"Tell you a secret just between you me and D.C.? Oh, okay. All right, I am watching the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football. Okay. And I am scared for Washington on Sunday. Jalen hurts has been unstoppable, leading Philly to a 21 to 7 lead as this one approaches halftime. His numbers are pretty crazy. 14 of 1692 yards in a touchdown pass, he just had an amazing touchdown run in which Dmitri and I were just talking and it's harder for us to get into the studio than it was for Jalen hurts to get into the end zone on that play. He's got two rushing touchdowns, 41 rushing yards, so he has been unstoppable, the eagles on a roll there, cruising past the Minnesota Vikings there, and they're not even at halftime yet. The Buffalo Bills speaking of cruising, they've scored in every quarter they are up 34 to 7 in the third quarter on the Tennessee Titans and you want to talk about unstoppable. Let's talk about Josh Allen. 317 passing yards four touchdowns and three of those scores have gone to the former turf Stefon Diggs who has 12 catches for a 148 yards. God bless you if he's on your fantasy team. The Washington commanders in Ron Rivera's offensive line? Yeah, they need to play better than they did in Detroit. They were often the first half. We missed a protection, and we missed a couple of run blocks and got to give them credit on one in particular. They were able to cover pretty doggone well. And we didn't have time to throw the ball. Yeah, referencing that play they went for a safety, the O line will be without center chase RIE for a while, Rivera said that he is probably headed to short term injured reserve with a leg injury suffered in that loss to the Lions, the nationals running out of chances in Atlanta, they trail the braves 5 to two top of the 8th inning, the Orioles broke up Tyler Alexander's no hitter with a pair of 7th inning singles, but the Detroit tigers putting a 9 nothing hurting on the Oz in Baltimore, rob would fork WTO sports

Is Justin Simmons the Best Safety in the NFL?

"Number one, story right now at Denver fan dot com, you're looking at Justin Simmons voted league's best safety while Peterson wrote about that if you want to check that out on the website and fan dot com. It is Justin Simmons the best safety in the NFL or was he just voted the best safety in the NFL? You know, it's a great question. He's always, I think stoke really summed it up well when he said any given Sunday he can be the best safety in the NFL, but there are some guys, you know, there are some really good safeties in the NFL bayard comes to mind with the Tennessee Titans. If it's Patrick, make it Fitzpatrick is a really good place. There's a Berlin James Derwin James is an absolute that guy is a difference making. He's a beast. But again, he plays differently. He's down in the box, 90% of the time, or 80% of the time. So it's just the kind of it just depends. He's a different cat,

"Where Detroit was most successful this season throwing it to backs and tight ends. The Bengals were top 5 in defense of efficiency defending those two position groups. And then obviously, since he's done a very good job stopping the run when you spend a $1 trillion on DJ reader and then you have two good run setting edges who one you bought in for agency in one year. You extended a very good defending the run and so Detroit 36 rushing yards on 18 carries. It was just a bad game plan. It's a matchup nightmare because you stopped the run and then the only thing you were relying on is golf throwing short and as I alluded to the bangles really defend that area of the field well. So good to see the bangles get on track, big game this weekend, we'll find out if they're truly for real. I think they're improved. I don't think that's a debate. Joe burrows starting to come around a little bit more and you have a ton of weapons. So this will be a big test for them against the ravens next weekend. There's no doubt when you look at the pecking order in terms of the NFC north, every team, at least 500 or better, the browns and steelers picking up the rear at three and three. But the Raven's a game lead on the field of Cincinnati checks in at four and two. Division that we thought was going to be extremely competitive coming into the year, but we thought it was going to be potentially a two, maybe three horse race at max, and now suddenly a four teams that are relevant will see who can remain above the fray. What else did you see pain in the positive manner that stood out? I'm sure we're not here to keep accolades on the Jacksonville Jaguars getting their first one of the season or anything along those lines. No. I think you go with the Vikings. I thought that was a massive game for their season. You'd get back to 500. Offensively, they were outstanding. Most yards in 17 years of that organization, third most yards in Vikings franchise history. I came should have never found its way into overtime. In Minnesota outgain Carolina by more than 260 arts, Kirk Cousins was fantastic, 7 explosive passes, completion percentage 6% above expectation. And I think the biggest thing coming into that game when you broke it down was which team could get pressure on the quarterback because both offensive lines have some question marks. And I thought Kirk Cousins kind of won that battle. And the O line did a good job. They created some holes for Dalvin cook, but cousins was pressured on 17% of his dropbacks. Sam darnold's pressure on 36% of his. And part of it was quarterback play part of it was the game plan. Because if you kind of just look at time to throw, cousins got the ball out at the fourth fastest rate this week, darnold the 6th slowest. And I think that made all the difference in which of the quarterbacks were pressured and ultimately which of the offenses succeeded. So I think you give the Vikings offense a ton of credit there for going out and you hate the label at a must win. But huge game either dropped to two and four or 500 and looking ahead to the rest of the season. I did think Zimmer kind of crapped the bed again late there. I just did some of the decision making is just driving me nuts with that team. And you have a chance to seal the game away late. By kicking a field goal, and I'm not saying you attempt the Uber long one of the 50 plus variety to go up two scores. But that probably is a chance where you give your kicker a shot to just flat out end the game there. But some of the play calling. You need a couple yards you're at the 35 and then on third down, we're pitching the ball four yards behind the line of scrim, and then we get stopped and Zimmer, the conservative Manny is. Takes a delay game and punts it. And then you have Sam darnold pick up two fourth down conversions on your defense. So good performance from the Vikings, hoping for a little bit more from Zimmer. It does look like his defense starting to come around a little bit, though. Oh, I think the defense is gonna be well into the top half of the league by the time the season continues to unfold this way, but you're right. When you talk about late game decision making, Minnesota has done nothing to make life easy on themselves. These are games that they should be winning and finding separation, whether it's against the Lions, whether it's this particular spot, you can only live on the razor's edge so long before we see these tight games go against them and what exactly we saw early in the season. But Minnesota anyways moves to $500 of their biweek coming up and we'll see what this group looks like going forward. In a good direction, I'm not sure if this is good on one team and bad on the other a combination of both. I want to give the Raiders some credit. The market absolutely hated them this week. We saw Denver from a three point favorite out to 5. We know that there were multiple buy points on Denver. It didn't stop the Raiders from dominating the game and for those folks it didn't watch 34 24. Not nearly as indicative of the dominance that we saw from the Raiders. A game they led 31 to ten going into the fourth quarter, they were able to hit countless explosive plays over the top. They got Henry ruggs involved and actually averaged 8.2 yards per play. They had 52 offensive snaps to 77 for the Broncos. And yet again, pain, raiders, they get credit, and I guess it provides a logical segue into the disappointing or the good the bad and the ugly as we call it for Denver's defense. It's just flat out didn't show up for the second straight week. What you're seeing from Denver is a couple things, right? The schedule got more difficult. Offensive weapons got injured, you're without Judy and handler. The O line got banged up. And Vic Fangio's defense keeps having brain farts and they're getting lost in the secondary right now. 16 explosive passes they've given up the last three games 7 on Sunday to the Raiders. That's good for 31st and explosive past defense the last three weeks. And my understanding is if the big play prevention doesn't get rectified on a short week against Cleveland, there could be some changes to some position coaches on that Broncos defensive staff. That said, I think Derek Carr was fantastic. And I think you credit him for being later this week with everything going on..

