Tim Tebow Retires From Baseball

"Tebow retired from baseball, thus ending the athletic career of one of the greatest mysteries in sports history. Tim Tebow was a historically great college football player. Stunk is an NFL quarterback, and he's stuck is a professional baseball player. And for some reason, usually smart, rational sports. People couldn't reconcile that. It's weird because this happens all the time. There's thousands of great college football cubes that just don't make it to the NFL. But people, not religious ones, to refuse to believe that about Tebow and the assumption when he wanted to play baseball that he'd just be in the majors in two seasons. People just refuse to believe he wasn't very good, even when he had 200 You just couldn't separate it, And it was bizarre. Look, he's a great person, and that should have always just been enough thistles. Damon event DeLara.

"Yes. Yes they folks talking. John's mirror john. What's on your mind eric. I think you blame yourself a little too much. I think part of what happened to you. On the reason that yale is able at least for a while have this enervating brainwashing effect on you say you grow up in a nice place in connecticut with pleasant schools. You know really rather nice people and so you kind of learn to think that the environment we were in was a friendly place in probably trustworthy. I stayed in queens is Tweens where you know. It was a darwinian struggle for survival. You know having grown up in new york before giuliani. You can't startled me. I expect people agenda. Jump out from behind pillars. You can drunk. You're like jump from money. Pillar john kind of expected that when i when i showed up at college and unfunny conversation with my girlfriend about this she said it must have been tempting at yale and you saw all these people thought one way you know to to change your views to make life easier and i said i can't take credit for any courage. Say much as i'd like to that idea of conforming. Never even flickered through my mind. I was waiting for all these dumb people to conform to me. So i'm not sure that's the grace of god or just. Ish irish stubbornness. I got from my mom. Look in my own defense. I i didn't know what i believe. That's what i find so fascinating. And this is the failure of the greek orthodox church for example. It's pathetic. I mean they don't teach you anything about the meaning of life. Is the bible. True whatever you know this. Mainly the case in these ethnic communities whether catholic or orthodox and so they send you like a sheep to the slaughter. So i went to yale. I i really believe in the resurrection from the dead of the second person of the trinity. Did i believe in the trinity that i believe in the bible. What did i believe from faith point of view and then had the schools prepared me The public schools prepared me for what lay ahead in weight at a place like yell. Of course not. Even though i went to a decent public school in danbury connecticut. You know it's not like they warned me. Oh by the way you need to really understand. What american freedom is because you know When you get out there in the real world you're going to see these forces trying to attack. So i really did go without any warning. And it's only god's grace that pulled me out. What we need to do is not put our kids in environments like that anymore for the longest time. Homeschooling was seen as sort of an eccentric choice or something only really committed hardcore people did. It has to become the mainstream choice for christians in america for conservatives in america. I'm sorry take the financial hit. Somebody's gotta stay home and homeschool kids. Don't bother having them. It's just a choice on. I tell you something as i've traveled around the country doing a lot of speaking. I have met these homeschool kids and their parents. These kids are genuinely the hope for the future. They are amazing Amazingly bright amazingly well educated freedom loving god loving souls. It's dependent minded. I've taught at a college. And i had some home school kids and a bunch of other kids who went even the catholic schools. The homeschool kids were three or four grade levels ahead of the others that were independent minded. They were confident they were smart. They were sharp. They're they're the kind of people who are going to lead if our worldview has any chance in the world. If if if christianity orthodox christianity small orthodox christianity is going to remain a viable option. In america it's not going to become as obscure obscure denomination. That is reluctantly tolerated by the government. Because it's so small. It's it's insignificant like polygamous mormons or something it's gonna be through home schoolers whose parents take him to the gun range and teach them trades because we're going to have to an alternative culture dot in this hostile foreign occupied country. We're out of time. John's always a real privilege to have you on this program. Thank you my friends to be continued thanks..

"South africa john at zoom z. m. r. k. Until he changes his name. It's john iraq John what else can we do about it in the article. Add stream dot org. Well we can keep our own institutions strong and not let the gas lining effect us in other words our church leaders when they start collaborating with the biden regime. When they start soft-peddling the hundreds of ways in which biden and his ideology are in conflict with christianity and our worldview and instead they play up well you know he's against poverty that's good. Let's just work with them on. Poverty said forget about the baby killing in and the churches closing the talent. -tarian control the media. But you know we do so kitson's and then also let's denounce anyone to the right of us who is loud about the election and the election fraud. We can throw them under the bus. And that way maybe we'll get sent to the concentration camps later. Maybe we can even help. Run the concentration camp as capos. We'll be the religious leaders in the camps and we'll get more cheese and maybe some war dark bread. Look you a all. This is so sick. Whoever thought ladies and gentlemen we would get to this point but john. I'm in your article to you. Talk about supporting people who have stood strong. I think this is what i was talking about earlier. Is that first of all if you don't think you're in the battle ladies and gentlemen you're in the battle you have a voice. There's a lot you can do. God will forgive you for having stood aside while others. Like john or me or mike lindell whoever it is have been fighting but i just want to tell you. We need you in the battle in other words when we have to. What when you hear about somebody. Like mike lindell john. You write about this. Tell my audience what you say about that. Stopped supporting institutions. That don't support us. Meaning magazines like national review which demonize trump supporters and wave off the election fraud. As if it were joke. Stop supporting writers who through the president under the bus based on nothing except their own desire to maybe appear an npr and flog their latest spiritual autobiography support companies. Like my pillow. A lot of people gave up on fox news after stabbing in the back and started watching newsmax and real america's voice and what america news stick with that only support people who support us. Anyone you see is trying to sign up with the new vichy. Regime wants to become the respectable face of republicanism. So they're attacking ted cruz or josh hawley or eric. Taxes or franklin graham or other people who have stood strong in the wake of this debacle. Khuda tie in the middle of the night. Don't support those people. Don't worry about what they have to say. Stop green them. stop listening to them spam filter. Their emails blocked them on