"Yeah it basically goes see him see in any order of those four Mixon jonathan taylor. Typically is what. I've been seeing my mocks. Yeah that's exactly what i've been seeing. That's why i actually really liked. Pick five because in redraft there's after mccaffrey. Those four players are really kind of interchangeable. And then you obviously get the earlier pick in the second round on the way back. So i really liked that. Pick five but yeah. Those are the top five players we keep seeing our ads. So it's on. The part of the reason. Why i wanted six is here. I could go like jonathan taylor. Nick job i would definitely take traub over taylor if i wanted to go wide. Receiver would go tyreek or davante adams but in twenty twenty one with seventeen games. I really believe we're gonna see more shared backfield's not as many workhorse backs. So i wanna take advantage of some positional scarcity and draft. The number one tight end and go. Travis kelsey dr new. I was part of the reason. I want to be a nine. I wanted to see what it'd be like to have terrorists kelsey and redraft. I guess a calcio travis. Kells it's that old kelsey. He goes by both all right. So holler takes kelsey you you stink. My friend stinker stinker. All right tyreek hill. Jonathan taylor and i am on the clock time to pivot. I guess a little bit here. Like i said i was really really going kelsey but i'm going to go with a running back. I think is very very safe especially in the first round technical job. No surprises there after nick. Chubb austin eh. cler at ten. That's a good pick you know on a pc. He's going to be one of the top running backs in receiving game. Devante adams eleven in aaron jones at number twelve to round out the first round team twelve went with ezekiel elliott at the two one so he paired up aaron jones with zeke. You'll elliott team eleven is wide receiver. Heavy decay metcalf. He paired up monta atoms. Aj brown at ten back to you on the clock. Jake some interesting pairings there. I'm not gonna lie not fully what i expected to happen. But i am not upset about getting stefan digs here at the two four. I made it pretty clear. He's my number one hundred zero this year so getting him in the second round. I'm loving that especially the fifth wide receiver off the board. Going back to zeke at Two dot one. And what is he the tenth running back off the board. Are we seeing that a lot in these marks as he was pretty late. Zeke is you either. Get a guy that either. It's a league that someone loves him or it's a league that's entirely out and then if they're everyone's out this is what you see zeke but you will see the guys that still believe he'll go one six one seven still. Yeah we've already talked about the top five running backs. But then we're seeing a lot of jonathan taylor and nick chubb which is how our our draft ended up playing out. I've been seeing the aaron. Jones ezekiel elliott camakers. Those four kind of the next year that have been interchangeable. And a lotta drafts that i've been part of..

"Last night you're watching the seattle mariners in the debut of jared kelanic. What do you think first impressions. You know it's funny. You the anticipation. Especially i live in north west. This is like holiday. Right here comes and this happens for so many teams. But i mean he's definitely one that i think and you've talked about it a lot even this week on the podcast because of the big trade from the mets i feel like it's one of those like cross country stories. There's a lotta from new york all over the country but especially new york an here. In the north west you know ready for in the anticipation of of his arrival to seattle mariners. He was over four. But i was watching the game live. We had it on and you know first of all you knows. Actually sacked could no hitter in an so. He was like a night to come up. You know when when zach was throwing crazy stash You know his off speed everything that he was throwing but did yours credit. The first pitch of his first he swings in looks. I mean he. He crushes the ball Taylor nick whitten's ends making a diving catch into the stands to get him out But everybody hit was hard. I i like the approach and you could just see from him. Buster the confidence like it was just coming out of him. And i mean i imagine if i'm in those shoes at anyone that's there it's your heart is pounding. You know you're you want so much you end up seeing guys that can't even see straight and there swinging polls. No business doing he. I'm that great approach. Great bats doesn't matter if you're over four four four i think for the mariners He already was taking big league at bats muse on fire at it doesn't surprise us hitting almost four hundred four came up but just his approach in coming out swinging early. The ball hard. It really jumped out at me and spring training. When we had the story in usa today were rip the mariners for service time manipulation lab. My first thing was ooh. This guy's got some swag like this is young player who who definitely has great competitive arrogance. Now he absolutely does and he's been doing that radio show to for Mlb network radio where he comes on once a week to kind of take people through the minor leagues you know talk about you know the process you know his ability to have and say the thing that everyone knows and obviously because of everything that was already said within the organization but i mean i heard you even talking jeff. It's it's frustrating when no one says the truth which is not that. He needs more time in the minors That could have been five percent of it but the bulk of it really is the fact that they wanted to manipulate his service time. And that's just the case for all of these prospects that you see that never get to get called up. I mean the fact that he wasn't in the top twenty six to be brought up in the first place. Everyone knows the reason why and so he addressed it. And then you've gotta back it with you know. Hey i deserve to be there. It's ridiculous that service time and then he went on and just tore it up in the minor leagues. So he's someone that can talk. Walk it which. I think is hard at a younger age with all the following attention and eyeballs on him. Even though he didn't come out hitting home runs and going for four. You tell his presence in the batter's box he's got the swag so among the notes that you sent me about topics you wanna talk to this week. Is tim tebow. And i as soon as i saw it was like. I'm not my head because i wanted to hear your perspective. 'cause i gotta tell you Since we got word that he signed with the jacksonville jags it so much reminds me of when he signed to play in the minors. With the mets were people are losing their minds over this Just merely signing a contract in the spring to play for the jags and at you know at the time he signed with the mets. I had my objection about it was any media member who pretending that he was legitimate prospect. That bothered me like when people would talk about well you know. Could he break in what numbers can be put in the big leagues. Oh stop but it was also ridiculous. I thought that anyone would be having rejection to tim. Tebow playing professionally. Like he was taking some time away from somebody else. That was absurd to me kim. You know him. What was your perspective. Just i mean how much respect i have for him because the amount of criticism and i was there with the mets when he would come out there and the amount to your point of media and this is the mets i out them. Yeah i mean. There's already a lot of mucus. Like oh my gosh. All of a sudden the media showed up it was it was like people you'd never seen. Before the mannequin. Every person ripping him one way or another juicy that swings. Yeah he threw like he's a football player. You should be here like just tons and tons. And and i'm standing there just watching a guy. It's putting himself out there because he he has a love for something and there's a deep desire to say you know what i have to try. There was nothing about tim tebow. That was like oh. I'm going to be a big leaguer. It was there is something inside of him. That was like i've always wanted to do this. And if you had the opportunity. Like i ask so many people that are sitting there at home going. This is ridiculous. How could he come try. Our even thinks that he could play with the mets or the jaguars. And but i look at differently. And that if he makes it or if he doesn't the fact is he's putting himself out there because he can and because he absolutely has a desire to to test himself knowing that he could feel absolutely knowing but he's never gonna quit. Like i heard people. This week saying you'll retired training camps with the jaguars. There is nothing inside of tim. Tibo that will ever quit either. He's going to get cut or he is going to get injured like that is like the only reason that he will not make it. It is not because he will ever quit. And i respect people.

