"Already, we have two hundred yards rushing. All we need is. is six inches, kirk cousins I mean maybe even fall forward I like to call I like to call. Of course, it didn't work out for the Vikings, and again that's a game that they should win like a million times out of a million because they the way they dominated in the first half they're only up thirteen nothing. You let the seahawks come back I. Listen Russell Wilson is incredible and maybe when Jamal Adams is out there the seahawks look better. But from what I saw from the seahawks and watching them, you know, I, think we've watched every single one of their games that defense doesn't get fixed. They're they can't. They can't win like they can't go deep in the playoffs and that defense that was The Vikings had five drives were they had ten plays plus. Yeah. I I think the first quarter of the Vikings had the ball like ninety percent of the time I'm not gonNA call. But I think Mike Zimmer actually, kirk cousins a huge favor tonight by by getting all the conversation off of him. We're not talking about Kirk cousins losing a primetime game anymore because he played overall he played well. Add to the list of things that he can't do primetime bright lights, playoffs, and rain. Those are those are the four things that we know for the pig was bad. He needs to he needs to wear gloves I think he should rock to gloves but I think he likes showing off that wedding ring being like Yeah I act like a virgin but guess what I've had sex says it right here on my finger in your face. But yeah, the the Seattle seahawks defense was they looked like a bunch of mall security guards wherein those bright green like the guys in the in the parking lot say actually you know what this spots for expectant mothers right now please move to the next spot. They they didn't look professional defense they missed Davey UNCLOUDY as well. Yeah. All Adams. Yet have they. The twelve's the where everything was everything on their defense looked bad tonight. The twelve's I. Mean Chris Collins was actually right I think when he said Mike. Zimmer probably would not go fourth down if the stadium was filled with people screaming if like Michele Tafoya was down on the sidelines, holding up a picture of a jumbo jet being like it's loud this. Former that was that was a weird thing though to bring up being like the crowd the lack of crowd I think well, I think he's right. because. Here's so no. If you're listening earlier in the game, they Chris Collins were said I was talking to Carro and we're talking about the defense and how maybe the defense doesn't have an edge because they have that crowd. So he was trying to find a way to rework his research into the conversation but okay at least from a Fan's perspective hearing the stadium that loud when Michele Tafoya, is screaming at you take. The lawn I don't care. I still would have gone for it. I would have to Mike Zimmer. I like actually the vikings like even in a lost they look like they have fight which is all especially after the start that they've had. Yeah Dalvin. Cook if he's healthy kids sale today have the Falcons next week. So guess what they're going to win next week I think the Vikings are fraudulently bad. Say Something Nice about about the vikings they're not. They're the best worst team in the League right now. You're the best. I don't know about the Falcons. No No. Definitely not the Falcons Falcons your terrible falcons are truly truly terrible team GonNa, look real quick I'll give you I. I like the chargers member I switched to I'm down with Justin Herbert, I'm going to bet on him on Monday night and I will get to the forty niners but if they can figure out like a couple of things I don't know. Yeah. They're they're in there. It's like the forty niners, the cardinals. The Vikings but I'd say the forty niners in cardinals are like. I mean they're like they're like include arable. They're good average teams I think the Vikings are a good bad team. I'm looking. At the Vikings beat any team in charge I'm answered the chargers and also the eagles the eagles which we will also get you eagles are in the NFC east. Absolutely. They're they're GONNA win the season ended today no. Yes. No are the cowboys cowboys. Cowboys would All right. Let's get to the rest of the Games will start with. Panthers Falcons Dan Quinn has officially been fired his last play call as a head coach for the Falcons was a field goal in a loss which is so so fitting and. Here's a little fun. We we had the the browns always firing their coaches after the steelers loss, and this is now a trend for the Falcons Arthur blank fire, Jim Moore Junior Mike Smith Dan Quinn which Mike Smith, and Dan Quinn kind of the same guy like in your head they're Kinda just blend together. Does Mike Smith is he's got that like silver. Fox. They have the same blink stare. They've got the same same packs. Breasts after all of them were fired after loss of the panthers so Little thing he does I knew it was over when Arthur blank walked down onto the sideline the fourth quarter just kind of hovered behind him lake like the grim reapers henchman or the other guy that the grim reaper since your door to collect somebody to bring him to the grim reaper like he was just kind of hovering back there I I, was over when. They ran todd Gurley in the first drive of the game and todd Gurley had fifty nine yards and they went right down the field and scored, and then he didn't touch the ball for the rest of the first half. Yeah. That's when I knew was over with. Dan Quinn coached the falcons the way we think about the falcons he's always thinking well, we have all these wide receivers in number one picks we have to throw the ball all the time. He just forgetting the fact that Matt Ryan has quickly become like old good old quarterbacks that don't have the mobility. They reach a point where they just become the like tastiest treat for the defensive line to sack like Matt Ryan is just the easiest sacked quarterback ever but let's give credit teddy bridgewater. Bridgewater Hall Teddy Bridgewater. Bridgewater was great one thing about the the Falcons I heard somebody say Bill Brian that's not happening I'm. Might. Have Bill Branca's also fired their GM and GM was is pretty much Rasputin. Wait to. Metro. Fire to..

