I have ever been in my twenty years of entertainment when you look at what the allegations are about. It was given by an unnamed source. my thing is you know. It's funny because i believe you should to women. You should always believe women. So i asked my wife. My wife said well if she hasn't made a statement. Why would you and i said you know what i'm listening to her now. This is what happens when a person is trying to protect their job as opposed protecting assist. Who actually came to his defense. Which terrier than inside of the do now look. You could easily say that. Wasn't you experience in. Gt what you can say is. That doesn't mean it wasn't gabrielle's experience. In fact you could have copy and paste gabrielle. Said damn near word for word. Just change all the male pronouns the female pronouns and keep it moving you literally said exactly what she said about you on tv. But you're not gonna do that because you don't want to mess up. Future checkoff. future opportunities with nbc production company behind gt. Who knows it just trying to protect your interest and undermine gabrielle's is obvious but once again don't expect you from other people if that's how terry moved on him now gabrielle replied. -tarian tweeted out true telling wanting changing having multiple witnesses who bravely came forward to let everyone know i didn't lie are exaggerate really exposes those who enthusiastically or throw you under the bus forgetting quickly. Is you from other people what other people do have nothing to do what you don't take offence. Don't take personal because what other people say about you have everything to do with them and nothing to do what you and terry proved that when he tweeted out. I'm a hog. You're a chicken just because you gave me eggs don't mean oh you. Baking ancient flint michigan proverb. That makes zero sense. Okay because there's never been a hog in the history of life who has offered up making all right hogs get slaughtered king. And that's exactly what is happening to all your goodwill that you have built up for the past couple of years terry By coming out and telling your story that was honest moment but now that's getting slotted. Okay then terry doubled down and tweeted out. There's only one woman on earth. I have to please and this is why he's getting donkey today. There's only one woman on earth. I have the please. Her name is rebecca. That's his wife. Not my mother. My sister my daughters are co workers. I will let their husbands boyfriends partners. Take care of them. Rebecca gives me wings. No my brother. That's ninety king. That's not how any of this works. now. I'm not going to judge you based on how you choose to live your life What women you choose the please. But i'm lying. I am judging you okay. I don't know the relationship between you your mother. Your sister co workers that i can over stand because he was relationships with their families are complicated. So i'm not mad at that. Okay i understand that situation which you dot is king. Come on man. What father does not want to please their daughters. All right my job as the father is to protect and provide for my wife and daughters period. You future same way envy absolutely. Yes your daughter may have a husband or boyfriend partner but there is nothing like the love of daddy all right with saying a daddy a son's first hero a daughters i love. That's what we ought to our daughters. Her father is that what you're mendez. Ability to influence the lives of their daughters either positively or negatively how father treats his daughter was shape views. Yourself and how she expects to be treated by other men for the rest of her life. So i hope since you don't care about pleasing your daughters. I hope she expects more from the men she chooses to be with. Okay now i don't have anything more to say about this. Because i feel like a woman in particular a black woman should be speaking to you in on the real a woman who i love who are cherish who. I will always have her back right or wrong. Amanda seals sum this up perfectly. It is so easy to support black women. It is so easy it can be done. So so when you see examples of someone giving their energy to to be obstructive. You wonder why they would make that choice. Yeah why is not instilled in him to protect this woman. She protected him when he was in another adverse situation. She quit her voice out there. And i think i speak for a lot of sisters. Say it's part of the bigger conversation of black women earnestly wanting the support from our brothers when we are speaking out and speaking up and they really should just be a code because so many sisters feel like so often. We're on code and our brothers aren't seeing this scenario. Play out in a different way. Because in hollywood black women really are not regarded. Willie would have just been so much more uplifting. Please give terry crews the biggest all right. We'll take you for today..

Terry Crews responds to backlash over 'Black supremacy' tweet
"Terry. Crews tweet it out to feeding white supremacy without why people creates black supremacy. Equality is the two legged or not. We are all in this together so naturally I happen to see that as soon as he posted it and everybody went in I, knew that was gonNA happen immediately, because it just doesn't seem to make much sense, does it i? Didn't I still don't even what he was trying to say and then once. Twice and don't get it I I. Keep it moving I'm my got. I don't even understand what he was trying to say. Yeah, don't understand he. Said I love you as as a friend brother Terry, but I disagree with you one hundred percent, no such thing as black supremacy that is a tactic that racist whites use to counteract our rebellion to their horrific treatment of us. It's called gas lighting. Black Pride is an anti White Terry crews responded. I agree I'm not discussing white people here. There are gatekeepers of blackness within our own community who decide, but who's black, and who's not I have often been called out for not being black enough. How can that be and then? Tyler James said. That China call you out Terry crews. You know us all love always, but we're rightfully angry right now and fed up with anyone that with our cause, wholeheartedly I don't WanNa. See that and as you pointed your way or diverted from the cause and Terry crews responded I understand Tyler I was not saying black supremacy exists because it doesn't I am saying if both black and whites don't continue to work together. Bad attitudes and resentments can create A. Self righteousness that's off then he goes on to say any black person who caused me. A Kuhn or an uncle time for promoting equality is a black supremacist because they have determined, who's black and who is not?
"C. Safeway or yes we can is a rallying cry for justice freedom and dignity that was born from the heart and mind of civil rights revolutionary. Dolores wet the chant of Si Se. Puede his been taken up by many movements. From Barack Obama's two thousand eight presidential campaign to the fight for climate justice to the continued struggle for workers rights to Spain's anti austerity campaigns of 2019. Martin Luther King Junior said that the arc of the moral universe is long but it bends towards justice we all know that it only bends towards justice because of individuals willing to put themselves on the front lines of the Civil Rights Struggle Laura Sweater who turned ninety on April tenth. Twenty twenty has never left the front lines. She's a force of nature that has transformed the lives of those who grow and harvest the food that sustains each of us creating the phone welcome movement with Cesar Chavez she is the mother of the modern labor movement also came up with the idea that consumers have the power to shape and push industries like great growers to improve farm worker conditions. She then that. Labor negotiations to memorialize will can benefit in the nation's first of their kind collective bargaining agreements. Deloris is a fearless and incredibly effective advocate legislation. She championed the landmark building nineteen sixty to allow people to take the California driver's examination in Spanish. And and she's never stopped last year. She helped enact leads to create California's Fund for safe and affordable drinking water Quetta who describes himself as a born again feminists consciously incorporated feminism into her fight for workers rights and push Gloria Steinem and the one thousand nine hundred sixty s to expand the feminist movement to include issues of race thereby helping make feminism and Movement for all women not just white women from the beginning. Dolores wet has also been an environmental champion fighting to protect workers from harmful pesticides sanding shoulder to shoulder with native Americans at Standing Rock and picking up litter after every rally she led. I Talk About a fiftieth anniversary with my hero and living legend Dolores Wetter Kelly. Working Fourteen hour days with Heff Foundation to make sure farmwork has have access to protective equipment food and benefits during this pandemic. And if you thought you knew everything about Delores also talk about why she loves burning man. Dolores where are you right now all right now? I'm in the belly of the beast. I'm in Bakersfield California Bakersfield and all of Kern county. You are going through really rough times right now. Dolores is a lot of people that have been laid off. I think it's over a thousand oil workers that have been laid off. One of the company is completely. Shut Down Lager. People EARN EMPLOYEES CIVILLY TRAGIC. But we know at the same time. And that's why we see that our air is a little cleaner a usually here in Kern county. We are women the worst areas of pollution for air pollution in the country. And we know that that air pollution really affects not only the physical health especially if the children but also the mental health of children. Here we have Not only to freeways that can make your highway ninety nine and highway five of but then we have all of the pollution that comes from the Agricultural Industry Caesar industrial growers that have not really converted their tractors They're so easy in a lot of diesel. It's a big struggle and when you try to bring to the attention they consider this to be an attack instead of thinking. Okay what do we have to do to make them more economically friendly jobs for people so these are the challenges that we have ahead of us as we try to convert all of the fossil fuel industries into industries. That are more friendly for everybody. So deloris in the late fifties and sixties when you have founding the farmworker movement and and really bringing those issues to the full when whether environmental issues like drinking water and air quality and pesticide runoff. How did those issues fest? Come to your attention right at the beginning at the very beginning you know. I grew up in Stockton California which is also like a cultural area. I was in a field in. I see this what I thought was fog rolling in but I thought how can you have fog in the summertime? Well it was a pesticide residue. That was rolling in. That was one of the first things that farmer who's complained about about the effects of Pesticides. And so we had so many cases of pesticide poisonings. Sometimes Terry crews like thirty. Forty people would been poisoned at the same time. How can this happen? Slow regard for the health farm workers so one of the first contracts that I signed a day. Employers tell exactly how many pesticides they were going to spray and where they were going to be spread out and then we passed legislation to make sure that the appeals are posted of when they sprayed some of these dangerous pesticides and then we work very very hard to get some of these dangerous pesticides restricted and banned forever and unfortunately a lot of pesticides we had because like Didi they were then shipped to Mexico to Latin American countries. And so here but we had all of these farmers could children that. Were being bored with these horrible deformities being born without arms without legs so horrific here you had children in Mexico and parts of Latin America. That were having exactly the same type of affection disabilities that were coming from pesticides