"FanDuel dot com backslash bet the board take full advantage there. And I know you're an NBA guy are you excited for Lakers warriors to tip things off on Tuesday? I guess. I didn't really. I kind of got out of the NBA a little bit over the last couple of years. We were doing some things on totals there and yeah, just kind of went away. That's what transpired there. It's kind of all I can divulge. I've been doing as much in the NBA. As we were two years ago. Only so many hours in the day to try and cover the entire sporting landscape. You did well there. Yes, that's one reason. But as we begin to put what we saw yesterday in the National Football League in context, kind of wanted to get your thoughts on some of the main takeaways for everything you saw transpire thus far during and a week 6. Books did not have a good day from the sounds of it. That was a rough one for the house. It wasn't a great weekend for us. That's for sure. It was one of our worst I shouldn't say, worse weekend. It was a down weekend for us, and although it could have changed a little bit. We had Dallas late I'm sorry, Jesus. Rough morning. We had the Patriots plus the points late in that did not go well. That actually would have been the page of someone who had been in break even weekend for us. Baltimore is the one that we regretted. Not playing should have should have been there in that one. That was a game that we liked kind of broke it down. Frustrating, because you call exactly where the market's going to go. You know, you knew that game was going back to three. That was the side. That's a regret that I have this morning. He's not playing Baltimore yesterday. Well, it's also good to see other major football publications come out after in the wake of the Chargers lost, talk about how they need to be more effective and efficient on third and fourth downs. Pretty sure that's a narrative on third and fourth down? Yeah, on third and fourth down, the Chargers have to be better than excuse me. The luck ran out for the Chargers on third and fourth down. I'm glad that finally got out there in the wake of a 34 6 loss instead of people actually talking about that beforehand because I'm not quite sure what podcast had mentioned the fact that the Chargers had to be better with an early down success rate if they were going to continue to be a freight train rolling down the tracks. That one was give Baltimore credit. That was a quick turnaround. And the energy they had to exert Monday night. Right, it wasn't just one of those games where it's like, you know, they played Monday night and that thing was wrapped up minutes into the second quarter. That was one where they had to fight back. They exerted a ton of energy. Down double digits against the colts and then to turn around against an opponent of the Chargers caliber, I thought it was really, really impressive. And ultimately, Brandon staley's style. Just didn't work. He hasn't changed things. I'm all for the way he is constructing his defense. But at some point, you do need to match up to your opponent and play his style that's a little bit more conducive to each and every single opponent you play versus just saying, hey, we're going to do what we do. And I'm making that sound extremely simple. But again, did not put a ton of guys in the box yesterday. And that really allowed Baltimore to control that game. And then obviously the third and fourth down luck, the Chargers just didn't have. And the ravens were able to play keyboard. I was looking this morning. Charges only had 21 minutes of possession. And then, of course, as the article alluded to, that Herbert heroics finally ended, and the charges were four for 16 on third and fourth down, and the average 1.8 yards per play on those two down. So the pitch pour early down offense the charge of basically had all season finally came to bite them against a top 5 defense on third and fourth down in the ravens. Now it did help Mike Williams was banged up. Chargers couldn't really attack Baltimore where they were most vulnerable, but I don't think that would have changed things. The ovens did nothing. I mean, the points they put up on the board were basically turnover induced. And it was a very simple game plan. It was one that you kind of see play out. And I think that's why it was so frustrating to me. He's like, you're like, we're able to be able to run the ball here. Yeah, if they just kind of sit back and are good on early downs, I got a really good third and fourth down defense. They should survive this. And both things came to fruition and I don't have a penny on the Raven. So quite frustrating there. Well, when you look at the ravens, their upcoming opponent will be in the division against the Cincinnati Bengals. I know a lot of people go, well, the bangles beat up on the Lions, but as we remind folks all the time around here. It's not about just winning. It's about exceeding odds of meeker's expectations. And the band goes put an absolute thumping on Detroit in what many perceived as a flat spot. We know there was a battle back and forth down to three, three and a half, even some force on game day, but it was more about Cincinnati defensively pain that really opened my eyes. I mean, they held the Lions largely in check from start to finish until Detroit moved the ball to make the box score look a little bit better with some garbage time yards and points. That was a really interesting game from a market perspective. Because early in the week, I want to say it was either Monday after we were done recording or first thing Tuesday. It might have been late Monday. You know, I got a note sent to me like, hey, really like the lions in this spot. And that was the initial move from three and a half down to three. And I just like can't do that one. The matchup is just horrible. And then eventually we saw another group spring into action twice. They laid the three. It went out to like three -20, and then they laid it and laid that again and it went out to three and a half and as you alluded to on game day, even some of the sharper shops trickled out to four before I guess there were some value hunters on the lines. Cincinnati, though, to your point, it's not shocking. They spent like a boatload of money on defense the last two off seasons. And it's paying off. And then they fought in their own class and dominated. I would say they actually went down in class, right? This wasn't Aaron Rodgers in the packers offense. This was Jared Goff. Detroit had 3.8 yards per play in a 43% success rate. And coming into that game, I started looking around because I just felt like I was missing something. I was like, man, there is a real battle here. Someone sees a massive edge, whether it was the Lions or the bangles, guys were fire in that game. And I went and looked.

