CBS sports reports Bezos has long been interested in buying an NFL team, especially here in the nation's capital. Daniel Kaplan is the senior NFL writer for the athletic. He joined us earlier to discuss which factors will determine who the new owner is. They want to make sure the owner has enough money to build a new stadium, fund new facilities, pay a salaries. So obviously diversity is a big issue for the NFL. They would love to have a general partner who's a minority, but absent that, they would like to see diversity and the ownership group. It's unclear whether Amazon's deal to carry Thursday Night Football would be a conflict. I don't think anyone knows yet exactly what they're planning. Are they hoping to get a minority group to come in and give them a new infusion of cash for say 40% of the team? I don't really see somebody doing that just because of almost 2 billion that it would cost for no power whatsoever. The probably going to look around and see if there are any bites for someone who would be interested in buying the whole thing. But again, only the snyders know what this means for sure. Based on your reporting up to now, if Snyder is indeed selling, what drove him to this could it have even been a tap on the shoulder from his friend and fellow owner Jerry Jones of the cowboys saying it's time to give this up. Or to Merce, I don't think there's any one single factor. It certainly could be the sell the team signs. It could be the booing Tanya Snyder was booed when her image was shown on the jumbotron last weekend. I mean, that's personal for her, not so much for her husband, but it's got to hurt her. There's that little matter of the congressional investigation. There's the other little matter of the NFL's investigation with Mary Jo white. So problems are coming down the pike potentially. Also Snyder in a letter to other team owners says the ESPN report contains false and malicious statements and that ESPN ignored the team's efforts to correct falsehoods. He also says the allegations that he hired lawyers and private investigators to look into other team owners and Goodell is patently false and intended to erode the trust in goodwill between owners something he wrote he takes quite seriously. Police say he entered the woman's unlocked hotel room and physically and sexually assaulted her. A man who knew the victim chased the suspect and said that suspect pointed a gun at him. Surveillance cameras at the hotel on Westwood center drive and at the eastern market metro station captured images of the man, fairfax county police wrote on Twitter tonight they've have a suspect in custody, though there's no other information about him yet.
