"Yet another layer to the legend of tom. Brady and you looked right at me. Bart scott and poured all kinds of cold water on that. Why would talking about willis. I mean there's no big deal right you think about the mc l. is different degrees of sprained and a lot of players. Play with torn. Emeals watch joel. Embiid played with a meniscus tear. You know but. I think it's kinda crazy that it comes out because i wonder what the nfl is going to do it with this cost. Them money potentially didn't report and put him on the injury report. Lsu what that happens so sometimes in trying to build the time brady you can potentially hurt the organization. I wonder what happens going. Go forward nikko. How about that. How about this. This is brady playing with the tournament l. Should i not be making a big deal of this green. It's like you working with a paper cut. Baby come on now. You can do this. It's not that big of a deal bart scott myself. We have a closet full of joy braces elbow braces because every single play money and this is a single player that plays in. The nfl plays with some type of injury at some point. I don't care who you are. So playing through an mc l. grade one quarterback. He's not like he's sprinting. Cutting for first downs anyways dropping back dolan passes so i mean yeah. He's a tough guy. I'm not going to question as toughness. The more impressive injury he played through was tearing the web being on his hand the day before a game now. That is an injury that i think would affect somebody trying to spread their hand. Throw a football. The mc l. I mean though a brace on tape job on alex. Rub it out. He's okay you know. What's impressive them. Unique the fact that he had eaten potato or french ryan three years. I can never jeremy especially with kids now especially with kids. Jeremy your thought this was basically paper cut inside tampa's organization. This wasn't really a big story. This wasn't made up for brady to be legendary. He didn't really advertise this at all. I talked to some sources is said all we knew is that brady was getting surgery after the year that he can move around just find during the season and now he looks great. So everybody's happy to be very clear. This is a little finger. Thimble rubber thing that i have on my hand here. That helps turn pages without sustaining. The paper are referring to in the meantime the x. Games comes your.

We've got you covered right off the top and stephen as on the way in this hour then the very best advice you will hear for how to solve the puzzle. That is the packers we can do it. And we'll explain exactly how and then college football as we know it on the verge of enormous chain you need all the details and we got them coming your way as we get up with you in this hour starting right now with the game of the night in the nba bucks nets in milwaukee janas and company humiliated in the first two games but he was much better last night in a defensive struggle. Pick it up on the fourth tied at seventy four. Yes thirty three bucks up to just over to play tied seventy eight. Chris middleton also sensational last night. Thirty five points. Fifteen boards buck and a half tied at eighty kevin durant bruce brown back to durant durant added going thirty points eleven rebounds and that's a three point lead that's been fifteen seconds to go blocks down by one desperately needing a basket to keep their season alive while drew holiday. This spin move. He had just nine. But that's the biggest flex plus of the season. They're fired up outside now next on the other end well that sloppy they almost lose it gonna wind up in the hands of brown. He's gonna wind up with a mad dash to the whole. It's not even close. So there's a rebound there's foul shots and they're good and so it's a three point milwaukee league with two seconds left. And where are we going. We're going to katy. And that's the mask. Look they could manage. It's no good and the bucks survived the fight another meaningful day. Eighty six eighty three is your final with and chris. "Schefter on the goodyear hotline or espn senior nfl insider. Good morning shefty. So of course. We've got to do the daily on aaron rodgers. Give us the latest as we know. He faces up to ninety three thousand dollars in fines if he doesn't show up for mini camp. Put as you've reported. We're not expecting to see him there or not. Sure adams ready right now or not out of teak. We're going to have to get back there. Hello hello adam going to work on the audio and a second. It's going on guy so there. He is okay so you do live live. I will rewrite the question. Good morning shefty. By the way so with aaron rodgers as you reported as we know Ninety three thousand dollars he could be fine if he doesn't show up to the mandatory minicamp but as you've