Now he's got a running back to help them out. As he brings back into the play. Elijah Dotson lines up to his right. They got two receiver out to the right and they got two receivers out to the left. Quarterback keeps it himself breaks out over right tackle, But the Bears are waiting for him and say hello as Tattersall makes the South Africa AL one yard gain on the play so early in the game. The Bears were flowing with that play action fake and they were getting that Quarterback draw inside this time, the backer, somebody staying home to mirror the quarterback, second and nine. They're going to go wanted to pass and find anybody decides to run and works his way down just short of the 20 yard line as he grabbed behind a couple of bears, krumping and tender saw both their five yard gain on the play. "So it's kinda hard to pick to pick one stallion out of all that. I mean on on a personal note and i'm sure this is shared by a lot of people. I think it's absolutely wonderful to see franco. Hit the heights that he say clearly has as a stallion. The best racehorse island the scene and scientists to see him follow that up and his second career is magnificent. And we got savannah. Tastic frank jailings to offer offer the the adoring public this year and hopefully for many years to come so now. We're very small amount. We we really are and in know the buys recognize that know. That's why they hone in on on on this particular sale because we won't the best earrings by the best salads and so there's an awful lot to forward very nice and then one last question is just popped into my head. You've got the tassels. Aw that getting settled coming. That's products. isn't it this year. Thousands onset taking place here part paddocks and it is always a very Eagerly looked forward to by an advisor starts on september. The twenty first sir to day to day sale. and look it's a sale regularly. Chains item offer a winners and some extremely good winners as well. So it's very very popular with owners trainers lot stock agents and we took the decision to relocate it for the second year in a row for for obvious reasons. We we You know we. We came up against some brother. Unforeseen obstacles on literally on the eve of the tassels darby sell this year. Which were you know which. Which i think everybody and may have to assess how we approached the in the other important cells that we had coming up a tactile and so we we thought we we play safe and relocated here to park paddocks. It went extremely well this time last year. And i think everybody everybody's been very supportive of the decision and we're looking forward to a to a very decent renewal of of what has an extremely popular ailing sound to me. Actually jimmy and another question which springs to mind. I've bumped in someone the other way who was eulogizing about ask who is in trading sales may miss them very much. What is happening with salesforce When when might be back you slightly not entirely. Sure i can give you definitive. A definitive answer on that one martin so say raw them rather than toting complete. Cobblers all also have swerve year. Mind i k buy yes well on that note but having said that the good thing is we you know we we are. We're staging regular cardoso's online sales. Which numerically aren't most of the mom. Quite the same size as the as the regular as the regular sales at a alaska but we have regular outlets and these these online sales are proving to be increasingly popular and and attracting buys in all different sectors as as we as we roll them out so again. It's it's an illustration of how we've had to explore different avenues by necessity and you know we're we're we're We continue to provide. That's service for everybody. Is we have in the past note. Murray man of mystery jimmy. George thank you very much. We'll be back for another racing post. Talk top podcast in the next few weeks survivors thoroughbred mark. "With the first two sales we staged without any real or whether restrictions. We're band business as usual. And that i think the most important thing and the biggest positive as we look forward to but one of the octavian sale. We're back to tassels being open to each and every person who wishes to attend the sale in whatever capacity and i think the atmosphere. We've we've enjoyed the last. Two sales people have been missing the traditional welcoming format and the the usual way in which people can participate in sales tassels. So that's been great and the overseas angles. Pretend it's not still without its challenges but people can travel to the uk far more freely particularly from europe north america. That is pretty well. No no obstacles in the way of that now. We'll have to still be careful and responsible but we are expecting to to see a really decian east presence at the forthcoming siles that supposedly itself. Yeah it's just that. I don't know the giving so so much listening just to introduce them to. It's a book. One is the most prestigious eating settled in world arguably it's sells of the cleveland. The commercially bred european yielding crop. That's a huge deal isn't it. Yeah but one of the tassell taibbi yearling sale. We like to think is is arguably the finest collection of ailing certainly turf bred yearlings. We find anywhere worlds We would say that but it's it's always gratifying to read respected commentators. On the