new york usa five percent today Tebow Tibo tim jeff first thing This week first pitch this week tons and tons Last night zach once a week first impressions time manipulation lab tim tebow kim

"Mike Leoni of established the run DOT COM and we have a special guest this week Evan Silva one of the CO founders of established. Iran, what's up guys works out good to be with you guys have been listening to your guys show. Love the tight end stuff that you guys talking about. Deandre Washington just got called up from the chiefs practice squad and everybody listened this. Go pick him up I mean if you're into chasing chiefs backups. Because I. Am Leoni sounds like you're not no I am I was just needling wiggins a little bit I think he's been asking about Darwin Thompson Daryl Williams and who knows what they're gonNA do so I wouldn't waste too many roster spots on both those guys to try and handcuff C., H.. But thank you for the shout on the tight end stuff. No one spends as much time talking about UNHERALDED TIGHT MIA PAT do this podcast. Yeah. It's it's been fun. I'm hoping Logan Thomas can do something because we've talked about. Have a good game. Coming to the rescue man. The this episode is GonNa Be Really Fun we're doing a redraft of the twenty twenty rookie class. So this is a dynasty focus show were drafting this rookies. Four dynasty is you wouldn't in a rookie draft but someone asks this is redrafted dynasty on twitter it's dynasty but or read redraft misclass-. A lot has changed in four weeks. So we thought it'd be fun to revisit. This this really exciting rookie class I mean there's there's like a lot of really interesting players that are starting to emerge so. We're giving Evan. The first pick is a guest here. Mike's going to go second and then I'll go third and we'll just kinda go that way the entire time so. I kind of this thing we dive right into it right Y-yeah. Evan. Kick US off your, you've got the one one well taking Clyde Edward Solaire I think that there is a tear at the top of with two players in I. Think Clyde layer is the better bet clyde Edwards seller I think. Maybe, even argue that he's in a two year unto his own because of his passing game usage because Patrick Mahomes is signed for the next ten years because You Know Edward. Solaire is going to be there for at least four years if not the next five. I think he is. He's broken tackles at an incredible clip only Alvin Cook among future running backs. This season has more broken tackles We saw the cashless opener, but then he's been really good off from receiving standpoint of the past three weeks I. Think he's been pretty much everything we expected. touchdowns haven't been there but not not putting too much of a microscope on. The first four games of a dude's career just trying to trying to zoom out. And realizing what you have in Clyde Edward Solaire, I think that he's a buy low right now in season long if you can find somebody that's maybe a little frustrated and dynasty I think he's the clear one. Yeah Pat and I were talking before the show and it's like you don't WanNa put too much. You're trying to figure out how much weight you should put on the first four weeks with player usage and whatnot because you're thinking about, you know years in advance had dynasty pack the lot and you don't want to think too long term but. You also, you're not gonNA wait for weeks of usage when you're drafting the dynasty and I feel like I've gone back and forth when Marlon Mac I went out I was like, Oh, jd's the one one. Now you know he was athletic freak he was everyone's favorite running back prospect in now he's got no competition and now the last two weeks they've. Sort of been in a committee and it's like should that be affecting me but ultimately I think C. H. is the one a one just because I've been surprised at how quickly they've given him a workhorse type role. I didn't expect that I thought he was the one on one coming into the year expecting a split there. So when you give him the workhorse role. In with jt you see maybe they're not handing that to him if the workloads are the same as you know, give me the back. That's other mahomes and that's really good pass catcher. So I agree with C. H. at the one one, I will take Jonathan Taylor the one. Oh, two though. I think that just rook on C H, I mean he's he said at a high in snap count and snap percentage this past week. So I think he's been kind of more than I expected. At least in terms of quickly establishing himself as a war course. Getting just a huge percentage of the snaps compared to the guys on the he sixty eight percent of snaps. So that's that's really exciting to see and I think. Denial as the tiebreaker in terms of offense against Taylor but he's got the tiebreaker in terms of the snap usage, which is Mike that would be the concern right with Taylor's that he's not really even after Mac went down he's not established himself with the huge snap leader that you know we would have expected I think. But yeah, which is. Really, weird because we to when MAC was out, we didn't see any hinds. We just saw Wilkins garbage time and it looked like they were handing him the role, a huge workload and they've scaled back and I sort of you as JT's edge should be in the workload. So if he's not. Getting that edge in the workload how do you go against the back who catches passes and plays with? Patrick Mahomes and his Evans said with calling him a Bilo in redraft ill touchdowns are coming. He had the one in the opener got stuffed on the goal on a bunch sometimes the touchdowns ebb and flow. In this case, the offense because there's so many guys but everyone's going to get there is by the end of the season we're GonNa have some games for C. H. that. that resemble what we saw Damian Williams in that playoff run when he had huge fantasy games, the whole playoff run because that's exactly the role that they're using C. H. in which is Super full-time roll. Yay. With Taylor you know one of the concerns coming out of Wisconsin was that he was not heavily involved in the passing game his final year. He had I think twenty five catches but he had a bunch of drops bff pointed that out that he had a bunch of drops and it seems to is the that concern seem to ease in week one when he had six for sixty seven in the passing any, but his receiving role has actually diminished each week so far. So that is still a concern for Jonathan. Taylor. Might be a concern. For the rest of the of his career potentially you know. Nick Chubb was Kinda similar in that we knew he was an elite rusher coming out but he didn't catch passes in college and that has followed him into the pros even if we think that the guys are capable. Ver-. So often I think college receiving production for running backs is predictive of what's GonNa Happen to them in the NFL I mean the when the team draft some they don't see that on tape and you know they use guys like nagging am hines and you know Kareem Hunt and even last year Dontrelle Hilliard a little bit and you know they'll they'll. They will use guys in that receiving role and almost use that as a way to give a running back Jonathan Taylor Nick childlike during restroom game. and. That kind of happened to Mac where he was I, think capable receiver but was not used like that at all under the same regime says definitely a little bit of a Red Flag..

