Number three on this list simply put Lamar Jackson, smoke or fire. What is happening? Because something appears to be up there. Even though all of his teammates have said, we love him. "So two guys got the job done with their legs. No. Bill's GM brain and bean also recently said that the Stefon Diggs contract situation would not be an issue to get something done. That's good news there for buffalo day. You like the Buffalo Bills off season so far? Well, Brandon bean also said he would trade himself before he trans. And then now Josh Allen's like, don't think about coming to my best receiver. Yeah, I do. I like the addition because it was cheap of OJ Howard to tight end from Tampa Bay. I love the fact that they brought Rogers sappho on board who's a big physical interior offensive lineman. They're getting TRE davious white back who's one of the premier corners in the NFL who got hurt last year. Obviously the addition of von Miller. So I think it's the team that we felt was probably the best team in the AFC last year. Certainly the best defense, the interesting thing for me about their football team moving forward is their new offensive coordinator Ken Dorsey. How much does he carry over from Brian dabel who's in New York now and how much does he put his own fingerprint on it? And then how do they really use Josh Allen as the season goes on when it comes to his legs and taking hits off his body? Yeah, they're saying some things that make you think they want to protect him a bit more as a runner because he is every year as more and more toll on the body. Let's say in the AFC east, but go to Miami. Dolphins have had a Need for Speed this off season. They had plenty of it. They first of all, most recently traded for tyreek hill. It was 5 fix going to Kansas City. So argued with the fastest player in the league is added to Miami. Here's his new head coach Mike mcdaniel on that NASCAR like offense they now have. As far as exact ways that will use tyreek hill relative to the way that we, that debo Samuel was used in San Francisco, there's probably going to be some overlap to some degree, but those are things that Devo Samuel evolved into that role because of both circumstance and because of his skill set while in San Francisco. I expect no different no difference really with tyreek. Interesting stuff there, Dan. What do you make of this rebuild offense? Down there in Miami. I think this offense in Miami will be like basketball on grass. Interesting. And I'll basketball team that constantly tries to run in transition and get in fast breaks. They are going to be about speed and precision and how many different ways can we get multitudes of different playmakers the ball out in space and allow those guys to win in a one on one matchup, and instead of a four yard box, it's an 8 yard box of the street. You know, and I think people have to understand that tua is not going to be asked to be Patrick Mahomes or a Josh Allen. He's going to be asked to be precise in all the little details when it comes to operating this offense. I think the most important stuff for tua and it's not easy for everybody at home is when Mike McDaniels calls these plays. You got to be precise with your snap boy motion. So if the motion and the ball has to get snapped, he's behind the tackle, it can't be behind a garden. It can't be behind the tight end. So two has got to be precise with that. It's got to go to the right guy at the right time on the right shoulder so a four yard catch becomes an 8 yard catch. It's going to be like this new age West Coast offense that is all about the speed and how well they can do all the little things. Yeah, listening to you talk Dan, I'm reminded of just how much pressure there is now on to it because there's no more excuses. They put in an optimal situation around him. And I also think there's pressure on the dolphins organization. I mean, the beginning of the show, I talked about from the chief side of this, how it was a bit of a short term risk, but they're betting on the long term. I think this is sort of the reverse for Miami. In the short term, this offense is going to be better. No, I'm excited. Listening to Dan talk about it, and Mike Daniel talk about it. I am excited to watch, however, while they'll get clarity on tua after, if that clarity is negative, if they feel with everything great around him and improved offensive line, he's not the guy while they do have draft picks next year. They spent so much draft capital and money on the wide receiver position. They're not in an ideal situation to get another quarterback, especially their draft picks exterior at the end of the first round. We will see teams at the beginning, probably going for Bryce young and CJ Stroud. So there's still an element of risk that I think is going to be interesting to watch play out and ultimately it comes down to whether to a tank viola lives up to the pieces around him. The key word that mean he used for me was optimal. Because I do think it now is optimal for the quarterback. Not only any quarterback for tua to be in Miami to play really well in not exactly the same, but it's a little bit like buffalo and Josh Allen in his third year where they got a Stefan Diggs and added a