Why Does Joe Biden Care if He's in the Majority or Minority?

"So here's Joe Biden. Once extolling the virtues of the United States, welcoming in minorities. Not only are Muslim communities, but African communities, Asian communities, Hispanic communities, and the waves still continues. It's not going to stop. Nor should we want it to stop. And as a matter of fact, it's one of the things I think we can be most proud of. So there's a second thing in that black box. An unrelenting stream of immigration, nonstop, nonstop, folks like me who were Caucasian of European descent. For the first time in 2017, we'll be in an absolute minority in the United States of America. Absolute minority, fewer than 50% of the people in America, from then and on. Will be white European stock. That's not a bad thing. That's a source of our strength. That's not a bad thing that's a source of our strength. Now, I don't know what difference is. What does he care if he's in the majority race or the minority race? He cares because he believes that if minorities become the majority, that will benefit the Democrat party with more votes. I don't think Joe Biden sits around and says, oh, isn't it great that whites are in the minority? That's a great thing. That's a source of all these bromides and all these platitudes he's spewing out in that clip. He's doing that because he wants more Democrat votes.

Bezos Calls Out Biden President Over Inflation and Corporate Taxes

"You think about Jeff Bezos being much more sort of in step with the liberal left given that he owns and runs up well he owns Washington Post. Anyway, he's out there. He's stepping up his criticism of the Biden administration on Twitter. This is pretty good. He's going to new one out. I'm going to share with you, but what I loved was what he put out on Friday as we went into the weekend. This thing was epic. Epic. On Friday. Jeff Bezos called President Biden over a tweet in which Biden said that taxing wealthy corporations could actually help lower inflation. Okay, that's just wrong, right? It's just wrong because think about it for two seconds. If you tax corporations more, they still need to deliver to their shareholders, therefore they're just going to raise prices even more. So that actually really doesn't make any sense. He said, and I quote, you want to bring down inflation, let's make sure the wealthiest corporations pay their fair share. This was on May 13th. And Bezos then retweeted it with some info of his own urging, well, sort of urging the disinformation board to review that one, right? He said quote, raising corporate taxes is fine to discuss. Taming inflation is critical discuss. Mushing them together is just misdirection. In other words, where's the government disinformation board that ministry of truth as we like to call it? Where are they when you need it? Oh, wait a second. They can't actually help in this case because you see the government itself. Is the source of the misinformation?

Phelim McAleer Describes His Film 'My Son Hunter'

"For those people listening who are not familiar with the film that you and Ann are making, tell us what is this film because you've been on the show, but not everybody listens to the show every day. My son hunter is the film. It's about Hunter Biden's dodgy dealings. I say it's part Austin Powers, parts on the carrier part House of Cards. It's about Hunter Biden's dodgy dealings. It's about Joe Biden's dodgy dealings. It's an absurdist romp through Hunter Biden's drug adult past and possibly present. And it's true. It's true. I mean, the best source of a lot of it is hunker Biden's autobiography, where he talks about, I mean, this is a guy who says, I had to leave the board meeting of burisma every 20 minutes to take a crack hit, you know, to get some crack in my system. This guy was getting paid $83,000 a month by burisma for four years. He was paid millions of dollars. He was part of a $1.2 billion fund. By the Chinese government, he was getting money from the former mayor of Moscow's ex-wife, 3.5 million, he was money was just flowing in from these foreign sources, and he has emails. Joe Biden is called in for 10%. Joe Biden has come in for 50%. These are facts. So anyway, but that's the fact. Not anyway. I want to be very clear. So in case anybody's driving in their half listening, this is true and fail them an Ann a journalist and they're making a film about this. A movie. Whatever the difference is. Filming a movie. Stop it. This is what happens to me like I always put into the room. But my question is, you're making, you're making a movie. Okay, but the point is it's true. And it's about the biggest story there is. We're talking about corruption. In The White House, corruption at the highest level with our foreign enemies. Everyone ought to be clamoring to cover this and as we know, it's crickets. That's how you know we're living in truly mad times.

