Texan princess evicted from Rome villa, Caravaggio stays

"A Texas born princess was evicted from her villa in Rome. Princess Rita and red von campney, ludovisi, maiden named Carpenter, has been involved in a bitter inheritance dispute. She and her dogs abandoned the casino del arora hours after police arrived to enforce a court mandated eviction order. I love Italy and I'm so sorry to have such a brutal ending. To what has been a labor of love for 20 years. The princess's husband died in 2018 and his children from earlier marriages fought for control of the villa. Ludovisi says an article in the civil procedure says his stepmother can not rent. Because she's American, she can not do whatever he wants. This is a country. We have our police. We have our judges, and you need to respect our country. And our laws, if you stay here, it's not clear who will now undertake the work of the villa, which needs at least $12 million in renovations. These are the times that try men's souls, as they say. I'm Ed Donahue

"Guys, I'm really thrilled about today on the podcast we have a guest and a great guest in studio, Sean Patrick Flannery, a Hollywood actor. He is an American actor born in Lake Charles Louisiana. It was raised outside of Houston, Texas. He's appeared in over a hundred movies and TV shows, powder, suicide kings, the boondock saints, the young Indiana Jones chronicles, Criminal Minds, the dead zone, Dexter, and so on. He also owns and operates while on martial arts academy. Hollywood Brazilian jiu-jitsu. And we're here to talk about a film, a new film coming out this week, April 14th. Called nefarious. John Patrick, welcome to the podcast great to have you. Thank you. And let's talk a little bit about Hollywood first. You're a Texas kid. Who went to Hollywood? What got you there? Well, I went to university of Saint Thomas and I was studying business with focus on law and I saw the most beautiful girl I've ever seen at the time leaving a building. And I did what any red blooded Texan does. He goes to the school administration office and he drops an English class to sign up for whatever they're teaching that building. And that's true story. And in the building was the theater department. And so I fell in love with acting. And I wrote a piece of children's theater and I decided, after school, I was going to drive out to LA and I was going to try and produce that play. And then an agent could I submit you on some commercials? And I said, yeah, if it supplements my writing career, then I got a handful of those and she goes, let me submit some theatrical, which means TV and movie. And I said, absolutely, if it supplements my writing group. Next thing I know I was on a plane to go do young Indiana Jones and the acting kind of took over.

"That you have done this before because you're trying to get insider info. Has anyone done this to you that they've kind of kept you on the hook? A shit ton. I feel like shit ton of people. I've matched with on dating apps. It's like hot and heavy in the beginning, you're just like texting back and forth as witty and it's like all this banter and then it just keeps going and you're like how much wittier can we get? This is just getting very exhausting. Texan gets very exhausting when you're texting someone you don't know. And I think it depends on the stage too. Like if you're on the dating app stage and you're texting them and it doesn't seem to ever be going into a date. I think you can just say something like, hey, I feel like this conversation would be better for in person. Do you want to meet up sometimes? Yeah. Or do you want to meet up if you want to even be more bold next week? What days work for you? That's what I would do. And if they weren't receptive, then you cut it because there's only so much longer you can talk to a complete stranger, right? Like someone you've never met before. I think the one to two day ones. Those are a little trickier, but at the same time, it's like we don't know each other that well. Why can't this move? I mean, if you want to be a little more empathetic, you could even say like, hey, is there something going on in your life right now that's causing you not to be able to meet up? I was really down to keep getting to know you, but it seems like for whatever reason we're not on the same page with that. Like it doesn't need to be confrontational, but I think not being afraid to ask it is going to save a lot of time for you than just getting wrapped up.

