"What Biden silver bullet is even if he does start making tracks if if he doesn't and if he starts getting traction. Joe Biden has silver bullet there is a giant sinkhole waving swallow him up, and that is the sweetheart deals he wrangled for his son with none other than Ukraine. They are big. And I'm gonna tell you. They are thousand times worse than anything. Paul Manafort was even a cues of doing and there are some other pitfalls for for plugs as as well. Greetings, welcome back. Rush Limbaugh and the network eight hundred two eight two two eight two if you wanna be on the program last night. I did what was supposed to be eight or nine minutes of you with Martha McCallum the story on the Fox News channel seven PM eastern. It ran twenty minutes. And the only reason they stopped was I think somebody had realized they need to go to a commercial break. So the interview ended, and I have been told Mr. Snerdley, my brother, you gotta play the whole thing. Some people probably didn't hear it. You're sometimes different on TV than you on radio. People. Gotta hear it. Okay. I have I wing to pressure internal pressure from the family and staff when we can't play the whole twenty minutes. And one stretch because we don't have a twenty minute segment here, we do not blow through our obscene profit breaks here at the network. We take them we take them all so we're going to have to start and stop. But here it is the I have remember minutes number minutes. I'm able to get in here from the beginning. Thank you for having me. It's this is the one hour on FOX. I haven't done it a while. So it's great to be here. It's great to have you back. I want to start with Joe Biden you've seen him run for president twice before nine hundred eighty four and nineteen eighty eight. What version of Joe Biden g think we're going to get this time? And how do you think he'll do? Well, Martha let me say I sit here tonight in my palatial EIB southern command studio, I remain stunned and amazed that the democrat party and the media still do not understand Donald Trump is they don't understand how he won. They don't understand how he's going to win again and twenty. Twenty. They don't understand the people who voted for him or why they hold all of that in contempt for. Here's the thing. Joe Biden is probably the best chance they've got. And he doesn't have a chance there probably Joe Biden and crazy Bernie, and and and mayor get three white guys two of them are brought sources from Taraf park, and that isn't going to sit well with the rest of this party, which has gone so far left. I don't think it'll by putting off this announcement. I I don't know how badly he really wants this. And you have to really want this. If you're going to have any chance of winning it. All right. Let's speaking of the other folks who are running. Let's listen to Elizabeth Warren talking about relieving ninety five percent of college debt, watch this. We're going to rollback student loan debt for about ninety five percent of students who have debt and. Partout is to make sure that we never get in this.

"Court when he realized he'd lost his balance falling referee doesn't get much more embarrassing than that. It's it's bad. People are on the pretty good, you know. And I'm I'm trying to hold it up and Eric was on the sideline. And he sees me fall. Eric is Erik Spoelstra the Miami Heat coach, and he sort of just stood onto the floor and braced me, and our arms sort of interlocked as he braced me righted me, I l out thinks as I go on by and I run on down to the baseline after the game Twitter exploded that the NBA is rigged. If you don't believe that watch Monty mccutchen, give a high five Derek's bolster after this three and the reality of that was just so far and away wrong up against this real human moment of just a reactionary thing that a good person does for another good person. You see someone falling? You help them not fall. He says that when he started out refereeing. No one would have even noticed if they did it wouldn't have mattered. That's changed mistakes. Get made is NBA referees. And they're just mistakes. But they often get interpreted in this this wider scheme of thought prov. That a lot of our cultures is dealing with right now. Which is there must be a fix in. There must be a reason for this. Do think the world is looking for a fixed more now than it was when you started. I think that the t shirt I saw recently has merit. I'm not saying that your fault saying, I'm blaming you. He feel abused. Yeah. Now, you know, people do their research. They things are out there on the internet. They know your record with with their teen. They they've done all there's all these sites on all these different personal things about you. Sure. Of course, death rates are made from time to time in playoff series, and you'll get security all the way to to both the hotel and then the hotel the next morning out to the airport security out tell not every night. But when those threats are known factor, it has happened in my career security to your car is mandatory every night at some point, you feel this question rising in you in me it rose up while I was talking to Ramona Shelburne, the ESPN. Reporter. Why would anybody wanna be Aref seriously? I wonder that too man. It's just know they they're not allowed to say anything. They're not allowed to explain themselves and not allowed to defend themselves. Look, obviously, they get paid. They started a hundred and fifty grand a year. And if they're great at their job and work extra games, they can make much as five hundred. But there are lots of ways to get paid without spending half your life in hotel rooms and the other half being insulted by arenas filled with crazy people. Do you think the refereeing gotten worse or better actually think has gotten better? Of course, it's gotten better. How could it not have the mystery is why the stars and the coaches and the fans act is if it's gotten worse sitting in the NBA replay center in Secaucus, New Jersey one hundred. After I see all these people on all these TV screens jumping around and hollering refs. The ruckus appears to be confined to Cleveland. But in here, it feels like the entire universes disturbed. There's a reason for this. Lebron James is upset arguing areas Rogers going from ref Taraf seems to know which rests to arguments, and we're talking about gold. So they're talking about. It's all about I think they might change. The James is James any other guy had the best angle. Do you think that Ron James has any effect doing that? The ref in Cleveland is not twirling his finger. There's no signal to us to do anything in the replay center. The bronze drama strictly speaking his pointless. It's strange the way these players argue..

