"The ten people killed in three injured in a racist attack at a buffalo supermarket a year ago were remembered at a memorial service Sunday. A bell told 13 times for them and their names were read outside top supermarket where victims families and others, including governor Kathy hochul, who noted the anniversary, fell on Mother's Day. The cruel irony behind the fact that it is a day we celebrate a life that comes into this world, making someone a mother is also a day we're here to think about those who are no longer with us. Buffalo mayor Byron Brown as well as Senate majority leader Chuck Schumer noted how the family's pushed through the pain to get gun laws passed. We couldn't do it until the families came down. Tucker Carlson Exposes the Truth About Mandatory Pronouns

"Stell want to play a piece of tape here and we could talk about it. Tucker Carlson pushing back against the mandatory pronoun regime pushed forward by the alphabet mafia, if you want to stop being lonely if you're lonely in this audience, let me give you some advice. Speak your mind. Stop self censoring a remedy to loneliness is courage. Play cut one. So for every ten people who are putting he and him in their electronic JPMorgan email signatures, there's one person who's like now, I'm not doing that. Sorry, I don't want to fight, but I'm not doing that. It's a betrayal of what I think is true. It's a betrayal of my conscience of my faith, of my sense of myself, of my dignity as a human being of my autonomy. I am not a slave. I am a free citizen, and I'm not doing that. And there's nothing you can do to me to make me do it. And I hope it won't come to that. But if it does come to that, here I am. Mandatory conformity actually creates loneliness. It's rather the opposite, isn't it Stella you would think that, oh, everyone agrees then you have something that you know, but if you do it by Fiat, you force people, all of a sudden you have a society that isn't using reason and when you're not using reason, you actually end up really miserable your thoughts, Stella. That's exactly right. No, that was a dynamite clip. And it's so true. Most people who go along with this stuff don't really believe it. I mean, unless they've really been absorbed into the matrix of the Internet or whatever. Most people don't really believe that stuff. And they go along with it because we are hardwired to connect with other people and the flip side of that is we have a primal terror of being ostracized.

