Los Angeles Dodgers win World Series, but also become super spreaders of the virus?

"They won with a powerful lineup. But did they risk turning the world Siri's into a corona virus super spreader into a super spreader event? It Let's let's talk about the good things for a Shall we then Los Angeles Dodgers win the World Series first time since 1988 and had been a long time coming in a lot of failed a lot of false starts at the beginning of this decade in terms of winning So many division titles and just sputtering in the playoffs, losing to the infamous Houston Astros in the 2017 world, serious getting beaten by the Red Sox in 2018, and this time they were great. They were fantastic. Even Clayton Kershaw that everyone talked about couldn't get the monkey off of his back. He comes out and wins. Two games in the series, and it was great for them. I think that they they did it the way that great teams are supposed to. They scored more than half of their runs with two outs. Everyone's looking for all that clutch. All those clutch performances and the Dodgers really did come through. They were They were fantastic. Even with the crazy game for 87 collapse that we thought was going to turn the Siri's around in a different direction tied it, too. But at the very At the next turn, The Dodgers come back and they never look back. They are champions, and they very much deserved it. Even though it was an eight game season. It was very much Before playoffs and everything else. Yeah, it's it's a legit championship. But but but but but Justin Turner removed from the game because it was positive for Corona virus. He returned for a celebration often mask lists hugging people. He sat next to Dave Roberts, the manager who is a cancer survivor, and therefore more at risk. How How do you finish that sentence? How do we characterize this? Well, he characterizes as a massive massive Hey, irresponsibility on the part of Justin Turner on the part of the Dodgers and certainly on the part of Major League baseball, even though Major League Baseball has tried to get out in front of this by laying the blame at the feet of Justin Turner, and it is his responsibility. However, I have a hard time believing that that he was allowed to play with an inconclusive test, so they took him off of the field after the test was Was found to be positive. But if you have an inconclusive test, how do you let him play in the first place? And so everyone's going to take responsibility for this, But this is what we're seeing across the board were seeing this at the University of Florida with all of their positive test. We're seeing it with the big 10 as well on the Big 10 had made the decision earlier not to play, and then they got bullied by the president into playing, and now they're canceling games. This is the thing Scott we talked about this months ago. Everyone saw this coming, but this country has just made a decision not to care about it. And, of course, the discussion of the weak. Ah, Kevin Cash, the Tampa manager, pulling Blake smell Blake Snell, Tampa Cy Young Award winning pitcher after he struck out nine after just 5.5 innings because of analytics. Tampa lost with almost the next pitch as this decision become emblematic of these over analysed times. Well, absolutely. But I had a revelation during this world serious guy and I think I've always known it, but it it wasn't crystallized until watching this. I don't watch baseball or I don't watch sports for wins and losses. I watch sports for competition. And this this thing they did not let Blake smell compete. And this happened at a time. When look at who we lost during this baseball season where you've lost the great picture, Whitey Ford, you lost the great competitor, Bob Gibson. And these players, they're legends come from competition, and if you're not going to let a player compete, what is the purpose of being a Cy Young Award winner? You're not even going to be allowed to have these classic championship moments. If they pull you out of the game. This is why we watch in baseball. At least the Tampa Bay Rays took that away from us. Howard Bryant of ESPN Well said, Thanks so much. Thank you.