"But part of the theology is that basically gobble bring the Jewish people back to the land. And then two thirds of the Jewish people will be slaughtered in Israel. So it's kind of an odd scene that the Christians are raptured up because quote renowned appointed Taraf, right? So that means if wrath is being put out on the world, God can't protect us here. He's got take us out. But it is going to be a time when all hell breaks loose over the whole earth. But especially for the Jewish people living in Israel. So we feast in heaven while the juice gets slaughtered on the earth. That is the theology. It sounds pretty tendentious to me. It's it's amazing. How people misread scripture were safe things. This is what fascinates me is that people read scripture, and they see something so clear, and I go well to me, it's not clear, you know, like, you could say the same thing about hell or about, you know, there's certain things that people say, well, it's obvious that any go. Well, I know what it says. But I don't know how you get that reading. So clearly in other words, you might be right. But it doesn't seem clear that the scripture is saying this or this or this when we're talking about the end times, I've never been more fascinating on how sure people are of what it says. And like you. I mean, I I read the bible for myself many times, and it's never super clear. I mean, what you just said about wrath is poured out but wrath can't be poured out on us. He's like, well, wait a second wrath being poured out. What does that even mean? I mean, it could mean a lot of things it could be it could happen in a lot of ways wrath could be poured out and the Lord could protect us from the wrath or he could give us the strength to live through the wrath. So I'm assuming that ultimately that that's what you came out on that scripture. So first thing not being appointed to wrath. That's basically talking about hell when Paul was writing to the Thessalonian said not appointed to wrath. He wasn't saying on by the way that has no relevance to us. Have no relevance to two thousand years of Christians except those living in that last little period of time. That's the first thing. The second thing is when it's time at wrath it's primarily associated with return of Jesus coming in flaming fire to take vengeance. On those who don't know God. So so that's also they're taught, but there are plenty of examples of scripture where God protections people. So for example, as the the plagues were being poured out on Egypt. Right, right. The magicians they send word pharaohs what's going on with the Israelites in Gauchan. Nothing's happening to them. You got pitch darkness over the Egyptians. You've got dying. You've got every kind of tragedy taking place and for the Israelites not happening at all. God can protect us while he poor judgment on sin. And that's the basic thesis. It sounds like to me of your book, not afraid of the anti Christ that you wrote with Craig keener, you're saying that. When the end times, come and bad things are happening all around we will be here. Those of us who already believe in Jesus, and we will live through this period and the evidence from the scripture that will be sucked out before that stuff goes down. Man is not there. It's not there. But here's the positive point. We are over commerce. We don't need to escape we are over commerce. What do we tell the people that have been burned to death tortured to death buried alive? That is the anti Christ gonna bury them worse or torture them worse or burn them. Well, okay. But you bring a big point that there are a lot of people. They say, they're Christians, but they have some very bad theology. The idea that let's say you re description says we're over commerce or whatever people interpret that to be like, I'll never have a bad day..

