"Wait. So it's an episode of focused around food and we did not see that much food sponsors. That's just like primo content right there. That's a layup. be on like future. Life right yeah or at least say like hey if you're down and out and you feel like chappie stole your food future. Life gives you the energy that a whole bag of stolen sweets would like. I feel like there's so much food content. There you gotta you gotta just use it to your advantage like i'll product is worth feeling steal it though because it is true. I'm trying to find now. Listen the rules are murky and survivor. They are not in the real world. You steal future life. You will get caught and you get punishment. So that's the tweet gesture being what it is usually good enough to seal dern actually not like survivor where someone else. So it's okay that you saw actually will both be in trouble because that's the legal. So that's the tweet if they could fit that in this modern guarantees. I don't know why you're not tweeting utilize. But it's a very different sponsor landscape when you played steve's steve has gone by is gone which of the cards on a you really drawn to. I think i really like that mahindra. Still in the end. I mean they re greats this episode because they got their car to come on there were call up the reward and they they really sort of showed up for this particular one and then one of the sponsors who's been day since my season the throw the three seasons now and yes. I think i'm all. I'm all about mahindra. That's truly really other mainstays. They've been out sure was there and then came back so they as well like they've been there for a long time but may hindrance really you know never wavered and i really have to take that into account but this week. The best tweet of the entire week was from someone that i've already eliminated from the rash legs. I don't wanna bring them back to this. It was taped union. And they said congratulations choppy. Those muscles put to use muscles as in in quotation union. This is good stuff. That's my heart. Oh man i've so much love for cape union martin. Now damn that's a good one would literally competition with mentioned with mention of the muscle machine. I think it was because they just weren't saying anything about the season. Like i think you said there are a little bit basic and so you're like that people are doing much more flashy vladimir putin and i was like this is the best you can do. Now have this muscle. But i keep bringing people back like kind of want to hold. That was great. Who the best of the episode future lies in the lowest threshold. This was pretty good. They said the ultimate advantage support for your immunity when nicole is reading the descriptions of the fire idle and was like his shady of me. Who was that. I don't like the fire idol. But it's not so disappointing. Nick in his endeavours right saying the ultimate adviser like maybe he should. Maybe he should utilize because clearly something happening over there. Well maybe they mean ultimate in that it is literally the final one right like there are no more advantages after this. It's gonna next round. This is quite literally ultimate advantage. Quite possibly kate union had the lowest over. They said preparing survival when wireless will about taking the rise. That's funny because it's like a warning. This is getting dog. Yeah exactly like oh you don't want to know what happened tribal council. We have the screeners. We know what's happening be warned fans. It's it's it's a warning of the contest is like we really need to prepare survival like it's.

"But i do think that you know times going to heal all wounds. But i think it does help. We talked about this with domino. Wendell right that like the first five people out of the game goes dialing. Didn't really experience a lot of maybe some of that more personal stuff that don was bringing in like they were voting for him whereas the second five people experience more of that so they voted for wendell like it really does depend when you end up going out of the game but i mean something that i am willing to sort of play my flag on in this and maybe it's again. It's wishful thinking. Because i would love love. Love love this season to somehow end with the sentence. Chevy's vinyl too. I feel like it's got Because water finishes her final words by talking about everything with their energy being gone giving the the rice to nicole and then saying hey you know. I don't want any in game played to get into the end but if it does i'm gonna make the most fair decision. This is my edit brain. I feel like that wouldn't be in the edit unless the two of them make it to the end. I don't know. I just feel like if that's the case then i've been going back and forth as to like could sense any actually get we've been talking about the jury goats stuff but could get more votes because of this stuff that chappie is did. I'm not entirely sure until i watched this ponderosa. But that's that's what's been germinating in my brain is i feel like we're getting so much an maybe it's sort of like the way your season ended with these. Two people have the juries. We don have over one of these people really all right. I guess we have to at least one of those people with saving their lives. I think and even think he came out looking really good in this travel. Council like directly uses the idol john. Here she wants to to allowed and she has to win the argument without even stealing food which is a us on but like in terms of the eyes of the jury you know. There's a lot of sides that are arguing here. Like view is looking fully at widened tyson. In this i feel like view is definitely took the side of chappie again because i think they were pretty definitively right here but political for someone like tyson. He's been such a big play. I made huge moves. Like you think that this kind of petty petty. But i think he was desperate. I mean from the voting confessions with kieron ties in wyandotte. They seem to really know that sonson. He's not going with hospital clan to not play her idol. They know that it's done. I think it was just desperation. But does this will really pay for someone to combine travel council and say tyson. Remember when you live doppler media the teacher. that's not gameplay did for the was very pity. I mean the whole the whole beginning. All of this tribal council was pay tv pay compared to actually a playground seen rather than called scene because kids sort of just like going out in china and china tell the teacher something and like teach do something and whatever you do little be in my favor though. It was very pitchy but i think tyson. I really liked tyson. I really like tyson because you know he was one of the people that you know. Change the the game and made sure that things got a little bit more extreme and people's playing a little bit more feisty up but also i think he started getting a bit of a big hit and that's one of the very one. That's a very big and dangerous thing in survivor because survivor needs you to be hungry. It needs you to want to think that you're in danger because it's dangerous things that kick you into survival mode and you know once you get relaxed and complacent and think that everything is going your way you lose a little bit of those those instincts you know those five shells light instinct that allow you to actually get get your head straight and you know strategize in in a great way and this. I think showed really well with the chat santa new move with they felt like they were endangered. This is the time that they need to do something to save their lives and they did it. You know so. So amazingly So you need those instincts. You need those things to keep you on your toes into thinking acuity as possible. I'd wanted to get complacent and think that you know you've got this. You're on top of your game giving the people those who endanger an advantage over you and instinct advantage to say. I should actually been saving myself in doing something. So they didn't do anything because they thought things were going to have been they away as they used to be head and this was just literally like one of those things that they will take away their take his his immunity. Because you know. I d misfit to be so and unfortunately it didn't work that way because that's not how the game works And yeah. I think now we're going to see even better from the likes of of of tyson because now their lives are in danger and they get back. That's feeding flight of light. And you know they really fighting hard to regain the apolo and regain their positions in the game. It's a good point because let's remember that yet. Tyson and cure and had a bit of a rough pre merged did have to play that idol. But really since the dino vote they have always been in the power position. I think like a lot of work. But i think to this point like if you spend two weeks on the top we saw with zomba's at the merge right. Hey i feel comfortable now. Tyson confessional right being like you can't blindside the king of blindsides off with your head always had that that braggadocios nature to him confessionals which i love but i can totally see how in this case right. You feel like open and shut five to when this happens..

