"Know Adams can't control loose in the corner as Tucker and Paul got tangled up. And it goes out of bounds to Oklahoma City. Couple of great looks, and I asked Mike D'Antoni. Why the struggles against Okay, see they do a good job on the three point line. He said Look, I loved our looks. Don't know why we shot 23% Gordon was 2 15. Those ball games against okay. 23% over three complete games wasn't one or 23 games. Gallinari fouled shot falls off the rim. No good was a great pass by Adam's Gallo cutting toward the rim, and he will shoot two free throws. That's got to be a focal point. Just get the ball in the paint on this team. Obviously they go small. You have to take advantage of Gallinari, a guy that can do that Adam's again. Like I said, off screen and roll. We're gonna get shrewder in here already, not even four minutes into the first quarter. The line. Tucker picked up the foul. His first honoree hits the first free throw, and Here comes Dennis Router. Terrence Ferguson plays the opening almost four minutes of the game, but now they've got there. Three top point guards. They're all playmakers. Paul plays a lot off the ball this year Shrewder Paul and Guiltiest Alexander's great success story who gets hardened? That's the question with Ferguson going out. I think, Billy Donovan said he liked shrewder on him. He had some success as well. So let's see if the truth were here in the area that looks like it. Is Patrick Beverly, right up underneath. Dave's Harden right in his shorts are both free throws tied at six router guarding Harden at the top of the three point line. Hard dribbling left, right left right now dribbles down the lane floats it up off the rim falls off to the right. No good. Tapped out by Tucker Houston gets a fresh 14. Gives it up to Covington. They work in the corner house gets a screen for three. Mr Shot. Paul gets the long rebound trip by Tucker. No whistle loose ball. Oklahoma City has its own area. The three point line will pass inside the atoms is clearly on the deck Turns and scores. Daniel House was trying to guard him. Adams nearly fell house did and Adam's got lonely, but that's another way, run on the brake and my right to underneath the rim and turn and post and that's what he did right there under lead 8 to 6 Covington at the top shoots for three. Parker. Mrs. Gill. Just Alexander with the rebound Give T'pol straight up the middle walks right into a triple. It bounces off the backboard and rim. No good on a loose ball foul underneath. They get Tucker to on Tucker. In it. It is Did they get him? I'm not sure will see they are. They got him for a second and the Rockets are over the limit of 7 14 mark to go in the first quarter on two fouls on Tucker. Not good news. Two fouls on Gordon. And two for seven start from three point range. But Adam's down here we don't know what happened. There is Tucker took him out. Looks like grabbing the right name. They'll take a look at Steven Adams, who's up and looks alright as he walks toward the okay, see bench and we will step out of time out here with Oklahoma City, leading the Rockets 8267 15 to go opening quarter. "Had they failed to bring in a d and we saw, Domino's affects of that, would they be able to bring in another max level free agent this off season. That remains to be. Central night, ESPN radio speaking of basketball, but of a stunner today from guy who would someday like to play in the NBA, R, J Hampton number six prospect on the ESPN NBA mock draft for twenty twenty making a surprise announcement Tuesday that he's joining the New Zealand breakers rather than go to college. I just think my has never been to, to play college basketball. My dream as always debate to get to the next level in the plane MBA. So I mean, I think this was the best route for me to live like a pro and play with grown made every day and, and not have to juggle books basketball and just focus on my main goal. I feel like once I guess the nice level prepared me for all the other steps in life. I feel like it's time out for being baby outta high school anymore. So you have to be a grown man. You're pronoun, there might be twenty seven twenty eight year old team with the family. So he's got to you got to live like a product like a pro RJ Hampton seemed to narrow donnas college list, Kansas, Memphis in Texas Tech, instead, he'll play in New Zealand. ESPN. Analysts greenberg. Interesting to me. And this kid is terrific. Hitting a very good prospect say prospect, because when you're eighteen years old. That's all you are is a prospect, but he said, something interesting even dream about playing in college. Did he dream about playing for New Zealand breakers because look I understand the path? He's taken to unique Pathan. You know, he has a right to do that ever talked about the players need to get paid the A might