"We're in the cartels are running, where people are wanting to get caught because I'm from the area. Yes, sir. And I thought it was really great that they came all this way. And we're going to be combining forces this weekend. We're going to be vetting their guys are going to be vetting our guys. We're going to make sure everybody's good to go. No hot heads. Exactly. That's been my big thing as well. Okay, so you're going to be teaming up with PFA then. That is correct. We've already teamed up with the Texas freedom for us. Okay, that was who they were. They are the guys that were told me about last night. At least I was there last night meeting with them. Oh, okay, fantastic. Well, you know, at least at least temporarily, we're going to house you all here with us as well. With our group and work together. So that's frigging awesome, dude. Hey, ray, can you just give him a lowdown of this property you're on and what all is available? Absolutely. It's a little over ten acres. I don't want to say the name or anything. It is a rescue operation here. With a school, a full church, a 6000 foot square foot warehouse of food and donations. As well as a full blown church, a full commercial kitchen, will want for nothing here. Awesome. And I can bet at least a hundred geyser. Arsenal because I'm trying to get as many guys in the areas I can. We got another place in Edwards county. We're going to be able to use it. Outstanding. Well, I've got some meetings Monday with some large ranch owners and such and we're going to probably have some more places coming through that. I won't know until Monday. My guys are slow rolling. It'll be over this weekend. That, you know, the fitness working up this week and getting at your stuff and then we'll start rolling in. I'm getting my admin team in and immediate site security came in first, so that we can get that going. I will let you eat your number. So I can get everybody to meet up this weekend. And we will get the ball rolling for next week. Is that when you are going to roll in here? What are any rolling in Kinney county in uvalde county, but large numbers? Well, rooster and Sam and M can get you all out to this site. They have been here a couple of times already. We've already allotted an apartment block for you guys. To house you up, and you know, depending on how many you got, we have spare cuts as well that we can throw into these bedrooms if needed. But each department has got like two bedrooms on it with at least four boat beds. So we have plenty of room. We also have a full blown medical cash. There will be establishing. We have all medical supplies and two exam tables. Nice. Yes, they told you what the Texas freedom forged says. Uh, no, I worked with him before out of Houston, but I'm not sure what they're bringing to the table. Oh, they're bringing the command center. What are you talking about? All right. One thing we need to do and we've got a place that we can put it behind the two story building where it's not visible. We're going to have to be low key and we roll in here, we are in 8th of a mile from the river. We're washing the cartel every night on the hilltop across from us. So we want to keep this as concealed and low key as we can initially till we get everybody in here. I think we might be working in the same area that I'm working in. So ray, when can media release this type of information. Not quite yet, Mike. Okay. I want to get the security on the ground here first. Okay, sounds good. So like I said, you know, we're going to, we're going to be working this county. I don't want to say which candidate. We're going to be working this county. I did sign. I own security firm. We did a sign a contract with the facility that my company has providing the security for this site, so all that is legit. And squirt away. And they can house whoever they feel like housing. If you know what I mean. Yep, you got it. All right, boys. Mike, when you're three, I need to talk to you. Okay. Yeah, you got a pen and paper. Right now I'm available. Let's do it. Okay. All right, two one zero. Three one four. 9 5 one zero. 9 5 one zero. And I'm sure that I'm sure that the PFI or PFA gas will let you know when you're rolling in here again. Extremely low key. You're just got you're just guys coming in for something. We don't want to make it obvious what it is. Yeah. Sounds good. Thanks, see you tomorrow. It's outstanding. Love it. All right, ray, hold the line, buddy. Thank you, Mike. Give me a call when you have time. No, hold the line, ray, that means stay there. Oh, okay. All right, what you got, ray. Sorry, man, I couldn't understand what you were saying. I know you're in. You saw it right now, correct? Yes. Yeah, these folks are excited to meet you, they want to, they want to partner with you. Okay. So I know you have many of these functions coming up, but as soon as you can get yourself or a representative here, they really want to meet. I have some power players coming in Monday. Okay. Here in Texas and we'd like you to meet with them as soon as possible as well. Awesome. Perfect. Why partner was one of the largest and you'll know who I'm talking about. Okay. We'll do. Love you, ray. I'll talk to you soon. I love you too, brothers. Bye bye. Bye. So please don't release that yet. Yeah. Hear that. It can ruin everything. Mike, who are you, what were you going to say? NFL Says All Teams Must Add Minority Offensive Coach

"NFL is now requiring every team to have a minority coach in a key offensive role. According to the NFL, turns out that recently the head coaches in the NFL have come from the offensive side of the ball and there is in the view of the NFL and insufficient number of minorities occupying these kinds of positions. Aside from the head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers, there is one other black coach, his name is lovey Smith, Texans just hired him. And the dolphins hired a man named Mike mcdaniel, who is biracial, one of his parents, it's white, one of his parents is black. And the NFL has now an equity measure to require each team to have a minority assistant coach. In a significant role on its offensive staff.