"A little bit of a rule breaking place you know. I mean everything. Every game has rules and it's important for the rules to be adhered to. But i don't think that deep to be honest and you know they said themselves is like everybody did something and i think that's what nickel actually showed us so well right after he led them do their thing and you know go out at each other and when he finally got a chance to speak he just really put things in perspective and say what it what it has your role been and everyone has had a row in the same exact way and even though the outcomes with different. There's really nothing i think. Production could have done in terms of if they were going to strip japanese all that immunity does that mean. they were going to strip those who had. Brian gave a run meat of something as well. What were going to be the repercussion of everyone was in the wrong so i think for this one it was right for nico to pass and say yeah. We all played out hut. And we'll go to go especially when it comes to food because food is one of the resources of lab that everyone tries to preserve this as possible. There were similar things that we had done in offseason to even though it wasn't blown out of proportion to this in but i think everybody's always happy with everyone gets to eat something but no one is ever happy when it's only a few people one person eating without them. Yeah i do think like reward feeling is a bit of a like it's not cable is okay saying where production like maybe does encourage you and maybe technically not allowed but they kind of intuit because it encourages contested sneaky and entertaining and it's always been a part of the show you know way back when manila's bringing back like hof eat in men's in my cases like this is a part of the show and clearly liked the contestants who create the culture of the show at set a precedent when this something that's being done and it was done by everyone lost reward so to put it on chappie. You know it feels unfair and in terms of like the dolphins which is to tattle tales. Oh yeah i've i've i've watched i've watched bluish. I've actually just watched an episode where they talk about dobbins like the one piece of australian vernacular gathered right so the difference between dogging to teacher and doddington nico. The host is that nicole is pot of production. He's the host like you've been talking about this on cameras before the immediately challenged like niko knows like production doors. If this was a real problem they would have stripped him of it before the immunity challenge. And we wouldn't even be having this conversation so clearly there okay with it and you don't need to go tell nico guys because you're talking about her on camera. Something that exists in the show that they are completely aware of. You're not giving any new information. He hasn't appeasing at times. Yes so that's this is the thing is that i think this episode to police's point confirms a role that was pretty much like always kind of implicit in survivor across all franchises but hasn't been explicitly stated until this point which is to your point production kind of turning a blind eye to being like well. You know you're not supposed to take stuff but if you want a sneak it back that's fine and look maybe some people feel like i know there certainly has been some stuff coming out this week of like we'll no it was explicitly stated that chapters can't take food from the auction so he should have been punished because he broke a rule. Here's the thing. Survivor is not fair. In many many ways and survivor is also a tv show and no matter who is running the show. Chances are if it's going to produce a fun tv moment production is gonna let it slide even if it is a bit of a rule break as an example. Let's go back to one of the very first things. Russell hands does in his very first season. A rule is you're not allowed to destroy people's personal property. What does he do on night. One burns jas on socks now ordinarily. That could be something that might get. You kicked off the show because again it's a rule break but the show looks at it and it's like this is pretty funny like yeah. This'll this'll suck for j. sawn. But like. I think we're going to let this one slide and i think that's the thing is that while there are maybe hard and fast rules in survivor. There is a bit of wiggle room when it comes to okay whether it's benefiting. Everybody like we saw stealing the bri- bringing back for everyone or if it's for the sake of just like creating entertainment at not a huge detriment to anyone in particular. Then we'll let this happen. And i'm sure you know any survivor. Production and would not want to eject player or strip immunity from a player for a real break. So i think more often than not. You're there have been so many instances where things have happened right. There's rumors about like in survivor. Micronesia james and alexis stuck snuck into a production camp. Of course there's the whole like weasel whoo thing right that he was listening in on confessionals contestants break rules all the time and i hate to break into the dubbers out there but production does not want to punish these people unless the really backed into a corner to do. So i mean they especially. Don't care when it's something like he took his own suites moore award took bribes. Everyone compared to what people like literally break production to this is nothing so you do whatever you want why it takes the rise if she gets tribe riots. She gets voted off the riots rice. That sucks but he just stole from them like invented going ahead with strategy of book. They've been voted out. She would've taken the clinton would flynn and they would have had to deal with that. But that's part of the game in part of the entertainment of the tv product. And that's what makes it really interesting. And i do think you know i went on to win. A world podcast. A couple of weeks ago said tribal can be a little boring. What are we here for. It's all just you know this. This was really fun. This was great theater. Theater is usually like it's so entertaining and there was a lot of positive palesa. What did you make wireless feeling the rise. Chevy's larry larry ously replaces it with sand now. She's mad she a fan of the riot that she stole but she thinks i think there's a lot of how are you gonna breaking down that others feeling at.

"Polluters dot exposed. Hello everyone shannon. Gothia getting you ready for a week. Twelve recap an exit interview with the virus africa. Immunity island micronized queen palesa. And that's for around two hours and fourteen minutes and then of that. Mike spoke to wide on the exit interview. So if you enjoy all the loud. And i will see you on the other side australia. Ordinary australia did one billion pounds. Took hello everyone and welcome to our coverage of virus. Africa immunity island. I'm shannon garcia to discuss episode twelve of the season. And what a dramatic desert. It was people loved it across the board. Which is really fun. Think you brought a lot of joy. A lot of humor. And as i said a lot of drama so to talk about it i have two great people on the line with me. Please welcome the ceiling to my contestants season. It's too great mike blue. Yeah and nobody can call me out because everyone is doing. In that regard shannon. My birthday was this past thursday and i say it with full sincerity. I could not have thought of a better gift than not only my favorite episode of the season. Not only one of my favorites survivor episodes in a while. But maybe one of my favorite tribal councils of all time. I am so excited. The episode was for lack of a better term delicious. And i'm excited for a second taste was saying the gift the split gift to you that juralbel shout down on that was birth. If i ever heard it yes. The drought shout. I love it well because you know not to take too much away belabor the point but if you remember back during our preseason interviews i do believe ironically enough. It was during the conversation with wardha where the question was like. Oh would you rather get voted out pre merge or like derail the end to get zero votes so maybe that seed was planted and it grew and grew until wardha at her breaking point decided to invoke his name once more. I'm glad i left that in. It makes little sense. That germinated from there and it came out explosively. This council like a lot of things were happening at the tribal council but we have somewhat. It's a great week where we're going to talk about this endgame and the jury and everything. We have a lot of questions for this guest. He is a staff philippines. Who's legendary literally change the winners at war. It is great plus a towel. Listen thank you guys hi shannon. Hi mike thank you so much we invite to me. I am excited. Yeah you came for a great episode but we haven't spoken to you in two years since the the loss of african season. So that's a big two years again. I wanna get your take on the winners. The wall stuff but how venison then been grades. I mean you know everything. Taken into account at the last time we spoke there was no pen. David never got like the either that. I've been really good and yeah enjoying this season so much but i enjoy every season. So hey yeah. I mean okay. So the big thing that happens. Is we lost. Few surviving universe. Is that adam klein wash your season. He thought that the podium had an idol. Much like you did. He was calling it the palesa idle in