"Going to attach the greatest ever to both of their so. If somebody came. Tell me another reason why we shouldn't feel sorry for Tom. Brady because the relationship but by him bill. Belichick wasn't the greatest. They need to really hunker down and explain that to me. There are a lot of clouds. The attitude is league there will be. They come through his bid. That will never achieve. What Tom Brady is able to do? Because Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots Organization put him in a position to be successful through. You know what you can. You can pause. But you ain't blow and nobody's how down this way I disagree with you disagree when we get back from commercial and we'll elaborate on what you can pick out all you want to act like you right but to wait right time is deal with you in a second swag. Ins mealtime drew brees. Benetton New Orleans. You'll get you. We pick back up with the major. Breaking news of the day is official. Tom Brady is leaving the Patriots. Brady making the announcement this morning via social media that he will be leaving New England. According to our Adam Schefter Tom. Brady has not made a decision on where he will play next season he will be exploring his auctions per a league source. We're having a heated conversation. Marcus Spears here with us and Marcus was very frustrated with this narrative that Tom Brady has been disrespected. In this process we had booger McFarland on earlier. He echoed the sentiment that he did feel that. Tom had a sense of disrespecting. Enough was enough Steven A. Where are you on this? Well my whole point. Is this Tom Brady? We know what he's accomplished. We know we recognize his greatness. We know we recognize bill greatness. My point is this two things that must be taken into consideration markets. Where you're thinking about Tom Brady Noble. Want how much does he have left and number two if you don't believe in him? Who exactly is it that you believe in that you're about to get I understand. Teddy Bridgewater is fresh off of winning. All five of his games in New Orleans that he played his twenty. Two and twelve has OUGHTA. He's universally recognised relatively pedestrian quarterback. All going to Andy Dalton Rob what are we doing? This is somebody. They mentioned James Winston the defensive player of the year. It's far as I'm concerned. The first time arguably in history that a quarterback should have been named defensive. Play it again because the man to thirty two sections to go along with thirty touchdowns including six six s okay. Where exactly is it that you're going to justify a lack of faith or this insatiable appetite to move beyond Tom? Brady if you are bill belichick if people are asking those questions that I'm not saying that I definitively know to answer. I'm certainly not trying to imply that I'm simply pointing out that for those out there. Who believe that there might be something awry here that there might have been something wrong. That Bill Belichick should have found a way to work this out. Particularly when Mr Kraft's watt spoke to in the first hour specifically said while he was on the phone with me. If Tom Brady wanted to stay we would have worked it out. We could have gotten it done so. Why wouldn't Tom Brady WANNA stay? He only wouldn't WanNa stay for one reason. And that's because the likelihood that he had a coach that didn't believe in them as much Omar compared to what he used to look. So who do you believe in? I think he has a right to ask that question. And I think that's where all medical this kind of story comes from that coach Bill Belichick greatest coach of all time. And when people say what do you do before you had Tom Brady with patriots? He was one of the great defensive coordinators who ever lived. And then he actually. He was the last coach to win over there with the Cleveland browns. Okay since then. He's worked with Tom. Brady Tom Brady. We only have the nineteen games that Tom Brady belic. We live the nineteen games. Debris wasn't there with the Patriots. Bella chick win thirteen and six. So when you say Stephen. The craft the Bob Kraft is telling you well. We tried everything you know. If he wanted to stay. We would've worked it out. I think that's kind of reversing what's really going on for PR purposes. If they really would have approached Tom Brady and Bing Gung Ho to sign McGinley kind of deal he was looking for. They'd have Tom Brady. They weren't because he am hold on their. Gm is also one of the greatest GM's of all time and doesn't want to break the bank on what Booger McFarland. Who was defending Brady? Called top fifteen quarterback right now forty three years old. Well listen as somebody who spoke to Mr Crap as somebody who knows. Let's understand something here. Tom Brady was at his house last night. He wasn't he wasn't at Bill. Chicks House. Tom Brady has been speaking to him their renowned for having a very close tight relationship with one another according to all the reports that has never been the case with bill check according to players who have played for Bill Belichick is not going to be all rosy and fuzzy or anything like that. We understand it. He's very pragmatic and his approach. Very business minded. That's the way it goes and so if you missed the craft no matter what you wanted to do in Bill Bella Tech. Does it want to do it right. You can't step on his toes but so much but particularly after the Garoppolo situation which is what you pointed to Max. Yeah no so. We're saying the same thing. Do you see the identity of the Patriots as Bob Kraft or is Bill Belichick? Let me be very clear that the Patriot way. The number one guy most responsible for the Patriots success including Craft Brady and everyone is bill belichick and I predict now that Bill Belichick with no quarterback left after Garoppolo shipped out of town will win more games next year than Tom Brady. Who has his choice of two teams who have nothing but offensive weapons so when you say what is it like what really happened to your the Patriots as Belichick represents? The Patriots clearly wanted to move on from Tom Brady. I think Tom Brady would have preferred to stay. I don't know I don't know Max if he would have preferred stay and I'm not. I'm not going to jump on the boat which WHO's saying that. They're going to have more success than whatever team Tom Brady lands with. I just know two things. These these are two things that we all know sitting on this show. Father time is undefeated and at some point you got to move on and I don't understand this. Whole reaction of the relationship was good so it finally came to a head and Tom Brady had to move on or bill. Belichick didn't feel make. Tom Brady feel like he was needed. A warning enough. He's forty two. It's one thing I agree with. Maximum one point of succession plan needs to be put in place to sit here and act like Tom Brady has been done. Got a question this service because he was picked up by the New England patriots again. It's Asinine so I can ask a question master questions. Why go just so? I'm clear so your position. How much did you believe Tom Brady hat left? How much do you believe he has left? I believe till two two to three years. Okay at a relatively elite level. Certainly not the love. We used to be at but at a relatively elite level. Alright so Rappalo is gone right enough. He's GonNa stay with me swagger if Garoppolo was gone and that was just accession plan. And now you don't have one what's wrong just even say allow asset since you said. Tom Brady has two to three years left and no succession plan is in place because Garoppolo was gone. What's wrong with people? Having a problem with Tom Brady being gone. Considering the fact that you know he's got something less I don't have. I don't have a problem with people. Having a problem with Tom Brady being gone. I have a problem with people's reactions like yours. Toll Thing. Tom Brady has been cast. He's some sun that nobody wanted to have in the house. Listen we don't know what New England playing is New England might want to move on just to get going in the future and make those decisions. Are they in the best position known from a football standpoint? Absolutely we can agree on that for you. Whoever else to sit up here and that like because told Brady is no logo with the New England Patriots and he decided to leave. It is some kind of way we should feel sorry for Tom. Brady Marcus fears as always maybe subject here. Two decades forty one flay off games. Thirty playoff wins nine. Super Bowl appearances in six rings. Tom Brady. It's starting a new chapter. As of today he is leaving the New England patriots and exploring his other options. He has not made a decision according to our Adam Schefter in terms of where he will go next. Obviously it's been a very busy day to day guys a lot of news. We mentioned earlier Per Adam. Schefter in our Diana Rossini that Cam Newton and the panthers were potentially going to have a trade cam went on his social media just now in made it very clear that he did not ask for trade he does not want to be traded and we will certainly be discussing that much more tomorrow but as we wrap things up here any final thoughts from you. Start with you Stephen Well. It's sad to see Tom Brady gone but I'm excited about seeing where he'll end up Landi whether it be in. L. A. or Temple. We'll see what happens with this. Sheltering in places they call it during the corona virus the. Nfl is your best friend. I mean this has been an unstoppable like breaking news day guys Joe Montana went to the AFC championship game with achieve some curious to see where Tom Brady goes. And how he fares next year no question. I think there could be a sleeper team. We saw this with peyton manning. Maybe there's a team that we're not even talking about where he could end up. Also Cam Newton could be on the move. The raiders could have a new quarterback drew. Brees signed the deal. There's so much more. Deandre Hopkins got traded. That we will dive into tomorrow on. I take thank you so much for being with US stay safe. We'll see you tomorrow morning..