on the sport non business such as bill oppenheim say precisely that effectively book while not october is the number one year and so in the world. So i'm gonna take bills word for it on that one and this year's catalog is is very much up to standard. It is a very very strong catalog. And as you would as you would expect from europe's premier yelling sale but also not just yours primarily yelling sale. We have the most extraordinary bunch of stallion standing here. In britain and france at the moment and the cream of the ayling's is those world class is find their way to one of the october. And that's why these horses perform at the very highest nettle throughout the world year after year after year. And that is why the major buyer's come here year off years. Well it it all slots in price it all make sense in. It's you can't just sell pretty ayling's year after year. They got foam the racecourse. And you might say maybe this year it's a they have performed at an extraordinary level with the likes of mars basilica. Who's the highest rated three year old on the continent toge probably actually equal highest rated. Three year old in the world at the moment with a day are paris period the highest rating test in the world. This these are the so they 'lustration of why the buyers come here year. After year and further afield domestic spending is the highest rated force in the north america. So this is a sale with a global influence. And that's i think the key to its appeal a trick question now of the book one bonus. Now we don't and five or six years ago. I eat my member. I did ask at the time. It seemed strange to me to be offering the twenty thousand pounds bonus the whole from clun. When i thought at the time it might be more used to support horses in book two of three and you explained very well at the time it was the case that it was in book one every now and again when i say a host that was bolt for more than five hundred thousand guineas and it's appetizer. Wanted twenty thousand pounds is still sometimes things. Does that make much difference. Can you just remind me the case to the defense of why that bonuses attached book. Well i'm going to pick up on case for the defence sarah. I think i think we should feel the need to defend giving owners twenty thousand pounds extra prize money when they will remain of. That's just semantics. Why why would it be in bookstores. executive mail coming from martin and done we have very much always felt that the best jailings that we offer deserve to be rewarded with the best possible prize money that we can. We can offer. And i think it's entirely appropriate book one year if they if they win good maidens and they have to win good maidens to these bonuses. These class two three and four maidens and novices. So they're very competitive. The these effectively at the highest class that we sell get rewarded. The most and the owners that are digging the deepest get base rewards. But that doesn't get away from the equally fundamental premise. That we have always been very mindful to try and broaden the appeal of one of the octavian sale to as wide a possible audiences as we can and that equally the key to the bonus. Message that you don't have to come to the sale and spend even the average price of a ailing but while which isn't excessive two hundred thousand guineas. We want people to come here in the knowledge that they can spend twenty thousand guineas upwards of one and find an a two year old that is capable of winning it's purchase price and or training fees the eighth in one hit and that equally is the key to the bookworm bonus and it's we've had two hundred fifty winners of bonuses today since its inception and more than six and a half million pounds worth of bonus prize money which is massive but key key to that is that nearly a hundred of those winners have been purchased for one hundred thousand guineas on less these one hundred thousand. Make no mistake. It's a it's a lot of money. But in terms of accessing the best yearlings in europe if not the world that's a very reasonable investment and to see the likes of boxer shadow. Andrew buildings too euro is dark angel cold this year. Forty thousand guineas book one purchase last year winning his maiden in may i think it was and then going on to win the coventry on his next star. He cost forty thousand guineas. He neared them paid for himself winning his maiden and then when the coventry if that's a massive statement in terms of bookworm these guys they come here they're not just buying quality they're not just they are getting rewarded at the same time. This is very very important especially in in this age where every penny a prize. Money is crucial if we can if we can put more prize money in the pockets of as many as we can. I think that's fantastic and it's been been genuinely rewarding for us to see the owners and trainers engaging with the concept of the balloon bonus. It's brought people to the sale. That would not have come under previous circumstances and broke it both owners and trainers and that's the key to it. They recognized the scheme that it's not just about one race which rewards of a small number of people on day of the year. You can get beaten in your first stab at one bonus in april may and still be going in october november and landing. There's so much opportunity out there. And that's i think.