again reported he is not expected to show up there. Where are we with the relationship. Between he and this franchise. We'll the green bay packers could make this in excused. Absence and there are four he would not be subject to the ninety. Three thousand eighty five dollars worth of fines. And i think the packers have to weigh whether that would be worth it. Setting a precedent not finding a player for attending not attending a mandatory minicamp or further strained relationship between future hall of fame quarterback. And i think that they will side with opting to notch further strained relationship with the hall of fame quarterback so. I don't think that they will wind up finding him. I think they'll make an excused absence but where we are at in the relationship. I think it's pretty clear that nothing has really changed here and as it was told to me yesterday and i use this exact phrase because it was used to me. Aaron rodgers is quote unquote strong as hell on this. That was the exact phrase that was used to me strongest help and so again. We'll wait to see that. He's not there. But i don't expect them to be there. And then the next touchpoint will be a training camp but my understanding also is that the packers president mark murphy. The gentleman brian they could attempt to try to meet with aaron rodgers. Again after this minicamp make another run trying to convince him to come back to green bay. How do you in adam. How do you just get this resolved like what. What do you have to do to get it resolved kate. I think that the packers themselves ask themselves that question every single day. So you're trying to answer something. We're trying to answer something. You're asking me something that frankly. They've spent months trying to answer unsuccessfully themselves. What would it take and by all accounts. Those who know aaron rodgers. Best say he's very prideful. Very thoughtful very stubborn very determined individual. That doesn't get passed. These things whatever's bothering him most and he referred to that being some of the relationships and people to kenny mayne and so i don't know that they can fix it and if he is as i was told as strong as elements then again to get back to you. How do they solve that. And i don't know that they do. Maybe agreement will never acquiesce as right now. But maybe the best thing is for both sides to go their own ways and green bay to trade him the maximum amount of compensation for them I hear you shefty. Tom brady shows up the training camp at the age of forty three years old fresh off his seventh super bowl championship. Which is crazy to say. How much longer do you expect tom to play. Until the two thousand and fifty three j for thirty two years. Probably and i mean the guys unbelievable. I remember one time last year. Tom brady telling me. I dream of throwing the football. That was what he said to me. I dream of throwing the football. And i thought to myself boy. I mean here's a guy that lives it. breathes it his lifestyles about it. I think he loves the idea of taking everything. He's learning spreading that to all the people within the tampa organization particularly the players. I think it's about spreading the tb twelve method winning more building a legacy continuing to do good. He's done so much of that and so is long as his body can allow that to happen. I think he's going to keep going here and again Could this last year. I guess any year when you're his age could be your last year. But he does it. Look like he's slowing down right now and he looks like he loves doing it and so i would say he's got another two three years just guessing. Yeah adam the cowboys also reporting the minicab today in dak prescott coming back off seizing indie ankle surgery. What do you expect from him. And he be forego well okay. He told safe steel there again today. He could play. That's how he feels. And even before that. The cowboys were highly encouraged with his improvement. Now that was quite an ordeal there you know. He had a second surgery to repair the injury and put in a lot of time. Rehab but he is said to be in a very good spot right now and he's really coming along and there's no question right now that he's going to be ready to start the season when it begins i. I don't know how much he's going to be doing at the mandatory minicamp. I don't know that matters much much. Does at the mandatory minicamp. Obviously they're going to be very smart with what he does but if he needed to go out there and he can do whatever they needed to have done. Just the on. Julio jones kia talked about from the moment the trait habit even before the trade. He just didn't see fit. You didn't see a reason why the titans would wanna make the move. And i know diana has talked to us about how they were a long shot..

