Remember When Maxine Waters Encouraged Supporters to Harass Trump Admin Officials?

"I want you to remember just a couple of years ago when Maxine waters, they're not related. That's one tee. I think Jesse has two teas. Maxine waters was out there on the streets of Los Angeles, telling her minions to rise up and absolutely harass conservatives. Trump supporters in the streets at restaurants at bars at gas stations and every conservative in America was outraged. And you know why they were outraged because the Democrats did exactly what Maxine waters said. And you had people like poor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, eating at a chicken joint in Virginia with her family and she was literally thrown out of the restaurant. We can't be doing that as conservatives, ladies and gentlemen. That's just not who we are. It's not right.

San Diego's Office of Race & Equity Might Be a Violation of the US Constitutional

"This weekend I was looking at something that the city council in San Diego, unanimously approved setting up. Something called the office of race and equity. And then mayor of San Diego, Kevin faulkner. One of those who sought to replace governor Gavin Newsom. Who, by the way, criticized me during the race. I didn't criticize a single one of my Republican rivals not one time. But this guy teed off on me several times. After city council in San Diego, this is back in 2020 September. Unanimously approved creating an office of race and equity. Here's what he said. I enthusiastically endorse it. Establishing an office of race and equity is an important step forward. As we work together as a community to eliminate the historic inequities and barriers that have existed for so long, $3 million. How $3 million is going to eliminate equities of San Diego beyond me, but 3 million 3 $1 million. I enthusiastically endorse it. We've had an equities for too long. Office of race and equity. If it is set up because San Diego is engaging in racial discrimination, that's illegal. That's a violation of city law. It's a violation of county law. It's a violation of state law, it's a violation of federal law, and it is a violation of the United States Constitution.

Is America Becoming a Land of No Consequences? Rep. Devin Nunes Shares His Thoughts

"Congressman Nunes, I didn't want to spoil your day. I just wanted to tee that cut up to ask you a question that I have to give full credit. I lived in Hungary after the fall of communism the land of my parents birth. And there was an issue there in the 1990s. Nobody, not one person paid the price for the crimes of the prior regime. There was no truth in reconciliation, no truth committees, and one day a very bright philosopher wrote a big article, changed the overton window. And the title of the article, a congressman was is our nation becoming a land of no consequences. I look at America in the last 5 years. I look at the lives of Schiff, the accusations of Brennan of Comey of mccabe of stroke of Lisa page. And I see one lowly lawyer at the FBI get a slap on the wrist, and I have to ask you as a person who's down the most to get the true story out. Is America becoming a land of no consequences congressman? Well, I still have hope, and you have to have hope in this line of work. I get up every day. I live in California. I'm coming to you from California where we got fires burning all over the place, so you got politicians running around, screaming global warming as my constituents and my family are engulfed in smoke, just ash and smoke that are coming out of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. So you got to get up every day. We're in the trenches here. And you've got to have hope that things are going to get better. But to your point, things have gotten progressively

