"Welcome Tarek and Heather ray Al musso. Where'd you guys honeymoon? Maldives. By the way, there's nothing to do in the Maldives, except drink. Make a baby. And make a baby. Well, now that you threw that out there. There we go. Keep it going right to it. Are we having babies? We're having talks about having babies. Yes, we are. We're practicing having babies. Talk about open two. I'm more open to it because our life is already crazy. We're raising two kids. Yes. I'm already a mommy, so I'm like, well, why not just have one more, right? I told you. You should do you guys, I'm telling you, you get to all whatever it takes to do it, do it. So you want us to start over. I think you want us to start over. Well, it's a beginning for her. Exactly. Like, whatever she wants. We're gonna happy wife happy life. What are you guys embarrassed first? Go from there, and then see what happens. Enjoy being honestly. For like a few months. I see baby walk in the future. Oh, for sure. I said, I'm like, 'cause you have mom energy. I feel like you should do it. Okay, tell us, 'cause last time you were here, you didn't, you told us October, but you didn't tell us anything else. What was your favorite part of the wedding a specific detail that was really important to you that you were like, yes, it paid off. That's what it was. For me, it was riding our own vows to each other. Yeah, and riding our vows to the kids. And wrote vows to the kids. So I said my vows first then you know I was gonna cry and then he wrote vows to the kids, well, he's just spoke from his heart, I read mine. Oh my God, I read my vows to him and he read his vows to me. And that was so personal and beautiful. Without your favorite. That's what I was gonna say, but you stole my thumb yourself. I would have to say the pizza was the best part of the night because like late night after all the drinking, we had an amazing pizza. All of our guests say like thank goodness for that pizza that was their favorite time of the night. Of course, because everyone is so drunk that I need some food. And if there's not food, it's a bad time. Oh, what? Not good. I've been to a thousand weddings. Yes, you have something always goes wrong. What was the one thing that went wrong and you were like, you know what? Say might be. Well, for me, my day was perfect. I couldn't have gone better. I think everyone was catering more to me. It was easy. I was like, having the best day, and then I find out, and I kept asking me how to talk. How's tart? And then I found out later on, he had an awful day. What happened? Dying in a stage 5 no, no, I'm just kidding. Share all the details. So obviously, they should be focused on the bride, right? So it's like my day two a little bit. So I'm like, okay, what am I doing? I didn't have really good plans, and then the room we went to for the guys to get ready, the air conditioning wasn't working. I didn't have a bathroom. So then we were in the bathroom? It didn't have a bathroom. What were you doing in the room? It.

"People, I feel like that was, you know. I want my ex's front row to see how good I'm doing. Oh, my God. That was good. We are not quite done. Will you guys stick around? Yes. We will have more with these two after the break. Right? We are back with newlyweds, Tarek and Heather el Moussa and it's time to put your new marriage to the test. Oh, okay. We're going to ask you questions and you will close your eyes and point to the person for the answer. Okay. Let's start with close your eyes. Who said, I love you first. Oh, that's a tough one. Well, I know the answer. I know the answer. So we had the person. Well, she made me. She should tell me you love me. What's up? Okay, well fine. Yeah. I said, tell me you love me. This is on date number three. This is like day 7, yeah. Day 7. 7 days. So it was instantaneous. You guys just loved each other immediately. I think we moved into four days and it was like right away. Yeah. We decided to be exclusive before we even did the deed. I don't know how I got sucked into that one but it worked. Yeah. I didn't go for a test drive nothing. How did you guys meet again? And bought her Ferrari. But we met in Newport Beach on his bow on 4th of July 2019, and we were both down. He was down there. I was down there with girlfriends, saw a friend on his boat that I knew and jumped down there and then it was like, love at first. She had no chance. I saw her get on my bones. I asked my future wife. Who.

