"Freaking year long. I love Christmas trees. This lady. Okay. Yes. Literally, right now, I'm a nest holiday candle on my living room coffee tables. So yeah. I affirm I don't mind. I'm on board with that because it's a green, there's like a pepperminty balsam going on. But like a pumpkin spice latte, baking spices. Okay, they're just for the winter, then. Well, I don't know, not at all. I'm not into like fruity. I could do like a lemon maybe, but not a good one. Yeah, I'm not into food candles, not really. Tree candles, not food cheese. Yes, tree candle is not food candles. Okay. Tell me last question before I have to do a speed round with you, which I'm not sure I prepared you for, but you're going to do great. Is there any people that you go to for like hair, color, hair, styling, just like people you see again aesthetician. But then I was going to give you a pass because then I was like, wait, she probably has to try a lot of different no, look, I commit, I commit, I commit. I mean, I believe in building a relationship. Your hairstyle is the person who injects your face, long-standing relationships are good. So Dickey of hair rules does my hair. Yeah. And then Michelle Henry does my filler Botox, all of that. Nails actually go to a local newer. I live in Newark, New Jersey. And I go to a local shop every two weeks. My chic nails in downtown Newark. Do you get a gel? You get a fill, a powder, a dip, gel extensions with gel polish on top. And you know, I never used to be a big nails person. But I became editor in chief, and all of a sudden it felt like I needed a nail. I was like, I needed a nail. Yes. 'cause you know, it's just similar to how people want to look their best when they come to me. I was like, well, now I'm editor in chief. I gotta bring the beauty. So I do nails every two weeks. See how she did that full circle everybody? This is how you write a story. You begin with the lead, you go through everything, and then she's got the little kicker to bring it back home. Paying off. Thank you. You need to my job for me. I love it. Okay, before we get you out of here, 5 quick questions. Just a little speed round to get to know you better. What's like your get ready with me song? Like a favorite song to just like do your hair too or just get ready for a night out. Right now it's like cozy baby Beyoncé comfortable in my skin. Comfortable. I don't know. Cozy with who I am. I see y'all even lyrics. I was like, is she gonna go? War lyrics. It's gonna be a really impressive if you kept going. That's a good one, that's a good one. "Become the enemy. Exactly. It's just crazy. And it's funny that this movie makes that point because out of all the random movies to make a point about the government not caring about people smoking aces didn't think it was going to be you, babe. But here we are. But it's fun. It's fun, it's violent. The characters are interesting. I don't know. Yeah, I thought that all the characters had these really great qualities that make you adhere to their storylines. I mean, the three brothers, the neo Nazis, they're just some crazy assholes. They don't care about killing innocent people to get this stuff done. They'll kill everybody and anybody to get their job done. Whereas the other ones were more calculating, they didn't want to hurt innocent people unless they absolutely had to, you know? But then you find out the one brother he actually does get. He's like, you know, I want you to forgive me. So it plays off each other. It plays off each other in a way that's so interesting because it's like, I don't know, all the people that deserve to die with the exceptions of Taraji P. Henson who absolutely did not deserve to die. Everyone who deserved to die kind of died. I would say Taraji P. Henson and Ray Liotta and maybe beanie were like the only exceptions to people who I didn't want to see dad. But everyone else kind of got what was coming to them and I really I like a movie that holds its characters accountable in one way or the other. Like we had this band of crazy neo Nazi killers, guess what? They all died in the end. Yeah. Because that's what neo Nazis should do. They should die. I think it was very much like bullet train with fires like the assassins and the way they introduced them and their purposes and all the different things like because in bullet train the assassins are all different styles, different measures of killing someone. It was the same thing as smoking aces. They were all different types of killers. Exactly. This is why bullet train made me think of this movie. It was like this movie kind of walked, so bullet train could move at the speed of light. Like a bullet train. It was actually very good. So I suggest both movies. I think both movies were really well done. Absolutely. I've heard rich reviews on bullet train. People are like, oh, well, listen, I watched it. If you watch it all the way through, it's good. Yes, Brad Pitt scenes should have been cut a little bit, but you know what? It is what it is. The movie was really well done. I think tangerine and lemon. They were the best characters characters on the whole thing. The other characters could have been better. They could have made more of them. They could have expanded on them. Yes, like with the Mexican killer. Yeah, Bad Bunny and Zazie Beetz. Here's the thing. In smoking aces, we get so much exposition granted, it's very quick. But we get so much more exposition about all the characters than we did in bullet train. Yeah, they just brief over it and then they kill. Yeah. I'm like, no, you got to expand a little bit on that. You can't just kill these people. Exactly. Like the chemist. And then she shows up and then they kill her real quick. And