Dedicated To Two Women
"How do you fall in love again after loss? How do you deal with the complicated conflicting emotions that come from grieving one person and also opening in yourself up to loving someone else? That's what Brendan help explores in his essay. It's called dedicated to women. Only one of them alive. It's red by Terry. Crews he stars in Brooklyn Nine Nine on NBC. My wife is about to die as I leave. The hospice is to pick up our daughter at school. I tell cures I love her. She is ball's gaunt Johnson slipping in and out of consciousness. It takes a lot of effort for her to speak. I love you. I tell her as she surfaces briefly and Crooks I love you too. It's the last thing she will ever say to me. I take our seven year old daughter row in from school to the hospice. For brief visit and later that night I go back alone and sit by Kirsten's bed with her parents and sister Sherston is unconscious rasping and moaning with every breath Sometimes there's a long pause between her breasts and though it has become clear to me that prayer is ineffective each time. This long pause happens happens. I just pray that she's dead because I can't stand for her to be alive like this I fall asleep holding her hand and I wake up at one in the morning. I tell Kirsten's family. I have to leave because Kirstin and I agreed in advance that it was important for me to be with Rohan at bedtime in the morning joining I kissed Kirstin. Kabye have five hours later. It is Kirsten parents and sister who are with her singing as she dies and not mean I know I did what Kistin wanted but still we were together for fourteen years. I wish I'd been there two weeks later. I have a dream Kirstin ruin and I are in the same mall where Kirstin it. I went walking to try to get her. Contractions restarted on the frigid frigid January day. When Roy was born as a bookstore on a third floor and Kerstin and I take escalators? All the way up suddenly I realized I don't know where our daughter

"Because there's a fucking kids every fucking I am too. Don't get me don't get it twisted. Oh you got beat for my daughter to the day I die she dies. That's it. My wife knows everybody. The white man credit auditory night on the place you know. What when you say you're going to kind of go where where was that? I'm not going to go. You tell me was that if you are with a guy and he can't do this shit that you're calling me for them while the you with that Negro in well you know that's not fair. That is fair with not look. I can't Oh ooh I wouldn't wanNA change breaks. You know what I'm saying. That's where I'm at right. Would in my daughter hit me talk about Oh daddy thirty. My brakes are fucked up. Yes first of all. Where's your husband he can't do it? Ain't got the money. Well I was good like I wouldn't want to take it to a professional breaks this morning. We go. I'm just saying my daddy. I could tell I I tell him that something is messed up. I don't give a fuck. If I've been married for twenty years he would never be like. Where's your negative do that? She would be like Oh shit. Are you in distress and come ask questions do you. I have a whole different but my question is this so so even with the husband. You're going to your dad. I and not your husband depending on what it is held without husband. Do you got me. Yeah you're not coming. Yeah girlfriends just want to buy a computer. I was with her and I was like. Yeah you should get at this one is the most ram it up. Okay cool I go to sit down for a minute. I'm on twitter. Whatever over on the phone? Yeah but was like what's going on. She had called her to ask her about the computer. Her dead ninety nine and a half years old book he know about computers. Tommy as a computer brings probably moving rocks under the fucking spend. Yeah thank you the fuck. You're doing Louis was hot. She had me fucked up so very did away over did she buy. I don't even remember to be walked pissed trial over it like efforts. That's my wife was and I had I had a Turkish garnish. It like look man Lou first of all you asked me for your brother your cousin your cousin your cousin. How's Your Dad Nick Highway? You've got to live with burqas thinking no I know exactly. If it's shit the I know carshield. I know electronics certain things. I know you know what I'm saying. If you ask me. I am the Authority Tar. You'll never go to nobody else. You know what I'm saying Eh is why would you got my Larry's this video. Everything she made had me about the Sophie's face was leary's for me all. I'm saying karate before you ask me or tell me she either right so this was a shanty calling me when you need me some shifts that you can't fix. Why would I call you to fix some shade? 'cause my daddy can do it anyways. Go ahead Oh then. You'll man a sucker though. Well big suckers a AH can you get your data come over here pictures toilet. Don't get four hell all all right this article. Fuck me up. So this was on Ryan. Andrew Langdon DOT wordpress dot com and the articles entitled. Today I'll learn not everyone has an internal monologue and it has ruined my day. I know your wife saw so hello everybody here. Not Internal Monologue. Is I assume narration inside your head. Kind of yeah like before I go turn the TV on. I might think Oh. Oh cheers on. I need to go try and get up and go do it. Apparently there are people in the world that do not do that. That doesn't even exist. They don't have a inside their brain. There are no sentences that they can hear. You know what I'm saying. It's it's hard to explain but you know what I'm saying. Go ahead yeah so I had to. Yes Naomi saw your article and she brought into my attention. She says she does both right. So so So I was like I was like well. How do you do both like you know? So she was like all right so it just depends on how like say for instance she has to. She has to use her imagination. She can't hear it in her his that makes sense but if it's something like very clear as day she can she can sit in her head right like so. Let's say like like our Sun Right. I was like Yo what you think. What do you think dominates going to look like when he gets here? She can't say that in her head because she don't know what dumplings look. Looks like but now dominance here now she'd be like Oh looks like this doesn't it ended up but just before he using she has to have a living example of what it is and for for her to have an internal model in her head. When she's imagining what he looks like? She couldn't say yea like hey he might look like yes. You can do that but it. But now that he's here seeking like Oh. He looks like this that I should say and then repeat it to me but you know what's even more fucked up about. There's some people don't have any of them. They see pictures like they don't win. They're thinking about something that's happening or about to happen. There's there's no dialogue or monologue in their head they just see images like like if the example I was giving you. They wouldn't think in in their head. Oh I need to go on the TV on because cheers is on. They see cheers and that triggers. Okay get up go. Wow that's weird. It is super weird and and a friend of mine had post this on facebook and she was just like how the fuck do other people function in the world. Yes because it's not to be respectful but I'm just saying like it's just weird to think that you never have active thoughts and we were talking about wonder years like there's a narration that happens on that show and sometimes narration. They might play into a part where it's like okay in this moment. This is what he's thinking. These people thought that that was just made up for television. They didn't know that people actually have this going on. So it's crazy like watching. You would be weird for someone like that. Watching the show. Only watching me would be weird in general. I don't really do that much. Yes yes yeah. They thought that that was just made up for the show interesting. So so all right. So I'm I'm just trying to wrap. My brain is hard man so so because sometimes I guess I do both because sometimes let's say like the House or whatever and I may have forgotten about something POPs into my head and my old shag. I do that right but I consistently have. Yeah no no no talking. You know what I'm saying like Dan. We're sometimes it especially in a lot of people sometimes actually comes out. I I've told you one of my biggest pet peeves when I'm somewhere and someone walks up next talking to themselves. I don't know why it infuriates. I'm not justifying defying. It's fucking studio work because I'm always like who the fuck you're talking to. There's nobody here you're not talking me. There's technology I could be talking to somebody about got your partner microcomputers. nope there's talking. May I can't believe things ten and in their last week they were gonNA. Who the fuck are you talking to? My mother fell I. It could be that. They don't have the ability to do talking to themselves nicer to people. Maybe they should go get some help. Maybe we got now now. I did read their articles because I saw your tweet about his out. Yeah I was talking to my wife about it to all because I thought it was fascinating. It's crazy yeah. I thought everybody everybody talks about themselves. I did too but then I saw I was like Oh so you can't hear yourself because that's what I got from it. When I read is that they do Kinda on a go back and forth about decisions? They just don't hear their voice right. It turns out. I have quite a few friends. That don't have an internal monologue and I just and they were like you hear your voice in your head and they think that we're the ones that are fucked up. Yeah it's crazy and then other people who speak different languages some times they'll be like do you hear it in English or Spanish. One hundred percents in here in their native tongue right. Yes it does. It does appear like because I always ask other bilingual pizzas. Yeah I always ask other other bilingual people like when somebody speaks to you in Spanish. Do you automatically process in Spanish like I. Don't I have to hear it in Spanish and in my head translated to English and then translated back to Spanish for me to be able to regurgitate it to. You can wake so right. Yeah so for me like anytime I like. If you ask me to translate this sentence I have to translate that Shit in my head before it could come out You know what I'm saying is coach voice though I hear that voice So you can hear yourself speak Spanish. Oh yeah one hundred percent I have to that because it's like I correct correct muzzle or. I tried to correct myself as much as possible for for comes out in my mouth. You know what I'm saying But for people Because I used to work out a store where it was Spanish or Korean people and I asked a lot of Koreans that were born in Korea. Like how you process and they say anything they do. They do it in Korean and translate to English some people it just happens automatically. And I'm like I am not one of those people like I have to translate everything. Be What about you. You don't know. Oh Yeah Yeah. Every every is always always eats like he. Now it's always it's always going to know you hear beats. Yeah you can do so you can hear the beep before you make it. Yeah like if I hear like a sample some if I hear like a sample something about how you got an interesting thought that that was part of Gog native eight of brain like. I've always been like that as a kid even though I'm not a beat maker I'm not a producer anything sometimes I'll hear something like Oh shit somebody could do something great. I'll I'll be saying I'm a rapper. You know what I'm saying so you gotta the People's beat Book to interesting. Yeah all right. Well I got two things I think one of be quicken one of the interesting. I got here you guys from here. which are you guys familiar with? Ah Jump ahead and I don't finish my bird So I wanna hear what you have to say about this. Are you guys familiar with. Ah Joey Salads. Oh fuck that guy. Did you see what he tweet it so I'm not..

