"Did you hear this horrific story about a Fort Worth mother who? Well. Bought this five year old child before the sun rose in Fort Worth. The other day five year old little girl was walking around alone in the cold. It was very cold that morning. And she was lost. And she had no idea where she was. It was in the forties. Can you imagine a five year old girl unaccompanied before the sun was the son is about to rise? She's awake. Five in the morning with no coat on walking around. Can you imagine? A police officer. Thank God saw her and scooped her up. I believe somebody called in and said, hey, you know, there's an accompanied child a little child walking around without a coat on officers. We're able to help her. She couldn't even tell exactly where her apartment was. But she held the cops. Somehow, maybe the cops went into the apartment or whatever. Who knows they found out where she was from. And they went to her apartment and they gained access. I don't know if they kick the door in or Fe, I'm gonna guess they gained access by going taking a little girl to the know to the people at department and saying. What you know? Where's the contact person for this place? Okay. Get out of here and let them in there. Find out where they're at. And they did and in there, they found no adult, but they heard a crying baby crying baby is an eighteen month old baby. Boy, who was crying and was stuffed in a closet. The police figured that the five year old girl was apparently watching these small baby the eighteen month old baby. And had not knowing what to do with a crying, baby. And so put it in the closet and went out. I don't think we can hold a five year old responsible for that. I mean, she's doing what she thought was best. She doesn't know what she's doing. And so they're working the cops trying to figure out this and say where the parents, and they were at the scene when the mother returned to the apartment explaining that. She was returning from the job that she works at overnight. She worked at a hospital. Both children are on harmed. And channel eight did a big story over the weekend on this and really kind of set the record straight for us. And gave us the perspective. I mean, the anchor gave us the perspective, the reporter gave us the right perspective. And even they got a guy was amazing. They got a guy who apparently is an expert in this to also give us the reasons for this. And apparently everything's okay. Apparently, this is really not that big of deal, and the mother really apparently did didn't do anything wrong because she's a single mom. That's kind of what the message was from channel eight, and I guess that's just. How how this is supposed to be looked at? So let's play that audio for you. But before you judge the mother, there's more you might want to consider. John mckay. So before you judge her don't judger, let's hear there's more you might want to consider because you might go. Oh, the most important thing to report is that these children were not hurt. Police think this is probably a case where a single mom was in a difficult situation. And she made the wrong decision. She it's it's not a she's not a bad person. She is a tough situation. Maybe it wasn't the best decision. But it's really not her fault. Guys. We shouldn't judge her faced with missing work or leaving the kids. She left them a bad decision. But sometimes single moms and dads only have that option said there was no choice. How dare you middle class or upper middle class suburban parent. How dare you judge this woman? You don't know what it's like to be a single parent. That's woman's a hero. She's a hero. She's she's a single mom. She's a single Lonzo heroes. There's no choice. There's there's only bad choices. You did this tour. She didn't do anything wrong. It's there's no good choices channel eight by the way is all the reporters and the story. They're making it clear that it really is not her fault. And when you do you got to make choices and her chores was probably the pair rent, buy some food and stay inside. And you know, she can come home everything be, okay. Yeah. It's overnight say come on. They're going to sleep. You guys are so me channel eight's, right? Don't judge her and they found this expert guy. Hey, it's probably a choice between feeding the kids or not feeding the kid. Look, what do you wanna do starve or children? She didn't have any other option. There were no good options. You are such a judgmental person. If you think this woman's wrong if you think CPS should investigate. Gate this woman. How dare you take the law got a year? I before you point out the spec in this woman. Hey, she was working at a hospital, probably a nurse. I don't know. Would you ever do stay home and starve the children when it comes to childcare? A recent study found like a lot of urban counties in Texas Tarrant county is lacking these happened in Tarrant Tarrant county's fault. It's the actual government. Intern