"Radio. And you're a good evening. What do you have for us tonight, My friend. That was really cute. What you played when I did your chart and your wife, Betsy, Tourists and Scorpio. Opposites attract. That was cute. Very good. It was very good stuff. All right, Andrea. So we've been we've been waiting for the day. We've been waiting for this kind of breakdown on the Super Bowl. I can talk about how Rob Gronkowski is really going to be the secret weapon. But forget about that. What one of the stars telling us about Tom Brady and this upcoming Super Bowl. Yes, I ran the charts for Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes and Bruce Arians and Andy Reid. So first things first. Tom Brady. Um He's a Leo August 3rd 1977 11:48 A.m. san Matteo Ashley have a birth time on him 2000 really into astrology. And, you know, he's a Leo. Creative, dramatic. The king of the Zodiac. Trying to use Mars and Gemma Knife, February 3rd to February 12 high energy positive, more confident, may receive increased recognition and influence at this time. So that's a positive transit to be coming into the Super Bowl with. Um it was interesting, though. Um, Andy the day after, um son opposed Saturn, some disciplines feeling some limitation. That's an interesting aside. But you know, all in all, that's his chart, and he definitely also momentum coming into the Super Bowl. September 17 my Burgo birthday Twin Different Year 1995 for Patrick Mahomes. And he has some, you know, powerful transits. Ludo, trying to his son. Confident, powerful, purposeful, can further his ambitions improve his potential. And abilities, But he also has your honest post Mars, which is that injury prone transit. I know who's recently in concussion protocol and had the turf toe and Um, Jimmy Garoppolo has Mars in Scorpio, and he had a kind of some injuries, So I do like his chances. Um, I am kind of favorable there. But what really was interesting. The coaches Andy Andy Reid, March 1919 58 Los Angeles, California So he has a lot of positive Mo mentum, Um Jupiter, making a harmonious aspect to mercury, which is communication. It was clear and quick thinking, more alert and mentally agile, which is obviously the qualities you want to have. Coaching the Super Bowl and then Jupiter in Aquarius, connecting to his Venus in Aquarius, and that's a very favorable transit. That's a high point in recognition. Finances. Um, just a very favorable transit only happens once every 12 years. So I thought that was interesting and was a nice moment. They are, um for Andy Reid and then Bruce Arians. What's interesting? I saw something on Think it was a football life yesterday on Bruce Arian, just like a highlight of his career, And he has a positive Jupiter aspect. You put a try and son October 3rd 1952. January to February. 10th life is usually abundant, happy, confident, capable of achieving goals, more optimism and self confidence. But Mercury opposed Pluto's can be overbearing power struggles with others. So that's a little bit of a challenge there for air. Ian's Andy Reed's chart looks very strong, um, with those positive Jupiter aspect, so it'll be interesting to see Um what exactly plays out there because I did the coaches charts and the QB and then Mercury retrograde Andy. That's a real wild card. Yes, January 30th just started yesterday. February 20th and that rose communication, um, technology, So expect a lot of replays. Reduce some communication. Um, miscommunications. And I think I alluded to it. The last time Mercury retrograde during the Super Bowl was the Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction and all the replays smell and Andy Reid clock issue coming up. Andrea said it my friend. Very Andrea. Thank you for the breakdown. I love it that you take the time and give us some some fun stuff and looking at it a little differently at Virgo in service on Twitter, Andrea. Thank you, my friend and you know, it was really interesting about what Injurious said about Tom Brady. Needs to be appreciated. The whole the feeling of Hey, man, you're doing a good job here. That is one thing. That's a fair criticism of Bill Bell check rolled over the Tom Brady and it's interesting because look, we have our fun with Andrea and she's breaking it down with, you know, all the mercury retrograde in all this stuff, and we can have a good time with it right. But Those do kind of breakdown. Personalities, do they? Not like she even talked about me and my wife. While it's very passive. She's okay to be lead. I'm very much the okay driver's seat. Here we go. Let's go kind of thing. But I think that was a bit of a problem for Tom Brady as it went along for as his years, one along in New England. I guess I'm trying to say, whereas Robert Kraft Would be more than willing to come down will of Tom Bread, his the greatest quality bicycles ever lived and his essentially another child to may. Whereas a bill ballot Jack is, um yeah, it's all about theater team. Well, Tom played well but with a lot of other good things out there to snorting into the microphone when he's given normal press conference. I think that is a part of the deal and look I also think They're from some people that I've talked to around that Tampa organization. Then, in the very beginning, there was that sort of strong headedness from Bruce Air Ian's, and he was smart enough to realize, uh, yeah, I got a unicorn here. In a guy who can teach other people the way he wants things done. So maybe I'll take a half a step back and just sort of let the quarterback