Wet Notes - 9-27-21

"This is wet notes here on scuba shock radio for monday. September twenty seventh two thousand and twenty one first up. I want to congratulate tech clark and a dive locker. Podcast on celebrating the second anniversary for those who don't know about this. Podcast tech. Started this to help die professionals with various topics and techniques. But it's not just for dive professionals. I remember listening to the first episode. Way back in two thousand nineteen just before dima that year i've come to look forward to each weekly episode tech plans to keep the show going and has teed up a lot of great new content for the year year ahead. So i'd encourage you to check out the dive locker podcast. There's a lot of great information and perspective on things that hopefully will give you something to think about. Scuba shack is a proud patron of the dive locker. By the way tech also hosts a podcast titled the league of extraordinary divers. Where you can listen to some of the giants of our industry. Great job tech. Keep it coming now. I don't know what it is. But i seem to be a sucker for a message in a bottle story. So here's another one this time. The story involves a bottle that was washed up on the shores of the big island of hawaii. The bottle started his journey thirty seven years ago from japan and it was put in the water by school children. As part of an experiment in monitoring ocean currents the number of bottles were cast into the ocean in nineteen eighty-four from choshi highschool hawaii's about six thousand kilometers or four thousand three hundred miles from the launch point now. The bottle was found by abbie graham while her family was visiting a beach near hilo. It is estimated that about seven hundred and fifty of these bottles were tossed into the ocean between nineteen eighty four and nineteen eighty five. The last time one was found was in two thousand and two on kake. Jima island overall. The bottles have been found in seventeen. Different locations including okinawa the philippines china and even the west coast of the united states. I just get fascinated by these stories and often wonder just how many messages in bottles are out there in the ocean now. Last week we got an email from the clearly clearly came in resorts and it wasn't good. News clearly came in resorts include cobalt coast on grand cayman. Little came beach resort and cayman. Brac beach resort. The news informed us that the cayman borders will remain closed until two thousand twenty two. Now that's tough at a recent press conference to premier indicated that phase. Three of the original plan will start sometime. In february given the rise in cove in nineteen cases the resorts are now planning on opening on february. Fifth two thousand twenty two. Now this has been a really tough situation. If you remember way back in april i reported that the plan was to open in late april or early may two thousand and twenty one. It's been a long and difficult road for a lot of places. Surely the caymans are feeling abroad. We hope it gets resolved before october. Twenty twenty two trip yet. That on certain there's been a great deal of communication coming from tom. Ingram the president and ceo of dima the dive equipment marketing association regarding the two thousand twenty one show in las vegas. Tom unequivocal be states. That the show has absolutely no plans. Of cancelling now they did indicate that accordance with the local health mandates. Everyone will be required to wear a mask on the exhibit floor. There are several large past exhibitors. Who are forgoing the show this year causing some to question whether it should even take place. I know we've been getting a lot of surveys from our vendors as to whether we plan to go or not right now matt and i will be there. Tom indicated that it would be extremely difficult to cancel at this late date. Given the contracts that are in place and that if it were cancelled it would seriously impact demon's ability to put on these shows in the future. So we're looking forward to a successful show this year out in las vegas and finally today. I wanna talk about a piece of underwater camera gear that you might just want to consider. There was an article from sport diver magazine by john widow titled great camera accessories for underwater photography. It was a scuba lab review of the products that the staff took diving at alexander springs in central florida. First on the list was a sea life. Sport diver smartphone housing. Now that's pretty cool. I can remember my first. Underwater camera was sealife. Reef master with a whopping three mega pixels now. This housing will fit a number of iphones and android smartphones. The housing is bluetooth enabled and his rate it to one hundred and thirty feet. The sea life sport diver smartphone. Housing comes with a vacuum seal and duly alarms when you purchase the housing. You'll get a free app that will give you access to most of your phones. Usual camera functions also included is a red filter. And if that's not enough to housing allows you to put in those sealife life color changing moisture. Munchers he i remember those now. The housing isn't cheap. It retails for two hundred ninety nine dollars and ninety five cents. Us but if you wanna travel light and still get some great underwater shots of your adventures check out the c. Life sport diver smartphone housing at sea. Life fash cameras dot com. Well that's it for this edition of wet notes here on scuba shack radio.

How do you like to explain that to people. All right so yeah. Women's sitting is actually a cold. That is one of the major types happening in close centers around the world in different industries. Right so you call to make an appointment if you're going to a dentist hospital when getting table at restaurant You know like slaw in retail case. I don't change the oil in car your car tires to get a reservation hotel booking at a spa anything that involves like more lengthy complex negotiation of time. You'll call instead of using something online because you have a question. You're not sure maybe you're just from a different category colours where you know you're much more comfortable cooling than using an app. Maybe you're looking for something that doesn't have a centralized app. That people used to book right in you. Just wanna make sure that it gets done. So it's a huge opportunity right and it's a huge opportunity across all of these different sectors to really good way for companies to start exploring the high utility of conversationally. Bitcoin and Bidens Infrastructure Bill