"Or else they could get seriously injured. What would you say is the biggest difference between deep water diving and regular diving, if you will. Well, we said, do you want to drive it, which has been someone going to descend all the way down? We need to have this kind of survivor attitude because we know that in deep water dive and just like all the extreme diving is just mental mental state of the person. Below 200 meters underwater, the light from the surface starts to fade away. It's Twilight down there. And you are surrounded by water. It's under you. It's around you. It's weighing down on top of you. And the worst thing you can do in that situation is panic. We always need to take all this emotion part of our mind and we keep practical and indoors. Because sometimes the emotion they could just lead to an accident. As you descend deeper and deeper into the blue hole, the pressure will start to affect you. Some divers say, with every ten feet, it feels like you've drunk a martini. And by the time you're hundreds of feet underwater, your body will also start reacting differently to the gas you're breathing in from your tank. You might become disoriented or make worse decisions, or even hallucinate. It's called nitrogen, narcosis. And sometimes the people you get into a level of 40 meter or something. And then this is narcotic effect. It will make them loads of the orientation. Or the buoyancy and the water and they start dropping of course. But that could happen anywhere. Anywhere where you went deep sea diving that would happen if you weren't careful. Of course, of course, of course. But it does happen at the blue hole, more than almost anywhere else. Tarek recovered his first bodies from the hole in 1997. There were two of them, diving partners. And since then, there have been more deaths. Some of them pretty high profile. There was the diver who recorded his own death on his helmet camera. Another one was an experienced technical diver, who was supporting someone on a free dive. There was a Russian man who'd made over 400 dives. Before he attempted the blue hole. The more people talk about the blue hole in the Red Sea, the more dangerous it seems to become. We all have this idea that it's that it's a really dangerous place that's associated with death. And you have seen that death, but it seems like somehow you haven't allowed that to affect your experience of the place. Is that true? Because I believe it's not the place is the reason of this misery. Just I feel sorry for the diaper went and never come back. I feel sorry for them from family and for loved ones. And I always get sad because I know two hours before he was happy laughing and having a holiday and everything. And after two hours, it's completely different story. But to Tarek, that feeling is separate, almost unrelated to the blue hole. Even though there are memorial stones on the beach, he says, this place is not a graveyard. No, no. I don't consider it as a great art no. It's the people considered the Mount Everest at the graveyard? No. It's the whole extremist sport, which is you have lots of facts and even death. In never felt. This kind of feeling and it's a great yard or not but Tarek says there are prettier places to dive in the Red Sea than the blue hole. Reefs with more colors and more fish. Shipwrecks, you can explore. But the blue hole is awe inspiring in a different way. It's the deep sea contained and concentrated in this one spot by a hole in the reef. And once you're hundreds of meters underwater, but the weight of the ocean on top of you. Under you and around you. All that power in this one place. Can make you feel small. Do we need to know that we are very, very weak. The equation on the Steve are weaker than even the clownfish. Small fish, colored fish. We are weaker than this fish for this fashion. It's an own environment. We're not in our own environment. We jumped on a different environment. So we need to really.

Tarek Omar knows the blue hole better than almost anyone. It's just like a Paradise. I can not describe even the colors. Some colors can not even describe it. Just to make colors together and speak beautiful things. Tarek came to dahab, a resort town on the Sinai Peninsula in 1989. At the time, he was just looking for a job, but a friend got him into diving. A few years later, Tarek became a diving instructor, and now he's been diving in the Red Sea for more than 25 years. He was the first person to touch the floor at the bottom of the blue hole. And he says he's still holds the record for the deepest dive there. 226 feet, diving at the blue hole. I believe I'm one of the only person went to that if you could see it from the side, the blue hole would look kind of like a funnel. It starts with a big opening in the reef. And as you dive down deeper, it gets narrower and narrower. Like a tunnel full of water that points straight down. If you dive down far enough, it connects to the Red Sea through an archway. Geologists say blue holes like this one formed hundreds of thousands of years ago. When rising water flooded natural cave systems. Somebody would say it's natural. Some people say with the development was the earth. Some people just said something quote from the sky and opened that word many, many sword is actually. There are other blue holes around the world. But the one in the Red Sea has a reputation for being the most dangerous. There's no official record of how many divers have drowned here. But over the course of the past couple of decades, Tarek has personally recovered at least 20 bodies at the blue hole. And I've read estimates of the mortality rate that are much higher than that. I mean, you've obviously dived in a number of places. Do you think there's anything remarkable or unusual about this site? What makes this a very special or very famous this is