness tests on the day of a game I've failed them, and I've got through them. And that's the acid test really, when you go through a really rigorous session, you know is a player you can get through or you can't and that would be a good indication. What do you think about a checker? I'm an agreement. If those players, if the players are question, 90% fit, if you can get 75 or 18 minutes out of them, you play them. They may break down basic Gambia take, but unless it is painfully obvious that it's hampering their movement. The pace I wish they could run. You're not quite sure that you can even get 45 minutes. You know you can get 75 or 80 minutes. I think you take that chance. And you make the substitutions as needed. Even if it has, it is later on in the 75th or 80th minute. Because you can change your game then. You don't want to have to bring them on and be chasing the game. And then all of a sudden, you're left with a problem, having brought them on all of a sudden they aren't fully fully up to speed. Let's talk about the game itself, then Ian, you've covered so many games. How exciting is it to have these two teams in the Champions League Final again? Yeah, very exciting. And of course, Liverpool have a bit of a score to settle with Real Madrid from the 2018 final, particularly most salary it's good that he's fit again, the newsletter he's staying, a big boost to the Liverpool camp ahead of the game. And I think Liverpool two have the fact that they lost the Premier League title in a photo finish last Sunday. I think that will give them a bit of an edge as well. So I do think they're the better team, but as you guys have been saying, Real Madrid just keep finding a way. Don't they? And after a while, you start to say, well, is that a fluke or is this part of the DNA? Are they a better team than we all think? One thing that worries me particularly for Liverpool is this occasionally the two full backs are flying so high that there's room in behind them. Now can they do that against Vinicius on that left hand side? Can Trent Alexander Arnold push as far forward as he normally does because they could get taken to the cleaners if they get that wrong. So it's a fascinating game. It could be a brilliant game. I think it's a 50 50 final. I really do. Are you worried about that, Stevie? Finish your junior? Well, if he's continuously getting on the ball and running a ten Alexander then that would be a problem. But his robot was saying earlier on, Liverpool deny the ball. Liverpool squeeze your high up. And so if they're doing that well, and they're on their game, then vanishes in going to see the ball. So that negates the problem that you would have with Trent Alexander Arnold. All right. We just had most of the last name mentioned. And I know, and yesterday's show, we touched on this. Him talking and dismissing rumors about his future. He did say that he'll be sticking at Liverpool for Shawn next season, just going back to you, Stevie. Is that a distraction for the team talking about most the last future again ahead of a final like this? No, I don't think so. And I love his answer. He's basically shot everybody up. That's perfect. You still got a couple of days before the game. There's no question. Nobody and the play staff and the coaching staff are going to be thinking about more silence contract. Norway. Primarily because of the answer we gave. I'm going to be here next year and so you know what? Squashed. No worries or concerns for you in that aspect done. No, I think Steve is right. I think the answer that he gave when he said, I'm not selfish. The Champions League is the most important thing. I'm going to be at Liverpool next season. That basically shot everyone down in the room. There was no questions then to sort of follow up the most salad because you'd answered it. So he.