QB Ryan Tannehill Among Nine From Tennessee Titans Positive for COVID-19

"That we need to realize is gonna take a not just now in the preseason. But this is going to be an issue when we actually get Into the regular season. And that's covid. Okay. We see what happens with Cam Newton wasn't eligible to return to practice until today because he was away from the facility and he's not vaccinated. You need Take a test and come back, not positive, and even in the case of the Tennessee Titans They already said a couple of days ago that they had seven players. That they've had to put On the Covid 19 reserve list. This week you got Mike Rabel, their head coach who tested positive for Covid on Sunday and Ryan Tannehill. He's now a part of that group. Ryan Tannehill tested positive for Covid 19. And if you recall, it was only a few weeks ago that Ryan Tannehill was one of the players who basically said Listen The NFL is basically forcing our hand here. And as a result, Ryan Tannehill he got vaccinated. Even though it sounds like he didn't want to. He did, and he still tested positive. Now, having said that, as a result, Ryan Tannehill, he's gonna miss 5 to 10 days and he needs to produce two negative tests. Two consecutive days. Okay, the Titans they get going September 12th. I think that is enough Time to hopefully get Ryan Tannehill back up and running, and their general

"But whatever as long as we're good i'm good. Yeah for an hour good so for now. Oh yea they might get test positive. Wouldn't that be something who i'll be. Pures yeah i know exactly. So we'll see we'll keep an eye on that but for now they don't have any cause for concern and be a said they're touching base with the league to see if there's anything else that you know the team needs to be doing in the meantime them off you notice but a trial and changed his name his last name. His name played on his jersey is now try show inca. It's pronounced strange a thing. I'm pretty sure it's not showing yankah like it's like. It says no better in the broadcast. But i forgot engine and that's what i went. That's not how it spelled. I know but he did that to for because of his dad right. His dad's last name is trisha. All right we gotta talk. Yeah yeah good dad. Some love we have. The top. ten unveiling are the top. Yeah the top. Ten unveiling coming up infiltrate up tim well while they relieve the forty through eleven so we got those and then they released the top ten but not in that order so tom. Brady's in the top ten. We know that we just don't know what position he's in. He's the only buccaneer in the top. Ten wow we just want a super bowl. I know but like all the top ten. Is it mostly quarterbacks. Is there anyone who's not a quarterback in the top town. Hey you deandre hopkins and yeah. He shouldn't be let him. what are they doing. Where is the list here. The list on Yeah i mean there. There's quite a few on the top. Ten that i was like what i mean. How was gronkowski not in the top. Nfl one hundred song score. Absolutely you are correct in seeing the but we should mention devon white got number twenty eight which that is just. I was surprised pleasantly surprised. I'm glad that he's getting the logs. And you know. I almost feel like he has got such a huge personality too and i think with love on like that might have been why he hasn't gotten the recognition over the years is because he's so calm and quiet and he's not yet reserved not as in your face as devon white south. That's probably part of the reason that he hasn't gotten allow that bucks fans no he should have gotten. Yeah that's that's how you knew back when he's nfl. Things started coming out. Wayne fell one hundred. They were just bs. Because davis never on 'em good it's kind of like the pro bowl you like how in the world he's got better stats and luke keithly every year..