confessionals and because he went to take that podium idol which wasn't a podium idle you know changed the cause of that season. It was a huge mormon. So what was that like to be like. You were having such a direct influence on the biggest season that had ever happened in. Everyone's like tagging you. What was that moment it was. It was incredible. Survival has a huge huge community. But i think there's not bigger than american survive community and american survive. Obviously being the originator so having someone knowing that someone should look stole my season and someone who has an american advocates. I think whatever happened with ballots could happen with me and him actually hearing him quoted alicea idol. That was really incredible. He tagged me himself. You know afterwards when people were sort of criticizing the that you know how could he think. That's even a possibility auditioned people who never watched my season and then you know he stood of showed up. Showed a video of me taking my podium idle and finally people got it okay. Business why he did it and obviously brought a lot of attention and i loved Because it just shows you how how much bigger the survivor community is and how much we take from each other as well during each season around the world so that being said let's let's focus back in on south africa. You say you've been loving season so far hasn't been anyone in particular any moves in particular. What have been your thoughts about. Just the wild direction. This season has been going. I think from the very stugotz. And i think in fact in the first few episodes and i was i was i was getting a digital. Wasn't very happy. Because i felt like there was too much kumbaya going on and they were. I mean i'm a big moves person. And i think the one thing that i've learned as a south african myself south africans very gutsy people and those kind of people who just want to go in be going hard from the very stocks. So you know seeing seeing this one take a little bit of a different take university Company as like it was gonna be smooth sailing the seas find and in order the sudden really close to the merge things just started blowing up and you know the waves just going wild and i absolutely loved that and i think i would allocate david icke say one of the people who started all sped. You know that that major rumbling was tyson so i started giving like a really close eye on him because tree merge closer to merge as i headed greedy sort of pinpointed. Someone who was like frontrunner and i thought added the editing and the production wasn't wasn't really pushing forward like a front runner. Someone who is making big moves until now of course until just before marriage and so. Yeah all of that's happening. The forming of You know the major three alliance. Now being tyson here and y dabbed really third things up and i was happy to see that because it looked like the pala was no swaying one way and it's literally one move. That's the great thing about survivor. One move ten change absolutely everything. Yeah i mean our p. Trio's i know that chapter's gonna shout the destiny three from the hilltops but to your point. We got this big power shift at the merge from the zomba's over to the vaginas that disintegrated quickly. And i think even more so now we've had so much talk these past episodes about like when do you take the shot at the trio. When's the time to do it. And it seems like while champions. Insensitive did not get what they wanted. Last week they were able to do so this week. Granted through some advantages but the trio is broken up and the game is more wide open than it was before. I think there is some still some talk about you know. Was this the right target. But regardless just for the momentum of the season i am incredibly happy that the trio is broken up because now we have a really fun dynamic at the final six shannon to to to feel like. It's been a long time since we've seen that. Yeah i mean. I'm really interested in how next week. We'll go even really discuss this week but it is three days what it looks like. And one of those one person in those pairs of which there are. There's a lot of physical strength and every path is going to win immunity and you would think send someone who immunity islands so one whole pair will be. Immune i'm going to happen. Is that that immune person. We'll send their pontoon unity islands so that they can stay in the view and then that person will become like the lone immune sleeve or even if it is like a chappie sentence antony even tyson. Who's been yelling at him is going to have to come here and be like well zomba. You know have a lot on the jury. Let's go with them. Because they'll they'll have nothing to do. Even this four they have again with anthony and champions again on totally immune. So i do think next week is a really interesting prospects especially with immunity island coming in with us like really small numbers. But i'm really interested to see how it will go but this week as well like. I think that the reason that people love this week so it was. It was like so usually character focus which been a bit of agrarianism on this season. That it hasn't been enough of that emotionality. Tyson has evolved into himself blessed. What did you think about the fact that it wasn't really as much about the move on because again like women. We'll talk about the strategy to people in the baltimore immune and they choke holded the majority and having to do this because no one else was available on it was really about these like explosive characters. Coming out absolutely and i think i love that a lot because i i love i love characters you know because that's what really that's the essence of survivor. It's the.

Was George Washington Egotistical? Historian Wilfred McClay Weighs In

"Now. Can you talk about how. Washington is sometimes portrayed by modern historians being egotistical person. Because he didn't wanna over even want to preside over the constitutional convention us kind of waffling on that right. Some people say that's because of his ego. I don't think that's right. I think it's because he didn't want to put his name behind something. That could have been destructive. You talk about that. How washington almost didn't actually agree to it. Yeah no he look. He he came. He came out of retirement Several times He he wanted nothing more at the conclusion of revolution than to go back his beautiful estate about bourbon. And and hang out there You know And having urged that peace and quiet but he he felt strongly that He the the country he owed in a dubious country he. He was very formed by sort of ideals of classical notions of virtue. Robin like cincinnati. The farmer who turned who does his duty in the blau or k. Tau andy elder. Well there was a wonderful play by. Joe savannah's About cape though. I think it's actually called. Keiko and that washington apparently saw numerous times and had shown to his head and performances put on for his troops numerous times at these critical points when morale was was going through the floor. And it's so that that was his notion he He could certainly have become king if he had wanted to. And the car do that. Is that the behavior in kansas. I don't think

That's going to be I guess my official title is. I'm an associate professor In the english department at usc. I've written often on popular culture Actually i started out as newsday's political cartoonist. And in there in one thousand nine hundred four. "A lot of things. Your body position needs to be good. Your gear needs to fit. You need to be able to perform the bike. That's kind of essential stuff that you know. I don't think anyone would argue. But it doesn't mean you can accomplish that while wearing neckties that that's where he gets off the rails. I agree with them up to that point. I yeah i think your body position should be good blah blah blah and it even further. I've trained with rhino taus trained with them the gym. I've trained to them at the track like as a writing coach type situation and he helped me helped me out some things that were fantastic This was pre neckbrace but But yeah but like. I said it's not impossible to achieve those things while you're wearing a brace so that's where we get off the rails you know unfortunately like i said the echo chamber on social media people get in there and they all go get your spouting into air. It's phenomenal. i don't understand his cult that he's got he's a passionate guy and at some point he turned into this. You know. hey man. I love to ride and i love that you run. I love teaching people who turn that. And i love showing everybody. You know what how to ride a motorcycle but it turned into that into some sort of vendetta where he is right and everyone else is wrong. And i kind of like an these are my words not yours and i'm kinda like run. What happened to have peaceful open. Mind to now just saying this is the way it is. I mean he he said. Marvin moose can can't win. He cannot win. he hasn't adapted his style and then two weeks later he wins salt lake. I know says he adapted his style. And i'm just like stop it. Stop it you know. I m saying like him saying like you know the technique or whatever they need to win today was different than a couple of years when guys are not that different. No so again. The problem is his arguments getting weaker. There's less and less legs to search. You can tell that. He's searching for in excuses when you're using that kind of slow.

