"They've interacted. I wonder how much that matters. It may not matter at all. It may be zero. It may be that it doesn't matter at all. But it's just sometimes relationships matter in the NBA. And there's some connections between the Lakers and the hornets. There are already kind of built in that makes me feel like there could be a trade to be had there. So there's less flexibility there. If they only want one first, or no first at all, Trevor, I might say yes. Without even blinking an eye, anything more than a first, I'd probably say no, but yeah, I'm just curious to see what they would really want to return if it's just rawson a second or rust in a future, maybe protected first round pick, then I see no problem with that personally. Mister B Lloyd, if the hornets deal went through it, would you then use the taxpayer mid level on auto Porter junior sent plumlee THT none for Brogdon? If that's on the table, it's a yes. If you went with the Gordon Hayward package personally, my number one option changes from audit reporters junior to gay paying the second. Because then I feel a little bit more comfortable on my wing depth and then I go get gay pain the second to help fill out more of your guard room there. But I do understand autoport junior still being populous and honestly he's probably number two instead of being number one. I might shift it to mo bamba if that's the deal that you do. Okay. But I don't know number one for sure if he will be available or not. The magic have to renounce his rights. That's the rumor that they're going to, but hasn't happened yet. "If you're going to do the big three model, you've got to have again three players who fit, who complement each other. I do think Kyrie LeBron AD, it fits better. But is it the perfect fit? Probably not. But then again, if you're the Lakers, let's look at this way. If you're the Lakers and you have the ability, west drew blood, thanks for the super chat. And you have the ability to trade Russell Westbrook to two different places to get two different outcomes. You have one opportunity to trade Russ and get Gordon Hayward and Terry Rozier. That's one option. Option two is you can trade Rus, Gordon Hayward and Terry Rozier or whatever it is goes to the nets and you get Kyrie. And your cost is the same. Both of them you have to include your future first or whatever. Whatever that is, whether it's two first, one first, the cost is the same. What outcome do you prefer? I'm taking I'm taking a more depth. I'm taking Gordon and Terry and really quickly because the chat's talking about bronze Kyrie and Kevin Love, wade LeBron and Bosch. Those are completely different than the situation of light because of being Anthony Davis in his prime still. Like Bosch, he took a significantly less role and LeBron was also 28 ways in Miami and early 30s. When he was in Cleveland, LeBron could bear more of that load, ideally, LeBron shouldn't be like the number one option on a team with Anthony Davis. And I don't think you want AD to be the third option on your team. So it's completely different. But back to the question, just get more depth, honestly, like Kyrie Irving again is a fantastic player. But you get more flexibility and again, Gordon Hayward would have two more years left. I think for it's actually where it could be what Gordon Uber and maybe like somebody else to fill it in. It would be their Gordon Hayward and Kelly ubre or you've got some options. So let's say you do Hayward a new brake. Uber race expiring. Heyward is a two year deal. So you get cap flexibility down the road as well, whereas Kyrie, you would get them for this year, this upcoming year, and then you would have the extension kick in..

"Carmela was the more gifted overall score at the beginning, right? Carmelo had the natural, that was how they came into the league and how they were viewed. Carmela was the score LeBron was the orchestrator who could also score. And LeBron just became a dominant scorer who also, you know, it was this phenomenal point forward type. And I always thought if Carmelo would just dedicate himself to play making a little bit more. And it was just not the way he's made up. And I criticized him for it at times and I still kind of think at times that Carmelo could have become a better assist guy a better playmaker in the course of his career and it would have led to more success with some of his teams. But some guys just aren't built that way. And maybe Tatum and brown like they're great at what they're great at. Tatum's got this incredible all around offensive repertoire. Jalen brown's a really good score and a shooter and can take on the top defensive assignments and they're both switchable and they're athletic. They've got all these other things going for them. They may or may not ever grow into great playmakers. So it's incumbent upon the team, and you know, I've said this before, too. I've gone through that same list. The had Isaiah Thomas. The head Kyrie Irving, the Terry Rozier, even once upon a time, the head Gordon Hayward, who will not a point guard was a great playmaking forward and a guy who could get a team organized and just create for teammates. They just don't have playmaking. And that's on the front office. That's on Danny ainge for over the course of his last couple of years there for the guys he lost and the guys that he couldn't acquire. That's on Brad Stevens now. And the playmaking stuff, like as I look at the roster, like Brad Stevens did some pretty smart things in the off season. Sure. Moving off Kemba Walker for Al Horford when you consider it, they're better off for that. Like Al Horford, while he struggled with his shot his own is given what we've seen from Kemba like Al's a better fit for the Celtics team than Kemba would have been in hindsight. Let it govern fournier walk. I thought that was a bad idea at the time, even though fournier keeps coming in and killing the Celtics every time he plays against them..