Fox's Brian Kilmeade Discusses His New Book 'The President and the Freedom Fighter'

"I'm talking to Brian kill me, you may know him from fox and friends, but he's written a lot of books. This one is called the president and the freedom fighter Abraham Lincoln Frederick Douglass in their battle to save America's soul. America soul could use a little saving right now. But we're not going to talk about that. What made you want to write a book combining these two figures? Well, I was looking for the last time I was here. You kind enough to interview me about Sam Houston, the Alamo Avengers. So I try to find an angle not plowed and the Alamo is, but San jacinto isn't 9 months later he ends up taking him out as San jacinto beating Santa Anna in 17 minutes because Texans know it, but the rest of the world. So I go, what's next? The Mexican war, I didn't think had enough. My opinion, I'm sure there's a lot there with Lee in the quartermaster grant and the fact that these generals fought on the same side and then years later, they'd be trying to kill each other and a lot of them successfully. I said, all right, the Civil War. What could I do that's not plowed ground from Ken burns a series to the remarkable book, David blight wrote about Frederick Douglas Scott? I think the book of the year, 5 years ago. And then what about Lincoln? I literally you and I gave the same situation. We get books about linking to our desks all the time, and they're all great. I'm waiting for nobody who's written been written about more. It's like maybe three people like who've written about Napoleon Jesus, Lincoln. I mean, I don't know how many books have been written about Lincoln. So yeah, what do you do for a fresh angle on the Civil War? So what I wanted to do is also I didn't mind tackling race, but I wanted to do it through quotes, not opinion. And racist never left the news, Black Lives Matter is raging at the time. And then you have you have a situation where as late as Condoleezza and rice Condoleezza Rice on the view, having to defend herself growing up in a Jim Crow south who knew all about racism, but grew up as his conservatives says, don't ever let it be an excuse. So I said, what have I talk about their parallel lives to the degree in which they read a lot of the same books? Did they overcame incredible obstacles? Nothing like Frederick Douglass. I get it. The guy was enslaved until he was in his 20 years old, two tries, got out in the second time within 7 years has a biography. It's a bestseller, and then starts a world tour and becomes famous in Scotland, Ireland, Germany, and England. This guy was a slave ten years before, but decides to come back to America because his 4 million enslaved 350,000 slave owners and he sees potential in this guy Lincoln and the Republican Party that we're finally ready to do

Texans Owner Cal McNair Used Anti-Asian 'Slur' During Golf Event

"The owner of the Texans. Cal mcnair used a racist slur at a charity golf tournament back in May. I thought, oh gosh, what did he say? What do you mean? What does that mean? Headline Texans owner Cal mcnair used anti Asian slur. During team golf event, this happened back in May. Cal mcnair wrapping up his remarks with according to a report at bally sports using a racist slur. And I'm thinking, gosh, that's tough. That's hurtful. That's hateful. One witness told a reporter, Michael silver, everyone gashed. Especially the people directly across from him. He and his wife seemed to think it was hilarious. It was dead silent. And then the article goes on to list scandals that his father had been involved in. His late father, who evidently used the phrase, you can't have the inmates running the prison. Referring to player protests about police brutality. I use that expression all the time. You can't have the inmates running the asylum. You can't have the inmates running the prison. I never thought of that as a slur. Or an attack. Certainly not racist. It's an expression that we've used for everybody uses. But back to Cal mcnair, I'm thinking, what did he do to use a terrible name to call you some racial horrible, you know, attack? Here's what he said. In fact, if you're driving, you might want to pull the car over to the side of the road. Because this is awful. You're going to be so shocked. At this monster, Cal mcnair, the owner, of the Texans, you're going to be so mortified, you're going to want him to be lose control of the team. You're going to want him to be incarcerated. I think incarceration is the is so egregious. It's so awful. It's so horrendous. I mean, even a New York newspaper calling this a racist slur. And when you hear it, it's worse than you think. Here's the quote, addressing a crowd of over a hundred. Over a hundred people, gasping. Fainting. Vomiting. Being taken away in the hospital, the hospital, they were so offended by this monstrous villainous evil racist named Cal mcnair. What did he say? Get to it Gallagher? He said, I'm sorry, we couldn't get together last year because of the China virus. That's it.