"Sure that you give a big pressure on him. The talent is there. And you know that at some point you will need your friends to help you out because you want to get swan against a player like that. You're going to suffer. He's going to have the ball at one point he's going to take you on. So you have to respect that. You have to accept that, and you have to make sure that your friend is going to be there covering your. But you have to be very close to him. You have to give him a big pressure. You have to scare him in a good way. The only problem is for his beard. How do you scare someone like Karim Benzema? The only problem with Benzema is these difficult to pick up because he doesn't stay as a center forward. He comes short, you're going to midfield. So the players that have got to be alert are the holding midfield player for Liverpool with its fabinho as you talked about. He's going to make sure. Because what he does, he sets up the play, and he almost jokes into the box. So when the cutback comes, he's free and he scores. And that's what Benson has done all season. Michelle platini talks sometimes about the fact that a striker has to know how to play a 9 and a half. He said. So a little bit in between the lines between the midfielders and the central defense. And that's where the threat is. It's where you don't know where to stand and it's where you leave the spaces and it's where you create problem for your own team. And then speaking of Benzema, of course, being probably in Real Madrid's biggest threat to Liverpool's defense, now switching it around, Liverpool's front three. That's something that we have definitely enjoyed. If you throw in a certain loose Diaz there, who has been so impressive, rabo, just talk to me again about The X Factor that he brings and how the Real Madrid deal with this. Well, he's quick. But he's quick with the ball as well. You can run off the ball, but he's also quick with the ball and he's probably the best of the three at running with the bullman makes runs in behind, Salah mates runs in behind, but in terms of dribbling skills, that pace, Diaz has been the best player this season for them, doing that sort of thing. You've got to show them inside, you know, at times. So the next midfield player can come out and deal with it. You've got to make them go into avenues. You've got to make it difficult for him. And stop him getting the ball and get in turn. That's the key to stopping Lewis Diaz. All this sounds so easier said than done, Frank, how'd you deal with someone like him? Because he's an absolute joy to watch. Well, again, is somebody the only choice that you have is maybe anticipating a double before he gets it. That's maybe the only chance that you have. But he knows how to ask for the ball, you know, short and go beyond you and because he's fast. You're going to, you know, step back as anticipation. Then he's going to get the ball shot. Then he's going to face you. And the guy is Kinney for the strong. Don't really. Energy. He does not stop. I want to know what he has for breakfast lunch and dinner. Probably arepas. Yeah, we have to check that out. But again, we talk about talents. And you have to accept the fact that you want every battle. But if you win the war, that's fine. I remember just watching him in the FA Cup final and somebody had tweeted, it's likely with Diaz has four lungs because this kid just does not stop running. With that said then I think every day now we're just going to ask you guys for predictions because as the news keeps coming out, we'll see if any predictions change frankly. Let's start with you. Well, I have to go to Liverpool. As a sir said. I'm so sad. If they played fully fit with fabinho and chago Alcantara, I see three one for Liverpool. Oh, we don't even need extra time we're paying. I'm going to go with a very similar go two one to Liverpool, and I think for exactly the same reason we talked about, they got more pace in the side. I think they've played they pressed the ball. They might catch Real Madrid out by kitchen on the ball high up the field. I think they've got players that can run in behind Real Madrid, alaba might not be fully fit, so there's another player that could be not a liability, but it could be exposed, Liverpool two one. So they put both of them are going for Liverpool, indeed. Oh, no, no, no, I'm not revealing my prediction. I should mention. I couldn't even put my united to win a match these days, much less the champion Z final. Oh, we missed those glory days. But anyways, you know we love to get creative when it comes to predictions for the Champions League Final. We had a fun day today, a nice little feature that you guys should look out for. It's coming up tomorrow without giving anything away, guys. How we picked the winner, how was it today? It was quite fun. We made some croissants. Did I say it right? I love the cliche that I'm a reading people do about the French people. Even my producers say, can you come with your beer? You know? And I say, well, you know, I don't have a bear right. But it was a very nice experience because I didn't know what to do. And I know. So I'm going to bake some crosses. All I would say, Alexis. You and I were listening to what the woman was telling us. Yes. Somebody wasn't listening. Off doing other things. The fact that he has French blood, he says, I don't need to listen to instructions. I'm just going to make people we all know about everything. Well, as I said, Kay, you can definitely see these guys in some aprons. Myself included, but mainly it was about them, and you can see who ended up winning that battle of the croissants and pano chakras. It's coming up on ESPN FC tomorrow. In the meantime, it's back to UK. Absolutely can't wait to see that. I wonder if they could have saved any for us. I'll bring them back here. I bet not. I bet not. Let us know welcome into the Chauchat. We don't know what you said. And Ian dark as well. Let's continue that conversation about Thiago. I actually want to start with you, Stevie. Are you tempted to not start him? No, I think the fact that it has a hamstring problem, you have to start them. Now I think Clark and Liverpool are lucky. He can make 5 soaps. You know, my only worry for Liverpool is Van Dyck, fabinho, and Alcantara. That is the only problem I have in there going into this game. The only one, all three. It's the only one. Together. Hamstrings. But they can still start with three of them. Can be able to make three changes. Can they play? And they play the way they play best if these guys aren't fully fit. No. Absolutely not. You know, the one that could get away with would be Van Dyck. Now he's seeing that he just needed a rest and it wasn't his Armstrong blah blah. But clearly, it wasn't comfortable in that in that area..

