New EU Travel Restrictions, Country By Country, As Covid-19 Rates Soar
"Cases of covid nineteen are rising in some places exceeding the numbers of the earliest weeks of the pandemic and restrictions are once again descending as of Friday more than forty six, million French people in thirty eight cities and regions are living under overnight curfew lockdowns have returned to Slovakia the Czech Republic and island among others here in the United Kingdom, we live beneath a three tier regime of limitations which might feel even more of an imposition if anybody understood any of them. All that being the case grounds for optimism may seem difficult to spot. But while we may not have a solution, we should by now have a better understanding of the problem and hopefully some sharp ideas about means of containing covid nineteen, which don't result in ailments worse than those associated with the virus itself.
Sorry folks, you need to upgrade phone every year now
"We may not like I'm going to say so let me just get it out. Get used to it. It's time to just keep your phones for a year that's it period. Upgrade every twelve months because as good as your old phone is upgrading makes a lot more economic sense. And why fight it apple Samsung and Google do such an amazing job. Every twelve months of convincing us why we need to ditch the old model for the new I say you just go with it. Now, there's many websites online that will buy your old phone from you and apple best buy in the wireless carriers play that game too or you could sell it yourself on Ebay or craigslist maybe make a little bit more money. But in order to get good dollars for the device, it needs to be the latest model. For instance declutter DOT COM, they'll pay four hundred and fifty nine dollars for last year's iphone eleven pro or five hundred dollars for the eleven pro Max. The models that initially sold for a thousand dollars in eleven hundred dollars. Now, apple promises to offer just about the same in trading credit four, hundred, fifty or five hundred dollars now granted your device has to be in good condition without a cracked screen and noticeable wear and tear apple insists that it turns on and functions normally all the buttons and cameras work. The body is free of dents and scratches, and at the touchscreen and back glass are undamaged good luck with that one. Now Apple, ask you to answer those questions online, and if they agree that you have indeed been truthful, you get the five hundred dollar credit or. Quote if your device does not match the condition you described, you'll receive a revised trade in. Value Unquote. Let's say apple only gives you four hundred dollars for a new phone and you nabbed thousand dollar iphone twelve pro for six hundred bucks plus tax, and you plan to trade it back twelve months from now your cost of ownership a dollar sixty, five a day. For a device that you will use every day all day for email texts, web serving facebook, posting tweets, paying for goods, stores, hailing an Uber or lift listening to music, watching movies and TV shows taking all those amazing photos and sharing them everywhere under the sun. Now the point is a dollar sixty five a day is that really minor purchase even when you do the math and expanded to eleven dollars and fifty five cents a weekly or fifty dollars monthly. Now, in Apple's new phone, you get stronger glassed it says is four times less likely to crack a camera that takes better photos in low light higher resolution video, a more powerful processing chip for spiff your performance, and as good as the eleven pro model is is just not as good. If you don't feel like selling I understand but hear me out because if you go back further in time you're older phones just aren't worth much. The tennis Max will get your three, hundred, seventy bucks the tennis three, hundred dollars the ten are two, fifty, the eight, plus two, ten, the eight, one, forty, and considering that these older phones have more years on them. The odds of them nabbing the amount of money that apple tout's is really remote. Now, just to confuse you even more the carriers have basically turned the corner and they're sort of offering free phones in deals again with that new two year or slightly longer contract, the iphone twelve is free with at and T.. Trade in thirty month commitment to paying sixty eight dollars and forty nine cents monthly for an unlimited plan. But I think that they'll stinks because you're on the hook for two thousand and fifty four dollars you're locked into a plan they could charge more than rivals and you'll have to pay a penalty to leave early. Trading Street to apple or selling to a use site makes a lot more sense financially. T mobile throws a hundred and fifty dollar gift card on top your trade-in. Once you sign up for service, which is good while verizon sells you the new phone on time fifteen dollars monthly for existing customers were ten dollars thirty seven cents monthly for new customers with a two year term on top of the trade in again, you'll pay a lot more for the phone this way. So a way better deal sign up for apple's credit card, which offers no interest monthly installments for the new phone over a two year period with a four hundred dollars traded on the iphone eleven pro you're looking at twenty dollars and seventy nine cents monthly. Now, that's a two year contract. You'll have to Weasel Anna in twelve months but apple says, you can do it and it ends up clocking in at sixty nine cents a day and you WanNa hold onto your old phone. Really.
U.S. sees record surge in coronavirus cases
"Today. We have had what is the largest number of new cove infections in this country on any single day? Since the pandemic hit, we just hit a new record. This is the screaming headline right now the Washington Post America hits highest daily number of coronavirus cases since pandemic began nation is poised to enter its worst stretch yet of the pandemic with hospitalizations rising in thirty eight states. Wanted. To show you those statements tonight from Caldo Doshi in the ICU nurse and emily caps the. In part because of where they're from. Mr Dotion is an ICU nurse working at what is now converted into a full Cova D- unit in Duluth. MINNESOTA. But Emily Cops, the CNA she's in, as I said, a town called Quinta Kansas. Quinta Kansas is population one thousand. That's Work Winter Kansas's. It's four hours, drive north west of Wichita. If you're trying to find it on the map, it is as rural as rural America gets. That's what's happening. Now, that's what's driving this in the country. The last time we had case numbers anywhere near this Hai literally, most of the cases in the country at that time were from a handful of large population states for Florida and California and Texas and Arizona now, it's a handful of states it's everywhere. And there's something else I want to point out about where we are right now. Can we can we? Put the national graph back up there for a second. Look at look at where we've been not just where we are right now. But where we've been that I peek that we got in early April of terrible right when up to like thirty thousand cases day just atrocious thousands of Americans died hundred thousand people dead by the end of May because of that peak in new cases that we saw in early April. But? Look. How we got to that peak, we got to that peak from here on the graph look at the baseline we built up from in that case, right? We got to that I we were starting at zero it was a new virus, the no, the novel coronavirus we started with basically zero cases in this country in January February, and we went in that first peak from zero cases up to thirty thousand cases today. But then after that I peak and we started to come back down we didn't come all the way back down. We didn't go all the way back down to zero. We never actually got below an average of about twenty thousand new cases every day so that we started to surge again, we were searching from a higher point. There was tons more virus circulating in the country at a baseline level, and so because we were building on a bigger base line. When we had a second surge while there was higher amounts of virus circulating out there every day our second peak ended up being that much higher. Our second peak ended up being twice as I in terms of the peak rate of new infections because our baseline started higher. Right and in that second peak. Tens of thousands of people died right that's when we hit that second peak in high summer. All those cases stacked up with a high summer. We ended up with two hundred thousand Americans dead by the third. Week of September. After we saw that huge pecan cases in the high summer. But now, here's our problem right now because after that second scary second peak in the high summer when we drop back down again, not only do we not go down to zero wouldn't even go back down to where we we're. We're our baseline had previously been. When we drop down after that second peak, our new baseline didn't spend much time low forty, thousand new cases a day. and. Now that huge high baseline number is where we are climbing up from. So how high are we going to get this time I? Mean our peak number of infections keeps getting higher with each subsequent surge because with each subsequent surge, we're building on an increasingly large baseline. An increasingly large baseline of virus circulating in the country and that is happening over time as time moves from left to right on this graph, you can see our country increasingly failing overtime. And getting worse and worse and worse at stopping the spread of the virus, which is why peaks keep going up. If we can't get our baseline down ever if each new baseline between these surges is higher than each. Peak is going to be higher to and that many more Americans are going to die with each search. So, right now, we never got low right right now, this new search that we've got right now is coming out of a baseline. Of Forty thousand cases a day with a ton of virus circulating in the country. And where we are right now heading back up to a new peak, who knows how high it's going to be we've got a forty percent rise on hospitalizations in this country in the past month. In. The past week at least fourteen states have set hospitalization records. And we're just getting worse and worse and worse than even trying to contain it in some places yesterday in one county in. Idaho. Regional Health Board meeting they heard from their regional epidemiologist that the hospitals in that region of northern. Idaho. We're hitting capacity that they're major local hospital had the previous day hit ninety nine percent capacity even after doubling up patients in rooms and buying more physical hospital beds to try to put patients in them the local health board responded to that news from their epidemiologist by voting at that meeting. To repeal the local mask. mandate. They got told their hospitals or at capacity there's nowhere to put patients anymore in their response was to get rid of the local mass mandate. That's northern Idaho. One County over from where president trump recently tweeted in support of a local anti mask rally. Yeah take off the masks open everything up. And now here's what you get. Soaring covid nineteen infection rates in. Kortelainen in the surrounding communities of Northern Idaho have pushed Kootenai Health Hospital to declare it has reached capacity for all medical and surgical
South Carolina vs. LSU Football Preview
"Certainly one of the most eagerly anticipated games of the day tomorrow night in Baton Rouge between South Carolina and Lsu. Castaneda joining us from down there Quin. Thank you very very much. Appreciate the time, and it looks like a weather. Is An issue for what's going on down there right now? Well, just for the moment I'm across the street Tiger Stadium's to my left in their facility straight across the street I'm about to record up and advancer for tomorrow and had a little lightening. got. Dark severe winds and pouring but you can see the nicer weather up on the horizon. So things should be back to normal about ten minutes. We'll good because. That is a place that doesn't need Louisiana does not need any more bad weather. Quinn let's talk a little bit before we get to the game just about your job this year it's different I'm sure. A lot of zoom calls a lot of unusual situations caused by the pandemic. How would you describe the the obvious difference between this and every other year you've been on the sidelines for ESPN and ABC. Well, it's taken a lot of the fun out of it taken a lot of the things that I enjoyed get on campus to meet with the coaches to talk to the strength coaches just to get a vibe for how that team's doing and you learn so much whether it's Roman down the hallway and talking to a tight ends coach or bumping into a recruiting intern about video, they just paint so so that. Part of my investigation is is far less exciting. This year there's no social aspects in terms of our TV crew, our TV team so it's just zooms and when I'm on the road I'm the only one here are our broadcast crew will will broadcast this from Bristol. I'm the only one here. So I kind of treat this like I'm a spy, I don't touch anything I talked to strangers and I couldn't. quit. There's always a challenge on the sidelines especially. When there is weather but is it any or how different is it i? Guess I'm trying to ask dealing with the crew. Fifteen hundred miles away or maybe longer or farther right upstairs nothing you can see them but you at least know that they were seeing the same thing you're seeing. Yeah there's a little bit of a time delay in the audio so it can be anywhere from two seconds four seconds. So I've been on a crew with Jason Bonetti and Rod Gilmore. The last couple years Mike spent hot the whole game this year I've changed crews almost every week, and because we're doing it remotely. They can't have my mic on because we'd be talking over each other. So we do it old school and I'll talk to the producer I talked back and say, Hey, after the third down, play I wanNA talk about upon her coming out for hey, if they make a first down here I want to talk about how they're tight ends doing a great job so. Do it old school and go through the go through the producer in the in the remote truck. In order in order to get on air whereas in the past I could just talk and we were seamless. Clean on the sidelines I mean to say the least there are restrictions what are they and how much do you have to tiptoe around? It's really not bad. I mean we won I. Did a game not they actually made me call the game from the stands in the front row was good seat but I really couldn't get a feel for what was going on on the benches since then they've just widened appalled widen areas it's actually easier now because there's less hangers on, there's less alums, there's less NFL scouts until the sidelines are vacant and it makes my job a lot easier. I also feel pretty secure in that the players and coaches have all been tested recently as recently as Friday or Saturday morning. So I, feel good in that regard So it's actually almost easier less fans less crowds more space. Speaking of testing. How often do you have to be tested? we test once a week it's either an ad home test, and then you mail it in test results come back in about thirty six hours or it's an onsite tasks on a Thursday afternoon then you quarantine. And then Friday, they released you so so far knock on wood six for six negative tests. That would be Kinda. Nerve wracking you show up at a game and you have to sweat it out and you hope you don't get a a Nick Sabin positive. Let's talk about the game because. It's a really interesting game. Let's start with South Carolina just your. As I know you do gather as much information as you can you probably would like to. Be Able to gather more in person but. Your impressions of what you've seen to them and and what you expect. Well they beat Auburn as you know, and they got the three turnovers and converted those in touchdowns. My issue was South Carolina's they're operating an offense with very limited downfield wide receiver threats shy Smith is a natural slot receiver. Colin Hill is is working Mike, Lobos offense efficiently and their offensive line in running backs or carrying the day. Okay. That's with this team is I'm not sure they're ever going to be a high scoring team defensively they're really good corners who can shut you down they add to the box so. I think South Carolina given that Lsu has a freshman quarterback. I'm leaning towards them having some success defensively in this ball game. So I kinda like Carolina's ability to negate lsu with a freshman quarterback but Carolina's physical they're tough. They're not nothing flashy about him and I think big plays are hard for them I. Think they have to manufacture find ways to manufacturer big plays but I think this team is definitely moving in the right direction I. Think they've improved each week. And the other side of that you alluded to the quarterback situation team that has struggled mightily on defense quarterback play has been pretty good I. Know I know it's impossible to gauge because we don't really have a lot of information but. What have you what have you been able to learn about where they are right now? Yet, teach gets the start a freshman Ponchatoula high school. He's gigantic six, six, two, hundred and forty two pounds nets down from to sixty s a big toll righty and you watch his high school tapes just drops in the pocket and he conflict the ball and it goes forty yards without him even trying he seems like he's calm. He's Louisiana product of this dream for him the ADRENALIN will be running. Also expect to see, Max? Johnson. The son of NFL, quarterback Brad Johnson a lefty also tall but more of a dual threat and when you think about calling the game around a freshman quarterback making his first start, you know any kind of run game would be beneficial and to put the quarterback in successful positions. Early in the game, get him hit but but get a couple first downs give him some easy throws and I think that'll be on the mind of lsu going to be a little more conservative game plan I'd. Imagine. You know he's got targets downfield terrace Marshall their running game I thought was anemic Missouri game that was the most disappointing part of the game in my eyes Missouri was without three defensive tackles in that game and Lsu had no running game whatsoever good news for the Tigers to get Ed Ingram back at left guard. But this is an offense through the air with Miles Brennan that's been outstanding. But now you've got a new freshman quarterback. So expectations drop again, I'm seeing a little bit more of a lower scoring game here. In Clinton's you've seen them. The. Biggest used on defense. Would give. Horrible And coach today sentence embarrassing. Alignment. Very, often they're they're moving at a snap making checks that is when the coverage changes on the fly because of emotion because of formation change that has been a dismal day of given up big play after big play against Mississippi State, it was more catching and run the air raid defense was was atrocious quite honestly continued to play man defense got shredded by crossing patterns but I was at the Mizzou game and That game was defined by busts. I mean just blatant bus where I got him. No you got to I got you got him guys wide open touchdown in the running game. Their linebackers are not playing physical. They're not playing north not playing north. They're not getting to the line of scrimmage and engaging blockers to waiting for runners they're missing tackles remember the tyler beatty runs Missouri fiscally untouched broke attack Lens. Gone So. Those are the headlines here new quarterbacks for Lsu and a defense that has had no answers.