maybe have a lot of input as to how he wants things done. "Back cheated on moonlight. Were here here. We go super bowl. Rex ryan there. You go super bowl scares me about coming to the super bowl home combined so good on getting the ten super bowl in nineteen years of play and it's incomprehensible watch beyond anything. We could ever imagine it here. We are brady looking for super bowl number seven february seven super bowl fifty five. It's in tampa. We've been going down memory lane with brad. Johnson derrick brooks booker mcfarland all the great members of that championship team with key. The latest is rhonda. He joins us on the goodyear hotline. Brought to you by good. You're helping you discover the road ahead. Goodyear more driven. Your team was super impressive. Back in the day. What impresses you the most on this current generation the bucks the nfc champions heading to super bowl fifty five besides the quarterback. Obviously i mean this is. Essentially the same team is last year with one nuke key ingredient. I mean obviously you bringing Antonio antonio brown but you know the reality is this team is the team. That finished seventy nine last year Didn't have a hint at of sniffing the super bowl so the quarterback got misusing president. Todd bowles defense. I think If i'm being from honestly answering this question the last half of the season especially in in the fourth quarter of the season he played really well. They started creating turnovers They won three games on the road to get through the playoffs into the super bowl. And i did it by creating turnovers they have great players upfront in in j p p shack. Burt so that it was the defense. You can talk forever in keystone. Probably love to talk about the the weapons on offense because that's been the narrative all year but the reality is that the defense started playing better it in the season and got him to where they are. Now shocker rhonda bar around a bear. Look i ache. I swear to you. I said it all along the defense. Tom is terrific toddlers. No question about it. But it's the defense and todd bowles and as you know tom's going to get the major credit but that defense the second half like you said is just been tremendous lights out. Think about it. Tom brady in the second. Half of the green bay game. Three turner was not. You know not great but then the defense only gives up six points. I mean so. You know exactly what that means. Let me ask you this minute. Long time. haven't talked to you in quite some time. What is it like in tampa right now with the bucks being in super bowl. Yeah you know when when we were going through it kids are. It's hard to realize you know what's going on outside the building right but now i'm completely outside the building. I'm a fan. Like everybody else. And i would say. The excitement level started back in the summer. Just when you sign the dude. Just when you bring in tom the expectation level rise in expectation level. Rival you rising around the community you know is really the same that happened on the team. You bring gallic. Like tom brady. It's not like he's coming in here. Just you know right out his career. He's coming here when in. So there's an expectation level that is that is that is permeating through every aspect of of life in tampa in as a player. You don't really feel that you're just going to work doing your job. I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go be my best self every sunday but being on the other side of this now key. It's ridiculous and i'd be lying if i would if i was saying that everybody didn't expect us to be here At this point in this community now that's still has to go happen right. You still got to go win games. You still got to you know. Get on a seven game winning streak like the bucks are right now but i mean this is it's it's palpable right. I can't say that this is more or less exciting than our than our super bowl run. Obviously that was historic because it was our first one. But this one feels even a little bit more Special because maybe because it's a little unexpected. You played a number years in the nfl covered all sorts of receivers running backs and tight ends and all sorts of players on the offense inside ball. What is it the bucks defense need to do to slow down the chiefs offense as you saw the first time around in november. What the chiefs y- especially tyreek hill. Yeah i just watched that game a couple of days ago key And look that game was twenty seven to ten at one point. And i'm not gonna lie if the bucks just ran out of time you remember what grease to say. I've never lost a game. I just ran out of time. Yeah that's how that game felt tyreek had what two hundred sixty yards in. I in the first half if you put kansas kansas city in a situation where were patrick. Can identify man-to-man defense right away. You're gonna get beat because nobody can cover ten. He's not known as the fastest guy in the nfl image. Scotty miller gives them a little a little rumford money there but he's a contortionist you know when he's covered he's still makes catches in watch the first half of that game in november at the end of november carlton davis had good coverage but he was just getting beat in the second half of that game. Go back and watch the second half of that game on defense and watch all the adjusted. They played kept everything in front. You know the the to add russia's started getting after the back and it became a game where they felt like they were going to win right in. I have like no