"Agree with them. Releasing Cam Newton. But they did that. every franchise. We'll do that whether both parties agreed mutual separation or just comes about it the way it does however each team evaluates in one a new team when a new organization has a new owner and then eventually gets a new head. Coach transitions happen in each coach and owner? They want their guys whether people like it or not. That's just the way business. Goes you feel more comfortable. And you take the wins and unfortunately lumps of losses a little bit better when you have guys that she feel more comfortable with. That's wrong or indifferent that's just the way it is when you're talking about millions and billions of dollars in other men's Egos and perspective and I don't I as a player I didn't necessarily agree with and I didn't see it that way but now obviously has gotten older and seeing a lot of how things have transpired through the back through the channels of what's way businesses done in football and being a businessman or attempting to be a businessman like myself. I can respect not always agree. Respect the way things are done and understand that. Sometimes when money's involved egos things are gonNA get messy is teddy bridgewater a franchise quarterback. They picked him up in free agency and I look at free agency as a quick fix duct tape. That's for Free Agency is the draft is about getting long-term Acquisitions you do your homework. You do your you. You CHECK THEIR SOCIAL. You get their social security number. You get all of their information. That's what the draft is. Free Agency is it is really is. You're just far on someone for that amount of time. And then you get the guy that you want to draft or maybe to free agency ED or trade for young player. That's how you free agency and Teddy Bridgewater Ormat role in the Carolina. Panthers that's their guy for right now I think your take on. Espn RADIO THE ESPN APP. Espn news. I'm Jason Fitz. I think the panthers at one of the more compelling teams to look at right now trying to figure out what they do moving forward the shutdown obviously in the lack communication makes things difficult for Matt Rule and obviously they rebuild the organization but also how are they rebuilding the organization. What's the approach especially going into the draft where they have a high a high draft pick? What's their approach in looking impact versus looking at trades versus? Looking at how they're going to build. So what we like to do here. Espn radio presented by Progressive Insurance Progressive. Homequote explorer gives you multiple quote options. So you can pick what's right for you see for yourself of course dot com. We like to be a little progressive and take the QB continued series a step further and by by getting somebody to come on. That's an expert that can give us the current thoughts on all things panthers so ESPN Panthers reporter David. Newton joins us. David Hope you guys are safe and well and everybody's great. Thank you so much for taking the time. When you look at the approach for the panthers coming into this draft I mean we know the deal for Christian McCaffrey. We know Teddy Bridgewater. Are they viewing teddy bridgewater as the franchise quarterback that they're going to build around or they still looking for that? I came along where you said. Teddy Bridgewater as a quarterback or now I mean you look at it. He's got three or deal. The first two years A fairly team friendly but then that third year they're har we're teddy friendly but the third year you know the team wanted to get out of it and they could do that without you know. Really hurting them As far as just the salary cap so I totally ruled out that if the right quarterback with phone number seven did they would take a fire on that and say say say fell that far and you know to in these a year to still sit out and make sure he's completely healthy. I mean bridgewater. Be a pretty good person to the learn behind Yeah he's a generational type player. Bridgewater you kind of know what you got. He's he's solid. He's not spectacular. They were used to. It can't but he is solid and a guy that they can depend on but are they gonNA depend on him long term. I don't know that but I I just don't think they're going to build around in as much as they're going to build more around Christian McCaffrey and what he can do. Because that's why they're going to have the long term deal To kinda build around him and everything he's all about as far as Volta Dimensional player we're talking to ESPN panthers reporter. David Newton I take your take ESPN radio. I'm Jason Fitz. That's interesting to me. David because Christian McCaffrey you talk about having the seventh overall pick. How could they best use that to help Christian McCaffrey while they spent most of their free agency trying to do things to help Christian McCaffrey they? They got Russell. Welcome to come play. Tackle that's GONNA help him. It's GONNA help Teddy Bridgewater short-term because this is the last year of his deal and he's getting up there in Hey But they've got a couple of left tackle in the in the fold right now. They wanted to up. They think can can be that long term got Robbie Anderson from the jets. That's another player that they feel like it had mentioned that offense. Would that'll help McCaffrey where he doesn't have to do as much I think they're going to spend most of this draft onto defense. They didn't pay a lot of tension to that in the draft. They've got some it'll help but most of those are one or two. Your deals guys that are in. There just wanted to bridge the gap so to speak so I mean if they have the right defensive tackles was there and they're gonna be your defensive tackle. There I mean a lot of my Derrick Brooks There and I still got brown hair. And they don't want him to have a lot of interest in the in South Carolina. Kim Loss choice there and who knows even a guy like Isaiah? Feminism Clemson could ball and he can play as that Sweeney told him that improving Clinton. He said that's why getting three first round draft picks and all the positions. He can play. So He's the guy they could. They probably be able to fit right in. My rule likes the guy that he calls the position player where he's not defined by physician and the. Guy Likes Simmons would would be sad so I think they could set themselves up. They don't have to take a specific player Pacific position right now the draft. If there's somebody there. That kind of intrigues them. Where they say that we're in pretty good shape that Kinda build From where they are right. Now I think I think the plan so forth pretty good office could be competitive with anybody The defense right NARA. Thanks got still a lot of questions I take your take on. Espn RADIO WE'RE TALKING TO ESPN. Panthers reporter David Dayton. We've talked a lot about matt rule and trying to figure out what the identity for coach is. GonNa look like in the NFL coming away from Baylor defensively. What is their approach and plan for an identity? Looks like they're gonNA Kinda go back to more based four three. They switched over from four three two three four last year. Underrun reveal whether they identified strictly that they WANNA play a lot of multiple fronts and the caver for what Matt Rule wants to do. What you know still snow their defensive coordinator instead they WANNA be fast and get to the ball and very aggressive. So that's why they got shot constant outside linebacker play cow summers. They re signed him to a long term deal at the end of the season. And he's a guy that can play all over the place about several other players. That can do that. So they're gonNA build around speed and aggressiveness right now. Defense and just go after it right there so I I don't know if they're gonNA depend as much on this big bodies in the middle of a pretty good one coming back this year and K on short who missed last year with a you with a shoulder injury. I think David any panthers fan would absolutely be furious with us. If we didn't at least address and talk about the Christian McCaffrey contracting as you get into the draft and look at it and mean much has been made about his production but that production hasn't always equalled winds so given what they've given a Christian McCaffrey to come in and be with the team long-term how do they translate that production into more wins. Well first of all you got to have a defense a gives you can't stop. Anybody doesn't matter what Christian McCaffrey does. And the last couple of years they really have a hat on solid defense and as a quarterback play has got to be solid two and the last two years cam uses I the shoulder injury then. The foot injuries he. He's really been A. That's been a key spot so I think getting bridgewater in their battle. Solidify that part. That's going to help McCaffrey. And held the offense in general because they last year particularly they would depending on totally unproven players. That should help them. I really liked the deal. They made with him. I know the surface is What the highest paid running back in? Nfl history sixteen million dollars a year with the extension. But if you look at it over it's going to go over six years now four years 'cause including this year and next year which would have been the fifth year option so you spread it all out over six years. It's really only twelve and a half million dollars a year and that's pretty good deal for a guy that does all Christian. Mccaffrey any any chance in your mind that this team. That's basically going to put this season off to the side and try and find a way to get themselves to you know as we all hear the tank for Trevor. Now will be the big thing try and get themselves into a Trevor Lawrence type situation next year. It's hard to predict. You can actually get the win. Total two trevor. I think if they if they knew they could go into the tank and get trevor. Yeah but you'RE GONNA be bad too out there so I don't think they've completely given up on this season at all wrote to this morning. How Matt Rule has kind of that? He got with that one year with giants. From Jerry Reese or former. Gm where you kind of put yourself in position by the middle of the season or to end the number to make a run at the play offs and then if you do that make the Super Bowl if you remember that kind of what they did. The giants did back in two thousand eleven. They were six six at one point and then got hot into the season and got the Super Bowl and beat the Patriots. And and that was what rule was coming into that situation when he was there so. I think if you look what they've done a pencil as you know like they can be competitive and they feel like they got a couple of good pieces on some draft. They can raise that level where they could be competitive. I don't think they could get to the point where they can be a serious playoff contender. But we've seen in the past Kansas. You have low expectations of surprise and this league you just never know can follow him on twitter at D. Newton. Espn David Newton. David has always man. We appreciate your insight. Thank you so much for the time and hope you guys stay safe. Same View. I David makes a great point there because Look in my mind. The panthers are too good to be too bad. I mean Christian. Mccaffrey is going to make them good enough to win. A lot of football game so tanking isn't in the for them. The most interesting thing about the draft to me is their placement. You'RE GONNA find out a lot about what they think at quarterback when they're picking where they are because if you're looking at seven th pick in the first round of the draft. You're looking at the opportunity to get a tremendous impact player. But you're also looking just enough there. Did they could try and move up. If they want to try to move up for quarterback they could try and move down if they if they're more interested in accumulating so you get a real sense of what they actually think of. Teddy Bridgewater Bridgewater contract could either be viewed as taking a chance on a future franchise quarterback or it can be viewed as bridging the gap until. You actually find you. Got The money to Christian McCaffrey to me is as much about the production as much about the ability to give you results on the field as it is about giving you a reason to be relevant. I mean Christian. Mccaffrey is GONNA keep butts in the seats. He's going to make this team relevant. And that does matter at some level. So if you're the panthers who by the way picking at seven..