"Week. We're talking with new york times. Bestselling author tau bench shahar. Who's new book happier no matter what looks at how we can cultivate hope resilience in purpose even during the most difficult times of our lives. Let's hear what he has to say. Thank you so much for coming back on. Live happy now. Thank you paula. It's great to be back. Well we had a wonderful reason to have you back because you've got a new book out and it's called happier no matter what one thing that i really like about this book. Is that right up front. You talk about covert and quarantines and how that affected us. So why was it important for you to write a book that specifically spoke to this time in our lives would happen soon as covert hits and new social unrest seemed like a world was or we were losing control over our world. Many people approached me and said you know what is the relevance of science of happiness now. isn't it a bit redundant. One of my friends went as far as suggesting that we quarantine happiness for awhile and in response to that. I wrote the book and the basic argument is that not only is the science of happiness still important. It's actually more important than ever. Yeah and so. Many people are thinking about survival whether that's their physical health. Are there mental health and you point out that happiness and those things are not mutually exclusive. The happiness plays a big role in that. Have very much so you know what would help to me articulate initially for myself and then for my students the importance off the signs that the relevance is actually a concept that was coined by seen. Todd in a seem is a professor at new york university and he writes about the concept of anti fragility anti fragility in other words the opposites affair fragility and what he does is essentially take resilience to the next level. So residents two point. Oh if if you wish specifically you know resilience is about the ability to bounce back. It's going back to where we were before to our original state anti fragility or resilience. Two point oh is bouncing back higher not going back to where we were before but going to a place that is higher better stronger than it was before. This is what resilience to point. Always

It shouldn't take you long to realize that at least for some people. It takes a surprising amount of thoughtfulness and intelligence to make yourself the object of stupidity. Thank you so much beyond you are a professional clown. If that right yes that is right and here is what our mutual friend maple said about you. His name is beyond. He's from sweden. Matt him on eighty. He's very funny clown and then later on we work together in a charity hospital and talk more and i feel like he's very warm hearted and he's very professional. Yeah how did you and maple. I get to know each other. What's your story. well there was. This new comedian accrue for comedy and she was absolutely hilarious and it also turned out. She was super nice person. Simple as that. So i am guessing what object you have brought today. That in some way exemplifies your life here in china. But why don't you explain what you've brought. Well why don't we do this. I will put it on and you tell me what you see you like this. This this is my red clown nose than those that are wearing. You had a connection long before they didn't you. Yes so. I guess it started with my hippie parents so i grew up in a house where you know they would talk about. My mother started doing tai in the late eighties. And then my father started doing taichi and they were these kind of parents. Lewis did what he needed to repeatedly setting fastest laps and taking the time out of max's lead but there was a moment of time as he approached his teammate. Who was told not to hold lewis up but we didn't seem to to make it too easy on instead. Lewis had to make the post into ten ten. It was lot sixty. So i know that you have done a lot of work on neutrinos. You have a few papers. That came out recently. And i want to talk to a twenty eighteen paper dalogue and my own neutrino signatures of primordial black holes. invite you say. These studied primordial black holes ph is as sources of massive neutrinos by hawking radiation under the hypothesis that black holes emit nuclear no bass item states be described quantitatively called the pbs evolution and lifetime is affected by the mass and flew munich dialect my own nature of neutrinos before we get the details celia I wanted to get some definitions of folks would know what black court saw a few episodes of black holes Here we're talking about. The pride won't imprac codes owes The these black holes are fall close to the big bang And then as caulking radiation Sort of The black hole evaporating So to speak and that That lady Imitating these particles called neutrinos. Right is that. Do i understand that correctly. Yes so so pry bhutia blackhaws before we get the neutrinos what is sort of the mechanism of formation their ho- exactly what they have formed sure We believe that Primordial hose could form in the early universe from density fluctuations so We know that any object could can possibly become a black hole if you compress it into a very very small volume so this same process could happen in the universe with Density fluctuations that could be a regional space where there is an over density compared to the surrounding and each of over the east coast past Then then it could get to the point of becoming a black hole This this The details of this process are beyond my expertise But this is fairly reasonable thing to expect and The diesel really small rate in the scheme of things. Yes so when i started to Learn about time or their black holes. I was amazed by how different in mass can be. They can be may be the massive wouldn't but they can also be The mass of Being or they can be Even even smaller so they can really be very very tiny. Yes oh so. That's really really small so this is sort of quantum fluctuations only universe Kind of getting Getting concentrated in vide- small areas But we believe those. Those primordial black holes emit nucleus. we Have to go back to stephen hawking for that stephen hawking wrote this seminal paper Which is about what we nowadays. Nowadays call hawking radiation so he demonstrated that any black hole regardless of what it is could be primordial black hole or a stellar. Nicole doesn't matter any black hole isn't really black because it meets radiations so radiation particles And the the process that we call evaporation so Because a black holes fundamentally gravity objects they would meet any particle that couples to raggedy including trees so It's the moment you have a black hole you do. Have hawking radiation and neutrinos are just that are expected. Part of hawking radiation. You're so caulking radiation so that that happens to every black hole even the even the supermassive ones right so i it said gentle phenomenon And so going to neutrinos now Don't typically thing neutrino site Caltrans and electrons are really well known. neutrinos are particles. Dad don't interact with The matter Espionage don't interact much with matters. We don't really see them. They don't really see them. And and so it's difficult to measure that's right and so so this could you give a. What does the history of neutrino vendor we. I understand such things existed. Let's see We go back to the twentieth century and the story goes That the father of neutrino sees Warfare he. He made the hypotheses of a new particle existing as a way to explain Some strange behavior of neutrinos produced by by nuclear decay so It's it's a long story but Let me just say that For a long time. Neutrinos who just the hypotheses and then around the mead of this twentieth century They would actually officer so we started to Know that this particles existed and But that was pretty much heat. So we didn't know much about the properties And one of these properties the mass which we still don't know i'm easy after all these decades but we still don't know if neutrinos have something like a magnetic went for example And something that we didn't learn until much later on is the fact. That neutrinos oscillate. That's that that sounds. That's something that we that were somehow established Turn of the sanctuary around the around the year. Two thousand really after after decades of of testing with the solar neutrino selling trainers. So there are still there are still a number of no on your trainers. One of them is the mass one and the other one is the The nature of the neutrinos being the iraq particles or miranda particles we She's kind of a fundamental cost. So there are that. That's that's that's related to the fundamental nature of the neutrino as particle break. So so they do. They have a mass but masses small. Do they have a chunk. Neutrinos don't have charge so they are electrically neutral and that's Comedy the biggest reason for for them to be a so allusive as you were mentioning earlier on especially in the in early. Nineteen hundreds all the particle detectors so basically a electro-magnetic detectors they were