"Field, stays on the practice field is able to get the reps, I mean, look, I don't think he's gonna be in all pro this season or pro bowler. I don't even know if he's gonna start for this team this year. But he has potential to be a starter. I think at left or right tackle, sometime soon, if he keeps developing and he his feet were unbelievable, he you can make the argument that he's one of the most athletic tackles that they've had in recent years. I think that Nate soldier was a pretty good athlete. I think that could just has better feet than solar did, soldiers a little bit more powerful. But when I see just out there, I see Michael orr from the ravens. I mean, that's what he looks like to me and Michael orr was a Pro Bowl level right tackle. I think that Ted Keras did a lot for himself in this game. He even cooked up a couple pancakes. I love it. Syrup on my pancakes in the morning. Steady teddy was really good in this game and you know that he's tough as hell. Not the most athletic guy. But I think he put himself in a mix. So I think with those two guys and I think Haran did Haran did well in this game. He did much better for him. So maybe he's a better left than he is right. I don't know. I was gonna ask you that I think that those guys could just cares and her on have now put some of the starters on notice and, you know, when you're talking about when you're talking about a wenu that if they don't get their butts in gear if they don't raise up a level and play where they're supposed to be playing, then they're going to be put on the bench because the Patriots have other options now. All right, there's one thing I wanted to ask you about. Actually, two things quickly, they kind of go hand in hand. First of all, your thoughts on Josh McDaniels play calling in the red zone and his play calling after the punt debacle by Houston. I still don't know what the hell that was about. But McDaniels, I thought, you know, it's time to give Mac the keys in the red zone. It's time to, you know, allow your quarterback to do more that the three straight screen passes was absurd. There's just some of these calls, you know, running on first and second down and getting stuck in third and long and then running a simple play on third down. That's not going to get you the I mean, there's some of these things. Again, big picture, I think McDaniels put this team in this offense in a position to succeed on Sunday. I just have issues with that red zone area Greg. And some of these sudden changes of possession, the.

"Book for over 25 years. Greg, we got to talk about this, Houston, Texans game. It was awful in the first half. It was better in the second half. I want to start with three things that you feel better or at least good about. Yeah, so let's just start with the passing offense in general, Nick. I did I did feel well actually, let's make number one just the offense in general because I think that I think that they're performance has been sort of undersold. I think that I think that they were efficient. It wasn't perfect and we know this. And we know the deal with the offensive line going in and we'll get to those guys. But I mean, you're talking about an offense, and they are going against Texans, I understand. And I don't just look at, you know, who they're playing and in the bottom line production. I look at other things like, you know, basically, are they executing? Are they executing better? Because when things don't work in football, it's because the players are not executing. People love to talk about play calling in this and that. But they're just really, are they blocking the guy in front of them? Are they running the right route? Are they catching the ball? Is the quarterback making the right decision? So look, the Patriots, you know, get the ball after the defense can never get off the field and for first quarter. They go ten plays for touchdown. The next drive, they go 8 plays and Damian Harris fumbles on, look, I thought it was a crappy call. I mean, I don't know, even on the all 22, it's not clear where he fumbles. To me, he I don't know how you overrule the call in the field, but I'm not really, I'm not one to complain about officiating calls. Before halftime, they do go 9 plays 42 yards getting position for a field goal. Jacoby Myers drops that pass. Yeah. That there was one there was one defender there. I doubt that he scores, but I do think he gets inside, say the 15 yard line at least. And now you're talking about maybe they have a chance. There's plenty of time on. So I think there was like about 50 seconds left when that pass happened. So now you're talking about an opportunity.

"This is the Greg bedard patriots podcast with Nick cabins powered by bet U.S.. All right, so before we get started, I think we'd be remiss if we did not congratulate the Boston Red Sox on getting to the ALCS, both Greg and I are big baseball guys. Congratulations to the Red Sox. Greg, did you think there was any chance this team was gonna make it this deep? Past the Yankees, yes. The rays, I thought it was going to be a long series. I thought it was going to go down to it. But this is a team that before the season I had to dig out my tweet, but I said something, I think it was on opening day. I was like, I think there's I think there's a little something to this team. You know, I was definitely excited about this team. You know, I'm a big Alex core fan. So I think that whatever the patriots, whatever the Red Sox might not have on paper, I think that he can make up for it sort of similar to Belichick. I hold Alice in that sort of level of head coach, you know, I think that what he's done with the Red Sox in a short time two trips World Series title now I think is almost Belichick in. And so I was I was high on them not high, but I was expecting more than a lot of people were. And, you know, look, they stumbled down the stretch in the regular season, but I still thought that they were a good team and I think that I think this is another this series with the rays Nick is another example of Moneyball just doesn't work in the postseason. It works for it's designed by computer nerds over a 162 games. And it works for you, but it's really hard to win, it's really hard to win much in the postseason because it gets shrunken down and the smaller the series, the tougher it is. And I think the numbers go out the window and a guy like Alex Cora and when you pluck players.