The way that his public apology was structured was like I want to remain neutral with my co workers. When he was like? That's not the point. You should stand with your co workers that support you but yeah he's just being ahead of us I feel like you know what does that that that phrase called sheeps over will is or clothing. I don't know what the fuck that thing's called but basically when sheep's clothing yes I feel like I kind of seeing him for who he is now and the fact that he will take a situation run with it whereas don't get me wrong doing what he did initially was. I guess hard for him to do not hitting the producer punching him or being violent responding with violence initially But I feel like he did Kinda take that to further his own not agenda but like his career like you know he he was the good guy because of that and you know he got multiple speaking platforms and opportunities because of that but then to only turnaround and then kind of shit on her for being you know booted out of something due to raise. It's like my Nigga. You are a fucking like weak link but Yep Damn Terry Yep yes so What that sparked this whole thing was he said on the today show that I can't speak processes because I'm not a woman but I can speak on behalf of any racism comments ensuring that was never my experience in fact it was the most diverse place I've ever been in my twenty years of entertainment pitch? Damn I'm trying to find the tweet. Sweet they really got him and I got I found it. Oh yeah he said there's only there's only one woman Irv I have to please. Her name is Rebecca has his wife not my mother not my sister. Not My daughter's CO workers. I will let their husbands slash boyfriends last partners. Take care of them. Rebecca give me wings. Thanks basically fuck my daughters if they need something it's been real. That was a lot of people jumped on him about the daughters. Things like Bro like going outages colleges. Here let's get like that when you say it said what you're going to go and I think late last week Nick made a comment off air. Whatever erotic correct them it's all there and it was? It was regarding marriage right and like kind of like what the Bible says like as a husband. What what what your responsibility is it it is you are supposed to forsake everybody else? Except for your wife. So it's supposed to be you and your wife so what I wanted to read fucking flag flag so I want to go back to what I said. daughters and boyfriends Because he said in his tweet boyfriends he said husbands but he also said Ed boyfriends boyfriends is if you WANNA go with the religious aspect the whole husband whatever whatever. The boyfriend is completely different. I was pardoned. I agree I disagree with that but I'm just gonNA attack the boyfriend because I think that's a little bit easier because people tend to stay out of the husband wife thing you you can't let you some dooby out here in both situations but come on. Bro You lender your boyfriend does Lavonia daughter. Wait what Who knows what is that? What you're taking once again is optional? Like I'll take take it. He didn't say anything about getting beaten. Pleased by getting some other shit. But I'm saying like in a regular situation situation. What moment is cool? We're getting beat on pleased by it. I mean he's not gonNA come to his daughter he didn't say that that's what I mean. Every body they did apply it. How did he imply that? If my girl is getting beaten only have allegiance to respect. I think he's I think he's using the word please in a weird connotation okay like I think he means like like this is the only woman that I have to answer to ensure that she's happy at all times even your children they don't you know them to make sure they're happy at all times because they're not going to be happy. When you buy a bra you came on with them? Bad Ass grades go scituate situation down. You can't watch TV now. Bre I'm not what you want at one. I'm not really with getting either. That she just completely flipped. And I'm not really what you might on that either. That's cool so so in marriage. Are you not supposed to put your partner your your husband or wife like above everything else. I'm not saying that either. What I'm saying is abandoned? The other people in your like. Because that's how you took that's no. I didn't take it as him abandoning his kids but at the ended a day like also postal take care of my wife. First and foremost. I'm going to be our secondary today. I'll be honest with you. Had My dad said something like that about my mom but like with me in that context I would feel away. I'm so fucking. Sorry now. What the hell are retain? Yes do. uh-huh go back You said you were Philip away. About what again. If my dad had said that about like in context of my mother but me being a daughter I fuel tweet again. So you saying what what Terry crews that he said that said he said there's only one woman earth I have to please. Her name is Rebecca his wife. It's not my mother not my sister. Not My daughter's or co workers. I would let their husbands slash boyfriend slash partners. Take care of them. Rebecca give me wings. Now you got me so so you're using you will feel your father said I as a child or just now eighty now now so please you. It's your job to help me when I'm booking Nina negative but probably the people were saying the question I was asking because I after that tweet came out. That's why as Y'all in the room I was I. I thought the child comes before you do anything for your kids and then rob was like Nah. Technically your wife is above or your partner in life. Is Everything. Okay so if you have a wife and your kid or hanging off a cliff. That's what I was thinking. Which one which one are you going to grab your grabbed you? Ah I got more but one aren't GonNa hold the tree branches. You can pull your ass back up to what's GonNa lead uh-huh what's your legs. That's what I was thinking too. Because that's what broke. Your legs broke down. I'm not technically supposed to the wife over the child. You're GonNa let the Child Die. But we'll put the white back into the live. The while she seems understand that logic but stronger so logic is the logic is and this was telling. Nick is that like we vow for lifetime together today together. I'm I'm not gonna Dow. My daughter is going to make that vow with someone else at some point in her life. So and then that's the whole thing thing of marriage like you have to let the child goal and you give them away like I went one day a month. There's my daughter decide to get married. I have two technically quote unquote. Give her away so like say if you get married father supposed to technically give more friends go through boyfriends that tweet to me. It sounds very like absolute for him to say. I don't feel like I have to ever please you ever again like that's that's what I take it as it. It's like I only you give a fuck about what my wife thinks. Technically doesn't I mean he wants once you raise that China and to me I'm saying You have me fucked up. I understand that I had my fucking toilet broke and my husband does not like like I don't know like to me you're right at my dad for everything but your husband or you're going to have to understand what your husband or your boyfriend at the time don't know how to fix the toilet my thing is you call your dad and he say that's up. Dan will take care of this. You know what it's not even that I would want my my husband husband and my father to be in that together literally fixing it so that way maybe you know. I don't have to go to the next time. But first offense you you get over here to. My mother is not required to fix you. Know if you'll mankind Dan Kennedy with us. You call somebody for Hill Nacho father now if you live by yourself now now you're in the process of purchasing a home and all of that you live by yourself right and you don't have a man you don't have a significant other you don't have. Let's say you're you're brother's out of town or this that and the third right okay. I understand you calling your father. My brother's married so I guess that would fall under the same. Bring not I is losing. Yeah you're not. You're not like brother when you the other and he no he got me now. You have a significant other I. Well you're you're there. That's your top priority. I what I'm saying like as matter works I I understand being the top priority. I'm just saying yes I do. I'm not saying that what what I come before my brother's wife what I'm saying is if I ask him for something and he says it's not my job to please you and he's just watching fucking football or whatever the fuck you got me fucked up. Sophie I'm sorry I wish my sister Mr One call me talking about. Hey I can't work the TV remote. You're required to come please me get the fuck Outta here done. y'All know address first of all that stupid fucking TV remote. I'm just like I can't work the TV remote. I get you I turn on me if I literally am on the side of the road because two of my fucking tires blow out or whatever and my brother is literally at home. Chilling like like my My my sister-in-law does a lot of like events or whatever so she don't be you know she'd be at work whatever so he's not doing anything for her he's not you know I'm not. It's not a situation vision where he's required to choose. It's just him just chilling whatever and he looks and he's just like Damn Nascar as one of us. We would come out to toilet. Terry do you do technically Headingley right ten terry crews tweet technically right. Yeah he the only so let me ask you because in all these scenarios you want a significant other ballistic like if your tires did blow out or your toilet is messed just up and you have a boyfriend or husband. You know what I'm saying if I'm your dad and you call me I. I'm blow this Negro doing. Oh well I guess I'm asking the question. I'm asking. That question to parents must be different..