But I just wanted to play it because it's just it's just, you know, one of those Don lemon moments now, it's not a black hole moment. Yeah. It's not like when he asked the airline experts after the Malaysia airliner disappeared whether could have been a black hole and got the look of what are you nuts? Right. But he had on Gladys Knight. Who did just a great job singing the national anthem at the Super Bowl? Great rendition. And of course, nobody was happy. And so what Don lemon did is. He brought you know because the whole Colin Kaepernick thing that all of a sudden reappeared again. And of course, we have asked why none of these people ask why the football players are still playing the game, right? There are actually the main beneficiaries. They are getting the big bucks. They should be the ones why isn't the leftist media challenge in the football players. Not to play the football players play the halftime, entertainment entertains try everybody has their role in the game of football. And so Don lemon Astor. You know, what do you what do you think of all this after he talked to garra goes? Here we go are people are going to have the opinions, you know, about whatever and all I can deal with all I can deal with right now is what my heart says. Okay. I believe in fairness, I believe in truth. I believe in all of those things and as far as this is concerned, I grew up with the national anthem we used to sing it in school before school started. We used to say prayers in school before school started. And we just don't have that anymore. And I'm just I'm just hoping that it will be about our country and how we treat each other. And and being the great country that we are. I don't know if you remember the controversy during the the inauguration when Chris that Michelle saying at the inauguration, and I just read an article in the New York Times how she basically lost her career for doing. So you have a much longer history and resume, right and John legend in this business is that a concern for you at all given the controversy surrounding. Nothing. Good comes easy. And I would hope that they will understand as I do that. We have a better way to do this then to be all angry. And why is he doing this? A why see doing that? There you go. Let me ask you Gladys Knight. Are you worried that this is hurt your career? She's seventy four she's seventy four. Yeah. I I don't know what I'm gonna do when I'm eighty. Well, now her mode of transportation has not changed in all those years in order to get to Atlanta. You know, what she took the midnight train to. Let me ask the question. Now, she sang the star spangled banner, but the pips weren't there. Did they boycott? I think two of the pips did. And the pit rule is that if you if two or more of the pips are not in then no pips are in. It's it's it's it's kind of an all or nothing pip rule. Choose the path that would be easier for me in an effort to duck my responsibility to reconcile. That same year. My wife says inappropriate circumstances. Had the shoes I had a glove, and I used us a little bit of shoe polish to put under my all. My cheeks. Okay. A lot of people think he should resign. And just end it. And Joe you and I have been talking about this. I I'm flabbergasted at the response that he had to his own actions in the past and how we handled the news conference set a lot to me about his fitness. But for the Democrats they are unified that this guy should resign for a lot of reasons, especially because we are in the age of Trump, especially because we're the age of from it was a bizarre bizarre press conference. So Eddie, let me bring you in. But you finally out of traffic in Atlanta, Georgia, so we can kill you. And I'm going to do do with you what I did with. No, I'm going to play devil's advocate here. And let me just ask. Is there any room there's room for grace? Let's just let's just take Ralph north met his word. He did this one thousand nine hundred eighty four again, this is Joe playing devil's advocate. Now, what he thinks you don't you don't have to explain that Eddie, I just. Yards. But anyway, so so let so Ralph Northam says I did this thirty five years ago. It was a terrible terrible mistake in this time sense, though. I have been a soldier. I have been a doctor. I have been a patriot. I have been a public servant, and he has been a public servant and public servant in ways. Obviously, the a democrat. That many people who were calling for his resignation now would support is there ever any room for grace for somebody like Ralph Northam are all say Brett cavenaugh are Al Franken who I guess. Again with at least with cavenaugh and with north on. These are things that people did or alleged to have done in high school and college and then spent thirty five years trying to serve the public in their own way any room for grace. Usually is there any room for grace here in particular. Sure, there's always room for grace. Joe? But they're all the grace always comes with consequences to be forgiven to be extended a branch of love in the midst of one's fallen nece can be consistent with one's commitments as a Christian if that destination you're in that she belong to. But they're also consequences that follow and particularly in the context of black America in regards in relation to these sorts of events. There's always the expectation of immediate forgiveness as if we have as I tweeted, this over-developed forgiveness, gene whenever racist evidences itself in the country among people who claim to be otherwise. So I think I think it's important for us to understand that Ralph Northam can be extended grace he has a life ahead of him. But he no longer has the ability to lead for Jinya eighty seven percent of black folk voted for it. He he has an agenda that is really set to speak to the most vulnerable in the state. And the question is can he can he actually execute that agenda given what we've seen and I would say, no. I don't Kimberly. Can I ask you in follow up, and then I'll get right back to you. Eddie in follow up, Kimberly. Even if somebody wanted to provide grace Taraf north and right now, I just have to ask the question. How can they as Democrats in the age of Trump win? It is so critically important for Democrats to show Americans that there is an alternative to Donald Trump's view of race. Yeah. I think that's exactly the problem. And I think what governor northbound's biggest problem is isn't this page from nineteen Eighty-four? It's how he has reacted subsequently in two thousand nineteen not just changing all story..