counties fault. They're not providing affordable healthcare. It's it's their fault. Now, I was a single parent one town with two small children and had a major illness had a real good job. And you know, it doesn't take long when you can't one or not mobile and you're still for thanks to crash. There's just one thing away from just not having anything. So this mother really didn't do anything that was really wrong. That's what they're saying. There's more. But I wanted to just get that out. Let's not judge. She's kind of hero. And you know, she apparently works at a hospital. So she just needs our help this. This is more on us. What do you say to that eight hundred two eight eight WBZ is our number eight hundred to eight eight nine two two seven. Can I tell you something I think this is a load of Bs. I think this is a big fat low to be us. That's what I think. I have a friend who is unique. I believe in that he is a he was a single dad for several years raising his two daughters, and I am so proud of him. And I love him so much. He is a champion to me because he raised those two girls and did it and I need to reach out to him and ask him, but I don't think he ever left his two girls alone. Let alone in eighteen month old baby and a six five with a five year old child. It is disgusting. It is not acceptable. And there's always a way to work it out. There is no excuse for a single parent to abandon in eighteen month old baby with a five year old baby boy baby girl because you have to go to work that is not an excuse. And I would think that you could work with your employer to figure out a schedule that would work, and I would think that if you work hard like a dog, and yeah, it would be hard. Let me tell you. How Newby dang heart. But I would think an employer would work with an employee who was very valuable, and I cannot excuse a woman abandoning a five year old in eighteen month old because she had to go to work because it was another option. I don't I don't believe that. Now, you are perhaps a single parent or you perhaps know somebody, but I'm gonna guess I hope that you agree with me on this. Because if not if you literally want to blame Tarrant county for this. If you literally want to blame the situation on everybody, but this woman, then I have a big problem with that eight hundred two eight eight.

"Keep the big news of the day, seriously, but not much else. Here's your participation trophy. The Danish show. I don't know about it. I mean, you're telling me something I don't know about we have a lot of ads. And they certainly are effective based on the numbers that were saying. A lot of things that are offensive. Your questions are offensive a lot of time. So, you know. Yeah. Your questions offensive. So, you know, there you go my gosh that is the president of the folks in the media yesterday, which I thought was pretty funny. Welcome to the show second hour of the program. Addi lash on Twitter official on Facebook. It is election day huge voter turnout. And Steve what was the thing that you were telling us on break real quick when you were talking about early numbers in terms of early voting. What did you say, oh, I just saw statistic it was like total early voting. So far this year is outpacing all votes in two thousand fourteen by thirteen million. So that just shows you how. Yeah. How credibly big to turn out as well? There's early voting in twenty eight states that already surpassed twenty fourteen levels, which is in. I mean, that's pretty people are are turning out. So they're already this mid-term. You have more people turning out this midterm than in the previous. So I think that's pretty significant as well. And the I know in Texas there are about eight hundred Republicans in terms of early turnout had a little over eight hundred thousand more than Democrats turning out, Florida. Turn out is insane. Kentucky turnouts, pretty high. All kinds of stuff. So I mean, it it is it's pretty wow, pretty amazing to see eight four four three or four four Dana. I want to go, and because some folks have been some folks have been out there voting, and I want to hear what their experiences are going to Jenin, Indiana and Hamilton county calling on line three, Jen. Welcome to the show, and what was your voting experience. Like did you vote today? Or did you early vote? I voted today. I like the ceremony of it. So I wanted to go on voting day and actually in a very small precinct. They told me there was like four hundred eligible voters and this morning. They're already been two hundred that had been through that very small pre. Thanks. So I only waited five minutes, but the turnout is high. Definitely it's exciting in Indiana. And all of the commercials, I'm getting tax. I'm getting Mailer daily for the Senate race is super exciting. And I guess superclubs because they're still out with all of the advertisement. Wow. Yeah. You inspire me so much. So I just wanted to tell