then what do you call it? It was a Bad Bunny. Yeah, he shows up and they kill him real quick. And I'm like, come on. Come on. Give him a little bit more. And I think in this movie to sacrifice those characters for Brad Pitt, was a direct choice by the studio, whereas this movie, it kind of felt like just like for fun. Everyone was there for fun. They killed the biggest name, Ben Affleck, in the first 20 minutes. I like movies that do that. Granted, I did not like the neo Nazi characters, but I like that we got to see more of actual character development from kind of all these people instead of just one character. Yeah. I like movies where a star is willing to die. Oh, absolutely. I mean, I like stuff like that. I mean, when you're watching a movie and you're like, all right, they introduce someone and they're like, oh my God, he's dead. What do you mean? Like, scream with Drew Barrymore. Fantastic. Drew Barrymore was in the movie. I'm like, oh, do you remember what was going to be in this book? Do you remember it's going to be the main of this movie? She's the only name. Oh wait. No, she's not. No, she's not. I like stuff like that. Those movies actually entertain. Yeah, just like this movie is very entertaining. Just know it came out in 2006. Yeah. Well, as you know, we cover movies spanning decades. So when I'm afraid to do 2006, if we can do 1960 and 50, but it's just funny because, I mean, we can talk about the different times of movies, but there's a very big push in the early 2000s where movies were bad. I don't know. You know what I'm saying? They're good, but they're also like that. I think in some ways we're seeing that now. Oh, absolutely. And this is going to be a great move and you're like, yeah, it wasn't. It wasn't. Well, especially marvel. I was popping out all these movies, and I'm like, oh, I'm so excited from. Then I watched them, and I go marvel's doing what D.C. did ten years ago. Now D.C.'s still doing the same thing they did ten years ago. She said. Yeah, well, I mean, do you see does not learn from their mistakes? All right, well guys, thank you so much for listening. I hope you enjoyed it. Shout out bullet train shout out smoking aces. I want you guys to watch both compare them. Tell us what you think. At us, we're always around. Yes, listen, give us suggestions. We will definitely take them and we'll mention you. If you listen to the suggestion on the podcast, you suggest we will mention you from the beginning until the end. Exactly, because you've suggested a movie that we probably wouldn't have done. So we do this for you guys. I mean, we love to watch movies, we'll never stop that, but sharing our thoughts and feelings, that's what makes it fun. All right, so tune in next time to what is happening.

"I remember I interviewed Taraji P. Henson. And she was saying how she got a movie and people don't realize, okay, yeah, she said, I got a $150,000 for the movie. She said, but what people don't realize is that the movie ties you up three or four months, you know this Tia. She says, and out of that a 150,000, I have to pay my team. Which is what set me sad to taxes. 20%. 20%. Advanced she said. She said I had 30,000 left. She said instead of me buying a car or something, I use that money to give to my son because his schooling, I had to pay for his schooling, which is about 30,000. She said, but now I'm tied up for three months. I can't make money anywhere else. Right. So when you see these, you know, celebrities. And they're hustling. You know, support them because a lot of them are, they're working class, just like you. It's a higher tax bracket. But we have to pay the teams. Yeah. Because you think those big sums of money, but they come into that person to then be distributed to so many people who have helped that one opportunity come to fruition. Yeah, and a lot of them are supporting their families, too. They really, really are. And this gland is not cheap. This has existed. We won't let it get around. I love you guys coming up. I want to get engaged to this guy. One hundred percent of course listen to your gaze. That tear down cannot be renovated just level that i feel like he wasn't telling her because she was going to get killed or go missing. I feel like he was like look shoes. You for supporting blockbuster. There's only two left in the country. You are really sure. Patron and barbara You weren't original originality. It was a remake when she to but no one. That's wrong you know always what it is right. It's like one. Madonna kinda threw shade at lady gaga. It's always like when you're an icon. Obviously barbara is an icon. I mean this woman is legendary. She is so talented. She's unbelievable but once that baton gets passed on to someone else and it's becomes the first of all lady gaga on a separate note. Did an incredible job in that phil was unbelievable. I will very rarely rewatch something. And i will watch this movie same so i just feel like there's just that little bit of like it's not my time right now so i'm just gonna jab at it a little bit but i don't think it was video what she said but i do think as you kind of not fade out. She's an icon. But you're not a kid anymore right when you're like oh will someone because originality it what you did. It did it. What are you talking about. And what does she know about. The will smith beyond say one that was going to be more original. I think it's just to black people and like she thought it was going to be hip hop and gangsters like she thought it was going to be that different. Take on the on the movie. Let's be real y'all beyond say. China look broke in a movie. Sorry and half the movie lady gaga look broke like you're not giving me on saying with Shaking