Live Streaming Ecommerce: the new way to sell online
"How about live streaming shopping then the verge is Carmen has an article about how livestream shopping has become huge in China and US companies are trying to catch it on here as well. Amazon. Launched live for influencers in July instagram facebook launched live shopping features in August Google their own. That's kind of on demand. It's not live the idea with these is to make a more modern shopping channel experience with influencers as the hosts, hundreds of millions of people tuned into shopping livestream. June in China it's just keeps going up and up. Kim Kardashian partnered with Chinese influence on one of these streams in China and sold fifteen thousand bottles of perfume like that. During an appearance the numbers are rising in the US now to forty thousand people watched Youtuber Nikita dragoons live shopping event on instagram five thousand items were added to shopping carts during the segment, all her branded products. So she was selling her own stuff direct to you. The people hosting live shopping streams already have dedicated fan bases that see them as friends. So the difference with QVC is with QBC. You got to know the hosts on QVC if you watched it a lot, you might kind of know the celebrity that shows up but these are folks were you feel like if you're in the influencers audience if you watch their youtube channel, you subscribe to them on Instagram you follow their tick talks you feel like you know them. So when they show up, it's not a stranger or a celebrity. It's a friend telling you like, Hey, this beauty product works great. Check it out. Also interactivities can you can you can take calls on QVC and they do that but this is live chat people who are savvy about talking to a chat room while they're doing the livestream, for instance, facebook and their Best Practices encourages folks to reply to everyone who DMZ comments according to Ashley's article on the verge. So this is one of those trends that keep an eye on. You're probably going to see this happening more and more, and it is a different spin on the old shopping channel idea. And also. It's a it's a it's a next step from what a lot of influencers are doing on their popular channels already. I actually sometimes there are people that I follow that I like and I trust I don't know that I would consider them friends but I like their content I would like to see something like this. In fact, I would like to experience this in a shopping stream type of way rather than be like Elizabeth Instagram Ad Oh? Yeah. They tagged at the end. Yeah. Okay. It's an ad. So I think that this is it. It makes a lot of sense sure there's going to be. People who are schilling things that they don't necessarily care about and that's just advertising general. But but yeah, that kind of fun. Let's hang out. Let's be interactive to me. This is not that different than watching somebody play a video game you're you're there and you're hanging out. Patrick on a scale of one to horrified how do you feel about this? Okay. So disclose your I actually was part of a set of a whole bunch of people who who did technology on Youtube or invited out to do a series of QVC type Um trials when Amazon was considering doing some while basically some programming like that it was really fascinating because one of the people there had been a term host with a certain high profile comedian on QVC and one talking to her about some of this is one of most fascinating conversations that I've ever had because they have a huge amount of control and it's all about kind of generating a certain amount of money permitted. Or second or however the metrics running. So on one hand, this makes perfect sense to me and it's it's if you're an influence, you're looking for revenue streams. This makes perfect sense. I'm kind of curious at what point they figure out how to generate more money permitted on this because at this point, it seems like it's super experimental and then Amazon will do Amazon does and they will figure out a way to turn it into this giant money generating beast of joy. But you know I think if you're an influence and you can get involved with this and you can pick up commissions why wouldn't you? Also I'm I'm curious why we're seeing Google's experimental arm put a on demand version out and according to this verge article at least one person didn't find that it that it worked very well why aren't they doing live shopping on Youtube? Why isn't that like a product that they've launched a little surprised? Maybe it's in the works in it'll come out to.

Willy Woo on Why It's 'an Extremely Great Time to Buy Bitcoin'
"This was quite weak for Bitcoin and crypto in general with pave announcing that it will allow it's three hundred and forty-six million customers to hold bitcoin ether and other cryptocurrencies as well as use them to pay pay. Pals Twenty six million merchants. Avenues the price of Bitcoin shot up briefly flirting with thirteen thousand dollars. What do you make of PAYPAL's news? yeah. Well. It's very much significant if you were to look it on chain, exactly how many people actually holding the coins in the Wallet? Well it currently is only twenty three point four million holds on shade and if you count the exchanges, these one, hundred and one million. Active unique accounts so if you look at cal, it's all mice five times it's four, hundred, eighty million. So you know this the absolute unlock to the mainstream Mac here to excess bitcoin. Way In excess of what we currently have in numbers. Before that news broke, you had been tweeting a bit about how bitcoins price behaviors have been changing. One of your tweets showed a chart of coin dormancy against the bitcoin price and you tweeted dormancy is a measure of old hands selling out as interesting to see old hands reliably sold tops. Until this present cycle, they sold the bitcoin bottom at three, three, thousand, four, thousand dollars they are selling right now. So when you say this this present cycle, what time period are you talking about and why do you think the Behavioral Behavior Fall Chances. Changing. This this is the current cycle of the coin cycles. Every four years because the happening that's kind of impulse of. Of supply reduction, and so we get into these four year macro cycles in this particular cycle is interesting in the we had the fist. Through of exchanges with the lights, of bit mix. Introduced in the telling twenty seventeen and with the crazy leverage is these guys can do on these exchanges they. They have dominated the volume on. Against you know the the organic sputnik people would normally come in and by the coins move muffins the wallets. So when you've got this out live, Oh, you on derivative markets where traders cabin and trade against each other. They play a whole lot of strategic games. You Know Defensive Lines I. It to playing a game of gridiron where you going yards and you're trying to push the other side over the they back trace in. So we're in this era of derivative dominance where it's trade a game. So you see if you look at the chat of Bitcoin, we had this very nice organic. Movements and price. It was very effective fundamentals of visas coming in, and since twenty seventeen, the telling twenty seen really coming into twenty eighteen and into now we've had a crazy whip sore in the price action. It's like you can see the six thousand sort of band that we head and twenty. Eighteen in it plummeted down to three thousand. That was all trade against. On. Exchanges and so what I think's happening is that the old hand Wales, the Oggi's that voted to Bitcoin, wipe win, and the obviously highly capitalize in the boys being out of cell tops the not currently equipped to play the very sophisticated trade games that helped him unto exchanges. So that not selling the top selling the bottoms right now. and. So I don't fully understand. You know when you talk about this kind of game. What is it? You know just from? hodler perspective, it should be. You know something straightforward. You buy low you sell when it's high. So what is going on? Exactly that's keeping them from being able to do that. You know this obviously is a hotly you'll going to organically by and hold for long term sort of held that if you these terrific of exchanges. All you're doing is making bids long shore the prices, go one way or the other, and if I'm correct I make a lot of money in. So what actually happens is there if you see, for example, the gene rural market, the general traders which of unsophisticated traders they may be going long. So if your though the winner. you'll the whale onto exchanges and the winners team to be one to the Mac out according to picnics ninety nine seat lose. you're the guy with. Tens of millions of dollars of what we call Ammo. To bad to push the MAC at one way. So for example, if you've one's going long. And I'm the one percent. Well, I'm going to choice it and I'm going to sell and I'm going to sell in the NFL I may even sell on spot exchanges to to push the price down and I'm trying to push the price down below the defensive line of people going long because if you going long you bidding on a going out, but you do have this. Line in the sand where if you're wrong, you're either liquidated will you have a stop loss where you can a sell out both both cases you're going to sell out? So what the whales do is they they counted trade you they pushed the price below your offensive line, and at that point you have to sell in and then suddenly the price plummets and then thou- group at the bottom and they win and so you know that happens with your long assured the the ninety nine percent lose, and this is a derivative. Casino game. With with they're very smart sophisticated players. That have now entered bitcoin is completely breaking headache
Marcus Garvey: Leader of a Revolutionary Global Movement
"Over one hundred years ago. The Black Nationalist Movement in America reached an unprecedented level of popularity because of the efforts of the charismatic leader of the Universal Negro Improvement Association. Marcus Garvey. Born in Jamaica Garvey grew up in poverty. He came to understand race relations through the lens of British colonialism throughout the Caribbean and Latin America. As his thinking matured. He began to formulate a revolutionary social. Movement. In, nineteen fourteen he founded the Universal Negro Improvement Association. Dedicated to uniting all the black people throughout the world. Two years later. He emigrated to the United. States. For his powerful message quickly gained traction. We walk you'd believe. This country we weren't ever get to work for walk up. By building. On the Great President of Africa for the public of pickering our industrial cocoa educational. At what it could go configure me arrives in an error where blacks are still being lynched regularly in the south around the same time that movies like birth of the nation are showing extra ordinarily racist depictions of African Americans as monsters. You have really charismatic dynamic individual and he's talking about look all places never going to be here in the states is never going to be in. Europe it's going to be in Africa we need to reclaim Africa. So Garvey is going to be preaching a philosophy of black pride. He's GonNa come up with a scheme to repatriate to Africa and he provides a huge sense of hope for millions of African Americans. A centerpiece of Garvey's program was the creation of the black star line a steamship. LAUNCHED TO TRANSPORT AFRICAN AMERICANS WHO WISHED TO EMIGRATE TO AFRICAN? The Black Star Line. Is this idea that Garvey can buy ships through the support of local African American people sending in money? So you can have a share in the Black Star Line. Any ships were GONNA take thousands of people back to Africa to the colony that Garvey was gonNA. Stab wish. But his advocacy for black Americans to move back to Africa drew the attention of the United States government and especially J Hoover's Federal Bureau of Investigation. Which Monitored Garvey's movement seeking grounds for his arrest and deportation. Garvey was growing too powerful Jagger Hoover is going hired their first. Negro. To Subvert Marcus Garvey and eventually they're going to say that he's been committing mail fraud with the Black Star Line Scheme. He's eventually tried arrested placed in jail nineteen, twenty five. He's deported in nineteen twenty seven and he's never allowed to return to the United States, he dies in London in Nineteen. Forty. Garvey's legacy as the father of the modern back to Africa movement cannot be underestimated. He created the largest popular political movement in the history of black America and would be an inspiration both to the anti colonial movement and black nationalist leaders throughout the remainder of the century.
Trump: Separated children were "so well taken care of"
"A fact check on tonight's debate. No shortage of work for our friend and in-house Counsel Ari, Melber host of the six PM Eastern. Our on this network also happens to be our chief legal correspondent. So it's kind of in his title but Ari I. I was thinking of you during the event not knowing quite where I'd start if I were you but go ahead. Thank you Brian Good to be with you. There was more star with as you say, because this was quite frankly a more audible debate there was more back and forth between the candidates whatever you thought of it, and a big thing we want to start with on policy and law which some of our anchors of have touched on already is that exchange about child separation and immigration. Basically, the president was trying imply that the previous administration, where, of course Joe Biden Vice President had the same or a similar policy and that's not true. We'll put some of the data up here regarding child separation under the trump administration you. Have this three thousand children separated from their parents as mentioned, five hundred and forty five children have parents who are still essentially at large as far as the US. Government's concerned as four. What the Obama Administration did they had family detention centers they had harsh exploitation policy which were controversial but a key distinction here what makes trump's claim false? They did not as policy target families for
Can You Build a Business Alone?