"Racing post tom. Turner join this time by textiles. Martin director jimmy george. Hello tom welcome jamie jamie. You've just wrapped up textile. Some of yelling set a new market saint very buoyant. What was your reading of the markets. Speaking as objectively as you can't even even trying to take off my tablet selena cap to a to a certain degree which obviously doesn't come easily You'd have to say it was a a really good sale one day sale but it had a great deal from from stop to finish and i think the fake figures suggest it was. It was exactly that very very solid saleh compared with last year sale turnover was double the average median one million miles of doubling last year's equivalent. And those were record levels themselves. So i think by any standards you'd have to say it was a good stop. The tassels yelling sales season just recapped. Why was there an inaugural tetsu somerville yearling sale under that name and a new market for second game when invading ask for what. What was the reasons behind effectively. Replaces what was the tassels. Ascot yearling sale last year. We didn't have any choice but to move the asked ailing sale to tattersalls park parrots. Because so the obvious reasons related and it went very well record average median. Everything currents weight right. It was really good and it just seemed to make sense to make that move of permanent one and the same time we felt it was appropriate to rebranded hence the tassell. Some of the leading sad. Yeah looking at the stars aligned. It turned out to be a relatively easy decision. And very well supported. I have to say by. The vendor was who rose to the challenge. You know. obviously we're trying to encourage them to support the sale with slightly fairly large number of yearlings but also trying to attract quality precocious commercial dealings to go with the the macon shape of the sale as we see it in terms of developing developing over the years and no confidence and their willingness to go with us on that i think was very well rewarded and we were thrilled. Talk price about a hundred and twenty thousand guineas more fifty thousand guineas plus yearlings at the salesman in all its previous previous renewals put together. I think that tells a pretty graphic story now before we get into moaning secrecy stuff about sales and such look. You just a bit more about yourself for those who have the misfortune of not knowing you tell us about your background. How long working at saxon what you day that. It's almost the historical thickened marking so look. I started here back in. Nineteen eighty six low than the wastepaper basket in the stock sales room. And yeah thirty five hundred years later. I'm still bumbling along and marketing director. I've been in that role the second of twenty years. Now and yeah. Look i'm i'm i'm. I'm lucky boy. Anti to work for a company like tattersalls. For as long as i have. You know. there's still tolerating me. But what do you want a daily basis. What would your role intel when when you on a non sales day what what you coming office and do the role of the marketing team. And we're very much team. I'm just all of the team is to try and spread the gospel according to tassels and as far as wide as we possibly can mean the primary aim is to bring the buyers in but you covering the buys in without having the whole to attract them in the first place so it's it's a multifaceted role in that respect. It doesn't matter where we're trying to get horses into the sales all buys to come here to buy them you know. The marketing role is to say to spread the tattersalls gospel Domestically britain island hugely important. Where nothing with is a strong domestic demand that strong domestic market but equally to get that message out globally. As well and the corset. Any normal year we would. We would stress normal we would we would attract buys from forty plus different countries and every continent in the world so it's a global business and our job is to make sure that We we keep reminding people. The this is europe's leading the whole market-leading sales in in every sector. And i assume mocked thing has changed massively since when you first started because obviously you'd have to be very very digitally minded now as we found out where it took you about ten minutes to click on the link to come into this. Podcast you're very differently minded person. How does that go. Thank you for that mouth. Spot natural look has changed a lot. Since since i've been here it's changed quite a lot in the last eighteen months in terms of the rollout of auxiliary ways to participate in in bloodstock sales. There's always some positives to come of every setback. You know in response to the challenges posed by kobe. We had to roll out the live. Internet bidding pretty sharpish telephone. Bidding isn't itself particularly innovative. But that's a very useful out onto as well which is widely used but the internet side of things alive into their side of things is with us to stay and a very important task of of every sale we stage now and that's an innovation that it was always there. We rolled it. I've actually decade or so ago with very little take-up readiness us for it. So we kind of mouthful so it wasn't that difficult to reintroduce it but yeah everything we do is in relies far more on technology when i started and you just go onto our website now and look at the page devoted to every single lot. And there's a massive amount of information. Now they're from simple things like videos and pictures which they both but without technology. We didn't have them when i started. Here it's fantastic for bars to be able to avail of this sort of information the cla button and it will continue to. It'll continue to develop as well and it's our responsibility to to roll these innovations actors quickly and effectively as we can you posting tweets yourself under the tax account. Martin do. I got an extremely team. Were relieved me of that. Like flying around on social media. But i i can. I can digest the content dodgers composted moving swiftly on i'm i'm poking digital capabilities all time you'll be much safer ground. Also it's the. It's the mass time of year for tattoos coming up. Toby ailing sales how the preparations going but can look forward to good. I mean it's always a time of year that you look forward to enormously because that's that's what we work for. All year round is effectively building up to our principal sales season which begins with one of the october yearling sale and so it is an exciting time to nerve wracking time as well as a lot at stake. The vast majority of our annual turnover takes place between the first week october. And the first week of december so it's hugely important for us. And yes. There's always an element of apprehension. The the obvious issues a everybody's endured globally haven't made the last eighteen months straightforward but as we know from last year the october yearling sales at tattersalls i think were virgin miraculous at times and demonstrated an extraordinary resilience considering what everybody was having to endure in terms of cetera et cetera. We- we've lost two sales. We staged here the order sale. And and the somerville yelling southbound just yesterday with the first two sales we staged without any real or whether restrictions. We're band business as usual. And that i think the most important thing and the biggest positive as we look forward to but one of the octavian sale. We're back to tassels.