to have a different feeling when you're driving it. Of course, because you don't have a lot of stories, there are lots of history behind it. There are lots of people talking. So when the view will jump in it, they have this kind of enjoyment, just like the Mount Everest. The mythology surrounding the blue hole, all the rumors about how dangerous it is. That's exactly what draws people in. The diving community, the travel community, the press, all of them talk about the blue hole, like its amount Everest. A deathly challenge, waiting to be conquered. But unlike Mount Everest, the blue hole is extremely accessible. It is 32 feet from the beach. In the coldest seasons, the average water temperature is 73°F. Water is also incredibly clear. And in the blue hole itself, there's no current. Because it's a vertical tube, protected from all sides. In theory, these conditions are perfect for diving. They're safe. But Tarek says that is the problem. Because once you start diving in the blue hole, you are deep sea diving. And if you approach that like it's no big deal, you might suddenly find yourself in a very dangerous situation. It's dangerous, but if you know what you're doing, and you have all the knowledge and the equipment needed, I think you could survive it. In fact, when Tarek started diving, he stuck to shallow water. But then, a good friend of his died. It was actually the friend who taught Tarek how to dive. He'd been out on a deepwater dive and something had gone wrong. The rescue team couldn't recover his body. And without a body, it was hard to say what happened. I was like, no way I need to understand. So I started actually. And actually, because of these acts that I was interested in the water diving. That's how I started the deep water dive and my main goal. It was just like, I want to see them. I want to find them. What you can not find them, and then I get into a really deep study of the devoted dive in and what the dentist finally daughters what we need to do such kind of dive. Deepwater diving is an extreme sport. And the type of diving Tarek does is the most extreme version of that sport. It's called technical diving, and it means descending further than 40 meters, or a 130 feet. These divers breathe in specialized gas mixtures. And when they come back to the surface, they have to pause periodically to let their body readjust to the pressure,.

"Well i think chrissy is really trying to make herself seem more human And talking about her vulnerabilities especially after her scandal that she had From things she said in the past and social media lesson to be learned And i don't know how people will take this But she has been the kind of person who always reveals her life so it's not out of character for her and i also think she's saying it to say maybe the things that i wrote in the past were done while i was drinking. Always always make. She wants you to make that john o. He's putting she's threading the needle. She's she hasn't reading together so now we can reason and excuse while chrissy was a mean girl. It's because she was always a bit drunk tipsy or you so clever stay. What else you work on. What's going on with those kardashians. Well kim kardashian has kind of given a response to her ex husband kanye west break up with irena shake and she's going to support him no matter what obviously he's the father of her kids so connie and arena have split up after two months dating now according to my sources irena was the one to end the relationship because she realized they weren't really great romantic partners. Go figure now. A source told people on saturday that connie and arenas break-up had to do with his busy schedule. That wouldn't leave a lot of time for romance if you think about it now. Kim hasn't publicly commented on irena and connie as break up but she did show her support for her ex husband hours after his relationship news broke when she posted a photo on her instagram story of her. Listen to donde which is titled after conyers. Late mother the photo also came a day after cam and connie were photographed at lunch in. Malibu and sources are saying that basically. Kim doesn't really want kinda dating. It's not that she's jealous. She wants him to focus on their children. So what do you think rob o. I think it's so called She had a nobody knows better than a kadarshian. The value of the photograph. It's worth a thousand words really. Is we hear that cliche all the time. But it's really true. Also to kim knows the when the spotlight is on you and big news breaks. What do you do. You sell products that some moments to sell your stuff. So what she trying to do. She's trying to sell promotes connie as new. Cd so once you get the press would sure day is at all the websites you know pivot away from the story about your relationship your break up and use it as an opportunity to sell sell salad. That's why those kardashians so rich quickly before we get break feldstein who you might not know yet. But she's in the upcoming fx impeachment. The american crime story so she's running lewinsky in this show and she said she has nothing but respect for monica so she did this new interview with w magazine. Set the following quotes. I felt gutted by some of the things that monica went through. It's my job to portray her pain. Because i love her so much now as queer person she doesn't know if a president flirted with our exactly what she would do but she did say quote if i was twenty two and the most powerful person in the world focused on me. I expect. I would do the same thing as monica. So over the years monica's affair with clinton has been much speculated about. I know monica a little bit and i gotta say she's a really cool kind person and she'll never shake off the scandal for the rest of her life and i think she's actually come to peace with the fact she.