"If you thought to thinking about subscribing to it don't yet until they get this stuff worked out they. They've totally removed. They used to have an option where you could slow moen you could. You could press a button and it would play in slow motion. They've removed that. It's gone so now you have to pause pray play pause play and that's what i did with this painter hudson bucket. I'm i was like what is he doing. What did he jump while the ball was still in the air. You know what i'm saying. I mean is like to trust. Threw the ball almost as soon as he threw it tanner's jumping know so he miscalculated and when the ball was in with each of 'em he had the stretch out for it bounced ran off his hands. Get just get angry thinking about all this. So anyhow Tennessee the thirteenth dolphins a series. They start on the fifteen Woodside's back in his quarterback They go four four three. We kept them thought and they go four two four three about our seven. We stopped them. Flaw that was good. Actually a tackle for loss so then we get the ball back. Its fourteenth series for is who had. Trask is still out there and quarterback restarting in our seven We advanced the ball. We're moving the ball down the field we got the fifty and then Eighty three tj simmons. Drop pass on third down so then we tried a sixty seven yard field goal for a rally on -pinion opinion out their opinion because he's got a strong leg. Well the ace said that he had made that during practice so they wanted to see their gala. Try it that would have been the not a record because a regular season game but it would have been a record for sometime. I'm sure six seven yards any. That was the end of the game. They get the ball. They kneel down to thirty four and three. That was it. Does ugly game ugly now. There was some good stuff to it. O'connor great stewart great hanson. Good offensive line looked good. Kappa gave up that one sack. That was just really weird. Glossed spun around like he. He was like looking for somebody. It was almost like he went. I'm supposed to block guy but there's nobody here to block. So maybe he's sacking quarterback so he turned around a look. That's when the guy who was supposed to block just ran right past him very story. Yeah but overall. I think offers of land looked pretty good depth. Looked all right lance promising. Look i think the biggest thing take away from this. Is that like we're going to have to rely on all these guys to be start like i feel like are. The purpose of our depth is to fill in win if in win. God forbid anybody gets hurt. And i think a lot of these guys you know. I'm thinking of The linebacker core have a midterm Ross cockrell like we have good depth already and the guys out here during the tennessee game. It was not those guys. So we're looking at like third string you know like outside linebacker. We got try on the garbage goals play. Yeah i mean other clinton you'd like to three snaps. Maybe yeah so. The guys were looking at here are not..

"Woodside's back out their quarterback they got a three and out. We gotta sac on third down. That was steward combusted. In stewardess somebody else cutting catches number stewards liking i. Now he liked kill that he was doing everything he had six tackles allow a fac at c. Three t. f. one quarterback he led the data sheet on the defensive side of the ball. Great he didn't tired too. We were looking at that when he came out. I was like he's gonna get tired. He's going to tire never did And it was. It was a good sack too. So you know i like him. He and he plays he might have secured himself job. He plays a lot of energy man. He really he really goes all out. And he's mr la relevant last player picked in the draft. I willing to make the team. I now i really do. Here's a good personality and you do you feel like he played hard. Thank trying yeah. Yeah and that was the third down sack the third down sack sir. Extremely important as the best us so they ended up putting. We got our eleventh series on offense going in trask. Fumbles it way. He's he's just scrambling you know. He he does a bootleg out to the right as he's looking down the field hit. The ball just comes out of his hand. What i jay was winston stuff there. He just dropped the ball. Basically the silly fumble. I was recovered by the bucks. A next play chassis. Thursday eighty five mickens beautiful pass if number. Twenty four from tennessee. Wouldn't have been in the way. It haiti right. In the back of the helmet he was covering mickens and trask throws it hitting him right in the back of the helmet and it bounces up in the air. He i mean the guy wasn't even looking. He was looking at tennessee. Tennessee got number twenty four. He was looking at mickens. And yeah it hits hits twenty four right nevada helmet pops up at the air tennessee. Interception hit like. Oh my gosh kim. You know that the world was that you know here you are. You're running around you. Drop the ball on the ground. You fumbling it when there's nobody you. Then you throw the ball and hit the defender in the helmet. Pops it up interception. How tennessee gets the ball. This is their eleventh offense of series Barclay's back out there. They're just swap and quarterback back forth now and he throws it the kinsey number twelve touchdown They broke losing coverage number. Thirty eight so now. A probably a good thing because he got burned quite a bit in this game so now here. It is latino three in the fourth quarter. It's thirty four to three to slack. We'd wit almost like like very quickly very very badly so then our twelfth series twelve in serious. Trask is still out there. Sour grayson with a great catch deep. number fifteen then Number twenty four to one..