"So. When i hear infrastructure i think of roads and schools but biden has made the argument that tees investing in human infrastructure so that might include childcare paid leave. Maybe free community college but cryptocurrency. How does bitcoin tie into all this and definitely a strange thing to include in an infrastructure bill for sure But when you're trying to pass a big bipartisan trillion dollar bill paying for so much stuff in the country. There's a lot of people who are asking. Well how are you going to pay for it right. And that was one of the reasons why cryptocurrency was included. These new tax reporting requirements would raise an estimated twenty billion dollars according to some of the senators to offset some of these infrastructure costs. Twenty eight billion dollars is not a small amount of money and it is a very pricey bill but what was it about the original language in the bill that raised alarms right so it wasn't the fact that there'd be heightened tax reporting requirements. It wasn't really. You know the total essence at the bill that it was a definition of the word roker and the way that it was worded was a little too vague for some senators. Especially senator ron wyden. Who feared that. This of broker would end up extending these cumbersome packs reporting requirements to while developers and also cryptocurrency miners. And why does the crypto community argue that developers and minors should be exempt from reporting requirements. Well they're not really making any transactions right there mining cryptocurrency themselves. They're you know creating the wallet. Infrastructure for these transactions that. Take place but it's not necessarily a transaction and of itself right. We heard lawmakers making that argument on the senate floor this week. The underlying text of this bill would impose this kind of transaction reporting requirement on crypto transaction validates. These are the people that are building out the blockchain by validating a transaction they would be obligated to report things like a name and attacks. Id number associated with the dollar amount. They don't have that information

"Now to welcome in a somewhat regular guest here on the behind the podcast. A friend of mine. Brian win horse. Who is also in las vegas and we have yet to connect though brian how are you. I'm getting up at like five thirty on some of these days and teeing off by seven to try to finish before gets it gets ridiculous but i'm really enjoying it to be beat the heat. It is pretty ridiculous. I mean. I know it's hot in the summer but it's gotten out of hand a couple of times one seventeen the other day Tell you what. I bet you saw. Popovich getting up at five thirty losing some sleep perhaps because team. Usa not looking good right now and we know these sort of narrative with the international play is that they're more if more continuity usa is going to get everyone's best shot but this is this is really unexpected here. Oh and two out of the gates. There's another game coming up tonight. Eighteen and a half their lane to argentina. I liked them in the first half minus ten and a half but just in general is their level of concern here for a team. That's minus four hundred win the gold. Yeah by the way one of the things about tonight's game. I don't know how who's going to play for the us. They don't have a huge selection of wires only got nine of their Of their national team players because middleton holiday inn booker are in the final so they they've got some some other young guys there but it's considering it's back to back and not only. Is it back to back but yesterday's game was a five o'clock start and this today's game three o'clock local. I'm not sure what you're going to see from the us that game but argentina's in the same boat and Their in two so far so You know. I think there's two ways to look at this on one hand The teams that. They're playing her so much more talented than the teams that they were playing. Even five to seven years ago You know i. I mean i made a deal of this to you. Know they beat. Nigeria nine years ago when olympics by eighty three and five years ago by forty three but the team. They beat five years ago. Didn't have seven. Nba players on right and not only that but one of their best players Okafor jalil okafor didn't even play against the americans. He came back and played against the argentinians. On tuesday and fifteen points so they didn't even face a full scale nigeria teams. You can believe that it's not comparable but the other side of that is. The us team is loaded. You know two years ago. I went to china with team. Usa and they finished seventh in the world cup. And you know really was their worst finish in you know you know since two thousand four athens games which they still won bronze in but their worst finish over in the world cup and that team it. Just frankly wasn't very good. There was only one or two players in the whole roster would ever even been all stars and so while you can look at some things and see some cracks. That was not a representative team. I know that. Lebron and steph curry and anthony davis aren't playing but this is representative team. This team is loaded like a ten of the players. I think are were all stars in the last year and Almost everybody rotation was either all. Nba this year or should have been all nba. like durant. didn't naked 'cause injuries but trust me he's all nba player right so Having said that you see that much talent they should struggle and still win.

