He tells Bloomberg his company is exploring ways to use the technology to augment customer service and provide better matching between hosts and guests. AI can be like the ultimate matchmaker. Imagine your app being almost like the ultimate AI will save money both for companies providing travel services and their customers. I think it's going to reduce the cost of our service. Jeff Berk: Ilhan Omar Should Never Have Been on Foreign Affairs Panel
"Be a good thing to have Ilhan Omar off the farm relations affairs committee. It would be a good thing to have a remove from the committee and we could talk about that you shouldn't have been there in the first place. And why is that, Jeff? She hates the condition of Israel. She has been articulating her hatred of Israel, everything it stands for. Before she took office. I think the real shame is that the members of the congressional progressive caucus, 15% of them are Jewish themselves, continue to keep elevating her and Rashida to lead to these high profile leadership positions, despite the fact that they're so anti Israel, it's a crazy phenomenon. So what sort of work are you guys doing on Capitol Hill to root out these people and to expose them? What we're doing and you're speaking to someone who is a conservative view, I almost ran for the Ted deutch seat and here in Florida. But what we're doing is getting an actual letter rating, no different than the NRA, holding fact based, a letter rating to each sitting Jewish politician on what they are or are not doing to really fight anti semitism. And I could give you a quick example. 6 months ago, Rashida Tlaib makes a big proclamation. I'm sure you remember. This says, hey, if you don't believe that, is the real as an apartheid state like hydro. Then you guys shouldn't really be a progressive. Nadler out of one side of his mouth goes on Twitter and says, doesn't this crazy? I don't agree with you. But silently, in the shadows, he and Jamie Raskin and Steve Cohen, Lois frankel, still voted for her to retain her vice chair of member services student and CPC. These people are scared of the squad. They don't want to be primary again. They don't want to be called out on social media.

Rep. Ted Deutch Strikes Back at Rep. Rashida Tlaib's Anti-Semitic Comments
"Our country must suppose selling weapons to anyone anywhere without human rights law compliance The Israeli government isn't a part time regime not my words the words of Human Rights Watch and Israel's own Human Rights Watch organization bed sullen I urge my colleagues Please stand with me and so reporting you how much time do I have rich Ted deutsches a sort of moderate rather wimpy Democrat not a Florida And even he had enough of this Cut 13 go But mister speaker I can not I can not allow one of my colleagues to stand on the floor of the House of Representatives and label the Jewish democratic State of Israel in apartheid state I reject it today this caucus this body the House of Representatives will overwhelmingly stand with our ally the State of Israel in replenishing this defensive system If you believe in human rights if you believe in saving lives Israeli lives and Palestinian lives I say to my colleague who just besmirched our ally then you will support this legislation may have 15 more seconds 30 seconds Is recognized for an additional 30 seconds Mister speaker we can have an opportunity to debate lots of issues on the House floor But to falsely characterize the State of Israel is consistent with those Let's be clear It's consistent with those who advocate for the dismantling of the one Jewish state in the world And when there is no place on the map for one Jewish state that's anti semitism And I reject that

"Late. But i warned you i told you i'm working You know and i know what you were doing was very important right and what. What an amazing man. Manuel oliver is. I don't know that i'd be standing if my daughter was in that school and killed. I don't know that i could have survived that. And he's got not only survived but he's using his talents in such an important productive and meaningful way that video. I know. I put it out this morning and you were one of the first to re tweet it so i know you saw it at. How powerful was that. Oh my god really like incredible. I mean who would. Who would it seem that coming right right so and again. This is my neighborhood. And so i've known him. I feel like. I know him but we had never really had a conversation. I met him once. I shook his hand once but we didn't really get to talk. So this is the first time i i spoke to him and and the the emotions aurora and i gotta tell you what he said is You know the community park land. By the way there's park land in coral springs parkland is the more you know the more the wealthier the bigger more expensive homes or in parkland and apparently the community. The park land community wants to move on. Because it's not good for property values. Well fuck that shit. I'm sorry this happened there. Do you believe that. Then that's such a parkland thing. So i'm glad that he also has that attitude kind of you know a fuck that shit kind of attitude I don't give a damn about the property. Values and also businesses still have the big ms de strong banners hanging in their windows and stuff. So they want to take part in the community minded. Let's all come together thing but a but again. There's that icky business money side of it that needs to just stop. You know what i'm saying. He was talking about the banners that local businesses can buy banners that hang on the around the schools and sure enough there there on marjory stoneman. Douglas and that to me is kind of i. Dunno sacrilegious ugly but so interesting day. Today how klein. So