"So i could see where that would be a fumble. But i didn't see him complete the process of the catch well. He caught the ball and he turned around. He took a step. Maybe a step and a half going down the field and got a hit in the hip and it jardim sideways and the ball came out and got wedged in his in his Between his bicep and his floor. But it didn't move. After that. I mean he gripped it. So if you're going to say that's a catch. He landed his hit in the ball. Popped out okay. So it's a catch like they're saying catch and fumble. Then he was down when his elbow head roy so it didn't come out before his elbow hit no no it shifted and moved but he retained possession of it didn't move after it moved initially and the ground cannot cause from all grabbed. It causes mama. No he so you know it's worth those weird ones where you're like man. What do you call there. you know. i was at a catch That's completely debatable. Me you know he. He got one step in basically may be one and a half step but he got hit as susie caught the ball. Almost you know. And that's when the ball came loose. So if you're going to say it was a fumble you have to sample the fumble from that point. You say what i'm saying and if you're going to say that's the we're the fumbles started than to say. It wasn't a catch right because you didn't complete the process through her. It's a so it was just a clustered. Buck all the way around. I mean it is but anyhow. I think they made the wrong call. It looked to me like he caught the ball. It did move but he retained possession of it all the way through to the ground and then when he hit the ground is elbow hit first right dan. it should have been completed. Catch right there. And that's a rendezvous was saying on the broadcast. Yes pretty vocal about being unhappy about the call because it didn't move after that after it moved. Initially when he first got hit he he pinched it between his bicep and his forearm and it was just hang in there stick in there but he had a solo and then when he hit the ground he hit with that elbow in that cause the bottom. How the so you know that was. Just one of those weird fluke plays and that guy. Yeah yeah in. Then course the refs totally screwed up so right there. That's when this game got totally out of hand ages. Went stupid from there So that made it twenty two three in the third quarter twelve to So we get the ball game. This is our ninth offensive series. We moved the ball about twenty yards and then punit tennessee. They get the ball. They're night dolphins of series. I started on. Twenty five at woods is back in as quarterback and on third and two. They got off of offensive encouragement Offsides encroachment of neutral zone penalty on us which gave them a first down Then that's win Fitzpatrick number ten at that long. Bomb from woodside on twenty nine wilcox and made a twenty seven. Three wilcox screwed up on that he he came running forward. Receivers shot past went. Oh crap he turned around trying to catch up with him could note. It seemed like he got burned a couple times. Yeah at twenty nine. Do we release him no logo. So it's twenty seven to three one forty six in the third quarter Bucks tenths offensive series. Trask is out there third three now. We didn't do anything. tennessee's tenth series offense series..

"Data blow the whistle so yeah they just retroactively called it a sack you know. It should have been a a formal. And we got the ball but they. They blew the whistle. Not out now act. We decided to try on had him in his grasp. It is an ankle So anyhow tennessee got a fifty eight yard field goal. They were like. Let's go for it because it was so stupid. As if you're dumb fifty eight yarder. How did we not block them for one every tried. That's why we had a darden in the zone to fit would catch shortly was gonna rock return that it is. We're like that contingency plan. No yeah so you know. Here we are were add It's thirteen three now. Eight seconds left in the second quarter. We the ball we knew. Okay they come out. We kick into them. It's the eighth offensive series for them and they got a great special teams return by tennessee. kinsey is out there number. Twelve and the he got some great catches in this series but It was three now again. What is it five. Six three and outs to tennessee's have you know we played pretty good up to this point. We were just making simple mistakes dumb snakes so anyhow we got our eighth offers a series of the are out there. This trask comes out. We started on our six yard line. Tater hudson had that weird catch. And that this is the fumble return for a touchdown. Oh on that was so curious. Okay said they called it a catch. Then a fumble. It an inner city touchdown. But i didn't to see the whole process like to me. It okay was it a cat so if it's a catch at what point is he down to me. The ball was already coming out before he was down so it didn't seem like it was a catch at. Aw like did he make the catch to be a catch. You have to make a footba move for. So had he made a football move. And i guess if he had then it came out before he hit the ground..

"On the ensuing kickoff we kick it eighty third. They're they're number one starter. Chester rogers still out there. Return kicks he gets a huge return huge. I was like sixty seventy yards and ankle tackle by painting. Remember that barely got him. And i called back exactly. Yeah and this was a b. call. It was a call by the rafts now with the kick with kicking. They've changed all kinds of rules. You did it a few years ago and you can't double team block anymore. You used to be you could like former wage. Can't even do that now. You can't even stand side by side with a guy now. You can't even have two guys on one or what happened with this guy is he kinda got caught up in the scrum and he they basically ran in the and it ended up being two guys blocking one of our guys that had nothing to do with the play. It wouldn't have helped if he you know if the guy would. It laid down and not blocked. It wouldn't have had anything to it was totally on the other side of the field. Is one of those plays where you go man. That's crap you want to see good football and that was good football in chester. Just blew a hole right in us. Man he i mean he. It was a great run on hill. The horrible tackling on our part again. And the you know the rest of screwed that up. I was like the get there was nothing the guy could have done you know. They ran in the hill basically I guess what he could have done was just curled up in a ball know could cause all he did was kinda. Just you know blocked up little bit. Neither just was basically defending himself and he got called for double team block So anyhow they get the ball. They're audiences they're six series. Now woodside still out there Third now three now Great defensive play in that series on inundated. Move the ball who designed by by by him. So then it's our ballgame seventh offense series. We start on our thirty three. Not bad field position three and out on third in three is the one bernard drops the ball third and three right in his hands. Bounce right off is one of those who you just like what That's what we got you for. Dude has really good pass. That was a great touch and everything all right. So then tennessee's they get their Seven series fourteen. Matt barkley comes out there. They start on their twenty one so this is bad field position for them. You know a little bit They just ran the ball. Denver got wall where two forty-three twenty some yards Try and had a sack on that. That play was pretty good but he. That's the one where he grabs him by the ankle and hold neum in the barclay threw the ball. It should have been a fumble because it came out of his hand I remember that. Yeah but they said they'd said they blew the whistle which they didn't blow the whistle and they said he was in the grasp he wasn't in the grass train heading by the ankle he was staying. He was perfectly standing up and he threw the ball came out of his hand. So what's the argument. If he is in the grasp at that point the sack already he down..