"taylor nick" Discussed on Fantasy Focus Football

"Day of week one as we start to turn the page towards week to Field Yates Matthew Berry hanging out with you of course, define you from her palatial estate as always Daniel DOPP, hanging out with us for the upcoming our and it was so good. So so good to have football back in our. Lives yesterday of course, we've got two more games tonight both on ESPN we've got seven o'clock and ten fifteen kickoffs cannot wait for those and Matthew. There was probably some fantasy break and some agony and disappointment yesterday but you know what? It was just so great to have football back we'll spare you all our personal failures we I was planning on doing the entire hour about it. Okay well. Leagues Faced Cavin Ridley in. Upsetting really and that many interesting we'll get into that later on we've got so much to get into. So we're going to dive right into and we're going to start with all of the injuries from week one and one of the unfortunate parts of football is that injuries are real. So we're GONNA get right into the injuries start with Stefan and. Unfortunately the Indianapolis Colts, are unlikely to have Marlin Mac for some period of time. What do you know about Marlin mack who left the game with the always scary non-contact injury looked like his ankle at first what's the latest Marlin Mac? were, did look like his ankle field. You saw when he walked off the field who was very flat footed, right? He really couldn't push off and that's exactly what happens when you have an Achilles injury. Frank Reich, did confirm that it is an Achilles injury for Marlin Mac and he's going for further testing today. This is one of those injuries where they know upon clinical. Examination that if he towards Achilles, you can feel it. You can tell right away the imaging just offers further details. Unfortunately, this looks like the end of the season for Marlin can be stay. Right there is to find you. We're coming back to be very busy to start the show but matthew, this is sad news for Marlin Mac guided contract year player, the value tremendously but. I don't ever WanNa make light of an injury from a fantasy football perspective though with one less back, the colts backfield obviously has fewer options to turn to which I think means basically, the Jonathan Taylor and Naim hines all of a sudden become, very, very busy, very busy. If you had started the season with knowledge meaning that you know had avid in preseason having having a pre had this injury happened in the preseason example and so you knew going to the. SEASON, the two primary ball carriers for the colts we're going to be Jonathan Taylor Naim hines Jonathan Taylor would have gone as a top fifteen running back. He would have he would have been there would have been arguments about who's the top rookie? Is it C. H. or Jonathan Taylor I think it still would have been seeing each agreed actually would have been a conversation because again we know how run heavy we think the colts want to be we love that offensive line. Obviously yesterday was kind of a weird game for the colts I think they got. In shooed how men shoot I liked that. I like that very much and they did they did get jude but honestly look, this is an offense that is going to. Run, the ball and run the ball effectively, and so Taylor who was. Great in college. And the only downside to his fantasy value was, of course, the presence of Marlon Mac and with that removed for the year. Jonathan Taylor I think is right there in that Todd Gurley. David. Johnson. Melvin Gordon kind of that fourteen to sixteen range I would put remote hurt there as well now in terms of running backs and Who'd you rather have for the rest of the season right now Jonathan Taylor Nick? Job. I still think nick job. It's a healthy. Conversation I. Mean. That's what I'm talking about here, and in terms of Nineteen Heinz I am sure field he is going to be one of the leaders of your waiver are com tomorrow. That's right. He is maybe number two on my early list of waiver ads guy who had fifteen touches for seventy three yards and two touchdowns pass catcher. We knew that pass catcher heavily involved and they gave him more looks in the Red Zone was interesting again, think. About Philip rivers who loves having a pass catching running back in the red zone with him to dump off and somebody they trust in pass protection so I think Naim. Heinz will be more than just a third down back going forward a pair of stars yesterday did not have very star like efforts and they also got banged up to find. We think it's more about just bad days. But what do you know about both Michael Thomas in George Kiddle? Michael Thomas gets injured when it's teammate Alvin Kamara. Rolls up on his ankle but apparently. He. Wasn't letting people examine it later in the locker kind of avoiding getting looked at, he did walk off the field on his own I mean these are initially good signs. Right. But until you know more detail, you really don't know the severity and George Kibble had a left knee issue the peer to hyper extend it. As Shanna Hanson after you know they don't tell him much about the injury at the time they told him he was good to go in the second half so they allowed him to play. But if you're watching game, he just wasn't the same guy in the second half remember last year he hyper extended the same knee and it was problematic for him off and on throughout the season he is going to get it examined today I'm told they don't think it's anything major structurally, but we will have further information after he gets looked at today by his own account. George Beatles says after the game I feel fantastic. Now that's a player in they're not. Doctors freezing. So let's let's let's be clear here Matthew both Michael Thomas and we need a lot more information on either of these. Before we get super concerned the most concerning part is just that you counted on them being potentially the best player in your lineup this week and especially Michael Thomas was not that one hundred, forty, nine gadgets. Last year he had three I, seventeen years yesterday it didn't matter. They still took care too early to hit the panic button on either guy I will say that an all football players are tough I mean let's face it hangnails and I'm like, Oh, I don't know if I can come to the show today but. George Kettle is among the toughest of the tough yet if anyone can gut through it, it'll be George. Kettle and has for Michael Thomas, he's been so good for so long I. You know I know they have the the addition of Emmanuel Sanders I guess, I'm just not word yet. It's one game. Let's let's keep an eye on these injuries of get more information but for now, things looking like they'll bounce back just fine to devante Parker for.

"Get some strength back. I'm kind of fading coming down the stretch with. It's going to be a big thing. Yeah, especially as we get into the fall, it's probably more of a thing now because it's so hot where he's losing water weight and he's and he's struggling to. To workout as much just because he's exerting more more energy on course, but but yeah, I mean it's definitely going to be something where. He needs to take every few weeks off well. I WANNA. I meant to look this up. There was a report somewhere in an Irish. Newspaper I believe a He just started floating the question about all the intake. Bryson has had and the two questions that are out there that I believe he proposed. Forgive me I don't have the name in front of me. Was Has Bryson been tested for. has there been a drug test since he's come back? As the tour, just shifted their focus to cove it and to like. What kind of drug because that's the other thing like from drug perspective, right? Testing for what these guys would be using, no and rory has said in the past like I know I. Take Hgh if I wanted to and not be detected and stuff like that, but the other thing is the hotness of the driver. Are they still testing equipment I? Haven't heard anything on that and they're not letting much media on site to ask people these questions, so it's or Equipment, guys either right? There's not a whole I mean there. There's a few you know. It's not the full staffs and everything like that. I doubt the testers are essential personnel. Yep, sorry, so I found the name and I regret finally I. Don't know how to say it but Malachy clerking in its from the Irish times and the question just D- Chambas. Transformation raises questions, but who will ask them so I think it's important to phrase it that way like just look. Let's get some answers to these questions. No one is saying Bryson you're