Harry Yeff: Capturing the Uniqueness of Voice Through Voice-Based Sculptures

"Let's get into that a little bit with regards like some of the work that you're doing to actually represent the human voice and its uniqueness. I think this is again. This is a this is an exclusive. Look right now in terms of like how you doing it. But when we i chatted and shared some of this with me i it just. It was stunning quite frankly And it just showed the beauty. I think of the human voice and also the uniqueness. An a bit like a snowflake. There's no two that are like. I think this is really cool. So why don't we pull that up and let's I'll let you tee it up. If you want to take some more before we pull it up here. Yeah i will say one more thing. So when i sites move away from music and just voice in a traditional sense. What i realize is that many people find it all to acknowledge and take time to appreciate the uniqueness of the voice and the function of the houses as a system and its sewing tech world so our relationships a working relationship so loving relationships but also off sense of self so this very interesting phenomenon where you take the times with manager voice and you think about its role. There's this reinforcement of your own identity and that narrative plate into quite a few of tech based projects whether it was creating official twin which i could perform with a second self but then continuations of that voice sculptures so things systems that integrate voice states into full and color. So my previous collaborations have led to a brand new project. Who voice gyms which really glazed on this narrative that there were opportunities for voice centered design and especially with the explosion of the nfc space and myself being in the digital intech off space for a long time. This project is about synthesizing worthies experiences into something very tangible and challenging value and challenging our ideas of what is wasted digital preciousness. How can we have a tech based project that tackles those things but also reminds us of the beauty of avoids

Why Central Banks Will Add Bitcoin to Their Balance Sheets

"Cathy. It's wonderful to be here with you again. I'm very happy to be here. Nathaniel is fit in lots of action over the last three months. So let's talk. I mean is wild since we talked so much has changed in such a short amount of time. Let's just start. I guess with the question that i think everyone is trying to sort through right now. Which is are we still in a bull market. Have we shifted into a bear market. Is there some weird dead cat. Bounce thing going on where. Where are we in this market cycle and is the cycle that we normally think about it. Even the right stick to us anymore. So we're talking about crypto here. Right crypto specifically. Yeah but i mean turns out it might. It might involve not crypto as well and the answer that question but actually Well we've just we just saw a fifty percent drop so this idea of a super cycle that that would never happen again. Well that's that's out the window. And i do think it was precipitated. By the es g movement to end this notion a which was exacerbated by elon. Musk that there are some real environmental problems here. with bitcoin with the mining bitcoin and And so i think that a lot of institutional buying went on pause. Shall i say and i think there were a lot of expectations that there would be follow through by institutions. We wrote a paper last september october. Saying that we did believe this. New asset class was finally getting the respect that it needs from institutions There have been some leaders out there. Certainly a fidelity and mass mutual and then on the balance sheet you've seen square and tesla micra strategy. Of course of course. And all of these rethought were teeing up the institutional world for some real participation in this space