"Can you build a business alone totally by yourself? Well, the simple answer is yes but what kind of business you could literally open eliminate stand in your front yard and that's considered technically a business providing a product for a fee you make lemonade youth set up the table you sell it. The fee done deal but we obviously are not talking about lemonade stand. We're talking about a business that could actually stain your lifestyle and make it a comfortable one. You know if you're going to go into business and start something and really work hard on you WanNa make sure it's worth your while. So has the potential to make you financially free. Is this possible. Yes, it is. But there are caveats and we'll talk about they are in a moment. This can be done. I've seen it done and I've done it myself where I literally ran the whole business by myself. No external help not even a freelancer no external services nothing. Just software and my time it was a services business. I was creating business websites on wordpress for Mike cline since is over a decade ago and I did everything myself the marketing the sales, the service, the actual craft of building the website, the maintenance the the customer calls the invoicing, the financing everything, and I've seen a lot of entrepreneurs start out this way, and this is what's called being self employed. This is not being an entrepreneur, an entrepreneur somebody who leverages resources and time in order to produce results for their customers and to be free. Of the business meaning that they can step away from it for a month or two, not do a single lick of work and the business continues to go because they have teammates they have pleased they have people working on things. The system goes they build the system they make the hires the put in the assets they put in all the things they need to do so that it runs by itself that's what an entrepreneur really is. A self employed person is somebody who actually works for themselves. Very similar to what I was doing when I was doing my business consulting firm and I was building websites. This is very similar to somebody who's a doctor and running their own clinic, a chef that runs her own restaurant there the business owner and the talent, and the really the product. They're really the the thing they're selling the service, but it is technically a business but one of the things I've learned really early on about twenty years ago is a big difference was self. Employed person and an entrepreneur I learned this from Robert Kiss Sakis Rich Dad poor dad his book and he has this four quadrant system that talks about like you please you have self employed you have entrepreneurs and you have investors and really these are the four ways people make money in this world and the top two quadrants are the employed and self employed in the bottom two quadrants are entrepreneur and investor, and you really WanNa be on the bottom quadrants because those two quadrants. Leverage Time Leveraged Talent. They're not exchanging their time for money. So I worked in my business building I saw the people. But when I was not doing that I wasn't earning money, there's no way I could step away from it because my clients wouldn't get what they paid for. So let's just flat out say, yes, this is possible but you're going to have to do as a self employed person because that's how it works. You have to hire somebody else you have to empower somebody else to do that work for you. In order for you to be free of that attachment to the business or attachment to delivering that service or delivering that product. Now having said that that's still a business being self employed is still a business and might enjoy that you might like that kind of business people that love control and love their craft will love this type of business. Now, I am of the opinion even if you love your craft photographer, you can benefit with some key hires a manager somebody who deals your finances someone had to go she your rates. Somebody to build your website all that kind of stuff is worth having people hired either as a freelancer or as an employee or part time to help you just focus on your craft as a photographer and not deal with the other logistical things because that's your magic sauce, right? That's that's your. Special talent and you should focus on that as a service provider. But even if you didn't, you can still run that business. Now having said that again, there's limitations. There's only so far. You can take that business when I was building. For my clients, I was pretty inexpensive the beginning, but then I raised my prices raise prices. But even if I raised my prices to an astronomical amount, let's say for example, I was charging forty or fifty thousand dollars a website I would need at least six weeks to create that website and deliver it to the client and receive my fifty grand. So even if I was charging fifty grand a website, I can really only bring on about eight clients a year given you know. Holiday season things like that, and that's not bad. But at the end of the day, I cannot make more than four hundred, thousand dollars a year in revenue, which is a great number. You know that's not a bad number as a pretty healthy business in revenue but that's basically my ceiling. I, don't have any more hours in the day I. Don't have any more weeks in the year and if I don't WanNa leverage my time and I don't want to hire somebody that's my ceiling.
Need a Job? These Businesses are Hiring!
"How about some really good job news The October twenty twenty hiring report is out. And you don't see good news in the news very often. I've got some really good job news and some very specific areas for those of you who say Ken I'm not doing what I WANNA do I'm ready for a change? Here's where you need to be looking. The demand for jobs in transportation and warehousing and retail is picking up obviously you've had the big box and the big delivery companies like ex is in the Amazon's they've been hot for a while, but they're also hiring more jobs for the holidays. How about cooking these restaurants are firing back up people are starting restaurants. People are at least for the moment. Going to eat. In restaurants need people who can cook ten Bar Bus Restaurant managing all of those opportunities are out there and those will continue I believe to heat up. Hiring in healthcare. Now we know that the emergency and the frontline medical workers those jobs have been hot, but we're see non essential areas. Not Essential I hate that term by the way, but that's the way it's listed. What that simply means is non-medical. So supportive healthcare positions if you will and be with the non mercy elected medical and dental surgeries and other procedures beginning to resume. These medical centers and hospitals are hiring once again, doctors offices are hiring once again there's a lot of growth there manufacturing is heating up. This is a good thing. I. Want to see the United States rely more on our people making stuff for US K. Tech jobs also on the rise. Because of. What covert has done for remote working it's exploded. It made it more widespread. the technology positions? That support, all of the systems for remote working to actually be effective. Well, there's just you know it's almost like A. Whole new channel of workers just to support that platform. So those technology jobs and the Ken Coleman. Show is about ready to announce a huge partnership. Oh. My goodness AB-. So excited about this. You got to stay tuned to the program or announce a big time partnership where you. Can Get trained in a fraction of the time and at a fraction of the cost. and start making really good money in the technology field. With, an opportunity make six figures in a small amount of time that's come in I can tell you about it today but that's coming. And finally, the real estate market is hot not just for home buyers home sellers how about people working in real estate? Real estate job postings increased by forty percent month over month for positions ranging from real estate agents to property and community association managers, Loan Officers, and interview, or so the real estate market in America right now as hot hot hot. So this is a good time job situation has improved tremendously. Don't pay attention to all the negative news at the world is coming to an end despite which candidate wins because it's not. SAR paying attention to your world, your zip code and what's life really like.
Jason Capra, C-53 Restorer, Discusses His Latest Restoration
"We're talking about fifty three's horse because you've got one that that you've been heavily involved in in restoring. Can You? Let us sit back put our feet up and just tell us the story of this particular airplane and Maybe even backtrack a little bit sort of how you how you came across it what was the path that led you to it, and then the airplanes history itself yeah. That'd be more than happy to so just I've been lucky enough to be involved with another organization and warbirds Incisa teenager, and that was the Berlin airlift historical foundation They have this fifty four spirit of freedom. which unfortunately was just written off due to a tornado passed down in North Carolina. But I was I was lucky to be involved with that and be around Douglas Prop liners in big airplanes warbirds since I was a teen about fourteen or fifteen. So I I've been on the airshow circuit and I had been flying with Tim on that airplane and working on it. So I really got a really good hands on experience on working on these things. And I just so happen to be on my way home from Ground School for my airline that I fly for about five years ago. Now, her now I'm sorry, six years ago. And I was driving back to Pittsburgh and just got tired of being on the interstate. So I started taking all these backroads just trying to get lost. and seeing what I could find stumble across and ended up coming through this little town in Ohio called beach. City Ohio. And came around the bend and there's a grass airstrip sitting there and Kinda like flying community. There's houses with hangers attached to the. And then down at the end of the airport where the road parallels the runway there was. About twenty open air hangars that were in deplorable shape with their rotting away underneath of them. And right on the other side of that hanger was this DC three just. Basically, you know it's painted been oxidized and was turned powder, and there was mold growing on it and just windows were laminated didn't fogged over and the fabric honor flight controls were torn and it was just about the saddest thing I think I've ever seen in my life. And knowing that that airplane deserved better and I always joked about me and I'd love to find one of those barns. Fine words. You know it's kind of a dream for some of us out there that maybe one day you'd be Lucky enough to stumble across something like that. And and and here's this DC three that I know nothing about that clearly hasn't flown in ages. And I pulled off to the side of the road and walked over and walked around it and just everything about it just broke my heart and you could tell, and we always talk about these old airplanes having souls but this thing. This thing was crying out for helping and I cure it and I don't know why but right then and there I just kind of looked at the airplane and I said don't worry old girl. I'M GONNA I'm GonNa do something help you And When I left that day I was on a mission to track down the guy who. Owned it or whoever owned it, and I was going to try and see if there was something we could do to save. And that's pretty much how that started. Did you ever think that. You'd you'd actually own something like this I mean this is the spree a significant. Did you ever think you'd actually make it happen? no. I always thought I would own award and and have an organization of some such but My sites were being set on either a bt thirteen or maybe a cheese six. something a little bit more manageable and definitely a lot smaller. But it was just one of those things that I. You know has been working with Tim in the C fifty four for so long and I saw how essentially three or four dedicated people could make a four engined douglas work. And I thought well, if I could get two or three dedicated people, there's no reason we couldn't make a DC three work is half the size. And Tim always said that you know in his words he said anybody can operate a DC three if you have a little bit of knowledge and. He always said there's hope for you to on day. It was a joke. You know what? I he was right, and here we go. So we're going to give us shot so. That's awesome. So so what was the next step? How did you go about tracking down the owner? So I actually went on the FAA's website and just typed in the on number and. and. Sure. Enough. It came up with the gentleman's name is name was Ken Joseph. And So I saw that he lived in the Akron area somewhere. So then I just googled Ken Joseph Akron Ohio. And every Joseph that popped up I just blindly called and asked if they were the individual that on the DC three at the Beach City Airport. So it took me about three weeks to get hold of him and actually got a hold of his son I and he put me in touch with him. and. I just asked if I could come out and talk with them about the airplane and and take a look at it more in depth than I already did. And he agreed to that and he didn't know. Anything very much about the history of the airplane prior to it being the east to be the governor's airplane of the State of Ohio. And that was about the end of his knowledge is to what it was where it was. But obviously, I, I saw from the data plate inside when I went in that it was built an accepted on January nineteen forty two. Something like listening definitely has some combat history military history and nobody's seemingly knows what that is. I'm going to have to dive into that and find out. But So, after I talked with Ken for a while I told him I said, would you ever be interested in selling this? And he said, no, not at all I've had this airplane for since nineteen ninety three and he's like multiple people ask me all the time and I'm just not interested. and Said Okay and I said, well, let me tell you of the one of the other airplanes I fly and work on and. Were give me a chance I. I would do my best in in hyphen very confident that we would be able to give it a retirement that. This this other airplane I fly has and I think that's what she deserves and I think that's probably what you would like to see happen to it. I. Just need you to give me a chance. So we went back and forth for about a month or two and finally called me and said, all right. Here's the deal. I'll sell you the airplane for one hundred, thousand dollars. It comes with to spare engines. And you've got one year to come up with the the total balance of the airplane, you can put whatever you WANNA put down on it as collateral. But if you don't have the money by this time a year from now. I keep the airplane and your money. Wow that's a harder. The race was on to. The race was on to make it happen.
Junk Knowledge with Marques Marchand

Twenty, six, two, thousand, one. So I got close to nineteen years I'm almost there I was born nineteen seventy, nine January seconds. Just. Outside of Portland Oregon I live in San Francisco now in here a while and. I don't know if I was born any way I don't know born addict I. I, don't know if I was headed predispositions. It runs in the family on both sides of my family, right? Right? Yeah. But something something spoke to you when it comes to addiction. Yeah, it was born in nineteen seventy nine I. Was the first grandchild. I was my mom first child she had joss have a brother who's about seven years younger than me but I was. Accustomed to in the very beginning, I got accustomed to all the attention all the gifts. All everything you know the first few Christmases was all about me which was great and I didn't know ever change and when my brother came along when cousins came along, there was competition for attention and started to take all that away as like I started having to perform more had to be funnier it I just took it on his challenge I became like medium and everything and people loved it but every. Other kids. Be. Around. Yeah and I I didn't hate it but I was I was irked you know like Roy Sharing and. Is just like an often you know when when we when we work on ourselves, we get sober. We realized some of the root of our addictive processes are in our past in our childhood and stuff like that. So that makes a Lotta Sense. Yeah I it's I think it's one hundred percent like everybody's going to have to deal with the past. Yeah. So well, we are passed right? Yeah I my mom got remarried when I was five years old. So there was a step dad in the picture and They had my second my brother together, and so there was a lot of conflict between me and my step dad and and just all that a lot of people a lot of steps it's have that story and. Leading home really early. I left home at fifteen and my grandmother. Cross I adopted me but I was I was a latchkey kid and I was on my own now and I. So I went from living in the country out on a farm and my Stepdad was intact and used math genius and I was just a kid and we didn't get along. We were totally different. I'm kind of an artist and we right right it's like it was it was rough. We did not get along my mom's in the middle of it was tumultuous kind of on your own. Yeah. At first I was like this is great and but then There's no money I was on my own financially I just remember having to buy my own hands and everything for Ninth Grade Tenth Grade House like I was on my own weird. All my friends, all my regular normal friends were with their parents house and things were normal for them and I was just like loss for years. When I was fifteen sixteen I transitioned into drinking and drugs. And I had a good time if it a lot of things for me I forgot about all the pain of not being around family, right? Yeah. About being or I mean like alcohol and drugs were great for forgetting that you're broke. Forget any pain that you have. It's all gone. So and I got into the psychedelics I got an ecstasy I I never gotten to like math or anything but I stare meant that a little bit. So it's just started to progress from there. Yeah. quickly quickly, really fast because the age of fifteen to twenty two I used every day something then I couldn't twenty two. So most of my story. Is really about my using I don't have a thirty five year career using things right? Right yeah. It was short. It was fast I had a lot of fun. So what made you? What made you decide to say? Okay Hey, this isn't working for me like I gotTa Stop I. GotTa do something. Okay. So where it starts where I wanted to stop it was It was. Christmas Eve two, thousand of the year two thousand and I was I was working in restaurants and bars, and it was a great time Portland living in Portland Migrate Northwest Portland Neighborhood Powell's bookstore and all that way hipster kid and. I was working at a really cool restaurant and all my friends read a Bar Tiger. Bar. And they all call and I had the flu one hundred and three degree temperature. I. Was sweating I was sick and they call me like we're at the tiger bar they're playing your favorite drum and bass music gotta come down I'm coughing and sneezing gross and Ale, and is all early in gross looking. So I took a shower and I went down there unlike let's do it. I'm I'm in this big booth with all my friends it's like ten of us and I'm in the booth. I. Remember going to the bathroom and just wash my hands in my face in the mirror I. Look I look at old man. I'm twenty one at the time how and then I go back to the booth and I was just I remember a photo. A picture of all of us like having a good time supposedly, and I just I had to walk back I live four blocks, Murray where and then I got better went back to work a friend of mine showed me the photo and everybody looked normal. They're having a good time skeleton votto and. Rob And I'm twenty one years old was FG, right? But you knew there's something in you said, this is this is like this isn't right and but I would continue. Until the until Thanksgiving of the next year. So for another year just kept trying right

They thought they were going to gain their way and then he just couldn't help himself this week with both. The guest Josh view started off and then the Jordan viewed. And I both Tom's bananas like seemed really reticent to get involved I think he knows I think he's. He's just going to wait for the right moment. He's going to pull the rug out from underneath West when the test came one or two episodes ago boys in Johnny may be going to was. He voted in west. Save Tim in a very public way. And now it was time for the table to term and Johnny to support West. And he's like I mean I'm happy being with him but I don't care that much this significant strategy behind this because West couldn't turn on bananas with like a going someone like Jay because he'll come back to the house and now backfire on West. But like in that. Same Vein. Johnny can't take West decided against Jordan. He he's fine leading Jordan go against West because if they met in an elimination just no chance. That west is coming back like. That's the person we got a letter. Lines die on this but I feel like the what was at stake. Initially especially with the bananas stuck where West saved them last week or week. Four whatever was was like all game related stuff and Kravitz. Your point in a doc like the stuff that was said to Jordan was not not great was actually made which is like usually like highly charmed by west because he gets rats about how smart he is and his monster trucks and is twenty five companies incubator. And pretend better than these people. But he's actually kind of mean and I had the exact quote and it was not talk to me when you talk to your wife referring to Tori and that's like was like an actual mean thing about Jordan who is just you know playfully shoving at Salama Faith Foot Salami. By the way did you see him using paper towels? Wipe up whatever like meat. Juices came out onto the table is just light picnic juice all over all over a table we think you got that sausage laying around the house and he decided to use the prop. It's weird and it was like at the ready. It's not like he got up and he seemed to just have three while he was sitting at the table for some reason like nimbly cheese and crackers then allowed me to Jordan cutting off the Salafi everybody slice my slide Jessica. I guess that's that's theory. I loved it. It started this and this is again. I love Jordan so much every week I love Jordan more and more and this week the fact that he he was defending the integrity of the turf and the workout space. Just amazing like this guy is to be a competitor and working out and his fiancee Tori. And that's about it Jordan's life I will love it back. Your wadesbro Iraq. Those I don't understand why you don't like Jordan. Billy I just I. I can't I can't wrap my head around it it'll you'll get to it. It'll it'll happen at some point. I'm telling you go on an emotional roller coaster with all these people every single season where the people that you hate at the beginning rooting for at the end because they're like the underdogs who's at once ganged up on them and the people that you liked the beginning you. Hey because you're like it's person just kind of a jerk and it doesn't even carry over usually season to season 'cause like you'll feel totally different about people from one season to the next like bananas is somewhat likable this season. Because he's laying low right and he doesn't have any of the numbers but I'm previous seasons. He's like the bully. That's going around but all young people are doing it now so he has really no choice. But to align with wes because everyone else is pretty much against him in the house because they're all new people that he's gone through years of like harassing accept everyone else was like Janis. Level has moved onto other things. That's exactly right. He lost his entire cavalcade of like backers and so he's turned to West because all of the young people who terrorized for years We're just became a game of..