"Of them And villainous sack a will get into that later he got beep and then he just sat there and watched the guy and the guy hit. I think it was at the time. I think it was griffin in griffin fumbled. The ball and luckily wofford fell on it. But the whole time howard was just standing there watching. It i just. I don't like his attitude. I think he's about out in tune for a couple of years now. There were rumors of years ago that he wanted to be traded. He didn't get trade at you and think that attitude with change when you get the goat and y'all win the super bowl but well here we are your you'd as you get drafted nineteenth in the first round everybody makes big to do about it He comes in and cutters offense and he's is lighten it up and then he gets hurt in the next year lights up again he gets hurt and then the next year gronkowski comes in and takes his job you know so you know and then he gets hurt again so you know he might be like. Just give me out of this place. I just you know he wants to go somewhere where he could be a starter. You know in doesn't help. Maybe not get hurt so according to the depth chart he is a starter deck. 'cause we got to tight end starting. Yeah but at this pace would surprise me. A they put breed they should rate has earned it. So anyhow we move down the field pretty good against their first string defendants with our second-string offense But then that happened and we ended up putting the ball Would they had their first string power. Turner back their chester rogers. And if you remember they let us up all night. Long in kickapoo returns so then third first offensive series. They put their second-string offense at their now. They did a weird thing where they had number five woodside the quarterback he played like up into the third quarter. I think you know. I mean he played the whole first half and then they switched out with number. Is the matt barkley matt barkley and he played for series. And then when todd came back out really In the weird way do jazz. Very strange men barclay came in for a couple of passes. The woodside came back in for russell. Gabes very strange. I couldn't figure out what the heck they were doing over there. Don't think they knew what they were doing. Over there except wepener buds. Yeah in the quarterbacks had crazy path. Iranians matt barkley had one thirty four point one and liga woodside had one thirty nine point six so they did pretty well. Woodside went seven for eight. For sixty four yards and a touchdown and barkley had twelve. I sixteen hundred fifteen yards two touchdowns so Do they did give three facts. Yeah we were getting to him. But our second was doing their job or linebacker. The lot of their stuff was over the middle linebackers. Were getting torched So then you know our first defense series. We had our second string defense out there but we got a lot of guys that have a long experience on her second on our defensive line the go connor nacho of mcclendon. I mean these guys have been playing for a long time or slash. Got a lot of reps with the first string. Defense due at the years so We we got some We held them to a three and out in their first offensive series. And.

Let's get started so with the eastern conference right now. You obviously have four teams left in the playoffs. The first matchup like said nets versus Bucks and then. You have the hawks versus the sixers on. Let's start off with the omnivorous buck series of the nitrous buck series right now. The nets jets the played on a monday They be milwaukee to go up to wo that matchup in that matchup It was utter dominance by the brooklyn nets Milwaukee really get things growing early In one of the best players. Chris milton who had an exceptional series against the miami heat. did a really do a great job of Showing up for game two With game to you look at the game. Recap this game The final score of this game Was brooklyn nets. Won twenty five milwaukee bucks. Eighty sixes was a blowout But this was in the biggest blowout in bucks history. The biggest blowout in bucks history was against chicago bulls they lost a damn By fifty or something Of that matter. So it wasn't the worst lawson the postseason in of Marquee bucks history but it was still Pretty Bad and disgraceful. If you look at it from a milwaukee fan standpoint but With this game. I mean there are zero. Lee trains is zero on times the The game was tied Brooklyn came out of the gates. Early they're up on first quarter. Thirty six to nineteen at really. No one really stepped up. After that. I mean i said chris middleton didn't really have a great game He was seven twenty from field. Thirty five percent from the field Three from three point range thirty seven percent. That's not terrible but same. Tom's thought the best He scored seventeen points and all had five turnovers. One seal one assists and five rebounds as chris middleton as a player who is probably the second best or third best player on this team. He needs to produce a lot more in order to take care of this brooklyn team. This team keep in mind. Didn't have james harden either. He acted a game one with a tight hamstring and he was ruled out for game one and he was out for game two. In how with that. Now the brooklyn nets up to now comes the question of when you bring by. James harden the series with this series. Right now i think that brooklyn's really rest them for game three. See how that goes on the Boats home floor with that Kevin durant his post game after game to that They knew that Milwaukee will come out Both come out guns blazing For game three. I believe so. It's gonna be interesting to see This team who didn't really shoot well. Shot forty four percent from the field and twenty nine percent from three to really like turned tied around and go back to their home floor because there are two games at home versus miami. They're dominant and they were just raining. Threes down left or right but overall You look at The brooklyn that side of things. Kevin durant and kyrie irving still got a their points. I mean kevin durant thirty two points. Sixty six percent from the field sixty six percent also from point range same. Exact percentage from the field and three point. Then we look at car. Read nine for seventeen fifty two percent and fifty percents from three point range which twenty two points. I mean very very efficient offense right now from brooklyn nets standpoint Carvey irving along with his twenty. Two points had six assists foul rebounds. Kevin durant with his thirty. Two points also had six assists and Excuse me four rebounds But overall Atop tough game two on gained. Three's going to be even tougher for both these teams seen pj tucker You know foul out or not fell out a beginning Get in foul trouble early on. I think really put them in a hole on really gave gave kevin durant some room to work etc Wraps or some fans. I would say didn't really like the rest play calling earlier in the series but always say this Being a athlete you cannot Release on the collision level and a lower levels You cannot change the rule of the official. Now that's different in a professional standpoint because in the nfl and in basketball now you have a challenge and with the basketball basketball now on zoey one challenge at one challenge only with the nfl. I believe you can have two challenges and if you win both those challenges. I believe in the nfl. You get a third challenge for free But i dunno. That's changed over the years or not but overall i mean this this this milwaukee bucks team could be the best defensive team on paper indisp- playoffs because you have jahns onto the kubo Brandon defensive player to year and him Also drew holiday. He's no scrub either. I mean he's a very very underrated shooting for his position he can do everything on. Offense scored a ball He can he can facilitate impassable and get the ball to open teammates than on the defensive end He could guard a your best player one on one etc But he he was really the only guy in this game dot thought. He's actually being consistent but his team mates are really doing the job of following suit. But it's tough going against this Brooklyn seem i mean. They have won the best players if not the player ambien cavalier. And then you also have kyrie irving right now who is doing a great job as out second man and is producing really well. That was the guy who is Came into the playoffs and said look for the brooklyn nets right now. Cavalry and james harden are Heard are gonna get. There's meeting that they're gonna get their shot attempt. You know twenty five twenty six shots and probably score twenty eight thirty points. Something like that of hikari some consistency though some effort etc and right now he's proven that to me from top to bottom with his regular season. He had a season where he went. Forty percent from three point range. Fifty percent from the field and nine percent for the free throw line.