dynamic playmaking wide receiver and they had beefed up the offensive line a little bit and then Brian davo as the play caller totally understood what Josh was going to be good at and used him the exact way that his skill and talents were going to allow them to thrive. I think that's exactly the similar situation that two and now has in Miami. We'll be really, really, really fascinating. Just so many second reaction plays between mahomes and tyreek hill in Kansas City. Do those exist in Miami? We'll find out. This upcoming fall. "Down in Atlanta and by the way, of all the games I did not enjoy watching a week 18, just having to watch the falcons again. I know. Why is this in the a block, like the show's like a block? I figured you would have just like banished it to the netherworld. Because we get to sort of move it out of the way and acknowledge the fact that the saints, I don't know, if you're a saints fan, the rams have to be your least favorite team at this point, right? Bucks, yeah. Rams have to be right after that. You have the NFC title game a couple years ago with the controversial non call in the past interference. And now all you needed to do to get into the postseason was for the rams to close that gaming as forty-niners with a 17 point lead and they don't do it. So now the rams excuse you the saints go home after what was it's the falcons, but really impressive performance on both sides of the ball there to beat again the Atlanta Falcons, the worst 7 wind team in the history of the NFL. They might be. I'm not joking. I know that the 17th game obviously adds some complications for records, and so we're going to have to go back and really put an asterisk next to this. So they're the worst. They're the worst 7 win team in 17 game NFL history. I think we can say that safely. We know that for sure. But this caps, this cap's the most impressive 9 win season, I would say this about the Steelers too. This cap's the most impressive 9 win season I've ever seen. I think buy a coach. To be able to throw out all the quarterbacks that you've thrown out like people are saying now I think there's some revisionist history going on with Taysom Hill and what we believed him to be at one point. If you put Taysom Hill on Washington football team that team would be own 17. I mean, they wouldn't have won a single game this year. And I think that's incredibly impressive to recover like they did from having to start in book in that absolute slaughter in Miami. This is just a super resilient team. They're tough, they're feisty and I don't know. I mean, I don't know what the future holds there. I don't think you're getting any quarterbacks in the off season, but they're still going to be a pain in the butt. It is a really good team from 22 to 50 22 to 53. I don't know why I'm excluding the first 21 players on the roster. From two to 53 and we almost boy we narrowly dodged a Trevor semi in playoff start. It looks like it's Taysom Hill left this game with an injury. And, man, we can talk about it a little bit as we go on. But week 18 was kind of gross..

"They didn't really throw the ball to any more side like the entire game. So Brady recognized that I thought that was pretty cool. And is there any I think the final thought had watching this, I had a thought about the cold period first, so I love the throwback uniforms. They're amazing, but I fear that when you put a game solely in Carson Wentz's hands are like, hey Carson, we need you to throw to win this game. I fear that you can't trust him. I don't know that. This is like the first time all year in Indy, where we've seen the cold, say, we're not going to be able to run the ball very well and kind of, and that's an abandoned, but they weren't trying to run. I mean, they really were like Vita veia. This Buccaneers defense, the scheme, they're playing stop the run. They're also really good anyway when they don't, when they don't line up just simply trying to solve the run. And as a result, they were like really leaning heavily on cars and went to win the ball, throwing the football. He had three turnovers. Now, one was on a fumble. He got hit like a rough and one was on a Hail Mary at the end of the game. But they did come up short. Didn't make you feel great about Carson Wentz. And I don't know how to find peace with that. I'm not sure. But I felt a lot of and I was reminded of that watching hard knocks. I was like, Carson Wentz was not sharp as he needed to be. Against Tampa. And I'm just very, very interested. I can't tell you enough how much I am rooting for the cold. So I want them to make the playoffs so badly. I was all excited for Carolina. "And they're like, that's like, again, the interceptions could have been way worse. I'm not even fixated on those. That's a bad number to have represented in front of your sheet, but the reality was like, aside from a long touchdown at the end where he didn't do any work, the numbers were terrible. And he wasn't accurate. He wasn't a decision making wasn't good enough in my opinion. I like him as a person, and I'm glad he got paid a lot of money because I like seeing guys take care of their family, but I don't know. With less than three minutes left the cowboys led 27 to ten and the