on steroids Blah Blah Blah. I've seen a lot of the jokes. kind of role is that, but I, also like yeah, that's the reason why you test. To me answers to those questions also yeah from a behavioral perspective. You know I mean. Our friend Latimer from the program. He was Roy drive his mind, and he was freaking out on people. You know like there's some anger things along steroids. Tony Female now hit two hundred six ball speed in a twitter video so. Outweighed the fact that he shot fifty nine yeah, bogey bogey on eighteen or seventeen the last. The last two holes in one over fourteen hundred through sixteen, Fifty nine at his home. Course, which maybe you know. Maybe he's not a killer. What? What do we think about some of the lines that Bryson's GonNa take at memorial well, the one that Phil took what was out on the front nine. That Phil took the day. Did he go way left on three, so it's just. Five. Five is five and seven of the par fives on the front on so what I I was born A. Funny thing to do is pull up Google. Earth of golf courses and see what the three thirty two three fifty carries are that Brian could consider considering you know on the very variant winds so Roy. Sabbatini played number three. which if you don't know a number? Three at Muirfield village looks like it is just a very obvious iron off the tee Tua Fairway, and then it goes back across pond to the left. Rory hits what I believed to be driver. Up near four t to just avoid the water overall and I. Guess Chipper, top that Hill. He made Birdie when he he made bogey and round four when he did it but on. Friday he did it and made Birdie so bryce three thirty something Kerry to the front of that Green. Now! It's a very narrow green at the very front. It's I don't know something like fifteen yards wide I doubt. That that's possibility so Mickelson on five round to. The corner hit one three, sixty eight. The right rough had a hundred and thirteen yards, really on fire, which is on five, five, hundred thirty are Dogleg, right par-five with creek, running all the way up the left side, right? And I guess he was talking to some guys on the putting green. When they restarted I think. About News, Dude Holy Crap. Like I took it. Over houses and stuff. that. I didn't think about that line because Bryson. I thought embracing my that second fairway on five. which yeah e-, even if the teaser back on fourteen could we see him? Take driver and try to dry fourteen. It's going to be interesting. None of the bunkers earn platform, I? There's one on seventeen. That's like three twenty five. Kerry but I used to play down, Lynn. He can hit three. Would that probably if he wants to do so I? THINK WE We skipped over like brooks down. Just stick was what how many over this week through? His first nine he started on the back, five overshot, forty, four, forty, one on on on the front nine, like yeah, with with bogeys on both the par fives on his front nine statistically. He was hitting forty forty two percent of the fairways in his first round. Sixty one percent of Greens didn't Putt well and then. Don't see any stats for a second round so yeah. I mean I. Don't know what it seemed like. He played better shot sixty nine second round. So are we concerned at all about him? He's not out of the playoff bubble right now. I mean he's fifty six, which is a weird weird conversation to have I mean it is not been not been a good year, and I don't know we're. We're late in the season, and this is not necessarily code related. I don't know how many how exactly how many starts he's had this year, but it's not. You should not be this far out I. AM surprised to see him adding this week. It seems like a little bit of. A. In the lot his quotes on it to a little bit on Brooks, like like yeah I'm trying to get in the playoffs and I need this and all that and like e like a guess, minister is a better venue for them, but it just seems like all right like put all your eggs in the basket of. Playing well there and one or two other places Memphis. Got Nine starts to this year for the whole year is best finish. He finish seventh at Heritage Yeah. I don't know it's going to be. It's going to be a dash. She's GonNa play five weeks in a row. I think leading this which I mean if you had all this time off though you should. That's understandable I guess so. Moving on Oh and then, and then yeah so Brooke embracing Yeah, so I don't think it's even a possibility to pair them together this week, so share this I. Hadn't thought of this so Brousseau Brooks's caddy, unless unless ricky, Elliott, Brooks's Caddy, great player in his own right great players on right great guy He tested positive a few weeks ago for the COVID, May and I guess he's still still having some trouble. It seemed like that was an issue. This week with a few guys would previously tested positive Watney for tally. WHO's the other one? Nick Taylor Nick. No, no Taylor was coming coming back south of a layoff, but but he was still I thought he was testing..

"Father's? Where's my grill I? Always say to my kids. Just what I went I don't fight I want a peaceful and actually I have that you don't want him. Fathers Go away for a day. Let me. Just read a book here quietly. which is sort of what they got me with with the Hammock, but you know enough about the DADS. Let's talk about us for a minute time that time. This is our books episode and I want to know from each of us. What is our reading life? We actually I. Don't think ever talk about this. We never just check in and say what are you? You watching. What are you reading? What are you eating like? What is the stuff of our daily existence? In honor of the authors that we have on today? I'd like to know from you Stephanie. Taylor Nick. What is your life like right now? So right now I think is a very different question. Right like usually I'm reading a bunch of books for this show a lot of books for the events. Where interview author so I'm usually I usually have a lot of reading all of it like schoolwork. You know what I mean like all of it like things. I'm doing for a purpose of Sanjoy those books as well but I'm not I'm not doing a lot of non work. Related Reading, which means I'm reading a lot of Jewish books. I think it's the takeaway, but to be honest. These last few months I have found it very difficult to read to sort of keep sustained attention focused on a page. Page of words I've been doing a lot of audible. I got an audible account, and I've been listening to books because I've had so much trouble reading that I'm like you know I. I actually really stopped listening to podcasts as well like I don't really listen to many news podcasts anymore. Sort of really shifted my listening snow. All my listening is mostly to books, and then I don't know if.

"As ever by tablet deputy editor Stephanie. Hello and the editor at large, Liebowitz still large still and still large still editing this week. Our version of a summer reading guide we share three author interviews. All of them recorded long ago anytime in place far far away, but all still wonderful an all still about books that I highly recommend to you to take the socially distanced poolside or to read in your basement or Or wherever three options okay, I spoke on the phone with Daniel. Day author of the novel Boomer One boomer one is about the overthrow of the boomer generation. It's kind of dystopia novel that has to do with young people deciding that the old people aren't retiring fast enough. Also Stephanie had conversation with Sarah Revise, Stein author family papers a Sephardic journey through the twentieth century. And Leo and together sat down with David Sacks and talked about his previous book, the revenge of analog, which is one of my all time top five favorite. As well as David's new book, the Soul of an entrepreneur. But before we get to those, and before we get to news of the Jews and to some updates on our own lives I. Do want to touch base with with both of you about last week's episode where we talked about the death of George, Floyd and others, and tried to figure out where we stood in the current chaotic world, and the Justice seeking world in which we live Leo Stephanie any thoughts This Week. Yeah I was really moved by the response. We got some of the feedback. Feedback that we got and the things that really moved me the most where people who said you know the episode wasn't perfect, but you guys are really were honest, and what we're seeing is that you know were now in conversation with our listeners in a really interesting way where they can now respond to specific things we've said, and we could get into this dialogue