goal. we tattered ever looks brooke. Oh of course she did she did that was sweet of you. She did okay but that was what she was supposed to and she did an incredible job. I just think listen. As far as i'm concerned barbara can pretty much say whatever she wants. But in this particular. Instance i just. I'm not sure where she was coming from. You know what. I think she was coming from the quincy jones. Part of my life just comes out of my mouth. I don't care because i've done johanns press right now. So don't get me something. What is lady gaga response though. She's not. She's not responded. Valentino with feathers responded and people just not publicly hundred. Well when you heard that they were gonna redo nine. Oh two one. Oh what was your thought about it. It listen to anybody that that happens to. There's a little part of you that's like oh of course you feel a little bit on passing and you're like okay and now i'm like ancient and they have a new one So yeah and then they asked me to be on it. And i was like okay. And then they were like two episodes of like two episodes. Okay fakes right. Yeah but it was great. It was just different. it's different. I think that's one hundred percent valid even when i was doing rich because they kept trying to make a different city or they wanted to remake the show and that was not not. I don't even mean to compare because it wasn't even close to nine hundred. And i even we were kind of like and that was like and then and we were like okay. Well let's see so i think. Of course it's natural to always feel that way i it's barbra streisand's she can say whatever she wants. Barbara fate. What you need. You could do whatever he can do. Whatever rock obama had to chop the guest list for sixtieth birthday party because of cobra attack and according to the times there was one. Guess who was thrilled to be cut. His name is larry david he says when barack obama him he screamed. Thank you got. The phone poured himself a drink and finished his crossword puzzle. Was he sitting on the toilet. He probably was by the way. Larry david is at the age where a good sneeze would take his ass out sir..

"Well, this woman is missing and race authorities are trying to find her because they want to sue her. The Tour de France deputy director told a news agency that they plan to sue this woman so that the tiny minority of people who do this don't spoil the show for everyone. Um, the woman is believed to be German. She apparently got on a flight and, according to CBS sports is untraceable. No one is untraceable. What are you talking about? CBS sports that makes no sense. But the video shows the woman holding this long banner on the sidelines of the race. She sticks the banner out like an idiot. Um, way too far causing a German cyclist to fly right into it. He falls, He sets off a domino effect. And all these cyclists behind him start to fall. And apparently, the sign was a Hello. Message for her grandparents. I'm actually surprised it doesn't happen more. I mean events. How stupid What is wrong with people Don't even get me started. Now. I asked you yesterday if you were a friend of Fraser, and it kind of was before your time. Yes, but it is really a great show. And it's funny because I brought this up. And then all of a sudden we have news that this Fraser reboot. Um, is going to have some of the main co stars returning. Apparently, Kelsey Grammer spoke with Collider. Um And he says, we think we're going to get most of the actors back, he says. I'm hopeful that we will. I'm fairly confident that they're going to come back. So that's really nice. I'm happy to hear about that. Um, and also Christian. I mean, you could possibly do this if you have a nice voice, because it looks like they're looking for people of sort of any nationality or any ethnic group. Um, we've got our Miss Hannigan. We now know who will play Daddy Warbucks in the upcoming NBC Any live special, but they're still looking for that special Annie. They're trying to cast her singer singer actor Harry Connick Jr is going to play the role of the filthy rich guy with a heart of gold. Daddy Warbucks Taraji P. Henson, meantime, is perfectly cast as the evil Miss Hannigan. And I posted a link to the casting page for Annie because they are on an international look out for this little Annie. And also, finally, ladies, listen up. If you just can't seem to stick with one man and one man alone, it might be time to try to think about maybe moving to South Africa. The government there in an attempt to be more inclusive, is considering giving women permission to marry multiple partners. Currently, men are allowed to have more than one wife there. Government officials reached out to several different groups for advice, including human rights activists who claim equality demands that polyandry be legalized and recognize their critics say. Oh no, no, no, no, This cannot happen. But funny enough. Most of these critics are men who are married to more than one wife, one guy said. They are spiritual people there in South Africa. They are guided by their creator, and this guy says only men can play the marriage field by getting hitched to enough wives for an entire baseball team. Only men should be allowed to do this. Do you have any comments on that question? People should be able to do what they want. Also you support many multiple life benefits. If it's the men can do it there. Then the women should be able to do it there. Oh, look at you look at you and diversity and equality. Well, that's very nice. We will have more stories. I'm sure on diversity, equality, wokeness royal alerts and all sorts of wonderful things coming up. On tomorrow's show. In the meantime, get ready for.