Twitter Pushes Out Two Execs Ahead Of Elon Musk Deal Close

"But let's turn back to the markets right now because Twitter actually, let's see where Twitter ended the day. Twitter ended, well, it's still quite a bit away from that 54 20 Mark, right? That's the price that Elon Musk is paying per share. So we're expecting that the stock will move higher, provided the deal closes. And that's the, that's the trade we're watching right now. You see the risk garb guys, there was garb traders and gals. Aggressively trading this stock to see whether or not it's going to get to that 54 20. Today or at least in Thursday's session, we found that it was just at $45 and 8 cents a share. I want to point out that the company did part ways with two key executive two executives that had senior level positions. This is presumably as it starts to really begin this change process, right? The shift towards a new culture given all that's expected when Elon Musk comes in. I just want to state again. I think it's healthy to have some diversity in opinion. And I think unfortunately, too many of these big tech companies have had sort of only one way of thinking and so consequently everybody is so easily offended. Everybody's so anxious to take something down and what Elon Musk has really advanced is this idea that you need to err on the side of speech. So this is an important cultural shift for Twitter. It's also pretty strategic because Elon's plan is to take the company private for three years and then bring it back out to public markets, but it needs revenue, right? It's not anywhere near reaching its potential when you think about how many users it has and how it's grown those users and yet how do you tap into that as a revenue source. That's what the company is really failed to do what Elon Musk thinks he

Balancing Conversations With Liberal Friends and Family

"Hey Charlie, my name is Jonathan. I go to cast a Fullerton. And I guess I have a simple question. Like in a family full of conservatives, we're kind of the minority in the grand family. I just want to know how I can converse with the rest of my family being like liberal. And especially my Friends as well. Without obviously causing Discord in too much hurt, I guess. Yeah. Well, never be the source of hurt. That's my first piece of advice. So don't be the one to call names or try to disassociate from people. But I think every conservative here in this audience would agree that you lost friends, but they left you. You didn't leave them. And I never support the severing of friendships over politics. But I'm also realistic. It happens all the time where people stop being friends with you because of politics. I bet every single person in this room could resonate with that. So look, this is a, this is a situation where you're going to have to balance. Are you going to tell the truth when there might be a consequence to it? And it's also how you say it. It's also how you communicate it, having that balance of a 100% grace with a 100% truth, trying to be magnanimous, and how you communicate, I think is really, really important. But also, you know, understanding that in family dynamics, you have to prioritize whether or not you want the family to kind of stay together, whether or not you want to make a political point. And I don't say this advice lightly. There's some politics that there's some families that should never discuss politics. And there's an argument for that. It's like they're so rigid in their beliefs. It's just going to cause a Civil War. Now, some people say, you know what? I'm going to say what I want to say and I know personally. Dozens of examples of parents that don't talk to children anymore. I think that's really unhealthy. I think it's not good at all. But it's a balance. I think that everyone should know where you stand. And then the final piece of advice is go to work on a family member where there's a little bit of openness.

Elon Musk Has a Plan for Twitter... Taking it Private

"The Elon Musk news and Twitter Elon Musk is reportedly considering taking Twitter public again a few years after he writes the ship by taking it private. This is all according to a new report in The Wall Street Journal. It's not surprising at all. It's one of the things I actually suggested, he might be looking to do initially. It does cite reporting from the private equity community sources there at The Wall Street Journal that say Elon is telling investors he could return the social media company to the public markets just a few years, three years after going private. Now, if he succeeds in securing investment, that means he's not going to have to fork over all that money himself. He can lower the $21 billion price tag that he'd planned to kick in himself, and apparently private equity firm Apollo is said to be looking at participating. Keep in mind, this is what the industry does, right? PE industry goes in, they take these companies private, they spiff them up, and then they take them out public again. Supreme Court Confirms Leaked Abortion Draft Is Authentic