Why can't the New York Yankees beat that team issue outside of the injuries that they've had to deal with? The Rays are really good. Hello because the race can pitch. So that's the difference, right? Like we've seen. We always say, right. We're safe. Defense wins Championships rights of that is that is what we say in baseball, especially in this current of iron season. I mean, we have had, you know, the biggest, you know. Like list of injuries ever in Major League baseball history for pitching in terms of amount of numbers, So this is exactly what everyone is concerned about. And then that's the same thing so I mean, this is getting a little bit of Ah ah! I just don't even know what to say about the season anymore. Right here. I go there and let me do that, and this is going to happen. It definitely doesn't. It's been an interesting of has been an interesting exercise and trying to stay on the field. Molly did when you talk to players, How do they feel about going out there day in day out now that we have a bulk of games that we have seen, and we've seen a ton of stoppages on a day in day out basis. How do they feel about going out there? Good questions. I have to say that the Yankees are the one team and maybe this is what was giving them an advantage right before they got clipped by the race as you well left. Maybe That's the one thing that gave him an advantage because the fact that they should you know, we used to hear every single team complain, complain, complain, and obviously there are a lot of reasons to complain. I am not saying here that these guys don't have a right to write. This is there's a lot of things that they're going to, they can't complain. What the Yankees refused. And every time you ask, Hey, how about the port of Hey, How about putting that mask on all the time? Hey, how about not speeding or not eating another window and every answer, Wass. This is what we have to do right now, and this is what we have to do to win a championship. But I think that has been unique for that team. I've heard that from the Yankees and I've seen the same thing from the Blue Jays, and we know that other guy was, you know, we were saying before that it's about pitching, and that's why the Rays are doing so well, well, this current of her season is going to be about attitude. Reversal turning the frown upside down here from Ireland from our terrible fundamentals at the top of the show to what could be coming and I did a good job. I think Adam is GONNA at least spike the football I think. Keep a certain manager for the bills for another five years in far with. I haunt I. But otherwise man I think this team is heading in the right direction. Thank God. We have the oriels coming up after Tampa Bay and I like what I'm seeing. So hopefully, they can ride the momentum with this offense. They can collect a couple more winds get ahead of the oriels and hey, look red sox in the last place. They could. Let's. Finish below the Orioles. Every day small outlet has been ribbing the Baltimore Orioles. Define irony moments. You thought they fired a lot of people last season. "It's pretty exciting to see them all feeding off each other and absolutely crushing it for sure. This is the interesting part about the blue. Jays organization is far from somebody like me that's been watching this team grown from twenty to fifteen on because I was the Miley writer for jail for so long. Guys, this is the process coming into full form here. The fact that the pipe is full of these young players way past even what we're seeing right now it's all the way still would be playing lansing Vancouver level at this point that is insanely d. Is Only, at war. Crazy. To the point where this is going to get more and more talented, and if we're seeing this in a sixty game season where people like Jordan Romano are all of a sudden jumping to set up role. It's Kinda crazy to see this happening already it only could meet good things Adam. Jumping. Nine. Agree we we've talked about this for years about how the Blue Jays are forming their front office I should say are forming a nice assembly line. Players just in case anything happens if a player's pan now or if there's a trade made, they can just have someone ready to fill in that position on a dime. They might not come out guns blazing on the it might take some growing pains or hopefully we seen the worst of Nate Pearson and I and I hope that's true because that dude has just lights out but it's just that kind of mentality there. They are feeding off each other. You can tell this is very, very tight group and it's a collective tight group and that's what I like to see. It's not like cliquey rate and I don't want. To disrespect the two, thousand, Fifteen, sixteen teams but you can tell that they had pockets of their own cliques in the locker room maybe it worked for them. No but you can just tell that it was sort of separated whereas this team they grew up together they thrive together they developed together and you want to see that you want to see that family kind of atmosphere and seeing it play out and for wishing and seeing them play a unit. It gives me confidence and you have to admire the front office their confidence in them and their unwillingness to break that. You see these embarrassment of riches and other teams in the League. All just trade them them get value trait. This front office refuses to do that, and some people may not like that I love it. I love the continuity I love the collective in the cohesion. You just can't ask for for more. So when it comes to what we're seeing develop, I think it's special. Yeah and just this week the other end of that thing, the whole by the trade, all the assets of riches my buffalo sabres has suck. I good player or players come through that organization in the last ten years. Two wins the outer..