"But I think it's going to be Valverde. So Vinicius junior could be the threat to break the off sideline, not Benzema, but that is a problem. The other problem is, of course, never right back who's a great footballer, but doesn't want to defend. It doesn't even have a defensive thought in his head at times. And I mean, Frank, you weren't here yesterday, but we were talking. We were asking Robert probably some of the matchups that he can't wait to see. One of those video junior, I'd probably try and Alexander Arnold. What about you? What do you think? It might be the key of the game, because of course I'm sure this is going to use that. As Robert said, Benzema is going to come short. And finishes and maybe I think Rodrigo is going to come behind the defense in the central defense. It's up to either a battle in Puerto Rico or Alexander Arnold for Vinicius to cover. But Alexander doesn't like to do that, it doesn't like to look beyond him, and that's going to be the case. And there's going to be the key, sorry. And it's up to, I think, the central defenders to cover him. And to anticipate that. Otherwise, they're going to have big troubles. And speaking of Liverpool defenders as well, Frank, this is your forte. There's a certain man there called Karen Benzema. If you're going in and you have to mark him, how do you stop him? Because this is a man with experience and he's clearly having the best season of his life. How do you stop someone like that? You know, that question has been asked to me in 1980 by Ronaldo. And I say, well, you know, it works, you know? It did work. And sometimes I think you can have a good day and you have to make.

"We're going to see if he's 100% or not. Because a player like that, you see immediately is a factor is The X Factor or not. Because we've seen it before. Diego Costa, playing for Athletico Madrid against Real Madrid. Everyone is he going to be fit is he not going to be fit. He comes off after ten minutes. Harry Kane for spurs against Liverpool. And so it was a waste of time playing him up front. He can't do that with Tiago. He's not fully fit. How important though overall has he been for Liverpool? Has he made them even better probably than they were before? Yes, because he's now the passer of the ball in midfield. They had a lot of energy in midfield when one Eldon was playing. He wasn't a great password, but he was a player that got into the box. Henderson's obviously high work, right? Katy has got high work, right? But Thiago is the player that can manipulate the ball where he can switch the play, you can play clever little balls around the corner. So he does that little bit extra for Liverpool, I would say. He's a fantastic player. He makes a difference in the most important player now in recent times, at least in the last couple of months. I don't like to go in those individual, you know, compliments in a way that it's a teamwork and but he makes something special. But don't forget favino. It works for in fact Trent Alexander Arnold. You know when he goes a little bit to two forward to forward or even Robertson. That's the guy that I love the most, but when you watch jagus, you love football. Yes. He brings something special. He does work something special indeed. So does a certain Diaz who has been brilliant, but we're going to get to talking about the Colombian in just a bit before that though. Frank since you're now just joining us yesterday, we spoke about all of the narratives gab maratti was here. He told us about all of the themes, the storylines going into this match. You know, whether it's a perfect chance for most sale and Liverpool to get revenge on Real Madrid, whether Real Madrid just wants to put out a massive performance to kind of cushion the heartbreak that they are undoubtedly going through after killing them bappy pledges future to PSG. But as the players, you as a player, we're talking about what's going on on the pitch. How much of this do they take onto the pitch? You know what? I think it's a media story. We try to bring it up, you know, to make sure that the fight was going to be exciting. It is going to be exciting. But football is full of details that you have to resolve. And musala won the Champions League two years ago. So he forgot about the