"It felt like it was years long. I know it was. I knew a lot because it was so hard to hide. And and you know he was sloppy. Is he denied it. No he doesn't need me tutor why they do not leave if you knew he was cheated on you. Where am i going. He told me straight up. This is my house. where am i going. I don't i think she had nowhere to go. I don't think she cared that he was cheating. I don't thank you. This is this is what it is. I think i think with kyle. Obviously she's with no they have a loving relationship if she ever suspected for one second he was doing something she would have. His ass handles right. That's her man. That's a father children. She's not messing around with that. Erica and tom. My personal opinion is that i think they've they had separate lives for very long time. I mean she was pursuing her dreams. I think she was becoming an icon and a big star own show and note that they didn't have love in their lives and they weren't together for a long time but i think that relationships grow apart and she was totally with him. Keeping companies have anywhere on television. It's hard to say. I don't really care that he was cheating. I don't think you can just say things like that. Because i don't think it was more of an arrangement if when you're a big girl and you're an adult you don't wake up one day and say i know my husband. There's been some rumblings on my husband cheating. And i found the evidence and i'm going to leave to prove a point. I think that you have watched too many lifetime movies. If you don't think that you don't have to leave without a plan like if you'll man has been doing this for instance. I had a girlfriend who's married to somebody for eight months Sorry eight years. Eleven months and seventeen days. Wow and she was like. I'm leaving him. He's cheating my response. Was i get that but you only have a year left so until you're set for life he has to take care of you for the rest of your life. Why are you going to blow up and leave and take four and a half days worth alimony. Women that want to be active in a relationship and expect their husbands to be faithful to them and that's their dynamic. I think with erica and tom. They have lived once again separate lives for several years and i don't think she was heartbroken or upset about that. I think they both were in different places. And i think just don't like the message that sending to women right. I didn't have anywhere. Go in this. Come on come up with better. Come on if. I'm leaving a house i'm going to another house. I'm not leaving. my man. Going to hotel are trying to sleep on. If you don't wanna be in a row. If i don't want to be in a relation. I'll care i gotta go to. Was that a motel. That's just me. And i'm to say i just don't like the message that it sends to women that you have to stay in a situation that's not good for you. I completely agree and understand. And it's unfortunate that that messaging. She chose because. I don't think that messaging is accurate. Eric was going through. I don't know where to go. I eric is a self-sufficient brilliant woman. If she wanted to leave she would have left. She didn't care isg talking about leaving. James we're not talking about leaving talking about maybe one of the most high power bernie leaving leaving jordan is on par with leaving. There's necessarily i have watched leaving sleeping with the enemy. Fifty thousand times julia roberts. We're you're married to a man who's not only connected to the law. He is the community..