"That is the stable core of it. In the Blue Jays can produce runs. This team could be. I don't WanNa say dangerous but it could make some noise if they have to do it soon. But I, I am happy that the bullpen has been figured out for lack of a better way to put it. Yeah apprehension. This was allegedly one the weak spots and that's why they went out and got guys like lease and Bass and company actually run with us. But the resurgence of what we were expecting from Jordan Romano Ryan Baraki has been a big big big piece of Brennan your turn. I A sold on John Romano as the closer for next year I mean, if Ken Giles isn't reside. Kids shown the enough already and they'll out of you're claiming Thomas Pinault in Rhode. Island and bother you claim frank howling auto. Other. But I'm cleaning out. Just, down the road where up here in Toronto he And I can drive the market like ten minutes. I know what high school he went to. all quarter motto and no he's been absolutely fantastic I mean long gone are the days of the starter for him and Adam certainly agree with you know I know Ryan Baraki still wants to be a starter and I still think we will see him back in the rotation at some point but man, that's a damn good fall back up or am if the rest of the trump doesn't. Like he's already had an issue of a history of arm issues too. So when you pre not into consideration with the velocity uptick and everything like in the battle for who could be the lefty spot right now Anthony K and Ryan, Barack on neck and neck, but with the history of our misuse for Ryan Barracuda I lead A. Fanie I really do in terms of the first left that should go into the rotation, but for this year in a weird year, keep it the way it is and Thomas Hatch. I, know we really haven't mentioned much and he did give up the lead the other night, but he's been equally impressive and I wouldn't be surprised if hatch opens up is the fifth starter next year you know who's really missing out and being engine. Right now Trent Thornton transporting as quickly going to be losing his spot in the rotation he will get it probably when he comes back with Anderson Theaters. But all these other guys have way better stuff than Trent Thornton dozen Thorton. I would think it's pretty well in the bullpen. We saw that last year when he came in after the opener, he pitches weld one or two times the order and that's about it. So Thornton a big loser With with all, these guys could so well. Let the ground is leveling with the were coming up from buffalo this year and..

"So it was a little bit better but still guys you know the general narrative is that they can't hit what Saudi on scoring in scoring position. Adam. Yet but that's Again. This has been bluejays narrative for years even in two thousand fifteen that was kind of a thing. Yeah. Clutch hitter we had right. Home run or or Boston right now looking at yesterday's you know the the final line here it looks like the only. Person in the lineup on offense that had an extra base hit. That wasn't home run obviously was rowdy with two doubles. Down be the person I would expect to do that. But here we are yeah, they they need to put the ball. In the field they need to hit more just to get into position. I-, Bobby, like you said, I love the home runs I really do but I need to see more I know more more just hitting for contact rather than hitting for launch really even though it's fun it is fun. It's very fun. But one thing we the other guys I regardless of the fact that someone was turned the game off some of us came back and forth. The game what ended up being fun to watch regardless of how about his -Mell it Sarah. So I think that's GonNa be the big narrowed this season. These guys are going to be fun to watch in general. but we've been saying that for a few years now and the narrative needs to change just a touch. That's where some of that stuff with the apprehension, my toy `ISMs and whatnot have come into play by collectively guys we are now. Six and nine for the season. There's been a few guys out that I'd like to talk about. and. Obviously, we've already talked about Anthony but I think we're GonNa talk a little bit more why not? Find Him Jordan Romano Anthony Bass have formed Enron Baraki. Form is a really respectable bullpen for most major league teams. Regardless of the fact that I rosser is little exploded right now with extra layers guys you're going to be. Putting team together right now actually had to have the twenty five man roster. I would assume all four of those guys are easily in your list and probably or go to leverage geist Bobby I'll let you start. I don't don't sleep on Ken. Giles I know. We got hurt. But if you back is he's a beast. Can't. And then you have some awesome guys for the end of the game and I like we said. It's good to have anthony be a starter or come in as an opener. To eat up beginning so I, don't mind him anywhere starting over leaving, but the end of the game is where I'm pretty confident if you've got a rookie for the seven Romano for the show. Best for the night I mean come on those are that's a good open right there in Pitching. Yet, the definitely on a any majorly bulletin. Sure. You know one of the positions are one of the areas that we were concerned heading into the season besides outfield was the bullpen and they have surprised me a lot and and I'm really happy with the production especially from Baraki Baraki looks confident out there. There's something arts. Yeah. Do there something that flipped in him? I don't know if it's the pressure being off of him not being a starting pitcher maybe this is where he's going to thrive kind of like a Brett see. So kind of thing let it go. Let them go man just let them start you know tossing he i. Love It I think the bullpen is solid with with those guys that you mentioned and I think..