"23. I'm Anthony Davis. Law enforcement officials swarmed and entered a white van on Sunday afternoon that officials suspected was driven by a gunman who opened fire on a Southern California ballroom dance studio, killing ten people and wounding ten more. Police surrounded the van with tactical vehicles and bomb squad trucks for hours before going in, a person's body appeared to be slumped over the wheel and was later removed from the vehicle. Los Angeles County sheriff Robert Luna identified the suspect as 72 year old who can tran. Luna said Sunday the man killed himself as police officers closed in on the van that he used to flee the scene of an attempted second shooting. The manhunt came after the gunman killed ten people at a ballroom dance studio late on Saturday, amid lunar new year's celebrations in the predominantly Asian American community of Monterey Park. He likely tried and failed to target a second dance hall, authorities said. The van was found in torrents, another community home to many Asian Americans, about 22 miles from the second location. The shooting sent a wave of fear through Asian American communities in the Los Angeles area and cast a shadow over lunar new year festivities around the country. Luna said the shooting at the star ballroom dance studio in Monterey Park left 5 women and 5 men dead and wounded another ten people. Then 20 to 30 minutes later, a man with a gun entered the lie lie ballroom in nearby Alhambra. The suspect entered the Alhambra club with a gun and people wrestled the weapon away from him before he fled Luna said. The massacre was the nation's 5th mass killing this month. It was also the deadliest attack since May 24 when 21 people were killed in an elementary school in uvalde, Texas. A new search of president Joe Biden's home in Wilmington Delaware on Friday by the U.S. Justice Department at the request of The White House found 6 more items, including documents with classification markings, a lawyer for the president said in a statement on Saturday night. Some of the classified documents and surrounding materials dated from Biden's tenure in the U.S. Senate, where he represented Delaware from 1973 to 2009, according to his lawyer bob Bauer. Other documents were from his tenure as vice president in the Obama administration from 2009 through 2017. The Department of Justice, which conducted a search that lasted over 12 hours, also took some notes that Biden had personally handwritten as vice president, according to the lawyer. The president offered full access to his home to allow the DoJ to conduct a search of the entire premises for potential vice presidential records and potential classified material power said. Justice Department investigators coordinated the search with Biden's lawyers ahead of time Bowers said, and the president's personal and White House lawyers were present at the time. Earlier this month, U.S. attorney general Merrick Garland, named a special counsel to probe the matter. Special counsel Robert Hur, who was appointed during the process, is investigating how the president and his team handled Obama era classified documents that were recently found in Biden's private possession. Republicans have attempted to compare the investigation to the ongoing probe into how disgraced former president Donald Trump handled classified documents after his presidency. The White House has noted that Biden's team has cooperated with authorities in their probe and had turned over those documents. Trump resisted doing so multiple times until an FBI warrant search in August at his Florida resort. From beach cities to snow covered streets, abortion supporters rallied by the thousands on Sunday to demand protections for reproductive rights and mark the 50th anniversary of the now overturned roe V wade U.S. Supreme Court decision that established federal protections for the procedure. The reversal of roe in June unleashed a flurry of legislation in the states, dividing them between those that have restricted or banned abortion and those that have sought to defend access. The women's March, galvanized during Donald Trump's presidential inauguration in 2017, amid a national reckoning over sexual assaults, said it had refocused on state activism after roe was tossed. A dozen Republican governed states have implemented sweeping bans on abortion and several others seek to do the same. But those moves have been offset by gains on the other side, abortion opponents were defeated in votes on ballot measures in Kansas, Michigan, and Kentucky. State courts have blocked several bans from taking effect. Myriad efforts are underway to help patients travel to states that allow abortion or use medication for self managed abortion. And some democratic led states have taken steps to shield patients and providers from lawsuits originating in states where the procedure is banned. Organizers with the women's march so their strategy moving forward will focus largely on measures at the state level. But freshly energized anti abortion activists are increasingly turning their attention to Congress, with the aim of pushing for a potential national abortion restriction down the line. "Schedule your free estimate today It's 1211 It's been one week since ten people were killed at a Buffalo New York supermarket The alleged shooter a white 18 year old targeted the black community investigators say according to a new Washington Post ipsos poll three quarters of black Americans are worried that they or someone they love will be attacked because of their race We've got Washington Post polling director Scott Clement with us live Scott thanks for so much for coming on with us on a Saturday Three quarters of black Americans you surveyed That's a lot of people who are living with this fear That's right It was the question we asked We didn't even mention the buffalo shooting but clearly the sense of vulnerability is pretty widespread right now And we asked some of the same questions that we asked very unfortunately two years ago following George Floyd's killing by police and Minneapolis And we found similar results big majority of black Americans said they felt sad 62% said they were angry but just 8% said they were surprised Just 8% of the people that you pulled were surprised by the attack You also saw in the write up on this very small percentage of people thought racism would be solved in their lifetime Can you talk about that Yeah so we ended the question We ended the poll with this question over the rest of your life Do you think the problem of racism will get better or get worse or stay about the same And the optimistic position was held by just 10% of black Americans saying that things will get better during the rest of their life 53% expect them to get worse 36% stay the same And we found similarly pessimistic views when asked about the breadth of white supremacist views something that typically asks about for racism broadly but the motivations of the alleged killer seem very clear here we wanted to ask about that Okay Scott thanks so much for breaking this down for us It's Washington Post polling director Scott Clement joining us live on WTO Coming up we'll have the latest on Tiger Woods third round from the PGA Championship it's 1213 Our.

"To the community mourning the loss of ten people following a racially motivated mass shooting at a grocery store Mark we're seeing the mass shootings in Charleston South Carolina El Paso Texas and Pittsburgh Last year in Atlanta this week in Dallas Texas and now in Buffalo in Buffalo New York White supremacy is a poison and poison running through it really is Running through our body politic And it's been allowed to fester and grow right in front of our eyes No more I mean no more We need to say as clearly enforces we can That the ideology of white supremacy has no place in America None And look Fairly fresh to not say that failure is saying that It's going to be complicity Silence is complicity It's complicity We can not remain silent Our nation's strength has always come from the idea This can sound corny but think about it What's the idea of our nation There are all children of God Life liberty our universal goods gifts of God We didn't get it from a government We got it from because we exist We were called upon to defend them The venom of the haters and the weapons of war the violence and the words and deeds of the that stalk our streets our stores our schools This venom this violence can not be the story of our time We can not allow that to happen Look I'm not naive I know tragedy will come again It can not be forever overcome It can not be fully understood either But there are certain things we can do We can keep assault weapons off our streets We've done it before I didn't want to pass the crime Bill last time And violence went down shootings went down They can't prevent people from being radicalized to violence But we can't address the relentless exploitation of the Internet to recruit and mobilize terrorism We just need to have the courage to do that To stand up look the American experiment in democracy is in a danger like it hasn't been in my lifetime I should endanger this hour Hayden fear of being given too much oxygen by those who pretend to love America But who don't understand America To confront the ideology of hate requires caring about all people Not making distinctions In the scripture the scene that we're all part of the divine Love thy neighbor as thyself That's the American I know that you'll know And most deserve the most look we're the most multiracial most dynamic nation in the history of the world Now is the time for the people of all races From every background to speak up as a majority in American and reject white supremacy These actions we've seen in these hate filled attacks represent the views of a hate filled minority We can't allow them to distort America the real America We can't allow them to destroy the soul of the nation That's my wish for us We can do.