"Breaking now on the Mike Gallagher show, while the Supreme Court has issued a response to the report of this draft opinion, chief justice John Roberts strongly condemning the leak to the press in a brief message, the court acknowledged that the leaked document is real. So so much for my buddy Mark Davis theory that it was fake. By but noting that it is just a draft, the court has not issued a final decision on the matter. The court said, just quote, justices circulate draft opinions internally as a routine and essential part of the court's confidential deliberative work, although the document described in yesterday's reports is authentic. It does not represent a decision by the court or the final position of any member on the issues in the case. Roberts also issued a statement, he announced that he has called upon the marshal of the court to investigate the situation and find the source who leaked the document to Politico. Justice Roberts also spoke out against the notion that the leak could succeed as a political maneuver to influence the court. Roberts said to the extent this betrayal of the confidences of the court was intended to undermine the integrity of our operations, it will not succeed the work of the court will not be affected in any

Brad Anderson: Voluntarily Losing a Customer Over Politics Is Insane

"It's not easy to run a company It gets harder and harder when the economy is deteriorating like it is today With inflation difficulty getting product difficulty getting parts they call it the supply chain Most of American ever heard of that before And the situation is really quite dire And yet we have boards of directors Brad Anderson and CEOs and other executives who are so focused on politics and mostly of the left I might say When they should be focused on the shareholder am I right Or are you ever You rail constantly against things that are insane And I think this is in this territory We used to have a number of what it costs us every time we lost the customer And it was a big number And it was going to cost us a ton of money to win a new one to replace the one we lost So voluntarily losing a customer because the corporation decides it's going to disagree with them about some principle they believe in is just insane Plus corporations are not moral sources of authority There are groups of people who have all kinds of different points of view working to try to serve a customer And you're serving the customer You're not telling the customer what to think