"Winning artists mom used to hang my art work on the inside of the refrigerator. I am go off line. And both these cancers known before once after when when they were like seven and five. I was feeling insecure about myself do so often and I said tell me something that Dad's good at so the kids get together and they say well. Okay you're good at basketball. You're good at writing and then there's this tremendous pause and they say you're GonNa feed the dog do that. Oh Gosh that is such a good line. She's the hang your art in inside of the refrigerator. Jeff on thinking back when I was. I believe thirteen or fourteen. We took a California trip at my dad and I went away for my brother and my mom and we played pebble beach. Mo Is GonNa remember that what's like just like a cool like when I say to you heartfelt cool moment you experience with your dad like what's the first thing that pops into your head. I think that if we weren't on ZOOM ON DELAY. I think we would say the same answer at the same time. It was cooperstown weekend. Tony Gwynn cal. Ripken's induction year. I mean we rarely took a just a form of Mom Dad Jeff and Kelly and so we would always take trips together which is obviously fine but then the girls we used to go to cooperstown all four of us than the girls were like okay. It's Kinda the same thing every year and I said. Oh it's not it's it's new law vapors it. So that was the first year that adjust data Jeff got to go and it was unbelievable. I think the coolest moment was being a part of the induction After party I guess is what it's called in getting to talk to these players in an even though I was twelve years old speaking to them as an adult than being legitimately interested in what I was doing what I'm interested in at that age. Nobody ever talks to like your twelve years old so I was being treated as kind of dance. Plus one as opposed to dance kate over there. I mean I had one moment with Cal ripken which dad recalls a lot better than I would. Yeah while CAL ripken in. His induction speech believed to induction. Speech was in talent about a time where he talked to light two hundred kids and he was explaining his career on played in eighteen. All Star Games on went through all Korea to the end of his little speech. They can't said. Am I supposed to know who you are? So ripken makes his speech at Cooper sound and it's fabulous as always as was Tony Win and he'd met Jeff a couple times but when it's all over I'm going to go interview these guys and he sees Jeff again adjusts. Looks at CAL ripken and says am I supposed to know you up a personal like this kid is eleven years old actually listened to my speech but the cooperstown thing was really the start of it? All for me for this is my tank. Way from our troops to cooperstown. I was doing radio row and doing like six shows like an hour so my son is waiting for me in a small. New York station does up to him and says would you like to do an interview about what it's like to be a ten year old at Cooperstown so he does eight minutes eight minutes at age ten when he's done the producer. Look spion goes oh my God. I can't believe how good he is in. Jeffrey looks at being goes. That's what I WANNA do out here. Is You know eighteen years later or sixteen years later. And that's exactly what he's do a quick addendum that I have to add to Christopher story about Pebble beach the time we went there. I when you're when you're going Pebble beach as you're walking up the eighteen th green toward the eighteenth fairway toward the green a member of the Pebble Beach Staff Presents. You with a beautiful bag medallion. You know it's heavy it's round. It's like an Olympic medal says Bebel beach on it is like Pretty Nice in a Christopher turns me and says wow dad look what they give you free. It caused me nine hundred dollars to play just for Free..

"It can work out accuracy. No matter what data we give it okay so if we were to play this out over a season I'll get some results from you for the play offs and how the Western and the eastern conference twitter shaped up. But can you. Have you done like the awards for the season? Have you finished up and done? The awards to just playoff result models is. What you're doing we were able to come up with a lot of I think quite accurate predictions for a how the the National Basketball Association season would have turned out and yes including some of the awards that you mentioned all right. So let's do this Dr. Garvey yields with us on. Espn radio who do you have is the MVP of the League? According to the Frontier Computer the fifth largest supercomputer in the world the computer gave us the answer of MVP as James Harden on model showed he scored sixty points in three straight games during contests. Seventy three seventy four seventy five. Which I am told is is at record of some sort the rookie of the year. According to Dr Garvey Jewels and the Frontera supercomputer young fellow named John. Morand am I saying the name Gus? You're saying that correct so far. This is roughly. This is pretty close to accurate. I think How about coach of the year? Do you have a coach of the air? Yes the gentlemen for the the Orlando Magic. Steve Clifford I believe is name is no logic. Just A computer spitting out Steve. Clifford Orlando Magic again. I can offer no insight as a a sports fan. I'm simply telling you what the computer told us. In certain cases that we do have data on what this on the computer based on but not in this we just had Steve Clifford quite definitively. All Right Dr. Garvey yields is a professor of Algorithm ick modeling at the University of Texas where the frontier computers located and the frontier computers the fifth largest supercomputer in the world. Where do you WANNA START IN TERMS OF playoff results? According to the computer and Dr Garvey. Well the first result we had is the nuggets from Denver defeating the Portland Trailblazers Four to one We have Damian Lillard. Am I correct? Yes. That's how you pronounce it. We he insults the president of the United States in a post game interview in all likelihood after game one after their game one victory and he gets suspended for at least two games and that is what caused them. Okay I'm sorry. I didn't mean to laugh there but that the computer is predicting bad behavior from Damian Lillard. That gets him suspended and is the reason that the Denver Nuggets advance in the first round computer takes in a tremendous amount of information both statistical personal and it will occasionally give us a result like that. It can be quite predictive of behavior as well as Numero. This will be more fun than if there's going to be a lot of behavior attached to these one other results you have in front of you and data in a series between the grizzlies and the Lakers. Okay so the grizzlies you have grizzlies and Portland making the playoffs. I don't know how that happened. Exactly but okay the Grizzlies and the Lakers. What happened in that? We have the grizzlies defeating the Lakers. Which I believe would be classified as an upset yes? It would be fairly shocking. A low probability definitive event what we call it registers in game two when a plan named Anthony Davis suffers a quite a serious eye injury and another player named Joe. I'M GONNA have trouble pronouncing this Jonas. Vallon Balan Shrewdness Vallon. What you just said. He Hits Mr Davis with an elbow and Davis is I actually detaches during game play and the resulting trauma and loss of that skilled player cost the Lakers the series. Oh Wow okay shocking. Result there from Dr Garvey Heels in the frontier a supercomputer. So who do you have winning the West? Then if the Lakers are getting knocked out. Who Do you have Winning OUT WEST. We have the rockets Winning the West while James Harden went crazy at the end of the season. Anyone one so he wants the West. What happened at East the The Celtics from Boston and the Milwaukee Bucks play a seven game series and each of those games decided by a maximum of five points. A player named George Hill experiences. An aberration anomaly. When he scores. Fifty one point guard siding game. Seven eight a minute. Wait a minute did you have George Hill scoring fifty one points to decide a game seven between the bucks and the and the Celtics. He's not likely to score fifty one points in a game. He's not a east sort of a these. These just sort of an answer Larry Player. It'd be the most surprising output of points in the history of the playoffs. Well we do have it as an aberration nominally but you see I have no I. Don't hey I even if I knew a lot about basketball which I don't I I defer to the computer. There is absolutely no bias. So you have you have Milwaukee coming out of the east. Who Do you have coming out of the WEST TO FACE MILWAUKEE? I'm assuming that was game. Seven of the Eastern Conference finals. I WANNA mention that George Hill After that fifty one point game seven in a subsequent president of you in the locker room is caught in a statistical bloom. Or what we call an exponential Black Swan event when his towel falls off his body and he is apparently visibly aroused and many in social media will comment that is unmentionable. Body part is not sufficient size And no game. Penalties incurred there but in the championship series. He is not the same statistical player so I think it may. It may affect him. I don't understand how the computer would register such an event. I don't understand how the computer would know what George Hills endowment was or what kind of shame he had about that. All this information is available to the computer There must be it colds. Everything social media comments articles Some personal interactions computer is As close to all knowing as you could possibly get. I would stand behind this. Uh This result Dr Garvey. Y'All's with us on. Espn radio what you have said if it happened in an NBA. Game All it. It just basically everything you've said so far would be somewhere between surprising and shocking as it relates to the results not necessarily the awards. So what did you have happening in the final? If I understand what you're referring to the championship series in the NBA. In the east and the West will be the Milwaukee Bucks and the Houston Rockets. Okay yes according to the suit. That's not ridiculous. The Milwaukee box and the Houston Rockets. It'd be surprising if the rockets got there but go ahead explain to us what happens there. Well the bucks are forced to play their home games at Marquette University because of water damage to their arena and again the modeling can be specific. I assure you and the rockets defense proves to be Very formidable and A player on the bucks name. I'm going to need help here Genus entered into a into enter. Took them into anti. Tha Combo is held to seventeen points. A game by Daniel House and In celebration of this James Harden shaves his beard and. I don't know what this exactly means for the Planning Russell Westbrook whereas an outfit to the celebratory parade that will consist of a pony and a SPA opponent a sparkler we have Russell Westbrook wearing to the parade. You've got a nude Russell West. But he's nude he's on a pony and he's holding a sparkler he doesn't say specifically but he's new horrid you have holding entity component. Seventeen points a game named Daniel House not a player like a secret weapon or something. I don't know who that Daniel Houses well I. I Miss Elaborate on. I don't know who most of these players are. I'm just telling you what the computers okay. So Daniel how shutdown onto Toco and what Houston one wins the finals. Yes yes and All all the speeches at the celebration on the Livid in Mandarin and English. Okay okay. That's excellent so a little bit of politics there because what because the Houston Rockets are in bed with China? Is that the reason that the speeches were delivered in Mandarin. What how the hell did the computer know that I would ask you? This qu I found. Listen much of this. I raised my eyebrows at but much professional sports. I respond that way to. That's not common practice. That no lingual no but neither is Daniel. How shutting down onto the component. That makes zero sense honestly. What else do you have for us? In terms of results that enter do have something else that when we came up with that do we had many many many other results but all of them fell below about sixty eight percent likelihood. So we don't even. That's about the cutoff point. Anything below that we don't we don't have enough faith. Well just so you know again Dr. Garvey Guled with us on. Espn radio the Frontier Computer Fifth largest supercomputer in the world. Just so you know the audience is going to think your computer and this is quicker because these results are two out of the norm. They're not that they're not in any way. What would have happened? According to human beings who have thought. Listen I'm used to this kind of thing but I all I can do is assure you that the this is extremely accurate. And I I. I've Lost Count of how many times I've heard that kind of thing from government leaders from scientists from sociologists. Who Doubt What we've come up with. We are very rarely wrong. It's almost occurs to know this kind of stuff and to be. I'm used to being looked at it that way. As as a quack as you put it but You know it's like playing Mozart for a bunch of feral cats sometimes abandoned cannery. I mean this. This is This is highly accurate and human beings. A highly rational. Okay Dr Garvey then with us we thank you for the time I do feel like and I don't mean to insult you or your computer. I do feel like we've wasted America's time with this segment but I appreciate it. I appreciate that you gave us that time to waste doctor. You'll well. I was asked to come on. I I I'm sorry I feel that way. I'm sorry I'm sorry. I just know our audience is GonNa. I'm sorry I hurt your feelings. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. That was probably rude and I feel he's only. I understand. This can be very shocking. These these results. I don't have a context for for the sports. How how You know Shockingly might seem to a sports expert. We We did our best with this. And and these results were pretty even by our standards Pretty definitive okay. Then thank you Dr Yields. We do appreciate the time and we appreciate you allowing us to use your computer for such stupidity. Thank you for being with US sir. Well thank you Dan. Nice thank you and I hope you a healthy and well in this difficult in trying times and find ourselves and I probably should have asked you how you were doing at some point during this interview but I got right to the Daniel House information. Thank you.