"It's good. They took them away from the Celtics here, but to hear you may talk about that experience. The way they misused him as he said in the preseason, or if it I think called it challenging when he returned here to Boston and I know it's just bits and pieces of kind of shade cast on that experience, but Richardson was complaining about the locker room and just some of the interactions there. Like we talk about how weird things have been around the Celtics over the last couple of years. Billy's had its fair share of wackiness on the inside too. And Richardson Horford were two guys who didn't have a great experience there. And you know, I guess if it's all expand, people follow in Boston. Soon we have a better time here despite all the crap that comes up here too inside the team. So there is a great return to that in 2020. You would have been able to sign rosea. It is interesting to think about where they'd be right now if they just brought back their share that year. We've done segments on that. We had debates about that and it was kind of contentious at the time and now looking back on it seeing what happened with Kemba this week in the last year or so here. There's really no question like the best team possible would have been roger from the back up to 2019. I guess it just feels totally. Everyone has to remember Terry Rozier shot 27% that year. I know how good he is now. I know, but that's the point. Nobody would have seen what you saw from Rozier. He looked unplayable. He was he was the worst playable? No. Rosea and his bag from the horn, it's still here in his last year in Boston was the worst player on that team. He was awful. Don't make me watch. You couldn't wait to get him out. He was awful. And the style that he played and that he was one of those guys who wanted the ball more and hell I think, yeah, so that's the thing. He was thinking he would clash a little bit more with Tatum and Brown and smart than he would have if he was able to he was kind of allowed to do more of what he wanted to do in Charlotte. So I think it's kind of hard to compare Charlotte Rozier to Boston her because he would have had a completely different role here. He probably would have been unhappy to start her here. But he would have been started but he would have been like the distant third wheel starter based on everyone's inclination on how jaylen Brown and Jason Tatum were eventually going to be. Now, whether that's right or wrong is remains to be seen..

"He doesn't anymore and by the way. I love it. I think this rule change has been beneficial to the nba. You don't have that same bullshit. Getting called where guys you know. My surprise team howard is my charlotte hornets. I know buzz fans you hate me. You ratio me all that but the charlotte hornets. Bandwagon is filling up and i am driving it. This team is not only entertaining which we touched on earlier in the show but they are really good right now they have six players averaging in double figures. And that is without terry rozier. As part of the rotation of the moment because his out of the lineup. When they're fully healthy they are explosive in that backward. We know about lamelo ball terry. Rozier has played great and has a couple of seasons in charlotte but miles. Bridges is a straight stud to the first three games. He had thirty plus points. This guy is the real deal. Lamelo start playing uptempo. It's as good team has any in transition this league. I mean i'm not gonna put them raising banner number one down there in charlotte at this point but this is a playoff team and when they get into the playoffs based on some of the improvements. I think we're going to see this season. They're going to be a really tough out. I would not want to play charlotte in the postseason with that group. Now listen we're gonna wear out our hornets love in Week one here but let new. The hornets are blast miles. Bridges is a huge part of that. He's crazy. Athletic is not just in the open court like he. He was just attacking the couple games off watched. He's just attacking guys off the dribble to. He's got a tremendous lifted. The basket his three point shots going. And i thought that was probably the end for him in this league and especially you know at his his age. You don't necessarily get other another shot. The hornets tired him. It was looked looked at as a north carolina. Thing michael jordan taking care of somebody in the tar heel family and mitch in his crew have done a really nice job putting this team together. "He doesn't really miss a lot of time they're just not very good when he's on the floor even when wrestles russell westbrook was there so for them to of get the w. there was little impressive. And they. they have more depth. Now and i just i like a lot of the pieces on that roster but for you of the bulls hornets wizards which is which is like the real team. Here chris man. I think you actually kind of gave the answer already when one team that they clearly look charlotte. I mean that keep in mind. It's fine. But i think it was. I think it's a kind of an obvious answer which that's fine you know. Welcome to the show hornets i. It seems like they're real It's early you know. And some of their games have been tight. I think they've they've had one point win over indiana they did pull away from the nets really nicely yesterday. But they're doing this without terry rozier year which is nice Which actually kind of begs the question a little bit. I mean he was very very good for them last year but I don't know like when he gets back. The distribution of the ball is a little bit different when he's running the show as opposed to win. It's just lamelo or when have schmidt out there it's just a little bit of a different fields not that rhodesia's hogging the ball or anything like that. But he's a big part of the team. It's just a couple of games so it doesn't you know it's not the the rest of the season for them but it's just interesting to think about some of it in the way they look to have him in that position when he gets back. But anyway i like about him is just the pace obviously. It's a team that really bears down on you little bit at times with all the cutting that they do not a massive kelly oubre fan but on this team he does kinda fit that role very well just another like really athletic guy than kinda get up and down the floor for the they play who can knock down at three every now and then and the fact that we. I think we talked about it a little bit on the last pockets to the fact that hayward is there this is a team that was playoff ready last year. I think if they were at full strength they weren't at full strength. They kind of play themselves on no spot with all their injuries where they had to kinda play literally ran a plan situation. Didn't have that experience as early. And now i still don't know that they have experienced but i don't know that they need. I think they're going to be a lot more talented than some of the teams. They play which will make really fun basketball. You hope that they don't get to full on themselves to quickly But they'd have a lot of physical and athletic advantages on a lot of the teams are going to play. You know god forbid their shots fall at a certain rate because it's going to be hard to beat them. I love the hornets Love everything about them. The terry rozier point is really smart with to make their fourth in pace their fourth and offense their fourth in assist rate. A lot of these guys were around last season when they think they led the league in assists last year..