"Love about you. Tiffany you've also teamed up with vita fusion as a paid spokesperson to plant fruit trees in underserved communities. Why is this project so important to you. And i'm so happy using your platform for this well. This is super important to me for a multitude of reasons reason number one. I come from undecided community. I'm from south central los angeles and when i was a kid on grandma would tell us to house. Go outside and play and that we couldn't come in and out the house and we we would get hungry. We climb up fruit trees the flute trees fruit trees and we would eat plums oranges and pomegranates. And all the fruit. And i've gotten older. I realized there's not that many fruit trees in the community anymore. There's access to free food. Used to be especially free healthy food and so when i teamed up with fusion gummy vitamins and they told me that they were teaming up with the fruit tree planting foundation and that they were going to be planting over two hundred thousand and they have done it okay. They planted over two hundred thousand fruit trees all over the world and communities that suffer from food disparities in food desserts. And i think that's amazing. Because i remember when when my my when i was homeless okay and i needed to eat only have fifty nine cents and i would get a burrito and i'm like this is not. There's not enough for me. I would be driving down like oh look. A conquest tree august income class. Is that street. Give me some. Oranges kept some fresh fruits any money. That what it is when we stand up back in them days it wasn't paying big money. Tell i'm glad she using her platform for this. You know what i mean and you said you don't care about beauty standards but why but the way you dress shows people how you feel about yourself do you. How do you feel your best. "Market later down the line when it becomes handy. But he's already affecting things now so stocks definitely keep an eye out on snapchat. They're on a streak right now. They're their prices finally above ipo levels. They were struggling to keep above because apple recently at twenty five dollars but they fell below if post. Ipo now back started last week. So i think that's a positive signal to them. Be an option and just going up from here so i think that china just straight up from here. I got me five chairs. But that's my own personal bias. I guess but yeah no things that bitcoin is. Well hit an all time. High of all time highs is just a new research high of thirteen thousand dollars per whatever they call it crypto nelson as pop them a while people are still into this and it's a lot of stuff going on with the cryptocurrency world right now cripple is not going away anytime soon. Eventually world governments will start transitioning to it. If you're not in crypto. Get into some crypto immediately. I definitely agree with that of the wanna learn more about questions. Biggest question is when is not how it's going to be so for. Just how do you get involved in it. Where do you find that you have to you. Just gotta bite first off. First and foremost you gotta buy any can take an l. You now know where the lowest you take a high you now selling points. But for my endeavors into crypto. The immediate thing that i learned with they it's there. It's a try hard stop. They should try hard type thing because in looks stiffer if neon glows it fucking runs all damn day. You can be making money while you sleep. It's a little bit overcharge scammers leave it pops off like that and you're just like okay all we get it we get it but like just grab some and has the peaks go scrape off the top. You could treat it just like that is definitely in opinion. Scalping mechanism for sure yes that much week review. We do have a new member who is on the call right now names. Catchy definitely feel free to introduce himself. He fell asleep. I'm here everyone kinda just started investing. While i got started a year ago. I just got back into like options and stuff recently looking forward to getting a blessing making some money dope dope. And i'll ask you a personal question. What do you think of the trade tribe so far. Just real quick summary. Think you guys will give me in the right track to feature since what. I'm trying to do with it so i think you guys again. It perfect perfect. We love to ask questions. I have a question you sent. I have a question. Have you sent your fifty dollars to each you. Founding member so far. I i didn't hear about this shows. A lot of people concentrate chat to man. I mean yeah of a finally results from members picks for the past few weeks one of our members was able to make one hundred percent profit off a pay pal. Call exciting heroes. The civically is made about facts of his stocks in at&t. He was swinging for a couple of months but the biggest thing was that he also got along with five percent. Dividends to prophets right there one also apple stock. I believe tarek sold his off. Stop lost out. What you still may twenty percent of the apple. No i i sold it happen but we can. We go on talk to hear about dividends. Cause i live in standby dividends. Anyone who gets the first thing. I'd say make sure you get stocks. Have what do you what do you think about. Oh i live off dividends in the fact that i. I have an account. When i started my count. Everybody knows this i made. I thought if my account with fifteen dollars and thirty four cents now app to accounts with a thousand dollars in each and the list listeners. Again like i don't think we'll understand when you say you can start an account and make money from nothing from zero so you please out again. So that listless could hear you say that but when i first started this i remember i. I've always dealt with stocks when i first started. I said to myself if i'm going to do this. I'm only going to do this with the money. I have in my house and i gathered up out of the couch. Everything from pocket change in my pocket with down to the bank and the positive was fifteen dollars and thirty four cents. I've been to fat. Money started robinhood account got a free stock or two dollars and forty four cents and from there