"Together even if a stable. I can't wait to see him a dog. Winning Mike Evans play together is all going to be great. How would you know get your cowboys? All right walking. Just stop putting all so we can get moving you over there. We don't want it in our day. We can take a gatorade not metering ought to welcome into the second hour I take. If you're just joining us we start with. Maybe the biggest breaking news in a very long time. It is official. Tom Brady is leaving the Patriots. Brady making the announcement. This morning via social media that he will be leaving New England according to our Adam Schefter despite today's proclamation that he would not be returning to New England. Tom Brady has not made a decision on where he will play next season. Obviously there are a lot of options on the table on that. No I want to bring in a guy who knows Tom in New England very well. He won three super bowls with Tom. Brady and now you can seem Sundays during the football season on Sunday. Nfl COUNTDOWN OUR GUY. Tedy Bruschi Teddy. Thank you for making some time this morning. Thanks for having me so teddy. We've been focusing a lot on where Tom Brady will go. But I WANNA get into New England. Where do the Patriots go from here at the quarterback position signing a free agent? Right now would be a good idea. I mean I don't WanNa go in there and follow Tom Jarret Stidham is someone that they feel comfortable with and I think moving forward. That's where bill would want to would want to do moving forward. I mean just going with. Jared you know he solidified defense getting mccourty mccourty brothers back Slater's back so as leadership is intact but to sign a big name to come in there and play quarterback form of veteran presence. I gotTA put myself in. The shoes of the veteran quarterback himself. If I WANNA be the one that comes in and try to win football games after. Tom Brady has parted as a free agent quarterback. I don't know if that's the situation I liked take on even teddy like and we don't know what's going to happen. Who's going to be available after the draft for a trade or whatever. I suspect it's going to be a quarterback. No one's thinking about right now the Belichick nabs but even a quarterback teddy who has not been in a winning situation has been underrated. Who has some talent is never really come through you? Don't think they'd want to work with Bellichik in that. Patriot system to start a new chapter of their career. It would seem to me to be attractive for those kind of quarterbacks I mean I can't put myself in their shoes and what they're thinking. Max I mean that's a situation that A player would look forward to is going to New England and Being a situation where you could win football games and potentially you know being in the running in the end. Now I'm thinking about you you'd be playing meaningful games possibly at the end and now that's something. I didn't say before it was possible was always sort of a guarantee that December you're going to play meaningful games in terms of seating and in playoff type of implications. I think that's up in the air now. it's a different team now and you know if you've got that type of confidence in yourself to go in and take that type of challenge on you know that that's something that's very possible. Sure Teddy thank you for being on the show. Let me throw this question for you as somebody that play for. The New England Patriots for years obviously won three super bowls as Tom. Brady's teammates so much noise is being made about the relationship that existed between Tom Brady and Bill Belichick and in the end how that may have given a strong assist to his willingness to depart. Can you talk to us? About what if anything you know about that relationship or more specifically described for those who speculate but really don't know who Bill Belichick is how he is and how that could affect the mindset of a player playing for him. The one thing that's not going to be as warm and fuzzy I can guarantee you that no matter how many years you've played for him or what you've done or or what you've put on the line to play for the organization. It's all about the future and he's pretty clear in all of our team meetings when he talks about what you haven't done in the past and everything and this is you know letting tom go like this. Is You know even more evidence to the fact that you know. Bill Cares about winning and his formula for winning in so moving forward with A quarterback that's forty two forty three years old. It's something that he did not want to do and Moving on something. The organization wanted to go. Let me interject. Because Robert Kraft and I spoke in the first hour of the show during commercial break and he reiterated to me. He said Tom Brady came to see him last night. Tom Brady. He said there was a way to work it out. We would have worked it out if Tom Brady had wanted to stay. Tom Brady wanted to leave. That's why he's leaving and I believe that anybody has done what he has done for this organization over the last twenty years deserves the right to do what they want to do. That was Mr Kraft's position. Do you believe that Tom Brady wanted to leave or do you believe that bill? Belichick really didn't mind him leaving. What do you think it was I understand what Mr Crap is talking about in the end. You know what the decision to leave. Yes I mean in the end. The players like okay. This is way there. This is what they're telling me over here and this is what I can get other places so you gotTa make your choice so in the end you don't tell them makes the decision that it's time to move on. Do I think that it would have been Tom's number. One choice to stay with New England absolutely if the situation was right and he felt comfortable about coming back. I believe he would have come back. But that's just not the case because you've got a businessman in terms of you know bill belichick and who he is and who he sees the team as how he wanted it in the future and if that's his view and it doesn't agree with what. Tom Brady. View is then. That's sort of a mutual business relationship. That happens so if the if it was all warm and fuzzy and they gave Tom what he wanted which is something they weren't willing to do. Obviously then the player has to make the decision. I understand that Mr Kraft's he would have done. He would have liked to have done everything he possibly could have. But there's a different person when it comes to the head coach the general manager when he had that view and he had something that a plan for his future team that he wants to follow. That's what always good ownership is going to defer to so if it was a perfect situation for Tom I think he would have come back but in the end he did make the decision. And say you know. I think it's going to be better somewhere else for me. All over everywhere teddy seems to me. Bellichik as unsentimental about this kind of stuff and is even in craft and Belgium's have kind of gotten ahead of it or or spun it a certain way as. Oh Hey Brady wanted to leave. And that's what we're really talking about now. The question Stephen Ages danced. You ask you in in your answer. Brady wanted to leave will sure under these conditions. Brady wanted to leave. But he probably didn't actually WANNA leave. He wanted them to make him a better deal. And on the one hand I understand why they wanNA move on giving. His agent is slim production on the other hand. Brady has constantly restructured his deal. And that's kicking the can down the road in the NFL right but eventually yes. He's made the money up in a lot of other ways but in terms of his contract he's going to end his career simply having not collected in contract money. Nearly probably not half of what some other guys have collected when you look at from that point of view. Do you think Brady was be better off staying from your point of view staying in New England or should he have gone elsewhere and gotten paid? No I think I mean you talk about him not making money in that something. That just in terms of comparison to other quarterbacks in the League Max and I understand that but you know what Tom Brady accomplished with the New England patriots..