"They get on hotel. Mary real this is. This is becoming very convoluted question for me is fuel loaded cabinets is all hypothetical saying if you know theoretically you want to say at the end of the day if you guys were at the hotel the airport there is no way allison would have been able to get her luggage back. So you're welcome you're on. That was honestly that shower that also at the airport when they got car luggage. It's hard even describe like her middle. I've seen allison of a lot of different emotional states but like this is a special on truly specialized touch. He was going to get arrested. I bet she's going to get arrested by the police at the airport because he was causing such a scene so scared and you're like what is happening last year we went and covered the super bowl. Not The one of Miami the one in Atlanta and Charlie cume was there. I was there Alzheimer's There Elizabeth. Zehr Elizabeth does the one or one of the people with booking hotel rooms for people. So alson has like this little grudge with Elizabeth. Because she wasn't thrilled that we got the hotel by the airport which was perfectly fine by the way but by the cat was okay. The first night we got there we were going to like the media welcomed night or whatever and the only thing that was anywhere near our hotel was an Arby's we walked over to Arby's allison then again said I'm not eating here. Stormed out when eight and uncrossable in her hotel and then eventually met us back there to get a taxi. Go to the me. Go on the record. At this point I would have chosen. Eat at Arby's like regardless so it was not it was time. Is that unquestionable amazing amazing? Thank you also. Most redeeming. Quality of Arby's is horsey sauce so long parts of this to the Jamaica shake is one of the vastly underrated fast which we had in me. We had a gym ohka shake. We had a massive rosie sandwiches with the horse. He says you can't beat the curly fries. Obviously or the best meals you can have it a pass through perspective I've only been to. Rb's twice so the only thing. I knew the horsey sauce but it was a very redeeming quality impressed very underrated. I just want him back. Talk a little bit. I didn't say about eating here and I didn't store out. That's not what happened. I one hundred percents stormed out. Make it sound like this. I just said you know I'm not really like mood. You stormed out there monster around Charlie. Outta here have left us there and I think we were trying to text you. We couldn't figure out like I generally didn't we should've left the Arby's because I felt bad like we've done something wrong to you but then I'm like wash I feel guilty about one. Beat Arby's and yeah and then now happened. Just wasn't I was worried for my friend to be honest with you because this is not normal behavior abruptly storming out. This isn't making any sense and we didn't hear from you a little bit. I was like she make it back to the hotel. Okay is everything all right. Is there something else like? This is a live revision of revisionist history. Which we're here talking about the challenges. Let's go. Isn't it the to show we saw at the Aquarium? That the Party. So good show. I remember wondering if I should take pictures or not. Because they didn't know where we stood on sea lion shows as a society. I love animals. Same as their including you're all doing hasn't appeared has not appears as we last saw. I think that it's either a combination of the season getting warmer. Or maybe because there are less people out and about in the it's found a place that's like less traffic can live all the time like. I don't really know what's happened. But the record has not been back nor have any other rodents. It's been you know pretty good pretty smooth sailing. Thus far that yeah. It's gotta be getting a crawlspace and extract it. This a heck of a challenge. Bata which you've actually done that would have actually crawled into the crawlspace. Go after raccoon. Your it's funny. You say that because I was talking about this with Amanda. We're talking about like I think it was like a tornado. Warning in Virginia are maybe not Virginia. But we just we heard there's a tornado warning somewhere and we were like if a tornado came through. Here would you get in that crawlspace knowing that there's like animal feces and probably dead animals down there and maybe a family raccoons and I was like no I would rather deal with. The tornado like giving the bath. I duNno whatever. I'd rather deal with that then go in. The crawlspace with records was unknown. Safe-space from tornadoes. I think right. I think yeah. You CAN'T PICK UP. Tubbs just put all your tub. What's going door frame earthquake? Actually do that for eclipse listening to this. In a tornado stricken areas. Get your valuables in the Tub. Now young you the second those texts over the guest tops. Johnny Bananas is going to love this. Just you know. Get away from all the challenge sock for a second and just kind of hang out with normal although we would been barred him with shouted. Questions fuse on his podcast. What else would we talk to him about his cooking show? I don't think travel show. We work on our Johnny Bananas Pitch Now. Yeah let's why not. What did you guys want to call this thing? Because I think I think the reason I don't think I'm S- closing any secrets. He's GonNa be on a celebrity cooking show so that's what he's GonNa be. Promoting and Elizabeth apparently sad cooking blog for ten years not super active these days. But yes accurate. You want to tell people what you're cooking. Blog is so they can visited. You WanNa keep it like secret pop that no it's terrible. I really just use it so that like I don't like a recipe and like something I've created. I don't need to Google it or find it or like look it up somewhere. I have a digital cookbook. Snp Box. I used to Prosperi regularly. I don't have time for that now. But now that I'm in quarantine. I think I posted for recipe. So far are the original recipes. Usually I'll get some inspiration in like look at a few recipes based on what I have what I like. I'll make something from that. I learned how to pickled onions this week. And then I put him on Avocado Toast this morning and on a Turkey sandwiches afternoon there. The gift that keeps on giving how do you? How do you do it though? I took a read on the end and I took some apples vinegar. Some water some sugar. Kosher salt brought it up to a quick similar like three minutes opted into a mason jars stored. Didn't a fridge look. We are officially a challenge cooking show. That was our first recipe. Congratulations audience you all know how to pick on enough in ACA so we kept the challenge or where we get to that. Eventually we should get. Let's get let's get some see in here. This is sewed. Yeah very now city. I think think that's the the elephant in the room and where we have to start is that we had a wild ride with C. T. rip gone too soon and we saw the highs and lows this week. Back a spoiler alert. Sorry if you haven't watched the challenge. Is this thing supposed to be a spoiler? You're supposed to that alone after you watch. Yeah Okay but yeah I mean we see. The four city experienced the brain with the puzzles the brand with looking cool like a big guy walking away from an explosion and then we got lows where he got eliminated by. Puny Scrawny J. in a knot tying elimination. So did you guys give thought to like conserving. Your energy wall. Creating the obstacle in front of the the little house or whatever it was like I feel like I was thinking at one point like maybe the best strategy is to not do too much on the front end so that when you have to go and get all that stuff out of the way on the back end you're not like tired out. Like ct was when he mentioned that because Jay looking like he looked exhausted by the end but then I realized part of that exhaustion was because it was raining which I think has rained every week. Women Tori hold on a second Iranian. Is it raining or is that like a thing that they have. I think they're like piping in rain because TJ Levin is a never ending you never gets wet and nor does it ever rain on the people standing up top. I just do the rain for effect on. The competitors is shot. I feel gullible now. I like on your something above him. Click here under lights or something. Roll over to all that to say that that thought crossed my mind but it looked like Jay really tough growing himself out. You know. It's okay so from my perspective. I had the lower the lower energy build where he distract us. Nuts yeah half but this brings me to my next point which I think CDs big mistake was I mean I understand why he went into the Red Skull. Understand why he went into thinking that you know. He's a specialist. He's like they most people would want to see him in elimination. You might not get voted in again but ct from the last five years has been using these challenges to get in shape like last year in World War of the worlds to we just saw him jogging on the treadmill and squatting and their weight room he needed to wait six weeks into the season until he was actually in challenged shape to purgatory coming in on week to he was the only thing we had seen of Ct. This season was him eating a Bala Tortilla chips last week and now he was very physically taxing limitation. And I know we talked about this a little bit off air but on Air. His walk out of there was concerning. This could be the last three as a forty year. Old bed limping out of there with no back. That's any chance I have such a limited perspective on the season but I was like ready. I'm already ready to be like the hot take our. Cto done a guy like the guy who's washed man. Now's the now's the time that I do have to say that last week. I publicly proclaimed that the only two people. I was rooting for them. That season were Jay. Nc T. so by week three. This is really knock on offer me. I wanted to see that match up in the finals and lasts area. Do you think they should just keep throwing every week? And just keep the red skull.

"Is it. We're GonNa let go that. Timing is impeccable. That so you were literally going to hear the upgrade and sound quality on Charlie's end of the podcast today so we have a lot going on today. Charlie Kravitz is opening a microphone. Now that we could probably just restart this had sound great. But we'll just keep going no plug in the microphone and you'll hear what his microphone has been plugged in. Also we were supposed to have a special guest this week who a challenge challenger and this person agreed to do the show but then when we reached out today wasn't good timing so hopefully next week. We're going to have this guest and if the guest didn't respond we were going to just tell you who the guest was Elizabeth. The only person who this is but we were gonna just kind of tell you who this person was so you could try to kind of pressure this person into coming on. But she doesn't know who it is and we want it to be surprised because I think she's GonNa love who this person is and also. I don't want to explain exactly how this happened. But we may have the chance in the near future to book Johnny Bananas. For something that he's promoting but the person that were trying to get him through asks for a description of this podcast to sell it but one we don't really have a name for the podcast. I don't think we that's a debatable. Thing to we wanna come together with what the description is to sell this podcast Tonight Bananas. So all of that exciting stuff. Do you mind if I just take. Take the race for second underwear we have. This is this is back to get started so good to see you alison lying. You're lowering we spent the whole time that you are auks saying we would. She would join us again. I'm here I feel like I'm not here now. Juicy momentum as a PODCAST ALISON THAN YOU RETURN. Never once again. I'll ask you a question. I know it's going to be mean but sure. Are you doing this on a computer? Can you see us? I can see you guys. Yeah Okay 'cause we can't you? I'm just wondering if you're watching us or if you're doing it on your phone or something. I have it on my computer. I mean hey I should put headphones in. I don't even know how to use headphones with my computer to be honest. Don't worry using them either. Because I'm low tech WABI AIR PODS with computer. Can I don't know how to do that? I it's it's pretty simple. You just go to the Blue Top and Bluetooth. I mean at first. I thought you literally you didn't know how to connect like a headphone sport. That would have been. That was spotted. Man I shouldn't have been as mean about the Bluetooth as I was. I'm sorry for that. That's fine no. I have tried to connect via polluted. This is boring conversation. Let's get back to what you guys were doing. Curtis thought it would be good because last week when we did this. Charlie hume had never watched the challenge. But now he's a resident challenge expert. He'll watch episodes and he knows everything. Sorry I've got takes for days. I can't wait to be sakes. We thought it'd be helpful to have someone fill that role of someone who's not incredibly familiar with the show. I'm not familiar. Yeah so you can ask questions. You Roll ridiculous. I think the difference is GonNa be that. I wasn't familiar but I really was interested in cared. I Dunno alison seem like you care. I Care I care deeply. My alarm is set to watch the challenge at night alison remember. Ct from real world terrace. I never saw. I only saw one real world events the one with the New Orleans Longtime Chicago. Maybe early once. I one O- Seattle Money Google. You're you west really nice talking to start naming cities guys. Wow Oh San Francisco in one thousand nine hundred ninety four winding. Its Way really quick. Both Charlie's how old are you in Nineteen ninety-four. Oh I got four. I was four. I Take Alison. No no what what you say. I think I missed it again. I mean this isn't going off. Of course it is. It's going to be out tomorrow. Well let's get out of here. He's got a real sour attitude today in what's going on. I'm having a lot of difficulties. You know what his name is. Dr Vouch -I A donut. Place in West Hartford. That has Dr doormats. Why would that be? Let's have the dental that they've done that and they printed his face on a top and they've decorated it and red white and blue. Wow why not? It's donut. Crazy in West Hartford Summer Peaches one tribute to Dr anyone else. That's well how do you prefer face on a donut? Curious about yeah like pretty cakes pictures on icing and stuff. Oh okay all right. I didn't know it was like when you go coffee shop and they pour a little design. Your lots air that or okay. Okay all right okay. I see. It's not like a Bagel at the whole the whole the middle or don't let the hole in the middle and maybe like a Feldstein prolonged Kelley bone. It's you guys like guys like Jelly donuts. Now No Jelly Donald Alien like he's GonNa Stealing Easter both just east of the more like Brady one's cake and cake dense cake straight year. I like both honestly. Do you like okay. What's going to you know at? This is very uncomfortable. Unaware turned donuts. Uncomfortable is donuts like a awkward. Why you understand it like like no one in this conversation can see you at like if it weren't for you like laughing and saying this is so awkward. No one would even know you were here but you see my name. Don't you see my name at the top like you was just staring at your name? It's kind of like an afterthought I'm assuming you as looking at each other. Wow this isn't aggressive. That's what I'm saying. I don't even know why I'm here because I want you to be here but you're the only one I started either. Don't start your it's like a Trojan just cat situation where like in one situation. We started in like another reality. We've not started. I don't know attached to me. We talked about. What is I sign? Because I like the billy asking Alison. She was all right. That's where I think we should start. Call the open and I'm alright. Are you good good scattered? I'm a little stress. I have slightly stretched out. We'll talk about a little bit. Alison what's what kind of stuff do you might stress. Do you know exactly do daily basis stressing you out. Charlie crowded. I'll ask you this. Let's say you when you're in China and you haven't eaten and you're so excited to go to dinner and the option is Arby's do you go or did you wait and hope that there's something better in with choices like no. Let me rephrase that question if the choice is a hot rb sandwich or an eight hour old uncrossable. Our hotel room with no windows by the airport which choose. I'm glad we're touching on the hotel can we can we get to the bottom of this is Elizabeth? Now.