HEADLINE CAPITALIZATION NTSB Releases Preliminary Report on Fatal Tesla Crash Capitalize Words With Four or More Letters (Associated Press style) Capitalize Words with Five or More Letters (APA Style) Do Not Capitalize Words Based on Length (Chicago Manual of Style) Capitalize Major Words and Those With Four or More Letters (MLA Style) You are likely here because you need a headline checker to make sure your title and headlines are properly written. That's exactly what Headline Capitalization does. It's a free tool to make sure what you capitalize online for publications like blogs and news articles, or for academic papers, is correct. This headline checker should help you to correctly format all your titles in the future. It's important to accurately capitalize titles and headlines for articles and papers. Headline Capitalization is a free headline checker that correctly capitalizes titles for all your writing. Article Title and Headline Capitalization Rules When it comes to creating headlines and titles for articles, it can get confusing what words to capitalize and what words should remain lower case. There are several styles of title and headline capitalization which different publications may use. For the most part, there are general rules that all publications follow with a few minor deviations between them. For those who write, it's important to understand these rules about which words to capitalize when creating headlines and titles. Major Headline Capitalization Styles There are four major title capitalization styles. These are: AP Style APA Style Chicago Style MLA Style There is no single authoritative style guide when it comes to capitalizing headlines and titles, although some are used for certain types of writing. For example, the Associated Press Stylebook (AP Style) is often used by news organizations, the Chicago Manual of Style (Chicago Style) is more comprehensive for in-depth writing, and the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers (MLA style) is used for academic papers. While this is where the different styles are usually used, it's not mandatory to use a particular style for a particular type of writing. If you are unsure of which style to use, the best method is to seek out which style the course, editor, or teacher prefers so that you know, and then use that specific style. If you're in a certain field, you should learn the style that's most prominent in your field. For example, the AP Style for those in journalism, and the MLA style if you're in academics. In all cases, it's best to ask for each project to make sure since each style has its own rules. General Headline Style Rule: Title Case How to write headlines and titles is usually referred to as "headline style" or "title case." As mentioned, all styles are not the same, but there are a few general rules they all follow. These are: Capitalize the first word in the title Capitalize the last word in the title Capitalize the important words in the title The first two points are clear cut and easy to follow. The next question is, what are considered "important" words in a headline? In most cases, they include the following words: Adjectives (beautiful, large, hopeful) Adverbs (forcefully, silently, hurriedly) Nouns (computer, table, manuscript) Pronouns (they, she, he) Subordinating conjunctions (as, so, that) Verbs (write, type, create) Words in Headlines That Aren't Capitalized The above words are the ones generally capitalized, so what words are usually written in lowercase when creating headlines and titles? These tend to be shorter words (under five letters long). The following types of words are generally not capitalized: Articles (a, an, the) Coordinating Conjunctions (and, but, for) Short (less than 5 letters) Prepositions (at, by, from) Alternative Headline Capitalization: Sentence Case One style of headline and title capitalization which doesn't follow the rules is Sentence Case style. "Get his message out of Ethiopia at last week in here, his words Robin is here by that action based you appear today all over Ethiopia and in T dry in particular many barbarism have been conducted. I tried several times to say this. But all my messages have been blocked till now. I haven't had the opportunity to get my message out through the media. It's clear that the problem is everywhere, including a romir bench angle, a sure rob it and so on. But what is happening in T dry is the worst brutality and cruelty. What's happening is the carnage of people, particularly the killing of innocents. God will judge everything. But people are dying, dying terribly. Women are being raped and they are in pain. The men who died. Ah, luckier than these women who are suffering churches are being destroyed in Merriam dangling. It's not the fault off the tee, bright people The whole world should know this. And now they do the strongly worded accusation of genocide from the head of Ethiopia's Orthodox Church. These air his first public comments on the war from the elderly Patriarca Boonie Mattias, who's from the Tigre region himself as he addresses millions of followers and the international community. "Al. It's six now sixteen and of course boys with they always do they like you pulling your pigtails and just sort of yeah and I remember this gentlemen need. He kept messing with me. Cut method with me and then finally we were the back of the school yard and he just walked to me his knee and it was just like this. I don't even know how to describe it. This feeling through my whole body and i didn't know what that was so i was just like a free then. I hit him in iran away. Head were you. Ha- i mean other than the fact that you didn't know what was going on. Are you excited by the kiss. Like you had that body feeling but were you like ooh something important just happened or were you just like no amount of here scared on my had. You liked him or you interested in him. Yes and no. Because i didn't understand why kept hitting so whatever feelings that developed towards him. I was just like okay. I just went to stop eating. When you say hitting you. How hard was he hitting you. And on what part of your body he punch me in my arm He would do things like if we were jumping rope. He grabbed the rope in like. Hit my legs with the rope like hard but it was just it was like little brother annoying which is not really sexy. I so you ran away at. Was there a point at which you were like. Oh maybe i wanna do that again or or were you like. Was that it for him. So it took a while I wanna say maybe like whereas this was like the middle of the school year towards the end of the school year. That's when i kinda let him get close enough to me so where he kissed me again. And i like this guy was the second time fund. Did you enjoy that. Yeah okay and did anything happen from there Not really it was kind of more like discussing and you know walking home holden hand and you said that first time you got sort of that electric feeling through your body did that continue as you continued kissing him. Yes yeah was there any part of you. That wanted more of that. Yes but i just was really confused on what was happening. I just kind of stave off. Yeah so let's go back a little bit further. What was there any physical affection in your home. Like when you say you didn't know what was going on. How much kissing had you actually seen. How much had you been exposed to like. Watching movies and little stuff My parents they smooch teheran. There wasn't anything to involve both of them. Were they were busy missing each other here and there But they weren't too involved as far is in front of me. I mean i have accidentally heard them having sex with time seven. Fifteen or something but Other than that. Yeah and did you have any siblings. Just me just you. I say so. It's not like you had an older sister. Who would come home from a date and you got to hear what was going on or something. No no what's funny is. Most of my cousins have cousins. That are kind of like siblings to me. But they're all bullies this girl so it was like Okay yeah yeah yeah. So did your parents talk to you about your body or about sexuality at all My mom was more like on the worship of hygiene. But it was more like. Don't let you let boys that your body now. I was like okay you know. Yeah so wasn't necessarily informative. It was just like don't let things happen. Yes yeah sure. And you mentioned that you went to baptist baptist congregation. What kinds of messaging were you getting from. Your religion about femininity and sexuality will spires Church goals You know they encourage You know waiting till you upstanding until you were married But my congregation was like literally. It's aside from us. Kids everybody who married literally so it was like oh okay so that doesn't seem so hard so it wasn't like you you were saying i don't wanna wait until i married. I was just like yeah. That's kind of just how it is because most of the people in my my church in many of the older congregation they were married for forty fifty years those like they were married since they were teenagers. So i was like. Oh well okay that that's not hard to do because the than sixteen what's two or three more years and what about your parents did. They get married young. There was a nine year age difference between my parents. My mom was twenty one and did they have a happy marriage. Not really and that's probably part of what my invited was because they argued a lot or what i being that child as Was it loud. Was scary to you as a kid was allowed. It was some things are like really disrespectful. In you know i would just go upstairs. 'cause we had a two family house. I will go upstairs to my grandmother's house. Yeah so that's hard and we don't even realize how much messaging we're taking in as kids when we hear that stuff. Yeah but we in. That's part of an issue. That i deal with now says i don't i don't argue not to If we can't sit down and have a grownup conversation about things without throwing insults without making harsh references this not necessary Okay feel one way. I feel another. How can you work that out but that that seems to be an issue.