"Positive. It's Super Bowl Week. The Patriots, however, are not playing. But of course, Tom Brady is perhaps you've heard his 10th Super Bowl he and drunk Rob Gronkowski or taking the Buccaneers. Two Super Bowl. 55 4 Tampa Bay. It's the first time they've been in the big game and 18 years, CBS News correspondent Mark Strassmann reports from the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Something about their relationship clicks do that was great. That was perfect. That was just what I needed in Tampa. They have a weekly show Tommy and Gronke. I love to score. There's no such thing. Has more When I'm out at the campfire. I took us more girls. The kind of guy had come over for a cabaret here in that time, maybe for like a like a glass of nice. Tennessee Titans kicker Stephen Gostkowski is an ex Patriots teammate. What was the secret to their success on the field Just now about those guys work extremely hard. It did with the Bucks. "A hell of a lot of fun this week. We'll see if my vision that I envisioned comes true bears have a 21 Nothing lead. Some vision. That's right. Which takes him down. Seven. Nothing. Pick six off of a tip. Pass or fumble hitting the quarterback. 14 get a stop. Go back down Another touchdown, 21. Nothing That happens that way. I tell you that Z You better play the lotto or something. That would be amazing. All right. Carl was take a look at the best friends is that attraction is with us here. What is the most layoff game here for the playoff? We get the one that you would not touch at all with someone else's money. I don't plan on making any play in the last game of the weekend, and that is the Browns Steelers game. You know, the trends here obviously screamed Pittsburgh Steelers for a lot of reasons Pittsburgh seven and two against the number and its last nine home playoff games. That's very strong, but this line's gotten close to a touchdown because of everything that's happened in Cleveland this week. I don't think Baker Mayfield going past they have been able to practice the head coach won't be there. There's a lot of uncertainty, and it's just not a game that I want to mess with, because this was closer to a field goal game before all this happened. It's just to me. It's what I'm going to stay away from me. I will tell you Here's another trend in a lot of it is perhaps somewhat lopsided because Cleveland's been so God awful since coming back into the league. But to say that big Ben has dominated this division rivalry is an understatement. And then some boys Ben Roethlisberger in his career against the Cleveland Browns, try 24 2 and one Wow. 24 2 and one You see Juju Smith Schuster hoodie. Never looking at it. Firing on the Bronx. Same old browns. Same careful when you start doing stuff like that, silly. I mean, your longtime broadcaster. You gotta know not to say things like that. Do you think? See he doesn't get it. See that car every morning. Excuse me, Schuster. So let me ask you another one. Just want to ask you about the running abilities of the Tennessee Titans. About both teams in that game. Both can run. They're the best. But they're running abilities of Tennessee, which keeps Lamar Jackson off the field. Can they shocked them again? I mean, they've won the last two. They want a playoff game last year, and they shocked them. When Baltimore is the top seed. You know the crazy thing, guys, and sometimes this just happens and JD was talking to guys about how crazy playoff games can be. Baltimore dominated the stats in that game, and I mean completely and thoroughly dominated this that's and they lost by like 16. I go, you go figure. I mean, if you're hoping the Bears can somehow pull a miracle like that's what you need to happen. You need to have some sort of craziness and sue a fluky turnover. And Tennessee kind of turned the tides in the last game. They played where they were trailing, and they got to turn over in the fourth quarter, and that sort of got them going in the right direction, and they beat the Baltimore Ravens. I kind of like Baltimore here. You know you're at home, though it seems like Tennessee that won 11 games, getting points, getting about a field or even a little bit over. It's very tempting. It's very enticing. The thing I like most in this game is the total and it's a big total guys. It's 54 a half, but I expect this to be a real shootout. Baltimore's offense has gotten on track. They think Lamar played a little bit better. As the season went on. They won five in a row. Tennessee can score and Tennessee's defense is not good. And in terms of its you know, some of this Some of the more traditional numbers, you look and say, Well, okay there about the top half of the league 29th and defensive devi away. So the advanced Metrics do not like that defense at all. They don't like the past defense, and I think it's going to be running gun up and down in a shootout. Now, why should be three? Nothing at halftime, But I think that game is going to be the shoot out of the weekend. I gotta be honest. Now the polar opposite. I want to ask you. Why is the total down on the Rams and Seahawks in front of me? I have it at 42. It's the lowest total out of all the games this weekend. Do you see it going on? Well in Seattle. Yes, yes in Seattle. Seattle's offense did not look good in the last half of the season for as good as they were in the first eight games. To be honest, the Rams, meantime, have the best arguably the best defense in the NFL. Statistically certainly one of the best defense is in the NFL. The Rams allowed the fewest points per game. Rams allowed the fewest yards per play their second and sacks behind only the Pittsburgh Steelers. And this is the team that Russell Wilson has struggled against Guys. Do you know that Russell Wilson has started at least four games against 10? Different teams in the NFL? Okay. He has a winning record against all of them, except one take against the one team, the L. A Rams eight and 10 in his career. So it is low, Probably not a number. I wanna mess with one way or another hoody. If you force me to pick I would say it'll go over. I do think the Rams are the play in this game. No getting the points. And here's the other trend guys just to know going into this weekend and maybe we're due for a correction. Maybe it's a statistical anomaly. The last three seasons. 2017 18 19. Guys know what the underdogs are in the wild card weekend. Remember, this is the first year we've got six games. The underdogs are eight and four straight up and 10 into against the spread. That's the last three years on wild card weekend..