fact that he got a prime with his arm and he got injured and he didn't win the championship game Real Madrid. Deeply against Real Madrid last season, you know, and but he said it, he says that they have a special. Again, we can not answer in Paris when Real Madrid lost against Liverpool. They could say it's a revenge as well. I think it's just stories to create something special, but on the field, I think everything's going to be forgotten. Everybody's going to be spot on on what they have to do and what to achieve. And you don't need to. You don't need a bigger motivation that the motivation that you have playing a championship final come on, you know? And the talk of the coaches are very simple, very easy before, because those players and even if they want before champers league games at chapter three finals like grandmother did and Liverpool did, they played the game of their life because it's a present time. Two of the best clubs definitely in the world, especially this year. They surely don't need any more narratives going into this. No, I mean, Real Madrid at the beginning of the season, they were thought to be maybe second, third, best in La Liga. Athletic and Madrid were favorites. Everyone said they were going to win the title again. But you have to give credit to angelotti. He came in and he started off in the first couple of games with the likes of bail and hazard playing up front. It didn't work, and then he changed it and he got the right formation, he got the right tactics and they've just stuck with it. The only time he changed the tactics was when Benzema couldn't play and they played against Barcelona and lost four zero. So he'll just stick to the same tactics in this game I would imagine. And then just speaking about Real Madrid as you pointed out there, the earlier on in the season, I remember halfway through the season in December before the major Derby. We got to speak to Tony Cruz, I spoke to Tony Cruz, and he actually said that he's a bit surprised that they were that far ahead in La Liga at the time because he said, honestly, I don't think we've been playing our best at all. Maybe even half our best, but some way somehow we keep getting through, does that give Madrid kind of the edge and going this one or can you see how Liverpool can overwhelm them? Because the truth is, Madrid has struggled a lot this season, even though it doesn't show how they've won La Liga. Chelsea, not this season, but the last season showed how to play against Real Madrid when they outpoured them. They outrun them. They found spaces in behind Real Madrid's midfield. And I thought in most of the Champions League games against PSG against immensely, that would happen again. But they've somehow found a way of keeping in the game and then winning it. I think Liverpool, if they are and we talk about fabinho and Thiago being fully fit and they play at a high tempo and they keep sticking the ball in behind Real Madrid. In my view, they're still the better team of the two. And I mean, I'm sat, of course, beside the likes of Pablo sabale, Luis Garcia, a lot of times in laliga watching Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu. They go a goal behind everyone starts to panic. I go, oh no, this could be a juicy one and they look at me and they say, I've seen this script before. This is something that real thrive on, but you look at that match with PSG was two legs. You look at the match with Chelsea, that was also two legs, Frank. This is only one match. There's no two legs. There's very little room for error. So are they running the risk of Liverpool wearing them down? Of course, because I think Tony cross confirmed what I think and Madrid fans really think that I age really are my big ones. You told us you did. No, no, no. You can still angry that they not Chelsea. No, no, because when to get the contrary of what you're saying, in one game, they did the job at Stanford bridge. Yeah, and they play fantastically against Chelsea the first leg. Well, I guess Jesse was really horrendous that night. But essentially, I think they have the spirit to do whatever it takes, even for one game. And Liverpool players didn't know that. Even if they lead one zero or two new, they know that at certain point because of the.