"Say Tom Brady and every owner every head Kirk every? Gm is going to go. I mean tree But the reality is from talking to sources around the League. It seems Brady. It's a lot more interested in team than teams are actually interested in Tom. Brady I think a lot of organizations are sitting back right out watching to see how the next few days go out except tours of reporting yesterday that this week he expects Brady and the New England patriots to have some sort of conversation because they need to make a decision. New England needs to figure out what they're going to do here at the quarterback spot. Brady you coming back or not. I think once that conversation happens the chips begin to fall but in terms of breeze interest in these other teams versus teams being interested in Brady. I think it goes like this to this. Wasn't a ministry team in there from that clip. I don't think we did it exactly. Who Actually has the clip? Now Gordon Plate lunch I I think at this point right now. Brady's interests and other teams outweighs the amount of teams that are interested. Are there teams out there that are all in that I've talked to? I talked to Tampa Bay. They would love to have Tom Brady. They are willing to give Tom Brady the things he needs. He wants and some of those things that he wants control over. Rosser he wants to be part of the playbook or at least making decisions on the play calling. If you take a look at what Bruce. Arians has done in the past with Ben Rothlisberger. He's they both have been very public. About how as let Ben Hall plays so talk about a match made in heaven in terms of? That's breeze wants control. Bruce Arians is a guy he should match up with Tampa Bay Tampa Bay. Don't hate the thing about the receivers. Yeah the receivers Kevin's Chris Katelyn. They'd be really good in the end by the way the clip that I was looking for was the one where she says. The sleeper team for Tom. Brady is the New England patriots. They've become the sleeper team. No everybody's got going somewhere else back for. The chargers quarterback for team is why? You don't always believe in Vegas. No you find but if you ever went the answers things follow the money. The Vegas has the odds on favourite for Brady design with is the Patriots until that changes. Nobody knows anything right. You know it's Patriots minus one eighty titans plus five fifty are the second pick and I bothered me got. I think the odds are absolutely right. I think Tom Brady staying with the Patriots. And you've wagered a lot of mythical money ten grand against that but I think in this particular case did you see. Qb tenure now. Yup just no chance. He's see our old friend keyshawn. Johnson says he's staying in New England key. Got An eleven on the Wunderlich. What does he know? Don't attack the intelligence of my friend. Keyshawn Johnson you had triple the score Ki. Did on the wonder look. The Wunderlich is not an accurate measure for anybody's intelligence. I hear on the morning show all the time. He is definitely smarter than L Z granderson and Travis Roddy The only people who say that are people that scored under thirty five on. The one is the second smartest guy on this station after me. Yeah that boy that's amazing Aron Keyshawn to your combined. Wunderlich score your thirty and his eleven. I worked with Artie Shaw. We would have the smartest show on radio. I think it's the show would be called me and Ki Ki would go for that okay You know it would be the key Shan show with his little buddy mace. Yeah I like Qian me key and me is a great show Ya. He's been back in Bristol. I know he's been on there talking about how Tom Brady's GonNa resign with New England. Yeah that's his. That's his pitch. Were there are others? Who are absolutely convinced of it. Like there's a shift Arlington. Says he'd be shocked if he does go back to the Patriots. I think it was field. Yates who said he'd be shocked if he doesn't write. There's very there's great divaesque. Both thinking about that happens. When thing happened I watched get up every single day. I'm so sick of Tom Brady. I'm always Tom Brady. There's just too much Tom Brady. I get he's going to go somewhere or is GonNa stay in New England enough already you all making up. Mace think about those though. The chargers have nothing going for them in L. A. It's not GonNa have no fan base. Yes they can't sell tickets. Yeah they're going into a brand new stadium and oh by the way. They just cut ties with fennel broken-down. Tom Brady is not the answer. For the San Diego literally becomes the face of the franchise overnight for what ten minutes to get him to sell tickets They've got a terrible heart. Lindsey where do you think he's going Brady? I think he's GonNa end up playing out here. They're just not part of here. I you just say your second. You said the same thing as saying things. Take Joe say saying stuff now. This is his. This was his exact reaction when I told him Lebron and Chris Bosh were going to Miami. He was adamant that is wrong. Tom Brady is not going back to the Tom. Brady's going back to the Patriots Fan. And he's not and if he goes somewhere. It's not going to be the chargers. He's not going to go to a wool. Begun San Diego chargers team with a terrible offensive line. That's the one thing he he just made a big trade to get an all pro guard and they're going to draft to tackle with the six pick so they just slide brady writing. I think that's where they're going to take a quarterback to develop. How rain wait a minute within. Who plays quarterback this year They send somebody like Teddy Bridgewater. They're not GONNA be able to sign Teddy Bridgewater Bridgewater. Tyrod Taylor one of those. Many guys bridgewater. Yes it's not clarity have Taylor. I am so confused right now about the the rams logo. Oh let's let's get into that. I'm not confused by got a theory on that loan. Also the very very latest on what is going to happen with the NBA. The up to the minute what. We've got no decision has been made but what could happen and also NC double A. Tournament the way it's being impacted by the corona virus. That's all coming up for you Mason Ireland Seventeen Espn..