address that without giving them an opportunity to earn money from their lightness. But this is his path. But if you look at the history and you look at the young players, let me ask you something Kevin how was college basketball for John rant? It helped him tremendously Kobe white. He wasn't a top ten before sees them as well. You know what college basketball is vehicle to get to your destination, and great experience? So look, I understand what are doing. I think it's great for him. I understand that. But, you know, I don't see that as a type of journey players will be the move could have wide. Implications for the NBA and the draft in twenty twenty the NC, double A. Maybe he's the number six prospect, into twenty twenty draft class court of ESPN mock draft ESPN's draft expert. Mike schmitz. It's a surprise, you know, there's no question there were some huge programs, obviously coming after him, I think it speaks to what the B L is doing, how attractive of an option. This is for a kid like RJ Hampton, English speaking country in, we've seen different kids have success with this route Terrence Ferguson comes to mind. But the fact that he chose this, right? There's a kid who had a thirteen hundred SAT three point seven GPA. He could have gone anywhere in the country. So I think that speaks to what the league is doing and what the new New Zealand breakers are doing. But this is a high level of basketball. You know, he's not coming in, like a Brian Bowen, her, like Terrence Ferguson. He's going to be asked to shoulder a big load for them. And so I think he's really going to be tested with the physicality but it's guards league and he's a top. Five talent. There's no question not to be tacky about this. But what kind of money are we talking about a big reason why people in the past have gone forward without going to college because frankly, they're getting exploited the not getting paid? Is this cast consideration the situation as well? When it's sweetener there's no doubt about that. I mean you heard RJ talk about this is basketball reasons he thinks he's going to progress most as a basketball player by going there a basketball decision, but from everything, I've gathered he's gonna make upwards of half a million dollars with his deal. And then you add in the ability to now go after shoot. He'll he won't be under the NCAA umbrella that could be looking at seven figures. So I think the money definitely doesn't hurt for our Jehan the quality of the league is one thing in terms of exposure in terms of -bility to grow as a player. But from a lifestyle standpoint, Australia and New Zealand specifically where he'll be living. I would presume are different things where do you think that element comes in, in terms of just the fact of an American teenager, moving overseas in such a way how much? Do you think that's going to affect decision and other players down the line their potential visit as well? We haven't seen it from a guy his age eighteen year old but America's love playing in this league. We've seen it time and time again, you know, Jerome Randle is the name that comes to mind mellow Trimble who led the league in scoring the former Maryland standout. So I really think he's gonna enjoy it. It's an English speaking country. The fact that, you know, their owners are four time NBA all star Shawn. Marion, Florida standout NBA player, Matt Walsh. These guys clearly know what they're doing of the understand what it takes to get to the NBA. He's gonna have all the facilities everything he needs to progress in from everything. I understand. This is not the last name who could potentially come into the fold year. We've heard lamelo ball as another option for this program. So, you know, I think it's a really attractive option for eighteen nineteen year old kids looking to go, this route do you think this helps or hurts his potential for exposure versus the NCAA as listen scouts are going to see you more when you're in the NCAA? There's no doubt about that. But I do think that the play against grown men every single day being able to focus on strictly basketball being able to you know, it's shorter season as well. They end in late February potentially early March, if they go to plant, so he's gonna have time to do is pre draft work is gonna have time to be able to get in the gym, get stronger. So I think, you know, there are pluses, there are minuses, but I really do think that this is going to end up being a strong decision for Jehan to no question. Scouts. Certainly we'll see you in college. They'll find you in New Zealand as well. It's the casual fan, perhaps that would not see you by the time you drafted into the NBA from New Zealand straight ahead landing spot with the raiders things going well to start with we'll find out next sportscenter allnight ESPN radio..