"Which you had mentioned regulation in product integrity each of those. How did you walk out how to serve weightage. Some really we thought the availability of product was pretty important too much the innovation that's going on in the sites and we talk a lot about the industry. Being to what extent is it. Regulates driven is it operates adrift on a raise actually supply-side driven now. Think one of the things. We really seen in betting spices false pace of change but we'll see particularly online particularly from the supply side of you know the new innovations coming in unless obviously bit light. But i live in play betting. So you know if these products becoming available into the space and you'll looking at markets that all restricting the availability of these products. It's only gonna to that ability offshore. You know there's more. And more offshore oil prices will would offer things like live in play betting where props as freely available on show and so the product availability was quite heavily weighted but also as regulates a you won't to be looking to protect your license. Operators on the of that comes down to how they can operate not just in terms of the fees to pay the taxes the have to pie but also in terms of whether they are restricted into of marketing and appetizing. You know within the market. Is it getting front as many eyeballs as possible in terms of getting their off a two two punches dre often. You find that some of the offshore oil prices and we've done quite a bit of this as as to the street. Four years is looking at the show market some of the tactics be employed being employed to get direct to customers all quite alarming and in many regards so you know if you do regulates market you want to protect your license. Longshore prices and give them the best chance of success that you can. Yup i think honestly if you look at our segment. I don't think much commerce surprise to anyone that follows the industry. I mean the countries iraq. They're buying large. Maybe the exception of two states new jersey in nevada. You think you would probably imagine them to roughly where they should be. I was a little bit surprised Nevada war because a relatively new states regulated. But i think about it. They come from a very different place. If kind of moved on from the you know a lot of the country's on here from europe you know the old world where there was this traditional monopoly in some of these countries. They haven't really left that baggage behind whereas in the us you know. The pretty much can have started afresh with the regulation of online vetting debris taken on board. I think some of the best practices. They've seen the so surprised and on nevada new jersey. But then when i think about it. I'm quite optimistic. That maybe this is the restless states. Also open up. And i think just underline davis points about impulsive donuts and asking Cool german gaining. Malky give him the museum regulation. That are happening. In the maintenance and you've had comfy from authorites is than revenues dropped seventy seven premachandran and the online gaming due to the restrictions in product lipping implements. It is gone from about ninety cents on shoal to fifty off your market has gone through ten cents fifty percents of the market within three months and kill the function of the side. It is a substantial united. Swing function in terms of the on shore. Operates is cannot because they didn't want products than no matter how hard he tried. Block the offshore is the customers will not products and they will find them on done a shift. They activity to a few operates his wife because everyone knows is black section toxic central front mattie section and no not saving more impulse in when he gets the integrity issues in full of with looking at. Yeah you mentioned that. Germany as market. That's undergoing change as right now. Dr. few different markets where. That's not in. The report. Annual might be a provisional score if there's major changes that are underway right. Now i suppose if you were looking ahead if you were to do this report a a few years time. How do you feel like things might change with designing. That you feel might be anywhere you feel might be moving upward down or any other. Just general trends across the globe with some paper might be alarmed a great britain being took the scheldt there and scoring side highly. I mean people always talk about the uk the most balanced and commercially on an well-regulated marketing in the sector overstates guy. True sung transition at the moment and knight is still in the balances as we record in terms of how that will play out So the extent to which it retains its high ranking roughing will be of interest in in the next next year to eighteen months. You know not depends on the head. Brinson as we say keeping that balance between operators in regulates it will be really important when the modern it's still upright barrett because of its large number of licenses available it's high channelization. Right reasonable types. Right lots of restrictions on products at the moment i know cisco good integrity provision. Even the uk's not yet ratified the mike lynn convention on sports minute elation but a good history and betsy integrity provisions so think the j. visa wants to watch you would hope that some of the the cool strong markets in europe spain's italy's sweden's franz stenmark to certain extent tax write rise. It'd be interesting to see whether the channelization rights sites high or whether they continue to draw up an country like australia it is relatively low down the rankings. Which will always find interesting because australia as many of you will now is by far. The highest gambling spent ahead in the world is almost twice as much as anyone else. Except singapore as yet staleness not getting. Its regulation right when it comes to the betting products particularly in some sort of prohibition of of leiden play betting except saw over telephone so still accused offshore market in australia. So you hope and change that. Probably the biggest one that you'd expect to see them. What's happening right now. Is maybe canada. Wish weighed on the rankings of the moment possibly not surprising tons monopoly structure and its preoccupation on single event bechik but there is obviously Underway in possibly come back. in a year. Eighteen months torn. That'll be really different. Cavallo involved in nastiness seem a lot of the conversations with about regulating malka. So the some trends that you'll saying if wounded regulation the mainland so we're talking of netherlands. Jeremy basell learning cullman seems to the regulators are concerned about a song pretty individual every i mean every country has their own issues. They have their own concerns. One of the things. I really noticed especially with the us within home watch the integrity at the heart of almost everything and i think whereas in europe this has changed slightly. Maybe more than slightly. Actually you know in. Europe is always Gambling which it should be. It's always the tall. Maybe integrity was never always de focus. That has changed over the last few years but in the us it is really being the center of attention. Everything has been centered around integrity. I think we'll we will see not gonna with other marcus opening up. You know in latin america integrity will also be kind of a key issue a lot of the things that we are seeing requirement being part of a monitoring body.