looking for charge or Magnetic behavioral some sort. So neutrinos don't have that and so they They only have the weak interaction At that that we know wolf and gravity of course and so that's why they They escape detection so so easily because their interaction is very weak. Yeah so so. That's sort of the beauty of neutrinos right so because they don't interact V can go back digits of years. Simple hats Perhaps become pickup one on earth and it would have travelled that distance through all sorts of things but would not have affected wider rate right. Yes and so so the other phenomenon of neutrino is that you mentioned that they also late so are they're failures of tinos they go back and forth. Yes it's It's actually a fairly Easy to this cried kwan to sonam on We know that In quantum mechanics there is this Particles described by these function which is called the wave function. And so the neutrinos could be on. Neutrino could be born as a say an extra and then it's quanta way function would evolve over time in a way that after sometime. The wave function is no longer a purely electron neutrino way function. But the has a little bit or even law actually of a different flavor. It could be a new one or tau. So what we observe in the actors. Is this change of flavor and perhaps the most striking demonstration of this phenomenon is solemn. Neutrinos because we know that the sun produces an extra treatments and It doesn't produce a new on and talion trainers so But here on earth we do Have evidence that the solar neutrino flags that we receive has some You wanna talion. Trina in it and that can only be explained by sedation and Actually after this other neutrino data showed this phenomenon. This was also confirmed by a saint men made experiments so it's a fairly established phenomenon it and so that the flavors are Electron new on tall. Yes that's right and so. Did you understand the vendor made in the sun for example there they are made as electron Neutrinos and by the time they reached the earth day the Immunes dot. Yes yes Impart young. that's that's what happens so ease. It always the case that they get a manufactured so to speak as as electoral neutrinos always. It depends on where they are born. There are places where neutrino sutter born in or flavors. A so it's it's it really varies with With the type of environment We are talking about okay. Okay and so in the people you say ph is this primordial black holes. We talked about radiates right. Handed and left handed dutra knows in equal amounts so anybody right-handed unless the cleaners. Okay let me see so Yes you say. Indicates of dirac neutrinos. pba Left neutrinos in equal amounts possibly increasing deceptive number noon pheno species nest. Yes is that explainable. Yes so right handed than left handed. Neutrinos that may take why to explain what that exactly means me. Just say that It's related to the neutrino mass. So if you're truly knows didn't have a mass which we know they do but if they didn't have a mouse They would only exist as left handed particles which means that basically their spin is Is anti aligned with the momentum and but if they have mass and the iraq particles There could be another type of neutrino which is right handed. Which where the This being ease aligned with a mentor other than anti line and so If you are iraq these these two different species could exist and so instead of having one species of neutrino emitted left-handed one Indicators of a massless trina if we have not suv nutrients than you would have to species and so. The black hole radiate war energy compared to The case when neutrinos don't amass so when we started working on this paper i was interested in this phenomenon that A lot of the literature having to do with a developer. Evaporation of primordial black couls. Consider the neutrinos as massless about. Now we know that they are massive. And so i thought well Sixty speaking at primordial black hole could radiate more energy than previously thought. So i found that aspect interesting and then sees you mention the possibility to increase the effective number of species. That's related to what it was talking about. So then you the black hole would ra- gate more neutrino States or more neutrino Species to spe pseudo speak and then Would increase the number of neutrinos per cubic centimeter Data we observe today so I'm kind of glossing over a lot of these days. But basically cosmology gives us a measurement of this and effective which is called the effective number two species. And if you have this right. Handed neutrinos coming from the primordial black holes. This number could be higher than than expected. And so that would be may be a i way to tell that maybe there are more black holes in the universe yet. So so the hawking radiation essentially creation coming out of black holes Expected defined Expected that over a long period of time. Black holes radiate away lap. Later ray out the mass or information that didn't do it And so this. Radiation is hockey. Radio station is it is a new park. Or is it. Fundamentally composed of neutrinos hawking radiation is made of every particle that no of so A black hole. A camera gate Pretty much everything. Photons neutrinos throngs You loans It said cetera but There is the catch here. The fact that a black hole has a temperature which is another Big achievement of stephen hawking to end and others To that the black hole is thermo dynamical object and so Basically the bigger the black hole the lower the temperature so if the temperature is really low The black hole wouldn't be able to immed- Very massive particles because they are thermal energy would be sufficient for that so because masses energy Mc squared right so because massey's energy If a black hole has too low of a temperature It wouldn't have its quantum energy It's it's Wouldn't be enough to produce the mass off a particular particle for example a proton may be too heavy to be produced by a really low tanto black home so so the beaker. The black called the lower the temperature. Yes ed so. So then can expect the bigger black holes to have more of a neutrino content in radiation. Yes because The bigger black holes would as i said be able to radiate the heavy particles and so they would only be able to radiate away the low mass particles and so there could be black holes that only emit photons gravitons and Neutrinos do a of sort of the distribution of this primordial black holes Isn't you know sort of everywhere. What is what do we know about you. Know some of the distribution of bbc's you mean spatial distribution like where they are now. I'm wondering just like the easy would do sort of look at the early universe will find them everywhere Probably at the beginning they would be a more or less uniformly distributed Bug in the universe. Today they would probably be Behaving like the dark matter. Does they would Be part of galactic halos In other words they would be they would class gravitationally on large structures like a like a galaxy placido galaxy so these call still around They would they would behave like like the dark matter down. So they would be in in halo. Galaxies would have by. Now have april would would they not have disappear because it far it depends on the mass That they have when they are born so their if their mass is less than a certain value that trying to remember Basically yes they would have to By now they would have completely evaporate did their masters larger than they will take longer to evaporate and they could still be around So they roughly speaking the dividing line between a black hole. Steve being around today or not. I think it's something like ten to fifteen grams fiery recall correctly into fifteen clams though So this paper. Eusebio obtained the diffuse flux of right hill. Neutrinos from his idea and so so. So so the nikkei actually act to build these neutrinos. They'd be flying here do pbs specifically In principle that's a possibility we Considered that for certain Masses of these black holes and certain density of this black holes the flux of neutrinos that they generate over time could be fairly large and so we could Detect these neutrinos If we had a very Power who attacked so Now life is never ideally in the sense that a real Ut detector have substantive issues like ground And so on. So at the end of the people we conclude that impact is giving given the limitations that current nutrient doctors have It may not really be possible to detect neutrinos trump mortgage black holes but people. That's a possibility and that alone is interesting. Yeah because they suggestion that this primordial black holes could be as as you mentioned could be part of the dark matter that yes to seeking. Is that still About us that has been. There has been a debate on these Kind of going back and forth in the scientific community The latest i heard is that Black whose could be part of the dark matter. Maybe even a large part but probably not they entire dark matter so a one hundred percent primordial Battery is a bit difficult to justify the day. experimental bowels that we