"The proof is in the Pennzoil case sequence for aware testing using SA five W thirty by golden winged. Go with you. Meanwhile, some news about a player who won't be playing big time college basketball, just few moments ago on get up RJ Hampton number five prospect in the class of twenty nineteen is foregoing the idea of playing the one and done role in college. Any taken his act on the road. He signed a contract with the New Zealand breakers of the estrogen National Basketball league. He announced on get up on Tuesdays at my number one goal is to play in the NBA. I want to be an NBA player for everyone. It'd be a college player. This is about getting ready for the next level more efficiently. But my parents went to college. My mom got her master's degree. Education is a big thing in our family. But this is focusing one hundred percent on. Basketball to which I say, I wonder if a lot more people down this. Well, see this is what the NBA wants the G league to be correct. This is we're the NBA want these players to go is to the G league. And quite honestly right now, Shelia pays more. I think so Gordo, I think they might pay these guys like a hundred grand where the G league. They're not making that I'm not positive the number. But yet we talked about this is exactly where I think the G league wants to be where they're going to up the pay and make it a better league to prepare them to play in the NBA where ustralia base guy said, come on guys, we're gonna pay you more comply with us and our Hamptons, you're going to do just that. And it's interesting because of that because I think we learned, especially this year, that there's definitely a benefit to the is that are on you in American college basketball over here. Zion, Zion, John Moran just signed that Nike contract, like there are ways in benefits that come with that sort of profile that you're not gonna get in this league. We're not going to hear. From him, or see him, leading up to him entering the NBA draft. So you lose some of that, that maybe the G league could provide. Absolutely. But there's also a lot of benefits to going somewhere new and different and learning about new and different things. And you know, New Zealand is a fascinating country. Australia is a fascinating country. There's an education process here that I think that a guy like Hampton will get that a lot of other players won't that will will shape who they are. Maybe as people as a wells who they are the basketball player, that's helpful. But we know this is a dollars and cents business. Good. He's still going to make a ton of money. And I guess what we're saying those coming off of what we saw was ion and these guys Duke, we've seen that, regardless of what we feel about amateurism or any of the things that are societas with, that they're tangible dollars and cents benefits to what they go through over here versus disappearing over there. Even if you're getting money in the mean what I really like about his one of the things he said he said, look Donncha, which is one of my favorite players to watch. I started following in two years before he was drafted in watching ten. Games of his this season seeing came into the NBA and being arguably the best rookie in the NBA shows that you don't have to go to college to be successful playing professionally against men helped them to get to his now that he, he did the back in compliment. He's not the fastest or most athletic guy, but he gets where he wants to on the floor and reads defenses better than almost any player in the NBA. It's interesting as part of this their preseason games. They play a couple of preseason games. They're going to be against NBA teams. So he's actually going to be playing against NBA teams, you know, year before he could actually be in the draft to play against NBA team. So he actually said, I do like that. I can kind of measure myself, even though very very early in, you know in my career there and in preseason games. But this is we will see down the road. If the NBA can get the G league up to where players will choose that over going overseas. I know we're all in favor of options for the players. And right. It's worth noting. That this is a difference from the Brandon Jennings. Emmanuel moody Terrence Ferguson. Situations where there were some questions about their academic viability going towards college. This is a true decision of no crime going to forego that in favor of this, the way Jason Fitz has raised his hand. It's very official doing a fair question to ask them all. This is much of the conversation is about the NBA. What about college basketball? I mean how consumed a concern with this, are you, if you're too, or, or Memphis, one of the teams North Carolina, that offered a scholarship here he elected not to go there as these players continue to have options might college basketball survived, through, well, they're going to survive easily because in two more years, it's not gonna matter back to one in tunnel. Be gone. So you're gonna lose high school seniors. Anyway. Get what you're saying. Right now. It's a very, very small amount in this case, the one but it's happened a couple times I get it. But I think by the time that would be any kind of an impact, it's already gonna go back to where it doesn't have to be the one and done real quick. The G league thirty five thousand a year. Australia is sixty thousand dollars a year. So by my quick math, that's twenty five thousand dollars, you get more money. And you get to play against professionals which might make your game better toward the next level. So this is a guy. He's probably gonna spend one year abroad in and then be drafted very high. He's good. As everyone says he is. I think there's tangible benefits for him. And as far as like what will this do for college basketball? You know, I mean they still have the billion dollar contract with the with CVS for the tournament. So I think I think they'll be just fine one way or the other. Right. I mean, I'm not gonna of weeping openly for the for the system that doesn't pay the players. Owners in pro sports wondering what's going in their pocket? You know, these schools are still getting their cut of find a way to surveys up in that billion dollar area. They're going to be good. Everyone loves the root for those veteran-laden teams. Anyway, all love shame in the one and done team. When it most of the time more than anything else as we've seen time and time again, coming up, what fiction has led to friction in LA. We'll get to that golick and wingo. ESPN radio ESPN news. Everything is golden. Hi, I'm Ryan Kelly. I warned everyone four months ago that this year, the purchase market would be fierce. And I was right. If you're going to get into the home that.