"His drive for you, I guess is hot Toddy for me. So I wanted to welcome Mr Dan. Ask you to the show. Are you there, Dan? I am here. Good morning. How are you? I'm fantastic. Are you super good? Hey, e mean are you s O. Of course. Dan Lasky is the owner of Tattersall the ceiling. Um and long time bartending veteran of all things and you guys are on the kind of the cutting edge of The whiskey situation that's happening in town. You guys have just launched bonded bourbon and I have been using it in all my hot toddies. So it's wonderful, E. No. Will you tell us a little bit about what bonded bourbon is? Because since you're the expert Yeah, Bonded. Bourbon is bourbon that is made in a single distilling season so you can basically make it. Um, as we made within six months and, um So it all. Good answer. 100 proof, So it's strong in delicious. Um, but Yeah, It's um It's really just a way for the government toe. Say that this is made here. They didn't source. The booze. It's not blended. Um, it was just kind of a control factor for the government. Long go, you guys you guys have have made the first bonded bourbon in Minnesota now since Prohibition. Is that right? That's what this is. That's correct. In fact, I mean, I don't even know one that was made here before Prohibition, right? We just couldn't verify that. So we just said the first one since Prohibition. Why not pick a date and go, right? Right. So then you also did a ride. Do you did arrive with it as well? Right? Well, so we did a weeded bourbon. That's it and then high rise, Berman. OK, so Bourbon basically is 51% corn. And then Um, what has you know? There's gonna be wed there might be. I mean, you could put really any grain in there to test me 51% corn. Um, ours are basically said you 1% corn that you got 35% either wheat or the high rye, and that's what's different between the two. I think they're really fun to drink side by side. I don't know if you've got the chance to do that, but, um The ride definitely has, like a really nice kind of spice thing going on where the weed is a lot more mellow lot more tainment hasn't a sweetness to it? Is there. Do you think that we are now? Finally. I mean, I know this is sort of a loaded question. Maybe, but like, I sort of feel like we're finally in a space in Minnesota, where these Berman's that you guys are all releasing are really, really like richly flavored and more. I don't know they're more true to what I think about as a whiskey goes and less of those Freshii. Weird, You know, flavors that come from young bourbons. I guess I don't know is that if you think that that's writer and I just sort of imagining No, I think you're right on the money. It just it takes time, you know, And so now, all of the distillers they have been making bourbon in Minnesota. It Z finally kind of like coming to age. It's a mature enough to drink. You know, if you have Ah, young whiskey. It's gonna be really kind of Grainy in the middle on the middle palate like now, you kind of get that full bodied, Very rich bourbons coming on because they've been sitting world for, you know, for six years. Um, so yeah, it's just it's just taking time. And how are things that tattersall going? Generally how you managing through Colvin? Well, things are good. I mean, we've been doing uh like The take out. Curves that cocktails We've been selling our tonic like conserved form, which is really actually delicious. Um, yeah. I mean, things are actually pretty good. We're doing innovating a tough things for the future. So Yeah. Is the cocktail room open? No, no, no. Okay. And we I mean, at 50% capacity. It doesn't really work and things are actually moving around in there right now, Um, if you walked in the cocktail room today, you'd see that it's just filled with barrels, Actually. Okay, so it's become actual predictable space. Yeah, we're using the state's right now. So And that's good, because it means that you guys haven't least you know you're moving. Your business is still flowing. So that's nice. Yeah, I mean, the soonest will open. The cocktail room will be like when Patio season makes sense. So I got it. I think so. Eh, So let's talk sense is not patio season other than the hot toddy patio season right now, tell me a little bit about so if you're gonna make a hot toddy Yeah. What is it? So I mean, like, I don't actually know. A hot toddy to me is a warm Personally, I think it's a warm whiskey drink, you know, Sort of like a heated up. You know, water with whiskey, Lemon. The classic is like lemon and honey, right. But then, like Dan, you have bartending experience up the wazoo. As we like to say, What is your idea of how do you make the perfect hot toddy? Well, we play around lately have been making like you could call a hot toddy. It's nowhere near a hot toddy. But, um, we got a new instant former for that is instant pot. Yes. You know what I'm talking about? We know what you're talking about. That thing is amazing. Dude, where you going in that? Also like we because we've been sitting outside having drinks with our neighbor's water up like the fire pit, but I was kind of fun. So, um, I've been taking rum and our promotion. So like Just a little bit. Um, polos, Annapolis core, Okay, and then a little bit of either maple syrup or honey. Then when I do that your almond milk in the instant pot, whipped that up. Blend in a little bit of pour that into the hot tub and then just top it with some cinnamon. It's like Really ridiculously good. That was kind of one of things like out.