"I take on this Tuesday morning. According to Mike Triplet drew brees. The saints have agreed to a two year deal worth about twenty five million per year the same value as the previous daily signed with the saints in Twenty Eighteen. The deal is even more team friendly than last time considering the inflation of quarterback salaries since then more news in Dallas after locking up Dak Prescott for at least twenty twenty with the exclusive franchise tag earlier in the day. The Dow Catholic prevented Amari Cooper from leaving via free agency later Monday with a five year. One hundred million dollar deal leaks sources telling our Adam Schefter we know. Dak Prescott was looking for that security also Byron Jones left for Miami. He will reportedly become the highest. Paid cornerback in the League. On that note we bring in the Hall of. Famer knows all things Dallas cowboys. Michael Talk to me. What are your thoughts on? Amari getting taken care of and essentially Dak. Hasn't let's talk about this. I want to jump right into this and I want to start this right. Listen I love that? They kept Amari Cooper because I saw with the Dallas cowboys was like a couple years ago when we when they got rid of his Bryant and then bring in another number one receiver. They need Amari Cooper and they needed to keep them now. I heard I heard with snoop came text back and forth was even and I want you to stop the rhetoric. The Jerry's doing that role. That's just Oh God no. We will have this conversation. Let's let's stop sign nine. No listen if it was if this was like okay in Tennessee you give Iran. You're trying to heal hundred twenty million dollars and you're offering their a one year deal ten million dollars highway robberies that ideally doing somebody. That is doing this right here right now. 'cause the also the Dow up thirty three thirty four million dollars a year so go from the second highest paid in the League right now so he's not doing rope. This is just business. Her Snoop calling and here is my dome but I wanted to wait a minute. Stop the madness you guys you got us Zip it right now. You got to feel God. Because here's the deal you got somebody. You're deficient you got somebody. Division it cost went. We like cost and wet but cost. Has He got to the playoffs? That a first time. This year couldn't complete because he was engine when they won the Super Bowl. He was hurt when they got to the planning after that he was hurt right. He has not accomplice. What Dak Prescott has a couple of four straight years now? Let's to start winning new four years completed sixty five bats. If at three to four years this nearly two thousand you pay the bill. Elliott you pay Jalen. Smith Paid Amari Cooper you every damn what your quarterback a wide receiver love. Just Troy Aikman notice quarterback you with it plus you know what the obligation is in Dallas. Then you go sit there with a straight face and act like you know any steady act like Scott has been treated fairly. There's no better place make us do. No no no no no. Let's stop. We gotTA stop this out of. We're out of here. We are gone this list Jerry in that adobe. We don't even know what dash is asking for. Nobody has put a number on this so it could be forty five timber. We don't we don't know that Jerry has made studio boy what did is all business visits but ultimately just like ultimately. This deal is going to get this deal done. He no doubt it's okay to part of the business part of the business. Everybody's going to tip in talk but nobody's going anywhere this even on working go off. We gotTA stop saying Jerry is doing him wrote. This is business. If Jerry had two and five million dollars a year right now would be which was only God Jerry. Way Out of line but when he's often thirty three thirty four and we don't even know what of asking for and there is no bigger dead press coughing and I've told these people around here that you the pay a total of two years ago. I said if you don't feel now you know more later. And they will tell you more later because he s but less with the rhetoric that he's been doing go sees not being wait a minute. Wait a minute wait a minute. Are you sitting here with a straight face and saying that you can don't and you find it perfectly? Okay that they France school simply franchise temp where he'd be a one year deal. It couldn't go anywhere. You okay with that you okay with that one okay. With the franchise make him thirty. Three thirty four million dollars this year. Authority million dollar deal next year so over the next two years he's going to make seventy five million. I don't say somebody role that's not. Why make a two year deal? At the quarterback position is a one year deal but dad cars a great offer on the table. If he wasn't I'm not saying take it. I'm not saying take because I understand is doing business just like Jerry's doing business now the of the ordering each other role. They're just doing business. Stop trying to put dead old poison in Macau was it. Oh my tablet. Twenty five th. There's no better your dad. Britain according to not only twelve thirty year treated over there. Stop trying to dad. Tom Brady is kind. Couldn't believe that her cousin your Washington we believe in that here in Dallas Jerry. You're in doubt I didn't like it but it takes to tangle it takes to detail. I argue with you on this and argue for day if I knew what was if I knew what is number one if I knew he wanted thirty nine I will say jared company thirty eight you oughta know. What is this Jerry? See a will let you know the number because we don't know the minimum eighty four to five hundred. They taught me how come go go. Go go here and wondering wondering one thing Michael. This is how the understand. What do y'all trying to back on my top war that he wants to leave Diet. Listen it has died Joe Johns. Now you go hit home. I hope deck stays. I mean so far. Haven't even signed the whole team from last year and they didn't make the playoffs. I hope he stays Michael as a giants fan. Look let me ask you this. You said two years ago you just said they should sign up long-term at least last year. They should have signed him up. Long-term right right right if you're saying Jerry is not doing them wrong. Why did he wait until the eleventh hour and fifty nine th minute? Why come all the way up to one hundred five million at that point and then not cross the finish line? He waited until now guys like you were saying two years ago. Isn't he doing cowboys? Fans wrong let me tell you. Tell you because here again here again. We are not getting clarity on what that is asking for obviously is more than the thirty three or thirty four million dollars that he's been offered what's made him the second highest paid for salary and then probably given the highest fate money guarantee. All I'm saying is all I think that deserves an I'd say two years ago. That deserves a long-term bill and I know that will get a long term deal but all I'm saying is we can't be sitting here saying Oh. Somebody's been enrolled in. The process came on taboo oath agreement in all all big. Big guys deal usually. Don't get to several cinder. Well good at building a turn back into the PUNK stub down. You're good at everything BEC- because we come on network is shut you down stop. Y'All got to stop that man. Just stop it listen. Let them do what they're doing? We receiver now. We got the running glass that last Michael I want to get back to New England. Really quickly one word answer. Where does Tom Brady play next season? I told some people. Wh The chargers yesterday and I'm telling you they are putting everything in detail on the table to get Tom. Brady and I would say if I'm taking a guest. It would be shocked if I'm taking a guess it would be the charge and I'm GonNa tell you I can't wait to see him and Keenan Allen play.