You've got obviously get up on them, which creates more space. But I didn't think that they really totally hurt us in a lot of pick and rolls as much as to your point. "So Donald show here on ESPN LA. Mike del hanging out with us today. Hello, buddy. How are you? What's up? I'm good. That was Russell Westbrook. You got to see him firsthand yesterday make history. Really? I mean, you, you know, he's only one of two guys to do the twenty twenty twenty one point like, Michael and John rerouting firm at one point like openly where you internally at least rooting for him or no you were selling not hourly you well enough. I didn't know so I didn't have the nipsy hustle. Like, I didn't have that story line. Right. I didn't know that like Westbrook later would of course, a reference nipsy that was pretty cool. So that kind of brings the whole thing together a little more in the game. It was just so Westbrook. Always plays even a little bit harder against the Lakers. So he was going. He was in full Russ mode in the first quarter at the tennis. And he always is going for stats the way. The Oklahoma City plays the team they all love Russ which actually give him additional respect for. So to get Rondo kind of explain this after the game to get SAS like that your teammates have to be involved. They have to basically cede rebound. They have to help you get stuff. They have to hit every shot that every single and the late the way the Lakers play him. So the whole game plan. Russ is let is basically let him shoot threes. If he's if he wants to otherwise help off everybody, but Paul George, and so that's what they were doing right. And every time Terrence Ferguson or really anybody else in the Rosser. Dennis Schroder any anytime. Those guys got the ball the Lakers left in kind of collapse into the paint. So that's how we got that. Crazy assist whole right? Like what you'd be probably better off doing just let Russ sort of shoot contested shots in the pain or at the rim. So this is a long way of saying that as the as it's going on. He's starting to get closer to the twenty twenty twenty. I was still sort of rooting. I think in my head. I was thinking if I was a player on the Lakers. I would be doing I would not want him to keep getting these sets. Think I was sort of looking at it that way as opposed to just the open route fair enough. I want to switch the dodgers here real quick because they're just playing amazing right now. And yesterday, Cody Bellinger, the big grand slam. Look, I know the bullpen stinks right now. But I was I was on one of my favorite websites to as far as the dodgers are concerned. It's a website called trueblue L A dot com. It's a Espy nation website, and they did a fan pulse. Right. Which is basically a poll do dodger fans approve of the job. Dave Roberts is doing as manager. And overwhelmingly people said yes, eighty five percent said, yes. But I'm wondering those fifteen percent like what are you? So mad about they've watched one game. Like, what are you upset about? How can you be upset at day Roberts right now? Because the bullpens thinks that this is early on him. I was I was I was waiting for something else. Seriously. Dave roberts. Why is that gonna be putting the poll right now? It's just as so dumb. We're also in political. Season. I feel like they're just doing that to kind of like play off for what what to the World Series twice in a row all his players like him. I know I was shocked even here that actually went down to four and two. They were right. They they went down from ninety two to eighty five percent actually just leak Wanda week too. I mean, come on like what is there to be upset about not Roberts baseball, usually manage? Oh, kelly. I mean, he's not very good. At least not right now. Look, I was actually thinking about the dodgers just big picture. Yeah. And some of the narratives going into the season where well, you know, if the dodgers don't actually win the whole thing. That's that's become the when you go to the World Series of the success..