"California now faces third and long 3rd and 14 at their own 36 yard line for down under two minutes In the third quarter, the Bears are leading By a score of 21 to 17 out traps. The boundary up top is there and they come with the blitz and nail. Um Garber's took a little too long to look around because sort of stayed in one spot. And so, the Oregon Ducks said, Thank you so much will take advantage of that. And Chris Williams, along with Played macho e to bring him down as a safety blitz that time as a quarterback. You have to see that coming little delay blitz there, but you have to see that. No it cause you're not gonna have that picked up. That's not gonna be accounted for in your offensive line. And so if you don't see it if you don't recognize it You're gonna get yourself in trouble. All right. Bear's punch. Wow takes a bounce kind. Almost The reverse bounce, But down at the 34 yard line is where Oregon will take the ball. So under a minute to go in the third quarter. When he won 17 California battling it out with the Ducks. Defense has to be sound right. The big difference in this game is too huge plays that they gave up in the passing game. Turn. The Travis died on the sideline in jail in red down the sideline right before half. They have to be sound in coverage here. Oregon gets several plays and drive that's fine. Just keep them bend. But don't break and be sound. Don't allow the big play. Right. Tyler shucking his offense of the 35 yard line from our rights or lefty Oregon 35 handoff sweep around the left side. On the Bears. Bring him down is to get out across the 42, maybe to the 43 yard line. Tattersall on the stop for California, but a good run on that play for first doubt about seven yards. Should be maybe the last play of the third quarter. Right here. They sent two receivers out wide to the right. They got a tight end just off the line of scrimmage to the right. No receiver to the left The short side running play old got some space over the left side and could have been a really big play. If they're one bear hadn't saved the play. I'm really turning into a massive run by Travis died but was buying him there was able to stop him and that will end the third quarter as they get 12 more yards and we get a first down in Cal territory as we get ready for the start of the fourth quarter. So let's take a break. This is Cal football driven by your Northern California Toyota dealers from their field. I am G college. So if that answers all your questions about your new cloud storage. "Folks. I'm talking to Roger Stone. He's wearing a tattersall. That's the cut away. Collar, extreme cutaway collar. Do not be distracted by those things. If you're watching this on video, try to focus on the substance of our conversation. You just said to us. Roger that. You do believe that bar. I mean, we could just put him to the side. He's useless at best. He's useless at worst. I don't think that's fair. At this point. He's done real damage. I was just gonna say at best, he's useless. But on the other hand, it strikes me that probably he has done great damage and it's it's disconcerting because what he does is he gives comfort to the enemy to those people who are saying there's nothing to see. There's nothing to see. Keep going. Keep going. President Elect Biden's gonna gonna be taking a picking his Cabinet. That to me is just gas lighting. It Zalkind of madness that has taken over the country and they're just a handful of people like us who seemed to see what It is clear that we cannot proceed. This man Joe Biden can under no circumstances be inaugurated as the president unless we get to the bottom of what Happened. Do you have any confidence that we will Uh, you know, I'm still praying about it, to be honest with you because I think the power of the forces arrayed against us is It's really awesome. It will take the help of God to win this because of the awesome power of the paid media of the broadcast cable media, the broad censorship of the Internet media this thing establishment at all levels, including the judicial level who are