"To save your life in reverse the effects so awareness knowledge is all something that I'm about and it's all something that I've been preaching for well over a decade now which is unbelievable you would you ever imagined growing up the way he did that. You would become the spokesman and this model for how to recognize and deal with and come back from strokes is pretty incredible. I had no idea I had no idea what my life was going to be like <hes> even. He played in the N._F._l.. For the Patriots <hes> they have a great Patriot Charitable Foundation. I'm like well that's great and I participated in it when I played for them but nothing really struck me as being passionate about to where how I could give back in terms of off the field but having this happened directly to me. It was sort of something to me where it said this is what you have to do. You need to help people to provide the information about stroke awareness and even the second event. It is sort of telling me how my life is supposed to go and what I'm supposed to do. A lot of people have various things they do off the field but for me directly it's about stroking. It's about stroke awareness and you know I don't know if I'm the face of stroke you know but <hes> I have a two-time stroke survivor now and I'm proud of it and I'm happy to be talking to you about it and just just continuing to spread the word and the knowledge and awareness see. I can't imagine that there are too many two-time two-time stroke survivors who were forty six years old. Who had the history that you did? This can't be a common occurrence he I haven't I haven't known I remember I remember after my first one too. It's <hes> I asked a doctor or the number of the guy that's done this before. In terms of coming back to play football. I was on the phone with him. I said give me the number so I can ask this guy out millions of questions that I have and he said Teddy you'd be the first so coming back to play in the N._F._l.. After my first stroke and having you know an operation on my heart close a whole <hes> a lot of things to where a lot of doctors referred to certain strokes as the one that Tedy Bruschi had and that he came back to to be able to play in the national football league and you'll be okay because there's a lot of emotional and mental hurdles you have to overcome. I can talk to you about this in terms of being a stroke survivor because you sort of feel messed up inside like something's wrong with you but I felt that immediately after I didn't. I didn't think it was possible to play football again. <hes> there was a lot of emotional healing that you have to do so. It really warms my heart..

Ben Roethlisberger is 'clearly a part of the problem'

"Next. Next team president art Rooney. The second said Wednesday that talks have started between the Steelers and Ben Rothlisberger on a contract extension. Big Ben who turns thirty seven in March has one year remaining on his current deal. And let's keep in mind. There's been a lot of drama and Pittsburgh fellas and Tonio Brown apparently wants out lay beyond bells that out the entire season. Not to mention that Big Ben has been going back and forth on retirement these past couple of seasons. Tedy Bruschi still here with us joining us from the Pro Bowl and Orlando I teddy. There you are. We got you got you and all your friends in the background is big and more of a problem or a solution because this franchise feels like a mess right now. Because both he's he's definitely a part of the problem because they no other men in which he's handled things. I mean, again, you know, you you've got numerous players. You've got numerous NFL aficionados that have religiously called out Big Ben for saying things in throwing people under the bubble in the fashion of the quarterbacks. Don't this is not me talking. This is basically reporting what they've said as max is done as many others. If you watch Big Ben you talking about juju Smith Schuster. We should have thrown the ball of him every time you say something like that. You've got to know you've been around Antonio Brown long enough to know, how those kind of things would affect him along with various other things in other positions that he has taken that. We don't have time to get into in the end when it comes down to is that has made him a part of the problem because Big Ben is live by different set of rules. He's a bit flagrant with it. And I don't give a. AM who you are anytime you receive preferential treatment that you are you are playing by different set of rules as everybody else you are going to rub people the wrong way, especially when you consider the individual who abuses, the privilege. That's the bottom line. Having said all of that. When you look at Big, Ben he's also a part of the solution because nobody's perfect everybody makes mistakes. And if you're willing to man up in knowledge that you could have done better in certain respects. I think that would go a long way, I think the thing that the Tonio Browns of the world and others that are incredibly frustrating is not that big been mixed the mistakes, they made is that he doesn't necessarily he isn't necessarily deemed as an individual that learns from apologized showed the pope level of contrition and move forward without making sure not to repeat those mistakes again throughout the years. You've seen a pattern of behavior that has been consistent with him in that he has gotten away with it. If you listened to those NFL players Antonio Brown is one of those NFL player. Here's somebody that has said that. And as a result, you a big band you want to alleviate this situation you speak up. You recognize us where you're at fault. And I think if he did that that would go along way. So he's both a problem and a problem solver in all of this because he's right in the middle of everything as the stock quarterback of the team who obviously has is outspoken, Saddam. Well, we agree and disagree because I think he is part of the problem the solution. But for very different reasons part of the problem because Ben Rothlisberger is like a rich man's Eli manning. He is too good for your team. Just to stink almost no matter. What's going on? Right. You're good. A win some games. Maybe make the usually make the playoffs. So how do you get his successor? There's no succession, I just talked about how you know, unless you're Bill Belichick level. And it's not so easy to find a quarterback when you're not drafting up high. You know, it's more of a crap shoot. They don't have the person there that they feel can take the reins of the team if they're truly grooming. It doesn't seem to me on the other end. Therefore at the moment. He reads a lot of power because when you don't have that. But you do have a talented team. And you have a quarterback who's shown he can still play at a very high level, and we're in an era. That's right teddy in an era where older quarterbacks are clearly protected in ways. They've never been you look the level. Tom Brady is still playing at forty one. Drew Brees at forty then rothlisburger at thirty seven that that they realize, oh, wait a minute as beat up as he's been as much as he talked about retirement. He's still maybe has some years of football left in him. We don't have as backup. So he wields probably too much influence and he seems to at times publicly throw players under teammates under the bus. He's a problem because he's too good to get that next quarterback with the draft pick. He's your solution to the extent that you're good because he's a really good quarterback. And if you ain't got that, you ain't got anything. I'm with both you here because Big Ben has been a problem, and he can be a part of the solution. But this is what's happening here as you're talking about max. The quarterbacks in this league getting older and older and still being able to play past forty. What's happening is a generational gap. A generational gap between the quarterback and all of the younger skilled players and all of the younger players on defense that are ended up being a part of this team and the ability to relate. So they're almost these kids are coming in plan. I mean rothlisburger will have players coming in make sure that have had his poster on the wall or something like that that group as fans, and so how does that quarterback that aging quarterback you mentioned breeze Brady and rothlisburger? How was he able to relate to them and make them feel like still an equal? And as one of his teammates, this is where Ben Rothlisberger has failed has he failed. Also and other aspects where Stephen as talking about what he's calling out teammates where he's got no business when he should have when he's the one making bad plays. Also. Yes, I agree with that. But he needs to learn to start to relate to these younger generation of players because he will continue to get older, and that gap is. Real and you'll see players life Brees. How he still it seems like medicine Brady and breathes? They're old. Okay. How do they still have