"Yes so Unless they know there's been no clutching recently I get the home runs I mean like you said, it's Homerun Finley ballpark. You know five balls going out. I mean at this field. It's possible you. As A. Long-term. Continuation I don't know we gotTA start getting some clutch hits. What were they yesterday I saw it I feel like one for whatever. So more. Clutch singles. Position. Students manufacturer. Because the home runs aren't always going to be there you know. and. The rays have better pitching then. The marlins throughout US yesterday. So. So, you must be really a new Blue Jay Fan. If you haven't learned calls, we do a swing for the fences. All nothing. brandon is your turn to take over from here. Yet, no I. I agree I think it was one for eleven but they were. Outside of the home run yesterday, they have not had all when run right with one for eleven. I just pulled the box. I know it's That's another thing that led me to turn off the damn game yesterday because. On Day, this. Entire season but they haven't hit with Reuters getting Kinda insane Yeah. I, need to feed that because you're not going to be hitting what would. Be Run a homer very often. Very. Often probably, maybe never again, maybe a few years who knows like like yeah, you gotTA start hitting with writers boy position I don't remember it hasn't happened this year and it didn't happen very often last year I just don't remember the last time they put any together where they have single after double double single maybe throw in a triple and just keep on getting off of the starter or the pitcher on the mound at the time I had been missing for quite a while and that would be more welcomed. Run, to be completely honest because home run will be there eventually but you got a string together those singles and doubles very consistently which they're not doing. So is one size of runners in scoring position thing was last night like you've mentioned one for eleven with Reuters and scoring position yesterday, they were four for seven in the first game of the series..

"They're. So bobby as a Yankee Fan. You know the Tampa Bay rays little too well now, you don't twice with both teams. Are you fearing that this team is all of a sudden you start running up and the Blue Jays might have their hands full going this weekend or is this going to be something that they actually will be able to rise above and? Be Out. Of prediction of only one win. So. As you know. Last year, he made his Major League debut against the race. When he tied the franchise record for strikeouts in game. So let's put that into consideration when you guys talked about maybe shift through the anthem day. But what happens if rock now goes three innings one time around the lineup and Anthony goes four or five innings midi bit it's all being taken into consideration Maybe that's the game plan and they were going to stick to it. And I I don't know I mean the raise, their great team ball club. They don't scare me as much as they were playing the Yankees but with that lineup but. I don't see why they can't say to. Ten Bucks Borgen this year like you said, the Marlins are like. The double eighteen. They got going on nobody scouting reports on Shit. Who was that? It's like watching who's on first or something. So. Fronted preview me the Tampa Bay rays and from your perspective sir. Yeah, I'll be happy. One for sure I mean I. I. I need to see more from Tanner Roark I. Mean if he doesn't go out there and walk five. I in third like he did against the Red Sox last week then maybe he can pitch more like the guy who pitched welcome national and it would J B and I was actually pretty impressed with Jason Anderson I know only three, but he did look pretty good against the red sock. Saturday so I yeah. Should knowing shoemakers going on Sunday and the fact that shoemaker in his first game back after ACL breezed through the raise lineup I think Sunday might be the most but one I just checked. They haven't announced any of the starters for the race but yeah. I'M GONNA say one but I can see the potential for two. If roark eight doesn't go out there and walk the entire Red Sox. Are the raise wind up this time and who knows maybe chase Anderson this time goes for and bobby comes..