aligned against us. That makes Victory very difficult to see the time of the facts. Will the system here to save time in the future when you're referring to that broad array of people just say Pharaoh's army? Can you do that will save a lot of time. We'll save a lot of time. Pharaoh's army is arrayed against us. They're bearing down on us. We are pinned at the Red Sea. I've said precisely the same thing. We need nothing less than a genuine miracle of God. But you know, and I know God is in the business of miracles. So the quit the question, though, Roger, What we're talking about here is how many people seem to have accepted. This false narrative. Pharaoh's army is bearing down There is no hope. Get used to it. We're going to be if we're not killed. We're gonna be taken back into bondage. So let's just praise God and go back into bondage. There's nothing we can do. That is the narrative that I'm getting from most of Fox News. Lou Dobbs has been amazing. Hero. Who else out there sees what we see. You know, it's very, very few people. There are probably many people in the media who see what we see. But unfortunately, they don't have the courage to say so because they fear for their careers. People like Sean Hannity and Tucker Carlson have been a beacon in this entire area. They know that those views are now unpopular Fox, but they're honest and they expounds them. I just use them as two examples, But there's a handful of people who will call out the truth. Here's a better question. What do we do about this? And the answer is twofold. First and foremost, we pray we pray fervently because God can fix this. God can lead us to victory, secondarily. We have these peaceful, nonviolent stop the steel rallies across the country every Saturday in the state capitals. There's a big one coming up December 12th in Miami in front of the Freedom Tower, which is now a museum is the building where they used to process to have been immigration. Who can, the United States? For freedom. These kinds of mass public events show others in the country. No, it's not feudal know our support is not going to lay. No, nobody's not for Donald Trump. Millions are for him. Millions are with us in this fight. The mainstream media won't report that Pharaoh's Army will not report that And that's why on Lee in numbers is their strength. You go to stop the steel dot us and see a full schedule of public events. They're free their peaceful there safe because we are raising money for security. This is what I recommend folks to do. Take to the streets in a peaceful way. But that way you can let your voice be heard. Wait a minute. Are you saying in what could be racist? Are you implying that looting is not peaceful? Is that what you're saying? I don't recommend that anybody go out looting. I don't recommend that we solve this problem to violence very easy for you as a privileged white man. To say that people shouldn't lewd. I'm offended at what you've just said. I think, Louise who start a peaceful expression of our our first Amendment, rights, looting and smashing and burning. Come on, Roger. Get with the times. OK s O. Stop the steel dot U S, uh, you said there are how many of these it's on Lee in the swing states. Did you say because he did say Miami? That's not a swings. No, no, they're actually With thee there almost always protests in every capital, even in the capital's where that are not in swing states because our movement is so large down. Trump got 73 Million votes 10 million votes more than you got in 2016. It appears that he got 26% of the African American vote almost 31% or 32% of the Hispanic American vote these air historic inroads to then tell us in the next breath. Oh, but he lost. Sorry. I'm not buying it. But taking to the streets for Peaceful protests right now and let our numbers be counted isn't working counterweight on the fake media narrative that the president's support is crumbling. It's dwindling. Nobody's for this guy. I know the American people are overwhelmed mainly for this guy. Why? Because he won a majority of the legal votes cast. Just.