these close bonds with these young players that come into their teams and their teammates talking about them like they're best? How does that happen? There's something. Character wise that breeze and Brady has right now that Rothlisberger is lacking. I need your help with something here. Because here's what you lost. You talked about him relating to the other players, and I don't disagree with that teddy. The problem is it eight the younger players complaining about him and Tonio Brown is thirty years old. He's been big big Big Ben Rothlisberger his teammate for almost the past decade. And so this is I'm not saying that, you know, the he's thirty seven thirty thirty seven like Big Ben is, but he ain't twenty eight twenty one like did you Smith Schuster? The man is thirty the last six seasons. He's had a minimum of one hundred one receptors a minimum of twelve hundred and eighty seven. Yard. He's produced. Poor Big Ben he's been a primary target for Big, Ben. And yet that's where the problem seems to lie at this particular moment in time. So how do you explain that? And I'll put it up put it simply then because I agree with you there. It's a feeling that I've had with the quarterback that I played with and a lot of the saints and a lot of these older players on these teams that are mentioning they have the overwhelming thought in their mind that my quarterbacks got my back. No matter what that's what I think's not there in Pittsburgh. It seemed like it seems like if something happens the quarterback isn't there to either bail you out off the field the Bill you out on? That's what it is. I don't know if they feel the same way some of these saints and other players that this quarterback. He's got my

"NFL analyst Tedy Bruschi. Join Kevin Connors on sportscenter and looked at the AFC playoff picture. The man won three Super Bowls. What the patriots for Pete's sake. Tedy Bruschi joins us now. Teddy seven games on Sunday determine how everything shakes out in the AFC when it's all said and done walk us through here. What it's gonna look like, okay. Let's take some of these games that I feel really aren't in question because I think Oakland going into Kansas City is a win for the Kansas City Chiefs. I think that the chargers are going to beat the Denver Broncos. They're also going down to the bottom here. New england. They should. Hold here. Get a victory versus the jets would solidifies them at the number two seed and then Houston against Jacksonville Houston's been playing well lately too. I'm going to go with us and they're ready to make a playoff push. These other games, though, the Pittsburgh Steelers. I think a beat up Cincinnati team at Pittsburgh. They finally fix them problems. They'll get get back win against the Cincinnati Bengals. But this game right here in terms of Cleveland at Baltimore this Cleveland teams playing well they want to finish the season strong for their head coach Baker Mayfield been playing. Well, I'm gonna go with Cleveland upset so that's where my a lot different from the other things the Steelers right here. According to my model is going to be the number four seed and then the play in game right here. The colts at the titans. Mario does hurting jaryl Casey is someone who's not gonna play. He's on. I r two teams going in different directions. I liked where the cold defense is playing. I'm gonna go with Indianapolis. They hope. Hold for the sixth seat right there. So this would be my playoff picture after Sunday, Ted. He's got the colts go on the road to win a game. And then the Steelers sneaking in a head of the ravens who went on the road against the chargers a week ago. So if this all plays out, which of these sixteen in your opinion is playing best right now might have the capacity to make a long run. You gotta calling. We can flip labor the week, whatever it may be all of these teams realistically have a shot in my opinion a home team on the division weekend that gets a win going in. Can you win win on the road? How about the Houston Texans going.

Patrick Mahomes of Kansas City Chiefs sets mark with 22 touchdown passes in first 8 career games

"You. So much. It's so interesting because you wanna you wanna look at this chief team because you look at them last year what five and all right? And then the the season that went on from their two thousand thirteen it were nine nine with Alex Smith at quarterback, and they went to and five their last seven games ended up not even winning the division. I don't believe that year that the lost in the wildcard round to Houston when they had used like five quarterbacks during the season. I think two thousand thirteen I think I think it was. But then again, that's where they started out nine. And no my point being more that it's like, yeah. I look into the platform the colts. Maybe the they lost to the colts. They lost to the colts. At you. High forty four big comeback. Unreal Dwayne everybody. And then you go back to Andy Reid and Philadelphia close into deal closing the deal. You know, this guy goes to NFC championship game after NFC championship game one to and they can't run them out of town fast enough. But that's gonna be the book is, okay. It all looks good. But can they finally close it out? They've been there before Andy Reid has been there before, you know, Philadelphia. Kenny finally, close it up man with this with Mahomes. It just seemed like the kid is just fearless out there last night was about teams that were both there to try and show. They could defy expectations of those past versions of themselves and one team in Kansas City, continued to stave that off for the time being and the other in the Bengals invited all the usual, criticisms, right? Exactly. I mean, I think that's another loss by Andy Dalton on Sunday night. I don't think he's a verse to Sunday night. I think normally if you're on a Sunday night, you're playing it gets a really good team. It's a Mark up more than anything else. But to the point about Andy Reid, here's Andy Reid, not talking about Patrick Mahomes, but talking about the running game, which let's hope he can. Continues to talk and remember about throughout this entire season Kareem is what you did last year too mean he's playing as well as any rain back in the National Football League. He's not only running the ball like crazies, catching the football. I actually took him out before he broke the hundred yard marker had an opportunity to for this game. But he would have done that goes off to Kareem. I just I think he's playing great football right now and tougher bone. So he's punishing right now. And that's. Something to watch. And the interesting thing there guys is we saw this from Corinne last year in his rookie year. And remember he sorta hit that rookie wall right around week nine or week ten and his production fell way off. So you have to think that Kareem now understands better how to handle himself going forward for the longer season in the NFL is opposed to a while. We're given a lot of love to pack them homes and Kareem at offense. But we've seen a lot of power out of that offense. But what have we seen on the other side? We see at times a horrible defense. This defensive went up against what we thought it was pretty good offense or a lot of weapons on offense and only gave up ten points only gave up ten point. Now Cincinnati had to get out of there out of their game plan ios twenty four seven at halftime thirty one seven with eleven minutes ago in the third quarter. So you kind of have to adjust a little bit. But any Andy Dalton fifteen of twenty nine they they rushed for only sixty five yards again, they couldn't run as much because of the game plan. But you gotta get some credit to that the Kansas City Kansas City defense gets put in a nice situation because they get to. Play more one dimensional on defensive knowing the opponent has to pass the ball a little more and that helps and then they have to go out and get the job done. Yeah. You've got to hold up your end of the bargain the way the team is built the two thousand twelve team. I played on at Notre Dame the number one defense in college football. So we knew we were going to get more cracks at it. Because they turn the ball over a lot, and they were going to get more stops, which meant we had more offense obssession. So we had to just hit on a big place. Something put a consistent drive together. Every once in a while to spell them. So that they could go and continue to be great while we were above average on offense for this Kansas City. Chiefs defense, you have to just go out there and pick spots where you get stopped. Be situational the way Tedy Bruschi and others have described modern NFL defense because your offense more often than not is going to put you in more advantageous advantageous situations than almost any other team in football. Absolutely. But you gotta give the chiefs defense credit 'cause the Bengals started that game with the ball. And they started with a three and out which I think, you know, I think people in Kansas.