"Good Evening Blue Jays fans and welcome to another wonderful evening of Jaybird. It is glued off day but here we do not apparently get any breaks because we're slave-drivers like that. So anyways, we're here we have a very special gasp, but I got introduced my normal friends and colleagues here, and of course, brandon panic car. How's IT GOING FELLAS? You having a nice week so far Joe Blue Jays Mafia. That's all I gotta say. We gave. Buffalo Blue Day where the table. Yeah. Where are the tables and I could see already with your your you know giant bills, Afghan or whatever the heck you got going on behind him no. Police blanket. I said. Say Afghan. Anyway as you all could probably see we have a certain gentleman that is labeled with bobby down here in the The Wonderful. Bobby Kay how are you welcome back to the show man? It's good to have you. Guys. Thanks for having me Jays fans what's up. So bobby for everybody out there. That might not know you on twitter which if they aren't falling blue twitter, obviously, they're not paying too much attention but lighten everybody to your relation to the blue. Eventually we're GONNA to have a beer together we're gonNA have good times and It's GonNa be that much fun. But until then we are very much enjoying the fact that your brother is joining the what is turning out to be very good pitching staff and gentlemen. By starting this off without where the teams at right now, do you see Anthony K coming into this rotation in the very near future because he's been putting on a hell of a show? I I hope so but it it kind of if I'm being pragmatic about it Kinda has to hinges on thorns availability Thorndale to come in I'm not necessarily sure. But and I'm not just saying this because you're on the show of lobbying being legit. I I would like to see him more than he's pitched. I'm surprised we haven't. You Know I. Don't WanNa get too much into the woods of last night's loss but. We're going to get there the entire everybody that hasn't noticed yet. The name of the show that said, this evening on the twitter is what happened to fundamentals. So I, have a strange to get the last night's game. Brendan have you. You know you've seen it. K- is ban very, very good at as far as goes. He's probably one of the better ones. What's your opinion so far before we obviously get brotherly love situation here. He should have been pitching and shown Yamaguchi's role lot quicker if the tenth day after the first time, he blew it out there because every single five anthony comes in Egypt paid in the corner going out basketball and you just check out his stat cash page or baseball von page and..

"Yeah. I mean you can also make a joke that's that's been made that you know they're so used to not having anybody in the stands that like it's it's nothing new for them. Really. So that's kind of my point he's got a crowd button already. Yes. Yeah I. Thank you for doing that Nicely it's said of you know just throwing it out there but yeah, I I Do think maybe it does give them a little bit of an inherent advantage plus the fact that like these guys so used to not playing in front of fans I think that helps you know it's just just the there have been games like there's a game last year against the Baltimore Orioles I am not lying and I know it's the orioles five thousand fans in the stands five thousand. Moreover a lot of these guys they're young guys. So it's not like they're they're so far removed from playing in the backfield's in in high school college earlier. Low a ball or double a ball where there's not as many like they're not that used to the big lights. Say you know if you're a member of the Red Sox are the Yankees and you've been an eight year a lot of these guys are young guys that are just. Making the come up and and they've also got a good fun club house they know. They know the situation they played for the raise attendance is terrible and they got to find a way to entertain themselves, and this is a good fund group that that really gets along. And I think that that at the end of the day should be able to carry them a little bit. Yeah. I don't like that about that moment to be honest I think they do get along they do have a good chemistry inside the house and that's to me I think that's a problem as a Yankees Fan. So although the Yankees also have good chemistry I. Think we are going to see this as a battle down to you know the final the final game between two teams. It's GonNa be fun. It's fun to watch I think it's going to be some good baseball and I think that. The season's going be interesting like I said earlier if nothing else it's going to be interesting sixty s sprint something we've never seen before. So Kevin man thanks for coming on. "I still go golfing I still go to the gym and everything. Now find out probably tomorrow I'll get it or something like that. But like. These guys like just because they're in Florida, they're taking it like to an up TNT level or something like that like people are talking about like the Blue Jays are still homeless