We do that we so this is a dominant male that I'm fighting for for dominance with any displays in front of this thunderstorm. I've seen one do that in front of a waterfall. So so I I don't know if that answers your question, but but I think we need explanations for things because of our Lord's triple cortex, we wanna make sense of things it's it makes us feel uncomfortable. If we don't have explanation for things, that's probably part of it. I think you know, you the way you phrase the question was what makes humans need to do that. And I get it. Perhaps it's not a need so much as a capacity. So another great Abe brushing at a thunderstorm, demonstrate something along those lines, but they may not have the cognitive capacity to conceptualize that as. Maybe as an agent, maybe not as an actual agent to the same extent that we would. So it could be a difference and also language is a huge factor in this. And because if you have a concept, it could be that there's a hundred apes out there. Now who have God concept? They've just can't relate to somebody gonna case other Ambi, solidified, right interesting. Interesting thought experiment. Yeah. Certainly, you know, dolphins could, but there's also other thing, and that is when other apes come into contact with us are we perceived by them as apes as alpha alpha eight are we are we like to them, and it may be it's the case that because we don't necessarily have. Now, I realize that eight humans and apes aren't always interacting. So I'm kind of playing around here little bit. But we have this monumental airgun that we are the top dog on the planet because we tend to prioritize cognitive abilities. And as far as we can tell we got we got to beat. We are the top of the heap in that area. Maybe there are other creatures would do similarly but on under different categories. And so if you know aprons into a human are, we god-like or are we just another ape that they can't completely comprehend which I know just gave some theorist ammunition to call in and say, something you can't comprehend, but the point is that ape would have no justification for believing that I was a God thinking, I was God or trying to convince anybody else that I was a God is specially if it can't understand me. How can you? How can you take a concept and say, oh, you can't understand it? But here let me tell you about it. But he definitely might say you're in health. He scored was a quick reminder. Of what everybody like thought he was going to become and he had a lot of injury setbacks. But like I think he's finally starting to stay healthy for long enough for us to consider top dead player in the world. That's high. That's high. He's good. That's high though. I don't know. I think he's up there. I mean, he's put it together quietly now for a little while, and he's a very impressive player. So I'm gonna say this about buyer, the as somebody who has lost a step playing soccer or maybe two steps maybe even three and it takes one to Nuys step at your look like they're just a team overall that has lost a step or two. And it's. I I respect you stick into your Champions League, call them. But I just don't I I could argue that your point is why I think they're gonna win the champions. You're going to spend that around. I am because it's a. You know, how LeBron James will lose a regular season game on Christmas that we all think is huge deal. So so buyers going to bars. Games in August, September October November that we think are a big deal. They know that we are like they know that they have that they have the players and vacuum to play with anybody. They're older. It's the same core in they're still running back. So they're like, yeah. We can we know what we gotta do. We gotta remain within what seven points up until Christmas..