"Teed shingles. And because certain teed will guarantee if it's at a three twelve and I'm apparently three and a half twelve was. You would be okay with either one of those types of shingles to good brands and as far as three and a half twelve. Yes, the rules vary installation instructions I should say there for manufacturer to manufacturer and some of them will allow three and a half tall pitch with asphalt shingles. Just make sure they're getting just talked a little bit about the underlying and being careful about it. But no. That, that will function you get much less than that. Then you then you're looking at a membrane roof for you mentioned a rubber roof. The other thing is, you know, I have a little more confidence in the membrane roof three twelve like when you get down to three and a half twelve when you're up there. Okay with the asking. They had something where they, you know, they could present the home in SRI day. And so they could measure it, and they also offered to the word escapes me at the moment. That's snow guard thing that you have all the way up to the top the membrane they put the two minutes membrane from the edge of the revolver to top lower pitch roof, which is a very common method in Joey always solves the problem because I had a little my squirrels in the yard, are very handy, and they can run fetters. Any problem with that rubber membrane, if this growth at it, never heard of a problem with the squirrel. Inter remember, high heel shoes? Pray a bad thing. Shoes. Your shit at thank you very much. Thanks for she'd done research. That's good. She looked I have an article online called replace your rough on their website and talks about pitch and slope and most people that got a glaze over when you say that, but a twelve twelve would be drops twelve feet over twelve feet or this four twelve with drop four feet inches, twelve inches or feet the matter. Okay. Oh, yeah. It's four twelve it's so be before, inches, or for, there's the engineer, but it's the slope it's the amount of once you get to a lower one when she hit that three that's a problem three and a half. So manufacturer says you can use asphalt shingles. So depends on the shingle, okay? All right, cigarette gonna be back. Dennis mic one standby. We're gonna talk about a porch and, and, and then we've got some other shingle questions. And then gutter guard questions via the text line..