"Night the Tennessee Titans travel Baltimore to take on the ravens it's a chance eleven years delayed for the Titans to exact a little revenge because they were the number one seed in two thousand eight the ravens rolled into town and feet the Tennessee Titans knocking them out of the postseason just a couple weeks after LenDale white Keith bullet could desecrated the terrible timer that came late in the season Steelers Titans in Nashville winner would be the number one seed Titans one and they were stepping on the terrible talon otherwise defiling it and something to Kerr said in on the Titans that extended for years I don't know where they didn't exorcism or what but I remember seeing some stories about efforts to try to get back on the right side of karma for what they did to the terrible town and to the extent the curse is gone men may give the tides chance to pull off a victory in what should be a hard fought gritty tough game the focal point of the game Lamar Jackson and here's the thing mark Jackson we think this is his playoff debut don't worry because this is the year he took the NFL by storm he took the NFL by storm in such a significant way that we forget last year he did carry the ravens to the post season and a host of a game against the Chargers they won the division and the charges came in and shut them down creating the narrative that when a team sees Lamar Jackson for a second time that team may be better suited to figuring out how to stop it that was before Lamar Jackson reach the level of performance that became beyond eye popping so I don't know that that same theory applies this year and nobody who got Lamar Jackson the second time of course it was only the bangles and the Browns ultimately saw the second time this year because he didn't play in the rematch with the Steelers but it's not like anybody was able slowing down the second time around the charges though last year in the first half he was two of a passing for seventeen yards and an interception in the fourth quarter though he woken up it just was too late Lamar Jackson was asked by reporters yesterday what he learned from last year's post season loss to the Chargers too late or you know you had a tech fashion mobile home I don't really matter what court it is what you first a second you know you gotta tell you got to just finish the game strong you can't just go in the game plan have you know half **** do you have the same results Lamar Jackson has done nothing this year to make us think that he woke trip over his own two feet over my grateful suggested tying his shoes together may be the only way to stop it nor Jackson has been special mark Jackson has a year after after my homes revolutionized the quarterback position Lamar Jackson revolutionized it in a different way here's the question well the decision of coach John Harbaugh to give Lamar Jackson three weeks between games we all that cause him to maybe be a little rusty out of the gates this gets back to what I was saying earlier as relates the Vikings forty Niners it's that boxing match with the heavy favorite champion getting knocked a little wobbly early by someone with nothing to lose who is willing to crank up at roundhouse punch and deliver it could the Titans do something early it gives them an edge and gives the ravens that fourteen into means nothing today everything we did from September to December means nothing today all those blowout wins all those great performances in prime time running over the rams tearing up the jets winning winning winning winning winning twelve games in a row meaningless is it all could come crashing down on Saturday night remember when it happened nine years ago it was a Saturday night game the falcons were the one seed in the NFC Aaron Rodgers and company at a time when we weren't sure what Aaron Rodgers was going to be remember that they went in to Atlanta and destroyed the falcons destroyed them so look I like a good story I like a good chaos although ravens forty nine is would be one hell of a Super Bowl see that's the thing I remember nineteen eighty five rating for chaos when the patriots played the dolphins in the AFC championship game in chaos came and it's like are crap we don't get to see the dolphins in the bears rematch in Super Bowl twenty he can we let the dolphins advance anyways please please are we take a break the Panthers and the cowboys introduce their new coaches will tell you what.