He's just thinking about her and he's at my agency agency and I went now. You gotta stay. People kept this a secret. I called everybody in the next day. The next day I went right to the agency. Like hey man eh. This do did this and they were all awo. We can do some of Buffalo. My God. Yeah I was like what are you doing about this. He was high. He was on something. Tom What's going on with her to come on. You think or what. I had no idea what he thought he. He hoped that boundary. Yeah I got you. Yeah Yeah and he was like what you're going to do about it. Yeah and that's what their whole attitude where I sit down with Ari Emanuel the head and agency on my. Hey Man I say first of all you demanded Mel Gibson be kicked out of Hollywood for antisemitic remarks. But this dude assaulted me. Yeah so what. Are you going to do your boy. Oy Yeah it's different dairy. What was that me was I mean I know you Jewish but dipped because I'm black? Yeah was that me you do what you gotta do it because it was a partner. He's like he ain't GonNa make you make your move. Yeah I I said okay so I spent four hundred thousand dollars of my own money and I said you know what I spend a million dollars to win one dollar. That was a moment I drop the mic and I said this is is it. He sued him sued him. Yes I went. We went straight to court and then when we had all these like little meetings and all like well Terry what do you want I I want you gone. I don't want any money. I said you got to go. You cannot go. You can't molest somebody and go to work the next day. Yeah and you gotTa to stay. I gave them months to work this out months here. And when it all when this whole Harvey Weinstein thinks that happening I got PTSD. I snapped. I was on a set of Brooklyn nine nine and I started tweeting. And you remember. I didn't even name the guy. Yeah I was like. This thing happened to me and people were like what Terry crews us you do. It was right there. And I'm working all the way down and all these tweets and I shut my phone down and I was at peace. You understand Eh. It was like a snap like literally I can only imagine. It was like a spring when I felt the rush. It it was like I was right back there and I remember having to eat that and getting in a car and going home I never recovered. Yeah until I set them tweets. It was like I'm done. And then what happened and then my world was different. My world changed. Everybody was like why you no men were mad. They were like us what it was some previous relationship between your people were making up. Shit people do on stuff stuff and then I first of all I never revealed them and then I started finding out what Hollywood like. Hollywood has this game where they play like. Oh Oh everyone's peace diversity and whole until it really gets down to it. It's a black man exactly so you know what I imagine man's and accusations I didn't even make a demand that was just like Yo this do did this That's impossible you too big and then all of a sudden and you know why because variety revealed him. Yeah and it was there. They were working in conjunction William. I got threatened I see I remember remember. I came out on. They called out there. Oh they called it out they could and then I went on a good morning America Mike Strain in the next day. I all these tabloids coming at me like they're going to reveal some secret story about me and I was like man I'll put it on my twitter and I put they said I had prostitutes suits in Monaco and the whole thing and I was on a second honeymoon with my wife and I was like dude. This Hollywood machine is scary because this is the deal you think as an you as an artist that people are hearing all these. What we're getting is from yesterday? Agent giving US shit out they are the ones that's keeping you alive. I said I remember being a body. And what happens is when he's bodyguards and bouncers get around what they do is they go. beat up innocent guy and then went back to you and go home man. He was GONNA kill you boy and they go. Oh I'll keep you forever and that's how you get paid. Yeah this is wages. Do the same thing to create these things like. Oh Luke and they're the ones telling these guys talk. I'm going to save you from this. I'll get out of it. I will get you. Do Come on man. It's it's the hustle. It's it's it's as bad as crack game is bad all this stuff so and I started revealing this stuff. Yeah I was going on twitter twitter facebook. I was revealing all this stuff. Stop and people were like. He's going crazy he's not but I was like. Hey Man I know exactly what's going on and I said I'm not letting you get away with any had it ended up. Oh he quit he had to go. Yeah Yeah finally I finally I got a call from William. Moore's like you know what we're going to let him go. Yeah because what happened. Was this thing where several other people. Aw came out and join my case. Now they weren't willing to be named right but we also let's go a court Bra. You WanNa go all the way. Let's go and there were several people that he did the same thing too and they were like okay. We got it and they quit but they were ready to fight. But See. That's the game if you if you willing to quit. They're willing to it. Just step on you. But I wasn't willing I was like I want to take this all the way. I don't care the career was over. I was already. I went home told my wife how it was done. Yeah we'll do something else uh-huh but you stuck in there. I did say though. Are you still told me no. I'm over I left. Uh left right away. My wife told me but see this was blew my mind. My Wife said Terry everyone has ever has always been through this. See this is. Everyone has been mm-hmm women get molested all the time. Yeah they gotta go work. Yeah women get this all day. She was telling me what to do. She was like listen. You know this happened to me when I was in I was going. What the world? Why don't you tell me? Wait Man I have my daughter's telling me Yeah Dad this is in the what what women go through this all day but what happened was and this is the best thing about what's happening. Yeah I took what was normally to women's issue and we made it a three D. right because what happened with all. These men started coming out about what happened to them. We had wrestler. We have major like Wrestlers that were we're in Olympics and the whole thing coming out about the team doctors that were less than All these players from high school and colleges were getting molested and do this happens. It happens a lot. Yeah and what I mean is is just because I didn't beat the guy. Did that mean I was molested like even if I did. Does that mean you didn't put your hands on me. Yeah you did and that affects me. You know what I'm saying. Yeah crossed that boundary. You know what I mean and and my thing is men men were like really highlight the fact that guys were calling back in their past. Yeah I remember when I was. I was a pleasant for this paternity and they made us get naked. It would freeze up man and military military was talking about people coming up like. Hey Man I I remember that. Because you block it out we compartmentalize and in that moment coming. You know the reason why you. Unless you're you're most the alternative. Not Striking back is just seizure. Says like what Kasit but but it also you go back and say that didn't happen you can. We can go no big deal. Yeah right push it out of your head right but that but that guy did it he did do it. So how long was this whole process before you had all leveled off. Oh my year it was about it. Took took two years straight and your career is thriving. You're good a survive man. That guy's probably still in show business about right. He just moved off. uh-huh relocating priests exactly right. He's a the run into him. I'm good all right. Great talking to you man. "They were literally talking about People's mothers in the campaign. Yeah crazy house like this is crazy. It's crazy Manuel. But yeah but that's the intelligence of judge. I love that guy you played. That was great. The Data Macho Camacho. But then you just like it seems like you sort of. Do you runs in all these different shows. Like you've had like a lot of different things like you know on TV where he did a few episodes. Are we there yet. What is that one? That was I hundred episodes of. Are we there yet. It was a TV show based on Ice Cubes. Movie Are there Nah Avail miserably. I it was the neck Tyler Perry model where you do one hundred to get the syndication so that was the deal. I moved to Connecticut. We shot them all in Connecticut. We shot three a week. Yeah Yeah did he go into syndication. Oh it did but it was just it was nothing like it. Do you talking about sounds like a lot of work. Oh it was but it was my chance right it. It could be the main guy but it was horrible. I mean even have a real audience. No no huge disappointment at a laugh track. It was laugh. Laugh track all over in fact while we were doing. TBS stop airing it while we were shooting it. Yeah and it was just like a band that was but that modeled in hold did it because they did it with Charlie Sheen to like they really. I think they underestimated people's. It's it's hard underestimate people's intelligence in this. It's stupid but they did. They weren't that stupid. No no and that's the deal I remember saying. Hey just joke could be better than they were like. Look Man Dan what are you talking about. Two hundred hundred and he's talking about go back to work. Well Oh my God. I'm gonNA tell you how bad it was. I wanted to do expendable to. And they didn't even know there were three. I don't I want to go to expendable to. They promised me. Could I got in there and they were like no. You can't do it now. 