and that's something. I'm really excited about. I am to so many conversations these days, especially about these topics are just shouting matches and sort. Sort of seen predicated just to get the other side to shut up or agree with everything you say, and when I looked at some of the feedback that we received, it was so incredibly gratifying to me to see how wonderfully thoughtful and engaging it was there a lot of people out there who disagreed with a lot of what I said a lot of what mark you said a lot of what Stephanie said, but he did it in a way. That seemed designed not to end the conversation, but But really to prolong it, and to get it to the depths, and the profundity that it needs to go to I I really feel J. Crew, we, we love you guys I echo everything that you guys are saying Leland Stephanie and so I have a multitude of thank you. I'm really just filled with gratitude, and we'll get why in a second we'll be talking about Fathers Day, but I the gratitude to the J. crew for being so engaged and so responsive so thoughtful and caring in their feedback. And so how was father's Day? I'll just say quickly on father's Day. They bought me the best presence in the world and I. It says so much about Oppenheimer, dumb I was given a bow tie with little dogs on it. A doggy bill tie. So. You guys have met before the. Bowtie a doggy t shirt and I got me a little stuffed dog. That's wearing a shirt that says I love you to the moon and back. We're still trying to name that dog. If the J. crew is any recommendations for the name of my new stuff of Hebrew English. Let's assume the dogs. Becoming a Jew by choice has to go in the MIKVA. Pick a Jewish name, but also collectively they've got together and bought me a tree hammock. This amazing like parachute material hammock that you. You hang from a tree, and I put it between two trees in my backyard, six feet off the ground, and bought a step ladder to get up to it, and I can now lie. They're suspended above the chaos together with your friend Huckleberry Finn just finished painting the events. So happy I, the Best Fathers Day we went to the beach. We got ice cream at bishop's Orchard creamery out in Guilford. I am so lucky. It was a privilege to be alive on Father's Day Giulio. It's still weird for me. Because father's Day is literally the one thing that never made it to Israel, there are right now. Thanksgiving Day celebrations in Israel from people who'd seen Thanksgiving on TV and want to do the same thing either literally worth of July. Fourth of July an investor by the way, the temperature in Israel's like eighty-three degrees. They're doing Turkey and everything. Not Father's Day waiting. It's to everyone seems like. What do you mean you celebrate the father? Why does the father needs elaboration he'd do? His work is a man. What is wrong with you, so we is their mother's Day. No, we have mother's Day. Mothers are sacred and special. Wow, but DADS dads get nothing my fath-, his avation was was incredible Lisa made a terrific lunch. We all went out for ice cream but the thing that overshadows everything these days since I'm now here in the country. Is the Little Webber Grill that I bought at the local hardware store and cannot take my hands off of I. AM grilling like a maniac I'm like grilling vegetables I'm grilling eggs like I'm doing everything on the group. We're not talking about like that pod. Let Egg thing odor. No, no, we're! We're talking. Fire See I'm standing there for about an hour a day and I'm staring at flames and I can feel my entire Cavalieri. Cavalieri being reduced to just sort of like two words like fire, good and mark. You're not a grow diary so I was GonNa? Say this. Is You know in some ways I'm stereotypically male like I do like sports, and like arguing and man's planning and man's spreading. It's called marks sparking, and it predates all of us, but new part of me wants to stand outside at the grill so when the temple is rebuilt. On the Temple Mount I'm going to be the one with the burnt offerings, and you feel like singing songs. We'll say having been completely excluded from the entire conversation until now I will chime in the I. Do like to Grill do i. find it very satisfying I. Think it's really a lot of fun to see something. Go from one thing to another thing entirely so when templates rebuilt. Maybe I will be there doing the burnt offerings. I support that wholeheartedly what I WanNa know though seventy is. We're not gonNA. Let you off. The father's Day Hook that easily because. You are neither father, nor Mary to a father or a day. You have the best relationship. Any human being has ever had with her father. Totally friction lists no neurosis, perfectly seamless parental relations, and what a father he is! What does a woman like? You do for a dad like Howard, so? How he be the man, a legend get a MacArthur fellowship, but he's his line has always been like every day. Father's Day I don't think he's kidding but I think that's like we're not really home arche as a family. You know we'll do something for others. It mostly is like we'll all go out to my parents house for for the day and sort of more day to celebrate, but I will say that I I saw. Saw My father last weekend, and then this weekend on father's. Day actually saw my father in law, but it was all cleared alcocer. I got the proper dispensation We'll see my father next weekend, but yeah I think I think growing up without the pressure on those holidays was really healthy. Yeah, my parents were very low pressure about it too I mean we i. don't know that anyone's like. What are you getting me for father's? Where's my grill I? Always say to my kids. Just what I went I don't fight I want a peaceful and actually I have that you don't want him. Fathers Go away for a day. Let me. "When I bring this stuff up. I don't want people to think that I'm taking a stand. Just giving a cop and playing devil's advocate. I don't think anyone does the way talk to be like. I felt like that. So just bring it up just both of you. I just wanted to bring that up like you know. Lamar Jackson the dumbest. I've said a lot of stupid things but I think the dumbest thing I ever said was that I thought. Rg Three was gonNA being better than Andrew. Luck and you know. I think it was fairly reasonable but ended up being absolutely more. So Lamar Jackson feel that bad about that one. Rg Three got hurt either. Murray could get hurt to where he's got he's a little guy that's going to run a lot as well good. Rg Three this. Is it work? Yeah it was amazing. Can you could tell that. He was starting to break down toward the end of that year. Basically he was taking hits and he was slow to get up and he wasn't moving quite the same way and it's not like like if you missed out on an reluctant dynasty you missed. I don't like two good years. Okay I'm sorry for sidetracking here from Tyler I currently have James Conner and Chris Carson in full PR dynasty. I already have picked one one point. Five and one point eleven. I'm excited about the class. Might consider trading the aforementioned running backs for more picks connor and Carson. He's saying he wants to trade for more picks. Is this big brain move or am I sabotaging myself my other? Running backs are Brita. And Coleman exactly the type of movie should make every year and I know like he kinda disagree but running backs are depreciating assets. These guys are both twenty five. They are never going to have more value than they have right now. The even if they come back and both good years this year they're going to be twenty six year old running backs and they're gonna be twenty-seven-year-old running backs knowing trades a lot of value for an aging running back. It just doesn't happen in dynasty leads. Yes they can help you win now but this is the type of move that I that I make all the time and dynasty. I think it's the smart. I don't believe like that. There is a huge market for maybe James. Connors traps will help this. But I don't believe there's a huge market for Connor or Carson in dynasty. They're both viewed as guys pretty fragile futures. Yes I'm not dealing those guys for a second round picks and I don't think you're getting picked better than one point eleven if you could package. Carson one point eleven for a top six. Pick than yeah do it if you could package connor and one point eleven for a top four picked. Insure do it. But I'm not trading those guys for second round picks. Maybe I don't know if ben was saying that he would or not but I don't think you can get a first rounder for no. I think that was a very reasonable level. Headed response actually do all right