twitter. Assuming you haven't been banned from twitter. Stop associating with compromise sellouts and hacks even if you agree with something they say don't share it. Don't help these people they want nothing to do with you. They have thrown you under the bus. You could hear all four wheels going over you. Do not cooperate with the collaborators. Stick with the people who stayed strong. We have to build a real resistance here to evil ruthless regime. Well you know a sellouts. In our midst. Eighty million americans voted for donald trump. Okay now we know that they are not all violent ashley's the demonization of trump supporters is the craziest thing imaginable. In other words. These are the people who elected the president of the united states. These are the people who obstensibly elected him a second time in a landslide. But the point is that so many of them and the genius of the left and of totalitarians. Is that what they pretend that none are no. Those are just a handful of extremists. Will those handfuls of extremists Have to make their voices known. If you don't folks. I'm telling you if you shop at a place like kohl's after they have banned mike lindell for daring as a free american to say what he thinks or beyond or if you shop at bed bath and beyond if you shop at h. e. b. if you shop what if you shop at these designs wanna tell you you're participating in helping organizations that have used their considerable power against you and against freedom now these are the little things we can do but if we are not willing do those things we will lose and we certainly deserved to lose so i. I put that out there at number one but john. What else can we do. People keep asking may stop sending your kids to public schools. I mean sorry just. I don't think there probably any parts of the country where public schools are not now engaged in propagandizing your kids highland park school district fancy school districts in texas in terms of quality. It's like an elite prep school people by weight grossly overpriced houses in the neighborhoods that they can send their kids to the school but it just put in transgender bathrooms and it's going to be teaching that stuff in the schools if you care enough to have children if you've got to bother having children now that's an open question but if you're going to bother having children worry about their immortal souls worry about whether they turn out as real traditional americans or they just going to be adult zombies obeying the orders of the termite colony. I mean look at kellyanne conway conway bills us. Wonderful career sends their kid to this. Elite leftist hellhole and she comes out practically a maniac and hating her parents values and her parents and everything they stand for. That's what the left counts on because they have a lower birth rate. They don't have as many kids. they don't welcome life. They don't embrace life they they preferred to have shitsu or an gort a persian cat so they count on parasitic lee taking and reprogramming them to be actually their kit. So look it almost worked on me In in my book. I probably have mentioned it. I have a book coming out. Called fish out of water. And i write about my experience the yale and how i really was affected by that in other words i grew up in a home where we were very very patriotic. We love freedom and my father and mother taught me to hate communism most but yale. Because i hadn't. I didn't have the the i q of say john's mira. I just kind of drifted with zeitgeist until my soul was endanger. God dramatically saved me from that. But i just want to say i experienced this part of why i wrote the book. John is because i feel bad. I want people understand where i was before. God in his mercy rescued me..

"Campus only now now they have the fbi and the nsa and twitter and facebook and the chinese government on their side back then they were just kids zits like us. They had more money and lower iq's they were probably legacies inherited their their charite yale because their parents gave money so the same people with one ten iq's in huge ideas of their own importance in the abilities and moral rectitude are still making our lives miserable. We rarely never did escape. That place did we are. They billing us for tuition are we can help you. Just mentioned john kerry as i just flashed before my eyes with the tarts. One moving worse. You know what's even worse than the assault on democracy does one thing that's worse The fact that one side can apparently steal an election and then forbid anyone to investigate it and now forbid anyone to talk about it you will get a your youtube pulled down. You will get kicked off. Fake facebook or twitter new york parlor dale's shot parlor down so soviet the way that work in the earlier in our one today. I talked about this. Youtube has shut us down for week. Gigantic loss of revenue loss of being able to speak to our audience because they determined that. Evidently we're putting out on. Youtube is evil. And and you know all of the kiddie porn. Hey my bad it won't happen again but we put out generally wonderful stuff on youtube. They shut us down. They knocked me off twitter. And you're right they are. I mean if ever you needed a clue as to who believes in american values will here. We are but it's worse. It's worse than that because you can have a decent society without democratic elections. I like to. I think the austro-hungarian monarchy was great britain in the seventeenth century wasn't a eighteenth century wasn't a terrible place. They weren't democracies. What you do need is rule of law. You need the same set of laws to apply equally to everyone in the population. We don't have that anymore. Currently the fbi in the media are trying to criminalize support for donald. Trump's challenge of the election being a criminal however means different things in america and joe biden. Just set free. Tens mocked more than ten thousand felons. Who are illegal aliens. Who were supposed to be deported. He just turn them loose on our streets. You know what they're not going to be in the neighborhoods. Where twitter is the executives. And yale trustees live. They're going to be hitting the streets and hitting the neighborhoods where a lot of donald trump's voters live. So that's one thing but if you're in the hive. The hive is the term. I coin for the media leads and the political left working together. Seamlessly like termites following one central plan. Never thinking for themselves. If you're in the hive there are one set of laws. If you're out for instance off kyle rittenhouse trying to defend. People's businesses mark and patricia mcklusky trying to defend their own home. Jay gardner trying to defend his business. Carter page george popadopoulos. Mike flynn just supported. Donald trump ashley babbitt maybe committed trespassing going into the us capitol. They all felt the sting of persecution. Who didn't hillary clinton senator dianne feinstein. Who who broke the law and probably perjured herself regarding brick cavenaugh representative. Eric swallow. Who spied who gave secrets to china whether intended or not christine lazy ford. Who perjured herself. Julie sweat nick who perjured yourself. Peter stroke violated all sorts of laws abused his power at the fbi. James comey hundred biden. None of them will see the inside of a courthouse much less a jail cell. but kyle rittenhouse. Who used illegal gun to help. Somebody defend his business against a mob of arsonists led by child molester. He's where raise millions of dollars. I gave five hundred dollars. I don't have to try to keep him for going to prison for murder for defending himself against three people who are trying to kill him. Two tiered system of justice just like jim crow south just like apartheid south africa. Well you know this has been talked about for the longest