chance of winning this game. The second half. We got a chance to win this. And i i would say keep stopping the run game. Because you're gonna keep trying to run which they didn't do well in the first game and then just find a win double ten ten and ten eighty seven. You know they they have. They have defense that are capable of do that. They did it last week in in in bay You know if if you can put some pressure on on patrick. I think you've got a chance to beat him and just take away his quick options you know tampa bay find a way rhonda keep you favor. Key please indulge me. Tell me what was key like leading up to big games. I'm sure you have some key stories the same way he is on tv. You know loud bombastic and braggadocious and the damn ball a brooding little phase like that and when when he's not in all comes out bid i think is j. j. I never said nothing different. That's true key. I give you that doesn't it but i. I came to work every sunday. Alto i'll tell you what though j. He probably had the second best smile on team though. So what do you. What would this win. Mean for not. Only tom brady. But also bruce arians in the bucks team in general. Yeah sure i mean this. Validates it for tom right. It's not like he's not already validated. As if you are really the best quarterback of all time but to go and do it and bring a team up. You know really. In a year. I would say that tampa organization probably allow the players at some point middle of the season when they were seven and five. We'll probably saying you know what we had all these all this adversity all these things against us you know. Maybe next year is our year right and they lose the kansas city in your life worse. What is this team going to look like the rest of the season. And that's when he got on a seven game win streak that they're that they're currently on and it became next year became this year right and so what it means i think for for tom is yeah. He's had this chip on his shoulder since he was a sixth round draft. Pick seventh round draft. Pick and I think he must do obliterate anybody's doubt whether or not he's the greatest quarterback ever me and that's why you come the tampa to try to win the super bowl this year in for ba in look we know what his his record is He was pittsburgh indianapolis tournament winners when arizona tournament winners he comes to tampa in two years. He's turned them into winners. Earned a super bowl man. This is is is probably one of the greatest stories that the nfl has seen for god. It was that old to get his first opportunity to coach when he was in his sixties and in turn basically three franchises into contenders He he meant that he'd never meant his words. He wants to win. The super bowl is first best opportunity to do it. So i think it be in the world but my i love be as like my uncle and I don't know if i've rooted. I probably rooting for him now. More than for myself back in. Two thousand two rhonda. What do you make higher. Houston houston texas. Higher coach kelly. Who's been around for twenty seven years first opportunity. You mentioned bruce arians first opportunity and what he's done with those.

"It's the thing that really I think it's been so great about him is that and I could say this about the whole coaching staff. You bring a guy like Tom Brady in You know, Coaching is very much an ego driven saying, and you have to have an ego about yourself to be successful, but they recognize that like Well while bringing him in a time. You know, they need to take a few steps back and listen to what he has to stay and give him input and dire is done that I think firing done a great job of taking input from Tom, you know, taking the principles of Bruce Arians is offense and finding a way to merge them. It's just they weren't able to do it during the off season, and I thought that that it's anything that was what was going to hold them back. No, they didn't enter the season. You know, they didn't hit the ground running the way they would have wanted to because they just they didn't have enough time together with no off season, But they found a way to make it work in each season's for each game. Excuse me, They got incrementally better and then towards the latter part of the season they really started to, I think, finally get some synergy going on offense, But all those pieces started to click. But that just doesn't happen when when it left, which you know, isn't taking input from all around him. You know, he started incorporating more play action. He's started incorporating more pre snap motion and even motion at the snap. Which is something Brady. That area is just really hasn't done much of so I just give them all credit for their open mindedness and willingness to listen and I think that that's often times not just football, the professional sports I think it's something a lot of coaches black, but the staff doesn't Man, so much good stuff to get into. But I got to say my favorite thing in the playoff run was last week. Devon White Given us the quote of the playoffs as far as I'm concerned, general our identity Where some folks at it there. You know, some some folks that's gonna go find a way to win. And to me, That's kind of what you saw. Ultimately, if you had to sum it up today, um, is that You credit that's a Brady or is that also kind of these guys understanding the magnitude of the moment and what they are best at I think Brady plays a big role in that because those guys and talking to them this offseason they don't want to be the weak