'cause we doing are we there yet. I said okay. Yeah yes check it out. I'll do ten episodes for free. Yeah if you let me go expendable here like okay right so I ended up shooting ten episodes of are we there it for free so I could go because I knew that was my only way back into my career. You know what I mean. Because no one's watching the cell so I said well if I do expendable to at at least I can get some heat because you've got to keep the fires keeping a claim your whole career. Is this little fired at J. Just don't WanNa go out a little wicked it got real them with expendable is all cast of those people dimwit that was you said it At a real meeting the reignited quite a few dim weight exactly it helps move Eh. The light of many dimwit. All right. It's very spiritual but you did. It must have been kind of exciting to work with those guy. Oh Man I I'll come on. Hey Roberts Nikki right right in. It's a loan come on Man Solo. You grew up with that shit. It was amazing but I am. I have to say to on top how. `Bout everything on the most great bull man in this town to be doing what I'm doing came. I've had bad jobs. I swept Laura's people have watched you I feed it. They did it so I mean really. Is it really that bad. First of all what. I thought when you think something's he's GonNa kill you. It doesn't usually people we weren't really thinking about you. Ever I got their own bills usually true. You know what I mean I put too much on. You know. We don't do things all perfect man. People don't care goes away. It goes away fast. Fast people only remember success or if you really failed big or or if you do something stupid you know what I mean so infamy either. You're famous or infamous. That's it if you Harvey Weinstein You will be all the movies. He's ruined there's pig into Tuxedo. Just think about think about all the memories. It's like bill cosby. I love the cosby show. Man I can't watch it. I mean it's the records or the records or anything record. Some guy did a funny joke Taylor. I can't remember whereas name. He's a comic he goes. He says I've been doing comedy for about seven years. It's going really well making more money doing comedy than Bill Cosby. This real though PAT hurts it hurts man joke. Why can't I remember people's Ios last name? So but what about this this Gig now seems like a pretty sweet gig. Hey I like it. I decided to start hosted You know before doing that. Yeah hosted millionaire to learn my way through and See I'm not a comedian but it's so funny because you've done all these bits on like Portland yet. The drunk kids. Yeah Yeah like you did arrested development. I mean you're a known guy but hosting a comfortable GIG teams for some people who can do I love it. I would first of all I would. What do? Adt for free. It's because you gotta understand you help you biggest talent show in the world and I'm GonNa take you back now. I hosted my high school talent show because my mother wouldn't allow me to perform it really because he was religious right. Is that true that I have no doubt that he would not allow she was like you. AIN'T GONNA be out there shaking. Can you ask but on people because it's evil because right sending because it's sitting and I said can host it. What is this exactly pry? I don't know okay okay. Yeah what's it like. Nobody can win that game but but but my thing was let me host and she was like Okay and she let me hosted And so I always wanted to do this. I always wanted to be his personality. But another another thing is is that a GT had spies. This need for the crowd for one. You only play football for the audience you literally. I mean there's a lot of pain but that cheers is very addictive like most. COMEDIANS are addicted to the crowd. They're addicted to you. Know what that gives energy. You don't know what's going to happen. It might win. You might lose your. It's a bit of a gambler. You know what I mean I feel that way. Njit you don't know what's going to happen especially when what is live hosting they give you the keys. NBC for two hours. Yeah it's in your hands. Anything can happen you drive. It's a satisfying inspiring. When it goes well is what it's like? Oh Yay crash hard. You know so. It's inspirational the people that secure. Think thank you and it's like even with football. I knew a guy who I used to work with Frank Santarelli show with him and he you know he's a football fan. I told him I. I said I said I don't really watch sports at all. And he goes feel alive is sports either. I know but like what you're saying about. How football on about the audience and like the for whatever it's worth it does give people you know sort of Connection in something to be excited about it and I think think America's got talent. It's it's it's inspiring to people because it makes people you know whether they can't not think that they can use the talent and be be something. It's made superstar. Yeah it's literally turns. People into superstars overnight. I first of all hold onto it. I don't you know there's a few I mean there's a few the huge Vegas. Peter makes millions of dollars a year. He was one of the. He's a puppeteer. He's a ventriloquist he's gotta show going on L. L. IN VEGAS MAKING No. She was idle and I didn't win it. She didn't win idol but working with their now. She's something she's she. We did Sandy Wexler to go. Yeah Yeah I've got to work with a lot of people but these kind of show. Yes I mean we need them. We need them. Where else can you get Seventy year old singer or a six year old singer comedian and I. It's kind of like reminds me of Ed Sullivan. Yeah for sure yeah. It's a modern day. Celebrate yeah except I I think at some was dealing with professional performance right. Yeah but we want you gotta say American wants blood. America wants to watch you fail. They WanNa see it all. Aw Happen in real time. Yeah yes if perfect is born nine. Oh Ah WanNa see people you think fail on purpose. Sometimes I think I got the shame to go out there and fuck it up because if you do if you fail on purpose you won't make the edit. You still got Agai- ed if you're GonNa Fail on purpose you'd better be good Yeah like you can kind of see. What's many people are like uh-huh we believe me? Well I'm back with the axe and I literally am there with them the whole time and you we've had a couple of people coming in and you're like okay. They're coming to set. This is setup. Yeah you know and it never makes yeah so as part of your evolution to You know the kind of like so you hit the wall. What was it? Did you say two thousand and intend with the everything else and then you also were you know one of the only few very few men that came out to sort of address me to from your point of view fit you. You know that you you the the position because I talked about it with my producer you know remembering you know what you did and what you cop to that you know that that position abuse of power in in that situation where the power dynamic imbalance. It's not gender specific. It doesn't have to be you gotta understand to When when I did that what happened? There were a ton of men who turned on me like they will i. What the Hell you too big? What happened well? This agent Adam Venit. Ah who was the head of the motion picture. Department at William Morris Endeavor. I'm at a party with me. And my white yeah and he comes is up to me and he grabs my balls in front of your wife and brought on my wife everything. And he's like I'm like Joe Push them back. Yeah what are you doing man man. He started laughing. He comes back at me again and I'm like job pushing back again. Yeah and his wife. Is there too. And we're in circle of white people. Yeah Okay Rich White people at a party and I'm like and I'm looking around and I'm gonNA knock this dude food into another world but my wife years earlier she see me throw people over her head before she made me promise. Wow so we can't be happy so I must be an angry black man at all time so unless I'm not standing for the call right so you go okay and then you realize dude this is like no when I say man you got. It's the same thing like you said about your family. At some point you got to create some space for yourself dock. We right exactly. So when did the first Gig Star happening like when did you get the first TV game I I wa. I was bouncing I. I worked my way from sweeping floors to bouncing a friend of mine bouncing and of course vitamin Metoo an audition and he was like dude. You got a good look. People have been coming up to me. Allow Dude you got to look and try and I was like Oh whatever man. I was trying to get behind the scene friend of mine. Vitamins this thing. It was a show called Battle Dome which was like American gladiators on steroid era. We worked to put people in hospital the first thing I got film because it was kind of football you know like it was like actually like a reality in the early reality sports. Yes yes but we were. It was called. You know we would like the line was battled on real real warriors real pain. Yeah Bill and people getting knocked out on his show. People were dislocating arms legs and don't show only two years. I got got sued three times. Oh my God I fi- different contestants. Because they were like bill hours no rules no wild west back then I it was. It's really crazy and they want it. was that kind of thing. They wanted that until they couldn't handle it. Yeah and then. I first movie I ever auditioned for was movie. Called the six day. Honest Watson Egger. Yeah and I got that doing what and I was like a a bad guy in the movie. Mi Michael Rooker a bunch of people and we were trying to kill Arnold and it was kind of a wack movie it was. It was some lines. But that's the movie. I went to Vancouver to do and ended up in a massage. Yeah that was my first year. 