time the double standard the two tiered system of justice. But right now we're just seeing it and this is what's so extraordinary. I noticed that my bond offer book is selling on amazon. Like suddenly you just you can notice the number and i thought it's because i think a lot of people have heard me talk about how this happened before right and i think people always go immediately to the death camps. Forget the death camps. And you you don't. You don't need to go that far to understand how horrifying it would be to live in a culture where you are not free. Where if you say the wrong thing. I mean actually. I'll plug my fish out of water book as much as possible. I talk about my grandfather. That's my my mother's dad. Germany listening to the bbc with his dear literally pressed against the radio speaker. Because if you were caught and listening to the bbc you go to concentration camp in other words. Imagine that happened in germany. We're not talking about you. Know kinda rouge or talking about a civilized culture. That kind of took it off the ball just long enough that evil swept in we. Are there now now where it's not irrevocable but it's inexorable unless we push back really hard absolutely. Eric is passed my mind to change my name in case in case the irs. Cracks down on the nonprofit where i work ministry actually in case it becomes impossible for me to make a living. I'm thinking well. How could i still use my education. Well maybe i'll legally changed my name and still claim the same degree. They probably won't look it up and check and if they do look it up and say well you. We don't have anyone of that name. I'll say well no. I change my name. Because i now identify as a different gender and i just won't say anything else. I won't explain it. I don't have to do anything about it. I changed my gender. Soy changed names. But i still do have a phd. Still have lbj mean. I'm actually thinking this stuff. Through in america thinking you know what if it becomes impossible for someone like me to make a living. I've got a bad back. Can't just beg groceries. I would want to teach. But i mean it's it's crazy that we have to think this way but we are facing and intolerant new false religion. Which is i've argued up. Several times at the stream stream dot org is the religion of anti christ. It is sorry. I'm sorry to agree but yes there's no doubt about it just before you say that i just i want to say that i do believe that we are being allowed to taste this evil because we've had two good. I don't believe that there's no way out but god is forcing people to see the fruit of doing nothing. So go ahead. Yeah anti christ is not someone who walks around waving a banner. I am evil worship satan. The any grades is supposed to be able to fool even the elect if the time were permitted. I'm not saying. Joe biden is the anti christ. No i think. The religious leaders and the so-called conservative leaders who are telling us we should cooperate with abortion fanatics with enemies of marriage with people who wanna force luke little nuns to give out abortion pills or else they have to stop caring for the elderly sick and dying whom they care for people who want to propagandize get healthy. Bodily organs cut off because of brief adolescent anxiety. People who who want to make a suffocating to taliban -tarian environment of media education where everyone must think alike or be cast out into the outer darkness and in addition who want to do it by stealing elections all those things combined to be something profoundly evil that is a caricature of christianity. It's still. I mean the left. Most of them are are winnie nihilists. They believe that we're all just the fruit of ruthless competition. You would think though it would make the randy ends are ultra-capitalist but no they they believe in this nihilists basic basis of society and of life. And then they put a christian veneer on it. It's like they want martin luther king on the surface and charles darwin at the base. Of course that is the definition of something with feet of clay but but bad ideas can can go a long way. Nazi was internally inconsistent. Communism is a logical absurdity. But if you have a propaganda machine and if you can tap into people's emotions you can win with terrible self-contradictory ideas that's why we have to argue in ways that move people's hearts or at least make them laugh. I want people to hold the left in contempt. The ah there's not enough contempt on earth for the woke culture. It's tempting to reach down and borrow some from hell but resist that temptation there. We're going to we're to continue this conversation. I get to talk to john. Zamira ac for the our folks please go to mypillow dot com or my store dot com. Use the code. Eric go.

I remember we vote in other stories in the book in detail but we voted at yale. as a class and a friend of mine sam Had been manning the ballot box and the next day. He told me that. A your buddy. Chris haines voted the wrong way. And i remember. Because i was raised by a mom and dad and again i write about this in the book in detail but they they knew the evil of communism. I remember my mother explaining to me. About how yeah they. Don't they have votes in communist countries. But you everybody to the same person. I thought that doesn't make any sense. Whatever so i remember this chilling moment when my dear friend sam said this to me i thought what what did you say like. You know how chris voted. How do you know that you're not supposed to know that you're supposed to be on the ballot bucks. But you that. And you're telling me voted the wrong way and i'll never forget. I mean imagine. This is either eighty three or eighty four. I just remember suddenly like hitting a brick wall of. "Show. yes it's a show. This is not real issues to show that we put on I often talk to my next guest. Has name is john's miraculous d. m. i. r. a. k. john's mirek. Welcome the program. Thanks erica deduct you. I wanna talk to you about everything first of all. Most of the articles are extreme. Dot org Where are we in the nation. I just had a conversation with tim tibo. We didn't get into that political stuff Maybe you and. I can go there while my new piece is called. Welcome to on america. And the the headline the picture for it is in a flag upside-down and that's traditionally a sign of distress. If a ship is going to sink they will turn the flag upside-down so people know. Please come help us. Kind of the ultimate may and that's because our reverence to the flag do something like that unless you were in profound distress and the site of a kind of shocks people and i think the biden administration i. I don't call him president by not call him. Joe quote president biden like nationally. We call him by his real name. Vice president biden. Terry go or president at an idea. Usurper asia. new usurper vice president biden. John we have to talk about this right it because i certainly have never How do i put this i. I'm i'm arguing that we as americans have never been where we are right now. We have a president who in many ways is not the president in other words. You've got a very very strange situation. Lead the league constitutionally morally because well morally for sure but immoral is easy because we are all dealing with morality every day but when he talked about the constitution. when you talk about the legality. It's an extraordinary thing to think that we have someone who In many ways was clearly inaugurated as the president of. There's a lot of stuff happens. The legal stuff goes into place but we also have the situation where innumerable millions of americans are convinced that something was not on the up and up. I think rand. Paul is calling for an investigation. I'm not sure what can be done if you not get into this if you cannot investigate these