already have constrained so various types but there could be scenarios where maybe a fraction of the dark matter. He's made of primordial black holes. I wanted to go into a ended up paper in twenty twenty supernova neutrinos directional sensitivity and prospects for dissertation here the export potential of current and future liquid cinta league neutrino detectors. I decade old town. Mass a localize a super a supernova neutrino signal into sky in douglas was feeding the core collapse nearby star tens to hundreds of english Coated and don't be constructed policy in the detector can be used to estimate a direction to the star so so this is now neutrinos from supernova and You so so we. We have Idea here that before this opened on what happens. If please open over a time period it is creating neutrinos that could pick up and and potentially get ready to see the super bowl. Yes that's what excites me The fact that Think about bitter jews. Beetlejuice is the most famous nearby star. That could go supernova anytime and we don't know when that's going to happen and If it wasn't for these neutrinos that our paper is about we will know until the style literally Collapses and and then soon after becomes superman but in this paper we we Show that before the star collapses which is the beginning of the supernova process We can detect these. These neutrinos That are used at that at that stage and so increase the pool we could know that You know tomorrow. These days beetlejuice exploding and that that would be quite exciting. Yeah it's beetlejuice is is red joy and reasonably close to was really big star. I can remember Cecilia there was some suggestion that It could go supernova within something one hundred fifty thousand years which is obliquely in cosmic time so it is getting ready to go to Supernova right yes. I am not you formed about exactly the number of years give or take but it's it's ready it's ready. It could be any time and any time any time for an astronomer muse anytime the next thousand soviet so we should. We should hold their breath. But it's ready could be tomorrow. It could be in a hundred years could supernova. I know that this is not part of the paper but could the beetlejuice supernova avenue adverse effect on north really know a supernova is very very spectacular event. it's it's a star that collapses so it implodes i and that explodes and then when he explodes It's very bright. In the case of bitter jews we could. We could see by naked-eye shore but in terms of A fact of each radiation and neutrinos in light on on us and on our daily activities. It wouldn't it. Wouldn't affect them in any way so it's a save Show to just enjoy without any worry. Great answer so you talking about supernova neutrinos so so can be actually detect neutrinos from supernova. What different from what we talked about in the previous people Different from pbs I'm not sure. Can you repeat yes. So the new teen emanating from a supernova different from the Neutrinos of expectancy from a primordial black hole. Yes the the different In many ways disney trails have higher energies. So it's much much easier to attack them and indicates will beat the jews. We would detect thousands or even more of dan millions. Probably of them Indiana so different in the way they are born because in our primordial black hole ordinary black hole The processes volcanoes the asian. Which which is a gravity phenomenon in a supernova. You're born out of the very hot and dense environment That the that that the star as after it has collapsed so star collapsing on its own way to become very dense and so In this very dense in hot environment nuclear processes take place that produce these nutrients. So i guess the main difference is that indicates supernova it's most nuclear phenomenon and in the call is really fundamentally a gravitational sonam. Okay you discover technique in this paper and you saved sin principle possible unique the identify the progenitor star so So the existing technology and ideas discussed in the paper viki see teacup a neutrino decode. Identify valid came from or what direction thing from embed you can go back and look at the in that direction if he find to supernova then you could say that the supernova that created in-principle Yes let me. Just say that There are situations and this is not one of them but there are situations where if you have one neutrino you can point to the pointing the sky. What came from in these case. It's a little more complicated. Because what really gives us. The information is the statistical distribution of these nutrients so we are talking about may be the tax in hundred a hundred Gable take from say be for example and What did detector really observe is not the neutrino is kind of a vector which is related to the products of these neutrinos so this neutrino sues interacts with the interact with the detector. And then out of this interaction you have a positive on the new thrown and those can be observed and you can you can create a factory using these two and then and then these rector will have a certain orientation but each each neutrino coming will give you a differently oriented vector but statistically if you look at the distribution of these factors you you can tell you can you can do for with a certain of course The direction of the neutrinos because these vectors are not uniformly distributed they are they have a non uniform distribution of the direction. And so using this information we can we can define a regional the sky where The new three could come from so we can. We cannot now down to a point but we can now down to maybe a cone of a few tens of degrees Width and then we look in that cone and see what stars that com and maybe be juicy one of them. Yeah so As you say you if you see a few Neutrinos Statistics bution of those will give us some some probability That it is in in some region of the sky. And then you say the paper You can then that if it is happening please open nola. You learnt other observational. Modalities multi messagero rations Invisible in radio and other other types of observations Do actually pick up more data so this is almost like a early alert system If it is in place right yes i would call it a very early I learned to because it's we're talking about maybe our worse or insert very fortunate cases. We are even talking about maybe day Before the assad goes supernova and. so that's enough time to plan for for it so a something that fascinated me When i heard about this from a from a an experimentalist is that there is a human factor which was not aware of but The factories so if you have come up with thirty minutes to plan for watching supernova this may not be enough because it just takes stein to make phone calls and get a hold of people and and decide what to do. Come to a consensus in that. I saw in addition to technical things. Like okay have to maybe turn your telescope Direction which takes time. But i i was really fascinated by the human factor. Those things that if you had style we'd be you can kind of gathered. Relevant people decide something but if you have thirty minutes or or or minutes maybe not so. Yeah yeah i wondered. If such a earlier system is in place Perhaps could be something programmatic. Crises is picking up And you have some you know. Maybe some ai techniques or something like that that identifies the region and it goes. Programmatic returned the telescopes look. Yes yes exactly so. There could be a protocol in place For that so e if a telescope was suitable for observing a nearby supernova which which is not always the case than than now that we showed that it's possible to know beforehand if a star is going to go supernova then there could be some sort of protocol in place already so that when the alert comes which is we can just activated the protocol and oriented telescope. maybe automatically will in some sort of Organized way yeah as you say if you remove humans from the process it becomes not better there is actually already working this direction It's called this new two point. Oh a network which has to do with Exactly these using neutrinos as alert for the astronomy community and That has to do with exactly a creating alerts and also creating protocols for how to react to an alert rate. I want to end the people that just came out. it concordant scenario for the observation of neutrino from the tidal disruption. Even eight hundred twenty nine hundred ninety s t You say be induced at phenomenology concordance canadia with the logistic jet of for the title disruption event Between ninety s jesmyn proposes a source of the astrophysical neutrino event. Ice cube So the title disruption even this is star getting cooler into a black hole getting Getting sucked in rate is that the is that even up to the match yes This is something that we We had about be in in popular science stalks What what happens if you get too close to black hole and It's kind of scary. So the answer is you would be ripped apart because your feet will be pulled in with a strong force than your head and these. This is what happens to two statehouse. Use