link. They did not want to be. The reason why this team wasn't able to be a successful is that could I think back to the Seattle game last year where the Bucks gave him a good game and actually took it over time. But you know Jemele Dean, a cornerback, a rookie cornerback at the time, You know, he gave up three touchdowns and that didn't sit well with those guys. So then that group those guys in their secondary started coming in at, like, five and six o'clock in the morning to meet with hot bowls and just going over film, and they continue to do that going into this year. Like I think those guys just really understand that, you know, they don't wanna be the reason that this team sales and they felt the pressure that even for He felt a responsibility to Tom. You know, two tickets for me to honor his legacy, and it really just to live up to the standards said he has they see the kind of standard Tom has for himself, and they recognize Hey, like, you know, we've got standards for ourselves too, You know. We're gonna We're gonna bite back. And for a long time, this buck's defense really got away from itself from what it was. You know what the fucking years of yesteryear with Brooks and and you know, Staff and Lynch and all those guys Brandy Barber. They got away from that. You know, being a real defensive powerhouse, and so they they really wanted to try to get back to that. And I also know they've some of those preseason rankings that come out there was one that I think it was through the NFL that said that they were the 32nd rank secondary. I know those guys on the back end were really not happy about that, and I know that was a source of motivation for them Throughout the season, they Really thrived off of people underestimating them, and I'm glad you mentioned Devon White because he's just such a joy to watch. It still blows my mind that this guy missed two games because he had covert 19 and he goes out there and it doesn't just You know, not only doesn't miss a beat, but he plays like a hair is on fire right? Like the guys everywhere, and he's just become a takeaway machine. And I'll tell you this. Nobody is more excited about it than Derrick Brooks. Like I mentioned him a few seconds ago. I talked to Brooke. And he just had the biggest smile on his face, and he started texting people in the organization right after that, same twin, and he's like one more, one more, one more, and I talked to him this week and he's like, I hope we're gonna be talking to get next week. And well and behold. They're in it. It's really just mind blowing. Yeah, it's really got to be great for all those great alumni of the Tampa Bay. Buck's been a couple decades since they've been in a spot like this. Now they're literally literally make history as the first team to host a Super Bowl in their home stadium. So, Jenny, you will have to go very far. The next couple of weeks. I'll better be nice for you to kind of be in your own bed. And I know we're gonna have some questions for Todd Bowles and Bruce Arians as it looks like the chiefs of the team they're gonna match up with in the Super Bowl. How do you prevent what happened last two times at the last time part of me that these two teams met because there was no answer for Tyreek Hill knows the difference is the She's beat the Bucks earlier in the regular season, but Tom Brady the Bucks he's back in the Super Bowl, and he's bringing the bucks with him cannot wait to see how it all unfolds for that Tampa organization generally appreciate you taking the time to join us here on Game night and we look for to chat with you again as we lead up to the Super Bowl. Absolutely. Let's do it again. That's ESPN Bucks reporter General Lane..

"Doing Barclay Michael Jordan in their way but I I'd like to see him pitch. Welcome rooting for the dodgers I. I don't know if you even have an interest but dusty Baker nearly got his team into the world series that actually and I know they're cheaters but I was rooting for dusty to luck I was fruit for testy and I know they're cheaters too and that was that was archer the reason they hired dusty was because He was so beloved and respected in baseball that he would defuse the anti ass feeling. Perfect that the Astros win the world series would've been, it would have been poetic. If that would have happened look I'm and. I'm rooting for Goliath here to dodgers. Because I know people in the dodgers organization and what it would mean to them I don't know anybody. In Tampa Organization and I have the feeling that if Tampa wins, it's Abou addition of the. St Faceless. starlets kind of baseball. That the squad wants when you know they're sitting in their basement with their slide rules and they're saying, well, let's just changes play with this player. Really doesn't matter. You know he's a star or not. You know his analytics say this Tampa is the team that represents that animal when it's a step towards it's a step towards It's a win for the bad guys. How's that? Well, the dodgers earn analytic seem to I know that but they turn around and they traded for Mookie Betts. Yeah. They did and he's been phenomenal Do you have a pick or not? Do I have a pick. No you don't because you know I don't have a pick, but I have one thing to say to you before we go what? Antonio, Brown can return in two weeks. God. Think about that. I just I. Just did and and my thought is no chance. But it would be a you know what? It would make our jobs a little. I would add some spice to a season that's basically got none left. "Tom Brady