"Patriot Tedy Bruschi teddy. Listen willing to guest was on the Dan lebatardshow got yesterday. And they asked him a very interesting question. They said will you stop playing in two thousand eight does it surprise you at all that in two thousand eighteen Tom Brady is still out there doing the things he's doing. So I'll ask you you stop playing in two thousand nine and here we are nine years or ten years later and Tom Brady is still out there doing those things now getting to five hundred career touchdown passes is any of this surprising to you or having played with him. Is this what you expected? No, I didn't expect him to do it this long. I don't think anyone zooms that quarterbacks going to go in. I mean back in two thousand eight or nine that a quarterback's going going to go into his forties and still win the MVP play. Like he did against the eagles in the Super Bowl throw five hundred touchdown passes. It's just it's rare. I mean, do you even when Tom started is very first year? Did we think that? Oh, yeah. This is it this is a hall of fame quarterback. This is a guy that's been a leader to Super Bowl championships. No. We didn't think that it was only until maybe his second or third year that you see moments of his like in the Carolinas Super Bowl when he just starts taking over or until oh seven when he has that that fifty touchdown season that you knew that Tom Brady had turned into Tom Brady but early on in his career, you don't need on assume that because what he's doing is just rare. It's just special. I saw today is first touchdown pass to Terry. Glenn? Pretty sure I was there for that one. And then seeing the five hundred one last night so seeing all of his touchdown passes throughout the course of the year. I mean, I'm proud of proud of him. And he's a friend of mine, of course. But this type of longevity guys on the anyone can see. Oh, yeah. We saw that coming Ted teddy in the now, and then this year take us take us in that locker room more multi nobody can go in the locker room that people see as so professional, and sometimes you don't see a lot of emotion just giving the answers that they need to give tell us about the players in there from the beginning of the season when there was no Ataman. Josh Gordon, hadn't really been activated yet to now the weaponry of Gordon of element of gronkowski of of the players in their emotions of where they think they probably are right now when you miss a a big puzzle piece like that like Julian Edelman, it's and then he finally you fit them into the grooves. And then there you have it. And I think just on the first drive if you watch it last night. The place election in how Tom was spreading the ball around Julian Edelman in the middle of the field. It was rob gronkowski awful play action pass. It was James white out of the backfield. And it was Cordeiro Patterson with a little know quick screens. That's that's the New England. Patriots offense pretty much the triangle of trust. For Tom Brady is the gronkowski. It's ESPN, and it's the running back which is James white right now. So that going forward is going to be the constant in what defenses are going to have to stop. But then add onto that possibly, you know, the extra production of Sony Michelle and the running game and Josh Gordon on the outside. And then I introduce you to the two thousand eighteen New England Patriots offense. That's what it's going to be. And what a perfect situation for Josh, Gordon because okay. You get all the attention the squirrels back. That's great. Okay. Gronkowski Brady all of those attention getters. And then I can if I'm Josh Gordon. I can just say, you know, I'm just gonna quietly settle in over here and figure out my role, and they don't expect sixteen hundred yards for me. Like I did in the past. They just expect an explosive play for me this handful of routes that I have to focus on this is easy for me. It's a great situation for him to succeed. Also, ESPN NFL analyst Tedy Bruschi women restored giving us the straight talk. Brought to you by straight talk wireless. Best phones, best networks, no contracts and sticking with Josh Gordon, teddy you've been around this patriot organization a long time as a player is someone still close there now, and we always see this guys were brought in who've had issues. Elsewhere. What's that conversation? Like when you get a player who's coming from the outside who maybe has a little bit of trouble that he's trying to put behind what's that conversation like with the guys in the locker room. How does how do we always seem to see the patriots get guys to buy in? Well. Being a former leader in there myself in new guys coming in the conversation. I always had with them was once she entered the facility will judge you on what you will judge you by what you do now. No, nothing that was in the past just from here on out. Now that you're in the building it's what you do. And for a lot of players. That's that's sort of. You know, it's refreshing. It sorta just it takes takes a burden off of them that the past doesn't matter here. Bella check constantly harps on that in terms of. He doesn't care what you did in the past even on the field in terms of all pro MVP's or anything like that. It's about twenty eighteen so helping those players just move forward is something that I think it helps. It helps those veteran players that bed jump into that situation succeed, I think with Josh Gordon, you look for certain things. And after he scored that touchdown the reaction of the other teammates the reaction of Brady and everyone sort of coming to him everyone is genuinely wanting him to succeed. And I hope that I hope that he feels. I think he feels that how they really need him. He really needs them and him developing that relationship and them showing him that we are with you. We're here we're here to support you and help you succeed in this football is football thing. We got going here. I mean, that's a that's a perfect situation for him. It absolutely is. And I just think by the end of this season. The patriots gonna be laughing their, you know, what's off everyone.