'cause I again you get imposter syndrome to two thousand. Yeah you get imposter syndrome. I don't know I don't know what I'm doing. I shouldn't be here. Yeah he's dressing inkster right. You're the deserve this. And I'm like white like I don't even I'm not even an actor acting school piece of Shit. Yes go back into some dirty stuff you know what I mean. I guess that's true. He I guess it always sort of goes to that I said Yeah I. It's weird though because he often wonder like what if I had nobody nobody to judge myself against like what if he was just you alone. You had no wife and you had no kids. Yeah would you still feel like an asshole. No in fact that first of all the only thing the only way you could tell you're an asshole is by other people who is your relationship to other people kind of need it but first of all if you ever see somebody all about himself. Oh they had a big ass they stay that way. Yeah or they're an asset. Nobody to really tell you. Yeah you know yeah either. It's a sad story or it's a it's an angry store. Oh it's bad but All right so so then it just starts out then and then you start going right but you're doing a lot of these these roles like that that fit your physique. I it's the way you look at one time. So funny I identity trae on my show. Yeah and like you know. He played my sponsor my as I played his AA sponsor. We had a lot of dialogue And he's like he can't get the lines he's like man. This is more dialogue than I've had an every movie the I've ever done in the last ten and he he goes. They hired me for my phaser. Well you know they were trying to put me in that for years. The bag is big brutes and yeah and then I I wanted to be funny because you got to say even in one of my stress relievers. I was always been comedy and I mean being in the locker room funny at home I was at school. I was always cracking jokes Harem. I think that's how that's how people who grew up in chaos. Make things easier. Dude I mean look at all the COMEDIANS. It's gotTa be you got you know funniest guys come from the most intensive to make your dad laugh. I did out digger right day You know and that was the thing just to get them off me right. Get them off me. Stop just before you start hitting people and getting hit my mother. Let's let's laugh. Yeah yeah it's crazy they're gonNA be. Yeah Yeah I'll do the robot robot for the whole family but then happened. was I was doing this. These movies and stuff and and all of a sudden my I roll was Friday after next ice cube and the willingness to go that far in that movie and then all of a sudden I started to get noticed here and for comedy slack right and it just kept going. You know white chicks big and I did movies. Malibu's most wanted to director I was I was in the background and it was like hey man. That's hilarious put them up here and that's what happened. It was like people were your big money and you got weird weird thing. They never saw anything. Like Ah. I'll be honest with you. Muscle and comedy didn't mix. Yeah Joe Piscopo tried it and it was like okay. Must give it a little weird. It was yeah but see when I did it I was kind of lampooning. What masculinity was so I mean even from old spice way up and that was like comedy is going to to be my thing and I love it man? Vice commercials are weird weird like and I really like I remember yours and then like I saw Dion Dionne clothes hose on and I was watching. What are these couple of these commercials in because I do comedy too and I saw him over to those commercials mean is is a black thing missing? Yeah Dude where it's weird because that's the thing you forget you never forgot it burns in your memory always missing missing some cultural cues as I am. I GONNA use those by the commercial sticks with you. That was the whole point. I'm I'm working with Marlin right now. He's a funny guy. Marlon Wayans the Wayans family. You love him. I love those guys. They I mean they're responsible for so much a comedy so many people getting their shots. I mean a billion dollar movie family. You know what I mean and like the Jacksons of comedy. Yeah and you know they they. They were the gatekeepers for me and they let me in. How many how many movies did you do I did? I did just white chicks Damon I did a Damon Show my wife wipe again but some of the biggest things that I've ever done it went viral. Yeah was from him now. Adam Sandler game your career. Oh yeah like. They gave me a star Dr Sandler. I've done this yard. Longest Shar click Ridiculous six. We just did. It was sandy. Wexler excellent movies. Yeah my man. He's always called me up like you do. Come on man we got another one. It blended in South Africa. Yeah Yeah He's always got something funny for me. That's nice sauce good but they're but everybody hates. Chris was that was the real that Doug in right. Got Your health insurance and Dow what what the thing is my wife again. 'cause I want to do movies. I was back in the day I was like. I'm just going to be a movie star right honey. We need to get this money. She was like you gotTa do. TV WE GOTTA DO TV. TV's kids you got it that. At that point it was four. Yeah She was like we gotta do television and at the time. Television wasn't what it was. I I mean you could end up little WACK SITCOM and be like but everybody his career. You can make more money but the thing you can make the money and what was as wild as long as Sharon Chris Rock. We were promoting the movie. He's got something for you because he was watching me the whole time and I get the scripted a male. Everybody's Chris Chris and I read the pilot and it was hilarious. I said holy cow this is right and you could play a grown man. Yeah bother the whole character and it wasn't and it wasn't degrading automatic right on TV. Just don't WANNA be degrade most of it at at the time. Yeah you you felt you had to sell a little bit of your heart right right right and that wasn't that wasn't a deal there. No eres Chris this was classic. Yeah classic to This Day is still one of the best things out there. Yeah I think you're right. I mean I think people really like the show. Yeah I I think I I always knew who you were but when I saw idiosyncrasy that was like too much man. The how how you know. I just did white chicks and you gotta stay when Mike Judge when when we I'd auditioned for when from even our district but that sucker probably seven eight Brady accuracy accuracy. Yeah but what was happening. Is they have big big names. But nobody knew who I was but I knew this religious stuff right. You know what I mean. Yeah but the thing is he is scammer and the whole deal is I knew so many preachers like that where they can say. Well we need. We need to come through and you need. We need to be who you WanNa be not see what I just said Mitt. Nothing but because it was enthusiastic emotional everybody will get but I said you you might judge was like that is and I got the part and little. Did we know it would be professing. WHO had no idea prophecy to it was only in two theaters? Nine failed miserably. I thought it was going to be my big hit movie and I was so depressed breath would. Hey why don't know great movie. I think it would have been even better with a little more money on A. Yeah we had nothing we because there 'cause the conceit give it was great. It was amazing. Mike is always been like. I know everything does this later. Yeah it's great later office space all of legendary all all of it. No I thought it. Also that like in terms of how society as a satire of culture. I mean it proved to be very foretelling was like when in Time magazine Shepherd Bayton wait I remember during the election of between trump and Hillary had people a your mama no Mama I was like holy city..