kinds of things so i don't really know how one precedes when you don't actually acknowledge him as the president. I mean it's here's the thing. Yeah so we are. We are no longer both democratic and legitimate We have a if you wanna talk about whether the government is legitimate. Saint paul saint. Paul regarded caesar as a legitimate. He was the day facto ruler. And you're supposed to obey his laws except when they were so unjust that was worth according margin to resist. The christian subjects of the ottoman empire. Probably pretty quickly accepted the salton or the caliph as legitimate in the sense that you wanna have a running military revolt against them and you kind of bet your head and accepted your a concord. Subject of foreign regime in that sense. This government is legitimate. In the sense that a keleaf or a caesar was legitimate in that we have to obey it up to the point of where it orders us to do something evil and then we have to resist and resistance is governed by the just war principles the just war principles or what. Tell us not to take to the streets within fifteen not to blow things up just war covers. Revolution two and one of the debates among the american founders was did what the british were doing to the american colonists rise to the level that it was worth starting a civil war and for a while. They said no until they said yes. I one of the key factors in any in determining whether a war is just or a revolutionist us. I think the two factors that matter right now are does. It have a reasonable likelihood of success. And that's clearly. Not no i think and secondly would cause more destruction would likely cause more destruction than it would fix i but both of those things tell us we have to be resolutely nonviolent civil and peaceable in dealing with this imposed foreign regime far in in the sense that chinese money help put it in power foreign in the sense in the more profound sense that we're being ruled by a cast on kind of brahmin caste of people who determine when donald trump won that they would never let him really take office they would keep investigating him and undermining him surveilling him and lying about him using their power in the media which was almost absolute power in big tech so what we face as half the country is being ruled by the other half. And what would it really the closest thing eric. There is a precedent for this in america. It is after the civil war after the slaves were freed while northern troops were still there. Blacks were finally made citizens and given the right to vote and they elected black congress in black senators and are few states black governors because there was a black majority in south carolina and they elected black governor and the white southerners a lot of them most the leaders powerful ones. They reacted exactly the way the left. The democrats and the media reacted in two thousand sixteen. When donald trump was elected. They said no. No we are going to be the resistance. We're being occupied. We are being controlled by people who have no right to vote no right to any voice. They're supposed to their place and we're going to put them down again. And within a few years they managed to overthrow the mixed-race governments of those reconstruction states and impose white rule. Minority rule that disenfranchised and terrorized the black citizens of those states. That's with the left has in mind for you and me today. well unfortunately that's correct. Now i just find it. Funny john that you and i went to yale so we come from a working class backgrounds. You know queens new york and we ended up living out the american dream going. No place like yale university where we were exposed to the people about whom we are now talking. We're exposed to cultural elites in a globalist worldview the politically correct language. I mean the cancel culture. And the silencing was going on when you and i were there in the eighties And we remember it. It's sort of like if you don't behave this way. You'll be demonized that kind of thing. Hey this is a good opportunity for me to plug my book. Fish out of water. I do. I write about this in my book. Fish out of water. I write about my experiences at yale and about the very thing we're talking about. I remember an episode. Where improper you remember this it. But i always wonder how do they what happens if someone does die in this filming nurse and not only that what does it say about us consumer sue. Because i was like. I've watched like naked afraid. And it's like half hour of this were two strangers being eaten alive. Fire ants every night like that was the most of the episode. It's just watching them slowly. Get devoured by insects but those shows we know there is an emergency crew right off the right there. No there's no real danger. I mean we know that it's like stage danger so then to know that i'm wipe out. Somebody died like. I can't watch the new season again just like that yet. Twenty twenty s given us too many things to have like anxiety about legit like existential threats. All around us. I don't need that for tv anymore. Like a something harmless with something like that. Putt show that steph curry debt. Okay yes there are ramps and of water and spinning things. But look i mean mostly. It's elaborate putt. Putt just more comfortable. Just where we are. We don't need to see people subjecting themselves. Injuries like we're taste right now where putt. Putt like flora's lava that i mean that seems pretty. Yeah i would imagine to get seriously hurt and floors lava. You'd really have to be trying something. You'd have to swing from that chandelier onto the spinning couch curtain rod or something because it seems like the safest of all these stunt shows you know but but we i agree with you i. It's gonna be difficult to watch shows when you know people were you know now so me and my kids watch ninja warrior. Kids men first of all those kids are crazy. Like i'm like yo. These are some athletic kids just like kids that have been training for since they were like three years old. And then you know. Their parents built these obstacle courses in the back and then the guy who wins is probably just. Some dude just goes into the park and does a jungle gym. He's like i remember. It was funny. It was as one. And i know everybody's gonna be here. He goes but it was this black kid. And i oughta white kids that were on it. They had all these different light. Mom had made them. This obstacle course is bad. Kids as like man from alabama and for the alabama wildcats and you know and man he was dusty country fast countries wrong and countries fast. Tim Tebow Will Play For Philippines In World Baseball Classic: Miami

"Tim TiVo to play for the Philippines in the world baseball classic TiVo's parents were missionaries there and the thirty two year old I was born there and then moved to Florida with his family at a very young age but because it's a Filipino birth certificate TiVo is eligible to play for the Philippines in the world baseball classic Tim Tebow the baseball players hit a home run this spring he is still trying to keep his fading dream alive to play in the big leagues last year didn't go well at triple A. Syracuse TiVo hit just one sixty three in seventy seven games now he's also trying to balance and juggle two careers not only is he right to make it a professional baseball but he also is an analyst for the SEC network so not all of the TiVo eggs or in the baseball basket and thank god because I don't think it one sixty three triple a he's gonna make it to the big leagues but I'm fine with them

Shannon on Brady says he's not wearing a blazer to the Super Bowl next year