so we got three more. Have three more these apple podcasts questions? First One's going day second one's going to heath third one's GonNa ben from medic. Nick I'm taking over a team with Zeke Josh Jacobs Aaron Jones and Kyle Murray in half PBR. Which three should I keep? You have to throw back one day. Zeke Jacobs Aaron Jones and Cuyler all throwback cuyler this is heath from cage. Am One thousand nine hundred. Seventy eight half PR. Four point per passing touchdown League Josh. Jacobson the third or Lamar Jackson and the eighth. I've got to take Lorge X. asked from Lewis north of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. It's Newcastle He. Explains Hey Johnny Steve Chris and Bam. Guess we could say oh. Yeah we already said Shits Creek. I think we can jackass. I was on the clock at one point. Three in the rookie draft and Clyde Edwards was there we lead into your bike to say he whispered. It's softening in our ears. Hey real quick. What's your instagram account? If people wanted to follow what you do in your life eats meat. Heath's meet thank you. Okay so Ben. Lewis was on the clock at one point three in the rookie draft Clyde Edwards deal. Was there all of a sudden? I got a notification for a trade. Which was my one point. Three twenty one. Second Rounder and Kenyan Drake and I would get his twenty twenty his twenty twenty one. Second Rounder and Christian. Mccaffrey and I took it that. I make a good move. Yeah Yeah you did the swapping of twenty twenty one seconds. Whatever value think is there isn't and I would trade McCaffrey for the window. Three INDRE for sure. Right I would acquire McCaffrey senator. Now it's time for emails a fantasy football. Cbs DOT COM dynasty emails. David Flint's wants to know. Is there a smart way to start a startup dynasty team? Oh sorry is there a smart way draft a startup dynasty team? When you have rookies involved hearing a lot about rookies being drafted separately from veterans however the dynasty started on is doing a draft with everyone in the pool and being on the last play being on the last place team for picking I have the eighth pick out of eight. I'm wondering when it would be smart draft Clyde Edwards e layer or another rookie. Okay well first of all that is that is how the startup drafts include everyone. Then the subsequent drafts year after year. Just the Roy's broadly draft Over Labor. Broadly rookies start. Drafts are profitable moves. They typically go Later than people expect they hold their value. Even if they have court rookie seasons they can be more productive in your one than people. Give them credit for and even if they're bad you can like like I said they hold their value unless they're horrible unless they're gonNA kill Harry than they lose value or. Jj Sega whiteside even guys that are poor like David Montgomery is still. You can still trade him. This offseason for plenty of is Ronald Jones. An example of that yet he'd been example of the guy that lawsuit on the by. Okay I'M GONNA use it was zero. Yes but there are also up right like Aj Brown last last year. You probably draft in the ninth. I'M GONNA I'm GonNa read something just going to read just for the benefit of our listeners. Startup draft did a few weeks ago. Startup Dynasty League heath was this super flexibly. Believe it was right. Yep Okay here was. Just the first two outs. Mccaffrey Barclay. Kamara Zeke mixing Michael. Thomas Dalvin Cook Mile Sanders Clyde Edwards dealer ninth overall to me for some reason Let makes its Davante Adams. Patrick Mahomes tyreek Hill. Chris Godwin Hopkins Juju Josh Jacobs Jonathan Taylor Nick Chubb Lamar Jackson. Jk Dobbins Mike Evans Kenyan Drake Dj more and Calorie hope that helps from Nick Gray the trade in a twelve team. P R Dynasty League gave up just in Jefferson and Emmanuel Sanders received. Michael Gallup and name Heinz..

Clyde Edwards Mccaffrey Barclay Lamar Jackson Chris Carson Rg Three connor Dynasty League Heath P R Dynasty League ben James Conner Nick Gray Kyle Murray Lewis Kamara Zeke Jonathan Taylor Nick Chubb Lam Brita Zeke Jacobs Zeke Josh Jacobs Andrew

"More. Now I think most of us think of Adam Gates is kind of this weird dude. But enlisted sometimes, we're biased when we know someone, so I'm not saying I if Peyton, Manning says guys legit I'm going to take what he says at face value, but sometimes you can be too close to someone to not see some of his. some of the issues that he may have as a coach as a person whatever he does. But I do know enough people that have been around Adam this as really bright. When it comes to offense now there's more just being the offensive coordinator when you're the head coach, but if he can figure just somehow to be a head coach, he can, he should be able to call plays and help Sam. darnold out, so Sam darnold Jonathan Taylor Nick Bosa Baker, Mayfield Andrew. Lock are the five guys that I'm looking for to watch this fall. Okay, let's hit a couple of quick stories before we dive into the middlekauff mailbag one thing making the rounds this week. Is that the NFL? I don't know if this was proposed or Florio just threw that out. There might make player sign a waiver because of Corona. Here's what I know and I talked about it on Monday show is that the players because of the financial incentive are going to? Have much more reason to come back. Their. Careers are much shorter than baseball indefinitely basketball they're GONNA play this fall if given the option. Into I don't know one person I. Don't know anyone with Corona I. Don't know anyone that's got chrome now. I know a lot of people that think they've gotten corona because I know. At least in California the La Times have written about this. We've had it here since the fall. Young people that I know are not only not scared of the corona are getting to the point now. Are they think it's kind of ridiculous? Enter terrified financially. So to think that NFL players would not be comfortable signing a waiver that if they got corona the NFL's fault, they play football every Sunday. Where Alex Smith had an injury. That was so bad they put him with wounded warriors who had limbs blown off? We see bones shattered. We see ribs broken. We see knees ripped we. See shoulders torn apart. The NFL player. Baseball where. Tommy John You go to Dr James Andrews in your hundred million dollar contract is on faced. This is not basketball where you live in fairy, tale, land and everyone, the average salary seven million dollars. This is sport that on any given year your career could end than in any given year you can just be cut Larry Warford. "The week hearing Callie we're talking golf welcome back I'm Jim Rome we're joined right now by PGA tour pro he is thirteenth in FedEx Cup standings right now in the standings winner of the twenty ten Ben Hogan award water Washington he is a two time winner on Tor he shot a to wonder on Sunday to win the pebble beach program we are joined right now by Nick Taylor Nick it's good to have you on how are you I'm great thanks very on that this in NYC good to have you on has it sunk in yet you went wire to wire pebble beach has that sunk in yet no I don't think it has I think my wife and I keep looking at each other being down what where are we what's going on the support from Canada you know when we quoted an overwhelming the store not but upon arrival yeah we just yeah yeah by that go head neck no we don't regret no you go ahead you just want to double beach yeah I've been you know we drove down yesterday you know talking a lot of Canadian media everyone's so excited about comics every time I feel like myself and you can get the contention the support from back home and it's amazing there's this thing off and everywhere such a but a popular sport bank Canada so it's been it's been their overwhelming support and it definitely had backing up but yeah it's getting closer I did not mean to you so the reason I jumped in I was gonna say that we've got some listeners at some stations in Canada but I know really excited about that so I mentioned you went wire to wire to win there can you take me back before the first round how were you feeling at that point did you have a feeling that you might do something special last week from here on a game of the season and really for the last year so I've always loved determine who oppose courses that are well from my game and playing moderated the first day it is typically the lords of the scores and I thought that you know we got the good start that up the place to do it on one wall I actually reply proctor moderate causes three courses in just the concerts and energy and quite a get off the hawks