in the last six to eight months. I've now split the accounting to two different accounts one and td ameritrade when he robbed and they're both out of thousand dollars. A big part of that is because i'm a swing trainer but the biggest part of that is because i've been paid dividends four separate times by eighteen different companies in the last eight months and the dividends that i've made is a big contribution into the money. That may so the thing that i really want to stress out differences. You have to know two things when the locking day is and when the drop off the day you get paid your dividends they you all your stocks in less destroying progression of positivity and then you buy the dip and from that point on your scraping off the top day in day out. You always have three stocks in rotation and you're always scraping off. The top is meticulous. it's tedious. It's annoying but i don't have a thousand two hundred dollars to put on a marcus option. I'll got a chance to buy power with one. Hundred percent options tax. Love lost six hundred dollars once and that was enough for me. And i just dividends cannot take away from me they can't take from. I can't lose. So why would you. Why would you play any other game if you can't lose. I think it doesn't stop the episode. Right there as huge. We're as a season would get up house up. I mean you guys are way better. You gotta wait at the at the day in day out. Type stuff i think. That's that's one. Admirable in two is to be acknowledged. But i think you have to be very clear people watching this. I don't want to be watching this. Damn these dudes on stacks stack. But you can't do and he doesn't necessarily just tell your house do like i'm sitting here cooking brown rice. Get the hell out of my way like you have to do it the hard way. I love how you said. Yeah you're right. We are all sitting. Stacks just correct. A story is that. Because i didn't exact same thing going into the couch. Look for change starring with that three robin hood stock and just from their building an empire so people thousand dollars start. I'm waiting so i start working. I'm like man all. You is the need anything because you get a free stock like you gotta grind like that initial capital. It doesn't matter where you get it from unless you have something to put in. You can make money sometimes. You don't even need anything at all. You can start with zero. Get referrals free stocks. We will give six free stock for a referral. Really no excuse like they.

So we started a business together, and it's growing a trillion going, and we have to each other. Because of the business, and it has been really awkward ready. On top of that, you know, she sometimes favor need help doing this or setting up there. And you know what question I'm there? Don't feel you know, maybe a little use and hard for me to be able to move on. when we're seeing each other so much because of the business and you know i can't do the business though i'm fickle and i really don't do no listen first of all break-up never easy right i mean it's always difficult And you've you've got this other complicated component. Which is a growing successful business that you want to keep on track. Right. Right. and you must deal with your ex directly to keep the business moving Yeah. Pretty much operation. This is tough. And. there's just no way around it only thing that's going to be going to help this is time Also in a way mental toughness. Yeah. Like you have to. right an outlet you need a new pick up a new hobby maybe boxing something to get your mind off boxing isn't solving this it's emmy time but he doesn't have just been two months super fred i think just like if you do work out or go to the gym to strengthen a muzzle you've got to strengthen your mind in a weird way you've got to exercise the muscle of your mind to be strong enough to be able to handle dealing with the business and not thinking about her moving onto fast or her using you or your past with her actually going to strengthen your brain to not let you fall into these traps otherwise you're not going to be able to get through it but you think forward not backwards right okay it's literally like training a muscle i think because if you're if you're sort of weak in that spot you're going to be thinking about all the things in the past and you're not gonna be able to get through dealing with the business jesse like therapy or like meditating maybe i don't know however you think you can strengthen your mind i think only path to getting through it if you want to keep the business on track and you have to deal with each other Who does a great job at this watch that show flip flop? no i haven't about like home improvements are flipping houses anyways they were married married couple and they got divorced christine tarek and they're still doing the show as divorce divorced couple and it works and they're still working together they see everyday film she's already remarried and you know it's fine like it's possible as trying to say you could work with your ex it's mental toughness really is all right well listen good luck it's not easy just remember this you were dealt this hand in this life for a reason now you got to figure out what that reason was and get through it Okay. Maybe it'll become a radio host. I don't know. Anybody can do it by numbers kit. Really? i i mean i think that that's the only if he's got to deal with her you just have to like train your brain to be able to focus mental deal that really struck a chord why because i think that that is like something that is really people don't think about to exercise your exercise your mind like you're bringing your you can really be mentally tough through every situation in life yeah and sometimes you're forced to become it i never thought of it like that i like that he thinks of this is the fallback fallback fallback dig this is maybe i'll do radio off the track i can't get through a good news i can do you guys do dream job true well i mean his true all right thank you very much for calling anonymous tickets are on sale now at farmers insurance we know a roof can withstand alive.