"Tom Already did make it to super bowl. Fifty four but only on the field before kickoff as a member of the NFL one hundred all time team and yesterday Brady posted a picture picture to his instagram story. With a caption. That said I am not wearing a blazer to the super bowl and hexed years so eric where will on radio Tom Brady will be right in New England league. Really definitely. He's not he's not going anywhere. I mean I don't see Robert Kraft letting that happen. Think about this guy has played his whole career in New England his whole career. And you might say that Bill Belichick take wants to get rid of him or they. They don't see eye to eye whatever he does but but the but the owner. That football is Robert Kraft. Robert Kraft loves Tom. Brady and Tom Brady has done so much for for New England for the National Football League. I mean really. I mean you might hate the Patriots. I never like to pay. Even when they didn't have Tom Brady cheating. They were so but anyway He's done he's done so much I just don't see him. I don't go anywhere I really don't I can't I can't picture it. I see he bill belichick leaving before Tom Brady would need I. And that's that's what I would see because I feel like that you know he had a chance to keep Jimmy G.. Bill Belichick did not a chance that he didn't they didn't give him a chance to keep. They got rid of him. And I think that really like this that would have been my chance I I I. I had another dynasty but still the Patriots are a very good football team. This year. They had a great defense. People WanNa best defense. They had a special teams I'm the one that wants I. I got to say Tom Brady. COTTAM S man. I mean big. I mean it's the truth. He got to play play football but he still plays at a high level. They're in a division that they should win. It's not a tough division. They win that division. So they'll be what they were twelve and four this year. They probably two for next year. Eleven and five thirteen thirteen three or something like that so. I don't see Tom Brady going anywhere I I don't see that. I don't believe he plays in New England skip I I don't I can't definitively pinpointed. Plays that. He'll go but I think in order for him he has to go to a place that gives him the best opportunity when the Super Bowl. It's just not about getting out of New England to show you know I I just needed. A change of scenery is about winning Super Bowl. He has to win one coach Belichick First Super Bowl and win. Who is the winner is a simple and ask ask if this was a race between bill belichick and Tom Brady because the days that we're in the same we're having the same discussion? And you have the discussion two or three times next year. WHO's most responsible for the success and so say race the first one to super bowl fifty five to sixty is the winner? And that's what he's GonNa come down to now can he goes. I mean he's looking at it okay. Who has a good outfit? Who has good offensive line? Because he's not mobile like these young quarterback that's up and coming who has never was ause right right early more now that you've got to be forty three that's true who have offensive line wide receivers and a defense so Adams give honestly. I don't see a Peyton. Manning situation paid many got the perfect storm you had. You had a young dicker. You had Julius Thomas No Sean Marino Title Office of line the Wind Got Vasquez from San Diego. You sit and then you bring in a key to leap remember the Denver team albeit with Tim Tebow they had one they won the division. All of a sudden you get to step into a team that won the division in a playoff game and I say okay here we go so now. We're looking at okay. People mentioned the raiders. Daddy make the play the chargers they didn't make the playoffs Chicago. They didn't make the playoff. So all the teams that you know that that sounds reasonable. They didn't make the playoffs. Now you may dimension on Monday. Maybe they said Okay Jimmy you got to go. We're GONNA take Tom Brady for two years. Because we believe at the quarterback position is that where we're that's where we're we're lacking yup. I believe we can get there okay. That would be an ideal situation. I don't see that happening but I just I just think there's been too much blood would bad blood between coach Belichick and talk now. I just give you know. They had the centennial team and coach. Belichick said it was great to just you know shoot. You'll be able to say it with Tom and talk football and they were all took a big picture with all the page format pages but Tom knows he knows you try to get rid of me while are you. Over

"Place if he has a shot at the end. Oklahoma will have a chance because this young man is special they just need to keep because until the fourth quarter well Jalen hurts is certainly special. But he has seen a decline in whether it's as throws or using his legs does he need to get back to his ways from the beginning of the season if they hope to come out with the victory in this game. No I think you've got to understand this kid's been wearing a back brace all year. He's been carrying this team. He's done everything. He scored fifty one touchdowns. I know he has a few fumbles on the season. But that's because he's been trying to do everything to find his way back when they're down twenty-five against Baylor it was on Jalen hurts his back but guess what he's been able to carry this team. He needs to have some help in this game. His defense needs to step it up. Coach grant a great defensive offensive coordinator. He's going to be starting in slant in that defensive line try to force a Lsu into a turnover to CD lamb needs to step up but also pay attention for the fullbacks the h back physician from Oklahoma. It's what Mark Andrews for the Ravens used to play for Oklahoma. They have eight receiving touchdowns that position does this year. It could be huge in this game with their play. Action from from Jalen hurts his legs and then be able to against one on one the linebackers of Lsu. I think that's where Oklahoma is GonNa try to pick apart whale issue. Because they're they're going to three first round graphics grant Fulton singly. Those guys are all going in the first round. I don't think they're going to go after the DVD th. I think they're going to go after the linebackers. That could be a key in this game. Tibo Abo- my guy. You're the quarterback experts you've got Lawrence in the game you got hurts. You got fields. You got all these guys in order. Give me the quarterbacks that you trust the most in this in this man why do you. We are the spotlight. This come on just say let me just say. They're all great quarterbacks in Gosh this is a tough one and this one. I'm going to go borough I just because he what he's done. This year is silly pluses receivers. His is often Selena's defense everything the national championship being in New Orleans. It just feels like a perfect storm. I'm going to go JOE BOROUGH NUMBER ONE GO Trevor Lawrence number two yeah. He struggled early on the year. But if you watch them the last few games he is on fire and he has ice waters veins. I'm going to go. Jalen hurts number three just feels. I think he's one of the best players in the country but just because the other so good I'm GonNa put a number four. I liked that list. Tim Louis Riddick here. Let's listen when you're when you're ranking those quarterbacks right there how how do you how do you really factor in when you're looking at Justin feels and you put them there number four. What do you think the influence of Ryan has been on just in fields and Ryan Day? What influences he had on this offense offense overall because it seems much more multiple and much more explosive as far as taking shots down the field in just in field is a big part of that? But what do you think the wants to Ryan Day has been this year. He's a huge part of that and I'm not trying to knock in putting forth. I just think all these guys are that good. I think Justin fields is one of the better