"Play that coverage better than anybody at any level of football and Belichick is so good at coaching that up. So I think they're really just an excellent team at developing corner talent. We've known that, right? Yeah, Stefan Gilmore is a good example of a guy that turned into from a good corner to an elite corner. JC Jackson, Malcolm butler, Jon Jones, I now hopefully Jalen mills. Jalen mills reminds me a lot of Logan Ryan. And I think that people are going to sit there and roll their eyes and think that that's not a compliment, but Logan Ryan's been a solid NFL player for a long long time. So he reminds me a lot of that doesn't have the sticky coverage talent that a guy likes to find Gilmore does, but he's able to be in the area enough at a time, right? He's able to be in phase and connected, often enough that he's not getting absolutely burned. And the Patriots can work around guys with those types of limitations, right? They can work around guys that are in the right position more times than not. And they'll figure out how to not get those guys exposed. So I think that that's really a good synopsis of the secondary. The positives that I took away from this tape from Houston were looking at the defensive front 7, there was actually some good standout play from some of these guys in the front. The front 7 was much better in this game than the second there. Let me put it to you that way. Dante Hightower looked like he's on his way back. That was the best that he's looked so far this year. He was active. He was reading things out quickly. He was physical. He was planning to run the way that we are used to seeing Dante Hightower play the run. And if the Patriots get, I don't think that it's not peaked Dante Hightower. You know, he's not. He's not at the peak of his form just yet. But if this is a sign of things to come, that Dante Hightower is going to continue to be a good player for the Patriots and be more of this guy moving forward. And the guy that we saw in the first couple weeks of the season, then that's going to be a really good development for the Patriots defense. Yeah, and we kind of talked about this right where he was away from football for a year and you just naturally got to build back up to it. So it is an encouraging sign to see that coming. Yeah, the other guy silver lining, Christian barmore at an absolute menace in the past rush. He drew two holding penalties. He went right around Houston, Texan center, Justin Britt on a one on one. I think more so than just watching bar more beat guys and his technique and stuff like that. You can tell the scheme that they're running for him in these pass rush packages. You can tell how good the coaches think that he is already by the fact that they're trying to find ways to get him one on ones in the interior in the pass rush. They did it last week against Tampa Bay. They did it this week against Houston. They are purposely trying to get Christian bar more on an island so that he can go to work..

"Is even more horrifying And we have the Montgomery County judge here in Texas, which is near Houston. Who posted on Facebook yesterday, the day before. I'm not sure if you saw it where he right. He wrote out the 2000 Texans that were benefiting from the treatment that they had put in place to have a clinic or set up there to run these mono monoclonal antibody treatment. And it was successful. And this is where the vaccinated and unvaccinated and then now you've got the Democratic leadership in Washington coming in and saying no, no, no. We're going to step in and interfere with the market and create a problem that didn't really exist. And I look, I wrote a letter to the HHS on Monday, lighting them on fire about this and raising this issue up the flagpole and then load the whole We get 24 hours later, they were gonna have a briefing on Friday. We had that briefing today, Mark And I asked twice. I got cut off. And then I got back in Q asking a second time. Hey, how many, Uh, doses do you currently have a supply? How many can be made per month and what's the demand? You tell me the numbers. You show me how there's some massive national shortage that you've got to interfere, and they would never answer the question. Literally, he said. Well, we'll just have to get back to you. The numbers to wait you're stepping in and rationing care. Rationing what Texas can get, and you can't even tell me what the numbers are its political. They started off of saying seven states have 70% of the demand on this stuff and get never mind in January. It'll be 10 different states Mark because we know how this virus works. And yet that's what they're doing. It's political. It's purposeful and people's lives at stake. And they're doing it because they don't want to talk about treatment. Not just this. But after cork wine back when that was more effective. Let me tell you something about, uh Hattrick chloroquine. I've been taking that for months. Have heart disease and asthma. NFL Picks and Predictions Ahead of Week 1