the star gas to close than by guests Ripped the park. Which is what the tied is option means and so instead of a star Rotating around a black hole we just have a stellar stellar That dr intially. I created by the black hole and so This is something that The happy neighbor cops serve did so so we have. This does happen this particularly Eighty twenty nine hundred ninety s and Bequeath actually see a new cleaners from that particular even so tightness. Deduction events are fairly well established phenomenon in astronomy. We have many of them served They they are Fairly a common plays events But what's special about this particular one. Eighty two thousand nineteen years. G is that We could let's say It could have Produced on neutrino that was detected a ice cube so eighty twenty nine hundred ninety s. She is the first either direction event. For which is coincident. Neutrinos detected a dice. Cube in queens. This coincidence is likely to be accidental. So on approachability estimate tells us that these coins. This is pretty causal not accident so eighty twenty nine hundred ninety. The g could be the parent of this neutrino. And that's that's that's a i. That's very interesting. Yes i skew. is a is a big ice cube in the in. The south is I'm not sure it's exactly cuba. But it's it's the biggest block of is which has been Eastern With values Small detectors So it's it's an array of swarner detectors but yeah it's basically a big block of ice which has been transformed into a detective and so so the idea that this high energy neutrinos from what they were System montemar even that happened Out there this high energy neutrinos passing through that ice q. believe some telltale signs All of that happening and yuxi picked up Then began back Just like you were talking about the previous creeper begin. Please back to a region so this is one of those cases where you can tell from a single neutrino of course the with with a narrower where you can tell the point in the sky where three neutrino kate from. It's doable with one single neutrino because this high energy neutrinos when they enter the is They produce ca a shower so they kind of illuminate. They you me nate. The is but the do it in a way which is very much Beat so and then and then the direction of the the direction of bigotry knows. We have a pretty good accuracy often. How often could be a pickup something like that. Do we have an estimate of how often that would happen. Meaning ice cube detects something like this. Every year ice cube the tax Of the order of ten high-energy neutrinos froth outside our galaxy. Tadesse the number for the entire crop of neutrinos that ice cube has It went we talk about tidal disruption events in the specific these are fairly rare phenomena and so they estimated that maybe a few times so percent of the entire neutrino flux the thais cubeys of serving could be from tidal disruption events. Not much more than that. So we are talking about less than half of the total flats being to tell this option events okay and so the tug disruption burned as as you mentioned It starts getting clipped applaud and pulled back into a into a a black hole but this ten percent. Do they have to be these braces as they call it. The things that have a jet that is sort of lying towards us. Is that it necessarily condition for these types of high energy neutrinos. It's it's a plausible scenario Let me just say that. There is an important difference between blazers in tidal disruption events. In the fact that the ablaze is something that has a jet. She's always on so the jets kinda kerman feature of of these particular galaxy but the title is adoption. Event is transient events. Saw dotcoms creates the accretion. This accretion of the star of the black hole produces flair is flair can last year or two but then it would just fade away so There could be jet and in fact in our paper we present where there is a jet so they partisans the user chat But if there is a jet in tiger disruption event. That's a transient suggested. That's born when This starts to create the stellar debris. And then it's on for months or years and then and then shuts off and it has two point in our direction as you as you mentioned because otherwise we would. We would see the trains your so this high energy neutrinos sillier how. How many orders of magnitude are we talking about coming to the one set you pick up. Let's say from the sun I'm not sure about the question. Can you maybe rephrase yet. So when you say this high energy neutrinos that is coming from let's say a tidal disruption events or something like that How much comedy orders of magnitude more energy Outdoors come to you. Know the ones that might be created the sun a lot menu of this magnitude so It is a big difference. So the sun produces new three meals. over a wide range of energies Higher energy neutrinos from the sun reach energies of the order of ten am pt and mega awards and for the ice cream. Neutrinos we are talking about one hundred of the older one hundred t. v. or even thousand teams. Which would be p so. Let's say maybe eighty tortoise magnitude finding the mass rife or okay and so this e. v. measure it is actually measuring the mass of the neutrino of newfield. Now these these neutrinos are have such a Such high energy that basically It's impossible to know their mass Because because as i said massey's energy so they talk energy of neutrino Detected is to be so high that that percentage view to its mass east so tiny that this practice mutual so i was wondering if we know the energy couldn't be sort of back computer to save the mass is or it doesn't follow The reasoning is a bit different and The way to sink about this is perhaps they let me see the formula for energy particle Which used the rest energy Applause the kinetic energy and So connecticut is so high that he thought the overwhelms direct energy. So it's it's and of course every time you measure the energy when three no. There is a narrow associated with the measurement so You we can't really we can't really tell what What led the boss of the detroit news but both roughtly this. This appears to be sort of an early warning system for many many things right topped the supernova the in the title disruption events producing heightened plano's So this could be sort of inundated with a monkey message. Observations protocols as you mentioned that gives us a higher success. Wait suspect. I would think certainly nominated be one right That's the power of multi messenger astronomy the integration of different signals coming from Photos tree knows navigation waves Causing me craze and Danger plays very powerful emmanuel cases and maybe supernova case is the most striking Xenos come first. But that's not always the case So in the indicates of tidal disruption events Did you know that was observed. Came about five months later than the initial dhammika looser version of the tidal disruption events so It's if it can go both ways. neutrinos can be early alert or they only alert could be for example a radio salvation or or an x-ray use ovation and then and then the neutrino attacked or could Focus a surge in that direction as see what they find which which has actually been done ice cube sometimes. Does these these archival. Search this on the basis of others from From for example x ray or gamma ray surveys interested. Exciting eighty that said a lot to be owned It seems It seems like these till don't know all the production mechanisms for neutrinos but if we have robust with to pick them up on than we can place them back and and talk asking questions What might be there definitely So yes so. People celia the next five years Wanted the aid is that you believe Be will make a significant crocus in this Innovative neutrinos then two different areas. That a very promising One is Broadly speaking Manmade nutrients so there is. There is a big push especially hitting the united states to build Create very powerful beams of trainings and then these beams are manmade. So we know that very well. We know that energy we know the composition and we can use them to learn about The properties of treatments and then That other men bead neutrino experiments where Scientists look for the between months so that's also very promising In something i really. I really excited about that. That may be a furious novel with noble the neutrino mass us from these very high position laboratory experience. Then there is the whole Topic of neutrinos as part of the mouth of mike messenger astronomy and in that area. I think what was was to look forward. To among other scenes is the interplay gravitational waves shock waves. You still Somehow a science of its own into a large extent but there are so many possible connections. We've neutrinos tidal disruption adoption events should produce reputation ways so baranov shoot us gradation ways So so there is. There is a a lot of potential there which is still unexplored in and that's where i see myself Working on in the next few years you adjust very quickly The do gravitational waves travel bid closest and new ashtrays and so if If they