"Let's stay on the subject of defense for a second because you wanted offensive side of the ball, and you see people whether it's the clay Matthews lamenting, these new rules by the National Football League, Josh Norman, going off about it. You've heard numerous players throughout the least swearing you're talking about how disrespectful it is to the game of football to be calling the game. So softly in an effort to protect quarterbacks. What has been Tedy Bruschi feelings about the league? And the modifications would rules is a pertains to hitting the quarterbacks or tackling all together because it seems to be alarming to every defensive player that I know your thoughts. I got to change the way I coach my players to approach the quarterback to where don't touch him anymore. Tackle the ball, tackle the ball, get their stripped. The ball, don't even try to be physical or send it send a message to him by driving him into the ground or or or or tackling tackling him to the ground. The goal has to change now because if this emphasis continues, you have to change, you have to evolve and realize that's just the way it's going to be so ball disruption running towards a quarterback with their hands up trying to strip the ball rather than trying to deliver a physical hit. That's one. The second thing is start to scout your officials because if it's Karenni, if it's Coleman, whoever it may be as those referees in the back, their interpretations are also different. And this is what bothers me because some of them I can do this to a quarterback and it didn't get called, but they, you see this other game. It did get cold. So I gotta start to have reels in terms of these calls, whoever. My referee is in the back in terms of how he calls roughing the passer because it could change from week to week. You got to add that extra element defensive lineman. They have sack reels during the week. Russia was show me every single sack in terms of what what, what worked in terms of moves to get to the quarterback. Now it's gotta be okay. Who ref? How's he calling it and let study I get that. And I understand that you know, you gotta adjust because obviously you're not the ones in power, the NFL the NFL office. The league office is we get all of that. That's very realistic approach. We expect nothing less from you, but the flip side would I'm asking you really about how you feel about the nuances that have taken place the modifications in the nuances associated with it that has taken place. Do you believe it is good for the game of football for the NFL to have done what they've done in a concerted effort to protect the quarterback. Man, that's a hard question in the hard question because I'm seeing it from both sides in terms of what makes this league successful and and just destroy a football team. Okay. And what defenders it used to be able to do the quarterbacks, you know it was you could once you had them in that air, you can really think about how you wanted to plant the guy. Let's say, should I killed him on his left shoulder? Should I leave him on his back? Should I mean those thoughts really enter your mind? I would enter mind when I'd have a quarterback after they hit and we're on the way down. I could control myself to tilt him down and drive his head into the ground or maybe a shoulder That's what you can do to these guys in the past. I think they do have to be protected, but I think our players are learning and and adjusting to where that key word in the rule. If a player unnecessarily drives the quarterback to the ground, that's the emphasis that needs to be changed with these officials because various, I mean, the clay Matthews hit, you can see the effort of him trying. To try to not do it and also a quarterback possibly possibly flopping. You know, in going straight to the ground or like Ben Rothlisberger Ted, when he gets hit in the head and make it look a little bit worse than it is it starting to become NBA sh we have to stop that. Got it. Tedy Bruschi right here was Steven a. ESPN radio, ESPN news, couple other games that I wanted to get into before we get on outta here..

"Tedy Bruschi right here with Steven a. on ESPN and let's get to some football news on the field obviously as well the Minnesota Vikings going up against the Los Angeles Rams Thursday night football. What are you looking to see from tonight's game? What's the number one thing you looking? What's the number one question that you want answered rather into night's game. Cantu Minnesota Vikings answer from that egg. They laid last week versus the Buffalo Bills. Do they deserve the type of credit that we wanna give them in terms of being an upper echelon team in the National Football League. Because right now they're getting passed over and the team that's passing them over is the Los Angeles Rams. They're the ones with the high powered offense and the defense that is tops in the in the league in terms of holding holding points off the board from opposing offenses. So you know, the ran the Vikings, they have their talent. They have did d Lyman. They have defensive backs. They have explosive weapons on the offensive side of the ball is Kirk cousins playing as well as Jared Goff. Absolutely not do people try to look at Kirk cousins and say, you should be playing much better because you get paid a lot more. The money doesn't mean anything. The money's not gonna change him as a player. You know, he struggled at times in the past in terms of leading his team to victory. But now it's a different level here. You've got a team that was on the cusp of doing something very special last year, and you were supposed to be that missing piece. He needs to prove that he can help this team beat the elite of the NFL. And right now, the best team in the league is the Los Angeles Rams, say the Los Angeles Rams are the best team in the league. He does wear my trepidation kicks in from a talent perspective. There's nothing the question, particularly if a key to leave and Marcus Peters were both still healthy and within Donald ensue and broccoli and Aaron Donald on that defensive line, we know they're monsters that we understand what they bring to the table offensively with Jared Goff Todd Gurley. We know what they what they've got going on Cup, let me not forget him as well. But they did spend the first two weeks playing the Oakland Raiders with Al Khalil Mack and the Arabs ONA car is hapless as they as they come at this particular moment of time. And then there's the Los Angeles charges. I liked the charges, but they wanted to own a year. Did a second worst defensive team in the National Football League in terms of points allow they ranked twenty five against the past twenty four th against the rush. I'm not sold. On the charges. So to me who have the Los Angeles Rams played in order to be having the the Lord Ables attacks to them that has been attached to them. That's true. That's true. That's a good point, but they're beating them convincingly, you know, they just looked dominant. They don't have to squeak by these teams that they're supposed to pummel in at times I, it is dominant in terms of the plays, their defenses making and how they dominate those one on one individual matchups. This will be different. I think this is Thursday night game. That's one of the best that I've that I've been hoping hoping looking forward to see in a while. I mean Rams Vikings two great teams. So they to have to prove something. This is a good defensive unit. They're going up against. And so both sides got something to prove any Bruschi. Here's what here's my problem with what I'm hearing you say you sound like you're liking Thursday night, football. I'm not a fan. I'm really not a fan of Thursday night football Tedy Bruschi. I hate the fact that you know it's a. Short week, and we're able to look to teams as being ill prepared. And you know what is is is an exciting as that Brown's jets game was last week. What did Jamal Adams for the New York Jets get quarter saying, albeit misconstrued to some degree because he came back and wanted to clarify his position. The initial impression he gave was that we were not prepared from Baker Mayfield and see to me excuses like that. And it's not necessarily say excuses as if you're looking to point the finger, it's up to, but stuff like that happens when there's a short week and folks are able to point to a lack of preparation, having contributed to the demise, what are you?.