"About the nfl week. One right around the corner where you been doing. Our nfl picks podcast tomorrow. But is there any sort of early liability that you're already having to move numbers a little bit just based off of where the actions coming in. I've seen a number of small road favorites even non conference road favorites which typically red flag. But i'm having trouble talking myself into some of these dogs as a as a senior trader. Is there something you're keeping your eye on there like an eighty twenty split already that you're you're seeing so you don't like the lions and i do to live not not to win outright but san francisco strikes me as that team the forty niners that is going to ruin everyone's survivor contest. Everyone's three-team teaser. They're just it's too easy. I've been gambling for too long and al and you know as as the guy works behind the book bets like those. It's too easy dangerous showing you. I mean you're talking to guys who are considering the texans one mixture of lawrence and three point road. Favorite team was more than fifteen last year in survivor pool. You have to go those routes if you pick the same stuff everybody else that's gonna pick you're never gonna win. Need those good teams at the end of a chance. Someone all so i don't this respect. Respect the texans. But you know i think basically when you go into week one you know what sides are going to need right. We're going to need the lions to beat parleys. We're going to need bears games interesting. I think that we'll we'll see some decent sharp action that's been driven up. They still have the shawn watson we know. Travelers is gonna be good but peyton manning threw how many picks in his rookie season a little rough. So i don't think that's a slam dunk. Our road road favorite. But yeah i mean you know who are gonna need the near the bears against the rams.

What next. that's one hundred dollars off when you use the code. What next i talked to base dot com. I keep thinking about people who are our patients that you're helping at fun texas choice. Who were really close to a cut off point. Maybe they had a procedure scheduled and then they hit up against the threshold beyond which they can't get an abortion and now all of a sudden it's illegal because the new ban went into effect. Are you working with someone like that or many people like that. Do you know how those people are coping. Yeah i mean. I will say the frantic nece that we felt in the last couple of weeks of our clients has been huge and clinics is seeing more patients need increase. The amount of folks they were seeing and so on average we would like our bergen coordinator said sees like six to ten clients a week and she was seeing twenty plus a week in the weeks leading up to september first So much. So that. Monday tuesday she worked with fourteen clients alone of this week And even though like all of us usually do a cut off and set our boundaries of i can only serve so many people because of their work in time it takes Everyone of us just kind of said. Let's let's do what we can How much we can't if we can't. That's absolutely understandable and everyone else was like. No we're giving until we absolutely onto until tuesday night But i mean. I think that the reality is. We've been talking about what's going to happen. We can talk about how to prepare for it but all of us were like we're not gonna entirely know what it's gonna look like until we start doing. The work hosts september or post. Nine one on this is not something i say. Lately many folks we forced to carry their per insisted her many folks will have to do it because they cannot make those drought. They cannot make trump's that cannot do do the long distance unfortunately a and so there is a lot of it is very hard because they have to cope with the fact that they may never be able to make that trip and be forced to carry the pregnancy Firm or take matters into their own hands. I've read this everywhere that the new texas law does not penalize people getting abortions. But when i hear you to listen to describe the obstacles that puts in place it may as well be a penalty. It does feel like that. Yes the lahser. Unnecessarily restrictive unnecessarily over-burdening and so it probably does feel like that. I'm not going to minimize that. I would feel the same way. The reason i keep trying to say that it. That it doesn't penalize client is. Because i want them to hear that organizations like fun taxes choice chains due process from their fund afia center t fund lilith fund west fund the bridge collective clinic access support network these organizations that are doing the grassroots work on the ground. Are there for you like we want to make this journey a little less difficult. You said this laws meant to confuse people. Because the way it's being talked about people think that they will be charged or or somehow put an dragnet because they've obtained an abortion and the reality is that it it puts people like you on the hook but i'm thinking about like the downstream effects and thinking. Well how many clinics will stay open. How many people will go to work at providers or how many people go to work for fun texas choice and groups like it if they could get sued for up to ten thousand dollars i mean. Are you playing out those kinds of scenarios. I think everyone's in playing scenarios. And i think everyone's doing it collectively i think folks are talking and deciding what this means and how this could impact the organization. I think texas choice has been preparing for this for the last several months. I think other organizations have been preparing for this. How do you prepare for the possibility of like a war of attrition like this you know death by a million lawsuits You can't i think you mentally are preparing for the onslaught and you're trying to make sure there's money there to do it and that's why donations and fundraising or so important. And that's why. I encourage everyone to donate to the nine texas worship funds that. I've been talking about nonstop for the last several days because we're on the ground doing the work. "And houston has either. Tyrod taylor a davis mills. That might be my analysis so not guaranteeing. I'm going to jacksonville. I reserved the right to change my mind but man. I don't know i kind of feel. Jacksonville is going to beat the brakes off them. And that's more a commentary on houston than it is comments to the jacksonville. Jaguars you better you bet. Back in the kostas can barclay wrapping up our three days here talking about now. Denver broncos now ken. I'm going to give you the floor here because while you were off gallivanting on pain pills tweeting about everything in sight well not doing the show. I was busy working. I was busy providing sports betting analysis of the teddy bridgewater news in enter. My take was very simple. Cam bridgewater lowers the hypothetical ceiling. That could have been unlocked. Unintended by drew. But i think raises the floor and i think it takes extreme outcomes out of the way for denver in terms of losses and wins. I think a big step for more likely to over their win. Total this year of eight and a half with teddy under center for a bunch of reasons. I gave out last week so might take pretty much out there already. So really want. You'd empty the bucket because while you were out last week. This is the first time or listeners. Viewers left hear your thoughts on teddy being the starting quarterback in denver so win total rivers eight minus one twenty to the over plus one forty four to make the playoffs plus seven hundred win the afc west. Can your thoughts on teddy in the bronx. Yeah i think and for people who listened very early in the show. I think i gave sort of a miniature version of this. We ended up talking about it when we talked about the denver giant's game in week one and how to play denver this season. But i think it applies to a season-long standpoint as well really defensive-minded head coach. I would argue. Probably the most likely to be fired at season's end probably not during the year. But i think it's kind of interesting underperformed a lot in both years teams. It's a quarterback of consequence a franchise quarterback. I think they're going to play a lot of one score games as a result of teddy being named the starter. So i agree with you kind of in terms of the ceiling floor michael jordan argument about like they just become so it seems to me maybe slightly above average would be a good way to describe denver this season and it also consistently slightly above average. Feel like that's also part of the part of the charm of this team and and why we might be able to make money betting on them or against them. Because as i said earlier in the show. They're they're probably gonna find themselves. Small favorite small dogs and a bunch of games. You lie gave us some of the look ahead For some of those sorts of their first five games we can start there so at the giants at the jags home against the jets home against the ravens at the steelers I believe the spread was under three and three of those five games. At least i think it was three and a couple And we'll see where we closes that against the giants i think jacksonville's rating has a tendency to go a lot a large way one way or the other in the first few weeks as we get more information. But if we're gonna play a lot of project to close games then..