"Be sure we do the right stuff in the right moment and that's what we try. So big boost and the numbers show it they've won 84% of their games at Thiago starts compared to 68% when he doesn't for more on this situation. Let's send it out now to Paris with Alexis Nunes and the crew. Thanks so much Kate and much like you said that Thiago makes Liverpool better. These two guys make me better and back with robbo but look we have sir Frank Labeouf joining us. I'm saying sir because you've got that little red thing on you jackets and it means something, right? Yes, I'm a knight of the republic. Thank you for mister chirac. But yes, I will be in English. You will have to call me sir. But the only sir is Stewart Ian Robson. SIR. Literally Stewart initials. But the truth is we're here, Frank, we're finally in your country, Champions League week. The city seems like it's buzzing. Is it buzzing more than usual for the football? It is. And welcome to my country, and it's true that when you have the chance for a beautiful living like the championship finally is, yeah, everybody is looking forward to receiving the world of media and also to be watching that fantastic game and we are looking forward for that and we very much very much happy. We are massively excited for this one. And I think Liverpool fans in the last 24 hours as you alluded to Kate are much more excited because there is some news after Jurgen klops conference that Thiago Alcântara could possibly be fitting off to play in this final guys and if he is not even a 100% fit, but at least a little bit fit. Shortly he has to start. If he's not fully fit, he doesn't start. As simple as that, you can't be a player. What is that X Factor player for them, isn't he? But he won't be The X Factor if he can't run, or he can't get around the pitch, or he can't manipulate the ball and get away from people. You have to be not maybe a 100% fit, but at least 90% fit. And I got from the comments that Jürgen Klopp made, he might play some part in the game. That's what he said. He didn't say he was going to start. He said he might play some part in the game. The problem with that is that the coach is going to ask chago. How do you feel? Yeah. And he's going to lie, because he wants to be. He wants to play. And everybody will do the same. I will do the same as Joel as us. As well. So the truth of that will not know, we won't know. We will know well while he was playing. And when he's going to play,.

"What do you think of Thiago almada? I mean, the quality is there. You see that just on the finish there. His ability to kind of like find that space and find that little margin, and the bigger question I had was less about his quality and maybe more how it fit within the team and just how this Atlanta team was going to kind of work together, but when you see now how these pieces are starting to gel and some of the goals that they're scoring, especially the goals that are coming from that combination play in tandem. You're seeing that that piece is like, it's looking really good for Atlanta United, moving forward that now, defensively, there are still some issues as far as getting stretched or isolated and part of that's just come from I think so much of the injuries and just how important miles Robinson is is just one of the best defenders in this league. And so but as far as the quality goes, those guys are magic right there with the combination with Moreno and our usu and the little it wasn't just that goal from amato is that his little like outside of the foot kind of like lifted through ball there. That our auj puts in. It was like, I mean that's nice, right? So the quality is there. And I agree with Doyle. Doyle is saying he's still really high on this Atlanta United team. And I agree, I think they have a lot of they have a lot left considering if you were to take out for me. If you were to take out the top four most important players coming up through the center of any team and see what happens to an MLS team, I would say you'd be at the very, very bottom of the table for almost any team at MLS. But the way of sporting constructed. Yeah. You see now this team still has a lot left in the tank. And in some ways, I feel like these guys are only just starting to chill and I think Jill in the postgame show. In the interview, I think the manager said, I think there's still more from these three. Yeah. I'm going to jump on top of that and say, it's not just attacking quality. It's attacking chemistry. And the kaolin said it Gonzalo Pineda said it. And it's there and it's obvious when you see especially almada and araujo playing together that aruja goal is a great example of it, but we saw it a week ago as well against the fire, those two guys, even though they're similar type players, and even though I think at first glance, the fit was a little bit questionable. I'm over that already with those two guys in particular. They're clearly already making each other better. And that's going to allow two things. First of all, it's talented as barco was. He never had chemistry with anybody. He was that type of player and almada has already surpassed that. So I think that there were some justifiable concerns in the Atlanta fan base ahead of the season that he was just going to be barco two. He's already better than that. So that's one. And two, you know, going back to the union discussion, they don't have the talent out there. I mean, maybe when aura comes back, it'll change, but they don't have the talent out there to brute force wins..