"Broadcasting Centre crew has been very busy today turning around some Daniel Jones sound as quickly as we can. That's going to be in our news update second Chris and I. I WANNA take a couple of phone calls. Folks have been patiently waiting. We had two very long interviews and our number one and two in studio and Let's turn to death in a New Orleans. What's up seth rich how you doing? How are you seth all right talking with like the jets nicknames I wanted you to think of you've gotta be faulk and sickened me? Na It's coming. It's coming to a backpage near you and New York City but it's common and then I I wonder if your opinion about Teddy Bridgewater because because you know like I'm smarts broken that your reasons out but I think after a week she might be okay well. Here's the thing seth news is breaking right now that I'll pass on to you while you're here on the phone that the breeze is not being put on injured reserve which is good news that means they can be back within six weeks because otherwise you'd you'd put him on injured reserve and that would be eight right right so that's a and B. What did it Brockman? What did he tell you yesterday that we're talking about the wrong quarterback correct correct? Let's talk about the rain wrong. quarterback tastes him hill in in my mind is going to be utilized by Sean Payton in a manner that he's been holding back because he's got a golden era parent if you know what put him in now thanks for the call Seth yes Sean Payton has refused to name Teddy Bridgewater as the starter this week against Seattle Seattle. Get ready for the first two quarterback system the NFL has seen he's coming. He was asked if he was gonNA limit tastes tastes them hills usage and other positions. Hell no now that he's the number two quarterback Sean Payton responded. You're assuming he's the number two correct number two and all I was looking for to confirm my belief about tastes. Hill was the addition of third quarterback and who was signed to the practice squad J. T. Barrett Eric who I I'm just I would be. I wouldn't be stunned. They're only gonNA use Emma short yard situation. It would not be deedee help help. They need J. T. Barrett on fourth downs that they'll get when they shouldn't right okay. He's a specialist at that yet. He's a specialist by the way one of the greatest college the football players we've ever seen including Ohio state with. I am boiling him down to one play just to make myself a better feel better inside J. T. Barrett Eric. I wouldn't be surprised if he's active for the game because you just in case one of these Tastes Hill could get blown up over the Middle Blah or or he's GonNa take the majority of the snaps and bridgewater will come in on certain passing downs in heels GONNA come out and in or he'll go out to slot and and Teddy Bridgewater Bridgewater will be quarterback and it might be Teddy Bridgewater taking ninety percent of the snaps but why let Pete Carroll know a damn thing yeah good luck good luck Seattle on trying to figure out what's coming your way and you know Sean. Payton is not viewing owe us. ARGO quarterback is out there goes our season season. No he's got a ton of pieces and that diamond between his temples here they come. I'm excited to see that game and as you know are small and unluckiest lock of the week is what I smell. There might be a few this week. We'll do that tomorrow L. But I I am not looking at the saints like Duh there. They go. I mean forget it and you know Teddy. Bridgewater stunk it up and week seventeen seventeen and he didn't really look all that good in Los Angeles when he had a you know the game was still a game and go the saints. I can't wait to see see what Payton's conjuring up because there's no rules there are no rules.

"We'll get to that in a minute a few minutes but let's start with the rundown of these injuries since we last spoke to you on Sunday. We now know that drew brees is going going to have surgery on his torn ligament in his right thumb wrapped. She reports that the timeframe for recovery is approximately six weeks. Sean Sean Payton has to now move forward with Teddy Bridgewater who has been. Let's say underwhelming thing in his limited time behind center but now they're calling on teddy to keep the ship afloat until drew can come back. I think anybody who's ever met or spent time around around. Teddy Bridgewater wants him to succeed but not than we've seen from him in real game action since his catastrophic injury would give have you confidence that he's going to succeed and last week performance against the rams in which he got very little help from his running game or his receivers. The game was just too fast for him so with with a week of prep does that go away but if I'm a saints fan that scares me and I'm still gonNA wonder in the back of my mind should take him. He'll be quarterback in this team. I would like to say something you hit on the name that nobody's talking enough about if you don't think Sean Payton sitting back here and saying what do I have here at my disposal that I can use in the next six weeks if you if you think the ravens can suddenly turn on a dime last year and change offense from flacco to Lamar Jackson so so successfully and Sean Payton is the guy who can probably do that within literally five minutes on the back of a cocktail Napkin. I think Tastes Hill is going to get way more snaps than anybody thinks and I would look for who is third string. Do they have third straight just re-signed J. T. Barrett two guys today right. Yes that was the sign I was like. Let's see if they sign a third. QB because and that's and this is Sean Payton just because he's Sean Payton. I mean you think okay. You're you're. You're goat has a thumb injury. That you know is serious. Enough can't grip the ball so you just GonNa take the backup. Put Him out there and you're third string. Let's make them a slot receiver. I mean who does that sort of stuff. Somebody who's got the right amount of crazy like Sean Payton Yeah. I'm telling you I WANNA see more. It's GonNa be we're about to to the point where I'm thinking of picking them up and fantasy. I know I know I really don't you think is the point pointed to get a difference maker not a guy who's average. Don't you think he's going to see a ton more snaps. I do out there in the time uncork. It is in Seattle first week. Nobody nobody snap. We'll see enough snap to work as a fantasy player. Though I don't know those other guys you mentioned are even and you can pick any of them up off the waiver wire. You want the only one taste. It's from doing it. No one stopping them from doing it. He invested a third round pick and Teddy Bridgewater then he signed him for seven and a half million dollars. He's invested a lot of practice time. I don't think Teddy Bridgewater Bridgewater's looked comfortable. He needs to pull the trigger a little faster when he's buying center but Sean Payton the offensive genius there is nothing more just like bill belichick loved going eleven and five with Matt Cassel more than practically anything he's probably ever done Sean. Payton wants to show that he can run this offense and that they can light people up whether it's with teddy whether it's taste. It'll