Say that you've got a lot of experience in in both schools racing on on gambling so maybe less stop talking about the independence of of the gambling and horse racing industry. Yeah i think it's most people are lots of people forget. The racing and betting are completely simple symbolic we as an industry racing cannot survive without betting and racing existed in the first place for our cracks to raise the horses against each other and best against each other. So right from the start supposed rising Betting has always been there and And we all dependent on investing for survival and health on a space. The funding comes from gambling industry. So it is. It is a simple relationship One of the things that only just interrupt that because the Notable the revenues come from betting because Attendance at rice goals is Is about half of the revenue. The at the moment of asleep. We don't have that revenue said at the moment. We all totally dependent on on betting. The industry's funding the nominees. it's not quite as bad as up. I'm say the events in old betsy sponsorship mean at the grand national sponsored by a raid oxen crop trees. So so it's not. All bad thing is a lot of it is is betting companies sponsoring macy's and may strikes in one thing that jumped up this year is being a bit of a push by politicians other people about betting in football a specs. They are racing does have. This seems very different to other schools. Where is it seem more accessible to to help that relationship with bookmakers whereas in other schools and they say threats. Yeah i think there's a recognition that we have relatively aging ordinance that there's not a huge number of children who In it's not like. Oh buying replica shirts with the name of bookmaker on the front of it And i think. I mean if you look at the high lords report On on gambling and and the The concerns of ice football sponsorship by betting companies. One of the things is that they recommended a call for racing. I mean i think clearly racing needs to be aware that the environment is changing and the acceptability of gambling as a product but gambling sponsors. Looks like it's it's gonna change. A full sports gambling em. I'm i'm sure there's people who love certain aspects of daily fantasy and there's opportunities to do you know to to simple to be a little bit you don't have to risk his lodge and you're you're able to kind of look players specific players on different teams and there's the fantasy business here in the. Us is very strong and people really enjoy that. And i think it feels. Gambling is a little taboo still here And people are not fully comfortable with gambling. generally and so i think the evolution of this of first step on daily fantasy is exposed a lot of people to just the aspects of risking money. And how that you can do that. But but generally daily. He goes away but as sports. Gambling opens up to two more states. I think you'll definitely see the evolution of someone being more comfortable more educated jumping into actual sports betting and and maybe not risking is much in the daily fantasy space. The other interesting aspect. I think of the daily fantasy is expandable and and draftkings in a couple. Others were pretty prolific here..

The potential spoils leading edge more engaged with statistics Deputy having in other sports outside the us. Oh yeah that's right. see. I didn't know I think data drives a lot of lot of engagement around this in even just saw it in the world series. Where are a key moment in the world series. Pitcher was pitching very well but kind of the data says that when you face the this team for the third time the bat that that they tend to really hit that pitcher more meanwhile your gotten instincts says this guy. This picture is rolling. And he's owning the dodgers And so why take him out in. So data's driving a ton of decisions Both within the sports. And i think the audiences are becoming more and more interested in how Data drives decision making in sports unrelated to gambling. But certainly you know what what are the opportunities and how does this impact. What t- might how much they might score or whether they're going to win or not are what players will over achieve. And so that's part of the education this year and i think we do have audiences that love to Read and consume the data part on on a completely unrelated night but he made me think the data i n r. Baseball is such data driven sort. So we own a website a fantasy option site where you get data analysis. You don't play the game baseball. Hq dot com. And it's baseball. Sometimes you can really get deep down. And that if you focused on on certain data points get actually build a team and build a successful one Based on statistics and certain attributes that may be other managers or general manager. However then every week, I, we would chipping away. On I think we are. Weeks last week and we were down to three a two and I just clicked into the truck as it stands at the moment, will actually down to three seven, eight, nine five. She takes his through the twenty percent. Byron Times of what we taken off what we expected. Note the sexy debate. We're at now so twenty percent down, but that isn't. What's being lost in those fourteen weeks. What we have been doing? Is We loading what we know Watson out so for instance when the Macau Casinos were closed in as I recall. Seems like ancient history now. But whenever I closed around the end of January, beginning February into early March, we would strike out in that week. That closure all model, so is just announced. It was looking out needs because he knew July, so we now shook out. Any activity than that is now including all thinking, so it's not a running count of what's being lost in real time. It's what we know. I'm with always I. I guess the best case scenario. We have good assumptions in when facilities will open, school will stop appreciate bullish at the moment because they assume that the the next review markets will stop opening up now. We don't go from zero to hundred will come back to that, so we do have assumptions around what the ramparts will look like on.