you that. And you really are the ones who got me interested in politics, and I just appreciate your show so much for that. Well, thank you so much. I appreciate those kind words. And I'm so glad that you voted. Yes, I'm humane MMMM. So I'm here. Thank you so much for calling in. Appreciate it you to calling him from Hamilton county in Indiana. We have Sam calling in from Ohio online one. Sam welcome to the program. Your voting experience the election day, they're happy election day to you. So you said I have up here, you you couldn't vote absentee or you did vote absentee. Now, I could not vote absentee, basically. I just turned eighteen past August, I'm from Michigan and a resident of Michigan. And what happens like this since college in Ohio? So I registered to vote. It told me that I cannot get an absentee ballot for the first time that I vote I vote that you have to be in my home that initially again, and we ask for that. Can I request for women, college and other states? The problem is at this. This is my first election that I could vote in now. But since I'm in Ohio in college here, I can't have that vote and even. Again, because next time same thing also getting college here in Ohio, and I'm stuck again, and I was really can vote. And I just turned eighteen is the first time I was gonna boat. But now, it's like I'm stock, and it's really it's really strange that has such a situation where I'm a citizen of America eight years old and just like that. And I can't vote. I just thought never heard. I've never heard of that. Yeah. That's that's something. I've never heard of that. But yeah. He will be kind of. I mean, I'm just trying to think of like all the college kids that are turned eighteen that are very interesting. Well, I don't have to look into that. Because I've never heard of that before I haven't even that's the first time I've ever heard of anybody having their problem though. But wow, seem I appreciate your call. No with our Kononov Ohio season, Ohio from Michigan. And that's how the absentee interesting Tyler has been waiting in line was waiting in line at six AM in Indiana this morning because that's dedication. Tyler welcome to the show. All right. Thank you. Thank you. Yeah. I'm a construction worker. I got through the Bloomberg fix. And I'd never seen so many yellow and orange shirt there before. Wow. That's awesome. How long did you wait in line at six AM? About an hour. Fifteen my boss. Understood. Show right now. So we're gonna fire me. Yeah. Don't fire him because he went and he voted and he voted to I'm assuming voted for lower taxes, and to make sure that we keep our jobs, and that we're not exporting jobs or bringing in you know, people to take jobs all that. Good stuff. Correct. Of course. Of course. Yes. See don't fire. Give him a raise if you're listening. Yeah. That's right. We're just gonna go in good economy. Booming are happier. There you go see, and we need to keep it that way as well. That's awesome. Tyler I appreciate your call calling. And God bless you. I appreciate it costs going in there. Six AM, very cool in the very very cool. So this. I'm happy to see that actually. And I forgot to ask about the snacks. But I'm assuming that they probably do. I'm just gonna assume that because then people are so nice. I'm just assuming that they did. So a lot of the I wanna look really quickly some of the early voting where it's outpacing the previous midterm, Utah, Nevada. Arizona, Texas, Tennessee, Montana, Florida, New Mexico. Georgia North Dakota, North Carolina. I will Kansas Maryland, Ohio, West Virginia, Wyoming, Idaho, Illinois, DC, Minnesota, Vermont, Maine, Massachusetts, Wisconsin, Indiana, Louisiana, Oklahoma and New Jersey that is where voting is actually outpacing the previous midterm voting levels. So like, for instance, I am going to me screaming look here. I'm looking for instance, at Texas. It is. The I mean, you've this is I mean, these are the twenty eight states in India see where early voting has gone just completely beyond the last midterm and actually in many of these states it act his beaten the turn out that we saw four years ago. For instance, in Nevada, Utah, Nevada and Arizona it has exceeded the turnout from last midterm. In texas. It has exceeded the turnout last midterm. So those are the the four states where turnout has actually exceeded the twenty fourteen total. So that's huge in Tennessee. It is almost to that twenty fourteen total the early voting in Tennessee outpaced, the early the early vote the early advanced the advanced putting say in two thousand fourteen same with Montana, and Florida and New Mexico and the rest of them. I was really close Iowa. Just barely beat what they had in terms of advance for for midterms. And so I mean, this is this is significant now these races, particularly Arizona, and Texas this is where that's going to really come into play when their tallying votes at after polls close now where