right as a right now Pittsburgh just announced that. Oh. It's Pittsburgh I thought they. Thought I saw on twitter they announced Pittsburgh I heard that Pittsburgh's health department. Like nixed the plan like just an hour hour and a half ago or something like that should be, I, have not been on twitter in the last hour and a half. So if that happened, that is news breaking Nassar. Pittsburgh said noted the Canadians. Yeah. So there are homeless in like people are like would the would mlb really allow. A third team in. Florida. As of right now, like that would make the difference between them like the whole team contracting the virus no, I. Mean You you plan to need. There's no fans around. There's no there's you know you're you're doing everything that the razor doing and at the Marlins are doing in, you'll be okay like it would be different if like every raise player got the Kobe but I do have insider information on that I, do have insider information on that I. Actually we talked to I talked to arden swelling of sports net candidate yesterday when we did our Toronto's preview and they apparently have already internally. Said noted on need like that's not happening out. They've said noted Dunedin and that's why they're going to these major league parks. They've also looked at buffalo and buffalo was not appropriate based on the D. actual facilities is what they're saying. So there, I mean to me if it's not Pittsburgh if that got it, you know eighty six for some reason, it's going to be another major league park that they're going to have to share otherwise they're on the road for a while and some of their home in homes they can split like nationals there, and then the phillies. So they can kind of just stay there instead of going back. They have something. To take back my comment about the blue. Jays. Finishing third in the division with everything that's going on right now in trouble. Yeah. Yeah. No, there's there's a lot of things happening and I wouldn't. It wouldn't shock me when we everybody started traveling that more obstacles were to come up but staying on the field I think one of the things for you guys is that the style of play and to me I mean you, you mentioned them having the best offensive team in. Potential history definitely Kevin cash maybe even Joe Madden but look at the top three pitching I. I don't know if you can compare that I think as far as like ceiling wise. You have the the best three that you've ever had a I. Don't think there's too much of a dispute actually that you've had a better team with the top three pitchers. I don't know about a better team but the raise it. I don't know if the rays have been better offensively. But I think I think you add it on the whole I think yeah this is probably I mean it. It shapes up to be the strongest team I mean the only the only reason that I may have a little bit of a reservation is because like I don't know what we're going to get from Blake's now I really don't yet talk glass down was also A guy that just doesn't stay on the field. So it's a matter of being healthy..

"If you have any thoughts on cavenaugh or anything else, that's brewing. Here this morning. Still talking about of course, the Tampa Bay rays the raise now own the Tampa Bay rowdies. And apparently they're not going to be going over to Tampa. Given what the former owner had to say about him yesterday that. In tampa. You've already got the Tampa Bay Lightning and Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Tampa Bay rays are going to be coming over here you need a team in Saint Petersburg. So he is I guess he speculating that the rays are going to keep them there. I hate to see what they're doing to outlying field though. They're just destroying the history of lying field and turning it into a real soccer fields. So it's not even resembling a baseball stadium anymore. I mean right now it still looks a little like a baseball stadium. But that's going to be gone and another year two they're going to change it and put permanent seats in there. Apparently. So they're going to make it a soccer field when I have two big shelves of seats going around two of the corners the opposite corner 'cause they add them in there. Now, they add in there, and it really is a beautiful baseball field. It is. Historic baseball field incredibly historic and I'd love to see them. Get a spring training team in there. Babe Ruth is played there all the greats. Ted Williams every great player in history has played at Al Lang stadium because it was one of the first spring training fields. It was the first spring training field. I think I think that's why we got excited yesterday when we heard this deal going down because we thought maybe the raise will play a little spring training ball in Saint Pete. Now, I I don't know if that's the case because port Charlotte the raise already play in Saint Pete during the season. I don't I don't think it should be the raise. But somebody should come over there and play. I mean, I would think given the history of that. And given