"Cal bears football on KGO A 10 OK, the bears they get a field goal 31 yards having to settle for that. Now we're gonna wait to kick off here, pal With the early leads Frida. Nothing over the Bruins. And I know Bill going back to his days with love with Bay Area teams and s. So he's in that role. Now. Here's the kickoff. It is taken right at the goal line. And so the Bruins will run it back out to the 20 to about 21 yard line for U C. L A and running back for the Bruins was Kick returner was Felton Demetrick. Felton carrying the ball and Trey. "Sonic. Dan will send in his brother and friends. That was a great song of the day. Do you remember Trip? Shakespeare's Dio? Yes. John Munson Elaine, the drummer, standup drummer. Yes, I do. Remember. She was so awesome. Yeah, it was the best reason to go see those guys to watch her play drums standing up like Sheila E's a standard drummer, too. Um, you guys there was some news that broke yesterday that I think we should just discuss as a foodie situation could not wait to ask you about the Yeah. The announcement was made yesterday that these thoroughly beer hall is going to be closed indefinitely beginning November 2nd. They were also closed yesterday, So I'm not quite sure why they didn't open yesterday, but It's interesting because there's a lot of hubbub about it because on August 31st thesis, early management was notified that their employees were trying to unionize. Yes, And they decided the next day to release a statement that said due to Cove, it That they need to close because they can't make any money by being closed the entire winter and with large gatherings, not in the imminent future. They felt like it was in the best interest too close, so People are sad. That certainly is closing because that beer hall was very revolutionary, and it was one of it busted the laws where it allowed people that distributed Minnesota made beer to also have you drink it in their beer hall. So they created this early bodies, too. And it's so close to the station. We'd meet there all the time for Work meetings, and it was just had a cools vibe. It was the first place that I went because it was close. And I don't know when I moved here. I'm like, okay, I know I can get there. You know, you know where it is a city Yeah, I love it. I had a great cheese plate tried a lot of their beers. They have re pier. They have great food. A lot of great employees. They will still be brewing beer for sale in cans and obviously in kegs, But there is a lot of people that are feeling very The word they used in. A lot of the comments is disgusted about that. They feel like this timing really coincides with trying to bust the union. And there are a lot more restaurant folks and distillery folks talking about unionizing to get benefits and her cell did it. Yep. Higher hourly wage. Tattersall Sze employees just voted a couple weeks ago and decided to unionize. Gather the first in the nation. Yes. So Do you think? What do you think that is really going on? Because the other thing that I also read is that they? They got help from the government like 2 to $5 million with You know the PPP money PPP money, right? So Is that what's going on? And also where they opened in this? Meantime, because every time I went there was always awaiting. You always had a weight There was it was just jammed with people and I know that they'd have to worry about, you know the spacing. You know, the distancing and everything, But yes, people were still going. Yes, but the covert environment is a really thing and right through no fault of anybody is I love how quick the commenters air on Facebook. Teo, you know, Governor Walls is shutting down the state of Minnesota and ruining businesses for everyone, regardless of You know what your point of view is on that we do have a pandemic. We haven't been in one before, and nobody knows the answers all these questions. But one thing we do know is that enclosed environments that aren't properly ventilated. We have had spread. So, however you feel about that, and whatever your politics are. That's pretty factual. Att. This point And I think as a business owner, it's hard to mitigate all of that for your employees for your customers for your guests, and you know you can't take any of these venues. Whether it's early or whether it's butcher and bore which also announced that they were closing and what you know. Half of the people in there or 25% of the people and make any money. Right. What is a little sad and this is just my personal opinion, but Like with butcher and boars announcement that they were closing. They were like, Yeah, due to Cove it and due to the unrest in downtown Minneapolis. This was also a line that was used by The folks in uptown at Public, Jax, they say like that. It's due to the unrest and the you know, obviously Cove. It is a big part of it. Maybe the unrest is part of it. But like with butchering bore they hadn't been paying their liquor taxes for almost a year, allegedly, so there's more problems happening behind the scenes. And when your employees are trying to unionize, usually that's an indicator of not having faith and management are not feeling valued as employees, So there's always where there's smoke. There's fire, usually in some regard. Right? Yeah, about 110 employees trying to get together in union. So it's a large chunk of people who all feel the same way and want change, You know? Yeah. So you wonder like that's just not one disgruntled employee That's not too disgruntled employees. I have to say, though, is a former business owner myself. That's what I was just gonna tell you Just how do you feel about this whole unionizing thing? I'm not a big fan of the unions. I'll be perfectly honest, I think that in the day When they were originated. They had a lot of value, and I think we could be getting to that a similar day. When you know you have very few rights for workers. Wages aren't improving Healthcare isn't improving. I see that that for certain industries, safety isn't improving and you're putting your workers at risk. That's what's bubbling up. All of this, not unlike it did in the I guess maybe the 19 twenties would have been a similar time frame, so that's kind of what's happening. So I don't know. I think it's just a really challenging time to be a business owner. And just all businesses. I mean, Hubbard broadcasting sales are down. Sales are down everywhere. Retail has just been decimated Restaurants, hospitality. Hotels, the tourism industry. You know, there are some bright spots. People are buying homes, so real estates great people. Health insurance is going through the roof. There are some other bright spots. Grocery obviously has done really well. But as a whole, it's just been a really challenging time. You know, I was just thinking there's a place where I get Like custom T shirts made for my ghost hunting team. You know if I want a new T shirt, and I'll just do one individual one. You don't have to do a bunk and I thought, Oh my gosh, they're probably struggling. I love them. It's big frog in Woodberry, and I'm thinking, Gosh, there's no events right now. Nobody has us. You know, kids aren't playing soccer. You know, there's not all of these sports team rights going on or group teams Bowling leg lock. So I mean, honestly, how How are they going to survive? And when you think about, you know, I don't know how they're doing. It's just a little element. I was also I saw an ad for makeup remover like I used these makeup remover wipes, Neutrogena. Those are great wipes. Yeah, take my makeup off at night, and the ad was targeted towards Um, if you're not in using makeup right now, you still need to clean your skin, because when you think about it, so many people were working from home, they're not wearing makeup. Makeup sales are probably down and they're not taking that makeup.