both are produced in In uneven they're expected to arrive on earth close to simultaneously. It depends on the timing of the production if the answer is yes the waves ending a knows are born at the same time which may not be exactly true because the physics that governs tation waves is different from the one that that governs neutrinos. So but the difference in timing would be the difference Accumulated that birth But but the two were were generated genetically the same time. They should arrive the same time. Just thinking this a systematic difference in the production time than guan lorries given early warning for the other. But that doesn't seem to do a case right. There could be cases where significant lag in the production of rotation way with respect to the production of the tree nose and one example is. We haven't touched on this before but let me just nation mergers so if we have if we have a merger for example we have maybe a merger of a neutron stars or black hole neutral star before the merger happens so when the two objects that kind of still approaching each other we should start observe serving ways and this is what this is what has been seen so Delight experiment observes these these nominal But if we have a merger After the merger has occurred and the two objects have become one than a. Dan could be the formation of of over an accretion disk and he secretion Trainers which we can which we can back so the neutrino We come After they initially asian waves and so relation as would be the alert for the neutrino. That does excellent. your this has been great as celia. thanks so much complaining pleasure. Okay thank you bye. This is a scientific sense. Lauren Oyler Talks About Deception Online

"Lauren. Oiler joins us now. From ithaca new york. Her first novel is just out. It's called a fake accounts. Lauren thanks so much for being here. Thank you for having me alright. So people know your name even before this novel moseley probably as credit. You've written book reviews for the new york times booker view but also for many other places. Talk a little bit if you would about your reviewing. And how did you get into this well. I started reviewing as elliptical writer. As i think. Many increasingly many writers wrench generation will have to sort of similar background. Just about the millennial generation yes. I'm eleni on thirty years old. So i consider myself a true millennial smack in the middle and i said in english and college and when i graduated i moved to berlin and part because it was really cheap to live there and i wanted to work on my writing and the first sort of opportunity i got with to write liberals about books so every week i think for over a year i would write like a top ten list about top ten bucks three when you're sad and second your house or or whatever and you just made these like did you just come up with all by yourself or did you sort of pull friends. How did you compile them. Sometimes they would suggest something so if there was some event or you know if there was a holiday. Do something related to that. But it was really like. I could do whatever i wanted. And i think i was being paid. Twenty five pounds per article. Which means that. I had a lot of freedom to sort of cover the kind of books that i wanted to cover and do sort of weirder things and in the process of researching this column. I read a lot of criticism. I read a lot of weird sort of book websites. And i learned a lot about what was going to contemporary literature. Learned a lot about what i liked. Agent like in criticism as well. I want to hear everything you learned in all of those areas. I mean i. I guess what. What were the weird book websites. Well at the time we were living through a period which is now referred to as it right so the author but maybe many listeners will know from this movement is tau win. But there was a large group of sort of internet inflicted writers and poets and novelists who are doing sort of experimental literature. That was very much inflicted by the internet. And what kind of book criticism did you read. Where did you turn to other than us. Oh of course. I was reading really widely. But the thing that the way that i really got into it in the way that i sort of developed my style was by reading. Lots of old issues of el arbi wonder review of books online. And i just found that that you know. They're sort of signature combination of of very sort of cheeky. It's not cheeky. But it's it's very indepth in a along review. In which many sort of the books. The books are viewed for many different angles but ultimately there's a real perspective that's gone into those pieces that i really connected west. We should say at this point because it doesn't necessarily show up in your voice that you grew up in west virginia so this is like a very presumably big cultural shift going to berlin and reading the l. r. Did you grow up exposed to a lot of books and to criticism as as a as a kid or a teenager. No absolutely not. Don't overstate might rural upbringing raw. Basically not in a suburb but but something like a suburb But there wasn't you know there wasn't a lot of there weren't a lot of magazines around like i wasn't reading the new yorker. My family was reading the new yorker and my family our readers but they're reading sort of marshawn nra Stuff which is fine. And i should have to do my customary disclosure. Which is that. I did go to jail so that is really where. I got my my hose. Anything you can see the semi writing as well which is a real combination of of colloquial like mainstream kind of slang and the higher register that could be interpreted as literary or more serious. And i think that it really does come from this kind of normal upbringing in west virginia combined with suddenly. I'm at yale. And then i moved to europe.

So first and foremost audio is founded by the winter queen. This is the head honcho the mornings at the very top. The one that you do not want to mess with pretty much cresci. She will kick you out of that in no time and put you down into the more like they did with jalen so this is the place where wild goats and other nature spirits travel when they die when they pass on to the afterlife and these while goods can be any who was And didn't see or who died in. Draw in the anima. Anima being the main resource of what the shut feeds off of every cell has some anima. And this is what we're in the shadowlands to do at the moment is to resolve the anima drought that is plaguing the shadowlands and feeding the j. lie in the more to break him. Free amway trying to stop that and obviously resolve it and get things in working order in the road of death pretty much so he dream trades. That's gonna be a tough decide. The have spirits inside of them and these spirits over a decades will grow within the seat is employing cam butterfly or whatever caterpillar you come into your cocoon and you had chicken like say two weeks eight up but instead center two weeks or whatever the span of cocoon is is decades more like depending on how powerful i think the deity is so these.

"This study is called cigarette smoke exposure redirect staphylococcus aureus to a virulent profile associated with persistent infection. And I'm only going to read the abstract of full article is available online open access tobacco smoking represents the leading preventable cause of death worldwide. Smoking is recognized risk factor for several pathologies and is detrimental to host immune surveillance and defense. However, the impact of smoking on microbial residents of the Nasal Fair Gio cavity in contrast with cigarette smoke is lacking staphylococcus. aureus is a major human pathogens that colonize the human nasal ferrings and causes a wide range of infections. Investigated the impact of cigarette smoke on specific variance fina important in staphylococcus aureus pathogenesis. We observed strain dependent differences following exposure to cigarette smoke namely, growth inhibition augmented biofilm formation increased invasion of and persistence within bronchial. epithelial cells. Additionally, we confirm the critical role of a functional accessory gene regulator system in mediating Christ biofilm development and host cell division, and persistence following cigarette smoke exposure. So of course, I'M GONNA post a link to that in description below but. it takes this gram positive bacteria a put the cigarette smoke, and then it turns into a monster. and. So mile phones are no joke and people really should take a little bit. Better look at what's going on in the research when this published about them. I've seen a lot of misinformation about biofilm online people talking about what they think it is where they came from what they think it does and. not much of it is right. You go through that class. And A movie I can actually highly recommend is, why am I still sick the silent role biofilms in chronic infections. And when I saw that film, it helps me get a grasp on how my body could be producing such strains skin symptoms I started to understand the microbial world a little bit better. and.