is the quarterback of the Tampa Bay buccaneers man. Just saying it sounds strange. What are they gonNA look like? He's GonNa look glorious like you always looks. I mean come on Guys Beautiful. I suit you right. I have been on the Tampa Bay. This is what I'm concerned about. I've been on the Tampa Bay beat for Wa. I'M BUDDIES WITH BRUCE. Arians like Bruce and I are pretty tight head coach of the Tampa. Bay buccaneers tight with Jason Light. A matter of fact I texted within this morning with Jason Light who is their GM. So I'm like tight with. I'm probably I'm I'm feeling like the Tampa Games. You're going to Joe Buck and you got Brady all of a sudden you become you become like the destination spot. As a matter of fact it happened here in Denver in two thousand twelve. You remember it. Well you were doing local radio here. Endeavor is working to ESPN and when they signed Peyton manning it was just like like the heavens opened up right it was just like Oh and a light shine down from above and every free agent in her brother's uncle called upset. Can I COME TO DENVER? I WANNA play. I'll take less money and right. Now we're report from Adam. Schefter has has been out there on the Internet. Saying t people are calling free agents or calling the Tampa Bay buccaneers begging to come play for the Tampa Bay buccaneers because of the Brady connection. Like THIS IS A. We've seen it before he called it out of the Lebron fact. I'm calling the Peyton manning effect I think it goes even beyond what Peyton did and and believe me I was. I was here when when Peyton came aboard. But UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCES. Payton hadn't played the year before Payton had gone through a number surgeries. There were all kinds of questions about whether or not he physically could even play but with Brady. You're talking about a guy who just played. Last year he led his team to twelve wins and he was back in the playoffs. He's only a year removed from winning the Super Bowl from going to. What three straight super bowls so the jarring nature of Brady going from New England Tampa? I think even dwarfs manning going from Indie Denver you are. You Are Missing One. Key factor in the manning to Denver situation. What's that we just came off a couple years washing? T. Bo right and yes the lights one year on very yeah unique but long year. Yeah in which you got a tattoo on your shoulder and yeah so we ended up watching that thing. Unfold and the football people ready to to make a change But it's it's amazing to think what this franchise is going through. And you look at this franchise Mike I. I had the opportunity to do several Tampa Games and just from a pure talent sandpoint. All right so let's break down this disorganization organization in general one. You look them defensively and look how they struggled. At how many big place? They gave up early in the season. Todd Bowles took over former jets head coach but remember he was the Defense Coordinator for Bruce Arians in Arizona when they were going to the playoffs and they were competing at a very high level. So it's a very complex blitz man coverage. Come after you type of defense and you look at the way. They're constructed defensively Mike. Every player than like J. p. p. but just about every player Young linebackers right Devan white is. Is It von White? It just young sideline to sideline you know. Great Player Their whole secondary is littered with first and second year rookie first year. Second Year. Rookie I you. The whole secondary is is built. That way they are young and talented on defense. I mean super talent via has become at least on the inside does a young player out of Washington. I believe so. Are you look at the way? Their defense is constructed. They are going to be an aggressive. Turn the ball over. We may give up a few big plays. But we're going to get you the ball back type of defense and you look at them. Offensively Man I Mike Evans may be one of the top you know. He's one of the top five receivers in football but fit from physical prison standpoint. He may be number one from a physical standpoint like six five and two whatever and and a nasty competitor and big time. You Big Time Player. Chris. Godwin is the best run after catch he has. He has blossomed on the scene as a great receiver. A great guy. You'll get there too tight ends cameron break in. Oj Howard control in the middle of the football field for them inside three offensive linemen pretty pretty good pretty solid inside three Jones the running back and got a USC is a pretty dynamic player that looked like he was about ready to bust. You bust a few a few big plays and start to kind of bust on the scene so this should answer once and for all the question that Brady didn't have enough around him last year and that explained why he didn't look say for guys like me. Mike who have said Brady hasn't lost right for guys like me you. There's a lot of guys out there in the business that I'm in. As a as a national kind of analyst then sit there and say Aha the precipitous fall. Tom Brady. It's not about the receivers he's dropped and he's this and he's that he's an. I look at it like I still see a skillset as good as I saw when Brady was thirty at forty two like he hasn't he hasn't dropped off on his ability to see things he hasn't dropped off his ability to to throw the football he has velocity hasn't dropped off like his physical skills to me have not diminished. Well this will prove it then. Yeah because he's got the weapons now. Absolutely