"But if AB isn't willing to sign with your team, you're not going to be willing to give up as much that's his left absolute. And so we'll see he got to go out there. You gotta trade a lot for them. You got to sign him to a big deal. We'll see if this thing gets done by today or by next Wednesday wore by the seventeenth. We'll have the very latest as we go. Now NBA game of the night. And this was a wild one between two teams that if the season ended now would face each other in the first round Russell Westbrook in the thunder at Portland, and Sean farnum Westbrook. Had it going early. Well, he had that look in his eye. And there's some animosity there. He fed off the crown when you start seeing him rock the baby that early in the game, you know, going down that was interacting with the crowd. They were on him. He's telling them to zip. It Russell plays with an edge. And when he does he's fantast law. Here's where the animosity really dials up. Okay. Keep your eye not necessarily on the ball and CJ McCollum keep you right behind the play. You're going to see merkich go down. At this moment. You don't know why you're about to find out? Okay. Keep an eye here on the defensive rebound. It looks like Noor kitchen Westbrook at their feet tangled up that did not look like it was done on purpose. This was Russell Westbrook where they hip check Westbrook. It's a flagrant Nergal gets a technical keep that in mind Nurkic with a team third quarter. Now, thunder down one Westbrook three he thrives on the hatred from the crap he was fishing in his numbers last night as well outside of the turnover issues that he had Dane Willard though. This was a showcase of two of the most underrated guards in the NBA, Dane litter. Guler absolutely fantastic is the most underrated player in the NBA in my opinion. He was scoring fifty one last night. So we were tied. They're tied at one eleven twenty five seconds ago hall, George goes, no good. Terrence Ferguson right place right time for the pullback and bad news for get a rough night. Look at this fan. Takes the elbow right to the face. He goes down. He would get up and stay in the game. You know, fouth hold on that play whatsoever. So. Get popped in the jaw your a little salty that mishap. Yes, this is where the salt comes out just over ten seconds to go merkich fouled on the put back. George are going to get into it referees to separate the two nook. It's gets a second team. He's thrown out of the game. And here's what I thought it was basket interference. Then you have the head. But that's going to happen right there. Second technical foul that allowed Billy Donovan to somebody on the free throw line. Anybody this choice? He picks Scotla busier who hadn't attempted a free throw all season long tough spot. He misses the first he has to miss the second intentionally. Okay. It looks like Oklahoma City is going to win. No hold on. They call a foul under the basket. Now through Camino is going to go to the line. Brutal. Call anytime on a free throw line situation. There are going to be people that are going to be banging into each other that giving opportunity they hit both. That means overtime. So the thunder now inbound it didn't meet overtime because it was still three seconds to go. Russell Westbrook has a chance to be the hero. But he loses it out of bounds. Untouched. Lose it off the left hand. A coffee turnover. So now, there's two seconds left. Ken Lillard, be the hero. He's gonna get an opportunity for a half court. Heave four three four the win. Are you kidding? No, not even close. So we're going to the overtime as you spoiled thunder down to swear pulling up hitting the three he loves feeding off of the crap he was playing with such energy and such an anger in his game. And this is the thing that stood out to me watch him ship to another dear. I mean, he just drops the Hamer there, and there's nothing you can do defensively in transition to stop it wanna to win. This was for okay seat, thirty seven points for Russell..