players is in the country. I think you'll have a chance of winning the heisman next year. I think what's a little bit different. This year is their receivers or a little bit more experience. He has big time receivers. I think they have the consistent assistant running game with a really good offensive line from JK Dobbins and master teeth. And I think the play action has been dynamic. I think their ability to be able to get the safeties to creep up and get one on ones down the field and a lot of level concepts where you're gonNA have a post. You're going to have a corner you're going to have a flat defender and Dan Ryan Day loves that and he finds a lot of different ways to be able to attack that. And that's something I feel. Justin is really comfortable with. He's comfortable with the quick play action getting back back in the pocket and a lot of long situations. You don't see them do straight dropback. It's more of getting a quick token play fake. That's because that's where Justin feels comfortable and he's really dynamic that way and I think that's something Ryan Day is really coached into their system. This year is figuring out ways where he can be his best and Justin has been fantastic passive one one interception forty seven touchdowns. He's had a fantastic year and been one of the best players in the country. Tibo let's elevate to bird's eye view. I I WANNA talk about the implications. This game has college football fields. Transfer quarterback hurts transfer quarterback borough transfer quarterback. How do you feel about out the state now with the transfer portal? And all that when you see all three of these guys playing in this caliber of games. I guess I would say I have mixed emotions. I I think that I think quarter. I think these young kids should have a chance to go and play and they shouldn't be bound up into one university when they pick. Okay `specially quarterbacks because all these guys were were backups. They weren't given a shot for one reason another but they went to another place and now they're either either winning heisman trophies. semi-final Games as a quarterback is different than every other physician. You can play five or six linebackers in a game you can play ten offense of lime. I'm in a game. You can play six receivers game for the most part unless you're running a unique system. You play one quarterback that means you need to give these other guys a shot to compete to flourish and to be heisman trophy winners. Because if JOE would've stayed at Ohio state he probably would not be the starter. Maybe this year he would have been but he probably won't be a heisman trophy winner so I think especially for the quarterback position. We need to have the opportunity to go to other schools to compete to give yourself yourself a chance because I encourage his kids. Live out your dream. You know sometimes if you're at school and you're stuck behind someone you want to be loyal to that school but at the same time you want to go live out their the dream and I think for the quarterback position. They need to have the opportunity to go. Do that in Tim. Talking about living out your dreams and working up to your full potential. Which player do you? You think we'll make the biggest sleep in their draft stock this weekend. Oh goodness I think Joe Hardy has done that. I I think you know if we talked about this year. I think it was Joe. I think this weekend I think jalen hurts has a chance to show some people. I think a lot of people kinda wrote them off. They said Oh. He's not the same passer that is and rightfully so but tools. One of the best passers college. Football has ever seen so it's not necessarily fair to say Jalen can't play at the next level. I think what he's done this year. The what he's learned from Dan Enos last year at Alabama and now this year under Lincoln Riley. I think he's going to. He's going to push himself up where he's going to be given a chance to be a quarterback of the next level and I don't think that came before him I mean you're down there at the chick filet peach bowl and I'm going to be doing the mega cats for that football game and I'm sitting there. I'm watching the tape of these. These two teams play right and I'm watching. LSU's offense and you talk about level passing game concepts as far as what Ohio state likes to Lsu will absolutely rip You doing the same thing in Joe. Borough has just doing that and I'm sitting there going. Okay how do I give Oklahoma. Good chance to win this game on the defense side of the ball. How do you what do you? How do you gauge the prospects of Oklahoma being able to stay competitive in this game especially on the defensive side where their best safety the best pass rusher not playing in this football game? How do you see them? Come you know trying to be able to win this football game regardless of whether or not you know jalen hurts really point. Yeah Lewis a really good point. I I think we aren't talking enough about delay Turner. Yo they're strong safety. He's all over the place and he just broke his collarbone last week. And nobody's really mentioned it. We're talking about the three. You guys suspended but that dude is one of the best players on their team. Won Best safeties in the League. He's all over the place just flying around. I think they're going to really miss him. I think one guy for Oklahoma that has to step up is outside linebacker slash defensive in number thirty five Nick Benita. He doesn't have a lot of sacks but he harasses quarterback all over the place in the big twelve championship. He's young so he's growing every single week and he can win with the speed rush in or out and I think this young man has to get Joe Borough zero off the spot. And then I think Alex grinch I think he's got a design some new things you know the last six games. LSU's face the defense came up with a totally totally new game plan and they showed all year the last six games so joing and company. They know they're gonNA face something new from coach grinch but it has to be something that is going to give you have this defense a chance to maybe it's to sky. Maybe it's to cloud where they're going to be able to force them to throw in tight coverage and get an interception and then all the stunning from this defensive line maybe you can get a sack fumble strip fumble early on in the game. I think this defense needs to be aggressive. ENFORC- issue because of not Lsu is going to force the issue down the field with what you said Lewis with the three level passing game. It's GONNA torture them. If you don't get to Joe Borough fast all right. Tim Finally One quick thing. Who Do you predict playing in the championship game on January thirteenth in New Orleans? I'M GONNA GO LSU here. I think they're going to table to last a little bit longer. I think is going to make plays I think. Just Joe Borough and company these receivers will be too much at the end. And then I'm GonNa go with Clemson and I think people don't realize how good Brent Venables is at the defensive coordinator. I think he's one of the best in the country when he was a defensive coordinator coordinator at Oklahoma and face them the national championship game. He had an amazing game plan. That kind of threw us off and threw me off the second half last year in the National Championship. Totally through to a for a loop. I think he's going to bring a lot of pressure. I think they're gonNA play a lot of zero hold. They're going to bring your safeties up. They're going to do a lot of unique things. Six against against just feels in Ohio state. And I think it's going to give them a very very close win over very good Ohio state team all right Tim. Well thank you so much. We got sooners tigers. Tamar Four P._M. on E._S._P._N.. Happy holidays. Thank you guys. You guys are killing good job to have a good one..