"To two zero zero nine six five that's the number to be live on. The, air so give us a call and you can get in the queue Chris, our producer will pick up and we'll answer any questions you might have. For the program this morning so the, first texter texted in and, said I'm sixty three at a federal employee before the break we were talking about Florida state employees This person's. A federal employee says I'm sixty three and a federal employees should I change from 401K Taraf. Assuming they probably mean pre-tax inside their TSP the thrift savings plan is what federal. Employees have from traditional. To Roth which is. After tax money switch or do what's called a Roth conversion sure so all we're talking about when we're, talking, about, either. Roth 401K Roth for three b or even. Roth TSP which what this would be is Wendy pay the, taxes the taxes now and get, them, over. With that's called Roth or delay them and you. Pay them in retirement when you're hopefully in a lower tax bracket. That's, called pre-tax also known as you know traditional 401K regular TSP so do pay taxes now and get. Them over with or shy delay them for, the future when I'm hopefully a lower tax bracket is. What this person is asking at sixty Three Definitely a little bit of a. Debate we don't know your tax. Bracket we don't know a couple of things about, you but regular listeners, of let's talk future, show do know that we're big fans of having both both buckets of money when you go to, retire that gives you the ultimate flexibility in designing your income in. Retirement meaning if you have a bucket of money that's completely taxable and a bucket of money that's completely tax. Free you can then play with your tax bracket within retirement, example I always use if let's say tax rates are, really really high at age, seventy or then that's the year you're going to take from your Roth and you're not really going to be that concerned about those high tax. Rates if by the time you're, eighty maybe tax rates have now. Dropped, well that's the year you're going to take from the pre-tax or regular, 401K regular, four, three, four, three d. regular TSP and you're gonna pay them in that lower tax. Environment if you have both buckets of, money you'll be able to zig zag with Tax. Rates during retirement retirement could be. Sixty three to say age ninety three it could, be a thirty year, period so the likelihood, of you seeing tax changes is pretty good and probably what you're going to want to do for, this person at age sixty three is probably not convert from traditional. To Roth but it might might be beneficial to start adding to Roth so my my future contributions the money. That I'm putting in now if that's going through traditional maybe, I switch to Rauff to build up a bucket but, even saving pre-tax for all, this time you're still working you know you're almost to the point where Hammond retire in five years for two years whatever it is while you're..

"It's really special for me to be here because I lost my mom at a very, very young age, and I had no idea. No idea that I would end up belonging to almost four different families. I had no idea. I had no idea about the history and no idea how inclusive this group is and what it means to be part of standing rock and be part of the United Nations. So I wanna thank all you guys for hosting myself. My sister and my best friend break Herro my grandparents and the fact that I get to meet my family. Finally, I mean, you guys have no idea. This is finally meeting my mom's family, and now I'm with you guys forever. And I hope that you don't mind that because I don't mind it either. So. Now's an emotional Kyrie Irving yesterday at his naming ceremony, addressing his fellow members of the standing rock Sioux tribe. He was giving them Lakota name little mountain and its sister Asia was named buffalo and shadow to the director of today's show. Whereas most of us know her as Angela Rogers Djamil, what's your reaction? The kyri embracing his native American. I think it was really beautiful and genuine, and people that know Kyrie Irving. This is not a surprise. He's known as one of the deeper thinkers, I guess introspective and know people like to make fun for the whole flatter thing. But. Understandably so. But there's a, there's a lot of depth there and a lot of genuineness there is so for him, Tim brace this on the nose important him since he did lose his mother. I think it's just a really awesome tribute to her and it's amazing to see him kind of have this connective with this part of his heritage. No, that's that's actually where I was. I was kind of skeptical of until I read the backstory a little bit Morrison. Well, there's actually a lot there. The fact that he just recently kind of realized all this and then the fact that he's, you know, he's donated money in all sorts of stuff. The fact that he was able to do that and you actually see the video of it that was when it hit me how much it seems to mean to him. And I think it's really cool. I'll let you know there's a lot of deep thinkers in the Montclair west orange, New Jersey. Thing for anybody who's lost a parent. But here's someone talking about at the age of four. So you know that your memory you know isn't isn't that deep and you can tell in his, he was speaking from the heart. There was a beautiful thing. It really was and it, it's hard not to Cairo. And you see something like that. And you could tell how much mental and it's also shouldn't be loss. When you look at native American youth and the suicide rate to problems with depression and other things to see somebody s successful as kyri Irvine embracing them. I think that's gonna do wonders for native American youth who are looking for some enlightenment in a Ray of hope. By the way I misspoke. Angeles name is not heyday. I apologize for that. All right.