You probably more frequently than a lot of people. I like a lot of like the video game streams on there to watch also twice a year. The games done quick marathons which are awesome. You know i'm into this as well as speed running. Some will be like mario sixty four and like thirteen minutes. It's insane watch these things so there are two summer games done. Quick and awesome games done quick twice a year there for doctors without borders. And it's like a seven day. Binge twenty four seven of various people who are like you have to understand like these are people who like. Here's a twenty two year old who has devoted a decade to mastering like super mario the lost levels country to or yeah or like you know negative paper boy for gameboy and like that's all he's done for ten years tan like they are one loser or like man you have. You are really good at paperboard. You're really good. And how yeah just the detail oriented nature of these people are just. It's unbelievable but they all play the game at their best at basically they sort of like twenty four seven so definitely watched that twice a year. If there's a new game that's come out that i know i won't have the time to actually buy play like when the final fantasy seven remake came out There are a couple of streamers that gonna play that man. "Sarah barshop. you're our houston. Texans beat writer. Thanks for coming back on. Espn daily thanks for having me back. So the texans won their game saturday. They beat the cowboys. Twenty two fourteen. We're going to talk more about how the teams looked in a football context and a bed but the most notable fact of the entire proceeding. Sarah is the fact that texans quarterback to shawn did not play was surprising to you at all now. It wasn't because right now. The texans are kind of acting for the most part that he's not really part of this team in terms of him being on a football field in playing in a game and david kelly. When he talks about the quarterbacks he's mostly talking about the other quarterbacks on the roster. I mean they really. Don't talk about shawn watson in football context so he didn't play in the first game against the packers he didn't play against the cowboys and i'd be surprised to see him in the preseason finale against the buccaneers david kelly. Of course the new head. Coach of the texans sarah and yes to shawn watson sat out against the packers. The texans had one that preseason game also for whatever that's worth twenty six to seven but watson and how the team talks about him and his absences. How would you characterize how they do that. It's very much avoiding the topic. And from the very beginning. David kelly if he heard john watson's name really kinda of deflected the question and would say not much has changed. Or there's nothing new with watson even if that wasn't really an applicable answer to the question nothing new on the sean nothing new today on and last week for the first time. He talked about watson more and elaborated on him. Johnson here Again every day. He's here to in works he does. He does what we asked him to do. And you know he's here today but it was never really in a way of okay. He's gonna play in these games.