there's got options. There's no question about it Mike. He's got a ton of options. And so I really really like where he fits here And they've got some other guys they got some other guys. It can flat out run that that have the ability to maybe be. You know a big time like a big time third receiver type of Guy Oh man they've got some kids this speed they've got. I mean from a talent standpoint Mike offensively. There's talent there to offense of tackles. Are you know Donald Smith and Dotson our our average you know average players but I like marquette inside I like you know Jensen is is a just a grinder in that nasty kind of tough guy? Kappa Kappa. There Right Guard is division like three player who played last year. Played a game with a broken arm. So they've got some guys The Justin Watson Kid plays outside. It's pretty good Scotty Miller can really run four three kid like he could be the Julian Edelman type inside you know with quickness and stuff that he possesses so I I think they've got a chance to be really really good. Well one thing and this is this is going to be a treat for the guys that play in Tampa that have that have been you know part of the team the last couple years on. Here's here's what's going to be fun to watch and for the people who cover the box and everything is that the moment Tom Brady walks into that building. The culture changes yeah immediately and I saw it with when Peyton came here. So the broncos prior to that you know had been sort of a middling you know type team kind of living in that You know eight and eight nine and seven type world. Manning showed up and I'll never forget I was out there for the for his first work. I was not a running around in shorts and mark it was. It was tangible. I mean you could see you feel it the difference. Everybody was just. They were locked in a different way they were. They were on their toes different way because Peyton was out there. And Brady's GonNa do the same thing you know. John Fox was the coach here when Peyton came aboard said he lifts all boats. Yeah you know. He's like the way I'd rises. Although he's like the way the high tide lifts all boats. That's what Brady will do. And for a Tampa Organization and the face it has been a losing organization with losing culture forever. It seems they've been the place my since two thousand seven. Yes yeah that guy's GonNa walk in the building and instantly the whole mindset is going to change because the goats in there and it'll be it'll be fascinating watching you as a former player can probably appreciate what's coming how that changes coming because you've been part of championship teams and you understand the feeling that permeates a room right when you're on that kind of team and the moment he walks in that door that feelings gonna come with them right and people and the players are going to feel it. I'll they're gonNA look around and go. Whoa I'll say yeah I always say just because you play a pro. Sport doesn't make you professional. Well he walks in that building. There's a new sense of professionalism and people are going to look at it and go. Oh shoot this is what this is. Why like this is how you win championships. Like they're going to be a lot of guys within that organization. Mike that think Dave study that think they prepared that think have worked and they're going to be like Holy Shit. Yeah I ain't done squat right. That's the that's the way things change like I was talking I was talking to Danny Amendola who I firmly believe got pushed out New England because he was he was close to being as handsome is Brady and you know that Brady Jimmy. Garoppolo got pushed out. He's as handsome as Brady I couldn't work in New England because I'm as handsome as Brady. He wouldn't have let me in there. He won't let me Tampa There's just no question in my mind. I probably won't be able to call game 'cause I'm just as handsome as him and that's going to be a problem for Tom but in all seriousness. I'm talking to Danny Amendola Angles. He's just a different cat like we'll be we'll play. We'll play a game on the Road Right. And so you're on the road you play a game. You know everybody showers. You do your press conferences and all that kind of stuff and then everybody grabs one of the. They always have these. Everybody knows the box lunch right. The it comes in this white box. And there's you know you either get like roast beef Turkey or ham right and cheese sandwich. Then it's got a little packet economists with got mustard and it's got man as right you get an apple in there and you get a cookie and a bag of chips. It's always the same a hundred percent of the time twelve years that I played in the League for twelve years. You got the box lunch and same frequent box. Lunch guys are eating right now. Right that thing will never change its indestructible. I think it's pump full of preservatives. There's no way that it routes. You could take that box lunch. You can take week one box lunch and we twelve and you'll be fine. There's nothing wrong with right. And by the way how did they get the Saran wrap so tight on the apple high so tight on the apple that you could almost like you almost like? You're about ready to buy a weight. This is covered Saran wrap. It's amazing there's not one wrinkle. I don't know how they doing real genius. Yeah I really don't know how to do it. But anyhow so you get the box lunch then you go on the bus. You grab a couple beers right and everybody's sits in their seat and Danny Amendola goes. I'm grabbed my boss.