"MO having the best season and I know what's interdependent. WHO's your coach. Who Your teammates all that stuff. I get that but let me tell you something. I don't care what anyone Malone Barkley never had a better season than Jordan throughout Jordan prime of his career just never happened there guys got the MVP from Lebron but what standpoint statistically or when you want the gain single thing if you look at the game. I'm not arguing against it. I'm just saying that there's a different perspective that people are going to look at the Games and say Barkley has more value value. This season to the defense to the the point is with mahomes. I don't bring that up to debate. Basketball very point is with mahomes is however you want to phrase it. WHO's having the season the answers mahomes. WHO's the better player the answers mahomes? If you want to isolate value well swap teams who get which team gets better wherever Mahat like the answer is always going to be mahomes. He's just better so when the best players in his prime in a decent situation either even the idea that value and best isn't synonymous. I think is bogus of course their synonyms. He's the best player meeting he's the most valuable player the Lakers these are experimenting with different lineups now that they have Braun and the brow both in la yesterday at practice Lebron James. WHO's running the one playing point guard also noteworthy. This season makes the first time that he's not being listed as the top player in the NBA Kendrick Perkins was on the radio DOT COM podcast have scowls talking about his top ten players in the NBA and explain the I'm being number two on the list and the ensuing response he got from King James Braun Braun actually takes with him when I tweeted out my top ten players and I had Janas that number one because I had to show respect 'cause he wasn't mvp His team was had the best record in the league. They had the best offense best defense in the League Iglesia so I take the BRA said that's the only reason I had the rank you number two. You know what he told me. He said in due time I will reclaim my mouth roll mm-hmm. Maxi believe it. We'll Lebron reclaim his throne. Nope you will not let me start by saying. Lebron is so great. It's it's hard to wrap your mind around as a basketball player. I don't think enough has been said about the level at which he's performing heading into his seventh season. It's absurd the gold standard for that was always Kareem Kareem abdul-jabbar seventeen years. It was still a great player but he was clearly not the best player in the world anymore or maybe not top five or something like that. Lebron James is still a an MVP level player. He will not reclaim histone Steven. A. Is the reason why the Western in conference finals mark. My words are gonNA presuming. Health are GONNA come down. We always Lakers and the clippers. I don't always presume health. I got an the new coach. What I'm saying is whenever we're talking about stuff like we automatically the George Yeah. That's IT anybody Gary Western Conference finals are GonNa come down to an all staple center showdown share the building build the amazing non. Listen what I'm GonNa tell you right now. He's GonNa have to start getting his excuses ready for Lebron. Leave it or not Steven A. You're going to have to get get your excuses ready for Lebron imagine that Kawhi Leonard and the clippers are going and I'm a Lakers fan or going to beat the Lakers this season. I'm not looking ahead. I'm talking about this. Upcoming season. In the Western Conference finals at Staple Center Kawai letter letter will be playing defense on Lebron jeans when Paul George's he will be doing the best possible job anyone in history could have ever done Lebron James and again. This is great because Hawaii going to be fantastic defensively on the other end who is going to be the leading offensive player for the clippers he will therefore clearly be the best player in the series on the winning in team the clippers will go on to win the championship and I let it will be the MVP meaning Lebron at least this year and cannot reclaim the throne okay well. I can understand that that's logical perspective and not get where you're coming from. I have a personal wish I've always had wishing my near quarter of a century covering the NBA for me. I've always dreamed about Miami. Going against Los Angeles the finals for obvious reasons that have very little to do with basketball okay. It's my I mean I could care less. Let me tell you right now. Ask South Beach Against Southern California. That's how I would view that series and I cannot tell you how giddy and happy I would be having said all of that back tha basketball. If there is a second option consolation prize I have absolutely no problem whatsoever with an all. La Conference Chris waddle's dot the only my only limit and regret is that how can we couldn't be NBA finals baseball the dodgers in the West and angels in the East American League dodgers internationally. How can they do that with you wouldn't bother me but having but listen Lebron James Play fifty five games less yes you missed more games than he ever has and his career played less memphis than he ever had in this career thirty five point two still average twenty eight and twenty seven eight eight eight and I don't expect that to change one bit and with Anthony Davis his teammate to offset some of the responsibilities and some of the obligations nations that he'd have sat on his shoulders. I think that frees them up. I think he's more rested than he has ever been because he didn't make this twenty seven games last year plus. They make the playoffs for the first first time if I ever have to go on eight. NBA Finals the plan in the junior brother got off to a digital months earlier made blaze. Generic drug price fixing under investigation

"Has learned new details about a federal criminal investigation into price fixing in the generic drug industry. As follows a sixty minutes report on a new lawsuit accusing generic drug makers of pushing up prices by billions of dollars. Here's Jeff gays. CBS news has confirmed that the antitrust division of the Justice department is an -ticipant in criminal charges as it continues to investigate whether generic drug companies engaged in a conspiracy to raise prices. The federal investigation has already led to two guilty pleas on Friday, more than forty states filed a five hundred page lawsuit, alleging the biggest and Eric drug makers had built consumers out of billions of dollars where blowing the lid off this whole thing on CBS this morning, Connecticut, Attorney general William Tong accused the companies of jacking up some drug prices. Nearly eight thousand percent really what blew this whole thing might open is are the phone records, and we've gotten I think eleven million phone records seven million documents. We can see that competitor is talking to competitor be five times on one day. Connecticut. Prosecutor Joe Nielsen told sixty minutes phone logs emails and text show generic drug companies. And after the price went up, she stopped taking the drug. It's disheartening to think that somewhere in some corporate boardroom. A group of people decided it was a good idea to raise the price because it was better for their pockets. Mouly died three years after she was diagnosed, no one can know erstwhile would've extended her life. But what angers ni- Hartwick is that her mother never got the chance to find out. "All right. No particular order just get it out of the way at the beginning of the playoffs. We said we thought the patriots are gonna win the Super Bowl. We're going to stick with them. That's all. We believe football is simplistic. If you do not turn the ball over. If you do not get penalties and you protect your quarterback. You're gonna win a lot of games. Simple as that. New England doesn't turn the ball over protects. The quarterback does not have penalties. Now, of course that can change in a game. But past the precedent. I like him. I remember at the beginning of the playoffs. Nobody nobody. And it was something. I saw something. I watched they were getting better towards the end. We'll get what they get to play. The game New England's favored by two and a half. That's my game summary. If the New England turns it over three times different story. I think the important parts of the game. James white running back James white out of the backfield Sony. Michelle running out of the backfield. I think that's going to be