"This whole i dug it myself i guess that story swirling about you know and so they went out in dug around in any way a section of this housing development including the hanes house had been built on top of an african american cemetery called black hope graveyard. The occupants were mostly former slaves. The cemetery had not been registered so it was pretty likely that the developers didn't know it was there when they started building but they probably found out pretty quickly and kept on building history says that the last burial recorded occurred in that cemetery in one thousand nine hundred thirty okay so it had been decades and decades indeed half a century. After much research. They were able to determine that the remains of those two bodies found in the yard. Belonged to a couple named betty. Charlie thomas married couple that have been buried there and they had died sometime in the nineteen thirty so this could have been one of the very last graves. That was that was dug there. Well the hanes decided to deport their pool project on hold for a while and they reburied the couple where they found them but apparently that wasn't enough it is it appeared as though the hanes said literally quite literally stirred up some ghosts so they they just put them back in our backyard. Put back with where they were. I think they were trying to respect the occupants by re-entering them where they found them all right over the next several months. There were horrifying incidents that occurred strange things that could not be explained from minor things to some pretty major things one night in particular judah athenee discovered. She looked over at her clock her bedside clock and it was glowing and sparking like electrical electrical things jumping out of it. She went to unplug the clock and it wasn't plugged in now. Yeah one night. Sam was working late. Judith was alone and she was taking a shower and she heard the sound of the sliding door open close and then she heard a man's voice. Say what are you doing. She got out of the shower and wrap a towel around herself thinking. It was sam but she got out there and nobody there. Oh i don't like that at all shower time when your home alone is always vulnerable time and i don't imagine that i'm the only one who like prepares for shower time when i'm home alone like if you're away and i'm home alone i i before taking a shower. Obviously all the doors are locked and then all of the potential hiding spaces are checked. Yeah and then. I feel the bathroom with weapons. She does oftentimes i. I will come home and find cat. They were sitting on top of betty. Charlie's graves later during their research. They found out that the day the shoes went missing was betty's birthday so charlie gave them to betty for her birthday. That's pretty sweet. Red is pretty sweet. I mean from beyond the grave. Gene noticed that her plants kept dying and that near her flowerbeds sink holes would appear in the shape of a coffin and she'd fill them in and then she'd come back dare to later and they would be sunk in again. She also noticed some really unusual markings on tree right near the to sink holes. There was an arrow carved in the tree pointing toward the ground and beneath the arrow where two horizontal marks and they had heard from a long term resident that he had made the marks on the trees decades before when his two sisters were buried beneath it. Oh so the arrow just meaning here and then the to slash representing two bodies. Yes which was a common way of marking graves during the civil war. She said she was terrified to be alone in the house and she also recalled an incident. Quote the toilets used to flush on their own as the water went down. I could hear what almost sounded like conversations. You could hear people murmuring to themselves. It was a presence spirit or something. Sure that'll do it. Gene wanted to leave. But ben said he was going to stay and fight. I paid for this house. This is my house. Screenshot and i'm like i did go back and find out how the highlights on the website true. It should be right after that. The possession. Tom brady throws a stupid pick. It's our twenty nine so like if the patriots added just play like a bunch of assholes would've won the game easily but they just turned it over and terrible times on so lucky killed drives and just let the texans hang around and actually take a pretty good lead right so instead of like putting the game way. They're like the the each side of the half score. A couple points in the middle there and being up by a couple of scores because they went into the halftime ten three could been thirteen three and then like score. Get on the second half now. Europe by t. scores instead picked off. Texans start at the patriots eleven. I think it was like two plays later. Under johnson and a touchdown so now it's game ten ten good about themselves but then brady in true brady. Fashion gets the ball back in storms. Right down the field again in like fuck you mode. This is where he hits. J stokes to get inside the ten yard line one yard bomb. Yeah that was that was j j stokes snapdragon siding. Yeah of the game. It's going into brady sack on third down the last player the third quarter so fourth quarter starts viteri hitting a short field goal which actually makes so off the schneide again kind of an hour in the fourth quarter and this is where ships kinda of goes a little wild because it's ten ten at the end of the third in this game ends twenty. Three twenty in overtime left in overtime right so and vegetarian just kicked a field goal to make it thirteen ten. Just this quarter. You know you don't need to see. Yeah that's what i'm saying. So skip to the fourth quarter. We'll talk you through all of it you should. We should mark what time that starts so does get the video started.