"Not going to like Salon Charlie. You Love Not GonNa let conserve a motion. Big Fan of love. How many ten nine of them like a one offers admit to be like a recurring. Canco season the lowest Manuel. I'm doing a dual channel in the first episode is slow and Charlie just so you know there's a couple of phases on this show so they have ten days to get engaged. If they get engaged they move on user. Wait Billy Dale. Can't see each other at the Novi and aren't isolated pod oxygen wall and even with that. They only have ten days to get get yet so they don't see each other. They just have like dates. And they have no books to take notes or whatever and they. It's like speed dating where they'd talked to a bunch of different people right so like within ten days you have to get engaged and if you do that then you move on to face to which is like a very quick honeymoon where they send all of these engaged couples to resort and they don't know it. I but they're all at the same resort so that you like couples that have gotten engaged with partners that are interested in other people's partners because they thought they were going to get engaged to said people right and then after that if they survive that then they go and they live in like these like apartment complex and they live there I guess they were all from Atlanta Atlanta. Yes so like. They're all living in this apartment complex together and they're just planning their wedding. That's like two weeks later. Something like that. It's it's ridiculous everything like meet families. It's thirty yeah recommended it to like on the exact same roller coaster like especially of that first episode. Where like this is the stupidest thing? All these people are terrible away. I hate them. Why are they saying? I love you when they've never met in a limited talking for today's and then by the end of the first episode people. I wrote Jim. It's the worst. And we are Margaret in love with Jessica. A she was thirty four and he has twenty four. They mentioned that seventeen times an episode. So Mark was in love with Jessica. Jessica told Mark Martin lizotte spoiler alert. Barbara's in love with Jessica Jessica broke up with mark and then went on her next date with our net. Who was like the guy that she thought that? Burnet was going to prevent her time. Time for one second. Because there's an interesting psychological thing that Barnett Barnett. Generic handsome guy in real life ends up having three women who want him to propose to even to them even though they've never seen him psychology of his confidence that went through. And the weirdest thing about Jessica is that she talks like a normal thirty four year old woman when she's in confessional talking with any of the women and then the second. She goes into one of the dating. Rooms has a like a baby boy that she dog. It's like a switch in its. She does not sound like the same person in it is sociopathic contact for Jessica to she the second she gets engaged. Five foot four samples obsessed there. She just gets absolutely hammered the entire season and then gets hammered and just insults and then we find out which is a golden retriever named wine which is just an additional fact who drinks wide. John wine mine name the done wine. She also likes some regional manager something inside about six figures. It has like this really Nice House but she like okay so Charlie. She wants to get engaged to this Guy Barnett. Who says that? He's going to propose through the next day. Which why didn't you just proposed head but it doesn't matter bar. I was just playing the field right. So she thinks he's GonNa get proposed by board met so then she goes and she breaks up with this Mark Guy and look. I'm moving on. Someone else would ever write that. She has her death for net. Bornet breaks up with her and she's like devastated and she goes back to mark and then they ended up getting engaged and then they go to like meet each other and she likes tall guys in mark is again like Charlie pointed out like five forces like this little short guy. He's a Nice Guy. He's like obsessed with doesn't get over the fact that she broke up with him and dumped ten still proposes to her. They're engaged and the entire time that they're on the honeymoon and then even when they move into the apartments she still trying to go after Barnett. Who's engaged to somebody else and she'll keep meeting with him like one on one if things don't work out with you and I don't even remember if things work out with you at amber mill. Right like I just want you to be happy and just really want you to be happy and just try like how things with amber. Every time she sees him as a group data like Howard things of amber and this poor mark is just like putting up with it on the other side of the Rue. They get to a point where like she gets into the data. This is the best. I'm so glad you're here. Get Super Super Drunk. One night and laying in the bed and at markets like comforting her and like making sure that she's okay whatever he said something like she said how she goes she's talking about amber amber is the best and he goes. Oh second only. You're just like what does that mean like super offended by this? Why would you even rate another woman? And then she goes at sexy as hell or something like that like just flat out in his face saying how attractive she finds the other guy and then the only way they can bounce back from it is they have a date in their new shared home where they go in different rooms in talk all because that's the last time they were happy bedroom in one of them's through a wall so sorry to listeners. Out there who taxis can one fifth of love is for other and you don't know if they say yes or no the wedding day so I'm excited. I think I can only hit a one challenge. I want to go for to get. Outta love him blind in what's basically three episodes of the challenge. Okay what are the half hour episodes are learned our but yeah okay because it's like two and a half days. It's a slow build. I also think that just like even beyond trash TV sound like interesting experiment aspects of it to call it the experiment. I'm excited. I'm excited to watch those blind eye. Okay let me ask you this. Where does does the challenge stream anywhere? Tv APP TV APP got it. Don't log him with a cable subscription parenting but if you watch. I think they have the right. Now there's been two episodes but I think like five most recent episodes. You don't have to.

"CHECK THAT OUT. Just like the feel like my windows aren't sealed. Well Yeah I'm with you. I'm with you Charlie. That's that's the old pass mile life. Good Ac no matter what you could still go also. I'm pretty sure I have a raccoon. Living in my crawlspace really did you name. It haven't named it yet. I'm aiming it and you don't want to let him out without harming him. I've done some reading on this. And it seems like most people err on the humane side of. You've got to have someone who comes in an expert who can get the whole. It depends on what you've got is one male raccoon if you have a family because if it's just a male you can shoot out of they're pretty good but if it's if it's a family then it's a little more evolved. You gotta like do it at certain times of day. And they like to be activated dusk and like you know throughout the night and so all I know is that it like the middle of the night like Navy. Like in between two and four. Am here like this really loud. Like running noise. It goes from one end like from where ports starts outside underneath the crawlspace like to the other side of the house and it sounds like it. Sounds like animals right next to my ear. But it's it's in a crawlspace in I can't do anything about it Transition have you seen videos of people who have raccoons as pets online at a great youtube rabbit hole just for the record their waste smarter than dogs and they are endurable. Expect Charlie Lake Win. Someone holds their pet raccoon. It's got like a bigger body than I would expect. Yeah because they therefore they're fluffy but they're earthier than a cat where if he's sort of like hold a cash all their fluff is gone. There's some there's some real mass in their like their shapes. They've got a big hips. Look like red pandas which also somewhere inside. Because I wonder how many degrees of separation there is biologically between raccoons and Red Pandas Akanbi. It's on they are super smart till you can teach them all of the tricks. He ever dog and like they're great. Billions people like having data handshakes around with their families because they have opposable thumbs them eating snacks with their hands. Like they're a little. Humans is the cutest thing pretty vaccinated though right like there's no way you can take a like I've read. There's a thing called raccoon. Roundworm like really if you have a raccoon your house you've got to be like super worried about dislike coming your vents. Or whatever I don't know sleeping at night right now will. I'm not because the raccoons waking me up every few hours but aside from that I feel like it's enough like it's in the crawlspace and that's kind of stop on the ground like Amanda will like you know. Stop with UAW marooned room to make sure it doesn't but yeah it's it's not ideal but we will come out right now. Can I ask you a question? Is it possible that this isn't a raccoon? And you just think it is. Have you seen it? It is possible little like a non could be a large rat an Armadillo. I see it could be an Armadillo. It can literally be anything. I've not seen it so ghosts. Ghosts are on the table. I want it could be a ghost of a previous That yeah also. Yeah Wow me name. It's I think. He named Steve Generic name for the ghost. Coon yeah does it goes. Raccoon have name the previous director in before it died. Or do you rename it ghost. Yes if it's reincarnated now has the same raccoon of of that spirit is the same. Now we're talking about raccoon reincarnation though yeah absolutely raccoon carnation anyway. Yeah so I think that the spirit of the raccoons stays forever because the ghost of that raccoon so take marriage. Reincarnated spirit is taking on. No marriage no merchants at death. I thought it was like eternity but no marriage ends at death. Death US aren't exactly. The names on raccoons lasts longer than marriages. So the challenge started. Yes week. Great guys. Catching up Charlie. Kravitz is taking notes on the challenge which I love the enthusiasm but I feel like it's kind of really unnecessary because it's not like the deepest show that you need to play Coz they close notes about. I thought we were doing this. Podcast last week too and I thought talking on camera which oak without notes in front of me. Like if you could see myself now on assume and I have the split-screen notepad at this week's episode and Zoom so I don't get sidetracked the salient points. I'm going to have about the show manses in Waken I see. Can I see what the notes look like sheriff strings so they all go out those those? I'm impressed it. Is You know the narrative arc of the episode number eight. Can we just start with number eight? We can't okay. It's the number eight for people not viewing. This is everybody soon on twitter. Zoom is not enough. Ct Challenge legend owner of Johnny Bananas Breadth Backpack which this season is last time they were in Prague Kerry. Johnny Bananas Adamant Elimination Backpack and threw him into a trash can which is great history but the only we got in episode two with him eating a bowl tortilla chips saying that his entire his entire strategy flipped upside out. So I've no idea what the hell any of you're talking about right now but I do. I have heard the name. Ct Johnny Bananas. Johnny Dana's I've heard these two names like like enough times in the course of conversations that I don't understand where I feel like I should know just like a few bullet points about who. Cg Johnny Bananas Are So. I can really get into the challenge saw. Okay I have to say is that. I haven't watched the challenge since it was quote the Real World Road Rules Challenge. But when Billy told me to watch it. I was like I. DuNno his C. T. There that's like one of the few memories that I have. Yes he's still. Which is why Charlie Kravitz to talk about not messy never enough city and I remember Johnny Bananas in the only other saving grace that I have. Is that a lot of these people on this season. Our Form Big brother contestants. Which is my favorite reality show of all time. Maybe my favorite show of all time in so. I really have no idea how many people are on this show. Sometimes it feels like to people sometimes. It feels like forty people. I don't know who anyone is but could really relate to number eight and Charlie him. I agreed that Johnny Bananas and C. T. Are really the only names that I know? Yeah I would say Just to get you in the door. If I was telling you on it you really gotTa Know About West C. E. T. in Johnny Bananas Sort of Three Godfathers of this interesting challenge. They've been around for the better. Part of legitimately fifteen years of my life their forties there. He's sort of the original one. Man Wrecking crew. He's from Real World Paris on on which he was like jacked. He wore like a fedora and got into fistfights and the Paris. You brought that to the challenge where he basically came like he is a complete mercenary. He's never in an alliance almost ever but he's bigger than everyone. He sort of like the physical abroad of the challenge. So people don't really want to challenge him limitations because he's got fifty seventy pounds of mass on on on all of them and he's got like a history of it'd be problematic violence if it happened today but at the time was epic reality Bites. Can we talk about the fact that you described him as so much bigger than everyone else and Lebron of the game? Because last year we started looking this up and we found out that C. T. Who is a giant above? Everyone is only six feet tall else. Yeah just to ask. Those measurements were so. He's six feet and like what would you put him out of my way through fifty. Now Yeah. He's put on some weight but yeah like when he was dominating he was probably like six feet like to fifteen to twenty and the guys that they show that are like running around like Jack. This Guy Paul who was on last season. We looked them up. So He's like a loud mouth and he was just talking crap to everybody. The entire season. Right finale gala final challenge and he was like passing Alex. He seemed like he was GonNa die and they were talking about these heavy things that he had to liftings Elliott a hundred and fifty pounds like holy crap like this guy who appeared to be Jack. One fifty probably like what five foot five a five. Five one fifty when we check his college soccer profile. Luckily you see T- still at this advanced age young forties like he's still dominates these challenges because he's big in Sony. Yes and no. He won last season. But the way we'll get into it because this actually is a value for this season. He won last season because in the eliminations. Which are always mono mono there certain ones that are basically the Oklahoma drill So it's like a sled push variety or a hall brawl where they make these small tunnels Geronimo breach or you have to restless stick from someone so like even though he's got a limited skill set choosing to go against him and elimination. If it's the right elimination he just has a distinct advantage. Still it's game suicide basically like if you'd go get him so this year's twist if you WANNA get yes elizabeth say I was Gonna say even someone who is not watched. I feel it coming out of episode one. I was so jacked up after learning the twist mcphee Lake. It is very redeeming thrilled for it. So I wanted to talk about the twists. Okay so charlie the way that he makes it to the finals most of the seasons and the vets into the finals one they always put in the new people right away to say like oh you need to prove yourself and it's really just they don't want to be in the eliminations so they make all the New People Kinda cannibalize themselves right so the older people kinda just escaped till the end because they never compete in elimination so they never get eliminated. They're always there yet. But this year Charlie Kravitz can tell you about the twist. Yeah this year you have to win elimination to be eligible to go to the finals. You get on that sticker. You actually have a helmet and you get a helmet which is a red skull and this rule was instituted most likely because of power couple from last season Pauline Car Maria. The affirmation five worse. I agree guy who basically used his stat as a couple to have a massive alliance and that all these millions keeping him from getting getting any sort of nation gets the final him in his significant. Other Kara are completely useless and keep their team from winning. Say this role and now these are not on this season tonight as ask them. What is Johnny Bananas Rule? Not to take. What is Johnny Bananas in a nutshell? I understand his import. I would say so. Johnny Bananas Lives on being conniving. He's probably in that five eight. He started off as someone who is like an APP an ulcer in afterthought latched himself onto these good people and then he got into the whole cross world became Jack then started winning titles and he's famous for like a section can convincing other people him in west the other to the other sort of old head on this game both do their work by having other people do their work for them. Yes smarting them off and they hate each other you john even innocent each Johnny Johnny Bananas and West Haiti. Maybe accept this season. They're now partners. And the one one of my favorite things about these episodes that they're doing all confessionals and they're sort of still pulling the puppet strings on this game. Even though their physical skills have mind announced knows about that at alliance right and they're doing a more suspicious. You Know Problem Charlie. Hume with With what's going on is the titus kind of turn on this and I think everybody else. It's done throughout. History with them is also like forty in there like you know what like. I needed to get on with my life. But they're still doing this show and they're still on it every season so they brought in so many new people that the new people do not respect or fear them at all so like every season. Now they're getting instead of going towards the end where like Davies legends of the game. Or whatever they're getting kicked out by week five. 'cause no one wants to deal with them and they're just kinda trouble old. They're also both in relationships. They're not involved in any of the finances they show..