probably be some combination of the two but right now. He believes Teddy Bridgewater is his best option at this point because you're running out of time with breeze no matter what I mean they we are in full blown hunt for the franchise quarterback of the future. I'm not look at both these guys and find out what you have yeah you gotTa Steve Young. That's what they keep calling. WanNa think tastes them hills what he's thinking. I guess the hall of Famer if he's that good he should be playing when I yeah when I'm taking this you have to the you can't be looking at Teddy. Bridgewater is is the plug in answer without challenging this season with some hill and then challenging with every other option you can if breeze goes down well. You guys all have your laptops out. I don't know if you have the ability to call it up like this this but how many how many snaps does take him. He'll get with breeze. It feels like it's five six game if breeze with the goat where they split number nine out wide right and sometimes I'll do it in the red zone and you up with that so you don't kill double that with Teddy Bridgewater now yeah and just and come as close closest to a two quarterback offense. I could see play twenty. One snaps last week tastes them head. I could see him as a tight end or slot receiver when he's your backup quarterback well that's why they signed J. T. Barrett I mean I honestly like it might make sense that to do that that when you're already on your backup we saw last night with the jets. I mean they almost went to didn't did you. Were you the one who tweeted out like. I was curious. They're back and I was like it was slipping. Ah You know these assault is confirmed. It was rounding tests to Lucas or Brooke Brooke Pennine Penan. I mean let's let's give start where you go prepare pair for the opponent where Santa prepare shot here before eighteen lifts you I think you're gonNA use plane with a bunch of backups in an-and against backups well that's fair but I mean mean but not three or four in the offensive line and figuring more of a handsome at thirty six snap slasher at how many this year already twenty something twenty one we're already. I seen a massive uptick all right which is in other news Ben Rothlisberger yes out for the year. That elbow injury that he suffered was serious enough that it's going to require require surgery. He was Big Ben Statement. This is shocking and heartbreaking for me to miss this much of a season and feel like I'm letting down so many people I can only trust God's plan but I am completely really determined to battle through the challenge and come back stronger than ever next year a crushing blow mark for the steelers who are into and this is a season that super bowl expectations and now you turn it over to Mason Rudolph and I saw your twitter. Mark and I thought the same thing watching this game that it looks like he can play a little bit rude. I'll be interesting to see give him a full week and see if he can swing a little bit because he seemed under control and he made some nice throws but please I mean this is a big draw from the last season's passing leader it is. I don't know if last year even last year Big Ben was the Big Ben that we've grown accustomed into in general it is interesting because Chris Mortensen reached right out to jake delone when he found out about this injury and it was still that went and had very similar Tommy John Surgery Surgery and came back the next year went twelve and four and had one of his better years so it's not the end a big. Ben and the other problem is big. Ben's contract makes it utterly impossible to part with him next year from a cap and money standpoint so I I think he's still in the in the in the docket for next season but Mason Rudolph to me these things happen fast and if Rudolph were have one of those seasons where he captures the imagination of the steelers fan base and saves what looks like there are very good team still and their defense if they can get a little bit more on track they to right. We'll get to that in a second Mason Rudolph one of those interesting backup quarterback positions where you got the kind of like a any given Sunday scenario where you've got. What's his name the aging guy on down the name is Dennis Quaid and you got you got the new guy coming in and I kind of liked Mason Rudolph. I think he's got they've tried to find backups to big bend for a while and they've all been brownies. This guy's a little different and the coaching staff like some a lot was it was it a guy named might you Brownie Brownie Ted. Eh Brownie Byron Leopards we had charlie as or some talking about the left which wasn't a big. Ben's successful drafting guys yard. We are six and it's exciting. You know we'll see how it goes a couple of things one shameless self promotion the grind on epochs tomorrow night glare show. There's two there's two features one is Charles Woodson with the Patriots and dolphins and Charles caught up with Brady and did ask him about the the Tuck rule cells childhoods number one number one number two the it was also Beddis was in Pittsburgh on you know in the stadium. Tatum ben went through all this and he did meet up with Juju Smith Schuster and it streamed the meat when he was asking about his new role. It seems it's going to he's he's not fully adjusted as being quote unquote thumb and the number one guy it takes a lot especially when everybody else is dropping the football left and right daunting moncrieff grief is just literally like Edward Stones and so I'm curious to see if Mason Rudolph will have the ability to move the offense. He definitely definitely did a better job than Ben did in the first six quarters in just his two quarters in their Juju. Smith Schuster had a sign of life you notice the get open well. Ben Ben what's offense offense sorta like what Aaron Rodgers used to have the isolation routes where the receivers have to win one on one and he's playing from empty spread formations they bring in Mason Rudolph in the run sort of more normal offense where the receivers don't have to win one on one every round so we'll see what happens. Jimmy GS in the niners first up and then number two is we all know Pittsburgh steeler fan very well. I mean I know a bunch. Obviously Damasec is one of them. Do Get unlikable crowd well. That's just my opinion okay understood but do you know of any the ones Pittsburgh's different one. I just want the name of one who has been comforted by the news that Jake degrom came back wealth from his. I know they're one. Let's see takes came back in the worst contracting Jake but is is there a single room Rudolph's Elliott a second year so if he plays well that's a good problem. I was surprised people oh this is this is the end of Ben Rothlisberger. No he just signed a huge contract. No reason why more let me call Jake Jake that same injury don't worry Phil shake came back somewhere he'll be carried by his defense in his running game till the playoffs and then he'll throw four interceptions against because maybe the worst performing you to look at Chris Morrison's since twitter feed from last night during Monday night football still back and look at it. I don't know I thought it was a has an area..