S. C. on the return but it's gonna turn back over which means it's gonna be first down for the bears out and it's going to amount to a loss of about six yards thirty set down so let's say let him sort it out did you have to decline the penalty if you want the ball there are discussing it first of all this is number forty one during the return is the client keep the ball first down let it go sophomore from American Samoa is guilty of the panel they reserve in special teams player on defense for you I say the same player that that put that hit on Tattersall on the take off yeah and he's the one who got the big hit.

John I know don't you think of her past Ryan Seacrest his writing doesn't have any kind of a no he doesn't have a restaurant. he doesn't wow okay well yeah get on that I mean seriously but then there's something new is coming to the north loop there's a new distillery coming to the north loop which is going to be called still hurt distillery in cocktail lounge it's the first woman owned distillery in the north loop and it's ever been to lawless distilling which is a cute little distillery in Seward they do the Christmas bar every year yeah I mean Americal so while this does this Christmas barber you're the deck of the entire place and it's turns into I mean for like I think for thanksgiving onward you know and but their owner they say they kinda **** the one of the owners of that she split she's older ownership in that so that she could open another one because you can't have ownership in two separate ones yeah there's a lot of law do you serve at a distillery it's just your spirits like you distill liquor that's and that's what you Sir yep and you have to and the way that the works in Minnesota is if you're a distillery like you are making your own spirit you can only serve your own spirit so you at like in other states I've you know I've gone to distillery tap rooms in the other states and cocktail rooms and it's like they can serve you other things along side of it but here if you're making you know gin and vodka and Bourbon that's the that's what you said what you said okay you don't get now you can serve non alcoholic mixer kind of things in there but anything that's a liqueur or the government was that also you have to make you can't just buy it good grief so that's why Tattersall distillery which is in the northeast if you've ever been there is a very complete cocktail room and a cocktail list because they have worked really hard to make elixirs and you know little spirits and like besides bidders which are technically alcoholic innovators and tonics and all that stuff they work to make those so that your drinks are matter but yeah it's hard because that's what that's the weird or can anyone open the moonshine cafe up yeah yeah. I know what this one busy have it if you should actually read that. yeah could serve Jason's busy..

"The whole story at MSG mag dot com it's kind of interesting but it is it is I mean you have to kind of it's it's your choice suspension of disbelief and an openness to believe other things our rates when that is there for you for the reading we're gonna go ahead take a break and we'll be right back it's true in even at any time in your life in the same as you age you should pick up an instrument or learn something completely new the band yeah I want to do something different with you like in addition to that what we so many years we don't have any and I feel like maybe you when I try to pick up an instrument with the band yeah I need talent yeah you need to I think you know what I'm saying bringing you everything entertainment Lori and Julia on my top one of seven one black along it soul I've talked a lot about Tattersall distilling and they have an app so if you are wondering like Hey I heard stuff you talk about how to make love region and tonic you can find it on the Tattersall app they have tons of cabin recipe is and batch cocktail recipes as well as just single serve drinks I learned about aqua V. from Tattersall and I was like okay other than putting this in a bloody Mary I don't know what to do with that and they said just think of it as Scandinavian Jen so you can use it on bloody Marys you can use it in place of Jan for more complex cocktails so you could use it with another type of flavoring yeah and it makes a delicious dirty martini also they've got the orange come out great for grandma.