"I was out of my home outside of that yet. So much hockey this board hosting comes back is hoping comes back which is coming back next. Wednesday's The challenge on MTV sport. What are you talking about was the last night we watched on? I want to know you need to start watching the challenge because the challenge used to. Kinda just be like real world and road rules people and they go and they do like somewhat physical things but like they weren't like athletes per se. Now it's like everybody is just across person and everything that they do is like insane and like they seem also like these giant titans of people and then he looked them up online. And you're like holy crap this person. It's like Jackson's doing all these things it's like I can't do. It is five foot four. Not that that's like all but like they look Jack and then they talk about a hundred and fifty pounds like one hundred and fifty pounds like Oh my God. I can't remember the last time I weighed a hundred and fifty pounds. But it's basically like cross for competitions that they'll do like once or twice an episode and they locked them all in a house together and they just like over serve them very clearly and it's just fights Galore which is like the exhausting part of if you like watch too much like God like like you guys are like forty years old. Why are you still fighting over the same thing every season? Everybody's fighting with each other like when are we going to move past these petty beasts? But it's coming back next. Get Ready Roy. You're on this. No you're.

"Down to the poorly dyed. Hair central passing diversity. We need the Latin Cop. Leave in the non white people locally for yes. Yeah the ultimate outsiders. Whoa social commentary. What was the Terry Maitland question? Okay so at one point hollies in the cave. Some Roth Brings Terry. I don't remember context. And she goes. Who's Terry Maybe Clyde brings him up right? Who'S TERRY? Why would holly finale? Holly say who's Terry she knows who terriers. I don't know that's probably as an answer. Maybe a different terry. Well let me ask you this. Given that given what happened or different holly given what happened. That's the possibility but given what happened given that the final scene. Am I going to spoil this first? To God's who still wants to see what it is that after the credit he's been able to piece it together although it might extending you too much credit so far way too much credit go ahead yeah just let it fly. Listen to me after the credits happen. Because here's the thing that I thought Tied in that Terry question that you're asking me about where the episode actually ends where the season and is not with the freaky horror movie. Cliche of this isn't over. There's Jack possibly over her shoulder in the mirror. She's scared and grabbing at her neck because she's not sure that she's been infiltrated Bioko. But where the season actually ends is her staring at. Terry Maitland being exonerated on her computer and whatever the gazette was of the time she didn't seem to know I don't know what they were trying to do with that particular part of the ending but I didn't understand what she was thinking as they stayed on her face for thirty seconds and she's calling up on the Internet Terry Maitland's face and it looks at the end. Like what does she know who he is then and do the COO clones regenerate with the scratch on their arms because I found it very weird that she'd would be reaching for her neck to see if there was any sign of right but she's got a gash on her arm and it's like that's no that's no problem. There's the two kinds right of the OKO army. There's the the slaves like Jack those guys and then there's the scratches and that when you get scratched it's when Oku goes trying to take your face right now he's GonNa assume your identity and at the end the final courtesy and they do they zoom in on her arm and she's got a big scratch so the question is winning she get that and what happens if Elko scratched her to assume or identity. But he's gone like how because you don't feel like the. Rock was enough right in. How does she get the scratch helping? Claude? I didn't getting the rockoff Claude. There's a scene where everything goes dark right after the K. falls and then there's the the lamp out of nowhere stuff as you got this crash on the hook up is you should never really if you watch the final. She never got close to L. Cuco so I have no idea when the scratch would've occurred. Maybe oh Claude declawed that they help survive. But here's the thing. Cloud survives. Has anyone ever been cloned or replicated by? Oko But then gone on to survive the woman in prison. Yes imprisoned so naturally the first place that my mind went when Claude was when they leave the cave and then they go back and they see clot. I'm like Oh that's CUCO. You can't try. It's like this is classic horror market but then they go back to like the remains of Gluco. Who's playing possum? And then it's faced arch transform right well. Claude doesn't have that power. I can't suspend disbelief. That much toward new students hasn't seen the scene but Mike. Do you have any thoughts on how they ended the entire season? Like the very last thirty seconds. What was happening there with holly gibney staring at a computer. Attari maitland being exonerated I dude. I was sort of I. I when I first 'cause my first experience with this With the series was not watching that final end credit scene so I felt like oh it got tied together nicely and Oh cool Hollywood's the outside of this entire time. That was a fun story. And then they did the traditional like setting up for a sequel thing and I was like well it is Stephen King interested but I've got no idea exactly how this goes and inevitably it's going to be explained to me in season in episode one of the next season because I'm not smart enough to figure this out because I only had way more questions way but ashes washing this or any expressions. Is there any emotion? Is there anything blank? She was sort of. It looked like she was learning something. She's blanket zooms in on the scratch on her arm. Just think the implication is that she has supernatural powers. Outsider knows an outsider. I think you remember the scene earlier. Where the crucial Latino character hold on hold on a second but then you think that carries over to the next to the next season. That's exactly why they put it seen earlier where our friend salvo tells her boyfriend that she has the ability to go in a room and see who's going to die right in its history. And he's like I'm kidding. I feel like there's probably some veracity to that and we're going to learn. She does have some kind of supernatural abilities. Sort of like Nick Cage. Knowing that is it always comes back to nick a claim. Isn't it obvious that holly has some sort of supernatural powers but doesn't totally have a grip over how they work like if she's isn't that obvious when she's on the bus and it almost derailed because she's seeing something that terrifies her and it's not because she's fear based or spooked because clearly she's not fear based or spooked Very easily because she wasn't in any way afraid of the curiosities around Elko. I thought it was. I thought that she had supernatural psychic power like what are the powers right because in the bus she sees the one of the slaves the guy who got killed then in the end she sees Jack One of the slaves who got killed. Why is she in particular having visions of those people? I don't know I don't understand I needed. Explain to me and I was hoping you had the answer me. That's why we had you on me. I watched every second idea what you're talking. We WanNa know what it is that you saw in the clues and the crumbs like you gave us at the beginning air where you're referencing earlier episode. Tell US holly. Sometimes you have to embrace the mystery to understand that which cannot be understood. Mike. It's such a shame that you landed on your best impression personality of all time and it has absolutely no utility words for like a bloodline light. Fans conference impressed. One lines really good. I really like bloodline to people. Should Watch are coming out of this news. Netflix drop in now this next week. Is this month. Big John Rayburn very limited in blood. I haven't seen in a while trying to kill me again. I see you're always dance Davor. Dan Has Valerie gotten you to watch. Love is blind. She has not yet. I don't know if she's seen that. Oh my God wait a minute I as many back. They're saying he's saying he's where he is the key to came tumbling the finger saying do not watch that and whatever you do. Dan Don't watch police. Don't watch oh you're going to watch it because there's no more no more sports so you watch all. This is the worst. Just know that what did about. Oh Okay I've seen I don't know. I saw this like awkward interview on the Today. Show where Vanessa Manila and Nicholas Shea. Well Vanessa Nicholas J were interviewed. They're the host of this show and they were like man. This is a concept that's never been seen before but it was like love connection. You wouldn't see you would have bachelor number one two and three and you wouldn't actually get to see the person that you're falling in love with so it's a dating show but it's just based on personality throughout the show you getting to know somebody and then the Grand. I saw okay. I saw that. It's a new Ram reveals a physical appearance. Yeah so I've only seen that clip and I've seen a clip of Vanessa Liz Shea introducing herself as one of the hosts she goes through this law long introduction and Nicholas Shea goes to a group of people and I of course Nicklaus. I obviously. I'm Nick O'Shea in twenty twenty. I can't say obviously nickless shade to members of ninety eight degrees but he pulls it off. Have you ever heard the story of the awful thing that Stu gods did the Nicholas Yang what? Oh you don't know this story. Hey let's Let's go ahead and tell her this story. Michael running get the sound. Well First Things First. The part of the story That begins the whole tail. Is that we were at Shaquille O'Neal's birthday party. That was at the pursaching mansion at the time. Stu Gods And some investors that he put together to have our radio station exist We're doing big splashy things and so we hosted Shaquille O'Neal's slash birthday party during the Super Bowl and my defense. I told one of the investors the owner to go get a rundown shack at Fort. Lauderdale that we could use as a super bowl party house and he did and he came back with a contract for the And it was a big thing. Tom Cruise was staying there. Daniel Snyder was staying. Yeah it was. I don't think this was actually shacks birthday party. I think this was a super bowl that was intended for Saudi. Manch KNOWS THE SHACK. One hundred or two hundred. I think. Dan's right easily party and invited like one hundred or two hundred of his closest for us to shed birthday events because my first day with the two one at the hard rock in one of the versus you mentioned but Nicholas was there and stugatz totally Fan Boyden by coming up to him and saying you gotTa talk to my wife. She's a giant Fan of yours and just wore him down in Nicholas was impossibly kind about it and talk to his wife but then what happened is Later on Nicholas was on the radio with us in stugatz totally forgot about all the things that Nicholas had been kind about and was just pressing on him about the fact that Jessica Simpson had You know at that relationship had ended and she had gone with Tony. Romo and Meena. Dan's not totally innocent. And in this pressing of Nicholas on Tony Romo but after an interview of pressing on the Tony Romo Button. We've tried to play celebrity prognosticator with Nicholas and it goes like this. The way this.