"I'm not just saying whether they've got five star guys. I mean, there's certainly been some of those, but it's the, it's the, the, the work ethic, and the kids would just the hunger and the passion to play mean one big benefactor of Miami struggles. When Randy Shannon gets fire one of his, probably his biggest commitments with teddy Bridgewater, Bridgewater, went to go the Louisville, because, you know, Charlie strong headed connection down there and Clint hurt who played at Miami. And upbringing a bunch of kids from south Florida, who probably would have been Miami, guys to Louisville and Louisville one, you know, really got it going there, even you know, after throws strong moved onto Texas, Bobby between at had, you know, a lot of south Florida talent kids recruited and so, you know, teddy Bridgewater at Miami. He's a much better for back. Miami's had in the last you know, fifteen years and it's just those are the kind of misses that catch up to you. And so, you know, I mean, I think it impacts a lot of guys. It doesn't mean that, you know, Clemson took a great receiver out of there, who's from Miami is probably going to be a real impact guy as a true freshman Clemson still. We're going to going to get a lot of players. You're not gonna be able to keep everybody out of south Florida. They didn't do that. You know, back twenty five thirty years ago there were still Michigan was going in there to get a player. You're there, there were still some of that. But I think the key is to get a lot of the right ones and getting, you know comes back to fit. And so, I think it went impact a lot of schools if they if they were a big deal again, but it's been a while. And, and I think that's why you know, I think Manny Diaz knows it's gonna take time. It's like last couple of years ago when they flash into the top top top two, I think it was kind of an aberration. It was it was wouldn't say that in some good players. But I think it was a little bit of a smokescreen that was something fall. They need something a lot more substantive and that's gonna take time. And as he said it's going to have to happen on the practice field. And in their evaluation before you go. I'm I'm interested in the rest of the state Bruce and realize you were down there talking about Miami. But where and how does all this impact Florida on one end and especially Willie taggered, Florida state? Well, Willie Taggart has a staff that is loaded with some Florida recruiters. And you would think that they will start to get better talent. Now I mean that things started to get south before he took over. I mean JIMBO Fisher had a class that was ranked number three in the country, you know four or five years ago and they had one great player in it. And the rest were where a lot of duds and a lot of shaky character guys in a kind of blew up in their face jimbo's last year at FSU was was a died, and obviously Willie Taggart has taken over a rebuilding job. I think with Dan Mullen..

"Now, this guy's gonna kill you running a football. You have to pick your poison. It's it's a headache and he got rothlisburger quarterback question. I mean, it's a major headache, but this guy's a special player. There's no question, but he's also had the issues like you're saying, you know, off the field and things like that. I think he's going to show up because it's. It's too much money to pass up for running back. That doesn't. They're not gonna have is much tread on the tire as as the other positions did girly. Get a great, a great contract. Absolutely. He just got it, correct. He just got it. Maybe this young man's going to get it in the future next year. But this year I think he's still going to show up. He's got, he did you know the year before? I think he shows up. I think I disagree with that said, if I was him, I'm not. I'm not sewing up until I have to. So I could get my credit to season. Like you said yourself tread on the wheels right nowadays. You get around twenty nine thirty years old. They're trying to put you in a trashy. He has to get it while you can and tell going out there and taking a chance of getting hurt without a huge. Insurance policy, it's not worth it, but those game checks are huge. I mean, you know what? He would lose. To New Orleans where the saints trade. A third round pick to the jets for teddy Bridgewater bridgewater's NFL future has been murky since his brutal knee injury back in two thousand sixteen, but NFL network now says he could be drew Brees heir-apparent in New Orleans. My position, I don't. This guy hasn't played since two thousand fifteen, and you just gave up a third round pick for he. He's had a devastating knee injury. He hasn't played. Would anybody give up a third round pick for Colin Kaepernick? He hasn't played either since two thousand sixteen that I, I'd like the play here of taking a flyer on teddy Bridgewater as a potential long-term solution in New Orleans. I just think a third round picks to have to have appeal. I think there's a dearth of quarterbacks in this league teddy Bridgewater came out and training camp. He played exceptionally well. He stayed healthy, went to every practice talking to the jets coaches. He was exceptional, and he was exceptionally healthy during the during the course of training camp. Bottom line is this Nick, foles effect, but you lose. You got a New Orleans team that is one play away from being an NFC championship, and they understand with young quarterbacks behind drew Brees. If we. Lose Drew's drew Brees were done right? If we, if we lose him for four to six weeks, we are done. We don't have a quarterback that can take a team that actually has NFL and Super Bowl aspirations. We have got to go get. So somebody who can fly Earl blonde, squirrel, you've found. I think the other thing is is the third round pick for player. You're using this year like you get the use of him the entire season without it costing you anything. It doesn't cost you third rounder till next year. So you get this insurance, which it is. It's great insurance for a whole year with no cost to you. I mean, none zero, so that's outstanding to have. And I one hundred percent with the full thing. I mean, you know, smart teams do smart things. This is smart move by by New Orleans. Yeah, agree with these guys wholeheartedly, and they ended up making them look, making them look that when breezes done, you know, he may come in there and be that perennial starting quarterback and start being a pro bowler and so on and so forth. So they may look bad by just only getting third, listen, you guys are both Mark. You've made the point. He's looked good in training camp and when he sees it as a coaching staff and as an organization, can someone show. Oh, that kind of value in preseason where the off the defenses are that Manila the play? Is that inconceiva-? I think you go back twenty fifteen years. See the way he played and he played well. And then you take this preseason. Not so much about the way played and he did play. Well, coaches are rave about how he played, but they rave about the work ethic and how healthy he actually is like he's overcome..