it neared 2014 levels because all of these the early voting outpaced two thousand fourteen in those twenty eight states now in states like down here, Washington, Colorado, and California, it neared those levels it neared those levels. So this is pretty big. I mean, this is I mean, it's pretty significant and we're going to I'm going to be looking at all of this. You know, as we as we go throughout the show. But that's I that is that's going to be really significant. And I think to also when we. It's always good to look at what the the highest up on the ticket and your state is doing because I think, you know, for instance, if you have one doing, well, you know, if you have to scientists doing well Scott could do well vice versa. So that's that's going to be interesting. Somebody asked how northwest Indiana turn out as looking I have no clue. It's one fifteen. So you know, it still could be early. But will but we'll see. But we know it is. Yeah. I mean. I'm I'm I'm stoked about it. I'm stuck. I think the turnout is going to be great so cool. Cool. Cool. Cool cool. In the meantime, let me see because we have. Oh my gosh. There's so much stuff to look at here. Four four three or four four Dana. And we're going to be getting your calls in also. This man, I have so much what Democrats are planning to do if they're able to flip the house and later on in the program, the warning signs, if you that well, this is how you know that the race isn't going to be going in for house or for your particular Senate race isn't going to be going. So well, we'll get into that as well. But just a, you know, like I said on Texas with that Senate race the reason that CNN doing that standup in Tarrant county is because beta beta Aurora can't win unless he flips Tarrant Tarrant and flippant he is the most. And that's why battleground Texas, they have been and a lot of democrat operatives they've been paying to relocate people here, and and try to create some sort of movement they paid a lot of people to relocate here. That's a fact so that's that's shows you how important that county is to them. You flip Tarrant county conflict, Texas. We're going to get more of your calls. And I want you to go anywhere because I want to hear when you voted what it was like a four four three four four Dana is the number to join the program, and we'll have the latest on some of the turnout as well when it comes to hiring their job sites at send you to descend you tons of wrong resumes to sort through. That's not smart, and it's not smart to use relatives to fill in. While you.

"I gave her a seven last week and I'm going to stick to my seven this week. I think she's we've found information that makes her more likely to win the game. But I think Tyler has a little less likely to take her to the end, which kind of everage is out to about where I had her last week at a seven. I think all of my ratings have been almost exactly the same so far. So not surprising for me. Brett, what do you think. Who is it l. Melissa Melissa celebrity, big brother. Yeah, anytime even harder. I know, right? I'm waiting for somebody that has your name Simone. I'm trying to give a name that similar to yours that would come in maybe Terry, Tarrant Tarrant something like that. I gave her an eight last week and I'm gonna give her in eight this week. I feel great about her chances to win at the end. And also she starting to build a little bit of a resume. The fact that she wants second Beato now shows it's not a fluke. Also she'll be able to reveal that. She won the hacker competition. So she has three competition wins. I think it was Taylor on Twitter who pointed out that the couch now has more competition wins than Haley, which is kind of jarring to think about it. Considering how we think of Holly. And I feel good about her social game to a point where I feel like she is the most likely person to be voted for shoes me. However, I feel like how. However, I feel like that everybody is starting to be aware of the fact that she continues to build a resume. I feel like the house also realizes, oh, she's building a resume. She may not be the best person to take the end. So I feel like her position within the game is Christine. There's no way that she is a victim even if angel and her on the buck Angelou Vito. I still think I don't think they send case home. I feel like Belsen Sam home or I don't know what they would do, but they wouldn't in case you home. I don't believe like everybody likes her and jury like ser and I feel like she can at least get to the final four and she is shown the ability to win a couple of competitions. Now, the competition's like final final four are a lot more memory base than I don't know how good she is. I some the question competitions. She hasn't been great at, but I'm hopeful that she could pull something out there and I feel pretty good about our chances overall Renate. Yeah, I agree with everything said, I think that she..