"What do you think of the job that Jason Bateman did as an actor in this series because some of my favorite scenes involved Jason Bateman? But I when he was in the show only in the first and second episodes in the first couple of episodes I was still trying to figure out what the show was. And you don't know exactly how long he's going to be in it But then. In retrospect you realize well he acted out the confusion almost better than anybody even like the final boss. Level CUCO. I thought he I mean he was great. I thought it was truly ambiguous the first few episodes whether or not he did which is what you wanted. And His Family Dynamic I. I was not that interested in his wife. Second half of this series. Did you guys feel the same way? Okay yeah the secondhand actress. Yeah the first half I thought she did. She did quite well. And then I found a little redundant. What did you make of like them? Devising this entire plan at because realize. We're not going to be able to convince anybody that Oh cuco exists also minor beef with the fact that throughout all the promos of the outsider. They always end with Ralph holding a boulder over his head and slamming it down. They gave away. What was like L. Kuko's undoing in all the promos? Was IT IS UNDOING. If I'm Ralph. I'm going full decapitation. Well like sort of two main. As right the borough way. That's it tomorrow from Predator. If it bleeds you can kill it. It was obviously running away from a group of people because it wasn't fully formed. It was week. Holly figured out that you can kill it because it holds onto a handrail when going down and cave like she said that that it's fears falling down. Then we must be able to kill it. I'm curious Do you have a some theories because you just told us about a couple of things that That you help you with the mystery of this. Do you have some theories on why it is that Jack would not kill holly at the end but did try to kill her earlier when he was shooting at the back of her car when she escaped to the bathroom. I don't think she's on their side. I think that's like a red herring on their side from their side like when she says Outsiders no outsiders. I don't I think that she has a decent idea of what this thing is. Yeah I think the whole Holly Connection to Jack in the GOCO in her. Getting them not to kill her. That's more of a game recognize game situation like I don't and when we talk about sort of the final ending I don't think she's controlled by him in any way. I just think there's some sort of weird connection w think Jackson will eventually saw value in holly for sure right I. I don't understand how jack approach this whole thing like what was hit like because there is points again through until the very end he was sort of fighting it right like he was trying to resist it. You remember the whole scene in the apartment when Okuka slapping him around turns into the mom I think to me. I don't know how he thought okay. Yeah Oh Kukushkin be satisfied if I just killed three people. That's going to be good right. Then he's GonNa leave me alone. I don't know how he thought it was going to end for him. Minor or Dan because it certainly not going to be a guy. Can you explain to me when Ralph is like about to make his exit from the cave any realizes she go on ahead death warrant check something out and he sees two goals that sort of signal? yeah you gotta go back and finish the job on L. Cuco. Because you're just playing possum. Why the Gould who the goals? I wasn't shy to happen. I was kid. I thought one of them was assigned one was his son and I assume that I thought one was his son. And I thought another one was someone who died With the Family. Claude's family in the in the rockslide when the cave came down it but I didn't understand why there were two of them I thought they would. They would choose between either the two kids who went into the cave or his son but I did think one of them had to be The grief of losing a child was in front of him. And didn't he say that didn't he say something to that effect? I saw Darren or something he saw. Darren and Darren told me I have to let it go. Let just let it go. Yes so he sees Darren again because I go looking past that you can see the future. Yeah that's how we knew L. Kogo was still had some sort of lingering powers. Who's WHO's the other boy was that Terry Maitland's accused the alleged victim of Terry Maitland? I don't know why the second boy I could recognize it. I barely recognize Darren. Yeah I don't know maybe it was one of the kids from the fifties or whatever he's got killed I liked how that played at Ralph. He wasn't actually dead by being able to see it. I thought that was one of the more interesting turns in finale try. I was just trying to find the logic in it. Like now is are these hallucinations. Is this just a projection of what Ralph is seeing in his mind or these actual like beings that are like well we live in a world where in L. Cuco can exist then ghouls can just show up? Willy Nilly and tell you. Hey No finish the job. I think that's the whole point of the again the ending with Holly. It's not that she's still connected to L. CUCO or that she. It's just like it's kind of why remember era earlier in the series when Ralph said if I accept this I have to accept that we don't know anything. Yeah Right. Yeah no breakthrough moment. I have just sort of extended life quite there you got a damn good impersonation really is. Unfortunately I doubt very many people listening to this right now. Recognize how good it is. If you're listening to this you love that show you right. Yeah if you have any having unplug get a second season shirt one hundred percents sure thousand percent so there are other. Aku goes out there too. Well that was left open. He asked her remember. Yeah well CUCO says. I've often thought that there were others. They're out they're out hunting. Kuko's essentially as where this is headed right. I think going to be Okubo task force out there in different cities with different big time movie actors lending their name to what is now a credible series. That did well critically right. Damned what do you make of? Who IS TERI HOLLY? Sang turns to her and asked about Terry. And she goes. Who IS TERI? Holly knows who tear US why. What is a possible reason why she would say that? In the finale. I misunderstood your question because I was busy. Trying to think of the most useless actor in the entire series the characters name and I realized while you were as question no sad blow Saab Long Meena Love Saba. No I like because he was useless. He's just wandering around. Being used. Every crew needs someone that believes I was always there. I was so glad he survived. They went to the Latin guy. Of course I'm in on this. What are you doing? Asked me the question again me now because I'm sorry because I've found Saab low to be relatively useless? I couldn't remember his name for the life of me while you're me. That question about Terry Maitland. A by the way by could funny that the they went to like he was Super Catholic. They went to the church. I'm surprised they didn't have them like surfing Serving cavs does.

"Keeping with the recent trajectory of mystery crate. Which makes it just like a television review. Podcast now we talk about the bachelor with boys and now we are recapping the outsider. Hbo's The outsider. That giggle that you hear right there unmistakable. Meena kinds and this is a star studded affair because the Dan Le Batard and Stugotz who watched every episode of the outside are also here to discuss. This is a recap of one of the better. Hbo Mini Series Question. Mark in recent memory. So Meena you've seen all the episodes. We've all seen the finale and we found out in one of the commercial break. Seren our show that everyone watched the end credit scene. Except for STU gods who discovered end credit scene after the final episode watched by the way your overall take on season one. Maybe season the only season of the outsider. Well first of all. I'm just glad that amidst all of the pressing news everything that's happening right now. We are gathered today to talk about television series that ended four days ago. This is really we are doing the important work here and also I'd like to make a correction Mike. You didn't watch post credit scene. I texted you last night. Yes yeah you were shocked me and now I must the audience. I had no idea you're a jackass for doing. Hold on hold on real just real quick so if there are still people listening to this who don't know anything about the outsider. It was very tense. Build up to the final episode. Their supernatural things involved. There's evil involved and then after you think the show has ended in the season finale. There's some credits and then in the credit you've found another surprise that Mike didn't want to reveal to the audience he didn't see either so mean attacks. It takes me that there was an end credit scene. I'm like what because it's like the full credits and I'm watching it on demand. Why would I sit through credits? If there's no next episode to preview mean alerted me to this Dan. Did you watch this live? How did you know that they were in cry? Did I stayed with it? I didn't turn the television off after the credits appeared but had you know they were coming. I didn't know it was coming but the television still on. I didn't know to look for it. Just the television was still on and then I'm like Oh look here's more scene but you normally look through till the very end zone job wasn't even shock on the episode. It's just that I was sedentary. I simply not not moving to change the channel on television. Okay now now. So you've got the cliffhanger end of credits ending. It doesn't really change. What happened in this series? If anything it might set the table for more it does what horror movies where they set up the table for more. Well it changes how. I read the last episode. I mean do you WanNa talk about sort of the end credit scene and how informs our understanding of what? Holly who was holly in that last episode. Because she said some weird things during the finale that then through the lens of the ending seemed to be very different. How so because obviously the outsider? Which actually maybe holly. Because there was that whole line of dialogue there for her for like Gods and and Dan's dad basically where she sort of reveals that oh the outsider that's probably about holly's character not the the person with the droopy face so droopy face guy L. Cuco up presumably scratched holly at some point during the the the epic final tussle so okay in the end in the credits scene spoiler alert. I suppose you got holly. She has like this abrupt flashbacks. She's or she thinks she sees Jack appearing in it is reminiscent of that moment on the bus where she has like a weird Mirage. Which again makes you wonder is this about holly. As she always had something a little bit off about her because she had that incident earlier in the series where she has a vision right of someone connected to L. Cuco so she has a vision of Jack. She goes to her television set or something. She's listening to the radio which is something she says. She doesn't like to do earlier in the series. She doesn't let the music go for some reason. She's listening to music. Washington square comes on. Which is the song you might remember. That Ralph said came on from his mom after she died and he asks her for coincidence then she she keeps feeling the back of her neck. But you notice it zooms in and there's a scratch on her arm Nina. Did you pick up on all? This was happening or did you go. Is that it because this is learning all of this for the first time. I mean you guys really show you guys watch. Tv show sort of begs for you to look in the places where there's symbolism they do slow it down for you but I didn't know much of what it is that you just said there. I knew about the song and I knew that I like this. Whole show is sort of about the evil pain involved in losing child. It makes you wonder sort of his. Holly always had some grief or connecting her right to this phenomenon. You guys remember the scene on the bus right where she has visions and freaks out like the only people. Will I guess Ralph also had the dream somehow Oko got into his stream and his wife Anne Rouse wife Rouse wife and right and there's nothing wrong with them the other thing though. I'll say in the finale at some point and this was super weird. You guys notice she says who's Terry why did she. How did she not know? Who's Terry is new theory was? Yes so wait a second. What she was she a clone is like the original holly. I don't understand what's happening right now. We're there to Hollywood just like switching places. What do you mean? Where's Terry? Who's Terry I like? Kuko's little man cave. I thought it was kind of really. Get that lamp in the little blink bedroom set us so I don't understand the whole point of bringing L. Cuco electronics. This was a theme throughout. Like now I'm sort of reading to you jack. Bring like bodies of like Deer that he would Or actual hunters that he would bread crumbs from Hell. Yeah Brennan Trump's from Alvin. He would veto CUCO but he would. Also bring lamps that you wondered. How is this plugged in in the middle of the forest? I I didn't get the lamps. How how is that lamp on in the cave? I don't understand. Well come on guys really. We're going to question when this thing is to kill from the beyond it is to have a phone electric your point if you're suspending disbelief. So HE TURNS THE LIGHTS ON CELL. He thinks about it off at one point. He's evil going all of the land and there's always lamps and why does L. Cuco need to watch TV? Is He powering by just delivered? Tv there was like a huge Meta TV. Yeah like Oh yeah. Isn't that pit. They would bring electron ix in the middle of the forest. And You wonder what is the meaning behind all of this powering it just by the the supernatural power that emits from his souless body. I don't understand but let's we'll circle back to like the final theory that you get. Hbo On my plane. I had to do with this whole downloading thing. Cuco GETS IT in freaking case fix about in there. It is all right so season as a whole long view. Obviously every I think Hollywood everyone's favourite character as for grow. No I like Jack I like. Oh I thought Jack was more of a Manhattan Oku. I thought Jack was scarier than L. Cuco Jack was great. How Jack is not your favorite character there. No and it's a brilliant job. I wish I knew. That actor's name because he was amazing and ozark which I imagine Jason Bateman sort of found discovered him and cast him in this. But I thought Hollywood so well played now by the end of the run. You KINDA got a little tired of the idiosyncrasies that her character had and she leaned on we'll get to your impression at some point or no. No no no no no no no we build up to Menas. Holly Give me in person with Dan. If she does a highly now she can supplement the rest of the podcast. Holly `ISMs that's a good point. Markman Chaka by the way this impersonation in ancient cultures throughout Greek history there have been many interpretations of reality. You cannot open your eyes until Galley until you acknowledge what is not the other as the so. You didn't like Jack Though. Why wait a minute Mike? Do you do a Ralph? I've done around since he was on bloodline. Like you're looking for something. That's not really rooted in reality. He has a slight lisp and he's also Australia Australian actor any shit. He also went on Tour with as a dancer is a No. You know I I know people that went to see as arena tour and he was just like part of the tour as a dancer. No Mendelssohn town. Here's take four episodes. Should have been one episode. Do we all agree I. I thought I thought that they could have done better. In terms of the pace how they paste it out at the end and I also thought that they could have done better. They sort of. I didn't want to see so much CUCO. I wanted to be a little more mysterious and have that be at the end and I didn't find him as scary once. They humanized him in the last television. Gary Kemp K. So the final confrontation. Everyone's Oh it's been building we're finally going to learn about. Holly's had all these theories based on my reading and so we have this confrontation and Kuku whom just hungry children taste. Good and you know I feel like Dan would have gotten more out of elko than Holly. There's nothing Dan LE. Dan is the original grief. Eater right like there's your lowest. Tell me how Kuka while you're getting children. Does that feel like a desperate deep despair? You feel empty an evil yes I am. The original green been watching the show thinking about how you would have done. Cuckoo is not giving you live here but I feel like if I can get him to his childhood me and I'm interested. Why do you feel like those four? The final four episodes should have been one episode. Okay so maybe the one where the families at the park right. That was kind of interesting and go. Try makes a move on the kid during the festival but certainly the ultimate episode could have been merged because nothing happened in the last one. It was just like a crazy cliffhanger ending in which you see a sniper lining up for a shot and then you just hear it fades to black and you just great. They were building the entire thing up till that ending. You WOULD WANNA watch. The season built up to one of the more unique finales. I think in television history. Because usually with finale you build up series is all about building up to one final moment towards the end of a show. This goes right out the box I it starts at its apex and the rest of the episode. I think sort of cools down. And I've never seen a finale quite like that Meena I found the whole shootout very frustrating. I feel like St Gas is going to be with me on this. Why was everyone running around? Just the dude was just spraying bullets. Let him run out of ammunition era. I don't know what I was doing. A great point earmarked for death the moment but I felt that I felt everything that was happening. There is like okay. We're getting to the ending here. Let's bloody a whole bunch of character and I gotta take them all. I gotTa Tell You. I was happy when seal went down. I was happy when the brother of Claude who've never menas right like they treated that. See like you're on the beaches at Normandy. You just got to keep moving forward. It's one guy versus towns. Just stay still. Let them run AMMO. He was going nuts and then a snake came in. There was a snake all of a sudden on. How do you not love though the scariness of Jack? Bloated face snake bitten drinking straight for Jack Daniels bottles shooting at everybody except holly. He did not he would not. You did not and would not shoot at home Jacksonville to hell. I don't understand how that was effective. Especially if your theory about holly was is actually accurate. Whether or not. That's actually holly. How would she know the damn somebody to help? And if she's like one of these R-enfield xlt now why would she be damned? Oh maybe Jackson and shooter because she was working for the L. CUCO. Did we just figure that out? I feel like that was fairly obvious that Holly Know Holly that. Holly can speak to. Didn't they make it obvious that holly can absolutely have powers over everything that is elko related that she understanding she just relates in kind of has an overall feeling for a minute but she is stopped? She knew she was stopping. That Bhai telling Jack I damn you to hell and Jack. Actually said in that moment like I'm already there. I've already gone it sort of humanizes situation for Jack but I thought it just tapped into one of the previous episodes were the very long car ride. The impossibly Long Carla Favorite Episode Jack. Alice truly ten Jack and Holly shared like Jack could've off her at any point but for some reason he did holly. I don't know if it's a power. Or if he sees something good inner the entire time but it takes them to a certain point to actually get to the point where he wants to kill her tartar argument. Let's was really interested in how Holly Convinced Ralph that he existed. You remember US asking her questions. I kind of feel like Him Jack. Like it wasn't necessarily that she was part of the. Okubo gang but maybe they thought this woman has information like Jack was asking her. How do you stop this thing like? I think? Maybe he didn't kill her because he thought she might actually be able to help them..