"New, York Jets The teddy. Bridgewater signing ended up working out So Bridgewater who barely played. Any football the last two years of, Minnesota after having just a gruesome knee injury which the two. Year anniversary of that injury is coming up I think literally in the next couple of days Bridgwater, was brought in by the jets a one year six million. Dollar deal lots of incentives by the way and The, jets at this point, we're invested a million dollars into Bridgewater And, he looked, good training camp look good he's just the consummate professional great teammate very supportive of Sam darnold and his. Growth and development since coming into camp, and during, games, as well they really have one coach a quarterback Josh mccown Bridgewater even. At the tender young age, twenty five was acting that way too Well what the jets were, able to, do is showcase teddy Bridgewater during the first three preseason games are Bridgewater looked very good he is twenty. Eight of thirty eight three hundred sixteen, yards threw, two, touchdowns one pink had a passer rating close to one hundred and five And what happened is the New Orleans Saints looked at their, quarterback situation behind drew Brees and drew Brees. Is, getting any younger and they saw that Tom savage just isn't very good and tastes him hill guy that they like at. A BYU I mean he's not the. Youngest guy in the world and he's. Twenty eight years old tastes them hill who also place special teams Has four tackles I don't believe he's, ever thrown a pass in the NFL yet He's a guy they like but. Not like enough to throw to the wolves God forbid something happens to, drew Brees so Mike mcalinden the jet general manager could. Have sat back and said I'm going to hold onto teddy Bridgewater into the season and if a. Starting. Quarterback goes down somewhere in the NFL I'm gonna shop Bridgewater to that team. No he said I'm open for business and really it's probably better for teddy Bridgewater Bridgewater was never going. To get an opportunity to be a starting quarterback with the jets So. Today the jet ship teddy Bridgewater any two thousand nine hundred ninety six round. Draft pick to New Orleans for a two thousand nineteen third round pick remember the jets Gave up three second round picks as Walzer. First round pick in this year's draft to move up three spots get Sam darnold now one of the second round picks in the three. Is next. Year's second round pick Maybe the jets if they had thought. They could be. A, little, greedy maybe if they. Had waited slow starter went down somewhere in the NFL maybe, the jets coulda tried to get a late second. Round big instead you know what they have now, way I two. Thirds fourth fifth and seventh makes. Sense, so they kind of come close to recouping a second round pick that they use to move up three spots you get the guy that they wanted. All along, which is Sam Bradford who fell into their laps conveniently because the Browns saw Baker Mayfield is better in the New York Giants felt that a running back is more important than trying to. Get the next you know the heir-apparent delay manning which we could, sit here and discuss all day long because I think that's telling the. Giants, or whatever time will tell if Donald zabuski saquon Barkley could be great then. Whatever Conversations over. But if sacred Barkley turns out to be great, and Sam darnold. Turns out to be a top. Five, quarterback in the NFL it will always be a dumb dumb draft pick for the New York Giants even if saquon Barkley gives you seven straight years. Of rushing, for a thousand yards it's not gonna matter you could have had manning going to the next quarterback that's gonna lead you to Super Bowls and be a great quarterback in a hall of, Famer whatever For the jets the question now is there's the Khalil Mack rumors there, right Could the jets signing of. Teddy Bridgewater and the subsequent trade to the New Orleans Saints Tonette that third round pick Will we look, back, one day and say wow that third round pick based on the Sunday of a guy who had a. Bum knee for two years Along, with, other draft picks enabled the New York Jets to get Khalil Mack from the Oakland Raiders think about that Because without the second round pick next year would, the jets give up their own third round pick. And not have, a pig because if they trade for Khalil Mack you gotta give up the two thousand in nineteen first round. Pick you'll probably have to, give. Up a, second or third round pick as well and possibly a. Pick twenty twenty he's that good clue max, great I mean he's he's phenomenal over the last three or so years the NFL second in sacks. Behind Chandler Jones So if the jets were to give. Up their first and a third next year That would leave them without a draft pick until the, fourth round but now because they dealt teddy Bridgewater, the saints got that third round pick the jets could deal. The first and third. And they would at least, have their first. Pick next year be a third round pick not a fourth round pick big difference So that's kind of the interesting point about this. Whole move for teddy Bridgewater the, New Orleans Saints giving up the pick now for the saints by the way it's a great move me drew Brees is what forty. Years old thirty nine forty years old he's in that range right so you. Just have, to tell yourself at. This point drew Brees at thirty nine, he'll be forty midway. Through January and by the way he's still. Playing at a ridiculously high level is going gonna, come close to seventy five thousand yards this year he's going to go over five hundred, touchdown passes in his. Career this year I mean the numbers are staggering what he's obviously, compost in his career but behind drew Brees they never had anybody out of the names I've mentioned with Tom savage in case some hill not somebody that. You could feel comfortable handing the reins over to not just this year, but in the future so in the next couple, of years with the New Orleans Saints you probably aren't going. To be bad enough. With drew Brees tat themselves, a top five Pick to. Get themselves a quarterback of the future did they now solidify their, future by bringing in teddy Bridgewater who's gonna cost him five million or so this year And then maybe drew Brees has a drop off because at some point you know. Father time's gonna win out and people don't usually gracefully age in the NFL as we've talked about, many times over the. Years guys kind, of fall off a cliff. So if drew Brees falls off the cliff this year and you. Realize. That you sit for him they resigned teddy Bridgewater next, off season give, him a big contract he becomes the quarterback of the presence in the future New Orleans, okay if not though there's kind of a little issue here the question. Is do, the saints invest heavily teddy Bridgewater after having him for one year as a backup knowing that breeze at this point a year to year type. Of guy I mean I don't know how many more years is drew Brees going to have to maybe possibly three So what you say to yourself is do I Bring back Bridgewater next. Off season site. Into a four or five year pretty, decent contract he's only. Going to be twenty six twenty seven, years old And we take care of the quarterback of? The. Future situation go from drew Brees to teddy Bridgewater and Bridgewater twenty seven. Years old guess..

Of Famer whatever For the jets the question now is there's the Khalil macrumors there, right Could the jets signing of teddy. Bridgewater and a subsequent trade to the New Orleans Saints Tonette that third round pick Will we look, back, one day and say well that third round pick based on the Sunday of a guy who had. Above knee for two years Along with, other, draft picks enabled the New York Jets to get Khalil Mack from the Oakland Raiders think about that Because without the second round pick next year would, the jets give up their own third round pick and not have. A pig because if they trade for Khalil Mack you gotta give up the two thousand in nineteen first round. Peg you probably have. To. Give up, a second or third round pick as well and. Possibly a picking twenty twenty he's that good climax. Great I mean he's phenomenal over the last three or so years the NFL he's second in sacks. Behind Chandler Jones So if the jets were to give up their first and a third next year that, would leave them without a draft pick until the fourth round but. Now because they dealt teddy Bridgewater the saints got that third round pick the jets could deal the I n. A third and they. Would. At least, have their first pick next year be a third. Round pick. Not a fourth round pay big difference So that's kind of the interesting point about this whole move for. Teddy Bridgewater for the New Orleans Saints giving up the pick. Now for the saints by the way it's a great move me drew Brees. Is what, forty years old thirty. Nine forty years old he's in that, range right so you. Just have to tell yourself at this point. Drew Brees at thirty nine he'll be forty, midway through January and by the way he's still playing at a ridiculously high level he's, gonna come close to. Seventy five thousand yards this year he's going to go over five, hundred touchdown passes in his career this year I mean the numbers are staggering what he's obviously. Compost in his career but behind drew Brees they never had anybody out of the, names I've mentioned with Tom savage in case hill not somebody that. You could feel comfortable handing the reins over to not just this year, but in the future so in, the next couple of years with the New Orleans Saints you probably aren't going to. Be bad enough with. Drew Brees had themselves a, top five type Picked to get, themselves a quarterback of the future did they now solidify their future by bringing in teddy Bridgewater Who's gonna cost him five million or so this year And then, maybe drew, Brees has a off because at some point you know father time's going to win out and people don't usually gracefully age in the NFL as we've talked about many times. Over the years guys kind of fall off a cliff, so of drew Brees falls off the cliff. This year and you realize that you sit for him. They signed teddy Bridgewater next off season a big contract he becomes. The. Quarterback of, the presence in the future New Orleans okay, if not though, there's kind of a little issue here the question is do the saints invest heavily in teddy, Bridgewater after having him for one year as a backup knowing that breeze. At this, point a year to year type of guy I mean I don't know how many more years is drew Brees going to have to maybe possibly three So what you say to yourself is do I Bring back Bridgewater next. Off season side. Into a four or five year pretty, decent contract he's only. Going to be twenty six twenty seven, years old And we take care of the quarterback? Of. The future situation we go from drew Brees to teddy Bridgewater Bridgewater twenty. Seven years old. Guess what still play eight to ten years for you right It's good for. The saints great..