"Take you out of yourself and also if you go all the way through and you finished your like you get the busby. Also you know you feel like like Yeah it's like ahead of dope or whatever and then there's guilt and then there's then then you do it to feel better but then you feel guilty so you feel worse very slow to get better you do it again. Yeah and it's a it's a cycle you always spill lonely and you're always saying you're lonely when you don't WanNa fuck who you're with with you I can. I'm just tired. I already did it three times today. You see what I mean. And then it ruins it ruins your vision of what sex is and you lose intimacy period right so I mean I'm not that great intimacy anyways right from the beginning of I mean when you look back at you relationship were were you ever good at that and we all know but but it didn't help I I get to you get more as you give more. Yeah I know but there's something scary about intimacy to for some reason I were you ever able to track. I mean look you grew up in one of those volatile households where your dad's beaten on your mom and when he comes home. You don't know what the hell to do so you don't know what's GonNa Happen next so being vulnerable is risky right very first of all. Well I I feel like I said I was like fourteen fifteen years ago because I was always always know what was going to happen so they never so you know you never did. I told you my mother's like I'll kill you. There's a couple of times. She stabbed him. I mean really. We would come home to chaotic scenes. Police blood uh-huh knives. It's you know I kinda think. Christmas is horrifying Christmas. Dick euless Christmas around holiday. The the miles was not a happy time. Yeah I mean I. It's weird because even now have a lot. A bad memory is crazy because he's just go drunks get it really really weird. Yeah man and so. There was so much stress but this is the deal about what I found and this is broke me down because my wife actually accepted me back. Yeah because I thought if she discover who I really was she would hate me but the truth is because she loved me she it was like I wanted. You reveal yourself. You've been waiting. She'd been waiting Adam saying what I've been running for them was what I actually need it. Yeah and so so I was that blew me away man like then I discovered by being vulnerable was the key to my salvation. It was like my salvation. Yeah you know what I mean by opening up actually revealing by actually saying I need this. Because you've got to understand this. This men work we into a hole. Oh and what you proud to say a man I need help. So you stuck in the hole but the only way to say how he's agreement. Yeah but you're embarrassing. Yeah so people die in the whole mart. I know di Di and I was on my way to dine in the whole. Yeah see what I'm saying Eh. If you don't die physically emotionally seem income. Bitter is working on this joke recently for my act about How they should have an APP for something that translates what angry guy to their women into into truth where you're sort of like you don't fucking lovers and I love you very real data? Great Joke that 'cause that is actually the truth it is right. It's yeah I I said man. I can't believe the Mo- horrifying things. I said an angry tirade. 'cause I guess she would come to me about. So what are you doing about. I DIDN'T WANNA reveal it sought starting Oregon say something shit. How you know that you're fucking doing it? You know it's like you have to to a US inside it's crazy man. It's the other one I got is fucking with my head and that means I feel really closely right now makes me uncomfortable but this is the thing that's what my therapist and he said. Did you have a double life. You split into a house I this is you know what once it's weird because it's almost like discovering that wait a minute You'd think that the sun revolves around earth and then all of a sudden. Then you realize wait a minute. We go around the Sun. Everything is different. Well yeah once you have a key into that but it just reveals itself to me right now that the reason we have a split is because when you have to survive chaos you have to put a personality in place that will do that. Thank you you know one way or the other and so the real you get put on hold but he gets you know behind the wall of this other thing that is just getting through emotional chaos. Ask The scary part is of men we we can compartmentalize like no other. I mean that's what we do. We set set this little boxing and nobody can get through and it's safe. Yeah as I say spot until it is but you realize you think you're safe but actually you're trapped you know what I mean as you're all alone you can't get out now you like. They don't even know away. And you think you got a handle on everything I'd say at that point where you can't even get out you like I'm all right so so you're in that whole talking about I'm good. I'm good. They sound good at the Marlboro Man. Is that guy that that poster. He's he's walking along alone he's good he's but It's interesting though the thing you say about women knowing this other part of this because they see it somehow despite are they see these moments of it are there like they know that you and now they're waiting like you're going to do it what they already know but you obviously kind of stepped up. You've got five kids. Yeah good father and everything we brought up with ED religion I was but my mother was super religious super religious. When I was a kid I was not allowed to play sports? Yeah not allowed to go to the movies. Listen to secular music. It was called the Christ. Not You know up pentecostal where it was a lot of. You know what they call holy rollers where it was really emotional singing and dancing into the tongue off speaking in tongues and all all that stuff so what happened was everything was fear base. Everything was shame based everything was like. Why are you thinking that? He's I don't care I don't know so shame shame. Shame shame and that was the way to keep people in control so you just shame. Shame on you even thinking that way and if you do that you're GonNa go to hell and I was like and this was the crazy thing and then you internalize it and that's your home. Base is shame. Shame yourself do who live in it. There were people in our church. Yeah put their TV in the window sill and watch TV through the window sale and go to church and say I don't have a TV in my house. I raised you see that's the level of religiosity and trap of what this thing is and you're like wait a minute but because we will say they will say you can't go to movies but we watch the same movie on TV and they will go. Well that's different than going to the movies. Hell what are you talking about and and I always had these questions and I had another questions and they were like shut up man. Now shut up on the Internet church my mother. My mother eventually left when we were in high school. And that's when when I started playing high playing football and kind of getting out of that. Yeah but it's that religiosity was still there. You know what I mean and then let me tell you some I still. I believe in high power. I don't believe I made myself thing. Yeah but all this other stuff the problem is all this other stuff. The shame all this all people had to add whole bunch of junk but understand with addiction. Same Fuels Addiction. Shame feels a lot of shit. No doubt Zoom saying it's tolley fuel like pornography no. I'll never do it again. Oh Boy Oh my God i. It's like I saw the movie the other night and I forgot about it but it's sort of true. Who is that like? The gambling addict is addicted to losing so right a soda it there and you try to work out in your brain. Is that like if shame is your comfort zone The comfort zone is uncomfortable and horrible and I hate myself. You're always gonNA find a way to get there even when you know in your mind that you want to feel good and you want to do the right thing. It's like you might be able to do that but it feels so fucking uncomfortable. It's just like you're GONNA you're GONNA fuck yourself. It's like putting a Tuxedo on a pig. Yeah the pay's going to go back to the SLOP slop right. It'd be if you feel like you're a pig. Yeah you can't help go to your level of water audit pigs in Tuxedos uh-huh but soares you realize you're not a pig. Yeah now you start to step out but that takes you got. Forgive yourself you gotTa Process Shit. You've gotTa make amends. You know you gotTa Clean Your Side Street Right. I remember we are in the shame culture right now. Hey man you can't say nothing. Shame now now. Oh Shamo you you this and that's the way people beal people feel like there's nothing wrong with shame you know the people it's like literally. This is my job to make sure you know how to be politically correct stored. Isn't it shouldn't be doing this. What are you doing and I went to Shanghai for the holiday okay? Shanghai China. I always wanted to go. Never events never been always wanted band tastic why that place because I wanted to go somewhere. That was totally off the grid like east breath. I never been that far you with the family the family I took them all but I was shaking. People were like what are you doing in China. Do not doing the Muslims you. What do you do in Hong Kong? I'M GONNA do. It caused a controversy. And I'm sitting here like wait a minute so okay first of all. I'm in China but apple's here to Nike too so you never gonNA use your iphone again. Yeah you know what I mean I was like why. Why are they taking all the anger on new because they feel powerless against against Nike and Apple? And you're just a guy vacation I'm just a guy on example exactly and shame. Shame shame on you and I'm going. Hey Man but first of all Americans who thirty years ago. If I'd have been trying to do the things that I'm doing right now I would have been lynched. I'm just trying to tell you. When I was a kid we would go down south? We couldn't stop my. We will put a chicken a whole chicken cooked chicken in the trunk and a hills. Brothers coffee can because we got hungry we just ripped off a piece of chicken and we had to pee in the hills brothers copycat because we knew where the safe stop no restaurants no hotels right so stop up coming to me about go to human rights abuses way man. This is America on..