"By westbound across the timeline kicks it out open, George left wing three. No good Westbrook goes into the air. Tip the rebound. And it's a foul called against boss did on Rorvik on the rebound. Four foulon. Tyree, but Tyree got the worst of it. They have gotten an elbow to the eye or something or you're banged down there also. But again, Billy Donovan with an excellent move, Marcus smart, set the screen Terrence Ferguson switched on. And then Russell came in double Kyrie got caught in the air with no way to go. That was the turnover. You can't get a better look than Paul George. Got. He missed the three that would have cut this to one point Westbrook. His worst season at the line sixty five percent. I one is up in good though. He's as clutches they economies an eighty percent career shooter one twenty seven hundred twenty four forty six seconds to go. Brad's got the clipboard out that probably means the time out and could be a two for one. Second one is up and good. Russell westbrook. One points, forty six seconds left. He's not gonna use it. Now, he told them he made the call. He told Marcus smart what he wants to see if they go to for one produ. It's speed here in Boston. Kyrie Irving has it. Between the rigs against Bergerson works left off the Horford screened throws no Horford right-wing covered up by Adams back to Irving with five shoot Irving drives past barcus at eight of the lake. "So is that just like start the rehab and now he's still rehabbing with the team are they clearing him someone else. Clearing, him wise, and he's still in L A, if he's not cleared for basketball activity, yet shocking laid off something with Markelle folds doesn't make any sense Bontemps reported that Dwayne deadman is someone that the Sixers have interest in and but the other issue there is that match out not necessarily for him because they do a scholar there. But the Sixers just don't have the matching salary ran into this issue in the trade deadline as well. And they would probably have to trade Marco Foltz, but buttons reporting something that I think we've heard a number of times that there's really certainly not any kind of decent first round pick available for Marquel? What else we got? We can go from there to the Utah Jazz who are still missing a series of players. They got Ricky Rubio back, which is great. But Dante Exum will not be back until after the Australia's not even going to be reevaluated until I think during the all star break, probably similar timing with NATO's has grown issue and Taba. Who has a hamstring issue? Those guys not as specific timeline yet. But we're going through that. And they got absolutely worked by Dame CJ and the Portland trailblazers in the last game of the night on Wednesday for Washington. Dwight Howard is out at least through the all star break who's supposed to be two to three months that we're coming up in the two month. Mark right now with that lumbar back issue that he had the could still use one more big. I mean on me, he me, you know, Howard. It would at least be better than him. But you would imagine Thomas. Bryant would continue to start Dhamar Droese missed three straight with knee soreness. But he was supposed to return on Thursday after that horrific. Spurs win with Rudy gay hitting a the big jumper. Although Gregg Popovich said the sun's deserved to win that one of the us. Probably right. I mean, the the Spurs definitely kicked the ball all over the gym late in that one. And then in okay, see, Billy Donovan was asked about this. He said I can't provide really any kind of an update on under Roberson. So this is kind of starting to feel with all the setbacks that he's had like, it's just. It's gonna be like a season ender for Andrea. And I mean, given the amount of time that he's missed in the severity of his injuries. You would think if he's not backed by early March it's gonna be kinda hard for him to get up to the level of just playing playoff basketball it with the emergency. Terrence Ferguson lately will see whether that keeps up, of course, maybe it's less of a concern than it would have been. But Ferguson did miss the game against Orlando with a back injury. And so did Stephen Adams who I mean almost never misses a game. He had an ankle injury. Must have really been injured unclear whether those guys will return on Friday, and probably one of the thing. We didn't talk about what the Lakers Lonzo as put out there that he doesn't want to end up in New Orleans. He wants to get routed to New York or Chicago, while New York won't be taking on his salary. Sorry, unless they can get off some and. I mean, it'd be nice if the bulls could get him he's probably better than Chris done. But I mean, I don't know that he has any power as guy on the second year of his rookie contract. But I mean, certainly getting sent to New Orleans would be a disaster for lavar ball, but you know, Lonzo there's even if he reaches his potential, it seems pretty clear to me that he's never going to be good enough to be like selling all these shoes or like, you know, his own brand or any any of that stuff. So he probably should've taken the money from from the shoe companies had offered it to him when he was a rookie. That said it is also unusual to see a player who is under contract. Get get it reported where they wanna go because that generally just doesn't matter. He'll like where where you we don't get reporting on. Oh, Brandon Ingram wants to go play somewhere else. But because they're still the cachet of the balls that still gets out there..