how we take the baseball around here that they could lure a team from someplace else to come here and do their spring training here. But I don't know that's remains to be seen. What they what they're probably going to do now, which they said yesterday is more concerts at Al Lang. Yeah, they need more concerts, which is a good thing. But it's there if. They change it Twitter planning to change it. I don't even think it'll be a good concert venue. I mean because you'll have the I guess the concerts done in the middle on the field of set up a stage out there. And then you've got the extremes. It's like you do a concert, and there's nobody in front of you. They're all on one side or the other or you face one. And all the other people are behind you. And I'd like to be able to kind of look to my left and feel the water on my side there as a as you're watching the music, that's a cool environment. That's why I love Curtis six, and that's why I think sparkman wharf is gonna be fantastic. Yeah. But anyway, I'm not sure what else going to happen. But still would love to see the rowdies end up playing in Tampa. Because I think they'd have bigger crowds. Tampa just more used to going back to the old NASA L days. I mean, I don't think they're going to get forty thousand or anything like that. I think the average attendance last year was fifty five hundred or something like that. I'll guarantee you. They would have a hell of a lot more than that. They would have at least twenty thousand. Say what.

"The discouraging part or the alarming part is that if you look at his fifth it is exactly in line with what it has been each year since two thousand fifteen here is year by your phipps four point one zero four point one zero four point four eight and four point three zero this year so there's a massive gap is he are it looks really pretty and for all of us who have wanted kevin gos man to be that like legitimate number two type guy that's encouraging but then you look at the line numbers in your like can even hang my hat on this small he's he's he's living right he's got nudes he's got news on the fifth fairy that's why newts on the fifth ferry and she's doing right right now so you keep trucking goson what are you going let's go cross the tampa bay rays so sorry to be negative nancy but my positive is brent honeywell who underwent tommy john surgery christ under but i mean we're looking at the future i mean he's not gonna come is gonna come this even though i know it's fine it's just it's funny that everything you're saying is essentially negative yeah yeah but yes he undergoes john surgery i think i want to say to discovered february but last year between aa and aaa he struggled one hundred seventy two batters in one hundred thirty six and two thirds innings that is that is absurd that is something to be excited about so yeah i mean obviously tampa is i don't think they're ever going to return to the days where they were just complete dumpster fire in terms of being dead last finishing thirty games back of first place.

"Your what both incorrect what's yeah you know those tampa bay rays uniforms aware that looked like the seventy eight padres yep they say tampa bay rays well i gotta tell you i didn't win but i won because i'd had no confidence i did think raise uniforms you made reference to but i felt like you know what this was an opportunity for josh to move ahead in the in the quiz any failed and that makes me happy targeting me i was i always sure i was sure about that one well the wind will it's a win even when i don't win would it be glass half full buster but we're actually still tied so you didn't win all summer long wouldn't want a day yeah and the good thing is we have you making time for instance you promote this this great book you're doing todd at fun with that all right guys thanks so much bleacher tweets bluster gary car get started today he's at gary carr gary says of the eight teams that are now below four hundred which is the most surprising to you and will any of the squad's get back into contention this year of course those teams are the raise the orioles the royals the white sox the rangers the marlins the reds and the padres man there are a lot of bad teams are they're not there are and you know i can't really get into specifics and say that team is definitely tanking but there's no question a lot of teams are taking i think the most surprising team would be the royals because the royals unlike some of these other teams at the end of the wintertime when they had available money when eric hosmer sign with the padres they used it they signed mike miss dacas they signed john jay they made other moves so i and especially in a weaker american league central i thought the roles that get off to better start and i and i don't think they're going to get back in contention but i think they're going to be better than some of these other teams mitchell is at tigers of detroit and wants to know if max scherzer retired today with his war of forty six point five would he be a.