i wake up and i you know first thing i see. Is this building collapse on miami beach which is terrifying. You heard you saw this right. Yes and who knows what what brought that down. But that's frightening. And then i watched this video and it brings up whole floodgate of emotions. But then there's other stuff going on too. So i gotta ask you at the hearings that ended today but started yesterday antitrust markup monkey about anti the antitrust big Investigation right so amazing and all and so so they did this Like i said this this has been going on for sixteen sixteen months. They really worked hard on it. It's the most Bipartisan thing. I've ever seen i mean and the funny or of important bills the the the thing. That's amazing is that it was bipartisan. In terms of who is Supporting it but also bipartisan. Who's opposing it right because you have you know the sort of mainstream ish Very corrupt republicans. Like who around mccarthy you just about money right there against it. They don't want any anyone interfering but on the other hand. The republican party the grass roots is so angry with Big tech because of You know throwing trump on twitter facebook and everything else right so because of that. That anger is. This is a very very popular thing. So a lot of republicans before it and and that includes the lunatics so the lunatic fringe likes it. But also a lot of just like you know Mainstream republicans who who actually see what's wrong with With these anti trust issues because if you wanna talk about having competition in any real sense which the republican party supposedly stand for you want business competition. You can't have you know. Companies like google and facebook dominating across platforms and buying out there there And this not just buying out but also ing their their rivals so anyway this sixteen month. Investigation and questioning people away at the top. Even like you guys like those Led to a report and then Six individual bills and all six of them pass today. Only now i gotta ask. You did my congressman. Do the right thing. What will congress will. I think it'll pass the house whether mcconnell will no doubt sensor it there they're definitely i mean Filibuster it's right there are definitely People in Republicans in the senate who like it right. It's going to be interesting to see which democrats go against it. I mean a club which was not. I'm not a big fan of. She's a big fan of this bill and she's running around really hard and pushing it. It'll it'll be it'll it'll be interesting to see what happens. Wants to get to the senate because there are definitely democrats you know all the progressives afford of course obviously but You know some of the more conservative democrats especially some of the democrats who take a massive amounts of money from a big tech. They're going to be interesting. Big tech is pulling all stops to get this thing Killed their lobbyists. This is all this is all lobbyists want to talk about. You want to be our friends. You want us to continue donating to you. You know this has to be stopped. I mean to them. This is like the end of the world even though it's not in the long run that'll help them. But you know they don't wanna hear that right. But how the other so this. This was in the house judiciary committee. That's where they did the markups. And that's what it passed. Out of water in the in the antitrust subcommittee right that went to to which david cecil is a champion of and pramilla giant policy. Vice-chairman nice And they and they. So that's where the sixteen months comes in. They have been working on it and then nadler liked it so he brought it into the full committee for vote today and yesterday some of the bills passed yesterday from the past today and it goes to congress to the floor of congress with a recommendation that congress pass it right now but i was asking was the other day. You sent me a message and said can you. Can you talk to your congressman ted deutch. Because he's not on board with this. So i tweeted at him. He's still at the end. He didn't vote for it or do you know i'm not one hundred percent sure. He voted on yesterday. He voted yes. But those are the easy bills that everybody's four so that wasn't the problem. The problem was that the The two bills one by cecil cellini one by dr paul and those those two bills can be used to break up Big tech monopolies if if they if they keep breaking the rules and they and they do and they do Yeah keep undermining competition. Those two bills are the ones that can be used To break them up and those are the ones of course that the lobbyists are going nuts over. It's really then. Yeah that much about the other ones but those those two and they those two passed but there were there was a flu were. There was a flurry of amendments. At the last minute that would kill them And i am not one hundred percent sure where to was on that later today but it hasn't been published. You got you all right. We'll be interesting. i mean i did. I tweeted at him. And then. Of course i had to tag it with stop hanging out with the new dams and blue dogs so there are a bad influence on him. Yes yes those are the people who Those are the people who who were putting putting those those amendments today right. I all right so that happened then today. We also get the news that there's a deal and there's a deal on infrastructure okay but it's part of the it's gotta be the way that employs between the parties who is a deal between who between five democrats five republicans in the white house. No no yes but five conservative democrats and conservative republican and a conservative white house. That's who the deal. So the how come. They was. Not one progressive included outcome..