"Better a little bit better and e- does benefit from playing with guys that sometimes do not have the goal of rebounding the ball themselves. They have some Wales. Also, he's toned down his turnovers a lot which I think is is useful. Some of that is just being put it in a more reasonable circumstance. But like you I mean, I'm a little bit skeptical of of the three point shooting. I'm forty six percents ridiculous for almost everybody in the league. But he not only see making forty six percent of them. He's taking forty seven percent of his shots from three the good part about that is he's not taking many mid Rangers day are actually going in. But again, dealing small sample size sized theater there. But something that's concerning for me with with him more. So than for for Isaac who has had a similar jump off. But with a different simple as that. I don't trust DJ Wilson finishing a ton around the rim. I agree. And so that kind of the idea of what the theory of him is an offensive player. You know, maybe a low usage kind of not quite like, Terrence Ferguson. But that idea of like that the best thing he does is space the floor that sort of an idea, and then, you know, maybe you can do a little little something attacking? Cozy a little more versatile in that personally a little bit. But I, you know, it's kind of the the idea that you don't necessarily want him to do a whole lot more than that. Unless it's just like, you know, the two dribbles and a good decision type thing which actually do like him doing. I was something. I'd like from him and Michigan. Yeah. So I mean, I think he I agree with you about his finishing. I think you know, he's not gonna quite go up and dunk on new. I mean, he'll go for some tip dunk. Every once in a while he can get some not like ridiculous L us, but he can go up and get that on occasion. But yeah, any kind of contact or around the rim if he'll go to some soft hooks as well. I was very impressed. Just with how he operates within the bucks offense. You know, pretty decent insist rate for a guy in his role two point. Oh assists for thirty six minutes and just see him. Make a lot of good decisions with the ball. When he gets cut off. He's able to find three guys able to screen an pop body's gotten some of his threes on a play where it he'll screen for a guy coming out of the corner curling into the lane. And then it'll pop out above the break for three pointer. When he's swung the ball up top. And he's able to make you know pass fakes if the drive is there hill take that. It'll swing the ball to the right guy. The makes a pretty solid decisions defensively like much better against smaller players than bigger players at his length has caused problems for guys if he's we haven't really seen him watch off his eyeso- possessions. We haven't seen him really tried to defend any smaller perimeter players who are are really big stars. You know, he's trying to like late clock against Glen Robinson, the thirty. I just completely swallowed that up. He can poke at the ball to that something that players are taught to do a little bit more to to get the often to player out of rhythm when he's trying to attack switch, and then even if the guy does create some separation he's able to contest surprises guys with his contested and his long arm. So I like that a lot, but the physicality is made some strides you might say, but he he's gonna get bullied so I'm trying to guard Blake Griffin. Just couldn't do it. Even fronting the post on occasion. I mean just gonna get pushed up the lane. He had to follow SaaS. Pachulia twice wins. Ostlund was trying to post jobs as not exactly the biggest post operator in the world when Blake was able to make a catch on. He's able to go right through him. They had descended -mergency help. Well, the answer your question is the Lakers injury wise, they're fine as long as LeBron is fine. And historically, this is the thing that I wrote about over the summer on Lakers com-, if LeBron is healthy is a good proposition because he's almost always healthy. Now, this happens to be a believe is I muscle type of injury. And so that's concerning in one sense that he hasn't had that type of injury before. But he he. Lonzo they're not those young guys are not yet capable of playing against Paul George. Russell Westbrook and crunch time. That's why you need a star. That's why you need the brunt. And he's kind of he is just frustrated in every conceivable why I love his -bility to attack the rim. But it's been the motto of inefficiency for west Bilbo percentage the worst ever in his career to shooting percentage the worst ever in his career. You're going to see a bunch of it. Here's this. Russell westbrook. Missing shots, not necessarily easy ones. But stuff you would expect Russell Westbrook to make so frustrating night for him. Now, forty seconds left in the half. The game is tight and here's Paul George on his former teammate land Stevenson and watching work one on one. And that's how you the best part about this highly won't be the move. It won't be that Paul George had thirty seven. It's Russell Westbrook coming over and playing get tar letting lane Stevenson in the there it is making.