"I mean, I really hope that this Brown's coaching staff really, really ignores these Browns fans, at least the ones who want Baker Mayfield is a starter. I get it. He's your number one pick you've been dying for quarterback. Every quarterback that your team is selected has been hot garbage. I get it. We just want this to work, but you got a perfectly fine quarterback. Tyrod Taylor who will probably take this team farther than maker Mayfield would this season. Negga said, I think Baker mayfield's going to be a very good quarterback where there's a point where you need to be smart about this tyrod Taylor currently is better than Baker. Mayfield in tyrod. Taylor should be the starter. And as far as the Browns Ricky's in this game, you had Nick, Chubb fifteen carries eleven yards, not great at all. Then you had saquon Barkley on on the other side. We got real hot over one run. Saquon Barkley was as I carry takes the ball for thirty nine yards after that. He had three carries for four yards. Pump, the brakes police. Again, you only had one solid Kerry after that was getting stuffed. I'm not saying saquon Barkley is going to be bad, but give it some time. How about that? Why are we always have the jump to conclusions with these players? I don't understand it at all. So let's see. Move onto the jets. Sam darnold. I might be jumping the gun here by Sam darnold bite me. These starter for the jets, either him or teddy to cliffs meaning teddy Bridgewater Bridgewater played wealth, seven of eight eighty five yards. One touchdown, like I said, pretty much. I mean he looks move look like the teddy Bridgewater again, this is the first preseason games. I'm not sure how much stock you could put into this, but either way teddy good enter Sam darnold. The guy. I mean, look like NFL quarterback. I'm trying not to jump the gun here. Like I said, but I mean, how can you not get excited? Thirteen of eighteen did throw for ninety six yards. Once I stop. I mean, who's throwing is open, Megan throws he needed to make the jets. Might have a problem here, a good problem, but nonetheless a problem. I mean, who are you? Gonna start week what I think they're doing the team that deserves if..

"I'm gonna side with chris in that if mayfield was good enough to beat the first overall pick and you had this talent of whatever why not why shouldn't it be his job especially we upgraded the talent around this isn't you coming in as a as a rookie quarterback with nothing will you're gonna get killed out there they have everything for him already all i'm saying i'm with you why isn't he there at the top and you're gonna make another didn't we see this movie already with cleveland undersize a project he ain't ready from day one more how to learn to play he's saying experience play and you've got to think you're saying hey andy majali but he he should be in the running because again if tyrod taylor why not that's that's a lot of disres not even teddy bridgewater bridgewater's coming up injury but bridgewater show more than tyrod taylor and the buffalo make the playoffs like how many teams make the playoffs in in the nfl why did they vinci if he was so good was that a mistake visiting outside i mean you're making i'm not saying tyrod taylor is michael vick i'm all i'm saying is tyrod taylor he is a great piece to have while you're preparing your future franchise quarterback with all i wait a minute cleveland has won one game over the last two years i mean i guess i totally get that doesn't that doesn't mean or warned them the ability to just say we're just gonna throw our young guy in there just because we have a lot of talent now it means now ready graded the roster they had the first in four six i with all that i'm just saying so you add to the mix how was he gonna learn to be a great good quarterback greg can he have to play you could take all the snaps you one practice greg notice to you get out there that was going gonna make you a be that guy you gotta play the shawn watson start when he first got that was a mistake they admitted now it was a mistake that would you admit it there was a so they had the find out no trout they put the other guy in and he was terrible.

"The dolphins definitely want to get that sneak at the jets playbook gotta get that in there so you wonder how it goes josh mccown went i you got the first first team reps then teddy bridgewater went and then the backups with sam darnold and christian hackenberg started off in team period as a bystander honoring could remove that tweet on the screen there guys i'll call for that in a second sam darnold was competing for a lot of passes to the grass said rich cellini of espn who covers the jets good news he's getting plenty of reps then he adds with the backups bridgewater looked really good according to all accounts he looked spry he looked good josh mccown looked good how about christian hackenberg now let's put up the tweet from richardson meaning christian hackenberg practice day zero reps and team period zero reps in seven on seven drills oh my on behalf of all that is good in the world our begged the new york jets to put this young man out of his misery how how does he not even get a single rap and i know that you know we've had our fun and with the low hanging fruit with with with hackenberg for you how does he not get a single rap in the first day of otas what is he still there for give them shot let them go to canada menzel just did it wouldn't what is happening there is he there just in case what somebody goes down that's why you brought in teddy bridgewater bridgewater one of those two guys isn't gonna they're not gonna take four quarterbacks into the season now you can't and i don't know if bridgewater's just going to sit there you know i guess you have to have him there until darnold proves that he can play i still think sam darnold starts night one monday night football in detroit throw them to the lions literally and figuratively do it.

"Now there are there were a couple of other unrestricted free agents of prominence that we aren't really gonna talk a lot about one was jimmy g who just was extended by the forty nine years now the ones drew brees now drew brees is technically an unrestricted free agent but now really he's not really because he's basically said he's not gonna play anywhere else o'hare is believe verbatim said i will be a saint yeah so we're not going to really discuss hypotheticals for him because there aren't any that make any sense but let us is the year of the quarterback it is when i look at the free agency landscape is a whole i'm really disappointed like i was looking at you know digging deep through the wide receivers you're really i am analysts point i think it's a week draft a week free agent class this year how ever at quarterback it's a it's a it's a truly historic year i mean there's never been a time where a starting caliber franchise caliber quarterback is just on the market and right now not only do you have kirk cousins but you also have the three pack of minnesota vikings that are all every single one of them could be a starting quarterback for you know at least half of the league's out there with teddy bridgewater bridgewater case keen them and sam bradford so i wonder if they wish they could just like melt them down into like one well super quarterback there is the the whispers in the bushes that the the vikings are trying to get teddy bridge waters contracts to toll because of the missed the entire missed year which would essentially then take the last year of his deal and move it.