third eagle first call on way great the rest that day and kept on going but I thought my game has been good you know I I didn't you have a great finish that the waste matter the week before but I course within that that Walgreens because that wasn't the taken many negatives from that it was moving on to the next week so you know the game was there is is kind of making if you pop the right time and definitely started early on Thursday he did so early on I was gonna say you do not wait very long because you open up that eagle on ten what's going through you when you get off to that quickly start Iraqi person about golf course that you know that there's a lot of gravel par fives if if the courts for if you can get off to a good start there there's a lot of opportunities I defy great the whole week that they're making good cop not first nine and I think I was there for under that first night in it's got the wrong one I felt like it is but it's also come from the greens forever reason last week even when they're you know polenta green can get will bumpy for a reason I carry your own hours reading greens great second line and the ball the ball going and so is the service mark we need Taylor joining us sing together two shot lead after the first day but then a lot of times guys get a lead on the first day then they go back to go to sleep they come back the next day it all falls apart yeah that's not what happened you playing really well and then you still the leader going to Sunday and you're going out with Jason day in the group in front of you and Phil Mickelson as the pairing the final group so what kind of emotions were you feeling as you walk up and went through the routine on Sunday yeah I I would be great Sunday night which I kind of expected I think you know having the lead for three straight days this kind of it can be exhausting to a certain extent but I I feel like I've always been more nervous with the anticipation of you know fine around in that situation so once I really start warming up my third feel more comfortable in you know one three teed off after kind of get the first you jitters I felt pretty comfortable again I made the critical part the really kind of calm down I had about a sixty cent river part of her soul that you know what to make that I think with with you can call me not to kind of give that lead away on the first hole and it up at a great start Phil and I were thanks three four under what about the six fold I think we just from then on we're kind of separate ourselves from that the field almost automatically takes Maryland it was kind of nice that way that I really don't have to worry about kind of what feels doing and not worry about the groups have us and its focus on what I was doing but also what you're doing and keep it simple he it's the it's interesting to me because the way was all position right that final star headline was Canada's Taylor in Mickelson's way at pebble beach which is set to he summed up the idea that everybody expected Phil to win it was a matter of how he was going to win and then you go out in thirty two what were the first nine holes like for you yeah I would it was actually pretty funny we are we are breaking the underdog roll over the loan with gas from him thirty that from the other words there's a future there was from probably my family and that was about it was very very pro fell you know I wanna be disrespect mining but they just they want to sell them and to win and I expected up I think it was it was fun to kind of be in that that arena of that of of being the underdog it's not that I just let her go to fill those just because I'm not way and I think building not lead to feel even myself I was almost you could take a step back and you have to almost look at it you have a five shot lead all the sun I think sometimes you can get out of out of sorts wheel but put the I managed it once we got to fifteen likely in and held on to talk any Taylor for a few more moments cynic me ask you this how would you compare the pressure of playing in the final round of for instance the regular season finale in order to keep your card versus the pressure of the back nine a pebble beach with Phil Mickelson to get a win yeah I I drew back on around at Wyndham a couple years ago a lot it was it's it's it's both high pressure but different scenario the felt like almost I was more nervous than had more pressure for that went around because that would keep your job were Sunday was you know that a great spot I thought I was in a good position to have a great week regardless but I get different pressure but I think once I thought the most pressure probably want to have a five shot lead and let it slip that you show your not your thoughts going through your mind that you know you lose that lead in and out when that will be on this wall so deliver pressure that it definitely drop back on that and use those five then you add that the pull through Windham helped me over from there a couple quick things for you got a couple of big things like your wife and he was not able to be with you if your first win because she was working this time she was there with you and your three month old son Charlie what it needed to share that moment with them you're a veteran country on the first when I felt like with the whirlwind and without her there was with unfortunate but it was crazy about your last year we had at the Q. social worker an awful still as a house or live kind of full ship with her line of for her to be there you know you see on TV are not family come of the green with the with the turnout provide the kind of for us to have that perspective now about that should be the one you know or will remember forever Charlie won't but of Texas is the he Nick that's a pretty nice paycheck for a nice week of work what did you guys how did you celebrate which you have for dinner so after you know a bunch of the obligations we we're so he's off the remote we have a rental house and set the grow with my in laws in order a couple domino's pizza is killed out in the pretty much at the pre Loki run a we go to friends nine hundred and it's not really but it was pretty lucky I love it all right last night it opens up the possibility of playing in the Olympics or the presidents Cup how much is that far yup big time you know the one six we're huge online last year so when we got closer to it and you know growing up there wasn't it was in reality and now that it is I think that would be a once in a lifetime experience I heard so much from her friend of mine at a play and then just build sports being able to go it should think of incredible the river this myself will better than but I want to have that opportunity some looking for that on your present covered now couple years away but that that's not a huge goal so the huge you're stuck on one without wearing thanks a lot the big week shot to wonder on Sunday when the pebble beach program a two time winner on tour now as I mentioned the winner of the twenty ten Ben Hogan award one Washington in NYC Taylor my guess they can grass on the wind great to have you on the show and I really appreciate that visit are coming out of thank you Nick nice to talk to you Nick Taylor wire to wire wires the field and beats the crowd favorite Phil Mickelson the process a great win for him you know I I didn't lay it out but I mentioned it we just reset this really quickly if we were to go back a little bit he'd once more before but it had been a little bit and he had been in some pressure situations he went in twenty eighteen into the regular season finale ranked one hundred twenty ninth here to be showing just to keep the store card whether messed with the schedule he had a tough triple bogey one point and the final round he shot a sixty three to keep store card which is why I asked the question what was more pressure playing in that final round to keep your car to keep your job or plan to beat Phil Mickelson when a pebble beach a city action was able to draw on that day and went on so looking ahead to our to to right now Chasen lock in for a will be joining us I want to talk more about Philip rivers charger fans like it's not surprising but still kind of weird right it's still kind of surreal it's still kind of bizarre it just is strange to imagine Philip rivers in somebody else's uniform I think there's a really good chance that is going to happen he wants to play he's gonna have some opportunities I think you will see him play again now if the right opportunity as a present itself I could easily seen retiring you ultimately wants to be a high school coach a few years.