DR Congo Ebola Clinic in North Kivu Attacked

"More than one thousand people have died from Ebola over the past ten months in the Democratic Republic of Congo health workers trying to contain the deadly disease are also under attack on Wednesday militia fighters killed at least eight people in the city of Tembo in the heart of the Bulla outbreak for the latest on how violence against health workers is complicating efforts to combat the disease. We now go to Tarek REBA. He's a field director at the International Rescue Committee, and is currently working on the bull response in the DRC. Welcome to the takeaway Tareq, thanks for having me was this latest attack related to A Bola. What what can you tell us about this attack? We've still gathering information on it that does seem to be some indications that it was once again linked directly to the abode response. But we don't have conclusive information. But yes, there's information pointing to that. What can you tell us about health workers and how they're being attacked right now. I think there's been sort of a gathering storm over several months now and been lots of accusations and rumors about certain activities such as back Saination where people feel that brother than helping them the vaccine may actually be sort of olitical ploy to inject them with A Bola that may be a little reasons for why this response is happening part of this is the cancelling of the election the national election, which was due in December and was held everywhere except in ten and Benny the areas directly affected by the response. And angered a lot of people who felt that they lost the right to vote because of a disease that they're not sure actually exists. How has the conflict in this area impacted efforts to contain Ebola requires a nuance dancer because actually was not necessary conflict area, but the wider area of North Kivu the province of North Korea where this outbreak is often. Of course has been for about twenty five years now. So there's a heavy presence of I'm groups what this does on a day to day basis is that obviously are operating an environment of insecurity and work in that sort of general sense of conflict, how quickly is the disease spreading, and what's the scale essentially of this outbreak right now at this point. This is the second largest outbreak in history. After the great west Africa at them from twenty fourteen fifteen in terms of the transmission rates had been some hope few months ago. But the last three or four months have seen continual increase daily renumber 's we've now had a record of twenty seven cage on a single day. But we've had a number of twenty plus days in the past weeks. We've always known that even when we reach those numbers. There's a lot of transmission that goes undetected. So even when we say twenty seven day that could have been far more cases possibly double as many. So that would put you out of very very high rate of transmission, it would also mean that we basically are complete the unable to to understand how that transmission is happening. And at those numbers, your it requires an enormous response both in terms of being able to detect those cases and being able to work with the communities so that they are transferred. So I think. In terms of level of alarm saw. No, one years bad as west Africa yet, but we should be very very alarmed about the situation right now, there is a vaccine that at least as being used on an investigative basis. Tell us about the vaccine and how successful it's been so far. So I think the vaccine we didn't have it in west Africa. I worked at IBM at the time. And I do think it has been a very useful tool. Especially in the initial months when we look at the one positive thing of this outbreak. It would be the geographic footprint, which has been relatively small all things considered and part of that could be attributed to the success of the vaccination in the in the beginning months of the outbreak. We've also had some recent studies that have come out of the vaccine about one hundred thousand doses have now been administered since the start of this outbreak in August. So we have quite a sample size. Now initial results are very positive positive possibly even more than we would have hoped for us on the one hand they show that those. That are vaccinated have a much lesser probability of contracting Bola. And Secondly in the second finding is more interesting and unexpected is that even for people that may have contracted bowl at the time of their survival rate goes up significantly, so there's a very positive findings. And now we need to make sure the community understands the benefits of axons action. Because recently, we have seen a number people refusing vaccination there a number that circulate around possible malicious intense behind the backs of nation, and that has caused a lot of people into area now to not want to be accented. Where's this infamous information coming from? I know the questions of room is very complicated. One we've been dealing with this this very much been politicized Asian around the rumors. So as mentioned, I think the election is one point clear contention that because this is a largely opposition held area. That may be for example. Uil a intent against those people for being positioned supporters. So a lot of those rumors come from there. And I do think we didn't do a good job of tackling them. And we need to improve in our community engagement in terms of working with communities in dispelling, the rumors and being very transparent and being very clear not messaging where do you see the bullet crisis headed after this? I think there's a reason for pessimism at the moment. The number of targeted incidents in the Tampa area has made it almost impossible to work. We're trying to resume and now we have renewed incident again, which is base. So I think for number of us. It's very difficult to see how things can move forward