saints, again, they got a wild long touch on by Deontay Harris where he grabbed a 5 yard crossing route, made a bunch of defenders miss ran for a 70 yard touchdown, but that's a 65 yards after the catch. That's not Taysom Hill making a great play. Taysom Hill is lucky I got a touchdown and 70 more yards added to my stats. That touchdown was all deonta Harris. And so overall, Taysom Hill was inaccurate and did not play very well. And I don't really see a reality now where he becomes the franchise quarterback of the saints. I'm not opposed to that happening, but in order for that to happen. Taysom Hill would have to make a miracle dramatic turn and become suddenly a way better quarterback overnight. And it's not the first time we've seen him start a game or play a football game and over and over and over again. All I see from Taysom Hill, unfortunately, I like the guy, but our shortcomings with his arm talent and his decision making and he's a wildcat quarterback. Like he's at his best when he's running the football. Don't love to be able to say that about my quarterback. And again, I just do not see Taysom Hill. Now I'm not trying to I'm not just overreacting to one game. It's not like it's the first time I've seen this guy play. It's the first time he's made a start in a while, but we've seen Taysom Hill numerous times throughout his career and it's always the same story. I walk away feeling underwhelmed. And really the only good thing I can say, this is kind of funny. I like this actually. The good thing I can say about Taysom Hill is I believe it's Fox. I'm like 99.9% sure it's Fox, but I don't want to be wrong. I'm pretty sure I saw it last night watching the game. Fox does like superhero cartoons for every quarterback where they like show them like holding a football and they got all these Jack muscles and it's like a little cool cartoon graphic for every quarterback during the pregame or during the early part of the game. And Taysom Hill is the only quarterback I've seen where the muscles are properly represented. Like the dude is jacked. Like, hey, say what you want about Taysom Hill. That guy gets after it in the way you're like, he just his biceps are massive..

"Mitch Travis Key, the former Bear quarterback. Absolutely unequivocally torched his old team Saturday when the Bills ran it up against Chicago that that felt good. Oh, I bet it felt good and the thing about Travis Key. He looked like Hall of Fame potential, and I know Bear fans are going. Hey, what's the deal? Why don't you play that well for us? I think it's all about coaching. I think the bills were able to put him in a great position for him to succeed. I know it's a preseason game, but still a confidence of the bills and the confidence of Stravinsky's got to be through the roof. Yeah, And a fresh start helps, too. And they say that a lot in sports a fresh start anywhere. New coaching, new style. Something that better fits you and you get to maybe he I don't know. Did he get to choose where he went to play? Yeah. Yeah, I believe I got to choose where he went to play into the style of offense that he likes. And it's working. He's driving and I think that's great. He's not. He's never been a really bad court, and he was great quarterback in college. He was he was just It was hard to believe. You know, they didn't feel like they didn't really give it a shot. Well, I think they gave him a shot, but again is supporting characters cast of characters not as strong as it is in Buffalo, but I wish to go well, he's not going to play much. And I I got to believe that Carson Wentz is back. Because of two reasons. I think the cults have so much money invested. And Carson Wentz. If he's healthy, he's going to play so they have to. They have to. He had a play where it looked like he was going to take off running and then he pulls up and throws like a little 12 yard pass and the corners in a bind where do you stay with the receiver or do you attack the line of scrims to tackle Justin Fields? No win situations. So Justin Fields looked really really good. One start I don't want to overreact but one start in the preseason. And I'm like I can not wait to watch more Justin Fields. Now jets rookie quarterback Zach Wilson. He looked good. There were a couple of slants didn't play very much. He was 6 for 9 with 63 yards. The story here is that Zach Wilson just did not play very much at all in pre season game number one. I liked what I saw but there's just it's like I can't really tell you much more. I watched what he did but it was like he throws a good ball. I mean what else is there not much? Now I was surprised that Taysom Hill started for New Orleans in pre season game one not Jameis Winston. Taysom Hill was solid. He had an interception a play where receivers running across the field on a shallow cross or Taysom Hill throws the ball expecting him to keep running. The receiver throttles down and stops and so that's just a miscommunication. Taysom Hill did have another interception later that got dropped. Now Jameis Winston was not amazing either. I walked away going like I don't really like either of these guys. I mean Jameis Winston has a bigger arm Taysom looks more polished. He's a better decision maker.