important. Anyway, may the best team win and hopefully. Doofus referees or umpires whatever they call them in football. Don't screw the game up. By the way, I had mentioned this other thing I was watching. Roger Goodell was doing a does a conference a press conference every every year before the Super Bowl, and they asked them about collusion and Colin Kaepernick and why Colin Kaepernick is not in football. Well, the fact that a matter is Colin Kaepernick is better than. What do you have? How many teams are the Twenty-eight? Let's say this twenty eight teams. I think I'm close. That's probably fifty six sixty quarterbacks. I'd say he's better than twenty of them. I think he's better than some starters. I know team wants them. Because he's the story. He made himself the story Tibo he could have kept playing not pick them up. You know, why? Every press conference before every game. They were one hundred people asking Tim tebow questions and nobody else, and they have to weigh and measure is it worth it or not. And they decided capper Nick is Tom Brady. And that's that. And if I'm a team owner. To make a decision. Hey, nobody is wearing. In practice during the game. Picketing police says picks and playing for my team. Any collusion. Anyway, whatever just just make a note. I like the patriots. Big jobs report today, much better than expected. But they lowered last month. I guess it's going to be somewhat of an even Steven. But the number was very strong. You cannot argue against it one way or the other. And that's my bigger news. We'll do the market wrap and a little bit. Well, we're in the final hour the market we're pre taping. Because my schedule traveling such it's about three o seven PM. We will not take you to the end of the closer of the market

"The biggest thing in my life. Oh, say faith. This comes from knowing. Outside of that. So I just know. How big the situation is not really going to define me. This. You know, what Christ says he thinks I am who I know that he says, I am so. Really like, I said at the end of the day doesn't really matter. What people think about me or how good they think I play or whatever, you know, doesn't really matter. So big. The big thing for me to my situation knowing that confidence. It's pretty interesting, isn't it? Well, now when you say, I wonder how the public react how NFL's gonna react or whatever. Whoever. Do you think that what he said there might be a problem for him? I think what he said there is wonderful. I do think when incredibly refreshing. Yeah. I wish more young people thought that way, but it may be detrimental to his NFL career Tim tebow. Tim tebow? Tim tebow was practically pushed out of the NFL because he kneeled apprai-. Okay. Yeah. So you're thinking that this guy might be a little bit too. You don't sell Budweiser. If you're a Christian a little bit too much of his faith on his sleeve there. No. I don't think it's too much and I don't either. But wonderful. I think I think is what he said. And what he did. And how he said it was spot on. Thank you for saying, it, I hope a lot of young people here. What he said it would not be welcomed in the NFL. He continues to talk like that. Wow. That would be a damn shame. If that becomes a some kind of a PR issue for him or whatever that they need to take a step back and look at that. Absolutely. If it happens all the Heat's that everybody got towards Tim tebow was a Christian and Brian prayed and wanted to stay a virgin until got married full just ridiculed him for that. Right. Well, I think his biggest problem was he just wasn't all that. Great. But it wasn't a great court. He was he was he was a great college quarterback. Yes. Yes. Yes. But I think he was a tremendous. He's a good athlete. Right. But but after that, it was just like, well, you know, but I hope that's not a problem for me. I I really don't I think that should they should actually make that they need to turn that into. An example, a shining example university should be incredibly proud of his sounds like he's got his priorities straight. Listen president. Donald Trump has rejected a short term legislative fix for the partial government shutdown declaring he will never ever back down. Trump rejected a suggestion to reopen. The government for several weeks while to go. She would continue with Democrats on his demand for five point seven billion for a wall along the us Mexico border. The president also edged further away from the idea of trying to declare a national emergency to circumvent congress kind of backing away from that right now. And he he was in New Orleans yesterday addressing the American farm bureau's federation one hundredth annual convention, the president blaming the Democrats for this ongoing shut down. They think if they can stop me from building the wall. That's good. This is the reason why they don't want the wall built because they all know it works on approved it numerous times. I mean, Chuck. Schumer had his hand up every time. This would come up. The Senate is now this they're only doing this because of the twenty twenty election because I said, I'll build the wall, and I'm going to build the wall. And it's only one of many things that I promise House Democrats passed a spending Bill to reopen the federal government, but Republican controlled Senate and White House say they won't allow it without the five billion dollars for the border wall. So here we go day twenty-five in this partial government shutdown in you have tremendous concern about these people are getting paid. I do I think it's starting to get out of hand a little bit. Now think enough is enough these people that have nothing to do with this this argument, this they can go apply for unemployment benefit that shouldn't have to. They shouldn't have needs to let that go. Let let the government shutdown continue to pursue border security or the wall, whatever you're going to do. But let these people off the hook eight fifteen check on traffic. Now, here's Melinda. We continue to see solid delays.

I got something for you game of the week and number twelve Syracuse versus Notre Dame at Yankee Stadium, very fancy how much of a chance do you give cues to pull off the upset? I give him a shot. They got a powerful offense. I will say Notre Dame is getting better. I still don't have them in my top for. I don't think they're one of the four best teams in the country. But there are getting better led by Ian fuck, but they need to be weary of Dungy. Eric dungy? A really good quarterback when he's healthy. Syracuse offense is powerful. Notre Dame needs to keep it in front of them because they're accused Liz on the big play in this game. They're going to live with it. And they're going to die with it. It is going to be up to stopping the big play for Syracuse. If Notre Dame can do that which done in most of the year. Notre Dame will prevail. I'm very disgusted on pleased with your answer. Tip people. I expected you to say because Stephen your boy, you'll Fred has inspired the Syracuse Richmond that on a deliver upset for that reason alone. That's what I was expecting it. You say I I would have they dropped to after your speech already. And so I figured that already has worn off. I mean, maybe you could. Do it again like replay and play it for him and there'd be inspired again. Go ahead. Go ahead. Because in all serious, this what I want to ask you talked about Syracuse in the big play. I like they were gonna give like what Monet has been doing for them. You don't do you. Do you think that Notre Dame can be ran on in this game? I don't think insistently no not for four quarters. I think you can hit some big plays. But I think Syracuse option in this game is the big play down the field passing the ball and then on third down with Dungy's lakes. I think that's the way they can get the upset. And I do think it's possible for them to get the upset. I think Notre Dame's gonna put one extra man in the box to stop the zone read early, and I and second down. So I think it would be hard to consistently run the ball for Syracuse. What do you make of this whole major Applewhite at Oliver situation? Tim where the coach apparently is picking a fight with a player who was maybe protecting his multimillion dollar future. What let's go. About let's hear the sound. I him before you react. We just have a rule on the sideline that guys that are participate in the games specifically starters, you know, that they have jackets so they can stay cool, and you know, as coaches coached and played for years.