"Once again, I'm manning Windows, Jimmy, taking the week off. Hope to have him back with us on Monday morning. Beautiful, beautiful Start to our day out there Time now to check in with NBC news political director Chuck Todd. He is, of course, moderator of Meet the Press host of MSNBC's mtp daily at one o'clock, and you could follow me on Twitter at Chuck Todd. Good morning, Chuck. Good morning man took about eight days before the idea of bipartisanship appeared to be thrown out the window Democrats the leadership anyway, now, making it clear yesterday they're ready to pass a new covert relief bill with or without Republican support. Yeah, mark the time of death, right? It's pretty. It's pretty over the bipartisanship. I mean, and you know, you sit there and there's gonna be some finger pointing, you know who lost the bipartisanship? No. Goodbye. Not try hard enough Democrats not trying hard enough. And then on the same day that bipartisanship is dead. Kevin McCarthy hanging out with Donald Trump. So the point What this really points to Manny is the amount of distrust there is between the two parties right now. It's had an enormously high level. You know there is in particularly since the interaction and I think there is zero patients among congressional Democrats. I think Joe Biden has slightly more patients, but I think that's that's why the Democrats are behaving the way are and then you have Republicans. You have a handful who I think believe there should be a much greater effort of bipartisanship. But then you look at a majority and they're not interested in working on the other side, eager, right? So it is. It is a pretty toxic moment that we're in and I think we now are getting a preview. That it is going to be Democrats going in alone. Because they think they've determined there are a dozen Republicans to work. Yeah, and it's not definitive that they're going to get all Democrats to come along on this covert relief bill either. So I'm not sure what their plans. You know the sad thing about this whole thing, and we talked Mansion Joe Mansion in a very powerful spot. It really does. It really does. We've talked about this so many times over the years, Chuck most of the polls show that about Don't know 70% 3 quarters of Americans want bipartisanship. They want things to get done. But every time we see this this gridlock You know, it also became clear this week that there will not be anywhere near 67 votes to convict former President Trump and his impeachment trial, now scheduled to begin in 10 days. It also doesn't appear like censure will even be given a chance is an alternative does it Now, Look, here's the problem, though, right? You cite those poll 70% wanted bipartisanship. There's a 60% that are, you know, Want to condemn Donald Trump, Right? And you look at those all those a majority numbers. But when you look inside it, 80% of Republicans don't want bipartisanship and about 80% 85% of Republicans. Don't think Donald Trump did anything wrong, So it is. It is, it is lopsided. Underneath the surface of all of these numbers, right it is. You basically have all democrats and like 60% of independents in one place, right? And basically you have 80% of Republicans holding up the other so You're right. That 7% of country wants bipartisanship. But there ain't many Republicans in that 70%. Yeah, they want bipartisanship from the other side, not from their side on Ben. One of the big stories here today is Congresswoman, the freshman Marjorie Taylor Green and her history and some of the things there's calls, obviously from not only from a Nancy Pelosi but from Ted Deutch, here and on others asking that she not only be removed from our committee assignments but be thrown out of Congress..