I'm doing great, always a pleasure. Let's get right to the biggest news of the day. That's far every Reed has a job after all the man that did that kneeled with a Colin cap, Nick and ultimately found himself ostracised from the. It's about time because this is a very capable football player that can do a lot of things. A lot of things for your defense owners, they see the Neal, they associate him with Colin Kaepernick. They try to make new anthem policies and with all this, they think about who created all of this, whereas the distraction, why don't we? We're trying to keep our team clean. So that's why this young man hasn't had a job for so long. But all of a sudden the NFL season starts progressing, I think, is the north jersey for the Panthers. I think he he was put on. I r you get safety issues. You got injuries all over the place. All of a sudden, who's the guy out there that finally, you gotta take a chance with its Eric Reed. I'm happy for him. He deserves to be playing football. It's what he does. It's what he's good at proud of everything he's stood for, but now it's time to get the play football again. How much do you think this helps the NFL. The fact that he's that he's finds himself employed now, even though there's still a collusion case being all that's taking place against the National Football League on behalf of collar cabinet, you know, big props at least to the Carolina Panthers. I'll say that in terms of the NFL as a whole, I don't know. But this is an owner in the Carolina Panthers a new owner and he's, he's, he's obviously had to have okayed this. I mean, it's like you go to a method pepper. We're gonna sign, Eric, read, just making sure this is okay. I'm assuming this conversation was going to happen because it's been read. It's been camper. Nick, the discussion of all of this, you know, it's going to bring some type of stories or minor distractions to your team possibly for him to say it's alright, and we want him on our team for what's best for our football team. You know props to him. I know you don't know the answer to this question, but I'm going to ask you anyway because of your -ffiliated with the National Football League, particularly at a championship level and knowing what you know about the National Football League. Giving, Eric, read this job. Any idea in your mind as to whether or not this is a preemptive strike by the National Football League to sort of send a message to Colin cabinet. You drop the collusion case and you promised to stand for the national anthem. Hey, you two will be employed again. Any possibility that that's the kind of message that they were trying to send by making sure that evergreen found himself in job. Sure. Yeah, I don't know. I, I would. I would hope that Eric Reed would still have the freedom to do whatever he felt like he wanted to do for that team stay in the locker room kneel during the national anthem. You know, put up your hand with a fish, do whatever you wanna do young man because you are free to do that. It is a free country. I hope that just that fact, for the matter is just the way it goes for him how it goes to call and capper Nick. I'm not hooking not trying to send messages out there because it will call and capper Nick and both him and Eric reader, you know, too strong willed individuals that are going to do what they feel is right. And that's where I hope it stays..

"I get all of that, but considering a thirty million dollar contract, he consistently gets paid. I think that the Thomas come when we talk about drew Brees Tom Brady and arrages. Listen when I'm thinking about a Matt Ryan. I don't question his skill set. I just think that they have been too many big moments where he has lost off of them. That's my issue with Matt Ryan. What about you? There you go. And that's why I said, I've said this week that you know that fourth quarter for Matt Ryan is with with on wanna see from him. Guy that do that just takes his team down the field and you mentioned all of those other quarterbacks Brady's the Rodgers out of quarterbacks. I'm gonna I'm gonna there. There was. I went rather have in the fourth quarter with a last drive when you need one school, you need to feel gore. You need to get it in the end zone. I'll just see north still fresh in my Merlin of even the play Cole of rolling out a on fourth and two and trying to hit Julio Jones. An inch is looking like that's just wasn't a good play and it wasn't run. And and did it look like Matt, Ryan didn't believe in it. You know, I just think that their mentalities that I have more faith in in terms of fourth quarter quarterbacks last drive. What does it say to you that when we talk about the upper echelon of the National Football Conference to NFC that we don't talk about Carolina and Cam Newton, was that telling you. It tells me that there are a lot of good teams because I still see Carolina's a solid football team, but stacked up against all the improvements that have been made of the other teams that you mentioned. Will they be competitive? Yes. I mean, it's just that it's those other teams that I just feel right now are better than they are. Tedy Bruschi right here with Steven a. on ESPN radio, Green Bay. When I think about Green Bay, I think about my McCarthy. I'm not gonna lie to you. Think about a God. Obviously know something about coaching. He's been to the playoffs. They straight years before they missed out last year when Rogers went down on game for the season, but still in all, I'm thinking about the fact that you gotta talent like Amran Rogers at some point in time..

"Truly. What's going on? Tell you, how will you met Stephen? A football is back. I'm excited, big game tonight. NFL weekend. Just excited to get back to work the ball. Help me out here for a second. From what I hear about you, you never leave football. I'm you coach in high school and stuff like that was been going on in the life of Tedy Bruschi I wanna know. Was year round for me. I mean, if I'm not if I'm not watching these NFL games, I'm helping coach over, you know, my seven plays football. So I watch out with coach with the team when I can out there and we just, we just got through a couple of weeks two and a half weeks of camp, their openers this Friday. So I got NFL opener tonight, high school Friday, night opener. You know, Saturday college football and Sunday, the NFL weekend and never stops, and I love it, Personalizing it just a little bit teddy before we get into the NFL. You've got a lot of parents out there in this day and age that you know, express condemned could express concerns about the the state of the state of the game football, the violence, the concussions, and things of that nature. And they don't want their kids playing football. Where do you fall in all of that? What's your mentality considering the age of concussions and all of that other stuff. And how does that affect you as a parent as you'd think about football? That's a great question, especially, I mean, I have three, so my oldest son decided not to play football. I was absolutely fine with that. My younger to wanna play football and I've told them, you have to wait till you're fourteen to your fourteen freshmen in highschool is when they start Baidoa that I'm sure they can throw made sure you're baking cats. I put them in flag football, do all of those things because I want them to develop athletically and developed physically and a little bit more before they start putting the helmet on and the shoulder pads on. So uncomfortable with that, I love football. It's a great sport. I am actually in favour of what the NFL is trying to do with the new helmet role and how they're trying to figure it out because they're trying to make it safer and they have to be the leaders because as the trickles down to college in high school and the pop Warner levels, they have to see the NFL take that lead in the proper way they to use a helmet, and there is no way to use a helmet with the way to do it as you put it on and it protects us. It protects you. And that's what it's for. That's a different. That's a shift in philosophy in terms of what. They used to show the players used to use those helmets as weapons. I know that that's the way it used to be coaches used even coach that way at time. So say the in a waiting to my kids play fourteen, I am totally okay with that playing football in high school, you know, some parents believe in starting them a little bit younger, and I'm okay with that too. As long as you're coached? Well, because this is a fantastic sport where children of all ages can especially learn a lot of life lessons. And I have so much that I owe to the game of football teddy Bruschi is their particular team in the National Football League in this day and age who you believe, does it the right way in terms of teaching tackling techniques and engaging themselves in a way or gauging their players their roster in a way that shows you the right things to the right way to do things in terms of tackling. But in the same breath, protecting yourself and being formidable as tackling unit. Is there a particular team that you admire in terms of how. They've gone about really evolving and his day and age. I believe that all NFL teams do their best to coach properly in terms of head up, not using the crown of the helmet as a as a point force weapon to deliver punishment..