"And I presume that Spiderman three seven eight whatever it is presumed that will finish was in a similar way with someone saying what the fun and being cut off. Maybe the let them finish it makes timeline of those the last movie The last movie as Peter Parker jobs and f-bomb thoughts. So what do we think we we're all happy with that. I mean I swear to God. I said this is the John Wasn't view but a few weeks ago I drafted a tweet sane which non Marvel Marvel Studios Marvel character from from a previous marvel film. Would you drop into the M._C.. You might choice B J Jonah Jameson by J. K. Simmons on. I don't think I ever sent it and if I had I would look like I had some inside Info which I did not a huge surprise me but I think that's an amazing amazing moment but it also sets up a huge revelation which is Peter's secret. Identity has been disclosed to the world yeah. I'm well okay. They have a go it close fake news. No the the other post credits thing squirrel scrolls they can have spiderman do something Spiderman e right next to Peter Parker if they want to put up genie back in the ball like Christina Aguilera next five minutes of the movie okay they could do or even like at the end the next movie inner everything is going on. I always under seige and then finally at some point in the movie Oh look we've got one in a spider vitamin costume if he does something you'd have to do some Bud Ronnie stuff run or or you can get you know drafting Avenger because somebody can scrolls replicate powers. I'm trying to remember now but you don't need them to replicate Pars. You need them to replicates Peter Parker <hes> you threw out of jail card immediately in the back pocket. If they want to use it did because it implies that they're planning something with this present and it would be a massive massive shift. Yeah I mean it's happened a few times in the comics. short-term as people seem to forget very quickly doctor strange waves his hand everybody or or something like that yeah so it might be something worth playing with. I I suppose but it does it throws everything into data throws. M._J.'s not only relationship with Peter but also safety up air throws his entire school up in the air in his entire education up in the air is no one but me thinking of this minds grades in college applications patients come on. I think it's too soon I think they're going to put the genie back in bow but at the same time I think they are at the same time. I'm kind of glad that did it because they didn't have. I still have major questions about everybody around pizza not figuring it out felt in this movie because there are some sequences whereas just too silly like physics that the sequence when he's I mean everybody looks except every single person. Are you serious. I would look for the baby. Mount Zion assessing and Helen has proven that you know that very fluffy the count is will actually send him pictures heavy map and goes to show him with liquor those at the same time there's that does the whole escapade in the Netherlands with the whole night monkey and despite a mosque and you know silly that there's plenty of evidence for people to figure it out in this. It's not just done is that by the end of this movie even if he hasn't been out of the world by j.j Jamison there are by my rough conservative estimate four hundred seventy five people who know that Peter Parker is spider man he's literally walking through an entire group of shield and and and you know Nick Fury Taylor Nick Fury says you know take off the mask. Everyone here knows who you are..

"Now, he ends up as his teammate. And then you throw Quincy Williams in the third round a guy from Murray state who I think is an amazing story Myron because Quinn and Williams is brother is arguably the best player in the draft goes to Alabama. And then he ends up at Murray state. And so you think how's that going to work? Your brothers had all this hype. You're at Murray state, and he just goes and has one of the best careers at that school in history one hundred eleven tackles and gets draft in the third round. I pull for that kid for that reason. I just love Myron everything Jacksonville did man. I was trying to go back and think of siblings who were drafted in the top one hundred picks only Tiki and Rondi aga- find draft in the second and third rounds. Ninety seven draft. It's a great story for him. And you bring up John Taylor. Nick foles is being put in this great low risk situation. They want to be a run first team. Nick foles walking into another situation. We've got talent around him. It could be have another outstanding season. But I think Josh Allen as much as we talk about Daniel Jones and that being the wrong pick for the giants. And they should've picked Haskins. I think years from now we'll look back and go. No, you should have grabbed Josh Allen. Because that to me was guaranteed talent. You have had and that will be the big mistake. And that's how will you Daniel Jones and the number six pick because I think Josh talent is the perfect NFL versatile athlete in twenty nineteen like that guy is going to make plays and be a great player is Jeff because of Kentucky. But Josh Allen to me is everything you would want. Do you agree? They messed up those teams writers. Maybe not Tampa Bay, but writers and New York from not picking him the raiders, I I didn't really mind the overreach. I mean, they clearly wanted to treat out of four and they just couldn't find anyone. So take the guy you're like, I mean, if you if you adjusted feral at at eight, I think everyone have been like, yeah, that's fine. Right. But the draft to mid four the giants screwed up last year by not taking Sam darnold. They can have Sam darnold kept Odell and drafted Josh Allen. Instead, they have a running back. That's good. But doesn't really matter very much National Football League Daniel Jones and a nose tackle draft in the second round the corner. They tried out for me. I just I don't the giants are going to regret not drafting Sam darnold one. And then they'd be Josh Allen far down that list because Donald the real deal in my opinion. And Daniel Jones is not and the giants have messed up by not taking them last year. You've heard the good now about the bad. What team's screwed up the first two days. That's next on Dr Email on ESPN radio. That he can say who the good teams are the ones that succeeded in the draft..

"Let's go to Caulton you live. Stephen what's up, buddy? How are you? I'm good with only kept moving the NFL going on every half an hour here stopped paying attention to Jonathan winter haircut. There. I gotta get on him at bought. And by the way, if I'd seen you outta got on you about something to cause. I love you, buddy. So I would have got on you to get on your today. Yes. Rodney Harrison, I hit the nail on the head got probably an Anthony Lynn do what they did last week with raven and actually use that hor defensive lineman seven defensive back alignment on defense quick all of that they will be able to stop James white out of the backfield. And Julian it'll, but and that the two things that that that would allow the patriots to win and thin Bill Bella check packing 'cause I think this might be his last game in the NFL as the patriots head coach and your former co host there on your now competitor network skipping with actually said today that he thinks it could be Bill Bella checks laugh game. We're kind of said yesterday. But anyway, that that's I'm so I'm so disappointing reading that. Maybe Todd both. Now become the defensive coordinator of the bears and not go with Tampa Bay camp. I can Tampa Bay had two three three three things that they need to turn this franchise around with the third one being don't pick up the option for Winston go. Tyrod Taylor, Nick falls or Terry Bridgewater. So you don't have you don't have faith that Bruce areas could turn James Wisden around that guy at the turn of a machine in fifty six games he ate into sections, and I think thirty seven and and even though he was supposedly focusing on that this year, he still couldn't stop doing it. No, I give up on James, especially at the price tag that. He's gonna be this this coming year. So, but I thought I was so excited that balls is coming here. But now the Fangio took the Denver job. Let's like you may reconsider. I gotta tell you. I would reconsider if I were him. I let me tell you up to the only reason I would choose Tampa over Chicago. Because of the weather if I was both. That's the only reason outside of that. I mean if I have an opportunity to coach the Chicago Bears defense held of his his another disincentive for for for. Todd Bowles to take this job. Fangio is a lot to live up to that defense was a leap you can make the argument is nowhere to go. But down if your bowls because of how elite that defense was that coaching young we're at to sixty years old, and and therefore both maybe take over areas it quits after four or five years, usually, I find it. I think it's a little bit difficult. And I think the Browns are gonna find this out. It's one thing when you're the coordinator. But when you transition to becoming the head coach with the same organization you as a coordinator where you play the less more subordinate role with I think sometimes called and that's a bit problematic. So it's gonna be real interesting to see how that works at. I think Denver did it right in terms of going after Fangio who was in Chicago with an impeccable reputation as a defensive coordinator coming over on board in Denver as opposed to promoting from within. I think that might be the way to go. The one thing issue with you on your show today if you said that Aaron design. A coaching Cuiv when you know that. Qualifying from coaching anywhere else. And what black coach could get away with that? I haven't what coach fifty eight and thirty three NFL head coaching. The only guys Tomlin and could get away with. He was on the Martin. Well, first of all one had nothing to do with the other. I was just I was really pointing to the I really would areas. It wasn't really that. For me..