"So i think one of the most important things to build an inspirer team for high performance is this. You need to hire smart people and get out of their way. You hire people so they tell you what to do and not the other way. Be a leader. The job of a leader is to build inspire helping them understand what the mission and vision is and giving them the metrics at the same time giving them the autonomy to execute make sure you have the objectives and key results in place give them the mission the metrics and the values the mission and the vision is important because they know where you're going long term the metrics are important because then they can measure they know what they need to stay on top of day over day to hit that and the value is very important because you can go anywhere in life but what if but you don't wanna break ten things you don't wanna hurt ten people. You don't wanna step on toes right so the value core values as a company's important like maybe empathy at. Maybe we all grow together as a team. It may be. Don't do evil in the world but if you give higher smart people who who you want to learn from until they tell you what to do and get out of their way give them the mission the vision the metrics and the us and then step out of the way be an input not an approver and there's a big difference there if you're an approver you become a blocker and i've been a victim to that if you're if you're an approver you are you the more you say. I wanna prove things. The bigger the blocker you become and more you hold back in the progress of your company. The other thing i would say is higher for trajectory versus experience. There are some people who may not have the experience but they have the passion and the conviction for the aircraft and people with immense passion and conviction can move mountains lot of super value here fire nation hire smart people and then get out of the way i just love that blunt and i love that vision to because we get.

Why why from the community. The experts don't the experts no more than anyone that this is a jumping off. Point should have been. You're probably done yes. Well why the other way. Then why. Why do they. Experts seem to be going against. What an expert would know. There was a study. This is not too sure on your point. But it's why they sort of backed off that. Which was there was a study that showed only thirty percent of people. Have what glenn. And i have which is sustained antibody. Response the pride. There was a study. That said hedrick clark was dangerous. Study everything you're right and but not only the problem with that study is not that showed the antibody taper. Went with abundance of caution caution so here. We are right. Have zero tolerance. But here's an interesting thing. Okay okay. It's my new thing. Okay but hold on iran. You didn't hear me. I heard it. I saw. You tweeted it too yes. So but here's the thing. You and. I have talked about the trolley experiment before so let me let me a way of evaluating ethics is through this experiment. A thought experiment called the trolley experiment. It's essentially this. You've got a trolley running down the tracks. Ten people are in it You can pull a switch. That trolleys is gonna go off a cliff. You can pull a switch to make that trolley. Go off to another direction. But it's gonna kill two people to save ten. Are you gonna pull that switch. Yeah you always have to do that okay. Now there's another version of trolley experiment where they go okay. You're standing on a bridge. There's a guy standing next year. The big backpack You gotta push him off the bridge to save those ten people in the trolley. Do you push him off the bridge. You say yes. Well that's how that's how basically every movie for a weird way. So i'm i'm concerned that the public health world has adopted your possession. Which is that.

And then there's also i believe a community aspect of it so you can talk or build extra things in there that specific to i guess your community. So it's an amalgam of a lot of things but i'm not i just i didn't quite get it even when i talked to those guys and i assume that the way that they need to make it work or to be able to prove a concept is by volume right. Everybody wants volume. It's like you can't figure out how to create this product or to see if it works if there's like ten people in it so they've got to aggregate as many things as possible in a perfect world. Everybody would have in quote a station. And that's where. I think i get confused. Because they're changing the if they were just an aggregate her app thing. It would be station for my show. It's called my confined apple podcast and other seeing so it's like and that's where i think that's where the confusion lies is that they are They have an idea for the product of what they want it to be like and it involves a changing of of the language. But it's sounding weird to us right so if they would have said like at your show to this new destination or this new distribution channel. I think that would actually not be as weird as if like here claim your station right because that's a different language in. That feels odd. So i get it. I've seen it. I've i've looked at it. I think we have a station in there for she. Podcast as well It's just hard to do this. I mean even our friends over at pod chaser have worked very very hard to get as many shows in there.