"On cata teed, and we're talking about Spinks cats. Yup. Those adorable hairless creatures that you see, in, you know, some movies some whole videos, and, you know, some, some rapper cats. Hello, IM Osho and just very unusual. Because, hey, they're hairless. So let's talk about the personality 'cause I was wondering, you know, these are cats without first. Are they just the same as other cats but they don't have for or they are they a little different? And it turns out, yet, there are a little different. They're not the same as your regular. Well. Most cats are not regular. Of course, they all have their own distinct personalities. But there are a little bit unique compared to some of the other cats that are out there. For one, they tend to have a very sweet disposition and, you know, maybe this is because they like to be cuddled. And maybe it's because they know they're not like most other cats. And so they just are proud of it. Who knows? But overall, they tend to have very sweet dispositions, and they also tend to be very talkative and very chatty not just in the, you know, kind of way, but they make little Chirps and little gibberish. She sort of meows and just very talkative. And I don't know what that has to do with the fact that they don't have for. But hey, this is how they are. Maybe they're talking to their owners more because they don't have to worry about constantly, you know, looking there, furred keeping their selves all looking great. Who knows? But they're very chatty. They tend to eat a lot. They have high metabolisms. They by nature have a little pot belly, but they have a fast metabolism in comparison to most cats. So they do eat a lot as a result, they use the litterbox a lot. So it's often best from what I read to get a type of letter that is not going to stick to their paws, and since they're going to be in the box, so often and to make sure it's the type of box that they're going to use on a regular basis, you know, covered uncovered and make sure again they have enough boxes. Because, hey, they eat a lot. They love company. They're very friendly. Although some of your guests might think they are freaky looking because again, most people expect cats to have hair, and they're rare as far as household pets, as far as cats go. I don't know the percentage, I wanna say under ten percent of the household. Olds in the US actually have thinks cats, which is a pretty small number but still quite up there. It might be closer to about seven percent. They are not usually found as strays, they're generally from breeders, because they are a bit rare. And, you know, for some people, you know, when you love your cat, you think everyone's gonna love your cat. And because these cats are so odd looking they might get a little. What is that from your company that's visiting? But once they get to know, your little baby, they will love him or her because they're so friendly. Okay, then Lastly, I want to share a famous thinks cat. If you think I have never seen one of these hairless cats, I've no idea, which talking about okay? There is a very popular movie. Maybe I'm dating myself, but it wasn't that long ago called Austin powers and the cat that phase. They'd Mr. Biggles worth in Austin powers was a famous sphynx cat his name, his real name. Get ready for this was Ted new Gent. So if you ever listened to old rock, I hate to say old, but, you know, let's say classic rock or so. That's a play on. Ted Nugent, who is a great rocker back in the seventies, eighties and still pretty popular today. But that was a famous Finks cat. So when the movie Austin powers, and you can see what thinks cat looks like or hey, just look it up on YouTube. All right. We're just wrapping up our show on Spinks cats. And I just want to give a shout out again to Pamela from Tennessee that gave me the idea for this show. I hope you enjoyed this talk about sphynx cats. They're the hairless wonders, as so they're called. They're hairless cats that either completely hairless or have very fine down. They look like little aliens, but are adorable have very sweet disposition. And I hope this may be opened your mind in your eyes to the idea of considering adopting one if one you happened to come across as things cat, or if you're looking at certain breeds or want to go to our breed adoption type of facility take a look at this thing's cat after doing all this research. I want one. They're sweet. They're cuddly, you know, they like to talk to you. Why not you know, they look a little unusual like little aliens, but they're the sweetest little aliens ever. They're so adorable. To find out more. I found a lot of information on Wikipedia found a lot of information on cat Stor. There's so much information there and they're called sphynx cats and..