"Was like Okay guys we gotta get this together. Because you know everybody's got to contribute and they were like no you got it. I was like no I said first of all if I got a hundred bucks to her her convalescence or not just the family just we gotta take care of our parents sick and she was sick longtime lymphoma cancer the whole thing and we knew something was GonNa Happen. Yeah but I was like okay if I got one hundred dollars and you got ten and we get ten percent then okay. I'll give you give one. They know you got a hundred. Is You pay for everything. Yeah I was like no do and I was trying to straighten this out with my family way before she pat right and he wouldn't do it and I was going. Hey Man. Why are you expecting when she listened when she passed away? My brother's like a man. I can't afford to go to the funeral man. I need some money. I'm like dude. That's your mother I I said well then you ain't going. How a world am I supposed to pay for you get to the field? It was the first time you felt like they were taking the man. I've reached out because I I've been famous for twenty years and I've been doing like re you work and you work. Glad I got five jobs at the same time here but at the same time. I'm like guys you got to understand that this there are no accidents. It's the problem is there's mentality Taliban where people feel like people are successful. They got us by accident. They lucky lucky. You you know you like they look at me and go you just lucky you got that you got the metabolism you know it's fucking have about that is that like that. Maybe it's usually never true but even if it is true in order to maintain the job in luck you gotta show up for work. You GotTa do the thing dude. I work for two hours every morning. Yeah lucky no no I know. Keep getting worse dude protocols must be done you gotta maintain whatever you got I. I don't care if you have a beautiful house on the block. If you don't do shit is going to get dirty and it's going to be a mess. It'd be tall grass. Can't hide it for that long. You gotta work at and but they like you just you just got it right. Yeah they think you know yeah and I tried. I kept trying to explain that to Pam. Remember I tried to get businesses. I was like God please. Let's start a family business. Let's get this thing going but we can support each other. Yeah I just need to grant no yeah. I don't WanNa work. That's your brother. My father that was my boss I said. Do you have no pension to. Can you just go like we can just set you up with something that you can sell ties or just find something you can sell whatever whatever did you have an idea was I did. I was like look set up a business where we have a bunch of lawnmowers and you can hire some people around and and do what. He's a I just need. Give give me twenty dollars. Wow whoo couldn't do it. Detached with a certain amount of love at of your own to survive emotionally for yourself. Let me tell you I had a family member I will say look I will pay for business. Is that one hundred percent. Yeah but all I have to say I said I have one requirement I want fifty one percent of business man. You get forty nine. Yeah it'll be great. You know they say yes. My ad fifty be fifty fifty. There's no such thing as a fifty business. How do you make a decision? Yeah let's most business ninety ten. Yeah Right Ninety ten. Yeah and I was like what in the world and I can't work with you. I can't Doodo and I was going to happen. I was going crazy. Is it for years stressing passing me how to deal with the family. Yeah I was like you know what all of a sudden I I learned about the block button. I was like I can block these numbers. The only guy didn't nobody's calling and it's so peaceful and it was. I had a sister. No they just call him and then he rela- what block. Ed Got My sister blocking people. And then I realized this for my own good and all of a sudden I started thriving simply because I just got these people emotionally oceanwide out of my life you already thriving but you mean you weren't Cratia are already have a wife and five kids had to deal with and and I'm going to Amen. I support you. You were gro you grow people. Yeah Yeah I gotTa happen so when you stay in coming up though when you were growing up I mean was it but he stayed in love football. But what was your original sort of interest in you. Know Howard art painting right then. I think I read that somewhere. That yeah so you're sensitive. Kind of artistic guy was a totally. I'm a right hand a right brain. Yeah left left hand in and I my art talent was my a big thing. I had art scholarship before I had a football scholarship. I walked on it football team. Yeah but I had an art scholarship. She drew paint painting drawing when you eccentric kid my whole yes. I'm sculpting I was into all I thought I was going to be a special effects artist. That was my whole kid. Did you do masks and I did everything I I was always into anything movie like. Did you go to art school. I went no because I because art schools weren't paid for by full scholarship alongside of the painting. And whatever it music too I was I played the flute. I still do. I still do on eighteen times so good. Yeah he was my big ass with a flute and he's like Oh but but this is the deal man. I've always been artistic and I always saw myself and you made a living doing are two different points starving at different points. I when I was get cut from a football team what I would do is go back in the locker room and I'll ask the players if they wanted to portrait painted and how survived I would get five thousand dollars for a painting of a football player and I will let me go two months until it's time to go back to camp and so I did lots of players man. I probably did about twenty any players while I was on a redskins while I was on the chargers. The whole thing and I will do these paintings I would. I would actually paint the cover of Game Day like the a little magazine that they have and you make money doing. Let me say that I would make Louisville mighty not like crazy money but it got me enough to survive. And then when I retired I went to NFL properties. And I remember I was like I would love to do something with the NFL and they looked at me and they were like great. That's wonderful. He slamma portfolio down. He was like no no thank. Thank you my. I don't know we already got Leroy. Neiman they didn't want this. They have Peter Max Leroy naming but they were like they were not interested in any players crossing that line. Because you were just like you're just one of the machines I mean that's you look at the League first of all you gotta look at how football players end up. Yeah everybody everybody looks at players now there but if you look players how they end up man. It's not good never good. It's it's more it's right there with boxing. MMA yeah he's got all the concussion stuff oh God it's is horrible and the NFL will right now deny that they have anything involving your brain issues that I i. That's not us right. That's not yeah that guy just couldn't take a hit man come all right so you're doing that art when your kid but but you were working in. Some capacity is in artists before the football thing right I was doing courtroom courtroom sketches for a challenge. School or what that was in my first freshman year of college. CB sitting in court early because you're class was crime ridden in sold. I did the courtroom sketches for the biggest murder case implicit history. At the time he has people were murdered in Krakow's yeah and and there are was. I knew a few of the victims which was quite from where they were drug dealers in the neighborhood right and so I knew yeah and I was. Aw Man it was it was. It was so surreal. Awkward position where you could actually draw the victims as well. It was crazy and the guy they accuse it was one guy with a rap but he was six people it was like a whole bunch of people who'd that killed him but at the same time one guy took the rap and it. It was just horrible incident ever I was like Oh so you just sit there and of course you that quick at it you can really Kinda just I was focusing but that was what I did. It was why because the actual courtroom art is supposed to come in from Chicago. He wasn't able to do it and I was an intern at TV twelve WJR not in Flint Michigan and in my father may He. My father got me the job. He was hired my son. He got art ability and house. I oh gosh that's okay and I couldn't believe it. I was hired hired you for what they hired me to do back in the day. Yeah before computers you actually drew the backdrops on the news so they were like I withdrawal like a chalk line and police cars and they will go to you know to people murdered today and my graphic. We'll go behind so you that that was pre computer and that. Was You doing that as an intern. I was doing as enter and then when the courtroom artists he worked for the TV station nation. Exactly the the but he could make it and then I do it. I don't know what happened. But whatever was like yes like nineteen. I'll exactly nineteen years old jumped in their rely on. How man you gotTa career at this you know? And then I went back to school western Michigan University and cut that plant football ended up in the NFL but so but in in college do our classes install but but this was the deal. I did art classes but because I was a football player player I could not take all the classes because we had labs you know you spend three hours three hours a day painting but I was a practice so we he also being looked at like. He's just you know doing this. 'cause it's easy for him to get the elective or no. No because I was actually better than my teachers has an art. Yeah I mean I'm GonNa tell you I had a scam scam. Yeah what I would do was I would create a bunch of paintings all summer. Our create really bad ones and they would go all the way to very very a good one and then I would come in the beginning semester and I will say I will go to. The teacher helped me with this. What's going on and then over the course of the semester hour? Keep Panning and stuff. Yeah knowing it was already done but acting like I was just doing and then he would. This is so much better. You helped me so thank you and I will get an the big plan I was never. I never got my degree. I never got my degree. You didn't couldn't finish. I could Because you had to go play. I had to play. They've football. I mean as a scholarship student. There was no way I I couldn't I had to give up. They were telling me just go get a business degree but I'm an artist. Yeah so so I actually ended up twelve credits. Short never never got my. Did you have to pay him back for the scholarship. No I didn't I mean when I was done I was done. I didn't like if you have a scholarship. They don't say they know. You gotTA finish. You're you're GONNA be penalized. Somehow you know I've seen where guys had their scholarships taken But I you know my thing is I was done. John Painter your flute player. Sweet guy but you got this football ability so you just felt like you had the Go-to you got drafted you go. That was my way to make money. I mean so it was a money game. Where was I going to make money back back? RV Artists is a true term back in. Don't make money back to the courtroom. There was no money in that intern. Dollars right what I mean So I said NFL way to make some cats right. And so I'm GonNa do this and my whole thing was I'm GonNa make sure this happens now. I didn't really like football but it was kind of like you know do it as hard as I could and so I my wife was like one hundred. Maybe you're not that good.
